It was blah, white bread — not good, not bad, just eh. My one on con would be that the room was cold, and the heat didn't seem to work. That was perhaps my ignorance, but I do know how to work a thermostat most of the time. 🤷♀️😉 The breakfast was uninspired, but at least the coffee wasn't instant. I think that's over 200 characters now…
Great hotel, comfortable beds, great service. Breakfast was included in our stay and they had a variety of options. The only complaint I had about this hotel was the water pressure. It would go completely out and come back full force while showering
If you're looking for a comfortable stay for a reasonable price in the heart of Miraflores just a block from the seaside mall, then this is the place. We love the comfortable beds, included breakfast, friendly staff and super convenient location of the Urban Larco. Your guest room is only accessible by a secure elevator. The rooms are clean, the showers are hot and strong. It is our preferred place to stay whenever we are in Lima.
Great experience staying in this hotel Location is great, few minutes away from larcomar shopping mall. Room is great as well Breakfast have multiple options and Also the breakfast to go had good variety Staff was very friendly both reception and from door person
This hotel appeared fine online but once inside beware of extra charges, unclean conditions and odors. At Check-in after midnight, we completed two arrival cards but on check out a staff member named Jorge charged 44$ extra claiming we had an unauthorized extra person. He wanted to collect and pocket the fee in cash and would not call his manager when we complained. Only my wife and I stayed in the room with one bed, no carpet, and very little furniture. There are many hotels in this area - choose something other than “worst” Western.
Best Western/ Urban Larco is a good value and quite proficient in getting you excellent taxi service, restaurant information, sites and museums. Seek out David at reception. (Lima has the best restaurants, by far, in all of South America.) And this district, Miraflores, is the safest and most upscale in Lima. The best alpaca shops are close to this hotel, on Jose Larco Ave. and at Larcomar.
Hotel is in a great location, with ample restaurant options nearby. It's walking distance from larcomar mall. Room size was good. It was very busy in the morning for breakfast, they were not able to accommodate all guest when we went. The breakfast was decent, there is a fee for specialty coffee.
Very comfortable room, great breakfast and dinner at their restaurant, most the staff was top-notch. Only hiccup was a requested to-go breakfast wasn't written down when I asked to order it, so that was an unpleasant surprise the next morning, however being told to eat (my bag of chips from my room in lou of a real breakfast) OUTSIDE instead of in the lobby when it was dark outside was a little more than my patience would accommodate at 4am waiting for a day-trip pickup. That said, the security man outside was very pleasant to chat with and because of his presence, I didn't feel unsafe eating my chips. Location was great, easy walking all around the tourist area. My irritation aside, I wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again.
very quiet.. great location 2 minutes walk from the ocean and Larcomar mall.. staff super nice and helpful.. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby breakfast was very good.. several options with made to order eggs and omelets.. specialty coffee for a small fee
The location is great. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The lobby needs some upgrades. The service is excellent. The front desk did a great job; Zulema and the rest were always there to help. Management gets an F. We had a booking, and we left for 2 nights to visit Macchu Picchu; instead of leaving our luggage in the storage free of charge, we kept the booking so we didn't have to deal with checking out and checking back in. We came back to find out that work was getting done on our floor and that we had to move to another floor. It was a huge inconvenience, but we had no choice but to move. We asked to have the manager contact us, but she (I think her name is Sylvia - I could be wrong). We were offered a ride to the airport, which was nice. I asked for 3 days to have the manager call us but never heard from her. That is not good leadership.
We stayed here for one night while visiting Lima. The hotel was nice and clean. The receptionist was friendly. The room size was good with comfortable beds. The shower had good water pressure as well. Breakfast was included and it was good. Our friends that were also staying here mentioned that they also cook your eggs to order. I would recommend this hotel.
I guess this was a value option but I would avoid. Compared to all other hotels we have experienced the room was comfortable & clean but very noisy as we were above the front sliding doors which are in constant use night & day. Any movement in neighbouring rooms echoes and the sound proofing from the street not effective. Breakfast was adequate but not appetising - coffee awful! The staff seemed bored and we experienced none of the wonderful friendly service we have been used to. So all in all I would avoid.
Wife and I stayed for 6 nights. Location is great. Short walk to local amenities and 10 minute walk to John F Kennedy Park which is full of cats. Room was decent size and bed comfortable and bathroom/shower are decent. We arrived super early in the morning and were allowed to check in rather than having to wait until the listed check-in time. Honestly felt like we were the only guests there as we only ever saw 2 other people our entire stays. We were given a room at the back of the hotel with a terrible view of a building rooftop and other room facing ours. We asked to be changed to another room and was to the following. Seemed odd to give us that room when it seemed like the hotel was empty. Breakfast was included in our rate and every morning we were the only guests eating apart from the two other guests we saw on different days. Breakfast is a very basic buffet. Some pancakes, two fruit selections, some cereal as well as some slices of cake. Basic coffee with some fruit juices, Hot food is available but had to be ordered and was only eggs and Bacon. Very boring to have the same day in day out. Another very annoying issue was that on Wednesday Breakfast is closed to all guests for some unknown reason yet no one made us aware of this until we went for Breakfast on Wednesday and we're turned away. Instead they asked us what we would like and then delivered it to our room but not being made aware of this was very poor service. We will not stay again on our next visit to Lima.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and found it to be extremely basic. The hotel was largely unoccupied, this was evident when we found that we were the only 2 guests at breakfast everyday, yet when we requested a room with a better view, we were initially told there were no rooms available. We asked again on the second day and our room was changed to a view of the street. Breakfast was an extremely dull affair. The choices very limited and the bread very stale. The hot cakes too were stodgy and I found them to be inedible. The room itself was a decent size and the toiletries provided were the absolute basic - cheap shampoo, conditioner and a bar of soap. The staff at this hotel were unlike the friendly, pleasant Peruvians we had come to know and love in Lima. They were not very warm or friendly, so appeared to be unapproachable. Juan at breakfast was the exception though, he was pleasant and helpful. We were particularly unimpressed by the hotel not informing us at the change of breakfast hours on one of the days during our stay, we went down for breakfast at 9:07, only to be told that breakfast was served until 9am that morning. Juan however, offered to bring breakfast to our room as he must've realised we were unpleasantly surprised at not being notified in advance. The festive atmosphere during the lead up to and on Christmas Day were non existent. None of the staff appeared to be in a pleasant mood and ignored our Christmas wishes. My husband and I have been travelling across continents for Christmas for the past 12 years and we had never experienced such a sad, disappointing vibe at a hotel during the festive season, even in non Christian countries. The hotel is in a good location however, there are various others within close proximity which I would urge you to consider. I've stayed at Best Western hotels in Asia and Europe and the service was 100% better than that offered in Peru - the hotel in Lima gives the chain a poor reputation and certainly wouldn't be an option I would consider going forward, as their standards have dropped considerably.
Great location to explore the Lima area. Lots of great restaurants nearby as well as shopping. Convenient location for visiting many different sites in the Lima area. Rooms were good sized and the service was good.
We stayed here in July 2022. We arranged for a hotel transport and was greeted upon our exit from the airport. The service was efficient and courteous! The hotel was standard but had everything we needed! We booked a suite and it was a very convenient stay for 6 nights! The room was very spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast was not expansive but sufficient to keep us fueled for the morning! The front reception was always willing to assist! The restaurant staff was always attentive and courteous! The location cannot be beat! We enjoyed our stay so much the we will stay here again when we visit in Dec 2022!
We arrived to this hotel after a week in the peruvian amazon, we had a two nights stay. We chose this hotel because of the good reviews, location and we wanted a big warm room to treat ourselves after the amazon experience. The hotel rooms were freezing cold, we called reception to ask for heating or how to change temperature and they sent a portable radiator that didnt work. The shower was cold too and wouldn't get hot, we contacted reception through phone, the contact form in their website and through whatsapp , somebody called David Fabian from reservations contacted us to say we would be contacted by front desk to sort this out but nobody contacted us and we wrote David again and he never replied neither again. Lastly, i know this is only “if available” but as gold expedia members we should have the chance to get a room upgrade and we asked if there was any availability to get this perk and they said they would check, but again nobody came back to us after that. I understand this is an optional perk but not even a word of: we are really sorry, we dont have availability, or maybe they just didnt want to do it. All in all, we came back from the amazon expecting a warm room with a hot shower and we didnt get either, i would even say that the temperature of the rooms and shower in the amazon was better. Unfortunately we can't recommend this hotel and our peruvians friends were perplexed of the bad service we got for the premium price we paid.
The location is great, easy access to everywhere. The staffs were all attentive to my questions. Every staff was wearing a mask so I felt secured here. The room fare was quite OK as compared to the others. I would recommend this hotel to everybody.
We Stayed 9 nights here for vacation from Miami. Great hotel! I've stayed in Lima before at other hotels- by far I like this hotel. Amazing location by Larco Mar, walking distance everywhere in Miraflores and to the beautiful Pacific ocean. Nice and large rooms. Comfty beds! Breakfast buffet was nice. Staff at restaurant and hotel super attentive. All bilingual staff. Liked that Breakfast was served until 1030am. Met many tourists from all over. Totally recommended this hotel if you plan to stay in Lima. Thank you Best Western Larco!
This is a clean, quiet, and modern hotel with a very friendly bi-lingual staff. It has a perfect location, about a block from the Larcomar Mall and the malecon and a few blocks straight up the street to Kennedy Park and the heart of Miraflores. If you don't plan to spend a lot time in your room, and you really shouldn't in Lima, then it would be hard to beat this hotel.
We were looking for a place to stay as we attended a family wedding and found a good deal at this property. I saw it had good reviews and close to larcomar which is a good area for a nice stroll in the morning and nights so we gave it a try. My dad and I each got a single queen room and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff especially exceeded our expectations. They were very helpful with all our needs. We had some phone issues and they let us use the phone to call local family. They helped us arrange a covid test in our room 24 hours before our departure which made the whole process stress free. Breakfast was good for being included. Coffee tasted good, they also offered juices and yogurt and ham and cheese with some breads. You can also ordered hot items such as omelets or eggs in any style you wanted. We usually rent apartments when we visit but saw this good deal when searching thru booking and decided to try out a hotel instead. We definitely will be staying here more often during our visits.
Nothing fancy but a good clear room in the heart of Miraflores! Great location, clean, friendly staff. There's great coffee next door and an acai bowl place nearby. I loved the location. It was a secure place. Great value for the money. No frills.
The hotel is perfectly located close to the Larcomar, cliff top gardens and walks and also close to the restaurants and town. (Next to the Marriott) The staff were friendly and helpful in every way. The room was clean and perfectly adequate. Good value.
Terrible experience. I reserved this hotel last minute for a Venezuelan friend in distress. She calls minutes after my reservation to get directions, is told they are not allowed to come because they are not vaccinated. Then when I cancel the reservation, this hotel refuses to give me my money back. This would not be acceptable in any other part of the world.
The room was clean, the staff was accommodating, and everything went smoothly. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had our breakfast and taxi on time since we had to leave very early in the morning. Absolutely excellent customer service.
I loved my experience at the Best Wester Plus close to Larcomar. Everything was clean, great people working on this hotel, excellent location, the room space was great for the price. Definitely I will back.
I stayed for two nights recently upon returning from the Amazon, Cusco, Sacred Valley - wow! The cruise scheduled to depart Lima on 15th March was cancelled with COVID-19 and on my last night it was confirmed that all flights into and out of Peru would cease. I had just booked another two nights at the Hotel but needed to cancel as soon as I had secured a flight home. That meant a delay - until 2am in the morning when I was finally successful in getting one of the last 4 seats available to get to the US and then onto Australia. The Hotel staff were very understanding of my circumstance and had contacted my room to see if I was ok because I hadn't surfaced. The rooms are very comfortable, a flat pillow choice, in room desk, buffet breakfast included, great location in MiraFlores on the coast and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff, especially Dayna who was just superb both during and after my stay.
Loved staying here for a couple nights. This place exceeded our expectations. We stayed in another similarly priced AirBnB place for the other portion of our trip to Lima and we now regret not staying here the whole time. This was one of the top 5 hotels I've ever stayed at and definitely the best price of all those. Extremely clean. Helpful staff. Great location. Unbelievably comfy bed. Fast internet. AC and ocean view from our room!!
Spent four nights at the Urban Larco Hotel. It's in a great location, just a few minutes walk to Larcomar shopping centre with great views of the Pacific ocean. Friendly helpful staff especially the concierge who arranged taxis for us and just about anything else we requested. The rooms are nice and big, comfy bed. Breakfast is good and included. We'd stay here again if ever we are in beautiful Lima Peru!
The hotel is perfectly located in Miraflores. Walking distance pretty much to everything that you need. Shopping mall across the street. There's a coffee shop next door. And lots of places to eat at the mall and surrounding streets. The hotel itself is clean, rooms a average in size. And the staff were all very helpful
The hotel was good, close to Larcomar shopping center (walking distance). The rooms were clean with a good bed and tv. Downside, since we were at the highest floor the second day they were working on the roof, the noise was so annoying and started at 7:00 am. I don't know why if they knew they will be working on the roof you put people right in the below they will be working. Breakfast was really good and wifi service was good too.
We stayed at the Best Western for 10 days. Our room had two rooms, one that served as a sitting area by the entrance with a sofa bed that my daughter used. The rooms were clean, the shower was spacious and had good water pressure. Breakfast was really good, lots of options, and nothing tasted stale or old, and one could ask for waffles and other dishes, which were part of the free breakfast. The waiters were very polite and helpful. The hotel offers free luggage storage. We went to Cuzco for the weekend, and they stored our suitcases for free while we were gone. The people at the front desk always greeted us politely. The entrance and the elevator were always clean. The hotel is located near a mall by the beach and lots of restaurants and shops.
Nice modern hotel with good newly furnished rooms and very helpful friendly staff. The rooms are not massive but very clean and well laid out with good quality bed and shower and coffee making equipment (the important bits). Breakfast is basic buffet with hot food to order but all very clean and freshly stocked and friendly service. The hotel is located close to the main attractions in the Miraflores area which can be accessed on foot and although the roads are busy the streets are clean safe with lots of security personnel present. There are a wide variety of restaurants from the recognised global chains to more local and traditional types ( meal for two for 16 Sores/ £4).
I arrived late due to late flight, messaged hotel ahead of time and they helped to arrange taxi pickup (20USD) and had everything prepared for my check in. Hotel is at Miraflores, 2 min walk away from the sea front and a large shopping mall. Also lots of options for restaurants nearby. Barranco district is also with 15-20 min walking distance. In general good stay for my solo travel.
Nice hotel, very close to the beach in a nice area of MiraFlores. Within easy walking distance is a small outdoor mall with high-end stores and some good places to eat. Great views of the coastline; especially at night when the far-off coast is lit-up
We stayed two nights at this hotel before heading for the mountains in Peru. The hotel is clean, comfortable and perfectly located. The restaurant provides good quality food and the staff - especially Surlema - were very accommodating.
Very nice hotel almost 2 years old, clean and comfortable. Hotel is 1 block away from Larcomar very convenient location. I stayed 2 nights room 606 junior suite very nice room I was even able to see the ocean from my room no bad at all. The service is super they as a courtesy allowed me to do late checking 2 pm I was able to do it not extra charge and they even offered me 7pm late checking for extra charge , $55 , and i considered very good. The employees are super nice the ladies at the front desk very helpful and the guys at the door very helpful too always there to help me with taxi and directions, the taxi service always on time and i also used their knowledge on every place I visited. The breakfast super nice it came included very good service from everyone specially Manuel Ortiz he is not from Peru he is from Venezuela but he knows a lot the city and helped me with directions too, he provided me very good service and was very patient with my children always tried to accommodate then making sure they were able to eat fine , not issues at all I do recommend this place.
We stayed here for eleven nights while visiting friends and experiencing Lima. The location is superb, a block from Larcomar, walking distance (for us) from Barranco. We cannot say enough about the staff. From Eduardo and Dennis at the concierge desk to the cleaning service, everyone was attentive and personable and responsive to any need. We loved our room and appreciated the water bottles provided every day as well as the evening chocolates! As much as we have appreciated Best Westerns on our USA road trips, this is by far the best one we have ever stayed at! Bravo, Urban Larco!!
Price is great for the location. Very short walk to the main mall Larcomar on the Pacific with lots of restaurants in there. Miraflores best location. On main road so easy to catch transportation. Rooms are modern and clean. Small reception area and normal breakfast.
My husband stayed here for 30 days while teaching a study abroad class, and I joined for the last 10 days of this. The hotel here was great. We were really happy with the friendliness of the staff, and helpfulness. Rooms were clean, well maintained, with great views of Miraflores district and the oceans from some rooms. Hotel felt very safe, even late at night. They allowed us to store luggage with them for a three day trip to Machu Picchu. They also stored our luggage after check out at 12pm, when we didn't need to leave for the airport until 10 hours later. Phol was great as a bellhop and security, and Fabiola at reception was very helpful and nice as well. The one disappointment here was the hotel bar, as it was not very welcoming. It was more of a "get a drink to take back to your room" kind of area, with little to keep someone in the bar area to hang out. I think we are highly likely to stay here again if we return to Lima.
I booked four rooms here for one night in Miraflores. Check-in time is 3 pm, but we checked in early at 10:30 am and all four rooms were clean and ready by 11 am. Extra bonus that they put most of our rooms on the same floor. The location is fantastic, next to a Starbucks, and a block away from Larcomar shopping center and the coast of Miraflores. We had breakfast included but needed to check out early the next morning at 5 am, which was before their breakfast hours. They ended up packing breakfast bags for us to take the next morning, which was very sweet and thoughtful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location, comfortable, modern rooms, delicious breakfast and friendly staff! Affordable and very clean! Walk to shopping and restaurants. Free WIFI and transportation to airport.
Excellent service. Thanks to Best Western Plus Urban Larco Team for its excellent quality service, very appreciated. My overall rating of this property, excellent. Service, cleanliness, value, location, quality of sleep, room and bottles of water to drink free every day -the first hotel in Peru that did that. Thank you
The hotel has an excellent location, with Larcomar Miraflores mall just a 2 min walk down from the hotel. So I could just stroll down near the coast after the work hours, take a coffee at the nearest Starbucks or Cinnamon or Cafe Juan Valdej or the various other options around. Thats not all, the mall is next to the coast but good 100 m high, gives you an excellent view. The hotel offers near clean, luxury rooms.. No complains. The WiFi works fast and so it is perfect for business. The restaurant offers a nice spread of breakfast and on top of it the staff, especially Zulema made the difference. She made sure of my food preferences and get me the best omellete with Cheese and mushrooms, my fav. I really appreciate the diligent staff of the hotel. Overall a great stay and highly recommended.
Great location in Miraflores close to Larcomar Mall, restaurants and ocean. Warm friendly staff, clean and quiet room like brand new hotel! The front desk staff are friendly and accommodating, they changed our room upon request as the room above the street was a little bit noisy although with good view. They provide two free bottle water every day which is very nice. Super helpful concierge, they helped us to book the trip and taxi to airport (55 sols on 4AM). The daily breakfast is good enough but need to ask for hot water which need to be improved. You can order omelet or waffles. We were there three nights, highly recommended.
The hotel is in a perfect location, two steps away from the shopping centre and the main restaurants, bars and attractions of Miraflores. Unfortunately the positive aspects end here in my opionion; the rooms are very basic, but for a 3 star superior you can accept it. The breakfast is terrible, especially because badly organized, a single waiter can not clean the room, set up the buffet serve coffee (I do not understand why it is not left free ...) and follow the customers. The rest of the staff is kind but sincerely unprepared: they were not able to answer a single question about suggestions (bars, restaurants and nightlife) and have shown at least very little touch, we were in the hotel on the night of the strong earthquake (May 25) and no one has even bothered to verify that everyone was fine, apply an emergency procedure and even ask the next day a simple "how are you?". I honestly believe that for the neighborhood and the situation is required the kindness, attention and professionalism that we have reconsidered in almost all other truttures during our trip to Peru.
Hotel was fine and rooms were renovated. Breakfast diversified. Service was good. Unfortunately, it didn't have room service. In my first night, I arrived late, super hungry but was just suggested to order delivery.
when we arrived we had to wait for what seemed like eternity for a member of staff to arrive to book us in ....... from there onwards we had no issues what so ever for the 3 days we was in Lima well located and clean, modern hotel well stocked breakfast bar friendly and helpful staff through-out a good safe place to be will certainly book back in if back in Lima anytime
hotel is just 2 years old and close to the Larcomar shopping center and the coastal walk. Rooms are modern and spaceous, air condition works, free WiFi, breakfast is normal not fancy, will return when in Lima
This hotel is in the perfect location in Miraflores. It is two blocks away from the coast. Walking distance to some great restaurants. The staff was very helpful to suggest restaurants, hold our 11 pieces of luggage, and arrange taxis. The rooms are clean and modern. The location is also about 20-30 minutes away from the main square and ~40 minutes from the airport.
Located at two minutes walking distance to outstanding Larcomar Plaza in Miraflores, Best Western Urban Larco offers spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent service, well trained personal, very good breakfast, including good fast speed internet. I'm frequent traveller to Lima, and this hotel has become my favorite from my first stay until today. It's ideal for business travel, but I've been there just for pleasure and it works well... I do recommend it at all!
This hotel is very nice, pretty mush to US standards. It is in Miraflories and is just 2 blocks from the ocean cliffs/park/restaurants/shops. The breakfast buffet was very good and is pretty expansive. The dinner menu is somewhat limited and not many people. We arrived about 9:00 PM so ate there and it was pretty much as good as any we ate at while in Peru
Easy check-in process, easy to find, great location. Within walking distance of the shopping and restaurants of Miraflores overlooking the beach. Room has working a/c which was a great relief. Decent breakfast.
This place was immaculate and I was very impressed by the attention and warmth received from the beginning to the end of my stay from every employee in there. The breakfast included on the stay was varied and superb. I had a family reunion planned by Zulema and had 2 excellent servers, Marco and Gina. It was a success. I would recommend it 110% and l will definitely comeback on my next trip. They all made us feel at home!
Stayed here when we arrived in Lima. Very impressed with service, especially the concierge. Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Wifi was a little weak where the sofa bed was. That was the only small negative. WE did a trip down the coast and got back a day early, so booked in again. Would use it again if ever in Lima.
Excellent, new and well located hotel. It is a few meters from the top of the cliff and also the Shopping Larcomar. The thick glass guarantees silence. Courteous and professional staff. Breakfast very good. Great option in the Miraflores area.
Almost my second home, and not only for the rooms, cleaning and building but the service; The staff is super nice, respectful and helpful; I even lost my ID last year and had it sent to them to recover it on my next trip and guess what? They put it in an envelope waiting for me. Super grateful for the effort to make you feel comfortable. The restaurant is excellent, great breakfast with many options, fruits, cereal, cakes or continental, you name it. Special thanks to the Chef and waitress Zulema Garate, Reception: Lorena Argote, Sebastian Vera, Fabiola Reyes, and the Bellboys Dennis, Eduardo and Christopher. I hope to book here on every trip to Lima. PS: Location is excellent, 2 blocks away from Lima´s Bay, Green parks and Larcomar Mall.
If I could give six stars I would. This hotel is amazing,, First, the rooms are sprinkled and fire resistant. My room is minimalist but more than adequate. There is internet in the rooms but Priceline doesn't seem to know it. It is fast. the bed is very comfortable as are the pillows. The elevators are quick and rapid but you hardly know they are moving. There is free parking using a car elevator that takes you to the garage. The free breakfast is amazing. If you can dream it you can have it. The staff is even more amazing - all fluent in English with great personalities. The rooms are quiet and the AC is robust. I cannot express my great review for this property adequately...and at a price that is almost shameful - it's so cheap compared to the Marriott just one block away. Thank you to the hotel and staff...especially to the concierge Dennis who made each day special for me.
Very nice and friendly staff. They go out of their way to ensure pleasant experience. Had issues with room not cooling, however, they quickly moved me to another room and it is great!!.They have amazing free breakfast that includes so many delicious fresh fruits, fresh fruit juices, different breads, yogurt, variety of chesses, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs veggies, deserts, tea, coffee, few other meat dishes (being vegetarian did not pay attention), excellent staff. They provide 2 free bottled water daily. Have coffee and tea in the room along with a mini refrigerator. Rooms have safe. Bathrooms are nice and morden with showers. Nice hot water. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion. Daily cleaning service. They surprised me with a tray of delicious complimentary desserts on my birthday. Highly recommend this place!!!
If you're travelling to Lima and are planning to be working around San Isidro and Miraflores districts, this might be the hotel you're looking for. Located two blocks away from the famous Larcomar shopping mall and the JW Marriott, this executive hotel provides you with large and very clean rooms, quite decent beds and sheets and a complete breakfast at a very affordable rate (US$ 100 per night)
Best Western Larco is very comfortable, the rooms are of good quality, all services are included. I did not find such a nice staff in Lima. The continental breakfast is perfect to get in shape for a good day
A no nonsense hotel. We were there with 3 couples before our travel to other parts of the country. The hotel met our expectations: everything we needed was there, was clean and was in good order. Would not hesitate to book this again. Good location, clean, very pleasant staff.
One block from Larcomar shopping mall and Parque Salazar Hotel Restaurant closes early (not good), but many options around to eat. Great rooms and staff I recommend for business or leisure Breakfast bufet is really good, many options to choose from.
We were looking for a comfortable and nice hotel to end our trip in Peru and found lots of options. We couldn't go past the excellent reviews for this hotel, Best Western, and the photos looked great but for a significantly cheaper price than the other hotels we were looking at (Marriott, etc). We booked it and we were not disappointed. The staff at the front desk were always available, spoke English well and were very helpful. The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable, had a great view of the city, large bed and clean bathroom. It didn't at all look like the usual Best Westerns we had seen. The breakfast was adequate but not extensive and you can order omelettes/waffles, etc, but just two or so shops down there's an excellent coffee shop and crepe place which we visited every day it was so good. The location is excellent. Definitely worth the money saved!
I really liked the location of this hotel. You can walk to the Larcomar Shopping Center in just a few minutes, there are banks, shops, restaurants nearby. If you are going to Cuzco and then Machu Picchu by PeruRail you can pick up your ticket at the mall. The room was comfortable. The bed offered a great night's sleep and the views from the window were not too bad either. The staff was great, check-in in and check- out fast. I'd stay here again.....
The hotel was amazing, from the great staff to assist you with whatever you need, to the morning breakfast that we found offered more then the other 3 hotels we stayed at on our trip. The rooms are modern and new with in our opinion a comfy bed. The wifi in the room was great with no interruptions and the hotel was just steps from Larcomar and the ocean front. The front desk was always present and the elevators require you to scan your room key in order to use it which made us feel safe and comfortable. I am planning to return to the hotel on my next visit.
Efficient reception staff and check in process, comfortable and stylish rooms and a great spread for breakfast. Super location a block away from both the Larcomar shopping centre and the airport express bus. I fully recommend it:as a smart choice for a stay in Lima.
Stayed here for only one night--had room with King and Sofa Bed which was quite spacious for three persons. You can't beat the location for access to Miraflores--close to the mall, cliffs and parks. We walked everywhere from here. The hotel is not fancy, but works fine. Wifi was fine, room was clean but not luxury. Breakfast was fine--nothing special but enough. All in all--good value, and good place to have as a home base in Lima.
Loved our stay here. We felt very safe and the hotel was super modern and clean. It was also just steps away from the beautiful cliffs overlooking the ocean. We could see the ocean from our room. Just a perfect location for exploring Miraflores.
We stayed in a junior suite room (with 3 people) and the room was very spacious and clean. The beds were good and the location (Miraflores) just one black away from the waterfront and LarcoMar shopping was great. It also felt safe at night. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was very good (lots of choices). It's about an hour drive from the international airport to the hotel and traffic in Lima is crazy but once we're in the hotel it was very quiet. Great hotel for a good price!
Warm friendly staff, good rooms, clean and quiet! Loved the quiet from the craziness of the BIG city. Easy to find. The hotel shuttle bus drops right on the corner. Super helpful concierge. The daily breakfast is GREAT! Much to chose from and they will make omelet to order, waffles. We were there three nights and each morning it was a bit difference with some items. Shops, restaurants, are close and an easy walk. Of course use down the street from the ocean.
Very good location in Miraflores, nice rather large room (at least mine was). Clean, modern, except the internet connection which blocked connections to VPNs for maximum security. Windows could not be opened to let fresh air in, which is unhealthy.
The rooms are clean, the wi-fi and A/C work really well, the shower has hot water, and the location is perfect. It's just off the waterfront, about one-half block inland from the fancy Marriott, and near the Larco Mall. The buffet breakfasts (included) were decent, with good coffee. The rooms are fairly small, but the beds were really comfortable, and who spends much time in their hotel room except to sleep and shower? Great value for the money.
Great service from bellboy, the front desk and the maid. Nice location, close to the mall and plaza. Comfortable soft bed, clean bathroom and in the room. There're 2 Chinese restaurants nearby which their foods are quite delicious. A bit far from airport. Even it's high price, I'll book here again if I go back to Lima.
Rooms was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Five minutes walk to the main shopping and eating areas. You get what you expect from a Best Western in a modern hotel. Would recommend this hotel due to its location and value for money.
Located in a very nice area in Miraflores. Five-minute walk to the famous Larcomar Mall and plenty of taxis nearby. The room was clean, large and the beds were very comfortable. Reception staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Good buffet breakfast. ScotiaBank ATM in the adjoining building was very convenient.
This hotel meets the specs for what it charges. It seems fairly modern, no funky smell. Small but effective lobby and staff. I remember the bed being very comfy. The room doesn't show any signs of wear and tear. You can notice that often in their bathrooms, and this one looked new. The breakfast is not very varied, but I didn't expect much. The hotel is walking distance to their famous Larcomar mall. Hotel was a good 40-50 minute drive to the international airport. If you're on business, this hotel is probably great for you.
I loved this hotel. It opened in mid-2017 so everything in it is new, fresh with a very contemporary interior design. It's very close to the Larcomar shopping center and there are laundromats around the hotel that launder clothing for a very low price. There are lots of restaurants and stores surrounding the hotel and it feels very safe because there is a lot of foot and vehicle traffic on Avenida Larco. The free breakfast was good and the coffee was strong in the Hispanic style. The rooms are a nice size and they have all the expected amenities for a mid-range hotel. If proximity to the tourist and historical sites is important, then this is not the best hotel as it is in Miraflores, where there few museums or historical sites. Traffic in Lima is terrible, so be mindful that a taxi trip from the centro historico to this hotel could take up to one hour during the afternoon to evening hours. The hotel staff was great and very professional.
This hotel is two blocks from the Airport Peru Hop stop (Miraflores district). Very quiet and safe location. We arrived about 2.5 hours before check-in time and were shown our room immediately (so thankful!). Asked for a seafood recommendation and they suggested Alfresco's (we ate 3 meals there in 2 days!). The room is spacious and very clean. TV had a few English stations. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we enjoyed while traveling 5 weeks in South America. They were willing to cook eggs the way you like it instead of the standard scrambled eggs. Booked a city-walking tour through the hotel ($35 3.5 hours). Our guide, Davey Jones, spoke perfect English, had a great sense of humor and was attentive to the group. It's not often a guide can engage the attendees as a group but Davey popped questions that you didn't want to miss participating. A late checkout helped us prepare for a 1:00 am a flight back to the States. It did cost extra but well worth. Thank you for making Lima one of our favorite cities.
Very nice hotel on Larco Boulevard in Miraflores very close to Larcomar shopping centre. Great location, nice restaurants and coffee places nearby. Very safe area. Very good breakfast and extremely helpful staff. Rooms are big and everything is spotless. I'll definitely stay here again when in Lima.
We stayed here for 1 night before leaving Lima. It was approx. 40 minutes from the airport by taxi $20 usd or s./60. We arrived at the hotel around 1:30 am, the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, spacious and modern looking. Breakfast was good with lots of selection. 2 blocks from the larcomar shopping centre and restaurants. Beautiful views of the ocean & surfers from there. We felt safe in this area of miraflores. The staff was helpful and provided us With a map of the area when we did a walking tour on our own. Google miraflores walking tour. It's approx. 6km walk showcasing the popular parks in the area. (Lovers park, Kennedy park etc) Monolos is up the street and has very good churros! Turn right outside the hotel and it's on the other side of the street a few blocks down. 5-10 minute walk. Tantas is a very good restaurant at the larcomar!
Hotel with reasonable structure and good breakfast. However, the same requires care. It occurred that I had a serious problem: the disappearance of a certain amount of dollars inside my backpack, which for a moment was left alone in the room. Upon discovering the fact, I immediately sought the reception trying to speak to the hotel manager. Then the unbelievable happened: I was told that the manager was not at the hotel !! A large hotel with no manager !!! Can you believe this ???? It was a Saturday, early evening. I asked for immediate access to the official complaint book. I was told that the book could not be located !!! So I was then told that the manager would come to the hotel the next day in the morning. Worse: the next day I went to reception, and AGAIN the manager was not. I then asked for another access to the complaints book. I finally got the book, filing the complaint officially. Unfortunately I did not have time to go to the police (I was leaving). Conclusion: a lot of attention before choosing this hotel, considering the security risks and the lack of manager. Consegui finalmente o livro, registrando a queixa oficialmente. Infelizmente não tive tempo de ir até a polícia (estava indo embora). Conclusão: muita atenção antes de escolher este hotel, tendo em vista os riscos de segurança e a inexistência de gerente.
Staying at the Urban Larco for a few nights while we visit Lima. The hotel is very nice and new. The room is a good size, and the beds are comfortable. Toiletries are provided but limited. It's in a good location. Just steps away from LarcoMar and the park. There are lots of restaurants nearby also. The hotel has a breakfast buffet. It is small but enough selection for everyone to be happy. Eggs to order are available. The buffet room doubles as a bar and restaurant in the evening. The menu is small, but reasonably priced. Enjoying our stay.
Stayed here for 4 nights, the rooms are new and clean and staff is so helpful, we could not have asked for more. It is walking distance from Lacomar the shopping and restaurant district on the cliffs and all the parks that line the ocean. Would definitely stay again!
Stayed here 6 nights for a visit to see our daughter. A basic hotel but brand new and super clean. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room very adequate. Breakfast was good and all we needed to get going each day. The remote control for the TV can be tricky, but just call the front desk and they will help you out. This hotel is in a great location and we got a good rate so I heartily recommend it.
Daughter and I recently stayed at this hotel- Our experience was wonderful! The hotel's location was super great plus this hotel has been upgraded! Super clean and the stuff was very helpful especially Wendy!. I also noticed the provide everything you might need like a razor or a toothbrush etc! I highly recommend it! Thanks again to the Beat Western Plus Urban Larco Hotel ??
First off the Hotel is new so all areas are nice and new looking. Rooms are nice nothing crazy fancy about them but for the price they are clean and big enough and functional. This is not a 5 star hotel so don't expect that when you come. But if you are looking for a cheaper hotel option in one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Lima this place is the place for you! The hotel in no way felt cheap. It has a slight trendy urban feel and is nice like I stated earlier. Minutes from Locamar a trendy mall built into a cliff and lots of other great restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly. The “free breakfast” was ok not great the food needs a upgrade for sure. Also the welcome drink they offer you is hit or miss one time I stayed and was offered one the next no. Also found it strange they only offer room service until 10pm it's probably not surprising though because the food in general here isn't that great. So they probably figure you will be eating else where. Overal all I give this a 4 out of 5 because it's new and the staff is great. Only sad part and disappointment was the little restaurant, food and room service. But there are plenty of great option very very close so no big deal. Won't stop me from returning. I've already planned another stay in January when I come back to Lima for business!
The Urban Larco is less than 5 minutes walk to the famous Larcomar shopping mall in Miraflores. The hotel opened just a few months ago and is located practically right next to the upscale JW Marriott. Everything is still new, clean, and pleasing to the eyes. The staff were friendly and accommodating, they checked me in quickly as I arrived after midnight, tired and weary after a long flight. The room was comfortable, reasonably spacious and had a nice partial view of the Pacific Ocean (#904). Breakfast is good, not a big spread but enough to get you going until lunch. The eggs are cooked to order, as many as you want if cheese, bread, and local ham are not enough for you. I travel to Lima at least once a year and the Urban Larco Hotel is definitely a home away from home now.
I visited Lima from 12/14/17-12/21/17. This is the first time I've traveled overseas seas and not stay at a five-star hotel, so I didn't have high expectations. However, this hotel impressed me! First, it was clean and practically brand new. All the fixtures, glass, mirrors and floors were kept up with. The cleaning staff do a great job with the hotel upkeep! Second, the staff was always friendly and eager to help! I felt bad for always speaking English to them, but they let me know it was never a problem. The doormen, reception, concierge, cleaning staff and restaurant staff always greeted me with a smile and made me feel like I was a priority. Third and most important, my room was ultra quiet! If there was anyone else on my floor, I never heard them or saw them. I was on the 7th floor (em 702) and never heard a sound. Fourth, the location is great. Located next to a nice shopping area and great view of the water. Short distance to both. The few things I wish were different would be the temperature control (couldn't really have it as cold as I wanted as needed to by a fan for circulation), softer bed, would prefer carpet than tile floor, would like a room service menu in the room, and an instruction manual on how to use the remote on the tv (the cleaning staff showed me but was too complicated to remember the steps. Not even some of my guests could figure how to use it). I felt very safe here as well. When I had visitors, the hotel would make sure to keep A copy of their ID, for safety purposes. I would stay here again!!'
The hotel is less than 4 months old so the condition of the hotel was great! The breakfast which came with our stay was very nice with both hot and cold selections. the staff was super friendly and very helpful. Overall a great stay!
Hote lis in a quiet and safe location a little bit offline the main coastal road. Room is nice and clean, short distance to the beach and the shopping mall, which is build into rocks with resataurants with sea view, in the evening there is private security along the coastal park, Felt safe also in the evening, beach is grey gravel instead of sand, makes a rumbling noise, coast is foggy very often.
The hotel have simple and clean design, very functional but don't expect anything fancy; this was more about business in a good location. The people working there are really friendly and they will try to do their best to help. The breakfast is basic but have all the basics: fresh fruits, good bread, eggs, ham, cheese and more. Part of the basic of the hotels is that you can't change much of the temperature of the AC, the shower doesn't let you regulate the amount of water you want, and the menu of the ‘restaurant' doesn't have many options. The service is a little slow.
Great experience with this hotel. Very new with modern amenities and great service. Breakfast (included) was excellent, location was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. Price for location, amenities and room in general was superb. Highly recommended.
I arrived late at night after a long flight. As a Best Western rewards diamond member, I was looking forwarded to getting an upgraded room and the other elite benefits the program offers. Unfortunately this hotel did not deliver at all. I had to remind the check-in staff of my status, and though the staff member was very kind and courteous, she did not offer any of the Diamond benefits (e.g. points option at check-in, room upgrade). It's a really easy thing to get right, but unfortunately the Best Western program is very inconsistent in this regard. Other than that, the hotel was perfectly fine for a one night stay.
I reserved the Best Western in Lima after I read good reviews in Hotels.com The hotel is basic but very well located and clean. My disappointment comes from the service level. First day I needed an iron, only to be told that all irons were taken and that they have no solution for me. This was after two calls made to the reception desk. The laundry I sent was returned partially on one day and the rest on the second day. When it finally arrived it came with socks which did not belong to me and with my medically required circulation socks missing. I once again reached the reception for help. They never called back with an explanation and when it was time to check out they said they were sorry but had lost my 32€ socks. My job requires very frequent traveling, and therefore I spend many nights at hotels. I completely understand that these things can happen but not the low level, and carelessness of the employees at the reception desk.
My wife and I recently stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel has an excellent location, a very short walk to the Larcomar shopping center and within easy access to the main sights of Miraflores (15-20 minute walk or 5-10 minute taxi ride). The hotel itself is essentially brand new with spacious, clean, modern rooms. The staff at the hotel are awesome and were so attentive to all of our needs - they could not have made our stay any more comfortable. It was a pleasure to stay here and I would highly recommend the hotel for anyone looking for a base in Miraflores. Thanks for everything Best Western Urban Larco, your staff are a credit to your hotel!
first time staying in a best western---pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff. Hotel is brand new. The only thing that could be improved would be more selection of sodas and drinks in the bar. Simply fantastic experience
