Best Western Plus Hotel Lake Dallas Inn & Suites, Lake Dallas

I had a four night stay and it really felt like a home away from home! The front desk staff was outstanding. Dawn in particular really cared about everything going well and is very attentive and conscientious with a friendly, professional manner. Samantha was great at managing the late night shift. Maria provided a clean breakfast room and an array of food including freshly made eggs and sausages as well as fresh fruit and good tasting coffee. The rooms were clean and ample in size. I would definitely make this a regular place to stay.

I dont normally write reviews but the staff at the front desk is what makes this place special. Amazing customer service, super friendly and honestly they go above and beyond. Sam at night helped me out a ton and Dawn in the morning is super sweet and helpful too! Trina welcomed me with a huge smile when I first arrived and continued that every time I got back from working all day. I loved my stay here and would book again next time I'm in town.

Our visit could not have been better, nor more welcomed. Due to a local power outage we were challenged to find a room for - who knows how many nights? Thanks to manager, Dawn Riccio, we were not only greeted and accommodated warmly, she was concerned enough to personally assure our room was clean and ready - significantly before normal check-in time. Dawn is an absolute joy - professional, courteous, friendly and wonderfully experienced - she KNOWS how to manage a hotel - especially in a time of crisis with so many in need or accommodations to escape 105-degree heat and no power to their homes. When many would have been overwhelmed with dozens of phone calls, checking in guests, managing housekeeping and who knows what else, this incredible lady kept her warm smile, can-do attitude and warm, personable and positive attitude. Hats off to Best Western and local ownership. You have a gem of a manager and no doubt, a property that beckons growth and repeat guests due to a welcoming feeling, clean, comfortable accommodations and a wonderfully welcome and reassuring manager. If you want a place that is welcoming and that cares this is the place. There's not one bad thing to say. All the staff cares. The manager Dawn took my reservation. She also checked on me. You can tell she is very passionate about her guest and the hotel. She has put together a team that really understand customer service. All the attention to details shows she really wants the guest to be happy. I left my phone charger at home and Trina at the front desk let me use her personal one. The hotel is clean. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Then when I went for breakfast I was greeted and taken care of by Maria. The breakfast was fresh, hot, good selections, and tasty. I differently would stay here again. This day and time it was so nice to stay at a place where I felt like I was important and that I mattered.

Trina and Dawn and all the staff took good care of us and made us feel at home. The breakfast had a good variety of tasty items to enjoy. The accommodations were comfortable. Did I mention how at home they made us feel?

Great rooms, Great breakfast, Great people! This place was easy to get to and on a main road to go anywhere I need to go. The rooms were clean and well designed with everything that I needed. Breakfast offered many choices with scrambled eggs made with real eggs! Unheard of!

The hotel room was very clean. The staff was awesome. If I have to complain about anything it would be there's no ice machine on the floor, had to go on a mission for ice. And no bacon at breakfast. Overall it was a great experience. Would definitely stay there again. I almost got to see Li'al Collins of the Dallas Cowboys. That would have put my trip over the top.

We stayed here on our way to Colorado. We had 2 families with several small children. Mindy treated us very well. She went out of her way to accommodate us. She was super helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Living in Denton for several years it's fun to return and see family and friends. Having stayed at a large number of properties in the Denton area Best Western Plus is a standout for value, amenities and most of all service. My first stay six weeks ago the day after a night in a premium Hilton property in the Galleria area. It was to be kind a beautiful room in a hotel that would make Conrad Hilton's head explode. Stopped up bathroom sink to a horrible bed were only the beginning of unpleasantness. So the next night in Lake Dallas for a couple of days and wow it was like hotel heaven. At half the price which is kind of a big deal. I'd stayed at the Comfort Inn next door and they darn near wouldn't allow my service dog, charged me an extra $30 for her. I'm about half deaf but the HVAC unit was so loud I could barely sleep. The staff was not quite rude but close. So let's return to vacation nirvana, checked in late but Mindy on the front desk was wonderful even solved a to technical issue with using a streaming player with the TV. The remote won't let you change inputs but the button I didn't find on the bottom of the TV would. Thanks Mindy! Now the room was beautiful and the handicapped access was perfect, the a/c quiet and the breakfast buffet overseen by Maria was amazing. Most of the time a free breakfast means a Danish and a cup of coffee. At Best Western Plus it means scrambled eggs, biscuits, sausage, a Texas shaped waffle, several kinds of fresh juice, fresh fruit and a nice choice of pastries. The next couple of days Maria was there every day asking if I was enjoying my breakfast and brightening the day. On my last day the GM Dawn helped me with a very random problem and solved it in seconds. Can't say enough good things about this property this is the second time I've stayed here and it was even more delightful on the second visit. It's an amazing value and the kind of hotel stay that everyone dreams about. I don't usually go into this much detail or spend this much time on a hotel. There's usually just not that much to say maybe the hot water went out maybe they didn't have any towels maybe the pillows felt like rocks. But usually it's a nice visit, this Best Western Plus is a great visit filled with people that actually enjoy what they're doing and it shows.

The personnel were very helpful and polite. We were greeted almost ever time when we came in. We were fortunate to get a suite for the price of a king room. We had issues with our RV and ended up trading it in. While waiting for another RV we had to empty everything. We asked for a second refrigerator and one was brought up. We had a lot of food we didn't want to go bad. We have been here for a week and everyone of the employees have been nice. There is a swimming pool, hot tub, small bbq, fitness room, one washer and dryer and of course internet. I definitely recommend Best Western Plus, Lake Dallas (off Swisher Road).

Clean, comfortable and considerate. Located within walking distance of Chipotle, Popeyes and Burger King. Pool and hot tub with pergola and grill were enjoyable percs. Mindy and Dawn made my stay perfect.

The check in was great! The front desk clerk was very helpful with securing a play pen for our 4 month old. She was very apologetic about the crib being used vut I assured her that our baby has slept in a play pen for another trip before and is fine with it. The room was very clean and comfortable with the a/c and fan. Breakfast was great in the morning and the coffee was wonderful. Staff and other guests were friendly in passing and will definitely stay at a best western plus again!!

The Manager and all of her staff were very friendly and helpful during our 4 day stay. The breakfast bar was fully stocked with cereals, scrambled eggs, link and patty sausage, biscuits, juices, lots of coffee. The housekeeping was excellent and overall cleanliness was very good. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay, you won't be disappointed!

The Best Western Lake Dallas is the best place to stay . I will not stay at any other hotel . The staff is amazing nice and very considerate. The rooms are great .Very nice comfortable beds . Great cold ac through out the whole hotel .I highly recommend The Best Western in Lake Dallas to everyone.

Hi from the call to check room availability , check-in process and check out to everything in between this place know how to take care of you . I think all because of 1 women and her team Dawn help me from Katy, Tx all the way there even called me on the road . She juggled my reservations answering 5 phone calls and never missed a beat for our 2 rooms July 11th yes its me Mr. M Limon . I didn't wake up in time for breakfast but my family did and our other room did but it was good from what i heard. when we checked out to hit the road home a few days later Dawn once again going that extra mile for her guest gave my son , nephew and us a snack bag for the road . Who does that ? Hallways were quite i slept great no freeway noise like other places i've stayed . I was refreshed for my drive back to H-Town Thank for all your help Dawn will be back

We had a disaster of an overnight stay at different hotel property nearby. I booked this property that was closer to a venue we were visiting. The staff and manager were friendly and professional. The daily breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The property was always clean and the pool/hot tub inviting.

The service was excellent a warm welcome when we arrived to the Lobby on July,17 reservations were made as we were driving from El Paso; accommodations were made almost immediately. Clean room and we had our baby granddaughter and a crib was provided immediately. Maria from the kitchen was very polite and attentive she would stop at our table in the morning when breakfast was provided and ask if we needed anything else, that was great thank you Maria. Also Dawn very courteous and helpful; i'm not to familiar with the area so I asked for directions to a Walgreen's and she pointed me to the closes one truly appreciate it in general the whole staff were outstanding. Thank you for everything and believe me if we are in the area that is the place to stay your friends from El Paso Tx.

Dawn the general manager, Mendi front desk manager, Jami and everybody else working the desk along with Maria in the morning breakfast kitchen are all amazing with the hospitality, friendship and service. This hotel deserves 10 stars. Great location and very spacious and clean facility.

My room was super clean, the staff were awesome, Char the desk clerk was very welcoming. Seemed like shes been working there forever. Shes great at hospitality!!!! Nice and clean and surprisingly quiet. Nice breakfast selection and room was clean and tidy. Staff was great. Plenty of parking, easy check in and check out. Small fridge in room to keep any extra items cool, close to shopping; grocery stores and many fast food restaurants.

We had been traveling for the past 10 days and staying at different hotels and this hotel was the best at of all of them and surprisingly the cheapest! We had not planned on stopping in Lake Dallas but needed to because of some travel delays. Even during COVID this hotel did a great job at making us feel valued.

Each part of our stay was as perfect as could be had. Our stay was for 5 nights. The breakfast was better than any other motel breakfast we have had. The major factor was the breakfast supervisor, Maria. She greeted us (and all other guests) east morning with a sincere and genuine positive attitude which actually made the rest of the day positive. Her energy was evident in the complete cleanliness of the breakfast area. No offerings were allowed to go empty or turn cold. She made sure all utensils and condiments were set neatly and always full and available. Coffee was NEVER allowed to be empty and was always fresh. She was constantly inquiring if she could be of service. She made certain every area was perfect in its organization and nothing was allowed to be out of place. We would return to this motel just for the breakfast experience!!! The motel Manager, Dawn, also exemplified the overall positive environment of this motel. She was proactive in her greetings of the guests and one felt that she was a genuine customer orientated manager in all respects. She made certain the motel was clean and that all the equipment was in good order. She implied by her attention to all aspects of the motel that she had great pride in the motel and its total presentation. Again, we would and will be staying at this motel again because of the wonderful staff.

We stayed in this hotel for a week and had a good experience apart from two disappointing maintenance issues. The drain stopper in the sink would no longer open and had to be pried out to drain the sink. Also, the ceiling fan was out of balance (as ceiling fans often are) and had developed a loud squeak as it swung back and forth. We could see that the fan was pulling farther and farther away from the ceiling and were afraid it would fall onto the bed. The hotel was unable to address these problems promptly and offered to move us to another room (a major repacking and unpacking job as we had moved in for a week) or refund the unused days and let us move to a different hotel. Instead I crawled under the sink and fixed the plumbing problem myself and stopped using the ceiling fan. Dawn was very apologetic and gave us a small discount for the inconvenience, but it was disappointing that the hotel did not have a maintenance person available to address some simple problems.

The greeting from the receptionist Dawn was warm and friendly which made you feel very welcome . The breakfast food was always hot and fresh. I arrived in Flower Mound, TX at 10:45AM on Sunday 5/16/21 with 8 home inspections to complete over 2-days, but when I arrived it was pouring down rain. I searched hotels.com for a nearby hotel and found this Best Western Plus at a really reasonable rate. However, it was early in the day and I was exhausted from a 6-hour drive into town, so I called the hotel to see if they could check me into a room immediately (normal check-in started at 3:00PM.) Dawn answered the phone and was friendly and efficient in verifying that a room was clean and ready, and told me she could accommodate me. I arrived to a sparkling clean property, was immediately greeted by one of the housekeepers who was cleaning the lobby, and by Dawn who was at the front desk. Dawn had a (quiet) corner room ready for me and even provided me with two cold bottled waters and snack crackers before I went to the room. She was very knowledgeable about the local restaurants, and recommended the little sports bar next to the hotel. The burger was great, as Dawn had told me it would be, I ate, got back to my room and got some much needed sleep while waiting for the weather to clear so that I could go to work. The room was clean, smelled fresh, the bed was comfortable, there were three sets of towels/washcloths in the bathroom, and the WiFi was fast and consistent. What more can a business traveler ask for. A hot breakfast with numerous food options was available the next morning, and there was plenty of regular and decaf coffee at breakfast, and in the room. In a mid-pandemic economic environment that has seen, in my opinion, a drastic drop in customer service standards, this experience was unexpected, yet extremely welcome and refreshing. Thank you, Dawn, and thank you Best Western Plus, for making what could have been a troublesome day into a pleasant respite from North Texas weather. I highly recommend this property to anyone considering it for a stay.

Staff at Lake Dallas went way above expectations to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was good, pool was clean as well as room. As I am handicapped, every member of staff went beyond their scope to make our stay as easy as possible.

Staff went above and beyond to provide for all our needs. Our trip was due to a family emergency and it became necessary to add some young children to our stay. Staff were extremely understanding and accommodating. Highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly, they went out of their way to make us comfortable. When we arrived they gave us a brown paper bag with water and a snack in it which was great because sometimes you want a snack before settling down for the night and everything was closed. The breakfast crew was nice and friendly, and the manager was very engaging. The room was comfortable.

We needed a warm place during the snow storm. All staff was INCREDIBLE! They kept all the guests calm and feel safe even in a very unknown situation. They worked around the clock for a week. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a hotel. The rooms were nice, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The gym, laundry room, full breakfast and store were definitely a huge perk. Everyone had a smile on their face and very accommodating. I was very happy, to the point that I can't find a negative in my experience.

We recently experienced a bad winter storm that forced us out of our home together with thousands of Texans. We were lucky to find a hotel room at the WBP. We were so impressed of how the manager Dawn, front desk and all personnel handle all the stressed guests that keep arriving. All employees were fast to accommodate our needs, and exceded our expectations with empathy. Rooms are big and very clean, the breakfast area added a nice touch to our stay and Maria the attended was always sweet and accommodating to all guest.

Mindy and Dawn are wonderful. They saved my life during the recent winter storm. They went above and beyond to accommodate me at the hotel. There was a power outage for almost 3 days. I had already spent 1 night freezing at my boyfriend's house and felt I wasn't going to be able to handle another night. The hotel employees are always wonderful which is why I keep coming back. I have been staying here for the past year and a half, ever since I started visiting Lake Dallas TX. I highly recommend this hotel.

Situations created a need for me to book a different hotel the very day I was to arrive from out of state. I was able to book a room (Jan. 27-31, 2021) immediately near where I had reservations and saved $200! The hotel was clean (including the breakfast area, hallways and my room); the decor was visually pleasing and up-to-date; breakfast was full of amazing choices more than other places I've stayed; the staff were friendly yet professional; the manager was kind, helpful and I could tell that Dawn loves people and loves her job. ALL OF THIS MADE FOR A GREAT STAY! I will come there when in the area again!

The Best Western Plus Lake Dallas Inn & Suites is conveniently located near I35E. During my stay, the suite was very quiet and comfortable. At check-in Mendy was very helpful, friendly, and professional. Dawn, the hotel manager, made a point of introducing herself to me at breakfast and checking with me to make sure everything with my stay was good. The hotel had a variety of breakfast options. My favorite was the jumbo waffles shaped like the state of Texas. Very tasty and filling.

The staff here is the friendliest and most accommodating in the area! Before my stay, I had a certain preconceived notion about Best Western properties. This place completely changed my mind! It is easily on par with or surpasses its Marriott and Hilton counterparts. They took care of both my business and family needs as I had my family including 2 small girls who loved it there. It is safe and clean. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Mendy checked us in on Thanksgiving day and was the most polite, caring young lady I have encountered in a very long time. Even offered us a plate of her food (thanksgiving meal) the room was incredibly clean and the bed was comfortable

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. This is our second stay this year to honor a lost family member. The hotel staff was very understanding and accomodating. They gave us a room in a quiet part of the hotel so we could sleep after driving all night to get there and allowed us to check out lateon our check out day. They made sure we had averything we needed to be as comfortable as possible. The hotel is convenientl located just off I 35, close to several eating establishments, and also close to the areas we needed to travel to and from for services. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. Next time, hoepfully under more pleasant circumstances.

I stayed at this property for the week of 2nd through 9th October. It was clean and comfortable. Every single employee including housekeepers that I interacted with, provided commendable service, be it Joshua, Carmen, or others. But in particular, Dawn the manager was simply amazing. My wife and I come through Dallas frequently on business. We have stayed at many hotels over the years but its hard to beat the value here. Add to that the service we get from manager Dawn and the staff is fantastic. The hotel also has a pool and a gym which are currently open. The usually fantastic complimentary breakfast is shut down due to covid but coffee is available and they give out a brown bag of breakfast snacks which is nice.

First of all I stay in hotels due to my job nearly year-round Best Western Plus Lake Dallas, Tx inn and Suites is by far one of the best ones I have stayed at. This is my first stay here and I was treated upon arrival like I was a long time returning guest. Starting first with the staff. DAWN is an asset to this Hotel. She has gone above and beyond to make sure my stay is comfortable and that I have what I need during my extended stay here . She always has a genuine smile on her face and I think that is very important when a guest arrives to check in. Upper management PLEASE make note that people like this are hard to come by and like I mentioned above, Dawn is an asset to this Hotel. housekeeping staff is friendly and accommodating as well and they do their keeping things very clean The inside and outside are clean and well kept. Landscaping and grass are well kept, no trash laying around. Rooms are very clean. Beds, pillows and sheets are very comfortable and that is also important. I was in a room at first with carpet and the carpet is very clean there were no stains, but I asked about a room with wood floors due to allergies and when I asked Dawn about getting a room with wood floors she immediately put me in One without a moment of hesitation. The AC works fantastic here which seems to be an issue in a lot of other places. Pool area is clean and very inviting. Upon checking in everything just had a clean fresh smell. During these times with COVID-19 cleanliness is important to me. Thank you Dawn and all staff for making my stay here as comfortable as possible I hope upper management reads this review. PLEASE make sure your staff is well paid for what they do and do a little extra to keep them happy because they are doing things right in your hotel and that's the difference in a good hotel and not so good hotel. I also know that it starts at the top and that obviously you people at the top level of management care as well. So thank you for a great stay here.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Best Western PLUS in Lake Dallas, Texas. The room had exactly the accomodations we needed, and was exceptionally clean and well-kept. The service and hospitality at this facility was absolutely outstanding for the entire week that we stayed here. The hotel is conveniently located with restaraunts and shopping nearby. When I arrived, my room had to be changed, but they knew my preferences and it was done efficiently. All staff members were friendly and responded to requests right away. Dawn, the manager went above and beyond expectations.When an item was not available for the grab and go breakfast, she sent someone to the store to get it for me. SERVICE!! When looking for a place to stay, cleanliness is as important as comfort. I check reviews of others so I know what to expect before I book my reservation. The cleaning policies of the Best Western Plus Hotels are right in line with what one would expect in this time of the Covid-19 pandemic. Eric, who checked me in on arrival, assured me that the room had been cleaned with special products aimed at eradicating the virus. Eric told me the room I was given had not been occupied for 3 days prior to my arrival. The bed and pillows were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Although breakfast is now grab and go instead of a hot buffet, it was still satisfying. Dawn, the person at the check out desk, inquired about my comfort during my stay and was most pleasant and informative. I would stay at this property again as it met my expectations of cleanliness and comfort.

Emerging out of Covid quarantine we attended our grandson's HS Graduation and stayed at this hotel. What a wonderful experience! I was here on a business trip, and my company booked my room. I was very pleased with the general location, even more so, pleased with the friendly, efficient staff. Derrick on the front desk was very accommodating, and was quick to help me when I accidentally locked my room key in my room. The housekeeping staff is PHENOMENAL. My room was cleaned, and my towels were stocked daily. The location is extremely convenient (located off of the highway with several restaurants and even a Walmart nearby). If I'm ever in the Lake Dallas area, I will be sure to stay at this establishment again.

Check in was easy and they gave you two bottles of water and two PB cracker snack. Their breakfast is also decent. Fruit, waffle maker, cereal options, eggs, sausage. Lots of options. Hence the two stars. These black specks on my bed... I have no clue what they are. They showed up every morning and I was glad to only be there two nights. Black specs that were hard... they don't look like bugs, but still not anything a guest should deal with. Another thing about the bed- it's a spring bed. I could feel every spring on my bed and it was extremely lumpy and hard. Completely uncomfortable. I didn't look forward to going to bed. Also- their pillows are not a normal sleeping pillow. You can see they're small throw pillows. Not a comfortable or supportive sleep at all.

Great service and excellent location. Price per night was great. The appearance and service has always been outstanding. The staff provides helpful and timely service in a excellent manner. Highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay! Our family checked in very late after a long day of traveling and the night auditor Aaron was very nice and welcoming and gave us a great military discount. The room was very clean and updated and the beds were comfortable. The hot breakfast was really nice and the breakfast area was very clean. I only have 200 spaces to tell a fabulous story. I called to book 8 rooms for my group. The 1st number was not directly to the hotel. They messed up my reservations horribly but the mgrs not only made it right the went way above and beyond. I also want to say that whomever does the hiring has done an incredible job. Everyone, day staff, and night staff, were consistently great at customer service. Amazing how the staff turned all of this around. Thank you! I will be back with my group.

My husband and I stayed three days and we are so happy we picked this hotel. The breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, the hot tub was awesome and the employees were amazingly friendly and willing to go the extra mile! Derrick (I think his name was) was so quick to turn on the hot tub and accommodate us in anyway. The young man making breakfast this morning was so helpful and courteous (January 4) everything was excellent. Breakfast had sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, toast, cereal, coffee, etc. Very nice place to stay!

It's a great place to stay. Staff is very helpful and considerate. The place was clean and well maintained. It's a great location that suits our needs. The Best Western rewards program is excellent as well.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel! I had a two week stay for business. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was professional, solicitous and friendly! The breakfasts were better than most ‘made to order' restaurants! The rooms were spacious, well equipped and beautiful! I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone!

While staying at the Best Western in Lake Dallas, we enjoyed the hot breakfast, which included a dairy-free milk option. Every staff member was extremely helpful and courteous, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

From the moment we checked in, I was greeted by Erik, the Hotel Manager. He asked about our drive and if we found the hotel well. He also asked us what brought us to Lake Dallas. I said it was for a funeral unfortunately and his response was very touching. You need to treat staff like that well because they treat your guests well. Thank you! The next day we met Dawn, the other Hotel Manager and Maria who cooks an amazing breakfast. All in all we felt so welcomed and more than just guests! If we had to stay here again we would! Awesome facility, clean, well run, and nearly half the price of the one 15 minutes down the road. They have a great breakfast. The staff is friendly, the bed was good, I had no real trouble with the hotel or my stay.

I have stayed in this property several times, and with every visit, I continue to be impressed. I have stayed there twice in the last month and it was a real treat because all the rooms have been renovated as well as the front lobby. It is quite stylish. I particularly appreciate the excellent management and customer service, as well as all the staff, who are cheery and polite. I stayed in the Hyatt at the DFW airport for a conference thinking it was "high-end" and frankly this particular Best Western has better rooms and more comfortable beds. I frequently use the Best Western chain, and this location is my #1 choice. "Hats off" to good ownership and great management. Keep it up folks...

This Best Western Plus was very clean. The employees were kind and went out of their way to help whenever we needed something. The breakfast was fresh and yummy. A nice variety of food options. The bed were extremely comfortable. Loved the decor and setup.

The front desk clerks were very friendly. However, the elevator was out and never repaired during our stay. We were constantly told that it would be repaired. By the time we left it never happened. Very disappointed.

I have stayed here twice in the last two months. The staff is consistently the best I have encountered. The hotel is close to UNT and the airport. Call to check prices before booking online. There is a dog that bark behind the hotel, so I prefer the front. The road noise in not a problem with the AC fan on. There is an Albertson's and a Walmart near by.

I stayed in a room with two queens on the third floor. Below is a list of the pros and cons of my stay. Pros: > Great breakfast: Texas-shaped waffles, sausage links, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, muffins/toast/danishes, oatmeal, and juice/water. > Friendly & Helpful staff members: One staff member took my empty plate when I was about to get up to throw it away. Another offered me a cold bottle of water after noticing I had filled a glass of the room temperature lemon water in the lobby. Also, they did not rush to pack up the breakfast food and area once 9:30am hit and guests were still in the room eating, which was nice compared to other hotels. > The room, lobby, breakfast area were all very clean. > The hot tub and pool area was very nice, though we did not use it. > It was quiet both nights (except for the air conditioner), even though we were right by the elevator and had guests on the other side at least one of the nights. > Well-lit parking lot. Cons: > The beds are FIRM. Frankly, the worst two nights sleep my friend and I have ever had in a hotel. > Only one type of pillow is provided and stuffed with small clumpy foam pieces. Most hotels offer at least two pillow options. > The fitness room had one small floor mat that was laying on the floor and obviously walked on, and I wouldn't trust it to be very clean. Also, the equipment had a limited range of motion. Notes: > The dispensers in the shower for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were a neat feature; although, our conditioner dispenser was empty. > The wifi was strange. I was informed upon arrival that the wifi password was on the room key holder, but my phone connected to the wifi without a password. When I tried to then go to a news website, my phone blocked the connection and warned it could be hacked due to the unsecured wifi access. As such, I did not use the wifi, which was inconvenient. > The elevator is pretty slow and the stairwells were not air-conditioned. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here again just because having a good night's sleep is very important, and we woke tired and sore after both nights.

We are so sorry about the beds. We normally get great reviews on our beds & pillows...in fact, a lot of people have asked to purchase our pillows! So sorry about the empty conditioner this should not have happened & will be addressed to the housekeepers. We do hope you give us another chance but, I do agree you must like the beds & get a good nights sleep so I totally understand. Dawn.

Extremely nice staff and a great breakfast. Staff was very accomodating and knowledgeable of the surround area. Clean rooms and a very enjoyable stay. Great beds and a quiet room. I would recommend this hotel anytime you are in the area.

I arrived August 20th thru August 24th. Right from check in thru check out everything was great. Kieth at check in gave me the best suite available. Rooms are very clean. Staff very pleasant. Obi is amazing! He took his time at 3 am to help me fix a booking I screwed up so I could still stay the night. Incredibly helpful and friendly! Great positive attitude! The hotel is nicely remodeled. Very clean and comfortable. I recommend a stay to anyone.

Stayed for 2 nights with family and loved this hotel. Beautiful decor and exceptionally clean. Beds were super comfy. WiFi was excellent. Breakfast was very good and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Kudos to Caleb and Dawn, the manager. These folks truly go out of there way to be helpful and always with a smile. This location I liked because was right off the interstate. If you should need anything the location is ideal. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The morning breakfast had a good variety.

Easy check-in. Décor is bright and appears new; king bed is great and comfortable; room very clean; bathroom is very clean; good breakfast; breakfast area very clean and well taken care of by attendant; plenty of tables to sit at; overall experience was great. Nice location; felt very safe.

Dawn and Keith go above and beyond every time we stay there. They are both super friendly and provide excellent customer service. We look forward to our stay there. Rooms are spotless and entire staff honestly seem to enjoy their job.

Great stay has some things in the room. I have never seen. Ceiling fan were great as mine at home goes all the time. Also great breakfast. Great crew at the desk was very nice and accomadating to a large group of people

This is a very nice place to stay for the conference! So close to GOZ and recently renovated. Full breakfast complete with all the food groups. The meat was bacon and sausage links and they tasted like real meat which is often not the case at some complimentary hotel breakfasts. The showers have shampoo conditioner and body wash on the wall. The sink has citrus wash and lotion on the wall. Nicely decorated simplicity. Very pleasant pool area also.

The moment we arrived, we were checked by experienced personal who guided us through everything we needed to know. The entire staff all did a fabulous job serving our entire group of 12! The newly decorated facility was sparlking clean with a fresh remodel.

The front desk personal we're very friendly, and helpful.speedy and efficient service.the breakfast meal was great, would definitely stay here again. I drive a semi truck and the help me locate the proper spot to park

Very pleasant stay; we were there for 3 nights. The check in was quick and pleasant. We were tired and exhausted from the flight and happy to find that the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and fitted out with the basic needs of life (TV, microwave, refrigerator, lots of towels, and lights where we needed them). Our interactions with the staff were great. The breakfast we appropriate for our needs - ready early in the AM, - quick in and out, that let us get on with our family get together. It's likely we will stay there when family events draw us to the area.

Quiet, comfortable, and clean hotel. Great customer service, comfortable rooms, and good breakfast. My only minor complaint is that a few pieces of ice from the ice machine had flecks of dirt. Otherwise, a great property that I highly recommend!

Our week in this hotel was great from beginning to end. They put the hot tub on for us, made bookings, printed documents, gave advice on things to do. Dawn was an amazing help every single day, she made our holiday special!

The staff from check in to check out were the best. They were so helpful and nice. Definitely recommend staying here. The breakfast was delicious. At check in he offered us bottled water and granola bars which was great cause my daughter was hungry.

Stayed for one night. Room was clean and smelled clean. Facilities were spotless. The night gentleman on duty was very polite, professional and friendly. Breakfast was better in selection than expected. Only downside is the traffic getting into the hotel. Good deal on value.

I had a wonderful time at the Best Western in Lake Dallas! Dawn was the most caring and hard-working I've ever met. She helped us with anything we needed and made sure that we were comfortable. When somebody complained about my son's being a little too loud she came up very respectfully and politely and asked us to keep a little more quiet. I could not have had a better experience thanks to Dawn. I will definitely be coming back and hope to see her again. She really set the bar High.

This by far is the best hotel I have ever stayed in! I booked this hotel for my wedding guest so I had over 15 rooms! I worked with Dawn and she did an amazing job accommodating all my guest and making sure my last minute guest were taken care of! She made this day so easy for me stress free and also keith who allowed us a late check out while we did makeup and hair!!! This is the place you want to stay!! Comfortable clean and friendly staff! My ten year anniversary I plan to do it all again and I will for sure book this hotel again!!! You guys are awesome!!

I've stayed here before. I booked online and I lost a family member two nights before. So I needed to cancel the reservation. The online service was terrible they wouldn't give me a refund. After I told them what happened. And they told me to call the hotel directly. So I spoke with Dawn. And she tried everything she could possibly do to get my money back. And she succeeded. Thank you so much. I will recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank God people still care.

yes, it's Texas, but the day I arrived (Monday October 15th) the temp was 40ish with blustery winds and rain.(Just like home...Chicago area!) Keith cheerfully checked me in for my 5 night stay. I got to my room and immediately turned on the heat and by golly, it worked! And quietly! The mini-frig, tv, microwave, and coffee maker functioned as they should. The king bed was comfortable, not too firm or too soft. Great water pressure for showering. My room was newly carpeted as was the hall. The hotel is being spruced up, including painting, but there was very little odor. The complimentary breakfast offers a nice variety of juices, cereals, yogart,mini-muffins, fruit, made from scratch scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and make your own waffles. The coffee was really good. The ladies overseeing the breakfast room were pleasant and welcoming. Lastly, words of praise for Dawn at the front desk: She was consistently pleasant and helpful in a professional way while wearing a genuine Texas smile. I recommend this Best Western Plus and would stay here again.

If you are ever in the Lake Dallas area this is the place to stay. The rooms are very clean and the staff is top notch. The breakfast is great with a lot of different selections to choose from. A big Thank You to the staff for making our stay enjoyable.

The absolute BEST complimentary breakfast I've EVER had from any hotel! Maria's Hot Breakfast is homemade from scratch with FRESH scrambled eggs and the biscuits and gravy tastes like Mom made it! Plus the hotel is very nice and wonderful service with a smile! 5 stars

This Best Western exceeded our expectations. The room was well-appointed and very spacious. The breakfast buffet was great as it always included eggs and a breakfast meat in addition to the usual fare of breads, yogurt, fruit, cereals, etc. Also two flavors of waffles! The customer service was excellent. The clerk noticed that we hadn't received a discount for the conference we were attending so she added it upon checkout on her own initiative. It rained while we were there so we did not actually get to use the pool so I can't comment on the pool or the jacuzzi. The only negative comment I have is that the pillows we're not very comfortable. I realize that everyone has a personal preference and usually we bring our own but we didn't this time. I still gave it a 5-star review because at the end they gave us a late check-out that we requested without charging us anything. We will definitely be staying there again the next time that we visit the area.

If we are ever in the Lake Dallas area and need a room this will definitely be our go to from now on. Everything is so nice and clean and the employees there are absolutely fantastic. The breakfast is fresh and delicious also. This stay was by far the best experience we have encountered with a hotel.

My time at BWP:LD was an amazing experience from beginning to end. The room was nice and spacious, and good quality for the nightly rate. The housekeeping was fantastic and I always came back to a nice and clean room, and they went above and beyond and helped get rid of a surplus of trash I came across following a celebration at a friend's home. The breakfast every morning was always fresh and delicious - Maria is an excellent cook and I always looked forward to coming down and eating every morning. (And I'm hard to get out of bed!) The front desk agents were some of the best people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Dawn, in particular, was always a pleasure to speak with about any problems I had. She was always quick to try and find a solution to a problem, and if a solution couldn't be reached she would always try and find a secondary fix. Her positive attitude and demeanor in the morning was always bright and refreshing to see! I've stayed here twice, once last year and once this year, and I would gladly return. Plus, it's right next to a bunch of restaurants so it's convenient!

We needed a place to sleep in the middle of the night, Best Western answered with a reasonable room for the “rest” of the night. THANK GOODNESS The temps were pushing 110, but the room was well cooled. The room (and bed) were large and accommodating. We stayed four more days! The common areas and pool were nice, breakfast a STEP UP!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Great hot full breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderfully located near the interstate but without the noise. Plenty of good places to eat nearby with additional popular sit-down restaurants just 7 minutes up the Interstate. The hotel was clean and the service great. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Everything worked and was in good shape. I felt the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel for your visit!

Great location to get back and forth to GOZ - only about 2 min to get there from here. Good clean rooms, helpful management, decent variety for breakfast. Would recommend this hotel for for business, couples, families.

We make a trip to the area at least once a year, up until last year, we had difficulty finding a place that fit our budget and also was clean and comfortable. Last year we stayed at Best Western Plus in Lake Dallas and when planning our trip this year decided to return. We have decided this motel will be our place to stay when in the area. While visiting relatives in the Corinth area, I stayed at the Best Western Plus Lake Dallas Inn & Suites. The front desk staff was one of he best I have encountered in my travels. They worked with me due to flight issues and went out of their way in making sure check in and out was stress free. The room was clean and very attractive with a comfortable bed and the ceiling fan was a plus. The full complimentary breakfast was exceptional in that they offered such a variety of items to choose from. This particular Best Western should be a five star with all it has to offer. The best in Corinth!

From the moment we arrived I was pleased. We were upgraded to a King Suite, the room was very nice and met all of my expectations. I travel 5 or 6 times a year and stay at some very nice hotels. This room was as nice as any I have visited. I asked to stay a couple of extra nights. The Desk Manager Dawn was very accommodating and helpful. In fact she made me feel like we were old friends and that is the type of personal touch you need in the hotel business.

Excellent place to stay. We were there for 6 days. The rooms were very clean and were kept clean by excellent staff. The free breakfast was delicious with several choices of food items to choose from. The king bed was totally comfortable. The in room refrigerator and microwave oven were a great plus. The snack room was stocked with everything we liked. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We enjoyed it greatly. The next time we visit Lake Dallas, we will be staying here. Also, the staff, were SUPER!!! Thank You Very Much!!!!!

My parents &I stayed at BWPlus this past weekend while there to attend my sister's graduation and visit family. The staff is friendly and helpful and keep the hotel absolutely spotless. The lobby is nice, comfortable, and welcoming, with complimentary cucumber water, tea and coffee, which are replenished at all times. Special commendation for the hotel manager, Dawn! She understands customer service starts at entry and doesn't end until guests depart happy! We saw her throughout our stay checking in with guests, and stepping in to help wherever support needed throughout the hotel. Complimentary breakfast is provided with waffles, eggs and sausage, plus packaged danish, bagels, dry cereal and fruits. What a pleasant stay! ??

My family attended a graduation and was fortunate to stay at this hotel. The accommodations were very clean, well maintained, quiet, and delicious hot breakfast. Ask the front desk for local food places, shopping and entertainment options. The front desk is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The interior was nicely decorated and there is a photo opportunity on the second floor! The second floor has a beautiful area with a balcony and sail boats in the background

This is a slightly older hotel and the it shows in a few dated items throughout the property, but it is clean and in good order. The staff was pleasant and professional and obviously took great pride in their work. The breakfast was very nice and included a nice selection of items (including bacon which is a rare sight these days). The room was quiet. Once or twice I hear some airplane noise, but that was all. The location was very convenient for our purposes. We would definitely consider this location for any future visits.

We stayed here for three nights while visiting family in the area. The lovely young man who checked us in was very helpful and extremely competent. The room was very nice -- very clean and the furnishings were excellent. Very convenient for us.

I stay at this same location because of the excellence of care and professional assistance I receive on a consistent basis. Te staff are always extremely cordial and helpful. The rooms are clean and décor is nice. The breakfast is always fresh and hot. I highly recommend this location if you need to be in the area.

This was a very pleasant stay. The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and all amenities were in working order. The breakfast was also good with plenty of choices.

This motel is very comfortable and clean. I was very pleased that I didn't have to adjust the room temp. It was perfect for my whole 3 night stay.Everything was in working order and even the pull out sofa bed was comfortable. I was visiting family nearby and had no issue with access to Swisher Road or I-35E. Rooms face north and south; not toward the interstate. So I didn't notice any excessive noise.The staff was friendly and greeted me coming and going. Breakfast was fine; the normal fare for Best Western. The only little inconvenience: no vending or ice machines on my floor. But all in all a great stay. I will stay here again if I'm in the area.

The room was not clean. The toilet was not properly affixed to the floor. The road noise outside and the hallway noise inside kept me awake. To top it off, the breakfast wasn't very good. I do not recommend it.

This hotel is very clean, beds are comfortable and front desk is extremely nice. The only issue I had (and it was my fault) was leaving a Vera Bradley makeup bag in the room when I checked out and it was never turned in by housekeeping. My advice at any hotel is to make sure you have all of your bags when you leave, I was in such a hurry, I didn't follow my own advise and paid for it this time. =(

My wife & I were visiting our son & family in a nearby town, so we stayed at the Lake Dallas, Best Western Plus Inn & Suites for 12 days in December and January. We have stayed here for extended periods of time for the past 3 years. James & Dawn at the front desk are always friendly and professional and as we have stayed there several days, We notice they treat all guests with the same 'home town' courtesy and friendly conversation.They frequently ask if everything is alright with our room and is there anything else they can do for us. They serve a wonderful buffet breakfast, including egs, bacon, or sausage, waffles, biscuits & gravy, a variety of serials, oatmeal, sweet rolls, donuts, muffins, various juice, coffee, etc. Maria does an excellent job preparing and setting up the buffet breakfast each morning. She is very efficient and has wonderful smile and personality. Even on the busiest mornings, She keeps the buffet well supplied. There is an outdoor hot tub, which we always enjoy, with our grandchildren, even on the coldest days of December. We let them know when we are planning to use it and James & Dawn are always happy to heat it up for us. We have also met the owner, Sonny Patel and his wife. They are most friendly and accommodating. I can understand why the staff is so friendly and accommodating. It's a trickle down effect. We also arranged for my wife's sister & husband to stay here for their visit over a long weekend. They were extremely happy and very impressed with the hospitality of all the staff here. We will certainly be staying here again as we come to visit our family near Lake Dallas, TX.

Very nice and clean hotel. We were in for a volleyball tournament, and it was conveniently located close to the venue. We left something behind, and Dawn handled getting it shipped back to us very efficiently. Customer service is definitely above and beyond what I expected. Thank you Dawn:)

The staff's customer service is what sets this hotel apart. They were friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. Our daughter left her winter coat and the staff saved it and got it shipped back to us.

Staff was very nice in taking my concerns about broken toilet and lights in the room but not too helpful in getting them fixed (they were not fixed at all !) We rented 3 rooms and things in the rooms were broken or missing and it just looked sloppy. They need to do an inventory of each room & fix them !! Also they use square pillows on the beds. They are NOT comfortable at all. TOO SMALL

My family and I spent 30 nights at this location. We found the staff to be very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Dawn, the Front Desk Mgr, seemed to set the tone for the Bread & Breakfast atmosphere. She and the other Front Desk Clerks went out of their way to make our long term stay a pleasant one. The House Keepers were excellent! The towels were white and always looked clean and the bed sheets were nice and soft, not scratchy. The Breakfast bar at this location, attended by Maria, provides freshly scrambled eggs and occasionally, bacon. The gym is small, but serves its purpose. With all of its positives, this location did have a couple of issues for us: 1) The wi-fi service is slow!. We found doing business on the internet quite frustrating! The Owner needs to upgrade the wi-fi speed ASAP!!! and 2) The printer in the Business Center didn't work. Dawn did all she could to get it working, but the print queue was controlled by the Owner. Overall, my family and I will definitely lodge at this BW whenever we return to the Corinth/Denton area!!!

Best Western in general has friendly well trained staff. The BW in Lake in Dallas was especially good with handling problems. We had a water issue in the bathroom and the front desk staff moved us quickly to another room.

Very comfortable and the staff were always cheerful and polite. It was cool when we stayed but they turned the hot tub on for us as we Canadians don't mind the cold so much. Lol. Thanks again for a worry free stay.

Hotel was very nice with a good continental breakfast. Was in Lake Dallas for a softball tournament. It was close to the fields and close to restaurants and shopping areas. I would stay at this hotel again next time we are in the area.

This hotel was a nice little hotel and the staff were very helpful. Requested a noon check-in because our son was getting married and preferred to get ready at the hotel, our room was ready and very clean. Only issue was it's a little hard to get into because of the traffic.

Outstanding hotel! Very clean very nice. Staff was great and helpful. Location off the freeway was good and have a lot of stores around it as well that you can even walk too. The breakfast was very good and had plenty of options as well, which is goods for kids. The area itself is nice and if we stay longer next time will be able to explore some being that we are so close to the lake. Entire family enjoyed the room, location and stay. Staff was presentable and outstanding in taking care of our needs.

The people are very warm and helpful. It is a very comfortable place to stay. The breakfast is good and consistent with fresh eggs, bacon and sausage, waffles, etc. Coffee is available all day (and night).

Our initial room had a musty smell, so we were moved to a different room that had more space. The hotel staff was apologetic and were quit to help us. We were able to check in early, which was extremely helpful. Overall our experience was good.

I do a lot of traveling in this country and in Europe. I have been staying in B&W on and off for years and am in general very happy with the overall cleanliness, service and breakfast. This B&W is very much all of that and more. My stay was a mixture of business and pleasure in the Denton-Lake Dallas area and being so close to a main highway that leads into Dallas was super convenient...although the maze of highways is always crowded. Kudos to B&W. I will be staying at a B&W in Europe on an upcoming trip to France. Look for that review!

We traveled to Dallas area for a family event a few miles away from hotel. Four generations in a couple of rooms. Grandson enjoyed pool, beds were comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and rates were reasonable. Everything was clean and well maintained. We will stay here again on next trip to area.

Stay was very comfortable. The motel was nicely decorated and pleasantly appointed. Room was comfortable with queen sized beds, ceiling fan, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Bathroom was a little small but included dispensers for soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hand lotion insread of the usual tiny, individual bottles. Water in the shower was of proper tempature and very good pressure. Staff was professional, freindly, and attentive. Location was a little awkward to get to and the road side signage was small and difficult to see. Overall, the visit was very nice, reasonably priced, convenient to my needs, and enjoyable. I would recommend staying at Best Western.

I made a last minute decision to get a room and sort of pulled in praying they had space. I was in luck! The attendant checked me in, provided us with snacks and drinks. The room was very clean and nice cool A/C. Later that night we used the pool / Jacuzzi the pool area was very clean and we actuallly had the pool all to ourselves it was great!!!!!

My wife and I stayed here for one night after arriving from Sydney on a 16 hour long haul non stop flight. It was a great location for us to head about 30 minutes north and relax for the afternoon, before heading further north the next day. Comfortable beds and a good breakfast options included were great. The pool area was nice too.

Lake Dallas Inn is close to I-35, but not too close. We were not aware of noise from the highway during our 2-night stay. We are seniors using the AARP rate. That might have led to Inn staff's decision to put us on the ground loor in a fully accessable room.We did not need those features, but we were close to the lobby and the (hot) breakfast room.

Lot of noise on 1st floor . Didn't sleep well. Stomping all night from 12 pm to 4 am. Same thing for both nights. Was there for family reunion overall room was nice, employee was nice . Breakfast was nice

Although I made my reservation 4 months prior to check in, I was not given a handicapped room on the first floor as requested. Instead I was told that another couple was staying for 15 days as opposed to my 6 days. In other words, forget your requests. We cater to whomever spends the most money. Poor business practices and poor customer service

Pretty clean with decent customer service. Internet wasn't the best but the staff was willing to help me try and fix the problem. Also my teenager really enjoyed the outdoor pool. I have stayed here for work a few times as well and it's not too bad. Beds are pretty comfy too.

They have a Nice cooked breakfast in the morning. The maid do a great job cleaning rooms. The people at the front desk are very polite. They made our stay feal very homey. They have alot of places rightaround the hotel that makes things easy and convenient.

I've stayed here for about 2 weeks now and I'm still impressed with the hospitality this hotel offers. Great service, clean rooms and awesome decor. The Owner is fantastic and the staff are always smiling. I highly recommend BWP Lake Dallas. Especially for business trips

This Best Western Plus is standard for what you expect. Standard breakfast bar. Decent and clean rooms. Nice ceiling fan. Good parking. Pleasant staff. Popular with contractors and construction guys. And there is LOTS of construction going on. I guess Texas decided to tear up and expand every highway and arterial all at the same time here in north Texas. It is a nightmare to get around. Exits closed, ramps shortened. It will be great when it is all done (2018?) but will be hard to navigate until then. If you come here, keep your eye out for the small and low sign on the margin of Swisher avenue. It is really easy to miss. The hotel is tucked behind a strip mall so is not obvious from the road

I really haven't nothing to complain about during my stay. The internet was the fastest I've experienced at a motel before. The staff were helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this motel anytime you are in Lake Dallas TX. My bed was definitely comfortable. I love the fact that Best Western has a variety of pillows so you can pick the one you prefer. Great stay.

Great friendly staff, but rooms are needing some help and upgrading. The carpet was stained and smelled. Ceiling fan light fixture above my bed was broken and bulb was missing . There was still hair on the walls of the shower when I first entered the bath. Air conditioning unit was pretty noisy. Furniture was beat up and worn.

Friendly people and nice, clean, inexpensive hotel. All the staff spoke to us and were present to help with anything you need. Breakfast was hot and average for this type of hotel with no real kitchen. Food was fresh and area was clean. Overall very pleased with hotel and price.

Met our needs for weekend wedding stay. Good location able to avoid I 35 and construction with no problem. Clean and great included breakfast. Could use a little updating. Would stay again if in area.

We stayed 10 nights. Hotel is close to I-35 and easy access to Denton, Flower Mound, Frisco, etc. We had a "suite" with the couch and chair, so the room was spacious. Ceiling fan over the bed was a good addition - probably mostly to help take the air from the window unit into the rest of the room. But the fan chain for changing speeds was missing, so the fan was either on high speed or not on at all. We reported the fan to front desk on third day and reminded them a couple of days later. It was never fixed, but I was told on checking out that the maintenance man was no longer employed there. Bed was comfortable. WiFi was excellent. Breakfast room was spacious. Can't comment on food because I have celiac disease and dairy and egg sensitivity, so I have to provide my own breakfast everywhere I go. As for housekeeping . . . a definite weakness at this hotel. It's not that the room was dirty, but the daily upkeep lacked. The little handsoap was only replaced after a week when my husband took one off the cart in the hall. Sweeping the bathroom was spotty, as was the vacuuming, and no notice was taken by them of things we had used that needed replacing - other than towels and toilet paper. Kleenex, notepaper, cups, and shower cap were not replaced unless we raided the cart or asked at the front desk. But, really, these were not enough to make it a bad stay - just irritations that the management should work to improve on. I would recommend asking for a room on the back side of the hotel, as there is a neighborhood there, as opposed to a busy street, though a good white noise app helps there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Lake Dallas. Today we hung out at the private pool which was very peaceful. We enjoyed the daily breakfast and the in room coffee & refrigerator as well as the microwave. There is a sushi and Chinese restaurant, a hamburger joint, a liquor store and an auto parts store within walking distance and a grocery store and many other restaurants within a mile.

Was hard to see because it's located behind a liquor store. WiFi didn't work. Husband found a nanno lizard living in the bathroom behind the loose tiles of the bathroom floor/wall. Went to checkout and the front desk said we never checked in. Elevator smelled of hot rubber.

Chose this property as it was not in the heart of Dallas, but easy access to the Airport location where my meeting was. Nice little spot, with pool and close to restaurants. Surprised to hear they will be updating the hotel, because it is in good shape. Best part was friendly, helpful people at front desk. Good value staying here.

I loved my stay at Best Western Lake Dallas. My room was comfortable and clean. James on the front desk was very helpful. He made this old gal feel at home and safe after a long trip through Dallas, construction, and many hold ups from wrecks.

The hotel has been redecorated and more upgrades are coming. It is very attractive, clean, has friendly staff and a full cooked on site breakfast - no microwaved eggs and sausage here! It is 100% non smoking. The beds are comfortable and the internet signal is strong. The only problem we had was that it took the AC about 4 hours to cool the room to where we wanted it for sleeping.

At first, everything was fine. The room is not showy; it's obviously not a five star hotel but I had to work literally right next to the hotel so I chanced it by booking here. Bad move. Gross carpet. Hair on bed and towels. Checked out almost as fast as I checked in.

Ok but nothing special. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Difficult access to motel as I-35 exit was closed to the motel. Pool was nice and well kept. Staff was friendly. It was very adequate. I would probably stay here again.

I styled by myself for 5 nights and was very pleased with the customer service. The breakfast was very weak and I didn't end up eating it. Very simple foods, no thing to write home about, so don't get too excited. My room seemed clean enough. The hotel is in need of a remodel. Bed was not a pillow top, but was satisfactory. Location was fantastic and with a very short drive to many restaurants and stores. No view of the lake. Pool and hot tub were small but clean. Overall felt very safe.

Our room was quiet (212) and large. 2 comfortable beds, couch (the suites are larger with a couch and armchair), desck and 2 chairs. The aircon was adequate but noisy, as usual the blackout cutains didn't meet but a clip coat hanger solved the problem. Very good breakfast and the "eggs cooked to order" was a nice touch. Excellent pool, smal gym.All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Difficult to find due to the roadworks. Lots of cheap restaurants close by plus several supermarkets. We stayed for 10 nights and would stay again if we were in the area.

We needed to spend 6 nights while waiting for our moving truck to arrive. This hotel is the closest to our property and was most convenient. We really didn't spend time there other than sleep. The rates were affordable and there were no issues with the cleanliness. The check-in was a little annoying as the elevator was broken. I originally reserved a room with 2 queen beds, but the clerk informed me that we would have to move to a different room after 4 nights as all were booked for the weekend. He offered to upgrade us to a King suite for our entire stay (at no additional charge) if we didn't want the inconvenience of changing rooms, which we took advantage of. The suite had 1 TV on the side of the bed, a desk and a couch and chair. I was told the couch could be pulled out to a bed. We weren't crazy about being on the 2nd floor as we had to lug a lot of stuff in and out, and my dog doesn't like to go up and down stairs, but the clerk offered to help bring up the luggage. The elevator was fixed within a few hours. The bathtub squeaked when you got in to take a shower, so I am guessing the coating was not installed correctly. As far as breakfast goes, we both considered it inedible. There was a sign at check-in that eggs would be made to order, but there was no where I saw to get that. Clerk told me at checkout that I just had to ask the attendant, but she never looked like she expected a request and I didn't think she looked that approachable. There was no visible "egg station" in the dining room. There are so many fast food places within minutes that we didn't mind eating out anyway. They are (small) dog friendly for a fee of $25 per stay, so I appreciated that. As I expect to have visitors from time to time that need to stay nearby, I would recommend they stay here for its affordability and convenience. There is still a lot of road construction going on, but that didn't concern us, and it was still easy to access I-35.

Smell in hotel and room was unpleasant. When I asked why the room smelled so musty they stated they have had no complaints. I was offered a bottle of Febreeze and was told to just spray the room. The décor in the rooms was outdated. We were told we could order eggs to our liking at breakfast but was never offered this option.

Stayed 4 night here attending a friends wedding. Reserved a suite and it was very nice. Good size room and having a couch and chair to sit in was nice. Room was clean...bed comfortable...very good breakfast every morning...friendly staff. We couldn't of asked for anything more. If in the area again we will be staying here.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Awesome! Clean. Pet friendly. The breakfast was really good. Hot foods, not just a Continental. I enjoyed the strawberry waffles in a TX state shape (I live in Rockport, TX, so that was cute) My pooch was comfortable as I was. The staff was helpful and soooo friendly! Also, what I really liked is a window that opens, for fresh air! I recommend this hotel. I will always stay here when I come to Dallas to see my son! : ) One thing...the pillows were balled up, but lots of them, so that wasn't really an issue. That's the only thing I can say neg.

Everything was perfect for our stay from the employees, to the room, to the breakfast. Every employee was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was hot and fresh, and the breakfast staff were constantly refilling everything so the bar was full and hot. The best hotel stay I have had in a long time.

rooms are decent, staff is helpful and breakfast is good overall. near by amenities are great. overall great experience. we weren't allowed to checkout later than 12. other than that, everything was good. Dog charges were decent. We paid 25 for 4 nights. there is walmart and fast food near by. the Chino-Japanese place right in front of motel is decent.

Stayed here when in town for the race. The hotel and grounds are clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful! Suggested good places to eat, and easy routes around the area to the track. Dispute having a softball team there at breakfast they kept the food hot and refilled often. The pool and hot tub were good as well. The price was very reasonable! Would suggest this hotel to anyone staying in the area. I will be back when near Dallas.

This is a clean, comfortable hotel. I like the fact that it is a eco-friendly hotel, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Just be aware that the entrance is through Swisher Rd., lots of construction around it right now. Worth staying in it if you are in this area.

We enjoyed our trip. Hotel was clean, beds were comfy. Breakfast was good but there wasn't enough so we had to wait a bit, however I would imagine it's hard to keep up with not knowing how many people will want to eat.

The staff and breakfast are great. The hotel needs work noisy wind comes though the windows looks like they don't care to fix, I'm sure they have had the same complaints about the window noise but choose to ignore it. will not stay there again not drive a little further

Room was very clean and towels changed every day. Bed was made up nicely each day. Maid service was excellent. Comfortable bed. Had a no frills room but it served its purpose for the week. Refrigerator and Microwave in room. Breakfast was OK. We had stayed at a Best Western in Memphis before we arrived at this location and their breakfast was a lot nicer in presentation, but what was offered at both locations was essentially the same stuff. Coffee, juice, waffles, fruit, cereal. This location offered to make you fresh eggs each day. We were visiting family in the area, so didn't spend much time in the room, but overall stay was very good. We arrived a day earlier than expected and the hotel accommodated us with no problem at all. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had great customer service here and the rooms were good for the price we paid. The traffic and construction are horrendous around this area, and the lighting in the room could definitely improve. Also need more plugs around the bedside table!

We stopped here after driving for 10 hours. We based our selection on other reviews and were not disappointed at all. The young man at the front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and pillows. They have the old fashioned air and heat units in the window which I personally love because the constant humming helps me sleep more soundly. The room also had a ceiling fan, which I have never seen in a hotel. Breakfast was pretty standard, but they do make your eggs to order. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Comfortable beds, nonsmoking establishment, clean rooms, Good breakfast eggs made to order and a helpful staff. Close to the lake bar, food and other amenities with in walking distance. For the beer enthusiast Local brewery 6.8 miles away (closed on Mondays) and good variety to choose from in the liquor depot across the parking lot.

We were coming for the FCS National Championship. The hotel was very clean, quiet and friendly. We arrived early but the front desk allowed us to check in for one of the two rooms we had reserved. Breakfast each morning was good and there was always plenty to eat...even at 6:00 in the morning! And the beds were extremely comfortable! Do be aware there is a lot of road construction in this area so it can cause some delays in your travels.

Super friendly staff from the start. Stayed in a lower level king, room was spacious, quiet, internet was sufficient and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom has wall mounted dispensers on the wall next to the sink that have soap and lotion, the dispensers were also in the tub/shower. I have seen this in gyms however not in a hotel. Exercise room was adequate with the available equipment, fresh towels and water were also available. Free breakfast was well put together with plenty of options.

This past week was our second time to stay at this hotel while visiting family. Our first stay went well, except for drug paraphernalia we found in our room. That was given to management when found. This last visit was okay as far as the room being quiet and no drug paraphernalia. Housekeeping cleaned our room only once out of our 3 day/4 night stay, even though the housekeeping cart was on our floor when we left the room each morning. When retrieving clean towels at the front desk in the evening the person working the desk explained that the census at the hotel was down so housekeeping did not stay all day. Okay, but what about freshening up the rooms that were occupied? The pickings are slim for hotels/motels in Corinth but I am not sure we will be staying at this Best Western on future visits to family. You do get what you pay for.

We have a family reunion every year in this area. We have stayed at this hotel for maybe 7-10 years and we have enjoyed it. It is a central location for many of us. The management allows us to use the breakfast, at no extra charge, for our family party. They also heat up the whirlpool for the younger family members to use (this is in December). Overall, very easy to work with.This year we had 3 in our room and one slept on the fold out couch on the very uncomfortable mattress. The 2 queen beds were very comfortable. Thanks Sunny.

The hotel is lovely. We enjoyed the breakfast, the comfortable room (particularly the comfortable beds), and the convenience. The hotel is conveniently close to I35E, so it's close to restaurants and shopping.

The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The bed was a little saggy in the middle but was comfortable. A computer was available for free internet use. We made a reservation for 3 days but left early because of illness and had no problem receiving a credit. The breakfast was ok. The hot foods need some improvement. There was this egg thing in the shape of a pancake that didn't look very appetizing to me. Bacon was available on one day but the next day there was a thin burrito instead. The make your own waffle machine made good waffles. Yogurt, cereal, breads and fruit was also provided, but you certainly won't go hungry. The only thing that might be an issue for some is the barking dog in one of the houses in the back of the low 200 rooms.

Room was nice the hallways were hot. Like they are trying to save money. Tried to get the bottle water that they say they will give to customers in the morning but got told they sold water. not cool to do that to 70 yearolds

I spent one night for leisure travel at this hotel. The room was clean and fresh smelling. The Lobby and general areas were also very clean. Heck... even the parking lot is spotless! The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. I had a great night's sleep for a great price. They even have a full breakfast! Great choice to make, if you are looking for a hotel in this area.

This hotel is one of the best I have every stayed at overall. The management is superior, the price is reasonable, and everything from the breakfast to the comfort of the room to the pool and hot tub are in excellent shape.

I stayed here as part of a group for a local conference at a church. The staff could not do enough to help us. The facility's were fantastic, they were spotless. The furnishings were beautiful and looked really nice. The lobby was a great place to socialise with the rest of the group. The air conditioning was very useful as being from Britain I am not use to the Texan heat. The selection at breakfast was excellent with a choice of hot and continental. The staff were amazingly helpful going above and beyond to accommodate for us. When we had to be at the church early (6am) they opened the breakfast room early for us. The manger drove us to the church herself (doing two trips) as the shuttle was not yet running. The pool was another great place to relax although it was small it was lots of fun to relax after a long day. I would defiantly recommend you stay here. O and another tip the sports bar across the car park is very fun!

My husband and I stayed here as part of a group of 14 attending a local event. Obviously it is a modern building but inside it is traditionally furnished giving an impression of real luxury. The lobby is stunning with enormous chandeliers, a balcony and a comfortable seating area. Our enormous room was spotlessly clean and well equipped with dark wood furniture and the biggest bed I have ever slept in. We appreciated being able to relax on the sofa rather than sitting on the bed. The air con and fan were effective and it was easy for us Brits who are unused to the Texas heat to stay comfortable. Breakfast offered a huge choice and even at the busiest times the hot food was frequently replenished. We loved the option of the fresh waffles (in the shape of Texas). We spent a lot to time relaxing in the comfortable well appointed lobby and the staff were happy for us to take chairs from the breakfast room so we could all sit together. As well as the facilities in our room iced water was constantly available along with tea and coffee in the breakfast room. The thing that has to stand out however is the service provided by the staff that went above and beyond our expectations. When we needed to be at our venue at 6.00a.m. the staff opened the breakfast room early and the manager did two trips to drive us there in her own car. She also collected us in the afternoon. We were very busy while we were there but the hotel provided the perfect place to relax and refresh. And if you are staying over a weekend don't miss the karaoke at the nearby sports bar!

8/20/2015 My mother, daughter, dog and I stayed here here for an event we were attending further in Dallas but wanted to be near my daughter. First, the front desk staff was very nice and hospitable but the young man that checked us in DID NOT read any of the notes but he was very nice. I requested a QUIET room on a HIGH floor away from stairs, exits, elevators and ice machines and we were placed in a room directly across from the exit stairs and not the highest floor. He did manage to put us on the 3rd floor RM 325 and since my mother had already gotten comfortable I thought I would give the room a try. The suite was ok but housekeeping should have paid a little more attention because there was hair on the floor and the mirrors were not that clean. The bathroom included soap and lotion dispensers as wells as shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Our bathroom door would not stay closed. We had to SLAM the door for it to stay closed. The accent chair had some bleach or discoloration on it. There were no bedding for the sofa bed so I had to go to the front desk. The window coverings were missing a handle to open and close one side. RM 325 faces the parking lot and I could hear the Swisher Rd. traffic and noise from the parking lot. Second, Breakfast the next morning consists of pork breakfast sausage, country gravy, biscuits, eggs, breads fruit, milk, coffee and juices. Unfortunately, there was crumbs and spills on the counter near the waffle maker. The lady just looked and finally I said "Good Morning" and only then did she say a morning greeting. She kept walking by the waffle area and only took the used cups but did not clean up.(SEE pictures attached not that clear) There was hair hanging on the banana holder over the apples.(See attached picture closely) The next morning 8/22/2015 at breakfast the attendant was there again and greeted me.:) My mom had went before me around 8:30 and told me the attendant said she was NOT putting anymore non stick spray out and that was . The man in front was making waffles and there was NO nonstick spray in the bottle so his waffles tore apart. It's sad that some people are UNCIVILIZED and were using there hands to pick up the bread when tongs were right there. Last, we were up most of the night so we just checked out. Again the front desk staff was nice and the hotel was not that bad but the small stuff counts. The $25 pet fee is cheaper than the higher star level hotels we've stayed at but I will stick to the other hotel that does not charge and have a cleaner breakfast area. I may give them another try if needed because there is a exercise trail across the parking lot on the side of I-35 and then again this could have just been an off day. We checked out a day early.

This hotel was very nice. The staff was nice as well. This hotel was preferred by one of the ladies in our group and now us first timers know why. It was a very pleasant stay! I have a friend that is very, very picky and I know she would have approved this hotel!
