Best Western Plus Greenwood/Indy South Inn

What a clean attractive place to stay. I traveled alone and felt totally safe there for 2 nights. Yes there are truckers and construction people staying there--they weren't an issue at all. Close to restaurants too, so you don't have to go far if you choose not to have any food delivered.

VERY CLEAN HOTEL! I was highly impressed. The room was clean-except one of the beds had a big hole in the comforter. It was quiet and very comfortable overall. Wish the breakfast would have had more options but it was still satisfying-the dining area was organized and very clean! The location is in a perfect area! I will definitely stay there again if I have to come to that area again. Keep up the great job!

I've been staying it Best Westerns all over the United States for years this Water line broke in my house and a few days without water waiting for Plumers to run a new line I needed a room and a bath. *Best Western just down the road. *room as usual was perfect *clean organized *plenty of hot water (bath tub) *Nice indoor pool *Nice workout room * Breakfast,, hmmmm! Not as good as most BW's but free Check in though was different than past experiences at BW's .girl acted like I was inconvenience and irritating her just trying to check in maybe she just had a bad day.

The room amenities were great. We were impressed with the breakfast selections. Both days had eggs and sausage gravy. One day had bacon and the other sausage. There were also waffles, juices, flavored coffees, cold cereals, breads, muffins, fresh fruit, etc. It was kept well stocked by the assigned employee. It looked like a new hotel, but was told it was formerly another chain. They did a great job of renovation. It is very close to I-65, but we were not bothered by road noise. There are several fast food restaurants in the area plus a Denny's. We did not use the pool or fitness center, Our room was very clean and had all amenities. The body way, shampoo, and conditioner were on the wall. I wish there had been a lotion, however. We would definitely stay here again.

Ok location. Hotel was clean. Lots of truckers stay at this hotel. We stayed for 5 nights with a baseball team for a tournament and there was an average of 8-10 truckers staying here each night. Key cards stopped working on a daily basis. Hotel GM Emily refused to honor group block rate that was quoted by Kate Carollo Sales Director for Best Western. My group of over 14 rooms for 5 nights will never return to Best Western for another tournament after this experience. If you have a group, stay elsewhere.

Great place to stay. Great area to stay. Convenient to everything. About 10 miles to historical Fountain Square area in the Southside area. Greenwood has all the restaurants and has plenty to do around. The hotel is clean and recently remodeled.

Overall great location to stay. Friendly staff. Hotel itself is clean as well. There are bars and little casino room but we did not use.

The hotel structure is spacious, which gives it a bit of a generous feeling -- from the lobby to the hallways to the sleeping rooms and their baths. Nothing was cramped -- I loved the nice long counter in our bathroom. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was attentively maintained, with many hot options offered. And fresh pears while we were there! There is a nice two story swimming pool (which we did not use) and a small but well appointed workout room (which we did use). The recent redecoration/renovation was thoughtfully planned and well executed.

Our stay at this hotel was very nice, the room was super clean. Even though there were little kids next to us, we didn't hear then at all. The breakfast as nice and the employees kept it stocked very well. I will return!

Room was extremely dirty and the lady at the desk in the morning is rude. She probably get a job at a factory and not dealing with the public. Black hair in the sink and sofa bed had never been cleaned. Also you can hear the traffic from the interstate all night. Thin insulation.

Non existent customer service for a reported problem. Broken elevator. Parking lot looked like a truck terminal from all the parked rigs. Overall very poorly maintained property. Most staff were foreign and not understandable when answering questions. Overall just a hot mess.

Lobby was clean and bright. The caulking around the tub was not well done and done in a hurry, in other words, sloppy. There was mold around the top edges of the shower surround. Also, in the bathroom, there was dust built up in the cubby holes that are the clean towel storage rack. The breakfast was only 3 stars. The potatoes were mush and watery, the omelets were only warm at best and the Canadian bacon was sitting in a water bath. The room was quiet and the bed firm and comfortable.

Check in/check out was easy and quick. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was satisfactory with a few different options - cereal, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, yogurt, breads, bagels, toast, peanut butter, fruit and waffles. Swimming pool was open until 10. Nice exercise room. I would stay here again if in the area.

The room was never cleaned for our 4 night stay. Asked multiple times and were told they would come around to clean then finally was told the crew/company was gone. We were out of clean towels and had to ask/bring up our own towels finally. Expected better for the price paid.

The room is very convenient to the expressway. We were on our way to Wisconsin from Washington DC and were happy to be almost out of Indyt at this stop. We came in on Sunday evening and were surprised at the traffic at that time. We would have hated to be going through all of Indy on Monday a.m.

Bathroom and entryway floor was very dirty. The rest of the room seemed just okay. Bed comfortable. Toilet seat was very loose. Pool was nice temperature. Staff was helpful. Location was right outside of elevator. Very noisy in the morning.

I was bumped from the King Room I reserved and because Management Over Booked the Hotel….I was not given a choice in the matter and was assigned to a room closest to the interstate. You want a Get a good nights sleep at this Hotel,!!

Stayed for one night in room that did face the highway. There were no noise issues. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast in the morning was nice to have but the best we have had - acceptable. There is no issue with the parking lot, we saw pictures online that showed the parking lot in bad shape, but it is fine and in good shape. Would stay here again

The room was good. But the service is really bad. I paid with a gift card. After checking in the receptionist called me on my room to tell me that I owned the full amount! I showed her my receipt (I paid online when I made the reservation). My wife and I had the same feeling: the receptionist was very aggressive and not at all helpful. She told us that she needed to wait the response from the manager. But she never called us back. So, we lost the show we were planned to attend in Indianapolis. We wasted our time, our money, and it was the worst experience ever at a Best Western hotel. It is a Best Western Plus!? It is not a Plus definitely! We would never go back to this hotel!

This hotel appeared very nice from the lobby, clean, well organized and staff was friendly. Our room looked nice, well equipped and organized. However, there was a smell. A mixture of bad body odor and urine. We packed up and informed the front desk of the odor. They did offer to move us to another room, but we choose to move on.

Staff was very friendly. The hotel and rooms were very clean. Beds are very comfortable. I am glad I did my research and stayed here. We will use this facility again! It's a great location to many good restaurants/coffee/ etc.

At out last stay in Best Western, the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good, and the location worked well to get around. It was a very relaxing stay. We would be happy to stay there again.

My family and I had a very nice stay. The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel and guest rooms were clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. We were impressed with the tv and wifi! The breakfast was fantastic! The pool was a huge bonus for my family!

This hotel is being rebranded from a La Quinta to a Best Western. Signage to and on the hotel is for a Best Western even though it is still advertised on the Wyndham site as a La Quinta. They now charge a $20 pet fee.

Hotel being renovated but as a reward member I was given one of the last rooms to be renovated. Bed was hard and noisy. TV remote didn't work. Charged for pets even though I didn't see anything on the website when I made reservations. Breakfast had no water available to drink.

When I reviewed this property in 2018 I indicated that there was a strong odor in our room upon arrival. We returned to the hotel a few days ago and had a very nice stay. We had a room on the third floor this time and it was spacious. There were lots of outlets for charging devices and they provided a very large television, microwave, and refrigerator. There was a sign in the lobby indicated that the property is currently being remodeled extensively, but that didn't cause us any problem. I suspect that our room was already finished. As before, the breakfast buffet included scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal, fruit, bread and bagels to toast, orange and apple juice, and a machine to make waffles. We enjoyed the breakfast. The only real negative this time is that the mattress is put on top of a stand with a metal side. If you happen to kick that when getting into or out of the beg, there is a loud gong sound. That's a problem if your partner is asleep! We will likely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

The parts of the hotel that have been remodeled are very nice. We were given a room that had not been remodeled, and it had some damage to the walls and scuff marks on the furniture. However, it was clean, and we didn't notice any noise from the renovation workers. They are welcoming of large breed dogs, and there is tons of grass around the hotel to walk the dog. The hotel is very near the interstate and a short drive from Indianapolis. There are several restaurants and gas stations nearby including a Denny's right across the parking lot. We will likely stay here again and look forward to staying in a newly renovated room.
