Best Western Plus Grand Rapids MN

The property is lovely. I seldom write a review, but watching Heather, the front desk manager, was so amazing. I watched her several times each of the three days we spent there was incredible. When she wasn't welcoming and registering every person walking through the door, she was moving quickly to pick up, clean up after guests, and providing service that was above and beyond. I have never been treated as well at any hotel I have ever stayed. She is amazing!

This is the hotel where we usually stay when visiting the Grand Rapids, MN area. Building and parking lot are well maintained. Hotel lobby and breakfast area are always neat and clean. Hotel staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Great location! Friendly staff with clean and comfortable rooms. We had a great night sleeping in a comfy king bed. It was a hot day of golfing and the air conditioner "quietly" kept us cool while sleeping. Also enjoyed a hot breakfast. We love staying at Best Westerns!

Great hotel in Grand Rapids Area. Clean rooms, good breakfast, nice pool, quiet for sleeping needs. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will use this hotel again. (This was our 2nd stay at this facility.) Hotel is easy to locate and is close to downtown area and restaurants.

Grand Rapids is my hometown, and therefore we stay here regularly when visiting family. Charlotte and her team never disappoint! Cleanliness and small housekeeping details make all the difference. We have yet to stay in a room here that was not spotless and meticulously prepared. And the staff! Housekeepers always smile and say hi, breakfast staff is present and attentive, and front desk is fast and efficient. Special shout out to Heather, who is often working when we check in late in the evening. She always has a smile, a warm welcome, and just makes our day in general.

We had no idea what the Grand Rapids, MN hotel had to offer but love every Best Western Plus we've stayed at. Gave it a try and were completely blown away from the time we stepped through the door! Professional staff registered us, the hotel was immaculate and our room perfect. All amenities from bathroom to linens were perfect. A definite return trip planned!

Very pleasant experience. Warm welcoming staff. Very clean newer facility. Room was great and bed was very comfortable. Very quiet and restful. Breakfast provided a good offering and staff very very attentive on clean up and ensuring that food offerings were plentiful.

Extremely clean (I have contamination OCD and still felt comfortable in the guest room) and very friendly service. Breakfast food was pretty meh (par for the course with chain hotels), but the breakfast staff were SO friendly. Within walking distance of Target and a few restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

Very polite greeting and clean room. The greeter even offered me bottled water. The place is close to target Walmart and a fleet and farm store. Restaurants are really close and were even open on Monday. I was really surprised that they had a room seeing the parking lot was full.

Stayed one night. Nice large room, very comfortable. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Conveniently located to good restaurants, the Judy Garland House and the Forest History Center. If you find yourself in Grand Rapids, I would stay here.

Being new it has that new hotel smell, the rooms are very nice, big TV, comfortable bed and pillows, staff super friendly, breakfast was better than standard with some kinda pulled pork? It was good whatever it was, lol I usually stay across the street but will stay here again

Front desk person very rude and wasn't friendly at all. 5 minutes of rules for my 2, 12 yr olds. It was ridiculous! Hotel is nice but do not go there with kids. Got kicke led out of the lobby at 10PM sharp due to hotel policy and 3 of us were having a quiet conversation!

Our stay was fabulous!! Kiddos wanted to swim so we did an impromptu stay on our way home from the cabin. The staff were so friendly and helpful! My kids are 11 & 7 and they noticed & commented on how friendly the staff were, too. Rooms were very clean & breakfast was delightful. Beautiful stay!!

Nice hotel. Clean and new. Staff was helpful. The walls and floors are a bit thin and I could hear everything coming from the room upstairs. Other than that, nice place to stay.

We have stayed in several BW+ properties over the last couple years, and this one stands out. Great location. Modern yet cozy and welcoming. Super friendly staff. Clean and well maintained. Quiet rooms. Nice breakfast provided with lots of choices. Our favorite place to stay in Grand Rapids.

I always stay at the Grand Rapids when I am in town. The staff is amazing, The rooms are clean a spacious.

We were absolutely pleasantly surprised by how nice and beautiful this hotel was. Especially for the price. Absolutely beautiful and clean rooms, great and friendly staff, and the complimentary breakfast but absolutely amazing, great variety, and the Nespresso coffee machine was a huge surprise!

My sister and I both were very impressed with the staff and cleanliness of this hotel. We highly recommend it.

It was ok but the place wasn't all the great it was one of the better places I've seen in a long time but it didn't have the qualities that it should have had so for a Best Western and it really should have been much better than what was there I think and I'll leave it to you

Heather was the best host we could've asked for, providing top tier service that was second to none. The hotel itself has all the amenities you could need - a pool, laundry, breakfast, cookies, and coffee! The rooms were large and extremely clean, and the beds were very comfortable too. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

First of all, this is a beautiful new hotel. Lucky us there was a Starbucks in the parking lot! The room was roomy and clean. Beautifully decorated. Walking into the entryway of the hotel was very impressive. The whole experience was very nice. I only have one complaint. The walls must be paper thin. There was someone in the next room snoring all night. And at 7 AM this morning somebody's phone in the next room must've been vibrating and they must've had it by our wall. It actually woke us up. the breakfast was nice. Very nice room. It wasn't anything overly special but it was definitely nice to have a hot breakfast. The only advice I have is when booking rooms maybe they could space them apart. Maybe do every other room. That way you wont hear the neighbors. We heard them talking we could've answered their questions. It definitely was not real private. But overall it is a beautiful hotel and I would still stay there again.

Any time I'm in Grand Rapids I stay at this hotel. It is clean, with all the amenities you nee(Except Hot Tub). But the thing that really sets it apart is the staff, the front desk team is always there to greet you with a friendly smile and ready to go above and beyond to make your stay the very best.

Relatively new hotel run by a professional staff. We love staying here. The rooms are nice and the grounds are well kept. It's quiet during the week. I've never stayed here on the weekend so I have no idea what it's like. Coffee is good. It tastes like you made it yourself.

Nice, new clean hotel. Easy, convenient location with easy access to everything you could need in town. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was well stocked, warm and clean with plenty of options to start your day!

I did not expect this level of service, friendliness, breakfast options, and room quality at this price. I stay at hotels 2-3 times and have stayed at very expensive hotels and very cheap hotels. This is an inexpensive hotel that easily compares to a name brand hotel at a much higher rate. A special section for GF breakfast, very new everywhere, large rooms, great beds and TVs, and wonderful service.

This is an excellent place to relax, sleep, and eat. We didn't get to swim as we were there for family needs. Comfy beds, great shower, great breakfast included in room rate. I recommend this hotel 100%.

Nice new property, friendly and helpful staff. Loud, drunk hockey parents and out of control kids running wild throughout the hotel. Hotel had the call the sherif on them for the 3rd time they I have stayed there.

Great place, friendly staff, nice rooms for the price. Breakfast and breakfast area is very roomy with good hot food and coffee bar open 24/7. Rooms are very clean and has a nice fridge and cabinet area

Beautiful hotel, comfortable beds, awesome shower, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. Well worth the money! Hopefully guests treat the hotel with care, it's a gorgeous newer hotel with great accommodations.

Staff was awesome. I appreciated not having my room announced while checking in and how helpful everyone was. Rooms were great and I loved being able to stream from my phone to the TV to watch the shows I wanted to watch!

Wow! What a fantastic hotel! Newer property and it shows. Nice furniture, breakfast, clean and friendly staff. Would definitely stay at this property again when back in the area. The rooms were really quiet and well decorated with mini fridge, microwave and coffee.

The customer service was horrible and the front desk lady was very very rude I didn't appreciate that if she is going to be in customer service maybe she needs more training and she told me that asking me for my driver's license was protocol I wasn't happy with her service

We were greeted by Heather she is so nice. She gave us information about places to see and eat at. We found the bedroom and bathroom clean with lots of light. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the lady running it was very good keeping the trays full and the tables clean It had lots of stores and restaurants around. We will definitely stay here again. The only thing was the air conditioner made a very loud noise when on and an awful sound when it shut off.

This hotel is new and awesome. Everything is clean and nice. It's quiet and the bed is soft and comfortable. The place is well thought out and a wonderful stay - better than anywhere else we've stayed in the area. Definitely the right choice!

This place is super nice. Very clean. Good exercise room and pool. Has daily breakfast specials. Everything is clean and smells clean. Very modern. Very large rooms. If it were allowed a large family could stay in the room, if some don't mind sleeping on the floor. There's room for that!

This hotel is new (opened Nov 2022). Modern decor and clean. Loved the spacious room (2 queens), very large TV and walk-in shower. Lots of outlets and high-backed chair plus circular table w chair. If you are a business traveler, you could set up a laptop at the circular table as there is no formal desk. Mid-week price was decent considering this is high season for vacationers in MN.

We spent a quiet night here. The lady who registered us was super-friendly and hospitable. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good -- more than just a pile of sweet rolls and cereal. Extra points for fat-free milk and low-sodium vegetable juice. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice, new hotel. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Very good location, close to shops and eating areas. Couldn't ask to say at a better place. I will come back next time I'm in Grand Rapids.

Great new hotel and experience for our team! We were here for a sports tournament weekend with our team and families. The hotel is well laid out for groups, breakfast was great, and the staff was amazing. They were friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. We'll be back!
