Best Western Plus Hotel Christopher Inn & Suites, Forney

All cleaning services were cancelled while we were there due to the holidays. Thermostat did not work. No coffee condiments in room. Lumpy mattress. Window curtain wands were not attached. Dresser drawers would not stay shut; kept sliding open.

Excellent price, excellent room sizes, very closed to Midland. My family and I really enjoy this excellent hotel, free coffee on the hallway . Great view for all the surrounding areas . Overall we loved it!

The hotel was great, everything was well maintained the staff are awesome and so welcoming and the manager was great as well and helpful when checking us in! I will definitely be returning to this hotel

Great hotel, great staff, and a really good breakfast! the manager katelynn was outstanding in helping us with everything, to diana who checked us in and she was very sweet. these 2 girls are awsome!!

All employees here are really great people! I have never felt so comfortable and "at home" when being away from home. These workers go above and beyond for there guest and do whatever they can to help! Also a HUGE thank you to Katelynn the manager on helping me out with our reservation and rates, and then after telling her we moved from California and are here looking for a rent house, SHE went above and beyond and helped us out with our situation, she is prime example of a good hearted and down to earth person! Katelynn, we really cant thank you enough!

I'm not sure what a hotel has to achieve to receive a PLUS designation, but this hotel was somewhat questionable in regards to that title. This place is outdated but sufficient. Beds are comfortable. TV reception frequently digitized. Remote controls are basic, don't work well & only work directly in front of the TV. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast variety. Did not like having to wait behind housekeeping staff to get coffee, only to have it left empty. We were glad for and used the microwave and mini fridge. My grandkids loved the pool. We got in a good workout in the fitness room. Very convenient location. They are pet friendly too. Overall, you get what you pay for. If you are on a tight budget, this place is a great fit. If you are looking for luxury and/or finer quality service and amenities, you need to choose elsewhere. Employees need to smile more. It was a good fit for my impromptu visit to see the grandkids.

Overnight stay with spouse and pet. Very clean room and common areas. Will return if in the area again. Great location just outside the greater Dallas area. Good selection of restaurants nearby. Overall a great value.

Always clean rooms, ac works great, ceiling fans are a great touch. Bathroom walk in showers are the best I ve been and the thick bath towels are great too. Always friendly staff. Manager and owner are on top of any issues no matter how small or big

Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was awesome with lot of varieties. All the staff that we met were friendly and accommodating. Internet worked well as well. It was just a wonderful experience for me and my husband.

This hotel is the best! The staff is very sweet and nice, housekeeping was top notch, the manage Katelynn was so kind and sweet she recommended the Las Harmonos for dinner and they have excellent service and great food! Will Definitely be back at this hotel when we come back to town! We felt so at home here

Very clean. The beds was clean and VERY comfortable bathrooms with clean overall the room was very clean Fitness room was clean the attendant was very careful and nice the conference room was very beautiful

Check in was easy and simple. Pet friendly. Great choices for breakfast from eggs, bacon, sausage, make your self waffle, cereal and fruit. Internet was fast and TV channels were plenty to choose from.

Staff are very uncaring, poor mngmnt. I slipped and fell on black ice. Was given wrong times for breakfast so didn't get to eat. Not enough room on here to write the story. Just stay away from this hotel if you want good service.

People at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The room was not clean properly. We stayed 3 nights. Clean sheets, towels and coffee were just for the arrival day. Since pets are allowed, Hotel needs to improve the cleaning. Location is great!

This Best Western was much better than my expectations. The bed was wonderful with many pillow options. We stay in a king suite which had a very comfortable couch, a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was spacious and had a shower with a bench. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Planned stay was 3 nights however due to plans changing we only needed the 1 night. Front desk was very accommodating even using our 3 gift certificates. We started using best western because we travel by motorcycle and they have always assured us and come through on those assurances that our form of travel would be welcomed. we now use this chain for all our travel

This was the first time in a long time that we stayed at a Best Western. We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The room was very nice and bed slept better than our previous night. Bathroom was very very modern .

Our group was travelling with a large number of travellers. We needed a number of rooms, on a holiday weekend, with many events occurring nearby. We were able to painlessly secure all the rooms that we needed. Nicole, the desk clerk on duty, pleasantly worked through all the details efficiently. When we arrived, the owner Joel S. was on hand to assist getting eveyrbody into their rooms. The rooms were modern and clean. It was extremely quiet. A number of fast food restaurants were within walking distance. There is a full, complementary breakfast. We had no complaints whatsoever, except parking for large vehicles (semi and box trucks was non-existent. Travelling frequently through this area, our group will certainly use this facility in the future.

My reservation went through without any issue's. My room was ready, clean and cool. Breakfast was fantastic! front desk personal was very polite and quick to address my business. The bagged cart worked well and there were three available to use.

The hotel was in an easy spot to get too and not too far from where I was playing Softball. The only part I didn't like is that the Electric went out for a couple of hours. Overall it's a very nice hotel

Stayed here with my family and it was okay. Not the best, but certainly not the worst. I cut everyone slack because we are in a pandemic so it was common to see they were understaffed. The room was clean for the most part, but there were a few insect in our room. Not bed bugs, just the same flying bugs from outside I saw when I first came in the hotel. The back door entry keycard machine is in a weird spot. The bushes like take over most of it and you have to lift the clear protector just to insert your card. And you're right under a light. Imagine coming back to the hotel at night. The light attracted bugs to you and the bushes had bugs so it was like a battle for your arm while trying to swipe in! Annoying. Took about 20 mins to check out because they only had one person working, no manager on duty, and the lady in front of me was making a complaint. So I had to wait until she was finished ranting before I could check out. Add another 10 mins because once it was my turn, the printer stopped working to give me a receipt lol. So I had to wait. I didn't mind. I've been in customer service so I am a very easy going customer when I go places because I understand. Overall, it was okay. Wouldn't be my first choice to stay again when I came back to visit family, but if there were no other options, I wouldn't be opposed.

This Hotel is great and clean. It is close to my family and I would highly recommend this hotel They have a breakfast and fitness room. I would recommend any one going to Forney to consider this hote. They will clean every day

We have stayed at Christopher Inn many times since 2012. The staff are friendly, efficient and responsive, The breakfast offerings are very good quality. We will always stay here when in Forney. It was conveniently located near historic downtown Forney and US 80. There are many restaurant options within a short distance.

Standard Western Hotel style and theme. Decor is nice and room is laid out well. Personally didn't use the hotel for more than a place to sleep, but c'est la vie Breakfast was very basic the first time I went, eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, toast. Second time I might have went too early or covid impacted the choices, but I didn't really see much for breakfast aside from coffee and bagels.

It started off great when I checked in but I messed up by not checking my room and leaving to go on a Valentine's date when I arrived after 11 the gentleman was busy on his phone after 7 mins I advised him my phone did not work so I couldn't call down told him my room smelled like a** ! I was then advised there was no other king rooms and I would b charged if I wanted to switch rooms because I should of said something when I checked in but remind you I checked in got my key and left! I asked for refund and was told there was no refunds! At this point I'm over it let me try to enjoy my night so now some drunks are knocking on the door and running! I call the front desk from my cell tell him my issues he hangs up ok whatever I go to sleep and wake up itching, come home and notice I have bites on my stomach and back!!! Best western count your days!

How dirty this place was for COVID is unacceptable! Not enough words allowed on this. They also never cleaned my room instead by switching the sign on the door. That's the effort you'll get here. Then when I did ask for my clean room they call me back 15-20mins later saying “our house keeping is about to leave for the day so they will hit your room at 930am the next day” I was already scheduled to check out the next day so regardless y'all had to clean it, finally!!! Also, I still have the voicemail...

Asked for late check out and got charged 139.99 for an approved late check out. When checking out acting GM Milton did not verify drivers license or credit card info. The room was very dusty with trash in the night stand. There was a voicemail left on the phone from late December, room had probably not been stayed in, cleaned or had any attention since. Would explain all the dust. I would not recommend a stay at this particular best western

I typically stay in Hilton hotels, but lacking one close by I stayed until he Christopher inn & suites Forney. Great service, and a really comfortable bed, along with only a $25 pet fee made it really easy to stay here over the holiday when I needed a night away from family. Friendly, welcoming staff, who were knowledgeable about the hotel, and a relatively updated room was great. Definitely recommend for a solid, clean atay with a comfortable bed. Didn't try breakfast or any other amenities as we arrived late. Aged color scheme was the only downside.

I always enjoy my stay. It's always fresh, clean and staff nice. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and major stores like Walmart, dollar general and family dollar. There is also an outlet close by.

We stayed for 5 night, rooms were clean and comfortable. There was however an incident with people next door smoking in the room and the smell leaked into our room. Management decided to move us to a different room.

I used to love staying at this Best Western but since it has been one of the only hotels in Forney for years it is showing wear and tear. Owners should plan a redo on furniture and make sure ceiling fans and sinks are working properly.

I have never been to a hotel where everything was perfect until now. Best Western Plus Christopher Inn & Suites in Forney, TX is the nicest hotel I have been to in a long time and I've been in hotels most of the year due to a fire in January in which I lost everything. Most of the hotels I've stayed in have been very stressful but this particular hotels let me know that people still care about people. At least in Forney, TX they do. Thank you Best Western Plus Christopher Inn & Suites! Can't wait to stay again!

Good hotel. But needs updating. Dated interior and room furnishings. Dresser drawers hard to close, etc. should have used COVID down time to update hotel. Can't comment on WiFi as I don't use but AT&T LTE only one or two bars in my second door central room. I would however recommend it and stay again.

I would prefer to have white linens instead of off white or dingy looking linens. Maybe make the rooms brighter with while paints and replace drapes. Not a lot of hotels serve hot breakfast anymore, but the breakfast is not tasty at all.

I stay more than 300 nights a year in hotels and am not easily impressed. This hotel met my expectations and I recommend it if you are in the area. They have a hot breakfast in spite of Covid, and their pool is open, where most are not. Hallways and all areas are clean and orderly, the hotel is quiet for the most part. There were kids in the room above me that were romping early, but that is no fault of the hotel, but rather that of parents who don't teach their kids how to behave themselves.

I thoroughly enjoy staying at this Best Western. All Staff Members are excellent at their job. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. There does not seem to be any safety or security issues day or night. Plenty of resturants within a few steps from the front door. I'll stay here everytime I come back to town. Thanks for a Great experience.

I have screenshots from Aug 25 at 11am attempting to book two rooms at $80 each on AAA. It could not be done, because of (I'm guessing) issues connecting to Best Western because of the influx of calls. I called the hotel directly, and was told the rate would be $109 and $119. I told the lady of what the website stated, and she said that was clickbait (I know that is a lie because I've booked with AAA many times, and have always got that price. She said she could let me have the rooms with the AAA discount, and it would be $98. I accepted this, because family was coming fleeing from Hurricane Laura, and needed a place to stay. They thought they would stay only 2 days, but needed to extend for 2 more. They were THEN told they would need to LEAVE the hotel, because the rooms had been booked up. I understand business, but to ATTEMPT to kick someone into the street evacuating a hurricane that they did not know WHAT would occur, is immoral. People began to go back home on Thursday, and they allowed my family to stay 2 more days, AT A HIGHER RATE! Fleecing victims of a storm should be illegal! You should be HAPPY that your rooms were being used! But instead, you guys extorted possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars from folks attempting to find shelter. That is a disgrace!

To address both issues, you had during your stay. I can assure you we were not extorting money from people. Rates can increase and decrease daily as all hotels do. Our base rate is $109.99, and it can fluctuate from there either up or down. When you tried to extend your room for 2 more nights and we were unable to do so, that was because someone had reserved that room in advance. We can not tell a guest that booked in advance that we can not honor their reservation due to another guest wanting to extend their current reservation. We understand the issue you were faced with and the stress you were under considering your circumstances. Luckily the guest that reserved the room you were in called to cancelled and we extended a courtesy cancellation and waived the cancellation fees so you would be able to stay the extra 2 nights you needed. I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience.

Absolutely the worst hotel stay i have ever had! Between the whole floor smelling like pot, and kids knocking on doors and running down the hallway and management thinking they did a good job by removing the problem at 4:30am and I had to be up at 6. Then saying no refunds can be issued. 0 stars from me.

This was our first stay at Best Western Hotels. We were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful decor of the property, that they are pet friendly and did not attempt to charge us fees equal to boarded our pet like most hotels. The hotel was extremely clean and made me feel safe while traveling over 4th of July holiday during Covid-19. We will stay at this hotel going forward and look for Best Western where every we travel.

There was blood in the sink and coffee grounds everywhere. The tv didn't work and it was a no smoking room that had been heavily smoked in. None of these problems were resolved in my 4 day stay. Would not recommend

I have stayed many times at this location because of family living in the area. Kaufman County under a mask order so the hotel staff was enforcing that with gusto. The room was not as clean as before and some of the fixtures not working correctly.

Staff was super nice and friendly. Very clean and breakfast was delicious. Surrounded by McDonald's, Waffle House, Taco Bell, Chicken Express, and a 7-11 all within walking distance. Right off Hwy. 80 .

Great time. Exceeded my expectations in every way. Grandchildren had fun in the pool. Very quiet rooms. Checking in and out was smooth and quick. Extremely Covid-19 compliant. Felt very safe from that prospective.

not a bad place to lay your head down for the night clean neat rooms friendly staff lock your belongings outside or they will be gone I had things stolen and another guy there said they stole his stuff as well

We stayed at this Best Western because we were there for a ball tournament. Due to the Coronavirus the remainder of the tournament was cancelled. Upon check out there was a problem with billing. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful but unable to fix the problem. She called the general manager Jessica Armour and she said she would be there in 45 mins, but we did not need to stay and she would fix the problem. She stayed true to her word. Fixed the problem and I had refund back on my card the following day. Jessica also called to let me know it was taken care of and emailed new receipt. Rooms and staff were great.

We booked a junior suite king bed (separate bedroom) with pullout sofa. The place is perfect! Bed is comfortable. Bathroom/shower awesome. Breakfast has some hot items, cold selections, and fruits. Easy access to/from US-80. Lots of gas stations and restaurants in the area. Guest laundry available. No complaints at all.

We were travelling through Texas and needed a place to stay before hitting Dallas. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and comfort here. Most BW have fallen into disrepair and reputation damage these days, so it was nice to find one that was nice.

this hotel is in a convenient location near the interstate so on and off was easy. there Tom was clean and gave a good feeling when entering. not like you get in other motels. this one felt like home. in fact im going to use some if these ideas on my next remodel!

Great stay was convienant to all amenities and local shops and restaurants breakfast was always hot and on point the shower was roomy and hot very soothing after a long hard day at work the only drawback was the ice machine was out of service but other than that it was a awesome experience

Stayed 5 nights.The one and only day we allowed housekeeping to come in they didn't clean very well and they didn't refill the coffee or shampoo. We had to go to the front desk to get it.The wifi connection was AWFUL.You're connected one minute, kicked off the next. We couldn't cool the room very well. The thermostat on the wall was not working at all and the wall unit didn't cool very well. The elevator was out of service. The tv was awful. It's too small for the room size, the picture quality was poor and the satellite (Directv) channels also had poor picture quality and had a very limited lineup. The outside lights under the canopy over the exit door we used were out the entire week so it was very dark if you were in/out at night. The food quality was just ok. All in all, would not recommend unless they address these issues.

I want to start by saying I am sorry your stay here at the Best Western Plus Christopher Inn & Suites was not to your satisfaction. My staff and myself take pride in our hotel and try to make each guests stay exceptionable. I wish you had let myself or the front desk clerk(s) know the issues you were having during your stay so we could have tried to resolve them while you were here. We will be upgrading the TV size this year and we have technicans that trouble shoot problems with Direct TV and the Wifi connections. My maintenance man could have resolved some of your issues had we know about them during your stay. Again I apologize that you encountered issues during your stay with us. I will use your feedback to help provide our future guests will an expectional experience.

This hotel has an awesome view. It is close to to everything we wanted to see or do. The best thing about our stay here was the service, especially at the desk. People are warm, friendly & go the extra mile to make sure their guests are comfortable and well taken care of. Will definitely be staying there again!

We enjoyed our stay there . Not much for semi truck parking and very tight to try to get around . There is a place that has gated parking a few doors over 15 dollars a night but make sure you get there early not a lot and Also some reserved so sells out quick.

My wife and I went to Best Western Christopher after a long day on the road. The receptionist was very friendly and after asking about discounts offered, he let us know which one was the best and applied it to our rate. The room was very clean, everything worked as it was supposed to and very quiet, a big plus. If we are in the area, we will definitely try to get accommodations here again.

Nice, quiet place to rest, good size TV, cute pool to beat the heat for those 5+ but not younger, great breakfast included in the stay saves time and money, nearby restaurants and stores. The hot water appeared in the shower quickly, no long wait.

Booked here last minute needing early check in and pet friendly. Jessica was incredibly helpful, met my needs and the entire staff was wonderful. Close to downtown Dallas attractions without the extra downtown Dallas fees. Breakfast had a nice selection as well.

Stayed here numerous times. Probably the last due to bad service at the desk. Got stuck paying for an extra night due to individual who took reservations and was there at check in. The individual put us in a day early. We never received a confirmation, which I always check to verify that all information is correct. Desk attendant wanted to argue the point instead of finding a resolution. Due to the late time of day and arriving after long trip I gave in and took the hit on the room.

We had a king bed suite with a king and a sofa(pull out if needed). In the room was also refrigerator (really roomy) and microwave. The shower had a sit down built in and television was equipped with hbo. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and more food was put out immediately when needed. We enjoyed the stay.

This has always been the best Best Western. Upon check in I was told that they given me a complimentary upgrade which was great! The room was spacious with a stand alone shower that could never be matched! I was in it forever!! The staff was informative and very attentive. In the middle of the night I was ill and needed an emergency room. The night clerk was so helpful, offering to call an ambulance. I wasn't that ill and could drive myself and he gave perfect directions and asked me to let him know when I returned. The Best! I have stayed at this specific hotel and will continue to do so. Never disappointed and always safe with a good nights sleep.

Very clean rooms the property was nice right by some restaurants just a walk away.. the only thing was they need new towels took a shower and grab a towel with 3 big holes in it but other then that we will staying again.. the breakfast was ok the next day we went to the waffle House

Great hotel!! Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is decent, needs more variety in the daily rotation. I would definitely stay again. Only complaint, They need new TVs, they are horrible!

I'm the one that usually posts when I'm not happy with a place. This Hotel was by far the nicest hotel we have stayed in awhile. Extremely clean. Smells cleans. Pool was clean. Our room was clean, no dust places or things not wiped down like other hotels. Staff was extremely helpful, good personality, willing to help or answer questions with no attitude. Good customer service. We travel often due to sports tournaments and stay at hotels. I would recommend this hotel.. there is a brand new one being built next door and not open yet.. stay here first! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

At first we were very skeptical about staying at a Best Western because we only booked through Hilton or Marriott for our hotel stays. BUT!!!!! I have to say that Best Western Plus out did themselves and my expectations! We booked 4 rooms and we were all so pleased with the customer service, the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms were gorgeous! The only negative I have is the breakfast - sorry! BUT there is always Waffle House next door.

It's a nice Best Western. Rooms were spacious, and there were no issues. Breakfast was good. It was a good stay for the price. Three things kept it from being a five-star review. The pool was closed. It's not the easiest to get to (you have to go through the parking lot of a restaurant or two). And there was a front-desk staffer more interested in his personal phone call than counting the cash drawer at shift change and helping re-program a card key. Regardless, I would stay there again and recommend.

I am sorry the pool was not open during your stay with use. We were waiting for a part and could not open the pool without it. The part has since arrived and we were able to open the pool this past weekend. If you are in the area in the future I hope you will stay with us again.

We have stayed here every time we visit our son. It was for graduation this week. The pool was not opened, as it was advertised. We had all our swim gear to enjoy it with our family. Our room was dirty. There was an Ozarko water bottle in the corner below the lamp when we got there, still was when we left. We paid base cost of 129 on Tuesday night yet 109 on Wednesday night. Graduation was Wednesday. Makes a person wonder about price gouging. I asked for a room close to elevator for my husband with walking issues. Our room was 201, the furthest away! I made this reservation last November. The desk clerk said it must have been the only room left. Really?! On a positive note, they did bring me extra pillows.

We were not able to open our pool until early Friday (5/24) afternoon as we were waiting for a part to arrive and the pool could not be open without it. I am sorry we were unable to accommodate your request for a room close to the elevator. We try our best to accommodate all request however sometimes that's not possible. As for the rate, our rates change on a daily basis and due to the 2 graduations the rate for Tuesday nights stay was higher. I will look into the cleanliness of your room and again apologize that your stay was not up to your satisfaction. I hope you will stay with us again so that we can provide you with excellent service and give you an outstanding experience.

Everything was great. Room, the breakfast and the service we received. From the cleaning of the room to breakfast every morning. Front service was excellent. They were friendly and courteous. The lighting in the room could have been better. especially for us seniors.

This hotel is clean (looks new), smells great, and has great staff and breakfast!! At early check in, the staff went out of their way to make sure my family got into 2 rooms next to each other, they were cleaned then they were inspected as I waited outside the doors. The staff greeted us with respect, professionalism and a smile on each of our 3-day stay!! The beds were comfortable and the rooms had a slight citrus, clean smell. Everything from the floor to the ceiling was cleaned and wiped down, even the ceiling fan. Every morning the breakfast staff had a great selection of food to choose from, both hot and cold items, and were ready and available to replenish each item as needed with a smile. Upon checkout, they wished us well and ensured we had a great stay. I have nothing but praise for this hotel and it's staff!! Thank you for a great stay!

I had the pleasure at staying at the Best Western Plus Christopher Inn. From the start, the General Manager Jessica and the Associate Manager Christy were very welcoming. There was an issue with my booking which was done through booking.com, but Jessica made sure my check-in was seamless. I also had a great experience with the housekeeping staff especially Kerri who was super helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was really great and Brenda did a great job on all the breakfast food. Thank you again Brenda for the super crispy bacon. All my breakfasts during my stay were delicious. The inn and suites are beautifully decorated. With warm undertones. The hotel staff and friendly, professional. and provide excellent service. The breakfast buffet is superb. The eggs were freshly made. And not cut out of a bag. The buffet included eggs both scrambled and fried, bacon, sausage, potatoes, burritos, flour tortillas, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, pastries, condiments and fruit. The beverages included: Coffee, tea, milk, juice, hot cocoa, and water. Our room is well decorated and inviting. It makes a nice home away from home. While we are visiting loved ones and traveling.

Stayed here for a wedding visit to Forney. Very clean and well appointed rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Large shower stall with great spray head. There are a number of fast food restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend.

The staff on duty (every one of them) were extremely helpful. Lady friend (20 years) was there to attend my wife's Funeral service and burial in a city near the hotel. The staff ( all that night and next morning) took extra care upon arrival and departure!

The room was clean and a reasonable amount of square footage. The complimentary breakfasts were varied and had a decent amount of selection. The food was not awesome, but certainly good enough. We stayed there four nights and had no problems. The service desk employees were efficient and the employees in the eating area were pleasant.

We came to this area to retrieve a rescue dog. Everyone was very nice and helpful Front desk ladies were super.There was no hair dryer in the room so front desk employee promptly got me one. Very nice stay. Convenient location to where we needed to be. Easy access to restaurants

I recently had a 2 night stay at this hotel. The first night no sleep as there was a party going on on the floor I was staying on, people coming and going pretty much all through the night, shouting in the corridors, slamming doors, radios blaring. A complaint was put to the front desk but it clearly didn't make any difference. The second night again no sleep, a very amorous couple kept the whole floor up the whole night, I went to the front desk twice to ask them to call the room and request they keep the noise down, this made no difference so I knocked on the guest door and was yelled and cursed at which I really didn't appreciate. My young daughter was with me and was very upset and scared, especially as this was her second night with very little sleep. Very poor quality hotel. Bathroom unclean as well. A complete rip off.

If you would be willing to contact the hotel in the evening and ask for the Assistant General Manager I would like to try and resolve this problem to both of our satisfaction. We try to meet and exceed our guests expectations however sometimes this is not possible.

The desk clerks are not very informative. The Management is very great though.I had problems with the TV the whole time i was there .The management spent lots of time trying things and working on it . I agree with a previous poster, It is loud . The doors slam shut . The people above us were like a bunch of banshee running around. So we have a fan and put that on high and never hear a peep. Only way to stay in a hotel!! Christy thanks for going above and beyond for us !!!

No hot water the last night after a 5 day stay. Was told they would not charge me for the night I didn't stay if I left. Very noisy location. 24 hour fast food restaurants in the same area was the local hang out for loud cars and revving engines at all hours. Hotel was clean and the breakfast was good for being free.

Perfect location. The area had all I needed close by. The BW is off a major highway. I was so glad to be there. My room was close, clean, and had all my needs. A gentlemen name Alex checked us in. He was very professional. He pointed out the parking closest to your room, gave breakfast information, and said if we have question the staff would be available at anytime. I am a Marine Vet and has used the Best Western hotels in my military career. I have never been disappointed. The Best Western Christopher is surely a place to stay. I

If you are looking to stay in Forney, this is the place you should stay. The hotel is clean, updated and convenient to I20. The beds are comfortable. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong staying at this hotel.

I stayed at this best western location on the weekend of August 18th, I have no complaints, the hotel itself along with the rooms is very clean , clean Hallways, clean on the outside and everything else that comes with this hotel. The breakfast has a wide selection and was always very yummy. Right in front of the hotel are a few places to eat, a Taco Bell, McDonald's, chicken express, Waffle House, and a gas station, very cinvinient, at a walking distance. From now on every time I go to stay in that part of Texas, I will be staying there. The pricing is not so much on the cheaper side, but what is cheap nowadays. However, it's very worth it for a comfortable, safe feeling stay.

We had to be out of our house for a couple of days, with our dog. The property is well maintained, and the staff are very friendly. The poop stations are on the south end of the building(McDonald's end). Fast food and restaurants are very close by. I would have given them a higher score but the carpet in the room needs a deep cleaning.

The room is clean, checkin is quick, breakfast is on time, and coffee is plentiful. This hotel is our go-to for visits with family in the Forney area. The floors can be noisy when a bit busy, with kids running up and down, and doors opening and closing, when the hotel is close to or full with kids sporting events. Elevator was recently spiffed up with a nice mirror arrangement.

Great hotel with wonderful amenities. A real hot breakfast that changes daily. Comfortable room with a ceiling fan, fridge, and microwave. Ample parking! A real surprise for such a small town. Lots of restaurants nearby, grocery store too. Really close to highway, but I never heard it. (And I was on the end of the hotel closest to it) Staff is available for as much or as little as you need.

I travel frequently on business and usually stay in higher end hotels. I have to say my stay at the Best Western in Forney was great. We are remodeling and needed a place to stay. The rooms are as nice if not nicer than the higher end hotels I've stayed in, not to mention the food and coffee were a whole lot betteras well. The staff and GM are some of the most friendly pleasant and accommodating people you will meet. Stay here anytime your in the area.

We spent a night for a wedding and this place is excellent. The bed was soft, the rooms were clean and the complimentary breakfast included hot food (scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy) along with cereal, boiled eggs, etc. Other details: Big bathroom, a mini fridge and good storage space in the room. We didn't use the pool or fitness center. Lone complaint: Water pressure could have been stronger in the shower. It was strong on a warm shower but it wasn't as strong on hot. Location: Right off US 80 but it was a quiet night's sleep. In the parking lot are restaurants that include Taco Bell, McDonald's, Waffle House, fast food chicken place (can't remember name) and a convenience store. Price: We paid $96.60 (including taxes) for room with king bed. Felt like it was a great value.

Came home from vacation on July 3. Found air conditioner went out. 83 degrees inside house and climbing since it was over 100 degrees outside. Called for service, couldn't arrive until much, much later due to holiday. Checked website for Best Western Forney: they had rooms available. Booked double queen room, checked in with our 6 year old grandson who was visiting. Front desk welcomed us like long lost family and gave us an excellent corner room that's a bit larger than average. Great room, very comfortable beds, extremely clean and quiet. Excellent value for the price and kept us cool all night! Next morning, Brenda in the dining room prepared a beautiful, bountiful buffet with hot and cold breakfast items. Even had fried eggs! Brenda was very friendly and welcoming by visiting with each guest all while keeping the buffet well stocked with freshly prepared items and clean. Brenda welcomed our grandson as if he were one of her own. If you are fortunate to stay here when Brenda is working, you are in for a treat. I highly recommend Best Western Forney.

Lots of parking and easy to get to. Checkin was fast and friendly. Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, cereal, pastries. Room had a microwave and mini fridge which stayed very cold. Walls were a little thin, but overall a nice place to stay. 24 hr Waffle House and Cicken xpress are in their parking lot and in just a few steps from the hotel front door. Everything worked fine, shower nice and hot. Did not see/use the pool. King bed very comfy.

My family and I stayed at this BW in Forney for our daughter's softball tournament. I've never been more impressed with a hotel as this one! It is beautiful and more importantly the cleanliness of the hotel was immaculate! We've stayed in a lot of hotels and this one is by far the best. The breakfast area was large and very organized. The breakfast staff was more than happy to help and they kept the hot plates full of fresh food! Any staff we encountered was hospitable and friendly. We took advantage of the pool and enjoyed it very much. The pool would be the only thing I would work on. It seemed a bit dated and the skimmers didnt seem to do much as far as bugs and leaves. It wasn't horrible at all but didn't meet our expectations after seeing the rest of the hotel. There are several fast food restaurants within walking distance too!

We were in town for graduation and it was a lovely stay at this Best Western! The night and morning clerks were very polite and happy to have us. The room was nice and cool when we got there so that was really great. Having been out in the 90 degree heat for hours that day it was so nice to not come into a hot stuffy room like you do almost everywhere when you check in. The beds were comfy and the room was very clean. The breakfast had a lot of choices and it was good as well. I will Absolutley stay here again when I come back to town to visit local family.

The Best Western Plus Christopher Inn is the best hotel I've stayed in. I travel and stay in hotels once a month and this hotel exceeds every expectation. It is located around everything from stores to restaurants. The staff was friendly and professional. I had forgotten my tax exempt form and they simply provided me with one. The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. I don't normally notice decor, but you can't help it here. It is very tastefully decorated. Another thing I liked was the wall controlled thermostat. It controls the temperature of the whole room as opposed to one located on the unit. I also enjoyed the full length shower rather than a tub. The bed was comfortable and the wi-fi worked extremely well. Another amenity that impressed me was the ceiling fan with a wall control. It appears they thought of almost everything. The hot breakfast was great every day. The kitchen staff seemed to have great pride in what they served. Not one time was there cold or overcooked food or over ripe fruit. This is the best free breakfast I've ever had. A couple of suggestions. A towel bar in the bathroom would be convenient and while the upright bathroom sink is stylish, it tends to splash water on the bathroom counter. Lastly, I was not a fan of the three ceiling fan lights. It seemed no matter where I sat, one of them was shining right in my face. All in all, this place is a jewel. You will not be disappointed staying here.

I was leery of staying in a Best Western, but our one-night stay here was great! Breakfast on Saturday was from 6-10am, and when we got there right at 6, everything was set out and a few people were there eating already. They had a simple coffee bar, including hot water and a variety of teas; biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links and patties, muffins and pastries, waffle maker and toaster, cereal dispenser, whole, 2%, and almond milk, juice fountain drink machine, oatmeal with 6 options for toppings, boiled eggs, and 2 choices of yogurt cups. We had no problems with our room, and we were able to get a roll-away crib. Using the coffee maker in the room did not cause extra fees, but it makes coffee a bit weak. The de-caf airpot in the dining room stayed full, and was a better strength of brew. The outside pool was clean and big enough to comfortably accommodate the 5 families with kids who were using it at the time we swam. The pillows were too soft for our liking, but we usually bring our own, so that's not a detracting point for me.

Clean, friendly, amazing breakfast selection and pleasant. I loved it here! I will be back the next time I am in Texas! The room was perfect just for me with a king size bed and a view from the 3rd floor which overlooked the area behind the hotel.

The hotel was out of rooms for the weekend so I paid a higher price for a mini suite at a much higher price. The room was hot, air condition was not working properly. My family went down to eat breakfast and the food was not fresh, so we had to go outside the hotel to eat breakfast two days in a row. I travel 80 percent of the time for work, I was on a pleasure trip this weekend with my family. I will not stay at this location again and will probably think hard about staying in a Best Western.

This was our second stay at this Best Western and I must say a much improved and enjoyable one. The room (a Junior Suite on the first floor) was very nice and quiet for the most part. The breakfast was good, hot and tasty - much improved over our first stay a year ago. Thanks for the improvements. We will stay there again.

The front desk clerk had the pre reservation all correct. I have a dog and our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. This is a great place to stay. Breakfast was great. I really enjoyed the Texas waffle with blueberries on it. Only downside was the bed, but I have trouble sleeping on most beds. Very friendly staff and clean. The state DOT closed down the exit ramp to get to the hotel from the airport so you have to go to the next ramp and backtrack less than a mile.

The first thing that my wife noticed was a bunch of black hair on the kitchen floor. The furniture is old and worn out. the bed gave us both a back ache. There were cracks in the walls, and loose tiles in the bathroom. The food for breakfast kinda sucked as well, I was glad that there was a Waffle House out front.

My husband and I came to Forney, TX to visit two of our children and their families. We stayed at the Best Western Christopher Inn. The hotel is superb. The staff is friendly and helpful. When we arrived, with no reservation, all the King rooms were occupied, so they gave us a suite for he same price as a King. We had a very nice stay. The room was very clean, the breakfast was a combination of continental with the addition of scrambled eggs, oatmeal, sausage, and biscuits. They also had breakfast on Christmas day. I've been to places that close the breakfast room for holidays, but they remained open and friendly. It was also very quiet in our room. Thank you, Best Western, for a wonderful stay!

great service. Breakfast was good, fresh and with different options. Rooms are clean and smell good. Fitness room is a little crowded but it offers different machinery. Hotel is hard to see from the road. I did not have a chance to go to the swimming pool, but from the hallway it looked clean and with tables around the pool; it also has a little roofed area if you do not want to get a tan. if possible place signs directing people to hotel.

We were welcomed by the most pleasant and professional young lady (could be a stand in for Sally Field). She gave us great directions for dinner and things to see in Dallas. Our room was a junior suite - totally comfortable, roomy, clean, etc. We were so pleased that we stayed 2 more nights instead of finding a different B.W. each night during our visit (which we typically do). The flat screen TV can be tilted and viewed comfortably from the couch or bed. WiFi worked well. The breakfast was good - I love the Texas-shaped waffles. Parking was free, and seemed very safe.

Great as always, when we are in the Dallas area this is the ONLY place we will stay. From making sure our check in is quick and easy, considering we had been driving all night from Kansas, to clean nice rooms. We especially like the little touches Brenda gives to Breakfast, everything is hot and fresh and she is always on hand if you need something. Thank you Brenda. I could go on and on about BW Christopher, it is located in Forney, TX and just a hop, skip and jump from everything. This is a clean and easy to find local Best Western in Forney, Texas. Used this for business travel this August, and had a nice stay. Local food and access is great. The Hotel Staff was great to me. Very helpful. The Pool was nice, easy to access, clean. All in all, I'd recommend this to anyone. No reservations about that recommendation.

The hotel is nice and the rooms are clean. My issue is the amount of cameras covering the parking lot. My car was broken into one time and attempts have been tried other times. I will not be staying at this hotel again until they have better security for the guests cars.

This is an exceptional hotel. Extremely clean and well cared for facility and very friendly staff. The free breakfast was excellent too. I feel very sure I will stay here again. My only concern is I would like the price to be a little lower.

Pulled back the sheets to find long strands of someones hair in my bed. Sheets did not look very clean. staff was friendly enough, especially the guy at the front desk he went over everything from breakfast to checkout time.

The staff went above and beyond to help us check in! Great location and comfy beds. Breakfast was great and had an assortment of food. Our family enjoyed this stay traveling with 5 kids is hard and this stay was easy.

My elderly parents and I stayed one night in a room with double queen beds, so did not make full use of all the amenities. However, breakfast was satisfying. Staff was very professional when checking in and out. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Bathroom was spacious and well stocked with towels and toiletries. Hotel looks to be fairly new. There is only two in Forney and I would highly recommend this one over the other. Reasonably priced as well.

I booked this hotel over the phone via the reservation line. I requested a pet friendly room and was told I was good to go. I called the hotel the day before my arrival date to confirm my reservation status. The front desk said I was NOT in a pet friendly room. He then proceeded to tell me that he couldn't change my room, I would have to wait for a manager to call me back. The manager called me back a few hours later, down-graded my room and tried to charge me the same price. After some negation, I was given the lesser price. When I arrived, everything was fine. The room was clean and sufficient. Oh and their pet policy is that you can't leave your pet in the room alone ever. Not even in a cage. So how are you supposed to go to dinner? Or a movie? Or anything to unwind? You can't leave the pet in the car, it's too hot. So I guess you are supposed to just stay in your room the entire time? Definitely wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it if you have a pet.

Our policy is that we ask that pets are not left unattended in the rooms for long periods of time as this can cause issues with other guests. Good looking hotel with great staff. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The elevator was sort of slow for a new hotel but that wasn't a big issue. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was nice and warm.

From the parking lot to the room everything was very nice and Clean! The staff members were very nice and helpful. Check-in and checkout were both fast and easy. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We were attending a family reunion and one of the staff members kept warning us to get out of breakfast area before 2 so they could clean. We were talking and not making a mess. We got the message the first time and it was unnecessary to remind us many times. other than that incident it was a nice place to stay. The breakfast staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The first rooms we occupied were called junior suites and had a open floor plan and little privacy. Second set of rooms had more privacy. Biling confusing and only given partial billing. Rooms reserved in another family members name. Rates seen a little high.

My wife and I came to Forney to visit our daughter. We decided on the Best Western Plus Christopher Inn and Suites because of their good location, accommodations and positive Tripadvisor reviews. This hotel lived up to all our expectations. When we arrived, the hotel was in a great location near area restaurants, gas stations and major roads. It had a modern and clean appearance. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. They had a lower floor room available so we took it knowing that we could probably change to a higher floor later in the week. Although they were not able to accommodate our request, we found our room to be fine. The room was very clean and neat. It was large and had plenty of chairs and a 32 inch TV. It should have been bigger for the room size but it was adequate. The bed was very comfortable. Despite being on the main hallway, it was very quiet. The breakfast was satisfactory with some healthy choices to eat. Overall, the accommodations were very good. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We recommend this hotel when in Forney or southeast Dallas. You will not be disappointed.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Best Western in Forney, Tx. It was very clean. All of the staff was friendly, engaging. Asked how your day was going. The room was large, but the best was how comfortable the bed was. Plenty of extra pillows. The free breakfast was wonderful. Plenty of choices including hot food. I would definately stay here again when I am in town.

The Best Western Plus Christopher Inn & Suites in Forney was lovely. The rooms are clean, the decor is modern, and the beds are comfortable. It had been years since I had stayed in a Best Western, and I was pleasantly surprised. The only drawback of this hotel was the front desk staff. We had to ring a bell in order to have a staff member come to the desk so we could check-in and check-out, and we never saw an attendant at the front desk to greet or appear available to guests when we were coming or going.

Just home from 4 days at this Best Western in Forney, TX. My room was so nice and quiet on the first floor. The only thing that was a tad annoying is that I did hear people going outside by the door outside my room....a small price for the quality and size room I was in. Love and hate the sweet shop by the front desk. All kinds of ice cream, drinks and things that are too convenient for me! Too easy to get ice cream every day! Great free parking, very clean and inviting pool and workout room. If you are in the area, don't pass this one up. Chicken Express, McDonald's and Taco Bell are only steps away.

I've stayed in Best Westerns before, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. We stayed here because of a family get-together and chose this Best Western because of its proximity to the event and because of ratings I read here on Trip Advisor. I'm not sure how old the hotel is or if it was remodeled recently, but it's a lovely building inside and out. From the roomy and welcoming front desk to the nice marble floors and very large breakfast room, this Best Western Plus has it all over other area hotels of its class. The front staff, the first people you see who make the first impression, were the epitome of my definition of customer service...very friendly and accommodating! The housekeeping staff were so friendly and our room was always cleaned pretty much to my satisfaction (sometimes forgetting to empty garbage cans, but that's minor). We had a king suite and the sofa bed on which my traveling partner decided to sleep (who was my 83-year-old mom with multiple joint pains) was apparently extremely comfortable because she didn't want the king bed! There were plenty of pillows which I like, and I was particularly impressed with the TV remote which was advertised as easy to clean. We always clean the TV remotes anywhere my husband and I stay because no one usually does. The one was cleaned and placed back into its holder every day. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bathroom was very large and modern, and we had a walk-in shower that had a sitting area, a rain shower head and two more shower jets...nice touch! The breakfast eating area was surprisingly spacious and kept very clean...nice job, staff! The breakfast is mediocre but free is free. They did change it up a little the 4 days we were there but it's the usual eggs, potato cubes, sausage, make-your-own waffle, bagels, toast, cereal and muffins along with juices, milk and coffee. It's fine for what it is. There is a nice business office with two computers, but they were usually taken up by kids playing their computer games on them so we had a hard time trying to print our boarding passes and had to wait until 11pm before we could get on one of them. The only drawback is the pool is outside and for the middle of May it was still too cold to swim in it. I didn't see anyone there the 4 days we stayed. It was inviting and all, but it would have been nice to have it heated so it can be used for a longer period of time. Don't hesitate to book this hotel for your family if you plan to visit Forney. The price is definitely right and it's right off I-80. Great stay, and great job everyone!

This is the best Best Western we have ever stayed at. We stay here anytime we visit our daughter in Forney. We usually get the suite since we have a teenager. It is CLEAN! The room is large (we have only stayed in the suite and in one bedroom suite) It is one of the quietest hotels we have stayed at. The staff is friendly. The extra sheets, blankets and pillows for the sofa sleeper were already in the room. At other hotels we end up having to ask for those items, which is not fun when you are coming in late and are tired from driving for hours. The breakfast is great, too!

Rooms was great Tv could be a little bigger big bed small tv don't match but over all a perfect ten close to many many restaurants and 2 minutes walking from 24 hour McDonald's Very professional staff

Overall, an ok hotel, but there were several annoyances that ruined the stay. Understaffed front desk, tv remote not working, temperature control very flaky, something mechanical making a lot of noise, etc. Would not stay here again.

This is a great place to stay! Very clean, rooms nice, and bed comfortable! The breakfast was actually very nice as well. I loved the fact they had hard boiled eggs on their breakfast bar, this really helps when you're trying to eat low carb!

We love this hotel! It is so clean and nice. I never had any problems and enjoyed the stay. My family loves this hotel. It is a perfect place to go and relax. When we need a nice getaway its our go to place. Nice location and nice hotel.

We stay here due to being close to our son. The place is clean and comfortable. It's awesome not to hear people beside you! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Great location with restaurants close by. We'll be back.

First trip to Forney. It was nice. The staff was very accommodating when our plans changed. It was a very nice clean establishment. We had 4 rooms they were all excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient we had a very nice stay.

Excellent check in and check out experience. Helpful staff. Room was clean. Shower was awesome. Stayed in a Junior Suite. Tons of room! Convenient to what we wanted to get to that weekend. Good breakfast too!

I was actual on business but my stay felt like leisure. The room was beautiful. Its was clean and very spacious. My husband was in aaaww at how lovely it was. He wanted to stay one more day but we had to get back home. The staff was such a delight. They were like friends. They were warm inviting and easy to talk too. They laughted with us and allowed us to call them by their first names. This hotel I will stay again and will recommend family and friends. I only had one gripe. I don't drink coffee. I love hot chocolate and there wasn't any. With the beautiful people and inviting accommodations I was ok with going to a near by store to purchase my own. I will still return to this hotel with hot chocolate in hand. I sign up to be a member before making my reservations and glad I did. Thank you so much for a great stay.

We attended our grandson's football game in Forney, then stayed at this hotel which was very clean and quiet. The staff was very professional and friendly! We enjoyed the hot breakfast and then ventured on to Canton Trade Days!

Large rooms, very clean, and great breakfast and very helpful staff. Close to Dallas so since it is half the price of most hotels there and the rooms are so much larger and cleaner this is where I always stay.

Loved our stay here! Just a quick 20 minute jaunt into the city from this hotel. Our room was very clean and all staff was extremely nice! We will not hesitate to book this hotel again on our next visit!

It was late, dark, raining, the weather getting colder when I arrived at BW Forney...it was great to see a familiar face with warm cheer and a quick check in so that I could unwind for peaceful night! A comfy bed with a fluffy comforter, the slow motion of the ceiling fan, the gentle rain, and I was gone...thank you BW!

We arrived on the 19th of September and stayed two nights...it was awesome...the hotel is very clean...beds and pillows were sooooooooo inviting and comfy. Every employee we came in contact with was so very helpful and pleasant as well....Breakfast was nice and filling. The ladies at the breakfast bar were so sweet. We will be back in April....I cat wait! Thank yo so much to all the staff for making some tired people comfortable and welcomed! If you are traveling to the Forney/Terrell area, this is the only place you should consider staying at. The hotel is very nice. The rooms are very spacious and very comfortable. They provide all the necessary amenities. The breakfasts are wonderful and are included free with your stay. It is a full breakfast offering most anything you could want including waffles in the shape of Texas! I don't even consider staying anywhere else when traveling to this area!

I stay here everytime I travel to Terrell for work. It is excellent for the price and the breakfasts are wonderful and free! The rooms are very large and have everything you need. The beds are very, very comfortable. The staff is very pleasant. I would not stay anywhere else!

Don't lie to me. When you have a Hotel that is new and cannot provide Hot Water, don't lie about it. Price of room changed overnight. Lied on Both account and no Hot Water. Said that certain times of day, no hot water. That was a Lie

We love this hotel. Staff are always friendly and helpful. It feels good to be greeted like family not just a customer. Rooms are spacious and clean bathrooms too. Would rate higher if there more stars

Had to make it through Dallas to avoid rush hour traffic when traveling though the area back home to LA, this hotel was in the perfect location. Employees were very helpful. Room was spotless and clean very nice stay. It's close to the highway so easy for an on off trip. Breakfast was great and had gluten free options which is great for some one like me with celiac! Defiantly a great hotel. Rooms were super nice with lovely cabinetry and fixtures there was even a ceiling FAN!

100% satisfied with our stay at the BW in Forney, TX. The staff was personable, quick service, extremely clean (which is of extreme importance to me), pool was clean, the complimentary full breakfast had something for each of us, rooms provided microwave, lots of cupboard space, fridge/freezer and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel as my family and I really enjoyed our stay.

Over-all appearance was good. Our room was too close to the dinning area and elevator, which at times was disturbing. The meals (Saturday & Sunday) were edible but the coffee was as weak as dish water. I would probably stay here again, selecting a different room, because it was about a five minute drive to my families home.

We were on the 2nd floor. We had 2 rooms due to the size of our family. The beds were very comfortable. The room is nice and spacious. We liked the microwave, refrigerator set up. The only complaint I have is that my room did not get vacuumed between the 2 days I stayed. The front desk was very friendly. I have already booked a return visit since my son moved to Forney.

Nice, clean rooms. I would stay there again. No weird smells and rooms were nice. They have free breakfast, which is always a plus. The beds were not bad, but were not the comfiest I have ever slept in, but I would definitely stay there again.

I have to stay here a few times a year for work and I kind of look forward to it. The rooms are enormous, the beds are comfy, the breakfast is great, and the staff is always really nice and accommodating.

Stay away from the elevator area and stair case tends to be a little loud... Overall and floor was nice. I have stayed on all floors it was great. Location has quick access to many local eating places and shopping area.

We stayed for 7 nights. We got the week long discount. Staff went above and beyond to help any way they could. Ourckibg 2 room suite was great. Pool was clean. Breakfast each morning was very nice. Housekeeping was great always had clean towels and they changed the sheets during our stay. It was convenient to hwy 80 and I 20. We were there to visit family. Will absolutely stay again. Thanks for a great experience.

We stayed 1 night ... Price was good, staff courteous, only issue one outside door wouldn't open from out side....breakfast ended a little early... But plenty of coffee... Only staff that wasn't very friendly was the man doing breakfast...

Our stay was great. The pricing could have been better, but other than that it was good. The room was clean and the staff was great. We were there for a basketball tournament, and they made sure we were all on the same floor.

I stayed here three nights. Check in was a breeze and there are restaurants and fast foods within walking distance. The room was on the first floor and it was super cool and quiet. Plenty of hot water and exceptional bed. The only negative is that they have a 24 hour snack shop that is too convenient. I couldn't pass it up without getting ice cream! Terrific location, easy to leave and go East or West. Will certainly be staying here again.

Although we had a small problem locating the hotel we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and clean at bed was very comfortable. We would recomend this hotel anyone.

Stayed two night. Really clean and quiet. Smelled clean as well. Service was exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only issue I know of is the wifi kept dropping but was no big deal. The whole place was surprisingly quiet, no outside noise. We will be back.

The room was clean, furnished well with a very comfortable in-room temperature control and a friendly pet policy. We didn't have the breakfast because we got up too late, but the front desk provided us with a to-go breakfast in brown paper bag. Water, apple and a nutrigrain bar.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was large and clean. Nicely updated with a real comfortable bed and a great shower instead of a tub. The staff was friendly. We were traveling with our small dog and it can be hard to find a nice and clean "pet friendly" hotel. I would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it with or without pets. Very easy on, off the highway. Nice food choices around too.

We will stay here again the staff was very helpful and the decor is very Soho lush and unexpectedly Fancy! Beautiful Property( not as far off road as it looks in the photo). They went out of their way to help us as we were not from Forney. We found it to be a special town with lots more to see and do than you would expect and that this Hotel is located actually central to a lot more thn we thought at first. I had no problems with the room but I did find cookie crumbs in a chair reported it to front desk and immediately they noted it for Housekeeping. Lobby nice, elevator makes it conveninet for travelers.Thanks Staff!

We stayed at this property for two nights (Friday and Saturday). Room 215 is a two room suite for handicapped guests – though we are not handicapped. From what I observed, this hotel has a high occupancy rate. I recommend that you book in advance. With all taxes, and with an AAA discount, the total for two nights was almost $275. The master room has a king-size bed. The master room has a door to separate it from the outer room. Each room has a flat-screen TV mounted to the wall. The downside to the TV is that the next room has a TV mounted just opposite and the walls are not much barrier to noise. This is not the place to get loud and freaky as you Forney-cate, unless you desire feedback from the occupants in the room next door. The room has a ceiling fan and overhead lights that can be turned on via a wall switch. Wall receptacles were plentiful and convenient. The restroom is large and is handicapped-accessible. Having been responsible in the past for providing ADA-compliant facilities, I think the set-up at this Best Western is very good. Still, though, since I am not handicapped, I am not the best authority. There is a large shower area for those in a wheelchair. There are two shower heads – one stationary and one on a flexible hose. A hair dryer is present and within reach for a person in a wheelchair. There are assist bars on the wall to aid in use of the toilet. One thing that I did not like is when I book a room for 4 people (2 adults and two children), more than a week in advance, that there are three bath towels in the room. I should not have to go down and request an additional towel each morning. Between both rooms, and outside of the restroom, there is a kitchenette area. There is a wet bar sink, coffee maker, refrigerator, and even overhead cabinets (not accessible for those in a wheelchair). The kitchenette makes me suspect this property might have been an Embassy Suites, or some other nice hotel, in the past. On this visit, the coffee maker did not have the filter holder, so I had to get creative to brew coffee in our room. The outer room has a couch that has a longer on one end and a sofa bed in the remainder. Unfortunately, I had to go to the front desk to request bedding for the sofa bed. Upon arrival, the coffee tables had a white substance all over one side. It is our hope that someone spilled milk and that it is not something gross that is not spilled milk. I left a list to include this “spill”, as well as a couple of maintenance items for the hotel when we departed. There is a nice desk. A wall-mounted flat-screen TV is in the outer room. The swimming pool looked nice, but it was to cool to use it on this visit. The fitness center consists of several machines. I used the weight machine twice during the visit. The trick to changing the weight on the bench press side is to push up the bench press bar a couple of inches. The pin will then slide into the weight that you desire. The breakfast offering was maintained very well. There was good food to eat and there was always plenty to consume. The breakfast room is spacious and not a chore to find seating. I am actually getting hungry thinking about the breakfast offering – which is odd as I normally do not eat breakfast. One thing that I did not spot was fresh fruit, I could have overlooked it. Overall, I am quite pleased with our stay at this Best Western. If you have read any of my other hotel reviews, you know that I can berate a property when it is deserved. When I state that this is a good place to stay, you can bank on it.

I had an interview and didn't want to travel early on the road so I booked a room so I could get some rest and not have a far commute. The room was clean and looked as they did in the pictures. The check in process was easy and the express checkout was very convenient so I didn't have to worry about going down to the front desk to check out I was able to get my things together and leave.

We have stayed here several times over the course of a few years. Never disappoints. Very nicely decorated rooms! Beds are very comfortable! Staff is awesome! Breakfast is above average! Many places nearby to eat, drink, or both. Small town charm and just minutes away from Dallas.

We were very impressed by the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff as well as cleanliness, and comfort of our room. Great one night stay and great value for the cost. Highly recommend this property and will stay there again when back in Forney.

The staff went above & beyond to accommodate us. The ergonomics of the hotel room could not have impressed me more. The guest laundry facilities were an awesome surprise. We simply could not have had a better experience. They accommodated our 2 small kiddos and a cat for 5 weeks. Simply amazing.

We timed the selling of our house with the building of our new home to find out that the Builders were 2 months behind so we were forced to live at this Best Western for 55 nights. Two adults, two children and 2 dogs and we survived mainly because of the cleanliness of this hotel and the Excellent Customer Service provided to us by Every one of its Staff members! Travelin through Forney be sure to spend the night at Best Western for a great nights sleep. Walking distance to McDonalds, Taco Bell, and Chicken Express. Hotel is clean, quiet, and rooms are comfortable.

When we come to Forney this is where we always stay. Everyone is very helpful and nice and the breakfast buffet has a very good selection. The rooms are always clean, comfortable beds and very roomy. Great place to stay!

Nice property in convenient location for where I needed to be. Disappointing otherwise. Confusion about payment at check-in, rooms very dark and dated, no hair dryer, HVAC not functioning properly, they ran out of coffee second day at breakfast, the list goes on. The room was clean and we got good rest, the front desk staff was very professional but beyond that this property is substandard at best.

Fabulous hotel just minutes east of Mesquite in quiet Fornay Tx. Clean, spacious, modern. We got the last available room, which turned out to be a king suite. Wow!! Beautifully appointed with tv's in both rooms, refrig, microwave, and best of all, ceiling fans in both rooms!! Ahhhhh. Shower was spa quality, although vent fan was annoyingly noisy. But there was a vent fan, which is typically absent in most hotel rooms. Yay! Bed supremely comfortable. Breakfast plentiful with real scrambled eggs and patty sausage (turkey?), make your own waffles, and assorted cold items.

Party, loud music past time management promised it would be over when we checked in...calls to front desk went unchecked. Miserable way to spend the holidays. Stayed here to be near family. Never again!! My family is tired and trying to get any rest here (and its 11:42 pm) is a faint dream. This experience is a nightmare

Clean hotel, nice people, and my favorite: A ceiling fan! (A stylish one, too - see my photo.) We were able to keep the air conditioner fan going all night (no cycling on and off) and had the ceiling fan on high the entire time. It made for a very pleasant night's sleep, and few other hotels can seem to duplicate this simple yet elegant solution. The only negatives I can come up with are the closed pool (it's outdoors and they apparently mothball it during winter) and the free breakfast. Knowing that most hotels don't offer much in the way of healthy eating at these breakfasts, I usually just have coffee, a banana, and a bagel. I figure they probably can't mess that up too badly. Unfortunately, they messed it up. The only fruit they had when we visited was some kind of canned fruit that smelled off and tasted worse. Any hotel in the Dallas metro should be able to get cheap and plentiful fresh fruit, so why they offered this foul goo instead is beyond me. While you're there, you owe it to yourself to stop by Caspar & Gerard's Antiques. It's only a mile or two away, and it'll blow your mind. Also, for breakfast or lunch try Crumbzz in old Forney. Great service, amazing food.

My room was exceptional! I stayed for 3 days and it was the absolute BEST experience I have ever had at a hotel, ever!!! Everyone was so helpful and accomodating. My room was so clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this location.

For over a year now I travel with my handicapped sister, most of the time we have to make do with poor facilities this is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at, the room was amazing! The largest HC equipped room I've ever seen. The staff was amazing! Every time I had my sister out of the room some of the Staff offered to assist us, most of the time we are made to feel like a burden when we travel, the front desk staff met all our needs and more. We will definitely stay here from now on when we're in the DFW area, which Is several times a year.

all good, every hotel could take a lesson from Jessica Armour's, and her staff. All hotels should be run, like her hotel. with the, efficiency, and attention to detail. This hotel treats, all guest, as friends, not like someone just passing through, and happen to be staying the night in another hotel.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel in 2015. Both my grandsons had weddings and this stay was for an early Thanksgiving feast at my son's home in Forney. We travel approx. 6 times a year and this is the nicest property we stay at and is very reasonably priced. If you are staying on east side of Dallas area I would stay here and drive the 15 minutes into Dallas.

Everything was really nice, the room was lovely, the staff incredibly nice and super accomodating - I stayed for about 2 months for work - except make sure you tip the maids, they stopped caring about 2 weeks into my stay until I remembered to leave some money. Also at one point I asked them not to replace the soap every day so they just started piling new soaps on top of the extras I already has, it was odd.

I have stayed at this hotel before and it is the one that I prefer to stay at when I am in the area. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. Best Western in general is my go to establishment when I need a place to stay.

Great hotel, first class in aways. stayed three days in Forney and was a pleasure. We enjoyed the comfort that was like home. If your in area this is best quality and rates in 40 mile range of Forney. Beats all on East side of Dallas

I travel a lot with my job and have stayed at a lot of hotel chains. This hotel is exceptional on every level. The receptionists are cheerful, polite and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are above average. I have stayed at this location a dozen times and have been happy with every room that I have occupied

I don not know her last name, but Christy was wonderful. I was on a date with my wife and we traveled from Melissa, TX to see a concert at the Silver Saloon. This was a special night for the two of us since I had been out of town for two weeks and our son was staying with friends. When I arrived, we realized I had booked for the evening prior accidentally and as a result was not on the list of guests for the evening I had planned to stay in the hotel. Christy was over the top understanding and went above and beyond to make it right for my wife and I. A logical business decision to comp the room for the evening we were staying in the room was made, since I was already charged for the prior evening I was not a guest in the hotel. I travel for work on a weekly basis. I have made the same mistake in the past, but the outcome was quite different than that which I experienced with Christy. Christy did not insist that I would have to pay for another nights stay...she insisted I relax and not worry and that I enjoy my stay without stress, therefore allowing me to go forth and enjoy the evening as it was planned with my lovely wife. Thanks to Christy, my faith in the goodness of hotel staff has been restored. She had the opportunity to develop a loyal customer and make someone happy and she took full advantage. My wife and I will be back for other shows at the Silver Saloon and we will always stay at this hotel, even though it is a little further than some of those located closer to the venue. This hotel was above what I was expecting. It had great access on & off the Interstate. The room was equivalent to a room more than double the price. The hotel staff was friendly & helpful. I'm very picky about what hotel I stay in...I would absolutely stay here again!!

I am Platinum with Marriott, Platinum with IHG and Gold with Hilton. I stayed here since I was visiting a friend in Forney and attending a local high school football game. First off, there are limited options in Forney for hotel rooms. So I went with what I thought was the best price and the best option for quality. The quality of the room when I checked in far surpassed expectations. I can honestly say, except for a full service Marriott, the room I received matched or beat any other room from any of the 3 hotel chains I referenced above. Loved the fact it had a real shower with nice shower head and mid-height body jets. Nice large TV, large desk, great one light switch to turn on most lights, separate couch area and a very comfortable bed. As I told my friends in Forney, if they ever have friends or relatives visiting, don't hesistate to recommend this Best Western. Great job BW in Forney in making me rethink your brand.

We have stayed at this hotel since it opened. While the hotel itself has aged somewhat, the people who work there have stayed the same. They are welcoming and try to make your stay the best possible. From the G.M.,Jessica Armour, to Alex Hazelwood at the front desk, we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay in Oct., 2015.

We have stayed at this location for the past 3 or 4 years, and find it a wonderful place to stay. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean. Would recommend to anyone looking for accommodations outside of east of Dallas.

Great hotel. Big room, good TV, nice gym area, good breakfast and helpful staff. Only issue I had was my phones in the room did not work. I choose this hotel over many in Dallas. Yes you have to drive a bit to get to the big cities but the hotel is nice and you do not pay a lot for such a nice place.

Very nice, spacious room. The room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was also good. The check in process was smooth and the staff were quite friendly. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a room in the area.

Horrible hotel, horrible Management, the GM Jessica is very unpersonable. Trash found in our rm, toilet was not clean, was promised an account credit and room change and this didn't happen. Dont stay.

I would recommend the Best Western in Forney to anyone who wants a convenient hotel that is also very clean, besides the fact that the rooms are so nice...from the towels, bathrooms, mirrors, bedding, etc.

The room was very clean and the beds (as always at Best Western) were very comfortable. A light in the bathroom burned out at was replaced at once when we mentioned it at the desk.. The room was quite, we never heard even a door slam shut. The entire hotel was spotless even the parking lot.

From reservation to checkout, the staff was great! Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We didn't book very far in advance and "Crystal" did a great job helping us get the best deal. We will definitely use the Christopher Inn again.

The room was perfect. Everything extremely clean. Breakfast well displayed and good. Overall quiet and well managed. Will stay there on our next trip to visit family! Have not stayed at a Best Western for many years and it was a pleasant experience. Convenient to gas stations, fast food and freeway.

Traveled to Forney for a two day softball tourney. I contacted the hotel and they only had one of the two nights available. The staff offered to take my name and call me if they had a cancellation. I'm thinking yeah right I'll never here from them. Boy was I wrong. They called me later in the week and had me a room. Super nice people to deal with. The hotel was super clean with a great breakfast to start your morning. I would recommend to anyone. More places could take lessons from these guys!

Great service, Super staff. Talk to Christy, she'll take care of you. One of the cleanest hotels I've been in. The room was great, King with a short wall and sitting room, couch, etc. Good price also.

We arrived around midnight. Michelle greeted us. She was lovely--could tell we were tired and greeted us with the right amount of efficiency and friendliness. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Very clean. Im not sure why a previous reviewer had such a hard time finding it. It was easy for us even without local help. Thank you.

This is a fine property and the staff is terrific. We will be repeat guests when in the area. It is close to many great local eateries. Try 4Ts BBQ or Doe Belly's for fried catfish. Easy on and off from Highway 80. All in all, a great spot.
