Il Best Western Elyon Colombo non ha soddisfatto le aspettative. La posizione è fuori dal centro, il che lo rende poco pratico per chi vuole visitare la città. La pulizia lascia a desiderare, e la colazione è decisamente scarsa, soprattutto per gli italiani: poche opzioni e poca varietà. La camera, seppur piccola, aveva tutto il necessario, ma nel complesso non era particolarmente accogliente. L'unica nota positiva è l'ottavo piano, dove si trova un bel bar con una vista panoramica davvero piacevole. Consiglierei questo hotel solo a chi cerca un posto per una breve sosta senza grandi pretese.

Ho dato 3 pallini per gli standard occidentali ma in Sri Lanka può essere un'ottima soluzione. Stanza basic, cena e colazione buone, staff disponibile. È molto lontano dal centro, se si è in auto è comunque ok e dispone anche di un parcheggio.

Abbiamo soggiornato per la seconda volta in pochi mesi in questo hotel. Aspetti positivi: stanze ampie, arredare con gusto; bagni abbastanza ampi e ben curati; rooftop con lo snack bar Vu davvero molto carino, location bella e prezzi nella media. Aspetti negativi: un giorno la stanza non è stata pulita, adducendo come scusa una mancanza di personale (scusa accettabile dati i recenti fatti ma non accettabile data la catena alberghiera a cui appartiene l'hotel). Lo snack bar, anche questa volta è stato chiuso una sera per una festa privata. Ora io capisco e accetto ma credo che data la scarsità di locali in zona, bisognerebbe, in caso di eventi, pensare a dividere il rooftop in due parti, così da non scontentare nessuno.

Ho passato in questo hotel la prima notte del mio viaggio. L hotel non è centrale, non c'è niente nella zona per poter mangiare ed è lontano dall aeroporto almeno un'ora. L avevo scelto perché vicino alla stazione dei treni e questa è l'unica cosa positiva che trovo in questo hotel. I prezzi sono assolutamente troppo alti per ciò che offre. Non lo consiglio assolutamente.

We appreciate your candid feedback, however I take this opportunity to bring to your notice that it is a only a forty minute drive to the Colombo International Airport from our location and the main business district is just 2 km away and our front office team would have been happy to assist you with finding great culinary experiences that are available on location or an immense number of establishments that is less than five minutes away from Best Western Elyon Colombo. An enjoyable tuk-tuk ride could take you to anywhere in the city which is a great experience itself whilst recommending that you use a metered tuk. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconveniences that you may have experienced during your stay and the entire team hopes that you would reconsider your decision and visit us again in the not so distant future. L'hotel non è centrale e non ha nulla nelle vicinanze per mangiare o altro.L'hotel è nuovo e elegante e le stanze sono pulite e ben curate.Lo staff si divide in gente gentilissima e altri molto meno. Bella terrazza con bar all'ultimo piano.

Abbiamo passato in questo hotel la prima notte del nostro tour. Il primo approccio è stata la colazione poco varia, giusto un tipo di muffin e di brioche confezionate duri e gommosi, non di certo freschi. L'hotel però è molto bello e moderno con la palestra all'ultimo piano che ti permette di staccare un pò visto che l'hotel non ha altre attrattive. Una piscina sul tetto sarebbe l'ideale. Molto pulito sia l'hotel in generale che la camera che ha un bagno molto bello e una doccia bella grande. Per passare giusto una notte va più che bene ma non stateci di più anche perchè Colombo è invivibile!

We have already taken necessary actions on improving the variety in our breakfast to satisfy the guests taste buds and their choices.Guests can now customize their own breakfast and the CHEF will be at hand to cater to your needs. In the near future Best Western Elyon will be having more guest friendly amenities for guest convenience and many more recreational activities. The hotel is away from the city center,however it is only a 10 minute drive to the city center from the hotel and we are away from the city traffic and congestion.We will be providing a shuttle service for guests in the near future to visit the city center and for city tours.
