Dannys Suites, SureStay Collection by Best Western

This property is worn and in need of a renovation. The evening receptionist was unfamiliar with the property. She was unaware of the hotels amenities and could not accurately direct us to our room. The TV in our room did not work and the night receptionist was supposed to be on duty until 10:30 PM. I was unable to call the reception desk from my room phone. When I went to the front desk at 10:15 PM the receptionist had left. The best part of our stay was the complementary served breakfast.

A welcome surprise for us. We were warmly welcomed by Sundar and Cressica. We slept well with comfortable bed & pillows. The Himalayan restaurant was perfect with delicious food - be aware of large portions as we ordered too much. Our choices were vegetable samosas, seafood chowder, lobster curry and a chicken korma. Breakfast was also enjoyable and served by a wonderful husband and wife couple. Only disappointment was not being able to access Beresford beach near the hotel due to road work with confusing detours.

This property is basically a motel that has an indoor hallway that connects the rooms. Check in was alright - but the staff were not overly friendly. You can hear everything being said and any noises in the hallway clearly in the room. After unpacking, turned on the tv. No channels that worked. When ready for bed, pulled down the sheets to find small, dried blood stains on the bottom sheet. If I had not had my stuff unpacked and as tired as I was, I would have changed to a different hotel in the area. I put a towel over it and when to sleep. Upon check out I mentioned the situation to the desk agent, who didn't really say anything (no sorry about that - just that she noted it). Upon filling in my survey a day or two later, I checked off to be contacted by the property. I received an email saying that they were sorry that they didn't meet the standards and hope that I would consider staying again - not a chance of that happening. My take away - they are cheaper for a reason. There is no way that trip advisor should have them ranked 2 out of 6 in the Bathurst area. Stay elsewhere.

The entire staff is welcoming and works to make the stay comfortable. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the room, hallways, restaurant and lovely pool. It was nice to have charging stations at our disposal for our car. Only downsides were the musty smell in the room when we arrived and the size of the bathroom and shower that did not have a hand-held shower head. We had requested a room with bath but were told they were full and it wasn't possible.

Great place. Clean, comfortable and Quiet . The room was very spacious and it had a kitchen. Check in was fast . The free Breakfast was very good . The waitress/ reception was a super nice lady, funny and just awesome. Will return to this place when in the area

EV chargers not providing any more than standard L1 power. Beds made with stained sheets. Fireplace not working. Floors freezing cold. Kraft cheese slices for breakfast. Enjoyed the honeymoon hot tub. Quiet location but walls thin as paper. Comfortable enough bed.

I stayed at Danny's Suites after a long day of travel and unexpected ferry delays. Check-in was thankfully smooth even though it was well after hours, and the staff member on duty was friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean—nothing fancy, but perfectly fine for a short stay. Breakfast was tasty and well presented, though I felt a bit sorry for the single staffer who seemed to be running the check-in desk, breakfast area, and a small restaurant all at once. She handled it impressively, but that setup doesn't seem sustainable. The property has Tesla Destination chargers, which unfortunately didn't work for me. Luckily, there's a Mazda dealer right next door with a charger I could use instead. Overall, Danny's Suites offered a decent stay with good value, but some operational improvements would make it even better.

We stayed 3 nights at Danny's Motel & Suites. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff, particularly Catherine and her husband Roger in the dining room and Anthony, who made certain everything was just fine in all the rooms were both friendly and very competent. The food was very good and we enjoyed our stay. EWe would certainly stay here again!

Friendly staff in all areas of this well run operation. The whole property is well kept and is an exceptional value. A fresh cooked breakfast each morning was a refreshing change from the usual microwave warmed up buffet. Just a short drive north of Bathurst, NB this is a very convenient location. It was very convenient to have a restaurant right on site for an evening meal.

A find of a different kind. I was travelling for business between Miramichi, Bathurst & Dalhousie. I needed a place to lay my head that was clean, had decent amenities and expense friendly. I found Danny's through the BW website and decided to give it a chance. Not your typical “chain” motel but an old style drive up motor hotel that has grown and updated over the years. I found out it had recently changed hands and become a BW affiliated property. For my needs, quite a find. The room was really nice and updated, the click flooring was appreciated with the slushy weather. The room was warm and there was an outer corridor to mitigate the winter winds. I had a Queen with a sofa bed, not super spacious but more than adequate to my needs. The room included a fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker, flat screen tv, decent wifi and a desk to work at. The bathroom was updated, though a little tight for my 6'5 frame, but workable. There was a small “gym” for some cardio and an on site restaurant. The room was quiet and I even received a courtesy call to see if things were up to standard. The breakfast that was included was fantastic, cooked to order and served quickly and efficiently. The staff are lovely and I have already booked my next visit for when I am back in the area.

We were in Bathurst for a wedding. We had multiple rooms. The front desk, cleaning staff, and waitress were collectively the friendliest I've seen

Great place for couples, families or people who travel for work. We had a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen (we like to cook when we travel). Also, made use of the BBQ that was set up in the garden. Breakfast is included and is available all day long. Perfect for us as we had breakfast after playing 18 holes of golf. The staff were very efficient and professional - from booking through check in through check out. Unfortunately for us, the outdoor pool was not available.

Spent my April birthday weekend solo in the "honey moon" King suite, mostly because of the jetted tub. Amazingly the only one available in a reasonably priced hotel room from Moncton to Bathurst. The room was very clean and near the gazebo so the view was pleasant . Was welcomed by a nice handwritten note on the bed by the Housekeeping staff. Very comfortable bed. ONLY DOWN SIDES: No luggage rack/table to rest suit case on.2)NOT ONE HOOK to hang wet towels, clothing on in bathroom and 3)closet was difficult to access because of cabinet for fridge half blocking the door from opening,4) no menus for dining or bar in room, 5) fire place was disappointingly dull. As for the restaurant: had one lunch and 2 suppers. Found the prices reasonable, portions generous BUT the menu was the same for both lunch and supper, not very inspired and overall taste was bland. Complementary full breakfasts were excellent. Needs a good bit of exterior care especially pool area and rotting floor boards in gazebo and swing. Overall service was friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The rooms were clean and spacious. I wish I knew where they got their mattresses. I was very impressed with the meeting space. The conference centre was easily accessible and spacious. I would recommend this place to host your next conference in Bathurst (Beresford)

Rented the Honeymoon sweet for a anniversary. The Good: Breakfast in the restaurant is good. The room rate was ok. The counter staff were very nice and helpful. Renovated in the last 5-6 years. The Bad: The the shower was old with a door that was about to come off. The toilet paper dispenser was rusted and roll kept falling off as it was bent. The vanity was in bad shape, very banged up. The ceiling fan ran but did nothing. The closest door could only open 1/2 as it hits into a cabinet plus it is very cold in closet. The worst is the room was dirty. We cut our anniversary stay short dur to the room. Will not stay there again. Do not recommend at all!

I'm not writing about the rest about the hotel itself but rather the restaurant specifically. I am a vegetarian and have been invited to a lunch with a group of people at the hotel's restaurant but there is not one vegetarian item on the menu other than a side garden salad or french fries. I was offered fish, but only pescatarians eat fish, not vegetarians. This is the only restaurant in the area that I have been to that does not provide a vegetarian option. Very disappointed.

Terrible customer service. We arrived at 10:30 pm. We had to use a house phone to contact someone to give us a room. The person who answered had no record of our reservation. I showed the email confirmation. Still doubted me. Finally got a room key but it wasn't pleasant.

Stayed at hotel on a Sunday night. There had been a large wedding reception the night of and the hotel was not clean with vacuum and garbage being left in hallways. It was clear there was not enough staff to look after things.

To be blunt - there was nothing good about this room - room was small, bathroom was so small, no outside air, AC was loud, no extra pillows, the room was so dark you could not see to read. The only good thing was the made to order free breakfast, our waitress was very nice!

The fireplace and pool were awesome. The price was great, love the swing wood swing and kids loved the pancakes, big portions for breakfast. Close to everything, the park down the street at Beresford beach was so nice, it must be new. Loved all of it.

The staff were amazing. So friendly and kind. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The hotel is so close to the beach. It rained during our stay but that didn't matter since my room had a Roku tv so I was able to watch the British comedy series Toast of London starring Matt Berry.

This hotel has really gone downhill. I took one look at the room and I immediately left. I knew I couldn't stay in that room. The beds weren't even made up well, there were grapes and dirt all over the floor. The bathroom was horrible….shower head rusted and mould around the shower. Just outside the room, in the corridor, there was vomit on the old carpets. I honestly can't believe that this hotel is a tripadvisor Traveler Choice hotel. The front desk wasn't very helpful. We ended up leaving and stayed at a nicer hotel in Bathurst.

Amazing. The pool has plenty of room on the deck to lie out, the free breakfast is made to order and the crispy bacon sings. Even when busy the place isn't too loud. We got the king room and it was huge, with a fire place and seating area.

We would not stay again. The hallway was sprayed with a very strong perfume smell. It seeps into your room and there are no windows to open which wasn't stated in add. Breakfast was ok, bed was ok nothing great but i wasn't expecting great. If you have sensitivities to smells this is not the place for you. We also found someone else's hairs in bathroom in shower and on floor which made me question how clean the room really was.

This place really gives that professional vibe with the east coast hospitality. The staff here made us feel like family and the rooms looked modern. The location is close to all amenities. This place is a must stay if you visiting the east coast

Stayed here for a sledding trip with some buddies. Catherine, star of the show here. She keeps the place running from what I can tell and will go above and beyond for you. Will definitely be back! Had a blast

Good food good amenities. Excellent service from Katherine at the front desk as always. She goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and that they are important. Neverhad a bad experience there.

To be honest, rooms are in need of some updating, however staff and service compensate for any shortcomings of rooms. Friendly and courteous staff make you feel valued and work very hard to resolve any issues.

Updated rooms, but smell is musty and AC remote was missing. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. I would stay again with few options locally, but seems a pricey for quality.

Had a wonderful greeting by staff on arrival. Provided with a nice upgrade to a suite, complete with a kitchen. Pleasant grounds to walk about, and very quiet in the evening. Would highly recommend a stay.

This hotel has lovely grounds complete with a warm outdoor pool. It is perfect for families and the location is great! Breakfast is included and is a full, hot meal. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Initial reaction was to an odor. Not unpleasant but there. The heat pump took care of that small objection. We were on a golf package. Rates were reasonable. I he course, Gowan Brae, was exceptional. Our package included a discount on dinner and free hot breakfasts. The staff was very welcoming! The dinner was so delicious we ate there both nights. Mussels! Yum! We would look forward to staying here again !

Have stayed a few times and and is an excellent place to stay. Rooms are very clean and the restaurant always has great meals. Catherine always makes you feel like family not just a customer. Would highly recommend this a must place to stay in Bathurst.

We stayed in this very nice hotel located just out of Bathurst in Beresford. It is close enough to the city to make it convenient but far enough away to make it nice and quiet. A restaurant onsite makes for a pleasant stay. Catherine with a D, checked us in and also was the breakfast waitress. This woman is perfectly suited to the hospitality industry. She was fun and very engaging. Our room was very comfortable and quiet and the grounds are beautiful and immaculately kept. The garden area is very inviting and there is a place for a picnic or if you wish to dine alfresco!

Travelling with a group of friends, we stayed at Danny's Inn. The experience we had was unforgettably great! Excellent restaurant right on site, very clean, well appointed rooms, excellent breakfast, beautiful, well kept grounds and over the top service. Catherine took care of us like we were family. We all will never forget how she even helped us with one couple's car problem. Too long of a story to tell, but trust me, she went way above and beyond the call of duty - she knows how to take of guests! If you are coming off the drive around the Gaspe Penninsula and headed for PEI, like we were, plan to stay here - you will be so glad you did. With an excellent breakfast included, Danny's Inn is great value. We felt so comfortable there. That's why I say that it is the best small hotel that we have ever stayed at ANYWHERE!

The staff here was so incredibly kind and welcoming. My room was genuinely spotless when I arrived and breakfast was delicious. The staff is truly what made it such an amazing experience though! And although it was too cold to swim the pool looked amazing! I can't wait to return later in the summer. Thank you!

Very clean rooms and hallways.Staff was very friendly and eager to help. Grounds were very nice, I was able to sit out in the sun and enjoy the tranquility in the evenings. The food was very good at a very good price.

Staff is extremely friendly and polite. Room was clean however mold was present in bathroom and the entire room had a dampness. TV services were new to the hotel and without instructions so staff was unable to answer our technical program or apps related inquiries.

They offered an ATV package that included hotel stay, breakfast, a packed lunch and 20% off at the restaurant the cost was excellent and the meals where awesome! They accommodated us with a conference room at night to allow the group to be together after the excursion 100% would recommend to anyone!

Took the 3 nights ATV package. Great price, Package included full breakfast, packed lunch, clean rooms, lots of parking, close to gas and car wash. Trail access is directly across from the hotel. Staff was exceptional. We will be back.

Wonderful stay for a sledding trip in Bathurst. All the staff were amazing and very accommodating. Special shout out to Nelcy, who was our server and room attendant, she went above and beyond to make us feel special and comfortable. 5/5 would recommend for any type of stay in Bathurst.

Myself and 4 friends stayed at Danny's Inn this past weekend. We had such a great stay, they were extremely accommodating and it was easy to come and go through the day since we were snowmobiling most of the time. Nelcy was one of the employees who really stood out to all of us, she checked on us every day to see if we needed anything and remembered our breakfast orders after only one day. She was so kind and is excellent at her job! Would definitely stay at Danny's again.

The rooms looked nicely renovated, however you can tell it was poorly done. The floors were in level and went higher and lower in many parts of the room and you could not walk bare feet. There was a baseboard heater and a mini split. We had to turn the baseboard heater on max and the mini split only spit out cold air, late at night the room finally warmed up but the bathrooom remain FREEZING, it was uncomfortable to use the toilet I couldn't imagine having a shower! We were beside a groups of people that played guitar, sang and stomped on the floor at 2 am. It took three phone calls to the front desk to complain and they finally knocked on said door. However as soon as they left the noice continued.

Absolutely loving staying here. Staff is absolutely amazing and go out of their way to help with whatever is needed. Rooms are clean and comfortable and had good amount of space for toddler. The extra amenities bbq, small park, outdoor pool, fire pit and games was such a pleasing extra. This is most definitely our go to place to stay when going to visit our other kids.

I've been here for roughly 5 weeks on business and the hotel is super clean and the staff are more like friends then anything always cheerful and any questions you have they are right on the ball and anything you need and they'll have it for you! the breakfast is also amazing the food is 5 star. it feels like a home away from home

We had a great stay thanks to Catherine. We were staying at Marriott Hotels for a week and we did not find this quality of service. She was an amazing host and she made us feel welcome. All the staff were kind. The rooms were clean and confortable. Definitely, we will stay again.

My wife and I recently stayed at Danny's. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and more than adequate. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The grounds were well maintained.

We have stayed her many times in the past and we're happy to return now that some travel is permitted in the area. They are wonderful at welcoming pets on top of their great service. The floors are tile, so expect the “tick tick” sound if your pooch has longer nails, and maybe bring a small mat for the floor. Hotel rooms are very clean.

This property has the potential to be a great place to stay. It is on a large lot with lots of outdoor space. Our suite was large and updated and had everything we needed for a family of four. The issues however were with the staff and cleanliness of the hotel. There was a complete lack of communication and no one really seemed to care about providing any customer service. On check out, I was expecting to be thanked for our stay or even asked how our stay was but we didn't get either. No one seemed to care. We were not even told about breakfast and learned about it from other guests on our last day. Additionally, we stayed three nights in a suite that cost over $240 a night and our room was never once cleaned. We were talking to other guests who had the same issue; their room had never been cleaned during their stay. We had a nice outdoor area for ourselves but no screen door and the outdoor chairs needed a good cleaning. I was disappointed in our experience.

Danny's is like a beautiful little resort in Beresford - the property is lovely, stunning gardens, outdoor pool and I loved that I could drive right up to my room. The staff were so helpful - warm, welcoming smiles every time I walked by. The room was spacious and the food was delicious. I will stay again! I was there for business but I felt like I was on vacation!

We would highly recommend Danny's Hotel Suites. The rooms were clean. Big thank you to Catherine and Sonia for making our stay and dinning experience 10++. The new kitchen staff has brought the food to the next level.

First morning of our stay. The complementary full breakfast was delicious and was available gluten-free. Our server, Sonia, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and aware of food allergens and celiac disease. Sonia always made certain our coffee was hot and never ran low.

I booked for 5 days.. The rooms are so clean and tidy.. I love that house keeping comes in to clean when your gone to work.. The ground are very well maintained and the garden is very pretty. The service and food is great.. For the price I do not know why you would book anywhere else!!

Renovated, modern, spotless. The grounds are spacious and beautiful...park like. Ask about the secret menu...Indian. It was superb. All staff welcoming and professional. Trust me, this place is special.

Our association hosted a small gathering of local brokers in the area for our yearly convocation ceremony at Danny's Inn. From the moment of contact to the last check out of the day, Danny's Inn, most specifically, Sales Manager, Ashely Smith, gave us the most wonderful experience all around. COVID practices for the safety of our guests and their staff were handled expertly. The wait staff in the restaurant, the bar and the reception were on point, friendly and all did their best to help us with whatever our needs were. shout out to our server in the restaurant, Sonia, who kept things tight and was the best server around!!! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the grounds themselves were lovely. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for business services as well as personal travel. We loved the location and we loved the staff. We will be back!!!

Dannys never disappoints. We were actually unfortunately unable to travel as much as we normally do due to covid restrictions. They were super warm and welcoming like we never left as last time I was pregnant and returned this time with 2nd baby in tow. They always make sure we have everything we need and do it with a smile

Originally we were supposed to go to Bathurst for snowmobiling but Mother Nature had other ideas, so we decided just to go to relax. From the time we arrived until the time we left, we were very well taken care of. Clean room, welcome waters, awesome food in the restaurant with great prices, and such warm friendly service. We definitely will be back .. you arrive as a customer and leave as a friend.

The food and staff were great but we probably won't be returning to the hotel. There was a dirty sock on the floor, the light next to the bed was broken, only one side table, 2 small pillows, the how water took a couple minutes to start, there is a huge window overlooking the hall and the blinds don't offer the feeling of privacy and the noise was horrible!! There was a group of about 30 people having their get together in the hallway and we could understand everything they were saying. They were loud and not really respectful for doing this but the room didn't block the sound either. We did ask for more pillows but didn't bother with the rest since we were only staying one night. If we were to go again, we would ask to be in the other building that's not attached to the restaurant. It was a group that were there to go in the trails with their snowmobile so maybe they should put bigger groups together and the other people further away.

Happy staff, always in a great mood and so friendly. Covid-19 protocols are followed no need to worry about that. Each time I come and stay always get a warm welcoming. Always nice to see Catherine, she's and the staff are amazing.

Danny's took care of us professionally and the amenities were perfectly suited for our business conference. Recently renovated hotel which was really appealing to our collegues that stayed the night and the boardroom was just top notch.

Very clean hotel, with great sit-down breakfast included in price. The outdoor heated pool is a great way to finish the day when the weather is right in the summer. There are also other ammenities on-site to help relax include shuffle board, basketball ball net, ping pong table, etc. Overall very much exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful room, amazing price. Spotlessly clean, and the restaurant is first class, you will not be disappointed. Bed was decent, not everyone enjoys firm mattresses but i do. Great little amenity setup with microwave, large mini fridge and keurig... comfy sofa. huge tub. Looked like lots to do and see outside, i was not able to take advantage of much due to working, but they have a games room, and the in room air exchanger with remote control was great. Three options for breakfast, wait for hot made to order at 10 am, get a to go box or $6.50 off your dinner... I stay in a LOT of hotels and it has been years since I had this much to like about a place, i plan to go back when I am NOT working. I didn't like the desk chair but meh, can't have everything, it was stylish but not comfortable for working at the desk.

My husband, toddler and I decided to book last minute for a family trip. We expected just an normal generic stay and we ended up with 2 amazing individuals that made us extremely welcome and very kind to our 2-1/2 yr old. The breakfasts we amazing for being included as one generally expects a continental amd they offer fresh for everyone. Nelcy and Catherine are definitely 2 that will make coming back such a pleasure and easy choice for us :)

There was a large group of us that went this weekend in July. The people were very nice and accommodating to all of our needs and wants. We had Catherine as our waitress - you couldn't ask for a better waitress/ hostess. She made us feel like we were home. Prices of everything is extremely reasonable!! The heated pool was enjoyed by all. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We will be going back and can't wait to see Catherine again!

nice perks like access to free laundry, and free breakfasts able to exchange nonbuffet coupon, for credit towards menu items, currently :) gorgeous grounds and friendly area. Delighted by quality of nearby day trips!

My husband and I stayed here for four nights while visiting family in the area. We were happy that this was one of the pet friendly spots in the area. The room was nice and spacious so we had lots of room to move around and have our things. The sink was outside of the washroom which we found was a nice feature to have. The beds were comfy and there was a couch in the room as well which was nice to sit on to have our coffees in the morning when we were not in the garden area. It was such a nice area and perfect to bring our dog for a little walk and relax.

Catherine ,Sonya and Nelcy were all excellent in waitressing and at the front desk . Very curtious and polite staff. Hotel food was good as always and not overly priced in my opinion. Definitely will be going back

we always go for a good breafast every Sunday ,,,We are served like royalty every time with Sonia,,,always with a smile ,,,and a great personality,,,thank you Sonia for the best service ever ,,looking foreward to next Sunday ,,,,

This was the only hotel that seemed to accept pets in the area. They have the pet friendly section in a separate building we really like this as we worry that our furry kids may bark at times and bother other guess. The reception staff was great and the server we had at breakfast, Sonia, was also great. Great friendly staff and comfortable lodging.

Had awesome service as usuall with Sonia..I've had excellent service with her every time..she wastes no time and always makes sure you are satisfied and well taken care of She also makes sure you know what the specials of the day are..and her approach is very professional Cheers to sonia

We made our reservation for Valentine's Day this year at Dannys. We were definitely impressed! The decor and ambiance was inviting and modern, our meal and service was perfect ! Thank you Catherine for making our evening out an enjoyable one. Recommend the Seafood fettuccine, it's delicious everytime !

Rooms are nice and clean. Staff at the restaurant are great. Nelcy, Chloe and Victoria were all fantastic. Favorite appy is the bang bang shrimp. Would recommend anyone stay here. They even have a garage for snowmobiles and atv's.

As always, my naughtier and I had a lovely time! We both had the turkey dinner and Nelcy, as always was superb! Super friendly and keeps my coffee topped right up! The food was delicious! We will be back!

Went for our weekly breakfast at Danny's this morning and the food was excellent! We were greeted with smiles and the service was great! Thank you to our waitress, Sonia, for your professionalism and for the service! Great place to go!
