Best Western Baraboo Inn

Spent the day volunteering on the Ice Age Trail and wanted a place to relax rather than making the 4.5 hour trip home and back for the next day. Very comfortable bed, quiet HVAC fan, so had a great night's sleep. Friendly, competent staff, clean, well organized breakfast room.

We were disappointed with the overall appearance of the parking lot due to unplowed snow in lot and sidewalks. We found a broken shovel and cleared our way into the hallway to our room. When we left for the day the cleaning service came in and remade only one of the two beds

Stayed for a night while visiting relatives and the escape to the hotel was easily the best part of the trip! Clean rooms, plenty of parking, friendly staff, and a warm breakfast. Definitely a good place to stay if visiting Baraboo or the Wisconsin Dells.

Beds were so comfortable, and room was very clean. Price was affordable and the included breakfast was amazing! My friend and I are so glad we came across this hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

No restaurant nor bar on site. The toliets in our room are kid friendly not for adults. Good location for Ho Chuck & restaurants. Mikes Italian restaurant across the street was awesome. The Italian beef was enough for two meals. To bad I forgot it in the room refrigerator.

The room was dirty, the bed had weird orange stains on it, the bathroom had mold on the walls. The elevator was dirty, the breakfast lounge wasn't great at all. Overall we over paid for our stay in this hotel

The room and staff here were all wonderful. We slept well. TV controls easy to understand. The breakfast was a hit. Hot breakfast every morning just started the day right with fresh fruit and plenty for all. We loved it here.

This hotel is located on Business Hwy 12. Easy to get to, free and ample parking. The front desk was a little short staffed, however the lady got me checked in and out with no issues. My room was amazing! King size bed that was very comfortable as I slept for 8 hours. Great pillows! Nice in room refrigerator and micro wave. Everything was clean and neat. Television was fine, I just didn't see a guide anywhere. They serve a nice complimentary breakfast in the morning! Eggs, sausage, bananna, apple, muffins, and great coffee! I'm a Best Western reward member, so I didn't pay street prices. Not sure what the cost would be if you just walked in. I really enjoyed my stay and was very happy. Definitely would recommend.

Would not recommend. Hallways smell of illegal odors entire stay, black mold in shower, stained dirty mattress and broken lamp shades. Assigned me to someone else's room in which I walked into unknowlingly.

Best Western was very good place to stay and very close to Devils Lake State Park. The breakfast was pretty good also. The cleaning staff did a good job cleaning the room too. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it.

We always stay with Besw Western. Especially Best Western baraboo. We no longer feel “special” despite being a Platinum” member. Things are just belch. Nothing special stands out. For their fairly high price, breakfast was fast food, towels and cleaning have to be requested. We used to be respected and treated special. No more.

We stayed here for a wedding. The staff was exceptionally good. They were friendly and accommodating. Our room had small ants throughout. Another family member had the same issue in their room. The hotel appeared to be fully booked, but I was able to report it when we checked out.

We stay here every-time we visit family as no one has enough space to room all 5 of us. We've never had any issues or problems. The rooms are clean, the pool area is fun and the breakfast makes my kiddos happy!

Staff is nice,the facility not so much elevators and hallways filthy mattresses have holes in them and look like they are out of a dumpster! For the price drive up the road and stay somewhere nice for the same money or less.

I have stayed here several times over the years. Rooms are always nice and clean. Staff very friendly. Close to everything in the area. Good place to be close to everything and quieter than the big lodges.

This hotel was such a great stay. The staff treats you like family and will do anything you ask for that is in their power. The continental breakfast was SUPERB. I haven't seen this type of breakfast in any hotels I stayed at before. The rooms are very comfortable and super clean. I will make sure to stay at this hotel again for my next vacation.

The rooms were clean and the room service was excellent. Very genuine staff members. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. Loads of variety in the breakfast. They had fresh bagels/bread, a variety of yogurts, eggs, waffles, and many spreads/toppings. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Very nice hotel. Close to Wisconsin Dells area. Breakfast was above average. Would definitely stay here again. Hotel is also very close to the Ho Chunk Casino. Baraboo has a lot to offer for the size of the town.

Stayed here two nights,room was good and clean,fridge was cold and microwave worked.Bed was comfortable. When we arrived after a 12 hour drive we were very disappointed with the treatment from Lady at front desk.No greeting ,no smile,no thanks.Should not be the person behind the counter greeting guests.The gentlemen the next day was super nice and accommodating as well as cleaning staff.Pool and hot tub were nice and breakfast was good.Would stay again,but would hope we wouldn't have the same greeter.

Not too bad of a stay. Beds were soft and they need new pillows. Room was clean, place is getting old. Typical breakfast, the lady that is in charge of it was very nice and kept checking to see if anything needed to be done.

Decided to stay in Baraboo this trip versus the dells. Big mistake. This hotel was FULLY booked for our weekend stay in late September. From the photos, it looked like a well-kept & updated place. Upon entering our room & looking around, we noticed one month's worth of dust on every surface. The alarm clock, phone, & lamps were thickly coated in grime/dust. There was a cobweb on one of the bed's headboards as well as unknown liquid drip marks. We took off our shoes and the carpet felt damp…with socks on. Looking closer at the carpet- saw crumbs, a hair tie, earring, etc…clearly no vacuuming. I went to use the bathroom: hair on the floor, there was 1 sq ft of black mold growing on the painted wall above the shower head, black mold on the shower curtain, Black mold on the door in the faux wood grain-just below the hook to hang one's towel. This wasn't surprising, as the ceiling vent was caked with dust. So much so, that after taking a shower with the door open, the mirror on the OUTSIDE of the restroom fogged up. All of the metal in the bathroom was rusted. Sooo we did their housekeeping! initially dusted everything with a wet cloth. Also made a trip to Walgreens for Lysol wipes to disinfect every surface and attempt to scrub all visible mold off. The hotel bar/restaurant was closed ALL weekend despite being advertised on the site. From our room, we could see a construction site. Did some reading & it appears a larger hotel chain will be going up nextdoor. The owner's of this best western must keep limited staff in order to squeeze every last penny and are essentially “giving up.” The room certainly reflected that. This is the first time I did not leave a tip for housekeeping. We left it cleaner than we found it.

This stay was a disaster! They couldn't find my reservation...that I made 2 months ahead. The front desk staff was rude and incompetent, making us late to the wedding we were there to attend.I wasted almost 1.5 hours of my life on the phone, trying to get satisfaction. That doesn't even include several emails to corporate. Profit seems to be a bigger priority than customer satisfaction.

We've been on travel for 2 weeks and have found that Best Western is a great, clean, modern and well-managed hotel to stay. Of the 5 BW's we've stayed, Baraboo Inn was the best so far! The Staff and atmosphere were on par for what a hotel should be.

We stayed for three nights and most everything we did was near Baraboo. Baraboo is such a pleasant town. We always go to the Log Cabin restaurant when we stay in Baraboo. Baraboo is so conveniently located. You can stay there and still go to the Dells and surrounding attractions with just a little bit of driving. The hotel was nice. Everything was fine except the pillows. They were like sacks of cotton balls and I could not sleep on them. We had to go to Walmart and get me a pillow so I could sleep the the next two nights we were there. So bring your won pillow. Also there was no conditioner, just shampoo, so you may want to bring your own. The bathroom door was squeaky and needed some Wd40. The pool and hot tub were ok. We've stayed there before and will probably stay there again.

Room for the most part was clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent continental breakfast (waffles, oatmeal, and great grab/go items). Great value in this hotel. Will stay here again on our next stay in Baraboo!

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and good variety for breakfast. Neighbored by Kwik Trip, Walgreens, Festival Foods, Walmart and a variety of restaurants - all your needs met within 2 minutes!!

We stayed at this hotel after visiting devils lake, the location is perfect if your visiting there. There are restaurant close by if you need them. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was nice and clean and my kids had a fun time at the pool which conveniently closes at 11pm. Breakfast is free. I would definitely stay again. Highly recommend especially if you're visiting devils lake from a long distance.

We stayed in July 2022. Very decent accommodations. Good check in and check out. Nice staff. Clean room. The bathroom was okay enough but considering it was a best western I wasn't expecting extravagance. Breakfast was very typical but did have fresh waffle maker.

I was not expecting a 5-star accommodation from a Best Western but honestly, the room was perfect, clean, and quiet. The beds were surprisingly comfortable! The pool area was great for kids, and the breakfast each morning was delicious. I was very pleasantly surprised!

Let's be real - it's a chain hotel and it is what it is. But I cannot figure how this is the highest rated hotel in Baraboo. Granted I've never stayed in any other hotels in town, but if this is the best I will avoid the town all together if looking for overnight lodging. The pool area was small but not in a bad way. Just wasn't very inviting or clean. Pool Towels were supplied but they are toddler sized at best. The room was typical and just fine. Walls are thin and other guests really enjoy slamming doors and laughing loudly in the halls. I think the proximity to Devils Lake invites all kinds and not in a good way. Breakfast was your basic continental offering, nothing too special. The front desk staff during check in and out seemed to be pulled off the street and had no indication of even working there (i.e. shirt or anything letting you know they worked there). The guy working in the morning was also tending to the breakfast area. He not only was wearing tattered street clothes and looked like he has just crawled out of bed, but acted like he'd just woken up. The woman who checked us in rolled her eyes while talking on the phone to another customer, and seemed to have rolled out of the same place the other guy did. Overall not a great experience and reaffirmed my thoughts that chain hotels are a waste of money and local mom and pop places are the way to go. On a positive note, the gentleman who took our reservation over the phone was helpful and friendly.

Located close to the Dells, House On The Rock, Taliesin and, of course, minutes from Circus World and the other attractions in Baraboo, this is a clean, friendly hotel. It was a little more expensive than I normally like to spend but it was worth it for using it as a base of operations for our trip. It's the first time I've used Best Western in years. If this hotel is any indication; I'll be using them a lot more. I'll definitely be staying at the Baraboo Inn again.

This was my first stay at a Best Western since the Pandemic. I am a regular customer and the Baraboo Inn did not disappoint. It was more expensive than I usually pay but it was a Saturday night and a tourist area. I had $35 worth of Gift Cards to help offset the price. The staff was friendly, the hotel clean as was my room. I highly recommend the Best Western Baraboo Inn.

Although the place is convenient and nicely appointed, when checking in I was told the upper floor was being utilized. However, that was not true as there were indeed people staying on the top floor. Ugh! They tended to leave early the next day, as I observed them leaving in what looked like work clothes (maybe construction). That's fine, but 1) don't lie about the situation to those checking in; 2) maybe a better solution would be to locate the work people on the first floor, so they can get up and do what they need to do to leave early without being loud above the other customers. UGH!

Hotel is conveniently located in Baraboo which is a short drive from The Wisconsin Dells area. We prefer to spend time in Baraboo, yet can take a short drive to the Dells if we are feeling bored. Hotel amenities were fair. Fridge and microwave in room were a nice convenience. Bathroom was a bit small. I personally prefer the sink in the bathroom. Room was clean. Quiet.

Clean, and convenient to restaurants, fuel and fun. Close to the Dells, and easy to find your way to the freeway. Attendants were friendly and accommodating. Pool area is on the small side but seems well taken care of.

The hotel was very clean, updated, and accommodating. The staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast was simple self serve fare and well stocked. I would recommend this hotel without any reservations.

They were considerate and helpful. They helped me get an ADA room even when there were none left. They must have worked it through with someone else so one was available. The front desk person also helped me out to my vehicle with my bags.

Room was ok. However, no front door staff wore masks, no signs on door even suggesting masks. They do not take Covid safety seriously despite the website assurances. TV in lobby was only allowed on one channel - Fox News. We had to gather the really poor breakfast listening to some crazy Fox morning person talking anti-Fauci nonsense. Incessantly. A member of our group asked to put Packer game on in evening. He was told no. Only Fox News I'm not paying money so ownership can bombard me with their extreme political views and fail to keep common areas safe.

My husband and I rented the King Suite. The bedroom was separate with french doors that could be closed off from the living room area. (The bed was very comfortable!) The separation worked great for the appetizer and drinks party I had planned with my sister.

very,very nice well kept rooms the whole hotel is very nice actually great pool hot tub gym awesome breakfast i could not have been happier dont pass this place up if your staying in the baraboo area enjoy!

We had a great stay here, the hotel was very clean and quiet. We used the pool which was warm, I check out the fitness room, clean and good sized and the breakfast - although covid friendly, was great (cold items and take and go) like breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast hot pockets. Room was very clean. Coffee was great. Front desk was friendly. Would recommend. Near a lot to do, we checked out the Al Ringling Mansion, went to Al Ringling Theater and seen a concert in the Dells. The only downside was the Bonzo's bar was closed and didn't open during our stay. Price changed also between Fri and Sat night which I thought was odd since we committed to staying 2 days.

The overall cleanliness was great. The staff very friendly. Conveniently located, just on the edge of stores and restaurants. Parking is well lit. The only bad thing are the small pillows. Just could not get comfortable

They had me at Hello. Managers Kevin and Tom at the reception desk were pleasant, friendly and professional. My room was close, clean and exceeded my expectations. Plenty of towels and pillows. This hotel was just off the major highway and very easy to get in and out of. Loved the lobby Free coffee and tea, available 24/7. Oh, the morning Free breakfast was perfect for business travelers in a hurry or for those families with kids in tow. Had a great visit and can't wait to return for skiing and other fun things to do.

The owners are very friendly. The hotel is clean. All employees are very friendly and happy to go out of their way to accommodate. My room smelled fresh and was very clean. The housekeeping is amazing. The pool is clean. They take COVID precautions. All around,the whole visit was everything I could ask for.

Very pleasant two-night stay. Extremely helpful front desk and staff. Solid WIFI, great large screen TV in room, clean and very comfortable room, good for relaxing - and getting work done too! Grab and go breakfast.

The gentleman at the front dest was super nice and gave recommendations on where to go. The hotel is very comfy (: came from florida it was very nice and quite. Sat outside and watched cars and overall enjoyed the experience.

We stayed at the Best Western in Baraboo, WI in mid September, 2021. Booking, check-in and check-out were easy. Our room was ok, a bit dated. Overall, fairly clean but not immaculate. The bed itself was really really comfortable to sleep on. Sound travels/walls were thin, but fortunately everyone around us was quiet. The morning breakfast which they include was a huge disappointment. It was set up in the small lobby, and consisted of a lot of premade cereals and processed things that you would heat up in the provided microwave. There wasn't anything hot./no steam tables, etc. which might have scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. No fresh fruits. They provided a few chairs/mini sofas which you could sit on, (which were located behind the two tables which they had set up in the small lobby area) but that meant everyone would be crammed into this small seating area which was not too inviting and with Covid-19 still being prevalent - well it just wasn't conducive to wanting to be there to eat. If you only need hot coffee or tea - you are good to go - that was fine.

Booked 8 rooms and also used the hospitality room Rooms & hospitality area were nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and everything was as we agreed to over the phone. Check in was easy and trouble free. Would stay here again.

This is my go-to hotel when ever I am in the area. The staff is friendly and very helpful the pool is nice. The covid breakfast is better than some breakfasts at other hotels. I always have a good stay here.

This is the 2nd time i have stayed here and will always stay when I'm here. The hotel is very clean. Staff is awesome. Pool has always been clean. They have a good breakfast and it has not been noisy in the hallways like it is at some places we stay. I strongly recommend Best Western Baraboo Inn

Rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Even when the hotel is busy, I do not hear much for noise. Staff is courteous, helpful, and friendly. They are always great you with a smile. Location is great, close to the Wisconsin Dells.

Very nice clean updated hotel. We were in town on vacation and it was located next to places we planned to visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The king room was spacious and had work desk, lounge chair, microwave and mini fridge. The bed was comfortable and room had updates. Bathroom sparkled.

We had the best experience here! Patrick was so helpful and patient with my family and I. The best customer service I've ever experienced and we will definitely be back and recommend this hotel for families!

Staff always greets me with a smile. Room is very clean and quiet, which is very appreciated due to my work hours. Beds are very comfortable. Grab and go breakfast is handy, the fresh bananas are the best!

Tom and Kevin were wonderful to work with in coordinating all the specifics for my daughter's wedding. This included constantly adding onto our block of rooms as needed and a conference room to use to have makeup girls and our refreshments. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. You couldn't have been more accommodating. The whole staff was great. Thank you so much for making our special day so enjoyable. Debbie Haddican

I stay here every trip to the Dells area, very thoughtful staff, especially Tom. Clean! Hope some day they can get the attached restuarant open again, but in the mean time the area has so many food choices anyway. Just really nice people.... 'll

I've stayed at every hotel / motel within Baraboo and Best Western is the best. The staff is very friendly and always accomodating. Everything is near by along with quick access to food. This property is also the safest I've been at.

Don't believe the high rating and nice pictures on Google. I stayed here last night. The hotel amenities are very basic - almost like a bigger motel. I really pissed off because that their official website says “News from the Front Desk - Free hot breakfast buffet.” But in reality it's just comprised of very cheap grab and go items. It's unacceptable when all restaurants including buffet restaurants are fully open in this area. The hotel was listed for $240 per night. It's totally rip-off. I gave one star for the cleanliness.

Desk Clerks were super friendly and helpful. They were genuinely caring people and made us feel valued. I have a prosthetic leg and they assisted in bringing the cart to the truck at check-in and carrying coffee in the morning when I was in my wheelchair. The room was beautiful, spacious and enjoyable. We only stay at Best Western and this is my favorite Best Western yet.

Traveled into town at about 2:30 a.m. We had 2 kids in tow and no other rooms available in town. The gentleman at the front said they could do the room for 140 bucks with taxes and fees so we took the bait. BAD IDEA!!!!! Upon walking into the hotel the lobby looked decent but had a strange faint smell but we figured at almost 3 in the morning and 2 kids almost 4 hours from home it would be decent enough. First thing, there was a man who appeared to be passed out drunk with his back car door open, no shoes on, laying across the back seat in the far end of the parking lot. Guess that explains the security cameras everywhere. Walked to our room and the door lock appeared to be broke as if someone had previously kicked the door in. We used the empty stroller to wedge under the handle to barricade the door shut. The bathroom had dried urine on the floor around the toilet. The whole room smelt musty and like mildew and dirty body odor. The top comforter blanket had dried blood on it. We removed all blankets and slept with a thin sheet. The front desk gentleman could have cared less as there wasn't any other available rooms so we had to suck it up or take a 4 hour drive home. Since we had booked over the phone they had already charged our card. Worst part was we called best western customer loyalty service department and all we got offered was a temporary upgrade status on our account ( yippee, early check in and late check out which we already get and a free bottle of water upon check in, big flippin deal), and 5000 bonus points which doesn't even earn us a night's stay anywhere. Seriously reconsidering our loyalty to Best Western and will likely go somewhere else next time.

Overcharged for sure. This hotel charges apparently a lot above it should be (I paid $140/night). Everything was super old, cracks along the skirting line of the wall, big cracks in the window frames, unreasonable arrangement of sink and bathroom, holes on the wall for outlets (seems not finished). AC was a bit noisy too. WORST BREAKFAST EVER. Only several cold items was provided for "breakfast", many of them unhealthy. We were shocked when we see the counter and was told that was all the breakfast. This hotel could only be described as somewhere you can sleep and shower, nothing else you should expect, and again, price was ridiculously high!

We enjoyed our one-night stay at this clean, comfortable hotel. Beds/rooms were comfortable. Place was clean. Nice breakfast options. Friendly staff. Definitely would stay again. There were 7 traveling in our family -- two rooms -- and I believe we all had a nice time.

This motel was very clean reasonably priced. The Breakfast was a little disappointing with not much to offer. The staff was nice about letting us check out an hour later than normal time. We appreciated that very much. It was a great location for the things we wanted to do.

The staff was very friendly and did what ever they could to advise and help me plan a great weekend getaway. Pool and hot tub had long hours to make it easy to relax after a long day of hiking. You could see improvements have been made, I hope they continue.

Despite the exorbitant cost of the room, neither the mini fridge or the coffee maker were clean, and this hotel doesn't even offer guests liquid/moisturizing body wash, conditioner or lotion... it's just bar soap and a "bottle" of shampoo literally the size of my thumb. I asked for more shampoo, and for conditioner and body wash and was told they didn't have any of those things, just gave me more bar soap instead of more shampoo.

I wanted an inexpensive and convenient place to stay to see the Dell's and Devil's Lake, and this hotel fit the bill. Clean enough, coffee was drinkable, and we were close enough to Baraboo downtown dining. I would stay again.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room. We were satisfied with our experience and would stay there in the trip without a doubt. Pool area was nice. The bar/restaurant was closed which was sad. We heard from local people that the bar was great. We can only assume it was closed because of staffing from Covid.

Frequent user of this Hotel. We always felt we could trust it to be good quality for the price. This time it really failed. The linens and mattress have not been replaced in years. Despite the fact we had the large jacuzzi suite, there were only 2 mini waste baskets for the whole suite. When I asked Daniel, years ago, he said it was due to costs. Perhaps a trip to the dollar store would help. Amenities and linens provided were disappointing. Don't expect to cuddle up under a fluffy comforter. Hot breakfast has been replaced by a skimpy “to go” breakfast because of Covid yet there was no compensation in room charges. Go somewhere else if you want a good breakfast. We stayed three nights. On the first day we didn't get a room cleaning. We thought it was our fault because we lingered in the room that morning. The second morning we got out promptly but when we returned at 3:30 pm, the room again had not been changed. I had to chase down the cleaning staff who were way over in another wing. He told me they would be over to our side in about an hour. When it was obvious that was not acceptable, he escorted me back and we got clean dry towels. Positive: during a heavy downpour, our window began to leak. They made note of it for a future repair and offered to do a temporary fix. . After listening to a mini elephant herd tramping the floor above us, I finally complained. The desk was quick to respond and the noise stopped. We should have complained earlier. My question is why would they put the “Family Suites” in an upstairs floor. Obviously it is hard to keep a bunch of kids quiet. Checkout and checkin were easy. Rooms were clean. Staff was pleasant. I'm sorry, I no longer felt special here. It did not live up to Best Western status. Maybe Super 8?

Comfortable hotel for visiting Baraboo area. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The air conditioner was a bit loud but typical of this kind of hotel. Easy check-in/-out. Although I did not use it on this trip, the fitness room looked good. Continental breakfast was excellent with good choices -- even for my gluten-free wife. We would stay hear again.

The hotel staff were all very courteous, friendly, and welcoming. The lobby and hotel room were clean and in good condition. What stands out the most, however, is the personal attention we received after leaving a valued item in our room following departure. The manager was very empathetic, able to locate our item, and mail it back with a very funny and personal note attached. We really appreciated this extra effort and act of kindness and would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for great value and personable service.

My husband and I love staying at Best Western Baraboo. Always welcoming us by our first names when we get there, our stay is a delight!! Whenever or whatever we need or want, they get it for us and always with a SMILE! Everything is located near the hotel, (stores, restaurants, etc. even a casino). The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and it's priced just right, too! Best Western is lucky to have such nice, friendly, and caring employees representing their company. Best Western Baraboo is a family run business, and they really, really treat us like family. So, stop in and have them treat like family.

The front desk, not just friendly, truly enjoyed helping make our stay more enjoyable. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The lobby, hallways, and pool area were clean and up-to-date. --Probably due to Covid, breakfast seemed a little sparce, but always fresh fruit. The only "complaint" would be that the airconditioning unit was a little loud... but this is true of most hotels. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend this location.

We had a nice clean room with a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast grab and go had a nice variety of choices, and it is centrally located so a good place to stay between Baraboo and Wisconsin Dells.

After reserving a jacuzzi room we were told that they didn't want us to keep using the jacuzzi because the fuse kept getting flipped and they worried there may be other underlying issues. After checking out I asked for a discount since I couldn't use the jets I paid for in my room, but all they could offer was a discounted room at a later date. I didn't even bother. I was so insulted from the whole experience I didn't want to give them any more of my money. Clarion across the road has a jacuzzi as well.

Recently stayed at this hotel on a family girls trip. Took my daughter to the Mt. Olympus water park and did the Dell's boat tours. I've stayed at other Best Westerns and like that they are affordable and clean. The hotel and the room were very clean. The front desk staff was very friendly. I meant to get their names but they were so nice. One morning I could hear who I'm guessing to be the manager telling the cleaning staff to make sure the rooms were super clean and making sure the pool area was clean and sanitized. There was breakfast available. There were different Jimmy Dean sandwiches, juice, milk, cereal, muffins, fresh fruit, and yogurt. Pretty impressive for covid grab and go. The only reason I'm giving a 4 is that the bed was not comfortable for me. I could feel every spring. My cousin and daughter thought the beds were just ok. My back issues did not agree. Overall a pleasant stay. I will say this was about 15min from the main Dells strip of attractions and restaurants. Coming back late 1 night the highway and streets surrounding have NO LIGHTS. If you are not the best at night driving come back early. The attached restaurant was closed but there is a Mcdonald's and grocery store close.

This Best Western is a 9 minute drive to Devils Lake State Park. It was very clean, staff were friendly, bed was comfortable, and room was quiet. We did not use the pool or whirlpool but it looked nice. Breakfast was more than adequate for our needs with cold cereal, milk, yogurt, microwaveable breakfast sandwich, instant oatmeal, fresh fruit bananas, apples, oranges, hard boiled eggs, muffins, granola bars. As a rewards member, the front desk person upgraded our room to a King room for no extra charge. We found that to be generous and thoughtful. We will for sure stay here again when we visit Devils Lake State Park.

We spent 2 nights, hiking Devil's Lake and exploring the area. The hotel is conveniently located, safe, well maintained. Beds were comfortable, room air working well. Our electronic key worked first time, every time--that never happens! Staff all friendly and helpful. We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves. The easy grab breakfast was the best one we've had this year of Covid. The Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, cheese biscuit excellent, yogurt, granola bars, etc.

Had to stay here while working in the area. It is very conveniently located, the staff was very friendly and accomodating and the room was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here everytime I work in the area

We have stayed at the West Baraboo, WI location many times while visiting family in this area. They have done a great job adapting to changes with COVID, like prepackaged breakfast items. Now, with COVID restrictions ending, we hope the Casino shuttle will be operating soon and we wish the restaurant/lounge attached to the hotel would reopen. We will be back in July.

We always enjoy our time in the area and the staff at the Baraboo Inn help make it worth the trip! We appreciate them going the extra mile to make us comfortable. The rooms where very clean and well stocked for everything we needed. Highly recommend anyone traveling in the area to give them a chance to earn your business.

Room was very nice, bed super comfortable, and a great shower. Tom at the front desk made sure everything was perfect. I will return whenever I am staying in the area, The pool hot tub area looked very nice, although I did not use it. I wish the attached bar/grill was open, but its temporarily closed, but theres several nice places to eat nearby.

I have stayed here a few times when I hike at the nearby state parks (Devil's Lake and Mirror Lake) and while the hotel is not luxurious, it is the place to stay in Baraboo. Rooms are clean, the staff is uniformly friendly and helpful (especially Tom aka Uttam), and while the breakfast is grab and go due to Covid...at least they are trying. To illustrate the quality of the staff, when I had to cut my stay short by one day, the staff handled the last minute change with professionalism and care. The location is perfectly placed for any activities in the area as well. When I return hiking to this area, this is where I will stay.

Grab and go Breakfast...ok, I get that, our room needs some tlc, tables are chipped on the corners, door was hard to open, almost impossible to change temp. on hvac unit, and no alarm clock ( was told it should be by the bed, well it wasn't} I think rates should be lower since there is no hot breakfast, you get a muffin, apple, grannola bar, and a bottle of water! We went to McDonalds for breakfast.

This facility is always clean and comfortable. I stayed here regularly during the pandemic and am very satisfied with their overall protocol. The entire staff is always friendly and welcoming and the check in and out process is very smooth.

I enjoyed my stay. It's a clean and contemporary property. My room was comfortable and well maintained. The pool is about average size. It can get a little crowded at times, but there was always room to swim. (I had the pool to myself a couple times. That probably will change as people travel more.) They have an exercise room but I didn't check it out. Ditto for the business center. I visited while on vacation, and spent much time outside the building. The manager, Tom Patel, is friendly and very helpful. Feel free to ask about local attractions and restaurants. I paid around $90/night, which is about right for a hotel of this caliber. One drawback is that they have only one ice machine for the building. I would've expected another somewhere on the north wing of the building, most likely on the third floor. But the walk to the ice machine, located off the lobby, is a minor convenience.

We stayed here on a ski trip to the Dells (2 adults, no kids). The hotel was centrally located in the very charming town of Baraboo. The hotel staff was polite and responsive. The rooms, lobby, and pool were clean and well-maintained. Nice grab and go breakfast. The price was unbeatable. I will choose this hotel whenever I come back to the Dells to ski.

Everything is close by from restaurants, convenience stores, and everything else. Just off the highway. Easy access and the team there is always accommodating. They answer and request and make the check out process simple.

My wife and I have stayed here MANY times in the past year and have always had great service and really good prices. Any rare issues have been handled immediately. The only time we had an issue was a broken handle on the toilet that the previous guest never reported.

went here for a ski trip. room was clean, breakfast was provide (in grab and go bags) which was nice that they did something. only 15 minutes away form devils lake/ head and the dells. the only thing that was sad is the restaurant was closed but pool and hot tub was open and nice after skiing.

The Price was Right ! The Room and Facility were Very Clean ! The Staff was Very Kind and Helpful ! The Inn is very close to Dining, Entertainment and Kwik-Trip. I will definitely be Staying there again !

We had a clean room, comfy beds & no loud parties even on NYE. About a 20 min drive to ski at Devils head & totally worth it! Resort and rooms at Devils head lodge were filthy and very outdated. We talked to people who had stayed at the actual resort and they were miserable! Loud parties and not staffed well or maintained. Hot tub & pool were great after skiing! Stay at this place!!!

I am a travel nurse working in the Baraboo area. I chose to stay at the Best Western, and it was the best choice I made. They have been extremely accommodating to my crazy schedule. They have gone above and beyond with customer service. I highly recommend staying if you come to the Baraboo area. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable.

Clean quiet upscale experience. Pool and hot tub are always clean . Rooms are spacious with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and iron. Desk two chairs and ottoman.cable tv with two HBO channels. Quiet comfort.

5his hotel is adequate. Close to restaurants and devils lake. The beds are pretty comfortable. The pool is nice size. They offered a grab and go bag for breakfast due to the coved situation which I thought was nice.the staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable.

Well worth paying a few extra dollars for a proper hotel visit. I stayed the weekend and was very pleased with the service and cleanliness of the rooms. I will definitely be choosing this place again.

This hotel is a true gem! My room was spotless, the bed was so comfy, the staff is so welcoming and friendly. With traveling for work it is so nice to have a mini frig, microwave and coffee maker right in my room. Plus, having a washer and dryer available came in very handy as well! It's like my home away from home when I travel to Baraboo! I highly recommend staying here.

Just stayed one night. Did not use the pool or exercise room but both looked nice. The room was average but clean. The Front office staff was nice and explained things and offered suggestions on where to get dinner, he even checked on us shortly after checking in to make sure everything was ok. The sack breakfast because of COVID was nice.

If you are coming to the Baraboo area and are looking for the location that is the best bang for the buck, this is it. It is clean, has recently been updated (new carpet/paint/fixtures/etc), has a fun bar (with decent food), a great pool/hot-tub and offers a very good (hot) breakfast. The staff has-been great the couple times I've stayed. There is a really nice BnB in town (for much more $$$), but for the amenities and experience, for the dollar... when in the Baraboo area I stay here. Also, great place/location if you are skiing at Cascade or Devilshead in the winter, and as we did last weekend...visiting Devils Lake state park in the warmer months.

We stayed here after an overnight stay at Devil's Lake Resort. Obviously, because of COVID, no coffee or breakfast. there were bag breakfasts, I think, however we were not told so. The person behind the counter didn't have a lot of customer service going on. The room was clean.

The hotel was average, average room, beds etc. We weren't looking for fancy, but we didn't want to stay anywhere bad either. I know there were suites available, which were offered but not pushed at us, but we just needed the room for a night so we were just looking for normal and average. It was slightly above average, as it had a microwave and mini fridge in the room, which was unexpected. But what led me to writing review was how personable, friendly, and helpful the manager Tom Patel was, that checked us in. He was outstanding and asked what we were in town for, and we talked about things around the area and all of that. He went above and beyond most hotel front desk people need to and was super welcoming and friendly, and not pushy about the suites he offered that were also available. It was nice after a long day of hiking and running around to have such a friendly, warm person checking us in and making small talk about the area and asking us later about the room and if we needed anything. Great guy!

We had a good nights sleep at the hotel. It's in a safe location, staff was nice and very helpful. They used to have a good breakfast but of course with Covid this is not possible right now but they did provide a boxed breakfast. Wish they had at least coffee in the lobby as I hate making coffee in my room.

All my family had a great time in the pool. Everything was well clean. The front desk was awesome he gave us information on places to go near by. Breakfast was ok. Alot of near by restaurants to choose.

Bath Room was terrible. Snot on Wall . Black Mold on ceiling. Door frame Rusted Wall in sleeping area had something smeared on it. other wall had Nicks. Refrigerator had some sort of liquid on the bottom. Pool was dirty. if you're going to charge resort Prices you should provide resort cleanliness.

The room was clean and comfortable, The General Manager, Tom, had great customer service skills. He was personable, polite and very helpful. Because of covid going on the regular breakfast was not offered but they did have a grab and go option which included a granola bar, muffin, and apple.

The hotel was very well run, and everyone had masks for Covid. The pool and hot tub are nice. The room was OK, but the Tub/Shower had rust in spots and repair holes. We went to Circus World Museum and the Ringling Museum. Highly recommend both, but Circus world should be visited when it fully open.

During a recent bicycle trip in Wisconsin, a group of us stayed at the Best Western. It was excellent for many reasons. #1 CLEAN! The rooms were very clean and the common area was also. #2 FACE MASKS! Employees were wearing face masks. #3 TOM and KEVIN! They both were at the front desk and both super helpful before and during our trip.

Made a last minute decision to take a detour after our camping in Lodi. We had limited WiFi at camping site so a quick search and found the Best Western Inn. We have really enjoyed clean room, comfortable beds and pool. Tom, the manager was helpful and guided us on the sites to visit. We will definitely come back as their so much to do in Baraboo and stay at this Best Western. My kids 11,9 and 7 enjoyed the visit to the Big Cat rescue, Devils Lake, Circus world and Ochsner zoo.

We had a backyard wedding in Baraboo and stayed at the Best Western in the honeymoon suite, due to COVID19 there really isn't anywhere to go. Really lovely and comfortable rooms, our family stayed in the hotel as well. The honeymoon suite was pretty overpriced - a regular queen sized room with a tiny heart shaped jacuzzi that can fit one small person, kind of defeating the purpose. Comfortable beds, nice channel selection, The day after our wedding I woke up with a severe vertigo attack and needed to go the ER. No where on site do they have a wheelchair, which is common practice at any hotel. The best we could do was use an office chair to take a nearly unconscious adult from the room to the car. It was hard to find someone who spoke English well enough to understand there was an emergency. Although my husband and I had this bad ordeal, my other family enjoyed their stay and the kids loved the pool/hot tub.

Very nice place, Tom the desk manager is super. He went all out to make me welcome and gave me the name of a new restaurant near Devils Lake State Park. I will stay here again later this summer. The restaurant is Tumbled Rock. A great find

Too expensive w/o a continental breakfast. We were given a jailhouse brown bag containing a bottle of water, an apple and a muffin?! No coffee or tea in lobby. Vending machines outrageous! $1.50 for a candy bar?? Very disappointed

Clean and comfortable. The staff is nice and the place is clean the rooms could be a little better quality kitchen and tv wise but the breakfast is good and healthy. And the pool and hot tub were relaxing and clean. But over all a nice place to stay.

I'm in the Baraboo area regularly and always stay at this facility. The clean and comfortable rooms along with the pleasant staff make for a positive experience every time. If you are in the Baraboo or Wisconsin Dells area this is definitely the best value for your dollar.

I thought the room was a little over priced. It was nice to have a lounge connected to the hotel. The lounge had karaoke on Saturday night which was fun after we came back to the hotel after the wedding reception. To bad that there was only one bar tender, which made service slow.

This hotel is perfect. Its around 15 to 20 minutes away from Devils Head and Cascades. The location is great, number of great restaurants nearby. We had a double queen room for $63 per night compared to $110 and up for others. It has a nice pool and a hot tub and my kids bragged how good breakfast was. Staff were super friendly. This will be our go to when we stay in Baraboo.

The overall experience was fine but it really depended on who was at the front desk. I had some issues with the hotel rate online vs on-site but those were quickly resolved. I was in 3 different rooms over 4 nights. They couldn't figure out how to extend my reservation

The staff were awesome! They are so very helpful no matter your quest. The lobby was very clean and updated. With winter there was someone mopping and cleaning up the salt and slop constantly. Our room was a double queen room. It was recently updated, spacious and very clean. The beds were some of the best ones I slept in compared to so many other hotels I have stayed. Other hotels need to take note. The pool was actually WARM...Yes I said it! WARM! It was so very nice to be able to actually swim and not get too cold as I have at other establishments. The Hot tub was HOT! My travel sore body loved every min of my time there. They also had color changing lights in both the pool and hot tub. That was pretty cool. I suspect that both are salt water which means my eyes and chest didn't hurt from all the chemicals for chlorine pools. We had dinner at Bonzo's the restaurant at the hotel. It was a small menu but it was very good. Especially since they were short staffed. The Chicken wings and Cheeseburger were a great meal for us! The prices were decent. I usually don't order soda so I decided on a water. That was the best tasting water I have ever had anywhere. I even had a refill to take upstairs to my room. The Bartender for Saturday night was super helpful and had the perfect personality to fun a bar. Great Job! Anytime we walked to the lobby to get free coffee they offered the Manager and staff all would ask us how our stay was going. I really appreciated that because that means they care that their customers are being treated very well. The breakfast was nice and hot with a large assortment of items. If you went hungry you are either picky or not a breakfast person lol. The staff person running that was also very nice and helpful. Management you have a wonderful team! That is half the struggle in running a business. Great Job everyone & a huge thank you to you all! Check out was a breeze and I am ready to check back in! LOL Hopefully soon. Definitely worth the drive for a ladies get away weekend. I hope this helps future costumers, Owners, Mgr and staff. You all were fantastic and why we left good tips for the meals, the bar and the maid service. Thank you again!

Conveniently located near many food options. Quiet, comfortable room with larger than average refrigerator. Friendly, respectful, and helpful staff. The trims and finishes were a little outdated and while the bed and pillows were comfy, they had a musty smell. The walls in the bathroom showed a lot of wear, tear, and repairs. With that said, I will stay here again as it fits my travelling needs and I appreciate the value.

We've stayed at this Hotel in the past. The Hotel has been updated and remodeled. It looks nice and is clean and well managed. We breakfast room and facilities were clean and the food was prepared and displayed very well. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were clean and nice.

We enjoyed our stay very much. This was our first visit to this Best Western motel. While this is an older motel, it is well taken care of. The rooms are very nice and VERY clean. All the common areas, including the pool area, are very clean. Considering this motel is right on a busy highway, the rooms are quiet. No outside sounds could be heard. We slept very well. Everyone on staff is very friendly. No matter who we saw or passed in the hallways, all the staff members acknowledged our presence. Love the warm pool and hot hot tub. The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of items. We can find nothing during this stay that we did not like. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend.

We picked this motel because we like BW motels and the one did not let us down. All the employees from the front desk to the cleaning crew were all wonderful. The lounge is a very nice place to go to and it is wonderful that it is attached to the motel. Did not have to go out of motel and the bartender was wonderful. I would recommend this motel.

First time in years at a BW...... very overpriced for what was offered in return....nothing exceptional and for $123.00 I would have expected much more......It wouild take some convincing for me to stay again at a BW versed other nicer lodgings.

Close to Devil's Lake where we were headed. Morning breakfast was good and that room was extremely cared for. the maintenance man was filling in for the regular breakfast person. All the cleaning staff was very helpful and friends.. We would stay there again.

Stayed for the weekend. Could only get a handicapped room for two of our three night stay. So we had to move in the middle of our stay. Once we got into the handicapped room we realized that there was no stool and handicapped meant that the put a couple bars extra in the tub. No way for my mother to actually shower as she cannot stand to shower. The side entryway to the hotel was also very difficult to get through. The breakfast was not good.

Staff was great. They went above expectations to assist me with completing laundry when the consumer washing machine was being utilized. They offered food and beverage recommendations in the area and were courteous throughout my 6 night stay.

Stay at the Best Western in Madison frequently and we found this property to be cleaner with friendly and helpful staff. Close to Dells attractions, but far enough away to avoid the congestion. Nice little bar attached to property. Best Western provides a good value for quick overnight trips.

Had another nice visit to our favorite Best Western. Staff is fantastic! Hotel is perfect for us. Breakfast in the morning is wonderful! Great location for visiting the Dells and for Devils lake. The staff always have suggestions for us to do different things every time we are there!

Perfect location to stay during summer to visit Devils Lake. Hotel is not far away fron Devis Head ski resort as well. Good base to stay there during winter. Shops and restaurants in a walking distance.

Stopped here on our way home from Chicago. Very nice small town hotel but with a large hotel feel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the pool and hot tub area were clean and they even had a small patio outside next to the pool to get some sun. Rooms where clean and neat and well kept.

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting Devil's Lake State Park & other attractions in the Wisconsin Dells area. This hotel is conveniently located between both areas. Check-in upon arrival was smooth. Our room was clean and had adequate space to set up a Pack 'n Play for our young child. Each morning we took advantage of the complimentary breakfast. The quality was good, but not a lot of variations in the offering from day-to-day. We also used the pool & hot tub on several occasions without any issues. The staff was polite all three days, and quick to respond to any needs that we had. Without a doubt, we will stay here again in the future.

We were first given a room with a king sized bed. The front desk was pleasant and prompt about changing it to a room with two beds. However, the bed in the first room had wrinkled sheets. It actually looked as if someone had been sitting on the sheets. The room was a good size and clean. The breakfast was lacking though. Processed and packaged food. Thankfully, we had leftovers from our dinner the night before and we all ate that for breakfast.

Great staff and service at this location. Nicole and Tom were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this location. Close to Dells and State parks. Good breakfast and internet was fast. Overall, great experience.

We were in the suite and it was very nice. The room was clean and updated. We had 3 children and there was plenty of room for them. The breakfast was good and there was a nice seating area. I was pleased with the hotel and would stay there again if I were to return.

Checked into the hotel and found bed bugs in the mattress. Yes, we look! We contacted the front desk and told them about the bugs. They did not seem surprised and told us they only sprayed for bedbugs when they had to. We checked out.

Stopped for one night to visit the awesome Devils Lake and had stayed here 20 years ago. It was great! Comfy bed and clean room with good breakfast including hot items. Checked in late at 9pm and got our 2 pre booked rooms next to each other.

I was a guest at the Baraboo Wisconsin Best Western for one night and found my experience to be very positive. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and everything was operational and the breakfast buffet was great.

The overall appearance of the hotel was beautiful. We especially loved the pool and hot tub area and spent quite a few nights in that area relaxing. Breakfast was great with a variety of items to choose from. This hotel is close to the Dells which was a bonus.

If you're staying in Baraboo, this is probably as good as your going to get, although the Clarion across the street offers a comparable experience. Pros: Convenient location, clean room, basic breakfast available, quiet sleep experience. Cons: Poor quality mattress, inexpert housekeeping staff (somebody teach these folks how to properly make a bed, please!), lousy coffee. Our biggest complaint: Although this hotel has decent handicap accessibility features in the rooms (good open floor space for wheelchair, roll-in shower, good placement of grab bars, open sink and desk) it does NOT have automatic doors for entering and exiting the hotel. So you've got to drag open multiple heavy doors and wrestle the wheelchair over the thresholds at the same time. It was extremely awkward and inconvenient. Also, the mirror in the bathroom is positioned too high for a person in a wheelchair to be able to see into it. Best Western, let's get those automatic doors installed! You're not handicap accessible without them.

Very nice front desk, very tired looking room, old bed with body dips, dated decor, ice on main floor only,indoor pool only, good breakfast. There's an attached restaurant that looked cute, but under different management.

We drove to Baraboo, WI to explore the state park and the local town. Hotel was strategically located to get to both places easily and quickly. We enjoyed downtown Baraboo and didn't realize Ringling Brothers are from there. New fun fact!

Checking into the hotel was a breeze and the host at the front desk was very friendly and informative. He informed us of the amenities and even local events going on. The rooms were clean and the pool was clean as well. It was a little crowded in the pool but what do you expect with it being Fourth of July weekend. I just thought the price was a little high 180 for two people one night. This is also coming from an air bnb'er so take that with a grain of salt.

The hotel staff was professional and went out of there way for me! I didn't meet one bad staff member from all 3 shifts each Guest service representative acknowledged me and greeted me with a smile. I arrived a few hours before check in. The front desk staff went out of their way to get me into one of my rooms early! I really appreciated that. The hotel has had renovations and is well decorated! Pool area was clean and the kids loved it! If I'm in the area I will never look any further then Best Western!

We go to Baraboo regularly to visit family and have done so for years. Our first choice is always this Best Western location. The rooms are clean. The prices are competitive. But the staff, especially Tyler at the front desk, continues to make us feel at home every time. Problem? They'll fix it. Question? They'll answer it. Need a recommendation? They'll help you. We also like that this hotel location is close to everything without being in the middle of noise, traffic, and congestion. Very easy to get up to the Dells and very easy to get to Baraboo attractions (country club/golf, zoo, Circus World)

Two friends and I stayed in separate rooms for two days visiting the local circus museum and were generally happy with the Baraboo Inn. It was ideal in location; it was clean and offered an outstanding breakfast. The pool looked good, but we didn't use it. One item that they cannot change: The general layout for the newer south wing must have been designed by a drunken architect. It's nearly a maze to get to a 2nd floor room - and no elevator. After all of that, I would recommend this hotel & would stay there again.

I do not typically stay at Best Western. Yes, the staff here is friendly, courteous, willing to help. But the room disappointed. Sheets are worn and thin with a smell. The room smelled even after turning down the AC to ventilate. Towels are thin and scratchy. We only stayed here because it was a convenient stop after a long day of driving and convenient for visiting Circus World. This property needs a renovation! We shortened our planned stay to move along to other destinations and stay at a Hilton property.

Recently my husband and I did a get away to Baraboo and stayed here. We had a king room that was very comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of options to choose from. Everything was neat and clean. The location was great.

After hours of frustration stuck in miserable traffic snarls in the Madison area, and unable to even locate our previously booked hotel, we moved on to arrive, unannounced, at this Baraboo property whereupon we were met by Tyler Weber, Front Office Manager, who not only met our need but actually provided a most welcomed upgrade. His positive attitude and friendly manner actually changed our entire perspective for the remainder of our journey north.

The rooms were clean and updated. Breakfast was very nice. Coffee around the clock. I honestly did not use the pool or exercise room. Rooms are not huge, but the location is excellent, prices are really good and staff is courteous.

We stayed at the Best Western in Baraboo after hiking at Devil's Lake. The hotel is conveniently located to the park which was nice, Staff was nice, but for the price the hotel is dated and beds and pillows were not very good quality. The mattress sagged to one side and the pillows seemed like they were stuffed with big wads of batting. We were on the second floor and could hear people walking above us, which was annoying. Breakfast was okay and opened at 6 AM which was nice. Probably would not stay there again if we go back.

A good, and much less expensive place to say. Rooms and common areas were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is only so-so and the room can get overrun pretty quickly if some kid's team is in town. We would stay here again.

The BW in Baraboo WI is a great hotel for the price and in a good location, near WI Dells and Ho Chunk casino, Room was clean, staff friendly, internet worked well. Complimentary breakfast offers many choices.

Booked hotel rooms for in-laws and made an error with online reservation. The receptionist was very gracious in correcting my mistake and even arranged for adjoining rooms. The next morning, my in-laws told me how nice their rooms were and that the hot breakfast was delicious. I am very appreciative how the staff and the hotel made their visit enjoyable!. Thank you BW!

Stayed here a month for Business. Quiet, Clean, Friendly. Attached restaurant has great food and staff. Good Breakfast and Comfortable Beds. Easy access to area attractions. Great Rates and Excellent Management!

I booked a three-night stay during the first full week of May and got an exceptionally good rate. (As things worked out, I had to head home on the evening of what would have been the final night, but that had nothing to do with the property.) Room was good, all the appliances worked as advertised, it was quiet. The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast fare was fine. My only problem was that there was something flaky about the Wi-Fi; both of my devices were repeatedly unable to establish an internet connection; a troubleshooting routine was able to work around the problem, and get me connected but it was a bit of an annoyance and I had to go through it every time I wanted to go online. Still, in all it was a good stay and I would absolutely consider staying here again were I to return to the area.

All the good: Called hotel and talked with James (3rd shift) very friendly, outgoing and helpful. We made a reservation very quick n easy. We checked in and Nicolette (sp) was friendly, somewhat knowledgeable about the area. Went to our room and it was BLOWN AWAY in a great way. Room was spacious, clean, quiet, and well taken care of. After a bit we went to the pool Pool was excellent and hot tub was was the best around. Now to bad (minor) Everytime we went by front desk, the clerk was ALWAYS on her personal cell phone. Customers seemed to be a slight distraction for her. OVERALL THE STAY WAS A 98% I would recommend this hotel to everyone

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was fresh and comfortable and food tasty and ample. I would stay here again. Baraboo is a lovely little two as well with some cool landscape and museums to visit.

Great place for our soccer team. We had 10 rooms, all families, players, everyone enjoyed their stay. Easy checkin and checkout. I'll consider Best Western in my hotel searches from now on. Thank you!

I stay at this hotel every year, now, when my boys camp up at Devils Lake ‘cause it's rainy and freezing when they like to come. 37 degrees is good to hike, but not to sleep! And this hotel is very comfy. Really. It's a 12 minute drive up to the Lake. With a pool, jacuzzi, free breakfast, workout room, Bonzo's bar and grill, and (honestly) the nicest staff, it's my go-to hotel. The assistant manager was willing to work out a possible time that the boys could come swim (they never did, but it was nice to be allowed that opportunity). The bartender was super friendly and made all kinds of drink suggestions. The patrons at the bar were engaging and super funny. It's a great place to stay for a while if you're visiting Devils Lake or you're just passing through for a night. Here are some pics I took at Devils Lake. The pictures of the hotel online are true to life so no need really here. Hike or belay up the rocks. You can burn a bunch of calories. (Easy parking, off the main route, close to stores and other attractions too)

My husband and I took it today and trip to Baraboo And stayed at the Best Western. The staff were courteous and very helpful. I would especially like to thank Nicole because she worked hard to make sure that we had a great experience. We had booked a king room for the first night, and we had booked a double queen for the second night as our grandchildren were coming to visit us. Unfortunately we were caught in the spring Snowstorm, and the kids could not come up to visit. When we mentioned this to Nicole, she immediately asked us if we wanted to move back into a king room, which of course we did. This was totally unnecessary, but absolutely appreciated! The hotel in rooms were very clean, and the pool area was a delight. Great place to stay! Thank you again to the staff for making her stay so comfortable ,

We were in town for a wedding. Very nice accommodations. The rooms are clean, fresh, and spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful. Basic plus continental breakfast in a comfortable setting, not crowded.

There for a family funeral- the rooms were a little on the tight side for double beds but functional. Has a restaurant but I didn't use. The breakfast was enjoyable. The price was reasonable and I would stay again.

We were in Baraboo for a funeral. It was a good price for a night's sleep and everyone was pleasant. We did not use the facilities. Breakfast was decent. It cost more to board my dog. I didn't give it 5 stars because it wasn't very up to date and needed some expert re-caulking in the bathroom, but it served its purpose

Desk Staff were pleasant and helpful. The place was clean. Maybe a little old, but still well-maintained. The pool area is small, but nice: the hot tub is very hot, probably 104 degrees; the pool water was warm. Nice. Breakfast area was crowded, but many good food choices: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, waffles, fruit, etc. Tall showers in the room, which is a plus. There was an odd odor in the third floor hallway -- probably marijuana smoke. Other guests noticed it too. Other than that, everything was acceptable. We would stay here again.

I had stayed here just a few days ago and I will say not a bad looking place for a small town. Lots of excitement in bonzos. The manager Tyler was pretty rude and stressed witch kinda made me uncomfortable..but then the over night staff James omg what a wonderful man he is joyful caring and makes you feel safe! I would definitely be giving him a huge raise if I were his boss great great guy!! I didn't think I'd stay there again after how the manager was but it took 1 employee to change my mind! I hope to laugh with James again on my next stay!!

Clean rooms, comfy bed, decent sized pool (I didn't actually have time to go in it), average breakfast buffet. I was actually pretty excited for the breakfast after reading the reviews, but I didn't think it was much better than a lot of other hotel breakfasts I've had. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were cold and dry, the eggs and sausage links weren't to my taste either. We got a whirlpool suite and the tub was large, although a little uncomfortable. The other thing is that filling is the tubs is LOUD, we were woken up by the people next to us filling their whirlpool tub at 8 AM and couldn't sleep. However, the attached bar was pretty busy and had a fun karaoke night! Unfortunately the bartender was the only person on staff to run the bar and the kitchen so the full menu wasn't available. We ordered cheese curds and pizza and both were better than what I was expecting. Also, the people at the front desk were always very nice! They called the Ho-Chunk shuttle for us which was great..the shuttle itself is a different story but the hotel has nothing to do with that :)

Spent an overnight here and found the staff friendly and the facilities good. Only the iced parking lot needing work but it is Wisconsin and winter does happen. Don't plan on eating at the attached restaurant, even with low expectations we found it lacking.

My husband and I stayed in a whirlpool room. It was very nice. Bathroom was small and whirlpool could have been a little bigger but I was satisfiied. Staff was very kind and welcoming. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice as well.

Clean and up to date rooms. Great customer service. Complete and functioning amenities. Can't ask for much more. We stayed in February 2019 for two nights. Only gripe -- and I consider this pretty minor-- is that part of the second floor is only accessible by stairs. If you need accessible accommodations, you need to make sure you request it before you arrive. It was hardly a problem for us but for larger families with lots of bags and/or babies in tow, or folks with mobility impairment, it may be a problem.

If you plan to be close to local attraction the Best Western West Bataboo is the place. Close to Devils Head for skiing in winter time and close to Devils lake in summer. Good service and plenty of options to go out.

We got a king room instead of the double queen we paid for, also turned out our heat was not working... kept making a banging sound. So we froze. Also had used bars of soap in the shower. We reported this to the front desk and all he said was oh that room has a new heater...

Excellent value, nice clean hotel and a friendly and helpful front desk add up to a very good experience.I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Baraboo. The location also makes it very convenient to Wisconsin Dells.

This hotel accommodated our family gatherings by allowing us a meeting room for game-playing and potluck-style eating. They went out of their way to assist us. We just restarted an old tradition of gathering in Baraboo for family fun over the New Year's Eve holidays and decided on this hotel for our first gathering. We Wil definitely return.

A comfortable and clean place to stay. The pool was the perfect temperature and hot tub was hot! Plenty of items to choose from for breakfast. Good service and easy access to the town. Baraboo is such a sweet town to visit, nice variety of restaurants to choose from.

The room was remodeled and uniquely pleasing to stay in. We were there to view the crane migration at the Aldo Leopold Center nearby. The breakfast was well done in a room with all windows, clean, with all of the continental breakfast staples, plus fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy, waffles, etc. The fact that the oatmeal was hot and freshly made, not from a packet, was a homey touch. All of the daytime staff people were extremely friendly, and in the end, extremely honest. I forgot my wedding ring on the counter in our room, and when I called an hour after we checked out, the person who answered the phone said that someone had just found it, and had put it in the safe for me. They were so kind when I came back to get it, I am very grateful.

The hotel and staff were wonderful! The room was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was better than I expected for a hotel. I will definitely be back in the future as I am in the Baraboo area several times a year.

From Oct 28 - Nov 11, I was at home away from home. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The staff at front desk (Tom and Kevin) showed best hospitality by offering service and addressing my requests. The other staff was friendly and greeted with smile always! Breakfast had lot of choices and place was cleaned and stocked every 15min during breakfast hours. Very impressed of curtsy and hospitality delivered at this place. Definitely recommend it to families and business professionals to consider this place to stay and enjoy.

Stayed here 2 nights for a wedding. Room was just ok, looked like it could use a good remodel. The pillows were horrible, small, square, hard chunks. When we walked in they had 4 of the pillows on the king sized bed and they had room on both sides of them where they could have added a a whole other pillow on each side. So small and so hard. After not sleeping a wink the first night I actually drove to the walmart down the road and bought 2 of their cheapest pillows. I slept much better the 2nd night with my own pillows. The air/heater is very loud and it's very dark in the room. The sink if outside the bathroom and there is a light for that and they have 3 other lamps in the room but even with all three lamps on it's very dark in there. No light by the closet area and you need to turn the bathroom light on to have any light at all to see there with. The bedding looked very worn and thin. As I said, the room needs a remodel. The pool looked nice--we didn't use it. The fitness room was small but also looked adequate--we didn't use that either. We did have a free breakfast both mornings and it was adequate too. Had waffles, oatmeal, 2 cold cereals, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage, sausage gravy, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, milk, coffee, bread, bagels, and danishes that were very hard/old. Normal continental breakfast. I would probably look at staying somewhere else if I were to go back to Baraboo again.

Spacious room. Excellent wifi. Very Clean. Good sized breakfast area. In Sept 18 there were some crazy roadworks though it seemed they might be getting close to completion. Don't be shy about driving through various parking lots to get to the hotel if necessary. Very good value for the price paid.

I called to make a reservation. They didn't originally have both nights, but made some changes to make it possible. Also arranged for adjoining rooms. The pool was warm! Staff was friendly and answered questions. Hotel was clean and comfortable. I'd stay there again.

I was allowed to check in almost two hours early after I explained we were going hiking in Devils Lake state park. Front desk staff was very helpful in directing us to Devils Lake. Very good front desk staff and bartender Mike was super cool and sings an awesome karaoke. (He sings a mean Elvis! Ask for it)

We stayed two nights visiting the International Crane Foundation and other sites in the area. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The manager was helpful providing directions and restaurant recommendations. The included breakfast offered many choices. The hotel is a very good value.

A very unexpected great time. Good food, drinks, and people. Very clean enterance. Rooms decor nice. Staff in lounge/bar was super awesome. Friendly and kind. Front desk staff was very friendly and fun to talk to.

I stayed two nights on business and it was a comfortable place to spend at night. When I checked in there was a miscommunication, but the gentleman at the counter handled it professionally and quickly. The room was clean and spacious enough to set up my work station. The bed was comfortable and I had no problems with the WiFi. There was a good variety of items for breakfast and the breakfast area was well maintained. All of my expectations were exceeded.

This hotel by far more then exceeded my expectations! I was so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful I was treated by staff it made the first impression of the property a good one! The lobby is beautifully decorated whoever chose the theme and colors got it right and the first initial impression was that the hotel looks brand new and the hotel just flows everything from the wood chosen to the floors and fabrics all flow together perfectly these small things really make a difference! The room was so clean and again the small attention to detail stuff like the color they chose to paint the walls gave such a relaxing warm feeling to the room! I will be back for a future stay!

Hotel was average. Conveniently located near variety of restaurants and attractions. I don't know what else to say. It was a hotel, it served the purpose I needed it for. If you need a place to sleep for a few nights I would definitely recommend it. If you are looking to spend most of your time in the hotel, I would consider staying somewhere else.

Nice clean hotel with extremely pleasant and helpful staff. They were able to accommodate both of my requests for a king size bed and to be on the 1st floor. These options were not available when I booked the room. We stay here whenever we come to Baraboo to see my daughter. And I recommend it to my family

The motel was clean. The rooms were clean. The front desk was great. The parking was fine. The breakfast was great. Checking out was great. I would come back to this Motel if I was in the Baraboo area again.

We have stayed at the Best Western Baraboo Inn on many occasions. It's conveniently located between the Dells, Devil's Lake and many other attractions. The staff is always friendly and informative. Our rooms are almost always very clean. When we're headed to the area, this is always our first choice for places to stay.

Pretty much outside of town but close to getting lots of different places. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the room was nice and big. The pool was very nice. The breakfast was good too and in a nice room.

This place was clean and comfortable and all the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay here. We will stay here again when we come back up. The price is fair and in a nice location. The construction is not so great but not the hotels fault.

We only stayed 1 night but this hotel is very well maintained and the staff are all very friendly. Room was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Just a short 15-20 minute drive to The Wisconsin Dells area.

I have stayed here numerous times from the age of 18 to now. This is an average best western. Not super clean, but not dirty. Nothing over the top about this place. I recommend staying here when going to Wisconsin Dells as you get the Baraboo price and its only 18 minutes to get to the dells.

My family came into town and stayed here for the weekend. The room was very clean and the towels and bed linens were sparkling white, almost like new. I've been to many hotels where they are greyish or spotty but not here. We met Tom the GM and he was very accommodating with all our needs. We will definitely book this again the next time the family comes to town!

My wife and I stayed here 1 night. We found an older hotel that had been updated. All staff we encountered were very polite and ready to meet our needs! The property was clean, our room was clean with no issues. The only negative, if any, were the bed sheets. Management, please take note! Our sheets were worn, not what we would consider "fresh", and were not fitted to our bed. By morning, the corners had come undone showing bare mattress. Please spend a little money and purchase some decent sheets for your guests. And, get rid of the old ones. Other than the sheets, no issues!

Very good Stay - Loved the location & the town of Baraboo. Delicious full breakfast choices. Manager went out of his way to help us. Will come back next time we are in the Baraboo/Dells/Devils Lake area.

I stay at this property annually, when my family visits Devil's Lake State Park. It is consistently very good. This time, I was placed in a section of the hotel that had been recently updated. Very well done! Beds were so comfortable, very clean, breakfast was more than adequate. I really enjoyed the stay, and will continue to visit every year. (The only thing keeping this hotel from being rated "excellent" was the fact that the entire Pine Road was under construction, and at the time, there was no easy way to access the hotel. Not the fault of the hotel, but did cause some additional stress each night, as the available route to the hotel changed daily.)

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the hot tub. The food at breakfast was good and had a decent selection for a free breakfast. The room was great and comfy. It was close to the Dells, but was less expensive. Could have done without the road construction, but not the hotel's fault.

Upon our arrival and check in, our room was dirty. Let over food in the fridge and an ice bucket with left over melted ice. Topping off our night was the dirty stainew sheets not once but twice. The management blamed the fact we were a large group together. Not sure how that effects your cleaning procedure, but the place was dirty and staff was less then helpful.

We checked in to two rooms around 2 AM. The rooms were very basic but mostly clean, except for the mold spots on the shower curtain. Around 8 AM a maintenance guy started banging around in the next room. Then at 9 AM he opened my room door and announced “maintenance.” I sat up in the bed and said we were in the room. He apologized and said his list showed us as checked out. He said that happens sometimes. I went to the front desk to tell them about the situation. The person there informed me it was because of the time I checked in and “it always does that.” Guess what - if you know there is an issue that negatively impacts your guests you should fix it or create a work around - it's as simple as a post it note.

My wife and I forgot to book a room with the block our daughter's team had at another hotel in town, so we missed out on the rate there and ended up paying more for our stay at the Best Western, which had a room available for us. It was our fault, and it's peak season in the area. That being said, I'm glad we stayed here. The hotel was clean, newly renovated. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. The ice machine was done, but they made arrangements to have ice regularly on hand. Breakfast was great. The location was nice for the tournament and for going to the Dells. I would go back.

In this class of hotel this one seems pretty good, but it's expensive. But what can you expect for Baraboo in the summer? Nice, friendly front desk staff. Clean and well-maintained rooms. It was a quiet night and that actually surprised me. The breakfast was typical. Does anyone really that eat biscuits and gravy? :) I wouldn't consider this a destination hotel, but I'd stay here again if I was in the area.

Stayed here for 2 nights, during our visit to the Dells area. Thought we might need 3 nights, but they kindly canceled our last night when we were ready to move on. Staff members are all very friendly and helpful. Bed was softer than we prefer, but comfortable enough. Washer for patrons' use was out of service.

This hotel is a great option in Baraboo, WI near the Wisconsin Dells. Clean and comfortable rooms and facilities, nice staff, and less expensive than Dells options. It's nothing fancy but gets the job done.

From the outside this motel looks dated but inside the rooms are modern, comfortable and very clean. When I entered my room I was impressed and surprised by the updated decor, bedding, bathroom and conveniences. This motel offers great value within a short drive to Wisconsin Dells. Also, the woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly.

The hotel front desk staff ( Tom) was exceptional as he explained everything about the hotel and he also gave us wonderful information on the area. The hot tub and pool area were clean and provided a marvelous break. The hotel rooms were clean and better than expected. We are really grateful for the service and surprisingly nice accommodations at this location.

I want to thank the staff at the hotel for such a wonderful stay. We always go to the dells but wanted something different (which isn't fair away)but like the less traffic to deal with. I want to note how well Nicolette help us out with restaurants in the Baraboo area. That helped out us out greatly Thank you!!!!. My housekeeper that took care of the stay over during our time was so friendly and respectful (Danny) Thank you! Thanks to Pamala for helping with us with breakfast items for my little one ...you sure know how to put a smile on someones face and also thank you for your help on ideas on what to do in Baraboo (you went beyond for us in so many ways made our stay enjoyable!!!) There are so many wonderful people that work here and I fogot some names....but thank you all !!!!!! Your the best Hands up. We will see you in December .

We found the hotel to be nice and clean. Nice pool and hot tub area. Breakfast was included which was nice. Good waffles, sausage and coffee. Only 2 miles away from the circus so it was convenient to stay at.

I use this Hotel when I am traveling to the area on business trips. What a great place! Rooms are very clean also has a great pool area. The breakfast is a hot breakfast with so much to choice from and drink. Niki,Tyler,Pam are great with guest they are very prompt to answer any questions and concerns if they don't have a fix or answer they will reach out to find it for you. I give this Hotel 5stars!

An older motel but well maintained. Hallway lighting was a little dark, the carpeting was a little dark and unusual pattern as well. Breakfast was great. Room was clean. Location is on the west side of Baraboo, close to the highway and Route 12, the main road to Wisconsin Dells. But still the Circus World Museum was less than a ten minute drive away. We had some water dripping on the carpet in our room from the air conditioner, I talked to a maintenance man and he said that was a common problem due to humidity. The days we were there, there was road construction going on, but it did not impede getting into and out of the parking lot. Staff was friendly.

We stayed here for a 2 night Dells get a way. This hotel was perfect! So clean, employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and well stocked. Our room was clean and bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!!

We really liked the BW Baraboo Inn. It was clean, very well maintained and there wasn't any noticeable traffic noise. But the best thing about the place was the staff. They did a really fantastic job and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Tyler at reception was very helpful and gave us some really good restaurant suggestions. Kevin in the breakfast room was amazing. On the weekend the place was very crowded with kids running all over, Kevin kept his cool, made sure that the buffet was always fully stocked and the room clean. The only thing that stopped me from giving this 5 stars would be that on the weekend the breakfast room was overcrowded - it should be larger. But as I said, we never ran out of any food item. For a while we avoided Best Westerns because they tended to be run down and not well staffed. In recent years we have noticed a total turnaround in the Best Western chain. In the last couple of years we have not been disappointed anytime we've stayed in a Best Western. Best Western is now on our list of preferred motels. Also, if you smoke, they have an area outside with seating where people can smoke.

If you don't need the frills of a waterpark but want to stay in the WI Dells area then stay here. Newly remodeled rooms (although the bright teal blue paint on the walls is an interesting decorating choice I didn't hate it) and good location a few miles from outlet mall, casino, winery and state park. You will definitely save $ by staying a few miles down the road in Baraboo at this hotel.

I stayed for 4 nights over the Memorial Day weekend and I am fairly certain the hotel was full. I never heard any loud or annoying sounds that interfered with my sleep. Staff very friendly and accommodating. My room was very clean. Definitely will be staying here on my next visit to Baraboo.

It was an OK stay. Not a great stay. Very overpriced for what I received. Staff did try to make it right in the end with a discount on my next stay. Even condisering that, I felt that it was a $75 room, not a $150 room.

I've stayed here multiplw times for business purposes. Service is always great, all staff is attentive and pleasant. Breakfast good, several options. Most comfortable beds I've slept on at a hotel. No issues with the internet.

Baraboo is not very large. We chose the Best Western-baraboo to stay in overnight. It was clean, nicely decorated and had a comfortable bed. Their breakfast was pretty typical buffet styled food. It did taste good though. If in the area, I will stay there again.

We held our annual meeting at the Best Western Baraboo Inn and were amazed at how helpful the staff were in not only accommodating our conference, but going out of their way to make it better - for instance, by providing a speaker phone so one of our board members could join us remotely, and making sure we had plenty of coffee to get through our proceedings.

Request top floor room as we were on the main floor and you could hear the people above us walking around. Really noisy!! Were woken up at midnight and early in the morning. Other than that the hotel was great.

Was in the area for a girls volleyball tournament and the whole team stayed here. The girls had a great time in the pool area. The rest of us had a great time in the bar lounge area since it was St Patricks Day. Only issue was subjs in a room down the hall were obviously smoking pot in their room because the whole hallway reeked of it. Not really something the hotel has control over though. Heard the breakfast area was good but didn't get to enjoy it because our driver was in such a rush to get to the first game of the day.

On monday Daniel at the front desk welcomed me in. He was super helpful and polite and told me about when breakfast was. When I got to my room it was amazing and when I looked in the bathroom it was so clean!!! I have been to so many hotels and by far this was one of the cleanest bathrooms in a hotel I have ever used. I also on wednesday night wanted a drink but the bar was closed. Daniel was working again and told me there was a festival down the street. If you stay here I know for certain any questions Daniel will have answers. He is a great face for the hotel and I would for sure stay again!! 10/10 would reccomend a room here!

We were assigned a room on the 2nd floor in the annex which is not elevator accessable. A little inconvenient for folks in their 70's, but still a nice, clean room. We've stayed there several times over the years and have only had one bad experience with a soiled toilet and were moved to another room. It's the nicest hotel in Baraboo. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Front desk staff are super nice and polite. ?? biscuits and gravy.

We are a family of 4, with two little kids. We stayed here one night before meeting up with family in the Dells. There was a hockey team and a wedding staying at this hotel while we were there but the noise levels were fine. The room was clean. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great, but the water was hot. The pool and hot tub were great for the kids after the long drive. The breakfast room was busy the next morning, and a little chaotic but the food was hot and delicious. I would stay here again.

Stayed here while in town for business. Room was nice and clean, hotel lobby, elevator, and hallways were clean and in good repair. Desk clerk was friendly and eager to offer advice on local places to eat. The breakfast was exceptionally good as well, the scrambled eggs tasted like eggs and had the texture of eggs, not fluffed up and watery like many other hotels. The sausage patties were fully cooked to a crispy brown, not slightly cooked and swimming in grease as is often the case at other hotels. I stayed the first two nights at the Holiday Inn up the road in Wisconsin Dells, wished I had spent the entire time here. I'll know where to stay if I come to service our customer here again!

This Best Western is a bit of an older hotel, but its clean and in good shape. It looks as if it may have been remodeled at some point in the not so distant past. Rooms are on the smaller side though I'd day it was the standard for back whenever this hotel was built. Overall, not a very exciting or contemporary option (I don't think those exist in Baraboo), but with clean, comfortable hotel rooms at less than $100 a night, it's a great value. All of the employees I encountered were pleasant to deal with and proactively helpful. Breakfast had the standard hotel breakfast offerings: cereal, waffle iron, yogurt, pasties, but it was on the better side for a hotel in this price range.

Baraboo is a great community to explore! Wisconsin Dells and Devil's Lake is very near, 10 miles away. The West Baraboo Best Western is a perfect family hotel with all ammenities needed for a fun weekend get-a-way !

We really enjoyed the suite, it was clean and comfortable and with a nice Jacuzzi for 2 people. The temperature was difficult to control. Breakfast was pretty good, I liked the coffee very much. All in all I would recommend this place ...good value

When we go skiing to Wisconsin, we always stay at Best Western in Baraboo. Friendly atmosphere, helpful and attentive personnel, clean & quiet room, good breakfast with a lot of choices. Good value. We find ourselves at home.

Front desk employees were enthusiastically full of answers about things to do around town and in the dells with a smile on their face. Pool was heated and the hot tub was well taken care of. The attached restaurant had good food. The bar tender doubled as live music with his significant other. They did an excellent job. They karaoke on Saturdays. The town is beautiful. Old yet taken care of structures. All a good time!

I have stayed in over 20 locations in the same area as the Best Western in Baraboo, WI. I have NEVER found a hotel that is better. EVER!!!. The staff is incredible. The rooms are ALWAYS clean. The service is great. I really enjoy their complimentary breakfast. It has a very large selection for a complimentary breakfast. It is always clean and the actually open earlier in the mornings during the week for people who have to leave early. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are always clean. The indoor pool and hot tub are great. Housekeeping does a top-notch job. The have a place to eat onsite, Bonzo's. The food and drinks are great. Bottom line, if you are staying anywhere near Portage, Lodi, Baraboo, Reedsburg or Wisconsin Dells; YOU SHOULD SERIOUSLY GIVE THE BEST WESTERN IN BARABOO A CHANCE TO EARN YOUR BUSINESS!!!!

Big fluffy towels, hot water, giant shower head. Lots of choices for breakfast, hot oatmeal with toppings, plus eggs and sausage one day and bacon the next. Things were replenished quickly when they ran out. (We were a large group) Customer service arrived quickly and smiling to take care of a toilet issue. Took care of it immediately and was very pleasant and friendly. Everything was clean. Would definitely recommend this place!

Stayed for one night while traveling through to Rochester. Thinking we may need to come back and do some of the tourist items around town and would stay again at hotel. One of the best value hotels I've been to in a long time. Gone are the good ole days but this reminds you a little of them.

This Best Western was a nice property. It was clean, on a main road, had a bar slash restaurant attached to it, plenty of parking. My king room was very nice. Bed very comfortable. I experienced no problems and that's how I like it when I business travel. If you're coming through town, I'd recommend staying here.

We stayed here for the 1st time to visit the Wisconsin Dells and attend a concert. Our room was very clean and well appointed, breakfast was hot and had a good selection. I would recommend this hotel based on value and closeness to the Dells

We have visited in this area several times and in the winter we come for the Christmas festival so to speak. Holiday craft show and the town is very Christmasy. The hotel was quite comfortable and the value was great. The front desk person was very helpful. I would stay here again.

Tom was such a polite helpful professional when we checked in, he helped with all our questions and needs. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We definitely enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I would highly recommend staying here and I for sure will be staying again. It is very close to everything in the Dells.

Price and amenities all good. The place was quiet and centrally located in the town. It had a bar/restaurant connected to the place so I could get a bite to eat without going out in the cold. The breakfast was fine

We stay here every year for opening weekend hunting. We are a group of 4 to 5 people. The staff is always friendly and the service is always good. Rooms are clean and comfortable. This year we used the pool and hot tub for the first time and it was clean and enjoyable.

Decent stay while passing through. Highway noise was very loud while trying to get to sleep. Room was average, nothing special but fine for a one night stay. There was decent variety at breakfast. The hotel restaurant was a loud bar, so we walked down the street to another restaurant.

I am a traveling nurse and greatly appreciate the consideration given to me, both financially and for accommodation. I work overnights and so sleep during the day. They don't have a problem for me to check in when my shift is done about 8a or check out on my way to work at 6:30p. I was given a room on the 3rd floor and at the back of the hotel to help keep it as quiet for my daytime sleeping as possible. The room/bed were clean and comfortable. I have already made future reservations for more days when I need to sleep before going back to work.

We like consistency. This property always has rooms that are clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and makes an effort to be helpful. The rates are reasonable. Breakfasts are very good. Over the years we have stayed at this motel more than a dozen times.

Just stayed one night, but it was just what we needed and the rate was very reasonable. It was easy to find and get into and out of. It was very quiet sleeping! The man who checked us in was great. Recommend it.

We had a nice evening and breakfast was good too. The room was set close to the entrance as requested , due to mobility issues. It was a little crowded at breakfast , but that is to be expected on a weekend with several activity groups staying there. We ended up eating in the room, but that is fine with us. We will stay here again if we are in the area.

Probably the best Best Western I've stayed in. Friendly staff, Personable and Knowledgeable. Hotel is very clean and well upkept. Nice pool with jacuzzi. Restaurant with bar. Free breakfast was very popular. A lot of guests enjoyed the big spread of breakfast goodies.

I stayed at the Best Western in Baraboo. The hotel revenovation has been completed. It is very nice, color schemes pleasing. The staff is very pleasant and go out of their way to please the guests. I highly recommend this hotel, it is close to the Dells, Casino, and shopping in Lake Delton.

Front Desk Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant/Bar Manager was also very friendly and provided great service. The rooms and overall facilities were very clean and welcoming. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Will stay here next time I plan a trip to the area.

Overall experience staying at this hotel was satisfactory. Only complaint would be is the bathroom is a little snug and mattress seemed a little wore down. Other than that, the location was good and served our needs, food breakfast, quiet, good breakfast, and kids liked the pool.

We were in Baraboo for a wedding. The staff was very professional and helpful. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to enjoy the hotel as much as we would have liked to. The pool was refreshing and the hot tub was hot (very important) and the jets were just what we needed after our drive.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. My brother and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was great before we headed out to do more driving towards Chippewa Falls. The only concern that I made the staff aware of was that the new Interstate 12 no longer goes through Baraboo and we ended up passing right through and ended up at the Dells. I had to turn around and ended up going to a gas station to get directions to the hotel. When I was coming back from Chippewa and went back on route 12 the signs was up to turn off to the hotel. The staff made me aware that they did mention this concern to the right people that needed to know. Thank you so much.

this was my one and only vacation this year due to surgery, so I was very disappointed things didn't go as planned.I booked this hotel because of the hot tub ,which wasn't working, and the on site full service bar and restaurant.When we checked in no one told us about the limited menu due to a fire months ago.

We stayed here on our way up North. We where upgraded for free to a Whirlpool suite, which is good it was free because it was tiny and heart shaped. We tried to use it but it shot water everywhere and was awkward. But the hotel and room where clean.

My room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was good, Breakfast served a variety of hot and cold items. The kitchenette setup in my room was handy to have. Also only a 10 minute drive to Devil's Lake State Park. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for one night as a spur of the moment trip to Devils Lake. Hotel is clean and appeared to be recently remodeled. Breakfast had a nice variety and the breakfast room was also nicely sized. The pool was heated and while the water was clean, the pool tiles were in need of cleaning. For the price, I expected a better variety of provided toiletries. All we got was a bottle of shampoo, 2 bars of soap, and 1 makeup remover towellete. I like to travel light so some conditioner would have been nice. All in all, I think this is the nicest hotel in town.

We stayed here the first night of our Wisconsin vacation. Staff was wonderful! Room was very clean, comfortable, and pleasant. Breakfast was something to look forward to: scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, pastry, bagels, etc and great coffee! Enjoyed our night and slept well! Very affordable for a holiday weekend. Would not hesitate to stay here another time. Traveled to the Dells the next day. Only about a 1/2 hour or so away.

Hotel is located a few miles from devils lake, and about 20 mins from the dells. Nice place, service great, not much of a night life area. If you wanna get away from big city life a few days , this is the place. Will be staying here for the next hiking trip

Newly remodeled - nice staff - great value. I'll be back with my children to see the Autumn colors in Wisconsin. We came up to hike and bike in the area. I called ahead to book the room as I had some questions about the hotel and the area. The manager answered them all and better yet - his answers proved to accurate as I found out upon my arrival

Second time we have stayed at this hotel. Liked it last year and no question that we would return for this trip to Baraboo. Staff is consistently pleasant, always greeting and asking if everything is okay. exterior has a fresh look as do the rooms . great alternative to going to the busier Dells

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Clean, updated rooms and quiet, restful night. The manager on duty, Mr. Wills was very helpful and efficient getting us checked in and making sure we had everything we needed. I was using the whirlpool later in the evening as my husband and I had been biking all day, and it was clean and low-key as well as the pool. Would definitely stay there again. Also, this is the first hotel I have stayed at that had a "clean remote" slip cover for the TV remote. Loved that!

I have always been treat very well by all the staff - from owner to housekeepers. Room are very nice - Remodeling was done a few months ago and it is very nice, every thing is always clean. Always say here when visiting famliy

This is the second time we've stayed this hotel. It's a good value for the hotel type. It's not fancy, yet it's a comfortable and clean hotel in a good location. The front desk staff (Tyler) was very accommodating, patient and friendly. The room was clean, yet the bathroom floor and door frame need some attention due to some mold build up. We will likely stay here again on our next motorcycle trip.

My family throughly enjoyed our three night stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet. It had all you could need- great WiFi, refrigerator, lots of outlets, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, microwave, and plenty of towels. Our family enjoyed the great, clean pool and hot tub multiple times. Nice they have on site laundry facilities so you don't have to wear wet swimsuits and have them hanging in the bathroom throughout your stay. Breakfast was fantastic for a hotel- eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, Belgium waffle maker, real hot oatmeal with toppings in addition to the standard items normally served at a continental breakfast and served in a very clean spacious area. This hotel is very close to state parks, the WI Dells, lots of quaint towns for fun shopping, and great restaurants. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again when in the area.

We stayed at the Baraboo Best Western for one night for a wedding. The staff let us check in an hour early as we had a long drive and needed to quickly change to be on time for the wedding. Thank you! The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel was in a convenient location to the event we were attending. Directions were confusing due to recent road construction. The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast offered was good and the area clean.

Not only was the room clean and well equipped, but the staff did everything to help us enjoy our stay. The breakfast was great too. The only thing I would change was maybe a bathroom in the pool area. We had little children that needed a bathroom.

Stayed one night and found the staff very friendly and the breakfast very good. the hotel still needs ome upgrading as the front doors had no automatic opening which mad it hard to manage getting your luggage in without problems overall it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a great area to explore. But price was high for the hotel, One two story area did not have an elevator but the night manager carried up the luggage and did give a 20% discount for that issue. It was clean but dated & I see there is an effort to update going on.

All the front counter staff especially Tom,Daniel and Mr.Patel were very welcoming and nice people I have ever talked to.The hospitality,room service,cleanliness and the morning breakfast was all awesome and way beyond my expectation.For us who live in Canada it was like a home away from home.I would highly recommend it to my friends,family members and all those who I know.

This is our pick of hotels when in the Dells area. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is great. The location couldn't be better. It is out of the main stream of all the Dells traffic. We will return.

My Daughter, Grandson, friends and I stayed at the best western in baraboo for several days. The Parking lot and lobby was clean and inviting looking. The rooms were also clean and had plenty of towels. The beds and pillows were comfortable but they need to inspect the blankets because I found a used bandaid attached to my blanket. Other hotels the pool / hot tub area aren't very clean looking but they were and weren't real crowded. I did notice the pool area doors that led to the outside patio had a lot of black looking stuff on the bottom of them. The breakfast was good but could add some better cereal for kids. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. It is pretty much a straight road to the dells and closer than we expected. I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again if in the area.

We came to see the beautiful bature in the area. The hotel is very clean, comfirtable. The room is spacious, has all commodities. The house keeping i very good. Breakfast is hot, very good, fresh and clean. Very good value.

Clean, comfortable and a very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good - all the standard fare. We enjoyed our Executive King room. No worries here. Close to Devil's Lake State Park and pretty recreation areas.

This is a nice chain hotel in Baraboo, WI. Honestly, if you have the money and there's space available, I would recommend one of the Ringling B&Bs above this hotel, but if you want less expensive, and more of a chain for your stay, this is a very nice one. The beds are comfy - not too soft and not too hard, with a nice pillow top covering. The bathroom is good - there are newer shower heads that are higher than many/most chain hotels, so my hubby was able to stand up straight while washing his hair!!! Breakfast is good - not gourmet or anything, but a good selection of hot and cold items, and breakfast is served for a decent length of time, so you can sleep in a bit without missing the food. I definitely recommend this BW!

I brought my two toddler granddaughters to Circus World Museum arriving Thursday and checking out Saturday. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions on activities and where to eat. The room was clean and comfortable with refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. Breakfast was amazing with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and a waffle maker. The restaurant was closed for construction. The pool was clean. Our first night was relatively peaceful although PIne St. is pretty loud with lots of traffic. Friday night a group of young people had a booze party in the rooms next door and across the hall that went on way past midnight. Check out Saturday morning was a shock to find Room Charge Revenue fees of $119.99 and $170.99 added to the room charges of $334.48 plus hotel, sales and county taxes! I booked online at TripAdvisor and saw nothing about Room Charge Revenue fees on the webpage.

Great hotel right off the highway, close to the state park to go hiking. Super friendly staffThe little gym had good equipment , didn't use the pool but it looked clean. Ask for room 238; it's very quiet. The bar restaurant is closed for renos but just up the street is a great place called The Chomp.

I gave this four stars instead of five because my disabled mother asked for a handicapped room and they didn't give her one. But when I asked at the front desk they said it was. She was not able to take a shower. But other than that....the room was really nice. The pool was great. The breakfast was the best thing. I would definitely stay there again.

This location is close to the Wisconsin Dells area. We had a quiet stay but were able to go to the Fourth of July fireworks at the Dells. The room size & bed were very comfortable. The staff & breakfast were excellent.

Best Western is not only very clean, well maintained with very nice rooms, the staff is incredible. From Tom the GM to all other employees, you will not find a more professional friendly staff ANYWHERE!

This BW continues to be our choice when visiting either the Dells or Baraboo. It is a short ride from the Dells and the casino, but close to the attractions in Baraboo. Since the rooms were recently renovated it seemed as if we were the first people to stay in the room. Our room faced the back of the property, which was especially quiet.

My wife & I decided to celebrate her birthday with a trip to the Wisconsin Dells as well as a visit to the nearby Ho-Chunk Casino. We decided to find a nearby hotel that would provide easy access to both and chose this property near both attractions. I am a Best Western Rewards member and was able to take care of the reasonable room charge with points saving our dollars for the other nearby attractions. I placed our advance reservations through Best Western's toll-free reservation service. However, upon check-in our reservation was not found although I had email confirmation on my phone. The front desk representative, Tyler, assured me that they could accomodate us and proceeded to offer us an upgrade to our original room assignment due to my status with Best Western. We were extremely grateful for his empathy and professionalism which only confirmed my confidence in Best Western in general and The Baraboo Inn specifically. Tyler also added that there was free shuttle service to and from the Casino and mentioned some other attractions in nearby downtown Baraboo. Our stay was very rewarding and my wife and I decided that we would reward their outstanding hospitality with our continued brand loyalty and another stay in the near future at The Best Western Baraboo Inn.

We made plans to camp at Devil's Lake two weeks ago and the forecast was rain so we made last second plans here for a Thursday and Friday night. Got a very good rate. It's everything we needed. Clean room. Friendly staff. The desk staff does offer a lot of advice for attractions and maybe not everyone would appreciate that but they are not selling anything. If anything, they just want everyone to have a great time and see all they can. The pool area was clean and good for the kids. The free breakfast was all your could hope for. A large selection of things from bagels, pastries, toasts, eggs, ham one day/ sausage the next, waffle machine, cereals, juice and milk machine, coffee, yogurts, etc. mini fridge for our food we brought for camping. Thursday was a great day and Friday night it down poured right after we got out of the Rick Wilcox Theater (a must see). We're glad we had the room and we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

My friend and I met there so that we could spend the day hiking at Devil's Lake State Park. The staff were courteous, efficient and helpful! The rooms were basic; a little outdated but clean and comfortable. There was a decent variety at breakfast (but the oatmeal wasn't cooked well). The location was great. We went to a great Mexican restaurant in town. I left my cosemetic bag in the room and the room service staff turned it in to the front desk (glad that they are honest!). I'd recommend this BW if you want a comfortable stay for a decent price.

Staff are very friendly. Hotel is located in a nice area and close to the activities we were there for. The hotel is clean for the most part. Pool is adequate for kids. Would stay again if need to. Price is a bit much per night.

Here for one night on business. Room was clean and the bed was nice with plenty of pillows. That is always the main criteria for me. Room was also very quiet as I was on the second floor on the back side of the hotel. That was great for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was just okay.

Pleasant small town with SO many natural area amenities plus the nearby Wisconsin Dells. Too much to see, so little time. The Best Western was convenient to everything, including the University of Wisconsin-Baraboo and conference, as well as the Aldo Leopold Center, a conservationist's mecca! The downtown cafe and retail were perfect. Don't miss the bookstore on the square. Small town Wisconsin at its best!

This hotel isn't bad. It appears to have gone through/going through a refresh which is nice to see. I was staying in town with my boss and neither of our rooms were bad. They functioned well for an over night stay but it's not a place I would stay on vacation.

Excellent Staff and easy access off highway 12. Our room was large, well equipped, clean with a very comfortable bed. WIFI worked well. Plenty of outlets for our electronic gadgets. Breakfast items included a variety of selections and seating was adequate. The hotel staff were very helpful with recommendations on things to do in the area. We will stay here next time in the area.

Clean, safe, excellent and caring staff. Breakfast food is adequate, coffee was very good but they could use some whole grain options in the bagel and muffins, the dining room is clean and well organized. We were most impressed with the staff and their willingness to make sure our needs were met. The rooms were very quiet and clean. Maybe new carpet is needed..but that is the only thing I would change...everything else great for the price.

This is a great hotel- front desk are AWESOME and knowledgeable about area, people serving breakfast always friendly and it's good!! Great to stay for Circus world, Devils lake ( which is why I stay) and even the Dells!!

Kudos to the friendly and helpful staff. They gave us some great recommendations for additional activities. The hotel is in a great location to reach the Dells easily, but also to get to experiences in Baraboo and Devils Lake area. Because of its location we avoided the congestion of Wisconsin Dells.

This hotel has such friendly staff. We've stayed there often for work and they address us by name. They always make us feel like we're at home. Rooms are decorated nice and the pool/patio area are nice for relaxing.

There a lot of hotels in the Baraboo area. The Best Western is worth the experience if you decide to stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, Indoor heated Pool and Hot Tub and the rooms are very veryt clean! Breakfast is also better then most hotels that I have stayed at.

Daniel always takes care of us,,clean rooms, great breakfast.. we always stay there when we go to the dells, versus the high prices in the dells..its a nice quite area, plenty of things to do , Circus world is down the road, The wis Big cat rescue in Rock springs is amazing, the tigers, panthers, lions , etc,etc are well kept and so awesome to look at, is just 10 mins from the hotel down 136 (west) Jeff and Jenny the owners were very nice and explained a lot what they do,,we paln to donate to the rescue to help keep the animals well kept,

The Staff at the front desk helped us plan things to do. They asked what we enjoyed doing so they could match ideas to our interests. Great customer service. Room was very clean and nice size. Will return again, that's for sure.

We stayed here one night to attend a wedding. Room was a good size for our family of 4. Also very clean and nice decor. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Staff very friendly and helpful. We used the indoor pool and hot tub. Both very clean! And hot tub was hot, which was good. The breakfast was good with a big selection. (Waffles, eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereals, etc.). We would definitely stay here again.

fire alarm was nearly inaudible, fire forced out to parking lot at 3 am, smoke in room and halls when we were given the all clear, smoke caused an asthma attack and we were forced to leave at 445 am, waited in hotel parking lot until the fire equipment was removed, waiting to hear what will be done about a refund

I travel for work constantly so a need for good priced, along with quality service hotels is a must. At the BEST WESTERN Baraboo Inn my co-workers and I were treated very well. The rooms are amazing! Also the restaurant has an awesome menu with great tasting food. Five star hotel for sure!

Our Rugby Team stayed at this hotel over the weekend for a tournament in WI Dells. I spoke with the management a few weeks before our arrival and they were so flexible with our needs. When we arrived all the hotel room keys were already assigned to us and check in was smoother than any hotel I've ever stayed at. While at the hotel the staff catered to our every need. Also the staff at the attached restaurant bent over backwards to help us with every request. We will definitely be coming back here year after year!!

This was one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. The rooms were clean updated recently and the staff was caring and wonderful. The breakfast was awesome wit a variety of items. I look forward to staying at this hotel again

Only stayed one night, and aside from noise issues - slamming of doors from other guests, early morning showers, we had no other issues. Breakfast was more than anticipated - offered hot food in addition to traditional cold so that was pleasant surprise. Staff friendly

Stayed here overnight during a weekend hiking trip with my sons. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with other local trails and sights to see in addition to the main trail we planned to hike. Clean rooms, good breakfast, and a good value.

Very nice accommodations. Staff was friendly and helpful, beds were comfortable, motel was quiet. Nice motif. Breakfast was complete, was tasty and food was hot. Parking was adequate and handicap parking was close to doors.

I don't stay here often but when I do its always very nice, Great Staff with outgoing service! They were slow when I stayed so they even upgraded me to a Jacuzzi suite which was so nice! They have a restaurant which I don't think is part of the hotel, so I would recommend going across the street for dinner or drinks. MUCH nicer over there. Bed was comfortable and they are making upgrades to the hotel, I would recommend this Hotel ! Thanks for a great stay!

I hesitated before I decided to write a review about this BW. It has been our favorite place to stay while in the Baraboo area since it's major remodeling job a few years back. But this time, we were not so happy. First off, I have to say that the front desk staff here are some of the nicest, friendliest and courteous people I have ever had the experience of dealing with. Our problems were based on some room issues. First, the sheer curtain behind the drapes had a large, quite noticeable hole in it. Second, when we pulled back the bedspread, we noticed that our sheets were very wrinkled like someone had slept in them for a few days, and were never changed for the next guest. The pillows cases were wrinkled and also had not been changed. They were not fresh-smelling like clean sheets would be and we could see no lines from them being folded. Also, the pillows were too small for a king sized bed. Breakfast was from 6 until 10am. We got there about 9:30 and started our breakfast, but at exactly 10am, but attendant started putting the breakfast items away. My husband and I were the only people still in the breakfast area. We were not completely finished and still wanted to get another item, but without notifying us just started to put the food away. He could have asked if we wanted anything else instead of just removing them. I really thought that was quite rude to not have at least warned us. Other than those issues, everything else was on a positive note. We still intend on returning to the BW on our future stays. It is still a great value and top on our list, but next time we will check the bed when first arriving.

Went to Ho Chunk casino but did not want to stay at their hotel. Stayed here instead. Very nice hotel in a good location .Both clerks we dealt with were very nice, friendly, and informative. The breakfast had a variety of food options to choose from and the room was spacious. Even though we didn't use either, the fridge and microwave were nice to have in the room. Will stay here again.

The Manager and Staff did everything they could to make sure I had comfortable chair to sit and relax in after a hard day at work It was great knowing that they cared about my comfort and done all they could do to please me

Very reasonably priced hotel. We had Executive King on the third floor. Very roomy and offered many amenities. You do not want for anything.The only con is the busy street in front of hotel, so would recommend asking for room across from road side. Just a short drive into Wisconsin Dells. Casino and Circus World Museum in Baraboo.

Was not aware they were renovating until I received a call the day of arrival telling us how to enter the hotel. Most of the work is exterior. Hotel was adequate. Microwave, refrigerator was a nice addition. Breakfast was quite good. Sausage, biscuits, gravy, eggs, etc. Hope the renovation continues inside. Could use a little extra love. Nothing really wrong, just needs some updates.

Not sure why some reviews are so high. This seems to be an high-end BW hotel for some travelers which is probably equal to a mid-range hotel within other chains. Personally the best part of the property is the rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast choices were fine. Also the clerk, Todd, I think, was very helpful when checking in and when we needed to change rooms. The downside is the pool, on a Sunday evening was quite filthy - you could see hairs and such floating all across the top; this kept us out of it. We even heard another family walk in and make same comment although they did let their kids jump into it. The walls are thin so you hear every noise; we had to change to the 3rd floor because in our first room the people on the 2nd floor allowed their kids to run and jump constantly for more than 30 minutes. Once we changed rooms, we did get comfortable rest. The one pet peeve is guests coming to the breakfast area with bare feet; this isn't allowed in restaurants and a sign should be posted so it isn't allowed at hotels either. Disgusting to those of us who get fully dressed (out of pajamas) and put footwear on. Not only is it unsanitary but also unappetizing to see "farmer Brown in his overalls and bare feet."

This Hotel should be classified a " BW PLUS" since I have stayed at other Best Western Plus Hotels that didn't come close to service and hospitality that you experience during a Hotel stay. Morning breakfast was very very good and had a wide selection of items for you to enjoy.

We tried getting a campground in the Baraboo area this past weekend and every campground within 100 miles was completely filled up, so we tried area hotels and this one was the only hotel that had two nights available in a row. Best Western Baraboo is very close to Wisconsin Dells and I'm sure it gets tons of occupants in the summer, but it's also a good to stay if you're in the area for outdoor adventure because it is very close to Devils Lake State Park and several other state parks and natural areas such as Parfrey's Glen, Pewit's Nest and Natural Bridge. This hotel has clean rooms, really comfy beds, and a nice breakfast area to get you started. There's an on site restaurant (Bonzo's) but we didn't visit it. The only problem we experienced was a very noisy group of post-wedding partiers' kids running up and down the hallway at 10:30 pm, but that's not the hotel's fault.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and were very happy and satisfied with the hotel. We stayed in one of the whirlpool rooms. The hotel is probably an older unit but the rooms were in great condition, everything worked and the cleanliness was outstanding. The breakfast every morning was excellent. The hotel location was handy as it was right off he interstate and so was easy to find. We would stay again and also would highly recommend it to others.

Easy to find. Great staff. Room was large and clean with a fridge and microwave. Many food options near by. Also Walgreens close by for any little things you need. I stayed 4 nights and the cleaning staff was excellent! They caught all the little things like replacing coffee and cups and tissues. You'd be surprised at how many times those things get ignored!! Thank you for taking such good care of me!

Good location if you are staying in the Baraboo area. No surprises, a typical Best Western. Attached bar/restaurant but many other places to eat close by. Parking is a little tight but no other complaints.

It was a decent place to stay. it had attached restaurant, pool, whirlpool, free breakfast and many more things. I was there for work and I enjoyed my stay while I was there. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will be back if I am in area again.

Staff is kind, helpful and pleasant. They are in process of remodeling - looking great. Daniel is the best. I have stay here many time a year over the past several years. HI have stayed at other hotels in Baraboo, none compare to the Best Western.

Rooms were comfortable and staff was friendly. Good food in the bar/lounge where you can watch sports,etc. on several TV's. Most of the equipment in the fitness center was antiquated and did not work properly.

Great hotel. Very clean but a little noisy. We could hear people up and down the halls and doors slamming and water running. Great free breakfast with room to prepare your food and plenty of seating. Close to casino and not far from the Dels. A great little town to venture out and see what they have to offer.

We have stayed here in the past while going on the Mid-Continent Railway dinner train. Daniel at the front desk was the best in service and conversation. The weekend rates do go up, as do all the other area hotels.

In town for my sons wedding at Bariboo Arts. Very good location for going back and forth. Had a great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Kids had a great time in the pool. Good value for the area. Staff joined in with the crazy family festivities which made the stay more personal.

Clean, comfortable, good price. Big choices for breakfast with good coffee. Rooms were nice and bed comfortable. Quiet. Good location for what we needed. Staff at check in very accommodating and helpful. We have stayed at this location a few times now and will come back again.

We stayed here in a wedding block. The price was excellent for a clean comfortable room. Breakfast room was comfortable and the breakfast was fine. The desk employees went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming.

When I got married I reserved four rooms at Best Western for some of my guests. When my guests arrived at the hotel they said that they were there for the reserved rooms yet they were checked into different rooms. Then Best Western charged me $143 per room totaling $572 for the four rooms since no one used the rooms I reserved. Even though I did nothing wrong I could only get them to knock the charges down to $50 per room. I am out $200 and instead of enjoying the day after my wedding unpacking my wedding gifts and relaxing with my new husband I spent all afternoon on the phone trying to straighten this out. I will never stay at Best Western again and I will let everyone I know not to stay there.

Room was very expensive for what you received. Staff well trained and good. Breakfast same as other chain hotels. size smaller than I expected. breakfast room small but when crowed they open another area. Appears that several items at breakfast were not refilled.

This was a close destination. The room was great. I loved the fitness area, the treadmill was nice. Breakfast was very good as it had a large selection and some nice hot options. It would have been nice to have more of the party closer together as we were spread out through out the hotel. Nice and clean.

Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast that they continued to refill even though it was very busy. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tube- nothing fancy, but clean and enough space to play. My only minor complaint was that the price of room was high due to a couple of events in town.

Very nice clean hotel. Good location right on highway 12. Bed was quite comfortable. Pool looked nice. Lots of kids in it. Fairly standard included breakfast. The only downside was that it was quite noisy. First the drunks at 2am then the kids at 8 in the morning. We could hear them like they were there in our room. Would stay again when in the area.

PROS: Tyler at the front desk went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. As there was no elevator in the section we requested, he even offered to assist us with our luggage. He is an asset to this property! The room was spacious and appointed well, and had lots of outlets. It had everything we needed. The windows opened to the outside fresh air! Breakfast was good with lots of choices. There are 2 men there that work their tails off making sure everything in the Hotel is ship shape. (I am sorry I didn't get their names) CONS: Stephanie at the front desk needs a refresher course on how to treat the Hotels guests.

We had connecting rooms with our 3 adult kids. It was great, we were able to have the doors open to share drinks and snacks. The breakfast was filled as everyone ate so I never saw anything run out. The pool was out of towels but when we mentioned it, they were filled immediately. The hotel was pretty full but we never heard a peep from the hallway or any other room, so the insulation between rooms was great. It was a great location between the 2 areas we were there to visit, The House on the Rock and The Dells. We forgot an item but we were walking distance to Walgreens so we walked less than a block to the store. It was a great trip, we had a great time and we would gladly stay again in the future if we are in the area. The front desk staff was great in offering ideas for things to do around town. Oh and free cookies at the front desk are always nice!

We have stayed at this hotel many times, and have always been satisfied with the quality and staff. We will be staying again in the near future. The restaurant attached to this hotel has great food and friendly staff. I would highly recommend it.

Looking for a great place to stay - look no further then the Best Western Hotel in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Indoor Swimming Pool, Hot Tub, Fitness Room and great morning complimentary breakfast. Hotel Staff very friendly and helpful.

The first room I was given reeked of smoke. I was quickly transferred to another room and had a pleasant visit. I was the third floor and took advantage of that fact and a pleasant view across a field to open my window and enjoy fresh air. The only complaint is that double doors at the entrance made bringing in luggage awkward. I mentioned this to a manager as he was opening the door for me as I left and he said they were "working on it." He and other staff were pleasant and accommodating. The motel had what appeared to be new carpet in the halls and my room. The motel has the usual amenities. Everything worked. Breakfast was not as extensive as some places, but there were scrambled eggs, what looked like Canadian bacon and sausage gravy. It more than sufficed. A "Bonzo's" restaurant was attached. I almost backed out when I entered because it had the appearance of a run-down bar, with three guys sitting at the bar discussing politics and baseball, the latter of which was on the blaring TV. I was the only other person there, and it was as cold as a meat locker. But I was hungry and didn't want to drive anywhere. When my Caesar salad with Grilled chicken came, it was not bad. I could have ordered room service and probably should have, but I'm not complaining. . I would stay here again.

After speaking to the manager of the Baraboo Inn and telling of the reason I had to cancel, he was more than cordial and gave us a full refund. For that reason, If I ever get to Baraboo, I will stay at the Baraboo Inn. I did learn that it is best to make reservations directly with the hotel. Thank you Baraboo Inn and disregard my earlier comment.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Daniel checked us in and provided us with a map and detailed directions to hiking trails when he found out we were there to hike. Hotel grounds and rooms were well maintained. Beds were comfortable. Room was spacious. Having an attached restaurant was a nice feature. Location was convenient to things we wanted to do. We definitely stay here again.

we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. the locations was great, 10 mins away from great attractions. at the front desk Daniel is awesome. very helpful upon check in and gave us lots of ideas and places to go along with coupons! the rooms were nice a spacious, the bed on the first night was too firm and the pillows were kinda flat but that didn't bother me, breakfast was good had biscuits and gravy and lots of choices to choose from. the pool was great and I loved that they had a bar attached to the hotel. all in all it was a great stay, would definitely come back and stay here again.

Staff is just wonderful!! Breakfast was absolutely to delicious!! Just loved this place!!! Staff went out of their way to help us find something to do and even called us a shuttle. It was clean, comfy, and fun!!

First, I am a Best Western Rewards card holder. So, I tend to choose B. W. hotels in the destination areas I travel to, when possible. The ease in using, utilizing and zero bill OR tax on this opportunity make it a NO-BRAINER when considering our travel plans! Upon arrival, Thurs., Aug. 25, we were greeted, got a fantastic reception and were absolutely at home immediately! The desk staff were congenial, couldn't have been more knowledgeable or helpful than they were. A MUST stay when in the Dells area... MUCH cheaper and rewarding and QUIETER than the Dells could DREAM of offering!

for your peace of mind check for bugs. breakfast was mediocre people smoking outside at the entrance polluted the air and made your clothes stink . The beds are are terrible.towels are cheap. one very small shampoo and a tiny bar of soap

We had a very busy day and stopped later that we expected to so were thinking that we might not be able to find a vacancy. Samantha found us a lovely room right away and made sure we were settled for the night. Room was clean and beds we comfortable . Breakfast the next morning was very nice; neat, clean presentation and good variety of selections. "Machine waffles" are my favorite motel breakfast. Good job, Baraboo BW!

A fellow circus fan and I spent a night at the Baraboo Inn on August 10th and we were happy with our rooms. They were clean - great bed & shower. Breakfast was very ample and the staff was cordial. Our rooms were apparently redone recently as they were updated from the last time I was just here. The location was great,too.

The rooms are convenient and well equipped, but a tad small. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodate requests. The breakfast area doesn't look great, but the food is pretty good. Some rooms have a nice view, and some overlook a local road. The location is pretty good, not too far from Devil's Lake and from the Dells. The restaurant attached to the hotel is pretty bad, but there are many other choices very close by.

I recently stayed at the best western in Baraboo for business. They staff made my stay a comfortable one. Very friendly, obliging and courteous. The free complementary breakfast was delicious and the area was always kept clean. Free WI-fi in the hotel was greatly appreciated. The restaurant and lounge staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. The room cleaners were very efficient and courteous. The property was in great condition and the outside grounds kept very clean. The front desk manager Daniel was exceptionally helpful and would always recommend something to do in the area for entertainment. I had a great stay and would defiantly recommend it to friends, family and business associates.

Stayed two nights for business. Room was clean and comfortable. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. Wireless worked. The hotel was close (some walking distance) to restaurants and gas stations. Wisconsin Dells is close, but if you don't want the hassle of the summer traffic and noise, Baraboo is a great alternative. Baraboo has two Kwik Trips! :) The fridge was very cold and froze my carrots, but that was my fault for not looking at the settings. The hotel was quiet and a great place for a colleague and I to work. Overall, I recommend this hotel!.

Very helpful staff & nice renovations. They were able to upgrade our room, which really helped! The decor was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Nice breakfast selection as well. Location near Devil's Lake is a plus. Thanks again!

I've stayed at this BW in Baraboo twice for one night each time--in April 2015 and April 2016 in preparation for the Stubborn Fool Adventure Race. The staff is friendly but it's kind of a busy place--my racing partner and I checked in at 9:00pm and there was one person behind the counter, answering phones, juggling on-site issues, and checking us in. She was friendly but we waited a few minutes to be taken care of. The restaurant/bar off the lobby is quite loud and apparently quite the social hot spot. We need a good and quiet night's sleep before racing so we asked for quiet rooms and our requests were granted. The rooms, bathrooms/showers, beds and other facilities are fine but in no way special. I slept well and was in good shape the next morning. The hotel breakfast was basic but adequate--cereal, yogurt, bananas and apples, juice, pastries/muffins, and coffee. In short, the Best Western Baraboo checks all the boxes and that's about all. If you're in the area for one night I wouldn't hesitate but for any longer than that you might want to keep looking.

Unfortunately there was a mix up by me with my reservations but they worked with me to find another hotel for the first the night before they could get me into the hotel. Experience the other hotel made me appreciate the Best Western. A better facility, room & breakfast at a cheaper price. If I need to come back for business again, I will clearly book at the Best Western Baraboo.

For a small town, this Best Western is very nice! The rooms are very clean. The mattresses appear to be fairly new and quite comfy. The pillows weren't those lumpy, bumpy messes, but actual decent pillows! The front desk staff was very friendly. If I'm ever passing through this way or visiting the Dells, I'll definitely stay here again!

Even though Baraboo is not that large, this hotel is perfectly situated. Our room was large and clean. There's an indoor pool and spa, which is a big plus. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us find several tourist attractions and recommended some good places to eat. Breakfast was great. All the usual suspects served in a large area with lots of natural light.
