Every employee we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were great and well stocked by a very friendly attendant. We had a king size bed that was very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic! My only regret is that I didn't pay more attention to the employees name tags so I could single them out and say "Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable and relaxing"!

The gem about this place is staff members we see year after year that just make the stay better each time. It is so nice to have conversations with Lisa and Dave that make a guest feel welcome. The breakfast is just right to send you off to your weekend plans. See you next year!

This is an affordable option in a convenient location 20 minutes outside of Philly. We stayed overnight while visiting a friend in the area. We were warmly greeting by the receptionist and the manager, Mike, who are friendly and seem really invested in making sure everyone has a pleasant stay. It was the day after Christmas and they gave us a box of chocolates and bottles of water upon check-in. While it is an older hotel, it has been well maintained and we had no issues with our room which had two queen beds. It was everything you would expect from a pricier hotel – a mini fridge, microwave, toiletries (including shampoo and conditioner), and even a Keurig coffee machine. There was a complimentary breakfast which featured the expected items – eggs, waffles, yogurt, bagels, etc. We were pleasantly surprised with the value you get for the money you spend.

The full breakfast was top notch love how they have a menu for the week on what's being served. The beds are very comfortable and the staff is very helpful for what ever needs you may have. We were there on Christmas and the cleaning lady gave us a box of chocolates as a gift. So thoughtful. Thanks Best Western for a great stay.

We stayed here for many days for a family emergency with lots of moving parts -we moved rooms with no problems and the staff were amazing! Thanks so much for all your help and hugs. The team is like family. We are grateful!

Overnight stay for a baseball tournament. Rooms were clean and beds super comfortable! My only complaint is doors slamming were loud and woke us up in the morning. Breakfast was the usual and good.

Our choice to stay at this hotel was primarily driven by our soccer club's selection to secure a block for a tournament in the area. Initially, my impression upon arrival was mixed, as the hotel appeared to be on the older side. However, the check-in process was smooth, and the lady at the front desk was remarkably friendly and welcoming. The uneasy feeling began to creep in as I made my way to the room. The hallways emitted an unusual odor, and there were a couple of unfamiliar individuals loitering near the elevator. Furthermore, the elevators themselves seemed in dire need of maintenance, emitting concerning sounds. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by a strong, unpleasant sour smell. Upon exiting the elevator, the hallway maintained a dim, musty, and dated atmosphere. To my surprise, the room itself was relatively satisfactory. It could benefit from some modernization, as every outlet was loose, causing my phone charger to repeatedly disconnect. The toilet exhibited erratic behavior, splashing water during flushing and struggling to flush even a single piece of toilet paper. On the positive side, the beds were exceptionally comfortable and impeccably clean. If I were to base my review solely on sleep quality, it would undoubtedly receive a higher rating. Breakfast in the morning was decent, offering a standard hotel free breakfast experience. However, it was the following morning that I began to observe what appeared to be permanent residents at the hotel. When I attempted to fetch ice for my children's water bottles, I encountered two individuals sleeping on the couches near the elevator. The hallway leading to the ice machine was tainted with the smell of cigarette smoke. Throughout our stay, I noticed people congregating outside the hotel, inside the lobby, and, disconcertingly, individuals sleeping on the couch near the elevator. These weren't soccer tournament families, it appeared to be people who live inside this hotel. This environment was less than ideal, particularly when traveling with young children. On Sunday, after a strenuous morning of soccer games, we returned to our room hoping for relaxation, but that proved elusive. Apparently, the hotel hosts a Sunday church service with a full live band, and the noise was so intense that my room vibrated. Ultimately, we decided to leave the premises in hopes it would be over when we returned. Even the elevator ride was an assault on our ears, with the thunderous sound of drums and singing echoing through the hotel corridors—an unexpected experience for a hotel setting. In summary, I would not recommend this hotel for families with children, especially considering the apparent presence of long-term residents who may not adhere to the expected standards. This is regrettable, as the staff we encountered were exceptionally friendly, and the beds provided a comfortable and clean sleeping environment.

Place is great to stay at. Easy off and Easy on I295 either going South or North. Very clean, beds comfortable, TV gets all the channels. Very quiet and free internet. Breakfast is free and you have to try making the waffles, they taste great. I stay there every time I'm in the area. I recommend it highly.

Everyone makes us feel welcome and they wnet up and beyond helping us figure out transportation from the hotel to New York.. the manager and everyone did an excellent job.. we will come back for sure. The ladies at the breakfast area keep up the food fresh and clean.. Keep up the good work..

From this area of New Jersey and this hotel has been my go-to place for many years now. Rates are reasonable, pets allowed without breaking the bank, GREAT breakfast variety, very clean hotel,including the rooms, comfortable beds, coffee service in lobby, Keurig machines in rooms, nice lobby, fitness center and business station. Easy to get to, friendly staff and the best manager. I'll be bac!

No complaints about anything. Helpful staff upon check-in. 2 issues: 1. It was overpriced given the location. 2. Not sure why they advertised it as Philadelphia South, when it's located in New Jersey. That was a bit odd/misleading.

We needed a hotel for just one night while visiting the Philly area. This was a nice hotel - clean and a good breakfast. We arrived too late and were too tired for the pool but the outside area appeared to be nice.

The property was well kept and clean. The pool is nice with towels provided. The breakfast was better then I expected, quality food and a large area to eat. Free parking and it felt like a safe area. Half the price of staying in Philly, about 20 from Citizens Bank Park.

The front desk clerks were very friendly and treated us the minute we got there. They made sure we had everything we needed and explained breakfast location and hours. The breakfast was great and the dining room was clean. Will definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay, Rooms are nicely furnished with comfortable beds, great in room coffee, refrig, and microwave. Special kuddos to Annie - front desk, Mike -Manager with a great personality, and manager- Dave. Relaxing outdoor pool area and lobby. Breakfast included, delicious. Hotel is very clean. Secluded in a maze off the highway; the location is perfect for weary travelers, which is complimented by the understanding and professional demeanor of its staff. The check in time was executed flawlessly, which transfers to more r&r for clients to regroup or regenerate during travel. Clean facility and polite staff inclusive of breakfast bar attendant.

Our stay was comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast served was very food and the hostess was friendly and helpful. We were there for a funeral so we did not have time to enjoy the fitness center or pool but both looked to be in good working order.

The hotel was close to a major highway (NJ 295). The rooms were very quiet too. I was able to do the booking online. The building and parking lot was very clean. I also felt safe at this property. I will definitely stay here again when I visit family.

First they were very accommodating as we asked for an early check in. The property is spotless and very well kept. The location is off any busy road so it's very peaceful. Our room had excellent furnishings and heating. The desks we had any contact with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is large and had a good selection. Hotel and rooms are well maintained. Rooms are clean and fresh. I felt safe and secure. Staff was very friendly and made me feel like a welcomed and valued guest. They would always say hello and ask how things were going. I had everything I needed, if not I knew the staff would have been willing to help or provide suggestion. Breakfast here is good. Bedding was soft. Location is convenient. Value is very competitive. I would stay here again on my next trip to the area.

The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was awesome. In that regard, this is the best hotel I have stayed at in years. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Fantastic stay! The hotel staff at this hotel should be used to train all BW hotels across the country.

Our third stay here in three years . Always a wonderful stay. Great staff, and familiar faces ( Mike and Ryan) We stayed five nights for a family reunion nearby. Location is a little hard to find the first time.

it was great .i stay there all the time the people are great they know be by name the look after me when i call i never have any issues when it comes to booking my room.my family and try to stay at the hotel at lease 10 time out the year. my kids love the pool, its a very clean hotel.

Had a baseball tournament nearby and decided to stay. Convenient to the fields. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again when in the area. Not much to do in the surrounding area. Didn't use any of the hotel amenities. Easy check in.

My daughter and I traveled to West Depford for basketball weekend games. This Best Western hotel was about the same or smaller than the other BW hotels that I have been to. The front desk desk was formidable. Our room had a double queen bed, very spacious, many towels and very clean. The room also had a keurig machine in the room and downstairs in the lobby. The free continental breakfast was fantastic, fresh and the breakfast room was clean. The pool area was stocked with towels on demand, clean pool and lounge area opened till 12. We were accomodated at all our requests. We were even given free water bottles for our trip back home to NY.

Hotel looks newer it's clean and has comfortable beds and pillows. Pool was clean, coffee available all day is a nice touch. Staff was friendly and helpful . Keep up the good work this is a good stop right off TRPK. Breakfast has a good choice, cereal, eggs, toast , waffles and side for everything.

A delayed flight in Philly and all the airport hotels were booked, close to midnight, we were apprehensive as the Uber driver said - so you're goin to New Jersey? But we were so glad we did. Keysha at the front desk was so welcoming, found me some food as I was starving. Advised us to schedule our Uber return to airport the next morning as local taxis unreliable on a Sunday. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, it was quiet. Breakfast available at 6am with a friendly attendant. Just what we needed.

It was an easy and quick Check in. The area felt safe and had no issues. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was just a 15 minute drive to the Philly sports complex and Casion area. I plan on coming back to the area and will stay here again.

This hotel is very clean and the employees are so nice. It is a great place to stay. The breakfast is very good. I have stayed here a few times and will continue to do so. They really make you feel welcome.

The staff were friendly and courteous. I stayed with two older family members, one of whom requires a walker. The ramps throughout the ground floor were easily navigated and the room allowed ample space for navigation. This hotel is located immediately off the highway in a quiet area which made our trip much less stressful. Considering the cost (less than those just over the NJTP and free parking), this hotel was surprisingly well kept and decorated. There was a variety at breakfast and the food was fresh and plentiful. In the evening, there are fresh baked cookies at the reception desk. I would definitely stay here again and I think the Best Western brand is going to be my "go to" if they're anything similar to this one.

Enjoyed the included breakfast meal. Of course, the waffles were the best with crispy bacon and hot coffee. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds and plenty of towels. The large flat screen TV was the perfect way to relax after a hectic day.

Stayed only one night for a concert in Philly. Staff was courteous and helpful with directions. The room was clean, bed and bedding was comfortable and it was quiet. Far enough off the main road so you don't hear the traffic, plenty of parking. Would definitely stay here again.

Incredible front desk staff followed by good internet speed and a functional but comfortable room. Breakfast was lacking but I suspect due to covid but it's time to move past the weak breakfasts and go back to normal.

We stayed at the hotel during our dog's surgery in Philadelphia and couldn't have found a better place. The manager Mike was very compassionate to our situation and was so accommodating. The hotel was very well kept, quiet and close to everything. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here anytime we are in the area.

We just needed a place to stop over for one night on a long drive down from CT to NC. This Best Western is one of the few places in that area that are 'pet friendly' Room was clean enough, shower and beds were good. The 'grab and go breakfast' was adequate given Covid precautions. We didn't stay long enough to take advantage of any other 'amenities' like the pool and didn't need to use the in room fridge or microwave or tv. Pool looked clean and inviting. I suspect this hotel would be fine if you are looking for somewhere to stay for a few days while doing things in the Philly area, but its definitely good if you need to stop overnight on the way up or down I95 on a long trip and you have pets. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient.

Room was clean. Front desk staff very friendly. The first floor rooms need either vinyl floors or new carpet. The only complaint about our stay was the nasty floor. Smelled like mold and turned our feet black.

I had an extended stay for at least 60 days and I felt like I was home! It's very clean as always and staff always so helpful, if you need anything you just ask they do their best to accommodate! The pool is so clean and refreshing, and I'm truly looking forward to going back soon! Give them a try you won't be sorry!

Overall, the visit was very good. The property and rooms are somewhat dated, but it is in a quiet business park, and the service was friendly and helpful. The pool was opened and breakfast was served.

Don't stay here unless you want doors that are hard to lock, kids running around all night and elevated prices. The hotel employees did not solve the problem and they knew about the noise upon check in. The lady serving in the breakfast room was very friendly--the bright spot.

Overall my stay was nice. Interacted with multiple wonderful staff members, but the manager working the weekend needs to be told the people on the second floor can hear him when he is spreading homophobic hate at the front desk. Overheard a long conversation about anti-LGBTA hate speech. Saying that gay marriage is wrong and should be illegal, that he shouldn't see gay people on TV, or have trans people in the public restrooms they identify with! Disgusting human and should be removed from that position. Very unprofessional. I will never be returning to this location and do not recommend this location to anyone who doesn't have this disgusting mindset.

Clean fair price warm feeling. The front desk cleark rembered us from previous vist. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The internet service was great. They also provided a grear breakfast.

I've stayed at this particular over a number of years now. One thing for certain is this hotel keeps the same consistent high quality stay time after time! The management and staff are all wonderful! The grounds are kept up neatly, the building is well maintained inside and out. A great place to stay!

Traveling through the area, I stayed at this hotel with my small dog. After several nights on the road, this hotel was a very welcome stop. My room was clean, the hotel was well-maintained and the staff was friendly, which is much more than I can say about the other mid-price ($100/night) hotels I stopped at. Among the items I particularly noticed: bathroom was in excellent condition, no chipped tile or rusty fixtures, outside beds near the hotel had been freshly and thoroughly mulched with stone--no weeds peeking through, and a hot customizable breakfast was served in a paper bag since, in these times of Covid, there is no breakfast buffet. Clearly the management of this hotel knows how to run a hotel. Mike, at the front desk was professional, efficient and personable.

I didn't go into the room LOOKING for dirt but it was so obvious. Dirty faucet. Finger prints on the metal towel rack. A dried spill on the TV cabinet. I wiped all of these down to see if they were stains or dirty. DIRTY!

The staff at the front desk are always very welcoming and polite I'm more than willing to help you every state that I've had there has been very comfortable and clean and everything according to what I am told when I book a room there as well as I feel very safe staying there during regular times as well as this pandemic it's always very clean accommodating!

I had to stay here with my 2 dogs and my daughter for several weeks, from the second I walked in Mike was GREAT. The staff here is amazing and super accommodating!!! Its a hidden gem you'll definitely love.

Easy on and off from I-295. Close to the soccer fields for our tournament. I'd give the cleanliness of the room a 9 out of 10. Little interaction with staff but the check in was smooth and friendly. Parking was plentiful even though there were lots of families there for baseball and soccer tournaments. Walls a little thin on 2nd floor so we could here much of the goings on in the hallways and rooms near us. Overall, the hotel was a place for us to sleep and it did the job.

The rooms are clean and all function well. All amenities are clean, even the deepest corners and edges of furniture and bathroom. Pet friendly, only an additional $20 per stay, not per night, per stay!

We have stayed many times at this BW and consider it "home away from home"! The staff, namely a few, Dan, Mike, Ryan, but overall, the entire staff, are like family and they always make our stay very pleasant. We have enjoyed watching all the beautiful improvements you have made over the years and always look forward to seeing whats new when we arrive. Daughter's wedding. Motel location was great, close to wedding venue, Bogey's . We only stayed one night, but checked in late and everything went smoothly, room was clean and comfortable. Was pleasantly surprised with the full breakfast the next morning, delicious! We would definitely recommend this motel!

This property continues to improve with each visit. Good morning breakfast is very good, different variety of foods each morning. The rooms are modern and updated with a very well-lit liquor, a clean and fresh bathroom, and new 40in flat screen TVs.

The food was OK (usual hotel fare) but everything else was plastic: flatware and dishes. Are we not supposed to eliminate PLASTIC from our lives? That doesn't mean just plastic bags... I would prefer paying less and not have the breakfast included with the cost of the room. In any case, in the future, I will go to a restaurant that offers real food and proper dishes and utensils.

I have my extended family / business partners come into the area every year from around the world (one from Australia). I've had the group stay at several hotels in the area with less than stellar results. On the recommendation of a friend I called Best Western West Deptford to get a corporate rate for my group and had the pleasure of speaking with Mike Riccio. I knew after speaking to him... this was the place for my family to stay. I can't say enough about the hospitality and service that we all received from Mike. Mike made us feel like old friends and took excellent care of us all, can't thank him enough. It really makes the trip all that much better when the hotel is nice, quiet, comfortable, and you feel safe and taken care of. Not only did we find our permanent hotel for all our future visits, but we made a friend in the process. This hotel is spotless, great staff, fantastic rooms, and the included breakfast had anything you could want! If you are travelling to the area, do yourself a favor and look no further. THIS is the hotel to stay in if you are in the area.

We were travelling with a small dog so I booked at this hotel which does allow pets for a fee. I was not sure what to expect but boy, was I amazed at the highly professional staff at the front desk, wearing a uniform, no less! I was checked in by Keshia who was so very personable and efficient. They had plenty of luggage carts so we were able to get to our room in 1 trip from car. The lobby was so nice and decorated for Christmas just lovely. Coffee is available 24/7 in lobby. Our room was on the 1st floor and was just great! furnishings were tasteful and in good condition. Room was immaculate! We had a refrig and a microwave also in the room as well as a small coffee maker with the usual cups/coffee/stir sticks. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet so we slept very well. They have a great hot breakfast in the A.M. You name it, they have it. Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, tater tots, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits, bagels, muffins, a waffle making station, juices, coffee with different little creamers. All in a very large room. The breakfast attendant lady spoke to all who entered and was very pleasant and kept everything well stocked and tidy. When later checking out, the young man at the counter was also very personable. I was able to walk my dog right across from the front entrance in a nice shaded grassy area where there is a doggie-poo station. Not far away are picnic tables and a grill for warmer weather. I loved the place and would definitely stay again and recommend to all. It is also right off I-295 so very easy to get to.

I travel a lot for business and all I really want is clean and quiet. Throw in good internet and I'm there. This really exceeded my expectations. Mike Riccio went out of his way to be sure everything was right and if there was anything I needed. He asked if my room was right, if breakfast was alright and if I got enough to eat, and really meant it. I look forward to staying there again next time I'm in town.

First time staying at Best Western West Deptford Inn, what a great hotel, with great staff & facilities. The hotel & room was very clean and well appointed. I especially love the coffee making facilities in the lobby. The bed was very comfy, with soft comfy pillows. The hotel is in a quiet location but easily accessible with ample parking. I also enjoyed the fact that the rooms had a small fridge & microwave. The breakfast that was included in the price was one of the best ones I've encountered in a hotel, and I've stayed at many hotels while travelling in America. The staff were very very friendly, particular shout out to Mike Riccio what a wonderfully inviting host to his hotel, he was was an interesting person to chat to and very welcoming to the hotel, it's always nice to see management interacting with staff & guests. Thank you for a delightful stay, I shall be back next year for my stay & catch up with friends. I highly recommend this nice, friendly & affordable hotel to stay at.

I recently called to arrange a stay at the Best Western Philadelphia South - West Deptford Inn located at 98 Friars Blvd, West Deptford, NJ 08086. I was greeted on the phone by a young lady who identified herself as Keisha. She was incredibly profession and very knowledgeable. When I explained the reason for my stay and wanted to know of any special offers, she immediately identified an offer that fit my budget. Keisha explained all the benefits of staying with Best Western and informed me of all the amenities available during my stay. She also told me about breakfast and the time it is offered. I arrived a week later for my stay and I was greeted by an authentically friendly young lady. As soon as I mentioned my name for the reservation, she mentioned that her name was Keisha and she remembered taking my initial call a week prior. I am in a business that finds customer service to be our HIGHEST priority. The fact that Keisha remembered my call was important to me. She was just as kind in person than she was on the phone. This was the start to a very brief, but memorable stay. I will continue to look for the Best Western hotel brand in my travels and hope that more employees take after Keisha! Although the hotel is somewhat in a remote location, it is easy to access main highways and within minutes of restaurants and shopping. Hotel is clean, somewhat outdated with décor. Staff pleasant, especially Keisha and Dan. Will stay there again without hesitation.

I arrived at the hotel later in the evening to meet up with family already checked in. The Desk Cletk was very nice and efficient and made sure I had the room next door to my family. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also very good. I would stay at this location again.

The beds were very nice, and the room was much bigger than I expected. The view from our window was a bit less than expected but still a great stay. I would definently come back time and time again. And the fitness room was really nice.

The front desk and breakfast staff were exceptionally attentive. It felt like a family business (and I believe it is). I am severely gluten intolerant and still enjoyed an excellent breakfast - eggs and meat, yogurt and fresh fruit. The bed was as comfortable as home. Highly recommend.

We had two rooms on opposite sides of the hall. We noticed that one side had more modern air conditioning/heating units with on-wall thermostats and were a little more updated. We've stayed here before due to it's location outside Philadelphia. It's right off the Interstate. For a significant cost savings, the 20 minute drive to downtown Philly was worth it. There is a large, well maintained pool and seating area which the kids loved. The rooms are nice and clean, breakfast buffet was very good, and the staff was excellent. Ryan at the front desk is wonderful and a wealth of information. He recommended two reasonably priced restaurants to us that we and the 5 grandkids enjoyed. We wish those restaurants were in our home city. Excellent selection for a hotel outside Philly.

I have been staying at this location for over 10 years to visit family, spend time in Philadelphia and visit the Jersey shore. This BW is extremely well-managed. All the staff are well trained, friendly and helpful. The included hot and cold breakfast is very good and has something for everyone. The rooms are spotless. The outdoor pool is a treat. I noticed there are now a few barbecue grills and picnic tables available for guests. Free Coffee and tea is available 24/7. I will be staying here again!

Went to a Phillies game as we are traveling to different baseball stadiums in the eastern part of the country. We did not want to stay in Philadelphia downtown area. Picked this property based on photos and reviews. We were not disappointed, everything was good from check-in to check out, room rate and breakfast !

The place was more than meets the eye. The breakfast was really good with a solid selection to choose from. The lady that was in charge of the breakfast station was extremely nice and courteous. The staff was very friendly overall. The rooms were very clean, especially the bathroom. The pool area was nice. We would stay there again.

Needed a cheaper option to stay near Atlantic city (weekend). This hotel had great reviews. About an hour away from Atlantic city - but it was good. Room was clean. Breakfast was good as well - plenty of choices.

I always stay here when visiting family in the area, but my most recent visit would have tried the patience of Job. Unfortunately, the electrical power went out, courtesy of PSE&G, the electric company, NOT the hotel. The hotel staff did their utmost best to make their guests comfortable without AC and electric lights, even though this went on for 24+ hours! The management and staff found imaginative ways to light the interior hallways and common areas, as well as open windows in guest rooms to allow fresh air in. They even managed to keep a sense of humor about the whole mess, which was in NO WAY their fault! Kudos to management and staff of Best Western Hotel, West Deptford, NJ!

I would like to thank the management and staff for taking care of me when my car broke down. I was traveling from ME to NC when my car broke down nearby. The hotel was very clean and quiet my room was clean and excellent. Breakfast was good even after there was a local power outage. The staff was very helpful and friendly and it showed on all the customers' faces.

The house keeping staff, as well as the rest of the staff had Customer service as the goal. They where one point with anything we needed. They had enthusiasm and a smile at all times.It was refreshing.

Tony greeted us at the front desk when we checked in at 1:00AM after a nightmare flight to Philadelphia which included a cancelled flight, a delayed flight, a long layover, and lost luggage. Sensing our needs even before we asked, he provided all the necessary toiletries he had on hand and checked us in quickly and directed us to our room, providing us with a quiet room facing the courtyard where a large pool is located. The room was immaculately clean, the bedding was comfortable and the pillows were many and of varying degrees of firmness. The bathroom had a large shower, but rather smallish vanity. Later when we went to breakfast, we were greeted by a sweet lady who kept the area clean and replenished. The breakfast was standard fare, but there were many different toppings available for the waffles. We checked with Max at the front desk to see if our luggage had arrived. He was very friendly and helpful, printing and highlighting maps to direct us to a nearby pharmacy, Walmart and mall so we could get what we needed to continue our journey. Everyone we met at this hotel seemed genuinely welcoming, and encouraged us to come back. Late at night, the hotel seems to be in the boondocks, but it is close to the interstate, and is surrounded by big trees. It's a great value for the money.

Never disappointed at this BW. Great location, good value, excellent staff, good breakfast included, clean rooms, nice lobby, computers for use. Lots of extra amenities such as microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron & toiletries in room. Nice towels, lots of hot water. Exercise room though I've never used it. Negatives - No safe in the rooms, swimming pool not heated.

Reservation made through Best Western site, never showed up at hotel I stayed at, Best Western South @ Widner University. Front desk clerk was outstanding in being able to arrange rooms so that we could have a room for the 2 nights we originally booked for. Have no idea where the West Deptford Inn is at .

Great staff. Very helpful. Was able to check in early due to having to be in Philly by 4pm. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! Will definitely be staying there again when in that area. Would definitely reccomend.

We took a trip to see family-just an overnight trip- the price was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable beds. Customer service was great-friendly and fast service at the desk. Breakfast is always good, we did not eat this time but their breakfast is really good.

Super clean hotel, located near several highways and just 20 minutes or so to downtown Philadelphia or to the airport. Reasonable rates with freshly cooked eggs, bacon, etc. If you forgot any toiletries or need a bottle of water, the hotel is accommodating. Friendly and helpful staff from the reception desk, cleaning staff, breakfast team! There is an outdoor pool too for summer fun! I highly recommend!

Nice clean and quiet place , might be different on the weekdays , room was very clean , good hot shower . Breakfast was awesome wish I had more time To enjoy breakfast .its in my top hotels to stay at . Very good place to eat at around great corner at cincones. Security was a little lax as I could go into a side door and walk all around and nobody notices ! The doors to the room hall ways were also unsecured . Facility has laundry room . The only bad thing was the funky smell in the hallways but once you got used to it went away . Ryan the front desk clerk was awesome ! Front desk needs to keep there office door open

The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms, bedding and bath were clean. Toiletries were loaded. The amenities were numerous. The free breakfast had a vast variety of food offered. There were eggs, bacon,sausage, hash browns, waffles, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, muffins and much more.

We stay at this hotel whenever we are visiting friends who live nearby. So many times when you stay someplace over a period of years you can see the quality deteriorate over time. That's not the case here. The quality is consistent, clean and comfortable rooms, a great breakfast selection, friendly and accommodating staff. It is in a very quiet area convenient to I 295. You will get a good night's sleep and a good start to your day if you stay here.

We stay here each trip to AC, keeps us out of Philadelphia. Very comfortable, clean, great help. Breakfast is very good. Fresh scrambled eggs and waffles. Great choice if you're in the area. Try the Piston dinner if you can.

We had a 5 night stay at the Best Western. All the staff was friendly & accommodating. The rooms were quite & have been updated recently. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is off the highway, but easy to find if you follow directions.

We usually use Best Western's anyway if they are near where we are going, so it worked out well that this hotel was 10 minutes from family we were visiting. It's very easy to access, the room was spacious and comfortable and it includes breakfast which is always a bonus. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. We really enjoyed starying here.

We spent two nights here, this past Thursday and Friday. I don;t know how I can even get across how great this place is. From the moment we arrived were warmly greeted by the front desk staff who truly seemed happy to see us and treated us like family. You can tell the employees of this BW are really serious about making sure your stay is perfect. Our room (224) was clean, well appointed and quiet. Everything worked well. The bed and the pillows were so comfy. I always bring my own pillow but I didn't have to use it--their pillows were actually just as comfortable maybe more so. It was so quiet we didn't have to use the white noise machine we always lug around to drown out the usual hotel/traffic noises.The breakfast was really good. Real scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage, bacon, cereals, pastries, fruit, waffles, yogurt, bagels, muffins, really a great variety and it was all tasty! Keisha welcomed everyone as they walked in and made sure we all had anything we needed. I even saw her take the stainless steel personal water bottles from an entire group and fill them with ice and water so they could take them on their travels that day. She said we could grab some snacks "to go" and we took some apples, bananas and a couple of hard boiled eggs. These were convenient to carry with us as we walked around Philadelphia, visiting the wonderful historic sites. You can grab bottled water at the front desk on your way out too. (cheerfully provided at no cost).Don't spend twice as much money to stay in Philly if you want to see the city! The drive into the city from this hotel is very quick. It took us about 15 minutes to get right to the Old Town section where all the amazing National Monuments are. The historic area is small. You can walk almost all of it. We were so happy with our stay and with the proximity to the city. This hotel is not in a "dicey" area. It's in a very nice area. Vert safe and quiet.Check out was a breeze too. We'll be back next year!Great job by the staff!

Stayed at the Best Western, West Deptford, Philadelphia for a couple of nights on way to Washington. A little way out of town but the price reflects that. We arrived to a cheerful greeting from reception. The room was clean and had a good selection of amenities. Breakfast was a really good experience, the waitress was the best ever, happy, helpful and kept the room squeaky clean. Check out fine, we had trouble finding our next destination on our GPS and the young man on reception persevered and found that although the hotel was in Washington area , it was on the border, so was actually in Maryland. The manager came out whilst all this was happening and engaged in chit chat, really friendly. P.S. the hotel recommended restaurant “Cicero” an Italian was a fantastic experience just a short distance away.

We returned to the East Coast for a viewing. Made these reservations site unseen. While the hotel is older, it is clean, the breakfast is great and the staff is superb! Friendliest and genuinely kindly people I've met in a long time. Keynisha (forgive me if I spelled this wrong) in the breakfast room treated my family like we were her own - especially my twin granddaughters! And the front desk staff, every one, treated us like we were their most important families. I dont know how hotels get there ratings but I dont think gold and glitter make it. This one should be a 5 star simply based on the fact that courtesy and professionalism are displayed 100% of the time. We thank the managers as well, and of course, Best Western. Within five minutes of our arrival we found out that our toilet was not working. Rather than have someone fix it (or not), we immediately moved to another room. NOTE: When we made our reservation, we requested an extra two pillows, which neither room had. The next morning at 9:15am a housekeeper came to our room to service it. We were still dressing for a funeral, and requested that they come back. When we arrived back to our room at 3:30pm after a very long day, we found that our room had not been serviced. We called the front desk and was informed that housekeeping had left for the day. When we said that we weren't going to pay for the room, the next thing we knew a housekeeper was knocking on our door and replenished our towels and made our bed. Kind of uncomfortable to watch, as she no sooner cleaned the bathroom, then she made the bed...no gloves or washing of the hands. Kinda gross IMO. The hotel is dated and the halls have a musty smell to them. The elevator is not centrally located, so, if you are a person who has walking issues, you might want to request a first floor room. Also, the french fry that was in the stairwell on our first day, was finally removed on our third day. UGH. We did not try the breakfast offered, as we were turned off by what we did see in the hotel, and were concerned about things we couldn't see. Pay the extra money and stay elsewhere.

Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was the best plus Wi-Fi was helpful, they have a gym and a nice pool patio...slept like a baby on my kingsize i will definitely be back this time i will bring a friend.

Helpful from initial phone call to checkout. It starts with smiles and greetings from every single staff member. Everything worked everywhere - their handyman/engineer must be BUSY doing an excellent job. Clean, comfortable, quiet, great breakfast kept organized and clean and refilled. This hotel was everything you could ask for and more! The staff, Ryan especially, were the friendliest and most helpful staff you could ever ask for. The rooms were spotless and sparkly clean, which was my favorite part because I am a clean/neat freak. They even have this recyclable remote protector so you don't have to touch the remote after five thousand other people did. LOVE IT! The hotel has a beautiful pool and a free breakfast that has all the basics. Our stay was so wonderful that we decided to stay an additional day. Ryan was so fantastic! He was able to accomdate our very last minute decision and by working his magic, we didn't even have to switch rooms. Thank you, Best Western and thank you, Ryan! We will be back! :)

I stayed here because it's five minutes from where I'm working. The good news is that the staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel itself is old and worn out. I had them move me because the first room had a mattress that was like concrete. My second room smells so stale and like cigarettes. I felt bad and didn't ask them to move me again. The room is clean just really old and smells bad. The breakfast is fine. I wouldn't stay here again.

Had my family up from Texas the first week of August 2018. They were extremely pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. Actually commented that it was nice to see people enjoying their jobs and working hard to accommodate their guests as much as possible. We stayed here on our way further north. The staff were very friendly at check in. We were able to take our toddler for a swim to help expend some energy before bedtime. The room was clean and decent. The hot breakfast the next morning was a great way to start our long day of travel. We would stay here again.

We stayed recently, quite unplanned as our flight (along with many others) was cancelled. At 3.05am we phoned hoping a room would be available. It was and we were very happy to have stayed. On hotels.com the hotel is listed as 3.4miles from the Phil intl. airport. We learned in a taxi that that this is as the crow flies and it is about 20 minutes drive. Despite this, we had a wonderful stay and I am so glad we chose this hotel. Manager, Mike Riccio is an absolute gentleman and certainly one of the most professional and hospitable hoteliers we have met. He was helpful and polite and really saw that our stay was comfortable and after a stressful time at the airport, we left this hotel both refreshed and with a renewed feeling of calm. Thank you Mike for making our stay so pleasant. It was great to meet you!

Every time I visit my family in New Jersey we stay at the Best Western Philadelphia South-West Deptford Inn. This is ongoing for us for the past 12 years. The staff, which includes the front desk personal, the kitchen staff and also housekeeping, are nothing but EXCELLENT. If there was a better word to use, I would. They go out of their to accommodate your every need. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there and we highly recommend this Hotel.

Stayed at hotel while attending a concert in the area. The price was very good for the Philadelphia-metro area and the room was very clean. Hotel staff were professional and easy to deal with. No major issues during stay. Breakfast was basic, but overall I can't complain.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for 4 nights and a day and we were very thrilled with everything! The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the pool was nice! The only down side and what I would warn you about is the location. It's not near much, so I would say that's the only down side. It's not entirely too far though, only about 20 mins to Philadelphia. We also went to Atlantic City, about an hour away! We only had a rental car the last two days of our trip, so we took Lyft the rest of the time. It was quick, easy, and about $20 for both of us total to get to Philly. (Depends on time of day, which day of the week, etc...) Great trip!!!

This is a special review for me. It's my 300th review and one of many for this hotel. I love everything about this hotel. The staff members here are like family. Mike is a great guy and he has always been compassionate and caring. He took great care of me when I hit a rough patch. I promise to make it up to him when I get my life back on track. Dillon, Max, Ryan, and Justine are the best front desk members ever. All of these people are like family to me. I always get a great room that's clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet location and away from the highway. I will definitely return again and again. Thank you all for everything you've ever done for me. I had to travel for work and this hotel was very close to where I was working for the week. While the hotel divinely is showing its age, the staff is keeping it clean and they provide friendly service. The free breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast, a meat, scrambled eggs, make your own waffles... you know what I'm talking about. The dining area was large and clean. My room was kept well clean however there was an odd odor but not anything I was concerned about. The AC/heater unit is not set by a thermostat but rather by the knobs on the unit. I'd rather be able to set it to a temperature and kick off when attained but this was always on or off which I found annoying. They desk staff was very friendly and professional. If I have to go to this area again for work I will choose another place to stay, however, I have definitely stayed in worse places (deployments to the "sandbox" back in my active duty days).

Stayed here for my son's baseball tournament. 5 miles away from fields. Very nice outdoor pool. Excellent breakfast with very friendly and attentive service. Easy check in/out with very friendly employees. Nice hotel room with comfortable beds and microwave and mini fridge. Excellent rate for a Saturday night. Would definitely stay here again.

It's no five star hotel. Theres a lot thats raggedy and could be maintained but the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious and the water pressure is lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is a good place to stay if your looking for a night or two while traveling with you family.

This BW may be old and in need of new carpeting and some freshening up but it is still a good choice for a stay over when visiting family in the area. Other than a yip-yapping dog next door one of my 3 nights, it was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

This hotel is one of the nicest of all those we visit. Your staff is always on the ball, and this trip was no different. Kudos to all !! Pool looked great, but weather did not cooperate. Breakfast is always satisfying and this time was wonderful All of your employees are great....you must send them to cooperative school !! Keep up the good work !!

This was our 2nd two-room stay in 3 months. Management pays a lot of attention to detail here. Everything is orderly, in its place and nicely done. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a comfortable, quiet, glitch-free stay at a reasonable price, you aren't going to do much better than this.

Our stay at the West Deptford BW was delightful the staff were very friendly and helpful giving us directions to various restaurants and services around town and how to get into Philadelphia to see the sites there

the hotel is very easy to find and staff was VERY friendly and willing to help. Would absolutyely stay there again. room was very clean and we all forgot toohbrushes which the desk staff supplied for us.

An older establishment off the beaten path, but perfect for my needs. Clean room and helpful staff. Couldn't have asked for more.I had a very expensive bike that I didn't want to leave in my car overnight. Staff allowed me to take it to my room with no questions asked. I appreciated that.

This hotel stands out because of the level of customer service and fun the staff have at the hotel. They are always willing to help and make you feel more welcome on your stay. The only downside we had was that the wifi wasn't connecting in our room. Other than that it was perfect and was an ideal location for a business trip to Philly!

The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hot and fresh with a lot of choices. Mike and his staff go above and beyond. Thanks for a comfortable night and wonderful stay. When we are in the area this will be our hotel of choice.

Very personable front desk manager. Newly redecorated rooms. Lots of restaurants nearby ..... or delivery to your door. Clean, quiet and restful. I would definitely recommend this motel for weary travelers. It's also very convenient to and from 295.

We had to make quick arrangements for our family to gather for a funeral, and we selected the Best Western because of its location and our previous visits. From the time we phoned to make the reservations until the time we finally checked out, the staff was very helpful, respectful, and courteous. Our plans kept changing due to the weather, but the staff was always very helpful as we booked and un-booked several rooms. The rooms are clean and neat. The breakfast buffet is plentiful. This is a good choice for the cost.

I've stayed at this hotel on several occasions and I love everything about it. The price is always fair and the staff is absolutely phenomenal. Every single staff member here is magnificent and they're all like family. I'd like to say a special thanks to Dillon, Max, Ryan, and Justine. You are all amazing front desk people. I definitely can't forget about Mike. He's my favorite hotel manager of all time. He's super understanding and accommodating and has made me feel like a resident instead of a guest. That's a feeling like no other. This staff is like a second family. I will return to this hotel again and again.

Spacious, clean room. Front desk staff very nice and friendly. Excellent breakfast for complimentary hotel food. Like the convenience of the computers to check e-mails, etc. Coffee/tea available 24/7 at front lobby area.

The hotel needs a complete remodel. The rooms are dark, old, and dingy. The toilet in my room was not previously cleaned. The heat did not get hot at the highest setting only warm. There is a back entry way to the hotel that does not have any type of locked entry. Anyone can enter through the door. Very unsafe. Please see pics I have included. I could only stay here for a couple hours. Booked another hotel for the rest of the week.

Only problems I had was the person in the room next door was smoking and I could smell it. The printer on the guest computer was not working and staff did not know hoe yo fix it (kept reporting it was offline). But staff made me one copy on their computer but I really need more and did not want to impose. The young man was very nice. I also forgot an electric device, which was found and the stated they will mail it back on Monday

When I drove down south I stopped here for a weekend, it's close to the highway I295, breakfast and the service is good, the rooms and the pool are clean. It's a just 15 minute from city Philadelphia.

Dillon the evening receptionist gave us "Over-the top" service... at our arrival, while we were there and whenever we needed something. He always insisting on delivery to our room. The room was comfortable, warm and very clean. A+ rating

I don't normally review places unless I feel a strong need to, so my review means a lot! The staff here goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and satisfied with your stay. Their super sweet, nice, polite, courteous, professional, & very helpful! The place was really nice inside and very clean! Well decorated and free breakfast, coffee in the lobby, and free wifi are all nice touches! Was only here for a weekend for an event, and was very pleased with the experience had here! Great job! :)

Great place to stay. Free Breakfast and it is easy off and on I295. Wawa is right around the corner for any food you may need. The place is very clean. Secure hotel for single traveler and they accept pets. It was snowing this weekend and they even blew the snow off my car. I would recommend this to anyone travelling north or south on I295.

We stayed at this hotel a few days. Looked really nice and not only did the hotel meet our expectations once we arrived, but far surpassed them too! Our room was gorgeous - modern, chic, calming, classy, and new! We couldn't stop looking at all of the amazing light fixtures and simple yet ornate details. I will absolutely be revisiting and most likely be making this my annual getaway! I think the price is perfect!

I've stayed at this hotel several times and these are the nicest people you'll ever want to deal with a hotel. Every single person is friendly and caring and you get treated like royalty. Justine is delightful and sweet and takes good care of you. Max is pleasant and helpful and always takes care of me. Ryan is kind and caring and even came up to my room and changed my sheets after housekeeping left. Dillon is always cordial and always gives me a great rate. Last but not least is Mike. He's one of the most helpful and understanding hotel people I've ever encountered. He goes above and beyond every time I've ever stayed here. He even helped me when I had a crisis. Where else would you find that kind of hospitality? Nowhere. This staff is like family. Stay here and see for yourselves.

Our first surprise was at breakfast, where the hostess was more a warm waitress than a breakfast bar stocker. She was more interested in making sure that each and every diner had what they needed. Later we enjoyed the company of the desk clerk while relaxing in the lobby. The lady taking care of my room went the extra mile to get me an extra blanket. I'd have to say that this was the best hotel stay that I've experienced in a while. Soccer Dad.

This location allowed us to easily sightsee in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. We could access the historical sights in Philadelphia by taking the Ben Franklin Bridge, could drive to Longwood Gardens in PA and Wilmington was just a dozen miles from Longwood. The hotel itself had everything we needed, staff treated us well. Breakfast was good. Very pleased with everything, appreciated the ease of traffic. BTW, parking in Philadelphia was across the street from the excellent TI, cost about 12 bucks because we arrived before 10 AM.

This was the perfect place fir us to stop and visit with our family on our way to New England for Thanksgiving. Easy to get to places for lunch and dinner, too. Certainly the location could not have been better..... right off the highway

There was a flea on my bed!!!. Thought it was just a piece of fuzz at first, but then it JUMPED. Also stain on the sheet up towards the top of the bed, and stains on the pillow case. Got switched to a new room. Wanted to leave and go to another hotel, but it was 11:30 at night. The next morning, the Manager spoke to me, and apologized, offered me "reward points" instead of giving me a full refund, and stated that the bug was a "beetle". Didn't seem really overly sincere, and offering reward points is ridiculous!

We select hotels on a Best Value basis, weighing price and reviews to make our selection. Therefore, we expected everything to be within a broad range of being acceptably satisfactory, but we were surprised that everything at this property was really, really good. EVERYTHING was at the max or nearly so. The furnishings, towels and washcloths, breakfast, friendly and helpful employees, and 99.9% of everything were REALLY-REALLY good. Even the toilet paper was above average! There are only two things to note that are less than ideal, which cannot be improved due to the fact that the building is a little older. These things are that the hallways are very long, and that there's only one elevator. These two things are small issues (to us) compared to all the well-above-average attributes of this hotel.

We were very happy with the accommodations the staff made for our group to meet our needs and timelines, and appreciative of the staff's efforts on our behalf to make our trip smooth, relatively inexpensive, and a great experience. This was not the closest hotel to our destination, but we have formed a great relationship over the years and always prefer to stay here.

Justeen and Max did a great job welcoming me and making sure I had everything I needed for my stay. They are a big asset to the Best Western team! The rooms a good value for the price. It would be great if the carpets in the rooms and hallways were updated.

I had a great experience here. I was placed in a room that satisfied all the requests I had written on my reservation. My room was spotless and all amenities worked well. The manager goes out of his way to be friendly and make guests feel comfortable. The staff addresses any problems in the room within minutes. They provided me with a truly exceptional experience.

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel when I was in New Jersey for my high school reunion. It is easy to find, it is very clean, there is a large pool and breakfast was included. Please know, it is not "fancy" - just a very nice, very clean room and hotel in a convenient area. You are close to Philadelphia if are needing that location. But I think for me it was all about the staff. The lady who greeted us for our morning breakfast was smiling, happy, energetic, helpful and kind. We all smiled each day we were there. The front desk staff was amazing. Again, thoughtful, funny, thorough. I looked forward to seeing them. I also spent some time chatting with one of the managers and he too went out of his way to greet us all and make us feel like home. We were given the opportunity to use an additional room if we wanted to get together as a group (most of us were staying there). Additionally, the hotel is close to restaurants and highways.

My husband and our friends planned our weekend visit to Philadelphia. Hotels too expensive downtown so discovered There was a Best Western 20 minutes away in west Deptford NJ where the happy people work!! Great accommodations -rooms big,clean,comfortable beds,delicious breakfast ....and the happiest people who work hard to make you feel the same! Shout out to Mike, Dillon ,Justine, Isabel,Mayabel and Keysha!! We'll be back on our next visit!

The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping was extremely professional and nice! The breakfast was, warm, filling and yummy! This was our second stay at this hotel and we will always return here when we are in the area. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, you are truly a valuable guest and they let you know it. Our room was large and very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Hot and cold choices and plenty of them. The breakfast room is quite large so there is never a problem with finding a place to sit and eat your breakfast. We have had this problem in other hotels we have stayed in but not here. The ladies who take care of the room are so nice and helpful. I really can't say enough good things about the wonderful staff here. The hotel is in a quiet area so you can get a good night's sleep yet it is very close to the highway so you can easily get to Philadelphia. or points south.

Stayed one night and it was clean. The beds were two doubles so not as roomy for two but comfortable. Stayed on second floor. Easy access to everything. Breakfast was enjoyable and plenty to choose from. The staff was very accommodation and very friendly. I would recommend this BEST Western for sure.

Rooms were spotless, breakfast was best I've ever had in any hotel, eggs were fresh, real and not powdered, a wide variety of free options, service was outstanding and people extremely accommodating and friendly. They all went out of their way to make our stay extremely comfortable. Rooms were very quiet-didn't hear any noise in hallways or people making loud noises at 3AM.

The staff at this hotel cannot do enough to make your stay exceptional. They go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. The hotel is very clean & has been renovated since our last visit in 2012. It is convenient to many locations. We stayed at this Best Western while in town for a wedding. The exterior of the building isn't amazing, but the staff is the best. I've never felt so welcomed in a hotel before. The rooms were nice and clean, and breakfast was good! They had a crib ready for us in our room when we arrived for the baby. The wi-fi was reliable. I would definitely choose to stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone! This is a very family friendly hotel.

Stayed here after a concert at BB&T Pavilion - well worth the 20 minute drive and not having to stay in the city. Front Desk was awesome - breakfast was good the next morning. Pool looked inviting but we didn't have the time to use it.

We have stay at this location, many times over many years. The staff is very helpful, and the management very personable. The breakfast girl, on Sept 16/17 was tops. Very accommodating , as is every one we contact. We always book at BW, West Deptford, and find no equal in Phila/Metro area.

Every time you stay here, it's always friendly and helpful staff. You cannot beat the price and location for being a older hotel. The breakfast in the morning is cooked eggs, not them powder ones you get most places.

I have to make about 2 or 3 trips to the philadelphia area each year and I always try to stay here because they are so friendly accomodating and the hotel is in an excellent location for me to jump across the river and be in downtown Philly in 30 mins. I try to stay in the same room each time and they are so helpful in trying to make that happen. Everything a bout the hotel is great. If youre looking to be in this area wheather Jersey or Philly this is the place!

This was my first stay at this property and I couldn't have been more satisfied. The room was clean and a decent size. This was such a quiet place. You could hear a pin drop. And Dillon was a great front desk employee. He was very helpful and gave me a great rate. And did absolutely everything he should have to ensure great customer service. And Tony was great as well when I checked out in the morning. He was pleasant and he asked me how everything was. More hotels should operate this way. A+ stay. I will definitely be back

Every four months I visit my 2 granddaughters, son and daughter-in-laws enjoy staying at this Best Western in Thorofare, NJ. The front desk staff, housekeeping and breakfast personnel all very friendly and knowledgeable.

Hockey tournament! Hotel was great at accommodating our large group. We were able to use the meeting room for knee hockey so the boys would not disturb the rest of the hotel. We were able to use the breakfast room as a common area at night for dinner. Great staff!

Loved this place. Front desk receptionist Dillon was awesome. Diet went out the window with the free cookies and coffee in the lobby! Breakfast was great! The toppings at the waffle station was varied and a lot of selections for a hot breakfast . The room was clean, comfortable and quiet ! Will come again ! The decor could use an upgrade though I liked the pics on the walls!

Old building but updated. Nice amenities, including a Keurig coffeemaker in the lobby. Room had a comfortable lounge chair instead of just a desk chair or none at all. Adequate bathroom space (storage), clean, very comfortable bed and auto AC. Very close to National Park where I visit every year. Allows pet but it looks like this chain of hotels beginning to take advantage of pet travelers by charging $20/day instead of the $20/stay they used to, which was reasonable. I didn't brng a pet this year so I cannot verify this but website indicates $20/day. They have also increased their room rates across the board but only difference I see is a printer in the room - why? Staff is cordial and attentive. Lots of things to do and see in the greater metropolitan Philadelphia area.

Well, we have had another wonderful stay at the Best Western at West Deptford Inn, NJ at exit 20 off 295. We had stayed here last year, Sept/Oct. 2016. It felt like coming back home again. We were here for 37 days in June/July 2017 and were treated like family. Breakfast was great and choices were lots. Staff always concerned that things were going well for us. We had lots of laughs and fun with the staff and even the people coming and going. Relaxing for us to have a great place to stay. Quite and peaceful. Couldn't have had such a wonderful vacation with out the caring staff Dan, Mike, Tony, Justine, Dillon, Ryan, Keysha, Gerry.! We will stay here again for our future vacations to South jersey . My friends and I planned a last minute trip to Philadelphia and we decided to stay here. The hotel is about 15 miles away (30 minutes) from Philadelphia. The hotel is conveniently located near a major highway. The hotel was well maintained both on the outside and interior hallways. The double queen bedroom along with the bathroom were relatively clean, the beds were comfortable, all the fixtures/appliances worked well, the hotel offered various amenities such as a complimentary hot breakfast, fitness center, business center, and free internet access. The service was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel staff is well versed and professional. Ryan, Tony, and Dylan were very helpful throughout my stay recommending area attractions. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

This hotel was perfect for an immediate trip that came up suddenly for my family. The staff was super supportive and very pleasant. The rooms were very clean, smelled nice, pleasant decor and spacious. Breakfast was great, nice variety of items that tasted great, however, the eggs were cold. My only other wish regarding the food is that they start getting some natural foods available. The pool and pool area were great, spacious and comfortable. Really liked how private the hotel was, not surrounded by so much activity. The value we received for the price was excellent!

This is a hotel that I always say at when my business takes me to the greater Philadelphia area. Although it is approximately 20 minutes outside of the city proper, there are several easy routes which I can follow into the city. The value for the price is extraordinary compared to the Philadelphia proper hotels and far exceeds the value of most of the other Best Westerns at which I have stayed. The staff is always attentive, friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool generally quiet and always clean. Multiple local delivery options for food which are adequate. If you are looking for clean, serviceable, well valued accommodations with easy and close access to highways, this is a very good choice.

Stayed only one night but that experience was excellent hotel staff was friendly courteous would recommend hotel to anyone next time I visit my daughter I plan to stay there if you planned a visit to South Jersey/ Philadelphia area I recommend that you stay at this hotel

This was a typical 2.5-3 star place. The room was clean and served it's purpose. We were very disappointed with breakfast. They ran out of food quickly because the hotel was booked and only had 1 person working such a large breakfast area. She was running around constantly trying to keep up with demand.

Justine at the front desk was efficient, warm, and very helpful, personally finding us a luggage cart and taking it to the side door where we parked. The hotel was clean, breakfast well presented, beds and linens and cooling system quite comfortable. I didn't give it an excellent as it could use some newer hall carpeting, the tv was adequate but not huge, the room had plastic glasses, and there could have been brighter bulbs in the room. The pillows were too thick for us, but most hotels offer the same thickness so I always bring our thinner ones. The layout of the hotel requires extra walking between the elevator and the guest rooms... good exercise for most of us! However with the exception of the thick pillows, none of those items affected our comfort level; the price was reasonable; and there was a nice selection of offerings for the hot breakfast which was provided. Staff was great!

I only needed to be in town for 1 night. I would have stayed longer if I had the opportunity and part of the reason I would stay is the visit with Best Western West Deptford. Clean room, quiet hotel, very helpful and courteous staff. I was really pleasantly pleased to watch and listen interaction between staff with others. I don't recall one moment where the staff was less than great. I travel quite a bit and do pay attention to this.

On our recent trip to New Jersey, we stayed at the BEST WESTERN PHILADELPHIA SOUTH-WEST DEPTFORD INN located in West Deptford, New Jersey. What a wonderful experience. This place was clean and very well kept, both inside and outside. we can't say enough wonderful things regarding the staff members, from the Front Desk personal, to the Kitchen staff to the Housekeeping staff. They were all caring, attentive employees that other Hotel employees could definitely learn from.

Chose this hotel totally at random but because it was half way to where I was going and Best Western since I was a platinum member. What a great place and friendly helpful staff!! They went out of their way to make sure they accommodated both the handicap and the ESA animal.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast selections were just fine for all of my family. this Best Western is convenient to nearby towns. My family and i always stay at this Best Western when we are visiting family in Mickleton, N.J.

A bit of an older hotel but it has had some nice upgrades. Great breakfast. Helpful and courteous staff. Will get you what you need or want if available. I would recommend staying here anytime. Nice pool.

1st impression when we pull up to hotel was , very clean grounds plenty of parking. went in to register ,impressed with the lobby area . Was greeted by Dillon at the front, was very friendly and professional. Our room was ready before the 3 pm check in time. When we got to the room ,the room was very clean and everything in order. Retrned the cart and Dillon asked if everything was good. Over all review was Excellent. Pool was good also. Breakfast was very good. 'Breakfast Lady " was friendly and helpful. We have stayed at many BW. This one was the best experience. Definitely come back and stay longer. Very happy and impressed.

Stayed here this past weekend while I was in town for my cousins graduation party, had a great experience. The rooms were very nice, and clean and had every thing I needed... woke up the next morning and was able to go downstairs and have a great delicious breakfast! I would without a doubt stay here again and will do so if I'm ever in town again!

I booked the room for one night and needed to extend my stay an additional day. The gentleman at the Front Desk was very helpful in making the changes needed so I could stay the extra day. All the staff - especially the Front Desk staff - were helpful, courteous and pleasant from check-in all the way through check-out. Any time I'm in the area again, I will stay at this hotel.

This is a nice hotel with great rates if you are visiting Philadelphia. Much cheaper to stay here, only 13 miles from center city Philly. Great breakfast which is always a plus! Nice outdoor pool. Some areas of hotel seem to be bit outdated. In smoking room areas, the odor of whatever was used to mask the smoke smell was bit overwhelming. A bit of an issue when we checked in. I was quoted a certain rate for two rooms and had a confirmation number. Clerk was not going to honor that rate; wanted to charge me $25 more per room. I said I had a confirmation number, he said I needed to give him the name of the person who confirmed the reservation (what?...what is the confirmation number for?) to get that rate. He was a bit frazzled, but with a bit of pushback, he finally agreed to honor it.

the staff really make this hotel stand out, along wit the breakfast and the price. the rooms are clean although dated. The Air Conditioning had a slight odor but worked fine. The bathrooms are old but clean and functional, the rooms are carpeted which could also count against it. IN closing the value you get for the price compensates for some of the aging decor.

As a first time visitor this Hotel was very clean. I always do a white wipe in the bathroom and no dirt found. Almost as if it were a just built Hotel. I hope this could be found in all BW's should I have a stay at another.

We had to travel to New Jersey due to a death in the family. After driving all day, we received a friendly welcome from the clerk at the desk. Justine was phenomenal!!! Breakfast the next morning was super as well. Chocolate chip batter for the waffles!!!! The staff was incredibly courteous and always greeted us with a smile.

The front desk{Justine} was very helpful and accommodating when she found out we were there for a funeral memorial. We didn't know when we made the reservation that we could get a bereavement rate and after checking, she gave us the rate. It sure helped and gave us comfort despite the situation. it was a wonderful stay and she started it out right.

Hotel as expected - not new and fancy, but clean and met our needs for a last minute trip to Philadelphia area. Convenient to the city, but free parking! I could not pay $50+/night just for parking. Would definitely stay here again. Well managed and staff who went out of their way to be helpful.

I am very picky about where I sleep. This hotel is easy access, friendly and clean. I don't have to worry that I will be in danger or leave with any sort of issues. The staff takes care of their guests!

Our trip was delayed due to work and traffic issues, didn't check in until almost 1:30am. The hotel staff (Max, Justine, and Dillon) were great in holding our reservation for such a LATE arrival, and the room was very clean and comfortable. We had a view of the pool, which looked amazing, but we didn't get to swim due to our schedule. We slept very well, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning and heat both worked well in the room. The breakfast was AMAZING. The hostess/cook was a ray of sunshine, she greeted each person and was happy to help in any way possible, clearing up the plates, refilling items, etc. I have dietary issues, and the selection that I could have was larger than I expected to choose from. The hot food, eggs, potatoes, sausage, and waffles were all really good, too. Only a 20 minute drive from the BB&T Pavillion, so it was perfect for our needs. Definitely recommend it to any concert traveler!

When we visit relatives in South Jersey and/or Rowan University we always stay at this hotel. It is always clean, neat, and most important the staff has always been the best. One sort of minor point....the breakfast is one of the best and you always get a newspaper!! Try them...you will be amazed. Only 15 minutes to down town Philadelphia and 1/4 the price of a Philly hotel !!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best "free" I've ever had: besides the usual assortment of waffles, etc., they had home cooked potatoes, tons of bacon and real (not microwaved) scrambled eggs. Clearly the owners are not trying to skimp. The room was clean and the mattresses were covered with dust mite/bug proof covers plus washable pillow toppers.

Perfect for what we needed. Quick overnighter to see a show in Philly. A 10-15 min uber ride into town from here. Hotel was clean. Not a 5 star but Norman bates isn't running the place. Bfast was adequate. Eggs sausage hash browns. Staff was cool. Easy check in/out. Good hotel in all

This hotel was an excellent product for the rate, the staff was very friendly and accommodating and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was standard hotel type breakfast. Location of the hotel and parking at the hotel was good. I would highly recommend if someone is in this area.

I decided on this location because of its proximity to a sports event and it was awesome. This isn't a new facility, but what it lacks in frills, it makes up for in the superior customer service from its team. Rooms are clean and quiet. I even saw a housekeeper sanitizing the TV remote as I was walking by another room. Free breakfast and the attendant in the breakfast area attends to every need and makes you feel at home. The lady at the front desk in the evening was outstanding. The man at the desk in the morning was equally as helpful. YOU CANNOT GO WRONG at this Best Western. Price is great, but the people make it perfect!

The hotel was very nice except for the fact that there was a ton of school kids they're playing soccer in the hall and making a lot of noise. I know it's not the hotels fault to control but I should call next time to make sure there's no kids events!

My family stayed here Friday night after driving up from Florida going home to northwest NJ. The front desk person, Justine, was the nicest person I ever seen working at a hotel. She wasn't phony but very genuine and helpful. Her manager should give her a big raise. I would hire her in a minute. Then I noticed the rest of the staff during my stay were very friendly as well. Actually going out of their way to say hello. Hotel itself is good and clean. Breakfast was good as well. The layout of hotel is a little awkward. I would recommend staying here again.

I made the reservation here about a month prior to needing to be in Sewell for a soccer tournament. I considered changing hotels many times. This hotel is pet friendly. There was no sign of pets(no smell, no hair). If you are allergic, request second floor. The staff are very kind. The girl at the front desk was especially involved with the customers. She's very helpful and very upbeat about her discussions. The girl that serves breakfast was also very kind. The room was recently redone. Nothing special, but very clean. Clean sheets and bedding, trust me I'm a bit of a germaphobe. Bathroom was clean. Now for my dislikes. The room that serves breakfast is only open 6am-10am. For me that's fine. But in the evening if you want a drink you better have cash for a vending machine, the room to where breakfast is served isn't accessible outside of those times. It would of been nice to access the juice or coffee. Next, I know it's April, but it's been particularly warm. The day I was there it was 85 degrees outside. The pool is outside and is still covered. It would of been nice if it was ready for use on these hot days. Honestly, they should think about enclosing the pool and attaching it to the main building. They lost about 20 other rooms rentals that day because parents on the team I coach and my sons soccer team wanted an indoor pool. Overall, it's decent priced, clean, comfortable, and is located very close to the nearest interstate. I would stay here again if we enter that soccer tournament again next year.

Friendly and helpful staff...rooms clean, breakfast very good and always feel welcome will come back again and again. Checked in late and we were given a crib for our baby with no charge. We had a clean room, but the gem of our stay was Keysha in the breakfast room. She greeted us with a warm smile, and was beyond helpful. We even saw past guests come back just to say hello to her. Dillon at the desk was tremendous upon our check out. Overall this was a fantastic experience staying here. Great staff, a bright and clean space. We will surely be back!

This is a review I never expected to write. Then again, we never expected the vehicle we were riding in would lose its exhaust system while traveling down the New Jersey Turnpike. Despite this rather extremely stressful turn of events, and never have ever even heard of Thorofare, New Jersey, we were a bit concerned about what we might facing in terms of our accommodations upon our unexpected arrival at this property. Boy, were we wrong. To our utter delight, we were greeted at the front desk by Justine, a person who should be a model for anyone in the hospitality industry. Delightful as she could be, Justine assisted us in every way possible, helped us obtain a late night meal from a late night restaurant, and even opened the hotel cafe for us so that we would not have to eat our delivered meal in our room. She understood how stressful our experience had been and did everything possible in order to make sure that we were comfortable. The next morning, Dillion at the front desk, was obviously trained by the same Manager that had trained Justine. A charming gentlemen, he went so far as to help with holding on to my toy poodle Coco while I attended to managing luggage issues even giving me an opportunity to eat a quick breakfast. Customer service at its best. The hotel itself was exceptional for a property of its rating. My room was clean, comfortable and appeared to have been recently renovated. It was actually very nice, and I am extremely critical about the hotels that I typically stay in. Free Wifi and a large flat screen television in the room with a wide channel selection was a plus. Another bonus was the delicious free breakfast offered at the hotel in the morning. It was quite a breakfast spread and the attendant assisting in the cafe (I wish I remembered her name to give her a shout out) could not have been more friendly or helpful. I am not sure that I have ever stayed at a Best Western Hotel before, but I can assure you, this one is awfully nice. I would think this property is the "Four Seasons" or top of the game for the Best Western chain because they could not have done anything better. Congratulations to the owners, entire staff, and especially, Justine and Dillon. Enjoy your stay at this lovely property!

Breakfast Bar was kept full with plenty of options and the Wifi worked well throughout the hotel. Good price for a no frills hotel. I was pleased with the bang for my buck. The bed were okay at best, but they were clean. The hotel overall gets the job done and was accomodating as a whole.

Taking advantage of a BW reward coupon, we stayed here one night on a trip back east. The layout is sort of odd and we ended up parking in the back lot thinking it was the entrance and lobby. No matter, we found the desk and Justine and Kristen had us checked in and on the way to our room. Two very friendly, professional ladies with smiles in abundance! Our room was on the upper floor as requested and it turned out that the elevator was very close to where we had parked. The room was large with a king bed that was very comfortable. The room was clean and everything worked without any issues. The bath area, also very clean, functioned properly and had plenty of room. Breakfast the next morning (served until 10 AM so we came down later than most) was good with enough warm food still on the line. We were the only couple there for a while until the Assistant General Manager walked through and stopped to chat with us. Mike is a local from NJ, as is my wife, so they had lots of stories to exchange. After breakfast we talked with Mike again during check out. Very likeable man with a great personality. This is a very nice property and I highly recommend it if you happen to be staying in this area of South Jersey.

We enjoyed our stay here. Service was good, but housekeeping could improve. Poop remnamts were in the toilet and what appeared to be a ball of earwax was on the wall. Also, turkey meat options could be available for non pork eaters.

This hotel exceeded our needs in many ways. From the booking experience through checkout, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the water hot, and the location convenient. We needed a very late check in and that was not an issue - we were offered a late checkout when we booked since we were checking in so late. The only thing that came up was the TV remote was not working. Could have been dead batteries - not a deal breaker though. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again!

This hotel was just great. It is right off I 295 in an isolated area but the place is wonderful. There is not a lot to do within walking distance but plenty of places to eat and a cute town within a short driving distance. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the towels were soft and fluffy. It had the best free breakfast we have ever had anywhere. The lady that takes care of the breakfast area was just wonderful. She kept everything clean and well stocked and was extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I ended up here after a hotel in Philadelphia messed up my reservation and was going to raise my rate over $100 for the next night. Thanks go Google maps, it is a quick 15-20 min trip outside the city and was $150 less expensive. That is money that can go to a great meal at City Tavern. Customer service was impressive. Dillon quickly checked me in late at night after a long day of playing tourist. The woman in the breakfast room the next morning was just incredible. Whoever hires and trains this team should be applauded. Don't be afraid to go outside the city. The difference in value is considerable.

no problems... bathroom was nice, the bed was comfortable... climate control (FINALLY< SOMEONE used their imagination and places a type of shelf over the AC/heater so when it turns on, the air doesn't blow up the curtains!)... only one pet peeve was that there wasn't enough towels.. granted I could have called the front desk etc etc .. but I don't know if its policy to place enough towels for a (1) person in a king room or queen room... it does become a nuisance to jump in the shower and realize.. oops, not enough towels...

The overall stay at the hotel was good. However, there was not enough wash cloths to accommodate guest and they gave us hand towels, which were hard and rough on my skin. If there was complimentary breakfast, there was not sign or indication of it.

I stayed here for two nights. Hotel was very quiet. The room was very clean. It is not a high end hotel but it is a very nice Best Western. Breakfast was hot but average. But I just wanted grab-and-go food. Internet was excellent. I used the computers in the lobby to print a couple 6 page documents. It worked fine. I was exhausted when I arrived and well-rested when I left. Hotel was convenient and affordable - about $100 per night. What else could I want?

Great hotel. We were lost on our travels and very tired. We knew nothing about the hotel or even what town we were in. The staff was so helpful and caring from our arrival to our departure. We were very satisfied.

I've been in town preparing my home for sale and have been here for an extended stay of three weeks. This has been such a pleasurable experience. Everyone here seems to truly enjoy their job. The smiles are genuine, as you are greeted by name. The rooms are very quiet and generous in size, clean of course. The breakfast buffet is available until 10:00, unlike other hotels that close by 9:00. The fresh baked cookies every afternoon are a treat not to be missed! As I used to live a couple of miles away, I was always aware that this hotel was nearby, but never did I expect it to be such an exceptional experience. Pride of ownership shows!

Since We had business close to Philadelphia, and a extra day we decided to see some sights. Best Western Philadelphia South is a great start, your walking distance to all the historical places of interest and there are lots of great taverns and restaurants. Room was clean and roomy enough, high ceilings give it a much bigger feel. The breakfast was a nice start to our day, tasty too.

The staff was courteous, pleasant, and knows the definition of hospitality. The facility and grounds are well maintained the rooms were clean and nice. And they have a real breakfast bar, not just the Continental breakfast stuff, there were real eggs and breakfast meats it was awesome and delicious.

We spent one night here to attend a wedding in downtown Philadelphia. (It was a lot cheaper than hotels nearer the wedding venue.) Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable, the included breakfast decent. We'd stay there again in similar circumstances.

We needed an overnight in this area for a family reunion we were attending and the reviews on available hotels in the area convinced us that this was probably a good choise. And it was. Justine at the front desk is a gem, her bubbly personality set the right tone for our stay. Our large room was well appointed and everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and relaxing. I was grateful for the laundry, as a can of suntan lotion had exploded in our luggage on the long flight in. We enjoyed the generous breakfast buffet before we checked out. When we return to the area for future family affairs, this will be our go to place.

If you are looking for a place to stay for either leisure or business and are trying to save money, expreience great service, amenetities and services included and comfortable clean rooms - This Best Western is it. Yes things are slightly dated and fresh updated could be needed, but knowing how picky and annoying clean I am - I had no reservation. It was comforting to know that the customer service and quality and value of this accommodation worked out. Everything was booked or looked very dodgy/sketch - if I would stay here again.

Very run-down appearance. We wanted a double room. Our first room had a strong odor. Asked to change. Second room had a broken A/C. Again change. Third time things seemed ok. Breakfast quality has gone down. The carpets in the hallway don't look like they know what carpet shampoo is. I have been a long time BW user and have come to expect a higher level of quality than this. Staff was helpful in resolving room issues but the infrastructure itself needs improvement.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Dylan and Kristin at the front desk were very nice and tentative. Kristin answered all my questions and took the time to look up direction for us. Kristin and Dylan even kept calm when another guest came to the front desk and argued with them. We will definitely be staying with the Best Western West Deptford Inn again. I've stayed at motel/hotels before but never has one rated off the charts as this one did. The best service, breakfast, comfort everything. You can not go wrong staying here! I was in Philly for the convention as a protestor. I stayed 2 nights and they were very respectful of why I was there. I would definatly stay again if I am ever in the area.

We came to a wedding. We checked in and were assigned a room. By the time we went to the car and got out baggage our room had been changed and we were put beside the married couple. They hadn't realized we were with them when we checked in. Everyone there was extremely thoughtful, polite and friendly.

The room was spacious and cool. The bed was comfy and cozy. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of food offered at breakfast. The vending machines are not centralized. Instead they are located at opposite ends of the building. Next time I'm in the area, I won't have to search for a room...because I'll be staying here!

The service was great and the breakfast room staff was very helpful and friendly. However, there aren't that many guests staying and the beds weren't very comfortable. We were on our way to NYC so we decided to stay a night there. A convenient location, I guess. They offered free bottle water and cookies.

Downtown hotel prices are higher and often charge for parking so I chose this hotel across the river from the airport area. My daughter drove down from New York to meet me so we had transportation to the older style brick building in Thoroughfare, N.J. next door to a warehouse of some sort. The interior was dark; our room was spacious; there was a swimming pool we didn't have time to use, and a large breakfast room operated by a cheerful staff. We had to drive to a nearby town to find a place to eat dinner, and it was a bit of a drive to Philadelphia to sightsee.

We stay here every time we come to visit family in the area. For over five years, it has been consistently clean, well-taken care of, and convenient. We often reserve multiple rooms, and the staff is happy to place us all close together.

As I said earlier i was very pleased with the quality of staff, how helpful, happy they all were to make our trip experience a great one, i was very impressed and rather surprised to see this level of care in staff. Very good experience. great group of staff, who went above and beyond. Best Western should use this hotel as a model for all because we have travelled in past and this was so great it really should be shared.

Our travel soccer league takes us to many places that requires a hotel stay. We have stayed in pretty dingy and horrible hotels. I was quite nervous on booking our families in this hotel. I must say we were all pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and the comfortable atmosphere of the hotel.

The hotel was clean. The employees super friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great. Would recommend it to anyone. My mom needed a blanket about 10:30 at night and they got one and brought it to the room very quickly.

We stay at this hotel every year my daughter does a bowling tournment in Maple Shade. The hotel is 20 minutes away from bowling alley but i would not stay anywhere else. The staff is so friendly, the hotel is very clean and the breakfast in the morning is good

This is the second year we stayed at this property for an annual event nearby. The furnishings in the rooms and lobby have been upgraded since last year. Gluten free options at the included breakfast were still available. Staff was friendly and helpful. We'll be back next year.

Our baseball team stayed for a tournament. All staff was friendly but the front desk staff was extremely helpful with directions and local attractions. Everything was clean and breakfast was included. There was an out door pool and we played games without a problem.

Our daughter lives in Philly. Whenever we visit her, we stay at this hotel The reason? Cost AND the very nice staff ! We could stay in the city but would pay a much higher rate plus pay for parking and contend with city noises. This Best Western is about 20-25 minutes outside of Philly and totally worth the drive. Nice breakfast,,free parking and a very pleasant and professional staff keep us going back all the time.

We don't stay too often at Best Western's but after this visit we'll have to try them more. The hotel, for being an older building, was very well maintained. The room was quiet (the AC was a little loud but not too bad), the TV worked fine, wireless was great, the size of the room was perfect. We didn't feel closed in. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, it was good and I did like that they had almond milk as an non-dairy alternative to 2% and skim milk. Plenty of parking. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I were traveling to NYC and needed to break the trip. We looked for a hotel along the I-295 corridor that is close enough to NYC but not quite there. We looked around and found that this hotel had availability. We checked in and pleasantly surprised that a hotel in the middle of nowhere had such good exterior and interior decor and the staff was very friendly. Check it out when you're in the neighborhood.

Very friendly staff, and highly efficient. Nice property about 15 minutes outside of downtown Philly. Would highly recommend staying here versus the tremendously high prices charged by the downtown Philadelphia hotels!! Great value considering the proximity to Philly!!

While not as ultra-modern as some other chains, this hotel was quiet, immaculately clean, and the staff were fantastic. From the parking lot landscaping to the bathrooms, you can tell the owners care a lot about their hotel and take pride in it. No clock-punchers here. Only 15 mins from Philadelphia but surrounded by farmland and light office parks, it's convenient and very quiet.

The staff, especially Dillon and Justine went out of their way to answer all our odd ball questions about places to go and things to do. The continental breakfast was excellent. Rooms were quiet and very clean.

Check in was quick and the staff during the entire stay were some of the best ever! Helpful, friendly service. The room was very nice, bed comfortable, clean etc... No noise was heard during the night...breakfast was very good with lots of selections. The airport was just 20 min away and so was Philadelphia for sightseeing. Eastern State correctional was #1 along with eating a cheesesteak at Pat's.. Red Bank National park in Thorofare was a great surprise...loved it. Great trip.

Stayed at this hotel with our girls basketball team. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond expectations with their customer service. They were helpful in findings points of interest in the area and recommending great places to catch meal. Would highly recommend this hotel if in the area. It was close to all main highways and local areas. Very convenient to get to any type of store you may need for your trip.

Great value with clean comfortable bedding and the best complimentary breakfast I have ever had. The people at this location are amazingly friendly and helpful!! Better staff than I have experienced much more expensive hotels. Enjoy

This is a very good place to stay if you are traveling south or north on I295. It is within 2 miles of the exit and get right on I295 without getting lost. There is a Gas station, fast food place and a WaWa were you can get anything you desire.

We stayed one night in March and there were no surprises. The front desk had fresh cookies. When we came back after dinner, they were gone. When I asked about them the desk person went in the back and got some for me. Everything in the room worked properly and the breakfast was good. Upon our departure, the desk staff was very friendly and we felt like our stay was appreciated. The next time we have business in the area, we will stay at the Best Western again.

We were given this hotel by Doug at Smith Funeral Home and we must say that we were extremely pleased. My mother in law had passed away here in Florida and we were having her ashes buried next to my father in law. Doug told us that this hotel was less than 2 miles from the Woodbury Memorial Park and he was correct. What we found amazing was the staff. From the moment we were greeted til the moment we checked out we felt welcomed. Their kindness was so appreciated and they even had us smiling! If we ever need to return this will be our hotel and will be recommending it to everyone!

When you first get there and see it you don't expect much from it. I would not have booked it if there were other options in the close neighborhood. However since I could not find anything close I decided to go ahead and stay there. I was pleasantly surprised. What a wonderful and helpful staff and clean facility. The rooms were big, nice modern LCD TV screen, lots of parking and an outstanding breakfast. Bathrooms are clean as well and there are plenty of towels. Overall I will stay there again next time I am in the area.

From the outside the hotel looks dated but from the lobby to the room you will be amazed at the modern new feel. The renovation updated the hotel and the friendly staff just added to the enjoyable stay. We had a king room, #221, on the second floor which was comfortable and quiet. Carpeting, furniture and bath area looked new and extremely clean. The bed was comfortable with four pillows overlooking a LG 32" flat screen TV.. Complementary breakfast includes Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bagels, fruit and donuts. Coffee was hot and great tasting and so was the orange juice. Our room had a work station with hp LaserJet printer.

Me and several coworkers were working in the area. They were able to accommodate all 10 of us in 10 separate rooms. Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. I like the keurig coffee machine in the lobby, very nice touch. Rooms were clean and spacious.

As the title indicates, this motel was very clean and bed was comfortable (and I am very particular about bed comfort). Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there to attend a local funeral and the staff volunteered that they had a special bereavement rate which was helpful for others coming in from out of town. Decor was a bit dated but overall a good place to stay.

Taking my son to a wrestling tournament. Stayed here because of the good reviews. I was not disappointed. The staff are VERY friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay very much. All the staff were warm and friendly and wished my son well at the tournament. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I needed a last minute room so that i wouldn't have to drive back/forth to a theatre festival. The room was terrific; kingsize bed was comfortable; fan for the hvac system was loud but didn't prevent sleep; staff was friendly and accommodating (forgot my toothbrush; overstayed by 30 minutes) .. in short .. a lovely stay

This place was clean and the staff were very attentive. They even called my room to make sure I was happy with everything. There were coffee and cookies in the lobby which we enjoyed. The breakfast was also very good. For the money paid, it is a great place to stay!

I made the mistake of switching to a different hotel this year instead of staying at my regular Best Western. The other hotel which is a larger chain/brand, was not clean, it didn't smell fresh, beds were terrible, sheets were beaded up from being worn. I checked out a day early. I immediately called Best Western and I was treated with excellent customer service. My hotel room was clean, my sheets were clean, and my bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast and service was excellent as usual. I would highly recommend staying at Best Western when in West Debtford, NJ. I won't make the mistake of going somewhere else again. Thanks to the wonderful staff and management for caring and being professional.

Overall, very satisfied with this hotel. Great staff, nice room, good breakfast, all necessary amenities. I was with a group of students and experienced a friendly welcome for all. The students were very satisfied as well.

We were coming from out of town and got "lost" I called the hotel and was given step by step directions. They took us right to the front door. As we were registering we mentioned a place we were going to for a fundraiser. Before we were finished, the young lady at the front desk had printed out directions for us. From the manager down to the staff everyone was nice and friendly. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was delicious.I would highly recommend this hotel for everyone!

The employees are super nice and helpful. The room was clean and warm when we got there. The free breakfast was really good and eating area was clean. I will definitely be staying there again the next time we go visit our family in New Jersey.

I had a horrible experience at this hotel many years ago and vowed never to come back. But, that was a long time ago, and I had business in the area. Reviews seemed to indicate that this place has improved, so I gave it a shot. Room price was very reasonable. The property has been renovated in the last couple of years. If you look very closely, you can still see some of the hotel's old bones, but it is maintained very well. My room was spotless, as were the hallways and common areas. The buffet breakfast was above average and offered a wide selection of options. I'm not sure, but the scrambled eggs and bacon tasted like they had actually been fried on a stove, and not microwaved like most hotels. Every staff member I encountered was smiling and very friendly, from the front desk clerks, to the housekeepers, to the person running the breakfast room. This place has been completely turned around, and I will be back.

Hotel met all my needs for the stay. The breakfast was excellent Bed comfortable and the rooms were in a quiet area. Very easy to access the hotel. Several good restaurants near by. Plenty of parking and easy access to Interstate 295

On our way back from a road trip to visit relatives. This was a nice stop, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was a notch above the standard "hot breakfast included" fare. Staff friendly, courteous and helpful.

The check in staff was friendly, The rooms were fairly modern, and clean. The breakfast had quite a good selection, as well as the food was hot. The staff in the breakfast was extremely friendly. This facility makes you feel right at home while it is a hotel.

I literally can not understand why this place costs $100 a night. There are many other local hotels (Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn in Swedesboro, or, though a bit farther than I'd like, Wyndham in Mount Laurel), that go for 70-85 a night. Those places have a better breakfast, more amenities and are much nicer. This hotel is ok, but it is in West Deptford, not Cherry Hill. There is just nothing special about it. I stay here because my mom lives 2 miles away. I am guess it has something to do with demand...it is RIGHT off 295. Don't get me wrong, it is not terrible...it's fine, but it is simply nothing special...there is no pool, no hot tub, the workout room is mediocre, and the breakfast is eh. Again, not a bad place, but definitely not worth the money.

I couldn't of picked a better Hotel. Totally satisfied and will go back to visit the staff . I stayed for over 3 months and everyone made me feel like family. The rooms are up to date, clean and quiet, the beds were brand new. Super friendly desk staff.

This is an exceptional Best Western. Bathrooms are newly-renovated with upscale fixtures. Carpets, furniture, and mattresses seem new. The level of esprit-de-corps and helpfulness among the staffers is extraordinary.

My wife and I had to seek lodging this past June after a devastating storm hit our area. We called the Best Western and booked 3 days. They were so accommodating to all and it was incredibly clean. Since it is only about a 7 minute drive from our house, we have used it as a destination for overflow relatives and friends who visit and all have been equally pleased. It is right off 295 you can be in South Philadelphia in 10 minutes

I had a great stay here. Super clean room, very friendly staff, great location, and the price was really good. CDL holders, be sure to ask about their CDL discount! It brought the price down a good amount. I would definitely come here again.

At the end of our cross-country trip, we stayed two nights to visit Philadelphia. Clean room and very quiet. Front desk staff very pleasant and very helpful with directions. Breakfast was good and included.

When in the S. Jersey/Philadelphia area be sure to stay at the Best Western in West Depford! Justine made our stay absolutely fantastic with over the top customer service. The entire staff from maintenance to upper management was absolutely outstanding. This Best Western should be the blue print for how other hotel chains run their customer service program. The entire staff can be described with the following - warm, inviting, extremely professional, facilitating, well groomed, honest, well spoken and polite. When you want to go to Philadelphia stay here This hotel is a nice place to stay The people here are great. From the time we arrived till we left we had a great time. The breakfast was good food was hot and fresh nice variety eggs ,sausage, hash browns waffles .Rooms were nice clean . We will be back.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Convenient location, clean, up to date rooms, full breakfast, pet friendly, exceptional staff. Simply perfect. We will be back...This will be our home away from home when visiting our family in the area!

Just off the highway in Thorofare, I have stayed here quite a few times with business trips in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet helps me get ready to face the day.

Nice hotel, staff was very friendly. Clean and quiet rooms..Loved the full breakfast which was delish! Lots of choices, fruit with yogurt, eggs, potatoes, sausage and an awesome belgium waffle bar with lots of toppings! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Right off the Rt 295 exit. Room was very spacious. Two full beds, room for family of four. Bathroom was up to date. Very Clean and I do check corners. TV remote was a "clean remote" The free breakfast included everything. In the lobby was two computers you could use and Free coffee at any time of the day(pod type not pot) Free internet. The only trouble I had was that a tub hand rail was on the wrong side, which I reported. The rail was on the water side instead of the way you get into tub. Heat register fan was fairly quiet. Employees were very friendly and helpful. great place to stop to sleep when you are traveling.

I stayed here for a soccer tournament. I had to be out out early in the AM, before breakfast was "officially" served, but the hotel had hot food out for us - a nice touch. The room was clean and comfortable. The biggest negative would be that the shower could have used a bit more water-flow, but that's nit-picking. Definitely a nice hotel.

The manager was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the free breakfast was good. The location is perfect for visiting Philadelphia, and we will definitely stay there the next time we visit.

I was looking for a place to be able to work quietly, get to friends in South Jersey and Philadelphia quickly and conveniently, have a decent breakfast and dinner choices nearby, and get a workout in every once in a while. The BW West Deptford fit the bill very nicely. Friendly staff who were happy to answer questions, a spacious room with refrigerator and coffee maker and available free Internet, a small but usable exercise room (and pool in the summer), right next to I-295 but nicely screened from it. It was comfortable, reasonably-priced, and well-located. I would go back next time I need to be down that way.

Although the directions might appear to be confusing, the hotel is VERY easy to get to from I-295. A detailed map of the area was provided on check-in making it very easy to find location(s) being visited - and return directions. Staff were extremely nice and helpful.

This hotel was verry convient to where I had to be every moring. The breakfast was fine. The room was clean and comfortable. All special requests were granted. The only problem that I had was that my lap top would not hook up with the internet. I didn't fint this out until midnight. The person at the desk had to change something in my computer- their IP address. Which messed my computer when I took it home. This has never happened at any of the othere hotel that Ihave stayed in. Including other Best Western's.

When I called to make the reservation my impression was that it was a customer service friendly hotel ( the reservation person was wonderful) but two issues caused me to reconsider- No follow up with the requested wake up call ( which could have been disastrous had we not set a second alarm) and having to find staff to check us in. The hotel is clean , bed was confortable, breakfast was decent

Attended a nearby family event and found this hotel was a nice place to rest. Clean ,quiet and convenient with a very nice staff. The free hot breakfast was an added bonus. Nice layout of the building ,had an outdoor pool and gym.

Although this seemed like an older property, it was in a quiet neighborhood, right off the freeway. The staff was exceptional and made up for the decor. The rooms were definitely clean, comfortable and great for my business stay. The breakfast was fresh and to my satisfaction. It seemed like a safe neighborhood, as well. The pool area seemed nice, but the workout room was very simple. I would definitely stay here again. Make sure to say hello to the staff, because they absolutely brightened my day!

Stayed here during the made in America festival(9/5-9/6). Was 20 mins away from the festival and 20 mins away from the mall. Staff was very friendly and check in and check out were east. Free breakfast as well. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I really like the people and the quality of service. They made me feel like we were long lost friends. At the same time they give you enough space to enjoy yourself and still not feel like they're looking over your shoulders.

Okay these are really nice ppl don't get me wrong but this place is in need of a HUGE renovation! The place will remind you of the early nineties! If I were you I'd spend a few extra dollars and upgrade your hotel experience. You will thank me! Just sayin...
