"Worst customer service ever!"

They tell you to try getting on the wi-fi from the hotel next door because you can get on theirs. First night the alarm clock in the next room went off at midnight for a 1/2 hour straight. We changed rooms but it was put in the system incorrectly. Front desk called at 2am asking who was in this room? We checked out a day early due to covid and didn't get refunded until I contacted BW main customer service#. I left an item in the room. I called hotel 3x before anyone confirmed it was even there. Nobody called me back even though each person said they'd check and call me back. I was told it was found right away yet nobody called me. Had they called immediately, we could've turned around and gone back to get it. I tried to arrange shipping with manager multiple times by phone and email. Every time I called I was told the manager was not there, just left, etc. BW main customer service said they cannot make hotel mgr contact me. After 27 days of no response, I had to drive from 2 states away just to get my item back!

The front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious and modern! The complimentary breakfast was a little lacklustre; but, other than that it was a really enjoyable stay.

This building could be amazing if maintained but our experience was challenging. We arrived after calling to confirm our room had a sofa bed because there were three of us in a king size. They saitd us that was the case but we arrived and it was a king bed with a table and chairs. They said it was first come first serve and there were no rooms with sofas however were walked past one that had an open door and was not yet clean. I went back down and asked and the manager send that he could not give that room to us because they were full. I I asked for clarification reminding him that he said it was first come first sir and he said he would not give us the room. He did give us extra pillows for our daughter to sleep on the floor. In the morning when we were getting ready in the bathroom please started here a crackling noise and move smell something burning and noticed there was smoke coming from behind the mirror. We turned it off and immediately it will record it with you they said they would send maintenance when he arrived but if no one ever came. Running from breakfast, I stopped on the rubber mat in front of the elevator and it slid out from under me and hyper extended my leg. A staff member witnessed it and told me to be careful but just straighten the mat and went on. The pool is under construction but that is not mentioned anywhere on the website or when you check in. They are severely understaffed.

"Solid budget choice"

This hotel served our purposes very well. Parking was easy, check-in and out was seamless, the space and room were updated and clean, bed was very comfortable, water was hot, room temp was easy to control and A/C was quiet, and the room had the listed amenities. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, with decent variety and both cold and hot food options (as long as you don't show up in the last 20 minutes, when things understandably start to run out). They don't do daily towel/cleaning service, but that is stated up front and we don't need it. The pool was still not open, so if that matters to you (didn't to us), call first to confirm. The wifi was a bit shaky; don't expect to be able to stream video, but it worked for email and some web searches for us. Also, for some reason the room key stopped working well before checkout time; not sure if a glitch or programming error on the lock. You're also a bit at the mercy of those around you, sound-wise. If you can, get a room away from the elevator, which has a jarringly loud chime. Those down-sides were minimal overall, and I've had worse at more expensive places. For the price, overall this was a great stay, and we would recommend it to anyone not put out by the minor down-sides.

"Nice Hotel with Wonderful Staff"

My daughter and I chose this hotel for the price and proximity to the venue we were going to. As always, when booking online, you really aren't sure what you will actually get. We were very happy with our choice. I was greeted with a smile by Chetta at the front desk. She was friendly and seemed happy to be there. Our room was nice and looked like it was in the pictures I had seen online. At first we were a little worried at seeing a couple of wet spots on the floor, which wasn't carpet, but realized that it was left over from being mopped recently. This realization made me happy as I knew we were in a room that was as clean as it could be. The room had a recently renovated feel/smell to it, but it didn't bother us. It was nice and suited our needs. The breakfast in the morning was your typical hotel morning breakfast with eggs, sausage, pastries, a waffle maker, etc. They things about this hotel that made it so fabulous was the staff. While most of my interactions were with Chetta, I did have a couple with other staff and everyone was nice and friendly. If I'm up in the area again, I would definitely stay at this location again.

This hotel is really new it's only been open since Dec. 2021. The pool was closed. The breakfast was good except for sausage it looked white & turkey bacon no real bacon they weren't cooked right. But rooms were very modern and bed was very comfortable. But you only get clean up every so many days.

We have been staying at Best Western hotels for quite some time, but this was an unexpected disappointment. Travelling with a baby, we hoped to get a clean room in this new facility. However, there were stains and hair all over the bed sheets, pillows and in the bathroom. The floor clearly hadn't been swiped. The employee at the check-in confirmed the room wasn't OK and offered a direct refund. However, we didn't get any refund. The payment wasn't cancelled and we paid 180$ for a room we couldn't even use. This is just unacceptable.

Absolutely wonderful, new and cleaned hotel. I will be booking this hotel again and for future trips to Chicago. The location is excellent to my nearby family. There was a small delay in getting into our rooms, only due to lack of housekeeping personnel's. My overall experience was grand. The rooms were clean and superb. The whole building smelled cleaned. Marcel thanks so much for taking good care of us!

Best Western Plus South Holland, Chicago, IL is a clean, low budget hotel where the staff is professional and friendly. Currently, the hotel's internet needs improvement so be sure to investigate if the internet issues have been resolved before booking your stay. Also, although guests are not allowed to smoke in the rooms, I could smell cigarette smoke in the hallway late at night.

This hotel is newly built and opened in December! Super clean to the hilt! Rooms are so nice and beds are super comfy! Staff is awesome! Marcel, the manager is the host with the most!! Excellent rate as well when other hotels are charging through the roof! Thank you for staying affordable. We appreciate you!!

We stayed here for a night to be near Chicago. Me, my husband and my two toddlers had an excellent time! Marcel was at the desk, and helped us with everything we needed! He was friendly, honest, and professional. The whole hotel looks like it's had a recent update, it's very clean and nice. The room was spotless and comfy. The food was great. The workout room was awesome. Honestly, no complaints. Stay here!!

Lukewarm shower water. Broken elevator. No wash clothes or hand towels in the room. 3 conditioners but no shampoo. Disappointing breakfast- even with Covid restrictions. Several other hotels at the same exit.

My stay exceeded the expectation. I actually looked at reviews from other locations and was afraid this would be the same. Boy was I surprised. The staff was great. It was quiet and clean. When I arrived the room's heat was not working and the refrigerator was not working. The young man addressed my concerns right away and switched my room. I wish I could remember his name. He was so nice and respectable. My check-out was very smooth with the young lady also. She was very professional.
