Je m’inscris Beware of using the Best Western buy now and save program, the corporate program will put a hold on your funds and then when you reach the hotel they will put an additional hold on your funds. All of my spending money was held by Best Western until the day before I left. I saved long and hard for this vacation and it really sucks that the double holds held up all of my saved vacation money
Best Western Roanoke,Texas. The power went out Saturday night . For several hours I had no power for my CPAP machine. Beware, this Hotel does Not have any backup generator. Or at least it did not work if they do. And they do not clean your room or make your bed (like hotels usually do)!
Rooms were clean , bed was little lumpy ! But we were able to get some rest after a very long day on 1-35 breakfast was terrible!!
There is mold on shower head and around the tub, the faucet was pulled off the wall and had mold on it. There was dried up vomit on the wall. Was told no refund due to booking online. I will never stay there Again!
good hotel cheap and clean. good location too, and very quiet. breakfast wasn't the best. waffle was the best food option. check in and check out was fast and had no issues. wish they had a shampoo and conditioner. they only had shampoo
As a leg amputee I requested an accessible room. I got a room with a tub shower which I could not use and was told nothing else was available. The in room coffee was stale and the sugar and creamer packets were rock solid. The shower faucet dripped 24/7. There was no clean up, replenishment and towel service provided for our 2nd day stay. TV remote didn't work right, probably. I consider this facility to be minemally ADA complient. I was also charged $21 more than the reservation price I was quoted by the BW online reservation service.
The pull out bed didn't come with any bedding. I went to ask for bedding and they didn't have a fitted sheet. The comforter was full of stains and didn't appear to be washed. He swapped it out after I went back down to show him. He gave me a new one but placed the stained one back in the closet. The water doesn't get hot. Bulbs weren't working to turn the light on next to the bed. We were only given two towels. The pillows were falling apart and had knots tied in the pillow case just to keep the pillow from falling out. This place does the bare minimum. The breakfast is decent even though we still had an hour and a half left and nothing was restocked. Not bad if you just need a place to sleep but I wouldn't recommend.
First room had flooding bathroom. Second room had moldy smell from A/C and bathroom floor was dirty. Stains all over the tiles in bathroom and smelled. Bed was made and carpet ok but smell and bathroom cleanliness was poor. No adjustment in price for lower class room provided with problems also.
We stayed two nights while in Fort Worth to see the concert. Breakfast left us wanting more variety and quantity. Only one yogurt left and coffee was very weak one of the two mornings. Coffee in our room was no better. Bathroom was a let-down as we were hoping for one of those large showers. Our bathroom had a high-pitched noise coming from what was best determined to be the plumbing. The saving grace was that with the bathroom door closed you really couldn't hear it. Have stayed at better Best Western's.
This Best Western was clean and smelled good. However, not having a working toilet for multiple hours is unacceptable. When reported, the staff member only asked me when I was checking out and that housekeeping arrived in a couple hours. Which meant there was no help as water poured out of toilet all over the bathroom into the room for hours. I still needed to shower and use the bathroom but had to wait.
We are BW members, seek out BW when we travel but based on the experience we had with the desk manager and corporate customer service response, we will not be staying at BW any longer. Our flight was cancelled by southwest and I called immediately to let BW know that we would arrive a day late because SW nor other airlines could get us out that night. He was rude, didn't give me the time of day, didn't even fake an apology or empathy for what I was going through. I called customer service and they said I had to only go through the actual hotel because it is up to them to decide to be nice and goodwill us the night. We are frequent guests of that hotel for business and the guy couldn't care less. He barely speaks to you at check in and acts as if we should be thanking him for staying there. BW should review who manages their properties because it reflects on their whole brand which I am now sour.
Service is horrible. The pool is a green cess-pool with furniture thrown in. The water or water heater screams loudly all day and night. It was nearly impossible to sleep. When I needed items because the staff didn't prepare the room properly I was told to come get them myself. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told one would call within an hour. That was yesterday. Still waiting. No one cleaned the room today. No offer of clean towels. And breakfast was disgusting also. I don't usually care for BW, but wanted an outdoor hot tub. Guess what? The photo used for advertising is not a photo of this place. No hot tub and green pool. I took a video of the horrible noise related to the water system but can't upload it here. Stay elsewhere!
I was impressed by this hotel. It was very nice & clean inside & out. The beds were very comfortable. Employees.... not impressed, not courteous. The breakfast..... not impressed. Two mornings in a row not enough food left. What was left was cold. I had to ask for someone to make more. The "cook" made more but did not turn the heating element on to keep the food warm. I did that.
Close to everything in Roanoke, Texas. I was able to practically walk to shops, restaurants, etc. I was able to eat breakfast right there at the hotel. The food was nice and warm, friendly staff, different/varied breakfast options. I stay at Best Western in Roanoke, Texas every time I visit my son. It is a great experience every single time...I visited my son in Roanoke 6 times in 2022. I have absolutely no complaints of the hotel or its staff.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This is a horribly run hotel. We reserved for three night and checked out before noon after the second night because it was just a crap hotel. Whoops, they charged me for the third night anyway as its their "policy" of no cancellations. They use the standard policy for cancellations less than 24 hour prior to arrival EVERY night. This was after they told me check out was at noon. Breakfast ends at 9:30, OK, fine but then don't let you finish your coffee. They literally turn off the lights and kick you out of the breakfast room. The beds are concrete, room service was non existent and there was almost no one else staying there. An overall terrible experience. Oh, yeah, they wouldn't give me a receipt because I booked through Expedia. I paid the hotel directly but they hid behind Expedia. Pathetic.
I had reviewed this hotel in the past and our stays there had been impeccable. However, this time it did not worked well. Some maintenance issues - of easy fix - made a big difference - We arrived late at night and the room assigned had a leak in the shower's faucet. I do not mean a small drip, a big amount of water making a lot of noise - We requested a change and we were moved to a second room, this time, the door lock did not work: the room was always open, basically. Key Card was worthless - Finally we were moved to a third room, was OK (the guy told us that was the only room left available, like this was our problem, not theirs). Clean, at least, and everything worked OK - Thank God I read a fellow reviewer post and we brought our pillows. The hotel pillows are worthless. If you can, bring yours, or you neck will tell you the next day. - Breakfast is OK. A toast or cereal with coffee to hit the road. They have eggs and sausage, but they look horrible. Sorry about that - We left very early, and when we arrived at night the room had not been cleaned. So we had to ask for clean towels and they were provided. They said "sorry about that" though - Location is great, very quiet, overall, very clean and staff is not friendly but fair. A/C - Heater (it was cold outside) worked OK. Bed was comfortable - One thing that I noticed is that when you turn your room TV on, the default channel is Fox News. And the TV at the breakfast area is showing Fox News all the time. They love Fox News. If you love Fox and Friends and Maria Bartiromo for breakfast, this might be the hotel for you
Stay away from this "4.1 star" hotel. Should only be a 2 star at best. As soon as we had issues we brought them up to the front desk. All they said is that there hands were tied and I would need to contact customer service vie 1-800 number to see if they could alter my reservation as it was through a third party "bestwestern.com". After I did this and it was a complete waste of time, the Manager "owner" was not on site nor reachable via phone or text. By the time we heard back from the front desk, we had already made another reservation at a much better hotel. We didn't go back to finish our remaining 2 days and was at a loss of $350 for that 3 night stay which we only stayed 1 night at.
We live about 75 mins away so we didn't want to drive back home after midnight and figured this budget hotel would be fine to sleep a few hours. As long as you know it is, then it's just fine. Our sink did not have a stopper and the shower dripped/leaked. You also had to make sure the door shut completely to ensure it locks. The ac was nice and cool!
Clean, quiet place to stay. Lots of breakfast items available. Breakfast room was very clean and staff was friendly. Comfortable beds. Not a fan of the small pillows, luckily i brought my own. Very close to lots of great restaurants in Roanoke, TX
Stay at Best Western Roanoke, Texas. It is clean, close to downtown, friendly staff, comfortable bedding, overall excellent service. The hotel is less than a mile from downtown, restaurants, water park, bank, Walmart, and above all, it has an excellent staff willing and able to help you if you need tips about the area, where to find services like clean your car, etc.
There is mold inside of the bathroom, inside of room 210. There was previous water leak which caused the damage, but the mold remains. I let the front desk employee know of the issue and he advised there was nothing he could do. Due to the ice storm, he advised there were no other available rooms and I would not be refunded if I left.
The room was clean and comfortable. There was a great variery for breakfast, including eggs, potatoes, waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, and more! Everything was good, and the staff was friendly. We would stay here again!
Did not live up to best western standards. Breakfast food was cold( eggs, bacon, potatoes) all 3 days, plug in socket coming off wall, noise due to construction that was not revealed on website, rude gentleman at front desk. They were going to turn the water off but I complained and they didn't. Loud drilling started next door at 8:00 am. I was there for a funeral.
If you are looking for an out of the way, clean hotel, this is it. Clean, nice linens. Older furniture. AC below the window. Very very quiet. There is a whataburger at the bottom of the hill. USB port on the side of the TV for your cell phone.
Worth the price. The rooms were very very clean.Interent was excellent. It was close to Kirby's steak house,We bring a fan and never heard any outside noise, Some hotels no matter how clean. Stink due to wee smell. This hotel did NOT . .
200 plus dollars a night. Fridge and microwave didn't work, several outlets didn't work. Reservations were wrong. Pullout couch mattress was stained. Only two towels in room reserved (two people, two days) owner/manager standoffish no help. Very poor experience.
I have stayed here before but the place seems a little run down and not taken care of, will not be returning. There is a funky herbal smell in the hall, the room seems clean but items are old and outdated. The room door gets stuck on the carpet when opened. The breakfast was a disappointment. By 8:30 they were out of hot water, cranberry juice, eggs, sausage, bacon, and nearly bagels and milk. It was not busy either, just me and couple of others. In the 20 min I sat in there, I never saw a worker come in and replace anything. The only hot item was potatoes. Oh, and the coffee was horrible—came out of a push button machine and had suds on the top... The price was $150 a night after tax as well, not like any sort of awesome deal going on here. I'd rather gone a Hilton Garden Inn next time maybe...
First room assigned had a broken sink. Chunks of the wall were missing right near the tub. We requested another room because the water would not drain due to the sink stopper being broken. I stood at the front desk for a while as the associate scrolled facebook on her phone. It took her a minute before she noticed I was there. The second room was in worse condition than the first! There was a huge rip in the sheer curtain, the lamp shade material was undone at the seams and hanging off. All of the lamp shades were a discolored yellow instead of the white they originally were. The light above the desk did not work. The room had a very stale odor. I even discovered a huge dead cockroach by the toilet when I went to shower. We ended up checking out early. The beds were incredibly hard and uncomfortable. When I approached the front desk to check out the associate on shift did not notice me either because she also was on her phone and had headphones on. This location is in desperate need of improvements from staffing professionalism, hotel management to renovation upgrades. The only advantage is that this hotel has a good location.
While it wasn't great, it was average. Needs some good TLC and modernization. The area is nice, has some local food options, not a ton but enough. Right off the highway which makes it convenient. Felt safe in the area and no worries over parking. Quiet area.
My stay here was amazing. My kids and my wife loves our trip. The manger there Amanuel was amazing. He welcomed us very politely. The breakfast was good and their was many food places near that served lunch and dinner. I would totally recommend to stay at this hotel if your ever come near Roanoke tx.
The rooms are small but they were clean. We enjoyed our stay and it was cheaper than Waco. We were also there for the opening of the hot breakfast. It was pouring rain when we arrived but all the rooms were accessible from the main entrance which had an awning to protect from the rain.
This year was very limited with restrictions of Covid. That said, I am finding many hotels are becoming very lax in what they will do and provide anymore. I am a Gold Crown member and can tell which motels are trying and which have resigned themselves to liking the fact they do not need to service the rooms anymore or provide breakfast or other services normally offered as an incentive to stay there. This property is not business oriented so for me it was not a good stay.
We had a great stay here! The jacuzzi tub was great! We had no issues at all and will be returning soon. The price was great for such a wonderful stay! Its close to many dining places and although we did not use the pool, it looked clean and nice with great decor
A nice property located. Near. D. F. W. Staff nice rooms nice shower good location good. A lot around property. Would return many restaurants nearby. As. Shopping. Andmany. Businesses. Access to. D. F. W. And also highway system
We were charged $220 per night while other guest were only charged $100 per night, The rooms had a musty odor. The bathroom shower curtain was filthy. The telephone did not work. The TV was sub-par. The breakfast was junk. While I understand that due to COVID they did not offer the full breakfast; the "brown bag" was pitiful. Will NOT stay at this hotel again,
I have stayed here numerous time. The staff is friendly. They remember me . The owner is very attentive to his property. The rooms are great. Easy access to the hotel. And great food in town less than 5 minutes away. I would recommend this hotel if you are in the DFW area.
A couple of my family members came down with the flu. I couldn't afford to get sick and miss time from work, so I decided to find a hotel that I could stay in until everyone was better. After a quick search, the Best Western showed inexpensive rates and was only 15 minutes from my home. The hotel rooms are clean the beds are comfortable. The rooms are dated, but the staff told me the hotel is about to have a total makeover. The staff was always friendly. There is a free breakfast served in the mornings - 06:30 thru 09:30. Choices include cereals, breads, sausage, eggs and potatoes. For convenience, I ate breakfast here for two mornings. Be forewarned. The sausage and potatoes are extremely salty. If you are on a low sodium diet, it's best if you go some place else for your morning meal. There are numerous restaurants located close by, so you don't have to worry about easy access to food.
Enjoyed our stay when we were looking for a new home. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy to find and in a great location. Highly recommend this hotel if you are needing one in there area of town.
BW hotel was convenient to highway, clean rooms and good value. We had a small blip in rooms ( someone was in ours) but management corrected it quickly and walked us to our room personally. Breakfast had a good assortment in the morning with good coffee, though basic (appreciated though and family friendly). Overall a pleasant stay, quiet room and helpful staff.
Our room had several problems. The TV was disconnected, The manager did come to the room and reconnected it. There was no clock radio, paper, pencil., The light bulbs were low voltage. We had a strange odor in our room which we noticed during the night. We were on the third floor which we requested-the manage seemed to indicate that might have been the problem. We checked out a day early. The manager did give us a discount for the trouble. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is in a quiet location. The breakfast was average. Watch out for the pot hole at the end of the street.
I was traveling and my husband booked the hotel for me. We checked in late and just wanted to get to the room. There was an odd smell that I couldn't put my finger on- like food but there was not a restaurant in or near the hotel. We get to the room and it is DIRTY (see pictures below). The furniture was old and worn.
This was a great location. Needs a little upkeep but more than sufficient for what we paid. Great downtown area that has really changed in 3 years. Babes is always a hot restaurant to go to for lunch.
We were traveling thru the area on our west. This was great location not to have to go through the downtown Fort We were out West and not want to stay in the downtown Fort Worth area. This location was great. Great stay and a fast get away the next morning.
A true hidden gem in the area !! Wished I could find this kind of luxury for leisure and business every time I am away from home !! The food at breakfast was very good the rooms were clean and the staff was over the top helpful and friendly !!
We selected this hotel, because we had relatives in Keller, Justin, Flower Mound, and Bridgeport. The Best Western was the most centrally located, and it would be easier to make several trips. We knew it was just a small hotel with limited breakfast, etc., but we were looking for location, location. We were pleasantly surprised at this nice, clean hotel. Everything was clean and polished.....extra clean and spotless. The breakfast had cooked eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, waffle maker, cereal, fruit, bagels, green onions, tomatoes, etc. It had coffee, tea, juice, and milk. The breakfast room is quiet and secluded but has everything you need for a good meal. The room was so clean...even had the tv remote in a bag that told you it had been cleaned. The room was an average hotel room, but the bed was comfortable. We had a couch, chair, desk, refrigerator, and microwave. The people at the desk were very friendly...even giving us cold bottled water when we came in. There is plenty of easy parking right outside the front door. There is a vending machine for drinks, and they have a few snacks behind the front desk. We would recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again next time we are in the area.
My family stayed at the Best Western Inn & Suites in Roanoke recently. First time to stay at this location. We were very impressed. Ryan the manager was there when we checked in he was super friendly and got us checked in quickly. Customer service was excellent and the hotel was nice and well kept. Our room was very comfortable and nice. The breakfast was great with a lot of options. The hotel is in a great location but away from the busy road so it was very quiet around the hotel. We will definitely stay there again.
I stay at this hotel when in town for business or leisure. Accessible to restaurants and shopping and not too far from DFW airport or Interstate 35 which is the road to almost everywhere. The staff is always pleasant and the rooms have always been clean with comfortable bedding and enough towels. It must be family owned because it looks like whoever runs it has pride in their business.
Standard rooms, nothing exceptional. Location completely uninteresting. Decoration bland brownish. Small indoor pool filled with overweight guests who even let their dogs in. Small breakfast room offering donuts. How anyone can call this a “ full breakfast” escaped us, we decided to skip it. Our experience, although limited, is that for the discerning traveller Best Western should be avoided. We vividly remembered a terrible hotel in Jasper, Canada.
I was in town over night for the IndyCar race at Texas Motor Speedway and the Best Western was a great place to stay. Staff was friendly. Location was very convenient to the Speedway and nearby restaurants. Room was comfortable and clean. Pool was nice. Plenty of food out for breakfast. Will definitely stay there again if I'm back in town for a race.
The staff was amazing and the room clean and comfortable. The elevator was broken however and no disabled rooms were available so my husband had a hard time getting to our room. Luckily the front desk guy was super nice and helped us.
Very well located between Fort Worth and Denton. The place is very clean, the employees were accommodating, always nice, especially Ryan. The breakfast was just OK. It could be a great hotel, however it needs some renovations.
Elevator was broken, the rooms needed some updates. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The free breakfast was great, they had a good variety that changed daily. The hotel was quiet and the beds are comfortable.
I have stayed here a few times this year. Everytime it is great. They remember me and give great service. From the owner to the manager they are very helpful and do what they can to make your stay as pleasant as they can. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the Fort Worth area.
It was an event weekend and was able to get a room about 3 weeks in advance..... They have a room ready as we arrived around noon.... really like that! rooms were beautiful..... bathroom very clean.... Very pleased with ease in finding hotel and close proximity to the speedway..... resturants within 1-15 minutes......Price very competitive....... Would Highly recommend!
great personalities, willing to help, friendly and very capable of their duties. excellent. cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. great location. very nice looking hotel. rooms are very clean and well set up.
My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel lobby was clean and check-in was a breeze. The room was wonderful and the design with the separate sitting and lounging area with sleeper sofa was great. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are ever in the Roanoke Texas area.
Very professional and curteous staff. Very clean, good breakfast and a great location for several activities. My only complaint is that the walls in our room were way too thin. I could hear one guest almost verbatum by just talking. Plus, this guest was a jabber jaw and kept us up until 1 A.M. Other than that, we loved it!
this is a great hotel and we stay here every time to Texas , very close to Babes chicken restaurant ---if you haven't been there "ya gotta go" the employees there are friendly our manager Ryan was fantastic. the beds were very comfy, close to race track, just a great hotel
I had a great stay! The staff was Friendly, Lots to do around the area! Great places to eat and shop around....that are minutes from the hotel! Quick access to the Hwy.. Would recommend this location!
The location of this hotel was perfect for our needs, only a three minute drive to our destination. We would stay here again but only if I could get a better rate. Positives: close to our destination, safe area off the main drag, fairly large room, relatively clean, quiet (possibly because there were very few guests the weekend we stayed here). Negatives: "old style" motel furniture, not the most comfortable bed, non-adjustable shower that would peel off your skin, coffee not available except when breakfast served, breakfast was blah and not a lot of selection.
Property is relatively new, and although not fancy, it is modern, clean and well furnished. A/C worked well. Bed was comfy. Shower and other plumbing all worked nicely. Breakfast was a little better than average, offering eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal and other items. I would stay here if we visit Roanoke again in the near future.
Stayed here this weekend and it was great for the price! Our king room had a jacuzzi whirlpool tub with mirrors.... great staff, breakfast and easy checkin and out. Would highly recommend you stay here.
I dont know how I can really not like this location so little, but its all the 'little things' that added up to my not wanting to stay here again. The location isnt the greatest....the amenities are poor to nonexistent. I am used to having coffee available in the lobby so I dont have to make coffee in my room, and there was none here, nor was there any water or any other amenity of that sort. The room was a mix of OLD BW furniture and fixtures and new 'polish' on the old place. And then there was the DREADED NESCAFE horrid brown hot liquid dispenser in the breakfast area. DEAR GOD, PLEASE LET THESE HORRID MACHINES DIE THE DEATH THEY DESERVE!!! IT ISNT COFFEE ITS HORRIBLE. .....I didnt eat, either.
The room was Clean room and had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. There was a great breakfast with “real” sausage, eggs and potatoes. It was also reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again.
If you're gonna stay here, book online, I got a better a deal by booking online (at bw website) at the front desk than the hotel could give me...??? Moving on, the room was so small and overcrowded with furniture that it was hard to move around. The walls in the rooms must be made out of parchment paper because we could hear conversations from the rooms on either side. The beds were super uncomfortable, spent most of the night trying to get comfortable. The bathroom was dirty, the tub was cleaner after showers than when we walked in. Breakfast was a joke, the girl that was supposed to be replenishing items was slow and had to be told when things were empty.. compared to other best western breakfasts, this was pitiful. I understand that they're individually owned, but if you're not going to uphold a standard, then you shouldn't get to keep the best western name.
A little better then average stay, close to where I was looking to relocate. Staff was friendly but did not know the area as well as i would have liked. Breakfast could use more options, and a bigger TV in rooms.
I would choose this hotel again. It was clean, the rooms were very nice. They included great pillows and an extra blank. Breakfast was really good and was keep refinished. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Tired hard to get into and dissatisfied once I got there food quality was poor once I did wake up to breakfast great facility brand new property hard to get a signal cell phone signal also the roads don't have good signals for the GPS
This is the second year I've stayed here while taking part in the local sprint triathlon. The front desk was very welcoming and the check in process was quick. When we explained that we'd like to keep our bikes in our room for security the front desk was very relaxed about it (several other triathletes were doing the same). The rooms are very clean and the property was quiet. It's very easy to get into town and there's easy access on to the local highways. Checkout was easy. My only complaint would be with the air conditioning unit which was very loud so I didn't get a good night's sleep. That aside, I think that overall, this is a great hotel and would definitely recommend it.
This hotel is very clean, modern, and quiet. The quality of the room was great. Lots of surfaces for your possessions. Our room had a king bed and a double size pullout sofa. We slept 3 adults comfortably. The property feels very safe. We allowed our 16 year old to walk around freely in the evening. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable about the area. The pool is small, but well kept. They have a noon check out time so We had lots of time to relax. It is located very close to the Texas Motor Speedway. The biggest benefit of this hotel is the breakfast: waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, bagels, juice, tea, coffee.... yes. It is a delious selection. The breakfast is open for a nice block of time; 6am-9:30am It saved us the cost of going get breakfast. Con: the cost is high, of course we stayed during nascar race weekend. It cost us over $240 per might after taxes and fees.
Convenient to family location. Easy to get onto highway. Very clean. Only problem was leak in roll in shower stall. Leaked water onto bathroom floor. Was afraid I might fall. Everything else was as we expected.
Staff is very professional. Rooms are furnished for business as well as comfort. Very good reception w/ internet.Great location relative to my office in Alliance.I have stayed at many hotels in this area. This is the pinnacle for the price.
Hotel was great. Had issues with not being able to use our rewards (said we'd booked on-line and we called them direct....didn't argue....but disappointed). Cleaning staff did an excellent job and were very friendly. 1 desk guy was indifferent (wondered if he was the owner and didn't think he needed to be polite). The other desk people were great! Appreciated the extra plug-in's and after asking them to check it out the air-conditioning worked great. It didn't loudly click off and on like some do....slept well.
Very reasonable rate. The building is not new but the management has updated the check in area & breakfast room. Nice landscaping. Vending area clean & tidy. The room was clean & well maintained. I always check the carpet in corners of hotel rooms to see if they're free of dust bunnies. Shows that deep cleaning is done on a regular basis if none are found. Bed & pillows were very comfortable. The sofa & easy chair were a little worn but inconsequential to my satisfaction with my stay. A variety of hot & cold breakfast items. Waffle maker awesome. One of the nicest BW's I've stayed at. The only difficulty was figuring out how to run the Direct TV remote. Close to both fast food & nicer, reasonably priced restaurants as well as post office, yoga studio, WalMart, & banks. Will stay again when I need a well kept, basic hotel, in a good location.
Since the hotel has switched to a 100% non smoking hotel, the entire hotel has a fresher atmosphere. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is good(still wish they had turkey sausage). Very friendly staff. We stay here a couple of times a year, and have always had a good experience.
This Best Western facility is very well appointed. Rooms are nice and roomy. They also have a hot breakfast available with several options to choose from. Avoid the coffee from the machine if you prefer good strong brews. Otherwise everything else was quite well done.
The hotel was good : quite with smiling employees .I'll be returning at this hotel soon for sure . Location is just few minutes from the airport with shuttle in perfect time . I have a great conversation with front desk person who made me feel very welcome .
The mattress was too hard. The room phone didn't work. But the clincher was the peep hole in the closet looking out toward the bed. The staff, however, was excellent, along with the outdoor amenities. Overall, we just couldn't get passed the peep hole to give a decent review.
Staff not helpful, didnt seem to care. Breakfast seriously lavking, no milk for cereal, coffee was terrible, no phone service . Disappointed in staff, poor service, didnt seem to like their jobs, and did nothing to make you feel welcome
We always stay here when we are visiting family in a town nearby. It's true that there is little competition, but even if there were, we would stay here. So far, on about 7 stays - everything works; housekeeping is impeccable; staff are always very friendly; the beds are large and comfortable; breakfast is easy; the Roanoke restaurants and bars are within walking distance - no DUIs. We have usually stayed in a 3rd floor room but this time we were on the first level. It's much cooler in the summer heat, which we hadn't realized, and we rarely needed the A/C on at night. The hotel is also very convenient for shopping both locally and at the Grapevine malls, and for DFW. And except when the Texas Speedway is running, the prices are very good value indeed.
Everything in this hotel was tops. Bed was comfortable. Ryan was at desk when I checked in. He was extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Décor was most attractive. Breakfast had a wide variety of items. I thought I left a cup so called back the next day. Man at desk was very polite, had the room checked & called me back. I later found cup in my vehicle. Would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is fairly new or newly remodeled. It wasn't bad but not the caliber of hotel i prefer. Stayed here because the group of co-workers i was traveling with stayed here. The cost conscious one picked the hotel. Hotel near a trailer park and water tower...first things we saw pulling in. Lobby was modern. Rooms were contemporary, felt old. Rooms were clean. Mine had 2 bugs. Faucets dripped in 3 out 4 rooms. 1 room tv was broken. My toilet stopped up in the first use. Noone came til the next day to fix, was told she'd write it down. Hot breakfast. It's a just ok hotel but good if you're on a budget....and we weren't.
I was extremely disappointed with this particular BW. The room had a loud ac unit. Which surprised me, I was expecting a thermostat, not wall/window unit. The bathroom had mold. The lighting sconces didn't work.
We were accommodated very comfortably even though we had arrived without a reservation in an emergency situation when the hotel was full. The owner even helped us with our luggage. This is a good place to stay at a reasonable rate.
Clean, great view and courteous staff. Great location away from traffic. Nice pool and outdoor garden area. The air-conditioner worked great and was well needed. Comfortable beds clean and a nice firm mattress.
Everyone was nice and the breakfastbperson seemed to need some help. It was very busy and the breakfast was running out of items and people had to wait. It would have been nice to see another employee step in to help get her caught up because the front desk was not that busy. I'm not sure if a manager was there but maybe one should have been to help when they get busy. Other then that ever thing was good
This was a last minute reservation and everything went through great. We arrived early and front desk staff let us check in and go to our room before the regular check-in time. The room smelled nice, the towels were fluffy and the bed was comfortable. There was a good selection for breakfast and what we had was tasty. The staff we encountered were all polite and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
My husband and I live nearby and stayed here as a one night getaway from home. We really enjoyed our night. The man at the front desk when we checked in was incredible welcoming and friendly. He made sure we were comfortable and told us not to hesitate to ask if we needed anything. It was quiet and clean. We have stayed here before and will continue staying here off and on when we need a night away!
Hotel is okay - decent price, but could use some updating and repairs and sprucing up (at least the room I had did) I have stayed there 4 other times (once a year), but this year, I noticed a bit of a difference in the care of the property.
The motel location was convenient to family and rehab place. It was easy to find. Location of motel had a variety of restaruants to choose from. Rehab center was less than a mile away. Family was less than 1/3 mile away.
Very nice newly remodeled hotel, that seemed like it was brand new, but they told me it had been totally remodeled in 2016. They really did an excellent job with it. The friendly staff, excellent amenities, cleanliness and great breakfast make this a great value.
We stayed for 2 different nights while our home was being painted. Ryan at the front desk was super helpful and kind so was Rajeev. The breakfast was yummy both my gjrls loved it and very clean dining space. Wish they had more or larger pillows (we like lpts pillows) and highchair for younger child. Overall great stay and have recommended to family for their next visit
I brought a bus of 31 colleged students to tour through a local manufacturer and we stayed one night at BW. They did a great job handling a large group and making sure there was enough breakfast for the students as well as the other guest.
First night, AC made a terrible noise, enough to make us turn it off so we could sleep. Then keep hearing road noise, like the window was open, which it was. The window wouldn't seal up and we had to listen to road noise all night, without ac. Asked the next morning, to either fix the two problems, or move us, or we would check out. When we came back the next evening, we were assured that the problems had been fixed. Went upstairs, and they hadn't touched the room, other than to clean. Had front desk person move us, and told him that we deserved some type of refund for the inconvenience we experienced on the first night. Upon checkout, nothing had been done about any compensation to me. Spoke with the owner, and he told me that he would be happy to give me a 15% discount on my first night stay. 15% is the best he could do????? I doubt I will be back.
I bumped down a level on the rating because the room was so small! With our teenage son along for a three night stay, and trying to get ready for a wedding, it was cramped! Very little counter space in the bathroom was pretty annoying as well. On the up side, the girl behind the desk was super pleasant and helpful, and the hotel was pretty clean and it had a very nice breakfast area. The bed was firm and the pillows only half pillows. There is a trailer park right behind the hotel which was a little concerning.
Hotel is one if the options I gave when in Southlake. Prefer those closer to Trophy Club and more amenities but this hotel nice enough for a quick trip. Average as far as cleanliness and staff, other than Ryan, so so.
I've stayed at this hotel many times because of the proximity to Roanoke and cost, however I recently stopped choosing this hotel. The overall experience is average; rooms could use remodeling, the continental breakfast is super plain. The hotel staff seems to take very little pride in the hotel, no extra effort is made. On 2 separate occasions, I was provided lotion as shampoo/conditioner and ended up putting it in my hair while in the shower.
The place is near and walkable distance ... but Ronoke is a not a happening place Was willing to stay for 3 weeks ... but I have shifted the place soon I would recomvend this hotel for short stay coz it will be boring as the downtown and other happending places are much far.... untill you have your own vehicle. Best this is its close to airport. Rajiv from the hotel staff is lil expressive and caring.
I booked this hotel for a UNT college visit and we did not want to stay in Denton due to the prices. Took a chance on this hotel and it turned out to be great! Very clean and décor was up to date. Simple room for us but we just needed a place to crash and relax.
Very good ratio price/quality, big rooms, gim, big parking. Very, very far from all attractions, shuttle service to the mall or to the offices works for charge, and only from 8AM to 7 PM. Smells degedrent, poor breakfast But very cheap, if you have a car - very good to stay. Breakfasts could be better.
stayed here four nights for nov16 texas speedway nascar. convenient location to speedway; easy access to ft worth/dallas area. quiet; decent breakfast. the covered overhang was really nice the morn we checked out while it was pouring rain ?? our only real complaint, and it's not that big a deal, is housekeeping comes very early in the morn (who knocks on your door to clean at 8am?) so we put out our dnd sign. we then got a placard under our door which told us to contact the front desk if we needed anything. on our way out at 10:45am, i stopped at the front desk and asked if our room could still be cleaned. she said, yes, but it wasn't cleaned that day. not sure what happened... all in all, nice stay ??
Everything in working order this visit, and even seemed to be cleaner. Good job everyone, you made this a good 2 or 3 night stay hotel again. Keep up the good work. Small, yet very comfortable property, and very close to a lot of things to do.
Surprised by very upscale remodel finishes, which you would expect to find more at a new Hilton. Fridge, microwave but still plastic glasses and paper coffee cups...and one of those annoying individual cup coffee makers! Still, great value and excellent and safe location if Southlake or Roanoke are your destinations. Friendly service.
Motel Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. We had an excellent view of our vehicle in the parking area. Breakfast was great a variety of items to pick from. We will definitely stay there in the future.
Stayed here during a big hot rod car event at Texas Motor Speedway. Easy access and within close proximity to local restaurants. My ground floor room was clean and comfortable and came equipped with a couple of complimentary snacks, nice touch. The breakfast area was a little small so table space was at a premium during morning "rush hour". The complimentary breakfast choices were a little light (scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, and waffles +plus the usual cold cereals) but it was ok. There is a 24hr Whataburger right next door so......The staff was friendly and helpful.
This was a nice hotel, rooms were great. I think it was over priced considering other Best Westerns that we stayed at. Staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast room could have been bigger because there were not enough tables for people to sit at. Overall it was a good experience.
Nice clean, comfortable hotel. Incredibly easy check-in and check-out process. Could use more tables in breakfast area though. Spacious room, clean bed, clean bathroom, quiet too. Hotel in good area, felt safe. Close to a couple restaurants too.
We were in town to see our grandchildren. Our visit to the area was mostly with them. We used the hotel to nap and sleep for the night. We visited the train depot in Grapevine. They have model trains running for people to watch. The set up is in a baggage car. An older train was setting on the track next to the baggage car. A group is rebuilding an older train which they plan to use for short trips of the area.
excellent breakfast, nice swimming pool. I like the room size. nice customer service, of course just during night shift.! Please don't check In or walk In at 4 am, because they'll call you or knock your door at 8am! also the morning shift they not nice enough doing them job. good luck every place need a second chance.
08-10-2016 we were traveling by motorcycles The temp. was 107 and this was a needed stop. Friendly highly professional clerk However room was higher that quoted on Best Western Web site and room smaller that previous 2 night stays at Best Westerns
This Best Western is very clean. The rooms are small, but nice for what we needed. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool facility was also very nice and clean. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for three nights. The motel was very quiet at night and the breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly and informative. Cleaning staff did a wonderful job on our room. I would recommend this for anyone. The next time we return to Roanoke we will definitely put this place in our plans.
This was an enjoyable stay at this hotel ! The staff was very attentive and outgoing. The complimentary breakfast was fresh, no junky food and the area was clean. My Family has owned BWs for 40 years, this hotel was outstanding, and with the AARP rate the price was perfect. Great neighborhood too!!
We stayed here a night over the Fourth of July weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was great. Maria worked throughout our breakfast to make sure the food was fresh and hot and the tables were clean. The room was clean and comfortable. My only issue is that we booked what was supposed to be a handicap accessible room but it was not accessible for wheelchair users. It was impossible for my husband who is a wheelchair user to get into the bathroom without assistance, to get from one end of the room to the other (because of furniture in the way), control the room temperature, or to even open the door from the inside to get out.
Clean motel, typical motel breakfast offerings, staff was friendly and helpful, parking was convenient to entrance. We stayed on the second floor not far from the elevator and noise was no issue. Would stay there again.
Great experience even though choking odor of Clorox at entrance that carries down first floor hallway. Staff and all services are excellent, in every way. The Breakfast has the Best choices and well rounded for any diet. Especially, enjoy the support for offering Dannon Yogert or Yoplait, as these are the Best ones.
Motel was clean, quite and comfortable. Hotel staff people skills were lacking. They did their jobs, but didn't do very good at "hello's" . I realize some people know how to socialize better than others, but this was just a simple hello, during passing.
This is a clean place on a quiet road. It's close to places to eat, water park & skate board park. Dogs are allowed also. It has a small pool outside. Staff is friendly. The rooms are clean & beds are comfortable. It's also not very far from Texas Motor Speedway & Southlake shopping.
This was a great place to stay. Convenient to the speedway, it had easy access with several good restaurants around it. The hotel was clean, the water was hot, the bed was comfortable with clean sheets and the air conditioning was cold.
Very nice place I highly recommended. Clean, quiet and friendly place, it might be somewhat hidden away from I35 but still nice for the money spent. what stands out was the friendly staff. I'm planning for it in about a month again.
Good place to stay in a great location! We enjoy Roanoke a lot. This hotel is near everything. The place was clean, comfy and easy to check in and check out. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit the North Fort Worth/Southlake/Grapevine area.
This hotel is very nice close to major airport and not far from six flags over texas and race track. the rooms are real clean . this hotel is close to ft worth and Dallas Texas. There are some good lakes and rivers. It is close to my work. Interstate highways are not far from this place. the internet is great. There are variety of eating olaces close to hotel also a movie theater real close
Honored my ground floor room request (thank you) and a decent place to stay. Rates are good, but hotel is becoming a little "dated." Things are starting to look a little "rundown." Hopefully they are planning on some upgrades. Really like this place, location is great.
Excellent! The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner at Babes about a mile away. Then went to a movie at the new cinema across the street, which was very modern and enjoyable. Everything is so close. We loved this place, and will recommend to friends.
great location ,friendly people clean rooms , very close to Babes chicken restaurant, wall mart and home depot. a water park is just 2 miles away but they do have a nice pool on property . this 3 story hotel has an elevator for those who don not like or cant climb stairs
This hotel was recently updated and looks new. The husband and wife team were terrific and most helpful. Everything was clean, in order, friendly, helpful, great location, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for two nights. There were two exceptions which seemed to make this stay a notch above hotels. First, the sofa in our hotel was extremely comfortable. Almost without exception, any couch in a hotel is hard and uncomfortable. Because I stay in a hotel, at least, half a year, I know. I will place pillows on the sofa, so I can, at least, sit for 30 minutes. As a result, I enjoyed this very comfortable sofa. Kudos to the owners. Additionally, the breakfast was superior to other Best Western and other hotel chains. Their scrambled eggs were cooked and were not the pre-formed eggs. Additional kudos to the owners. I saw that some websites stated that they were rated as three stars. I rate this hotel as a minimum a 3.5-star hotel.
Nice and newer hotel with friendly staff. We were offered bottled water when we checked in, that's a first. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was typical but good, better then other hotel's we have stayed at. The hotel is in a good location to restaurants and major road access.
my stay was okay except breakfast = food was cold - room was okay except for lack of outlets - had to unplug items to use other items - only one outlet for coffee pot, microwave = rather inconvenient =
This was my third year staying at this location. My husband and I have always enjoyed our visits but this year we ran into a few problems. The front desk staff (both gentlemen during check in and check out) seemed bothered by us coming in/leaving. At check in, the clerk did not give us any information except when breakfast was. We got the last whirlpool room available for that night and was surprised to see small cockroaches in the main bathroom and the whirlpool tub was absolutely filthy. When we filled it up the first time there were all kinds of things floating around. We drained it and tried to clean the tub as best as we could. Usually we have a wonderful stay at this location but it seems the quality is going downhill and a couple of new employees would probably benefit this location greatly.
Found this hotel to be very quiet, comfortable, well appointed for the price point. The decor was attractive and comfortable. It wouldn't be my idea of 'romantic' but, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here with my wife and family. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.
This was a very clean, hospitable place to stay. I had a great room just off the lobby...which was right next to the breakfast room!! They had fresh coffee, including decaf which I hardly see. The waffle service was great too!
Very Nice! Will definitely stay at this hotel again. We like to stay at Best Western properties when we travel. They are all unique, but everyone is always friendly and the rooms are always clean and well maintained!
Perfect stay. Great customer service, comfortable bed located on an ample room, very clean bathroom, clean overall and very quiet. All come with complementary hot breakfast (eggs, toasts, bagel, cereal, etc. etc) . Free and fast wifi and direct tv with a full set of channels. Small fitness center but clean and all machines work. Only thing that could be improved is the quality of the pillows. Other than that, no complains. I would stay there any time again
My husband and I stayed at this hotel during Christmas while visiting relatives in the area. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel or any of the nearby restaurants. We did notice a cinema very close by. The television worked well, the shower was good with plenty of hot water, and the bed was comfortable. The price was very good during the holidays.
Best-Western, Roanoke Inn & Suites, Roanoke Room was ok and clean, but compared to the BEST WESTERN PLUS Katy Inn & Suites (near Houston) at nearly the same price, this room came up a bit short. Something new (to me) was that I was required to sign a form that stated that if caught smoking in the room my credit card would get charged $200, I've never smoked (except for a couple of puffs/and gagging when I was 5 years old) so it wasn't a problem, but is an interesting “incentive” for others to not smoke. The smoke and carbon monoxide sensor was in plain view, and is most likely the way to get found out if you do smoke. Stayed 4 nights in Standard Room, 1 King Bed, Non-Smoking. The clerk who checked me in was quite friendly. We got a room on the 1st floor back side (North). Because of the highway interchanges, and the street layout in Roanoke it we didn't hit the right streets on the first try. We approached on I-35W-North (for those unfamiliar, that's from the south on I-35's West leg) and got on TX-170 headed east. Confusion reigned supreme when we tried to double back to get on Hwy-114 west. This was one time I didn't take the time to use Google Earth to view my route. The ramps and exits are somewhat confusing. Finally found our way to the hotel using VFR (in this case Visual Find References), it was sitting in plain sight on the side of a hill. The complementary snack was more like an airline snack, a small package of “Fruit” snack, and a couple of packaged cookies (only there for the first night). Found that approaching from the east bound lane of W Highway 114 the off ramp is actually N Dorman Street, which takes you up over the top of the hill and puts you right at the hotel. The room was a bit tight with all the furnishings, couldn't maneuver the luggage cart without banging into several pieces of furniture between the door and the bed. There was a 2cup coffee pot, small refrigerator, iron, and ironing board, microwave, and television, a small couch/pullout bed, and plenty of outlets. Plenty of outlets to recharge all the electronics we travel with (2 phones, 1 tablet, 1 laptop and others. There was no safe in the closet which is quite handy for storing items during trips out of the room. The hotel/room appears to have been remodeled (at least once) and being a remodeler myself I'd say the quality of the remodel was adequate, but not great. Never had any problems with noise, couldn't hear the nearby highways, or trains, mostly because of the A/C running 24/7. There is no thermostat, but the A/C can be adjusted on the typical below the window seat unit. The bed mattress has seen better days, it was only reasonably comfortable. They do have a collection of pillows with varying softness to choose from, but I prefer my foam pillow from home. The WI-FI, LCD TV and Direct-TV operated fine until the rainstorm caused loss of signal right near the end of “Kingsman”. The screen is plenty large for comfortable viewing from anywhere in the room. The breakfast included in the room price was a mini-buffet with omelets, sausage, bacon, and hashbrowns to choose from, along with several cereals and various coffees and drinks. One problem that we have is the wife is highly sensitive to milk products, and upon checking with the cook found the egg had milk in them. There were no soy products for the coffee or cereal, so her selection was limited to a banana, a piece of toast with jam/jelly. There were individually wrapped bagels and buns, but no pastries (not that my waistline really needs them). No real problems until the last night we came back around 10pm and found that the maid service had forgotten a few things, like bath towels and coffee. The desk clerk was apologetic and she promptly got me the missing items to take back to the room. Because of the location (15 minutes from my son's home in Keller) we might stay here again, but anyone planning to get onto US-377 south, will find that Hwy-114 Branch (E Byron Nelson Blvd) does not intersect it as indicated on some maps it actually passes under it. Rather you have to zig-zag through a small business area, and they're not the easiest turns to find in a rain storm at night on the way back up 377 (Also known as N Front St).
Had reservations. Upon arrival was greeted and told complimentary snacks was in the room for us. Very nice accommodation and clean. They served a Continental breakfast that was wonderful. Scrambled eggs, diced spuds, sausage and bacon, biscuits and then all the additional usual's - bagels, waffles, cereals, juice, ect. ect. About 12 miles from Denton which was where we were going. Would defiantly stay there again when going through Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
We have stayed at this Best Western several times. Each time has been better than the visit before. The hotel has upgraded over the years. The breakfast bar is one of the best of any hotel we have stayed at. Very friendly staff. Clean and well maintained. Family friendly.
This Best Western is a super-clean hotel with good rates, and is located in a safe neighborhood. It has good breakfast options, is close to restaurants and shopping, we always stay here when in the northern Fort Worth area.
all kinds of retiring, one being resting after many hours on the road. when traveling to Roanoke this past year to visit my husbands brother who's cancer was winning. we needed a place close to the home he was in and this fit the bill, then coming back recently for a visit with my husbands sister we checked in again to this hotel due to a previous satisfied experience. in a word "comforable"
We were driving to Austin, Tx to spend the holiday with family and decided to stop for the night in Roanoke. This hotel offers everything you could want and it was easy access from 35W. We always try to stay at a Best Western when traveling and this hotel definitely lived up to expectations.
I brought my soccer team for the third time and our stay was great. We will definitely come back. The rooms were great and the breakfast was wonderful. It was in an area with great accessibility to many things.
Clean place. Attended races at Texas Motor Speedway, had to detour back to room due to the main road entering was closed. Took 2 hours get back to room which was only 4 miles. It was not the hotel's fault. Would tell a friend to stay and would stay again if in the area.
This hotel was convenient to our wedding location. It was near restaurants and shopping centers and right off the freeway for easy access. We were told that the pricing of the room was higher than normal on Saturday night due to a Nascar race. However, more people attending the wedding would have stayed here if the price was he same for Friday and Saturday night, Quite expensive for a standard room.
Average stay at best. This property used to really care, about their service, their appearance, etc......but just don't seem to anymore. Checkin was fine, room was "fairly" clean, everything worked as it should. BUT....notice what seemed to be a piece of paper or something under the air conditioner, reached under to pull it out....a roach trap, just laying on the carpet, pretty easy to see.......wasn't happy. They used to place nice "treats" in the rooms of frequent guests.....now, almost nothing. I'm hoping they are just "off their game" right now, and will improve.
Was skeptical of best western due to earlier experience at Melbourne, oz. But what a revelation. Clean room, good breakfast & a decent market, movie hall & diner at walking distance. All in all pleasant stay.
Stayed one night with my adult daughter and toddler age granddaughters, I have stayed here before when visiting my family in Ft Worth and always come back. It is in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Good service and breakfast is excellent with plenty of options.
close to the race track and almost walking distance to the best chicken restaurant BABE'S in Roanoke historic area some place you need to visit while here----check out the town historical museum you cant find nicer people there
Hotel is very nice, but the beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. Everything else was very good and the location was excellent. I would rate this hotel very highly, except the uncomfortable beds make it a no return for me.
We were very happy with our stay here in Roanoke. the property was very clean and the staff was very polite. this was a birthday trip for my wife and we wanted to stay in Roanoke to be close to ranger stadium. this property deserves a A+
Comfortable, about right for a Best Western. I was in town for a race at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track so the location was convenient and the price was reasonable. If your are coming in on a NASCAR weekend, call well in advance. Not a large property. If you're coming through outside of racing, it's still a good stay. You're not that far from several major outlets.
Staywd here on a business travel stayed for 2 days. The hotel is clean and the staff is very attentive. The hotel has the usual ammenities microwave, ironing board and iron, refrigerator, etc. They serve a continental breakfast that is actually really good. The rates are reasonable for the area.
The title pretty much says it all. I have stayed at this location before and it is always good. The room was comfortable and quite. The internet service was good and easy to connect to. The breakfast was hot and did the job it was designed to do.
