Je m’inscris We were not recognized as Platinum members. Should have had free water which we did not receive. The front check in staff was fantastic, however! Very friendly and helpful with dinner recommendations. The room did not really meet with the Best Western Plus standards. The mattress were overly firm, pillows not the greatest. Floor in the bathroom looked dirty/like it had a thin smear of mud, but might have just been the pattern on the tiles. I didn't try to clean it to see. Wasn't bad enough to make me wear shoes. The towels were very thin. Shower didn't drain well, toilet was slow to flush and had to keep the handle held down a bit. We did NOT bring it to front staff attention. The breakfast was good; gravy and biscuits, link sausage, scrambled eggs (plain and with cheese), bagels, boiled eggs. Didn't have any pastries, only 1 slice of bread. Has a new coffee machine that was just delivered (has only had for 2 wks), but they don't have all the flavors that it should have (no mocha)... but they are supposed to be getting it. Check out was easy, front desk staff was also very friendly. Overall, it was a fairly comfortable stay, would have no problems staying again. Room was quiet, TV worked well.
Great value and beds were comfy and breakfast was nice! Several options and Kathy, at the front desk was very polite and professional! The free complimentary coffee and filtered water was great! The overall experience and quality was excellent! This is a great place to stay!
The rooms at this location are safe and clean. The inside doors add additional security. The employees are all friendly and professional. The breakfast bar is exceptional. The food is hot and delicious. Every single employee went out if their way to make our stay enjoyable.
The experience at this place was fantastic. Not a bit of problems no noise running up and down the hallways no drunk people raising hell all night long breakfast was fantastic in the morning. Coffee was very hot.
Great location near Oak Mountain state park yet super easy drive into the city. Staff was polite & helpful on this visit.
This stay was a great experience all around and great value for money. We stayed April 12-14 for a family wedding. When we arrived we were immediately checked in and able to head up to our room. The per night price was at a reasonable level, the location was excellent near Oak Mountain, Windwood Equestrian, restaurants, and a good breakfast offering. And most importantly, this was the cleanest hotel I have been in at any level of stay and the unique touches we just felt like someone really cares. You could just feel the pride the owner and staff have in this place. If all that wasn't enough, my sister whom has several serious health problems including memory issues left her wallet by accident at the end of the stay. They literally tracked us down within 2 hours to tell us and arrange with her daughter to send the wallet back to her! Simply above and beyond, thank you!
We booked in advance through Best Western web site. Our reservation was at the desk upon check in. Check in was fast and friendly. Our room, with the king size bed, was clean and comfortable. Easy on and off of the interstate.
This was one of the best Best Westerns we have stayed at, Great location if you are traveling near Birmingham, AL. Great breakfast! Rooms were nice and had great internet connections. Great price for the value they offered us. Will be staying at this location again!!
Everything was enjoyable and priced right. The convenience of everything was perfect. We would definitely stay there on our next trip to Alabama, The staff were very friendly and helpful the breakfast area was expellant.
Fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and waffles. Good coffee and hot cocoa and tea were available 24/7 as well as a filtered water machine to refill your own bottles or cups. There were cereals, boiled eggs, yogurt, packaged pastries and bagels available, too. Also, milk and juices and fresh apples and bananas. An friendly attendant was there to keep the food restocked and area clean.
Easy access close to I-65. Hotel entrance was well-lit and parking was plentiful. Sharon was very cheerful during check in. The room was pleasant, smelled fresh and AC worked perfectly. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty, hot with multiple proteins from which to choose. We especially enjoyed the link sausage. We would definitely recommend this location.
Not like other best western, this supervisor needs a lesson on customers, room was not clean toilet barely flushed and ac was not working correctly. Will not be back in Pelham,al And when asked about another stay price went up and she cared nothing about making things right, wanted to send a housekeeper up to do a plumbers job and a electrician..
Hotel was clean, rooms were clean, linen clean and stain free. Very comfortable with cleanliness and condition of room. Great night stay. Breakfast hot and many items to choose from. Coffee hot with great flavor, happy with the creamer assortment. Front desk friendly and helpful. Housekeeping and maintenance friendly and willing to help with guest needs
Basic stay at a decent hotel, easy access to I-65, adequate parking, plenty of eating options close. I stayed at the property July 28-29, 2023, Room 204. Connie and Shannon checked me in with no issues. Room was neat. I slept well! They had a decent breakfast. I would stay here again.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean and quiet. There were K-cups in the room. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was close to the interstate and places to get food and gas. The breakfast was pretty good.
My best friend and I came to Pelham for an amazing Matchbox 20 concert at Oak Mountain Amphitheater- hotel was literally a 5 minute walk. The staff were super friendly and the room was clean. We literally parked the car and there were several earring places within walking distance. If you want to drive to other places close by, access to other restaurants are very easy to get to.
This was the absolute best hotel stay ever. I booked 34 rooms for 3 nights to accommodate families with special needs kids participating in Alabama State Games. Everyone in the hotel was kind, considerate and went out of the way to make the stay the best possible experience for our kids.
We have stayed here a few times and have always been happy. The trip usually has 6 or more family members. The motel is in a great location and we always feel safe. Many restaurants within a mile to choose from.
The Inn is easy to access. Close to major highways, yet quiet.Staff is very friendly and helpful. Handicap parking was close to the side door and elevator, making our entrance and exit easy. Room was just right for us.
The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good and they offered a variety of options. A good BBQ place was literally a five minute walk just around the corner from the hotel. We also loved that it is right off the interstate.
Very clean. Friendly front desk. Great referral for dinner next door -BBQ. WOULD DEFINITELY stay again Right off the hyway easy access , great fresh breakfast and so convenient. Quiet neighborhood. It's always pleasant after a long day on the highway to see a smiling friendly face greeting you.
I would not recommend this hotel for the price we paid. There was a strong odor as soon as you walked into the hotel room. The Internet wasn't fast. The outside door on one side would not unlock when you put your key card in, so you had to walk all the way around which wasn't so convenient at times or very safe. The heating and air also didn't work the best. The bathrooms are very outdated and look a little sketchy.
The hotel was okay. The staff was very nice but the room wasn't the clean. I took the chair out the room because it was so dirty. The bathroom wasn't as clean either. Overall the hotel is okay. Housekeeping just need to clean the rooms better.
The best western was great. Even though it was only for one night. We were very satisfied. The location was perfect for both events we attended. One location was( 8) eight minutes and the other was about twelve (12). Perfect
Convenient location, clean, kind employees , helpful employees, breakfast was good,tv ,pool, fitness center, internet, everything was good and I would stay here again .The beds were very comfortable and it was a quiet hotel
Close to highway, plenty of restaurants nearby, decent breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffle maker, yogurt, bagel, toast, juice, coffee). Rooms were clean, air worked great. Rooms are quite small.
We came in to our room and pulled our sheets back. Hairs and two quarters on one bed. We checked the other bed and it has some grass and hair on it. The sheets had not been changed. The toilet did not flush. The night lady brought sheets and changed and was very apologetic. She also sent us a plunger that we used every time we need to go to the bathroom.
Staff were all pleasant and responsive; the issue in this area is with management and training. The toilet flooded the bathroom. Response was quick but clean up consisted of using towels to mop up toilet water with no cleaner or disinfectant. Requested disinfectant the following day and room cleaning but only the bathroom was cleaned - carpet outside the bathroom was not even vacuumed as visible debris remained. The bathroom fan only worked intermittently and sounded like a truck with a missing muffler - to loud to be left on. The air conditioner cooled but didn't dehumidify at all. At check in was given 2 keys, neither of which worked. Returned to the front desk and got 2 replacement keys, only 1 worked, went back to the front desk again. For a room costing $170/night, this was definitely not a good value.
Pretty good hotel not far from Hoover stadium. Easy access to interstate or Hoover. Plenty of restaurants and stores around hotel. Bar b que, mexican, Hooters, Cracker Barrel, Chick-Fila, Whataburger, McDonalds, Roadhouse Steak, WalMart, Circle K all within mile and half.
I planned a pilgrimage trip to visit with family I've not seen in a long while due to the recent bruised climate of gatherings. But it's quite a long drive to get to where they live-decided to get off the highway to get get some rest. Glad I did, I got a good nights sleep, was fed well the next morning and was better behind the wheel.
Hotel was just ordinary. However it was clean and conveniently located. It was right off the interstate and located near several fast food and upscale eateries. Breakfast had a variety to choose from on the run to the ball game.
Came here with my family for few days while visiting Birmingham. Place was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel wasn't far (almost walking distance) from the Oak Mountain State Park. Also had some great restaurant choice nearby as well as a mall/shopping center.
room very clean, as well as the stayover service we received. Breakfast was great, many choices and hot food with great hot coffee. Each and every employee we came in contact was great, southern hospitality at its finest.
positives: good breakfast, comfy bed, staff was excellent. negatives: toilet was very loose. it rocked like a rocking chair. had 2 tv remotes to work the tv and one would barely work. internet was intermittent very frustrating. room keys kept deactivating, had to keep reprogramming them.
This was a quick decision as we had to get up early to go to UAB hospital in the morning. I have to go to the hospital every year. We normally stay at this hotel because the people are nice to us.it is a comfort for us. Also Texas Roadhouse is across the street
This spot was a one night stop on the way to spring break. We booked online and it was apparently overbooked through the website (we booked VERY late, not their fault). The front desk first called to let us know that no room was available…. She then called back to let us know that she felt awful about the situation, that she is well aware that there is no chance of us finding a room anywhere close right now, and that she would expedite a room cleaning/opening. She really didn't have to go out of her way, but it saved us from a headache after driving 10+ hours. It's refreshing to see a business that still cares about its customers. I will be staying here again next year, but booking well in advance. P.S. The free breakfast was pretty good too!
The room was clean, check in was quick and easy. Staff were all very polite. We had 7 guests staying on a family trip heading to the beach for spring break. We will be staying here if there are rooms available on future family vacations.
On our way through Alabama, we stopped at this hotel for the night. We were warmly greeted and processed by the front desk staff. Our assigned room was very clean and comfortable. Everything in the room worked well. The breakfast was very good and, again, the staff very helpful. I recommend this hotel for an overnight stay.
We stopped here for one night on our way to Destin but we were disappointed with this Motel. We have stayed at other Best Westerns before which have always been very good. This one, unfortunately was dirty and very tired looking, it needs a major renovation. We found cockroaches in the bathroom but when we informed the front desk they didn't seem very concerned. The bath was scratched and dirty and the room needed a good clean.
The Best Western Plus in Pelham is the best value in the economical price range. It was ideal for our one night stay to enjoy an entertainment event in nearby Columbiana, AL. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful at check-in. My first impression was the building and grounds appeared to be newly renovated and clean. Our room was also very clean and comfortable. The free wi-fi is great as is the free breakfast. We will certainly consider it again when visiting the area.
Requested a quiet room, November 30. Made it clear to the clerk we were traveling to Destin, and had a condo booked the following day. We checked out early, the following morning, turned in the keys. They charged us for a single night., at that time. However, they added an extra day on the receipt, and, after we left, charged our credit card for a second night. Yeah…shady. We didn't discover this until we returned home, and checked our credit card statement. We provided proof that we were in the Panhandle the following day. They don't care. Be forewarned…this is a new scam. Shame on Best Western Stone Mountain. We won't be staying at any Best Western hotel, and warn travelers about this new tactic.
We highly recommend Best Western Oak Mountain Inn. It is well maintained with large quiet rooms, great breakfast choices and wonderful front desk staff. It is just one block off I-65 and convenient to many restaurants and shopping options.
We have stayed at this hotel twice, once in Nov 2020 and now in Nov 2021. They have a great Continental Breakfast. The staff is very kind and helpful. The value is very good for the price. There is easy access on and off the highway.
Because they are more interested in their own businesses then spending even one minute to call or write to guest about important issues related to their guests. Two weeks before date of arrival, I requested that my four gift cards be used for the room. Staff said no problem, gave me email address to send them, which I did. I asked that they would call/email when done, to confirm. They NEVER did, meanwhile gift cards were not used. Since they were due to expire later that month, u ended up staying one extra night in another Best western hotel to use those cards, all because the staff did not bother to use one minute of their time to call/write to explain to situation to me.
Terrific hotel off the interstate close to restaurants. The staff were super nice and some of the best staff I've encountered. Definitely a great hotel to stay in with a hit breakfast. Beds were soft and the rooms clean.
Rm 324 had bed bugs. My daughter and I were miserable. We switched rooms 114 and after a long day, arrived back to room around 11pm. Our hotel key did not work and no staff on duty to reactivate key. Waited 45mins for someone to show up. The staff is friendly, but not worth bed bugs or having my son sleep in a lobby because we couldn't get onto our room. And there were roaches in the food area.
Staff was nice, room was clean. The shower was great- good pressure, not hard to get the temp I wanted, and the towels were soft! Mattress and pillows were great too. Only negative would be lack of parking.
This hotel has a great breakfast selection. There was coffee available all day and every room we stayed in was well maintained and comfortable to stay in. The pool area was well maintained and the children loved swimming. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here
Woke up and had to take a cold shower. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. But staff was nice and room was clean. If I could give it 3.5 stars, I would... but I'll be nice and give it 4 considering the price.
The bed spread had a blood spot and was obviously unwashed. When the slow-draining bathroom sink was reported to staff, the issue was left unaddressed. The breakfast was less than exemplary with hard biscuits.
The room itself was OK. The carpet felt a little sticky, but it LOOKED clean. The bathroom was unacceptable. There was dry, sticky urine around the toilet. The bathtub was caked with grime and dirt. Looks like the housekeepers simply spray the tub and rinse (if that). I had to put a towel down on the tub floor in order to take a shower without touching the junk. The sink faucets were covered in something. Again, to remove dirt you'll need to scrub. The toilet seat was streaking, appearing as if someone simply swiped over the seat with a rag. The rate was outrageous for this stay - over $140! never again.
The hotel was on the low end of the spectrum. Clean sheets and hot water are about the best things. The TV did not work, told the front desk. Nothing was done. The breakfast was mediocre, the pool was surrounded by Hoosiers openly drinking and smoking and being loud. There were dead bugs in the bathroom. Overall, I had a roof over my head and what I hoped were clean sheets. I made the best and will not stay there again
Years ago we had friends who lived at this I-65 exit, and now our son and his family live nearby, so we've stayed at 3 different hotels here. HIExpress, Hampton Inn...all were wanting $200 plus for a room! Too much for a quick overnight. Best Western had an excellen pricet...which made me suspicious. Years ago we'd stayed at a hotel next door which was then a Microtel, so I didn't have much hope this would be any better. But the reviews were good, so I booked a room. I was SHOCKED at how nice the room was. It was EXTREMELY clean.
The staff here is always wonderful and very friendly. The hotel is comfortable and the rates are very reasonable. It is in a location near restaurants and retailers. Everything you might need is close by.
Our experience here resulted in a sleepless night. We got the last available room-a king accessible room. Heater was broke-sounded like a chainsaw running. We finally turned it off and would turn it back on throughout the night for a few minutes to take the chill out then shut it back off. Fridge would not cool and the tv blinked off every time the fridge would kick on. Terrible thumping sound every 20 minutes all night long that we couldn't figure where it came from. On the positive side, desk staff were very nice and tried to solve problem. They were just unable to and no other rooms were available because entire floor closed for renovations.
This was a good hotel off the interstate yet there was no interstate traffic noise heard in the room. Rooms were clean, bed was comfy, staff was friendly. They do have a variety of items for breakfast even during this pandemic. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. My two concerns were there were no plugs or usb ports on the night stands to plug your electronics and sometimes internet was spotty at times.
Staying at this Best Western Hotel every time when I have to take care of business at Pelham. Will definitely be back later this year. Hopefully the Pandemic be over & the breakfast bar be back. Thou, I had a little satisfactorily with the 2x $25 gift cards I had from BW last year.
I had stayed at this :Best Western before and wasn't surprised how they protected the customers from the covid virus. Breakfast was prewrapped so no contact but still had a nice variety to choose from. Room was sanitized prior to our stay and everything was clean.
This Best Western Plus was short of the Plus! Moldy refrigerator, broken lock on the doors, and HUGE cricket in the room. No thank you!! Need lots of updates, old looking. Also table was dusty in the room. Shouldnt the rooms be extra clean right now???
Decent room with a fridge, microwave and large flat screen. We had terrible to no WiFi service in the room {good signal, no bandwidth) so that was a pain. Parking is limited on the sides but there's overflow at the back. Lots of restaurant options nearby with tons of fast food. The windows don't really seal shut so you can hear the highway noise. Outdoor pool but we were there in March so we didn't use. Overall good value, not the best place you can stay, but decent for this type of hotel.
The room accommodations are average. The price was great for a short stay. Good location, East access to many attractions. Good free breakfast buffet! (hot eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy) Front deal staff is kind and helpful!
I stopped in today coming through town because online showed the rate at $57. At the desk, I was told that wasn't through the hotel, I would have to book online to get that rate. This in itself isn't the issue After getting checked in, after getting my room keys, getting all my stuff loaded on a cart, up to the third floor room, I open the door to an OCCUPIED room. Stuff on the floor, stuff on the chair in the corner.... Etc. Nope, didn't even step foot in the room. Back down to the lobby. How in #&!! Do you not know that room is occupied? Tell me, well the computer showed it empty. Ok, then why was it not cleaned of all somebody's stuff? Hotel wouldn't refund my money because I'm booked through a third party. Oh, that third party doesn't seem to have a customer service number So... No, I don't recommend staying here, to anybody.
This place was clean but its showing its age. After I checked & parked my vehicle I noticed a room on the first floor with the window wide open with the screen laying below on the ground. Then I noticed other screens off & my screen looked as if someone tried to pry it open. When I checked out of the hotel the room with the open window was the same. I did tell the attendant at the front desk about the open window & she said it was just opened now to air the room out. I did tell her it was like that when I checked in & she told me not to worry about it. The rooms were clean but the area is questionable especially if you happen to be traveling solo.
This hotel is too close to the interstate. You will hear trucks all night long. Mattress is very soft. Room was clean but we only had 1 tissue in the box and only one roll of toilet paper (no spare). Breakfast was very good and hostess was excellent.
Stayed 6 days over the Christmas holiday and it was not very busy. The room was clean and efficient in design. The breakfast had a good selection but not a variety of fruit. Limited service probably due to holiday. The day front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Not so much at night.
Nice, quite & clean. The staff at check in was very friendly and efficient. The young lady at breakfast was the same. Everyone seemed to be happy to help and make your stay as nice as possible. We will definitely stay again
Easy check in and check out. Parking was easy and you can use a side entrance with your key. My sister and I were traveling alone and felt very safe here. The room was clean and recently updated. Wonderful breakfast with coffee, juice, cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, toast.
The room was not as nice as the website pictures. The bathroom really show the age of the hotel. There was also a odor in the room which wasn't very plesant. Although the staff was very nice and accommodating. The front desk receptionist gave some guy a key to the room, so at 2:00 in the morning I heard someone trying to open the door. I yelled from the bed. But he didn't stop putting the key card in and turning the door knob so I eventually went to the door. He apologized and said the lady downstairs gave him the key. Thus this was very frustrating because I couldn't fall back to sleep right away and I had to get up at 5:00 to travel back home for work ...
This hotel is ok for one night as we traveled through, but I would not want to stay longer than that. Some attention to detail needed (bathroom not as clean as it should be, door locks loose and made it hard to read entry card, a/c has no continuous fan option so it's cutting on and off all night). The staff is super friendly, the breakfast was very nice, the overall property is attractive. Bed was comfortable, so that's very important!
Eggs were dry and crumbly and almost black with pepper. They ran out of eggs at 8:30 am while the attendant spent 20+ minutes complaining about world conditions. I must have heard “my mama” a good 30 times. People had to wait for her to make more food. The sweet roll was old and all dried out.
Nice staff when we checked in and out very nice breakfast the person who sets up the breakfast was cheerful and helpful this place was a nice treat after some past not so good experiences and this place was really smoke free we have had an issue with that, claim to be smoke free you walk into the room and it smells
Place was very clean and a great location. The staff was terrific and it was a great hub for our family to meet. We contacted them directly and Christina handled it all for all those in our party. We all thanked her personally for such a super hero!
The hotel was very clean and, inviting. The Front Desk Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, and would return. The breakfast was good. The lobby smelled so clean and freash, i love that. The grounds was well keeped.
Clean rooms and friendly staff! Close to the interstate! Would definitely stay again. This was our second time staying here. We used it as our half way point going to the beach. You do have to ask for sheets for the sofa bed. They do not automatically put them in the room.
Prime location, easy access, clean rooms, courteous and helpful staff, free breakfast, and a good rate. What more can one ask for? I have booked this Best Western on 3 different occasions and never had any regrets.
Staff was kind. Beds were comfortable. There was food left in our fridge. There was mold on a hard-boiled egg. Made me think it's not busy enough to go through them. The staff was responsive and apologetic to both issues.
The facility is dated, but worse yet, a mouse surfaced from under the air conditioner as I walked nearby to turn the light on, and it ran from hiding under the air conditioner to the TV cabinet, later up on the power/TV cable, then back under the A/C. Receptionist offered another room and naturally we took it to leave the uninvited and unappreciated critter behind. The staff on duty next morning was unaware of my experience leading me to consider if action about the mouse was forthcoming or the cleaning personnel would clean the room for the next paying customer without subsequent action about the unappreciated guest. My repeated attempts to discuss issue with the manager upon check-out, then days later p, produced no interest to follow-up.
Internet was super fast. As I transmit files every night it was nice not having to worry about getting my files uploaded on time. The room was very spacious and nicely laid out. Didn't have any issues during my stay. I would stay here again if I'm in the area again.
I came in town for business and looked for a room in the Hoover area All hotels were full due to the Siuthern Baptist Convention, I booked a room at the Best Western Plus in Pelham. The hotel is attractively landscaoed and interior decorated. Room was immaculately maintained, and high speed internet worked well. Hotel is conveniently located near the Interstate but far enough away for a quiet restful night's sleep.
I stayed a total of 5 mights and I was pleased with the amenities and also the appearance of outside and interior of hotel. There are numerous places to eat within a mile radius with a varied menu selection.
How can a hotel not have hot water? Stoped in for rest and a shower while traveling...could not get a refund after finding out no hot water. Seems like a nice hotel, very clean, really nice staff, but no hot water!!
The staff was friendly. We had a little trouble getting the TV to work because of how the connection was set. The breakfast was not very good. The location was good as far as access to Oak Mountain but the road was busy it was a little difficult getting out of the parking lot.
We checked in in the middle of the night and got price gouged for starters. We went right to sleep because we were exhausted on beds that felt like sleeping on plywood woke up the next morning to find that our room hasn't been cleaned since the last guest stayed there. The trash can was overflowing the bathtub was black and blood on the shower curtain and I think their telephones are broken because I've called 3 times and their manager Renee hasn't returned my calls
Internet was slowest I hav ever witnessed.Reported to staff and got no help from them. Desk chair broken. Electrical plug loose in wall. Breakfast was Okay for continental meal. Did not report chair or electrical plug problem to office staff.
Confirmed rate even with receipt was not honored. Checked guests into my room prior to my arrival without my permission or confirmation #. They simply told clerk they were suppose to stay with me. Then when I told the guests(family) they could stay because nothing was available elsewhere the hotel then turned around & charged me $60 more due to these guests in my room. I did not give my permission to the hotel to let them in my room. Furious with hotel allowing others to check in my room without authorization (which in itself is scary) & then charged extra. Never again Best Western Plus‼️
My reservation had been made since middle of October for a room with King sized bed and there were a couple available. When we got there we were told that the only room available was a one for handicap, we said ok. Turns out the toilet has a stopped up line and would not flush properly. When we complained and the checked we were told we were not flushing properly, we had to hold down handle. The next morning, by HOLDING DOWN, handle it came with in a quarter of a inch of overflowing every thing and it would not drain. We came back to a handwritten note saying we needed to hold the handle down. My husband is head of maintenance for an apartment complexes, he again tried to tell them what the problem was, but they would not listen. We finally asked for the plunger and plunged every time we used the toilet. Water was also leaking around the base of toilet.
The hotel is less than 2 miles from the South entrance to the park. It was very close to numerous restaurants, it was clean, safe, and had a good breakfast. Our a/c unit was very loud, but it worked. The hotel was quiet even though it's just off I-65. We would certainly stay here again if we go back to this area.
The room was clean and the staff was friendly. I checked in around 1am and they don't offer late night rates. Had to pay full price for less then a half day. Plus I showed them a rate I found online and was told to go book the room online if I wanted that rate. So they would rather you book with a third party then them directly. The breakfast was okay at best and you hear everything in the room. I could hear people out in the parking lot. Didn't really have any hot water when taking a shower and the toilet made noises even without me using it. I stay in Pelham a lot when I travel south but I will definitely skip this hotel.
Oak Mountain State Park, is very near. It's in a safe location and had good rates. I stayed in the King suit w/the jetted tub. I had a small issue with the tub having a clog; it just so happened to be clothed with polyester rose petals from a prior romantic night. Either way I recommend this one for convenience and location.
Seems well managed. Front desk was pleasant and efficient. Firm, but comfy bed. Room was very clean. Location is very convenient to multiple restaurant and just off I-65. Didn't have breakfast , but looks like it was in a nice area.
Very friendly check-in and check-out staff. Rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. Good options for TV channels, internet worked well, nice to have the fridge and coffee maker in the room. Coffee available 24 hours a day in the lobby. Great breakfast options both hot and cold. Very easy on and off Interstate.
Our stay was one night on our way to Florida. Had our dog with us. The pet friendly room looked new and very clean. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Had a great breakfast before we left. Biscuits and gravy got us started for the day. Great place to stop just south of Birmingham so you can miss the traffic in the morning,
The room smelled like a musty locker room. Night clerk was not friendly and expressed the fittness room closes at 9pm per instruction from the owner. The bed had broke springs. The night clerk came into the fittness room at 9:02pm to run me out of there when I only checked in at 8:28. Fittness room had mud all over the floor. Hotel has a lot of interstate noise. The only good experience was the breakfast.
We have stayed at this hotel for the last four years while attending football games and functions at the college where our son goes to school. We have always had exemplary customer service and prefer this property to others that are in the area. Today, we were not so happy with our choice. We arrived at 2:05pm and attempted to check-in. We were met with a woman who informed us that check-in was at 3pm. We explained to her that we had been to this property multiple times and are also Best Western Rewards members and, in the past, we had been allowed to check-in early if the rooms were ready. Granted, we understood the timeline for the facility...we have been here before, after all. However, we have always been allowed to check-in early. She was adamant that the rooms were '...not ready. I'll see you at 3pm'. We were not happy, obviously, since the banquet we were attending started at 4:30 and we had a little travel time to account for to the facility. We returned to the car where, upon looking around, we noticed that there were NO cars in the parking lot on one side and two cars on the other side. There were no housekeeping carts in sight and no active 'cleaning' taking place. We sat in the car for a about 15 more minutes (by then, it was about 2:30pm) and then went back inside to have her pull up our account to show that we had been there multiple times and ask if, by chance, she could let us check-in early. She looked...and said that she only saw where we had been there one other time and that, in fact, we do NOT come stay there all the time. I know, rude, right?? And, once again, she continued to say...over and over again...'I'll see you at 3pm' or 'Check-in is at 3pm' or 'Your rooms are not ready. They will be ready at 3pm'. By this time, we were not very...polite. I asked for her name (she refused to give it to me)...I asked to speak to the manager (of which she informed me she was the Manager on Duty). And, of course, she refused to speak to us again about anything other than to say...yep..."Check-in is at 3pm'. Finally, at 2:47pm, she came out to the car and brought the check-in papers and room keys and said that 'The elevator has been out and they just got it fixed. I put you on the first floor'. (While we were in the lobby earlier, we saw a guest come down the elevator...lol) Anyway, we were very disappointed with our check-in experience today. I don't have her name...as she still refused to give it to us...but I hope we never have to deal with her again. Thankfully, our son graduates in May (which we will come back one last time to Birmingham...but will most likely NOT stay at this hotel). It is sad because this property is always clean and friendly and near to our college student. Do better, Best Western. You employees make or break your customer base. **For those that say we acted like we were entitled, sure we did. We are Best Western rewards members and we had always been treated special and with respect in the past. Today, we did not have that experience. I think, had the facility been busy or the parking lot had been full (or even partially so), we would have been more understanding. We have since been informed that the staff member's name is Katie. And, from reading the reviews about this property, this is not the first time she has been calservice. In a review for her rudeness or lack of customer sevice. I can only hope her supervisor or the owner addresses this situation and sees that customer service drives satisfaction.
The staff was helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. I was able to plan when I would try to get through Birmingham in the morning. The coffee was welcome after driving all day. It is easy to get back on the interstate from this location.
My wife and I were booked into the inn for two nights. We were greeted by a friendly deskk clerk and quickly checked in. Our king bedroom was on the 2nd floor. It was very clean and ready for us. Everyone was very curteous and quick with a greeting and information about the area. It was a pleasure to be there.
We werecokn a very long trip and needed a place like home..and this was it. We really liked how there was cookies, fruit and coffee..tea..water available 24/7. The breakfast was way better than any restaurants with a wonderful selection for any diet.
We always stay at this hotel on our way to Florida. It is close to the interstate with easy access on and off. Plenty of restaurants are in the area. The girls at the front desk were friendly when we checked in, with no problems. We had requested a room away from elevators and vending machines, and in a quiet area. They got us the best room they could to suit our requests. Yes, there is highway noise, as it is right next to the interstate, but we will run the fan in the room, and it will block some of the noise. The room was very clean. Wifi worked great, and had a large flat screen TV with numerous channels. The bed was quite comfortable, and we had plenty of pillows, towels. Breakfast was the usual with waffles, sausage patties, eggs, biscuits and gravy for hot entrees. Yogurt, various juices, coffee, tea, breakfast cereals, bagels, muffins, and fresh fruit was also served. I wish I had gotten the name of the girl working the breakfast area. She was very, very friendly, and worked hard to keep the area clean, and all items fully stocked. Even the cleaning personnel, were also very, very friendly. When we checked out in the morning, the girl at the desk, does need some lessons in customer service. She was not friendly at all, and I feel like we had bothered her by coming to the desk. Other than that, we had no issues, and will return again.
The hotel is dated but it's fine for a quick overnight. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. They have my favorite(Biscuits and Gravy). The pool was dirty and while I understand this time of year they don't use it, it's an eyesore. It should be drained, cleaned or covered. The light in bathroom activates fan and it's noisy and annoying. You have to listen to the exhaust fan the entire time you are in the bathroom. When you book online or on your mobile the price doesn't reflect additional taxes. Two times my email confirmation regarding price isn't correct and the bill ends up being more. When I asked about it, it's something about an additional tax for a stadium(I think it was) they are building. This time is was almost $3.00 more which isn't much but it's a little frustrating.
There was a beer can left in the room where my toddler could get to, the bathroom door was broke, there were bugs in the room, i was overcharged, and the internet never stayed connected. the lady at the desk seemed unconcerned with the fact that my bill was wrong and basically said you got a good deal on the room so you hav e no complaint.
Quick on and off the interstate, walking distance to many restaurants, great value, very clean, everything in working order... plus an excellent breakfast! Tried other hotels in the area and found nothing better.
I stayed there while in town visiting friends. The Red head young girl at the desk needs a good lesson in manners and how to treat customers. Very rude and disrespectful! You lost my business. Will not recommended to anyone due to horrible customer service..
We always ask for non smoking rooms. This in a non smoking facility so we thought great. Well the smoking area happens to be the steps leading to the side entrance. There were 5 people smoking and shooting the breeze as we entered. 2 of them were sitting on the steps, one on each side, so we had to find our way through the din of people and smoke just to get in the building. Just having to walk through all those people while I was carrying heavy luggage, made me feel uncomfortable and vulnerable. Thank goodness my husband was with me. They acted like it was an inconvenience to them to have to move over to let us pass through, even the ones that were standing! I can't blame their behavior on the management of this hotel but here is a tip to management - Don't have the smoking area right in front of the door where non smoking guest have to pass through it to get in.
Window in room did not close well. Highway noise was somewhat loud so if you stay request a room toward the back. Breakfast was not as good as expected from reviews. I left a portable charger, phone cord and iPad cord + blocks. When I called and told them I left them, there was no offer to see if they were found. Also they said if found I would have to pay (expected) and that I would have to arrange to have them picked up (unexpected). I have never had this difficulty at other chains even though it happens infrequently. Probably will not stay here again. Other chains a little farther off the highway look as nice or nicer. Check your map.
Over heard the housekeepers talking, apparently they are all current prison inmates. NOT who I want in my room with my personal items! Why would you allow this owners?? Was also propositioned by one of the girls. From desk staff needs a course in customer relations. Will never return!
Wish we had looked a little closer at the room before we unpacked. The room door had a terrible squeak, the bathroon sink drain plug was broken, and the bathroom door would not close. Additionally, there we old cigarette butts around the pool area, and the safety equipment at the pool was not operable. We won't be staying here again.
The Breakfast was nice very clean Breakfast Area, everything was very fresh. Liked the fact the Staff was 24 Hour shoul any need arise. Felt really comfortable in the Bed nice linens and soft comfortable pillows.
I made a reservation weeks in advance! I arrived a little after 6:00pm I was told my reservation had been canceled at 4:00 !! They could not tell me why it had been canceled they tried to say my card must have been declined but that was not the case. The hotel apparently starts taking walk ins at 4:00 so they had no more rooms!!!! I drove two hours for a concert and had my reservation number and paperwork in my hand but NO ROOM!!!! The young lady at the desk was kind and I could tell upset that I was upset but still could not provide me a room!
Stayed for 1 night on a stop-over on our way to Branson, Mo. We stayed as a family of 5. We found the hotel to be well suited to our short stay and within a good location with a lot of eateries close by.
Hotel was very clean. Room was good. The unfortunate thing about traveling in the summer on weekends is that you run into a lot of little league teams in the hotels. Running in the halls at 10 o'clock is unacceptable and the young lady at the front desk took care of it within 5 minutes of a call to her. Parents need to step up but they were in the halls drinking their beer. Breakfast was a little above average.
We stayed here to see a concert at the amphitheatre. Front desk staff were nice and answered all my questions. Room was quiet and clean. Carpet in the room and hallway was clean. Breakfast was hot a had a nice variety. Cleaning and breakfast staff were polite. Grounds were clean and well kept. An exterior door on the side of the building did not lock. Made them aware of this and they said they would check on it.
Hotel very quiet and convenient. The staff was very professional and helpful. The Room clean & the bed was comfortable. I had problems with the refrigerator but they sent a service person out immediately and she took care of the problem.
My family (me, my husband, and two young children) needed a place to stop for the night, and this place popped up on Hotels.com. The staff was friendly, everyone of them made an effort to speak with us in passing, checking on our well-being. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was served in the morning and provided the essentials for the start of our day. Would definitely stay here again!
The Best Western Plus Oak Mountain Inn was a great value and we were impressed. We stayed in room 225, a king bed with pull out sofa. It was extremely clean, bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious and kind of L shaped. It was very close to restaurants and the expressway but it was surprisingly pretty quiet minus some kids running down the hall for a short time. The free breakfast was great. They had pastries, bagels, and toast as well as a waffle maker with various toppings. Biscuits and sausage gravy, eggs with shredded cheese on the side for topping, fresh fruits, yogurts and more. They also had a good variety of coffee creamers and travel coffee cups with lids, which you don't always see. They kept everything well stocked while we were there and Katie at the front desk did a great job of coming around and asking everyone how they were doing and if she could get them anything. Also, at check in when we asked if there was were 2 pillows in the room for the pull out sofa (we had 2 kids) the guy at the front desk wasn't sure. When we brought in our luggage he had one ready for us at the desk just in case. There wasn't a second one in the room so we were glad he saved us a trip back downstairs. My only critiques would be that since we had reserved for 4 people it would have been nice to have enough towels, pillows and a blanket for the sofa bed in the room when we got there. There were sheets but no blanket but luckily my kids brought their own. All employees were very nice and helpful and I would definitely recommend this place for someone looking for a nice, clean place to stay with free breakfast, for a lower price than most.
Overall, my experience with the hotel was good. The hotel was very clean on both the interior and exterior. The staff was very friendly. The only issues that I had was the bathroom door not wanting to close and the toilet had to be flushed twice. My room was clean and I loved the whirlpool tub and shower.
The staff was great; check in was quick. The breakfast was normal fare for these types of hotels, but biscuits were dry and eggs runny. Breakfast room was very nice. Elevator floor was sticky the whole time there. I'm sure they would have taken care of this if we'd said something, but it was like this the 2 days we were there.
Excellent Staff very helpful and just plain nice. Clean room, quiet and comfortable. Close to restaurants and easy access to Highway. Close to State Park. Convenient parking. Will be returning in the Fall.
Aside from the freeway noise, this older hotel has a convenient location and is well managed. Many restaurants in walking distance. Internet, pool and gym and everything in working order! Great breakfast and overall excellent value!
The gentlemen that checked me in was very friendly and the room was clean! Location is right off the Interstate. Alot of other hotels were booked up and we arrived late. The price was great. I have no complaints!
We enjoyed our one night stay at Best Western on our way to the beach. It was clean, wifi worked fine, and breakfast was very good with plenty of seating. We look forward to staying again on our trips to the gulf.
This is a Clean hotel with a decent breakfast. Would stay here again. Did not use the pool. Location is close to several restaurants. Limited parking. The side entrance to the hotel (key card) was not working. Told the front desk person, who responded by saying that she couldn't get it to work. Front desk person was pleasant upon arrival.
No complaints at al!! Bed was comfy, room was clean, service was very friendly and breakfast was perfect! Location was right off I65 making it easy to get back on our trip. Thank you for helping our trip be even better??
Nice accommodations. Staff was friendly and competent. Clean and up to date. I used my points to pay for the room and left before breakfast was ready. Definitely will return next year. And, eat the complementary breakfast
Booked two rooms, including one pet friendly. David was a great help in assuring that we would have the pet friendly room when we arrived. David is a great "Multi-Tasker", found him doing many other duties besides manning the front desk. Very good breakfast, plenty of food choices. Our rooms were clean.
Stopped here on our way to Florida and have no regrets at all. Crystal greeted us upon check in, and truly showed her southern hospitality. Very friendly and made one feel very welcomed to the area. Check in was easy. The hotel lobby area, breakfast area, hallways and our room, were all very, very clean. You can tell that the employees take pride in their jobs! Bed was very comfortable, plenty of outlets for all the phones, IPads, etc. TV worked great as well as the wifi. Bathroom had plenty of lighting, and the shower had plenty of hot water. Breakfast was the usual breakfast fare of scrambled eggs, sausage patties, waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt to name a few. Crystal also took care of the breakfast area, and she did an excellent job keeping everything filled up and the whole area clean. The only "complaint" I have is the interstate traffic could be heard. I am a light sleeper, so if you don't mind that, this is the perfect place. It does have easy access to the interstate, and there are numerous restaurants nearby. We would stay here again, if ever in the area.
Stayed here on our way to Florida. Great stay. Reasonably priced. Quiet surroundings. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good selection of eateries close by for dinner the night of arrival. Would definitely stay again.
This place is in an easily accessible area for when I visit family. But then, so are other hotels. What sets this place apart is the consistency of service and that they honor requests on reservations. Their breakfast is always consistent. The staff is friendly and engaging.
Friendly, polite & professional front desk staff. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. I would stay here again if needed. Close to the I-65 exit/entrance ramps. Many restaurants close such as Cracker Barrel,.
We stopped here on the way down to Destin FL. Parking is close to rooms. Good free breakfast. 2 story so if you want to stay on the first floor get a king bed. Pool, fitness and free WiFi. Also easy to book rooms online.
The first thing that I noticed is that it smelled SO good in there. It was clean and cozy. They had it decorated for Christmas. Staff was very attentive and helpful Great location. Great choice of restaurants around. Close to interstate but was still quiet.
Very clean and comfortable. The wi fi was very fast and we had no problems. The staff was so friendly. The breakfast was delicious and hot. They offered so many items. We have marked this as our favorite place to stay as we go from Florida to Oklahoma to see our Grandchildren twice a year.
I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable, clean, hotel, this best western plus(Pelham) is the one..The area is a great location, plus some of all kind of restaurants within walking distance from this hotel..
Although I have stayed here several times, I know I have not written a review in a while. Since I first stayed here, I have stayed in many hotels all over this country and Canada. I just keep coming back here everytime I am in Alabama to visit my granddaughter, I needed to write another review because, indeed, to me, it is the little things that count. The desk help is always so personable and helpful, several additional outlets are provided in the room so that you may charge your phone or your computer, the lights in the bathroom are bright enough to put on makeup (which rarely happens), and the rooms are so clean, well lit, and updated. AND the price is right! Thank you, Best Western, for always making my stay lovely.
Best motel in the Birmingham, AL area bar none. Cleanest, best kept, friendliest staff, best breakfast. Just an all round fun place to stay and visit. Staff are exceptional: courteous, friendly, helpful and kind. Don't stay anywhere else.
I am pretty sure I have already done a review. The hotel is a nice decent place to stay when you do not have a whole lot of money, compared to other cheap hotels. The quirks are not only being safe and clean with good breakfast, it is also right next to the state park, and surrounded by many restaurants and food places. So you have options for entertainment and food. The pool is nice and clean, just be sure to go when no one else is around since it gets crowded fast. Staff is very friendly and the guy that was checking me in last time was hilarious. Overall, this is the hotel that I recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in the area but do not have a whole lot of money.
It is a nice place. beds are comfy and you will wake up rested. Had fridge in room and microwave. I would stay here again and there if i go to this area. People working desk were nice.Everything in room was in working order.
Very clean spacious rooms, very friendly staff. Great breakfast; have to have flavored creamer for my coffee and they have it! Great location, very close to Oak Mtn state park and close to lots of good restaurants. It's our go to place to stay when we come to the park!
We stay at this Best Western quite a bit , Love the location , lots of nearby restaurants , stores , and very close to 65 North , it's right off exit 246. Clean rooms and Friendly Staff . Breakfast choices good also.
Despite being immediately next to the Interstate the developer had the good sense to set the building perpendicular to road which makes the traffic noise inperceptible. Staff is helpful. Parking spaces wide for easy luggage movement. Breakfast is 6am-9:30am to facilitate getting back on the road.
This isn't the first time I have written this review. Do not count on having a hot or stocked breakfast..our last visit the food was cold and the second day they didn't have everything stocked and we were before 7 am. DO count on very good customer service at the front desk.
Best Western, in my opinion, has exceeded what other hotels offer. We travel about 20 days a year and use to do Holiday Inn until each hotel complex updated their sites. Holiday Inn is not up to the new Best Western standard. This site, in particular, has exceeded my standards. I will only stay at Best Western's in the future.
I was disappointed in rolling back the sheets to find them dirty, along with stepping on waffle fries left by the previous people that stayed before us, we took sheets to front desk and she gave us fresh ones with no apology, nor offering a discount for the rooms appearance. when we checkout we were never asked how are stay was and nothing was noted on our room for a discount or maybe that a manager would be in contact about the rooms condition. disappointed.
Very nice, well maintained hotel for the money and conveniently located off of the expressway. The staff were friendly and helpful despite being extremely busy trying to help folks find a room due to hurricane Irma.
Pleasant place to stay. Room has enough space to prepare your next day presentations. Staff is helpful and well prepared. There is a pretty standard breakfast but works ok. Internet connection works excellently. IT system remembers you next day as well, Internet and room key.
Lovely location, access to Birmingham and local attractions. Hotel is nice and well maintained, great breakfast and exceptionally friendly, helpful staff team. Pool and fitness room are good. Pelham area is pleasant and Oak amounts in Park is right next to the hotel.
The folks at Best Western have worked hard to make the hotel there first rate. Very clean and very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast is fresh and a good selection. More improvements are on the way, the staff tells me.
checking in the young lady was care free and very uniformatve, appearance was terrible t.v. was so loud on RAP music I could barely hear her then at check out there wasnt a front desk clerk so I didn't get my receipt house keepins said she had stepped out and would be back later .. WOW .. very un professional not sure I will EVER stay there again
Check-in was simple. Room was for a handicapped person so everything was handicapped accessible (no one was handicap) room was dirty with cigar wrappers and bed had nasty pillows cases. Plug outlets was nasty with dirt and crumbs. Window was open.. so anyone who is on the first floor Please check windows because someone could come through window and steal all your belongings.... Hot breakfast was ok.. the Host was mad annoying and at checkout told her about our stay and the issues we experienced she said:"ok well we will send you a copy of your receipt".. Never will stay here again.!
This stay was 45 minutes away from the University of Alabama where my step daughter is attending graduate school. The Best Western in Tuscaloosa was completely booked and we decided to make the drive in order to stay where we new we would be comfortable. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and courteous and that's what we love about Best Western Properties. We have grown accustomed to the hospitality and will go out of our way to stay at a Best Western every time!
I was very please to have several creamer flavors to chose from. My husband was disappoint there was not gravey. The room was very nice and comfortable. When we checked in the staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating.
The entire staff was amazing and helpful! Our room was clean and everything was in working order! The pool was clean and not overly chlorinated. You can't beat the price either! We will definitely be staying again!
I loved it, the outdoor pool, the breakfast and staff. Close to other amenities. The beds were comfortable just like home. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area and need a place to stay.
Close to the Hwy and several restaurants. Large crowds made breakfast a little challenging. Staff unable to keep up and not much seating for large families. Room was clean. No major problems. Would stay there again.
Excellent. Clean, comfortable beds, and great price. Convenient to freeway, restaurants and shopping. Free and tasty breakfast. Courteous staff. We were traveling to Michigan from Florida and normally take I 75. We probably won't take I 65 again as that route was 150 miles farther. To all those who are traveling this route this is a great place to stay.
BW had been slipping in a couple of catagories, like cleanliness and so we began to avoid staying at BW. Years have passed without BW and we have become used to very clean, well arranged rooms and a nice breakfast. With the "Plus" now on the title we decided to give BW a try again and were happily rewarded with a very nice stay. It was clean, had a nice breakfast and overall it was back on our radar for a place to stay.
Pleasant staff and good location. Rooms certainly nothing special for price you pay., way overpriced. Hot breakfast food was disgusting and made my husband sick. Best Western is usually not my first pick and I can remember why
Slept there two nights. Great bed, nice breakfast, attentive staff at check-in and check-out. Air is a little humid, but I find that to be common in modestly priced motel/hotels. A little extra AC helped.
Great hotel. Friendly staff. Fabulous bed. Great breakfast!!! Easy to find. Did not use pool. Can't leave comment on that. Awesome shower. We used the Best Western as a stop over on our way to Florida.
We stayed here one night passing through AL on our way to Florida. It was the first night of our roadtrip and the beds were just what we needed to rest. The staff was friendly and helpful, shower and beds were perfect, pool was great and breakfast the next morning was a major bonus -- my kids LOVED it!
Broken hinges, toilet seats and faucets should be fixed before allowing guest to use room. Cleaning staff and or management are responsible to make sure everything is working correctly, not guest that are staying for the night while traveling.
I have stayed at this hotel several times, and this visit had a surprise! The rooms have been remodeled and there is absolutely NO smoke smell at all! It looks and smells like a new place! I will continue to stay here on upcoming visits to the area!
Very clean hotel. The area has a great deal of restaurants within 1 mile. The staff was excellent in sharing information and recommending restaurants. The breakfast was also great but, for some reason did not serve a meat for breakfast. Everything else you could ask for was presented. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is 20-30 easy minutes from the Birmingham Airport. Wonderful place to stay.
Very pleasant stay at motel. Attractive room and foyer. Good breakfast. We will stay here again. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Near I-65, which made it convenient, but there was some noise due to proximity to the Interstate.
Everything was good about this hotel.. however the fan did not work in the bathroom. Also the area behind the toilet has not been cleaned in months. The lobby and remainder of the room was good. Location and quietness were the perks
We stayed at this hotel on 6/2/17. Hotel was clean. Our room was clean and hotel staff were friendly. Continental breakfast was good and what you typically see offered. Our only complaint was the temperature. Our room was hot even with the thermostat set at the lowest possible temperature. The hallways were even hot. Would stay here again for an overnight. It is right off the exit which is one reason we chose it. We did not hear any interstate noise.
Best value in the area. There was some type of sports event in town and many other hotels were offering rates that were crazy high. This location was a few miles away from but was an amazing value (30-40% lower). Since the ratings were high, I took a chance and was very happy with the outcome. Free, hot breakfast and fast internet were added bonuses. One complaint? The four pillows on the king size bed were TINY! A square about the size of 1/2 of a standard pillow (1/3 the size of a king-size pillow). I didn't ask if they had any others so I can't really complain too much. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The young lady at the front desk make us feel welcome from the moment we walked in looking for the room. She was very sweet and helpful. The room was very clean and the location was close to everything we wanted to do
The Best Western is convenient to I-65 and a large selection of chain restaurants. The room was good sized and quite clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Internet was balky, not good if you are working and in a hurry. Breakfast was a mediocre selection, e.g. only one type of bagel and no cream cheese. But there are plenty of places to get a sit down or fast food breakfast. Price was very reasonable.
This hotel has a complete make over. Room was thoroughly cleaned. The best selection I've seen for breakfast items! Highly recommend this location! Internet was not working for me but want in the room long enough to worry about it.
Front desk was not a nice person. No power, no shower because no hot water no breakfast besides sweet rolls husband is diabetic. Have they not heard of generators? No comp. at least a little toward breakfast since I pd for breakfast with my room
This is 3rd time staying here. We come every year for Talladega and we much prefer this hotel over those closer to the track. The staff is always friendly and caring and the property is always well maintained.
We accompanied our youth group to Alabaster for fine arts. The youth pastor selected this hotel because of price I'm sure. This place was a dump. For starters the chain on our toilet kept falling off. Had to keep fixing it. Continental breakfast was very weak. Powdered eggs were dry, sausage gravy was like water. Not much of a selection. Next time I will pay whatever extra for a better hotel.
Very good for the money. Made you feel just like home. They even came around at breakfast to freshen up our coffee at our table. We did not even ask for that. i have never been approched for that option. It was a very nice touch.
This facility has become a regular when When I take a trip to Florida or the Mississippi Gulf Coast after 8 hours driving its a quality waypoint to rest. Excellent staff, always very clean, near many restaurants. I would highly recommend
Stayed a night for concert at Amphitheater. Able to have short walk so not deal with driving/parking. Very comfortable stay for low cost. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good sized rooms. Yummy breakfast.
A good value and quality hotel that I would return over and over again. Clean and comfortable hotel with excellent housekeeping. Presentable breakfast menu. Friendly and helpful staff to make me feel welcome.
I go to best westerns because they are consistently great, you know you will have a quiet nights sleep even next to the hwy. Rooms are sound proof and always clean. Have been on the road for12 days and spent 9 in bestwestern. Other times no B.W. Available.
The night manager was a very professional lady with an excellent personality. She was very helpful and courteous. Rooms spacious and clean. The only complaint I had was there was a bad drip in the shower and the exhaust fan in the bathroom was very noisy.
We stopped here on our way south. We always enjoy Best Western as they are usually clean, they have a pleasant staff, and a good hot breakfast, This place covered all of these and you will not be disappointed if you make this stop in your journey!
We were traveling through on our way to Miami and stopped at the BW for one night. The young lady at the counter was super friendly, our room was ready and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Had breakfast on our way out the next morning, they had a nice variety. Wonderful stay, and would recommend and stay again if ever traveling through Pelham!
Older hotel, but clean. Very comfortable for 1 night as we drove to florida. Had a child get car sick on way and the VERY NICE staff helped us out by letting us wash clothes!! Madison (front desk) saved our trip!!! Thanks so much for going out of your way to help us out!!!
Comfortable room and friendly staff. Small issue with TV remote not working on/off or volume (not the first time this has happened with the Clean brand remote). Highway going south is right around the corner.
This is a great property to stay at you could not find a better place that's A great budget nice clean safe and quiet good breakfasts and the people that works at the front desk is outstanding the Internet is also great
For the price, this place can't be beat. However, you do get what you pay for here, and what you pay for is a serviceably clean room with a decent bed, a few aesthetic dings, and a relatively safe atmosphere. Over the past few years, my family and I have stayed here many times, often for one night stays en route to holiday destinations. Recently, we have noticed that the upkeep of the rooms appears to have slipped a bit. On our last two visits, we have found the bathrooms unswept and trash unchanged. Small things, sure, but who wants to have to wear socks all night to avoid stepping in someone else's hair? In short, know that you will get what you pay for here. If you want next level cleanliness and accoutrements, consider continuing on to Birmingham and staying at one of the less modestly priced hotels around the I-459 corridor. I find that those hotels can be had for around $50 more a night than this Best Western, on average.
This was our first time staying in this best western, as we traveled to Florida we stoped and stayed here. Check in process was simple and fast, the room was nice and clean. The breakfast options were limited but everything was still good. Overall a great stay.
Our stay was good, comfy bed etc. but one night I needed a pair of scissors to trim some shoe inserts. I went to the front desk and asked Felicia if I could borrow a pair of scissors. She was sitting in the lobby with her feet up watching tv and she flat out rudely said "no". The next morning when Rene was working I asked her if she had some I could use and she didn't hesitate to hand them to me from the front desk.
The people that work at the hotel were very friendly and the room was clean. The air conditioner/fan did not work properly so it was difficult to control the temperature in the room. We had an issue with the bathtub and sink not draining and they were quick to fix the issue. The breakfast was not as good as other Best Western's where I have stayed. There was no bacon, the eggs had a funny texture and the bagel choices were limited. For what we needed which was a place to sleep it was fine.
We spent the night passing through on vacation and was pleased with the staff, the cleanliness, the hotel itself, and the parking lot. Felt comfortable and we got a good night sleep and a warm good breakfast. Would recommend staying if in the area.
Nice clean hotel with professional staff. Enjoyable stay.. Comfortable bed. I love all the pillows! Breakfast area neat clean and well stocked. I would stay again if I was in the area. A great family hotel.
Found this hotel after the one we previously stayed in was $200+. Late night check in was fast and easy, lovely people, perfectly clean room, GREAT bed (firm but comfortable)-I have a bad back, so this is important. Breakfast buffet was better than most...we got there with only 15 minutes left, and there was plenty of everything. They even asked us if we needed more of anything. The sausage gravy with chunks of sausage was yummy, and they had real butter! Biscuits were fluffy, and warm. Perfect for an overnight stopover! Will stay here again on our way through!
We stopped here on out way to Destin, Fla. Very nice and clean. Great stop over for the night. We arrived late, and our room was waiting for us. Because of the huricane, the motel was full and parking was very limited. Finally found a place to park close.
This morning at breakfast a young lady by the name of Kayla was so nice and helpful to everyone. You are lucky to have an employee like her. Her attitude made a great start to the day. Also, the rooms were clean and the price was reasonable.
The stay was great. The staff are very nice. The rooms are very cozy and kept up. The breakfast was great. Kayla did a great job at it. She was very outgoing and always made sure I had what I needed..
breakfast was a disappointment. quality of food needs to be improved especially the biscuits staff performed basic job had to wait for clerk at checkin she rattled off the breakfast serving time just like a little robot. she was pleasant but did not display much personality or show apprecitation for us being there.
we stayed here three nights. it is right next to I 65 so it's convenient for travelers and it's on a strip with tons of restaurants. The downside was the beds were uncomfortable, it smelled smokey even though you're not supposed to smoke there. the cleaning staff told us if we wanted to smoke they didn't care because they were work release people from the prison, but we should blow the smoke out of the window because if other hotel staff caught us we would be fined $200. well, great thanks. we don't smoke so they told the wrong people to blow the smoke out of the window.
When I checked in the front desk was very prompt and she was very friendly and polite. Got checked in and the room was clean and a nice comfortable temperature. My stay was quiet and relaxing each night when I came in. Exactly the restful place I needed.
Hands down one of the best and most comfortable Hotel in the area. I stayed here through my company work related reasons and would come here every time if available. Kayla Danford has got to be one of the best housekeepers I've come acrossed she will always make sure you have what you need and have it waiting for you. She will make sure that you are taking care of and make you feel like at home I truly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit the Birmingham area. Lot of restaurants and sightseeing close by also
The room smelt musty from mildew and previous tenant smokers. It could've very well been the leave in carpet cleaner I smelt. But the funk hit me when I first went in, which I assume is because the bathroom is right next to the entrance. Aside from the smell that assaulted your senses, when you walked in, it went away. The pillows were soft but not too flimsy. They were so good that I wish I'd remembered what the brand and all was so I could go out and buy some for at home. The bathtub faucet plinked all night long. I hate to see their water bill.
Nice motel, close to good restaurant. Office lady very helpful and told me where the restaurant was. The motel is easy on/off from the freeway. Gas stations and restaurants close by. I definitely would stay here again.
I booked this location last minute and couldn't have been happier. The front desk staff was awesome and very helpful. It was nice to have fridge and microwave in the room. I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the workout room was a bonus.
This hotel is easy accessible and close to the interstate. Very quiet, clean and peaceful. Will stay here again. Staff was professional and offered service whenever we needed. Room had BW standards and quality throughout.
I would like to say I did not have a nice stay. At checking in told the guy I wanted to pay for 1 night he insisted I pay for both up front. I am an employee. I know how the system works. So I went ahead and said I would because he said I could get a refund for the second night. Which was a hard time to get .he kept telling me they will send me a check. I said no so he gave me 40 something out of drawer. Which was not correct. My employee rate for first night was wrong also. So I will call bestwestern monday.not only that, his attitude was not great until I told my husband to walk in. And by the way . I am not just an employee I am a Manager.... not a great stay at all I went to another motel and paid double for a nice stay. By the way fix the towel Holder. It just fell when we grabbed a towel.
Booked this hotel in advance of visit to UAB Hospital due to the cost difference between it and another hotel we had stayed at recently. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Had an issue with the TV that the attendant handled immediately. Temperature in the room was hard to keep controlled during night, seemed to alternate between too hot and too cold. The room on the 1st floor was not very soundproof. Heard lots of slamming doors and traffic noises during the night. Read other reviews that the 3rd and 4th floor are better but we needed a handicapped accessible room and were happy it was on the 1st floor for that reason. Coffee at breakfast was very good, and they had a vast assortment of creamers/sweeteners. Also, lots of choices for breakfast (eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, cereal, breakfast breads, waffles, yogurt, juice and milk.) They kept the breakfast area clean and well stocked throughout the morning. Overall, it was a decent hotel/room for the money.
great breakfast and friendly staff! Our room was also extremely clean and it was easy to get extra towels when we needed them. Jamie made us a great meal and kept everything stocked and cleaned for every guest.
Service, amenities, and over all experience was fantastic. I have never stayed at a 4 or 5 star establishment before ; but cant imagine it any greater than this experience. The breakfast was very good too.
Nice place, clean and great hot breakfast. Stayed overnight while passing through. Called ahead and we were able to get 2 rooms next to each other. Would stay here again. Close access to Highway made it easy to get back on the road the next morning.
Just wanted to share we enjoyed our stay. I stayed with a group of figure skaters and other moms. A big shout out of thanks to Jamie--the staff member who was always working and had a smile on her face always. She worked at the breakfast buffet and later saw her cleaning rooms. She was so sweet to our kiddos. She needs to be promoted! Clean room and comfortable beds. Kids really enjoyed the pool and we appreciated your keeping it open a little later than normal. We would stay again. Thanks much for a great stay!
We had a group booked for the weekend. This was a $2000+ booking. The air was out in five out of nine rooms booked. Four rooms got to trade, but one room could not due to the hotel being full. We got stuck in elevator. No service at front, due to lack of training. OUT of towels. The manager didn't repair the air for the weekend. No one was available to speak to. The poor girl at the font was new and had zero training.
We stayed over night on our way to PCB. Room was nice, clean, pool was clean although a huge storm came through about an hour before we got there. The fitness center was locked although it said it was open until 8 or 9 and we arrived at 5:30 so I'm not sure if there was a reason for it being deadbolted. Our only complaint was when we came back from dinner, we opened our door and were hit with a very strong marijuana smell (my husband and I both work in secondary schools so we are very familiar with that smell!) it was so strong that we really didn't want our 5 year old to be in there all night. My husband went down to speak to the front desk who informed us that we couldn't switch rooms because they were booked (we were disappointed but understood) she said she would spray something but that was only in the hallway. That was our one complaint...not against the hotel per say but against the people doing it!! Lol
Worse B/W Plus we ever stayed at....never again at this one..dog barking continually for approx 2 hours until front desk finally got ahold of owners that left it in a room by itself. After driving for 12 hours that day we just wanted to rest. Room stunk when we 1st got in it until we got the air turned on, the refrigerator switch was on back very inconvenient.
My family and I had a wonderful over night stay. We checked in around 7pm and both receptionists were as sweet as could be. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Beds are very comfortable. Plenty of TV channels and free WiFi. Full breakfast in the morning and it was wonderful. Checkout was easy and Nick was very courteous. We would stay here again. 5 stars for Best Western in Pelham,AL.
I have stayed at Best Western Plus several times in the last 2 years on business trips. The surrounding grounds and parking lot, hotel lobby and guest rooms are always clean, neat and welcoming. I am a female traveling alone and feel safe staying here. The breakfast is very good with an excellent variety of food. This is a very good value for the price.
Best Western in Pelham was a very lovely place to stay the evening. I really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. Jaime was a pleasure!! The breakfast was really satisfying!
Best Western Staff was wonderful to the girls. Very helpful and very considerate. Let us host meetings in the lobby late at night and even went as far as to wash some uniforms for the girls. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were always stocked with necessities. We will definitely be back.
This was a spur of the moment travel stay on the way back east. Absolutely an excellent hotel - just the best. Super comfortable bed, great TV, wonderful shower and linens. The breakfast items are top of the line. The first place I have ever had caramel creamers. Bigelow teas - all kinds. Free USA. Very professional staff.
The hotel is very clean and Chrystal at the desk is cheerful and very helpful. Have stayed on the property twice this month and both stays were great! Highly recommend . Lots of restaurants close easy access from I-65. We dined at the Margarita Bar and Grille ( about 3 blocks away) and I'll be doing a rating of excellent on it.??
This hotel was great. The location was wonderful, it was easily accessible from the interstate and close to gas stations, restaurants, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at both the size of the rooms and how quiet they were. We never heard anything out of any other guests! Every staff member we encountered was very friendly, and of course, the continental breakfast was excellent. All in all, this hotel was another great example of why I try to only book Best Western hotels when i travel.
I live about 30 minutes from this hotel. I needed a night away from home(I'm 21 and live at home still) and this was totally worth it. I was skeptical about paying for a hotel room half an hour away, but this was great!
The hotel is right off the freeway, it is clean and staff is friendly and helpful. It isn't the best of the best, but definitely an ok place to stop for the night. I saw no bugs (my main concern always) and other than a stale smell in the hallway, the rooms were nice. They even came up to help us figure out how to get our TV working. If you go be sure and hit the Margarita Grille for dinner, a great place to eat and relax.
We had the cleanest room ever and Kaila at the front desk was extremely helpful, no matter what the question, she answered with a smile. She was really pleasant and very friendly, no matter what and how many times, Kaila always answered and reacted very efficiently, professionally and always with a nice smile. Thanks to Kaila for really making our stay so good.
The staff was very friendly and helpful; the room was very attractive, clean and comfortable; and the free breakfast had many appealing choices which were constantly replenished by a watchful, friendly "hostess". We would be happy to stay there again.
I was greatly impressed with how helpful the staff were and appreciated their willingness to answer questions about a promotion that was currently running. The room was great and internet worked very well.
Booked via Hotels.com and received a great rate for a large, dbl queen room 20 minutes south of Birmingham on I-65. At 1/2 the rate for staying in the city, it comes with a large flat screen TV, microwave, fridge and breakfast (large selection of items) in a quite area with several restaurants (fast food & sit down) within 3 miles.
We have stayed at this Best Western many times and have always had great service and the rooms are clean . They also have a free breakfast in the morning thats a plus if you have children . The rooms are all in the inside also, which is great. Friendly staff also.
when registering we requested a king bed for my spouse and myself. Our king bed was firm and we were able to sleep comfortably for about nine hours. Our room was on the 3rd floor. The motel was very quiet. Hot breakfast was included with our stay the next morning and was quite tasty.
Check in easy but clerk not aware of close by businesses, especially the funeral home down the street. Room was clean and everything was satisfactory. The check out clerk was very courteous and aware of our situation, even gave us a box of tissues to take with us. I thought that was going the "extra mile". I would recommend this hotel to others.
My family & I were passing through to get to my daughters boot camp graduation in South Carolina. Best Western Plus was very nice. Front desk, housekeeping , & breakfast attendant excellent customer service. I forgot my jacket in my room and they saved it for me to pick up when I was passing through on my way home. The only thing I would say negative is hair all over the bathroom floor and the bath towels are see through. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We passed through on our way to spring break on the beach. We basically just planned to sleep and get back on the road, with low expectations on the hotel based on the cheap rates. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. Chris was on duty and was super nice and helpful. I teased him that I expected hot cookies, and he delivered! Breakfast was average at best, but I won't complain for the price we paid. Staff in thr morning was super friendly, especially the lady in charge of stocking breakfast. We would stay here again.
Very nice clean room! Coffee and blow dryer included. Comfy beds! Right amount of blankets pillows towels and wash clothes. Room thermostats worked great! Very economical room rates! Huge breakfast choices! The people were friendly and helpful . We even got pizza delivered . Very pleased!
We stayed 1 night. The room was OK. There was drunken revelry in hall late in the night. The TV channel listing was out of date and no staff person could figure out how to help even though I talked to two different people. One said she would get a new listing for us which she did not, and the other just scratched his head and said that he thought those old listings had been removed.
We stayed on March 11 2016. Our room was a very good size. King bed and sleeper sofa. Also had fridge and microwave. The only real complaint that I have is that the ice machine (3rd Floor) was out of order. Other than that, all was good.
We stayed here overnight before an early meeting nearby. The staff were all friendly and nice. The location is close to several food choices (sit down and fast-food options). Our room was fine - clean enough and all amenities seemed to be in working order. The breakfast was not crowded at all, but we were also there during the week. I imagine on the weekend if there is a crowd the lobby is very busy during breakfast.
Room was small even though nice decor. I had to get out of the way for my room partner to pass between end of bed and dresser. This cramped feeling caused me to not sleep well. I chose Best Western PLUS expecting a spacious room.
This location is conveniently located just off the highway. We found the room to be up to date and very clean. Had a nice breakfast before continuing our trip to Florida. We would definitely stop here again.
Stayed here for one night, was in the king suite, very spacious. The sofa bed was in an area of the room that was private from the other sleeping area. This room was had been updated very nicely, the room had 2 windows which was nice. There were a lot of food options for breakfast. Was very convenient to the freeway. Very happy with my stay.
Hotel was typical moderate cost hotel and would have been fine but was infested with Lady Bugs. They were dropping off the ceiling and falling on us. Someone in a management position told me it was good luck (said in a good natured way) and we moved. There was only 1 Lady Bug in the new room. Will avoid this location in the future.
Helpful and friendly staff with excellent breakfast.clean rooms and comfortable beds.Looking forward to my next stay when im in town.Told all my family and friends about this place and they have a gym complete with free weights another plus.
Perfect location on the way south! After a long days drive, was wonderful to be greeted like family! Breakfast was just what we needed...a good selection for both of us; coffee to go was an extra....... Many thanks to you all!
Front Desk very nice and helpful.Beds were great. Nice location. Would stay again.Loved the shopping around the area.oak Mountain park was a great place to see. Breakfast was nice and hot.Had every thing you would want.
I stayed at this hotel recently on the way to the beach. The staff was very friendly & the rooms were clean & comfortable. Front desk was very helpful & housekeeping exceptional! I would highly recommend this hotel! Fe Fe
The beds were great and the front desk personel were professional . Great stay for the price. Nice location and we felt safe. Pool was just right. Recommend highly. Right off the interstate and easy to find. The shopping. Mall (the galleria) was close enough we could go shopping.
Stopped in after a long day of driving and was greeted by the front desk clerk who has great customer service skills check in was a breeze our room was clean and comfy.. i will be back here again the next time i am in this area...
I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend this hotel as the place to stay. The rooms were very comfortable with a microwave and refrigerator, a larger than normal television. This is a great place to stay!
I stayed at the hotel for a concert being held at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater and had a fantastic experience. Friendly staff got me checked into my room quickly and easily. It was everything I could want in a hotel: the room was very spacious and clean, there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance (Chick fil a, cracker barrel, hooters, etc.), and every one of the staff members I encountered was very pleasant and eager to greet me with a smile. I will definitely be staying here again when im back in this area.
We have learnt from experience that Best Westerns are usually good places to stay and again this one was no exception. The welcome we received was up to the excellent standard we have come to expect. The room was clean and comfortable, with good wifi. The breakfast was of a good quality. All in all an excellent stopping off point
Absolutely love staying at this hotel. I travel for my job and if I'm in North Alabama, I stay at this hotel. Very comfortable beds, clean nice rooms for a great price. The Hotel Staff are very nice and friendly. Makes you feel like you are coming home. I highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure
I checked in for a couple of hours the front desk clerk Kimberly assist me with a smile. Little that I knew she was going to STEAL MY IDENTITY. When I went to pay my credit card bill the bank informed me of a purchase in Alabama. I knew exactly who did it. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel with those type of employees. When I called to speak with the manager I spoke to Rene who was very nasty and protective of her employee. I told her I am just trying to inform you of your employee stealing your customers identity. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL PEOPLE
My husband and I were in the area for a family member's wedding and stayed there 2 nights. Great area with plenty of restaurants and not too far away from an outlet mall that we took advantage of going to while there. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in any hotel. I made waffles both mornings in the waffle machine and they came out really good. WE would definitely stay there again.
Unfortunately we were booked for 5 nights. When we checked in we advised the clerk that we were adding 2 nights to our reservations of 3 nights. She said we had to do the 2 night stay and then on the morning of the original reservation, we had to advise the desk that we had reservations for 3 more nights. She told us that we would be able to stay in our room etc. Well on Friday, I went and advised the desk and they told me that I had to switch rooms due to our having a reservation for a handicap room. We did not reserve a handicap room. I was then also disappointed everyday when the maid service said they completed our room, but yet the room was never vacuumed the whole time we were there, they did not leave the proper towels, wash clothes, floor mat, coffee, cups, etc. We were very disappointed with this hotel and room.
2 desk clerks were speaking in front of me concerning me and what was being said was not correct and i said so.well 1 of them said i was not talking to you.then do not speak concerning me in front of me and be wrong about what your saying and not expect me to correct you.very rude.its human nature when your being spoken about in front of you and its wrong to say something to correct what is being said.i was correct and she was wrong
Front desk clerk was very nice. Arrived late so was anxious to get to our room. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was the usual. 'Nothing fancy but adequate. We noticed the desk clerk was going back and forth from helping with the breakfast and the back to the desk which seemed odd to me but whatever works! I would definitely stay there again.
The room was average. The worker at check in was slightly rude. When we got to the room the lights and all tv equipment were unplugged, even cable boxes. The front desk worker said this was cause of cleaning. Well..... They must have missed the fridge with the leftover pizza box in it! "Hot breakfast" was the usual. Waffles, toast, bagels, etc. could have used some bacon or sausage. Plus side was the beds were comfortable.
The staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in. Bed was awesome. Internet was very easy and fast. Breakfast would have been better with real eggs instead of powdered ones. I felt very safe staying here while traveling alone.
Conveniently located just off I-65. Easy to find. Building and surrounding area were clean. Rooms clean and well appointed. Abundant places to eat nearby. 8 minute walk to amphitheatre. To boot Ms. Bridgette behind the counter is lovely! NOTE: Use Best Western's main website to secure and guarantee your reservation.
The hotel is conveniently located in Pelham, and within walking distance from the Oak Mountain Amphitheater. The room was clean and comfortable, however nei ther the phone nor the microwave worked, there was no phone book or guide for local restaurants, shopping, etc., and the breakfast was mediocre at best. Still, it was not a bad experience at all. I would stay there again.
We enjoyed our 2-night stay. Oak Mountain State Park is just down the road. There were good restaurants super close and the Hotel was quiet and nice. Having breakfast cooked and ready each morning was nice also.
Our stay was very short - used just for sleeping. Excellent king bed. The overall experience was very pleasant and comfortable. Good complimentary breakfast which served both hot and cold items. There were plenty of other restaurants and shopping opportunities in the area if one stayed here for an extended period.
