The Arlington Hotel, BW Signature Collection

Great small boutique hotel as every room has themed decor - we stayed in the Agatha Christie room on third floor. Hotel is easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants and the Grand River, Rooms are very clean, very quiet. On site free parking. Very friendly staff and a decent breakfast included. There are two on site restaurants that looked nice although we didn't eat at the hotel. Highly recommend as the place to stay in Paris.

Loved this hotel full of history! Amazing customer service, the food at the library bar was unique and delicious, the room was huge and nicely decorated with a literary theme (we had the J.R.R. Tolkien room). The old cellar bar in the basement was a really cool added bonus to check out!

The Arlington is a wonderfully situated hotel in the heart of Paris, Ontario. Each room is themed, which makes every stay unique. It is affordable, with better pricing than local Airbnbs. Our room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately, while breakfast is included, it is not high quality. We attended at 9:40 AM and there were no clean plates or coffee mugs left, and the food was either gone or cold. I had to ask the concierge to replenish the plates and eggs. The next day, my partner and I got breakfast across the road at the Dog Eared coffee shop. Another annoyance was that the TVs do not have Netflix, Disney, etc. so you are stuck with watching whatever is on the local channels, rather than being able to stream your own. Casting from my phone to the TV did not work because the TV was not on the network and I was unable to add it due to setting restrictions. All in all, this is a great value stay and the staff are very attentive and friendly. However, the breakfast is skippable.

The hotel has old bones but some updates have been made. The room was spacious and clean but there were signs that it needed some love; holes in the wall that were not repaired, wall paper peeling in spots and water damage on the walls in the bathroom. The shower water temperature was also inconsistent and never got truly hot. The location is ideal but the price point is high for the lack of attention to detail.

The hotel is old but the room was adequate and clean. Parking is free but difficult to access on site. The problem is they'll tell you they can accommodate any dietary requirements. This is not true. Both the hotel and wedding venue did not provide suitable options for gluten free diets. If you have celiac disease, this may not be a safe place to eat.

My wife and I have never been too Paris Ontario before and decided to spend a night at the Arlington . First thing to note is that the parking is limited behind the hotel , we waited a bit and got lucky as someone left after about 20 minutes of sitting . Check in went smooth with no issues , stayed in the Sigmund Freud room which was ok , large enough but not anything special , 7/10 for room . The bar in the basement looked like it would have been fun but even on a Saturday it was not open . There is a bar on the main floor but the beer selection was bad , the bartender told us the gas on the beer lines wasn't working so it's all flat . So we went down the street and ate and had drinks . Get back to the hotel around 9-10 pm and there was a wedding going on across the street and people were coming and going from the Arlington . Luck would have it that some of the party goers from the wedding were staying in the room beside us on the 3rd floor . The screaming and partying went on until about 3am that night . We called the front desk a few times and finally someone came up and asked them to tone it down . So a restful night it was not . Breakfast which was included was very very average , zero special about that , so we ate elsewhere , coffee was good though . Not sure I would stay at the Arlington again , if you do I'd make sure there isn't a wedding going on because it really put a damper on having a restful night . Not worth the price tag that night for sure ! Average Hotel that could be much better would summarize everything .

My son got married at Rivers Edge, the Arlington Hotel is conveniently across the street. We had a junior suite, that was spacious and clean. Enough room to get ready prior to the ceremony. Each room is decorated uniquely! The bed was comfortable and noise minimal. The library bar looked beautiful, being somewhat local, I will be back to enjoy it when I have more time. If you're in the area, this is the place to stay.

I'll start by saying that I was happy with my room. It was the “Leonard Cohen” room. It was quiet and until the last night, very comfortable. I was there for work. I'm not an alarmist by any stretch, but at 1 am on my last night I was awoken suddenly and every single light was on in my room. I did NOT leave the lights on when I went to bed. Frankly speaking, it was terrifying because I couldn't figure out how or why it happened. I couldn't sleep the rest of the night. The next morning I asked the person at the front desk if they had complaints about electrical issues and she said they did not. I've never had a “paranormal” experience previously, but I honestly felt that was what happened. I looked up the hotel and it apparently has a history of those types of activities. I guess I'm glad I didn't know that before-hand or I would have been more scared.

We had appetizers and drinks after the wedding ceremony. It was wonderful and great staff. I would recommend this to anyone for their wedding. We had to go across the road for the reception but it was a nice day. Mind you, the older ladies had to walk across the road. Food is delicious.

The hotel is well-located, right downtown near the river, shopping, restaurants. It is very clean, and has lots of character, with each suite having a different décor theme. Ours was Alice in Wonderland and well decorated accordingly. Communication and service was excellent right from booking through check-in. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is a slight step above the typical continental breakfast included at many hotel chains, with hot and cold options. Definitely recommend for a 1-2 night stay to attend an event nearby, or a unique getaway.

4.5! This location was perfect for us and the price was within our budget! The staff were ALL amazing, friendly and helpful! They allowed us to bring our bikes into our room for safekeeping which meant a lot :) The rooms are all "themed" which I thought was a nice touch and very clean and spacious for the two of us. There was a breakfast included which I was not expecting and it was REALLY GOOD and just enough to start our day off perfectly! My only quibble is that the bed wasn't very comfortable :( boo hoo lol! Otherwise, a wonderful experience!!

Very disappointed, no parking, no handicap assistance, Luke warm hot water, apparently was breakfast but we were not informed, for the high price not impressed, could have stayed elsewhere for less with much better amenities. Our mistake

I stayed at the Arlington hotel for a wedding ,my room was on the top floor ,a very dark and dingy unattractive room with a small hidden window in a alcove of the room badly in need of a update with at least bright paint ,the cost was $259 for one night , not a nice experience,not a very nice price either.
