Je m’inscris It smells. Im in room 105 and it smells like a combo of wet dog, stale cigarette smoke and dirty socks. The lobby is so over perfumed with fake fragrance I got a headache and I'm not usually sensitive to that kind of stuff. It's very very busy for a weeknight. I regret stopping here and wish I'd have drove on to stay near Boise
One of the best night sleep I've had in a hotel bed. Was quite comfortable. Also did not notice noise from rooms around us which was really nice. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly upon arrival. Greeted us kindly and helped us with any needs we had.
I arrived late and check in was quick and detailed. Room was quite and clean, bed was comfortable. Good place to stay. Recommended.
Was told 140 for the night. Charged 233. The overall experience was great. Just irritated about being told a different price
I am a regular at this BW - many hotel choices in this area to pick from but I enjoy this hotel - Jennifer that works at the front desk is always professional and makes you feel special
Friendly staff, nice breakfast and amenities Partially remodeled, very clean Close to freeway yet still quiet
I would recommend this Best Western when in Ontario Oregon. The staff was excellent, clean hotel and comfortable room. This is a popular hotel so book early for the best rates. I love the Best Western standards. You don't get the same quality at other places.
It is starting to show a little wear but still clean, comfortable and good location. The room is good size. The bed is fairly comfortable. The location seems quiet and safe. The breakfast is adequate and the staff is very accommodating. Good stay.
Love that the receptionist was helpful to give information ahead of time when I call in for information about prices. The rooms are clean and very good breakfast. I will definitely use again their service.
This hotel was great, even by Best Western standards. Check-in, cleanliness, lobby appeal, room condition and comfort were all A1. We use BW whenever we can but this was one of the best for an overnight stay on a cross country trip.
Best hotel around however I wish it was a bit less expensive. I paid 175 and that takes a good chunk out of my vacation budget however the hotel is so nice with the best staff running the place, I will always come back.
How can a reputable hotel give away a non-refundable, ground floor room for a handicapped person? Yes, they did even when the reservation said main floor. Very poor service, wouldn't recommend. PS, person at the front desk was very nice and tried to help but couldn't.
According to Trip Advisor, this is the best rated hotel in Ontario Oregon. Yikes! I am a loyal customer of best western and often stay in this brand when traveling. It cost almost double of some of the other chains but I chose it because I want a clean and functional room. This has been my worst experience with Best Western. The hotel is heavily perfumed, both in the hallways and the sleeping rooms. Why? It makes me curious what smell they are covering up. The toilet was not working properly and took three flushes to appear to work. I jumped in the shower and it was difficult to get the water to come all the way out of the showerhead. I finally did, and the bathtub filled up halfway with water. It is now an hour later and the water is not going down. I am in room 105 so maybe this is an anomaly. The Argan bath dispensers in the shower were empty. The beds are on the firm side but I think I will sleep fine. I'm paying close to $200 tonight for this room and it's a disappointment. I am going to cancel my reservation for the trip home and try the Holiday Inn. Fingers crossed By the way, make sure bring bottled water to Ontario. Even the ice cream tasted funny from Dairy Queen. I ate dinner at country Inn and the pancakes were yummy.
There's nothing special about this Best Western property. It is adequate if you need a place to stay in the Ontario, OR area. The room was clean! No dust in the usual nook and cranny spots. 24-hour access to the pool was nice to have.
Everything looked clean. Desk staff friendly. There is no elevator, so stay on first if you don't wish to lug up luggage. Convenient laundry. Fair breakfast. Coffee could be better. At least they had real half and half and not that disgusting sweet stuff.
This place was a poor choice for us. Old, unclean, and in desperate need of repairs and updating,. Price exceptionally outrageous for the quality of hotel and room. Could not recommend this best western to anyone. Would definitely not stay here again.
The two women at the front lines of this hotel were so helpful getting us situated. It took them about half an hour to make it all work out. We did not have a reservation and they were out of regular rooms, They made it work
The staff at Best Western Ontario is the most friendly, helpful group I've ever experienced in the hotel industry. The rooms were clean, breakfast was very good and the pool area was clean and well maintained. The location was great for us to get around the area easily.
Do you hotel was really good. The people were friendly the room was clean enjoyed the Jacuzzi, relaxing the Internet, no problems and the bed it was comfortable. Overall rating was excellent. The location was really good. As far as being able to just get off the freeway parking for semi trucks was great availability. There's nothing I can say anything bad
Everything about this stay was great not one complaint! Cleanliness is important and it was good staff was friendly. I don't usually do perfect scores but this time was a must ! Thank you to the staff we will be back
Beds could use updating The bathroom toilet needed to be cleaned with a brush as to not leave black mold ring from non use or just flushing. Counters could be wiped down more, hard to see salt or sugar on a pretty speckled counter New caulking was needed in bathroom tub as mold was beginning around faucet.
This hotel is a breath of fresh air when on the road. The most professional staff anywhere. The best hotel in the area. My trips always include a stop here. There is a good pizza place, steak house, Chinese and Mexican restaurant close by.
Staff was great and I requested a room on ground floor and got my wish. Great service and very nice breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and room was up to date. Very clean. Has toiletries furnished which is very nice. Will definitely stay here again.
Marcella was very short on the phone and seamed quite irritated when I needed to ask a couple of questions prior to booking our room. We arrived at the hotel, provided with our keys, and sent to our room. I booked a king suite with a hot tub in the main room. Loved it when I first walked in…. Then I got down looked at the tub…. Hairs, dirt, grime, honestly it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Marcella moved us to another room, at this point I don't want a room with a special tub. Id like a Single King. I'd just like to get into my room and relax at this point… She then sent us to a room that was still a king suite with a jetted tub. This tub looked a little cleaner than the other, however still not something I would put my body in. Breakfast was okay, hard potatoes, but that's expected at most hotels these days. I am a general manager of another hotel in Wyoming, and I was not impressed with my stay here. I was charged for an error on the businesses side, and I won't be back because of that. The breakfast attendant was kind and courteous. Hotel looked clean other than the tubs.
Absolutely stunned at this hotel! We are Platinum Members of Best Western. On a roadtrip in September and we get to Ontario, pull into this Best Western and we're quoted $257.00 for the night on a room that is usually $180ish. Are you crazy!!! But being old and exhausted we pay it and check in. (Stupid us) There is a Red Lion right across the road and a Comfort Inn next door. Hind sight is 20/20 and we should have walked away. But because we have always used Best Western, we checked in. I know it wasn't the last room in the hotel as others checked in behind us without a reservation, however this "Dynamic Pricing" for people without a reservation, checking in late (whatever) is absolutely criminal land makes me rethink the Best Western Brand.
Everything about out stay here was great. Easy to get to, friendly, helpful staff and the room was very clean. We were also surprised at how quiet it was. It was busy there but we didn't hear other people, water running or traffic. We are so glad we chose to stay here.
The staff in this hotel went out of there way to help, nothing was too much trouble. Clean spacious rooms, comfortable mattress. Good breakfast. With a varied choice of food. Hotel is well situated and has a lot of choices for dining establishments.
First I thought it was going to be an old building with not a good service. But the installations where modern, clean and the hotel is located close to many restaurants and supermarkets. I loved the hot breakfast. I honestly would have like coffee from a coffee pot instead of a machine, but it was not too bad. I am satisfied with everything.
Not exactly the "No Problem Best Western" stay we are used to - Most glaringly obvious was no coffee cups in room , just the thin plastic water cups - Breakfast was OK , just no much variety , sausages & eggs and a Waffle if oyu wanted .. Not spice dup eggs , just plain scrambled eggs .. Must be hard to find good help in Ontario , room 124 had no cups for coffee in the morning ..
We arrived to a suite only expecting a regular room. Very clean and all the people were very helpful and nice. The pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel after the nice stay we had.
Very clean, helpful staff. Only thing is no elevator. Good size room comfortable bed. You can tell they put effort into the little things that make your stay pleasant. Enjoyed the large indoor pool. Would stay their again.
Hotel is located close to the freeway, but is very quiet. There is a nice coffee machine in the lobby which even has an iced coffee option, which was nice to have on a hot day. The indoor pool looked very inviting.
I think the staff are always helpful and the amenities area satisfactory. I appreciate having areas to go to be able to smoke, and having an area available to barbeque when I and my family have the the time.
Room was very clean. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Served breakfast between 6 and 9 AM. A good stopping point on our way to Portland. While we do not have a dog. We other visitors bringing their dogs into the hotel. The hotel is very close to eating and shopping.
We had booked a reservation months in advance and had no problem checking in. Clean, comfortable room. Great breakfast with many hot and cold items available. Convenient to many stores and restaurants, right off the main highway. Would definitely stay again!
A dated establishment, however, it was clean, and that is important for me. The Breakfast spread was a lesser quality then I expected, especially for a $200.00 a night single room on a Wednesday night only stay.
Our stay started off this way. The front desk agent in the PM does not look confident enough to give us the appropriate directions to where to park with our uhaul trailer & even told us we would get a view from our room as to where our truck and trailer will be located. We requested that beforehand as a courtesy and it was not given to us as we checked in. We got there at night extremely exhausted only to be misdirected by a staff that does not completely know what he was doing. The room needed more lighting for us to see better what they had in it on every corner. The shampoo dispensers did not have anything in them and the conditioner but the lotion was there. The mattress was horrible! It felt like a giant spring was covered by a bed sheet and that was it. The blankets and sheets felt like paper towels. And the floor feels like we were walking on a used diaper. We understand that there will always be imperfections in everything. I am just making suggestions to improve more in the future. Please add an elevator to this hotel. I think that alone will improve significantly for the features of the hotel and it will greatly help the disabled guests. I do not see ourselves staying here again unless we desperately need a hotel to spend a night in this specific area
I stay here twice a year (for the past 5 years) and this time the service etc. was way below Not worth the price. Room was ok, breakfast eggs were cold, staff not friendly or helpful. Pool/hot tub area was a bit messy.
if you get a downstairs room, you are golden, since I didn't see an elevator. Very clean, all the lightbulbs worked, I much appreciated the dinner recommendation and the fact that when I needed some extra amenities, they were provided swiftly and courteously. Quiet restful night.
This hotel has probably the most comfortable bed that i have found in a hotel. Check in/Check out was fast and smooth. Numerous places to eat nearby. As some i am sure have mentioned, there is no elevator here, something to keep in mind.
Great location with access to all the sites and amenities. make sure to reserve ahead. Best bed of all my trips. Great location for attending any Boise Sites and events with excellent interstate access and great dining nearby. convenient to walgreens and yes even walmart right down the road.
We reserved a day prior as a rest stop on our road trip. We checked in around 11pm. We were so tired and expected a clean room. As we walked down the hall we noticed that the carpet along the edges were filthy and dusty. There was an air vent on the ground full of thick dust. Based on what we saw in the halls and our room it seems like they don't vacuum at all. We walked into a mildew and cigarette smelling room. I asked to switch rooms and was sent to a very dirty less smelly room. There was popcorn along the bottom of the bed. The sheets didn't look like they had been changed. My allergies started acting up. I looked up and saw water damage on the crown molding. That would explain the smell. I looked over from my angle I could see chunks of thick dust along the door frame on the adjoining room. The lampshades were also filthy. The bathroom had a sticky feel. We didn't even want to shower there so we didn't. There was no hand soap. There were two half empty mini shampoo bottles that we used to wash our hands. We slept enough to be able to drive again and got out as soon as possible. When we were on our way out I asked to talk to a manager. The lady at the desk (did not have a name tag. They usually so at the other best westerns we stayed at.) She said that she was the manager. I told her about our experience and she responded that they do vacuum every day and the rooms are clean. I asked if she's walked around to look at the place. She didn't answer but obviously annoyed asked what I want her to do. I stated that I don't want a refund and don't want a credit but I do hope that the "manager" will go around and take a look. I don't understand how anyone representing the company would want anyone to see the place like that. It's very dirty. Yes it's old too but people can look past that when they have a clean place to stay and good service which is what we didn't experience. That "manager" needs training. A "manager" should care about how the property looks as she is representing the brand. The place needs a deep clean. We have stayed at best western many times. It seems like things have gone downhill. I think this place was the last straw. We don't want a credit. We don't want a refund.
We stayed here for 2 nights while on a weekend getaway trip in the area. The hotel is in a convenient location, and the parking is really easy. There's quite a bit of food options nearby, and also a continental breakfast available at the hotel. The hotel was clean, the employees were really nice and check in and out was really easy. It did appear as if there were no elevators, but I didn't stay on the 2nd floor so I can't actually verify this. We stayed in the room right next to the stairs so we could hear people go up and down all day and night. We got the king suite which was really nice, it has a living room, bar area and a separate bedroom. I'd recommend this hotel, but request to be away from the stairs. Overall it was worth the money and a decent hotel for the price.
room quality was poor. it looked and felt old and dirty. Breakfast selection was non existent so we went to Denny's across the street. Staff was very friendly and communicated well. It is next to many stores such as walmart, walgreens, etc.
Title says it all, the staff was kind. The breakfast was an actual meal which was so nice. The beds and pillows are hard which is ok for one night but I wouldn't spend multiple nights if I was going to be in the area. We didn't plan on actually staying the night but we had to be in the area again early the next morning for appointments so we went to our go to hotel chain for our stay.
It is not new or fancy but they do a good job with cleanliness and trying to make your stay a pleasant one. The breakfast is very good for what you find in present times. The staff does try to accommodate you.
The staff greeting me was prompt and cheerful, my room was very clean and comfortable, I slept very well and the staff the next morning was pleasant and cheerful (great way to start day) and the breakfast was tasty and filling restaurant or better quality. The cleanliness/sanitizing through out was comforting.
Great place to catch some sleep and truly appreciate the handicap outside access. It was also great to have a hot breakfast available. Also plenty of fast food around or a Denny's right next door, Great access to and from the highway.
Spent a Monday night here. The place was adequate. Nothing special, just a place to sleep. It is two story with no elevator. Make sure you book a ground floor room if you don't want to haul stuff up stairs. The breakfast was a grab and go. Nothing to shout about. I can never get it straight whether it is hard water of soft water that causes this, but when I showered I couldn't get the soap off. I felt like I had to scrape it off with something. If I had known ahead of time I would have showered earlier in the day somewhere else or wait until our next destination. Ok place to stay, just don't expect much.
My stay at the Best Western Ontario OR was good . A great value since my stay was free paid for with points I had earned from previous stays at Best Westerns. Staff were helpful and polite. Had a good quite nights rest and a good breakfast,
I checked into this hotel because the outside looked very nice. Was traveling from Seattle to Utah for my birthday and chose this dump. When I checked in the room was moderately priced. Everything seemed fine until I opened the my hotel room. The odor was overwhelming. The entire room smelled like urine. It made me sick to my stomach and a headache started. I didn't have much cash so checking out and going to another hotel wasn't an option. I took some melatonin to get to sleep fast and left immediately the next morning. I woke up with a bad headache too. My entire birthday was ruined as I unfortunately stayed here the night of my birthday. Big Mistake. Don't stay here because once you make a reservation/ check in you won't get a refund if your room is as gross as mine was. You'll just have to suffer liek me and know to always ask to see the room before you pay.
If only there was an option to give ZERO stars. Travelers, DO NOT STAY HERE. The room was disgusting. I found hair in the soap dish, the towels were dingy, there was grime buildup in the bathroom, and the room smelled of dog URINE. When I communicated with MIKE, all he did was complain about the inconvenience this put on him. I waited for him to contact me to get a different room, but I had to meet with family to make funeral arrangements for our uncle who had passed away. When I got back in touch with Mike, he complained again that I was not there and said "I guess you just want to put this off to tomorrow morning then." I said "no, I do not want to stay in a room that smells like dog pee." He then told me, "maybe you should just check out tonight." When I went to check out, he then charged me for that night which I did not even stay and as I left told me "You should not have complained about the room in the first place." This man is SCAMMING people and taking their money for filthy, smelly rooms and then aggressively hurling them out the door. Do not give him a dime of your hard-earned money.
We stayed in room 232 on October 2, 2021. Upon arriving, the toilet was slow to flush. It eventually overflowed. We were handed a plunger and told "This usually works". We were charged $146.00 for our stay. I asked for a refund but have not heard a peep from anyone at the hotel. We had to use the toilets in the pool area and the sink in the ladies room was also plugged. DON"T STAY HERE!!!! The hotel is old and tired and the plumbing really needs work. In addition, there were used coffee pods in our coffee maker....Yuck.
Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff did an excellent job on the room. The check in staff was very friendly, as well as the breakfast staff. The food was super. Breakfast room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of free parking for autos and pickups, Large vehicle have ample parking for a small fee. There is a very nice pet area.
Old! Definitely needs updates. Bathroom had big, nasty old jacuzzi tub you had to step into to take shower. Yuk! Room smelled funky when we opened the door. Left window wide open while we went out to dinner. Hotel feels like an old casino in Vegas. The bedding was nice. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean, just old. Breakfast in very tight quarters. Eggs were runny and bacon was probably 20 seconds in a microwave. Won't stay there again. The staff was very friendly.
It was ok . The room I had could use a little care. Tears in chairs, body soap bottle attached to the wall in the shower was empty, Front desk clerk was not at all friendly and welcoming. Room was clean
It's a classic BW from yesteryear, although everything is clean, everything works and the staff is there to make sure you have everything you need. For instance, when is the last time you had a hotel stay and the printed bill was tucked in an envelope under your door? It's 2 floors, with no elevator so plan accordingly. Thanks to Monica and Judith for making sure our first-floor request was granted, it was most appreciated. The windows are screened and open for a breeze. There's even a small freezer in the mini-refrigerator. We had the King Suite (Room 119) with a door on the bedroom and a bathtub. Living room is very spacious and again, spotless. The hot breakfast buffet includes scrambled eggs, breads, individual milk cartons, apples, bananas and a waffle-maker. They insist you wear a mask so be ready (not easy when you've just traveled from Freedom Florida).
Easy to get to and the rooms were just what we needed. Additionally, with me having a disability, the staff was very nice in giving us a room that had both and inside and outside door. That arrangement made room access very easy. They also had a very nice area to walk our puppies.
I have stayed at many Best Westerns and I have stayed two prior times at this hotel. I will not return. This BW is overpriced for sure. It is a Motel 6 with lipstick. Our wifi never worked properly. I reported this to the front desk person. She said: Well we only get complaints with Apple devices. Haha. She offered to reset the hotel router which then fixed the WIFI for 5 minutes. The odor of disinfectant in our room was overwhelming. I had tears in my eyes and coughed so much. I had to open the room window and the door to the hallway. Of course it was hot outside and the room was soon sweltering but the odor lessened. The HVAC control did not work and was stuck on 65. The towels where of the cheapest kind. Very rough and yet thin. Again, this is the kind of stay I expect at a true budget hotel. I paid over $140 for this room. The bench just outside of the front entrance was occupied by smokers.
We needed a pet friendly place to stay for one night. Booked on-line easily, and were then able to register in advance for a late arrival. We were late, and the hotel even called to confirm we were still coming. Were given a ground floor room for the convenience of our two dogs. I will stay here again.
We take an annual trip with a motorcycle group and chose to stay at the Best Western Ontario because Best Western Motels are great places. This motel is close to many other conveniences. The staff has always been helpful and rooms are clean. We will stay here each time we come to Ontario
I expected much more of a Best Western. Our room smelled like smoke and the offered alternative room smelled like urine. Staff wore their mask below their nose. Very noisy pipes, no hot water in shower.
We had a great stay at the BW on our way back from an exhausting vacation. The room and a/c were in great condition. Quite AC and very clean rooms. The pool was great for the kids and it's open all night, which was a big plus. Pet friendly and great service. Thank you.
Be aware - there is NO elevator. We were quite able to lug our bags upstairs but would prefer not to. Very basic, older BW, but very clean. Fairly old TV so no streaming possible. Grab & go breakfast included breakfast sandwiches already warmed & ready. Not sure we'd stay again with other places nearby.
Clean facility and very nice front desk service. Average size room with fridge and micro. A bit outdated room but cleanliness is priority. Had room 122 and the bed mattress needed to be replaced; it was extremely broke down! The pillows were all the same with chopped foam and difficult for us to sleep on. Would have enjoyed a variety of pillows so as to find one that fit us better. We had a trailer and they had good parking for us. Security cameras were visible at the front desk with a large number of locations shown to keep an eye on their hotel and parking; that was a positive for sure. Price was average for Ontario. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance!
Nice and friendly staff, 24 HR heated pool and hot tub which was very nice and both temps were wonderful. Pillows in rooms are not comfortable so recommend bringing your own. Best place to stay in Ontario OR!
The room smelled like smoke and fart. Directly called the Motel and asked for a Late check in and late check out. The front desk quoted me $122 for checking in from 9:30 pm to 2 pm so my wife could get her chemo for pancreatic cancer. I reserved the room. When we got in they added another $40. Ended up paying $162 for the night. We checked on other motels in the area. Looking for a motel that wont stink and offer the accommodations we need while my wife goes through chemo.
I hit the pillow and didn't toss or turn at all. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. No noise from outside the room, easy parking, close to a lot of different restaurants. Room was clean, shower was hot and our stay was hassle free. The only thing I didn't like was the small tv.
Bring your own pillow! The pillows were huge round and very uncomfortable foam. Could not mold them to be comfort at all. The bed wasn't bad but the covering was very light and made it hard to adjust body temperature. The coffee in the room is horrific. We were forced to go out and buy coffee at local businesses Every day.
This is one of the better motels I have used in Ontario. It is quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff is good. Breakfast is limited because of Covid but that is more common now. Overall a good stay again.
Very clean hotel that permits pets. All parts of the room were very well maintained. Hotel had grassy area in pet area. Staff very friendly. Even though COVID conditions, hotel still offered hot breakfast.
Very clean and quiet. Good access off the freeway, but not too close to the freeway. Shopping and restaurants close by. Good parking. Felt safe and secure. Breakfast was basic and good. I would stay there again.
Clean room, we felt safe during Covid 19. Good TV and very comfortable bed. We stayed on the first floor and had a door that opened from our room to the parking lot. Nice! There wasn't a restaurant, but there is fast food within driving distance.
We recently stayed here for a softball tournament. We rented a King Jacuzzi Suite. The room was amazingly large with a kitchenette area, separate room with King bed and closing door and pullout sofa sleeper in living/dining area. The separated rooms were perfect for our daughter to attend distance learning classes Friday morning at the desk with her laptop while my husband and I hung out in King room, then off to softball. The breakfast was small but better then nothing honestly and the coffee machine and juice and water available all night is nice. The shower was Amazing. I have never stayed at a location with such great water pressure. I Loved it and my daughter loved the jacuzzi jetted tub after a long softball tournament for her aching muscles. The room was surprisingly quiet. We saw the room next to us was full of people visiting for family reunion and spilling into the hallway yet didn't hear a peep. No complaints from us. Everything was clean and staff very pleasant.
Clean an quiet spot to stop while traveling, plenty of nearby services for meals, snacks, gas,, etc. Only issue we had was I am a bit of an old fart and as we found no elevator for second floor it was a bit of a task to get our luggage upstairs. So either request a ground floor if this would be a problem or ask the staff for help. Other than that no problems at all.
My love takes me to the jacuzzi suite and we love it! Its clean quiet and so romantic! The hot tub room is another favorite here! Both rooms are well worth the money and we recommend this specific best western!!
I frequently stay at this hotel chain because you can usually expect a certain level of niceness from them. Unfortunately, this one was not one of the better stays. Starting with the Pros - It was quiet and we were able to get a good nights rest. Internet was OK. The room was clean, for the most part except for a gross stickiness to the carpet. Cons - the above mentioned sticky carpet. I'm not sure if they just had it cleaned and maybe it was still wet or if there was some gross stuff in it. Whether I walked in my shoes, socks or barefeet it would 'stick' to the bottom and well you get the idea. Another con... The basic amenity of a working TV was not available. The TV in our room would turn on and have this horrendous buzzing noise with the audio, making it impossible to watch. I walked up to the front desk and asked if we could have a person fix it (unlikely as I work with technology and those speakers in the TV were definitely blown) or have someone bring in a different TV for us to use. We were told there was no extra or unused TVs to be brought and that IF they could find a tech they'd send them to us to look at the TV. One never arrived. I'd try a different hotel in town next time.
We checked into the hotel in the early evening. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and in a quiet location, which we appreciated after driving over 500 miles that day. The only thing missing was the great breakfast usually served by hotel staff...due to the COVID thing. Tired of COVID; love Best Western.
Clean facility. Has a pool. Didn't see an exercise room. No elevator to second floor. Facility is standard BW quality. We skipped breakfast. Coffee maker in room. Clean and quiet. Plenty of parking. Ontario OR is at the Idaho border, drawing in Idaho shoppers who wish to avoid sales tax. There are many of the chain fast food restaurants in the area as well as many of the chain stores.
The rooms were fine. It was clean. This place has seen a million guest over time. Sheetrock and wallpaper, goofy gold curtains... It's older but the staff work there tails off to make your stay a good one. My biggest issue is I felt like it was priced a bit high, but maybe I should have booked earlier. This is a Best Western Not a Best Western PLUS.
The bathtub had pubic hairs in it. I notified the front desk and asked for a different room. The other bathroom also had hairs on the floor and in the bathtub. I asked for cleaner to just clean the one I was already in because I didn't trust any of their rooms had been properly cleaned. No one did anything to remedy the situation. They charged me full price for the hotel room, even though I had to clean it!
So the hotel its self was ok but the bed was horrible my back still hurts it felt like i was sleeping on a box spring only i like the 24hr pool and hot tub but wish it would of gotten hotter felt like I was in a kids bath
The stafff is all amazing. The facilities are very clean. Breakfast is excellent every day. The selection is different ever morning. The pool is available 24 hours. The rooms are very clean. My only dislike is the smell outdoors, but that is not from the hotel, just the location itself. Everything is close by and accessible.
Such a nice hotel for value when you are on the road moving. I also had pets. Staff were very kind. Rooms were clean and accommodating. I recommend for this type of travel for the value. Breakfast was the normal breakfast, but was clean and very easy to get back on the road.
We stayed in a king suite with a pull out. The room was nice and big. We were able to close off the bedroom which was nice and gave us privacy from our kids. The kids enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was standard with the usual options. Would stay again.
The check in lady was friendly and efficient, the room was clean and fairly cheap. The breakfast was hot and there was quite a bit. The bathroom was a tad small and the bed wasn't as soft as I would like but it was safe, clean, and kept us warm out of the snow so I can't complain.
Great Value if you are traveling from Idaho, Oregon. My Family and I stopped a night here. Check in Was smooth. No hidden fees. Beds were good for this price range of a hotel. Room Clean. BREAKFAST rocked. $100 bucks and three people slept in two queen beds with great pillows. good size room, pet friendly, We had a great breakfast of Bacon Eggs pancakes. All cooked fresh plus great breakfast beverages. a GREAT VALUE!!
I enjoyed having a quiet, clean, well-appointed room. There was a lovely breakfast and the people were kind, helpful, and courteous. I've stayed in a lot of hotel rooms with my dog this year, and this is the first place that inspired me to write a review. The people were just really nice and I value that and want to support them.
I felt this stay was very good for the price. Much better than some of the other options in Ontario. It was quiet and clean and they had a decent breakfast. I thought the staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Beds were clean, but room seemed a bit dated and had really cheap bathroom fixtures. Weird sprayer faucet in the sink made it take forever to just rinse soap off hands plus it was so close to the back of the sink you had no space to put your hands. Weird cubby full of dust behind the toilet paper. Hair in the sink, rubber mat glued onto the tub floor that was coming up at the edges. Just seemed like I have gotten better for my money at other places. Breakfast offerings were ok other than super rubbery eggs. Kids loved the pastry selection. The breakfast room was so tiny it was overcrowded and stuffy and had to eat on a plate on my lap in the foyer. Lady was overanxious to get people out of the breakfast room by 9. Would rather it be open a bit later since we didn't get in till late the previous night. It was ok, but I will not plan to stay here again.
Reasonably priced , right off the freeway, very close to restaurants , i will stay there again, staff was helpful and pleasant, nice small area with great access, Country Kitchen is right next door as well as Dennys and others , walking distance
This Best Western is very clean and comfortable. Staff are super helpful and friendly. The decor was recently updated and tasteful. Parking is ample and with several entry doors you don't have far to carry luggage. Breakfast is fine with several choices. WalMart, Home Depot and several fast food places are easy walking distance. Access to the freeway is also easy. Great place to stay!
Every time I travel I stay at Best Western. Always great rooms and hot breakfast! Friendly staff and clean rooms. WiFi works great. If you plan your trips ahead of time, you will save a lot of money..
Lobby is clean. Clerk congenial. Our issue is that we requested extra blankets. We offered to come to the front desk and pick it up. They assured us they would run it to our room. It never showed up. We also asked for a toothbrush, which never came either. The bathroom is tiny. Door just barely clears the toilet. And we found some lids and such left over from previous people. Cleanliness- beds are clean. Bathroom ok.
The lobby was clean and inviting. The fresh coffee is always nice along with complimentary snacks. Our room was very clean, we enjoyed a great breakfast. The breakfast room was stocked well and clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Plenty of parking. No noticeable outside noise. Overall, very pleasant stay.
The problem WASN'T that the hotel canceled my reservation without informing me. It WASN'T even that they had to put me in a more expensive room. I really WASN'T put off with the fact that I was locked out of my room every night and had to deal with slow staff to get back in! The problem I had, was that the hotel staff couldn't have cared less if they tried. The young lady (Angel) "helping" us made me go to the back of the line twice, so she could "help" other patrons before she could bother with me. The manager was flippant the next morning, and no regard for our less than service, customer service. I personally won't reccomend this hotel.
We were able to get a pet free room with little notice. There was a problem with my reward points not showing up and I had to call the central office. This was the result of a problem with the last BW we stayed at in Provo, UT and not the Ontario location. Breakfast was the usual BW.
We were here visiting here from out of town. We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, staff, and accommodations. We would highly recommend. We will be staying here again. The breakfast was very nice as well.
We stopped in Ontario on our way to McCAll Idaho. The hotel was very nice. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Lots of places to eat that close by. The hotel is right off the freeway. We will definitely stay their again
Pros: Clean, comfortable and well-lit room. Convenient to I-84, shopping and some dining. Cons: Wifi kept dropping out, sticky feeling carpet, loud bathroom fan, no elevator, tight breakfast area. Not perfect, but a good option.
This was our last stop on a road trip headed home from the Oregon Coast. Front desk was quick, friendly and efficient. They had upgraded us to a King suite before we arrived which was a pleasant surprise! There was plenty of parking. There is no elevator so be prepared to lug your bags up the stairs if you have a second story room. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Bed was comfy but the linens were not soft. Towels were EXTREMELY ROUGH and the body wash dispenser was not working so we were glad we had our own. Pool area was nice and the hot tub was hot. There were no plugins on the bed stands to plug in our phones and I hate digging around behind the bed looking for a plug in. The cords back there were all dusty. We didn't go down to breakfast. Just a few things keep this from being 5 stars.
The only reason I didn't rate this property as "Excellent" is that there is no elevator. Other than that, it is excellent in every category. From front desk to breakfast staff, from WIFI to shower drain, from convenient location to fluffy pillows, from sleep quality to breakfast variety, all rate an "excellent". And the 24 hour coffee is the best hotel coffee I've experienced in my many stays at Best Western properties around the US
First, the hotel needs a good remodeling, everything is old, dirty and in serious need of repair. the sealing around the tub is separated and moldy, the tub, toilet and faucets make a lot of noise. Every time a toilet or tub is used in an adjoining room, it wakes you up. Nothing bad to say about the staff, breakfast or location. Have also stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and it is also very noisy, being right next to the on ramp, Trucks are constantly screaming to get up to speed on the entrance to I84. My next trip, will try a newer motel such as Comfort, or Quality Inn..
The facility is a real easy on and off of the freeway, there are plenty of restaurants close by for food and a shopping facilities very close. The desk staff was incredibly nice and easy to deal with. The room was comfortable.
The staff was helpful as always. Will probably be staying here more in the next few years while visiting relatives. Unless we haul along the camper. ;-). Need to use the pool more, but never find the time. Close to stores and restaurants, right off the interstate.
I always stay at this hotel when traveling through Ontario. Monica, at the front desk, has been the same friendly face and always greets us as old acquaintances. In addition, with each visit, I notice small, suttle improvements. They'are always trying to improve your experience. Overall it deserves it's certificate of excellence!
These people did not honor our reservation and then charged us for the room. We arrived about 5pm and they had evidently given our room away. We had to find another place to stay after driving all day. This has never happened to us before, and upsetting as it was, being charged for a room we didn't get makes me crazy. Also, the lobby, which was as far in as I got, smelled.
Everything about this property was about clean, quiet and comfort. Very helpful staff and a great breakfast. Close to shopping and restaurants. We especially enjoyed that the pool and hot tub were open 24 hours. WIFI was more off than on but I think it is location because we have stayed at brand x across the street with the same problem.
This place is great! I called ahead because I thought I was going to miss check in time. Staff was very friendly and told me that was not a problem. Quiet area. Very clean room, and the pool area is open 24 hrs. Breakfast in the morning was very good, everything you could want was readily available. I'd recommend this Best Western to anybody looking for a quiet comfortable and relaxing stay.
We have family in the area and had to come see a sick relative. We had stayed in other places in the area so decided to try this one because some were too noisy, etc. We were pleasantly surprised. Quiet, clean. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The room prices were comparable to other hotels in the area. The breakfast was a good start to the day. Thank you!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The pool was nice sized and fun for the whole family. We stayed in a suite with a jacuzzi, a king size bed and a pull out bed in a separate sitting room. We were pleased with the set up and the cleanliness of the room. Staff was friendly both at the front desk and in the breakfast area. We would stay there again if we return to the area in the future.
We only stayed one night in May 2018. Had to ask for a pet free room. The room was clean and well appointed. Plenty of places around the motel to get a meal. Visited the Great Sandy Desert on our way to Ontario.
My wife and I decided to stay here on our way to Utah and this was a great stopover. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. The room we got was clean and reasonably priced. Our bed was soft and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone we know. The hotel is easily accessible from I-84 at Exit 376B. We would definitely stay here again
Our stay here was nice enough, but the building is a little tired—darkened grout, peeling wallpaper, rust stains here and there. Nevertheless it was a decent stay. Note: no elevator in this two-story building. That's not a big deal unless it's a big deal for you.
RESERVATIONS: Like a lot of hotels these days, the Best Western sends you a reminder e-mail the day prior along with an opportunity to do an early on-line check-in. I decided to go ahead and do this to help simplify the process, but instead I just got confused. The e-mail asked if I'd like to pay $15 for a room upgrade, which puzzled me since we already had reserved the supposedly best room option. Then it asked if I wanted to go ahead and pay the $15 fee for parking. Parking fee? News to me! I clicked “yes” to both, but it turns out that it was all meaningless upon actual check-in. There is a sign at the entrance to the parking lot saying that people needed to pick up a parking pass to use the lot. But apparently that is a bunch of nothingness--parking is free and no passes are needed. When I asked the clerk about the parking fee, she waved her hand and cheerfully said, “Yeah, a lot of people mention that!” and promised me I'd not be charged extra for either fee on-line fee. Okay, I thought, we're good as long it doesn't show up on my bill the next day... and it didn't. But really, some Best Western techie oughta fix this, as in immediately. Other than the weird on-line fee issue, the front desk people are warm and personable. ROOM: We had a double queen mini-suite which was a long narrow room divided by a half-wall. My only real complaint about the room was that it's pretty dark with just the one window at the far end. But hey, dark is good most of the time when you're trying to sleep on a road trip. The beds were nice, no problems. Wi-fi great. Loads of cable TV channels available for free. Plenty of hot water. Odd decor issue: the only art was a print--exactly replicated in the seating area and the bedroom area. We were seeing double. BREAKFAST: Your usual Best Western spread with a some extras like scrambled eggs, bacon, mini omelettes, Acai water, and that fun new “pancake by the button” machine to accompany the usual waffle maker. The breakfast room was busy but staff kept on top of the operation nicely. POOL: Didn't swim there but it looked clean and fun. All indoor. OVERALL: A good solid stop right off the freeway in hotel row of Ontario with plenty of food amenities nearby. I'd have given it a 5 star if not for the weird on-line form asking for non-existent parking fees.
The motel was very average - nothing outstanding. The sheets were below average not very smooth. The Breakfast was ok - The scrambled eggs were very runny. The room was average, but clean. The staff was courteous and efficient
We are traveling a great deal this summer and we're surprised to find this great BW in Ontario, OR. Comfortable, large room, wonderful bed and a HOT breakfast. Same breakfast fare as most BW but this one the food was hot and tasty.
The breakfast was great because there were SO many choices! The pool and hot tub were great as well. The room was just okay. The pillows were all feather and just very u comfortable. I had to go up and ask for more so I could sleep. Also the bathrooms are ridiculous. They are so tiny that when you open the door, it almost touches the toilet.
my review little pricey older hotel-- food good-- bed comfortable-- quiet area-- hard to use shower faucet not very easy to pull out to turn on-- coffee not bad power creamers yuk-- easy to get back onto highway
Our visit was very comfortable, roomy, laundry, inside pool with jacuzzi and 2 queen beds, continental breakfast, exit close to car to load and unload. I was traveling alone with my disabled son and it was very easy to manage him in this environment
I trust Best Western because I am traveling with friends, wanted to be safe and not have problems knew that Best Western made all that possible. We wanted to be on the road early breakfast was available 6:30 that was perfect. The breakfast choices were great and good also. Always hot items hot cold items cold, they also used real butter and yogurt.
This is the best Best Western in the western US- it's amazing. for travel in Idaho or Oregon you should stay at the Ontario Best Western. spotless bathrooms, very clean and smells great. efficient and polite employees.
I would have to dig deep to find a negative statement. This should be a PLUS Best Western as it was above many of the plus locations I have stayed at. Great staff, roomy comfortable room, clean, good location (lots of shopping in easy walking distance) quiet
One of the best Best Western's. The room was exceptional clean. The cleaning person was Shannon! I owned a cleaning co so I know what to look for. Best Western I hope you know what a jewel Shannon is!
Great beds, nice staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. The bathroom shower was relaxing, plenty of shower soaps, lotions, and shampoo. Plenty of linen to use without calling for more. It would be nicer if you had an elevator to the second floor.
Staff always have welcoming, positive attitude and seek to accommodate any special needs. Note that this hotel does not have an elevator so, if you have any difficulty with stairs, recommend you request room on first floor.
Easy to get to from freeway. All amenities are close to hotel. Easy access to pet area and bags for clean up. The grand children enjoyed the pool and hot tub since the pool was a little bit on the cool side.
Top notch stay. I've been traveling for work too much lately. I stayed here only for one night. I wish I could stay here more. They offered a beverage and a snack at check in. I felt as though they actually appreciated my stay and didn't just expect me to stay. It was refreshing.
This hotel offer a good cost and have a great accomodation. Room are big, enough for 3 people. Very clean and confortable beds. Breakfast is very good and attendants are very helpful. We stay only one night but I really recommend.
This is the best experience for work or pleasure in Ontario, Oregon. The staff is amazing. The breakfast is good quality, with the server/cook a true joy to be around. The front desk clerks are very helpful.
I cannot say enough about the staff at this property. They provide the professionalism, responsiveness. and courtesy of a 5 star resort. If you have pets, this is the only place a recommend in the area to stay, as they are highly pet friendly. Comfortable suites and rooms as well.
Everything was so great. Staff is wonderful. Room very clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable. I would highly recommend :) Also, maybe this is weird but the hallways smelled really good but not like an overpowering smell just like a good smell....
We are moving and just stopping where we get at night. This Best Western was clean and the staff was very friendly. We have pets so it was nice to find a good place to stop without a reservation. Would recommend it to my friends.
Like an oasis, this was a welcome place to stay for two weary travelers. We had a pleasant referral to a good restaurant for dinner, a great sleep, and a hearty breakfast. You will be pleased with your stay.
The room was exactly as advertised. Very clean, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast, which is included in the price, included bacon, eggs, toast, French toast, juice, coffee, bagels and more. Coffee & cookies available all day & night. Would definitely go back. The only negative is no elevator to the 2nd floor if stairs are a concern.
Nice hotel, easy to get to off of freeway. Was traveling to medical appt and just needed a comfortable place for the night. Well priced. Bed was comfortable, rooms clean, breakfast with continental and bacon and scrambled eggs also that day. Nice indoor pool with hot tub open 24/ 7 on my stay. Checked prices on line, then called directly. With AAA price was the same. No hassles. I would stay there again
Clean, quiet, convenient. Spacious rooms. Friendly, informative desk clerk. Good places for meals nearby. Easy to find with quick access to the interstate. More than adequate parking. I highly recommend this motel.
I had stopped at several motels in the Idaho/Oregon area...looking for a room with a recliner or chair with ottoman. Thank goodness I checked at the Best Western in Ontario, OR. I was tired and wondering whether I would ever find a room with a chair, as I have had several heart surgeries and cannot sleep in a bed. The gentleman behind the desk, Mike, was very courteous, kind and so accommodating I was amazed. The room was convenient in accessing my car, clean and perfect for my needs. Mike was the nicest and most humble host I have ever met...and I told him so. The next morning I had breakfast, which was also very good, and the person told me Mike actually owns the motel and she loves working there (one big family). What a tribute to a wonderful, humble boss!
Staff was excellent, breakfast good, room was very clean, but the air freshener used in our unit and hallways was overpowering....not recommended for folks with allergies or asthma. Almost didn't survive the night even on extra meds
We had no reservations and pulled in for a pet room for the night. Both people at the desk were extremely friendly and efficient. The pet was an additional $20 per night. Breakfast was typical Best Western breakfast, much better than a continental breakfast. Will stay here again.
We stayed here for one night last night. We booked online and checked in a little late, after 9pm. Front desk clerk was friendly and competent. Our room was upgraded at no additional cost to a suite. Very nice gesture. There is a small kitchen area and a sizable sitting room in addition to the usual bed and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, the heating/air conditioning worked great, the window opened. No weird smells. Quiet location, even with the window open. Highly recommend.
I had decided to just see how far I got for the night and not make a reservation anywhere. I ended up in Ontario, and Best Western had the best rate for a decently rated hotel in the area. I showed up and asked what the rate for a room was, and was given a rate 34% higher. So, I asked if she would honor the online rate, and was told I had to book it online to get that rate. I commented that this was a pretty poor policy, and poor customer service, and that seemed to cause her to absolutely flip out on me. She told me I didn't know how hotels worked, that I didn't know how to make a reservation, that they were now mysteriously full and I couldn't have a room, and she stormed off. I made the reservation online because, well, come on. I had to ring the bell to make her come back (honestly, I hate doing that and try to be as nice as possible to anyone working in customer service). She did, and acted like nothing happened. I asked why she was being rude to me before, and she flipped out on me again, told me she was going to call the police, and again that they were full. I said I had a non-refundable reservation at that point, and she told me I didn't. I did. I did want the price, I didn't want to go anywhere else, and just wanted a place to stay, so I decided to apologize to her (I had to make something up, because I have no idea what I would possibly apologize for - she never seemed to consider apologizing to me). It took me several minutes of asking her to just listen to me for a second before I could even start an apology. Throughout all of this, she didn't have any interest in listening to a word I had to say. For whatever reason, she "upgraded" my room. Maybe this was her way of apologizing without saying it, but I think it was more that she had the room keys for these two rooms - one a suite with a jetted tub, and the other a regular room with a jacuzzi - just ready to go. I told her I didn't want an upgrade, but she forced me into the suite. Fine. After all that, though, the room hadn't even been cleaned. It looked like maybe the bed was made, but there were piles of garbage in the kitchen area, bathroom, and living area. I went back up front, and she told me she would have to go check the room before she would give me another one. Whatever. I was put in the jacuzzi room. The jacuzzi didn't work right. The bed was terrible. The room was loud next to a main entrance. I turned the heat down to 64 and it still never turned off, so I had to turn off the unit completely and ended up cold in the morning. The shower wouldn't drain until I removed the plug completely, and it was low-pressure. They were too cheap to offer individual bottles of shampoo & conditioner, and the conditioner dispenser in the shower didn't work. The woman from the night before was very insistent that I would get an invoice under the door and I could just leave the keys in the room - that didn't happen. The breakfast room was tiny and the woman working it didn't seem to care we were all shoved in there - she was just pushing her way in front of everyone to do her work. I had to go back to my room to eat because there were maybe four tables and they needed maybe twelve just for who was there. Remember that this hotel was clearly nowhere near full, too. There really wasn't anything good to say about this place. I responded to the survey Best Western always sends, and of course I just got the generic form letter from the manager. It seems the issues with this hotel come from the top.
The location of this hotel was very convenient and the staff was very friendly and helpful, which we very much appreciated. The breakfast was good and staff was helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
This hotel was 5 star for us. Excellent front desk Room was great, bed was very comfortable, loved the jetted tub. Breakfast was better than any Best Western we have stayed at. Wide variety to choose from and prepared dishes were delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Second stay at this hotel and it was as good as the first time. The rooms are very nice and quiet. Never heard any noise from other guests, which is often an issue. You can tell that management takes pride in their hotel. I'm in town twice a year on business and my spouse accompanies me. The location is close to lots of eating options and other services, which if perfect since I have the car during the day. Will book again. Note, there isn't an elevator so request the first floor if that is an issue.
Had a quick stop over here on our trip cross country. Staff was friendly, room clean, had everything I needed. I didn't have the breakfast but it was offered and smelled good...I just was running late .
great staying at best western hotels, clean and good breakfast. comforts of home when on trip. will always choose these hotels over any. i travel the country in business and have made the choice to stay
Overall this hotel is a nice place to stay. Rooms are quiet. Price of room was really good too. Easy to get to from freeway and Ontario's main roads. Breakfast was fresh, hot foods were hot. Staff were all helpful and friendly too. Hotel is an older building, but very clean. Furniture was modern and in very good condition. Having a frig & microwave was helpful on the few times we needed to use them. Every time we've come back to this area we have booked our rooms here.
Good staff, very friendly. Just need outlets on the desk with lamp to accommodate current technology. Your breakfast room staff was quick to respond to low items and made sure everyone knew that the peaches and apples were freshly picked. This was a very nice bonus to know that an employee thought about guests.
We needed a room for one night. I found this BW on the internet when we arrived in town, they had the room type we wanted at a good rate. Of course when we walked in we were told they only had three rooms which were much higher than we wanted to pay. But we went ahead and took the more expensive room. Apparently all of a sudden there was a rush on rooms - which was fine we just wanted to rest. The room was very nice, bed very comfy and staff were very nice also. I think I just need to probably learn to book the room when i find the good deal because it can disappear in a flash haha. Seriously, if in the area again I would have no problem staying again.
A new looking, beautifully clean hotel. Front desk staff were very welcoming. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing-so many options, even fresh fruit picked by the person in charge of the meal! Showerhead gave a luxurious feel. Will stay here again! Also close to fast food and shopping, easy access to freeway...but quiet.
Room was Clean, bed was comfortable, and Breakfast was much better than most and had great fresh fruit, picked the day before. The staff was very helpful and made every effort to accommodate. If I am in this area in the future I will stay at this hotel.
The Bathroom was Tiny! Shower area is very small and if you are not careful could get hurt! It was a Clean Room, Family Oriented, Close to Restaurant that you could walk to. **The only Electric Outlet besides in the Bathroom, and without either climbing on Knees under a Table was on the Wall next to the Air Conditioner. I kept my Phone plugged in to Charge and it did not work! I had to pull out the Dark Table in the Room to plug in the Wall. Needs to have Lights with easy access to outlets for charging! $114.30 a night without Taxes for 2 Adults.
Great place with a pool and continental breakfast! Even better they have an area to wash motorcycles. Staff found us some worn towels to use. Had everything you need including semi truck parking on the side.
I stayed here in May and then a nights going each way for a trip to SLC. This hotel is fairly new. It is lean, comfortable, up-to-date. The staff are effecient, helpful, knowlegable and easy to talk to. Warm cookies on arrival and a hot breakfast in the morning. The rooms are spacious; you don't feel cramped. Though I didn't request or use it, my bathroom had a jacuzzi tub. The hotel is just off I-84 but you don't get freeway noise. There is one famiy style restaurant close by and a bunch of fast food places. Adult beverages are hard to find. There is a lounge associated with the family restaurant. I'll stay there next time, for sure.
Nice room, good breakfast. Great front desk clerk!! Nice, quiet place. My only complain is that the bed needs more comfortable pillows. The pillows were small and hard. Fast check in and check out. Good location. Easy to find.
This was a Beautiful hotel. Very helpful staff. The room was large and comfortable. We were greeted with Fresh baked cookies in the afternoon when we checked in. A treat after a long day on the road. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in a hotel. Large selection to choose from. The breakfast area was very organized and clean. Staff was there making sure there was plenty of food and tables kept clean. I will remember this hotel next time we pass through. I highly recommend this hotel.
We were in a suite which was very large having two rooms and very clean. The staff were very helpful and informative regarding places to eat. Our bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The pillows were plentiful and also comfortable. The bathroom was very large and the towels soft. This hotel is in walking distance to a couple of eating places. We were able to park our bike undercover which is always great. Breakfast was good and plenty of food.
Convenient and very comfortable with great breakfast. Close to local attractions and very convenient access to the freeway. Always very friendly people at this hotel and very helpful. Good parking and close to many restaurants.
The staff here is great, big rooms that are very comfortable near dinning and great location for business travelers. Great pool and hot tub area. The check in was awesome. If you get to Ontario area this is a must stay
Always a great place to stay. Very dog friendly. Clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. Outside area is clean and pool area is great for kids. Breakfast is good, fresh coffee always available in lobby.
Smallish room but up to BW standards, clean, comfortable. Front desk was great. Pool was being serviced when I arrived but it was back to available soon enough, thank you... There is a reason I chose BW while wandering around the country on a Harley Davidson and this one did not disappoint.
I'm 43, recently disabled, and in a wheelchair. Stayed at several Ontario hotels, and Best Western was the only one where I felt healthy and my disability needs were adequately met. Excellent service, gluten free breakfast options, easy wheelchair access, and renovated, clean rooms. Highly recommended for disabled, elderly, and people needing wheelchairs.
Just a quick in and out road stop for me. But clean, cool, and relaxing. Comfy bed. Good air conditioning. Good location. Good lighting. Good television. Did not use the Jacuzzi tub or coffee maker. Did like the refrigerator.
The hotel was nice. The only thing we didn't like was the noisy fan in the bathroom which you had to have on to have the light on. We had a suite and it was nice with couch, chair, kitchen area. We didn't have breakfast there so we don't know what it was like.
Quiet, clean, helpful staff, cleaning crew helpful with any need you might have. Plenty of parking, easy access to freeway, East or West, Just a great place to stay on your visit, found every time I stay at a Best Western that it is the only Motel I choose to stay at. Wonderful experience at Ontario and also Wichita Kansas among other places.
We stayed in this hotel on our way home from vacation. We stayed in a queen "suite", which is really just 2 queen beds with a sofa sleeper - no separate bedroom. Our room was huge and comfortable. I found the beds to be very comfortable, but I like a softer bed. Husband would have preferred a stiffer mattress. The hotel is older, and it shows in places. Not as many outlets as a newer hotel, for example. The biggest downfall of the hotel - no elevator. We were on the 2nd floor with lots of luggage. The elevator was sorely missed. Ice machine and all amenities are on the 1st floor as well.
There were a few places to eat within walking distance of this hotel, which is always a plus for us. The staff were excellent, breakfast was very good and the hotel was very conveniently placed, near the interstate but far enough away to avoid the noise of it. It did have a very tiny bathroom, that's our only real complaint.
We had a short stay but enjoyed it thoroughly, and that includes the pool and hot tub. The property is very neat and clean as was our room. Breakfast was great with a very friendly server helping out.
I am not sure if the other reviewers have no expectations or are just inexperienced travelers. I booked this hotel based on the positive reviews, but was wondering why, at the rate charged, this was not a Best Western Plus property. When I pulled up, I saw why. Very basic curb appeal and older property. Front desk lady WAS awesome -very personable. Room, however, very old with old furnishings and an overwhelming odor of wet dog. So, so bad....Best Western, you disappointed me greatly.
Some of the best customer service I have experienced in my travels. Everyone was polite and very helpful. Comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Located near restaurants. Stayed here when visiting Hell's Canyon.
Thank you best western for making my stay as comfortable as possible! I really felt like I was at home. The breakfast was delicious and I would like to thank the woman who served the breakfast she was really sweet and was very attentive to everyone's needs! I believe her name started started with a V, she had blonde hair and was tall. She deserves a raise or a promotion! She was super awesome and is a hard working employee from what I saw this morning. Thank you
We stayed here on a motorcycle trip. The room was nice and clean, the staff was freindly, easy on and off freeway, and of course it comes with breakfast. There were several places to get some food within walking distance.
Compared to the night before, this place is a palace. One of the last available rooms, I was placed on the ground floor next to an exit. I expected to hear slamming doors all night but I didnt. I was amazed..an actual well built hotel Good breakfast too.
Stayed one night returning from a west coast trip. Stayed in a king bed suite, which was nice, but not the type of room that we thought we were getting. The bedroom was the second room and it didn't flow very well. In spite of that it was a decent room and we got a good nights sleep. Gina at check in was excellent and the breakfast was good.
Stopping in Ontario for only one night proved enjoyable! Nice people, clean well appointed room and a very good breakfast! We had a little trouble with the wifi but the woman at the front desk walked us through it. We would definitely return to this motel!
We booked an overnight stay here while traveling from Reno to Spokane, but when we arrived we found that we had booked the wrong weekend! The front desk was extremely accommodating and didn't charge us for our mistake and found us a nice room that we were very pleased with. This facility was older but very well maintained and clean and the staff was extremely accommodating. They also have a lovely indoor pool which we didn't have time to take advantage of, but it really looked nice. We would definitely stay here again!
Stayed here for two nights on a recent road trip. This is a nicely maintained and updated older property. But the friendly staff makes this hotel worth staying here! Was warmly greeted on check in, and any questions were answered with a friendly “can do!” attitude. Were unexpectedly upgraded to a suite, which was nice. Anyone needing an extended stay should definitely book the suite! Comfy beds, plenty of towels, and the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser was a great environmentally friendly amenity (no little plastic bottles!). Hotel is also very quiet, an advantage of being an older building (I don't think they build ‘em like they used to!). Easy to navigate location, close to a major retail area.
We stay there once a month. Always a good stay. Sometimes an issue with one queen suite's AC unit. Need that in Eastern Oregon. Breakfast is very good. Pool is 24 hours. Safe, well lit parking. Near restaurants, shopping and I 84
We had an excellent stay here. The location is close to shopping, movies, activities and the freeway. Made for a perfect location if you needed time to rest up before another long drive, or just getting away for a few days.
I really enjoyed my stay in the staff were great to work with they treated me like family my room was clean and very quiet there was plenty of room to park my truck I really enjoyed my stay with best Western
We have a very nice stay her. Monica at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The cookies were a nice touch. The lady working in the Breakfast room (don't know her name) did a wonderful job. We stayed two nights.
No complaints on this Best Western, they hit or exceeded he mark on everything. Smooth & friendly check-in, clean & decent sized room, comfortable beds, and a well above average hot breakfast. Price seemed in line for the area. We were just on an overnight so didn't utilize the indoor pool & hot tub, guest laundry or other extras but they had ‘em!
Probly the best guest services in the area great job guys. Check in was fast friendly breatfast was great .location was a plus centrally located to many restaurants. The only thing that i was not so happy with was the fact that this property has no elevator
This hotel meets and exceeds the standard I have come to expect from Best Western in the thirty years of traveling. Easy access from the freeway, clean grounds and rooms, and great service. Will stay here again with a knowledge of a great stay.
went to ontario to watch grand daughter play soft ball and arived early. Front desk lady went out of her way to check us in two hours early, most places just say cant do it. rooms above average, good tv reception. very good breakfast. strawberry waffles.
Room is big, bathroom is okay, beds are comfortable, but beware there is no elevator and you drag your suitcases up two flights of stairs if you stay on the second floor. Walking distance to several restaurants.
We had an awesome time beds were very comfotable hotel was nice and very clean staff was very friendly Breakfast was excellent we will be coming back again next month and will be staying with this best western again
Hotel was convenient, with adequate amenities and breakfast. No real problems other than having to change rooms because the beds weren't made up. The handicap washroom worked very well and was appreciated.
Best Western is a great place to stay without breaking the bank! Couldn't ask for better staff, very friendly, pleasant, and professional. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, and relaxing. There's shopping and eating super close to the hotel. If you haven't stayed at this location, you have to give them a try. You'll be glad you did!
I asked for a quiet room using the hotel website. I got a room at the rear, a little further from the interstate highway, but it was on the second floor and I had luggage to carry up the stairs because the hotel has no elevator. The website didn't reveal this. The desk agent didn't offer me another room. The room had a fairly strong odor of disinfectant. The toilet kept running. I fixed this myself. Just beware that there is no elevator if you are offered an upper story room.
Stayed here 2 nights. The place was very nice and clean. It was so refreshing to stay at a place that did not smell of cleaner or old musty. I saw that pets were coming in but I did not have any issues with my allergies.
Booked via BW and surprised to receive upgrade during check in. Very comfortable room, bed, clean, good layout. Second floor walk-up OK for us. Breakfast service good, but we prefer stronger coffee and fresh eggs. We will definitely go back.
We stopped in for a night's stay on our way back from Arizona. The location has lots of good options for dining and morning coffee or gas top up. Pool and hot tub were good. Rooms were comfortable and quiet on second floor. Service was excellent. Free breakfast was good, but lacking a few options we had at other locations (hard boiled eggs and pre-made oatmeal). Over all, quite pleased with our stay here. Value for a good night's stay for sure.
On day two of a three day drive from Palm Springs to Kelowna, B.C., Canada towing our RV we were in need of a warm and comfortable night. We got that in spades here in Ontario, Oregon Best Western. From Check in to breakfast, the experience was warm, comforting, relaxing, and delicious!! Our best Best Western experience in years! Do not hesitate to stop here. You will NOT be disappointed!!
We're able to accommodate adjoining rooms, had ample truck parking, beds were very comfortable, they have DirectTV, ac unit was very quiet. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom was a little bit cramped. But it was very clean. Would stay again.
I had surgery the next morning and needed sleep. The hot tub in our room was dangerous..water was slimey slick. I had to drain it and put a towel down to risk getting out without sliding. The room NEVER did cool off. After 2 visits to the front desk and 1 phone call they finally brought us a fan and SAID the AC was fixed. It wasnt. The room never cooled off. Horrible night, no sleep. The front desk people SUCKED.
This hotel is quiet, clean, and in a good location. The front desk was friendly and helpful. I don't believe they have an elevator, but it's only two stories. I've always been placed on the top floor but it's only been an issue when I had to haul my cooler up and down. There's several restaurants and stores nearby and a Dutch Bros Coffee! I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.
Wow Michael and Joanne were absolutely awesome soon as I got inside they were ready working with somebody but they did say hello and welcome to me I felt awesome I felt welcomed and I'll tell you as quick as I got to my room I was very happy about everything that they did for me. And then at 6 o'clock in the morning I got up for breakfast and everything was delicious Michael was still there I guess Joanne went home and there was another lady there but I forgot her name but everything was delicious thank you very much and I'll tell all my friends and family all about this hotel
Very nice place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed there coming and going. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Quiet and comfortable. Would stay there again!
Came in late, Although breakfast was amazing along with the attendant the Front Desk staff was not as friendly. Pool was nice in the morning for a swim. But rooms were a little dated they need some work. And trying to sleep in was impossible with the noise level.
A step up from most BW. And the best free breakfast of any chain we've found. Yvette in breakfast room is a gem!! She really helps you start your day off right. The location is quiet. Lobby is nicely appointed.
This was the first time that we've stayed at this Best Western location. It was a pet friendly hotel at the right place during our winter road trip from our home in NW Washington state to our Arizona destination. The usual friendly reception at check-in, in house breakfast, and plentiful parking made it a breeze. Bed was comfortable, the room clean and warm, and the staff hospitable. At breakfast, my wife wanted to make pancakes, but the machine was malfunctioning. The room attendant worked on it, got it going, and made my wife's pancakes, bringing rather to the table with an apology and a smile, including the syrup and butter! We'll stay here again.
Clean hotel, bed could have been more comfortable. The kids liked the indoor pool. The breakfast was great, especially the waffles and the attendant was very helpful. I thought the room rate could have been better, maybe it was just the time of year that we visited. We needed a place to stay as we were in town to visit a very ill family member. Otherwise I wouldn't pay that much to stay in Ontario.
our room was clean, a little dated, could use some more A/C plugins and a couple USB ports. One thing I noticed was the inability to leave any of the fans running for noise blocking, the heater had to be heating or cooling, and the bathroom fan was on a 15 min. timer. Prices run a little high, generally, in Ontario, and there's the onion processing smells, sometimes wonderful, in December, not so much. Not noticeable in the room.
Best Western has done a commendable job during the past few years refreshing their brand. This property reflects the update and offers clean, quiet and comfortable accommodations, reasonably price and convenient to I-84. Booking through the well-designed and intuitive Best Western app is easy-peasy and makes it easy to plan ahead or reserve on the fly.
The Hotel is the nicest in the area, I've tried them all due to business travel. The free room upgrade made my last stay amazing! Thanks to the staff who work so hard behind the scenes to make my stay so care-free! - Bud
We stayed at this hotel during a family trip. The hotel was clean and quiet, the bed comfortable. Kids loved the pool and it was great having breakfast there. We especially were pleased how pleasant the staff were, the fresh cookies in the lobby and how accommodating it was for our dog.
Room was great, bed was comfy, breakfast was awesome, pool was cool, hot tub was hot, staff was friendly. No complaints about this place. Will be back in 6 months, and will stay again. Thanks for making it home away from home.
My business trips bring me here a couple of times a year, sometimes more and after a tiring drive of hundreds of miles this motel is a familiar site.It is quite, feels like home to an extent and employees are there to help but in background so there is no intrusion.Motel is close to I84,(can not here the noise),fast food, hamburger places, subs and oriental just to name a few.Downtown and all its good steakhouses are at short drive. And heck if you dare you can walk across the bridge into Idaho.Remember rooms are not the same, feel free to ask for best you may just get it.Streaming Netflix was not an issue, thank you and breakfast was enjoyable.
Car broke down in Fruitland, OR and we were towed to Ontario. Such a friendly, helpful welcome when we arrived at BW. Our room was clean, very comfortable and provided the destressing environment we needed. The next day they helped us get to where our car had been repaired, just like a trusted friend.
Okay, to be honest the hotel was very nice and the staff was great. No problem with either. Breakfast was even great. My only issue is I was woken up before 2:00 am with a barking dog in the next room. It didn't just bark a couple times and stop. It went on for about 10 minutes so I called the front desk as I'm sure the owners are out drinking or something. The dog stopped barking very shortly after but then I could hear furniture being moved around in that room as the wall would get HIT every so often. In the end I didn't get much sleep. In the morning I had an envelope under my door. I thought it would be a note saying we are sorry about the dog issue or something. Nope, just the bill. When I went for breakfast the room with the dog had dirty towels in front of the door in the hall with what looked like dog poop and pee on them. I ask at the front desk if people like that are put on a "No Vacancy" list... I guess they are not. Now don't get me wrong, I like dogs but I would never leave a dog in a room when I go out drinking or gambling. It's more the people I'm upset with as I'm sure they left the room with the dog to be barking, pooping and peeing. Maybe I'll find a hotel that is more people friendly next time. I expected to get a little "i'm sorry you didn't much sleep" at least in my note under the door. I got very little sleep and no apologies even though I even mentioned it at the front desk in the morning and pointed out the poopy towels in the hall.
The hotel is very nice to stay at. The breakfast could be better but it has a lot of options. The rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. I was not able to use the pool or workout facilities but I would assume they are in the same shape as the rooms. I would stay here again for sure.
Was met with Mike at reception. Very outgoing, friendly and professional. Could not do enough to satisfy the customer. Excellent. Breakfast gal was wonderful also. All staff were very accommodating and greeted the guests (I was outside at 0545 hrs and the staff greeted me on their way in for work). Kudos to Mike.Breakfast had several hot/cold choices, well laid out and checked/replenished which is very important for food safety. Good bed, linen, towels etc. No scrimping here. The property is older but very well maintained. Absolutely neat and clean. Clean and neat is not always a trait of hotels. Outside area was clear of debris, good landscaping including what looked like some new trees to improve the area. Internet very fast, excellent TV. Anthony of Hotel Impossible would be happy! Well Done!
Very pleasant front desk staff, friendly maids that actually said hello, and how are you - amazing! Breakfast was tasty. Bed was super comfortable, and bathroom amenities were very nice - love the lighted hairdryer. Nice soaps and dispensers. Room was very clean and well decorated. They actually have specific parking for RV and trucks and trailers which was super nice.
Typical well maintained and run BW, but thin walls and ceiling made for a noisy night w other guests walking around in room above us until 1:00 a.m. Ask for upstairs room. Tiny bathroom much smaller than comparable motels.
Great hotel and great service by all the staff, specially Wvette, she made breakfast be a great experience. Very clean and it looks like it just got remodel . The pool and hot tub is open 24 hrs which is great feature as well
Great location, pleanty of restaurants, the hotel staff was friendly, the rooms were large and clean. The breakfast buffet had a big selection and was tasty. Great coffee. I would definitely stay here again.
Stayed 3 nights for work. The room was clean and well maintained. My room was very close to an entrance so that was convenient. It was difficult to keep the room at a comfortable temperature, I kept having to adjust the heat/air but other than that everything was great.
We stayed one night. The pet friendly room was clean, and didn't smell! The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good, the only thing wrong was the yogurt was expired that both me and my husband picked up to eat. That said it wont stop us from staying here again, we will just check the dates on the yogurt before we eat it. The staff was friendly and easy to get on and off the freeway.
Thank you JoAnne you went the extra mile for me and my family. Your help with my disabled mother made our trip so enjoying. The staff here will take full care of your family / business needs. Thank you again!!
This is an older property, but it has clean rooms, a comfortable bed, tasty breakfast and great staff. The room was quiet and great for an overnight stay. Note, the hotel has 3 floors and no elevator. If that is a concern, request a first floor room.
Mike & Monica went out of their way to make our stay great. Monica was able to arrange for us to stay in the same room when we had to extend our stay. We will definitely be staying there again in the future.
I always stay here when in the area. Never any bad surprises at this hotel. Great staff, super comfortable bed, extremely clean, a good breakfast, easy on and off the freeway all add up to a worry free stay.
Quick efficient check in, very helpful front desk person. The room was very clean and comfortable. Close to several restaurants. TV and wifi worked great. The grounds were well maintained. Quiet night and a good sleep. In room coffee was appreciated . The included breakfast was above expectations. Beat bada book bada boom by a mile.
This Best Western is great! The staff is very attentive to your needs. It is well maintained and attention is given to detail. It is clean and quiet there but also close to restaurants (walking distance for some) and a Wal-Mart. Great Choice if you are looking for a place to stay. If you need anything, ask for Mike. He is an asset.
We have stayed at many Best Westerns over the years and several have been poor experiences. This stay was unfortunately one of those. If we hadn't already unpacked for the night we would have cancelled and gone elsewhere. When we opened the door to our room, the smell of cleaner was so strong that it almost burned our noses. Then as we are heading out to get more bags, two other customers came down the hall with two giant dogs. This must have made another dog mad because there was some fighting between them. The room made my allergies so bad that I couldn't sleep. Obviously the extra "pet cleaning fee" didn't do anything for whomever had their beast in the room before us. We are done with this hotel chain.
It was a very enjoyable stay. Staff was friendly and attentive. Hotel was clean and in great condition. Breakfast was great. Overall it was an excellent experience. Easy on and off access to the freeway. Close to great restaurants.
I have stayed at the Ontario BW and Suites for quite some time now. I have used this location for business mainly. I find them very accommodating. The location is close to restaurants. I have also used this location for my family. It is great if you are traveling to the Oregon coast. The kids can hit the inside pool and enjoy. You can relax here and then head out. Don't forget the breakfast bar. It has got to be one of the best in all of the BW's that I stay in. Great spot to stay.
This was a great one night stay for our road trip. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Front desk was very helpful in suggesting a place for dinner. Enjoyed the free breakfast with a variety of hot and cold options.
Decent location and quiet rooms. Nice looking inside & out. Quality hotel in all regards except no exercise room and eating area is too small. Still, we would certainly return. Cookies available in the evening, paper provided, easy highway access.
We arrived late and found two welcoming folks at the front desk. Check in was easy and at the conclusion she informed us we had been upgraded to a suite. Wow...it was a nice room to say the very least. The bed was comfortable and the free wi-fi worked just fine. Breakfast was good as we've come to expect from BW.
This establishment is clean, quiet and has a friendly staff. What more do you want? It is missing one feature that most have. It does not have an exercise room, so if that is important to you be for-warned. There is an indoor pool and hot tube. There were cookies offered in the late afternoon which was a nice touch. The breakfast room was small but was kept well supplied and offered the normal selections. We stayed two days and had no problems.
We love staying at BW hotels as they are always so clean and comfortable. Always in a good location. Our last stay we were upgraded to a very nice suite because of points. Very much appreciated. Thanks you Best Western!
Very accommodating front desk staff. After check in and getting out stuff in a room we noticed the hotel had Suites and after a stressful week felt we would be more comfortable in the Suite. The staff was very accommodating even though our original room would need to be checked for cleanliness again. The rooms are clean & comfortable and we had a restful quiet night. We travel Utah to Washington often and this will be our choice for hotel from now on.
I just want to write that I was very impressed with the customer service I received and the way that the night time auditor took time to talk to me about my personal life and do his job very professional. Thank you Mike!
Two things stood out about this lodging. First, while the hall was lit with all of the lights there were, the hall still was dark and felt old. In the room the air freshener was at a very high level and very cloying. Small breakfast room with the typical average breakfast.
I have stayed at quite a few mid priced motels. I would consider this to be at the top of my list. There was nothing that was wrong and a lot that was more than right. We stayed two nights and enjoyed them both.
My family stayed here for the eclipse, so the hotel was busy. The staff were great. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. The only downside to mention was the pool was a bit on the chilly side and a little murky - probably just overwhelmed with the number of people.
All the employees were friendly and courteous. Mike(?) went above and beyond what I have come to expect. Thanks and KUDOS to you. I would highly recommend this Best Western to anybody looking for great customer service
I stay here regularly when travelling to visit family. There is easy access off I-84. There's a good choice of dining places nearby. It's clean and pleasant. The staff is very polite and accommodating. The breakfast room is clean and the staff is helpful. They have a nice variety of edibles and it tastes good.
After long days drive I pulled in and got rested. There's eateries pretty much all around, and when I asked the staff recommended a local pizza place as well. There's a cluster of hotels right in the area, and this is one of the dog-friendly ones. Very quiet, clean, and a solid breakfast room.
We loved this hotel. The suites are great. We had a King bed with a pull out sofa sleeper in a separate room. The room with the pull out sofa had a couple of chairs. It also had a nice soaking tub with jets. What a great way to end our vacation.
We were just driving through from Utah to Oregon and needed to stay one night. We chose this one because it was on our way. Disappointed that the room was noisier than we expected. Could hear next door when they're having a shower. Ceiling was so thin that we constantly heard footsteps and kids running around above us. Other than that, it was fine for just one night.
Had not used Best Western in the past 10 years due to convenient location, or other hotel affiliation. This was a pleasant return to a well managed, clean, and convenient stopover of a Best Western motel. Welcomed in, management explained the amenities, and even suggested an ok place to dine that evening. Used the pool, ice machine and wi-fi. Got well rested and liked the check out program. Will use in the future and would recommend this stop to friends.
This hotel and staff know the value of its guest. The experience I received from the management and housekeeping showed it. Stayed at different Ontario hotels before but this one excels them all. Thanks
Very nice hotel & very clean. Great helpful staff. Breakfast was great and staff wonderful. Bathroom was a little small but great shower and very clean. Room was spacious --nice desk and comfor chair and plenty of room to walk around. Would definitely stay again.
The stay was great! Cookies were waiting for us as we checked in, we were checked in with no hassle and the overall condition of the place was clean and pleasant. My grandkids had a very super first time here.
Travel is exhausting so it's always nice to find a hotel that is quiet, has comfortable beds, and is close to food and shopping. This place is right off the freeway and is all of those things I mentioned and more. For example, I never heard any road noise, neighbors or people in the hall and the hotel was 100% full both nights of my stay. The room was very clean right down to finding the tv remote in a "clean" pouch. They also offer a 24 hour access pool and spa.
On a Harley blasting through Ontario was a launching point for a look at Hell's Canyon and then north. Now pay attention here people. I have done a lot of touring on a bike around the great American West. Stay at a Best Western and you're assured of a house that meets standards at a fair price. They are clean, maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful in most cases. This BW is no exception. A great front desk reception resulted in a very comfortable room. Let's face it, Ontario is not the hotbed of tourist attractions but presents a great launch pad for what eastern Oregon has to offer. For a fair price I have a room that serves my purposes well..
Stayed at the Ontario Best Western en route to Los Angeles earlier this month. What we needed was good clean overnight accommodation with a comfortable room and reasonable breakfast and that is exactly what we got. We have often stayed at Best Western hotels while travelling in the US and are rarely disappointed. The Ontario hotel is not a luxury hotel but provides all the basics and does so efficiently. Our room was clean and comfortable. It provided internet, a refrigerator, TV and two comfortable queen beds. The hot breakfast was basic, substantial and tasty and provided a good start to our day. Overall it met all our needs.
Very enjoyable stay at Ontario Oregon Best Western. Everything was clean and people were very friendly. We were there for a wedding and needed to relax before we went. Enjoyed the closeness of places to eat, and places to shop.
We have stayed in almost every hotel in Ontario Oregon and by far this is the best one. All though getting the room I requested was a little difficult, a new hire. I wanted the King jacuzzi which is a jacuzzi bath tub. The reservation person kept telling me that there was not a room of that description but they had a King hot tub. Finally a more experienced person took over the call and I got the room I wanted. Miner detail. Still the best place to stay in Ontario Oregon, if you have to stay there.
Mike and Monica have been very awesome and are always happy to help. the management has done a great job with the condition of the rooms, the breakfast has always been presented very well. the hot tub and pool are very clean and towels are always present the overall hotel is clean and very presentable it is located right off the freeway and is within walking distance for food and shopping
Looked OK on the outside. Very outdated on the inside. Limited electrical outlets (some did not work at all) Priced higher than much nicer hotels we stayed in on this trip. Missing grout in tiled areas. No elevator to second floor. Folks were dragging heavy luggage up the stairwell. Expected more from Best Western.
Hotel was clean, service was excellent, pool was great (24 hours!!!!), bed was comfy, and breakfast was outstanding! What else do you need when you are away from home?? BW for sure! Will definitely be back. We just love it!
We stayed here one night in one of their king suites as we headed home from the Oregon coast. The room, while a bit dated (there was an old telephone on the wall in the bathroom - haven't seen anything like that in at least 10 years), was immaculately clean and, more importantly, very quiet. The bed was comfortable and we got a great night's sleep. It was quite hot (over 100 degrees) on our arrival and the room was nice and cool when we got in it. We were happy to see there were 2 air conditioners in our suite - one in the main living area and one in the bedroom. Hotel staff was super friendly, and even a cleaning person asked if we enjoyed our stay as we passed by him on our way out the next morning. We'd definitely stay here again.
Terrible, terrible experience, bad customer service, owner Mike new of an issue but failed to discuss issues with me after he spoke to my wife......front desk employees have to idea what customer service is, we will never stay at this place again, it's pretty obvious after a 4 night stay our business is not important.....
everything was good except the size of the bathroom and no elevator. when taking a reservation desk person should advise of that .the breakfast could be enhanced with bacon, hard boiled eggs and cheese.
I loved everything about this hotel and is one of the nicest Best Westerns that we stayed at. The check in was easy and the lady gave us a couple places to go for dinner. The room was spacious with a refrigerator and microwave, the bed was comfortable and loved the a/c. The breakfast room and breakfast was great and so was the staff. We will back again.
After a long drive (over 15 hours) with our 12 year old, we were eager for some solid and comfortable rest. The Ontario Best Western provided this to us without a doubt! The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet (set back from the main road, which was very nice), and close to other amenities in the town. Special thanks for the 24-hour pool and hot tub, which we were more than happy to partake in after hours and hours on the road.
Check-In and Check-Out was very quick and easy. Everything was basically as expected. Very clean. Only minor complaint was that the body wash was almost out in the shower. Not too big of a deal as I didn't expect it to be there anyway.
Good place to stay , we had a large room which was a bonus, as the hotel is sat out on its own at the edge of a retail park it does mean it is quite, so you can get a good night sleap. There are no lifts so check you can get a ground floor room if this is going to be a problem to you.
The bed I slept in was too soft for the back. It would be very helpful to have firmer beds in hotel rooms in general. And I have to say it is somewhat surprising how expensive medium range hotels have gotten.
not much to do in Ontario OR but this is a short distance from the freeway. older property by clean. room had a odd smell when we first entered. might have been a musty smell from the air conditioner. also all the pillows were big fat pillows so if you layer your head on one your chin stuck into your chest. used a sweatshirt that night as a pillow. they need a variety and add some thin ones to the bunch. otherwise the staff was great and the room was clean and at a fair price
The bed was fine. The shampoo and conditioner awful. The internet was worse. Did not work at all. The breakfast was fine. All of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We wouldn't stay there again.
I would recommend this hotel!! Staff and location were great and were able to accommodate us an extra night! The lady at breakfast went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and made sure we were all fed! Great experience!!
This Best Western in Ontario, Oregon has been consistent over the years. Scores are always a 6-9 in almost all areas. There are 4-5 other Hotels within the length of a football field away, and this is the one you should choose.
The room and hotel were very clean. Comfortable bed. Nice shower. I liked that the sink/vanity was in the bathroom and not in the main room. Most Best Westerns put it in the main room. No elevator, so be sure to ask for ground floor if you can't carry luggage up stairs.
The best breakfast buffet I have ever had. The person in charge of it was fantastic. Very clean and comfortable. The front desk personal were very helpful and were consistent smiles. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
This location in particular is very accommodating. I have stayed at this hotel several different times on business and I always feel relaxed knowing that there will plenty parking for over sized vehicles, hotel is plenty decent, staff are extremely pleasant, and within a few steps you have dining, shopping, and vehicle services all within a short skip across the road. equally, this hotel location puts you easily on/off the interstate. I've always had a good stay here. Try the all you can eat Chinese buffet too, its in the Walmart shopping center across the side street. AWESOME
I found absolutely nothing of which I could find fault during our stay. The staff were wonderful. The motel was in great repair. The room was comfortable. The grounds and facilities were pleasant. And the breakfast was way above par. As I told the motel staff, I have had no better anywhere in the United States. Not quite as good as Europe or the UK, but for the states - Magnificent! The Irish lass who managed the breakfast was engaging, friendly, professional, and efficient. The entire atmosphere was quite welcoming.
I was travelling home to Vancouver from Nashville. I had just driven through Boise Idaho and 2 storms. I was hoping to get to Baker City when I got hit with a third storm. I found the Best Western in Ontario Oregon, and they were extremely welcoming and helpful. Because I did not make it as far as I intended that night, I needed to leave early in the morning. They made sure that everything was organized so I could leave early. This included packing a few extra snacks for my drive.
Was welcomed by the clerk. Great room, comfortable bed! They were out of accessible rooms but were apologetic about that. Very quite. Great rest after a long day of driving in he rain. Would definitely recommend this site!!!
This is always my go to hotel when in Ontario. Nice breakfast (with pancake machine!) great tv service, pleasant staff. The rooms are nicely done and have comfortable beds. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a fair price for a stress free stay.
Arrived kinda late at night, and the guy working the desk, Mike, was very helpful and friendly. Which is great after a very long drive! The room we had didn't quite work for us, so he moved us to an upgraded room. Which was perfect and spacious and wonderful! Thanks Mike! The breakfast is good, too. They have a pancake machine, eggs, bacon, good coffee, etc, etc. Would definitely stay here again!
This is a very nice hotel. Friendly staff, very clean, great swimming pool and hot tub, good restaurants near by and just off the interstate. I can't say enough about the staff, just excellent people.
Nice place, clean with helpful and pleasant staff, a great breakfast, 24 hour pool and hot tub. This hotel is within walking distance to shopping, restersunts and fast food! Great choice for a large family
excellent rating 5 stars we would deffinitly stay at this hotel again and would recomened it to anyone the entire staff were more than helpful and friendly they made our stay most enjoyable the rooms were very nice the breakfeast was good our entire family enjoyed the pool and hot tub
Thanks Best Western! Enjoyed a well needed relaxing stay after a 9 day river trip on the Owhyee, woke up early to get on top of some emails, Mike at the front desk was happy to listen to some of my stories as I shared some pictures with him from the trip. Very thoughtful and genuine guy. Its nice people who enjoy their jobs that really make hotel stays memorable and enjoyable. Thanks for the coffee and pancakes Mike!
We would definitely stay here again. The staff was pleasant and helpful, facilities clean and updated. Laundry was clean and reasonably priced. Location of hotel was easy to get to and near any services you might need. Excellent choice of restaurants and stores nearby.
I stay here every week and since this establishment has taken over new owners everything has gotten so much better. These people care please. come and stay and this really nice Best Western and feel like you're wanted
This hotel was super clean and the staff super friendly. It has easy access to the interstate. The breakfast was the standard selection and was kept well stocked by the attendant. We stayed in one of the suites and is was very spacious with 2 TV's and even a small counter with 2 bar stools. The only thing missing was an exercise room. We will definitely stay here again.
Very nice staff, front desk as well as the breakfast attendant. The room was clean and nice. Had a dog and we were given a easy access room to the outdoors for her. Wifi and TV worked perfectly. Had a very nice stay.
If you thought good customer service and sincere hospitality were forgotten relics of the past you need to stay at this property. You will be pleasantly surprised. From making reservations over the phone to check out we were treated like VIPs.
Excellent!!!!. we was on a road trip and was looking for hotels with Good breakfast.. This is a nice hotel that fits in our budget, also nice neat and clean ... Staff was very nice. There are shopping places nearby.. a gas station and Denny's available.
A whole bunch of well-known chains compete for clientele in this small town. The Best Western is always a good choice for us, from business class to high end, clean and friendly. We were happy to get as good of a rate as we did. They always have a really decent breakfast which sends us on our way, this the last day of our six week road trip. It is worth at least $20 more per night for this solid performance.
I had made a reservation at another hotel for 5 nights that I had confirmed a few days prior and then again the same day letting that hotel know when I would arrive. When I got to that hotel they had cancelled my room by mistake and had no rooms for me! I was very upset to say the least. I called Best Western they helped me immediately. The lady at the other hotel who made the mistake was kind enough to pay for my room that night at Best Western and said I could go back the next day. I did not want to go back and glad I didn't. My stay at Best Western was excellent and the staff, friendly and wonderful, going out of there way to assist in anyway they could, rooms were spotless and pool and hot tub great! I had always stayed at Best Western in the past, but my father had talked me into staying in the other hotel. I won't make that mistake again. Thank you so much to all the staff! Paula
This hotel is two levels, has a great full breakfast and the employees are very kind. You need to know that there is no elevator, so if you need help or have a disability you should let them know in advance, they are very accomodating!
The staff was very accommodating and nice. They were very considerate and made us feel comfortable. The room was very nice as well. It had enough space and I loved that there was a Jacuzzi. Everything about my stay was amazing. Definitely will stay at this Best Western again when visiting Ontario.
We found this property to be a great place to stay. Quiet setting even though it was convenient to the freeway. Very good breakfast. Hot food was hot and everything was fresh The staff was friendly and caring.
Service far exceeded my expectations. The staff kept checking with me to make sure all was going well and to see if I needed anything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay at Best Western again.
Conveniently located. My room was spacious, clean and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and with 4 pillows I had more than enough! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I asked for an extension on check out time and was given it with no hassles or charges. As for breakfast there was a good variety of foods, from hot eggs and sausages to yogurts, toast, cereal, waffles and toast.
I usually stay at a Best Western property as I pretty much know what to expect and I like their breakfasts. Our room was nice and clean, as expected. My one disappointment was that the bathroom was VERY small and the shower, toilet and sink were all in one room, not like the rooms with the sink/makeup area separate. Two people could not get ready at the same time if they needed the sink/mirror, and if one of them was in the shower, the other could not be using the sink for getting ready. This may seem petty, but it was a big issue when you have more than one person staying in the room. It is a 2 story property with no elevator, so if you cannot carry your baggage upstairs, please ask for a first floor room. The breakfast was all right. Plenty of cereals and fruit, juice, pastries, English muffins and toast. Scrambled eggs and sausage. No biscuits and gravy, which I especially like, but I have noticed that some of the properties vary their selections daily. We got a good night's sleep and that was what we were looking for.
Overall very good, had to use a sofa bed that was not comfortable, that was the only down side. Staff did all they could with the resources they had. Clean and quiet, good place to bring dogs. We will come back.
this place is terrific. I had a handicapped room and it was on the ground floor AND had a direct outside entrance, my door five feet from my handicap parking spot. all the other rooms you have to enter via the front desk and walk own a long corridor, but some bright architect designed this with a crip like me in mind. the room was great, it had every possible amenity and convenience. and was clean as a whistle. nice comfy bed too, king-size. for what I paid, this place was a ten on a scale of one to ten. front desk staff was very nice too.
I stayed in the Best Western hotel in Ontario OR a couple of weeks ago. I was sick with a fever and it was a comfortable place to stay until I could travel again. Everything was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. The internet was slow and I had some trouble staying on line. Overall, I'd stay there again.
If you looking for a diamond in rough this is not it,however if you need a place to stop, rest and have a quiet evening will do.Plenty of fast food joints around, within walking distance.Steak on the menu, well downtown Ontario has a few restaurants,Mackeys's and Brewsky's comes to mind, average prices, good beef and brews. Here is the kicker,if you do not mind the walk, perhaps 30 minutes, round trip, you can cross the bridge over Snake River into Idaho and back, does it for me every time. One more thing,Ontario is on Mountain Time Zone, most of Oregon is Pacific,1 Hour, plan accordingly, town shuts down early especially in winter months and consider the breakfast hours at the motel.Happy travels!
The receptionist was friendly, the room was clean and breakfast was plentiful. It has a really nice pool area. It is really far off of the road and really quiet. The bed was comfortable. I would definately stay here again.
Great hotel and very friendly staff. Very clean rooms, very modern rooms, would definitely stay there again when in the area. Many places close by to eat or shop at. Great amount of parking either in the lot, or on the street if you have a larger vehicle.
The rooms are ok nothing special but has a tv, micro and refrigerator, all you need but I liked this hotel as it was off the highway a long block so we didn't hear the traffic noise. But at 5 o'clock in the morning the people in the next room started to take their showers, the water noise from the pipes in the wall woke us right up, just when I thought I could try and go back to sleep another person started a shower. We never heard any room noise from the next room but if you're unlucky to be by a early riser you will be too.
Room not clean, red alage in tub. Bathroom door would not shut. Unfriendly and not clean. Not up to Best Western quality. Will not stay there again, not recommend it to any one. The breakfast was very poor and we became ill from it. Major changes need to be done before ever thinking about staying there again.
all was the usual for a Best Western except for the flies!WE killed 2 in the room first thing and there were more to follow.Breakfast was a nightmare.Flies on everything.Everything seemed clean but with flies ...who knows.
Reasonable hotel. Not impressed. Though clean and no complaints on service but Breakfast leaves much to be desired, especially if you are vegetarian. Breakfast place also small. nevertheless I left happy staying there.
We were able to purchase two rooms with out having reservations, as we were on our way home and didn't know when we would feel up to stopping for the night. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. She gave us two rooms that were perfect for the number of people we were traveling with. The pool was awesome. It was not crowded and the pool was a very comfortable temperature. The hot tub was so relaxing too. The only thing that I saw that needed immediate attention was the amount of flies that would swarm inside every time an outside door was opened. When eating the nummy hot breakfast in the morning, the dining room was inundated with flies. It was horrible trying to eat while fanning ones food to keep the flies off the plates. I wonder why there were no fly traps that were used at night when there was no food/people present? I truly don't believe the flies were there as a sign of filth or dirt, as the flies were all over outside and in several neighboring restaurants too, it was just that there didn't seem to be any remediational attempts to rid their premises of said flies. The food area was clean and the hot food was hot and covered. Also, one of our non smoking rooms has the distinct smell of cigarette smoke from previous users.
Stayed on our way along highway 84. Was a decent, quiet place to stay. Nothing fancy, but the room was newly updated, stilled smelled of fresh paint. Staff was very nice. Also had plenty of late night food options close by.
the hotel was under construction when we stayed here. that being said the room was clean just had some patch spots on the walls. large room with fridge and microwave. the breakfast was good lots of options. the staff was friendly.
We checked several hotels in the local area and chose the BW. We found it to be clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed being able to walk to shopping, restaurants, etc. The staff was very personable and helpful. The lobby was inviting and the breakfast was hot and offered a variety of options.
Nice quiet place right off the Interstate. After a beautiful drive through Southern Oregon we arrived at the Best Western. Not sure why, but the mood of the hotel seemed to really fit with the relaxing mood we were in after our drive. Would stay there again. One downside, they had a pool, but it was so cloudy we decided to not even get wet.
Stopped here on way to Portland, OR from Utah and again on way back. Rooms were clean and we loved having a microwave and fridge. Pool is open 24/7 which was nice. Fyi, they do not have an elevator so be ready to pull your luggage upstairs. Breakfast in am was good with nice variety of waffles, eggs, French toast, sausage, yogurt, pastry, etc. Good price and good central location.
First time we stayed at this hotel. It is off the road so it was very quite. They do not have an exercise room, but the hotel across the street is owned by them and we went there and used their facilities.
The consistent product of Best Western is reliable when one needs an overnight stay and you know you are getting quality. The staff at BW - Ontario expressed concern over our needs of a ground floor and went out of their way to accommodate us. We have used this hotel in the past and will use it again as we travel in the eastern part of Oregon. We prefer Ontario to the traffic in Boise. I recommend this hotel for consistency of serving their clients.
We definitely prefer BW hotels but this one fell short. No elevator, non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke .Offered another room quite a distance from the room we had already brought our luggage. No elevator.
This Best Western rates right in the middle for me. It was a good value and everything was copacetic. The suite was a nice with a kitchenette included and the staff was kind and helpful as always. The décor of the building, the halls, and the rooms was lacking any kind of touch that makes a traveler feel like they are closer to home than the road, thus leaving the experience with some things to be desired.
This motel is not so easy to find. It is a walk up building (no elevator) It is walking distance from a shopping center and many food choices. Rooms are large. Seemed clean and well cared for. I would stay there again.
The hotel is nice and friendly. it is within walking distance of various restaurants. The hotel was quiet. The staff were good, the pool looked clean although we did not use it. We had a handicapped room which we didn't need but we appreciated the access to an outdoor door.
The hotel was fine for a short stay. The AC wouldn't stay on, the front desk people never totally seemed like they knew what they were doing. The bathroom door hit the toilet when it opened. The hotel was over all loud as well.
We made reservations a few hours before our arrival date with a very nice lady. The room we got was a king suite, as the other rooms were already booked. Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet and neat. One thing we find is that the rooms could use more light, but it was sufficient. The breakfast was very nice: scrambled eggs, French toast, sausage links, cereal choices, yogurt, juice and coffee and more.
We were unable to stay in Caldwell as usual, So we got a two room "suite" here for more than it was worth really, but it was June and everything was almost sold out. And the room was nice, one bed in bedroom and fold out sofa bed in the other. Hotel itself is not bad. But could use some updating and no elevators. Breakfast was VERY good and the girl working the breakfast room was excellent!. Our check in was alright, took a little while, but that's ok, its just one guy at the desk and hes trying. So we get the keys, Mom struggles up the stairs and we get to the room and the key card wont work. So Mom stays there and I run back down for him to re scan them, I waited for a couple minutes for a guest to get directions and her key cards then I explain and he says, "Oh yeah that happens a lot". Great! When we finally get into the room and check it, the t.v. in the bedroom doesn't power on, I poked around with it but couldn't figure it out and wanted to get the car unloaded, so Mom called the front desk and the guy told her he "couldn't do anything right away cause it was busy, and he was the only one there, but he would try to come up and look at it as soon as he could". I finished unloading the car and tried again and found that the power cord was falling out of the back of the tv itself. Plug it back in, good to go, So I headed down to tell the guy at the desk we got it working. And waited in line for ten minutes while the guy, who was now accompanied by a very bitter looking woman I think was the manager. And I should say she was "there" but it didn't appear she was there to help the guy at all. After the guy finally got done talking about motorcycles with the guest who was checking in I stepped up and told him " I'm in room # Yada and I fixed the t.v. yada yada, yada, And He barley even acknowledges me. The bitter woman never looked up. Now I'm not rich. And I dont expect to be treated like Mr Trump. But I'm also not a jerk! We paid nearly 200 bucks for this place. The attention of the staff should be included in that price. Disappointing for a Best Western.
I travel a lot and stay at Best Westerns to earn points and take advantage of their promotions. Because of this I have been able to purchase and earn travel cards. I had two rooms reserved for my family and paid for them with a stack of travel cards. The young woman at the registration desk was so patient and dealt with me an all of my travel cards and was so nice about it. She made the process very easy considering how much extra attention I needed just to get me and my family checked in.
One night stay traveling the northwest USA. Good breakfast, comfortable beds, clean rooms. Hot tub and indoor pool. everything we want at a reasonable price. Easy to find right off of Interstate. Would stay here again.
Absolutely no problems. Quiet room even with the AC on most of the time. Check in was fast and everything we needed was either available or made available. The only concern was even our non-smoking room had the lingering odor of smoke when it likely was a smoking room.
Suprisingly large room. There was a living room with couch, chair, wet bar, refrigerator, microwave and TV. In the bedroom there was a king bed and TV. Very comfortable bed. Air conditioning worked well. Room was clean. A little out of date. Breakfast was the same as every other motel complimentary breakfast.
The front desk reservationist, Dezaree, was very pleasant and helpful. The young woman who oversaw the complimentary breakfast area was helpful and pleasant as well. We enjoyed the jacuzzi which was on the first floor by the lobby. Hotel conveniently located to a nice restaurant and shopping center.
Bed was surprisingly comfortable, and it was appreciatively clean. The hotel in general needs updated, it looks and is decorated like it hasn't been updated in 30 years. The pool and hot tub were small, but clean. Breakfast was standard.
Our room had a king size bed and a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Looked like it had been updated. Our daughters room with two queen beds, still had more dated furniture. Rooms were clean and had refrigerator's and microwave. Pool open late. We stayed overnight on our way to Oregon and it worked well for us. Breakfast was picked over so not much left to choose from.
This motel is right on the border between Oregon and Idaho. We had Room 204, so we had LOTS of room.. The room was very clean and very quiet. Small fridge and microwave -- and a very comfortable king bed. Breakfast included.
My wife and I stayed 3 nights in a King Hot Tub room. It was a nice, well lit room with amenities you would expect at a good Best Western. The staff was courteous and we had no problems. You may wish to drive to a good restaurant.
Very large room, nice pool and very friendly , our kids had a great time and the room was very large with a kitchenette and a separate room for my husband and myself. Very good value for the price. Would stay here again .
We were in the area for my nephew's graduation and this was a good choice. There aren't a lot of options in the area and we felt this was a really good choice. It was also very affordable. There are two things that they do really well. The first is their breakfast. I was expecting a very limited continental breakfast as part of our room reservation, but it included eggs, sausage, french toast, yogurt, toast, cereal, and fruit in addition to really good coffee. Well done! The other nice perk was the 24-hour pool and hot tub. It was nice to be able to take the kids for a swim late at night as well as early in the morning.
mom and i reserved a room for my daughters wedding. the room was very nice and comfortable. I wish you did't allow pets. the breakfast was ok eggs kinda runny and warm not hot. but the rest was good. well i don't have any thing else to say but i have to put in 200 words. I hope this is enough
Very disappointed with our stay. Reserved a suite we had stayed in previously, had a kitchenette and a separate bedroom. Was perfect for our grandkids coming to visit, one of whom has cancer. The room was not available 1 night so they said they would upgrade us to a suite with a jacuzzi. We get checked in and it is far from a suite but a small room, no kitchenette. The jacuzzi was a small tub with jets. And the free breakfast you had to fight 20 little kids with no adult supervision for. We were missled being told it was an upgrade. This is the last Best Western we will ever stay at.
It was ok but just ok. A decent place to sleep but not the greatest. The hotel is in need of remodeling. The room was clean enough but the hallways were not. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. I don't feel it was near worth the price of over $100 bucks. I think $70 would be a high price for this hotel.
Tried to explain problem with my reservation but they wouldn't listen or provide any helpful advice so I ended up paying twice. I have always liked Best Western Hotels but these guys dropped the ball.
I like the predictability of staying at a Best Western. The room is very clean and things arranged so it is easy to use. The service at the counter is friendly and helpful. Questions are answered with good information of where to eat and go while we are on a short overnight stay. I choose Best Western often and this one in Ontario is on my destination list the next time I go to Boise.
This BW location offers a great place just off the beaten path of the interstate so its not noisy and yet close to "hit the road" in the morning. breakfast has been good and if you need to eat at a restaurant they are close by many to choose from for a small town. The motel is a clean and comfortable facility with very professional staff!
Old, poor updates (one working wall outlet to charge phones), Felt dirty, dark, no hot water at 8;30 a.m., cold pool, no towels. Price $106 per night. Left after 1st night, moved to Hampton/Nampa. Same price luxurious rooms, lobby, outstanding breakfast.
The room was impeccable for the price. Staff was wonderful(Sami and Skyler) made me feel at home, free breakfast in the morning was great hot food was hot and choices were good. Next trip through I I will be staying there it will be my stop every year between Denver and Seattle.
Last minute reservation, provided comfortable room, loads of hot water and free WiFi. Checked in at 8.30am and checked out the following morning....they afforded us breakfast both mornings and only Charged for 1 night!
While at first glance our room seemed fine hair came down the tub surround at the top, there was a pair of socks left on the floor under the bathroom sink, there were old tissues and an earring behind one of the bedside cabinets. The cleaning quality fell far below expectations for a Best Western. On the plus side, the bed was extremely comfortable, internet of a good speed and breakfast was good.
There are not too many options out in Ontario, Oregon. This is a nice, clean place with a pool to wear out your kids before you get in the car again. Easy to access and priced moderately. Quiet place to relax when on the road. A lot of stores are nearby so you can easily re-supply.
Cons: The tv worked, but the satellite said no service on every channel. We arrived late so no biggie but didn't work in the morning. We were running late to a funeral so after the first person jumped in the shower, which was luke warm, the other had a cold shower and the other two didn't even take one. Also only one mirror in the bathroom, hard for 4 adults to get ready at the same time. I put my makeup on in the microwave glass door! Which was weird and old. Plus hardly any plug ins. With all the gadgets and extra hairblowers this was not convenient. The breakfast was ok, dried up sausage links and powdered scrambled eggs. The beds were pretty hard as well. The paint was curling up on the bathroom door and could cause and nice scrape on someone's foot if they aren't careful. We didn't call the front desk as we were really in a hurry. Pros: Price ok, very clean.
The stay was great. We have no complaints and the breakfast was very good. The location was good. We were going to an auction sale in Nyssa so this was perfect. I don't know what more I can say. If we need to stay in Ontario again, we will probably stay here.
Very accommodating staff and clean rooms and comfortable beds. It was also off the highway and very quiet. Restaurant very close by and good. Really enjoyed coffee and cookies in lobby area. Pleasant decor.
The King-size bed was comfortable but the fitted sheet did not fit and kept pulling away from the corners. We never did get the HVAC working satisfactorily. Breakfast room closed at 8 am Oregon time so rushed to take breakfast to room for spouse. Good cookies though.
Room is clean and beds just fine. I was not impressed with the complimentary breakfast. The stuff nice but not too friendly. We did not have a reservation because we don't know where exactly we will ended-up for the night. So, I think the price she quote us was more than the Internet price.
I frequently stay at best westerns. I called ahead to confirm they had indoor pool. Stated it was important for our stay. Staff made no mention it would be under maintenance, second day of stay we returned to find the pool drained. What a huge disappointment. This can be easily put in a calendar system. I call a best western in Arizona and they said pool would be under maintenance during our visit in march, so know this is possible. I also called to share it was our anniversary. Mentioned hoe a best western in seattle went out of their way for our anniversary. The hotel did nothing and it was valentine's. Didn't see a single decoration anywhere. Hotel was clean overall, I don't think the maid changed our sheets however. The bathroom was tiny. Breakfast service was nice and the server there was attentive. Had to laugh, they have outdoor lighting directed to the trees, only light also blared directory into room so no way to shut out the light under the curtains. Who thought up that idea. Thanks, could have been better, was safe and uneventful.
I have stayed in wonderful Best Western Hotel, this is not one of them. The room was good. The staff could care less about their accuracy on reservations and taking care of you. The breakfast is only ok. Improve your apple selection, red delicious are not delicious. Serve bacon sometimes!!!
My husband and I had an enjoyable stay at this Best Western in Ontario, OR. We hadn't planned to stay more than one night, but due to unforeseen circumstances, needed to extend our stay. The staff was very cooperative.
The employees are pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. If you have to stay in the area this is a wonderful choice. Close places to eat and easy access to the interstate. My business takes me to the area often and this is the only place I stay.
This hotel is very nice. Very Good Breakfast with a very nice assortment of breakfast foods. The hotel is clean and the snow is generally kept cleaned off. The suit is very comfortable and clean. The bed is very nice. The internet is much much better now with much much better connection and authentication process. It also keeps you logged in for about 4 days so you don't have to authenticate. Still slow sometimes but infrequently. NO EXERCISE ROOM. Corporate Best Western make them take it out. It was small but had an elliptical, treadmill, weight machine and recumbent bike. Just enough equipment for the business travel to use to stay active. It was great the had a water fountain and kept towels in the room. It was very nice. BUT CORPORATE MAKE THEM REMOVE IT. I tried to contact the corporate person that required them to remove it but corporate would not give me his name. Talk about Autocratic rule. Stupid Stupid Stupid.
We had avery nice stay. We have stayed here every year for the last 4 years and have always had very good service. We would recommend this Hotel to all our friends . The location is good right off freeway and the restaurant is very handy for our meals. only thing was the TV was not clear and limited stations
I am a diamond member of Best Western. This particular hotel seems to go out of their way to make sure you do not feel special or welcomed. My latest stay was in the highest traffic area of the hotel, even though most of the hotel was empty (based on the parking lot). The rooms are average, the cleaning service is ok, but if you are stuck on the Ontario, Oregon area, this is better than most of the alternatives. Just remember, staying here doesn't reward you, and I've stayed here for nearly 60 nights this year alone.
Very typical BW. We have come to rely on the standardization of this chain and make it our "go to" option. We were certainly not disappointed with this choice! Thanks to the staff (cleaning people, breakfast people, front desk, everyone) you made our stay a good one.!!!
We always stay here when in the Ontario area. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Plenty of parking even with a trailer. ADA rooms work well with the wheel chair. They have a hot breakfast and are close to other resturants.
No one will go out of their way to help you, even with a handicapped mother. Breakfast was poor, cold and low quality meat. Room is that, not a suite. Rooms need maintenance and upgrades. The bathroom tub did not drain when showering, clogged. The faucet on the sink leaked getting everything on the counter wet.
this is a very nice place to stay, reasonable rates with good amenities, pool and sauna ,exercise room good breakfast selections. good location and helpful friendly staff. nothing more to add except have stayed here numerous time in the last two years.
Very unprofessional staff. Hotel needs remodeling or maintenance, especially with regard to the bathrooms. The staff could barely speak English and we had to repeat everything several times. I will not stay at this hotel again.
Room was fine, nothing fancy, comfortable, clean. Staff were all courteous and helpful. We had them reserve us a room for the next night at the next stop on our trip, Twin Falls, ID Instructions took us right to the door. No more to say.
You always know what to expect when you stay here.Quality accommodations and excellent service.Good food and a good nights sleep. No surprises. Quick on and off the freeway with lots of restaurants close by.
We enjoyed out visit. Everything was very nice. Clean, well maintained and quiet. The beds were very nice. Air conditioning worked great. Loved that it was within walking distance of Walmart, other small shops and fast food. We'll be back!
Aside from the (as usual!) terrible WiFi, this is a conveniently located and reasonably priced property. Our room was comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was as per usual. Front desk service was efficient and friendly.
Very nice overnight stay and the staff had excellent customer service when I called and made the appointment on the phone. Were also very pleasant in person. They got us in last minute and understood our delays checking in considering the fires going on. Loved the fact that their pool is open 24 hours so we could all relax in the hot tub and pool after a long drive. Also helped drain the energy out of the little one who actually learned to swim on his own there at the hotel for the first time. Breakfast was pretty good and the room was very clean. The carpet was a little wet but you could tell they had just been shampooed but it didn't bother us at all cause at least we knew they were taking care of the place. Will stop here again when traveling through!
When we first walked into our room it reaked or stinky cigarette smoke, some much for the no smokeing room, went to front desk she gave me a can of freeze and said sorry. the pool and hot tub were nice and also very clean. The hot breakfast was good but room to sit very small had to wait for table. Old and needs updated to PLUS standard
Room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Included breakfast was standard fare. The location is right off the freeway and is what we've come to expect staying at an older Best Western. Receptionist was helpful and friendly. Used the laundry facilities which were clean and well-maintained.
Greeted by Amber---registration very smooth---breakfast at 6:30AM--- parking all around building---small suite was very nice---TV in living room did not work----TV in bedroom was fine----Wet bar---bar stools--breakfast hot and tasty--- Room smelled fresh---king bed was great.....Indooorpool nice for parents and kids---- would stay there again.....
After staying in 1950 motels for the last 9 days, this place felt like a luxury hotel. Regular rooms sold out so spent $10 more for a suite. Very clean, feels new, lots of room. Typical hot breakfast (sausage was tasty). Didn't use the pool or jacuzzi. Very quite even though it was full. I normally wouldn't spend $110 but had fun doing it.
This is a very very nice hotel. Great Breakfast, clean rooms, Convenient location to the freeway and restaurants. But, and this is a BIG BUT, if you need internet to VPN to your office go somewhere else. The internet here is spotty and frequently it is so slow your can't even retrieve your e-mail. Sometimes you can't even log on to the system. At other times it just disappears and they have to "Reboot" the systems. This takes about 10 minutes. Sometimes they have to "Reboot" several times to get it to function again. There is also no Exercise room here.
The staff was great, my room smelled of cigarette smoke. Like it had been a smoking room in the past. Not too bad, though. Bed was awesome as was the breakfast and the staff was really friendly. I would recommend saying here to anyone.
Booked a room for one night on the way to visit family. Had stayed here previously and on this occasion found things to be pretty much the same as on our last stay. Reasonable value and good location close to the freeway. Breakfast was what you would expect, no complaints. Only problem at all was the internet quit working, otherwise all was OK.
This place is obviously a bit aged and a bit dated. The receptionist was unwelcoming and had a really hard time understanding the our reservations were for two different rooms with each room paying separately. She managed to get our rooms situated not adjacent, but just about as far apart as they could be in this linear hotel. Upon entering our room (#205) a strong chemical, smoky aroma was evident but became unnoticeable after our being in the room for a few minutes. The receptionist told me she would call right back with news of another room, but never did. She did ask if we wanted any room spray. We could not even open our window for ventilation as the screen frame was bent, becoming a perfect portal for insects. The rooms are old. Period. Nice BW amenities, as usual, and the breakfast was very good and served in a spacious room.
Really old hotel - needs updating. Room had loose carpeting, one chair had a broken arm and the toilet seat was loose! Mentioned all of this to the front desk. Wonder how this hotel got a "plus" status...also, no fitness center.
