SureStay Plus by Best Western Mountain View

I just love the staff! They can't do enough to help us. They move us because of smokers below us in the parking lot. They brought us a refrigerator and microwave when we did have one in the room. They have a sauna, pool and gym. A great dining room.

Convenient location; Whole foods, Target, Walmart, Trader Joe's, many restaurants and cafe. Very comfortable to stay with reasonable price. Clean, enogh spaces, free good wifi, excellent hospitality. *They don't have refrigerators in rooms.

Upon arrival late at night, concierge made us feel so welcomed. Wish I remembered his name. Room was clean and comfy beds, very quiet. Plenty of free parking as well. Only $50 reimbursable deposit. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very comfortable rooms and bed. The staff was great and very helpful. We needed a blanket and they got it for us. We have stayed there before twice and will stay there again! Good variety of food in the morning!

Very comfortable hotel good value for the price ! Plush beds ,towels are fluffy. Amazing water pressure .Rooms are clean and updated .This location has a pool, a fitness room and a sauna, which was really nice added bonus after a long day ! complementary breakfast , and staff was amazing. Every time I went into the lobby. Everyone was really friendly and they were attentive. I stayed for five days for work. I traveled solo , female. I felt very safe at this hotel . I've been trying different hotels around the area. So far this is the best for a reasonable price with a good location to work and best of all best western gives points for your stay. I will definitely be back.

Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else the room was filthy, dirty with grease stains all over the carpet. The walls had greasy handprints on them. They were 110 outlet plugs hanging by their wires from the wall disconnected leaving live electricity wires out in a room where I had my children, the shower had mold all around it and one brought to the attention of the hotel staff no one seem to care how do I not have had a early morning Stanford hospital procedure from my daughter I would've ran from this hotel and went anywhere else but since it was late and my daughter was already stressed out about her procedure I took her favorite. Blankey laid it over her because she had to sleep on top of the covers in the room because the bed was so dirty. Very very disappointed with this hotel and the fact that it's associated with Best Western.

SureStay provides the best value for lodging in the general vicinity. They provide a good breakfast, coffee all the time, and a comfortable room for a good price. Its location provides access to the large hospital nearby when visiting the medical facilities. There are plenty of food choices near the motel. The staff responds to your needs in a timely fashion.

The hotel is cozy and clean. They serve a great variety of hot & cold breakfast, coffee, juice, tea and water. Our guest room was clean and functioning. WiFi is fast. The hotel staff: Samir the hotel manager, Hilda & Ruby the front desk staff, and the housekeeping staff - all gave excellent customer service, friendly, welcoming, courteous and polite.

The room was old and dingy, it smelled very stale. The shower curtain did not reach the tub causing water to get all over the floor. There was a large lump under the carpet. Parking is very tight, not enough for all guests

Nestled between businesses along El Camino Real, is a quiet sprawling property with lovely amenities for one to use while staying at the hotel. There's a pool that I didn't use, but was available. I'm not sure if hot tub was-it was too cold to check outside. But it's a clean quiet property with lovely people managing it.

I had an incredible experience staying at SureStay Plus of Best Western in Mountain View. Manager Samir was a fantastic asset to the hotel, always ready and willing to help with whatever we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was peaceful and tranquil. I was able to take long, hot showers with hot water coming out of both the tub and sink right away. The breakfast was amazing, with so much variety - from fruits, eggs, meats, breads and more. We had access to speedy internet and a TV with a great selection of channels. The staff were friendly and helpful with all our needs. I was extremely pleased with my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fair and honest service experience.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for business. The hotel is clean, simple, down to earth staff with excellent customer service, good WiFi, serves a great variety of hot & cold breakfast, and has a small gym. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and Target.

Quiet room with comfy bed that you don't want to leave. Hot water right away in tub and sink. Breakfast is enough for lunch too with fruits, eggs, meats, breads. Internet fast and tv provides ample channels. Staff nice and helpful ...love those look

This is an old hotel that is desperately in need of remodeling. No microwave, no chest of drawers, electric outlet is inaccessible to the coffee maker, limited access to the lobby during early morning hours. Not up to BW standards. One should only stay here if it is the only room available in the area.

My original review of our stay September 27, 2022 was written honestly. Immediately I was contacted by management and apologies and amends were made. I really appreciated the MANY follow-ups to my concerns. I use Trip Advisor reviews when I book hotels and because my first review was only negative I wanted to share that the staff and management's customer service should be considered. Thank you to manager Samir for caring!

We really appreciated the ADA room's handrails and shower chair. The beds were comfortable and thankfully plenty of them. Staff was also very accommodating when we needed to stay one more night. Thank you all.

Booked this place due to price and hot tub. Hot tub was closed, which was a big disappointment. Stayed for 3 nights, told them I did not need the room serviced the first morning there, because we arrived late previous night and did not use anything in room. Second morning I wanted service. Came back that evening and room had not been serviced. Front desk gentleman was very nice.

Do not stay at this property. You will be so disappointed and it is not representative of Best Western. The room was not clean (thick dust on the headboard), refrigerator was in the middle of the room upon arrival and never worked when plugged in, paint peeled off the walls and the door knob to the bathroom fell off.

My husband and I stayed at SureStay Plus of Best Western in Mountain View. The hotel staff is down to earth. The hotel manager, Samir and his front desk staff: Jose & Hilda were all welcoming, friendly, professional, gave excellent customer service and made our check-in a breeze. The hotel is simple, clean, comfortable bed, ample parking, great variety for breakfast, small gym, pool, and business center.

My wife and I have been staying regularly at BW SureStay Plus Mountain View whenever we are in town. There are several reasons that we consistently choose this underrated and unassuming place over many other hotels dotted along El Camino Real, which is arguably Silicon Valley's most commercially vibrant and culturally diverse thoroughfare, one that connects San Jose with San Francisco. For starter, the hotel's location is excellent, with Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Safeway, Target, Kohl's, Walmart, Starbucks and F&B outlets all located within 5-10 minutes of walking distance. Nestled behind the hotel, just two minutes away, is a neighborhood park with playground and picnic tables. Besides its convenient location, the hotel is also well-organized and neat, with housekeeping staff constantly at work to keep the place clean and orderly. The service level of the hotel staff, under the leadership of its highly experienced GM, Samir Bentaieb, is fast and responsive. Seldom do we have to wait more than a few minutes before getting a response from the hotel management. Finally, the hotel offers a wide selection of hot and cold breakfast daily, with eggs, sausages and bread, as well as pancakes, fruits and yogurts, to satisfy even the most demanding houseguest. Of course, let's not forget about the hotel's free coffee, tea, milk and juice for those who like to stay hydrated. All in all, my wife and I could not have been more pleased with our accommodation experience at BW SureStay Plus Mountain View. We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends should they ever pass through this part of Silicon Valley.

We stayed overnight to attend a football game at Stanford University. It was in a great location to get to the game and if you go to a concert near by .The bed was comfortable for a 1 to 2 nights. The beds are updated and most of the upstairs room are as well. No elevators so I was told most people prefer downstairs and those get booked first. For the price and the event we traveled for, I would definitely use this place again

The hotel I perfect placed in Silikon Valley. The pool area is nice, The hotel director helps us to know the area, and maced a good tay, Samir. A lot of markeds and restaurants near by. 15 minute walk to the train station.

I booked this Best Western because it was close the Shoreline Amphitheatre & we're coming from a long distance away ( me from North of SF & her from east of Sacramento). My friend & I were attending a concert there. We checked in before the concert. The clerk was very friendly & helpful. He even let us split the charges between our 2 credit cards. After returning to our room, after a fabulous concert, we really appreciate the cleanliness of our room and how super comfortable the beds were! I Will most definitely stay there again the next time I go to any event in the area!

From the 1st moment I walked into the lobby I knew this hotel was quite a few cuts above the other places I stayed in Mountain View! Samir the GM came right over to me and introduced himself right away. Asked me a few questions and immediately gave me the deal needed to be able to book a room for the 5 weeks I'll be staying here. My company booked it at once! The front desk Staff, Trina & Samatha, made me feel right at home! Truly fantastic team at Mountain View Inn!

I wasn't expecting much when I booked this hotel but the reviews are what got me to book. So here I am giving you my review. I had a girls weekend and we booked a 2 queen bedroom. The staff were so friendly when I called with questions and when we greeted them. The parking was free which is a steal. The bedroom was clean and comfy. For breakfast, they had high end technology like Starbucks coffee machine and a pancake maker. Everything felt very updated. Their gym is really small but it's great for some cardio. They even had small towels for you in there. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool but if I come back, I would like to see how I'd like it. You can tell they're still remodeling some areas of the hotel but the new changes they've made are great. Book if you're looking to stay in the area!

We stayed July 3 & 4.. Front desk SAMANTHA was great; she should manage a hotel; she was the best staff member. King bed room was surprisingly large; almost a mini suite. Microwave and fridge. great air//heat. HUge flat screen. minuses? they bitched when we ran a tub bath. (nice big tub;; guess they could hear in office downstairs;;;;;;; no sign or notice anywhere. the WORST TOWELS EVER!!! thin, non absorbent; rough scratchy. REALLY gd full breakfast; eggs,, sausage patties, bagels,, pancakes,,juices, etc..

I stay here for 10 days and found the location to be very central, whole food is 2 blocks away and lot of restaurants close by, the staff is amazing as well especially Samir, the General Manager, very hands on and get things done. Very thankful! Also, quite safe neighborhood as well and great lobby with good Wi-Fi and breakfast.

This is the hotel I chose everytime I am in Mountain view. This is my most favorite place to stay in Mountain View. I live the staff there especially Trinia. Their complimentary breakfast is wonderful. Starbucks brand coffee and coco. Also fresh pancake maker. The housekeeping are great and they have room service every Saturday and Tuesday in case you stay longer. Great area to be at. Walmart is around tge corner. Bus route across the street.

Good location. Good value and nice dining room. Friendly staff and spotty wifi. You get what you what you pay for but clean room microwave and mini fridge. Close to stores and freeways are easily accessible. You can also walk to train, busses or stores.

Clean, welcoming, well cared for property for a very good price! Comfy pillows and beds and not-too-loud air conditioning unit. Staff was kind and helpful. Starbuck's beverage machine (with chai!) was a delightful surprise!

Rent rooms with clean, Not stained carpet. Make sure toilet is completely fastened to the floor. Make sure tub is clean as well as the shower curtains. Put plastic trash bags in the trash cans. Offer to take my trash to the dumpster rather than telling me it's OK that I put my trash in the dumpster. Provide more than one roll of toilet paper.

This hotel staff definitely needs training on how to deal with guests One of the reception staff came out asking me to park some where else while I was parked with valid placard Seems like he was judging me on basis of the way I look or dressed He was yelling at me. I had booked 2 rooms for 4 hours as it was conveniently located to wedding venue. Your staff just spoiled my mood for no reason

My wife and I attended the services for a family member that passed away. We reside far away from the San Francisco Peninsula and needed accommodations for two days. I found the Mountain View Inn to be centrally located to suit our needs. Initially, when booking our reservation over the phone with Muhamad, I was impressed by his cordiality and his professionalism that expressed a sincere appreciation that we made the Mountain View Inn our choice. When we arrived we were greeted with the same cordiality and professionalism that I experienced over the phone. The entire staff that I met were dedicated to hospitality. My wife and I like the Best Western because of the complimentary breakfasts. The Covid did not stop The Mountain View Inn. We were offered a grab and go that was sufficient to get us on our way. The StarBucks coffee machine was a treat. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable, the television channel selection is better than most. One of the best bestwesterrn's I jhave ever stayed at! Mohamed is a wonderful host. No hot breakfast but I am sure its because of COVID. Towels where very thin kinda cheap. Great bed and pillows!!!!!!

nice hot breakfast nicer staff nice rooms cant wait to see it after remodel friendly enivironment lots of charm and history to tyhis place they were willing to acomadate usw last minute as well. we will be back

I really do not like giving negative reviews, but this place deserves it. We're talking about a 1960s-era motel, run down and poorly maintained. Grounds are littered with cigarette butts, which does not create a positive first impression. I like a place with a retro, mid-century vibe as long as it's been kept up and well maintained. Unfortunately, the place hasn't been. The door of my room wasn't even hung properly -- see photo for the gap at the top. The only reason I stayed here was the price. Next time, I'll pay more or stay home. Most of the other buildings on this stretch of El Camino Real are empty and have chain-link fences around them, as if they're about to be torn down. I would guess this motel will be next in line.

My daughter and I loved it. We had a room with a kitchenette. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Perfect place to stay if you are going to a concert at Shoreline. Lady at the front desk was very nice and breakfast at the pool was perfect.

The room was shabby, and dirty. Several things didn't work like light switches and outlets. When we tried to check out at 6:45 in the morning the office was locked delaying our check-out. I wouldn't stay there again.

We stayed one night visiting our son who lived in the town. They had comfortable beds clean rooms and a decent breakfast. Liked the bananas. They had coffee in the lobby that was hotter than the one in the breakfast room. It was quiet . Recommend Castro street with all its restaurants for dinner not far away. I got a good deal on Hotwire. Nothing fancy but worked for our one night.
