Je m’inscris I have had several visits to Seasons restaurant at Best Western Plus University Inn in Moscow, ID with my most recent on 9/21/24. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent and the lemon drop martinis will keep me coming back every time I am in town. I had a "senior moment" and left my credit card after paying my bill. I called the hotel upon discovering my goof up, and was treated so very kindly. The staff made sure I had my card via FedEx and went above and beyond to ensure I had tracking info for my card. A huge thank you to Erin for taking such great care of me!!!!
We stayed here years ago; they have kept up, with extra amenities such as TWO suitcase folding stands, rubber bath mat, and a grab bar in the tub shower. Real silverware in the breakfast room saves disposables! And breakfast included real oatmeal, eggs, bacon, fruit, and decaf coffee. Happy Hour was a great deal with one free glass wine for each. Then we ate in the restaurant on a weekend night, and the prime rib was perfect. Staff at every level and location (front desk, breakfast room, bar, restaurant) were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. We did recommend that Best Western add Level 2 EV car chargers in the parking lot; you'll find one seven blocks away on the UofI campus at the Natural Sciences building.
Average stay as far as breakfast and being in a good location but the shower did not have hot water which was disappointing. Without a reasonably hot morning shower this is not the best way to start off a morning nor with price paid I would question the value of this property
Decent hotel except for the lack of house keeping. Our alumni group did not receive any house keeping during our stay. We were promised cleaning on the third day and staff tried to say it was a mistake for multiple rooms and blame privacy signs. It took multiple calls and 30 minute wait to receive clean towels before an evening reception. Please be honest with guest.
Stayed the night after a concert at the U of I. Front desk extremely nice and helpful. Greeted me very well. Came with a Service Dog. Offered a treat for him, directly to me without eye contact with my dog. That was amazing. Most people greet the dog, even with a vest. They explained all the services within the hotels, times, where everything was etc. That there were shuttles to the concert. She did explain that the Dome was just out of walking distance. Glad she said that as concert went to almost midnight. Room was amazing. I requested ground floor, again because of my SD. Room had a King bed. Extremely clean. I even checked the tops of the wall hangings. Personal notes from housekeeping. Phone, charging pad for cell. Enough USB ports around room. Plenty of coffee and team for the Krups. Bathroom sparkled. Linens bright white and smelled wonderful. Nice and thick. I slept better there than in my own bed. Carpet was very clean. Didn't care if I forgot my flips and walked on it. They have a dog park area for your pets. I highly recommend this location. This will be my go-to location for any other travels to the Moskow area.
We thought this would be the perfect hotel to stay because it is conveniently located across the street from U of I. Well being from Alaska I am used to high prices especially for Hotels. BUT price gouging 4x the normal rate the week of students moving in is a horrible thing to do when Parents. We just want to spend time with our kids before they are off to College and living in Alaska we are not able to visit very often and she isn't able to come home often because of the expensive flights. I just know I will Never stay here again and I will Never stay at another BW
WSU orientation- 7 min or so drive. So quick and easy. Staff was great! Chocolate chip cookies were the icing on the cake!
Rooms were clean and QUIET. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Staff is very friendly. Pool/hot tub was clean and enjoyable.
Best Western Plus University is a hidden gem..It looks dated but you will be blown away by the cleanliness and customer service ecperience. It is a very clean hotel all around. i stayed there for 12 nights. Everything was impressive. Front desks rep Sarah and the team was excellent. They were very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. Having complimentary Shuttle was a plus..Kyle Chris and Cynthia is an A Team. The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. The bathroom was adequately stocked. The breakfast buffet had a great selection and was soo much to choose from. The onsite restaurant Seasons was also impressive. The team was very efficient and the wait time was less than 20 minutes. Also great ptice for the dishes I tried.
Staff - far exceeded expectations, they were superb! Room - not at all worth the $ Safety/security- none
Clean rooms. Friendly, very helpful staff. Excellent restaurant. Always stay here with my dog during vet visits at WSU.
A solid place to stay near the University. Needs some updating. Cost is a little high for the area. Great restaurant
Great service with the pool being clean and neat, every worker I spoke with was polite and friendly, really great job!
The facility was clean and the staff was great. The cost was a fairly expensive with different rates for each night, which I found a little annoying. However, I knew the rates in advance and the price was probably fair considering the range and quality of amenities.
Great night's stay- quiet, clean and comfortable. The king bed was soft, and the temperature was easily controlled. The bathroom was a bit weird becuase the door swung in instead of out- and that made it kind of tight for two people getting ready. Although, it was super clean!
You would be heard to find a better place to stay. Breakfast is better than anyplace else!!!! Hard to imagine a place this good is in Moscow ID. I work at WSU, UofI Pullman Airport and several hospitals around the Pullman Moscow Area. I always stay at the BW Moscow. I will drive up from Lewiston, Clarkston to stay there.
the place is wounderfull. go to the restaurant food is great the room s are very nice the service was wounderfull. breakfast was very nice the place is very wounderfukk the pool was very nice the service was also great
When checking in, my niece was asked the purpose of her stay. She explained that her father was dying and her aunt (me) had rented the room so all the kids could go swimming and they could take a break from caregiving. The front desk upgrade the room at no additional cost and made sure everyone had a wonderful time. So meaningful for my family at this difficult time.
We have a family of five and the suite had more then enough space to accommodate us for our stay. The staff was kind and friendly and the breakfast buffet was stocked with fresh food all morning. Our three children had a blast at the pool as well. Thank you!!!!
This hotel, just across from the great University of Idaho, is, in my view, outstanding. It is clean, professional, courteous, welcoming, hospitable and, simply put, very professional in all they do. The shuttle service is amazing, the front office people are welcoming, the restaurant is mind-blowing in terms of the variety of food and beverages provided, the rooms are spacious, clean and well-equipped. While I didn't visit the bar, I could see several guests having a truly wonderful time. Other guests were enjoying a fantastic time in the water. This place is just the "Best"!
I travel here for work twice a year and I love staying at BW University Inn! The staff is always accommodating, the breakfast is such a blessing each morning (staff is attentive and clears your plate quickly, asking if they can assist you in any way), and the Season's staff - especially Linda and Becky - are AMAZING. Always a highlight of my trip!!
We loved the Best Western University Inn. We used the pool, the restaurant, and enjoyed the staff. Our room was just what we needed. The hotel was close to other amenities including a grocery story and the lobby is so cozy!
Great place to stay when in Moscow, close to campus, grocery store, and restaurants. Hotel shuttle from and to airport is helpful. Would love additional transportation to campus, football stadium on game days and even downtown Moscow too. Otherwise our stay at the hotel was great.
To be fair, I haven't stayed anywhere else. When it comes to hotels I'm a big believer in...when you've found a winner, why venture anyplace else. I seriously doubt any others would compare, that is, win over UIBW. We have stayed here, on occasion, for years. The pool facilities are outstanding wiith several rooms located just off it. We like the large, spacious suite on the opposite end of the hotel, near the elevator. The free breakfast is a full spead of favorites. I figure the value of tha alone is $40 per couple, at least. The front desk and housekeeping staff are exceptional. The usually excellent restaurant closed an hour early just as we arrived, so that was a disappointment. But it was Thanksgiving eve so we'll cut 'em some slack. Still, it rendered the free drink coupons useless. So, look, this BW is one of the best in the chain, plain and simple. We'll go back, as often as possible.
For a $300+ per night stay, I expect to have hot water. Instead, we all took cold showers. Additionally, the TV in the room was damaged and had these white blobs across it. The breakfast was a good value.
Stayed at the hotel for a conference and staff exceeded my expectations. Hotel was clean and maintained well. The gas line to the town was damaged and caused quite a few obstacles for the staff, but they immediately jumped into action to secure portable showers, contact guests and improvised to keep as many amenities functioning as possible. I would stay again and would recommend.
I booked the lodging because it was the headquarters of my sorority centennial. I paid over $800, which the booking agent justified because it was Homecoming weekend. I found out when I checked in that it was not homecoming weekend, but that is what bookers are told to say when questioned about the price. I got no maid service. I had to request clean towels that were hung on my door. The towels could have been taken by anybody in the four hours I was gone between the request and when I got back to the lodging. The restaurant closed early on Saturday night. The shuttle service was not available at all after nine in the evening. My main gripe is that I paid Waldorf-Astoria prices for a Motel 6 with better bedding lodging. I feel a fair price would have been $150-200 for a "homecoming weekend". Others got a better rate, but it was not offered to me.
Great room that had a comfy bed that was very quiet. This is a large hotel so check in and see where your room is. Ours was on the back corner so a lot closer to unload in the back and take elevator there. Great service at front desk and at breakfast. We normally don't eat the free breakfast but this one was so good we did. Also got tasty free cookies at check in and couple free beers in their bar.
Best Western Moscow was nicer than I anticipated. Large indoor pool and spa, workout room. The dinner and hot breakfast were great. The room was large clean and had a microwave and fridge which was nice. Would stay again. They also set up the golf which was fun and an easy way to play.
Best breakfast at any hotel I have ever been to. Bacon, eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, yogurt, breakfast burritos, sausage, potatoes O'Brien, and much more! Very clean rooms and cookies at front desk!
Very clean and nice room. Check In went well and easy. Business trip for my husband but I was able to use the pool and exercise room. The hot tub needs jets and to be heated more but the pool was very clean and enjoyable I would definitely stay here again
Our stay was short but everything you need to know a good property from a bad one usually happens in the first day. Reservations: less complicated and easier than in the past. Front Desk: cheerful, professional and personal. Also, really good complimentary cookies! Property: Clean inside and out, comfortable spacious lobby. Guest room: Modern, tasteful, clean, well maintained, small refrigerator and comfortable bed. Food: Better than average free breakfast, plenty of choices, firm eggs, good pastries. Shuttle Service: College age driver was amazing. Very polite and professional. He did not interrupt us and let us ride peace until we asked him for some info and he gave excellent suggestions for local sightseeing, area history, food and was just plain friendly. Overall the stay exceeded our expectations by a significant margin and we will not hesitate to stay as one of our children will begin attending ISU.
Stayed here because Pullman hotels were full. Had pet at WSU vet hospital. Drive was convenient. Hotel had everything we needed, included good restaurant. Right next door to strip shopping center and gas station so anything we needed was within walking distance. We will stay here again. Adjacent areas for dog walking was a bonus.
Everything was clean, breakfast was so good and the staff was very friendly. I have extreme OCD and hotel stays are extremely hard for me. This place made it very easy for me. I had no issues. We will definitely stay here again.
This is a huge hotel complex but impeccably clean and very well run. We loved being able to park our motorcycles under the front covering where they were safe and out of the way. There were multiple staff working the front desk as many others were arriving at the same time. Fast check in and we received complimentary drinks at the lounge as Platinum members. We decided to try the in-house restaurant which was very busy and we were not disappointed. We retired to our room after experiencing great service and well prepared food. I should mention we enjoyed a nice soak in the large indoor hot tub while others were swimming in the huge indoor pool. All that and it was very reasonably priced means we will be sure to stop in anytime we are in the area.
Hot tub and sauna were not working and finding out at check in was very disappointing. Hotel needs better communication with its customers, at a minimum updating hotel website when things are not operational would have been nice.
I Highly recommended this Best Wester, beautiful hotel, with awesome staff, amazing location, fabulous food. The food selection was beyond amazing. Lots of space to move with wide hallways and gorgeous relaxing areas.
The bed was a bit hard. The frig was down so low i could barely reach it. that's the only bad... the breakfast was great, and i love the breakfast area! They used real utensils which i appreciate as the plastic ones usually break. The staff in the restaurant was outstanding. very attentive. the pool was great. Plenty of parking.
No one ever leaves comments on a good experience unless it's exceptional. I would say my stay here was just that. The bar has the best food in town and the breakfast is great. The rooms are very clean and up to date.
Another outstanding Apple Cup weekend in the books!!! THANK You to the staff at Best Western Plus University Inn for our stay!! Everything during our stay was Fabe-ulous!! We will see you in 2 years!! GO DAWGS!!
Great hotel, excellent staff from front desk to Seasons to breakfast buffet staff - all well trained and efficient and effective at their work. Reasonable rates and reasonable meal/drink prices make this location a must.
Although undergoing renovations, room was quiet. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Restaurant menu had varied selections. 2 meals I got were excellent. Had my dog in the area for vet visit. Appreciate the availability of amenities for pets.
I booked this room with my rewards, apparently at a reduced great deal of $445.00 for two nights. I was reminded it was a reduced rate room by the clerk when I checked in. As I looked for the room after entering at the back of the hotel, I thought surely I was on the wrong floor as there was furniture strewn about the hallway and I passed by an open gutted room. But no, correct floor. My reduced rate reward member room, 172, is situated in a tight corner, right across from the boiler room. It comes complete with a dorm room vibe of brick wall, exposed wires, what looks like a peeping Tom computer board square box mounted in a corner wall, and an absolutely filthy floor and carpet. A bonus for the price of the room is a complete lack of customer service as no one will answer at the front desk. It's creepy down here. I guess it is nearly Halloween. In all honesty, I'm trying to figure out who I pissed off for such a costly deal that I must endure one more night. Rest assured Best Western, I will be tossing my reward card in the trash and staying at any other hotel than yours in the future. Done deal. I'd say “sweet dreams” fellow travelers, but that is not the case at this hotel.
This is an old, very overpriced hotel. I would be embarrassed to charge what they do. for the price they charge you expect a very nice hotel and you get a hotel that needs to be retired, or remodeled. In 1950 this may have been a nice hotel and would be ok today if they were charging 25% of what they do today
We stayed 3 nights at the Best Western Plus University Inn while attending the first annual Moscow Comedy Festival. The hotel is close by to all of the venues, restaurants, and the college campus. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly. We look forward to next years comedy festival and lodging at Best Western Plus University Inn!
Great place to stay with ample parking. Breakfast was top notch for a BW. The front desk agent helped me to get a room when I thought I already had a reservation. She was very helpful. Rooms are large and comfortable. Would stay here any time I'm in the area.
We have been staying at HoLiday Inns for years, we have a dog we travel with, they allow dogs. Best Western Plus also allow dogs, and this facility is a step up from Best Western. We found the staff here very helpful and friendly! our room was a little on the small side, but it was clean and comfortable, including the bed. We also used their laundry facility, total cost for 1 load was $2.00 + .50 for the dryer. They gave us free drink coupons for their nice bar/restaurant area. We did go there for drinks and had the lettuce wrap appetizers which were very good! Best Western University, goes above and beyond with their breakfasts, way beyond what alot of the other major brands do for breakfast. Mainly we enjoy the fact that they had a restaurant right on site at their facility! We will be happily switching to best western plus for our upcoming travels!
Everyone was friendly and the hotel is very clean. Close to Gritman Hospital. Price was spendy due to Rush week. Easy access to where I needed to be. Very welcoming when first entering. Close to shopping.
I reserved some rooms for out of town family members as we gathered for a family reunion. From the person who set up the reservations to the staff during our stay, everyone was friendly and helpful. The rate we received was very good. The complimentary breakfast had a wonderful assortment of things to eat. I might have eaten my bacon quota for a year.
Everything was amazing, staff was very helpful. The room was clean and very well set up. Breakfast was good and drinks in seasons were strong but very yummy! I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family
The room was clean and comfortable. Ours opened right onto the indoor pool which was fantastic with teens. My partner tosses and turns all night but with the pillow top mattress, I didn't even notice. The hotel restaurant had great food and drink options. The breakfast was quite a spread. There was no problem taking food back to the room for the teens who wanted dinner after pool time and didn't want to be rousted from bed in time to join us.
Stay here often for business travel. Great older hotel, bar and restaurant is excellent as is the free breakfast. Prices for dinner are up ( but what isn't?) but still a good value all in. Recommended.
This was one of the best hotels i have EVER stayed at, and I have traveled all over the world. It is clean, the best are amazingly comfortable, the night time noise was nil that I could hear... The breakfast is a FULL many item breakfast. The workers from the front desk to the kitchen and restaurant were friendly and helpful. The grounds and pool look great but we didn't have time to use them. This hotel makes it hard to get an airbnb for longer stays because it was THAT nice. Will be back!
Stayed July 7th-July 10. Had made reservations months in advance to make sure we were able to get a room for a dog if needed and by the pool. Originally, reservations were July 8th-July 10th. About a week before arriving-I called to let them know we would need the other days. No problem, same price. I said let me call you back to confirm with others sharing the room. I called back a couple hours later-and the person I had spoke with-totally canceled my reservation. It was strange. They rescheduled my reservations-same cost. So that was a good thing. The day we were to arrive-6 hours before arriving, I let them know we wouldn't have a dog, but would like to be by the pool. We arrived-no pool. I was not told if we had a dog-no pool rooms-so I thought pool room, right? A person staying in another room-checked in before me a few hours earlier. They asked her if she would like by the pool. She said yes. No pool room for me from months ago before arriving. The front desk says we do housekeeping every 3 days. When we arrived in our room-there was an envelope that said-thank you for your tip for the housekeepers. We were only there for 3 days. So no housekeeping. 3 people in the room for 3 days-3 towels, 3 washcloths and 3 hand towels. They were happy to bring us towels as needed-so that was a plus considering what we were originally given would last for 1 day. When we arrived there was dried liquid on the entry floor. Not sure if just a drink spill, but seemed more like dog urine. But who really knows. They came right away and cleaned it up. A plus. I noticed one of the light bulbs was burned up. So I asked them to please change to one that works. They did. In another room-where one of my family members stayed, her bath tub wouldn't drain-and so they did fix it-but it was an inconvenience-as it couldn't be fixed right away-so a shower in a tub half filled with water. And no bath for a 6 year old. I have stayed at this hotel many times-I love it, it is convenient, nice restaurant, pool (although we didn't use this time-used the Moscow Pool as it has more fun things for the kids and not too expensive for the day-plus food there). The beds were nice-the room other than the floor was nice-and the staff very nice-so I appreciate that. The last thing as we were leaving-I wanted to add a little bit of ice to a small cooler. I went to the ice machine with my bucket-no ice at 11AM on a Sunday. There was a note that said, please go to front desk for cooler ice. So I did-I didn't have an ice bucket so-the front desk staff was able to put a bit of ice into a large disposable plastic bag. So it did work out. I know this is hard times re having enough staff-and I can appreciate that-but for the price-it needs some improvements-including some upgrades. They still have yummy free chocolate chip cookies-love the aroma when you walk into the lobby!
Our stay at the University Inn was very enjoyable. Hotel is very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Full breakfast selection was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Moscow. Very convenient to shopping, restaurants and of course the University
Spending two weeks in lovely Moscow Idaho, the great surprise was the wonderful experience at the best western Plus. Specifically, the complimentary breakfast that was made all the better by the attentive and wait staff led by Jodi who made sure your every need was met. I can't wait to come back again.
The staff members at this hotel are friendly and ultra “accommodating.” My group appreciated help with our luggage to and from our room. We got extra towels on request. We received great help in an emergency. The breakfast spread had great variety. Food elsewhere was excellent as well. Overall experience could not have been better.
Although we stayed only 4 nights, we enjoyed every moment. Our accommodations (executive suite) were perfect for our needs. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. This will be our place to stay whenever we come to Moscow!
We traveled up with our full size Goldendoodle and met our two sons and their families. Breakfast, swimming, dinner in the hotel restaurant...all was excellent. The guest rooms were surprisingly quiet and plenty of space. Everthing was clean and well maintained. The beds were the most comfortable we have experienced away from home, we slept so well. The whole experience was wonderful! Great service, great complimentary breakfast options, pet friendly, super clean and comfortable.
My 84 year old father stayed at BW in Moscow, Idaho last week. He called and reserved the rooms 5 days before his trip. When he called, they did not inform him of the cancelation policy. He inadvertently reserved rooms for 2 nights instead of 1. When he requested to have one of the nights refunded they said, "Sorry, you have to cancel 30 days in advance." Really? The Best Western Company policy is 24 hours before, however, there is a clause that says each Best Western can set their own policy, so this falls on the manager and owners of this particular franchise. He scheduled 5 days before. How can he cancel 30 days before? So... watch the fine print. I feel that they are taking advantage of every patron not just an elderly man on a fixed income, which I find despicable.
We stayed April 7-10, 2022 for an enjoyable spring break with our daughter and grandson. On our first night we checked in on a Thursday evening and the staff informed us they inadvertently over charged us for two rooms instead of one. The refund took over three days to process. The pool was okay we did find globs of hair I don't think the pool skimmer wasn't working well. The hot tub jets were out of order. The hotel said due to some special weekend they had to charge the card early but don't charge twice and take days to refund. The bonus was they have friendly staff.
It is an old hotel in a college town that is in need of an overhaul. The toilets are outdated. The rooms need thermostats for heat and air conditioning. They had four people quit that morning that make up the rooms. They need to pay their help so they stick around.
We have stayed at multiple Pullman-Moscow hotels as parents of multiple WSU students and season football ticket holders. We were here for our daughter's graduation. First time here and we really enjoyed it. Excellent, friendly service. Maybe the best hotel provided breakfast I have ever had. Room was nice. Hotel is older but very nice. Excellent location across the street from a Winco Grocery Store and shopping mall including Target and Starbuck's. Bed comfortable! We would gladly stay here again.
Paid $900 due to demand of hotels in the area. Tub and sink backed up and had to be repaired during the first night. Room never serviced or cleaned even once over 3 nights. Only positive was that the staff was friendly.
We were warmly greeted on arrival. It was the WSU graduation weekend and staff not only seemed relaxed - they were kindly trying to help a family that needed a room for the night by calling local hotels. The hotel has that FLW Prairie feel. The rooms are updated and spacious. The air conditioners are older and noisy, but you can open the windows. Our room had a king bed, lounge chair and a great workspace. Good amenities, they were cleaning every 3 nights, but were always available for anything we needed. We were very happy. We ordered room service on arrival and it was very good. The Seasons restaurant within the hotel is popular with locals and had a nice "vibe". The free breakfast is among the best of the chain hotels, with lots of selection and a french roast that is far better than coffee at these places. The round tables were great for groups. Breakfast staff was super friendly and efficient. The indoor pool and spa were surprisingly large - so bring a bathing suit. The gym was small but well kept. It is a big sprawling hotel, so if mobility or a lot of luggage is an issue perhaps park, go inside and check in, then park closer to the doors near your room. Would I return? If I was working in Moscow, visiting with family, needed space to work, and had a car - it is the obvious spot.
Updated rooms that were clean and nice. Had a great free breakfast and a nice restaurant in hotel. Staff was nice and helpful. Price was expensive due to graduation at WSU. Easy access to both WSU Pullman and University of Idaho
We stayed in a room that overlooked into the pool room which made our room reek of chlorine and was so loud we had to avoid staying in our room because it was so loud all the time. The breakfast was cold.
This hotel was the quietest hotel we've ever stayed at! The brick walls really keep the noise down. We loved it! Our room was nice and clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of options.
I give this 2 stars because the staff is super nice. Otherwise it gets 2 because of all the mildew and cracking paint and lack of a fan in the bathroom - and lopsided and uncomfortable beds. They more than DOUBLED the price for family weekend - which I understand if the rooms were worth that - but they are not. The beds are so lopsided that you literally have to fight to stay on them. Put two of us in a queen and it was…comical and did not create good sleep. You can't paint over mildew - which they did - you have to eliminate it and then add a fan - which they didn't. It's a mildew haven. Very disappointed.
This is always my hotel of choice when visiting my daughter in college. They are a safe, pet friendly hotel with clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, clean pool & jacuzzi, and they are located with easy access to shopping and dining. I had the pleasure of having the GM, Mike O'Brien, assist me with some questions I had regarding their rewards program. He was very personable, kind, and helpful. Best Western is fortunate to have him on their management team and I am glad to have met him.
Right across the street from the U of I campus with a pool & hot tub, free amazing breakfast and a wonderful staff. We rented bicycles from the front desk and rode to Pullman and had a lovely stay. Highly recommended!
They had great bacon and potatoes. Best hot cocoa ever! They also have breads, waffle maker, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, juices. Staff worked hard to keep up with a full weekend
Great staff, friendly and helpful. Great bar specials. Great pool area. Will definitely stay there next time I'm in the area. The kids loved the pool area. The adults loved the bar specials. The location was perfect to the University where out gymnastics meet was.
Our stay was really nice- the kids loved the pool and hot tub, the breakfast was full of variety, and the beds were comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay and would come again! The location can't be beat - right by U of I!
The food and people were amazing. The fitness center was great and a lot of fun. As well as the pool and hot tub. Sauna was down when I went but that's alright. I got a great night's sleep and the internet never went out.
Clean room, friendly staff, and ask about the packages. We stayed while there were several kids events, but our past stays were pretty close to the same. NOTE: the poolside suites are very nice, but VERY noisy (we were warned and still think it was worth it, but we were not prepared for the extreme loudness). The convenience of having the pool next to our room was worth it, but until 10:00 PM, when busy, you will not be able to carry a normal conversation in your room and the television will have to be turned all the way up to hear it. Second note: The parents of the children will move their tables to outside your window and over speak their children. Also note; when the pool opens, you will be awakened, if you are trying to sleep in.
Moscow, being a small college town, has very few accommodations and those few establishments can charge an exorbitant of money especially during events. The Best Western is no exception. It is a dated property with a great location nearest to the Kibby Dome. The included breakfast is above average with options that include malted waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and bacon, tortillas, salsa and sour cream. They have your regular breakfast fare too. With my son going to college in Moscow, I have become a bit of a regular at the hotel. Some rooms are better than others. My most recent room was not up to par. The king size bed was the equivalent of sleeping on lumpy rolled up towels with visible dips and hills. The heating/cooling system had to be manually adjusted every 2 hours going from temperatures matching the surface of the sun and then winter in the Antarctic. Some of the walk outlets were inoperable. I gave the hotel an average rating because, despite the again accommodations, the people that work there are friendly and helpful.
I was very happy with the quality of the room, and amenities in the hotel. My daughter loved the pool. It looked like a favorite of all kids in there. I enjoyed the huge breakfast spread with fresh cut fruits, and the politeness of the servers while it was quite packed in there. They arranged to sit as many people as showed up. They had a great supply of complimentary breakfast and will rate the breakfast with 5 stars.
Nice and clean everybody was friendly he breakfast is wonderful and you get real plates and silverware and there's someone in their stocking and cleaning all the time Plus having the bar and restaurant on site is great everything is convenient they located also.
I don't even consider staying anywhere else. Usually I come stay for a quick getaway and some shopping. I know when I stay here that the pool and hot tub are gonna entertain me and my daughter. I also know that the free breakfast is top of the line as far as continental breakfast goes. All of the staff are friendly and willing to fulfill any request a person might have. I will stay here again in the future.
They really do a great job. The desk is very nice and very efficient. The housekeeping does. The breakfast is one of the best. The hotel is a little dated but very comfortable and clean. I like this Best Western.
Sauna can be fixed. The pool and hot tub are great and there's even a 1 foot kiddie pool. Breakfast had sausage bacon muffins with gravy. Waffles cereals scrambled eggs and muffins. Not to mention the fruit salad!!
We had a marvelous weekend getaway. I took my 2 year old and the staff was incredibly nice and very friendly when it came to interacting with her. The pool was heated and the hot tub was amazing. The breakfast was delicious and they kept it fresh all morning. The bar/lounge was very nice, great service and the food was good. The beds were pretty hard but the pillows and blankets were comfortable. The internet was pretty slow, but they were very full this weekend. Overall it was an amazing experience and will definitely be staying at a best western plus again.
My stay at the BW Plus was a pleasure. Service was professional, prompt, and caring. Location is good with respect to stores, services, etc. in town. I am impressed by the dedication and diligence of the staff. I had a great stay and look forward to another one.
We picked this hotel because it had a pool/spa and restaurant on site. Upon check in we were told restaurant was open till 10, it closed at 2 because the staff wanted to go home. The pool was dirty and spa was broken. Not happy with our stay
Always very clean. Friendly/helpful staff. Delicious free breakfast. Nice restaurant/bar with a full menu and view of the courtyard. Awesome pool area with nice hot tub and sauna. Can get rooms that open directly onto the pool deck. Love this hotel.
Staff is so helpful and friendly, rooms are clean, beds are comfy and the pillows! Nearby to restaurants in downtown Moscow! Near to shopping mall and across the street from the University. It may not be the newest hotel but it has great overall value. The Seasons Pub and Restaurant in the hotel is very good and handy when the weather is bad....excellent food. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!
Excellent checkin service with no wait. The Bar and restaurant had great service and good food. Breakfast food was above the normal hotel buffet food - excellent. Very clean facilities staff was very friendly and helpful.
seriously best breakfast ever, and the grill was awesome as well, breakfast staff very nice and helpful with anything you needed . front desk was the same, very nice and helpful. hotel very clean and nice interior inside. rooms were very comfy and clean. parking was easy with a nice covered large entrance area. pool and hot tub were nice, overall an excellent stay. the only minor issue we encountered was no bathroom exhaust, though there was a small vent near the ceiling?.
From the time I drove in the parking lot I knew this was going to be a first class visit. I was greeted by I believe his name was Sean and a gal named Sidney. Both of them were fantastic. Now get this, even though I was five hours early for check in both said no worries. Now I had been driving for hours and was in need of a shower and rest, but first I needed food. It was past time for the breakfast and too early for the restaurant to open. Now it gets better. There was a younger man cleaning the lobby area who was paying attention and listening to my predicament for food. He offered to take me downtown to the best breakfast place in the area. Kyle is his name and he gave me a card to call for a ride back. Kyle went way out of his way to make me feel like a VIP. I don't know if you have an employee of the month or some kind of employee recognition but Kyle is my pick. Next time I plan to stay longer and try your restaurant. I did use my free cocktail coupon thanks for that. So the next time I have to go to Pullman I will book for 2-3 nights. Thanks for a great stay.
Every employee from housekeeping to management was professional, friendly and helpful during a very busy weekend. I would highly recommend the University Inn. Our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. Thank you
Can't say anything bad about our stay because everything and everyone was just perfect as well as professional. Just a wonderful experience after a long drive and having a nice clean room, comfortable beds for a great night sleep, and great service all around. The breakfast was superb… Eggs and potatoes especially, not to mention the friendly, professional service.
I never leave reviews but I feel that I must commend you all on your night attendant Cael. When it comes to Night attendants, this one is a different breed. In my countless stays in hotels you get the typical antisocial, limited social skills that seem to avoid any kind of human interaction. Not Cael! He is attentive, he is social. When my little group stays every few weeks. He has breakfast items set and it seems like he even goes out of his way to have bottle water in ice for us and extra things like hard boiled eggs. Our ice packs are sitting on the counter waiting for us. We never have to ask for them and wait. He is always up for a good conversation! Thank you Cael!
We love the location & the hotel. Have probably stayed here 10 times in our 23 years of marriage. Always clean & great service - we were upgraded in 2019 not sure why but it was appreciated! Overall great place to stay
Great value. Booked a stay and play golf package. Hotel rate was great when figuring in the cost of the golf. Friendly and helpful front desk and bar staff. Staff were all masked, which I appreciated. Walking distance to campus and downtown restaurants. Package included a drink in the bar - where the house wine and beer selections were not the best. Knowing that Idaho is like 35% vaccinated, we were reluctant to eat in the dining area for breakfast, so asked one of the staff if we could take our plates to the room and eat, and he was very accommodating. Nice breakfast buffet. Pillows were a little lumpy. But overall, I would definitely stay here again.
Very friendly staff, clean rooms, free internet, and complimentary breakfast. Would very much recommend. Arrived to a fruit and cheese basket which was a nice touch. Oh, and I appreciated the complimentary water bottles at check in.
lumpy horrendous mattress and extremely filthy ingrained dirt carpet did not expect at supposedly a highly rated hotel. no light next to the only comfortable chair to read. the toilet facilities were fine as well as the check in staff who were very cordial
The rooms are a little dated but the service and amenities are excellent. They have a great bar/restaurant on site. They also have a nice pool area. It is well designed, with plenty of rooms and they employees give fantastic customer service.
Bed sheets were WET, restaurant service was awful! Food was cold and took over an hour to get 4 meals (burger, nachos and 2 prime rib). Asked to talk to a manager at front desk about room never heard back.
All the employees were friendly. The rooms were so comfortable. The best breakfast I've had at any hotel. I would stay here again. I would recommend this BW to anyone coming to Moscow. 5 stars for sure.
I've stayed at the BW Plus University Inn now four times, always during motorcycle trips with my spouse and friends. The staff are always incredibly friendly and are happy to have us park our motorcycles in the breezeway where they can keep an eye on them. The unique concrete construction keeps the entire property (which is rather large and features a great many amenities) exceptionally quiet. I always look forward to staying here and to visiting the lovely town of Moscow.
We stay here regularly and can always count on a quiet, well appointed room, helpful staff, and great breakfast. The location is next to Winco and across the street from the University of Idaho. There are restaurants and shopping nearby. I highly recommend.
Our first night we were in a room on the grass courtyard. There were multiple baseball teams staying at the hotel and they were really loud until we requested the staff quiet them down at 10;30 p.m.. The night clerk Jordan went out and immediately took care of the situation and was extremely apologetic to us. We felt like she cared about our experience and wanted to make sure we had a restful time. We will return.
We greatly enjoyed our stay. The continental breakfast was delicious, the restaurant is terrific, and we had a lot of fun in the swimming pool. The rooms were well-appointed and the service was speedy. Would highly recommend!
Absolutely Filthy! The floors had so many large stains all over the floor that I couldn't count them. We had noisy neighbors after midnight and it took multiple calls to the front desk to get them to deal with the issue. The rooms are so small and cramped that we couldn't walk by each other. There wasn't even room for me to do simple exercises on the floor in the room. It is overpriced for the state of the hotel. It is in dire need of renovations and management doesn't deal with problems that arise. The saving grace was that we had the kindest bellman. The college kids working there are wonderful, but the management isn't keeping up with problems that need addressed. It's overpriced and in need of repairs.
My wife and I booked a poolside room at the Best Western in Moscow Idaho. Great room. Great service. The pool, and hot tub, were clean and in good working condition. The bar was comfortable, and well equipped, with friendly service.
We were well pleased with our stay to attend a family wedding at Maden Farms. Enjoyed our stay with adjoining room. We met with family to spend time during continental breakfast and the food was wonderful in the restaurant at the hotel.
I stayed here with my family for a few days to explore the area and local colleges. The location was fantastic to both U of Idaho and Washington State, with plenty of amenities at the hotel like the pool, complimentary breakfast, etc. I didn't see any other hotel in equal value and will be a regular during future trips to the area.
This hotel will raise your expectations for every other hotel. I travel nearly half the year for business and stay in a wide variety of hotels. This hotel has now set the bar for my expectations when traveling. From booking, communications, cleanliness, food service including options, to check out and managing my last minute changes this hotel is first class. I frequently book for groups as well and am so impressed by the extra care given to ensure my guests and I have an experience that exceeds expectations. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure I highly recommend this hotel.
This is an amazing gem. The hotel is a spacious and well-maintained property. The staff goes over the top to assist guests in any manner related to enhancing their visit. The breakfast offered to guests is replete with a wide variety of selections and the cafe is an immaculate, spacious area to enjoy the bountiful choices. The common areas are large and spacious, the outside lawn area is delightful and the indoor pool is well maintained. I highly recommend this property!
She's holding up well, and back up to steam post-COVID. Pool, restaurant, breakfast room were all in operation again. Rooms are quiet and appointed with all expected amenities. Property is in very close proximity to U of I and just ~8 miles from WSU for all of your university event needs. The courtyard is just finishing up on summer landscaping and is inviting to sit or just enjoy a stroll through. Lounge chairs adjacent to the pool are available indoors or out, and BBQ and beanbag toss equipment were out but not in use. Pets are welcomed, there is a mini-store of convenience items, but Winco is directly across the side street, so EVERY last minute grocery or HABA item is readily available. Rooms are cool (thankfully) and quiet due to brick construction inside and out. I don't know the state or remodel date of all rooms, but our decor was not outdated, although carpet definitely needs a refresh. Housekeeping appeared adequate throughout the property. Pricing was refreshingly competitive. The only reason I have not stayed at this property previously was the higher-than-local-average room rate. Would totally stay again if prices remain competitive. Book a courtyard view room, unless you just HAVE to watch your vehicle. Oh, and there were a limited number of rooms that opened DIRECTLY onto the indoor pool deck, if that's your thing. ;)
Hotel room door is not wheelchair accessible without assisstance, nor are the side entrance doors. Wheelchair accessible shower allows water to flow beyond shower area. The hotel in itself is fine as the hotel staff is very efficient and courteous, as is the exceptional wait-staff in the Seasons Restaurant. They definitely need to employ either better productive or more kitchen staff, cooks, maybe a chef. When your wait for appetizers is over 35 minute and main entry is more than an hour. Service Please.
From the time I arrived at the Best Western in Moscow to my departure 3 nights/4 days later, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The lobby and public areas including Seasons were clean and spotless, my hotel room was the same - kudos to the Housekeeping staff. The friendly personalities of the staff in Seasons were a welcome finale at the end of each day. The food: in my opinion it's the best hotel breakfast in Idaho; suppers were tasty and prepared with fresh ingredients each night. Front desk staff provide a high level of service - a great welcome after driving all day. The BW Plus University Inn in Moscow is the best place to stay in the area!
Efficient and informative check-in, complete with cookies. The room was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Bed was comfortable, and the shower had adequate water pressure. Complimentary breakfast was ample. Lots of choices, but the hot food was not hot on our first visit. Large dining area, we did not have to wait for a table. And the dining area was always open, so we used a table to play cards in the evening. Very happy the motel has its own restaurant. Ate dinner at the restaurant one night. It was very busy, every table was occupied. We waited quite a while for ordering and food arrival, but that's to be expected when they were that busy. Food was good, but not great. Nobody checked on us until after we were done, which was a disappointment. Pricing was acceptable. The indoor pool area was clean, lots of tables. Location was walking distance to several other food options, and we walked to the U of I campus.
Bed was HARD. Food not good. Shower curtain missing. Very little TP in the room. Took them over 24 hours to get more to us. Worst thing was, we came back to our room after being gone most of the day, to find our door propped open from when housekeeping was there and NO one around!!!!! Thank God nothing was missing. Management did tell me that they would give us 20% off after we checked out. Waiting to see if it will actually show up on my CC.
Find other food. The restaurant in the Hotel is supposed to provide room service, but won't even answer the phone if they are busy. Which is an issue at 9 pm on a Sunday, cuz not much else is open. The rooms are okay, and maintained but the carpet looked like is was 20 years old and hadn't been shampooed in 5.
We had decided to stay an additional night during a recent trip. It was an unplanned overnight. This hotel was close to where we were shopping, so I called to see if they had a room & was happy they did! We were tired and just wanted to relax. When we pulled up to the hotel after booking by phone, it looked like the hotel was super small - a place to hang our hat only! Boy, we're we surprised!! The hotel is huge!! The staff were super sweet and the breakfast was INCREDIBLE!! The pool and hot tub were so nice and beautiful. I will be back to stay again soon!! (The only negative...the hotel rooms were outdated and rooms dark. It felt dungeon-ee a bit. My daughter was with me and thought it was rather cool!! Loved the courtyard too. So pretty! The fire pits/chairs out front were a nice touch too. Very bougie!!! We enjoyed a glass of spa water with cucumbers - delish!! Unique hotel and can't wait to come back!!!
We've stayed there a couple of times. Most recently I was tasked with coordinating a conference for our staff. Managers from across the state. We needed meeting rooms, catering within a set budget, equipment, the works. The task was given to me and a peer who had never began to do anything like this before! Melanie and Corina were life savers! They were both available via phone/email/text and worked like crazy to pull this whole thing off! I received at least 6 different "good jobs" from the area managers and staff who attended. They each said it was as good as or better than any meeting they had attended. Some of these folks are 30-year people! Bottom line - Give them a call. The food is great, breakfast is a real sit-down bacon and eggs affair, and the bar stocks my favorite Talisker Scotch! Melanie and Corina made this whole thing look easy!
My family stayed at the Best Western the weekend of 4/9-4/11. The check-in process was quick and the staff was friendly. The view from our room was of the indoor pool, which meant that if we looked out the window during pool hours, we were making eye contact with someone in the pool. The pool was full (really full) from the moment it opened at 8:00 a.m. until it closed at 10:00 pm. Luckily we were up early both mornings, but for people wanting to sleep in, the noise from the pool could be an issue. We tried to get breakfast at the hotel one of the mornings, but the line was really long and the restaurant area seemed to be full. Despite these things, our stay overall was great. Our room was clean and once the pool was closed, the rooms were quiet. We would stay here again.
I stayed here for 2&1/2 days attending an onsite zoom conference. Staff was very helpful and efficient and it never crossed my mind to eat anywhere else. The food was very good. The menu choices ran from lighter fare to real comfort food.
Lovely place to spend three nights. We chose to stay here because we wanted a place with a pool. It was lovely and never crowded. We'd definitely recommend the motel to others--just don't eat the restaurant food.
Hotel really catered to families coming up for college visits. Coupons for the restaurant and free bar drinks. Nice hot breakfast. Very close to campus and to shopping mall. Cookies on arrival was a nice touch.
They really do a good job of making a great stay happen. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The hotel staff is excellent. The value is good. It is a very nice place, maybe just a little dated decor. I really like this place.
With COVID, I was apprehensive about venturing out to stay in a hotel. I have an appointment in Lewiston, 45 minutes to the south. I've tried many of the hotels in Lewiston pre-COVID and have always found them to be lacking on the cleanliness standards. I never worry about staying here. And, once again, I was not disappointed. The staff is wonderful and friendly, but more importantly, every single staff member was honoring the protocols of the hotel. If you have a reason to need a place to stay in Moscow, Pullman or any of the surrounding area. Please stay here.
We love Beer and Fun!! Best micros and fun around we hav found in a year ir so!! Lots of young n Older couples from University towns..Perfect!! Was Snow on ground and made Sniw Ages made everyone Hapoy n Cherry in Bar Restaurant area..Beautiful
We have had very positive experiences with our stays at Best Western Motels. That being said, the University Inn was one of the best. It is uncommon to find a motel restaurant that rivals four and five star counterparts. But the "seasons Restaurant and Lounge" definitely competes well. Even in the current suppressed leisure/vacation market. The University Inn in Moscow, ID. was a distinct highlight.
We've stayed here more time than we could count. Rates are reasonable considering you get a fresh, made-to-order breakfast...scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc., etc. The facilities, jacuzzi and pool, are excellent (we don't use the sauna, not open during Covid, or gym, but they look fine, too). The onsite restaurant and bar means you needn't even leave the property for great food and drink. The bed/pillows extremely comfortable. The staff (especially Sean) are exceptional!! BW's Rewards Program also the best we've found. After a few stays, we get a free one. The value of free breakfast and rewards makes BW an exceptional value. We try very hard to not stay anyplace else.
This hotel was very nice for the price. The location, right across the street from the University of Idaho is ideal. You can walk to restaurants and some shops. Nice pool area however, we did not use it. Room was well-maintained.
We will for sure go back to the Best Western Inn in Moscow. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The Lounge/Bar service and food was top notch!! Everything was clean, breakfast was good!
Some things were frustrating because of COVID but this hotel is full of nice and honest people. There wasn't as much communication as I wanted. Food is great at Seasons and breakfast. The pool and gym were mostly closed.
Clean, great staff, restaurant and bar good, comfortable bed, very close to shopping, reasonably priced. Overall great stay. The university is close by and there are some nice local restaurants to choose from
The location is nice the staff is wonderful they bend over backwards to help we enjoyed our stay mentally and try to come at least once a month. The restaurant was good and the breakfast was fantastical
Stayed for two nights. Had my small dog with me. They were very accommodating and made the stay with my pet easy. I would definitely stay here again. Parking was easy and it's located next to stores, restaurants and grocery store. The hotel. Restaurant was good too.
We enjoyed the extra efforts on cleaning everywhere. The dining staff made real efforts between guests to keep all tables and chairs disinfected. Large variety on breakfasts. Free drink and good food in restaurant. All appreciated...
We stay here regularly. Rooms are large, clean and super quiet with the concrete walls. Location is perfect next to stores, dining, close to U of Idaho. Service is consistently excellent. Good breakfast included - even decent during covid. This hotel is a great choice.
Room was well appointed, fantastic pool for kids, restaurant/bar was SUPER! They even gave the kids beach balls for the pool. Hard to find a baby pool these days, so there was something for each of my three kids. Will definitely be back.
Another great stay at this hotel. The rooms are not fancy and it is a little dated but very clean, comfortable with great amenities. The breakfast offered is really good and the servers are great. Love their bacon. It is a good value for what you get with a nice pool, exercise room and a really nice interior courtyard.
Wonderful staff and the Presidental suite was perfect for a family birthday party. Access to courtyard and swimming pool. Birthday boy was very surprised. It was perfect. It felt more like a resort than a hotel. Going out the sliding doors to the courtyard and patio tables it felt more like we were at home. Well worth the expense.
Stayed for 6 nights and could not speak more highly of this hotel. The pool, fitness center, rooms, restaurant, and complimentary hot breakfast were all fantastic. Highly recommend this pet friendly hotel!
Our entire experience at this hotel has been exceptional! The attention to cleanliness and the cautions taken to protect guests during this COVID crisis has been outstanding throughout the hotel, including the front desk staff, housekeeping staff, the breakfast staff and the restaurant staff. The food and service in the restaurant and lounge is tremendous! Special kudos to Jackie at the front desk, as she went above and beyond assisting us with obtaining a special request, bless her heart!
Room was clean, hotel was following all COVID-19 cleaning recommendations and protocols. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and I greatly appreciated having the cleaned and private gym facilities. Outdoor seating for the restaurant is very limited and I noted people tend to stay way beyond their dining which makes it difficult for others to enjoy.
Nelson at the front desk went above and beyond to help us during a difficult trip. The hotel is very nice with a bright, cheerful bar and a beautiful courtyard. COVID precautions were everything you could wish for.
We traveled for our grandson's baseball tournament. It was such a great place for children and adults to stay. The food and beverages were great. An awesome pool and courtyard. I would definitely stay here again.
It may be a little date but overall it is a very nice place. The hotel has a good layout, plenty of rooms, a large pool and more. I especially was pleased with the hot breakfast. They still are not back to buffet style but they did offer a hot breakfast served to you. This was a huge plus now traveling during the Covid crisis. I would go out of my way to stay here just for that. Nice place.
We needed a comfortable place to stay (I'm 8.5 mo pregnant) while we moved from a rental house into our forever home. This fit the mold perfectly. Wonderful bathtub in the deluxe king room we booked. Staff was helpful!
This is a great place to stay. The in house restaurant and bar are fantastic. The food and service were the best. Very clean and friendly place to stay and close to the university. A beautifully maintained facility, including pool and grounds. Highly recommend.
Enjoyed a “staycation” and loved every moment of our stay. The reservation process was so easy and check-in was a breeze. The rooms were amazing - clean, spacious, comfortable and cozy. We ordered room service and were treated to yet another great dinner from Seasons. The prime rib dip and the chicken fried steak are excellent choices. The boxed breakfast was packed with delicious treats - healthy and some maybe not so healthy but delicious options. I can't wait for our next staycation!
We decided to stay here while visiting our daughter. We called ahead to change our online reservation and they allowed us to do so with no penalty. My husband was having knee problems and the hotel bent over backwards to help us. They got us a room with 2 beds near the exit so he didn't have to walk far. We got 4 complementary coupons for happy hour drinks at the bar. They allowed us to check out late and last minute when Covid 19 issues became worse and didn't charge us for our final day. The staff was wonderful and we will miss the opportunity to stay there again since our daughter has now moved from Moscow.
The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Staying at the Best Western was a great experience and super close to U of I where we were having our competition. I would highly recommend staying here!
This place has everything, and the most important thing is great service! I always look forward to coming to the Pullman area just to stay at this place. The restaurant is top notch with more than fair pricing, the BW breakfast is different than other BW breakfast food with it being a higher quality of ingredients.
This was a great hotel and located close to University of Idaho. We also enjoyed the restaruant which was fabulous. It served excellwent quality meals. The bar service was great with attentive waitresses.
We had a great time with our kids and the other kids in our family group. Some of the rooms open up to the pool deck and those were fun. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options for our crew and it was all tasty.
We had to make a trip to Moscow for a funeral. We got in early and was able to check in early. Rooms were great. The bar was great. Free breakfast. Free shuttle service to airport Awesome service and great location.
Very nice stay. The restaruant/bar was above average. Offered a nice happy hour appetizer menu for a great price. Delicious and generous portions. Had a bloody mary that was really good. House red was nice. Breakfast options were very good. Fresh fruits, food was fresh and tasty. Room was comfortable. Staff in all areas were great. No complaints-would definately stay again.
A nice hotel with a bar/restaurant and convention facilities. Hotel lobby, front desk area and lounge are very good and up to standards. Hotel staff very good. Our main issue with this property was the failure to maintain the bathroom (paint missing/peeling off below mirror.) Shower head not good, and bathroom fan ran all the time. Missilng light (out) which was corrected by maintenance.
All staff exceptional service, made me feel as if I was staying at home. I have experienced this service and friendliness at all the best west I stay. Staff make me feel that it is heart felt and not just part of their job requirements, goes way beyond.
The room was clean and well situated. The service was excellent - great folks at the desk as well as room service. The location is great - very close to downtown and popular stores and amenities. There is also a very nice indoor pool. The staff is very responsive and kind.
I wish so badly that I could give this a 5+ star review but the only reason I am giving it a 4 is do to the confusion that the staff had at check-in. I worked with Angela Osborne on coordinating my groups golf trip and needless to say that she was absolutely incredible. She handled the room reservations, setting up our tee times and also left me a hand written thank you note with a fruit platter in my room.... Not to mention a welcome message on the reader board out front for our group. She was very accommodating every time I had a question or had to change the number in my party. When our trip was done I drove back from Palouse Ridge to meet and thank her and she even reserved the same trip for me in 2020. If you are a golfer and have not looked into their stay and play package offerings you are doing yourself a disservice; 2 nights stay with double occupancy, 2 rounds at Palouse Ridge and 2 rounds at Circling Raven for the price they offer is an absolute no brainer. If I could give a rating to Angela alone she would easily exceed the maximum amount allowed for everything she did for our group and still continues to do in preparation of next year. Excited to come back with more members of our annual golf trip in 2020.
Everyone from check in to housekeeping were fantastic. Shaun at the front desk was extremely helpful by keeping me in the same room over multiple reservations. The Seasons restaurant has delicious food and great service. My entire stay was fabulous, one of the best, if not the best hotel experience I've had. This hotel and its staff were an integral part of an awesome vacation to see my family.
Was surprised at the size of tjis location and quality. Lobby was beautiful. Room very nicely decorated and comfortable. There is a onsute restaurant but our visit was over Thanksgiving and having dinner with family but there were a lot of people going in. Lobby smelled of frsh made cookies...very homey.
I really liked this hotel and the employees. I just want to be completely upfront in a review. It could use an update with the carpeting and mattresses. Despite this, I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who doesn't need fancy and new. I guess it kind of reminded me of staying at an aunt's house...Comfortable, a bit of a blast from the past, and a home-cooked breakfast. I loved the following things: nice employees, fruit-infused ice water and a keurig in the lobby 24 hrs, easy parking, restaurants very close, quiet hallways, a hot breakfast, and the best of all...we were booked for a single queen bed through expedia but upgraded to two queens at no charge. That was so nice and very much appreciated. I would make this my go-to hotel anytime I visit WSU or University of Idaho.
Great location and very clean. The Staff is very accommodating and friendly. After years of traveling to the area and staying in other hotels, Best Western has become our first choice. We recommend this property to everyone we know and look forward to returning.
Arrived in town to discover that my reservation had been cancelled by Best Western International with no prior notification. The hotel provided no solution and we were forced to find an alternate solution on a busy football weekend. Very disappointing.
Great staff that were friendly and helpful. Their staff or hotel management made customer service a priority and it was the best I've experienced this year! The rooms were clean and location was perfect for activities in town and on the campus.
Just across WA/ID border & 6 mi from WA State U in Pullman where my grandson attends college, this property was comfortable, easily located & near everything (including U of Idaho campus & gorgeous Arboretum). It's a fresh & modern property with friendly, helpful staff & free breakfast every morning—hot items, too. The Palouse area is nearby & oh so beautiful to explore by car & then hiking The daily rate, for a prop of this kind, was surprisingly reasonable. Just don't stay there, or any weekend, of a football game unless you're prepared for the supply/demand rate hike.
I regularly travel for business, the Best Western near the University of Idaho is a great location. The staffs are friendly. The buffet breakfast is great! I enjoyed the complimentary drink tickets(2) for the on site restaurant. It would be more awesome if the drink tickets can be given out per the number of nights the guest stays instead of just for the first night.
In town for a conference...and the words “Best Western” as hotel leave me just a little bit cold. I know, I know...”First world problems” when the conference hotel makes ya cringe, right? But that's the power of a brand. Names mean things. When I think of “Best Western” I think of 1980s hotels that are overbuilt, outdated and crappy little soaps. Indeed, driving up, I'm thinking, “I bet this place smells like old people too.” Driving up, walking up, doors part... I'm thinking...yeah. I'm right. But. A gentle reminder to road-snobs who judge a book by its cover, “Don't.” Firstly, my checkin was lightning fast. Whoever you were, “Miss-short-blonde-hair-and-quick-brain,” you are either a hospitality natural or you were trained by a genius. My checkin was about 180 seconds. I've often wondered why checkins took so long but...this young woman had it down. Having “loyalty points” with competing brands, BW has obviously figured this out...seriously. 3 minutes. I was a last-minute registry and the phone conversation with the (male) manager the day before went smoothly - no complaints about overbooked capacity, no comments about “you should have registered earlier (as other brands have done)...the rate, the reservation were easy. Again, about 3 minutes. But interestingly, after letting the manager know that I'd be hungry when I arrived and, “...are there good nearby restaurants?” He replied, “Of course. There are good restaurants but if I were you, I'd just eat here. We're an unusual hotel in that our restaurant is one of the better places in town. Try it. You will enjoy your meal.” Heard that before x 100 but for some reason I believed and...was glad I did! Nestled in said ‘80s decor is an Applebees-esque bar/restaurant that screams of fried “xyz” but... DANGIT! The service was outstanding - I watched the bartender manage a full bar with food, drinks and conversation a'la Cheers®. To her, “Thank you” for the recommendation - the Gouda Philly was very good and fast. The aioli was good (not great) but that's subjective. The fact that you knew your menu thoroughly and was impressive and the fact that you came back to check on my food, in a busy restaurant, and remembered every question I asked...and seemed to care about my experience... you're awesome. Ask for a raise. Your wine list is “Idaho” btw. If I were you, I'd make it purely Washington but that's besides the point. I ended up enjoying two meals at same restaurant with two different crews - each one a master of small-talk, the menu, smiles and good cheer. I even experienced a dissatisfied customer explain his drink was made to perfection and the server nailed the relationship as if she'd been loving people like this her whole life. To you, “Well done and I agree with you and you handled it perfectly.” To the disgruntled drinker, “Bet you're coming back, right?” :) So walking past the dark halls, the painted corrugated concrete...I get to my room. Decor, of course, 1980s...and aside from finding someone else's charger cord (later) it was immaculate, the bed new and comfy...fine. :) Two-days down and I'm impressed, totally forgetting that there's no jasmine-water and piano player in the foyer. (Actually, I've never really had that, I'm just making a point of my own snobbery. Well, actually I DID experience that but it was ridiculously stupid). Anyway. So, the defining moment came when I left something valuable in the room and figured, “Totally lost. Totally lost. Don't even bother.” To the honest and courteous housekeeping and front-desk staff, “THANK YOU” for mailing them back to me. Received. To me, there's only one hotel in Moscow, Idaho. This one. I will be back...and to anyone looking to book a conference or show, “No worries.”
This best Western is my go to when staying in te Moscow/Pullman area, Always freindly and the amenities are great. Location is excellent, close to shopping and both close to Moscow and Pullman downtown areas, Very freindly and helpful staff
Great place to stay in Moscow,I'd. Nice restaurant/lounge so you don't have to drive for a meal or even a drink. They also offer drink coupons at the lounge. If you don't want to eat there then there is an array of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance to pick up snacks and any travelers essentials.
We arrived early and stop to see if by chance we could check in, our room was ready. First thing i noticed when we walked in was how clean it was! Everything about the room. Beds were comfortable, shower had great water pressure. For a hotel that was totally sold out with lots of partying football fans we never heard a noise. Really enjoyed our stay.
When Hertz dropped the ball with my rental car after Alaska Airlines made me miss my flight, the Best Western team went above and beyond to help me out. They gave me a ride back to the hotel and helped me get to my destination early the next morning. When there were no other options to get to the airport the next day, they arranged a ride for me.
The staff in every Best Western always greets you with a smile and asks how your stay is! They always make us feel welcome and will do anything for us. We have stayed in new buildings and older buildings, but always is clean and their breakfasts are always the best, hot and always refilled when empty! We brought our dog on this visit and at check in and check out they offered him a treat! Didn't get a chance to go to the pool but looked very nice!
We went to Moscow, Idaho to take a walk down memory lane for my husband who attended the University of Idaho. We walked into the Best Western to check rates and Jordan helped us. She was amazing and went out of her way to help us. We only booked one night but later decided to stay for two and again she was a super help. They have a bar that was perfect for us both nights. Food is great and the second night was especially fun with the bartender named Linda. It's right across the street from the mall which was also very nice. I would highly recommend this Best Western if you're looking for a place to stay in Moscow.
We were on vacation for 11 days. We stayed at 10 different hotels, some of which were resorts. The BW Plus University Inn was the best of all of the 10 hotels. The complementary breakfast was a cut above others hotels with similar breakfast options. I also used the washer and dryer during our stay. They were reasonably priced and worked well.
They were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome. It is included with the room and is much more than fruit and cold cereal. The room we had our conference in was comfortable and large enough. We also had great food for the conference.
Was in the remote location of Moscow, Idaho. BW was across from the University and a short drive to downtown. Service was great and amenities, such as the restaurant, meeting rooms, pool, exercise equipment, and breakfast were enjoyed by those in my group. Waffles in particular were a big hit. We would go back, if we are ever in the area again
We enjoyed our stay here very much. Our room was spacious and well arranged. Someone helped us with our luggage when we checked in. The breakfast had lots of variety and plenty of food. I enjoyed the yogurt machine with toppings. Bacon was done the way we like it—nice and crispy. Seating area was nice and they had real plates and silverware. On our second day, a leak developed in the bathroom so that towels and floor were wet. They moved us to another room and provided help transferring our luggage. It was one of out best motel stays.
great food in Seasons! and the cocktail selection was great and fun! we stayed here for a family event and so had many people in many rooms. not one issue arose! really enjoyed the hot tub and pool too!
The hotel is clean and well kept, including the pool and grounds. The restaurant has a nice menu and the food we ordered was very good. And the staff are outstanding...welcoming & friendly, and helpful.
Big rooms. Very clean. Good breakfast. Indoor pool and hot tub. Ample parking. Easy walking distance to University of Idaho. (go Vandals!) All of our needs were meant and the hospitality is great. Thanks!
Great, friendly, helpful staff. Good food and drinks in the restaurant. Soft-close doors for the rooms are nice. Good place for meetings and conferences, with the space in the hotel and several restaurant and grocery store options across the street.
This review is a little late. My stay was for August 21st thur the 25th. I had to take my daughter up to college and had never been to Moscow, Idaho before. I choose the best western because I am a rewards member and I love getting the points and also because of the trip advisor reviews. I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. Begining with Nelson at the front desk before I arrived. He was always so nice and helpful and always answered my many questions about the hotel and area. Plus, I think he put me in a room, I really loved. A nice, quiet room on a upper floor with a beautiful courtyard view! I It was either Nelson or Sean, I am not quite sure, but I was pleased either way. This hotel has very quiet rooms. I think because of the way it is built. Long story short, I was amazed at how warm and friendly everyone was at this hotel. From Lydia in the bar with her wonderful service and great special drink ( try her basil drink, it is wonderful!) to the fantastic happy hour. The food was great and the happy hour price was even better! Try the nachos and the wings, you won't be sorry. I loved that they gave you some coupons, for drinks at check in. I went once and then came back every night for 4 nights because it was so specticular. Best Happy Hour Ever! I also really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. It had everything you could want, all hot, plentiful and clean. Plus my daughter and I ate there every morning to save money. The breakfast plus the happy hour, had me saving so much money on eating out. It was a pleasent surprise. I did have one small issue with the room. I brought it to Seans attention at the front desk and the next thing I knew, he upgraded me to a suite! Talk about great custumer service! I was so impressed. If you are looking for a great hotel that is clean, quiet, and very close to campus. One with exceptional service, this hotel is for you. I look forward to coming back again and again. Unfortunately, I waited too long to book for parents weekend, which is still 3 months away. They are already booked up. Lesson learned. If you want this hotel, book early! Thank you, Best Western Plus Universiry Inn, for a very enjoyable 4 days. I will be back again and again.
I've been staying at this Best Western for over 20 years. It's always the place I go when I'm taking a trip to Moscow. The rooms are very nice, the staff friendly, and the food and drinks in their restaurant/lounge is very good. I also enjoy the pool and hot tub. I know I will be staying here again!!
A nice place with friendly service, good food and a perfect location. Season's bar and restaurant was great!! Rooms were clean with plenty of amenities. Front desk staff, housekeeping and restaurant servers were all friendly and helpful.
The location is perfect whether you are visiting University of Idaho, Washington Sate University or just enjoying the area. The facility, service, food, staff are all upscale! There are long paved walking/bike riding paths right across the street. This is our 3rd stay here and we will not stay anywhere else in the future. We visit our granddaughter attending WSU and it is just a quick 10 minute drive back to Pullman. UI is right across the street!
decent hotel, great location, good value will stay there again the hotel has in house restaurant and lounge, pool - all the amenities in a great location, walking distance to malls, starbucks, restaurants
We have always had great service at this hotel and most Best Westerns! Love the location being across from the University where our son is currently attending. Lots of convenient shops and dining close by etc. Always a good atmosphere and service provided!
We have visited the Best Western Plus University Inn many times and have always been greeted with a friendly smile and great attitude. These folks are the real deal in ensuring that you have a pleasant stay. The rooms have always been kept well, the amenities are very nice and facilities, business center, swimming pool, etc. outstanding!!. And ohhhh, the breakfast... is the best complimentary breakfast that we have had anywhere. Kudos to "Alan", the serving staff, and the kitchen staff. The folks from Best Western Plus University Inn, from housekeeping to management, are very genuine, professional and friendly. Shout out to Sean and Jordan for your part in such a great thing. We have highly recommended the Best Western Plus University Inn to friends and family that have their own student or have come to see our daughter at the University of Idaho across the street. Thanks again to Sean and all his staff and God bless you guys. See you on our next trip up.
We were welcomed by Kayla, a very helpful and friendly desk clerk. The room was on the 1st floor, which we appreciated, and was clean and comfortable. We were only staying 1 night but felt at home. We had a very nice dinner in the Seasons restaurant.
This is an amazing hotel and I can't say enough about the complimentary breakfast and cleanliness of the entire establishment. The pool area was well maintained and everything up to the parking lot cleanliness showed that the staff really cares about where they work.
We stayed in Moscow for my daughters move-in to WSU. This is one of our favorite places to stay. The customer service is excellent. They make you feel very welcome and are very accomendating. They also service a great breakfast.
Conveniently located near the University of Idaho. The rooms are sparkling clean and comfortable. I was initially skeptical that my room -- on the ground floor, located by the pool wouldn't be quiet, but there were no issues at all with noise. I woke up refreshed and rested, ready to start the work day. I highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Moscow, ID.
We loved the hotel staff and service. The restaurant was delicious as well. A nice courtyard setting. Location across the street from the University. Only issue for me is that the Property only has 2 elevators and our room was placed too far from an elevator as we are seniors and Schlepping a bag up and down stairs is difficult. Next time we will specify a room close to an elevator.
I am a BW Rewards Member and stay at BW fairly exclusively. This property is large but very comfortable. The front desk staff and housekeeping are very friendly, helpful and professional. This property has a great restaurant inside called Seasons. The morning breakfast offered by the hotel was OK but not as good as other BW Plus locations. it seemed a little stuffy. The wait staff not very friendly. Overall, however, this is a great BW Plus property!!
This hotel is outdated. For being "pet friendly" there is no grass available nearby. You have to cross a street - which is not ideal for late at night. Our room smelled like cat urine. We did enjoy the onsite restaurant. The staff was pleasant enough.
Spent the night for a visit to U of I. The staff and service were excellent. It is an older hotel that has had a lot of updates. The pool is great and they have a fantastic breakfast! Will definitely be back.
Spent three nights at the BW Plus. We had a few questions on the AC, but addressed immediately along with a new Fridge. Restaurant and Bar was very good. Lydia was our server most of the time and she was extremely helpful with suggestions and the service was spot on. Jordan and Nelson at the front desk should receive high marks for their service as well. We were granted a late check out due to our personal request. Thank you for a wonderful time.
Oh my gosh, my kids and I stayed here for three nights while attending a wedding there in Moscow. Let me tell you, waking up each morning was a TREAT. Truly, I think this place has the best hotel-breakfast around. From entering the restaurant (yes, it feels like a restaurant), one can tell "Woah, this isn't the normal grab cereal or a dry danish on the go!" The staff here knows how to do breakfast. Whether it was bacon or fat sausage links or veggies for breakfast burritos, it was just SO good. I never got the butler-type gentleman's name. But, he really knows how to make a guest feel special. We never got his name, but he was tall and had glasses. He took the job of hospitality at heart and put great care into the food preparation and presentation. Thank you for a splendid time!
Traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest and Canada, this was a great location. The hotel is situated across from the University of Idaho, and there is a wide range of restaurants and shops within a short distance. The hotel itself is new, clean, and well furnished. Indoor pool and hot tub, and a nice area outdoors in the middle. If traveling with kids who swim, several rooms open at the back directly onto the pool. Breakfast was hot, a lot of options (including eggs, bacon, sausage and waffles), and replenished regularly. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms large and comfortable, and a good place to stay.
Stayed at BWP University Inn while attending a conference at The University. (5 min. Drive to & from) Great location. Staff very friendly and accommodating. A pleasure to deal with. Hotel was very clean. WiFi was fast and with no problems. The free breakfast was one of the best we have ever enjoyed. Season's was great for lunch and or dinner. Appy hour ...food prices as well as beer and wine could not go wrong.
Lots of positives about this place - the service, the food, the location. I was here off season meaning the summer when the students are gone. This is a college town and starting in Sept the population swells by 21,000 or so. Nothing elegant about the motel, it is a Best Western after all, but it is fairly comfortable. The wall air conditioners are a pain - too cold, too noisy. I had a double queen room and the beds had some troughs in them, but otherwise were comfortable. Bathroom was fine even though the door cleared the toilet by 2 inches. Not a whole bunch of space. Shower was excellent with great pressure. The restaurant, Seasons, was excellent as was the service. Lovely view into the courtyard and they had outside seating too. They serve lunch and dinner. My room included a buffet breakfast which was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and showed me how to make my own Belgian waffle. Be sure to come early though for the best selection. Lots of goodies to choose from both hot and cold. I have stayed at hotels where a spread like this would be $28 PP so this is a distinct bargain - a delicious one! But the one thing that made this motel extra special was the fabulous service by everyone on the staff. Nelson on the front desk was a fount of information about Moscow and was able to get me the perfect room. When I called down for extra pillows or a luggage cart, I got everything immediately. Everyone couldn't do enough for me and I felt they cared about me. I checked out the Marriott down the road and it could not compare to this place. SO if you find yourself in Moscow, stay here and you will be happy you did.
From the moment I stepped into the lobby I knew this was going to be an exceptional experience. There were 2 staff people smiling behind the counter. As a senior I appreciated the individual attention guest in front of me recieved. They needed help with using the printer.
Best hotel in Moscow, Pullman area. Breakfast is better than most restaurants. Hotel has in house restaurant that is best in Moscow. Staff is very accommodating. The hotel has a wonderfull catering service foe in house events
We were in our 9th day of our western trip and spent the night in Moscow. This was a superb BW property that was also a small convention center. Our room was to the back of the property, so it was very quiet with no highway noise. It was a quiet, spacious room and the temp was well controlled. Breakfast was one of the biggest hotel spreads I've ever seen. You can't leave here hungry. Wonderful experience!
This was our first time staying at a Best Western. Great location... just across the street from the U of ID, a walking trail, a mall, and a grocery store. We found the staff at this Best Western to be friendly, professional, and very accommodating. They went the extra mile to fulfill our request for a room in a quiet location on the top floor, away from vending and elevator noises. The hot breakfast is the absolute best. Kudos to the chef! Our room was beautiful. Although the King bed was not as comfortable as we expected, the room was very clean and well-stocked with amenities. It was difficult to sleep the first couple of nights due to a loud air conditioning unit and the 24/7 noise from a bathroom vent motor. Hotel staff said the vent motor could not be turned off so we'll just come prepared with earplugs next time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely book this hotel again.
This hotel is my favorite Best Western property to date. The entire staff was amazing and helpful. Breakfast was early which was great for the ball players with morning games. The grounds looked amazing thanks to the maintenance staff and our room was great too. The restaurant had wonderful food at very reasonable prices. My only complaint was that the beds were not super comfortable but that wouldn't stop me from staying here again.
If you are every staying at the BW in Moscow Idaho and have a large group comoing in, ask for Angela in group sales. She was very professional and help me work everything out for our group. The price was very good. The family had an awesome time in the pool.
We were a small group but we had some logistical problems. They listened and solved it way beyond what we were asking for and what they perhaps should have done. They simply understood and went into action. They made our trip so much better. The rooms are clean and the facilities are terrific. This is definitely our only hotel to stay at in Moscow.
We are part of a car club that booked into the Moscow Best Western and found the staff extremely helpful for the group as well as for us individually. The food service was very good and the amenities excellent.
We have stayed here many times over the years. My son and my granddaughter both had their wedding receptions here. My Eastern Star Grand Chapter was held here and I hope it will be again in a couple of years. Our arrangements chairperson says everyone was so good to work with too.
As a frequent business traveler who is very brand loyal, I was apprehensive about staying at a new brand (we were visiting family in Moscow and wanted to not have to drive to Lewiston). Reservation: Due to the fact that I wanted to have space for the local family members to come hang out in, I called to check if they had any suites available (none were showing on the website) for one night - the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Ended having a very nice and helpful person on the phone who found me the last suite; he gave me good context about the experience of being poolside (aka potentially noisy until 10pm when the pool closes). He also made the reservation experience over the phone streamlined and painless, and helped me get a better rate by signing up for the BW rewards program. I really liked the confirmation/reservation document I received via email (very clear and relevant information included). Room: I booked the poolside suite room. When we came to check in they were able to accommodate an early arrival; the room was much nicer than I had anticipated. It was very clean; everything worked well; and it was very comfortable. It was the perfect room for what I had visioned - our family members were able to come over and we ended up having a truly delightful experience, spending the afternoon and the next morning making the most out of the direct access between the pool (which has a kiddie-pool area!), the sunken hot tub, the sauna, and our living area in the room as needed. The pool did get noisy in the later evening (as I was warned before booking) but it was shut down promptly at 10pm (about 15 minutes after we got into bed). Amenities: The hotel restaurant has a screaming good happy hour every day - I grabbed a quick drink because I couldn't pass it up. Breakfast the next day was very enjoyable (diverse selection of offerings at a much higher quality than most hotel complementary food). Customer Service: Was exceptional; everyone was very attentive and competent. I appreciated the manager on duty who interacted with other staff in a manner than seemed very courteous (a good sign when a manager treats coworkers well). Overall: We never need to look at any other hotel again for future visits to Moscow, because this is where I plan to stay.
If you are looking for a reasonable place to have a wedding in Moscow this is the place. The co-ordinator did an amazing job with the room selection, tasting and looking after all the details. The food was amazing. The only reason they don't get a 5 star is with the hotel itself. Trouble booking in and no hot water for 2 days was a bit hard to take but I am sure it is fixed now.
The outside appearance exceeded my expectations by much. The service was fast and efficient. Breakfast was very, very good. The cleanliness of the room and hotel was outstanding. We used a free night voucher and had nothing to complain about.
While waiting to check in, I overheard the woman that was checking out say, "You have the best customer service of any hotel - anywhere!". After staying there now, I couldn't agree more! If you want a great rate and AMAZING customer service (and a really expansive and tasty included breakfast!), don't go anywhere else!
Totally took advantage of graduation weekend and charged a lot. One of the most uncomfortable beds I have slept in or at least tried to sleep in. I have paid less for a hotel on the beach in Hawaii then they charged for a parkingklot view.....
I've stayed at many best westerns in the Idaho and Washington area. This one just treats you a way unlike any other hotel. I look forward to my visit and their service every time. Even if business is hard those days, atleast I can have something to look forward to. Which I do, BREAKFAST.
I recently planned a business meeting at the Best Western University Inn for my Colleagues. I worked with Nelson and Shelby and they did a fantastic job providing me the best room for our meeting and lunch options. The food was great and service was friendly and on time. The beverages were refreshed regularly and they cleaned up very quickly so we could continue working. Because of the excellent service we had a very productive and enjoyable meeting. Thank you!
Dinner at the hotel was amazing. The lobster mac and cheese, as well as the fish and chips were wonderful. The selection of beer was great as well. The hotel and its surroundings were clean, and well maintained. Rooms were very clean, and outfitted with the appropriate amenities for a comfortable stay. Lucia greeted us at the counter, and offered helpful, courteous information about the hotel, as well as accurate directions to our event located nearby. She was truly a caring person.
I have stayed in some nice hotels before and this ranks right up there. The breakfast is excellent, above and beyond most others. The rooms are nice and clean. They have a great pool and spa. Best Western Plus University Inn really is a great place to stay in Moscow Idaho!
Well managed hotel with friendly and efficient staff. A very nice hot breakfast is included with the room rate. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. We will soon be going back with a large group for a long weekend during which we will explore the Palouse. We were very happy with our stay.
The Best Western Plus University Inn in Moscow is by far the cleanest most comfortable Hotel in Moscow. The employees, everyone of them go out of their way to make sure you are happy and have whatever you need for your stay. The added bonus is the breakfast. You couldn't ask for a better group of people who are organized and above all clean.
Each time I travel to Moscow, ID. I always stay at this great property. always very well kept up and always great staff to make your stay the best. I highly recommend this facility, it's all wonderful from the restaurant, lounge and pool.
Great place for our family gathering. Some of the rooms open up to the indoor pool, making it very easy for the kids to spend plenty of time swimming and the adults to supervise. Our family had a great time and will be glad to return.
The Best Western University Inn in Moscow, Idaho, is a classic style hotel vintage early 1960's, but has kept up with the times. This property is right across from the University of Idaho and hosts teams of all sorts, conventions, weddings and just about anything else that one associates with a larger convention style hotel. The structure is a unique textured concrete throughout and the walls between room are very structural as well, leading to virtually zero noise transfer. The rooms have been continually updated, and we have been staying here for about 10 years on our recurring road trips to attend club gymnastics. Early in our experiences our kids enjoyed the very generous pool and hot tub while us parents sat around in a very spacious visitor area. There is a unique 'wading' pool area for toddlers plus a large deep area for the bigger kids and adults. Nice feature is a sauna just next to the pool. Good to enjoy during the long winter months in Northern Idaho. There is a nice resaurant on property that has excellent prime rib and the lounge is fully stocked and makes very tasty 'mules'. While it might appear to be less 'modern' than the chain hotels that seem to pop up on every corner these days with tiny pools and a few muffins that they claim are 'breakfast', this is a classic property, updated through the years and offers just about everything you need.
My sister and I had to make a surprise trip to Moscow when my father ended up in the hospital. Being unsure of the situation, I had booked two nights, but we soon realized we would need to extend our stay. The young lady was happy to accommodate us, but shortly after returning to our room, a very apologetic manager knocked on our door and explained that our room was in a block that had been reserved for an event. They needed to move us to another room. We were just happy to still have a room, but University Inn and the manager went above and beyond. They handed us a gift bag with water, candy, two gift certificates for dinner at their restaurant and two certificates for a free drink. That's not all though. He also told us to leave our suitcases on the bed and they would take care of moving them. My sister accidentally left her cell charger plugged in and they moved it and plugged it back in, in the new room! In addition, several staff made a point of asking how our father was doing every time we ran into them, including the cook who we ran into at the (awesome) breakfast. We will always stay here when we visit, and I would highly recommend them to everyone I know!!
We have gone to the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival for four years. Tried two other hotels before we found Best Western University Inn last year. BW is by far the best there is. The staff is professional, friendly, and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Nelson at the front desk is very personable, and manager Jacky goes out of her way to make sure everything is taken care of. The free breakfast is superior to any hotel and wait staff even bus your tables. We ate at Seasons three times while we visited and the food was perfect each time. Great value for your dollar. Shay is an excellent waitperson and we really enjoyed our time with her. Can't say enough good things about this hotel.
Always a great stay at the BW University Inn. The breakfast is better than most at Best Westerns. The rooms are clean and quiet! The lounge is great also. Love staying here right across from the U of I campus.
Services good, breakfast bar the best, pool and kid's pool also very nice. I asked the front desk if it was permissible to allow my grandkids to use the pool when they came to visit. The front desk put me in a room that joins to the pool. Very grateful to them!
While visiting my daughter in the area, we stayed the night for quiet together time. The hotel is close to the paradise creek path and we walked and talked for a couple of hours (my wife called it romantic, insightful, and wonderful conversation; as a guy I call it just "great" - I will work on expanding my vocabulary). Also easy walk to WinCo, Panda Express, several other good shops, and walking in the nearby mall. Great waffle, egg, and sausage breakfast (and there was so much more I didn't eat!). Thankful for special care from the receptionist, restaurant and breakfast people.
This was the quietest hotel room I think I have ever stayed in, due to the quality of the walls. It was bliss. The bed was comfortable and the room was very nice, in my opinion. The drink ticket and fantastic breakfast spread were also major pluses. Next time I am in Moscow, this is where we will stay again, hands down.
Exceptionally clean, with all of the services that were provided in great order. Well stocked and tasty breakfast and a great restaurant. The facility advertised a plus and definitely was. It's not a luxury resort but fulfilled the expectation set
The front desk was friendly and very helpful. With the brick walls, it is also quieter than many motels we've stayed at. And with a tall son, they had showers that worked great. Would recommend this facility to others.
The staff are always helpful and efficient. We enjoyed the happy hour in the Seasons. Shuttle was convenient. Front desk are always helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet. We have stayed 5 times with no complaints.
Love this place . People at front desk are so cool and nice . Everyone who worked here were friendly and made our stay very comfortable! And the breakfast is amazing! They have a light that changes colors in the pool that the kids really liked
Spent one night at the Best Western after dropping off a family member at U of I for the remainder of the semester. The hotel was very quiet. Something about those weird concrete walls just completely deadens any noises. When we checked in we were given two coupons (one for each of us) for a free beer at the hotel restaurant. They were only applicable to the cheap beers (e.g. Bud Light), but it gave us something to drink while watching the end of the Vikings/Packers game. We would stay again if we find ourselves in Moscow overnight.
I hadn't stayed at this hotel in several years and discovered it had been remodeled. It was beautiful. I was welcomed by several desk clerks and had a very easy check in experience. My room was comfortable and quiet. I ate in the lounge and had a delicious clam chowder and chicken quesadilla. I had planned on leaving my car there and taking the shuttle to the airport, but my flight was canceled.
Hotel is clean, pool and hot tub area are spacious, large vehicle parking available, Winco Foods and Buffalo Wild Wings right across the street within easy walking distance.Food in the bar was good, they give you a ticket for a free drink when you check in.Bar staff was busy, but pleasant to talk to and attentive. Desk and work chair are good.I gave it 5 stars, it;s not a 5 star resort, but it's a great place for what it is.
I've had the pleasure of staying at this great facility several times over the past three years each time I visit i'm welcome and made to feel at home and treated as a valued member of there family. Can't wait for my next trip to Moscow, Id.and this wonderful Hotel.
Great location for visiting your student at UofI and going downtown Moscow. Rooms are very clean and staff is very pleasant. Breakfast bar is really good. The staff in the breakfast room is on top of keeping the tables clean, coffee hot and full and the breakfast bar always has food in it until it closes. We brought our dog with us the last time and they are pet friendly. Even have a place for your pet to poop with bags. Price per night is great on a weekend with no activities from UofI. But when there is a special event the prices go up. So important to plan your stay.
Everything about the Best Western University Inn was comfortable and comforting. They are champs at customer service, and a lot of small touches like stations with ice water were all around the conference and reception areas. The breakfast room was spotless, and there were servers taking care of things while breakfast was happening. There was so much attention to detail. The hotel restaurant had surprisingly good food, and the conference meals were well above average in taste and appearance. It was an excellent conference.
We spent 2 nights for WSU Dad's Weekend. The motel is an older property but the room and other facilities are updated and very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. It was also really quiet considering it was booked full for an event weekend. The complimentary breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I've experienced . The motel is also very close to shopping and restaurants. This is the first time staying at this motel and would stay there again. In addition, it is pet friendly and our dog enjoyed his stay as well. The additional pet fee was waived which was a very nice thing.
We enjoyed a pleasant stay at this hotel. Rooms were clean, breakfast was excellent, staff was professional and helpful. The outside of the hotel is very simple but once inside it was a impressisve, welcoming and clean. Great place for conventions, weddings, etc.
Best Western Plus University Inn has always seemed to have our best interest in mind. We have a daughter at U of I and Best Western has become our home away from home not just because of the Best Western name but wholly due to the staff. They are top notch, genuinely friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and go the extra mile to ensure that we have the best hotel stay possible. That means everyone from the management, to the front desk, to maintenance and housekeeping. I could have gotten a cheaper rate at a comparable hotel nearby but actually felt as though I was betraying our friends at Best Western Plus University Inn so we decided to book with them and again we were not disappointed. Thank you to the Moscow staff and we hope to see you again soon. God bless
Looks like they updated this BW+University Inn.Probably the best accommodations in Moscow area. The Oregon Football team stayed here too.The free hot breakfast was great.I'll be staying here again on my next business trip
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We had dinner at the restaurant, it was very good. Many locals were there, a good sign. Breakfast included good, hearty food. Pool, hot tub and sauna areas were clean and inviting. We will certainly be back.
There are not a lot of places in Moscow and surrounding areas to hold a large wedding reception. If one drove past this hotel. it might not occur to use this facility. HOWEVER, do not let that fool you. This hotel is run with the most wonderful and outgoing staff, willing and able to assist with anything. There was a large group of family staying here and regardless of what oddball or emergency need we had, the staff here went out of their way to help, immediately. There was no exception to this and we left feeling that we had stayed in the best place for this occasion. The meal and preparation for the reception was top notch and the staff was on top of it. The rooms were beautifully cleaned and the restaurant staff was always prompt, on the ball, and friendly, engaging people in conversations and keeping everything neat and tidy. So if you ever end up in the Moscow/Pullman area, do not skip over this place. The staff here top nearly any and every hotel where we have stayed before, including those $$$$$$$$$$$ ones!
We visited this hotel for the third time over this past weekend, and it did not disappoint! Everything in my prior review is still absolutely true. I think my favorite thing about this property is the beautiful courtyard. The geraniums are still blooming, and the grass is like a green carpet. Alyssa checked us in at 4pm, and was back at the desk to check us out at 9am the next morning--friendly and efficient both times. This really is the best place to stay when visiting either Moscow or Pullman.
We always stay at the Best Western University Inn when in Moscow Idaho. The staff, room, food and location are perfect for us. We feel like we are at home there. Pool is nice as well. The breakfast is unbelievable, better than you would get at most restaurants.
This is an outstanding hotel/motel right across the street from Idaho University. The facility is top drawer. The staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. The breakfast is outstanding. The only place we will stay when in the area. It is the second time we have been here. There is a terrific walking path right across the street which will wind you through the University area and into town. If you go the opposite direction it will take you all the way to Pullman, WA!
Stayed here for a few nights while on business and it was excellent. Clean, quiet and the hotel staff was very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was by far best I've had in a long time! Parking was easy and many doors to make an easy walk to any room.
We always have a great time at this location. It is close to campus and the border of Washington. We especially love the service in the bar. The drinks are yummy and they have great crunchy snacks. Lydia is great!
Great location, helpful staff, nice lounge, clean room. Very hot outside, but our air conditioner worked great. We had great service and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast had many good choices, was clean, and well stocked.
Staying at the Best Western Plus in Moscow was a great experience. The room was clean, very comfortable and very close to campus! The breakfast had many options that were all very good! The staff was very kind and attentive!
Clean welcoming facility Professional customer focused employees Clean spacious rooms Warm cookie when you arrive! Nice pool and hot tub! We stayed at three hotels on our trip and wish we could have gone back. Would give 5/5 but the pool seemed overdue for a clean (it looked clean, but kids had goggles and it wasn't as clean as looked) and sauna wasn't working. Super minor tho- would definitely stay again. Awesome value!!!
Best Western was a safe bet for my family when booking a room. Very friendly staff. Nice amenities especially the pool/spa area and the hot breakfast. Great value for the surprisingly low price! Would stay again.
We rode in the early evening. Front staff was helpful and good natured getting us our rooms. The hotel breakfast the best setup and selection of any Best Western I have ever seen. I would have no qualms about staying here again.
Room was uncomfortable. There was a vert small table less than 16 inches in diameter and no chairs were available to use the table. If you order food to be delivered, you have no where to place it. The shower tiles are dirty and the drains are corroded with hard water. No extra towels available in room, so hope you don't require an extra towel when showering, you get one person. Had to ask for toilet paper. The hotel is pet friendly and you can hear the dogs barking and whining from one end of the hall to the other. Walls are very thin, can hear people laughing and the TV all night. If you use the pool, bring towels because they do not keep the pool towels full. You should probably bring them from home, then you'll have enough for the pool and the shower. It is clearly marked in several places "no food or beverages in pool area but it is not enforced. Geusts brought in boxes of pizzas and other foods and hotel staff ingnored them and allowed them to keep eating and dropping food all over the area. Hotel is definitely showing it's age. There are better places to stay in both Moscow and Pullman.
Very helpful staff providing small extras that make a big difference, such as lemon water and coffee/tea in lobby, TV sitting area in lobby showing the news, hot tub and pool with clean towels ready, well kept gardens, friendly staff, excellent breakfast included.
I recently spent a night here and was very pleased with all aspects of my stay. Room was clean and well-equipped; bed was comfortable. Breakfast included a good selection of hot and cold items. All employees I encountered were pleasant and helpful. If I'm ever in this area again, I would certainly not hesitate to stay.
The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was amazing and always helpful. We received a warm welcome from Nelson at the front desk. He couldn't be more helpful and more gracious. He quickly pointed out areas of interest and made shuttle arrangements for us to Washington State University. The breakfast at the hotel exceeded expectations. Five stars for Nelson and the staff.
This hotel and staff are on top of things. Very professional. Nice hotel. Clean, and friendly. One of my favorite stays. We used the pool and courtyard a lot. We were there for a Regionals Baseball and there was probably 200 boys and their family. They spent most time when not playing games in the pool and playing whiffle ball in the court yard. There was 19 different teams there for regionals and the way the pool and courtyard were set up allowed for them all to play together and parents were able to relax and have a couple drinks while watching. Such a great experience for our boys.
This Best Western exceeds expectations. Simple on the outside. Beautiful on the inside. I attended a class reunion here. The catering chef for our cocktail social and banquet was excellentl. The breakfast for hotel guests was plentiful, with freshly cooked eggs bacon, gravy, biscuits, waffles, etc. The hotel decor with lovely artwork of the Palouse was very tasteful. The reception desk was gracious and welcoming. The interior garden courtyard was beautiful and not what you would find in any motel. I highly recommend it if you are going to visit Moscow.
I stayed here to conduct a workshop. The hotel is well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The hotel provides a good breakfast. The internet connection could be stronger. The conference room facilities were good. The staff members were cordial and competent. The hotel is near shopping and restaurants.
great place to stay, with a nice place to eat and a bar to drink in if you don't want to go out. Room were clean and quiet. On the edge of town so you have a very short drive to the restaurant and brewery district downtown.
Absolutely the best mid-grade hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at! Hotel staff on all shifts were most kind and helpful. Rooms are immaculately clean. Very quiet hallways. They have a beautiful interior, private courtyard with colorful flowers and deep, rich green grass. We enjoyed a nice swim in their large indoor swimming pool and relaxed in the hot tub. Wonderful bed to sleep on. The staff even provided a roll away bed for our young granddaughter who was traveling with us. The next morning in their breakfast area (large and spacious) we enjoyed the largest selection of full and hot breakfast items we have ever had at a hotel. First class. We absolutely recommend this hotel to all.
We stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience! Every member of the staff was friendly with every encounter! The rooms are standard size, clean, and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was one of the best as far as variety and taste....every morning there was a variety: eggs (real scrambled eggs), bacon, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, tortillas for breakfast burritos, toast, bagels, English muffins, yogurt, oatmeal, fresh fruit (if you arrived early you got the raspberries and blackberries!), waffles, boiled eggs. Ample seating in the breakfast area and great service from the staff! You could also eat outside in the courtyard, which is beautiful! All day there was Keurig coffee and fruit water available in the lobby, cookies in the afternoon. The pool and hot tub were nice! The fitness area was small, but served its purpose. Laundry facilities were nice. Also you can rent bikes from Paradise Bike shop directly from the hotel, and the Latah and Chapman trails are right across the highway from the hotel. Conclusion: stay here if you visit Moscow!
We stayed here for a week while my grandson played soccer across the street at University of Idaho. Before we arrived, Nelson (front desk staff) thoughtfully sent me brochures about things to do in Moscow. Our room was clean, nice indoor pool, delicious free breakfast choices, great onsite restaurant and bar, friendly and helpful staff...At the front desk, Nelson was so nice and thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed...including a safe room where I could keep my laptop when I wasn't onsite...Very comfortable and friendly place to stay!
Food is outstanding! I always eat at the bar. Great drinks too. Happened upon Trivia Night and what a blast that was! Very clean. Friendly staff. Only complaint is that they fold dinner napkins on the other side of the bar right there in front of you. Weird when trying to have a conversation with someone. Too imposing.
I highly recommend this hotel after staying here for approximately 2.5 weeks for work. Great rooms (clean and quiet), all the amenities, friendly staff, free shuttle to and from town, wonderful complimentary breakfast, free WiFi, well kept outdoor sitting area, and a nice bar/lounge (they have a trivia night too). There's also a pool, workout area, and small laundry facility. And don't forget the complimentary cookies in the lobby and spa water. There are elevators to the second floor. The breakfast was impressive - scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast/bagels/English muffins, juices, etc. The hotel offers everything you need and with a friendly smile.
I have stayed here before and didn't hesitate to book again. The staff here make you feel really welcome and do everything they can to make your stay a good one. The staff who serviced my room did an excellent job and even left hand written personal notes thanking me for my stay. I was amazed when Linda behind the bar remembered me from 9 months ago. There is nothing negative to say about this hotel.
We stayed one night here. The rooms were clean. The staff was nice. The breakfast was a typical Best Western breakfast. The only problem was that the staff wasn't at the desk when we got there. There was a note to text for help. That wasn't an issue for us, but there was an older gentleman who had been waiting for over 15 minutes because he doesn't have text. They also ran out of cookies because all of the sports kids staying there took them so we could not have any. They didn't have decaf tea at the front either.
Met by some very friendly staff while checking in. Room was clean & quiet. You can open the windows partially which I always appreciate. Didn't have a chance to use the pool or hot tub but they looked inviting.
We were very happy we chose this hotel. It was in a very convenient location for our touring the area. Room was clean and spacious. Bedding good. Keurig coffee maker in room. HVAC was loud but was fixed right away after we called. Shower- best ever! Walmart, fast food and other restaurants are nearby. There is also a WinCo grocery with good prices, but you need cash or a debit card there. No credit cards. Front desk staff of hotel are wonderful as well as breakfast staff. Overall, a really good stay.
We visit Moscow fairly often and always stay at the Best Western. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast is very nice and the breakfast service can't be beat. You don't even bus your own tables. The rooms are large---only issue I have is that the in room refrigerator has to be the smallest one made.
Our stay was wonderful! The pool and hot tub were clean along with the grounds. The free breakfast was very nice, a great assortment. The restaurant had a delicious sounding menu but we had appetizers which we shared. Very good! Our bartender, Lidia, was very helpful when I wanted something off menu and created some great drinks. Our room was a two queen room and was large enough that we didn't feel cramped. If I had to find something negative about this place it was that there were stains on our room carpeting, but to me that's not a huge deal. All in all I would not hesitate to come back again and again or to refer to anyone else.
Moved room three times before getting an adequate one. The good one had a phone that didn't work correctly that staff didn't attempt to fix and curtains that were shredded. First room had stains on the floor second room felt like a cell All walls in hotel are cement due to design and noise reduction. If you have issues with enclosed spaces, this isn't the place for you unless you get a larger room with a courtyard view. Breakfast was pretty great buffet. However, one day was really greasy and the next couple days the food wasn't really warm and one of those days I was there right as it opened.
I stay in maybe 20 BW's a year all over the USA and Canada. This property is one of the very best in the chain. The room was great; large and well appointed. The bed was great, even if I don't like the small pillows. There was lots of plugs for our electronics. Parking was ample. Breakfast was exceptional even for this brand. The staff dressed and acted like professionals. In short, we were very pleased with our stay. To top it off, my wife really enjoyed the two complimentary glasses of white wine, as she drank mine. I too believe in the old business adage “treat everyone like special guests”. Great job.
This was my first trip here and I'm glad I stayed at the best Western plus. The room was very nice and clean, and quiet which is my other checklist item. Check in and check out were quick and easy. I had a room off the pool, which was very convenient. The breakfast was above average for this type of hotel.
Pool area was nice and is enclosed so we were able to enjoy it in inclement weather. Location was very close to restaurants as well as the University of Idaho. Breakfast area is one of the larger ones we have experienced at a Best Western so it was easy to find a seat and no lines to get the food even when it was very busy.
Best Western Plus in Moscow is conveniently located. The staff is helpful, courteous and friendly. The beds are very comfortable and have a good variety of soft-firm pillows. The guest breakfast is always fully stocked and the wait staff is responsive to your needs. The in house restaurant has great food and amazing desserts! We won't stay anywhere else when traveling to the Moscow/Pullman area!
The staff was extremely friendly. It is really close to the University of Idaho campus. We stayed in a room by the conference center. It was really noisy in the late evening. I wouldn't recommend a room there if you have small children. Get a room away from the conference center. The room was updated and clean.
a room with two beds was unavailable so we asked for a roll away - didn't have one - got an air mattress that deflated during the night - we were told we could have a two bed room the second night, but when we went to the desk to get it, they said it had been rented to someone else, so our daughter had to sleep a second night on the floor
Everything was great but the sauna and hot tub which didn't work, or not well anyway. Sauna instructions were posted on the outside, and were confusing and you had to open and go out for each step and it NEVER got hot. Only three jets in the hot tub worked and it was only warm.
A very nice hotel, well maintained and clean. Rooms are on the small side and a nice sitting chair would be a big plus. But the best part was the breakfast, it was absolutely top notch with a very friendly and efficient wait staff.
Clean, excellent service, quiet, great breakfast. The breakfast selection was good and the restaurant food was excellent. There wasn't any area we weren't satisfied with! Located directly across from the university, I enjoyed walking to my son's campus visits
My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food from Seasons is amazing. I had a beautiful view of the sunset from my room. I would be happy to stay here in the future.
I was in town for the vet hospital and because I was expecting to spend a lot on my pet, I opted for another, less expensive, hotel. Big mistake. I moved to the Best Western for the second night. The breakfast was edible, the hotel was a lot quieter, the pool was nicer, and the bar existed. All this for less than $20 more? I was a fool and will not make the same mistake again
This is a great place to stay in Moscow, ID. It was close to the WSU for visiting our son. The hotel is very spacious, clean and quiet. Nice breakfast buffet in the morning and the coffee is really good.
Called to book one room night when traveling and was told they were only allowing the booking of two night because it was Mom's weekend at the University where mother come spent time with the students. Decided to try to book two night since the rate was usually only about $90 a night and needed a place to stay. Was told the rate that weekend was $309 and two nights would cost over $620. That is purely bilking and taking advantage of those University families. Way higher prices than even peak travel season. Shame on you. Very disappointed in this hotel.
Check in was smooth, polite. Room was good, but the hotel is outdated. The pool isn't as nice as the pics. A little disappointed. The main reason for booking was location and that was good. Free breakfast was good but didn't like standing in line with all the snobby people staring at me at 6am cuz I'm not all done up. That was unexpected. It was my first time in this town and people were snobby and rude. Not expecting that. My biggist issue is that I was there for the Uidaho Bound at the university and I asked for a late check out if possible several times. Apparently they don't communicate cuz I had someone knocking on my door asking when I'm leaving. It was very rude since the front desk said it was ok. That was frustrating since I had to change plans since they apparently didn't want me to stay late. And the pillows sucked. I had a hard time sleeping on them. The noise wasn't bad though.
This was my first time staying at the BW+ University Inn. It was a pleasant surprise. Very nice property. Staff were all very pleasant. The only room available was a handicapped room near the door and I expected it to be a bit noisy. This was not the case. The bed was comfortable as was the room. There was easy access to the dining room where they had one of better breakfast offerings I have experienced. The bacon was like no other, no kidding. Eggs were scrambled of course, but not watery or under done. I felt at though I could have gotten this meal at a sit down restaurant.
The location itself is in exellent shape, they have put a lot of effort into keeping it clean and neat. Even better than good facilities is exellent customer service, which they had at all hours of the day.
The rooms were huge and clean, the customer service was awesome and the whole hotel was family friendly. There is a breakfast buffet that was fantastic and kept our whole family fed for the morning. The swimming pool has a kiddie pool section so all of the kids could splash and play without fear of getting in over their heads while I was relaxing in the hot tub. Sean the manager helped us to get a good deal on a room and also walked us down to the room making sure everything was set up appropriately! Hands down the best service in the area!
This hotel was nice and the people were incredibly friendly that worked there! They had a great breakfast buffet as well. Only downfall was the traffic can be really loud at night, so if your a light sleeper keep that in mind!
First time in WA/ID and selected this hotel due to the indoor pool and location. We took a campus tour of WSU with our daughter and this was great hotel. We were very surprised in how nice the property was.
Really enjoyed my recent stay... great breakfast... great service... and even better a pool to distract the kids. Overall was a fantastic time. P.s. Was able to get the adjoining room for even more space!
Very comfortable place to stay with a wonderful breakfast provided in the morning. Very nice bar/restaurant, pool and workout room. Quiet. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Moscow, ID location.
Free drinks. Brought us a baby bed in five minutes. Our rooms were clean early. If they didn't do something they explained why. Answered our questions about the town. We're cute with the kids. Food was great and waiter was awesome
Ditto to all the great things you Trippies say. The room was great and yes the breakfast was incredible. Love them Idaho potatoes! And, added bonus the dining room is quite nice. Big booths. I do recommend you get a room at rear of hotel away from the road and the shopping mall next door. Other than that it was a perfect stop on our road trip. Price was fantastic.
The hotel was wonderful for my family/s graduation gathering. The breakfast-incredible, the four season's bar good and the rooms comfortable and clean. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and the pool too. Great place to stay.
Stayed for 2 nights for our daughter graduating at WSU (Go Cougs). The hotel is layed out in a big square with a middle courtyard. Has free breakfast, a pool, restaurant and bar. Staff was helpful and friendly but stay was a little pricey, but probably due to winter graduations at WSU and University of Idaho.
The staff was courteous, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was wonderful! This was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had! Good value for the money; we will definitely stay again soon!
Nice and clean hotel close to the UI campus. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and had a variety of food items. Nice to have good accommodations with a reasonable price. They fill up fast on big weekends, so book ahead.
Staff very friendly, personable and accommodating. Facility very clean and fresh. Delicious breakfast with several choices so there's something tasty for everyone. Great location in Moscow as right across from University of Idaho!
Friendly staff and comfortable room. Walking distance to University of Idaho campus, restaurants and the mall. The breakfast is very good and the kids enjoyed the pool. We've stayed multiple times and will be back when we are in Moscow.
Spent a very restful and enjoyable night in Moscow, ID, at the Best Western University Inn. All the amenities are here with comfortable rooms, helpful and courteous staff, bar and restaurant, in-room wi-fi, etc. The only disappointment is the price. They made $ off of us from the restaurant and bar so why so expensive to stay? Near-by hotels are half the price. Nice place - questionable value.
This was a perfect location, close to airport and the business I visited. Great near stores and restaurants. However, it had a marvelous restaurant on site - and great breakfast. Very clean wonderful staff.
If you need somewhere to stay when visiting the University then don't go anywhere else. It is on the doorstep. The staff are great. You feel welcome from the time you walk through the door. Rooms are clean, comfortable and in good repair. There is a great selection for breakfast. For evening meals there is a restaurant on site. The staff here are great too. Linda was working most nights I was there and she had a real rapport with all her customers. By the time I left after only a few days she felt more like a friend. Looking forward to the time I need to return to Moscow.
I stayed at the Best Western in Moscow for 2 nights in November of 2017. The hotel was nice. Friendly staff. Great full breakfast. Restaurant/ Bar in the hotel. Good food. Nice conference room. Nice equipment in the fitness center. The layout of the hotel can be confusing. It is a little bit like a maze.
Hotel staff very friendly. Rooms very nice, beds comfy, rooms clean and offered every thing I expected and even a K-cup coffee maker with complementary k-cups. Breakfast was excellent! Large choice to satisfy any one. Dads weekends at WSU so the room was double the normal price, the bar/restaurant was not prepared and didn't even realize it was dads weekend so they were over whelmed! They tried their best but dinner took over 1 hr to get once we were seated. I would decently visit this place again but thank goodness my daughter is a senior so I will not have to pay the Dads weekend prices again.
This is our go to hotel in Moscow when we take out granddaughters out for an overnight. The pool area is wonderful, the restaurant is excellent, and the morning included breakfast is stellar! The staff is courteous and helpful, and having it be a one stop overnight is perfect.
If you are looking for a full service hotel with all the amenities this is the only option on Moscow. It has been there for a long time and they do a good job. If you are visiting the University for s scheduled event - book early.
Although an older motel, the management has done a very good job in keeping it up-to-date and comfortable. It is convenient to the University of Idaho, on the main road from Moscow-Pullman so it is very easy to access downtown. The rooms, although smaller than most comparable motels, are very comfortable and have adequate amenities. The big plus with this facility is the on-site restaurant/lounge which serves a fantastic steak, and the complementary breakfast. Great for business or if you are visiting the University.
After being dropped off at the mall across the street, my ride had some delays and the mall closed. And it was cold outside. Worse yet, I had precisely $3.10 and I was hungry. After heading out of winco with a burito, a small pizza, some cookies and a soda, I went to the BEST WESTERN in MOSCOW Idaho in hopes of a microwave to use. LET ME TELL YOU NOW... I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO KINDLY AT A HOTEL!!! Especially for a guy with no cash. I asked if I could use a microwave and wait for my friends....The Desk attendant took my food to the restaurant to be heated, she offered me some cookies and coffee, and a very cozy spot next to a fireplace!!! A few minutes later a kind gentleman brought my burrito with sourcream and fresh pico-de-galo!!! I am absolutely impressed and amazed with the staff member's friendliness, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond. The next time I need a mini vacation, I will definitely be purchasing a night's stay at the BEST WESTERN in MOSCOW Idaho!!!!
The hotel was very accommodating i was there for 10 nights. I was in a regular room and then moved to pool side the pillows seemed more comfortable in the regular room. Breakfast was awesome the pool and hot tub were nice. and the food at the bar was great!
Felt the price was just a bit extreme although it was a game weekend at the University of Idaho. The location is excellent for anyone attending any function on campus. The amenities and decor were excellent.
This hotel raised it's per-night rate from $169 to over $250 for this particular weekend. I understand raising rates for high use weekends, but this is a little extreme in my opinion. The amenities are typical Best Western Plus and the proximity to the campus and restaurants is great.
My oldest daughter started playing volleyball this year so I wanted to show here what the game is like at the college level. I decided on the University Inn basically because of the indoor pool and was not disappointed at all. Check in was quick and easy. There were several rooms available so my daughters picked the second story close to the pool. The building itself is fairly old but has been updated. The room was clean and more than satisfactory. One thing to keep in mind with a room that overlooks the pool, if you like to have a window open for fresh air then these rooms will not work for you. It was not a major issue for us so no big deal. You can open the window but obviously it would smell a little like chlorine! Having a room next to the pool can get a little loud at times but it was mainly kids having a good time so it was not a big deal to us. The pool hours are 8-10 and any noise coming from the pool area ended promptly at 10. Breakfast included a wide variety of items. The eggs, bacon, potatoes and biscuits/gravy were all delicious! The Bill Chipman Palouse Trail is right across the street from the hotel and provided a great place to go for an early morning run. The Palouse Mall is right next door so of course all the ladies had to go shopping! There are plenty of food options within walking distance as well. Another great stay at a Best Western. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.
My family used to stay at this hotel when I was going to Wazzu 30 years ago. Not too much has changed about it, but the staff is great, the location is great, it has a nice indoor pool, and if you want a "full service" type hotel, there is a lounge and restaurant which are OK. They accept dogs which is nice for families traveling with their pets. The room we stayed in a couple years ago had been updated, however, our room this time was a "Suite" and although it was large, the carpet badly needed to be replaced, the furniture was a little funky and it smelled old. Rooms are hard to come by on WSU game weekends, so we were happy to have a room nonetheless! Would stay again - great memories at this oldie but goodie.
After trying 4 different hotels in Moscow we made the decision we will only use University Inn. They are clean, comfortable, close to the University and shopping and the staff is wonderful. While we hate the up and down price changes we understand free enterprise and will pay more only with Best Western. They also have the best breakfast in the area whether your paying or its a part of your stay!!!
Clean room, with up dated rooms. Very nice, very clean. Restaurant is pretty good too, especially with the free drink ticket when you stay Sunday - Thursday. The front of the building is quite nice as well, with a wonderful fire theme.
comfortable beds, great full breakfast. easy to get on the computer the fridge froze our food. When i called about it someone was there within 10 min and fixed it for us and offered to get us anything we lost due to freezing
Quiet, solid place to stay in Moscow. We were with our son and his family and the pool was wonderful and breakfast was the best ever for the grandkids (and the adults too!). Our visit was just an overnighter as we were in town for a wedding.
I liked the size and cleanliness of the hotel room. Very comforatable bed! Helpful staff, too, who handled our late arrival very nicely. The pool looked amazing! Next time I'll bring my swimsuit. The whole area around the pool looked so pretty and inviting. We were most impressed with the guest breakfast. It was the best gust breakfast ever!
Service was great. Rooms could use a little more cleanliness but overall were fine. Easy checkout. Breakfast was good as was selection. Pool was nice, as was the exercise room. Location by grocery stores and restaurants
Although the building is somewhat dated, this hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a little better than the average continental breakfast. The location is convenient to both WSU and UI. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.
The staff at this hotel are friendly, helpful and well trained. The free breakfast is huge with lots of options for those on strict diets. The food at the Season's Restaurant is very good. Room was clean and handicap accessible, which is hard to find for a walk-in shower.
Hotel is quite clean. Continental Breakfast is excellent. All experiences with staff have been wonderful. No problems recommending this hotel. We have stayed here every time we come to Moscow to visit the grandchildren & will continue
I am part of a group that puts on conferences around the state and this hotel is by far the BEST hotel to host a conference. They have great food, great sleeping rooms, great conference rooms, and even better, really wonderful staff.
The BW in Moscow has improved greatly in that past decade. The only place in Moscow, Idaho I will stay. Improvements include the food (breakfast buffet and lounge), guest room decor, quality of bed, and overall hotel decor.
Easily one of the nicer hotels in this area, knew it would be of a higher scale from checking in at the front. I stayed in this hotel when driving there for school and having stayed in now three different places in the area, I will most definitely be returning to this one. Location is great for both U of I students and WSU students, rooms are surprisingly nice, and the food/amenities are fantastic. One of the best stays for the money Ive found, even during the incoming student season. Impressive!
Newly remodeled, very nice room and baths. Late night bar is staffed by excellent staff. Front Desk most helpful with late check out request. Good restaurant on site and many good spots within walking distance (next door shopping center).
I always enjoy staying at this Hotel. They have the Best Staff and Amenities!!! Great Food and very convenient location next to University of Idaho! I would choose this Hotel anytime I come to Moscow, Id.!!!! :)
We always stay at this hotel when visiting our son at UI. The food is good, rooms are clean, and service is great! They have a shuttle that takes tou to the Kibbie Dome, but it's so close we usually walk.
Clean, quiet, friendly staff, great food, reasonable price. Close to other services. Allows pets. Good location between both Universities.Transportation available. Plenty of parking. Nice pool and fitness equipment.
Breakfast was real, hot, well presented food with happy helpers all around and plenty of room. Very welcoming staff. The room we had was very quiet and overlooked a beautiful grass courtyard. This is a lovely facility.
Easy 10 minute drive to golf course. Opened breakfast bar early for the golf team. Great customer service. Courtyard areas are beautiful. Shopping center next door. Lots of parking available. Rooms need to be updated compared to other Best Westerns that I have visited, but the customer service, quiet stay and breakfast makes up the difference. Will stay again.
I had a wonderful experience at the Best Western in Moscow ID. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable and the staff were friendly, kind, accommodating and professional. We arrived at 3 am after a 15 hr+ road trip and I misplaced my wallet in the car. The man who checked us in was professional and good-natured and helped us check-in using other means of confining our identity, which was much appreciated. I loved everything about this BW and wish I could have stayed longer. Great hotel! Highly recommend it if you're in the Moscow ID area.
The staff we encountered were very helpful and offered information we needed. The golf package was excellent as we played 2 nice courses - Palouse Ridge on WSU campus & Univ. of Idaho on campus. Breakfast was good selection of items & quality of. Every item was prepared to our satisfaction.
We have stayed at this Best Western a number of times over the years as we travel to and from family re-unions. Predicatable comfort and convenience! Bed very comfortable and room clean. Good location. Near trail; can walk to U of I campus. And Moscow has great restaurants! ENjoy the outside patio area at the hotel.
Wonderful place in Moscow, ID. Great hot breakfast, restaurant and lounge. Pet friendly. Friendly and professional employees. Very quiet hotel especially at night. Great Parking with roomy parking spaces. Easy to find on Pullman-Moscow Highway. Close to two Universities. Discount for pet going to WSU Vet Hospital.
Reasonable and accommodating for us when dropping off our kid at UofI. It's a bit old, but I like how spacious the hotel is in general. Such as a large indoor pool that felt both indoor/outdoor due to the sunroof ceiling, and a large quad in the center of the buildings for hanging out and visiting. It's my go-to when visit UofI.
We like to stay here when in the area for WSU events. It's very clean, comfortable and friendly. The location is also great. With 2 kids at WSU we can pick up whatever we need nearby before driving the short hop to Pullman.
The experience started with a problem with our reservation, which resulted in a trip down to Lewiston. This is a old tired Best western which needs updating. The carpet is 10 years past time updating! The breakfast area is very congested but the coffee is GOOD. The staff was great through out. The big problem is everyday we had to have our keys rekeyed!! Two different staffers admitted there is a problem!! Poor poor poor
Very clean, easy access, pet friendly (including dog treats), friendly staff and the food was good. It's close enough to WSU (10 minute drive) and U of I is right across the street. Everything is cheaper in Idaho too! No complaints.
Consistently great with wonderful staff. Have been staying at this hotel since early 2008 and have never once had a problem. Thank you Best Weatern University Inn, Moscow! The staff go out of their way every time to crown their guests with exceptional customer service and care.
Very nice place. Well kept and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with outstanding service. Good food and staff keeps everything filled and moving along. We try to stay every time we are in the area.
This is our go to property for University events in Moscow. They always provide excellent service with a smile. The good size rooms are insulated well, so you don't hear guests in adjoining rooms. The comfortable beds provide a good nights sleep. It is located across the street from a shopping mall that has a grocery store and several places to eat. Highly recommend this Best Western.
We stayed here four years ago, and the review I wrote then is all still true: great service by friendly people, extreme cleanliness, beautiful grounds, good breakfast, and super-quiet!. One difference--the bedding has been upgraded to triple-sheeting, and the bedspreads are gone. We will be back!
Great hotel. Across from the University of Idaho. Thus it is called the University Inn. Gourmet breakfast. Large banquet rooms. The room we had was a bit lacking in space to put things in the bathroom. No vanity table or counter space to work with. Huge sink that extended toward you. Large enough to probably wash your hair in. But again, no counter to work with. We only had a queen bed at our choosing. More snuggly that way. Rest of the room was nice enough.
This is one of the better Best Westerns. For conferences it is better than average. The breakfast is very good. Some of the basics in the room needed attention such as loose fitting electrical plugs, and an AC compressor that was louder than a steam engine.
I hesitate telling other how wonderful I think this hotel is because I want to keep it to myself. We were in Moscow for college tours of University of Idaho and WSU. We were treated amazing at check in and even given a coupon for a free drink (much needed after all of our traveling). The room was clean and adequately sized. The breakfast that came with the stay was very good. This hotel is centrally located to all that we needed/wanted to do and see.
University Inn is the place to stay when visiting Moscow. Over the years, our family has always stayed at this hotel and we loved it, so I was a little apprehensive about their recent remodel. I needn't have worried, it's still a great place to stay, just upgraded! The rooms surround a beautifully landscaped lawn. The restaurant/bar is excellent and you just walk across the lawn to get there! They also have a buffet breakfast.
Excellent service, food, and clean comfortable room for reasonable price. Staff is friendly and helpful, yet professional. Complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've had. I will stay there again when visiting Pullman.
We were in Moscow for college tours, and I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. They offer really great perks (coupons for free drinks, great restaurant, and excellent staff), and the rates were absolutely great. Wish that I saw this kind of service and place in the more expensive hotels we usually choose!
This is a great hotel. In-house restaurant provides room service and a great breakfast. Layout is great for pets. Lobby has been re-done and so have the rooms recently. Great beds, bathrooms could use some love, but hey no one is perfect!
Very nice, breakfast was way above average. Location was right on the road to Pullman. Restaurant was very nice with reasonable prices. Pool was also very nice. Grounds where well keep. Staff was very helpful and accommodated our large wedding group.
Small but decent 24-hour gym, fridge (no freezer) & microwave in room. Clean rooms with friendly people and good service. The pool is indoors and the property includes a restaurant (where the free and decent breakfast is served) and a separate bar.
We booked this hotel as part of a package for a wedding. The staff was friendly, helpful and caring. They all seemed to really care about engaging with guests and took care off all of our needs. The lounge had late hours and served a full menu with very tasty food with decent prices. Check in and out was quick. We used their shuttle and they were prompt and had good drivers.
This is a very much older and out of date property. I was told the rooms had been renovated when I checked in, but when I got to the room I was struck by the fact that the window had lost its seal and was so fogged up a person couldn't see outside! It felt like a cheap trailer. When I checked back with the desk I was told the windows had not been replaced so there was not a better room available. That I guess also applied to the fact that mold was starting to grow around the bathtub. Because the building is so out of date, with fake cement thin bricks and strange ceiling panels, I dont think this will ever become anything other than a tired hotel choice. The courtyard is dry and extremely hot. The pool is a small indoor pool, fairly typical of Best Western, but it would be nice if it at least opened onto the courtyard. The AC units smelled funky when it was turned on, a bit like gym socks, and was noticeable enough I wondered if it was unhealthy for us to breath the air all night...Staff was friendly. Someone chose the venue for their wedding.
This hotel was clean, comfortable with great and friendly staff. It's location was perfect for the reason we were visiting as it was right across the street from the University of Idaho. I made reservations to stay again in about a month!
Check in was a breeze. Staff was very helpful and responsive when we needed extra pillows and batteries for the tv remote. Room was very clean. Was pleasantly surprised by the extra deep bathtub! My only complaint was that our room had a very strong chlorine smell because it had a door that led directly into the indoor pool. The pool and hot tub were quite pleasant.
very clean, great pool and spa, breakfast is very good with lots of options. If you need to be close to the University of Idaho as well as WSU this is in a great location. the restaurant and bar is very nice with plenty of options with good prices.
This was a great hotel to stay at. The moment you walked in you were welcomed and felt appreciated your were staying. Alana great us and explained the hotel. Our room was clean and very roomy. The bed was also very comfortable. The shower was a walkin with plenty of hot water. We ate at the "Seasons" a restaurant in the hotel and it was also very good. The food and service was very good. The checkout process was very easy.
Clean and very professional and outgoing staff. The restaurnat and lunge were very good. Stayed here several times in the past several years and have had a very good experience. Very good breakfast selections and atmosphere. Worth the price.
Close to University of Idaho. Easy walking distance to the Kibbie Dome and north side of campus. Hotel rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. Great support by staff. Good breakfast. Road in from of hotel is a bit busy.
We, my spouse and I, were in your hotel for two days and nights to celebrate my 60th high school class reunion. Your hotel staff and facilities are top drawer and a pleasure to be a part of for a couple of days. Thank you.
This is a great place to stay whether you're a family on a vacation, visiting the university or for a conference. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is also probably the cleanest hotel I have EVER stayed at. I never say a full garbage can or a thing out of place. The BW also has a great bar and restaurant with a nice outdoor patio. The rooms are very nice with a good sized fridge in each. The WIFI is also fast and connects easily.
Seasons lounge has THE best bartender! She is very personable and eager to interact with customers and her service is prompt and accurately! Linda is a big reason that I continue to return! Irreplaceable!
The staff and service was excellent. The breakfast was great, good selection, plenty of options for sensitive diets. I enjoyed that it was close to town and campus so I could walk instead of driving. The rooms were clean and the space for the conference was easy to access.
Best Western usually is the lower cost motel with a high rating. Always clean with friendly service. Acquire point toward free rooms. Warm breakfast in the morning. The Best Western Plus even updated their in-room coffee maker to Kurig.
Amazing and friendly staff both at check-in and check-out. Always willing to lend a hand and answer any questions that I my have. Willing to go the extra mile to make sure my stay is one filled with comfort and relaxation. Highly recommend for business trips or for personal vacation.
Best place in town for business and family travel. Full service restaurant and lounge. The kids love the indoor pool and the staff is very friendly. the free breakfast bar is well maintained and has a very attentive staff.
My daughter was moving to an apartment that she is renting from a friend for the summer. Her and my wife were staying with another friend but no air conditioning. They stayed at the Best Western for the beds which are comfortable. The air conditioning works great. The staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and restaurant is great. Best steaks in Moscow
i enjoy this hotel. nice location & love the breakfast. nice lounge to go to & good meeting rooms to rent. it's a great value. A+ the room was nice with good amenities & a nice television. we love staying there when we go to Pullman.
Hotel was amazing! They helped get my company set up on direct billing, gave us amazing rates, and provided the best service/ amenities in comparison to other hotels we have stayed. My employees have requested that this be the place we stay when doing jobs in this area!
For a small town it was a nice hotel. Clean and breakfast was very good. Fitness is on the small side but enough to get it done. Staff was friendly and personable. Pool was nice and close to college where we were visiting
Great staff that goes over and above. Clean comfortable rooms. Located in a place that is convenient to Idaho State University as well as other down town attractions. Family oriented, friendly and welcoming.
The staff were all very friendly and responsive. The breakfast buffet had great quality, a nice selection of items, and there was always a friendly staffer present. The room was clean, everything worked (well, we didn't test the TV, but everything else workes). The bed was super comfortable. The only downside was the texture and colors of the interior walls felt pretty industrial or at least institional. Maybe like a correctional institution!
Still the best hotel in Moscow. Pricey during big events but great restaurant and bar. The only one like it in all of the Palouse. Friendly staff. And a van to the PUW airport. There are now more choices in Moscow that will hopefully add some much needed competition to benefit the consumer.
Stayed for our Son's Graduation and the hotel was very nice. The lobby was welcoming and had a fireplace going as it was a chilly weekend, so it was a nice cozy touch. The staff was very courteous and professional. The rooms were clean and roomy and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and it was very good quality. Kudos to the staff for keeping it stocked and hot on such a busy weekend. They were also very courteous and professional. I would stay here again just for the breakfast alone as you get a lot of choices and it is way better than other hotels in the area. The value for the price was an exorbitant amount charged for a graduation weekend. It was extreme to say the least to pay over $600 for 2 nights including taxes. Gouging people at a time when they are supposed to be celebrating is truly awful and not very professional. Unfortunately the prices were similar at all the area hotels for graduation weekend, so it wasn't like we had a choice to stay for cheaper elsewhere. They also book out for graduation weekend, so book early if you stay that weekend, at least a year in advance. Otherwise, to stay at any other time, during normal rates I would highly recommend!!
The Best Western University Inn Moscow Idaho is clean and comfortable. The desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff are friendly and efficient. The included breakfast is very nice and has a variety of offerings including scrambled eggs and bacon. The rooms are very nice and the plumbing and drains and TV work. My daughter's family also enjoyed the pool.
We have stayed at this BW property before and found it to be a well run operation. The stay this time was just as successful in meeting our expectations and I would recommend the hotel to anyone else looking to stay in the community. The trip was for the WSU graduation ceremony to see our nephew receive his diploma and celebrate his success, and the staff at the hotel helped in our fun weekend enjoyment.
This hotel is fabulous with wonderful, caring and gracious employees! I had a flight cancel on me and they graciously refunded me for the night I was not there. Thank you Maddie and Sean!!!! I was very grateful and Maddie even let me sit at her table for a great comedy night they had at the hotel. Loved it!!!
We booked our room for WSU graduation weekend. They DOUBLE the price of the rooms for this weekend, and you have to stay two nights! I paid Marriott prices and got an older Best Western room. The staff was pleasant. You have to ask for more than 2 towels in your King room. One of our glasses was dirty. Just an average room. The breakfast buffet was above average with real scrambled eggs and a nice selection of foods.
This hotel was great. Nice layout with open central area. The morning breakfast was excellent and the free drink was great as well. Has a nice enclosed pool and hot tub to relax in. When in the Moscow area, I would recommend this hotel!
I always love when i can stay there. The rooms are clean and the staff is great. Breakfast is a good thing with the variety so you are not just stuck with muffins and oatmeal. Waffels, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal. The bar/resteraunt is good. The food is great and so is Linda. She is a peach. Thanks Linda you deserve a raise
Had a fun day, visiting my daughter. Toured the town, shopped and just walked. Went to the restaurant seasons. Good food. And went to the hot tub. Then watched a movie in the room, till we fell asleep. There was kind of a musty odor in the room. So we opened the window and it was ok.
Our room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were nice. The bathroom was stocked with super clean and fluffy towels. The restaurant on the property offers a varied menu and the food was great. The complementary breakfast is the best I've experienced. Chef prepared buffet.
Super nice employees; room is clean; breakfast is OK; check-in & out is very easy; free Internet service has very decent connection speed; good location to where I need to be; a few dining options nearby.
We have stayed at this hotel nearly 20 nights over the last 3 years. It is always quiet. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant has good food too. It is conveniently located too.
Our stay was so wonderful. The hotel was great, the staff was kind and helpful. My family had a lot of fun when we went swimming. It was a great experience overall. This is the only hotel we will book any future reservations with.
I stay frequently in Moscow (2 kids in college there) & am always pleased with this B.W. I will be going AGAIN next 2 weekend & great breakfast & lounge menu! Group discount for our lacrosse team really helps also!
Hard to beat the convenience of being the in hotel where conference activity takes place. We have stayed here twice for the same conference and breakfast is still cold due to too many people overwhelming staff, pool doesn't open until 8 am ---way too late to make it to work. On the plus side, hotel is quiet, clean and staff very helpful.
Better than expected. The rooms were clean, staff were truly helpful. Came to watch university lacrosse game and location was most convenient. Breakfast options pleased everyone in the family so no arguments.
We stayed 2 nights with a convention. The room was a good size. It had a microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker. The fridge was very quiet. It didn't wake me up at all. The room was very clean and didn't have any odor. The room was quiet. I didn't hear anyone next door or above. The breakfast was more than expected. There were hot scrambled eggs, potatoes, and bacon along with yogurt, cereal, waffles, toast, fresh fruit and yogurt. The front desk was helpful. The meals served to us as convention attendees were good although we didn't eat in the restaurant. There is a grocery store right across the street which is handy for any forgotten items. We'd be happy to stay here again.
Really enjoyed our stay since we decided to stay in Moscow last minute after driving our son back to school from our Seattle holiday travel. We will stay here the next time we visit our son at school.
great staff very frindly Great location clean rooms Could not be happier Breakfast was great quality scrambled eggs You can't make a better choice in Moscow I would definitely stay again and again Love it
I have not been to Moscow in a long time and I was pleasantly surprised by the renovated BWI! My King room was nice, clean and well appointed. I was pleased to have a Keurig in room and free breakfast. As I arrived on a Thursday, the property offered a free beverage in Seasons for weekday travelers. Nice!
Came back to Alma Mater and stayed here. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean and amenities in great shape. Bed soft and room was quiet Lounge was busy with attentive wait staff and tons of TVs with football. Close to campus and the mall
Breakfast has great variety. Fresh fruit was great. Restaurant has great food. Staff goes out of their way to assist with anything. The bed was a little worn and not the most comfortable. Bath water was warm even in the evening which is not always the case at motels.
I have stayed here many times over the years. They have an excellent breakfast, it is a full breakfast, the salsa they serve is excellent, you would think it is house made. They also have a really nice pool area that is indoor with a large pool, hot tub and sauna.
Very warm environment and satisfying hotel. I highly recommend to stay in this hotel. The staff are very accommodating. The service is very satisfying. I would love to stay here again. Internet service is fast. Lounge is relaxing.
I stayed at this location for 3 weeks and was very comfortable there. They have a breakfast every morning as well as cookies every afternoon! The food in the lounge is surprisingly good and reasonably priced. I would recommend.
Best Western University Inn has helpful staff, good food, good restaurant and catering. The room is comfortable and internet speed is good. Hotel interior is outdated but pleasant experience nonetheless.
When on a recent visit to see our Granddaughter at WSU we stay at this BW. We had stayed in the town of Pullman in the past but with further research I found this hotel; read the reviews and thought why not. It lived up to all our expectations and more. The room was clean and spacious; the breakfast served daily was above average with lots of choices and nicely staffed. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. Long after we left I realized I had left something in the room and we were too far into our 1900+ mile trip home to turn around. I called the hotel (they had already called my home saying they had the item) and arrangements were made to have it mailed back to me. An honest housekeeping staff and a helpful front desk staff as well. We will definitely stay in this hotel again and have already recommended it to the rest of our family as being the best option when they find themselves there for a visit to our WSU student.
This is the best place to stay in Moscow, Idaho. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The service is excellent. Has a nice bar and lounge on premises. They also serve a free full breakfast buffet in the morning. It is handy to the University and downtown. We will stay there whenever we are in Moscow.
Quiet, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently located near the University of Idaho and has a nice bar and restaurant. Prices are a little high but are very much in line for the market the hotel is in. (Too few rooms available for UI and WSU event weekends)
This was a clean, comfortable stay with good food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location across from campus. Our bathroom was spotless and beds were definitely clean. Didn't use the pool. The workout room was dated and the weight machine needs to be replaced. Will stay here again, despite the fitness facility.
Very impressed with this hotel. Although the building is old, the rooms looked renovated and everything looked new and clean. Hot breakfast, clean room, and nice staff. Would certainly stay here again.
We are on a 2 week road trip. After looking at the hotels to choose from we picked Best Western Plus. Huge hotel with many facilities, very nice size room, super clean and quiet. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Loved that BW has a washer/dryer on site. Would highly recommend this hotel and know we will stay at a Best Western again.
This hotel provided great service and a comfortable room when we were in town visiting the University of Idaho. Very convenient to the campus and centrally located for other amenities. Complementary breakfast was super - more than a simple continental breakfast - Eggs, bacon, breakfast burritos and hot oatmeal. fruit, etc.
Moscow is a beautiful town and this Best Western will make sure that you are rested and ready to visit! The complimentary breakfast is VERY good, and the hotel restaurant (Seasons Public House) has REALLY good food. The hotel is clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The staff is the best part; so very helpful and friendly. When I return to Moscow, I'm staying here!
Our stay here at Moscow Idaho BW has always been enjoyable. We like the Best Western Hotels so much that we now request to stay at a BW for business. This place has a swimming pool, hot tub, saunna, excercise room and restraunt. We also really enjoy the hot breakfast too.
We've stayed at this Motel a couple times, and each time we've had a wonderful experience. The staff is great, the cleaners are great, the location is great, the breakfast is great. The price is very good - and we had a bigger room than we had anticipated. Soundproofing was pretty good, too.
Don't be food by the endless concrete decor this is a great BW. Has all the amenities of a nicer hotel including big pool, hot tub and sauna. On site restaurant and bar has great food and endless drink options. While the concrete walls may. E a turn of for some it actually helps with sound between rooms. Recently updated rooms are comfortable and well attended to. Adjacent to many other restaraunt a and University of Idaho and WSU makes traveling for work or a football game a no brainer.
Great place to stay, glad we spent the night there. Clean, great staff, good food. I would anyone looking at staying at this hotel would be a great choice! You will enjoy your stay here! Happy times in Moscow Id!
Perfect place to stay to visit our new Vandal. We'll return for the location, facilities, food and staff. The breakfast offered hot and cold cereals, fresh waffles, fresh fruit, muffins, bagels and all kinds of condiments. Nothing unusual, just they have it all.
This is a university town so be prepared to pay $200+ a night during athletic and other special events. The motel is located on the main arterial highway that runs between the towns of Pullman, WA and Moscow, ID. The pros: The rooms are clean and well maintained. The beds are quite comfortable and the complementary breakfast is provided with a good assortment of items to chose from. Checking in and out was simple and fast. The cons: There is a swimming pool located in the inner court which is surrounded by rooms on both floors. I graded this motel down because of this unfortunate design. The desk clerk assigned us a room overlooking the pool. First moment through the door the strong odor of chlorine from the pool hits you in the face like a wet sock and the screaming children in the water could be heard even with the windows closed. Fortunately we were able to transfer to another room on the opposite side of the building away from the stench and noise. It's a nice motel overall, but strongly suggest making sure you get a room away from the pool unless you enjoy that sort of thing.
Stayed here for football game as it is right across from campus. Very nice facility with friendly staff. The pre-game festivities were held out in their courtyard area which was very comfortable. Nice rooms, would definitely stay there again if ever in Moscow.
when we arrived to check in was told our rooms had been cancelled. i was told i never answered an e mail that was sent to me. i never the e mail. then the said that the had sent a letter to me. then i was told they may not have sent the letter. my son checked my e mail messages' from april to sept and i never received one from the best western so we never stayed in your hotel. very disappointed staff very unfriendly
There is usually plenty of room for us to stay on a last last minute schedule. The breakfast is always well stocked with a food variety of hot and cold options. This time we had dinner at Seasons on premise and were pleased with the quality of the ribeye our son ordered and the Maifun salad was wonderful. The chili was the only disappointment as it was dry and seemed to come from a can.
We stayed in numerous hotels and resorts during a recent trip through Idaho and Montana. This Best Western was one of the best. The room was clean and well-maintained and the staff was very pleasant and acknowledged you when you walked by, even the housekeeping staff! It's nice to see that. They are well-trained! The check-in was very efficient and pleasant. Check out was very quick too. Breakfast is very expensive - one of the better breakfast I've seen complementary at a motel. If our son decides to go to the University of Idaho I'm sure we will return.
Great hotel with great service and amenities! Comfortable and clean rooms. I would have loved an outdoor pool but the lounge chairs were great outside! The breakfast was good with many options to choose from. I would stay here again.
The Best Western Plus University Inn, Moscow is a super, great place to stay. Fun indoor pool and hot tub! Pretty courtyard! RIght near the Pullman/Moscow trail for biking and running and The University of Idaho. Don't forget to go to the farmers market downtown!
They charged an extra high premium price because they could get away with it when both UI and WSU had home games. Both visiting teams stayed at this hotel. I would rate it higher if the price were lower. For such a premium price, EVERYTHING should be superior. One day in the workout room, there was no drinking water and not enough towels. I shouldn't have to call to ask for them. We were unaware that the temperature on the fridge in our room was set to max, and the control dial is on the outside back of the fridge so not easily seen or accessible. The fridge froze and ruined some of our food. It would be nice to have a TV guide or a reference to a website that shows what is currently airing on the TV channels you offer. You do provide a superior breakfast, and the staff was all very accommodating and friendly. The carpet on the floor of the room looks dirty, but otherwise the room was nice.
Stayed here after a WSU football game. Room was pretty standard but very clean, with good sized bathroom. Pool was awesome with hot tub and sauna. Complementary breakfast was amazing. Nice variety of breakfast foods and the bacon was exceptional! Staff were very friendly and the warm cookies in the lobby appreciated. Great service with room service too. Overall a very positive experience!
My wife and I were needing a room for two days between our scheduled meetings in Cour d'Alene, ID and Lewiston, ID. We decided to stay in Moscow, ID for the down time. We arrived around 2 pm, and I stopped and asked about checking in early. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, and had no problem allowing us to check in two hours early! While chatting with the front desk staff - my occupation became the topic. Mr Nelson (manager on duty) upgraded my room (it was perfect! When I am wealthy I will request that room again!) and gave us vouchers for items in the lounge! We were stunned by this incredible act of kindness! THANK YOU, Mr Nelson and staff, for such a delightful time in Moscow, ID! It was a fabulous room, and we so enjoyed meeting you, and the amazing staff that work with you!
I almost cancelled my reservations to stay at another hotel because a family member was staying there, but I'm so glad I didn't. Everything about our stay was excellent. The front desk staff was friendly. The bartender poured generously. The room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. The pool was lovely. The breakfast was delicious. The location was close to campus for my nostalgia filled walk. And my family member staying at her preferred brand? Will be staying here next time she's in town.
This hotel I choose because of the reviews and location distance to WSU in Pullman, WA. The reviews were correct about the service and quality of this hotel. I was not disappointed and all the employee's were every polite. The food and services were excellent and the hotel overall was very clean. I will definitely use this hotel again.
Almost everything about this hotel was good. My husband and I stayed for 5 nights with a play and stay package deal. Employees were friendly and helpful. Each night we were given complimentary drinks at the restaurant. We didn't use, but there are a swimming pool and a hot-tub as well as an exercise room. The only complain that we have was their breakfast for a few mornings. There wasn't enough plates nor food at one point.
This is our go to hotel when we pass through Moscow. We love how it is conveniently located, the beds and room are clean and comfortable and quiet too. We can have breakfast and enjoy a leisurely weekend without stress of chasing around until after noon.
BW booked 5 courses for us and we stayed 5 nights. Package deal. Very helpful in making changes and answering questions etc. Moscow Id/Pullman Wa are small towns so a very friendly summer atmosphere. Seems like most everyone in town attended either WSU or U of I and our stay was Aug 17 - 22 so lots of students returning to school. A great feeling around the hotel and the campuses. BW a great and convenient place to stay for either campus. Golf - Circling Raven, Palouse Ridge, Lewiston GC all challenging and enjoyable. Will be back.
From the moment you check in, they take care of you. The rooms are clean and inviting, the beds & linens are top quality, the pool and exercise area clean and well maintained and the breakfast is better than anyplace else. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, from Nelson at the front desk to the staff in the breakfast area or housekeeping. I would highly recommend the University Inn.
everything was good. have stayed at this hotel a lot since my daughter decided to go to University of Idaho. the staff is always helpful. the rooms are great. They always are helpful with finding a boarding kennel for our dog when we have to meet our daughter at the college. Also helped find another hotel once when we had to stay longer than planned. That was a great help. Its right across from the college so you can walk to campus if you want.
If your looking for a Fantastic Hotel in Moscow, Id. The Best Western University Inn is the Very Best. Great Restaurant, Nice Rooms, Friendly Staff and Nice Hot tub and Pool. I definately will recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in the Moscow Area.
This is a very nice hotel with great staff, had a very good, hot breakfast, and was right next to the shopping mall and easy access to the university. Everything was clean and the internet service worked well for me.
Best Best Western ever!! Loved the hotel, staff and service and will stay again if ever in the same area. The barmaid, Linda, really had us laughing and enjoying ourselves along with giving us fantastic service. Allison was our waitress and provided us excellent service.
The staff is like no other. They are friendly, courteous, and efficient. The hotel is well maintained and modern. Highly recommend when visiting Pullman or Moscow. There are many other housing options in the area, but I always stay here unless they are booked. New and improved restaurant menu selections with new items added throughout the year.
Room were great. Service was excellent. Prime rib special + $18 was really good and a bargain. The best breakfast yet. Pool area very inviting Gas station/food mart about 50 yards from front of hotel....very convenient
We tried Best Western for the first time after staying at other locations in Moscow. I was really impressed with our stay and will choose this hotel first in the future. Checkin was great and the staff were really helpful and polite. The restaurant is nice and the grounds are well maintained. The hotel is dated, however it's very clean and comfortable. The price is worth what you get!!
The customer service at this hotel is equal to a 5 Star Resort. They really make you feel like you are their favorite guest. We were there for a high school reunion but frequently stay during football season as our son plays for the University of Idaho. It is our first choice for service, amenities, location and price.
Could use larger pillows or have extra ones in the room. Otherwise room was great. I have stayed here before and would do it again. Nice Breakfast, the staff went around asking people if they had enough or would like anything else before the closed it down. Nice pool
Everything is top-notch about this hotel--the premier place to stay in Moscow. The rooms are clean, breakfast is delicious and bountiful, staff are extremely professional. Like any college town, hotel rates are inflated but this is well worth it!
Was very impressed with the motel. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Cost of goods, beverage and food were reasonable. The room was very nice and the meeting rooms nice. the area is very nice and the drive through eastern Washington was pleasant. Had some vehicle trouble when we got there and the front desk staff was very helpful with in getting me to a very qualified and friendly mechanic. I would definitely stay there again.
This hotel is located directly across from the University of Idaho entrance. It is not only convenient it is a nice place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and the facility is clean. A buffet breakfast is included. We stayed 2 nights. The first morning breakfast was just ok as it was lukewarm. The second morning everything was piping hot. It was nice that there were real plates and silverware and several staff to make sure everything was ok. My only comment is that breakfast was the exact same both mornings.
Everything was set up the way we had asked in our conference room and we had no issues whatsoever. The rooms were lovely, the bar/lounge had great service and drinks. Overall really pleased with the experience.
This hotel is wonderful! The property, rooms, pool/spa, fitness center and restaurant are great. The staff is extremely friendly and go above and beyond to assist to your every need. They also have one of the best hot breakfasts we have had at any BW Plus hotel! We travel on motorcycles and this is a must stay for those travelling on two wheels!
We stayed here for our anniversary, and we had an amazing time in just the one day we stayed. The pool was perfect temperature, hot tub & sauna, fun white bath robes, hotel was very clean, and perfect landscaping. You can tell how much they care about providing a good experience. They upgraded us to a suite for free! We had excellent service at Seasons that night by... was her name Allison? (She had long blonde hair and was working the night of July 5th). I had somewhat low expectations for the food because I've cooked at one of the nicest restaurants in town, but I was pleasantly surprised. The steak was a true medium-rare, the crab legs were hot and served beautifully, the timing was quick, and the desserts were decadent and beautifully presented. Everything about this experience was excellent. We truly felt like we escaped from town and the University, and wish we could have planned to stay another day! We will definitely be staying there again sometime. Maybe for my birthday? :-) Also, plenty of towels were provided, the travel-size hair products were Pantene brand, the room smelled very clean, and the bed was SO comfortable! Thank you Best Western for an amazing 2-year anniversary!
Great service and huge guest rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options. We will be choosing this location again for our business needs.
I was in Moscow for the week, but unexpectedly needed to stay overnight on Saturday. Rates were higher, hotels were expectedly full, options were few. Kamilla was working at the front desk when I asked for options for a night's stay. I explained my situation and she could not have been more incredibly helpful and kind. Thank you so much! It meant the world and I can't thank you enough!
Both trips to this hotel we stayed in Handicap rooms, not by choice. Don't mind the label on these rooms neither my wife or I are handicap. The carpets were dirty with many stains . There were also stains on the headboards were past occupants.... Maybe the hotel does not see handicap as most.
Clean and quality hotel. Highly recommend from my experience staying here. Rooms were clean. Amenities up to date. Included breakfast was excellent and the quality was up there compared with normal breakfast restaurants.
This hotel was very clean and pleasant to stay at. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The interior of the room was great and the beds were comfortable. Also, the pool area was very nice. I'd stay here again if I was ever in the area and will recommend it to anyone else staying in the area.
We came to Moscow for our daughter's soccer tournament, and were very happy with our accommodations. The room was clean, and drink staff were friendly after the games! there is a grassed inner-space to the hotel which is a nice spot to relax and have supper. also really liked how close the hotel is to shopping for snacks and beverages.
Clean facility and hotel/bar staff were very accommodating. Location was good, close to many shops, restaurants and events. Plenty of parking. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They were willing to go out of the way to accommodate special requests from our group. Very good facility for group/team events.
Package excellent, breakfast great our room was next to pool and spa so the chlorine smell was not good. Also spa was cold and not hot. Service friendly and food was great, elevator was slow however only two floors, Parking spaces were wide so easy to park. Location next to shopping center and was nice to have microwave and small frig.
The hotel is well put together, the rooms are very clean, and worked. It's a little pricier - not that I expect to pay Motel 6 prices and a nicer place, but in all honesty I felt like all I really got that stood out was a wonderful breakfast (much better than the "hot breakfast" at other chains). Worth the difference? I've yet to decide for sure, but I will most likely stay here again when the need arises.
Best Western always provides an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was good as usual. Only disappointments were lake of Root Sports on the room TV, the bathroom needed an exhaust fan and the pillows were way to soft.
First time in Moscow/Pullman area for son's baseball tournament. Excellent hotel with great and friendly service! Rooms were updated and comfortable and free breakfast was really good too. Location was right next to mall and grocery store. In room microwave and fridge was nice to have. One of the best hotels we've stayed at!
Near the University, next to shopping center with a big grocery store and a great restaurant. Large comfortable room with good lighting, good internet and a nice breakfast. We like to make our own coffee and have breakfast in the room, so a tray would have been helpful. I used the small tray placed under the coffee maker (why, o why, does anybody put the coffee maker in the bathroom?). I had to make two or three trip to the breakfast room, but I needed the exercise.
Great hotel. Outstanding breakfast. Had fun playing Trivia in the Lounge. Visited during a conference. Outstanding service from all staff. One member in our group cut himself and the front desk provided first aid. Looking forward to coming here again.
Most friendly, most efficient and *happiest* staff I've ever come across. Clean spacious rooms, great water pressure, nice view of the courtyard from the window. Good food at the restaurant, at reasonable prices. Terrific hot breakfast buffet. Indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, wading pool and gym. And did I mention the staff?
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Bed was comfortable. They offered an omelette bar at breakfast along with the usual offerings. Very enjoyable experience.
The hotel is close to everything. I have to say this hotel is the best i have been in as far as staff, cleanliness, food and the beds are fantastic. The rooms we had adjoined one another so my sister and i could visit easily through the side doors. Basically a suite. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I will only stay at Best Western Plus University Inn when i come to see my relatives here in Idaho.
Came to Moscow Idaho to attend great nephews graduation being held at the Idaho University right across the street. The room, beds and food were excellent. The best I have ever had in a best western hotel. We had a slight medical emergency with my brother in-law at the previous hotel we were coming from. The two young men at the front desk of Best Western Plus University Inn went above and beyond to help get my sister into her room early so we could transfer her husband from one hotel to this hotel with little stress to all of us. The staff are outstanding. Great place to stay
This hotel was great. The rooms where very nice and did not hear any noise during our stay. They have a lovely pool as well. The free breakfast in the morning was right on. The best we have had in our travels. They offered amazing scrambles eggs (the real fresh kind) pan fried potatoes, waffles, cereal, yogurt and a really nice fresh fruit platter as well. They had staff ready to remove your plates and offer anything else you might want. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Really nice!
Conference was at BW University Inn. Ideal facilities for the conference. I was not aware at check in that my room was the most distant from the conference facilities. If I had realised that I would have asked for a closer room because of my age (85 years old). Probably out of your control but I found the dish choices at the evening meal to be limited.
Everything was perfect with this stay. It was a last minute need to arrange a stay and this hotel filled the need. It was clean, full service and staff was amazing. Would stay there again and again. Free breakfast and breakfast room was more than adequate.
Quiet, convenient and hospitable. Standard King room is not terribly spacious, but perfectly adequate. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle free. Housekeeping was excellent and friendly. As motel free breakfasts go, this was hands down the best I have found.
We've stayed here before. It was good. Slept well. Breakfast was good also. I think the price is a little high for the room. For the most part it's a decent place to stay and we'll be back. Location is food also.
We came in for the Idaho State Elks Convention. Nathan reserved our and made every effort to ensure our accommodation was perfect. The rooms are large, with everything needed. Room service was promo, paying attention to details. All of ythe staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was great. The only problems were the lift in the pool for disabled guests wasn't operational. That prevented my friend from enjoying the hot tub.
Everyone at this hotel was kind and smiling. We had great food in the restaurant and the room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was good and the staff in that area were on it, refilling and making sure everyone was taken care of. We didn't use the gym or the pool, but both areas appeared clean and nice. I would definitely stay again.
I was impressed that the hotel had a restaurant in addition to the breakfast room. Also, there was a section to purchase snacks, etc. The internet worked very well. I only stayed one night so didn't experience many of the amenities, but everything looked great.
Great hotel for touring Idaho and all it offers. Across from the U. of Idaho. Moscow is a small town with lots of things to do. Farming and rail transport are part of the history in this area and everyone should visit just once.
We stayed overnight prior to a soccer camp for the two teen girls I was travelling with. The lobby and front desk area when arriving were very nice ... well laid out, and looked spacious and fresh. Our room was on the lower level at the back of the building so noise levels were low, but you could hear hall traffic quite easily in the rooms. The rooms themselves were nothing special -- comfy beds, a bit more cramped for space than other hotels I have stayed in with similar rooms, and the room just felt a bit dated. Don't plan on a bath as the tubs are small, but the showers are fine with tonnes of hot water. Didn't get a chance to try out the pool area. The breakfast was a great selection with ample supply of everything ... each of use was able to find a great breakfast. That said, and although the property was nice, it wasn't anything special, and felt there may have been better values out there. Would I stay again? Maybe.
We were very pleased with the hotel. It is centrally located. We were there for a convention, and they did a good job of accommodating us. The only complaint I have is that the "open bar" at the events charged more than the on-location bar for drinks.
Everyone I encountered from check-in to meals to the bar to the maid service went the extra mile to make my stay comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is clean, modern and quiet. The breakfast is fine for a hotel of this type and the indoor pool/gym facility wa smuch appreciated. Parking is a breeze in the large parking lot and the University of Idaho is right across the street making for an easy walk.
We stayed at this hotel each time we came to Moscow. This time, the ad indicated that it was recently updated. Unclear what was updated, but it was not our room. Carpet was worn throughout the room. Bathroom was dirty. Bowl stains were horrible. Counter was old/worn and stained and finishes looked worn. Room had a closed up smell to it, and the pillows smelled like feet. They immediately changed our pillows, but the new replacements smelled just as bad.
This 1970's classic is clean, modern, roomy, and functional. Staff was enthusiastic and solutions oriented. Big pool / hot tub / sauna area, a rarity these days, is updated and CLEAN. Across the street from the school, next to all your basic corporate comforts, blocks from quaint downtown Moscow.
Stayed here for an extended period of time as my pet was being treated at the WSU animal hospital. The staff were extremely friendly and asked about my pet frequently. The provided amenities, in particular the daily breakfast which was tasty and filling, made the stay that much easier.
I really like this Hotel, the staff is friendly and they have all that my family wants/needs for a relaxing time; swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, restraunt and more. Even though I was dissappointed at the reservation desk for double booking my room and my family having to stay at smaller room thier service of the remainder staff made my stay enjoyable.
I attended a conference at this hotel; and the staff was excellent. It's a clean, well managed hotel with wife, workout room and easy access in and out of town. It's nearby restaurants, shops and you can rent bikes from the hotel lobby; with near by bike trails.
We began planning this event over a year ago. Sales/catering staff were very flexible with our ever changing needs. We had 160 attendees at the Symposium. The service, venue, and amenities were excellent.
Room price jacked up because of demand. Rooms were sold out for the graduation at Washington State University. We got there early, and surprisingly did not have to wait long from our room. Food in bar was excellent and not over priced. Room was large for a hotel and exceedingly noiseless. Fairly long walk to car parking area. There was little or no area for pets to relieve themselves. We had our service dog with us and had no problems with anything in that area. There is a nice indoor pool which we did not use, but it was very nice indeed.
I was recently in Moscow, ID for a conference and stayed at the Best Western University Inn. The hotel is very lovely and the staff very friendly! Don't miss the free continental breakfast each morning with a variety to choose from. The hotel is close by the mall if you want to shop and a short distance from Moscow's downtown. Overall I had a great stay!
I have never been treated so well and had such a nice experience at a hotel than University Inn in Moscow ID, I had a handicapped room that was very conveniently located close to the breakfast room and lobby. The walk-in/roll-in shower was easy to use and the room was spacious. The food and drinks at the lunge/bar were excellent. The hotel is clean and beautifully appointed.
Wonderful stay for business or leisure. Great staff and great food, everything we tried in the restaurant or in the conference was tasty. Great location for shopping the mall or some snacks for you room. I have neck issues so the pillows didn't work out for me as well. The carpets need cleaning but I would stay here again.
Thick concrete walls made a very quiet night. Very friendly, attentive staff. Free breakfast was very well attended and staffed. If you are Vandals or Coug family, then you know to get early reservations for any event weekends. Make this your home. I'll be back!
Carpet needed cleaning. Room cleaning staff not very friendly. Phone broken in room. Breakfast was decent and was very well stocked, no product ran out. Signage not super visible out front, passed hotel almost every time I drove back to hotel. Front desk staff helpful and friendly.
My family has stayed at the University Inn Best Western primarily to enjoy the pool facilities on and off for many years. They have made many changes to the hotel in the past decade, most of which are good for business travelers, but which do not increase the value of the hotel as a family destination. The pool, in specific, is generally not very clean, poorly maintained, and I can't recall the last time both the sauna and hot tub worked properly when I've stayed. There aren't great alternatives locally, but as room prices go up and pool area attention remains poor, my family is desperately seeking alternatives.
All of the staff at the front desk that I interacted with were quite friendly, helpful and personable. The wait staff in Seasons took great care to see to it that our guests were well attended to. Jenni Travis and her catering crew did an exceptional job. Housekeeping went out of their way to see to our needs and whims. Maintenance did a fine job of cleaning the tables and area outside of our Suite (Presidential) and the pool.
This is a great hotel for a quick overnight stay. We came to attend an event at the U of I, so we weren't in the hotel much. We arrived relatively late. We were tired and hungry. We were warmly greeted by both the staff and the freshly baked cookies! It was a treat, as most hotels don't usually have cookies left at late night check ins. The building is old (but interesting in its own right - poured concrete building?) but tastefully modernized. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was cozy and clean. The pool area was nice and clean (we would have liked to use it but we ran out of time). The breakfast was very good; plentiful with lots of options. The hotel was booked to capacity, but we easily found parking every time we needed it.
It's been several years since I stayed at the BW Plus University Inn and had passed it the first time on Pullman Road since I didn't recognize it. They had a major face-lift and this truly looks like (is) a full service resort. The staff was gracious in finding the perfect room despite coming in very early. The food was outstanding and price below what I had expected. Breakfast here is better than most too. I usually stay at the Marriott or the Hilton - Silver member for both but heard that this is the best place to stay when in the Palouse Country.
Great place to stay if you have family or a student attending the university. The younger siblings love being so close to big bro at the University and enjoy the pool and warm yummy breakfast! Thank you for a great stay! Hope to stay for here for the next few years.
I have recently stayed at the Best Western Moscow two weekends in a row. The facility is old but recently remodeled. But more important than the appearance is the pleasant staff, high quality breakfast and ease of access to the University of Idaho for events.
I stayed here for one night on business. Met my expectations. Clean linens, window with view of a parking lot, and decent size room for a single traveler. There is a shuttle to/from the airport. The hotel offers a free drink at the hotel restaurant from Sun-Thur. Enjoyed a margarita and decent dinner in the hotel.
We have stayed at this Best Western University Inn several times over the last 7 or 8 years. It was remodeled a couple of years ago, and the property is styled in a modern decor with plenty of sitting areas throughout. The whole vibe is kind of welcoming modern pastoral, which reflects the way of life on the Palouse. The staff is the best resource on the property. We have stayed as a couple as well as a larger group, and I can honestly say everyone from the front desk, sales, housekeeping, and dining have impressed us with their absolute attention to guest comfort and assistance. From the small things like remembering us as returning guests to providing dedicated parking for vintage vehicles and providing a wash station for our cars, they clearly know customer service. Moscow is actually kind of a dual university town (Washington State University is just 8 miles down the road in Pullman, Washington), and as such, hotels can get hammered pretty hard with the many sporting, cultural and academic activities that abound in a college town. The Best Western Plus University Inn has managed over the years to stay on top of that intense pressure and provide a good, clean, relaxing place to stay while you visit the beautiful North Idaho Palouse country.
We were very impressed with our stay at the Moscow Best Western. Great room! The pool was inviting for the kids to have some fun, and the lounge was great for us parents. Happy hour was nice and the atmosphere was great. Breakfast was EXCELLENT!! The best I have ever had that was included! Way to go!
I think the common concern among folks staying there is how the price is so high for these significant weekend events. The rooms and amenities are average, but we realize the demand is big and feel gouged. There are men and women here. This is a game, Dad's, Homecoming, Graduation weekend issue. It makes me less likely to use Best Western elsewhere when traveling for business and/or internationally. You do a very good job hiring staff. They go out of their way to keep customers happy--especially your breakfast staff. They work hard with very little customer interaction and/or tipping. They are greatly appreciated.
Room are well equipped with adiquate out lets for electricity and electronics. Coffee in room is much better than usual for motels and easier to make. Central courtyard makes light in rooms plea sent. No road noise.
This hotel is centrally located and is very convenient to the University of Idaho. The staff is friendly and helpful. They recently put in an elevator to the second floor which is a plus. I would reccommend this hotel.
Wonderful staff from front desk to house keeping. Clean rooms. good location for U of I. My only negative is that they take advantage of parents weekends at U of I by raising the room rates double. I can see a little but it seems unethical to go that far.
Great stay. Very clean room and great pool. Quiet, and the staff were very helpful. The location is awesome, right on the edge of campus and right next to the Palouse mall and Starbucks. Would stay here again.
This was the quietest hotel we've ever stayed at. It was full but you seldom saw anyone else and never heard them. Very pricey but it was a special college weekend. Takes dogs, but no place to walk them without a long walk off property. Never have had to pay up front, in full 30 days before the use date with a no cancellation policy. Definitely a detriment.
We've stayed here 3 times in the last 9 months. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The beds are quite comfortable. Breakfast is included and it has a large selection (fruit, cereal, hot items, etc.) The location is good for both University of Idaho or Washington State University. There's also ample parking.
I continue bring my family back to this Hotel since it has everything we need. Great Service in all departments; we look forward to the swimming pool, hot tub and hot breakfast here. I no longer look at booking another hotel when we come to Moscow because I know this is the best Hotel in Town.
I stayed at the Best Western Plus for a conference. I found it to be a very pleasant and comfortable stay. the room was quiet and comfortable. the breakfast had many choices and the staff was super helpful.
I stayed in the hotel for one night and have no real complaints. Clean, comfortable, and tasteful furnishings in the room. I didn't have much contact with the staff, because I didn't have any problems, but they seemed friendly. The building itself may be one of the ugliest structures I have every stayed in, but the owners/management appear to be doing the best they can to make the best of it.
I recently stayed at the University Inn in Moscow, Idaho. I was attending a sorority reunion and the hotel made the experience very enjoyable. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating. I had lunch in the lounge/bar and the service was great and the food delicious.
We planned a reunion event at the BW University Inn in Moscow ID, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They worked with us to schedule room blocks and cater events that our 500 attendees would enjoy. There wasn't one dissatisfied person! The attendees loved the food and service we received, due to the hard-working staff that made sure our needs were met.
Our group has held its annual conference at this hotel for more that the four years I have been attending. The hotel staff is very friendly and strives to meet our every need. The hotel is also well situated with a variety of shops nearby.
They have probably the best free breakfast buffet!! Hotel is really quiet as they have cinder block walls and a really nice indoor pool! Would stay here again no doubt! Only issue was noisy heater in the room.
here on business. i had some reservations because the Best Westerns in my part of the world are not the best. The front desk staff (doesn't matter what time of day or night) are very polite and professional. the service in the bar and the food in the bar are very good (tap beer selection could use some tuning up). Breakfast was good (typical Hotel hot buffet) the rooms were very nice. the pillows were too soft. I was very happy with every aspect of my stay. i was there for three days and not negative thing to say
This was a nice hotel and a pleasurable stay. They were across from campus of U of I, and easy to get to from the campus. In every department, the staff was friendly and professional. We dined at the restaurant, and the food was wonderful. This was a great experience in every way. We wish we could have stayed longer.
This hotel manages a full house during the annual Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. They provide superior accommodations and excellent staff. Breakfast is the best I've had in terms of continental fare. The rooms are cleaned and serviced well. Staff goes out of their way to be positive and helpful in all situations.
We were in town for a hickey tournament and Best Western was the hotel we had a group of rooms reserved. From the moment I walked in the door the staff was very friendly. I have never been to a hotel where I felt so at home. Saturday night I went down to the fire and read a book. Very comfy and cozy. You can;t go wrong with this place
We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and the room is always clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast is great. The new menu in the bar/restaurant offers a variety of foods and is served quickly and with friendly service. I can recommend the Cedar Plank Salmon, soup and Flat Bread sandwiches. Delicious!
The rooms were comfortable, the continental breakfast was above your average oatmeal and cereal choices. There were fresh eggs and bacon and sausage, plus a waffle station, biscuits and gravy and a whole bunch of fruit and bread options. The in house resturants had wonderful food and the kids loved loved loved the pool! The staff was beyond courteous and attentive. We expected a lot less for the prices we paid. Thank you best Western of moscow!
The Best Western University Inn has been the hotel of choice for our Invent Idaho young inventors' parents for years. They have an outstanding swimming pool, so the kids have a blast. the hotel is right across from the University of Idaho campus, so access to the Invent Idaho event is quick and easy. The complimentary breakfast is great for families. The staff, especially at the front desk, make this a delightful experience.
While staying at the Best Western Plus University Inn, my family and I had a great time. The hospitality from the staff was undeniable and they made us feel right at home. Our room was clean and inviting. My husband and I have stayed at many Best Western Hotels and this is by far the best one. Our beds were comfortable, and when we were ready to check out we didn't want to leave. We will visit this hotel when visiting the area again.
Staff worked with our group prior to the stay to reserve accommodations. Front desk staff was fully aware of our group. Adjustments were made in pricing and room locations to accommodate every issue. Breakfast was amazing. Checkout was super easy. KUDOS and thank you!
While staying at this hotel, I found bed bugs and was bitten several times. Horrible situation! I will never stay here again and recommend co-workers and friends to steer clear of this hotel. On the surface this hotel looks good, but it was not until my last night stay when I found the bed bugs in the beds along with bites on my arms, face, legs, and backside. Horrible horrible horrible situation!
We were given special rates due to our Robot Team stay to do competition at the University of Idaho. This gave us a place to eat and sleep as well as recreation for the Students. We were able to use their Shuttle Van for transportation to and from the University Campus.
Check in easy and professional. Full Business center, gym, pool, sauna and spa. Ample parking and well located within walking distance of all necessities. Well maintained safe atmosphere. I shall return.
We went for a couples weekend & comedy show. We were able to check-in early and rest before going to the Seasons for drinks before the Comedy show. The Show was fantastic and lasted for 3 hours. They also served drinks during the show. Then after the show we had dinner in the Seasons. It was great I had Prime rib, my husband had a Rubin it was some of the best food I've had.
Great value-hotel night with dinner coupon and comedy show for $99.00. Had a good time-very good breakfast as well. Across the street from Palouse Mall and Winco. Good place for out of town guests for university events.
Many places to eat, nice clean room, nice pool, even did some laundry. Used points, so the price was right. Good breakfast. Got up early and the kids ran on the Univ of Idaho track which was across the street. Nice town in the middle of farm country.
I live on the road 3 out of 4 weeks. I am usually a Marriott Girl, but it wasn't available for this trip. So I got on Trip Advisor to check out the options.... And ended up booking here. There are three things I look for when in a hotel: 1. Comfortable bed and pillows 2. Clean room 3. Business Center 4. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Obviously, breakfast is not on my top 4 list as there is too much variation, even among hotels of the same type (not all full service Marriotts are created equal!). Well, imagine my surprise to find my expectations were exceeded in all counts, including breakfast. Which brings me to the reason for my review-- Example: Real eggs, not reconstituted. Fried potatoes with green peppers and onions. Link sausage the size of a small hotdog. Bacon. Oatmeal. Sliced fruit (cantaloupe and musk melon). Yogurts. Cereal. Breads and such... And, of course, The ubiquitous waffle maker. In other words, DELICIOUS options to sate the pickiest of eaters! So much for my diet. As for the business center, there are multiple computers and the printer actually worked! Awesome! In short, I will definitely consider staying at the Best Western Plus University Inn when I return to the Pullman-Moscow area next summer.
We were headed to WSU and wanted a nice family hotel, with an indoor pool, near amenities. Although there are hotels right outside of WSU, it is worth the extra 10 minutes/8 miles to Moscow. This hotel is located across the highway from the University of Idaho. And perhaps because of its location, it is in the middle of a row of fast food and dine-in restaurants. Walmart is just down the block and a grocery store is next door - everything we might need for our road trip was within walking distance! Location is definitely 5 stars! The front desk agent was super cheerful and friendly. She quickly checked us in and had us on our way to our room in a few minutes. We were given a room in back building, but were able to park right outside a back entrance. Our room faced the courtyard and we could view the dining hall and indoor pool. The room was a little tight - not a lot of room between the beds or walls. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. The fridge was not that cold and there was no way to make it colder. We ended up keeping our drinks in our cooler. The bathroom was fairly spacious and the shower was nice and warm. The beds were incredibly soft and comfortable. And there were outlets to charge our phones in the nightstand and desk area. Despite the restaurants outside, we were cold and tired and ended up ordering take out from the hotel restaurant, although I think they changed the menu now. But we ordered a Caesar salad and chicken and waffles. It was a lot of food and pretty yummy. My son also enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. When you visit colder areas, indoor pools are a must and my son have it 4 stars. Lastly, the hotel provides complimentary, full hot breakfast for all guests. This includes a waffle maker, bacon, sausage, eggs, fresh fruit, variety of breads, juices, and cereal. The dining room is large and tidy and guests can also get to-go boxes. We got a great room rate discount though Costco, and if we ever return to the Pullman-Moscow area, we will definitely stay here!
Very clean, extremely helpful staff!! Great family motel with many options for oustanding food. Breakfast is a complete spread of a full menu hot and cold breakfast. Perfect for our family! Amazing hospitality! We will be back!
Great breakfast every morning an set up early enough that you can get a meal before work, the only down side of my stay was the water pressure in the rooms was very weak, I stayed in several different rooms here while working. The best part was the hot and fresh cookies at the front desk every evening!! as well as the helpful front desk staff!! Thanks again!!
We held a business dinner at this location and it was excellent. We received excellent service and the facility was well suited for our size group. The food was well prepared, well presented and delicious.
The staff at the University Inn were genuinely warm and welcoming from the very first moments. The lounge was cozy with a fire where I put my feet up and relaxed. The pool was fantastic for kids of all ages.
I stayed at this hotel and upon arrival I went to drink from the glass in the bathroom. I took of the white cover and found the glass had a knife sharp cut in it and broken pieces in the glass. I am so glad that me or my child did not drink from that glass and get hurt. I took the glass to the front desk and the man had no answers. I wondered if the other glasses were even cleaned or changed. I then went to turn down my sons bed only to find a large spider in the bed. I did not feel that the room was clean. After checking out I signed the final bill at one price and got home to find they charged me more on my credit card. I will not be staying here again. The place is loud and it is hard to get any rest.
Excellent service, staff and food. Have stayed here many times. Do not even consider staying elsewhere when in Moscow. The fitness center was conveniently located next to the pool. Although we didn't use the restaurant or lounge on this trip, we have in the past and been more than satisfied with the staff and food.
Love this hotel! Staff are very friendly and helpful, and rooms are quite comfortable. The complimentary hot breakfast is very good with plenty of options. This hotel has the best indoor pool in the area!
The heater unit is extremely loud as it turns on and off when set w/ thermostat. If you are a light sleeper, plan on getting no sleep. It is possible to run the fan-only mode, but not in conjunction with heat. Otherwise, this is as good a hotel as one could ask for in Moscow, ID.
Excellent indoor pool and hot tub. Excellent lounge/bar. Get a poolside room to make the trip extra fun for kids. Lots of options at the continental breakfast. Also perfect for something like a rehearsal dinner since they have plenty of event rooms.
I recommend this Best Western, helpful staff, clean, and a very nice breakfast. Our trip was to visit the University with our grand son and we were convenient to the University. The weather was snowy and the walks were cleaned off. The parking was near the doors. This Best Western was also close to food chains.
Stayed for 2 nights the first night we were put next to the pool, the room smelled very strong like chlorine from the pool gave me a headache until I got used to the smell, The second night we moved to another room overlooking the court yard, it was much nicer smelling. Refrigerators don't work very well, couldn't tell if they were working at all, hardly got cold. Front desk employees very nice, bar staff was slow and inattentive. Overall its a clean place to stay and has a free breakfast that was pretty good.
Great service, clean comfortable updated rooms Bed was very comfortable. Sunday brunch buffet was second to none in service, value and taste. Complimentary Guest breakfast was also amazing. We will stay at Best Western without a doubt anytime we are in Moscow.
This was a very friendly hotel. Convenient location. Clean room, comfortable beds, great breakfast buffet. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Plan to visit again and will definitely be returning to this hotel!
We stayed 4 nights. Very courteous staff. Hotel and room very clean. Comfortable bed. Small bathroom. Right across the street from the Univ. of Idaho campus. We did not utilize the restaurant or lounge, so we can not comment on those. A very minor negative would be the carpet in some areas showed wear. All in all, an excellent experience.
We always look to Best Western when traveling because the quality is well known. This stay met all of our expectations. The check in was fast and efficient, the room was very clean and well decorated, the breakfast was yummy, and check out was a breeze.
Older building with updates. The staff is excellent! The breakfast buffet is fabulous! The swimming pool is very nice. Overall a nice place to stay . This is our third time here and we have had the same experience every time. Overall it is a good value and we would stay here again.
When we travel to the Moscow / Pullman area, we always stay at the Best Western Plus. The staff are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make your stay pleasent. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is great. We enjoyed their pool and fitness room . . . though the fitness room could use a bit more space. They are also located within easy walking distance of shopping and places to eat.
Great location for visiting U of I! Next to Mall and shopping, restaurants and a great breakfast! Staying again in the Spring! Nice room overlooking the pool area which made it easy to see if it was busy!
The staff of the Best Western Plus is fabulous. They are gracious and very knowledgeable. The staff went above and beyond to help when we found ourselves in a booked solid college town with reservations (made by another web expiditor) in a town 45+ at 10:00pm. They found us a room, cleaned and readied it for us,help us clear up the mess made by the other travel "helper". Sunday brunch was spectacular!
A great staff that is very helpful. Restaurant and lounge are good. The rooms are clean but could use an update. Overall, a good place to stay. Close to Washington State University and downtown Pullman.
I had a great time during my Moscow stay. I am scheduled to stay next spring as well. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for helping me have such a good time. The lunch was delicious in the restaurant and as I was alone I felt most comfortable coming and going from my room to other areas of the campus and the motel. It is very nice to have this venue in Moscow as lodging in the past has often been very difficult to come by. I shall look forward to staying here in the future.
The location and amenities were perfect for our IAAI Conference in which 75 people attended. The staff was very accommodating; good breakfast and meals for the conference for a good price. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The indoor pool/spa is a nice feature.
I didn't have time to use the pool, hot tub, or the fitness room. This trip was for business only. The room was warm when I first walked in (huge bonus)The bed was extremely comfortable. The food was decent, I ate every meal at the here for 3 days. Being among a group of 30+, we didn't get to select anything off of a menu. Everyone ate the same thing. Next time it would be nice to see what other selections are available.
Went to the WSU vs ASU football game. Our stay was great! We came in on Friday 11/6/15 very late. 11 PM and upon arrival was helped quickly with our check in. The food and rooms were clean. Room was a little cool but upon turning n heat was fine. I will definitely stay here again!!!
We stayed at this hotel for a WSU Cougar Game. Unlike Pullman hotels, you can choose to stay just one night! Clean accomodations and great breakfast - Best Western Never Fails! We will definitely come back for any late-night Cougar Game!
I have frequent Business in Moscow/Pullman and always stay here. Excellent value and great staff. I am always welcomed by name by front desk staff as well staff in restaurant/lounge. Excellent food and service.
We were quite pleased with this property and even though they were completely full, the service was excellent. The lobby is inviting with a nice fireplace and seating area and the free breakfast was very complete with lots of fresh fruit, oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, yogurts, waffles, etc. Maddi and Calvin at the front desk were so great about getting us a different room (in the original room , you could walk straight out to the indoor pool and spa, which my son really liked but the chlorine smell bothered me). There is a wonderful little restaurant, Seasons, which was so convenient. The maids were great- especially Natalie who went above and beyond.
The carpet in the room is absolutely disgusting. Stained, hard ground in stuff, is it old gum? I'll post a picture. The pool is cool, but it is always packed! The breakfast is amazing. Good coffee, hot and cold options, attentive staff, the breakfast is just great! Wifi is great, the sheets looked clean, even though the carpet was un-savable. Cinder block walls keep it quiet. Front desk people are always very helpful and kind. You can walk across the street to campus.
The staff were pleasant and helpful. House keeping was very courteous. The free breakfast was fresh and had lots of choices to choose from. I was impressed by the in-house restaurant which served some above average foods with a local flair.
The hotel and amenities were perfect for our purpose. The staff was so accommodating. Location was also a factor in choosing this hotel. Easy parking and clean halls, lobby and rooms. The price was a little high, but I was willing to pay it for the location and amenities.
Because ii was Homecoming weekend, the normal $99 at night rate, which I paid on Thursday, was inflated to $209 for Friday with a 30 day in advance reservation and PAY required. Don't bother, it isn't worth it. Try to cancel and they threaten you with "if we can't sell your room, the money you paid 30 days in advance with not be refunded"- this with a 4PM on day of check as the cancellation policy on your reservation!
We've stayed here a few times over the years, and this place has been relegated to our "only if we have no other option" list. The staff is friendly, but the noise in here is ridiculous! Also, quite a bit spendier than other options in the area.
My 7 day stay was due to surgery for our dog---as such, his discharge date constantly changed. Nelson, the front desk manager literally bent over backwards to allow us to remain in the hotel, even though rooms were very tight. In addition, he always asked about our dogs health----this man is fantastic. The complimentary breakfast in the morning is first class, and every individual that I met, wether it be the maintenance, house cleaning staff were always very polite. The lounge staff was superb---very nice people to talk to. I would highly recommend this hotel to all----the courtyard is beautiful, and my girlfriend loved the pool and sauna-----simply a great value and superb staff----Thank you Nelson!
If you are going to a game for U of I or WSU, check out the Best Western in Moscow. It is a great place to stay with all the amenities needed. You have quick access to great shopping in the area and some very good restaurants.
The Best Western PLUS University Inn in Moscow, Idaho was really nice. The room walls are ugly but who cares? The bed was comfortable, the rooms are clean and the front desk staff was really helpful. I would stay there again,.
It had very quiet rooms, excellent service, nice restaurant, excellent employees, and was super clean. over all a very nice stay and a very good value over all. It is close to the University but far enough away to be sane and quiet. Shopping is close for most anything you need as well.
We stayed 3 nights. The rooms are newly remodeled. Great beds and useful conveniences like a charging station on the desk that has two USB outlets as well as two standard outlets. The nightstand area between the beds also has outlets. Flat panel, hairdryer and strong Wi-Fi that is free of cost. The Sunday Brunch was amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful. When we come to Moscow Idaho, this will be our go to place.
One of the best experiences we have had in states and abroad. Unbelievably courteous staff, excellent accommodations. The breakfast was excellent and the wait staff were very efficient. It reminded us of our stay in Glasgow, Scotland because of the professionalism.
Each and every employee that we passed in the halls said "hello" to us! The breakfast was not your average continental breakfast - it was a huge feast. They had a business center with computers and a printer that I used with just my room key and it was all included in the room price. Everyone really went above and beyond to make sure that my family and I had an exceptional stay with them! We cannot say enough good things about our visit. We will be staying here again soon!
Clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast, very good location all add up to a very nice place to stay. No complaints. Enjoyed the stay and would consider a return in the future. Looks to be a well organized staff and operation.
All of the staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. I was a little disappointed in the cost, as we were there for Dad's Weekend at University of Idaho, and it seems that the price was raised just for this weekend. I was not disappointed at all in the cleanliness of the hotel and the beauty of the grounds. We will definitely come to this hotel again.
I found the accomodations to be superb, both in the quality of the facitlity as well as the friendly staff. I will definitley stay with them again and recommend that my company use this bussiness in the future.
