"Disheartening and unconscionable"
At the core of lodging customer satisfaction is a good night's sleep. Not available here because of poor facility management - all surfaces in the room were ice cold. At one time Best Westerns' were unique, owner operated establishments offering attention to detail. Apparently no more and available to any bottom dollar corporate investor. If opting to stay here, check in early, turn on the heat or air conditioning and then return about 3 hours later. That way if you are lucky the room will have defrosted - especially the tiled bath, furniture and metal surfaces. A Best Western rewards member, I booked on-line in advance, without the ability to cancel, without refund. Therefore, my arrival should have come as no surprise, and I expected a comfortable room to be available. Additionally, the property was virtually vacant, so no excuses and distractions were not an issue. So, it's either incompetency or my comfort and satisfaction are a secondary concern. Either way best to consider alternatives.

"Ravi's heater was on full blast when we walked into the lobby."
I had an excellent experience at the Best Western inn in Morton Illinois. The only exception to this was the front desk attendant, r a v i. Who did not seem to understand how to bring me a new blanket no matter how many different ways I asked. Ultimately I went to the front desk and told him that I was going to go and get a blanket from another room that was vacant before he figured out how to get me a blanket. Because the temperature outside was 14°, and after a 12-hour drive we checked into the hotel and the room was probably 35° no heat at all in the room The unit was turned off so therefore we turned it on and then went to eat dinner and came back and the room was still freezing cold even though the heating unit work fine it was just so cold The hotel should leave that heating on at least to 60 or 70° so that when guests come it's semi-warm then they can raise the temperature up to what they like but no and not at this place and on top of that there was no blanket in the room and when I asked her a blanket they said no you can't have a blanket we don't have any Even though the hotel was 1/4 of the way full there were dozens of rooms that had blinkers but Ravi couldn't figure that out so at the end of the day the next morning the breakfast lady brought me a blanket Ravi is the anchor around a great team's neck and he has no business as a desk representative in a public hotel. On the other hand Jeanette was the breakfast lady who figured out how to ultimately get me a blanket. Jeanette was fantastic and deserves a raise!

"Very nice and clean hotel"
The young lady at the reception was very nice and helpful. I had a misunderstanding about my reservation. She called the manager for me to speak with and the manager was very gracious in resolving the issue. The manager was understanding and definitely went the 'extra mile' to help us.

"Great hotel for the price"
My husband and I were visiting Peoria for the weekend and I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the Peoria area. It was either new or very updated, clean, quiet, comfy beds, friendly staff and a great price. Would stay again if in the area.

"Will stay here again for sure"
Very clean and modern facility. Jeanette kept the breakfast area well stocked both hot and cold items and was always willing to help. Sheay at the front desk made us feel welcome. We will definitely stay here on our return trip this week and on future trips through the area on our way to see the grandkids.

"The Best Best Western"
The Best Western Morton Inn is hands down the very best little Best Western I've ever stayed. The updated decor, spotlessness, and amazing and welcoming staff members had me feeling like I was staying at an exclusive resort. If all Best Westerns were like this little Best Western, I wouldn't stay anywhere else on business of family trips.

"Atypical Best Western"
Very clean motel decorated in modern style. Typical breakfast (except for the yogurt dispensing machine--I have not encountered one before). Friendly and helpful staff. This is right against the interstate, but we were not bothered by noise. Close to many restaurants. Best of all--very reasonable prices.

"Great value"
I always get the suite so grandkids can enjoy pool and sleepovers. Great breakfast selection, gym and pool. Staff are especially helpful and friendly. Suite are extra large and clean. I have switched from Choice hotels to Best Western because of this hotel. Have found most Best Westerns to have pool, gym and better rooms than most other chains for better price across the USA

"Great place to stay!"
We stayed here one night. We were there in Morton for the No Baloney Ride. We had an excellent stay. The room and hotel was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The offer a hot breakfast in the morning so you can't go hungry. The staff was pleasant. We were able to bring our bikes into our room which was a plus. I would definitely go back if I'm ever in the area.

"A nice find just out of Peoria."
I prefer smaller towns, so I tried this out instead of Peoria. What a find. I wish I would have had more time, but this was just an overnight stay. Everyone was nice, the room had plenty of space and breakfast was quite nice. I would certainly stop here again for more than an overnight.

"Excellent stay"
I was passing by from I74 with my family and I stayed at best Western morton I never thought that this the hidden gem in morton. The hotel is beyond the words to say all the services are excellent. I recommend all the families and friends to stay at this safe and clean place.

"Really great place"
Spotless, comfortable and user friendly, this hotel was great. Unloading and parking was a breeze. We were very impressed with the full breakfast that had a ton of options. This hotel is highly recommended to all!

"Very clean!"
This hotel is by far the cleanest one we have ever stayed in! It appeared that a family owned and operated the hotel and what we witnessed was that they were always cleaning. The pool area was clean also! I was so impressed! I will definitely stay again if I'm ever in the area again!

"Nice and clean hotel room"
We were vendors in a craft show and stayed the night here. The employee behind the counter was super sweet. I don't know her name but she had dreads and was very nice and kind. The room was big and really clean. If we ever go out there again we would definitely stay here, the employee and cleanliness of our room created a great experience. I told the person the next morning what a great employee she was, I really hope he passed it on.

"Shiny clean and welcoming staff"
We really enjoyed the beds, the pool, and the very helpful and welcoming staff! The rooms were very clean and freshened up every day. The manager was very adhering to our needs for this visit with my husband and I, and our daughter and five children. They loved the pool and it was comfortably warm, compared to some hotel pools. It was also very clean. The floors sparkled and shined in the lobby area. The seating for breakfast had large tables for big families, which were great for the 8 of us. We felt the breakfast serving staff went out of their way to keep things stocked and helped customers with waffles, etc. We loved the yogurt machine and all of the toppings for it. The hot food was good also. We especially enjoyed the lending library at this hotel. We found books for all of us, even the children.

"Clean and comfy"
Hotel rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Staff was nice and accommodating. Pool was great. Water was warm but I needed a long sleeve shirt to sit and watch. They have a shelf with books to read. Breakfast was good aas well.

I had a great stay at hotel..Nidhi shasma made me feel very welcome ..i didnt like the way another employee scold her in front of me when she asked for help Nidhi took it very well and very professional and said show me what i need to do but the other employee belittled her in front of me and customers..i will come back because of Nidhi.and if u have people that work like the girl that handles the situation like she did ur gonna lose business

"Nice area, clean hotel"
The hotel was easy to access right off of the interstate. The location was not too busy and there were some places to eat close by. The rooms were clean and updated. The offer breakfast in the morning.

"Excellent Value - Clean & Newly Furnished - Quiet - Hot Breakfast"
I usually use IHG or Hilton because cleanliness and efficiency for business travel is most important for me - this was one of my first Best Western stays and was pleasantly surprised at how perfect everything was - and much better value than IHG or Hilton - will definetely stay again. Comfortable bed, good hot breakfast selection, modern gym, printer, lots of snacks for sale - they have thought of everything.

"Not my favorite place"
Our reservations were made with a senior discount, but we were placed on 2nd floor when there was no working elevator. You had to straddle the toilet in order to shut the bathroom door. The beds were so high, I had to purchase a step stool to be able to get into bed (I'm 5'4"). The upholstered chair in the room was so narrow, only a child would fit in it. Housekeeping never came to our room during our stay. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable once you were able to get in it. The shower had grab bars. The toilet was of average height (instead of the very low ones I have experienced lately). The room was clean and nicely decorated. Did not try the pool or exercise room. Hotel breakfast was average.

Dear Guest, I was sorry to hear that your experience did not reach your expectations. Currently we are waiting for our state inspection of our elevator. Until that inspection has been completed the elevator cannot be in use. The weekend that you we here we were very busy and there was no available rooms on the first floor. All beds are at the height of Best Western standards. Housekeeping did not service your room this weekend, because your do not disturb sign was on your door. So we will not service those room. I hope that your next stay with us is more pleasant for you, and that all concerns were addressed.
"Unepected quality"
We stayed at this recently remodeled Best Western in Morton, IL (near Peoria). It was above the usual run-of-the-mill hotel chains. Clean, attractive and exceptional value, nice facilities and convenient to our meeting destination in downtown Peoria. Highly recommended.

"Family trip to Morton"
Just got home from Morton, we went to my nieces shower there yesterday. This was a beautiful hotel, all newly renovated. The owners couldn't have been nicer. They are very proud of their hotel and you can tell. The lady who prepared the breakfast was also great, We really enjoyed our stay and will be coming there again.

"Great motel"
Staff are friendly and very helpful. The room and lobby are beautiful. The bed was great. My only complaint is that the water has minerals that make it yellow. Great breakfast options. Great place to stay

"The BEST Best Western we stayed with!"
We were on a 21 day roadtrip and we stayed with 15 Best Westerns over 15 nights. This one was the most pleasant! The staff was by far the most welcoming - they even provided cold water. If you are near Morton needing a room near Morton - drive a little farther - I think you will be happy you did.

This stay turned out to be an excellent one with my family in tow. It seems that we always find the worst BW to stay at whenever I travel with my family, however, this stay was excellent! "Business/Leisure trip"
Stayed here for granddaughter's graduation because it was close to location and family. Hotel is currently under renovations, but was very clean. Upon check in, I was given all the details about pool, fitness room, internet and breakfast. Room was perfect with great pillows and comfy beds!

Very nice, newly remodeled hotel. Service was great, rooms were clean and bed was wonderful. Close to everything I needed. Easy to get to off the highway with great location to local restaurants and shops.

"Reasonable room in a renovated motel"
My wife and I stayed 5 nights at this motel and would definetly stay here again. Our king room was nicely remodeled and clean. Heat and air was quite., bed was comfortable. I would like to recognize Sheay Killion, she made our stay exceptional, a very helpful and caring employee. Free breakfast selection got alot better on the weekend. Several fast food eateries close by.

"A Bargain!!"
Friendly, helpful staff, newly renovated facility with tasteful grey decor, pristine king bedroom and bath, thick white towels, super comfortable mattress. Fridge, microwave, coffee, high def TV, grab and go breakfast. Perfect for us.

"Perfect stay"
I am traveling from Virginia to Montana and stopped here. Right from the start I was impressed because the front desk clerk was very friendly and I felt welcomed. The lobby is very nice and clean. The room is GORGEOUS and very clean and beautify done. I have stayed at Best Western before and said I would never do it again but this was worth the money. Do not go to an expensive hotel because this hotel is really clean and nice. The desk clerk is what customer service should be, he was so professional, accommodating and pleasant.

"Excellent Staff"
The hotel was very clean. Recently updated throughout. The staff was wonderful and extremely accommodating. We stayed here with our 14U softball team. They were always checking in with the girls on how they played and made everyone feel very welcome. Highly recommend staying here.

"Will definitely stay again!"
We were just in for 1 night and this hotel is just delightful. The lobby and rooms all have a very modern look, and it did not have that older hotel smell. The Front Desk attendant K. B. was able to answer questions about the area. Very nice hotel will stay here again.

"Excellent"
Great hotel very up to date and clean. Staff is amazing especially KB at the front desk. Plenty of good food nearby. All in all a great stay. 10/10 would stay again. Also weed legal in the state so that's a plus for any hotel

We stayed at this location for two nights. Our family had three rooms. The staff was so nice and professional. The rooms are very modern and exceptionally clean.l highly recommend this hotel. Easy to get to and conveniently.

"Self care getaway"
KB provided excellent customer service. He ensure my needs were met. So much so, that I decided to stay an extra night.The hotel is very modern and clean. Bathroom was a bit small. I look forward to going back. The to go breakfast option was good to have.

"Self care getaway"
KB provided great customer service. He ensured I had a pleasant stay. So much so that I stayed an extra day. The hotel was remodel 6 months ago and the entrance is being done now. The king size room was very modern and clean. Small bathroom and to go option for breakfast was good to have. Definitely will stay here again.

"Good Choice"
In town for a Disc Golf Tournament. They are doing some upgrades to the property, but we never hear a thing. The Staff was very friendly and all ways ask me how my stay was going. The rooms are very large and very clean. This place was very quite, even with the tournament going on. They let plays put baskets up in the grass area in the back to putt on. Well stay here again. Thanks for everything.

"Best ever"
from the minute I walked in , I was amazed at the cleanliness and beautiful decor. The general manager (Baldev) instantly greeted me with a warm smile. I felt like I was truly welcomed. The hotel staff (all of them) are extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I was here on business for a week and I could never found a better place to stay. Well done

"Better every day"
My stay at this hotel has been a very good experience. It has been an extended stay for me on this trip and I have watched as the are all constantly upgrading and trying to improve an already very nice place to stay. The landscaping is also very nice to look at at the end of a work day Kb always helpfull and working so nice

"Wonderful Find!"
When you have been on the road all day there is nothing better than coming to a clean, friendly, hotel— this was it! From the late night phone call to check in to check out we had a smooth experience. We slept well in comfortable beds and it was CLEAN! We were even asked several times walking by the desk if all was good. Give this nicely run establishment business. It is evident that the owners care and are thoughtful business owners.

I stay here for my business trip it was Wonderful stay Room was updated. Room was very clean with everything look well organized.Bad was nice> pool was nice my kids enjoy pool a lot.Hotel was right next to restaurant

"Had an amazing stay! "
My family and I rented two rooms last weekend and had a great time. The rooms were updated, clean and very comfortable. The pool was heated which made for great swimming time. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed here for Spoon River Drive weekend. Booked last minute as most other hotels on drive were full. Very nice stay. Newly renovated. Great clean room, lobby. Beds very comfortable. Nice breakfast. Would definitely recommend to others and stay here again.

"Perfect for a quick stay"
Stayed here for a one night stop. It was perfect for what we needed. Room was nice and recently remolded. Bed was nice and room was great. Pool was nice too, but was a little cold. Breakfast was good with the usual hotel options. If we need a place to stay in Morton/Peoria we will be back again.

"A nice surprise!"
I booked at the last minute and they had a lovely room waiting for me. Hard to believe this was such a great price! I felt guilty paying such a low amount. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast hit the spot.

"Good room"
The hotel has been recently remodeled. The fitness room and indoor pool were still under construction. The staff though a little frazzled at times, were friendly and helpful. The motel is two-story without an elevator. The place was clean. There are no locks on the side entry door so anyone could come in, but this wasn't a problem during our stay. Breakfast offered a waffle station, biscuits, gravy, sausage, and eggs as well as the normal expected fare. At times they ran out, but it was quickly refilled. Breakfast was served from 6-9 each day.
