We had a wonderful experience. The hotel was fresh and clean as well as our room. It was exactly what we asked for and wanted. The staff was great and breakfast was was full and enjoyable. The location was perfect for what we needed.

I stay here twice a month. The staff know me by name and are very friendly and helpful. I always enjoy my stay here. Highly recommend this hotel. Great location, always clean and great people on staff.

This hotel is clean and super nice.They treated me like a queen. The rooms are huge and clean and really nice. The staff day and night are awesome and there for you any time you need something. I had forgotten my bathroom bag at home and they fixed me a bag up with everything I needed for the bathroom. I was truly thankful and blessed for their help. I fell in love with the pillows there. And the breakfast food was always hot and fresh and really good. I even meet the manager he was so nice.

We came down to spend a few days with my family that lives in Richwood. I looked online at several hotels but this was one was rated the highest and was not the most expensive. I was extremely pleased with the hotel, the staff, breakfast and the amenities. I will stay here again! Everyone was so friendly and helpful !!

This hotel has scads of awards for quality of everything. Their free breakfast is second to none. I stay in hotels 3-4 nights on average every week. This is the BEST breakfast I've had anywhere! You can't even buy a better breakfast. The room is immaculate. The bed is superb. At 75, my back knows a good mattress when it sleeps on one. Good selection of pillows. Get this!! No liquid dispensers in the shower! You get a bar of GOOD soap and many other amenities in the bathroom Even mouthwash. Bathrobes in the closet. What stunned me is the price for what you get. I've paid over $200/night at some hotels and not received the quality and service I got here. I may seem over the top, but after Covid, most hotels have cut back on everything and stayed there. Even during Covid, this hotel managed to serve breakfast and comply with the safety guidelines when other hotels claimed they couldn't. As for location, it's next to a super Buc-ee's so gas, snacks and a car wash are within walking distance. This hotel should be advertised as Best Western Plus Plus!

Outside appearance was new and clean which made me feel safe. Entering inside the hotel smelled brand new, the staff was accommodating and friendly. The bed and pillows were fantastic. The breakfast was perfect, so many options!.. this is a great place. Keep up the great hospitality.

We stayed in Lake Jackson 3 nights. All the staff was friendly & helpful. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was so enjoyable it was like staying with family! We didn't even have to help with chores. The beds were the most comfortable, the pool and firepit fun & relaxing and the breakfast had so many choices we ate something delicious every morning. Not planning a trip to Lake Jackson? You should...and be sure and stay at this Best Western.

The location in Lake Jackson was great and near shopping areas and where I needed to be. The staff were kind, friendly, and supportive and the rooms and open amenities were very well maintained and clean. It was a good place to relax after my business meetings.

Unbelievably clean and fresh. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and all were extremely friendly. Our room was very comfortable. One of my best hotel experiences ever and I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my lifetime.

Last night was the third time I've stayed here. Each time has been perfect, from arrival to departure. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and cozy. They even have guest robes in the closet! The breakfast is hot, delicious, neatly prepared, and includes variety. Every employee I've come in contact with is super friendly and very helpful. The hotel looks great inside and outside, and the parking is well lit. I can't imagine myself staying elsewhere, while in the Lake Jackson area. I give this hotel a 5-star rating, across the board.

The fresh bedspreads, and wireless charging makes the Lake Jackson not only a clean, safe, and friendly space to stay, but also modern. A friend and I booked 2 rooms (single kings) to stay overnight for an early morning golf tourney @ The Wilderness. Very clean, spacious, comfortable rooms, bedding and amenities. A real buffet breakfast with eggs, sausage, hash browns, etc. Staff we dealt with (Debbie and Judy) were very friendly and accommodating with a couple of special requests we had. Will certainly stay again and recommend to anyone needing top notch lodging in this area.

As expected or I would say as advertised.. Very clean, nice breakfast and friendly staff.. Overall a very nice experience .. I'll recommend this over Holiday Inn as it will cost less than Holiday Inn but quality is the same.

Property was well maintained, the Staff was very attentive, and the Breakfast was very much enjoyed. We did have a couple of issues but the staff addressed them immediately, apologized, and made them more than right.

Customer service is phenomenal at this hotel. Jacob quickly checked us in and told us everything we needed to know about the hotel, and he provided concierge services when we called him from town trying to find some places—he very kindly looked them up. Our two-queen suite was very clean, with comfortable beds. Housekeeping does a phenomenal job. The small fridge and little freezer were cold. There was coffee and tea available downstairs 24/7. Breakfast was very good also. Gloves are available for serving, and the lady who takes care of breakfast is very conscientious and accommodating. She made sure everything was well stocked, and everyone was delighted with her service. The outdoor area and pool area are very nice and the workout room had good equipment. Free parking. Free wifi. The landscaping was nice. The hotel, from the time you walk in, elevators and hallways, all smell fresh and clean.

We were in Lake Jackson for 3 days the hotel was clean, the staff very friendly. Their breakfast was delicious and the staff was very welcoming and eager to assist. We had stayed in a condo on the beach 3 years by far it was more relaxing at the hotel and the drive to the beach & restaurants was not bad.

I had booked a room with 2 double beds and when I got there I was given a room with a king bed and couch and was told that that was the best they could do. The reason I booked with this hotel was because they had a 2 double bed room available.

This hotel is great, its close to the beach and my family thought it was perfect for our stay. The pool area is great and it has a shower outside to wash the beach off. The staff was friendly and the hotel is modern and very nice

Loved this hotel. Staff were great, room clean and nice, breakfast was good. Originally booked for Holiday Inn Express and we stayed one night and checked out because it was disgusting. We tried out this hotel and it exceeded our expectations. Thank you for caring about your guest unlike the other hotel. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here!!

Rooms were VERY clean and nicely equipped. (I'm super picky) Staff was excellent, very friendly and attentive. Breakfast (Covid style) was not great, but at least they had it. We enjoyed the fire pit with family in the evening!

Everything was perfect. Room was super clean, hotel was spotless. My only complaint is the breakfast staff we dealt with were overly rude and muffins were burned so bad they were black. Everyone else was polite and accommodating.

Friendly, knowledgeable front desk staff took care of us promptly at check in and out. As we came and went over the weekend, someone greeted us every time. Customer service was 5 star hotel quality. Hotel beds are amazing. We wanted to take it home.

I was a little hesitant at staying at a BW but we had a very comfortable and clean overnight stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Main floor is going thru some renovations but it didn't impact us at all. Hotel is very close to Sea Center Texas. We would stay here again if ever in Lake Jackson area again.

Most hotels aren't cleaning rooms unless you stay more than 3 days. BW will clean your room every day, if you ask. Many hotels are providing little or nothing for breakfast. BW has always done an over-the-top job to the max allowable under the Covid restrictions. This hotel is nothing short of immaculate. The rooms are squeaky clean. The customer service is 100%, always. I have stayed in a few hotels in Lake Charles in the past year and finally decided that this one is the only one I will stay at. They did all they could during this pandemic while others did as little as they could get away with. Although it is to my benefit to stay at this hotel, I also feel I owe them for going above and beyond, too. Also room rates are very competitive.

Nice rooms great services Thank you BW Room was clean the shower worked really well which is always a plus. The bed was very comfortable no issues what so ever television, fridge , coffee maker was in good working order No Complaints at all about the room or the bathroom it was all very good. The service was spot on very professional and very friendly they treated you like family so that was a real plus. Breakfast was served to you it was fresh very tasty and hot A good hot breakfast always helps get the day started right I would recommend the Best Western in Lake Jackson It is also located next to a Buc-ques 24 hour convenient store and near a Japanese Steak house.

This hotel is just perfect. Excellent quality, the beds are super comfy , always so clean and the staff is always so nice. I go about every one to two months to go see my grandchildren and my kids and I always stay there. Thanks for being such a great place to stay.

Our stay was made perfect by the very caring nature of the Assistant Manager, Jacob, who exceeding anyone's expectations with his commitment to accommodate us as we were early for check in and arrived around noon, with check in at 3:00. He invited us to rest in the lobby or outdoor lounging area around the pool until a room was ready, then came and got us and very courteously completed our check in providing all the hotel amenities information. Once we checked out, I realized hours later that I had forgotten my IPad in the room. I called the hotel & again, Jacob with the extra mile to contact housekeeping who reported that they found nothing left in the room when they cleaned it. I was persistent that the IPad had to have been left there so Jacob took the time to escort me back to the room but this time he pulled the mattress back from the wall headboard and found my IPad which had slipped off the pillow and onto the area behind the bed. He did not have to take the time to do this, but because he was such a caring individual and wanted our experience at Best Western Plus- Lake Jackson, to be be a memorable one with a great experience, he went beyond the call of duty to accommodate me and was able to find the IPad. I can't imagine that too many front desk staff members at any hotel would have done this but I am certainly grateful to him for going the extra mile. The hotel was super clean and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff even took the time to serve your food on a tray so you could take it up to your room to eat & socially distance. We've stayed in over 24 hotels over the past 12 months of the Covid Pandemic and this was the FIRST hotel to offer such a great breakfast and option to go to your room to eat in the privacy of your own space. Some hotels used the pandemic to fear nothing and some only offered a bag “cold breakfast”. BWP offers a hot full breakfast of eggs, hash brown potatoes, sausage, pancakes, breads/pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereal with juices, milk, or coffee. I will definitely stay at this hotel location again when visiting Lake Jackson.

We lost power to our room,The staff was very rude. and i didnt get my deposit back when called about the deposit the staff hung up in my face. i tried to call back and they still wouldnt assist me in my questions.

The entire state was experiencing power outages including hotels, restaurants and other businesses. As soon as power was restored, your deposit was credited back to your account. It is up to your financial institution and it's policies on when the funds are made available to you. This information was provided to you upon arrival and departure and again when you contacted the hotel.

The staff is so nice and helpful, the breakfast is very tasty, the rooms are clean and very comfortable. This place is amazing!!! You should definitely stay here if you are planning a trip to Lake Jackson Texas or the surrounding area!

Beds are comfy, rooms are cozy and the staff is the best I have ever seen. Breakfast! They have a full breakfast even during COVID. We ate real eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, home made muffins and croissant, pancakes. No other hotel we have been to is offering half of what this hotel offered us. Myself and my 3 boys felt spoiled. We aren't used to affordable hotels that nice and clean. To be honest I get them every other weekend and the same price ranged motels with an atmosphere that doest come even close to Best Western. We ain't high class in the wallet by any means but standards met with Best Western makes you feel like your living Trump style life choices. Haha!

This is the only hotel I stay at when I visit Lake jackson bc I know it will be clean and the staff is also always friendly and very helpful. The king beds are so comfortable and the free breakfast is better than most hotels I've ever stayed at. Will def be booking again on my next trip.

Drove all day to the coast only to find that i did not have access to the property. It was after dark and u was not familiar with the area at all. I called the customer service number on the back of my rewards card. They found me a hotel within 30 miles of where I was stranded. Best Western treated me with such kindness! Thank you for saving the day!

The hotel is cleanest I've seen anywhere... great staff, from front desk to housekeeping..decor in rooms is very pleasing...the pool is nice and great day beds by pool....I did not here any noise from highway...only 5 miles from beach...close to major stores and restaurants....I in belief this hotel is the best value from top to bottom in Lake Jackson Texas

We can't recommend this hotel highly enough!! We had to travel during the pandemic because our daughter was getting married in Texas! Any concerns I had about cleanliness etc.. were quickly put aside. The hotel was clean and smelled fresh just walking in the door! Our room was also clean and spacious. Any time we needed anything, the staff was more than accommodating. Cindy was the girl that served us breakfast and we looked forward to seeing her and talking with her (through masks, of course) every morning! Marty at the front desk was always helpful.. even when days later we had to call with a question. We were made to feel very welcome and would happily stay there again if in the area. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!

It is what it is. A regular motel. Very clean though and staff were friendly. Pool wasn't very clean though. Could see that the rest of the property was quite new and well looked after. Checkin took a long time due to computer errors.

Our softball team plays every year in a tournament in Sweeney and stays at a hotel up the road. We had called that hotel 3 times to make sure our rooms were held for us on the available dates. Everything was agreed to with their sales team only to find out the night we arrived with 16 tired and hungry teenage girls they did NOT reserve our rooms. To make a long story short we left and went to the Best Western Plus in Lake Jackson and the lady that was working the front desk was more than happy to make sure all my girls had rooms plus arranged for two separate rooms for me and the other coach. Our rooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet. God bless that woman for saving the day.

During check-in I was told breakfast is served from 0530-0900. The beds in our room were extremely hard & uncomfortable so my fiancè & I tossed & turned all night. As a result we all woke up & went down for breakfast late. When we got downstairs at 0852, staff was already putting the food up & we were told by kitchen staff they would not be bringing any more food out b/c breakfast was about to end. She then said we were welcome to whatever was left. Unfortunately there was nothing left. There was no bacon, no eggs, nothing. There were other guests who arrived before & after us who were literally scraping the bottom of the pans to try & get food out. What was left was just bread juice apples & bananas. I grabbed 3 bananas & left & this is all we ate... Now this is the first time we've stayed at a Best Western hotel. We usually stay at another brand. And at other hotels that offer complementary breakfast buffets (i.e. Hilton), adequate breakfast is at least available until 9 o'clock.

Overall very good hotel. If you are a light sleeper ask for room on west side, away from 288. Breakfast was fleshly cooked and good. Hotel is on 288 so you can't miss and it provides easy access. Internet connection is good and they have Direct TV.

The front desk was very helpful in helping us find a local place to eat seafood. She also told us about the fresh breakfast that was made in the morning. They also had a fire pit outside that was very nice. I would definitely stay again!

We just left Lake Jackson yesterday after taking a long weekend to visit family. Our stay at the Best Western Plus was first class. The building is very clean from the lobby, hallways and also our room. I honestly didn't see anything that was old or beat up anywhere in the hotel, I know that's not typical of most hotels. I didn't hear any noise in the hallway, from the rooms beside ours or outside. Our room was comfortable and we all slept well. The staff is very friendly and professional, always asking how we were doing and if we needed anything. We will definitely stay here when we are back in Lake Jackson.

We have stayed here before, almost a year ago. The breakfast is really nice with many fresh choices. We enjoy having the tea, coffee and a snack item available at other times of the day also. The room was clean and comfortable. We were upgraded to a suite also which made it nice to have extra room. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Access to the hotel is easy also.

Being this close to the gulf coast was nice. The hotel is situated close to a lot of amenities decreasing drive time. The breakfast was full of healthy choices and always stocked. Evening coffee and your choice of Milano cookies or biscotti was a nice touch. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

Everything from the appearance of the hotel, the lobby, the room to the comfortable bed and pillows was more than I expected. DIdn't make it to breakfast but friends said that was great too. There is a firepit with nice chill area outside. Didnt use pool because it was cold out. Convenient to get to and close to stuff. Also work out area was clean and well equipped. Was able to print some stuff off of computer free of charge. Staff was super friendly as well. Only quirky thing was getting out of parking lot if you want to go North---and that's a very minor issue because of one way street. But seriously---everything else was AWESOME or I wouldn't be writing this!!!

Bed was on a pedestal and slides around everywhere terribly annoying! I was awoken at 2 A.M. by guest outside screaming and hollering staff was not very caring about the fact that i came to complain!!!

This Best Western provided us with a very enjoyable stay. We were on a much needed vacation with our son and small granddaughters and we were very happy with everything at this hotel. This was a beach vacation for us and we found that the location wasn't bad at all, a short 10-12 minute drive to Surfside Beach. This looked to be a safe location and was about 3 miles from several places to eat and shop. All of the employees were friendly and willing to help with any needs that we had. One of my biggest anxieties about traveling is whether the hotel will actually be clean and in a safe area. The hotel itself was very clean and had a fresh smell throughout the entire complex. Our room was extremely neat and comfortable. The breakfast buffet in the mornings was great and was kept well stocked by the friendly staff. I would defitinely stay here again.

Nice new hotel with excellent staff. Good location right on the highway access road. Nice big rooms with comfortable beds. The breakfast was typical of what you would expect to find in mid-price hotels.

We planned a stay at a supposed suite down the road from BW plus, but upon seeing the accommodations, canceled out, and ran away in near horror. Luckily BW plus had an opening for us that night, and it ended up that I was able to book the rest of our stay due to others canceling along the way. I can't stress how much we are pleased to be here rather than that other horrible hotel.

We need a place to stay for grand daughters wedding. Booked three rooms. Check in was fast and easy. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. They located our group of rooms togeather. Breakfast was excellent and plentyful. We enjoyed the stay and grandchildren loved the pool. Price was affordable.

We came from Nederland and the people where great with our large group that occupied the hotel for a couple of Nights while we had a tournament going on. Breakfast was hot and good. Different stuff each day. Beds where comfy and rooms where nice. Nice pool area parents hung out there afterwards and no problems from front desk. Everyone was really nice all the way around.

Normally this motel is the best for us. Our last visit I pre registered as I always do. Was supposed to be the rate I registered at but for some reason when we checked in it cost $50 more. I even asked the desk clerk if she seen our booking for the room which she said yes.

I believe you may be referring to an incidental authorization that is taken upon check-in in addition to your room rate and taxes. This authorization is taken on all reservations so that you may charge things to your room. Upon departure, the authorization is released minus any charges that you may have placed on your room account. This is standard practice for hotels and not specific to any one hotel or brand though the amount differs by hotel. The 1st night we arrived the TV did not work, it wouldn't turn on at all (yes it was plugged in), there was hair (and not just a little) in the shower, and the trash can was sitting up on the bathroom counter (ew). We had just driven for 10 hours and arrived at 11pm so we just went to bed. The 2nd day was fine although we weren't in our room very much, maybe 2 conscious hours. The 3rd day the lights and a/c stopped working about 5am making it very uncomfortable and difficult to get ready for the day (or use the bathroom in the dark). The elevator was also out of order, which was not ideal the day after running a race. No discount was given, only rewards points...which only helps if we choose to gamble a stay at this hotel again. On a good note, the guy we checked in with was very professional and friendly, as was the staff at breakfast!

We accept no excuse for our housekeeping or maintenance services upon checking into your room were less than adequate. The electrical issues was first thought to be an issue within a hotel breaker however we learned that it was a line issue caused by the heavy wind conditions in our area and it affected a few businesses around us. This is through no fault of the hotel and while we try to make the best of a situation we are at the mercy of the repair crews in regards to how long it takes repairs to be completed. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future. The staff of this particular hotel are extremely kind and caring. They go out of their way to accommodate their guests. We had a power outage in the city which affected the hotel. The staff jumped to attention and were ready and waiting to help all departing guests with their luggage.......elevators were out.

Plenty of free parking with some dedicated disabled spaces, not secure. The staff on reception were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The three storey building opened in 2015 has a lift. The corridors are wide and carpeted. Large bedrooms with all the usual kit including a Bible. The lighting was poor with no overhead. The bathroom was compact but functional. Good range of toiletries including some extras such as a shoe cleaning mitt. We were there for three nights, our three breakfasts were excellent including bacon which seems to be rare these days. Plenty of fresh fruit. The outdoor unheated pool was delightful with an ADA crane, Three cabanas and a fire pit also loungers with mattresses, tables and chairs.

I really enjoyed a comfortable stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located for work and the breakfast is far better than most of the others I've had at the same class of hotel. Checking in and out was quick and the employees are very friendly. Most of all, the rooms are spacious, functional and comfortable. There's even a nice outdoor space with a fire pit close to the pool area.

Absolutely 1 of my best experiences, The room was excellent! clean, fresh. The breakfast was Awesome! But what Made this a 5 Star Expereince was this! I came down the elevator and Noticed breakfast was closing down and All I did Was LOOK over there and Vivian the chef-cook Said Sir Did U Want To Eat Breakfast I Said sure then she Gave me a Plate And Said Have Whatever you want and then she Named the entire breakfast menu I call That Above n Beyond! I make an annual stay in the area and had used best western before however last year tried Marriott's and was not entirely satisfied. This year back to best western and to my surprise was very much improved over previous stay. Breakfast far better, customer service excellent, house keeping very good.

Our room wasn't made up until very late in the day when we specified for it to be done in the morning. This is my only complaint which is why the 4 stars. Otherwise, it's a very nice place with friendly staff.

This is one of Lake Jackson's newest hotels. The beds are very comfortable. Be sure to check out the fire pit at night. The pool area has cabana like lounge chairs. The free breakfast buffet is better than you will pay for at breakfast chains. It had nice thick bacon, freshly scrambled eggs, and orange juice that tasted fresh squeezed. We were so impressed!

This was my first visit. The great reviews for this hotel are well deserved. The best part of the stay was the wonderful, pleasant & helpful staff. Housekeeping is top notch. The hotel was extremely clean & the beds were so comfortable. The air conditioning was quiet & temperature control was great. I got the best nights sleep. The shower had great water pressure & the water was nice and hot. The towels were awesome, they were huge, soft & very high quality. The microwave, refrigerator & coffee maker were so convenient (and clean). The WiFi was great. Loved the breakfast! My stay was 7 days. Breakfast buffet was great every day, there was a good variety (ie. Scrambled eggs, omelettes, pancakes, hash browns, mini quiches, fresh fruit, assorted breads & pastries, cereal, oatmeal, bacon & sausage). Most items were available every day & some foods were offered on alternate days ( for my stay, bacon was offered every other day, sausage was offered on days that there was no bacon). The food was always plentiful, hot and the presentation was great. I appreciated the solid, sturdy, plastic trays. They made it so easy to bring your breakfast back to your room. No fumbling with plates & hot coffee while trying to open your room door here! Complimentary, coffee, tea, cappuccino, espresso & Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies were available 24/7! The hotel lobby was beautiful. I loved the outside lounge area and fire pit. It was landscaped beautifully. They had fun, large, round cushioned lounge chairs. Some were built for two! Check in was so easy. I will definitely be back!!

Hotel was incredibly nice and clean. Bed was fantastic and had a hard time getting out of it. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This by far was the best breakfast buffet we've had in a smaller no frills hotel. Vivian the lady who cooked the breakfast was extremely friendly and a pleasure to chat with.

It may seem kinda small, but within this little jewel is amazing, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, solid fitness center, and most importantly, outstanding customer service! We arrived early before the posted checkin time, but the clerk was real friendly, and said our rooms were already prepared! They even steam-cleaned the carpet in the rooms. The bathroom and shower were clean and effective! It was too rainy and cold to enjoy the outdoor amenities (pool and fireplace area), but from what I saw, they looked well-maintained and presentable! Even though the location is better suited for business trips, this can also be ideal for a quick getaway from it all. Come by, get cozy, and enjoy this nice place. Also, there is a Buc-ee's just up the street.

Great front desk people - friendly and very helpful. I was not familiar with the area, and they gave me maps and suggestions. The room was nice, comfortable and quiet! I thought the bed and pillows were extremely comfy and conducive to good sleep. The temperature was easily regulated, so the room was nice and comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Clean very comfortable, felt like a safe place to stay. This was the second time we have stayed here and the experience was about the same both times. There was probably 6 months between stays. The only complaints I have is getting the fifth degree over our service animal.

The place was really clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful. They helped us get a taxis right away. The breakfast was the best we have had at a breakfast bar. It had eggs, bacon, potatoes, hot oatmeal, waffles, sweet rolls, English muffins, biscuits, fresh fruit as well as the drinks and cereal.

Overall the hotel is good - friendly service at the counter and great coffee! However, they need to do something about insects. Found a giant spider (maybe brown recluse) running though the bed as I fell asleep. Got very little to no service about getting my room changed and no apology for the bugs. So with this Is say, use caution.

With the large amounts of rain we've had in our area the past several weeks brought on by the tropical storms, they tend to escape any way that they can by coming indoors. We have regular pest control treatments that we strictly follow along with our daily cleaning routine. As you can see by previous reviews this is not a typical issue encountered at our hotel. We stayed at this location 2 nights. Reserved online. Made a special request to have the AC set at 72 prior to our arrival. Staff followed through. Our room was cool. Location has easy access. Building and grounds appear well cared for, updated or new. Breakfast choices were good but the small L shape layout of the food area makes for too much crowd congestion on a busy morning. Pool/lounging area was nice but we weren't able to get in the pool when we visited during the posted open hours our 1st day. Maintenance - chemical shock - was done at 11 a.m. Pool still wasn't available by 1:00 p.m. We enjoyed a visit to Haak Vineyard and Winery in nearby Sante Fe. Dinner was good at Lake Jackson Seafood. Extreme casual atmosphere, large tasty portions - not the place to go if you want a fancy date night. If traveling by car, be sure to pack chairs, towels, sunscreen and a cooler for a day trip to Surfside Beach.

This hotel was truly one of the best I have ever stayed at. It was clean, new, beautiful and comfortable. We stayed in a 2 queen room with a foldout couch. The room was perfect and very comfortable. Easy on and off from the highway. Quick 10 minute drive to the beach at Surfside. No complaints!!! I will definitely stay there again. The clerk at the front desk couldn't have been nicer!

We spent the Fourth driving in and it was a long drive, due to flooding rains. Two young men, at the front desk, made us feel so welcome and gave us great restaurant suggestions. The rooms are clean, large and very comfortable. Every employee, that we encountered, was so kind and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was very good. Lots of choices. We were in town to spend time at Surfside Beach and this hotel is under 15 minutes, away. There is a mall, Walmart, Target and Academy, very close. We will return.

My daughter was an out of town bridesmaid. We elected to stay a this hotel as it was near the rehearsal and wedding venues. The rest of the bridal party shared a suite at another hotel, and it was dated, cramped and difficult to get ready in by comparison. Other than getting lost using Waze directions, we found the hotel to be welcoming and looked appealing to stay at. Lobby was not big, but big enough. One elevator, but it ran quietly and quickly. Booked 2 queen room and there was plenty of space for our luggage, including all the extras you need for the wedding. The beds were comfortable, and plenty of lamps for controlling the amount of light you need. Blackout curtains were great. Bathroom was a nice size, looked clean, no mold/mildew. Shower pressure was good. bathroom fogs up quickly, even with fan on, and door has a soft close mechanism, so no way to keep it propped open to let some cool air in. Additional mirror in room for putting on makeup etc. Our room overlooked the pool, and unfortunately the storage facility next door, but we heard no traffic from the freeway. The ice machine was next door to us and we did hear that as well as some random arguments from other guests, but I think this was no louder/quieter than any other hotel I can remember. The breakfast was OK, not a lot of options if you are low carb and don't eat meat. Parking was not a problem either, always got a front spot.

This hotel is amazingly nice. It is clean, everything works, it is quiet, the staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and it is in a great location. We travel quite a bit so I am pretty picky when it comes to accommodations. We stayed here last year and I was impressed, so we booked it again this year. Upon check-in there was a problem with the server so the manager on duty had us wait for about 30 minutes. Finally he decided to manually check us in. I think he should've done that in the beginning. The hotel is impeccably clean and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. That is the main reason I recommend this hotel. On this trip the breakfast was not that impressive. If you are looking for low carb you're probably in trouble.On this particular morning there were no eggs, only small petite quiches.The coffee and hot water were always cold. The man on duty at night apologized profusely. I would book here again!

Clean hotel with large comfortable rooms. The bed was comfortable. The tap in the bathroom came loose from the wall when switching between shower and bath. The fitness room is basic and some of the machines have significant wear. There are no sanitizers in the fitness room. Friendly staff and a good cooked breakfast.

Room was very clean, had all necessary needs for temporary stay. well maintained by staff. front desk personnel responds to your request in timely manner. only negative was the breakfast was not that good, just ok. The bed while comfortable was a showing wear on one side. while sitting on bed edge you would tend to slide off. obviously well used but comfortable non the less. Lobby and breakfast area clean and very nice.

Everything was clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and quiet. The frig was not working right but we did not need it so we just reported it the next day. There were plenty of options for our breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

got to hotel kind of late but it was fast and efficient to get us in.Weather was rainy and freezing cold outside and hotel was very much warm and cosey.Coffee was offered to me to warm up and fast and speedy entry to my room.Next morning breakfast was great and upon exiting my stay staff was very elpful in letting me know how to access benefits from my stay.

We stayed here for two weeks due to our home being flooded by Hurricane Harvey and the repairs not complete. It was a very pleasant experience, one that we needed. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The laundry room was near us. The hot breakfasts were very good.

Great place to stay, clean rooms and very helpful staff. Jacob went above and beyond to make sure our stay was first class. We had a large group and he accommodated eve request. He took great care of us. The hotel is also located close to several restaurants.

Check your recipt, a week after leaving this hotel I checked my credit card recipt and was shocked to learned I was charged for my stay! I am a diamond select member and had enough points for a free stay. The front desk clerk forgot to use my points leading to me being charged for a upgraded room via my debit card

The hotel is newer and the rooms reflect that. The rooms are very spacious and have very nice furniture/amenities; however, the walls are pretty thin. I could hear conversations, tv's, and bathroom fans of the room next to me. In addition, you hear every single door open and close in the hallway. The staff was great and the breakfast is pretty good....above average I would say. Only other minor complaint is there are no wine glasses or coffee mugs in the entire hotel.

The room, beds, shower, and breakfast were one the top rated experiences we have had at a hotel. The wifi on the other had was just plain awful. It never worked and if you could connect it would just run so slow and kick you off 5 mins later. We had to go outside to use our cell phones.

I have already written a review for this hotel, but I felt that another good review was in order. We have been staying here quite often lately, and the experience has always been great. The staff is friendly and helpful and are ready to do whatever they can to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The property is clean and well-kept. The free cookies and coffee machine are a very nice touch. I want to give a special thanks to Lettie, the lady who manages to breakfast buffet. She is an absolute ray of sunshine--always pleasant and friendly. This hotel has one of the best hotel breakfasts that we have found. The food is delicious and there is such a nice variety. The staff and service at this place was awesome. Treated well by front desk, breakfast staff, housekeeping. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice and clean, the front desk clerks were really nice, and the breakfast was good. The TV in our room wasn't working and the desk clerk came right up to re-boot it. There were plenty of items to choose from at the breakfast buffet, including scrambled eggs and a pancake maker with lots of toppings.

This is a relatively new hotel that lives up to all of my expectations. Clean fresh rooms with plenty of elbow room. Loved the set up of the twin queen room. Friendly staff made the stay a great experience. To top it off, the breakfast was freshly made and NOT out of a box.

We checked in late and out early. Our stay was comfortable. I would stay here again. Rooms were spacious and clean. A warm breakfast was served with many options to choose. Desk clerks were helpful and friendly. Checking in and out was easy. No issues at this location.

The staff was very friendly & helpful. The rooms were very nice & clean. Breakfast was great and plenty of room for several guest at one time. Wifi reception was good on 1st floor. I would stat here again.

We have been travelling around usa for 7 weeks using mainly BW hotels. This is the best BW we have stayed in. Great reception by young man (didn't get his name). Best breakfast in 7 weeks because they use REAL eggs not that horrible packet stuff??. Great cappuccino machine. Good freebies including mouthwash. Really quiet even though it seemed busy. Thank you - you have restored my faith in BW hotels.

one of the best hotels around here, very good breakfast, clean and large rooms. in some rooms internet connection is not so steady. easy to reach. fitness center is not big but it's comfortable and with TV and air conditioning, I used it almost everyday

The appearance of the hotel was very nice and welcoming when we walked in. The staff were very friendly, room very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was a step above other free-breakfast hotels offering cucumber water, pancakes and ‘real' eggs, bacon (cracked onsite)—very yummy! All at a very reasonable price!!

Great location! Superb staff! Comfortable beds! Exceptional customer service! Amazing breakfast! You cannot go wrong with this Best Western! We've stayed here several times and gotten nothing less than perfect in every aspect of our stays.

My husband & I had an extended stay here as we had to evacuate from the flooding due to Hurricane Harvey. The room was very clean as well as the whole facility, & comfortable bed. The breakfast very good. (I miss it). There were many other guests also staying there due to the evacuations. All staff were very friendly, helpful & accomodating. The staff went over & beyond to make our stay enjoyable & comfortable. I personally thank Marty Morgan, general manager & each one of the staff. Many of the same staff where here when we also stayed here in June 2016 when we had to evacuate from the Brazos River flooding & had the same experience. It was like home away from home. I highly recommend Best Western Plus Lake Jackson Inn & Suites.

Great stay at the property. Didn't eat the breakfast, but it smelled good. Bed was comfortable. Internet worked without issue. Staff was helpful and attentive. Easy access to the rest of the area from the location.

My family and I had to stay here because our place was flooded. Thankfully not damaged. This is a BRAND NEW hotel that was helping fema with the disaster. Thank you so much for that, however they will not EVER HELP again due to nasty lowlife people. People that have never been in a nice place. People that allow there kids to damage property. If another hurricane hits us, remember why you can't stay in a nice hotel!!!!!! You know who you are!!!!!!

The front desk staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel was clean, the rooms large and the beds were comfortable. The pool area was small, but very nice. The included breakfast was tasty. Easy access to the main North-South highway.

Do not stay in room 304 if they give it to you because it is right beside the elevator. The room reserved for us they gave us a key we went up and some guy was painting it so they moved us to 304. I told attendant it was noisy and she said there was no more rooms due to 2 weddings

We had a great 2 night stay at this hotel. Everything was great. It is an excellent location and a very warm, welcoming staff. Jacob made us feel right at home when we checked in. The room was large and clean. The pool was very nice. It was small, but fine for our needs. The breakfast had a large assortment of foods. It was tasty and presentation was appetizing.

My family and I were extremely pleased with the stay at the Best Western in Lake Jackson. We were hesitant because the hotels in other cities are old and ran down. We prayed and God blessed us above all that we asked for. The hotel is a 5 star hotel in our opinion. We are planning a yearly trip to Lake Jackson and to stay at Best Western.

This is a great hotel, and I would recommend it to anyone staying in the Lake Jackson area. Easy access on and off hwy. I was there to visit a friend, and it was very convenient to get to her home without having to backtrack on the hwy. Got a double queen room which was very comfortable for two people. The room set up also seemed to flow better with microwave and refrigerator in the entry hallway instead of in cabinets under the TV. It was a little noisy until around 11 p.m. or so, but it was a Friday night and many families were in the hotel, probably enjoying the last days of summer vacation before school starts. Breakfast was better than some I've had at other hotel chains, and despite being very busy, the staff kept up with the demand fairly well. There were things a gluten free person could eat. Would be great if perhaps Almond Milk or some other kind of non dairy milk was available as well. This will be my go-to hotel when staying in the Lake Jackson area.

Stayed here on a business trip with my wife and I'll just have to agree with most of the reviews here and say that it was an excellent stay. Perhaps because of its age, the hotel cleanliness was impeccable. The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful; even when we had an unexpected issue arise, they took care of it in such a way that made me feel like I was indeed a guest that they valued. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was, again, clean and very nice. Hopefully they take good care of the place and continue to apply the same level of customer service that we received on our visit. If so, this will remain a 4- or 5-star rated hotel for a long time.

The best complement is how well trained the staff is! Tied with that is the authentic Italian coffee, cappuccino, espresso machine the Italian owners provided. Absolutely no other free breakfast Inn, or perhaps any eatery inthe area, will serve up coffee this good. Not withstanding the great machine, they cook up the best free breaky, period and I've had dozens. As an aside sad it is how many fellow travelors abuse the "free" in breaky. One person took the entire first batch of bacon back to their room!! Rather that repeating, yes, all the positive comments about bath set up, beds, wifi etc are true in spades. Hint ask for room on back side, which is true for all the LJ, Clute properties. Happy travels.

Very nice hotel, great value. The hot breakfast was delicious and the staff at this hotel are awesome! The room was clean and actually had a lot of space. The staff was able to bring up a pack n play for my granddaughter. Just a lovely visit!

Hotel was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious. Breakfast was good and there were a number of choices. The hotel is conveniently located off Highway 288 and easy to get to. Very close to Sea Center Texas (within distance) and a Buc-ee's. I would stay there again if in the area.

A fairly new hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The only complaint, and it's a minor one, is there were no USB ports in the rooms. This surprised us considering how New and modern this hotel is. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Very convenient location. Only 10 miles from Surfside. Hotel comfortable with very friendly staff. All staff were going our of their way to make sure we had a good experience while we were there. Very food value for the money.

Hotel is in a great location, right off of the interstate. This is our second time to visit and stay when we visit family. Each time the staff is nice and the front desk clerks polite and happy you choose their hotel. The rooms are nice and the a/c is cold. (very the humid outside) Nice bathroom, but on both stays my daughter could not shower due to the adjustment of the shower head could only go down so far. Not a big deal but just an inconvenience. Word of advice if you decide to say here, do not be late for breakfast. They are strict about shutting down at 9am on the week day and 9:30am on the weekend. We made the mistake and went down 15 minutes late and the employees were eating the breakfast. Odd to see, but this just may be a perk for employees. But a little frustrating when you pay the price for the room and come down for breakfast and you see the maintenance guy and housekeeper fixing a plate of food.

We were pleasantly surprised at the Best Western Plus in Lake Jackson, TX. It was clean, smelled fresh, the rooms are VERY nice. The décor is pleasing and the ceilings are high in the room that gives it a super spacious feel. The staff were professional, caring, and helpful. Great choices from the coffee bar and breakfast items. And we drove to the gulf coast beach (Surfside) in less than 20 minutes.

We were in town taking care of family business. The hotel is located close to the main shopping interchange in town. There was complimentary cookies and fruited water in the breakfast area when we checked in. The room was clean and quiet, AC worked well. The only problem we had was that the TV was on the side of the King bed so you had to watch "sideways." Everything else about the room/breakfast/staff/property was outstanding.

Newer hotel. Clean. Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. About 15 minutes from Surfside beach. 5 minutes from shopping. Fair warning...The Google maps directions are WRONG. If you are coming from the Houston area, this hotel is directly off Hwy 288, just exit Plantation and stay on the feeder.

Traveled for business to Freeport, TX. Hotel was convenient to highway, easy to find. Clean, room was spacious and Kelly at the desk was very helpful. Breakfast started early which was a great feature for me. Food was hot with many choices.

Everyone was extremely nice, and I wanted to like the hotel, but I just couldn't get to that point. The bed was so uncomfortable that it made my hips hurt, my husband's back go out, and my 3-year-old wake up crying in the middle of the night in pain. He and I moved to the pull-out, which worked a little better, but my husband didn't really have that option, as the pullout had no support. The breakfast tasted good, but the sweet ladies that were working on it couldn't keep up with it to save their lives. Basic things like milk and yogurt couldn't even stay stocked properly. We found an old sock in the pullout the first night we went to open it and found there was no kit to use on it anyway. It wasn't horrible, and the people were nice as could be, just slightly inept. Even the maintenance guy couldn't figure out how to sync the remote they had in the room for the tv.

Great hotel for an awesome price. I was trying to find a place close to Surfside without paying $200-$300 a night. Found this new hotel for $110 a night on a holiday weekend. Very nice and spacious rooms with fridge and microwave. Good free breakfast. Pool was a bit small but was clean. 15 minutes from the beach!

we stayed for one night and had a very warm welcome , from front desk staff, we arrived early and they let us in the room ,the room was great very modern , large TV 47", with a great channel choice , with HBO channels ,comfy bed , good lighting in the room, The down side was the breakfast ,eggs over cooked , deep fried bacon, and we had to wait for everything, run out off tea bags , coffee pods , bread had to ask for everything , such a shame , as would of given full points

This hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, with your choice of eggs, pancakes with toppings, bacon or sausage (alternates daily), muffins, fruit (canned), juice, coffee, and French toast with toppings. The clientele include tourists, businessmen, contractors that work at the nearby Dow Chemical plant, and truckers. But don't let that scare you off -- they are the nicest guys ever, and they are respectful and kind and not really loud. The pool is clean and pretty and the fitness center is really good as well. They have free newspapers, free Wifi, free maps, and lots of helpful staff. I would highly recommend this hotel -- it's definitely a very nice 3-4 star quality hotel.

This hotel is great. With clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, professional staff it will be my home away from home whenever I am in the Lake Jackson area. The only minor downside is the highway noise nearby. Rooms facing the street are a bit noisier but rooms on the pool side are very quiet.

BW - Best Western is the new improved hotel. This place is awesome. Fresh flowers. Clean beautiful decor. Spacious rooms. The breakfast was good. Staff is very willing to help. Book early to stay here as it is one of the best if not the best hotel in Lake Jackson.

We had a very long day and needed rest. The beds were extremely comfy and my 9 & 11 year old boys were able to sleep in! Everything seemed new. Breakfast was ok, but not exciting. Boys loved the pancake machine!

It is always nice to be in a relatively new building. No wear and tear. The room was clean and fresh. Loved, loved the walkin shower! The staff was eager to please and very helpful with our questions. Our room was quiet despite the location near a highway.

The hotel is immaculate, staff is great. The only disappointing thing was the small size of the double bed queen suite. Bathroom was big, room was tiny, so the description is a bit misleading. The bathroom would accommodate a wheelchair but the room probably wouldn't.

We stayed for an night in November for a wedding. The hotel was lovely and the rooms were very nice. The ceilings were quite high and the rooms had a lot of space. The hotel is right next to the highway and I was concerned that it might be noisy, but the rooms were very quiet. The only negative was the breakfast. The hot water was not hot, they ran out of coffee, it took over 15 minutes to replace the eggs. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were very cold. We were there on a Saturday morning but there weren't very many people, so I didn't think that was the issue. If you need a nice, clean spacious room this is the place to be. Just know that breakfast might be little challenging.

Cool and large rooms, good pillows and bed, new amenities, healthy and not so healthy breakfast, nice fruity water in lobby, very kind people working there lovely smelling shower gel and body lotion, close to mall/restaurants, reasonable prices. Next time we definitely come here again.

This hotel was better than I expected. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful, the lighting and decor was great. Standard breakfast was decent. Rooms were very nice. Mine was a business trip. I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks along with my colleagues as separate. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly in nature. I got a highway view room and whenever I get time I used to spend sitting beside window and looking at the vehicles passing and a large greenery opposite to the hotel by which was interesting for me as I am a nature lover. This hotel also has the very small swimming pool, not really for more than 6 members. More the members more the awkward to spend time or relaxing in the swimming pool. Breakfast was just ok, we couldn't find much varieties as we stayed for 2 weeks and the breakfast options were similar daily or sometimes alternative. Coming to the nearby locations, this hotel is little bit far, closely 4 kms (not really walkable unless you really want to do an exercise activity), from shopping areas. By the way it is very near to the "Sea Centre Texas". Overall it is a pretty decent hotel to stay.

Arrived at Lake Jackson for a one night stay, I had reserved a king suite thru Hotels.com. That is exactly what I got, room was exactly what was advertised, and even better. We had a fresh remote and Extra sheets for the pull out couch. It's little things like that make a difference. Breakfast was great and front desk clerk was very cheerful and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.

My husband and I are celebrating an early anniversary. We decided to go to surf side beach for a relaxing weekend. Best western plus in lake Jackson was an excellent choice to stay. They are right off the highway..easy access to everything around. Only 12 mins away from the beach. The hotel itself was spotless. Very clean rooms, bathrooms, and beds are very comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms also had fridge and microwave which is a bonus for us! When we come back we will definitely stay again!

This is a one year old property and is in pristine condition. I needed to use the reception area pc/printer and the equipment worked flawlessly. This is the first property i have stayed in that had a modern printer/scanner/copier. Often reception pc's have issues, not this time! Also the breakfast area was very clean and the food was great. I did have a room facing the highway and so there was some 'road noise.' No surprise really, but might consider a room on the back next time.

When I travel for work in this part of Texas, I like to stay at this Best Western hotel. The hot breakfast is very good and offers plenty of options from the healthy to the not so healthy! The rooms are clean, well decorated, and nothing is run down. It's evident the hotel is well maintained. The lobby is also clean and inviting. I haven't ever used the pool or fitness center there, so I can't speak to those amenities.

I had not stayed at a Best Western in many years, but this hotel was by far one of the nicest I have stayed at in awhile. It was rated higher than any other hotel in Lake Jackson and it lived up to expectations. The pool was very nice and private and the staff provided towels for the pool for each swim. The breakfast was very good and the cappuccino machine was awesome. I skipped Starbucks and had cappuccino each morning.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend while we went diving at Mammoth Lake. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The decor is modern rustic with that Texan flare...very nice. The room was clean and still smelled new. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the large shower with the heavy glass doors. The breakfast buffet was good...biscuits and gravy, eggs, choice of meats, cereals, oatmeal and pancakes. We also enjoyed the strawberry-orange infused ice water they had out 24 hours a day. We filled our Yeti's up before going out for the day and had tasty cold drinks after our dives! I also want to mention the staff was very friendly and attentive. The desk clerks greeted us with a smile every time we walked in and even the maids always had big smiles and were friendly. We had a great time!

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We usually stay at the Hampton Inn, but it has gotten dated and we found the Best Western is a better option for this area. The only thing I would have changed, is for the towels in the bathroom to be a little better quality, but they were average.

What a fabulous hotel! From the landscaping, breakfast buffet, beautiful decor and the amazing pillow top beds! My Mom and I wanted to go to Surfside Beach and wanted to stay close. This was the perfect place having interior hotel rooms with wonderful am entities including ice machine on each floor. Amazing breakfast with a wide variety of cereals, breads, oatmeal, eggs and meat with juices and fruit & yogurt. Such a great time, we're already planning a return trip. Jordan was extremely helpful. The entire staff was very friendly. Thanks for a great weekend!

Although the staff themselves will do what they can for you. I used Best Western before for family vacations, buisness trips etc. But This last time I had cancelled and they charged me $140 anyway! Non-refundable. They will not get my buisness or families buisness again. Jacob Is the manager I talked to and I believe he did what he could.

Our standard cancellation policy is 24-hours (4:00 PM the day prior to arrival) in order to avoid a cancellation fee equal to one nights room and tax. This is a practice industry wide, not specific to Best Western. Non-Refundable, Advance Deposit Rates cannot be cancelled without a fee. was a great place and the other people there that stay there too was nice I thinking its because of the staff there. my son was super loud but no one cared, was a place. the pool was little small but was ok for my son and I. this be one of the place to stay when your from out of town.

This hotel is brand new, so squeaky clean, with great service. Breakfast was good, the usual options in plentiful portions. Breakfast area is a great meeting place--an extended family was there for a wedding and they had the "family reunion" in the breakfast area rather than a room. Convenient to everything--Brazos Port Mall is 1-2 miles north, with every kind of food you could want. Bucee's is just across an empty parking lot for gas, snacks, etc. The hotel is on the service road, but getting back to NB freeway is really easy'--go out side entrance, job to left and go through empty shopping center parking lot, turn right on 1st Street (Plantation). We would definitely stay there again.

This is a great place to stay in LJ. It's a newer property with all needed amenities. Breakfast buffet better than most mid range hotels. Friendly staff. Good location. Bed mattress quite nice. The only opportunity for improvement is the pillows. I had lots of pillows, but they were all too firm and too thick for me.

We had two rooms rented for two nights. I had requested rooms on the first floor due to some physical limitations of one of the guest and also dislike of elevators. They accommodated us with rooms side by side on the first floor. SO grateful for the caring staff that is there. Hotel is super clean and excellent maid service. Definitely would want this hotel again. Hotel breakfast is provided but fruit has preservatives on it and it was way too tart and I tried to limit my carbs so didn't try much of the bread and sweets there. Other than that it was fairly decent for a hotel breakfast.

This was the perfect hotel for our summer beach vacation to Surfside. There is a Buc-ee's across the road were we grabbed snacks & ice before heading to the beach. The pool was nice and the rooms comfy. Best thing was the free internet was actually high speed (I clocked 20mb/s) and we could stream stuff on the iPad. Breakfast was about as good as free breakfast will be. We stayed an extra night to enjoy the beach and pool a bit longer.

Well furnished rooms. The entire hotel staff was pleasant. The breakfast selection was good, however, seating was quite limited for the number of rooms. A number of people selected their food and decided to return to their rooms rather than wait for a seat. Convenient to highway and access to shopping, sites, etc. Due to closeness to the highway if a quiet night is a must I recommend you request a room on the back side of the hotel.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the Best Western Plus, Lake Jackson TX & highly recommend this as a place to stay. Overall, the whole facility, our hotel room & bathroom very clean, comfortable bed, air conditioner works very well to keep down humidity. (Many hotel air conditioners do not seem to keep down the humidity),the breakfast was very good with a good selection, the excellence, courteous, friendly, helpful staff. We were flood evacuees of the 2016 Brazoria County TX flood. The staff was very willingly, cooperative in changing/rearranging & extending our reservations as needed as we monitored the flooding.

We stayed two nights at the Lake Jackson Best Western. The hotel is newer property so it was very nice. The room was very clean with beds that were very comfortable. The bathroom was just right with a bathtub. The shower head was perfect as well. The location of this property was perfect for us with nice restaurants and bakeries nearby. Easy on and off the expressway as well. The front desk staff were very helpful. Breakfast was standard fare for continental. We did not use the pool, or the workout facility but from a distance, it looked perfect. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

This best Western placed over five charges on my debit card which added up to more then $1800 worth of charges even though they were reversed because this account come straight out of my account money was held up hopefully checks don't bounce . The manager who's name is Marty acted very nonchalant about it like as if while the charges have been reversed it's all OK it is not his boss needs to know his attitude on this house situation that's why I am doing this if you go stay at this best Western do not use your debit card

When presenting a debit card for payment, your financial institution places an immediate hold on funds to secure payment. The amount can be equal to the total of your stay plus applicable taxes. Funds can be held up to 21 days depend on your financial institution. This information is clearly displayed on a sign posted at the front desk and is common procedure for any business where debit cards are accepted. This is not hotel specific and is in accordance to your card agreement with your financial institution. I do recall that you and I spoke with your financial institutions representative together on speakerphone and you were informed that there were no pending charges other than what was in accordance to your actual stay. I do understand your frustrations and apologize again for any misunderstanding or confusion in regards to processing your payment for your stay.

The front desk was very helpful, the room was spacious and well laid out. Bed was comfortable. The room and hotel was clean. Hot breakfast was good and breakfast area was kept clean. Check was fast and easy. hotel was in good location and easy to get in and out of. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Very clean, well kept. A little difficult to locate among the lights along the highway at night. It is situated slightly off of parallel to the frontage and main roadways. Common area for breakfast is more than adequate. Well lit, quiet, above average food for such facilities we have seen around the country.

We had a really nice time at this hotel. There is lots to do nearby in the area. The staff were well informed about what to do and where to go to have fun and even provided a guide in writing. We thought that the beds were so comfortable and we slept really well. When we left and returned, we felt right at home. The breakfast was excellent and we were welcomed with fresh coffee all day. The rooms were very clean. The room was a little smaller than other suites we have stayed in, but it was so well organized and stocked with everything we needed. Great stay.

I need to place to crash for a few hours before I headed back to work. Check-in was easy and staff was nice. I did not get the breakfast but a coworker said it was good in the past. The only problem I had was the lack of curtains to block out light. I had a double queen room so I took the feet warmers off the foot of the beds and draped them over the windows and that worked for the most part so I could get some sleep.

Thank you Ricardo. You may have overlooked the black out drapes that are in each room. Sometimes they get pushed far behind the sheers son that you may not have seen them. Great hotel and staff. Very clean. Nice breakfast buffet each morning or a brown bag breakfast if you were in a hurry. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Would highly recommend both for business traveling and pleasure/vacation trips.

I was only here for one night , bu they have guys who are living here for local job sites, so it is a weird dynamic. nothing fancy, but decent. Breakfast was fine - there are no complaints, it is a quality best western

Have to love any place that has pie for breakfast! Great place to stay! Rooms are nice and the shower head was actually taller than me! Friendly staff and clean grounds. Nothing bad to say about the place

New facilities. Staff was not willing to move me from my room (which was sharing the same wall as the elevator) to another for the remainder of my stay. Fortunately, after returning from my mtg later in the day, I was accommodated.

This is one of the best, Best Western Plus Motel that I have stayed in, & I do a lot of traveling. I stay @ Best Western Plus 90% of the time. The staff was nice, Motel is clean looks good outside & inside. You will not find another hotel in this area better for the price in my experience.

Very nice, clean hotel. Staff was very accommodating. Hotel actually exceeded my expectations. It was only 6 months old. Expected it to be very plain but was plusher. Stayed at the Comfort Suites 2 days earlier. This was much nicer.

Stayed in this hotel for one night only. It was beautifully decorated, new and had great staff...the hallways were well lit, the beds were very comfortable. Finally a nice hotel in Lake Jackson! The front of the hotel faces a major highway...choose a room in back if you are a light sleeper. I would stay here again...

The stay was real fine, the room was great and the staff was wonderful. I will stay at a Best Western again in the future. The only bad thing to say about Best Western is to fill out this survey I had to write a letter. I just wanted to fill in the dots. Anyway in the future we could just bypass a review if possible.

We do a lot of travelling and this Hotel was one of the Best without exception.I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who might travel to this area. Being retired -we visit several states and we never stay at cheap Hotels-its true you get what you pay for and this hotel was great.

This motel is clean, the internet works well, and all light and plumbing fixtures work when needed. Several movie channels to choose from. The cost is below others in the area in some cases 1/2 the cost. It's close to Buckees for gas and cokes.

Room was clean with sufficient number of towels, shampoo, etc. Front desk employees extremely courteous and smiling. Allowed for late departure. Bed was firm and extremely comfortable--slept very well. Hotel easy to get to and in a convenient location.

Wonderful staff, clean rooms, beautiful site. William was especially helpful when my sister had a diabetic episode. He went to the kitchen, made fresh orange juice to get her stabilized. REAL fresh eggs cooked for breakfast. Very good, fresh breakfast bar.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and quiet. The beds are amazing. I sleep very well at this hotel. It's in a good location. I like the express checkout offered at this brand hotel and breakfast starts serving at 5:30 so it's nice if you have to get up early to leave.

This hotel is brand new and still has the "brand new smell" when the front doors open. It's so new, that things like the hook on the back of the bathroom door fell off when I put clothes on it, because it hadn't been used yet and wasn't pushed all the way on. I fixed it. There are ice cream machines on each floor, but they are expensive ($3 for an ice cream sandwich). I was a little disappointed at the number of parking spots since there were a ton of contractor trucks, several of which were taking up two spaces. One of them put a nice ding in my brand new car door. :( The walls are paper thin and my teen son got a sex education where he could hear every word and moan through the wall. Great. They woke early and woke us up with their noise/talking, so if you are a light sleeper, use the tv or ear plugs. Pool is way too small and there is no hot tub. I thought the price was a little high, but fit in with the others in the area. Breakfast was okay, but the eggs were completely dried out and gross by 9am. We had pancakes and cereal. But, the beds are comfortable and clean. It's close to a Bucee's (convenience store) and easy enough to get to all the other things along the highway... IHOP, Walmart, Target, mall, etc. People in town used to be VERY friendly, but since all the contractors have moved in, it's really gotten very unfriendly and busy. Customer service at Walmart and those places is non-existent.
