Fabolous stay after a long drive up to karratha from Perth, room and bed were both very comfortable and the AC was a lifesaver, exceeded all expectations and cannot wait to return again in the near future.

Comfortable place to stay for work. Needs transportation to go to town. Cooking utensils and cutlery need upgrading/replacing. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Good BBQ areas. Reasonably good swimming pool.

The best Hotel in the Pilbura to stay. So friendly, so beautiful, so quiet, so relaxing, fantastic staff that care and make sure you feel at home. There is no other place to stay while in Karratha. Can't get it any better!!

Such a surprise to find this lovely accommodation so close to town. The rooms are beautiful, the gardens are stunning and very well maintained and the location is very quiet despite being just off a main road. The Ranges would definitely be my first pick next time I visit Karratha.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Tucked away 5 minutes from Karratha. It's like a tropical oasis. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Cafe is a great place to grab a meal after a long day. Best place to stay in Karratha. Highly recommended.

I stayed for 2 nights at The Ranges and it was pleasant. The cafe offers food and great coffee, however it's not open over the weekend which was a little disappointing. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and an out of hours check-in and check-out is available, with ample covered parking. The pool and area was well maintained and clean, overall, an excellent stay.

I have had the privilege to stay at the Best Western the Ranges in Karratha 5 times now and can highly recommend it as the place to stay in Karratha. The self contained unit accommodation is a class above. It's immaculate in every way. You can smell the clean when you walk through the door. The staff are warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The grounds are beautiful with manicured lawns and tranquil surrounds . The little cafe has lovely meals and is open quite late for that late arrival at the hotel when you just don't want to cook. I just wouldn't stay anywhere else in Karratha

On long road trip from Perth to Broome. Many dreary motels. And then this large, tastefully decorated apartment. Nice sitting room with well-equipped kitchenette, huge bedroom, big laundry/bathroom. Pleasant grounds. Nice Asian cafe.

The most relaxing home away from home there is in WA, you feel so at home here and the staff totally go out of their way to assist you. Rooms are so fresh and clean plus you have everything you need to relax after a hard day of work or driving or both.

We stayed here for two nights while we explored Karratha and Dampier. Great spot just out of town. It is really quiet with very good comfortable accommodation. The cafe was great for a feed. Undercover parking also.

A little bit out of town but well worth it. Large rooms , well appointed. On site cafe is a gem, great breakfast and dinner meals. Nice pool. Good bed, good shower pressure, modern and air conditioned.

Really liked this hotel. The rooms were very well appointed and fully self-contained.. Very modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Location is quite close (about 5 minute drive) to central Karratha, but far away enough to offer a quiet stay. The restaurant was closed during the weekend, but Karratha does offer quite a lot of food choices. I would stay here again for sure.

After spending quite some time camping , I decided we need some luxury for the night . Luxury is what we got . This place was amazing the apartment was beautiful spacious . The staff were above and beyond helpful and friendly . Will be back again

Myself and 3 colleges stayed at the Best Western Plus The Ranges Karratha for 4 nights in separate rooms, all 4 rooms exceeded our expectations, well located just out of town. Rooms were quiet, cool and roomy with comfortable beds. We ate breakfast at the Second Home Café and the scrambled eggs, bacon and toast was the best I've had away from home and great coffee. The ladies at reception made booking in hassle free and the ladies at breakfast were also lovely and cheerful. All in all I highly recommend this location especially if you want a quiet nights sleep, also really good for families with a nice pool, barbecue and pizza oven facilities and gazebo areas. I'll definitely be back.

The only place to stay in Karratha as The Ranges has everything you need. Great accommodation, great atmosphere, so quietly, so so lovely, Great Staff and great food. Just out of town b ut that is so good !!

Here for 12 nights for work. 4 minutes drive to CBD. Unit spacious and everything you need, self catering wise. Bed very comfortable. Huge bonus of gym with free weights. Lovely swimming pool and very pleasant cafe open 6 days a week. All staff very friendly. Highly recommended.

Fantastic rooms, exceptional service. no real issues and very pleasant to stay here. the whole grounds were amazing. Staff were awesome and happy to help out as much as they could, doing things that certainly arent expected by hotel staff but they were happy to help out.

We were so impressed with The Ranges accommodation for our two night stay recently (August). Staff were helpful, on site cafe/restaurant was a bonus. This cleverly designed apartment is one of the best we have stayed at - so much room throughout, fully equipped kitchen, discreet functional areas and the combination wet areas with generous bench space, separate laundry & bathroom sinks were much appreciated. The bed was comfortable; covered parking is outside the apartment. We would highly recommend The Ranges.

Our room at The Ranges was a delight. The room had everything in it that a traveller could possibly need. It was well laid out, lovely decor and spotlessly clean. Karratha was on our travel itinerary as a 2 night stopover heading north. We allowed 2 days as we wanted to see some of the petroglyphs. Unfortunately Murujuga National Park was closed to visitors. Never mind, something to look forward to in future. Thanks to the tourist centre we did manage to find some. Anyway I'd highly recommend this accomodation to anyone coming to Karratha whether you're tourists like us on the trail of Red Dog and exploring the countryside for petroglyphs or if you're here for business.

Great accommodation facilities and very freindly and efficient staff. Definately the best accommodation in Karratha and Dampier, and all at a competative price. I would recommend it to everyone travelling through the Pilbra, business or leisure.

It's hard to improve on excellence. Very new looking apartment, internet fast, beds and pillows comfortable. Kitchen fully kitted out. A very clean modern establishment. It's a pity more Motels and Hotels in North Western Australia don't take a lead from this Motel.

Fantastic staff, Fantastic accommodation, fantastic food and so relaxing here. The best in the Pilbara by a mile. Any rooms is so delightful and the swimming pool is so refreshing to hit after a long day.

One of the Best Hotels to stay in while away Travelling for Business. Staff are so helpful and go out of there way to assist you. Superb rooms and so comfortable and so quiet and relaxing. Really good food either Dinner or Breakfast are so good at the restaurant. I will always be staying here. Thankyou so much The Rangers Karratha.

Traveling during covid19 travel restriction times after just completing 14 day isolation. We arrived and was greeted by a notice informing us that this will be a contactless check-in. An SMS was sent with pin code to access keys from an electronic key watcher. Once I had accessed my apartment key there was a hand sanitiser available. The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything we could need was already provided. Although we could not make use of their pool or café meals were available as takeout or room service. Given the covid19 threat and our reason for travel this place felt safe and we appreciate the trouble management has gone to ensuring both guests and staff are protected.

The ladies at the reception were extremely helpful and accommodating. For me, customer service is always a top factor in a hotel industry and this place didn't disappoint. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

My husband & I have just stayed at the Best Western, The Ranges, in Karratha for 3 nights. Very impressed. Clean modern unit Beautifully maintained gardens. The queen size bed was wonderful. Very comfortable, good quality sheets, excellent pillows. The unit was very clean & well equipped. Even a good quality glass blender to make a yummy smoothie. The aircon unit was on when we checked in which was very welcome as it was a very hot day. A modern comfortable clean unit. Would definitely stay again & recommend this motel.

I have just spent 4 nights at The Ranges in a one bedroom unit. The units are really spacious. They have tea,coffee, a toaster, a big fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. The air conditioning system is ideal.The beds are big and are very comfortable. There is a huge pool, which I made great use of. The staff at reception are a pleasure to deal with. There's an excellent cafe, with delicious food and a good wine list, which I did a separate review on. The Ranges is located in a very quiet spot, about 2KMs outside town. It's very peaceful there. I found a taxi driver called Baan who was very reliable. Just sent a text to him and he would pick me up every morning. I highly recommend The Ranges.

Premium price but not premium service. On the outskirts of town mobile coverage was limited and WiFi drop out where regular. Staying for an extended period I was penalised with less service than a short stay but paying the same price. On the up side new self contained units with dishwasher and washing machine where nice.

Really great place, just out of town, rooms very comfortable and exceedingly quiet and private. This is a very nice hotel and I highly recommend it if travelling in the area, also a reasonable price for the location and excellent quality. The pillows were terrible and the fridge was not quite cold enough (made some milk go off by the end of a week), if you turn it down slightly things start to freeze, but everything else was just right so don't let that deter you, this is a great place.

Love the fully contained place.... units are big and clean..... although fone coverage is not at its best a free wi fi will cover the whole lot..... whole place is quit and love the singing birds that will wake you up in the morning.

I had a pleasure in staying at the ranges karratha for my business trip over a week. Nice, clean and well presented property. It also has a cafe which cooks amazing food . Rooms are spacious and has a kitchenette. 6 minutes away from Woolworths....not to far from the main city. Quiet and peaceful....very relaxing...Thank you The ranges for an awesome stay..... Must come again on my next visit....

Safe and secure site just out of town with modern very large rooms . Plenty of parking including room for trailers . Place has a cafe now so no need to drive into town, dinner and breakfast. The whole place is a clean as a whistle best in town.

Perfect for our visit to Karratha. The hotel was clean and employees very personable. Our room was spacious and more than we needed but loved it. Their cafe...My Second Home was really good and price was right. You could not go wrong to stay here when in Karratha.

This is a great place to stay especially if you're a woman travelling by yourself. Safe, very clean and lovely, modern apartments/accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff - they were around in ten minutes to change a light bulb and log the tv in. Beautiful finishes as well. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

One Bedroom suite was beautifully presented, absolutely spotlessly clean and overlooked a peaceful garden area with BBQ facilities. Pool area was lovely and they had a café on site, double check when booking when it is open. Very helpful reception staff.

Locals seeking a quiet over night kid free getaway. Excellent quality apartment with poor choice of decor (lounge/dining) making for an uncomfortable stay. Wanted a quiet and relaxing night in but ended up going out.

Stayed at The Ranges overnight on a business trip to Karratha. Set in tropical gardens this apartment hotel is a relaxing and beautiful place to stay just outside the town centre. The contrast with the dry dusty red landscape outside the grounds is enormous. The apartments provide a separate lounge/kitchen and bedroom/laundry/bathroom area as well as a porch. The rooms have the very necessary air-conditioning for the Pilbara environment and the kitchenette has the facilities you need for self-catering. Staff were friendly and welcoming. There is a large swimming pool and a cafe that provides quality meals that are no more expensive than other eateries in Karratha (where nothing's cheap!) I'd definitely be happy to stay there on my next business trip.

This was my first stay at the Ranges, and cannot rate it highly enough...The service, gardens, rooms are fantastic. The Cafe/Resturant has fantastic meals and catered for my dietary requirements without a hassle. Great wine list too. Management are friendly, professional and helpful. My stay was an unexpected delight and the four poster bed luxurious. My go-to place in Karratha! 5++ stars!!

Very quiet and dark at night time so very good for sleeping. Good in room facilities including well equipped kitchen and laundry. Nice views or the pilbara countryside. Good to be a little out if town for quiet and security.

I've been staying in this very nice place for about a week, and I am looking forward to the remaining two weeks or so. I am on business here, under a lot of constant pressure. It's great that the atmosphere and all the staff make me feel well and welcome. The units are spacious but cosy, fully furnished; serviced weekly. If something runs out it can be refilled, not to mention the really pretty gardens at the front. Plenty of parking too. Sarah & Ash, the ladies running in the cafe/restaurant (appropriately named "The Second Home"), prepare fantastic meals. They work hard and go to great lengths to satisfy clients' request for various foods, coffee sipped by the pool etc. The service is impeccable and quick, considering that there are only them two working during the present period. Always finding a smile too! The menu is long enough and reasonably priced for what's on offer. One can also order something different, e.g. for tomorrow or the whole weekend, including wrapped food, pre-cooked meals, fruits, salads... I do hope that The Second Home will soon be able to stay open on weekends too. Everyone roaming the area must check out The Second Home Cafe/Restaurant! Everyone looking for cool accommodation in Karratha, must consider The Ranges!

We had room 63 for a Wednesday night. The room - a living area equal to the size of a normal hotel room, then a sleeping area with 4 poster bed, computer nook and wardrobe, followed on with a large shower, bathroom area complete with washer/dryer. This was as big as a normal one bedroom apartment. All the appointments were tastefully done and there was everything you could need for either an overnight or longer stay. The gardens surrounding this establishment are lush and tropical with communal BBQ and pizza oven. Beside the huge pool is a cafe/restaurant bar, which I highly recommend. This establishment offers a level of luxury unexpected in this part of the country.

Have stayed here before and with the addition of the cafe/restaurant it only gets better. There are places a little bit closer to town etc but here with your own self contained spaces including laundry and kitchen why stay anywhere else?

Very convenient, adjacent to main road between town centre and Industrial Area with close access to North West Coastal Highway for travellers continuing further North. Professional service, well furnished, comfortable rooms. Onsite eatery definitely worth checking out.

Stayed at the ranges with family over the fenacle weekend even though they were fully booked it was quite and the accommodation was very well appointed ..The check in and out was a breeze and even though we did'nt opt for the late checkout we were not charged for leaving at 11am great place will visit again for sure..Would have been even better if the MSH was open..

The food at MSH is excellent! I could leave it there but I would be remiss not to leave a shout out to Sarah and Chef Paul. I stayed here a couple of years ago and was impressed. It has become even better. The rooms and grounds are immaculate and the cafe is simply one of the best places I've eaten in the Pilbara, ever. The menu is simple but the quality is top shelf. Congratulations to the staff here for maintaining such a high standard. I highly recommend it.

I stayed at the best western plus for the weekend while attending a course in Karratha. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. It has a kitchenette with everything you need. The hotel itself is just out of town so it was nice and quiet but not suitable if you do not have your own car. The cafe here is amazing with the best coffee in town and really cheap too! Would recommend.

Myself and three colleagues stayed here for three nights whilst in Karratha for work. After long days the self contained rooms couldn't have been better, private, spacious and well appointed. The staff at reception were polite and friendly, when an extra night's stay was required, it was no problem amending the booking at short notice. We ate breakfast at the onsite cafe, My Second Home, which was fantastic. This is my first choice for future stays in Karratha and I would definitely recommend it.

I stayed here for business and found it to be really clean, spacious and with everything you needed. Grounds and outdoor areas are well maintained and there are BBQ facilities. I understand the complex is built on the site of the old 'drive-in' cinema so it is a little way out of town and without footpaths not safe for walking except during daylight hours.

I enjoyed a one night stay at The Ranges, the room was incredible, very spacious and modern and have just about all the facilities you would need to live in it. The staff were so lovely and cheerful, it was great to see! This will be my go to for any future stays in Karratha. Look no further guys, this is it????

Have stayed multiple times now and very happy to spread the good word. A really nicely laid out facility. The rooms are spacious, well planned and very clean. Most of all, the bed is really comfortable and the air-con is quiet.

We had a great time at the ranges. I liked that it was a bit out of town(2 min drive) away from the hustle and bustle. The apartment was gorgeous, tall ceilings, tastefully decorated, new and clean. Great gardens as well, with communal areas that you can cook at.The housekeeping was the cleanest I've ever seen and the staff were super friendly. Thanks guys :)

After travelling to Karratha on business annually for about 15 years now we found the Ranges a couple of years ago and havent looked back since. Great rooms, great hosts, and quite reasonably priced. The rooms each with alittle private balcony surrounded by plants are so well equiped. Would be perfect for an extended stay.

On our recent trip to karratha/Dampier we once again chose the Ranges. This resort is always a great place to stay with it's perfumed gardens, shady trees & lawns. The pool is fabulous, always clean & a good temperature. The new cafe was an additional attraction this visit, it's hours are limited to weekdays mornings & evenings. The bbqs & pizza oven under the gazebos are very useful when family/friends join us for meals. The Ranges is a couple of ks from town centre therefore a vehicle is essential to visit the surrounding area, the heat makes walking unpleasant & unsafe during the day. The resort is spotlessly clean & the staff friendly & helpful. Good quality toiletries & washing machine add to a pleasant stay. Plenty of parking undercover or in the open for large vehicles & trailers.

Enjoyed a couple of nights at The Ranges. The rooms are fantastic - not rooms but your own self-contained apartment complete with washing machine, full sized fridge, dishwasher and balcony. The grounds are gorgeous with barbecue and pizza oven available for use. Pool is clean and a good temperature. We didn't get to use it but there is an onsite cafe also. You can stay here and not have to leave! A really relaxed, pleasant place to stay with fantastic, friendly and helpful staff. Can't fault it.

I have just completed a 5 week stint working in Karratha and was so pleasantly surprised with my accommodation at The Ranges. My room (16) has great natural light filtering in. I was surrounded by sweet smelling flowers and sat with the butterflies on my private veranda in the evenings as the sun went down. I'll be happy to return there next month.

Clean and comfortable rooms with air-con. Quieter than I expected, given there are lots of workers/FIFO in and out (I'm one of them!). Self contained with everything you need. Meal at the cafe was delicious, and you can also take back to your room. Staff service is excellent - friendly and professional. I've already booked to stay again next trip

Stayed this past week for work. A little out of town but quiet, no road noise. Staff were great on advice when checking in late Sun. Fully self contained, good aircon, and big comfortable bed. Cafe is small but outstanding with great service and food. Chef happy to mix and match dishes. No hesitation in recommending.

Very spacious, clean and modern rooms. Staff were great. Excellent food also from the cafe. I couldn't fault my stay at all as everything was excellent. Would definitely be happy to stay at Best Western The Ranges again.

Not recommended if you're a smoker they will hit you with $100 bill and you have no leg to stand on my boss paid for the room and got hit with $100 then he gave the bill to me tried getting hold of the manager but he will not answer my phone calls so if you're a smoker not recommended

Antony D- Your comments on social media and here are disappointing. We have looked after your company and when we spoke to your Supervisor Rick he instructed us to apply the additional cleaning fees. Upon return from a business trip I called the telephone number provided following your call to our office. Unfortunately I am advised the apartment was not fit for occupation for several days and had to be deodorised and aired to remove the offending smell. All guests are advised of the fees for additional cleaning where smoking is involved.

Just spent two nights at the Ranges in room 59, this is the best place to stay in Karratha the apartments are super clean with plenty of room. Gardens are beautiful and its very relaxing to spend time with family and friends in the communal areas around the resort. The name of the café at the resort is My Second Home, the food was fabulous we ate there several times over the two days and nights and couldn't fault food or the staff.

The rooms are beautiful with lovely king 4 poster beds, fully equipped kitchenette, a washer/dryer, large shower (fits 2 if you want to shower together), very, very clean and you could do a long stay (I'm sorry I can't). The staff are wonderful, they are so accommodating and the friendliest people. They go above and beyond with everything! As for the Cafe, what can I say?? The most amazing chef, Amin, should be in a high class city restaurant, you will NOT be disappointed and even if you stay elsewhere (or live in Karratha) you MUST eat here! Absolutely great 4 day stay. Great room very obliging staff nothing too much trouble. Unit lacked nothing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a luxury stay. We will certainly use again. Not far from shopping centres and city centre

Merry Christmas.. One of the best places we have stayed at. Has everything you need for an extended stay it is perfect. Lovely outdoor bbq areas beautiful gardens big swimming pool. Just spent a week at The Ranges Karratha. By far the best accommodation available in Karratha. Well appointed modern villas set in pleasant surrounds. Big swimming pool (almost big enough to do laps). Great little Cafe catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highly recommend it. Only draw back is that it is a couple of kilometres out of Karratha town itself. For some that may be a plus.

Highly recommend these apartments. Spacious, clean with quality extras. Great nights sleep in very large comfortable bed. Everything you need here. Wi fi and plenty of parking. Staff very efficient and friendly. Will stay here again. Each unit has own outside patio and chairs. Gardener here does a fantastic job and has created a lovely setting. Cafe on site. Very nice food

A Jewel in the rough. Excellent spacious apartment with everything provided. The attached Cafe "My Second Home" delivers outstanding cuisine with friendly staff and great chefs. A very pleasant stay just made that bit better than the rest.

Stayed at resort whilst vehicle repairs were being carried out. Staff pleasant and helpful, accommodation very modern layout, airy, plenty of space with modern facilities throughout. We visited twice and had two different units, both of high standard. Units are a good size to spread out. We had a lovely breeze around our unit and although air conditioning installed, we did not have to use it as room well ventilated with back and front doors. Our units were quiet, private and overlooked tidy gardens and grass. Short garden walk to lovely pool and cafe. Would loved to have stayed longer.

Was most pleasantly surprised on entering. Has every mod con, spotlessly clean and really well laid out. Huge living area, great bedroom and laundry/bathroom. Equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. Has a fabulous ambience and would have no problem recommending to anyone.

Been here quite a bit in last year or so. Mostly business but sometimes staying over weekend. The recent opening of "My Second Home" bistro makes this place the pick of accom in Karratha. Really nice food and staff go to a lot of trouble to keep the variety and quality up - service makes it easy to come back. Great stuff.

Originally was slightly concerned as on main road & travelling from Perth tired, though after reading reviews on trip advisor decided to give The Rangers a try. We booked two cottages & fortunately were side by side. Reception staff extremely friendly & efficient. Once we opened our sliding doors we knew we had made the perfect choice. Cottages were spacious, clean & well equipped. Liked being able to close off bedroom/bathroom from rest of cottage, bed & pillows comfort. Was heaven to jump into shower wit brilliant water pressure & toiletries provided. Whilst showering we could also do our washing. Outside our cottage a pizza oven & bbq were supplied along with table & chairs set amongst gardens Everything you could want in a kitchen if you decided to cook your own meals. Next morning we ate a delightful breakfast in new café adjacent to pool area. We couldn't fault 'The Rangers' and if heading up this way again would definitely stay & also would highly recommend to anyone travelling north.

At the rangers accomodation they have a cafe called my second home open to anyone from 6am till dinner , I've had the yummy takeaway breakfast wrap & sat in for the big breakfast as well, wonderful friendly service & staff , also has cakes , mmmm cake . Very nice ! Great coffee !

I have been travelling through the Pilbara for longer than I care to remember and, when in Karratha, always stayed at another place. In recent times I have found the former regular choice is becoming 'tired', they closed their pub and you just get the sense of something in decline. I researched and found The Ranges and stayed for the first time. Excellent rooms, helpful and friendly staff and a great facility all round. When they get their restaurant licensed it will be just about perfect. I will certainly be using The Ranges for future visits.

Stayed here a couple of times for work. Self contained cottages are spacious and very clean. Bed is very comfortable and large living area to relax after work. Nice pool, although I haven't used it. My only suggestion would be to have a gym, so if you're away for extended periods for work you can still keep up your exercise regime. New cafe has great coffee. My preferred place to stay in Karratha.

Accommodation was in a self contained unit with excellent appliances and facilities. The rooms were air conditioned as well as overhead fans. Excellent after being on the road all day. On site cafe served all meals. We enjoyed dinner and picked up a takeaway and coffee for breakfast on the road. No liquor licence as yet.

My husband and I have stayed here three times now for work purposes and without a doubt, the staff have always been friendly and all pay great attention to detail ensuring that we have everything we need. We have always been able to stay in the same room every time we come (which is a bonus). The rooms are very clean, really spacious, have a full kitchen, washing machine/dryer and now there is a restaurant on site. It is such a serene place to stay even with being so close to the main road. We have stayed at the other hotels in Karratha but since we first stayed at the Ranges we have never bothered going anywhere else now.
