Best Western Plus Chateau Fort St. John

The room was very clean and the bed and linens were amazing! The lobby felt modern but inviting and the front desk staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. We really enjoy the Best Western brand and the rewards program.

I enjoy staying here due to the staff and the facility. I recommend it to all of my coworkers, friend and family. I have never been disappointed and have stayed here over 50 nights. Try it, I am sure that you will like it!

I would not recommend this hotel. Poor customer service, sauna and hot tub dirty. The room was also dirty, will not be returning. Location was decent, but the hotel was way over priced compared to others in the area with better amenities. Our rewards were also not honored upon arrival.

This is my first time having a “pet” dog. I normally have a fully trained service dog but my puppy is in training & doesn't count in the eyes of ADI but does under the ADA. Either way the room we were put in was right across the hotel lobby. My dogs are trained to notify me if someone is near for ptsd related tasks. Well you can guess what happened being right by the lobby… voices were so easily heard even by me so notification “bark” (can only be 1 bark) was happening all through out the night & morning… not to mention bc it's a pet room there was another dog in the next room over who would then bark a lot once my dog notified barked. It was this constant back & forth which I can only imagine was horrible for me but for anyone who could hear this chorus of both dogs barking all night. The dennys also seemed great for room service but the phone to reach them either didn't work or you'd get randomly disconnected. When you got your food it was cold & saturated in oil. Making it a requirement to use the rooms microwave. Just an overall disappointing & exhausting stay.

The staff was friendly, quick and it was a very seemless check in. The room was clean and quiet. The shower door was so clean that I had to reach out and touch it to see if there was glass there. Overall probably the best place to stay in Fort st John.

Right from the front desk personnel to the breakfast and cleaning staff, they are very welcoming and professional. I had a great stay and I would fully 100% recommend this location to anyone. Great rates!

We stayed here while traveling the Alcan. Very comfortable, immaculate. Everything seems new. Breakfast was very good. Be prepared to provide your room number to the attendant in the breakfast room. If you prefer breakfast at Denny's, they offer a discount to hotel guests.

Best Western did not honour my reservation the second time. They said it was canceled when it was not. I was in a remote location without cell or internet service and could not have cancelled it. They did nothing to make this right. Their hotel was full and I spent 2 hours driving around town looking for another hotel because the internet was poor. I almost had to sleep in my car. The time before they failed to book us with a dog room even though they had it in their system that we had a dog.

Very clean and modern hotel to stay at, staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast could have been a little healthier. Would stay there again for sure. No highway noise although a little noisy in hallways and when other guests know on doors early in the morning.

We have stayed here before and will definitely stay again when next in FSJ. The staff are friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable. At the end of the day, it was a treat to pick up a fresh cookie on our way to the room.

Very comfortable place to stay. The front desk staff were professional and efficient. It was nice having the restaurant in the hotel. The rooms had kitchenettes and were a good size. Comfortable beds and a great shower.

Great place, a little away from other amenities like movie theatre, but if your up for a walk, it's 20-30 minute walk. Quite rooms, located in a more residential area. Breakfast was fast, hot and had good selection.

When the motel first opened, a few years back, I was given a corporate rate. The then staff put in on a business card. When I stayed next time, they were not very nice and would not honor the rate. This was even though they admitted my rate was in the system. Because a dennys opened attached to motel, I though I would check if they changed. Boy, did they even change. That manager was gone and the recent manager and staff was totally different and thus I am staying there again and will continue to do so.

Staff was very accommodating and readily available with any concerns. Very cordial and professional. Rooms and hotel very clean. Dennys food was great! Recommend the bourbon burger or salmon. Will definitely stay here in future❤️

Nice facility, just need to work on having the rooms made up daily, unfortunately most guests forget that the hotel requires you to ask to have the room made up, and restaurant needs more staff to handle rush at supper,

This hotel was clean, comfortable, and had very nice staff. We were ordered to evacuate our home town and the staff was compassionate and helpful. It was a stressful time and we were happy to have a place to stay. Wifi was great and the gym had everything we needed and it was clean. The only small issue I had was the breakfast. There was only bacon/sausage and egg offered every day. It was difficult to eat the same thing every morning for a week.

Staff was very friendly and hotel was clean. The room was very comfortable with four different pillows on the bed so I was able to choose the best one for me. The complimentary voucher for free breakfast was very satisfying, this was served at The Denny's attached to the hotel.

Great staff, clean hotel all the amenities you could hope for. I always enjoy my stay here and wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting John when I have the option. Breakfast voucher (or 20% discount for the rest of day) and Restaurant attached. Great food!

Have stayed here before and this time we found it difficult. As we like to watch TV after a day out. Stay here only if you like sports or international news. All other channels are blocked. Talked with the front desk they knew and basically said sorry this is what is set up. We told this person not happy they should have this listed. They cannot assume that eveyone would want this. We stayed on our trip 3 other Best Westerns and they were not like this. Other wise the hotel is fine and rooms good

We took a leisurely few days at this Best Western. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we required a few extras. The clerk informed us of the opportunity to reserve the hot tub or sauna for an hour a day for private use. It was a real highlight. We enjoyed a daily breakfast of eggs, sausage, bacon, toast and coffee on the house. We are planning to come back soon.

We decided to stay here because it was convenient to visiting family in Fort St John. We are also Best Western regulars so we'd like to choose them first. This one is one of the better ones I've been to. The staff are polite, friendly, professional and are great to deal with. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. We love the included breakfast and this one is even better because it's attached to a Denny's. You have the option of having the free breakfast or you can choose off the menu for a discount which is great! They also have a new wonderful coffee machine in the lobby that makes awesome hot chocolate and coffees, what a great perk! As we have family who lives in Fort St John this will be THE place to stay when we come to visit.

I've stayed here numerous times for work and the staff is friendly and helpful every time. The rooms are always clean and the coffee maker in the lobby is fantastic, so many options. This is always my preferred place to stay when I'm in FSJ.

I stayed two nights at the Best Western Plus Chateau Fort St John while there for a wedding. The staff were very friendly helpful and courteous. The hotel and my room were very clean and welcoming. Breakfast was provided by way of a voucher for Denny's which was conveniently connected to the hotel and even though I ordered different iems it had a $10 value that I could use against the total. Much appreciated. The restaurant staff were equally friendly and the place was clean and the food was excellent. I was cold the first night and requested a blanket and it was there the following day ready for use. At one point the TV connection was lost and someone came immediately and restored it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Fort St John.

I e been here many times over the past few years. I like that most rooms have a small fridge and microwave. The staff is friendly, the breakfast voucher is nice at Dennys. Good coffee machine in the lobby.

Manager and his staff are awesome rooms are great. This Dennys restaurant will not disappoint you. Good modern amenities. Always fresh fruit,còkies,and any coffee selection you could hope for in the lobby.

This is my wife and I's first time staying in this hotel. We stopped on the way to Yukon as it is right off the Alaska highway. Hotel rooms are nice and big with a small kitchenette which was great. Breakfast is just a $10 voucher for Denny's, would prefer continental breakfast instead. My wife found the stay very uncomfortable. Everytime she left the room, there was screaming in the lobby (assuming it was one of the managers). The same guy was yelling at staff as we were checking out. We have also seen the police at the hotel twice in our short stay, so not sure what is happening there. Seemed sketchy! We decided to leave the hotel through the restaurant to avoid the lobby. Hotel itself is nice, but the stay was unpleasant.

Nice hotel, quiet location, and it is a great bonus having the dennys attached. Shower heads could use to be updated the water pressure isn't the best, but overall one of the nicer hotels in fort St John.

This a fantastic hotel in Fort St John. The rooms are very clean, beds are super comfortable and staff are super pleasant and helpful. Easily the best hotel for the money in Ft St John. I've stayed here a couple dozen times this year and never disappointed.

This was my first visit to Fort St. John and chose this Best Western because of past reviews. I was certainly not disappointed. Check-in was smooth. Room was spacious, well appointed and very clean. Adjoining Denny's restaurant was open, including for breakfast, and the $10 food credit much appreciated. Much better than the breakfast bags that still seem to be the normal in other hotels. My outgoing flight was delayed and the hotel management kindly assisted with a late checkout. Next time in Fort St. John I will be staying here.

Hotel common areas and rooms are clean, staff is exceptionally courteous. I inquired with the staff on if the Business Centre was available for me to print documents; the employee offered to print ALL of the documents for me ( and there were many).

Coming from another BW hotel which does not meet my exoectations, I will say the management are the one who makes the difference. We are treated very well even the manager personally thank us. They should be named "Bestest Western Hotel"

Was traveling through and stopped here based on it being BW. It was perfect. Greeted as a BW member, great room and internet, and very restful sleep. I appreciated the morning $10 credit for the adjoining Denny's restaurant - far better than the many "breakfast" bars you encounter in so many places.

80% of my stays away from home are in a BW hotel if one available as I can always be rest assured I am in for a decent night sleep, cleanliness, a courteous staff and a comfortable atmosphere. I recommend BW hotels to anyone in my rapport.

Fort Saint John. Clean water pressure not the best internet was on and off but the staff made up for it. On the ball always making sure everyone was happy and had what they needed. Will return to this hotel again without a second guess. Price was slightly higher then I was quoted but not by much and the Denny's voucher was a plus

Everything about our stay at Chateau Fort St. John was perfect. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff, fresh ground coffee in the lobby and the spa/weight room was clean and neat. We woke refreshed and feeling fantastic. Absolutely recommend!

I stay all over for work, I have yet to ever have a hotel experience as good as this hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing, the hotel is so clean, and the amenities are great! The manager was so helpful getting anything we needed. The front staff were always full of smiles and wonderful to deal with. I will be staying here again many more times, hotels are my home away from home so it's important I have a good stay and this hotel is absolutely one of a kind in the best way.

I stayed at Best Western Chateau on my very first business trip to Fort St. John, BC. I made my reservation online and was not expecting much from a small-town hotel. I was surprised. The hotel is located on the convenient corner off the main entrance road to the town. It was clean and had friendly staff and the best price.

Staying overnight on our Geocaching Holiday. Very clean hotel. The Staff at check in and check out so nice and pleasant. Would stay here 100% passing through again.Fully understand some amenities unavailable as to the world situation. Not holding the Hotel or Hotel chain at fault at all.

Room was excellent - clean, quiet and cool even though hot outside. Good appointments and kitchen was well stocked with the right equipment to make own meals. Location was in a quiet neighbourhood so got a great nights sleep. Service at check in was fast and very friendly. Would definitely book again for next trip to FSJ.

Always respectful, good customer service. Come prepared with essentials ,not the greatest toiletries in the room. Amenities are ok ,depends if you are on business, pleasure. Ensure you get the best deal for your room, have stayed at many Best Western and they are not as caring as others.

Stayed at this hotel when in town for my child's surgery. Would highly recommend it. Every member of the staff was so kind & friendly and went out of their way to accomadate any special needs we had. The servers at the attached Denny's were absolutely lovely, making substitutions that my child could eat post-surgery.

My family of five were traveling through and happened to stay in one of the two-room suites. The General Manager, both evening and morning receptionists, and all staff were extremely polite, attentive, and pleasant to talk to! They replicated the same courtesy to my kids as well. They have a customer service model that should be followed by others. Rooms were very clean, zero funky smells, and well stocked. The beds and pillows were comfortable and didn't feel aged or overused. The furnishings, bathroom, and carpentry all appeared updated recently. The lobby, halls, and all other public areas were impressively clean and far exceeded my expectations. Kudos to the staff! Really, this little gem was probably top-three, if not #1, experiences at single night hotels. I'd stay here again if I have to travel the ALCAN in the future and would recommend to all the same.

Incredible staff. We were informed that we could book an hour in the hottub for ourselves alone due to Covid restrictions. Great hotel. They gave vouchers for Denny's for 10.00 per person that could be used any time during the day, as well as we were able to have a grab and go breakfast if we chose. Excellent Denny's on site with awesome staff and great food.

Friendly and quick staff made checking in and checking out very easy and stress free. The attached Denny's is very well managed and the staff is very good and friendly. I had both dinner and breakfast there.

When you live on the road for work .Its best to have comfort and piece of mind that your getting value for your money. Fort St. John Chateau exceeded expectations for the price. There are choices of hotels ,but this was far better than most hotels . Well above average comfort and quality.

This is hands down the best hotel in Ft St John for your dollar. Great staff were very helpful and pleasant. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Lots of parking and easy access. I've tried several hotels in the area and this is the best.

I would highly recommend this hotel for people travelling to FSJ for business trips. Denny's restaurant has great selection of food and staff is quite friendly. They also have a bar for people interested in drinks after work. Their coffee is the best.

My husband and myself stayed here because my mom was in the hospital. We stayed for 7 nights. 4 of those nights were extremely loud. People fighting, walking up and down halls talking very loud. Drunks cursing and hollering to get in their room. We were quoted 1 rate and charged a more expensive rate.. they did not ask us what card we wanted to use for checkout and just went ahead and charged the card before we even checked out.We ran out of hot water a few times. The bright spot was the Restuarant (Denny's) was excellent. The food was delicious and the staff were wonderful.

Stayed here for one night as we were here to deliver a SUV. The room was clean, well appointed, good color scheme and for us fast internet service. And the beds had the right firmness. Slept dead to the world until the alarm went off. The front desk staff were excellent as was the manager. He gave us each a $10 breakfast voucher. Great place to stay as you are close to shopping and attractions.

Stayed here for a few days for work. The hotel is new and clean and they offer you a $10 breakfast voucher at the attached Denny's. I asked for my sheets to be changed and new towels. I told them about 3 times (even wrote it in this book they have). When I came back that evening they didn't do it. I even took the sheets off the bed for them. So now it's late and I have no sheets so I call the front desk and there's no one from house keeping here so I ask her to get me some sheets and towels. She bring back sheets and towels but wrong sheet size. Felt bad for her that she had to keep going back and forth but anyway. Made my own bed. Speaking of the bed, my bed had a huge dip in the middle. So I like that this hotel is nice and clean, staff are very friendly but their communication to staff needs to be better, bed sucked and not all staff wear masks.

Very easy to find hotel, easy parking and very clean. It was great to have a small kitchenette (microwave, cook-top, mini fridge and cookware). We only stayed one night but had everything we needed. Included in the room charge was a voucher for breakfast at Denny's (per person) which is connected to the hotel. The voucher provides for a good selection of items to choose from. The only issue I had was with the toilet in our room. It was an elongated toilet with a round toilet seat on it -- not very comfortable. I mentioned this to two staff members and they both didn't understand what the problem was with it. I thought it was obvious.

They took away the make your own waffle and the pool was not open nor was I given the free room upgrade that is part of my membership status and when asked about I was told that there was no upgrades and when I checked that was wrong

I've stayed in at least 230 hotel nights in the last 3 years and this hotel is right up there at the top for a great hotel: clean, great friendly staff, well designed (modern updates) rooms. A well cared for swimming pool and slide which is great for kids. Lots of hotels are cookie cutters that all look the same but this hotel is unique as soon as you walk in. A great breakfast offered at Denny's next door. The bed and pillows are fantastic !!!

When you land in -35 degrees Celsius weather and you find out your luggage - including your bulky winter gear - was left behind at your departure city, it is great to know you can count on the hospitality of the Best Western staff to make you feel safe and at home. That's exactly what happened to us this week. This kind of professionalism is what keeps bringing me back to putting BW hotels at the top of my list whenever I'm staying away from home - either for business or for personal reasons. Great value in many ways!

Fresh clean hotel with friendly knowledgeable staff who value your custom. They supply a $10 Breakfast voucher for the Denny's that is attached (food not so good) but the hotel is excellent. If you travel to Fort St John this is a must

Great hotel, beautiful entrance, Dennys on-site and very comfy bed. The hotel was in a good location just off the main road in fort st john. Very easy to find as long as you're not a skip the dish driver

The hotel and its staff superseded my expectations. it was a good experience and I would definitely go out of my way to stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel and its location. It was clean, modern comfortable furnishings and the beds were over the top comfortable.

Great location, very clean, tons of weight selection in the fitness area. The treadmill needed some maintenance but other than that it was enjoyable. The pool wasn't in operation, I didn't mind but had I brought my kids it would have been a huge disappointment

House keeping: - one day just didn't do my room, an other day 2 conditioners no lotion, the next 2 lotion no conditioner. Internet did not allow me to access my company VPN. The booking came with a full breakfast, but the hotel gave me a $10 coupon for Denny's, which didn't cover even a very basic breakfast. Shower door did not stay closed, but slowly slid open about 3 cm. and there were cracked tiles at the bottom of the door. Definitely needs attention to detail, to bring it up to the standard I normally see in the Best Western Plus.

For a new hotel, it needs lots of improvements. 2 citrus lotion no conditioner. Coffee in lobby was too week. No elliptical in the fitness room. Pool out of service. Returned one night from work, bed was not made. Issues using the internet with the company VPN, insufficient band width. Breakfast is at Denny's, you have to go to the front desk the each day for the breakfast coupon, just like a child that can't be trusted. This was not explained to me at checkin, but by the restaurant manager. The $10 coupon , doesn't cover the cost of a breakfast. i.e. – coffee, orange juice, 2eggs & toast is $11.94. I feel this is false advertising with this room it included “Full Breakfast” not $10 off. This along with the location, it will probably see me back in the Holiday Inn Express.

Not as described in the itinerary. My email itinerary said free breakfast, wifi, laundry, and pool/hot tub. Free Breakfast was not offered at all. The staff would only offer a small discount at the attached Denny's restaurant. Laundry didn't work for the first 7 days of my stay, and only 1 machine afterward. Pool and hot tub was never fixed during my 2 week stay. Wifi kept disconnecting after a few mins use. I reported all the problems formally to best western website and not a single staff member approached me to resolve my issues during the week after the complaint. My work booked the hotel for my stay. If it was my choice I would of switched to a different hotel after realizing all the issues and nothing fixed. No other services within walking distance

Front desk staff were great. Breakfast is NOT complimentary. Laundry services were out of order or I has issues with the machines. The one manager was not very friendly and cared more about making a little extra money than guest satisfaction. Rooms were quite nice though. But I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone staying for an extended period of time and I will never go back to it.

Stayed at this location for business , and do not recommend for long term stays Cleaning staff goes through you're thing and searches through you're belongings .don't leave anything of value or money, Management is rude and don't stand up for the paying guest when confronted about the cleaning staff and the invasion of privacy, and then try's to up the rates of you're room if he is unhappy with you. They make you show what's in you're coffee cup when you go outside and always watching you . This is not a hotel more like a prison.

My family (two children, husband and I )spent a week in FSJ for work/ hockey camp and booked our room at the Best Western in advance as we have stayed several times in the past and have had positive experiences. Our children were very excited for the hotel pool as always and we were very disappointed to have the front desk tell us while checking in that the pool was closed. They informed us that they were waiting on a part and that it could reopen tomorrow, or later in the week; they didn't know exactly. We decided to hope for the best and hope for tomorrow. The next day I was casually chatting with a manager in the lobby and they mentioned that the pool was undergoing major repairs due to issues with construction and they didn't think it would ever be reopened again. This news was disappointing to hear as I felt that the front desk could have been more upfront when we checked in. On TripAdvisor and other 3rd party booking sites this hotel still has a pool listed as one of the amenities and that should be updated. One other minor inconvenience for our family that I think is worth mentioning. The continental breakfast they once had (which was really wonderful) is no longer offered. Instead guests are offered a voucher to have breakfast at Denny's next door. Not a big deal. Some may actually prefer this and view it as a major positive, but on an early, busy morning it is certainly a lot more convenient to run downstairs in your sweatpants to grab a bagel, fruit and coffee than to wait 45 minutes in a busy restaurant for breakfast (albeit a delicious breakfast). We stay in FSJ often with our kids for hockey trips and while passing through/visiting friends and these are two major factors we will consider in the future when booking a hotel and are also things we will mention to other local families when travelling there for hockey trips. For those that don't really care about a pool or a fast breakfast, I do want to point out that the hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable, wifi is very fast, and the front desk staff is friendly.

Came up for a business trip. Selected this hotel for the pool and hot tub. Was not informed it was down. Was going to stay all week but not due to the fact they did not inform me when booking, I asked specifically if they had a pool and hot tub, they failed to tell me it's not working.. I will be looking for a new hotel in the morning and won't be back.

After traveling the Alcan for several days, it was a welcome relief to check into such a wonderful hotel. It is only about a block from the highway which helped to reduce noise. There are several restaurants and stores in the area. Check in was fast and flawless. The hotel is new, so everything was in excellent condition. There is a restaurant on site but it was not opened yet. The gym was nicer than most hotels of this size - usually it's just no more than a closet with a few machines - but this was actually thought out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the standard fare, nothing exceptional. Wifi worked well. I would definitely stay here again.

A clean, friendly and comfortable hotel. Very easy to get to and from the airport in town as well. The staff were great, the breakfast in the morning had a nice selection and was quite tasty. Have stayed here several times and will continue to use this hotel when traveling from fort st john.

Very helpful, friendly staff. Located just minutes from the shopping mall, close to restaurants and the highway. The hotel is located near a residental area, so quiet, and far way that you don't hear highway traffic. Breakfast is good (Denny's coming soon though for greater selection). Small fitness center. Nice, newer hotel. The bed was a little too soft for my liking.

2nd Stay in a couple months, staff are resourceful (trying to find a cord for a lap top last minute in a strange town) cookies. Breakfast is common hotel fair, but the rooms are top knotch, pool, hot tub, parking all good. Once the restaurant is added, it will be a one stop shop!

this was one of the cleanest best run accommodations I have been in anywhere on my business travels , I tend to stay for weeks at a time so you get to see more of the staff , I was very impressed helpfulness and actual caring for the customer I experienced from the manager and staff , this is not the norm for most place's I stay

A slight bit off the main arteries, but a new fresh, modern motel , pool , gym , breakfast , new beds , linens , flat panel , great bathroom and shower pressure ... etc for barely over $100 a night ... pretty good value in my travels .

Management would not honour corporate rate they provided prior and was not very friendly about it at all. Make sure your get a signed contract, if you want a corporate rate. Thankfully I found another better hotel that was honourable and gave me a one year signed contract. So shop around because there a better hotels with better rates in town and way friendlier.

If a hot tub is a must for you as it is for me this should not be your choice. Some of the staff are exceptional and the rooms are great. Ask to stay on the back side as FT ST John is up and on their way to work at 4am-diesel's and Hemi's scream by from then on.

Everything was good to great, the only complaint I had was that the bedrooms were a bit tight to move around in, but the rooms themselves were very nice and beds were vey comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was in order and efficient on check in and checkout. There is ample parking with AC plugs for block heaters. The pool and area is very clean and well kept, same with the gym area. Breakfast is very divers and filling.

The booking process was incredibly easy, the young lady who answered the phone (I believe it was the same one who checked me in) was very friendly, knowledgeable and clearly good at her job. The room was clean, beautiful. Comfortable bed. The only complaint on the room itself is the bathroom was a bit small so kind of awkward to maneuver the door. Otherwise, excellent. I used the gym, unfortunately the bike and two TVs werent working properly but it was clean and had enough other stuff to get a decent little workout in. The breakfast was delicious and there was a nice variety of foods! PLUS as I returned my keys, the gentleman at the front offered little healthy snack bags that had water, a fruit and granola bar in it... if theres one way to win me over, it's free snacks! It was a nice surprise and much appreciated on my travels. All this for a pretty inexpensive stay... I'll stay again in the future for sure!

I hadn't been here in a few months. Great experience as before. I interacted several times with Aashna who was fantastic. Very personable and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Like the Telus optik tv and internet. Lots of available channels and good wifi speeds. Wish the fitness center had an elliptical machine. The breakfast was basic but got you going. Love the cookies and grab n go packages at the front desk. Also the coffee and fruit throughout the day in the lobby. Easy access off the highway. I've stayed at numerous places in fort st john and this place is very comfortable.

The hotel is clean and decorated nicely. The breakfast bar is full of options (e.g. pastries, cereal, hashbrowns, waffles, bacon, toast, drinks). The rooms are spacious, though I was near the elevator and facing the parking lot and could hear everything outside and in the hallway. I enjoyed the hot tub and workout space! I also liked that the hotel is a little on the outskirts of town, though some might prefer being more central.

Four of us were in Fort St. John to do some work with a landslide that occurred in Old Fort. The front desk person Melissa was fantastic. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The rooms were beautiful, new and clean....still had the new room smell. There is a lovely shower. The hotel is a little out of the way but in FSJ, out of the way is a 3 min drive to downtown so not a problem. Overall a wonderful stay in a very comfortable hotel.

We don't travel a lot but when we do we love staying at the hotel. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice decorated and always clean, bed is so comfortable. Breakfast is very good. Great price for these accommodations.

Very nice new hotel with large rooms with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch. The complimentary breakfast had a great selection of items and the hotel was very clean and a nice quiet location. This was our second time at this location and will definitely stay there again.

Very quiet and clean. Really Good breakfast that was included in our stay. The food was fresh even up until closing. Fruit and Special Coffee was available all day! The room we stayed in was amazing and worked really well for children. All the staff was friendly. 2 to 5 min drive to mall and restaurants. And the cookies by the front desk was a great touch!

Had to stay in Fort Saint John for 3 days and 2 nights, everything was great, staff are really nice, rooms cleans, all spaces are really nice. First room was not cleaned and staff gave a new one easily.

Great Bed and Pillows. Nice and quiet. Breakfast sausages are good. Waffle maker was down for a week though. Boo. Lol. Staff was excellent. Parking good. I think all hotels should have free shuttle to and from a good restaurant in case you decide to drink. This is well overdue. Revelstoke, BW has this option.

Fantastic customer service! Wonderful staff, be it kitchen, housekeepers, sales manager or general manager, who aim to ensure your stay is not only meeting your expectations, but supersede it. Our suite was beyond amazing. The bed was so comfortable, the room so very spacious and comfortable. We will be back!

A business associate and I stayed here for one night during a trip to Northern BC. The hotel is very new and in excellent condition externally. It has ample parking and very close, but not too close to the Alaska Highway. The lobby was very clean and the staff extra friendly. The rooms were very clean, very well equipped and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Internet was very fast and the room had more than sufficient power outlets. The breakfast was not quite up to the rest of the hotel's attributes, unfortunately, with no yogurt available and fewer items than I have come to expect with this level of hotel. I would not hesitate to stay here again, but a little more attention to the breakfast would be appreciated.

Stayed here on business / personal. Was so pleasantly surprised to see how well this hotel was being run. Checking in was a breeze , wish I could remember the sweet lady's name who checked us in. She was great. Offered us a discount just for being best western members . Gave us a great room because we had a large party travelling with us. The pool was open until 11:00 which was great for us because we arrived late. It was clean and most importantly WARM !!!!!! Pools can sometimes be on the colder side . This one was immaculately clean too!! They have a coffee machine in the lobby that makes laté , cappuccino, espresso, fresh ground coffee it was a very very nice feature . !!!!! Fresh cookies and fruit in the lobby !! The room was just as modern as most $300 a nite hotel rooms I've visited around the world . This hotel was worth every penny and more !!!! 10/10 all the way across the board !!!!!!

I was working in the area and was lucky enough to get a room for the week at the Ft St John Best Western. It's a little bit off of Hwy 97, but not hard to find. Lots of parking is available. The place is very clean and modern. The staff are so friendly and make sure you are totally comfortable. The rooms are very nice and roomy, a great shower, and super clean. I always have a awesome sleep when I stay at the Best Western, the have soft or firm pillows, and they are clearly marked. Prices are reasonable and it is not easy to get rooms because of the busy oil patch, and work in the area. So call and book ahead if your are planning on visiting the city.

We stayed one night on our drive up to Alaska. We had asked for a quiet room when we made reservations many months earlier. I know from experience this request is often ignored, but we were pleasantly surprised that the person at the counter gave us a free upgrade to a room on the top floor which was much quieter than our originally assigned room. That service really makes a difference. We couldn't hear anything through the walls but since we could still hear road noise, we kept the AC on all night and slept well. Our room was clean, quiet, and just what we needed after a long day on the road.

Hotel was new and very clean with a nice pool, decent breakfast and a nice quiet location. The price for this hotel was less than any of the newer hotels in FSJ, bed was great and the room was quite large with 2 queen beds and a pullout sofa which we didn't need to use. Bathroom had a nice stand up shower.

Stopped here on our second night in Canada while driving to Alaska with my son and his large dog. It was a very nice, new building with nice rooms and comfy beds. Since we had a large dog, we expected a stinky "pet-friendly" room but were given a regular room which was very nice. Slept well and enjoyed the free breakfast before continuing on our way.

They have the pool, hot tub, 24 hours access gym, with coin laundry and vending machine available. This is one of the full services provided in an affordable price, with a free flow of coffee, fruits and cookies for grabs. If you want to settle some business works, they have few pc available for doing so. Though it is pet friendly hotel, we didn't have any issue with leftover pet fur in the room. They have really comfy bed and pillows too, is worth to stay in if you are in need of a place to rest after a long tiring road trip.

I was very happy at this best western. The staff was very helpful and the hotel is extremely clean. The location is a little out of the activity in town so you can't walks to any quality restaurants or stores but it is a short drive.

Excellent service and loved that the room was clean with no odor. Easily fell asleep the room was almost sound proof. Then loved the fresh breakfast which they kept full even when we had a late breakfast.

Had to take a trip to Fort St John. Did not know much about the area so I saw some great pics of this hotel online. Totally lived up to the pics. In a quiet neighbourhood, friendly staff and the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in. Highly recommend!

Everything was fine until I went to take a shower in the morning prior to checkout. While in the shower I noticed blood and what I only hope was chunky peanut butter smeared on the shower walls. I got out of the shower right away. This place needs to learn proper cleaning and sanitizarion. If they miss something that obvious imagine the minor things they forget to clean such as linen, towels, etc. Would not recommend.

Had the best experience , the staff very friendly , special thanks to Melissa Bellaire at the front desk she was very helpful and so sweet. Good size rooms very clean . Nice breakfast, love the idea of the cookies and hot chocolate . Also liked the guest laundry very useful. Overall it was a great experience stayed there twice in a month.

This is a great hotel if you are staying in FSJ, super clean and tidy & great staff. Breakfast is very good with great coffee. If you looking for work based hotel, the rooms are large, well equipped with excellent wifi connection.

This hotel is really clean, has nice furniture (everything is new), has free hot breakfast, a fitness room, pool and a great hot tub. The staff were all really friendly and they gave me an envelope with a stamp so I could mail something. It was quiet as well. There is a little kitchen with the basics, which was really helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The Best Western Plus in For St. John is quite new and it shows. The decor is nice, clean and modern looking. During our stay the staff was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant experience. The morning breakfast buffet included was very good.

We were very impressed with this hotel from the minute we arrived. It is very new and very stylish. We had four people sharing a suite so it was a very good value especially since it included breakfast and the room was very luxurious. The TV in the room we were assigned wasn't working and when the woman from the front desk wasn't able to get it working either she immediately moved us to another suite a couple doors away so it wasn't a big deal for us to move our bags. The breakfast offerings were fantastic and far exceeded our expectations. They even had gluten-free bread and muffins and almond milk (which is very important to meet my dietary issues but I never expect to receive in a hotel). Our flight wasn't until later in the day so staff allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel after our check-out. The price included a free shuttle to the airport. An extremely good value!

Spotless rooms... very new hotel with a fantastic staff... they practically asked us to put our motorcycles in the lobby they wanted them so close. Great continental breakfast in the morning and close to food gas and other things while traveling... we ate at Mr Mikes on their recommendation... good choice!

I stayed at Best Western Plus Chateu in Fort St John in a recent business trip. Overall, great experience. Parking available, hotel located in an area with good access. Good breakfast, room. After a long working day, I had good relax.

You can tell this hotel is still new because things are all in good repair. Our standard room was well appointed, clean and spacious. We didn't use the kitchenette but we were grateful for the iron and ironing board. The breakfast exceeded expectations with two choices of eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, cereal and a waffle maker. You may have to request it be restocked if it is busy. And special thanks to the front desk staff who were very accommodating when we had flight issues and had to adjust our stay. Thanks.

Great hotel a little off the beaten track. Had a great sleep in a beautiful comfortable king size bed. Room was spotless with great amenities (fridge, coffee maker, microwave...stove top.) One of the best breakfasts we've had in a "free breakfast" situation. Lots of choices (although the eggs were a little overcooked and cool by the time we chose them.) Definitely worth the price we paid.

I had asked to guarantee the room, which they did with no fuss. Arrived late, they upgraded my room to a king size. Rooms were clean, great service, and a very complete breakfast offering. Front desk CSR very professional and courteous.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I was charged twice for one room - the exact same price charge twice on my credit card. I called to have this corrected; the front desk person was disrespectful and he and the manager continually argued with me. It appeared as though they were not interested in helping me to resolve the overcharge. I finally asked the manager to email her explanation of the situation. I still haven't heard from her or anyone else from the hotel. I'm now having to dispute the charges through my credit card company, which could take up to 45 days to resolve. NIGHTMARE!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

Recently here for one night for work. Not busy so allowed me to check in early also allowed me to use table in breakfast area for work. Room modern and comfortable. Decent breakfast with waffle maker. Some of hot food was only Luke warm. Decent gym with free weights. Hot tub was out of order indoor pool. Found road noise to be moderate.

The room had more than what we needed. There was a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and even a cook top and sink. There was always coffee in the lobby. All the staff was friendly. The hotel appeared to be very new. We had a great nights rest.

Very friendly and efficient staff plus excellent hotel for the price you pay. The rooms are very clean and tidy and spacious. It was easy to get to off of the Alaska highway. If you are looking for a great hotel to spend the night or a long stay this is the hotel for you well worth what it costs to stay. Plus the breakfast is top notch.

Stayed at this very nice hotel 3 night , beds were so comfy , well laid out rooms , large bathroom , nice lighting, very clean , great breakfast , all was excellent however the staff were certainly the stars, if I could give them 10 stars I would. First time staying at this Best Western. Only a year old and they have really thought through with the decor and ambience of the lobby. We were nicely surprised. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room as facing the road, which is a bit noisy, unfortunately. We just used the fan for white noise. Large room, modern, clean and very comfortable bed. Great shower! Had a mini kitchen too with a kettle so we were able to have our own tea. Small fridge which we stocked with milk/cream. Even had a conduction hot plate! Breakfast came with the room and there was a very good selection. Cappuccino machine in the lobby 24hrs - which we really enjoyed! Cookies at the desk AND a we were each given a 'grab n' go' bag for our long road trip home. Nice touch. They also put our ice blocks in the freezer for us. Definitely recommend.

The look and cleanliness of the hotel was very professional. Room was nice and big and had everything you could think of. Fast internet, entire kitchen, ironing board, the works. Reception was amazing. Friendly, attentative, went above and beyond. Have snack bags for your convenience which was a nice surprise. The only complaint was the location. Not walking distance to anything close by. However just a few minute drive to the mall and restaurants. Had a wonderful stay. This hotel completely blew our expectations out of the water.

We stayed here 4 nights and would stay again in a heartbeat. The property is new and modern, clean and well maintained - all common areas are well kept and clean + fresh baked cookies are offered as a daily treat (hubby loved them). Our room was a king on the 4th floor facing 86th street (we're not bothered by noise but note that the rooms across the hall face a quiet subdivision): it was spacious, furniture and fixtures were in excellent repair and all areas were very clean. The kitchenette was well stocked - the room had the feel of a studio condo but at a fraction of the cost. Breakfast was generous and well-prepared (although I would prefer fruit offered more frequently). The gym was compact but clean - I would prefer an elliptical but it was good enough. We didn't have time to try the pool/hot tub but it looked great. The staff were excellent and housekeeping thorough and prompt. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.

Traveled on business with My dog. They were very accommodating and gave my dog a welcome package but she was very excited to get. They had an awesome coffee machine downstairs that make cappuccino and espresso and breakfast was included. The pool and hot tub were a much needed activity after a Long Day's Drive. Very clean and the bedroom was very nice.

I stayed here for 5 days, when in town for work, in March, 2018. Part-way through it all, I fell and broke my leg. I already had a high opinion of the staff, but they all went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me. They took such good care of me, and put in a lot of time to try to get me what I needed. They all made life a lot easier for me as I wrapped up what I was doing and got ready to fly home. I cannot recommend them too much, particularly (but not only ) Jared, Shannon, Melissa, Chantelle and Lacie. The room was big, clean, well stocked, with a really comfy bed. A real 5-star experience.

The people here make the difference - Shannon was very accommodating! Along with the shuttle drivers: Jared & Hessian. The only grip would be the pool was too cold! Needs to be warmer than 70 degrees - had to stay in the hot tub! The gym and breakfast were both exceptional.

Staff is always friendly. The beds are comfortable. The rooms have always been clean and the Internet service is easy to connect to . There is a good verity of breakfast items and as you leave you may take a grab bag.

Super friendly staff. Checked in on a snowy evening. Was given a king room. Very spacious room and modern setup. Think the hotel is pretty new. Large feel to the place. Great fitness area with machines and free weights. The pool was oos but no big deal. Great TELUS TV with a large number of channels. Wifi a little slow for such a new place. A great included breakfast with so much hot food variety. Loved the breakfast burrito and crispy bacon. Very clean breakfast area. Coffee always available in the lobby with some fruit. As I checked out they offered me a grab and go bag and cookies for the road. Great since I got stuck on the highway waiting for an accident clear. Close to restaurants and easy access to the highway. Wonderful place too stay.

Best hotel on the alcan. Super comfy. Clean. If your in this area this is the hotel to stay at. Staff was helpful. There was room to park my pickup towing a large trailer and I was able to plug it in.

Stayed here and it is new and the value I thought was very good, everyone there was great to deal with. The hotel is a little off the Alaska Highway but worth looking for. They all go out of their way to help you with all aspects of your stay.

This hotel is beautiful! Super clean and friendly service. When I got in they had upgraded me to a beautiful King Suite. The Breakfast is absolutely excellent with tons of different offerings. The excercise room is really clean, the treadmill is a professional model which was very nice to use.

Did not inform us the pool was not working. No help from staff. Try to be more efficient in your advertising upon checking in. We would like to have retribution. We are very disappointed. My son loves to swim and was very upset that he could not use pool.

This new property in Fort St John is of easy access off both the Alaska Hwy and 100th St. The rooms are very spacious and nicely appointed, temperature inside the room is controllable and just perfect. Breakfast is good. I'd highly recommend this property. It is getting a restaurant in April 2018 and this will make it a really convenient spot.

We booked this hotel for our daughter's 14th birthday party. It was a great alternative to having a sleepover as we live out in the country. The hotel was lovely. New, clean, well lit, and great service. The pool was out of order at the time so we made use of the rental movies on the TV. Our stay was very nice ??

My co worker and I stayed here last night. WE both had king rooms and we both were very impressed with our rooms. Very clean, nice and new, hot plate, microwave, fridge, everything you need if you would like to cook in your room. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausages, waffles, yogurts, breads, bagels, juices, coffee etc everything you need for a good hearty breakfast. Front desk staff excellent plenty of parking. The only con for my room I could hear everything from the front desk in room 223. Overall one of the best rooms and hotels I have stayed at in my travels.

This hotel opened a year ago and has had a few gremlins that they have had to work out however, they are doing a great job now and my stays lately have been great! Now they just have to get the Hot tub and pool working again and it will be perfect.

this hotel has a great location and easy to find with all the amenities that you need, plus good restaurants close by walking or driving distance, parking is great for easy access, and the staff was awesome as well just an overall great stay.

This is a newer hotel - the rooms are very, very clean. The Bath towels are real thick bath towels (not a small cheese cloth as supplied by other hotels). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The best think I liked about this hotel is there morning breakfast (supplied free with your room). Breakfast is so important that I can say without a doubt, this hotel hit the excellence mark bang on ! ! They had three types of meat, fresh eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, great fresh coffee that would give Starbucks a run for their money. and lots of pastry. I stay in about 50 hotel rooms each year and I can say without a doubt this hotel supplied the best breakfast ever. You will not regret staying here.

I am not surprised to see so many people giving this place the 5 stars as a review on this site. It absolutely deserves it! I was Wowed the second I walked in the lobby with the staff playfully fighting over who was going to help me. Melissa the one who did help me was very witty, professional and a great sense of humor. It is people like that who you want to keep as ambassadors for your business. I strongly recommend this place to the pass through travelers or the working man for sure.

Holy cow! I admit, when I think "Best Western" I think economy lodging. Clean, safe, and inexpensive. Chateau Fort St. John blew away my expectations. The value I got for my stay was excellent. FSJ is an industral town, so I expect lodging to be a little more expensive than other cities, so that's alright. But when I got to my room, I thought I had been accidentally upgraded to a suite. There was a small kitchen with a cook top, microwave, and fridge. The room was comfortable, plenty of space, and quiet. Perfect. The free breakfast was the best I've ever had. I had heard it was good, and you expect the usual baked goods, toast, cereal. But they had waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns. The coffee was tasty and fresh (and they have a coffee machine in the lobby 24/7. What a great way to start my day. Absolutely I would stay here again if I find myself in FSJ.

I recommend this Best Western overall compared to other hotel's in the vicinity You won't be disappointed. Family friendly and compatability with those with out children. However, I will be back in the summer of 2018 and will be bringing my family too!

We had booked 10 rooms for a Midget aged hockey club. Check in was seamless. Breakfast was excellent. Parking lot is not bus friendly, but our driver managed to make it work. Very happy and will be back.

DFI as a group of employees have stayed many nights at the Best Western Inns and Suites in Fort St John BC and have found them to very accommodating, rooms have been very clean,amenities have been plentiful and we all have no reason not to continue staying there.

Hotel seems fairly new and well maintained. Desk staff were nice and helpful. The room was quite large with a kitchenette. It was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was very small but usable you couldn't get 2 people in at the same time though. Enjoyed our stay here and this would be our choice next time.

We have stayed there 2 different nights over the last 2 weeks (October 2017). Staff on check in was excellent. The hotel rooms are very modern, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast has a lot of variety and very good food. Great coffee and tea available too! The only drawback is there are no restaurants or convenience stores close by. But that is very minor.

I have stayed at several Fort St. John properties but in order to review this location semi-adequately, I need to stack it up against some of the finest boutique hotels I have experienced. This is an incredible property and if you are looking for a slice of heaven in this northern city, try it on for size. Using "tripadvisor" as a guide, I called from the highway and was connected to Bailey on the front desk. If I had been on the fence when deciding which hotel to contact as I passed Taylor, she was going to make it all work. I winced initially at the price but I could hear her smile as she worked a different number. "The pool is closed for repair so let me see what I can do?" Most hotels that count me as a guest, usually ask me at check-in NOT to wear a swimsuit while staying with them. If a non-functioning pool meant I could shave a few dollars from my over night, plus assure that I would NOT be required to strap on my Speedo, that just made it all seem oddly satisfying. Bailey told me I only need turn right at the first set of lights coming into town and, my home away from home would be impossible to miss. A short time later, Bailey was there at the front desk to great me. It was like coming home! Sign-in completed, I turned toward the elevators but not before Bailey had pressed a Goody Bag into my hands. Just a little "Best Western Plus" something to decompress from the long drive! I was totally unprepared for what lay hidden behind my room door. There is a kitchen area but this one is unlike anything I am used to seeing in such set-ups. Next to a custom built square sink, is a glass stove top matched with an oversize microwave and huge Samsung Mini-Fridge. The cupboards are stacked with everything required to pull off a major feast, from preparation to consuming an elegant spread. You would be forgiven for not remembering this is a hotel room! The windows can be opened to allow fresh air and there is a large seating area with a very comfortable lounge chair complete with matching ottoman (just in case the long drive demanded I put my feet up while finally tackling my newspaper?). The mega comfortable king size bed had LED reading lights, absolutely perfect for finishing a novel while not lighting an entire room. The bathroom featured an enormous walk-in shower and I could not help but wonder why a luxury hotel room in Fort St. John, would need to have a shower that could accommodate four or five people? I could not resist lifting the toilet seat several times, simply to watch it very slowly and quietly, return it to its closed position. Simple things for simple people they say! But my Best Western Plus was not done with me because breakfast was more like a feast. Watched over by another perpetually friendly staff member, dishes were refilled and tables cleaned as if by magic. I wasn't sure how much bacon was going to see me safely back to Sherwood Park but I think I was aiming for something around a kilo. Eggs, sausage, juice and coffee would be needed to finish the job but leaving this property felt sad until I reminded myself that I will be back! Regardless of what is one your list for visiting this northern city, The Best Western Plus is something that you want to have on your wish list. You will be glad you did!

Easy access to Alaska Highway, plenty of parking, and a good (but not great) breakfast buffet (scrambled eggs, egg burritos, mini omelets, hashbrowns, bacon, 2 types of sausage, with the usual bread-cereal-muffin offerings). The hotel pool and spa were closed during our stay, although they appear clean and the pool has underwater lighting that cycles through colours, if that floats your boat. The gym had an elliptical, a spinning cycle, a treadmill, a recumbent bike, a good quality pulley machine and a bench with free weights from 5 through 60+ lbs.

Stayed at the Best Western to visit family and we enjoy staying at the Best Western hotels because they are clean and good value. The service was good and friendly and the room was in clean and well appointed. The only complaints I have would be the fire alarm at 6:00 am which is beyond the hotel's control and the pool and whirl pool were not in operation which I would have appreciated having some advance warning on. The compliments I would have would be the excellent bed and friendly staff.

Very friendly staff and the rooms are very nice. Clean and well maintained. Excellent breakfast setup. I liked the to bag they have every day. (bottle water, energy bar and fruit. Nice touch to get your day started.

People very friendly and knew their jobs. Bus driver took us where we needed to go. Rooms where large and clean. .Nice beds had a good sleep. Would gladly stay again. Great breakfast better than some restaurants

The beds are confortable and service is amazing the brackfast was excellent! The manager Mr kirishan super respectful and friendly! I was there 10 nights! Very happy and satisfied! This hotel is a welcome addition to the hospitality scene in Fort St John. Being a fan of the Best Western brand, I did not think twice about booking at this property. However, being a frequent guest at BW properties also creates a benchmark of expectations. I am happy to say that the hotel and service in FT St John measures up to the high standards I expect from Best Western. Breakfast was good to excellent. Hot tub and Pool area were good, rooms were new and clean. Best of all, Staff was excellent. Only drawback - there are not a lot of restaurants within walking distance. Off site restaurants are all a short drive away. Other than that issue, this is a winner.

We stayed for 3 nights & were extremely satisfied with this hotel. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant & cheerful. Melissa at the front desk was very efficient as well as super friendly. She definitely went "above & beyond" to instruct my husband on how to stream a live Gaelic football match on the TV as well as to remove a splinter I had gotten earlier at a different location. Thanks Melissa! We would definitely stay here again.

I visit Fort St. John due to my work regularly at least after every two months. The Hotel which i used to stay was OK . In March 2017 I couldn't get the booking in my selected hotel as it was busy. So i got the room at Best Western. Lacy was the polite person who showed the high level of courtesy to accommodate my booking with an upgrade to a King suite. On March 21, 2017 when i was checking out again there was Lacy at the Counter. She gave me the heads up about extreme weather conditions and instructions which covered from walking in the hotel's Parking lot to a severe winter conditions driving.. From that day till now I stay at Best Western whenever i visit Fort St.John. Right now i am staying at the Best Western and writing the review while relaxing in the Lobby. Thank you very much Lacy.for all of your Gratitude.

We stayed her twice on our trip up the Alaska Highway. The Chateau Fort St. John is a new facility. The rooms are clean comfortable and quiet. The staff there are very pleasant and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel when in Fort.St. John

If you are in this area or mind if close, don't drive around..just go to this hotel. It was amazing. Can't describe in a short amount of all it has...just use your imagination. Need more like this one.

friendly staff, clean room, nice hot tub, great breakfast and ready before 6am,all at affordable price. this meant a lot because was tired from a 16 hour work day and had to get up early so the hot tub was a welcome addition as was the excellent burrito breakfast prepared hot before 6 am.

Ken, Bailey and Staff are so accommodating and friendly. Rooms are exceptionally clean. The complimentary breakfast is unbelievable - so many choices and so delicious. Large conference room to hold any business meetings or events - with all the amenities needed. This is the only place I would recommend to stay while in Fort St. John!! Such a great stay! Rates are wonderful and staff are so friendly! The pool/hot tub were really clean. The rooms are big and spacious. When staying in the hotel the staff always asked how we were and also suggested things to do around Fort St.John also dinner ideas. Thank you for the great experience and home away from home!!

This hotel is new therefore all amenities are looking great. Beds are all new and comfortable. Staff are well trained and friendly. Don't do hotel continental breakfasts so no review. Overall pretty good place to stay for the price. Footsteps in the nigh from upstairs, not good quality construction.

Hotel was nice, the rooms great but the washroom too small. Breakfast was average. The free coffee machine was nice and the internet was fast, TV had a nice choice of channels. The kitchen and the room was nicely layout and the furniture was clean and nice

Always a great and friendly stay when in Fort St John, rooms are spotless, people are friendly and I always get greeted by name. it is the only hotel I will stay at while in Fort St John, Best Western has certainly come a long way over the last several years.

Hotel was very nice, and clean. Pool and hottub were perfect for playing with kids (2-4ft deep). Breakfast was much more than I expected, a nice surprise was delicious roasted potato wedges and a waffle station. The in room wifi was also great, full high speed internet access.

nice and new hotel in the middle of residential area. will recommend. certainly you will get your moneys worth. room decor is so cool and i had the room with a kitchenette and all utensils are available and are at par.

The staff at this hotel were very polite and helpful however when I lost my wallet the manager was completely useless in getting it back to me. Sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable for the high price of the hotel. The breakfast was fantastic though, and there was actually a little bagged lunch which was convenient. We work in town frequently and the location is great for the site we are on. I would have recommended this hotel to other workers but now will tell everyone to drive further into town instead of staying here.

The hotel was new and very clean and well kept. The decor was bright and different, a nice change. Lovely pictures of the north. The service was excellent, everyone very pleasant. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed with a great little kitchen. The only disappointment was that the dishes were dirty requiring me to rewash before use. Maybe the staff could check before new arrivals. Otherwise great stay.

What a place of class, just absolute care taking at its best. From the moment you walk in you can see, and smell that this place is Top of the hotel chains. The people are just fantastic, they listen and do their very best to make your stay one that will tell others about.Breakfast this is more like a buffet so much items to choose from and fresh. Krishna is the man at the front desk that has a charm of letting you know your important, his greeting as you walk into and or leave is always with a genuine smile. We traveled to Ft St John for a family emergency. We booked into the best western for a night then booked for an additional 2 nights. The stay was our oasis to come back to and relax and get much needed sleep. Their breakfast was far beyond our expectations delicious assortment for everyone. We travelled with other relatives with children. I am a vegetarian and there was something for everyone. The breakfast lady Audrey was amazing she was so accommodating and friendly. Front desk staff Bailey and Melissa were exceptional. We were able to rebook into the same rooms the next 2 nights without a problem. Made our stay easier as we were there on tragic family business. Loved everything it was like coming home every time we came through the doors. They even had to go brown bags of food at the front desk. Well done Best Western. Hope to come back again for a holiday next time. I work for a hotel myself and they were above and beyond.

A fantastic experience! We had never stayed in a Best Western Plus motel before, but this certainly would be at the top of all the places we've ever stayed during our travels across Canada! Keep up the great work and customer service!

I have been staying Here for three months for work. The rooms are great with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hotel The staff is what makes this place extra special. I'd Especially like to mention a Melissa at the front desk. She makes it feel like a home away from home. Smiling and friendly, and Has done so many little things that makes being away from home for so long not so bad.

The hotel staff are some of the most dedicated and considerate professionals I have had to deal with. Every complication i had with check in, which were my fault, were more than adequately addressed. The room was clean, organized, and professional just like the staff.

This is one of the nicest hotel rooms we have stayed at, so impressed, would recommend to anyone. Very clean and comfortable. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice and the cupboards were full of clean dishes and cookware . This room you can cook in too. Beds were very comfortable as well. Staff was very helpful.

Everything was great at the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the decor was amazing. Room was very spacious and the internet was fast. Beds were sooooo comfortable. Breakfast was bigger than I expected and it all tasted great! No complaints here!

I stayed here for roughly two months on and off over the past few months for work. I found the rooms to be very clean and the amenities were sufficient. No freezer in the room but the stove top and cookware were sufficient for simple meals and for preparing lunches for the next day. Overall the experience was a good one and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The service we received was excellent. Very warm and welcoming staff members, especially Krishna! He really helped us feel at home and went out of his way to answer any questions or concerns we had regarding the area and guiding us through the town. Pleased with the size of the rooms, great gym and pool, and breakfast was delicious plus had many varieties.

I have stayed at many different hotels in Fort St John. This one was by far the nicest. the rooms were beautiful, with a small kitchenette that included an induction stovetop. When I return to FSJ I will undoubtably be staying at the BW again.

Been staying up there so far for 3 months for work. The hotel is clean, the staff are very friendly, rooms are beautiful. Couldn't ask for better service. Very acomadating with pets. By the sounds of talking to other co-workers at other hotels definitely the nicest and best hotel to stay at in town!

Very nice new hotel with up-scale decor and features. Reasonable priced for what you get. I have spent lots more at higher-end hotels and they were not as nice. Friendly and helpful staff. Our king room was roomy and very comfortable. Had a mini kitchen with higher-end features. Bathroom was very clean and modern. Would like to say everything was near perfect...however, even though the complimentary breakfast had many options (much more than most), the hot steamer items were anything but hot...more lukewarm, if that. Maybe this was just an off-day...let's hope. If not, turn the heat up...cold eggs, don't cut it.

Stayed in the Hotel for business purpose. Hotel and room was very clean. Room was equipped with kitchenette. Breakfast in the morning was helpful and even on request can be packed. Hotel is conveniently located near Walmart, A&W and some good restaurants.

It's what you would expect from a BW. Modern rooms and friendly staff.When I called they were willing to negotiate s good price. Power went out, nobodies fault, and the staff were running around doing there best to help the guest, Good Job guys! One thing: if road noise bothers you be sure to ask for a room on the back side.

Clean. Nice staff. 24/7 expresso machine in the lobby. Pet friendly. Pool is small, but was sufficient for my 3 kids. The hot tub was clean and nice, too. Laundry is $3 for washer and $2 for dryer, located on the 3rd floor. Beds were comfy. Loved it!

We stayed at the Best Western in Fort St. John with 3 lacrosse teams and the hotel staff were amazing. They helped accommodate all of our requests and went out of their way to provide us with amazing customer service. There were many times that they went out of their way to be helpful and at the same time were friendly even with 30 high energy boys running around the hotel.

Room was great, bathroom was cramped though. High speed internet and optic cable service. Lots to offer for breakfast though we didn't try it. Coffee was good, keurig in the room. Bed was very comfortable.

BW in Dawson creek renewed our appreciation for Best Western. The facilities were top notch and the service was excellent. Front desk was extremely Helpful in securing a hotel room at our next stop.Would not hesitate to stay there again next time we are in Fort St John.

It's a nice and new place in Ft St John. Walking into the hotel was not very impressive. The parking lot was covered a in mud. Motorcycles lined the entrance way. With my bags I had to maneuver around the motorcycles. A bunch of people were standing and sitting around their bikes with open beer bottles and smoking right in front of the door. As a non smoker I had to walk though this smoke into the building. I was not impressed with this process. Bikes blocking the walk into the hotel, open liquor and tabbaco smoke. I could have done without any of this specially with children. Check in was OK although I had to wait a bit until service. This hotel, like others in the area, cater to work crews. You will find crews walking around in very dirty work clothing etc In all the hotel is nice and the price is right. But management needs to look into the above mentioned problems.

Decided to spend a night at this new hotel, was greeted by Melissa at the door and felt like I was their favorite guest returning. First class customer service. This hotel is very nice, clean and has a lot to offer. Excellent breakfast, gym and pool. This was a 5-star experience, can't wait to come back.

I stayed at this hotel for about six weeks in May/June 2017. The staff was unbelievable and the customer service was first class. Particularly Krishna, who went out of his way to greet all visitors and helped them with any concerns and questions they had.

Great hotel. I have been to a lot of BW's this is by far the most elegant one I've been to. Clean modern new. Would definitely recommend. Close to a lot of good restaurants. Has a small kitchenette, large shower.

Beginning the day on the east coast at 5 a.m. and crossing many time zones , I arrived at BW Plus at 3p.m. I had managed to get a cab to the wrong hotel. (But really the right one :). I received a very friendly welcome from 3 young staff including a VERY patient Melissa at the reception desk .She pulled out all the bells and whistles getting my money back from the original hotel, organizing my transportation to the airport the next day, recommending pizza shops, finding me a corkscrew ....on and on it went. We made reservations at this new hotel a couple of months in advance to be sure of a room. The front desk was very helpful at that time giving me a very good price and answering all my inquiries. Upon our arrival we were delighted with our accommodations. We had our dog Kali along and we were placed near an outside exit for ease of taking her for a walk when necessary. We were even presented with a 'goody bag' for Kali with treats and a toy, which of course she liked. The rooms were spotless and the kitchen was so very well equipped with dishes, cutlery, glassware, toaster, kettle, coffeemaker, fridge, induction stovetop and microwave. The beds were really comfy and the linens bright and fresh. Breakfast was included and they had a very good selection from freshly made waffles to oatmeal, sausage patties to scrambled eggs, juices, tea coffee and sweet buns. I would not hesitate to stay here again. My one complaint and it has everything to do with hotel guests with dogs! Why don't they clean up after their dogs?!? The hotel provided bags for clean up but it was very evident from the mess on the side lawn that many ignored Fidos offerings.

Beautiful new hotel, great staff and a warm quality breakfast in the am. I really like the showers in the bathroom, in replacement of the tub/shower combo. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. I will be staying here again on my next travel date in FSJ!

Spent a week here on business. Great hotel; great staff. I'd stay there again if I ever go back to the area...Great place to visit but don't know if I'd want to live in the area. Not much to do around town. The scenery was absolutely 'stunning'!! the overlook of the Peace River will almost take your breath away and the peace an quiet of that overlook was absolutely astounding. Great place to go for just about any reason. Just be careful not to get too close to the edge, or you wouldn't stop bouncing on you way down until you reached the bottom.

I was delighted by this little gem just off the strip. Very clean, very modern and a very helpful staff this is definatly my new spot in fort st john. The Best Western rewards program is a great incentive program as well. Thanks Best Western

The rooms were beautiful, the beds were so comfortable! very clean. Kailey at the front desk was very helpful when I could not figure out my Tv and brought up a mop when our son got sick in the bathroom even though it was close to midnight. Very good prices! I would definitely recommend

What a great place to stay while in Fort St. John. Clean hotel with great rooms. I stayed in a kitchenette, as I like to cook instead of eating in restaurants all the time. The room size was large and everything was planned out nicely. The only issue was there was no cutlery in the drawer, but fortunately, I carry some when I travel, so I was ok.

Everything was pretty good, beautiful hotel. Room décor is a little dark. Breakfast was good. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Parking lot was not cleared for days so vehicles pulled up under external roof at entrance and choked us out while we waited to get our vehicle nearby to pack up.

Newly opened motel and reasonably priced for Ft St John. Fenced parking lot might help keep vehicles safe? Rooms in nice condition. Ashley at the front desk was a great help with reservation and check in. Breakfast was hot(not like some places). Overall was a nice,quiet room for the night.

New hotel, my 1st stay. Only note would be a few more breakfast items would be nice... Off the Alaska hwy (thus no truck noise). Good parking (even with a trailer). They recognsed my "Diamond" status & upgraded my room! Recommended.

This Best Western hotel is great. Staff are friendly. There are a lot of choices at breakfast. Rooms are new and very comfortable. They are also accommodating in regards to later check out times. Will definitely book this hotel again.

I usually stay at the Microtel, Wyndham rewards member, however decided to go to this Best Western and was not disappointed! I will be tearing up my BW points in FSJ from now on. The fact it has a nice big hot tub makes it that much better!

I often use a hot tub after work and was disappointed to find that this hot tub was being repaired. Not sure how long this repair has been in the process, but it would sure be nice to see that it has been repaired should I return to Fort St. John. I stayed in room 331 which was large and comfortable; however, it only had a shower. I will be sure to request a room with a bath tub especially if the hot tub is not working. This is one of the few hotels where I have found a Coke machine. I was tickled pink. Most are Pepsi. Thank you BW.
