Best Western Hotel Fairmont, Fairmont

Perfect family hotel! Clean rooms & building, perfect pool & youth lounge area. Attached to awesome bar & restaurant. Shout out to Lyn & Jenna at the front desk for going above & beyond to accommodate my families needs when our car broke down after we checked out. You are forever our Minnesota hero's. In addition, shout out to the amazing Morgan in the bar/restaurant and all the other staff we met throughout our stay. Five stars for this location!

Excellent hotel, nothing to complain about. Friendly front desk staff . Room was very very clean and bed was very comfortable. Convenient as it was right off the freeway. Pleasant restaurant attached with friendly, competent wait staff. Bar type food, but good.

Old school Holiday Inn with pool, full restaurant and bar. The facility layout is a little dated but maintained well. The rooms are regularly updated with new beds and decor. A few years ago they installed an elevator, so getting luggage up to the second floor isn't such a hassle. The bar and restaurant (Green Mill) are nice. Lots of locals use these so they don't have the typical lonely feel of hotel amenities. The room rates are pretty high, but typical for the area. Convenient to I-90, but 1-2 miles from downtown Fairmont businesses. Staff is friendly and helpful.

overpriced for what you get, beds were uncomfortable, found dirty masks and loose change by bed, very noisy at pool side til around 11:30, made it hard to get a 4 yr old to sleep! they tried overcharging for the room other than what i was quoted, restaurant was over priced for mediocre food! waitress very unattentive, brought our salad and appetizers , walked away didnt come back for awhile so we had to find our own silverware! no breakfast was a joke! beds were too high for a little one so i asked for a rollaway bed, got charged extra for it, ridiculous!!! hot tub in pool area had a dirty bottom (floor) grose!

The room reeked of mildew and cigarette smoke even though the hotel is non smoking. The carpets were dark and looked old, unsure of how clean they were. The front desk was very helpful and let us test out several different rooms to make sure the smell was ok. Got a room close to the pool. Chlorine smell is better than cigarette smell. The beds were comfy and sheets looked very clean. All in all, would not recommend.

Ok if you can tolerate dogs! The minute We stepped foot in our room all you smelt was dog urine. It was so strong. Especially in front of the door. Definitely would not stay here again. Normally I would have made them give us a new room but because of the whole Covid thing I wasn't sure if they where social distancing between guest rooms or having rooms sit empty certain amount of days between guest arriving so I decided it was better to suck it up & warn others with allergies & non pet owners about this!!!
