Je m’inscris "This place may look nice but it leaves a LOT to be desired. From dog crap on the walkways, cracked sinks, leftover food in the refrigerator, TV issues, A/C problems, this is one place to drive right by. Stopped by on a business trip, the pictures online looked "ok" but the reality quite different. Check out the pictures for what you may likely find at this place. • Found Dog Crap outside my door, no one bothers to pick it up. • You should carry an umbrella because A/C condensation drips everywhere, from the second floor, everywhere. There are rust stains and bags everywhere from condensation dripping. • The room had a stench and it was coming from the fridge. Opening it, I found 2 POUNDS of Genoa Salami, gawd knows how long it was in there, but gag...it was putrid. • The "Rules" of the hotel were in a plastic sleeve with MOLD. Nice. • The bathroom sink bowl had a huge crack in it. • Lamps and appliances all have rust on them, lampshades filthy. Paint peeling everywhere, bathroom ceiling has water damage spots, ready to cave in. • The A/C unit has remote control but the remote didn't work to control it. I went down to the front desk to see if they had fresh batteries or a different remote. To his credit, the front desk guy did go look for another, even went through some other rooms to steal one of of another room, but ultimately he came up empty. Guess non-functional remotes are common at this hotel, so adjusting the A/C temps were a problem, not that they seem to care about anything at this place. I mean, if I can find all these things wrong in less than 10 minutes of arriving, WHY CAN'T THEY SEE THE OBVIOUS? IF I could give it ZERO stars I would. I wouldn't stay here if they offered a free stay, it was awful. After the fact they offered a 15% discount or something, but if I was dead, I wouldn't let my body stay at this place, discount or not."
Clean! Newly renovated! Great air conditioning! No stains! NO BUGS! We almost passed this by because of a previous review, but we were glad we stayed here. Very friendly young man at the desk was so helpful. Many places to eat nearby, including a steak place we walked to. This is a great place for the price, which was within our budget. I rarely write a review but I wanted to “set the record straight” on this one.
This hotel is always great, check in very nice & helpful Room very clean even pet friendly Rugs cleaned each time after pets leave AC very cool Love the pool, breakfast & Steak restaurant next store & restaurants nearby My mom liked the room too & she very critical like me Seating area in room was a bonus
This Hotel seemed clean and a great stop before Nashville! We went to Loretta Lynn's Ranch and it was the perfect location just east of our destination. Would stay again as good food locations nearby! The front desk clerk was so helpful and nice also 😊
Saw a few roaches, water leak stains on the ceiling, tile pulled back in bathroom, wrong toilet bowl cover, running toilet, clean sheets I think, but had stains on both sets, daisy chain outlets, dusty and rusty ironing board, curtains with holes in them. New furniture, but a mix match to overall room quality. Wouldn't stay here again.
It was a nice stay. The front desk check in and check out were very courteous. The room was clean and have a good relaxing space and just right cute furnitures. Thand you very much. Your staff are gems. More power to you!
Came into town for a banana ball game and chose to stay outside of the major city. Chose your hotel because of price and availability and wasn't let down. Beds were comfy and kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast saved me a meal daily and wasn't so bad.
Hotel was nice and clean. It was a good location because close to the main road and on the way to Nashville.
Its Ok. We just stayed here while visiting family in the area. The free breakfast is ok. They have an outdoor pool, but, it wasnt yet open.. over Memorial Day weekend... when its in the 80's outside.. the room was ok, with some updates, but, while showering, you can feel that there was some damage on the tub floor, like a hole in the floor, and they've tried to mask it w/ some cosmetic work. This place is almost always a little cheaper than other area hotels by $30-50.. but, it might be time to start paying the extra money and stay elsewhere. If your outdoor pool isnt going to be open at any point during the summer, it should be stated on your website.
We needed a hotel that was easy access off of I-20 for our one-night stay. It was clean, quiet, and we slept well.
Hamish at the front desk was super helpful. Staff was very kind and knowledgeable. My room was clean and the location was quiet.
They knowingly put me in a room with a bath with hole big hole broken into the bottom of the bathtub that they tried to cover with a rubber bathmat ! Subsequently I slipped and cut my foot ! When went to the lobby they couldn't keep a straight face when I mentioned the issue ! It was very clear they were aware of the issue ! It was in room #120 it is a king room , so they moved me to a double queen room which I didn't want ! They were speaking about me in a language I do not understand ! I found it very upsetting to be treated this way ! Probably never ever stay there again ! I won't be recommending it to my colleagues anymore either ! Very insulting ! Very disrespectful ! Very disappointed !
Very nice very clean location a plus close to interstate.safe, accomodations, locals, please come here.you will not be disappointed.like i said very friendly and i feel. Like I met good people and people who actually care
Employees must be writing the reviews. Nasty MOTEL. Smelled so bad we could barely stand to be in the room. Mold on the bathroom ceiling and walls . Charged me $200 for one night for a trashy $80 a night motel -no choice since there with a wedding party. Just awful. Took a shower as soon as we got back home because we felt so gross
The staff were kind, helpful and very polite. The room looked like a picture out of a magazine. However, roaches were coming out of everywhere. The tv, sinks, and the outlets. My dog ate a few himself. We had to leave our bags in our car to stop the spread.
We were attending a wedding at a nearby venue and this was a great location. The hotel was very clean and the provided breakfast was delicious. If in this area again I would stay at this Best Western.
Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Internet worked well. Staff was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Refilled very timely and quickly. Very satisfied. I would recommend staying at this hotel. I have actually stayed here at least 4 times.
Apparently this hotel was an Economic Lodge and it is not the standard we usually get at Quality Inn. The front area is torn up and inaccessible. The room was small for a handicap accessible room. However, there was new carpet and the baton as been totally remodeled. It was very nice. The furniture was old and the edges were all scraped. One lampshade was soiled and the front door was in need of paint or a new door. Considering the price they charged, it definitely was not worth it.
I'm shocked that this hotel has good reviews. My room smelled, was dirty, had old uncomfortable beds, needed a complete renovation, and had an extremely loud AC. In DIRE need of a renovation. I paid way too much for a dump. For the quality of the room, I should have paid HALF what I paid. I DO NOT recommend.
Just stayed here last night. With family in town, we visit and stay here roughly 6 times/year. On this stay, the little things added up. First, the clerk never acknowledged my platinum member status.. and then, once we got into the room, I see the smaller TV... Whats up with that? Shrinkflation on a hotel TV?? I watched sports for an hour or so, thinking "this sucks".. Every hotel these days is over priced, including this one.. for the price paid, platinum members should always get their freebies, and bring back the bigger TV's that I'm used to. I'm currently sitting in an Embassy Suites in Alabama because I'm also a Hilton member. Got my goodie bag down here.. maybe its time to take a look at the Hampton Inn next time I visit Dickson.
Noise level from outside was less than I expected, given that the room opens to the parking lot rather than an inside hallway. Small room but space was used very efficiently. Breakfast buffet was nothing special - but not bad. Price was a little higher than I expected for the nature of the property- sign of the times, I guess.
I was very happy with this hotel. I was in the middle of a long road trip and needed to stop for the night. It was pretty late (1 am) but the check-in went very easily and I was in the comfortable bed in no time. It was conveniently located just off the freeway but the room was surprisingly quiet. Great night's sleep.
Not a new place, but it's clean and comfortable with everything working. Conveniently located next door to a Logan's Roadhouse. Has plenty of counter space in the bath area, and a small couch and chair near the beds.
Nice room, for the most part. The sink & toilet were dirty, however, with something sticky on the sink counter & dry stool on the under side of the toilet seat & toilet rim. The coffee maker only worked if the brew button was held in manually during the entire brew cycle. Staff at the desk were pleasant & the lady working when I checked in was especially helpful. Bed was comfortable & seemed clean.
From check in to check out - this place was the best. The room was clean, well equipped and quite large. The little rolling table in our room was perfect for dining and playing dominoes at the end of a busy day. We loved our stay here and hope to return next time we are heading south for another adventure! The staff here were also the best - helpful, polite and professional!
When I went to make down the bed, sheets had not been changed. I called the desk, and told we could move to another room-not a king. Unpacked already-not an option. I asked for everything for the bed and only brought sheets. Desk clerk next morning was horrified. She sent pics to owner. He called me later in the dayand was no help. He kept asking if I expected someone to change the sheets. He offered to give me 20% off our next stay-no way. He did credit me 20% on my card. Don't stay here. NASTY!
First time that we stayed at this hotel and enjoyed it. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable allowing for a good night sleep. The free breakfast was very good. We would stay here again.
I was a bit hesitant as the area around the hotel is a bit lacking but the room and breakfast was very nice. Appears to have been recently updated and was very clean. Got a lower room for a change and was able to park right outside our door. (Note this is an outdoor access rooms, no elevators) They were power washing the walkways but stopped before evening. Was a bit disappointed they did not offer the BW membership waters but not a deal breaker. If I had needed them I would have asked. There is a Logan's on one side and gas station on the other. Right off the highway so easy stop when need just a stop over. Many restaurants and businesses about 10-15 mins away for lots of choices for dinner, also if I remember correctly a Cracker Barrell across the road.
1st floor room. Parked right in front of room. Room clean, large, bed very comfortable for 2 medium build adults. All amenities fully functional. Room cooling wasn't too loud. Breakfast choices hot and cold. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. 3 star hotel worthy.
We dropped off our daughter at college and are making the drive back home (TN to CA) but we decided to head out of town a bit to get a head start on our drive - we ended up staying at this hotel and it was great, because it was right next to a restaurant. This hotel was very clean at first look, but then I wanted to set my phone/glasses down on the nightstand and saw 3 cup ring markings on the nightstand - that tells me it obviously didn't get cleaned, so then I started overthinking on what else might not be clean? Thankfully I had a whole tub of disinfectant wipes in the car, so I just wiped down the nightstand and the markings came right off so, no excuse on why they we're there - I am not super picky usually, but we all know with this virus things should feel clean and be disinfected! Also the sink clogged and water drained very slowly - which is kinda gross when you brush your teeth etc! Overall the stay was very comfortable and breakfast was appreciated and plenty for us! I would definitely stay there again if our travels take us through that area!
Considering it is the "old style" motel with the room entrance door open to the outside I would rate it above average. Some people are turned off by this sort of room entrance, I like it. Most of these style motels are in need of remodel but this one was good. The room was larger than most. The AC in room 113 made a noise but we still slept well. Lighting was OK. Refrigerator had not freezer. It was typical size, I have seen smaller. Bed was good and room was clean. Location was good as it had a traffic light at the turn so easy in and out. Watch out for the bad hump at the RR track. There was a Logan's next door with excellent food and service.
the room was smelling, (like wet dogs), the hot water on the sink was turned off, the carpet had stains and was filthy, The bed was old and sank in the middle. We have stayed here before while traveling but will not again.
This is a 2 level motel style with your room door opening to the outside and no elevator. The rooms are small and the beds and linens are older. The outdoor pool is very nice and the hot breakfast was good with many choices. The staff was very friendly.
This motel is very convenient for us to visit family in the area. It is an older facility but pretty well maintained and the staff is very friendly even though they failed to point out our rewards membership. Will stay there again.
I booked a room for me and my veteran husband in advance by phone and got exactly what I ordered when we arrived - downstairs handicap room, spacious, clean, all amenities, and an excellent hot breakfast for my keto-diet-hubby. Staff polite, helpful, everything just as it should be -- thanks!
It was a great location with clean and comfortable rooms as well as a helpful and caring staff ..... very convenient to the interstate. At checkin the staff made sure to answer all our questions about the room and it amenities as well as recommended places to eat. The breakfast was good with the staff tending to any requests promptly and courteously... All quests seemed like they appreciated both the quality of food and the atmosphere. Thanks for the great experience.
Excellent service at the front desk - friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I love that this hotel has doors facing the outside. Traveling with a pet means sometimes needing to take dogs out at all hours for potty breaks. It is an easy walk outside and to a grassy area. I loved the room itself - a desk that rolls and lots of space to spread and organize my items after a long road trip. Great room for remote work as well. Very convenient to restaurants - can walk just a few feet to a steakhouse and to a convenience store.
This is a very well located motel. Several restaurants, including one just a few steps from the motel. The staff was friendly. Check in was a breeze. Room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal and other items. Will definitely stay here again.
it was nice bedroom, very clean, the customer service was ok, the hot breakfast was not available, we were very surprise, because stayed at 10different hotels in different cities , same chain BEST WESTERN HOTELS. never missed a hot breakfast.
This hotel has had some updates but there is definitely some wear and tear. Also, the external locks in to the room were not that great. One deadbolt and a chain lock. There was light between the door an the edge. I didn't know this hotel opened out to the parking area and didn't have a security door. I would have probably not chosen this location.
I have asthma and often have cough a great deal at night. In this hotel room I did not cough at all. The mattresses were pretty firm and I slept great. The hotel is next to a Logan's Roadhouse, which was convenient.
COVID-19 breakfast grab and go stye left something to be desired. Otherwise, the handicapped king room was clean and comfortable. The check-in and checkout were efficient and hotel workers encountered were very pleasant. The night light on hairdryer stand was quite good. Towels and bedding were good.
I stayed one night at this Best Western. The room was nice and comfortable, but the internet did not work reliably - front desk claimed the problem was on my end - three devices showed internet going on and off. I took a shower in my own bathwater - the drain was slow - gross! The grab and go breakfast was inadequate. I would not stay here again.
Super clean room, recently remodeled and very well done! It is an older hotel, but for a change…. It is an older WELL MAINTAINED hotel. Free breakfast was great, staff were friendly, water pressure was awesome! Too cold to use the outdoor pool this trip, it it looks really nice and is well kept. We would definitely stay here again! Oh, and the pillows…. Were fantastic!
I had high hopes for this hotel based on reviews and the photos of the remodeled rooms. While my stay was fine, I would not stay here again. The rooms have outside entrances and the parking lot was pretty dark - as was the walk to the ice machine. I think I would have felt a little unsafe if I had been staying here alone. The room was remodeled, but it was not a great remodeling job - especially the bathroom. You can tell the work was done cheaply or paint was used to cover things up and they haven't paid attention to details when cleaning. However, the bed was clean and fairly comfortable. The TV was small, but worked fine. My biggest issue was the very small bathroom - which was usable but the walls and floor corners hadn't been cleaned in a while. They are still doing “grab and go” breakfast (they had a few options to choose from), which we skipped and ate out instead. The lobby was tiny so I can't imagine how crowded it would have been if they were doing regular breakfast. Overall nothing was terrible about our stay, it just wasn't the quality I was expecting.
Check in and out were easy. They are still not offering a regular breakfast just a grab and go. They are doing daily room cleaning. This is not new and fancy but the price reflects that. It was easy on and off from the highway, parking was OK.
We were looking for a place to stay one night for our travel home from Vacation. This Best Western had good reviews so we took a chance. It exceeded our expectations. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a grab and go bag, but contained several options including a choice of burrito or sausage biscuit that we heated in our room. The staff was friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
This is where we prefer to stay, well lit, friendly, informative staff with clean and comfortable rooms. Very enjoyable stay. The rooms were quiet and they provided a breakfast in a sack to go. We love this place.
We booked the hotel on Expedia and on our drive to the area, we received a random phone call saying they were from this hotel and wanted to have us give her our credit card information. We explained how we booked it but the woman (Pimcy) rudely insisted they needed the information to hold the room. We refused saying we didn't feel comfortable giving that information over the phone and we would be there in a few hours anyway. Let me explain: First of all, Dickson isn't a booming metropolis and it wasn't a holiday weekend and secondly, in this world, giving information like that to a complete stranger, whom you didn't call, is dangerous and insane, right? When we arrived we explained all of this again, she was 'unaffected' and acted like we were nuts not just giving our credit card information prior. That set a poor tone to our visit. There was no breakfast served as advertised, just a brown bag handed to you. Room was clean and comfortable. No highway noise and close to restaurants.
Just spent two weeks here and this place is clean, no bugs and a good value. It is an older hotel, but the beds are comfortable and plenty of hot water. The pool is not to be missed, several days I had it to myself.
This hotel has very modern clean comfortable rooms. The beds are very comfortable. Check in was quick. Service was great all questions were answered. The location was great for what we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The rooms were updated and everything was new. This was one of the cleanest hotels I have been too. The rooms were comfortable, from the bed to the quality of the air conditioner. And every staff member went out of their way to make sure our comfort and needs were met. Outstanding place!!
This Best Western has the highest ratings for Dickson, TN and they are deserved. They have a nice pool area, updated and tastefully decorated lobby and rooms, friendly and helpful staff and super clean.
We stayed here on the way to the smokies. We had two rooms and both were clean, rooms bigger than most hotels we stay in and the air conditioning worked well. Would stay again and recommend for anyone needing a clean place to stay.
This was the best hotel! Rooms are large with a micro & fridge and everything a person would need. All areas of the hotel were clean. We didn't use the pool but it did look inviting. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The grab & go breakfast bag was very good, much better that other hotels we stayed at this trip. Wish we could have stayed longer but had to get going.
They over booked there hotel and left me my wife and 2 kids stranded with no where to stay in the middle of the night with no hotels within 60 miles while we were moving across country I would not stay here
The location is great for the traveler. There are many dining opportunities within easy walking distances. Easy on and off the interstate. Exterior is well maintained, clean and attractive. Our room was immaculate. Super clean, exceptionally well lit, abundance of outlets, modern décor with pull out desk/table. I would definitely stay here again.
We needed a pet friendly hotel for our trip across the country. This hotel is clearly older and well used but was a nice surprise. The room was quiet and very clean. The whole facility was clean. Staff were friendly and efficient at check in and check out. They accommodated our early arrival and offered good suggestions for dinner. The breakfast bag to go was just right in these COVID times.
The pros: clean rooms and pleasant check in experience. The downside: A/C is not calibrated. I have it set at 62 degrees and still warm in the room. Went to draw a bath for wife and drain does not work. Couch cushions dirty. Mixed bag but for $100 I would expect better.
Great place, friendly helpful staff. Room very clean .Bag breakfast, nice assortment of items. Great location right off interstate and very close to 840 bypass around Nashville. lots of meal choices very close by. We love Dunkin Donuts coffer and breakfast, just across street. so we were happy with hotel and location,
Pros - Rooms looked nice and appeared clean. Beds were comfortable. Some truck parking available. There was a Logan's Roadhouse and gas station within walking distance. Cons - Exterior rooms. Their breakfast was a brown banana, a granola bar, and packaged pastry which seems a bit low end for a Best Western. The tissues were not well stocked and the toilet paper holder was broken. Outdoor pool. All in all, I was surprised to pay a 90$+ rate for the quality that we received, especially when there are plenty of other good hotels in the area that are the same price.
We stayed at this hotel on a cross country trip. The room was very clean. The staff was super friendly. There is a Logans Restaurant right beside the hotel. This hotel is pet friendly. Easy to find off the highway.
I am on.raod trip from South Carolina to San Jose, CA . . . this was my first night on the road. This a good motel just west of Nashville. Clean, comfortable, up-to-date, and a good bed. A "tad" expensive but that is the going rate in the area. I would recommend this motel to anyone ravel through Dickson
Although the person on the phone could barely speak English we finally got all the reservation details correct. Our stay was very good. The rooms are well equipped with amenities needed for a short or extended stay. The folks at the desk were very inviting and friendly. We felt very safe at this hotel. The area surrounding this hotel is full of great restaurants. I highly recommend this Best Western Hotel.
Pleasantly surprised! We were traveling to Arkansas & decided to stay overnight in Dickson. Looked up this hotel & it had great reviews. The hotel is really nice and clean & we enjoyed our stay there!
Clean, comfortable room-just what we needed after a long day of driving. The staff was friendly and helpful. This establishment is what we have come to expect of Best Westerns over the years. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
My wife and I only stayed here overnight. We were on our way to see our grandson and his fiance in Texas. Our room was very nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only downer was due to the coronavirus, they could only give us a bagged breakfast instead of the normal breakfast. Would stay there again.
staying at a Best Western in any state is like staying at a family members house. That home like feeling knowing that you are getting your monies worth. I always stay at a Best Western when I travel around America.
Pleasantly surprised at the room and staff went out of there way to make a very nice stop. Jessica in charge of the breakfast did a great job and was very nice and welcoming. Had real eggs not the so called scrambled ones. Hotel was older but remodeled to bring it up to the Best Western standard.
Remodeled in 2019, it was very nice with beds that were superb. Good nights sleep with no outside noise to bother us. We will stay there again. Best Western is always our first choice. Sometimes they are older hotels, but always clean with a nice staff.
Traveling through Tennessee and stopped at the Best Western in Dickson. Pet friendly, great location with a great staff. Breakfast was good with lots of hot coffee. Highly recommended if you are heading down Highway 40!
Friendly knowledgeable staff greets you with a smile. Clean room and ultra comfy beds for a great night's rest. Plus a desk and sofa yet still plenty of space for our dog. Oh and by the way, they are very pet friendly here and didn't blink an eye at our large dog.
First let me say that I am usually an IHG customer, but this stay was unexpected and I was looking for a good hotel with nearby restaurants. The Holiday Inn was across the interstate with little, to no choices, so I searched the reviews for hotels and after reading the reviews for this hotel and the fact that Logan's and a Mexican restaurant were right next door, I decided to give it a shot. This location lived up to the reviews. It is an older hotel, but the rooms were remodeled and modernized. The bathroom was smaller than I am used to, but was expected in an older hotel, but the room was clean and did not smell “old”. My customer service experience was by far one of the best I have had. I had a request that was fulfilled way beyond what you would normally receive or expect, and for just that service alone, I will stay here again, if in the area. The complimentary breakfast was comparable to the size of the hotel, and I will agree with the other reviewers in that the biscuit and sausage gravy was excellent. Thanks for the great stay.
very clean room, nice lobby, nice staff good breakfast. Right off I 40 plenty of places to eat, , and get gas, close to town, lots of shopping. there are 4 0r 5 hotels nearby , this seemed to be the best value price could have been better
Hotel was clean and affordable. Front desk was VERY helpful and Jessica was very nice and friendly as the breakfast hostess. Hotel was in a great location as there were many restaurants within easy driving distance.
We stopped at this Best Western to break up an 11 hour drive across Tennessee. The room was nicely decorated, clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was concerned that because of the location near the interstate and other businesses, it might be noisy but it wasn't at all. We woke up feeling fresh and ready to finish up our drive! We would definitely choose to stay here again if we make this same drive in the future.
I was impressed with this hotel. Once the traffic quieted down for the night there was no outside noise heard inside the hotel room. The bed was clean and comfortable and even gave me a chance to sleep late.
This was a great hotel to stay in just off the highway. This is the nicest Best Western that I have stayed in as far as the decor goes - the furniture is modern and streamlined. I thought it was a new hotel - that's how clean and modern it is - but one of the owners told me that they had updated it recently. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone, lots of choices. The staff was always working to keep it stocked.
How can smaller older properties compete in the current hotel brand wars? By keeping the basic product fresh and differentiating with genuine customer friendly service. This "motor hotel" does both very well! Convenient location, clean and secure property combined with value pricing make this a standout lodging choice. The lobby and front desk area are nicely appointed and set the tone. Staff (Andrea) are friendly, helpful and professional. The room is contemporary with better-quality amenities. Comfortable bedding, flexible seating and work station are supported with plenty of convenient power outlets, great Wifi, and entertainment options. Definitely recommend this "David" against the "goliaths." Several good restaurants are short walking distance and the morning free breakfast is above average.
Good clean rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast eating area well kept with large variety of meal choices. Access via vehicle simple with easy travel back to freeway. Standard is par with other Best Western Hotels I have have stayed in. Good value
First, let me say this hotel has outside access to their rooms. I didn't realize that when I made my reservation and probably would not have stayed there, had I realized it. That said, I'm very happy I missed it. I had forgotten the joy of being able to park right outside your room door and carry your items in. (Of course, you lose that if it's a second floor room.) And once we got inside, I was very surprised. It was a really large room--king bed as I had reserved. There was a sofa with a movable table you could use as a small dining table, or as a side table. The desk area was counter height, with a table underneath on wheels. You could pull it out to use as a desk or a dining table. The desk area had two USB power ports and there were USB ports on both nightstands. There was no fan in the bath/toilet area, but the sink/vanity (large one) was outside. There was a makeup light that ran all the way around the large vanity mirror. It was actually bright enough to use to put on makeup. Under the window A/C unit, but it was quiet. The TV was a little on the small side, but positioned between the bed and the sitting area, with a swivel so you could comfortably watch from either place. Plenty of face cloths and towels. (My husband likes to have a clean cloth for shaving after he showers.) Also provided a dark face cloth for removing makeup. The breakfast space was a bit small, but there was a large variety of food. My husband said the sausage gravy was the best he has had at a hotel. I don't eat much breakfast, but the coffee was great. Candice was on duty that morning and was very chipper and friendly. It's nice to see a happy face in the morning. We will definitely stay again!
Staff was very polite and the room was nice and well decorated, phone didn't work but we got along without it. Would stay here again. It was quiet. Breakfast was very good' Very easy to access off the road .
I was so pleased; I can never sleep well if I am not in my own bed. We checked in and I was completely exhausted. I was so shocked at how comfortable the bed was and how relaxing the atmosphere was even the pillows were fluffy and not flat. I was extremely happy with the cleanliness of the room. I honestly have no complaints. I thought for sure I would hear the Traffic on I-40 but NOPE! NADA! It had a Frig, Microwave, and a desk so I can get some of my work done. I have stayed in other hotels in the area, but I was not as impressed as I was at the Best Western. I will return to this hotel the comfort and cleanliness means a lot. The cleaning staff just smiled and waved, I left them a little note before I left. The people were extremely professional and very nice. Accept for the girl that checked us out, Not so friendly. I hope she was just having a bad day. Thank you for the Comfort of your hotel…. With Kind Regards, Bobbie & Phyllis Sullivan
This hotel is an excellent choice for those wanting a good night's rest in a clean, comfortable and updated room. I will choose BW every time I have that option over Hampton and Holiday Inn when their prices are $30+ higher per note. The only difference is the outside door entry if you don't use a pool. Breakfasts were as good or better at BW.
My sons gave me a trip to Nashville with tickets to a concert. We really didn't want to stay in Nashville and Dickson is an easy on/off exit on I-40. There are several hotel there, so you've got your choice. The price for this Best Western was very good and the reviews I read online looked promising. We were very pleased with our choice. The rooms have been recently upgraded and the furnishings were well done. There wasn't any odd odors that you sometimes fine in older hotels. Staff was very friendly and we had no problem checking in, get familar with our room and hitting the road for Nashville. Even though it was late when we got back, the parking lot was well lit and we felt safe. Breakfast was good and staff was very attentive making sure that tables were cleaned and food was refilled quickly. I'd stay here again anytime I need to be in Nashville.
When staying in the Dickson TN area I recommend the Best Western motel, look nice from the outside and great on the inside , rooms are newly remodeled and very modern looking all new. Rooms are non-smoking and do allow pets for extra charge, motel located right off I-40 and convenient to restaurants and gas, staff was well dressed and super nice, motel very quiet and parking lot well lit.
Rooms were very clean, it had nice and new furnishings, the beds were comfortable, everything functioned well, great breakfast, very affordable price for the Dixon area, plenty of parking, the motel was located right off I40, We highly recommend this Best Western.and we will stay in this Best Western on our next trip through Tennessee. It met all our needs as I believe that it will meet your needs too.
One of the best hotel staffs in industry. Always super friendly. Stay here all the time and have not had a problem. The staff is caring and genuine. Much better than their local competitors. Great location too.
Got a last-minute deal here and it was well worth the price. Front desk staff is super nice. The room was updated and nicely appointed for a budget hotel. Room had a fridge and microwave which came in handy. Very comfy bed and fluffy towels. Parking was a little challenging with a moving truck and trailer, but we figured it out. Location is convenient to the highway.
This motel is a great value. It costs significantly less than others right across the road, and we were very comfortable. It's just off the highway and near several restaurants. The building is older but has been updated. The doors to the rooms open directly onto the parking lot -- nice for travelers who want to park right next to their room, but not as secure as a hotel with interior corridors. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are large. Our room had two queen beds plus a small sitting area and desk. We had a mini fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, a hair dryer, and even an iron and ironing board. The lighting is decent. The sink/vanity area of the bathroom is separated from the toilet/shower area, which is nice for a family sharing a room. Our wake-up call was on time. The complimentary hot breakfast is good, with a decent selection. The breakfast attendant is VERY pleasant and helpful. The only negative is that the breakfast area is quite small, so it was crowded and noisy.
This was a very nice Best Western. My brother and I were greeted with real friendlyness and the desk clerk went out of his way to make sure the checkin was quick and easy. He even found us a room that had been clean so that we could check in a little early. Given we had started our driving day at 5am, this flexibility was nice of him.
Avoid this place at all cost!! really even Many hotels in this area with better prices and I pray they have better customer relation skills. I have never been treated second class by an owner of a brand name hotel until this stay. Apparently every location has different policies which is no problem until you are not told of such policies and they are not documented anywhere. I do not appreciate other people in my room with personal valuables in my room when no safe is provided. I have the do not disturb sign on the door but apparently they are forcing to come in and service my room. I have only been here not even a week. While I also should mention I brought my own sheets and my own comforter because I dont trust any hotel not just this one. So apparently there is a hidden policy that says they can come in even if the do not disturb is on your door. I kindly asked the owner for documentation showing this was indeed this hotels policy. She could not provide any written documents showing this policy. Mind you the entire time she is raising her voice at me and rolling her eyes in disgust because I am asking this of her. I graduated college with a communications degree with future goals of customer service and I can assure you that is not how to treat your customer especially being the owner. The customer should be told upon check in that there is a mandatory cleaning where they have to come into my room. I also watched as she simply let a group that came in looking to stay for a night walk right out regarding prices. No pride and no care or action taking to try and bring customers in or continue having customers in the future. Its decent place to stay until you look up surrounding hotels with the same amenities for 10-20 dollars cheaper. Other than the owner, staff has been friendly so no bad words on other staff but the owner reflects the hotel and the brand prides itself on customer care and that was not received at all. Pinky even said she does not treat customers that way so I asked her if I did anything out of line to cause her reaction/response she said I did not step out of line. I was polite and only trying to receive proof of this policy for my personal Privacy. Not the way to go Best Western. corporate was polite and handled the situation as far as the owners here they do not hold the standards of Best Western true.
Was tired and needed sleep, checked in quick and easy no issues. Room was as described with no issues and very comfortable. Would have no issues of staying at this location again. Had a little issue finding hotel when we exited the highway as it sets behind the railroad tracts and trucks were parked in front.
Great hotel... room was clean, staff was great, and lots of close travel amenities like food, gas, coffee, etc. Made a difference for my trip. Check in took about 5 minutes and check out took about 2.
Stayed here before as mid-way stop from Arkansas to Ohio. Great location and staff. Rooms are clean and large and plenty of places nearby to grab some dinner. Breakfast is okay but would prefer regular scrambled eggs instead of pre-cooked easy over looking eggs.
We stopped for the night at Best Western. Very very kind customer service. We did have a room that smelled like smoke and we had to ask for another. They were very gracious to accommodate this It was recently updated and someone must have smoked. The location was great for on and off interstate.
I always stay at a BW. They are always clean and customer service is always great. They have excellent breakfast and all the staff is very pleasant. Whenever I need anything they are always fast to get it to me. Schuana Lopez
Easy check in. Arrived to find outside rooms and prefer the inside rooms. Overall, a nice hotel. Rooms are clean and neat. Small bathroom but larger changing area. Shower was good. Plenty of clean towels, etc. Slept great about 9 hours and felt rested. Breakfast are was large and plenty of items to choose from. Really enjoyed the biscuits and sausage gravy. Would recommend the hotel. Usually have good luck with Best Western.
Very clean king room, friendly staff, full breakfast buffet and several restaurants in close proximity to the hotel to choose from. We stopped here and were pleased to find a very nice, clean, neat and modern hotel. Easy access on and off I40 between Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee.
The room was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Check in and check out was quick and easy. The breakfast was good with a big variety. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
For starters it's easy to find and get to. All the staff made staying a pleasure. Bagels were bakery quality, scrambled eggs fluffy, coffee hot and strong. Room was clean, comfortable and functional. No frills, just solid comfort. If military, ask for Nikki. She is a true patriot.
I booked this room strictly off the reviews & was not disappointed. We were passing through & needed a comfortable place for the night. It was a newly renovated room with no musty smell. There were 2 queen beds & a small corner seating area. Ample storage space for all of our suitcases which was very helpful. There was a separate vanity with a spot to hang items up. This room had a mini fridge, coffee maker & bonus microwave!! Everything was neat & clean, including bright white sheets. Bed was comfortable & the shower flow very nice. I wish I had taken pics, but was exhausted!! Free WiFi & breakfast although we slept in & didn't partake! Definitely recommend this hotel. Giving all stars!
Rooms and lobby recently remodeled. Room fresh and clean, small refrigerator, many USB ports by bed and desk. Good water pressure in shower. Excellent free breakfast choices: waffles, fruit, cereals, yogurt, eggs and gravy, juices, pastries.
This hotel was fine for a one night sleep over while passing through. It was clean and comfortable. They were renovating rooms while we were there. The Free breakfast was good and they have a bright and cheerful eating area. Front desk was five star and friendly. Gave 3 stars because of location in a more industrial section just off freeway.
Really convenient, right off the highway. Very clean, modern, friendly staff and free breakfast. Really good deal. Bed was comfy too Free wifi, fridge, nice bathroom and good AC. Just stopped for the night on my way to NY. They also offer AAA discounts
The location was right off the interstate. On the outside, the hotel was basic. However, the lobby and our rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous. Hot breakfast had something for everyone in our group.
Good complimentary breakfast options. Great beds and comfy pillows. The room itself was fairly clean. Kind of a funky smell. The bathroom was what turned us off. Shower/tub was very old and had chipped linoleum. In the bathroom the air vent had a huge accumulation of dust caked on it. We tried to swim but there was debris including plastic grocery bags and candy wrappers floating and sitting on the bottom of the pool. Wasn't really worth the price we paid even with an AAA discount.
The front desk clerk was friendly and check in went smooth. The rooms have outside access and there is not an elevator so people with physical challenges would want to request a first floor room. The room we stayed in was nicely updated and the bed and pillows were super comfortable and we did sleep well. The continental breakfast had a nice selection from oatmeal to waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast to biscuits and gravy The reason I did not give a 5 star rating was because the air conditioner wasn't blowing well and we noticed the filter was completely clogged which we cleaned and there was also a coffee filter left in the coffee maker from prior guest.
Folks this hotel has been recently renovated. A great deal of thought went into this renovation. THE BEDS ARE EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE, not too soft not too hard. The furniture in the room is VERY accommodating for us older folks. Toilets are comfort height .. my kneesand hips thank you. The sectional couch was firm, not sink down to the floor soft. If you need a room in Dickson, THIS IS THE HOTEL. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. You will not be disappointed.
Older building that is showing its age a bit. Good basic room that was clean and comfortable and older free. They do accept pets. In sight of the highway exit but quiet. Plenty of places to eat nearby and only a few minutes into Dickson. I stay at hotels 30 plus times a year . This isn't as fancy as some but was a great value and will stay here again
Excellent Motel with great location and excellent staff. Breakfast was great and the room was very clean. The room decor was very new and in excellent condition. I had a late check in and everything was very easy without any issues. I would highly suggest this motel!
This was a fantastic hotel. Everyone was very helpful and nice. The motel is easy to get in out of. Several very good restaurants were nearby. The wifi was excellent. In my opinion there is no better place to stay when visiting Dickson or the surrounding area!
The room was very neat; the breakfast was good, and staffs were very helpful!!! One of the male staff offered to make my pancake during breakfast, and he did!! There are enough parking spaces for guests!!!
Excellent refurbished hotel. Staff was outstanding. They had me with the sausage gravy!! Being able to park in front of the room was great. The value we received for the price we were charged was outstanding.
We stayed 4 nights recently. Our preferred hotel was booked so we settled on BW and saved some money in the process. Our check-in was not smooth, albeit the clerk was pleasant. Our room was second level at the end. After we hauled a load up to the door, the magnetic keycard did not work. Walked down to the front desk and she re-coded our cards. Walked back up, and carried another load up but the keycard still didn't work. Walked back down and she pulled out new cards and came up with me. Still didn't work but she opened the door with a key. Offered us the room but we declined with no way to re-enter the room easily. Walked back down to the front desk and she gave us a ground floor room. We hauled all our stuff back to the car and drove around to the other side and the keycard worked, no problem. The room was clean and nicely setup. Bathroom was small but the sink area outside the bathroom was fine. Bed was comfortable. The wall HVAC blower runs all the time but maintains the temperature well. All in all a clean, comfortable room. The morning breakfast was tasty and the eggs and sausages were hot. You could make a waffle but we never did. Counters were clean and the table seating was fine. The staff were all friendly and pleasant and we ended up getting extra reward points for our check-in difficulties.
Easy to find after leaving I-40. Large parking area surrounds the hotel property. Easy access to ground level room from car. Room was very clean and the king size bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. WIFI access and cable TV for entertainment. Breakfast was fantastic. I sampled the hot breakfast items: eggs, sausage, and a waffle. Can't forget the freshly brewed coffee. Other items available: fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt. Most rememberable was the friendly staff with southern hospitality.
Overall very good experience. Staff was great... Friendly, right there when you need them, competent. When I arrived, the front desk person was very professional and warm. In the morning, there was a lady who cared for the laying out of food and the clean up. Exceptionally helpful, very nice. Staff gets 5 stars for best care.
Clean and comfortable place to stay. Was pleasantly surprised by the decor in the room. It was recently updated. The staff was great both checking in and checking out. Easy on an off access to the highway.
The room was so clean... Plenty of pillows... Clean bathroom! Amazing lotion, shampoo and conditioner... Hand and face soap was awesome... The breakfast my goodness let me tell you I thought I was back at Grandma's... The gravy and biscuits were so tasty... The choices for waffles were unlimited.. Hot sauce for the eggs and don't forget the grits... So delicious... To top it off fresh hot coffee and the orange juice was superb... The sweetest lady's check on you as well... Best stay of my year and I live in motel practically... One disappointment though I had to leave...
A friend and I were flooded out of our home and had no other place to stay. So we traveled to Dickson and booked one of the last rooms they had available. Woman was very informative and hospitable. We decided to check out the breakfast the next morning, and it was exceptionally great! Lots of choices on coffee, muffins, toast, biscuits, toppings and even a waffle maker! Jessica was very helpful and so kind. We will definitely come back!
The rooms are getting renovated. Comfortable bed and clean room. Front desk and breakfast staff excellent! They know the hospitality business very well. Location is easily accessible from I-40. I definitely stay here again!
Room was super clean and comfy! Everyone I came in contact with was extra help and nice...even the lovely lady who cooked breakfast! It was such a relief after being in the road. I hope to get to stay here again!
Most important to us is how clean a place is. Our room was perfect! We've stayed twice & will be back. The staff & management are so friendly & helpful. We have stayed 2 times & will be back. The room prices are very affordable. A good location to stop at if going into Nashville & don't want to spend a lot of money on the room. Management and all the staff are so friendly & helpful. Good choices for breakfast too.
Great & very reasonably priced hotel for a family rest stop on the way to Nashville. The rooms were clean, updated & warm. The beds & shower were great too. Hotel staff were friendly. The breakfast had great cold & hot options. We were able to park our car right in front of our room. Would highly recommend for families.
The front desk staff were professional and top notch. Courteous and friendly. Both check in and check out staff were willing to do whatever they could to make our stay a good one. Good breakfast, clean room. Would stay there again
Hotel has managed to keep its charming environment. They offered great service and helpful staff. Room is clean and neat . Presentation of the room is warm. Staff handle some small items with heart. Good stay after a long driving.
Reasonable price, very nice friendly staff, firm beds, comfortable pillows, offer Gluten Free breakfast. A good nights sleep and a great breakfast option when one is gluten/dairy free, what more can a person need :)
This hotel was very clean. The staff at check in and check out were friendly. The locatiob is good, close to restaurants. The breakfast was small but good. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.
We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday while in the are visiting family. It was clean, convenient, bed was comfortable. Easy check-in and out, no problems. I'm normally not the type of person to go for an enter-from-the-outside interstate motel, but this place had great reviews and didn't disappoint.
What a great stay:) So much Impressed us on this overnight stay traveling through the state:) met two different employees and the owner PJ:) All were kind and so accommodating:) Check-in and out was easy:) Nice size room that came off clean and new:) Shower had plenty of hot water:) Breakfast was much like other BW in variety:) Yet, items were more plentiful and fresher:) The owner was right in the lobby running things from the desk:) breakfast area:) and talking and meeting his guests:) Don't see that kind service anymore. This place just ran with an “eye” for detail. We have stayed at BW all over the US, this one has been my favorite!
This is a nice hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The price was affordable, it was clean, and it was easily accessible from the freeway. The staff was nice and the breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend!
The staff was very welcoming .It was nice to have smiling faces greet me. My friends I were traveling with were the complaining type and the staff were extremely accommodating. All my experiences with Best Western have been wonderful .
The staff was amazing. Candace, the evening desk clerk, was so vibrant and helpful. Although extremely busy when we arrived, she made everyone to feel as if they were her only customer. She was knowledgeable about the area. The next morning Jessica met us in the breakfast area with a smile and was very happy make sure we found all the breakfast items we needed.
This is our 2nd year staying at this hotel. We can't say enough about the place. From the reservation to the warm greeting on arrival (Candice), the great morning breakfasts (Jessie), the Owners (PJ & Tina) as our travel consultants. We will return again next year and following years due to the great staff and cleanliness of the hotel. Very clean and nice pool area. We literally have no complaints and can't say enough about the staff and hotel.
My husband and I have been traveling all week. This is hands down the cleanest, friendliest, most comfortable BW we've stayed in. Jessica keeps an awesome breakfast bar with everything you could want.
When we opened the door and scanned the room, the pleasant presentation suggested cleanliness further observation showed to be true. While we only stayed one night, the experience was fine. Breakfast was well stocked and offered a tasty variety. When in the area, we will definitely stay at this Best Western.
Kinda bummed that we called & were told we would get a smoking room but upon arrival were told they were renovating those rooms. No big deal though...and the room we had was great! Love the lighted mirror & NEW...everything! Also, the girl at the front desk was beyond kind, gave my husband a few bananas when his legs, fingers & arm were cramping from dehydration. But, back to room..extremely clean, extremely quite, wonderful bedding & pillows..its just perfect. Thank you so much, hope to stay again when we're rolling through.
Great hotel, amenities, awesome staff, good atmosphere, good location, good parking, great service, comfortable bed, good food, great room, check in & out is good goes smoothly, overall excellent stay.
GREAT HOTEL. GREAT Convenient Location. Very friendly staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Comfortable beds. Very clean rooms. Quiet location and I got a very good nights sleep. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel to all travelers......
Do not let the name fool you. This hotel was awful! The air conditioner was loud and constantly running. Everything in the room, even the air, was damp. The pillows were lumpy limp bag of foam pieces. We were so uncomfortable we did not sleep. This is a very old hotel. The doors are on the outside of the building. So are several cigarette buts everywhere you look. I felt uncomfortable and gross the entire time I was there. Everything was wet and old, not well kept. This place is a total dive. Do not let the signage or the name fool you. If you want a clean room and a good nights sleep - do not stay here!
This best western was the cleanest place that I have spent a night in. The service was nice and the breakfast was extremely delicious. The staff was very polite and funny. They knew how to treat there customers. I would always recommend that this be the place that people come to stay and enjoy them selves. The pool was also fun.
A nice little roadside motel in Dickson that has some of the sweetest people working for them. I was there to attend my moms funeral and the overall pleasant attitude from the folks there helped make the stay one worth remembering. Dog friendly too! Thank you!
Checked in around 23:30, reception was professional, friendly, and fast, even without reservation was well priced and customer service was AWESOME. King Smoking room, as a smoker I appreciate the availability of the option. However, even as a smoker the room smelled awful. I have suggested that they look at some different options than what they are currently doing for cleaning/ventilation, even so it is still a solid 4 star rating for professionalism, physical cleanliness, security/safety, and convenient parking.
We were vending at a Father's Day Pow Wow at the Dickson County Fairgrounds and based on previous reviews on www.tripadvisor.com and the hotel's website, it was an easy decision to stay here. I made our reservations months in advance and requested a first floor King smoking room. WOW - a hotel that not only has smoking rooms, but they are on the first floor! We were out at the pow wow grounds setting up on Friday, our day to check in. Time was getting away from us, so I called the hotel to let them know we would be checking in late. The lady at the front desk told me not to worry, and she would mark our reservation for a late check-in. When we arrived tired, hot and hungry from our long day, we were greeted very warmly. I believe the lady's name is Candace. Sweet, friendly, yet very professional. Check-in was a breeze. We quickly viewed our room to make sure all was good, and were happy with the amenities and cleanliness. We then went straight across the parking lot to Logan's to eat. I am diabetic and need to have an evening snack and wanted some fruit, so later that first evening I went to the lobby to see if they had any out, as some hotels/motels do leave fruit out all the time. Candace asked if she could help me with anything, so I told her what I was looking for. She said they did have bananas and apples in the back and offered to get me some. She shortly came back with a "to go" bag (they offer breakfast to go) with 2 of each! I really appreciated that extra step taken. As I said, our room was nice, the amenities were as advertised and it was very clean. Although we never really sleep well when not in our own beds, the mattress and pillows were comfortable. TV remote was in a bag - they disinfect them every day. Loved the little hassock that rolled under the chair! Breakfast includes both hot and cold items, including eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, variety of cold cereals, yogurt, breads and pastries. The hotel is right off I-40 and at a light, so very easy to get in and out of, with many restaurants near to choose from. Along with Logan's right across the parking lot, there is a Cracker Barrel across the intersection. All in all, a very pleasant stay, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.
We arrived late afternoon on a weekday, having reserved at a reasonable rate, considering that the market was generally more expensive than I expected. Convenient to the highway, first floor parking at your door. Check-in went quickly, the room was good size and air conditioner worked fine. Window is fixed-pane, furnishings older but serviceable, excellent housekeeping and maintenance. The pool was not open for the season yet (in mid-May), but I was more interested in the laundry machines, which worked fine. The shower featured an oversized showerhead which was very nice, towels were excellent. Slept well, with no noise issues. Breakfast open 6am, very wide assortment of items, kept well stocked. I would definitely stay again.
We stayed at the Best Western in Dickinson, TN last week for two days. We arrived about an hour before check-in time but the lady at the desk did some re-arranging and allowed us to check in early and also gave us a first floor room which we greatly appreciated since there was no elevator. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean-what else could you ask for. The only negative were the outside rooms. This hotel is very clean, but it has also been there for a while - maybe a new building in the near future? David W.
On our way to Yellowstone from Virginia, we booked nights approximately 2-14 days in advance at Best Western hotels, which was extremely easy, even for high demand properties. Our stay at the Dickson executive inn was very pleasant and restful. The property was spotlessly clean, and the staff was delightful and professional. The hot breakfast was very good, more than I would normally eat. We have been extremely pleased with all of the BW properties we have stayed in during our trip.
The staff was super friendly, the rooms were clean, and they had gluten-free breakfast options like oatmeal, poptarts, bars, and cereal, plus eggs, bananas, yogurt, waffles, muffins, milk, coffee, juice, and more. Two things that could have been better: plain yogurt, and thinner pillows. I possibly could have requested both of these things but we just needed a place to crash to and from Bonnaroo from Dallas and this was perfect and the price as a AAA member couldn't be beat. Special thanks to Jessica for her smiling face and showing us what was gluten free. Don't hesitate to stay here on your journey. Oh and the toiletries are really nice, too!
Very nice and clean motel, No elevators but we had a ground floor room, which we asked for. We could park right by our room which I like! The room was clean and the beds were comfy!! Breakfast was good and the people working there were all very nice!! We just stayed one night but would definitely stay here again if in the area. Lots of restaurants in the area and close to the interstate.
During our stay for a concert and a Renaissance Festival we decided to give this hotel a shot with convenience of location of being close to Nashville but not too far away. From the moment we arrived we were met with friendly smiling faces and check in was a breeze. The manager was very friendly and made you feel at home and even helped serve breakfast the next morning. Everything was hot and fresh and tasted great. Rooms were very nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for a great stay!
In all my years of travel this place is by far on the top of my list for guest service commitment. We had an issue in our room. It was addressed within half an hour. The breakfast area is excellent in catering to their guest. A wide variety of condiments for all, hot sauce, chocolate syrup for your milk even almond milk for those who prefer. Topping for waffles and the hostess Jessica was great, friendly all smiles. Makes you feel like they really care. The owner, didn't catch his name but a super nice guy.. highly recommend if you are traveling through or on a road trip.
Excellent! Clean and updated. Staff are excellent. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Highly recommended. Unfortunately wifi was weak. Older hotel with outside entrances. No elevator. We would stay again.
This is a pretty basic motel, outdoor corridors, 2 levels with no elevator, but comfortable and clean. My only reason for not giving it five stars is the price. In fairness, we were not ready to go any further, and the desk clerk was apologetic about the price but explained that there was a lot going on in the Nashville area right then and that they had been full pretty much every night. Give him credit for that. The room was fine, and the breakfast was above average. The lady staffing the breakfast buffet was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Our very clean, quiet, large king room with sofa was comfortable with good lighting. Love having sheets sandwich the blanket. Tony was very friendly and helpful at check-in. There was a small error with the booking, but he took care of it with ease. The morning staff provided my husband with a tray at breakfast so that he could bring things back to the room. Check out was just as friendly. Minor negative: chain link on door rather than a deadbolt, but did not feel unsafe in the area. Would definitely stay again.
One of our stops on our way to Kentucky. Had made reservation there but I had put the wrong date. Mr. Mosar helped us and got us a room for the night. The hotel is pet friendly and we were glad because we had two dogs with us. The room was big and the bed was comfy. Easy to find off the freeway and plenty of places to eat close by.
Stopped for the night in Dickson and needed a hotel. We checked TripAdvisor and this Best Western had good reviews. The evening reception desk staff was very friendly and a wealth of information on where to eat. The room was decorated nicely and clean. The bed was very comfortable that we slept well. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff made sure the buffet was filled. She even helped some older couples by carrying their food to the tables.
We had a large party staying in several rooms for a wedding in the local state park. the afternoon staff was awesome ! she patiently and quickly checked each of us in; as we were running late to attend the wedding. The rooms were clean and the grounds was well maintained and the best part was the morning attendant at breakfast! We were traveling with small children and he helped fix all the kids plates and was very nice to them. He even wished my daughter happy birthday! His kindness alone makes this place an excellent stop to sleep hands down! loved every minute of this stay!!
Our check-in was great. The desk clerk was so gracious and recommended a local restaurant that we really enjoyed. Only two problems. Too much light in the room so I didn't sleep very well and very early in the morning the garbage truck came to collect or something that sounded like a large metal container being hoisted and dumped near our room. Keep in mind, this hotel is very close to a main road and the interstate. There is constant traffic noise. Other than that, I have no complaints. Breakfast was nice and the room was very clean and fully stocked with sufficient linens, etc.
Next time your south of Nashville TN and you're looking for a quiet location, comfy bed, hot delicious breakfast and a welcoming staff, this is your place! At check-in, we asked for a dinner suggestion. We enjoyed our meal st Back Allley BBQ very much. Thanks for taking great care of us!
Hubby & I were driving to South Carolina from Oklahoma. Dickson is an excellent half way point. We stayed going to SC & then on the way home 2 weeks later. Hotel staff was friendly, helpful, rooms were super clean, comfy beds, and super quiet. I heard no road noise nor any noise from any other guests. Breakfast was delicious both times, hot, lots of variety. I like that this hotel excepts dogs, I believe there is weight limit. We will be back when we travel through.
This BW was conveniently located near I-40 and several restaurants were within walking distance. Rooms were nicely decorated, our king bed was very comfortable, pillows were too large and hard. Breakfast was delicious with fried eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles and the usual breakfast offerings. Tony at the front desk was very personable and even came up to our room to help with our cable problem. We will definitely stop here again in our travels.
Everything was booked in Nashville this was best available. Paid less for 2 rooms than 1 in Nashville and everything was great. Very clean, free breakfast and fantastic staff-chelsea at desk is wonderful! Will be back!
I drove all night and arrived in Dickson exhausted. No rooms were cleaned yet from the previous night, but Trish got the cleaning crew to get the first available room ready as soon as possible. She invited me to eat the complimentary breakfast while I waited...my room was ready in less than 30 minutes. That is good customer service.
Rooms were clean. Front desk super nice. Logans Roadhouse next door. Breakfast was good. Parked right in front of room. Entrance was a little tricky to find. Signage could be better. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed at this hotel while passing through on a trip to Texas from West Virginia. The room was, to our surprise honestly, really nice! Nice modern decor, comfy beds, good shower. The staff were really great, and can't forget the good waffles! Definitely recommend this hotel.
Stopped for a night on the way to Little Rock marathon. Super easy check in, thanks Tony! Very nice, clean room. Good value and breakfast was tasty. Jessica did a great job with the breakfast. Would stay here again.
It was the staff that made us rate this Best Western 5/5 instead of a 4 ! Stayed just one night after a tedious drive in heavy rain and dense fog from Ohio to Texas. Feeling pretty road-weary checking in at the desk, we were greeted by Candace who could not have been more friendly and kind. I was darn near ready to write a 5 star review as soon as we settled into out room based on the experience of checking in and observing a meticulously clean, modern room. The breakfast was more than adequate and better than expected. The young lady in the office in the morning was also very friendly and helpful. Even offered to cook my waffle! Would not hesitate to stay here again even for multiple days. Thanks " Y'all "
We spent the night in this hotel and were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were very nice, very clean. Breakfast was just fine too. Staff was very nice. We were very pleased with the hotel and highly recommend it.
I stayed 2 nights in 2 months during a drive between Maryland and Texas. This was my night halt. Room was very comfortable and many dining options in 1/4 mile radius. Nice hot breakfast in the morning. I would come back to this hotel if I were ever to travel through this area again.
Great little stop for the night on our cross country road trip from Virginia to California! Staff was very accommodating and genuine. We experienced no problems during our stay here. The only downfall was that I feel it was just a tad overpriced, as I paid $20 less at a much nicer hotel two nights later. May have been the area the hotels were located in though. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler looking for a comfortable bed to stay for the night.
Check in and check out people were nice and friendly and breakfast was good. I like being able to park in front of my door for quick entry and exit. Manager is very friendly. The bed was very comfortable for a good nights sleep.
The hotel was extremely convenient. The staff was excellent. The room was large clean and very welcoming. The breakfast was a very nice Buffet. We would stop there again the next time we go by . It's a good place to stay.
Staff was great and the owner even better. He was in the eating area to greet all customers, helped with the food and really made it feel like a place you wanted to come back to. Rooms were clean and well maintained.
This is a perfect place for a clean and restful stop on your trip. When your looking for a nice place to stop and a clean room is important to you then you need to stay here. Staff, room and hotel experience was very nice.
Always a great stay with Best Western, Best Western Plus and Best Western Executive Inn. The staff is always kind and makes you feel very welcome when checking in. I have also earned several free nights with their Rewards Program.
The gal who ran the breakfast room was so nice! She offered me gluten-free items, which was much appreciated. She also made sure we had enough food before she cleaned up. We also appreciated being informed that we had enough points as a Best Western Rewards member for a free night's stay! The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast with fresh waffles was great!Only mild negative was that the showerhead could be more forceful, but overall the room was spacious and very comfortable.
Very comfy and Clean room Lots of soft fluffy towels and good linens on comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing for not having a full service kitchen on site. Selections were way beyond our expectations Will definately stay again if our travel come thru this areA
The Best Western in Dickson TN offers clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Very good place to stay; internet connection is fast and free. Our room was clean and the bed & pillows comfy. Staff members were solicitous and professional. There were no traffic sounds, although location is near I-40. Lots of restaurants nearby. Glad we chose this hotel over the cluster of others in the area.
PIcked BW as a known place to stay, with excellent service. This BW has exterior entry to room, with AIR and Heat. Everything was pleasant and clean, service was quick upon chick in and check out. Breakfast was very good. Had dinner at JT Colton's which is down the street, excellent food and service. Gas station next to BW only allowed Regular gas to be pumped.
This BW, near Nashville, is quite affordable and has management and staff who really care about you. Very clean, breakfast is good every day; well stocked and attended to by Jessica. Not too far from Nashville, Dickson has all the amenities you need. Go to Ruby Tuesday's across the street for a wonderful salad bar.
Fantastic stay! Clean--Great service. Room was clean and breakfast was good-lots of choices. Front desk clerk (J.P.?) made sure everyone was well taken care of during breakfast. Would recommend to anyone staying near Dickson.
Our room was very comfortable and clean. The linens appeared new, crisp, and of good quality. You could tell that a lot of attention had been paid to presentation and detail. The breakfast was extensive. Jessica, our server, couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Almond milk for those with lactose intolerance and dairy allergies was offered. I have never seen this before at a hotel breakfast and most restaurants don't have it either! More dairy free foods could have been offered, but at least this was a start in the right direction. It was most appreciated and I hope that more Best Western Hotels start catering to people with food allergies. My husband and I have stayed at many Best Western Hotels and this hotel was among the best.
Hotel room was very clean - quiet. Convenient location - right off the interstate. Logan's Roadhouse is right next door. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Very friendly front office staff. Helpful and engaged.
The staff at this hotel was one of the best we have experienced in our many travels. I would rate this hotel a 100%. It was very clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked very well. The breakfast was very good. Much better than most. Several hot food choices along with several cereals, bagels, breads. I can't say enough how nice it was to be treated so well.
This is my third stay at this property in a year and I am impressed with how this hotel keeps improving. This is an older hotel that has been transformed into a real gem and you can feel the sense of pride that the staff exudes as they witness all of the changes. I stayed in a King on the north side (opposite the highway) and was impressed with the comfort of the bed, the cleanliness, the new climate system and the quietness. If you are visiting the Nashville area but don't need to stay in Nashville proper you can easily shave a hundred bucks off what you would pay in the big city. You will enjoy staying here!
Awesome place great staff. For the money you'll be hard pressed to do better. Caring owner as well as tje staff. Clean room comfortable bed clean bathroom and plenty of places to grab a bite to eat.Great.
This hotel is older with outside stairs and doors. It was quiet and comfortable and served a good breakfast. It is right off the interstate but at night we had difficulty even with the GPS which seemed to be confused also.
In the breakfast room, JESSICA who was working there, was extremely pleasant and it was a pleasure chatting with her before our departure. The location of this Best Western was right off I-40 and to feed our very hungry appetite for dinner at arrival/check-in, many many restaurants were very close.
Over the last 2 weeks, I have spent 6 nights in a hotel. The only reason the 6th night was not in a Best Western is that there were no rooms available in the Best Western on our last night of traveling. I will go Best Western whenever I can.
Staff was nice, but not knowledgeable about the local eateries. Breakfast well presented, but just ok. Dog people got put in rooms at the very back of the building, with the ice machine and front desk in the front. Room clean, lighting good, shower head a plus, bed comfortable. Grassed around across the parking lot for the dogs. Have to hunt for the trash cans when cleaning up after dogs. Cans hidden under stairwells.
Good trip, all went well and easy. location was perfect for our needs. Food options were good, did not eat breakfast, we were on constant run. People were friendly, parking was easy, area was safe. Room was clean, had frig. and Microwave. WIFI was without issues and TV offering was good.
We stayed here while visiting family for the weekend. The price was good and the room was terrific. Very quiet, despite being right off the freeway exit...which is also a bonus. All the staff, from the night clerk, to the breakfast attendant, to the room attendants were cheerful, helpful, and kind. The manger even came around to chat with guests at breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything one could need. We will stay here again.
Many might be turned off because this is a motel. Don't let that hold you back. You won't find a nicer, more modern and convenient motel anywhere. The rooms are completely updated and feel very fresh. No feelings of a well used or run down place at all. They even have a remote control for the heat and air unit which was a first for me. My only complaint was the wifi wasn't great especially in the morning when a lot of people were on it. Aside from that it this stop was as good as it gets and I look forward to staying there again.
The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. There are very good restaurants nearby and interstate access is easy. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is excellent! Sausage and gravy biscuits YUM!!
Very nice handicap room. Very helpful for my husband who is having back issues. Will use this hotel again.Very nice staff, and very helpful. Will be making another trip or so to Nashville for more doctor appts and surgery.
Stopped here on our way west because we had a gift card, so the price was good. The room appeared to be clean but my wife said there was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The staff were nice. And the hotel is convenient to chain restaurants and I-40.
Our room smelled like urine, both pet and human. Disgusting! Chipped paint in the bathroom, stains on the walls, mold on the ceiling, hole in the wall behind the toilet. We were a little afraid to walk barefoot in the room. They had no other rooms available and we were only staying for about 10 hours so we stuck it out. We had a 12 hour drive the next day and needed to sleep a bit. An old flimsy chain for the door, seriously? But after the disgusting breakfast and everything else, we could have saved money and slept in the car. I felt dirty when I left even after taking a shower. And my husband and I both felt like we couldn't get rid of the urine smell. There are other hotels right near this one, try one of them.
We stayed here for about five days during a recent visit to Bon Aqua for a conference/retreat. The hotel room was very clean and spacious, even for the four of us, and we had a really comfortable sleep each night. The best part, however was breakfast! The selection was great and each item was delicious, but the best part was the fatherly gentleman serving the waffles, who turned out to be the owner of the hotel and several other Best Western hotels. PJ was such a joy to talk to and makes all of his guests feel welcome, special, and comfortable at the hotel. Him and his wife were excellent hosts and treated us like old friends. I highly recommend this hotel, not just for the comfortable and clean rooms, but because they treat you like family. Thank you PJ!
This is a great hotel, it's convenient to the interstate and the shops in downtown dickson. The owners are amazing and go above and beyond to make your stay perfect! It's only 40 miles give or take to Nashville and is close to several eateries like Logan's, Arby's and cracker barrel. I'm spoiled now when I go to other hotels and the customer service isn't up to par. This one goes the extra mile!!!!! The breakfast is yummy too and fresh!
Hotel conveniently located off I-40 at Dickson exit. Several Gas stations, restaurants, and other hotels were in immediate area. Rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast presented with a nice variety of fresh and tasty items that were invitingly arranged and seemed to summon you for more. But most importantly the staff were friendly and helpful. We were not rushed at checkout and were able to start our day out relaxed and refreshed without multiple knocks on the door from overly anxious house keepers, or monotonous calls from the front desk wanting to hurry us out the door. I highly recommend this hotel.
Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff showed great care and concern for my family and the other guests. I have paid for expensive hotels before and not received the care and comfort my wife and I received here. It's location right next to the highway made it very easy to get around town too. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Good location and friendly helpful staff. Very good breakfast with several choices. Was able to park directly in front of room door for easy in and out with luggage.
We stayed one night and was very impressed. The hotel has been renovated and does not look like the old brick building in the picture on the website. The room we stayed in looked new, new carpet, new remodeled bathroom, they did more than just a fresh coat of paint. The mattress is one of the most important features of a room for us and it was a good mattress here. The breakfast was on par with most places that serve a complementary breakfast but a slightly better variety of food. What sets their breakfast is how friendly and eager to please the staff was. I would say if you want a place to stay and don't mind doors than are accessible from the exterior, you can't beat this place.
I reserved a 3 night stay here as I was working in the area. I had stayed here one other time and felt safe and slept like a dream. The Customer Service here was excellent and that is a priority with me!
The hotel is clean. That is important. The staff is friendly, esp the gal that serves the breakfast. After that, it is just a room. I stay in lots of hotels and for the price of this one, which was not $80, more like $100 with taxes, the room was plain, maybe the place is just old and tired and the towels were really rough . I would stay here again, but it would not be my first choice, unless the other hotels were lots more expensive.
The Dickson Best Western was a perfect place to spend some time while riding out the advance of hurricane Irma. The continental breakfasts were above average and the coffee was very good. We used the secured internet frequently without any issues. Being close to Nashville made finding ways to spend the daytime hours quite easy. Nearby restaurants were also a plus as we were able to walk to them for dinner and a cocktail. Overall this was the exact oasis that my wife and I needed. Thank you for a super experience.
Clean room, not shower, not food that was high quality. Had no issues with the high speed internet. The people at the front desk were very friendly. Really enjoyed my stay hear and will stay again if ever in the area.
We enjoyed it very much- Help was Wonderful we enjoyed the room! Great Time! Our motel room was very comfortable and enjoyable. it was close to the eating establishments in the area. We also stayed at the Best Western traveling back and forth to Texas. Great experience!
Staff was very nice, the rooms were ok. About 30 moniutes from Nashville. No elevator, so if any disabilities request 1st floor. Logan steak house next door good food. Breakfast served in the morning.
I recommended this location to our group based on what appeared to be the available price and based on TripAdvisor reviews. It seemed like a good value. Though the facility is worthy of the good reviews, I now recommend that you check carefully all the possible facilities in the area as the price that initially appeared was not available by any discount or other arrangement. And our stay was not at a premium time but for a business gathering in the middle of the week. All that is to say, be careful of what appear to be available prices. They may not be. Having said that, the hotel was quite acceptable. I look for several different factors in judging a hotel and I don't expect all hotels to be five star hotels and judge them to that standard. I examine them to see if they keep their own promises and effectively do what a hotel should do. Is it safe? Is it reasonably clean? Does the heat/air conditioning work well? Can I get a good night's sleep? Is the water pressure good? Does the internet work well? For this hotel the exterior appearance is kind of industrial in appearance, not really attractive but not repellant. But it seemed safe and I was never worried about my person or vehicle during my stay. Access to the hotel is a little odd. You enter the area where it is through a traffic light that crosses a railroad track – and be careful of the positioning of the track and the arms because it's an odd grade crossing. Once you cross the tracks, turn left immediately and drive down to the hotel. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The staff members were friendly and there was a little friendly banter between them that made the process genial and even fun. Once in the room I found it to be clean and it was one of those rooms that surprised me it was so clean in all the odd locations. No sign of mold or mildew. The room did have an odd smell and it appeared that even though it was a no-smoking room that someone had been smoking in it. A scented candle solved that issue readily. The room was quite spacious and well-appointed and there were plenty of outlets available throughout the room, which is certainly unusual. There was a microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker. I don't remember seeing an ironing board but I wasn't looking for it. There was a flat screen TV that was “DirectTV” and it was not intuitive. I tried for five minutes to just find a channel and could not figure out how to work the controls to make anything but the opening display appear on the screen. The internet worked well. The password is written on the room key folder. They didn't tell me that but I looked and found it. The water pressure was adequate. Sleep was adequate as well. The curtains let a good bit of light intrude into the room so it's not easy to sleep late. The air conditioning was very effective. It cuts on and off but a white noise fan that I carry solved that issue. The pillows were great . The bed was a little soft. Nonetheless, I slept reasonably well. Could have been better. All in all this was a good stay and I would stay here again being careful to research pricing a little more extensively.
Very nice polite and helpful staff!! We checked in super late and they were nice enough to extend our check out time!! Very nice clean rooms!! It's located right near several restaurants and gas stations. Also has a pool, didn't get to check it out this time though. Will definitely be staying here again!!
I will definitely echo the comments about helpful staff. They went out of their way to help me. Outstanding actually. The hotel is not new and shows a bit of wear. But the AC worked, tv was great and bed comfy. Coffee in room was even okay (we skipped breakfast). So it served our needs on a cross country trip.
Very clean, helpful staff, plenty of parking and with in walking distance of several restaurants. I travel for work and I'm in hotels more than I'm home. I've never had a problem with any of the Best Western hotels. Most all of them have had recent updates and are very accommodating to the traveling worker.
I normally do around 4 to 5 road trips a year and I always try to find a Best Western somewhere along my route. I have had many satisfying stays at B/W hotels. It is comforting to know that I can count on getting a good night of rest and awaken to a better day in the mornings.
Very clean rooms and very helpful staff. Although the rooms are "outside" rooms, staff went out of their way to make our stay very stress free. The pool was very clean also. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the small children in our group.
The room was filthy. They did not refill with enough towels, toilet paper, kleenex, or soap unless we went to desk and asked for it. Which we did have to everyday. The room was so musty! Very overpriced for what we got.
My husband and I were on our way home from a business trip to Denver. We stopped in Dickson to visit family members. The location was great, right off the interstate, plenty of restaurants, fast food choices around. The front desk was friendly and accommodating, the pool looked nice and clean but we did not use. The rooms were a bit dated but was ok. The room was not 100% clean but was clean enough for me to stay and I'm really pickie.
We had tried 2 other hotels nearby before staying here and this is the best and friendly .and our 4th stay with them. The greatest people ever. If we ever get to go to our family reunion again Best Western is our hotel .
Extremely clean & quiet. Awesome, friendly staff. Good hot breakfast. There were a lot of families with small children at the hotel but you never heard any noise from the highway or other rooms. Would recommend this hotel. We will be staying there again on our next trip to Texas. I asked for a smoking room on the bottom floor when I made the reservations and they were happy to accommodate my request. Even on the bottom floor, you could not hear any noise from the room above.
Not only was our room clean and a nice place to stay, the front desk, hospitality hostess, and the manager were polite and attentive to their customers. The hospitality hostess made sure we had all we wanted for breakfast. The breakfast was hot and delicious! When the manager learned we were in town for a funeral, he offered us a place to change before heading back to the airport. Internet service was really good- which benefits me as I write when traveling.
We booked our room here off of Tripadvisor, of course. They had the best rates going in the area, and we were treated very well by the young girl at the front desk---very courteous and friendly despite the lateness of our arrival! Our room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast that is included had the usual waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, and bagels as well as eggs and sausage. The woman working the dining area was also friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely concerned about making guests feel welcomed and that they had a great experience. Nicely done! Would gladly stay here again.
The rooms are very nice and very clean beds were very soft comes with a very nice pool with light up lights at night very nice and they have towels at the pool so you don't have to take your own. Very nice and very clean. There is a great morning breakfast until 9:00 am and wonderful people to assist with your needs and wants.
We were on an extended trip, and stayed here to be close to Hurricane Mills. It was. The town is beautiful. We will definitely be back, as we didn't get to experience all this area had to offer, and will stay in Dickson, again.
The cable TV kept messing up and maintenance had to be called SEVERAL times. Finally, we had to move to another room on the 2nd day. The new room was clear on the other side of the hotel, no one offered to help with all the bags. Once we had moved to the new room, we were approached by the manager who wrongly and rudely accused us of cussing at the "one of her employees". We went back up the front desk with the manager to spoke with both of "her employees" that we had spoken to up until that time. The manager had gotten her facts wrong. I was not us (naturally) but another guest on the lower floor. Aside from the very poor customer service, the water pressure in the hotel needs to be looked at for repair. The toilets would not flush correctly due to not enough pressure.
I travel 320 days a year. I can stay anywhere I want because of my company. I always look forward to coming back to Dickson,tn and the best western executive inn. they have the best people pj,tina are great. them and their staff make you feel at home. the rooms are huge. the breakfast bar is second to none. they have ham, saugage links and patties, real e fried eggs, waffles that pj will make for you. their staff Candice,Trish and Jessica make you feel like you are home and they bend over backwards to make you stay great. I love this place and would recommend it to the president or anyo e else in the Nashville,tn area
Was a good experience to be in this hotel, clean and the staff was wonderful with us. I will be here again in my next trip. The room, the pillows, the bed, was a good experience for us . My grand kids enjoyed the hotel
When we first arrived and looked at the hotel, I thought I'd be disappointed since it is an outside entry. However, I was very surprised. It was comparable to Disney's All Star Sports resort. If anyone stayed there then you'd understand. The breakfast was awesome. They even had soy milk! I'd stay again with no problem. The staff was great as well.
We, me and my wife arrived to this hotel during the evening. It is a nice place located near Dickson a small town in Nashville area. The hotel is nice and clean, service and attitude was nice. Breakfast was great full of various gluten free products. Wi Fi had no issues.
Recommend this place to all travelers. Thanks to the manager for being so great in his training. All personnel spoke and smiled. Makes you feel at home. The best we have ever stayed at. Everything was very clean and the shower head gave a very nice shower again the best. Parking was great and we were able to get first floor accommodations.
This is a highway traveler's dream....a simple no-frills property that does the basics and does them very well. From the friendly Southern Hospitality welcome at check-in to modern comfortable accommodations and a solid breakfast with freshly brewed coffee, this hotel does it up right. Easy and un-congested access off of the Interstate and parking for large vehicles at the back of the property are a bonus as well. Although the lobby breakfast area is small, the staff did a remarkable job of greeting each guest warmly and keeping the breakfast bar clean and well stocked, even going the extra mile to set up a card table to provide additional seating during a peak rush. This is everything a highway hotel should be and more. Well done!
Very clean , next to my bed at home, I would give this a number 2 rating , it was very comfortable, great location, friendly girl st the desk, all my papers and keys ready when I walked in. Super service
Room seems fine so far, but.... no elevator? What is this the 1970's? They should be required to state this in plain language on their website. I made a reservation online and this was never mentioned. Very annoyed.. I have a spine condition that causes a lot of pain in my back and legs. I can walk, but slowly...never dreamed I would have to climb 15 stairs. Just wanted everyone else to know in case you have someone in your group that can't climb stairs easily.
Just needed a place for one night and this was a really good choice. Very easily could stay here 3 or 4 nights. Comfy beds, clean rooms, nice staff and excellent breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and or recommend to others.
Very nice bed, decent breakfast with sausage and make-your-own waffles. Some minor issues like trucks and trailers blocking parking spaces, but no huge complaints. The A/C unit was a little noisy, but tolerable for a heavy sleeper like myself. Solid 7.5/10 if you can score a good deal.
While driving home from visiting family we were in need of some rest. My husband has a membership card for Best Western so we decided to try this place. I called from the road to try to reserve a room. The girl at the front desk told me there was a room available so I asked to have it reserved for us as we are tired and ready for some sleep. I have my rewards card and credit card out ready to answer her questions when she informs me that she can't reserve rooms. We have to book them and pay online. Confused and thinking I had just misheard her I asked her again and she told me again that she doesn't book rooms. Then after asking if I would be able to use my rewards card online the call was disconnected. I tried calling back to no answer. We ended up finding a much better hotel with extremely gracious staff. If this type of service is what we are to expect with Best Western we may take our Platinum membership elsewhere. It's important for us to count on good service as my husband spends at least 30 to 50 nights in a hotel a year.
We booked the room thru the main Best Western about a hour before arriving..once we arrived the front desk clerk Candice advised that there was a mistake in the booking but she was going to make it right so we got same size bed but she gave us a discounted rate. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfy. There was plenty of hot water. The breakfast was very good. The all around atmosphere at this place is well above average.
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Excellent place for a 1-2 night stay. Clean and everything you need around you . we were at the beginning of a long trip. We use Best Western practically everywhere we go. This hotel fits the BestWestern criteria perfectly.
Unfreindly. I expected much more, but felt like I was staying a a no name hotel in the ghetto. The cost was about %50.00 too much for a hotel that looked like it was a converted motel 6 hotel. Will not sta here again.
Hotels around Nashville are so expensive! We opted for this Best Western while in the area for a wedding, and I was a little hesitant about it. I'm really picky about where we stay, and this place was just fine. It's very clean, room was freshly painted, new carpeting and comfortable bedding. I don't like having an outside door to the room, but I dealt with it; have to go outside in the morning to get breakfast in the lobby. The breakfast was fairly good, and the owner/manager is very nice and attentive. I'd recommend staying here.
Staff was very friendly. On the outside it didn't look so great but the room was clean. It smelled clean. I'd stay here again. Breakfast was great except for the eggs. They do have a lot to offer for a small place.
My family and I were in town for a reunion and stayed with this hotel. Everything was great! From the front desk to the room, everything was clean and in shape. Right off of the interstate which was good if you want to explore surrounding cities. Front desk was friendly and helpful, Overall a great stay!
Our room was clean and fresh. hotel is just off interstate so easy to find. There is a restaurant across the parking lot and others nearby. There is plenty of shopping on same street as hotel. Overall pleasant stay.
1 night stop, wanted something cheaper than in Nashville. This worked, hotels are just expensive these days. Everything was clean and the breakfast was really good. Very convenient to the interstate and multiple restaurants were close.
We love Best Western Hotels and the one in Dickson, TN did not disappoint us. I had tried to call the hotel from my cellphone and I did not have a great connection. I spoke with Joyce at the front desk and we tried to make the reservation. She realized that an error had been made, on my part, and a second reservation had been mistakenly made. She called me immediately to let me know and resolve the problem. Most front desk clerks would not have done that and it's people like this who make a hotel worth staying at. Right next door to the hotel is a Logan's Roadhouse which was very convenient. The room was very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was very good. There were fresh bananas and apples, sausage and gravy, eggs, just to give a general idea. I would stay there again.
This hotel is right off Rt 40 on the west side of Nashville. The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. They do allow dogs for a $25 fee. They have a hot breakfast included that was very good. They even had eggs! There is a Logan's Steakhouse right next to the hotel. We had a first floor room near the back and it was very quiet.
I want to start off by saying Joyce the angel that works the front desk is truly the nicest, most patient, and sweetest women you could ever meet she is very professional and will go out of her way to help you if needed the rooms are super clean thanks to the cleaning people I work construction and every day I get off work the room looks just like the first time I walked in thanks for giving me a very comfortable stay yall!
The hotel is nice compared to the choices my company offers. The staff were very pleasant on all shifts. the breakfast was the usual breakfast I see at most hotels. We had to leave for work at 5:30 and the crew did get to eat. I am the coffee drinker in the bunch. The coffee was great. The room smelled great upon entering, it and the bedding were clean. I had 2 rooms booked for work. I am staying again for work this week. I was able to use the business computer and print from it as well. The use of a printer seemed to be an issue in all the hotels in the area we stayed at the previous week.
Dickson is the middle point for my family in Tennessee and Arkansas. Location is great-right off the interstate. Dickson is a small city and everything is nearby. Hotel was okay but not great. Room appeared to be decently cleaned. Breakfast was okay and the attendant was super friendly and kept everything full. Didn't like the rooms were outside entry and our view was the back of an abandoned Chinese restaurant with a truck that someone appeared to be living out of. It served its purpose for a 2 night family meet up but we will not stay there again.
We stayed here in March while visiting some family in the area. We had a room with 2 queen beds, which allowed our young grandson a bed of his own to nap when he got tired from playing with Grandma and Grandpa. The room had plenty of room, 2 queen beds, as stated before, flat screen TV, and bath area, along with the usual small eating table and chairs. The room was clean, which Grandma checked thoroughly, knowing grandson would find dirt, trash, etc., if left alone for very long. Location worked well for us, near several places to eat, and shopping was just up the road. Interstate 40 was just off the nearby exit. There is a free warm breakfast in the lobby, as well. Seeing as our family now lives in the area, we'll be staying here when visiting them in the future.
We always try to stay at a Best Western because they are so friendly & clean! The breakfast was delicious & had a variety of items to choose from. The staff was very polite & helpful, too! The cleanliness of the room is always to the highest standards!
Nice stopover on I-40 if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Nashville. Half the price of what other BWs cost in Music City. Nothing fancy here just a good night's sleep in a clean room. Looks to be newly remodeled. Spartan but just what I needed!
My family and I stayed here the wknd of 24th, 25th and 26th for a weekend trip. Hotel from the website did not look like it did on the website. I was a bit skeptical about staying at a hotel that has rooms on the outside, but I was pleasantly surprised and it had a nice appeal to it when you approached the establishment. The bluish/grayish color scheme looked refreshing and at night the lights on the outside had a flare of color on the outside of the building. It did have an outdoor pool but it was closed. We were occupied doing other things so it was okay. The room we had in 202 was a king sized bed which came with a standard tv, microwave and small room size fridge. Upon opening the door, the carpet caught my attention first. It was an unusual stripe pattern with streaks of yellow and green and blue, but it played off the colors on the wall so it worked for the space. Basic bath, nothing special. It was clean, and bright with yellow paint on the walls. Only thing i would change would be brighter lighting. Standard sink vanity with 1 sink and iron and ironing board provided. Lobby area was directly connected to breakfast area which was small but quite lovely. Not over the top, but not lavish either. You could tell someone took the time with the decor and placement of things. Well thought out. Breakfast had sausages, waffle maker, cereal, apple and orange juice, biscuits and fruit. It was sufficient. Overall Best Western good job on renovations, cleanliness and a wonderful front desk staff and dining room hostess. Overall a good night sleep.
Hotel was clean and up to date. The hotel is located close to Interstate 40. A couple of restaurants are in walking distance. Very good restaurant in walking distance. Several gas stations nearby. Bathroom vanity area was a little cramped. Would definitely stay there again.
I stopped here on a long drive from Texas to Kentucky. The staff was VERY nice though the location was a bit worrisome. I am a young female and was traveling alone. The room I got was at the back of the building on the top floor at the very end of the hallway. I won't lie I was a little nervous going to my room as the rooms all have exterior doors. The room was very clean and quiet. I checked out and a couple of hours later I got a call that I had left my iPad in the room. I wasn't coming back through TN for 9 more days so they held it in their safe for me. I've never had a hotel give such great customer service! So a huge thank you to the manager Trish and her team!
Based on the name, we expected this place to be a bit nicer. The room was clean enough though not meticulously clean. But the toiletries (soap, towels, etc) were kind of sparse and we had to ask for blankets. Only one coffee packet was in the room. The staff at the desk did their jobs but seemed bored or disinterested. The location feels a little exposed - really close to the highway. Overall, this worked for the one night and it was very affordable, but I would not especially want to stay here again. We left too early to try breakfast.
Great little place just off the interstate, friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean rooms, hot showers, full breakfast, just a few miles outside Nashville so you can avoid the city congestion. I recommend it!
it is one of the cheapest in Dickson,tn that is safe and clean will stay again there again it is clean and staff is good you get your moneys worth there internet is very good as long as you do not mind that you get to your room from the outside I just asked for a room on the bottom floor and if they have any they will let you have it I have never had a problem
We booked five rooms for our family to attend a funeral. When we walked in there was a overly sweet, sickening odor. There were bits of dirt/dust along every baseboard & build up in the corners. Spider webs & thick dust behind dressers & table. Furniture was outdated and beaten up. Bed skirt had spots of some sort of foreign matter. I walked to the ice machine room & found a filthy floor & a thick wad of hair, dirt, & ?? on the area where I've is dispensed. Thick layer of dust all over the ice machine. Housekeeping was right there & I asked them to clean it. The woman did not speak English so I pointed to the dirty wad of hair. She said no! Then went & got another housekeeper who slapped at it with her rag & started to walk off. I said wait & pointed to the other filthy areas. She looked at me with hatred and halfway wiped it off. I said"Gracias". She walked toward the other housekeeper laughing & saying in a high pitched, sarcastic voice "gracias, gracias, gracias". I went to the office & told the young boy sitting at a table. I went to my sister-in-laws room & it was even nastier than mine. A lady from the front office called & I told her all of the above. She said the girls didn't speak good English & that her motel was clean. I told her to come to the room and I would show her! Her husband, the owner, then came to the room & was very gracious and apologetic. He seemed shocked when I showed him the dirt areas & said he would correct it, refund our money, or do anything to make it right. He explained they were trying to upgrade the motel & he was ashamed of his staff. He was a super nice, professional gentleman and I hope he can make his motel a success eventually. But for now, Do NOT stay in this nasty place. We all left to find decent accommodations and our money was refunded with apologies.
convenient. located right off interstate. nice rooms. and price was exceptional for the room. most other hotels were twice the price. the room was big and the beds were comfortable. breakfast was good. no problems here.
The room was clean and the rate was reasonable for our stay. The breakfast area was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't experience any problems during our stay and have no complaints.
Stayed in this Beat Western in Dickson b/c we couldn't find a room in or near Nashville on our way home. It was fine for one night. It is an exterior door hotel, which I'm not a fan of. It has a lot of good breakfast places around, so that was nice. We were so exhausted & we slept well, so overall I would say it was an average experience, as I expected. We did not make it up on time for breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.
This at first was chosen mainly for its location but the hotel really is a nice one and we would recommend it to anyone. Should we come by this way again we would definitely stay here. Good customer service, polite & helpful.
We were just passing through on an inter-state move. We needed a place to spend the night, to refresh for the following day's driving. We didn't want to take our 26' truck downtown, so the roomy parking lot was as much a determiner as were the room and meal amenities.
This hotel was conveniently located near the interstate so that it was an easy stop from a long drive. The accomodations were very good, but the hotel lobby and the appearance on the outside was kind of lacking. The staff was great and so was the food in the morning. The reason I rated it somewhat low is because it just seemed very sketchy at night, there was poor lighting outside, and the road was very rough near it so it just seemed like a place where my car would be broken into. None of that happened and things turned out nicely, but the place could be upgraded a little aesthetically.
We liked our stop here as right off I-40, loads of places to eat in walking distance, clean room and because we were downstairs able to back vehicle up in front of our room. The employees at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
Husband and I stayed a week at this hotel to visit friends and Nashville. We arrived prior to check-in time and were given a room immediately. The room had been completely remodeled and included refrigerator and microwave - everything we needed for our week's stay. Breakfast was generous and included sausage & eggs, yogurt, bagels, cereals, make your own waffle, etc. Staff replenished each item as needed with a friendly smile and greeting & removed used plates before we did. Highly recommend.
After a very bad experience at a Motel 8 outside of Nashville on our trip to Texas I had to find another hotel for our return trip home. In the AAA book I found a Best Western Hotel in the area we were travelling. There was no comparison between the 2 hotels. The Best Western was clean and shiny. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and customer service was excellent. The breakfast was plentiful with a lot of choices and warm. We had such a pleasant nights stay that I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Plus it cost less than the dirty Motel 8.
We stayed for several days and would definitely come back. Room was clean and maintained well, pool was great, breakfast was really good, waffles and sausage gravy with biscuits, lots to choose from. Main desk helped us even search for long term housing in the area, service was great and extremely friendly and helpful.
This place was the best place we stayed on our vacation south. Clean rooms, nice spot close to our final destination of Hurrican Mills. Breakfast is above and beyond with the owner manager making our waffles for us. I would rate this motel a 10 if I could! Everyone made us feel at home after a few bad experiences at some other motels in East Tn. Will go again if in the atrea.
My sister and I had a double queen room. The room was very large and clean with a lot of space to move about. We stayed only one night but the hotel staff was very friendly and the free breakfast in the morning was delicious. The bathroom was quite small with the sink located outside of the bathroom. We did not use pool facilities so I cannot comment on that. I'm really not even sure if they have a pool. One thing to note is that -at least when I was there- the building is undergoing renovation so there is scaffolding in many spots on the exterior of the building, including right by the stairs to second level. My sister almost hit her head on one the scaffolding boards by the stairs. No work was going on while we were there so I cannot comment on construction noise. It was quiet at night and we felt perfectly safe here.
We checked into this room because we had major problems with the Days Inn on Music Valley Drive in Nashville. This place I would rate a 10 star. It was clean, very clean none of use worried about checking into this room. Owner cooked our waffle in the morning, and served it to everyone who wanted one. They were very pleasant, concerned people. Asked if everything was ok and cared if we had any problems. I would highly recommend this hotel. We even had better rates to stay here. We stayed a second night that was unplanned. Check this motel out.
The staff, quality of breakfast, and quality of service were well above average for a Best Western of this size and price. However, the construction and added explanation that new furniture was on its way were not comforting. We experienced difficulty maneuvering our bags around the exterior stair scaffolding we encountered getting to and from our room. The scaffolding was not only obstructive, but dangerous. There were still boards sitting on the scaffolding that moved if one even brushed against the poles. We were cautious and were not injured, but the risk was still present,
We always stay at this Hotel becausa its located close to everything we need and its always clean and a good value, the managers and the employes are always smiling and helpful, it takes the worry out of staying at hotel's when on the road knowing there will be no suprises and your room will be waiting on you.
We checked in at midnight after driving all day. We got ready for bed and the kids fell asleep. First the toilet would nto flush, like no water in the tank. So instead of waking the kids up we used the ice bucket to fill up the tank so the toilet would flush. I barely worked. When we got in bed the sheets felt damp. I am not sure why but they just were sticky feeling. For $100 a night I expect better rooms. We will NEVER stay here again. If housecleaning was doing their job and cleaning the toliet they would know that it was broken and running constantly.
Breakfast was awesome! Beds were comfortable. The first room assigned, the toilet was broken. The second room assigned, the bathroom had mold on the ceiling. Staff was friendly and attentive. The area was very quiet and the hotel is easy to access from Interstate 40.
We stayed at this Best Western on return from picking up our soldier from Ft. Jackson and attending graduation from basic training. The hotel was well maintained, and the managers/owners were super and very considerate of our needs. I will definitely stay here again when traveling down I-40. Breakfast was very good, and a lot to choose from.
We just moved from NY to the DFW area, in July no less. Me, my husband- two cars, and our cats. More than one. I purchased a AAA book about traveling with pets, and combed the reviews on here looking for a suitable ONE Night stopover for the end of the second of three legs. Lots of hotels/motels say they are pet friendly, and in fact, make the list here. But, when you call they say Dogs only - and only one. Personally, I consider this pet discrimination horrible- but I digress. This place said yes- one per room, and because there were three of us, I booked two rooms. We could drive right up to the room and get a litter box set up in each room- and get them into an air conditioned space ASAP- which again- was the only thing I cared about at all. But, that said, I like the Best Western. The beds are comfy, the AC works really well- the room was clean- and it is across the street from a steak house chain and a cracker barrel- so we could feed ourselves and not leave my precious cargo for too long. Oh, and the best western has a free breakfast that is really great. The price is really reasonable- and I imagine if I had time- I might go visit Nashville from here- I didn't- but it is very close. The staff at the front desk was very friendly - and oddly enough- there was a sign on the front desk saying they did NOT allow cats. Weird.
Traveling to Pittsburgh with our 50 lb dog, we stayed here for the night based on reviews we had read. What an excellent choice. It is very clean - including the carpets. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful. How nice to be greeted by a smile after driving 9 hours and to be put in a first floor room - so convenient for walking our dog. The room furnishing were nice for the price - not shabby and run down. We met the owner who said he is planning a full renovation but business has been so busy that he keeps delaying it. In the meantime he is keeping it well maintained and very clean. We will always stop here on our travels from Texas to Pittsburgh. Great value.
Traveling from Austin to Cape Cod with a 30 lb. dog, we go out of our way to spend a travel night here. Right off highway 40, don't expect beautiful scenery or pastoral landscaping or family owned restaurants. It's strip and grit and chain food. But the hotel is inexpensive, very clean rooms, good towels, quiet, pleasant and efficient staff. Lots of green grass to walk the dog. Staying on the ground floor is particularly convenient for a quick overnight stay.
My wife and I stopped for the night and the room was alright. The bathtub had a crack in the bottom and the room was slight musty. We just so happened to stay there during a moto-x race a couple towns away so it was busy outside most of the night. Aside from that the place was good.
We arrived here after a long drive and just needed a place to sleep before completing the drive to our destination. The front desk was very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. We had breakfast in the morning an were on our way. It suited our purpose at the time. The only downfall was the gas station in front of the hotel seemed sketchy, but we did arrive around 1230 in the morning so I would imagine it would be better in the daytime.
Stayed at this hotel because of convenient location. The staff was very friendly and professional. The grounds and the rooms, however, need a good cleaning and/or update. Our experience with Best Western hotels in the past have been much better.
Had a great staff and excellent hot breakfast. The hotel was older but updated rooms. The outdoor pool was clean and good especially for kids. The location was 30 plus miles from Nashville but the price was better. Dixon has a nice historical section downtown to visit.
Clean, old, dark with no outlets that work. The staff is very nice, good breakfast for a free hotel breakfast. Good coffee. The rotting Chinese Buffet restaurant in front is a turn off, and my husband was afraid to use the gas station in front of the hotel. Good Luck to this hotel as there is a new Comfort Inn and Hampton Inn across the street that are cheaper!! or at least in the same ballpark. Dickson nails you on room taxes. I had a room for $117 and it was $140 when I checked out. I have stayed here twice, and hopefully will find another option in the future.
There is a surprisingly large amount of hotels on this exit right off of the interstate. This Best Western had a great breakfast, the pool was good even though the water was freezing, and the room looked to be newly updated. Even though we got a pet friendly room, we were impressed with how clean and modern it was. We felt that the price of the hotel was reflective of what you get. Definitely try the breakfast!
The hotel was clean and all the usual perks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was fresh and kept up well, even for us that got up late. The hotel was filled to capacity and we never heard all the coming and goings of the other quest.
Stayed here on both going and the return trip. Nice pool and good breakfast buffet. Very clean. Some confusion of our return trip day. They had our return reservations wrong but they credited my account and set up the correct day. The front desk help was great!
Very friendly staff.A/C worked fine in high heat and humidity Mattresses were uncomfortable, seemed it was past time to replace. Hotel dated but clean TV sets were dated, early LED, time to replace with larger screen sizes---42" plus, if location wants to stay competitive Front desk person working 9:00 AM on July 4th,2016 provided service beyond required. removed dirty dishes for guests eating breakfast, provided drink refills, all while efficiently running front desk.
I love when you find a hotel that you can walk to various restaurants and stores. AFter being in the car all day, it's great to stretch your legs. Everyone was so pleasant here and the price was right. You won't go wrong giving this place a try when you are in the area.
Although the facility is aging, it was clean and the room was very neat. Well worth the moderate price. Staff was friendly. The night we stayed, it was full. Fortunately we had a reservation for a Monday night. I guess others like it as well!
Best Westerns are independently owned so sometime its a surprise. This was a good surprise. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices. Would highly recommend this Best Western.
Checked in and the lady working the desk was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. Booked a room with a sleeper sofa for our daughter, got ready to put her to bed and had no sheets so had to go to office to get sheets and a pillow for the sofa. Left the room at 1030 the next morning, and yes we placed the do not disturb sign on the inside, and when we returned at 9 that evening our room had not been touched. I went to office to get clean towels and to let them know and the same young lady was working and she apologized and was very professional in her response as she got towels and other things that should have been replaced. The next morning as we were checking out at about 8 I asked to speak with the manager. After being told that he had already left I mentioned about the sheets and the lack of housekeeping service. As far as sheets i was told, "We don't keep them in the room. You have to come down here and ask for them." When I book a king with a sleeper sofa and show that I have 2 adults and 1 child i am probably planning on using the sofa. Sheets should be in the room available for the guests to use, not in the office forcing the guest to walk to the office to get them. As far as the lack of housekeeping the response from the front desk was, "I don't know what you want me to do about it. You probably left your sign on the door." No I didn't. And I expect you to not have an attitude and to understand that I paid for a service that your hotel did not provide. I did finally get them to take half off my 2nd night and then pretty much had my receipt thrown at me and never once did I get an apology or a thank you for staying with them. Guess they don't need my business. Had another stay booked here in August but will probably look elsewhere and hope I am appreciated more.
PJ and his staff are welcoming and everything was clean, fresh hot breakfast, and they are helpful! Thanks too Jess! We were going to stay over one night, ended up basing our stay in Nashville from Dickson instead. The price, cleanliness and service is superior to places we stayed in Nashville. We will be back if we are visiting family again. Thanks, Jim and Carol
This was a very pleasant spot to stop off at to break-up a long trip. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, and the facility was very well-kept and clean. The room was large enough for my family of five to be very comfortable. I would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay! The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. And it was so nice to come back to a nice clean room after a long day of sight seeing. I would stay here again and will definitely recommend to friends! We didn't go to the pool much as it was usually later when we returned from Nashville. But it was nice and clean. It was nice to have a lot of restaurants right close by. There was a Logan's right next door to walk to. And Cracker Barrel across the highway.
Room was clean and neat. Bed comfortable, staff very polite. Pet deposit was a ripoff, $20.00 when other Best Westerns and other motels it is $10.00. So when you bring your fur covered, four legged children to this motel expect to pay more than you would elsewhere. The handicapped bathroom needs a walk in shower, with a pull down seat not a tub with a grab bar. If a person is in a wheelchair or very unsteady on their feet getting in/out of a tub would be impossible and a liability to the motel.
This hotel needs updating...it should be 59.00 a night. Difficult if you have luggage and on have a second floor room. Definitely not worth 120.00 a night. Sometimes other reviews that people give are misleading.
Me and my family we're heading home from vacation was needing a room for the night.while checking in Trish at the front desk new sign language my son was so happy to have someone that could communicate with him. Good clean room's
I booked the hotel a little late, and I barely missed reading the reviews about this property, pretty much i was at the mercy of what i found. The BW sign seemed like a relic of a bygone era. thinking of the worst case scenarios that would ensue and possible options after the fact I proceeded on. The surprises start at around the hotel and including front desk and area adjacent to it. It was clean and renovated. I looked around the room to make sure if I could spot a trip advisor decal or something of reassurance. I kindly asked the Front CSR if the hotel had been recently renovated, she politely stated 1.5 yrs. ago. She checked us in. The room was clean and very nice and clean, it smelled clean, it had everything we needed for an Overnight-Microwave/Fridge included. The A/C units looked new, just a few observations I noticed. The complimentary breakfast was awesome and over above our expectations. The brick exterior of the hotel is nice; however, the BW sign might need the new refreshed logo to compliment the inside of this Inn. Hands down, this Inn was one of our biggest surprises and first time checking to a BW. The manager(owner) and staff were awesome. Thank you for a quality hotel, highly recommend.
Traveling from N. VA to Texas, we stopped in to grab a quick overnighter. Great location to stop, plenty of places to eat, and they provide breakfast. Friendly and courteous staff are there taking care of the needs of the guests. Pet friendly. Clean rooms. I rated it as a 3/5, which is Average. It's a nice, no frills motel, but I rated the value, cleanliness, and service as 5's.
We stay here every year. It does not disappoint us. Attention to detail in service and cleanliness is satisfactory for us each and every time. Clean room and bathroom, and very comfortable bed too. Love the atmosphere with the nice staff and owners. Convenient stores, gas, and restaurants very nearby.
May 27, 2016 we stayed here and the room was very clean, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was very nice and there were lots of choices. The friendly staff member, Jessica worked hard to keep everything stocked and clean. Good choice for the money!
I was greeted at the front desk at check in and after seeing a sign that there were no vacancies, I was afraid they might be over booked. Nope, they had my reservation right there. We went to the room and it smelled good and the bed was so inviting. I slept better than I ever have in a hotel. The breakfast was also good. I was worried that we got to breakfast late, but hot, fresh, yummy food was waiting for me. Plenty of eggs, sausage, biscuits, fresh fruit and more. Oh yea, the staff were friendly and welcoming, engaging guests in conversation. My only complaint was that I had to go home.
Room was very nice and clean. Was all so quite.Jessica was very friendly and made sure the food was fresh and everybody had some.I am talking about there complimentary breakfast. Another person whom I assume was the owner or a manager was very people oriented open the doors for customers Brang them there food made sure they had a place to sit. Made us feel like we were in a very fancy 5 star hotel. I will be back and highly recommend this Best Western executive inn
This BW is in the process of being updated but rooms were clean and comfortable even with obvious work being done. Should be a perfect in all rating areas when finished. Management should be commended.
I always stay here when in Dickson TN. I know I can expect a very clean and comfortable room at a great rate, along with breakfast and an attentive staff. Access to interstate and local attractions is easy and quick.
Nothing exceptional here! This is a very "ho-hum" hotel. Location is good, and I felt safe, but I doubt if I choose this hotel again when I am in the area. It is very well used, although there have been updates made.
My husband and I stayed one night at this very nice hotel. Upon check-in we were greeted with a warm smile a cheerful hello by Tiffany. Tiffany was exceptionally nice and helpful. When asking about a new restaurant in the area that she was unfamiliar with, she summoned her manager who came out and also greeted us warmly. She had heard of the new restaurant and gave us accurate directions and wanted us to let her know about our dining experience so she could recommend this restaurant. Our hotel room was very adequate and clean. It had all of the amenities we needed. There was good water pressure at the sink and shower. The breakfast the next morning was good. Jessica, was attending to the breakfast area and she was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good and adequate. They offered eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, toast, pastries, muffins, instant oatmeal with toppings, waffles, 4 kinds of cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. They also had peanut butter, jelly, Nutella, honey and cream cheese to put on toast or other bread items. The manager came out and asked us about our dining experience at the new restaurant the previous night. The Manager, Tiffany and Jessica were all very nice and personable. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Also, the new restaurant was House of Brews in downtown Dickson and would highly recommend it.
We stayed at this hotel for 1 night, checked in at 1am and the reception desk was very nice. Room itself was just OK. Could have been a bit cleaner, but the bed sheets seemed clean and we got a good night of sleep. It is not very expensive and for a few short hours of sleep, it was worth it. Friendly staff also made a nice difference.
hotel was clean, room was nice, shower was hot and good pressure. breakfast was hot and ok. Have realized over the 2weeks we've been traveling all best westerns seem to offer sausage gravy and bisquits along with scrambeled eggs and sausage links but never bacon :(
I highly recommend this hotel the staff are amazing they went way above and beyond for us during our stay. We flew in for our granddaughters 1st birthday and they helped us in every way to make this stay stress free. I travel all over and have never had hotel staff go out of their way like these people. The hotel is nice clean and comfortable but the staff makes the place.
Over all, I experienced a clean room updated room to meet the necessities at hand. Staff was pleasant as well. Two things that I will remember was my inability to sleep was from the curtains to short width wise to stop the bright light from coming in and the stiff bed. Otherwise, all was very satisfactory.
The room was clean, decor good. Breakfast was superior. If you are looking for a place to stay this is the only choice. I really like the quality of Best Western hotels. I don't have to worry about the room being clean and the staff is always kind and willing to help.
This room was large and comfortable for a good nights sleep on our way to Memphis. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was not open yet but fit our budget for a long trip. Micro and frig in room was also great.
This motel (outside entry only) is very basic, but seemed very well kept and clean. It was the best priced option and we were glad to stay there. The breakfast was not as tasty as some, but they are trying (sausage, biscuits, gravy, eggs, etc.). The staff was helpful and friendly. We would stay there again.
The hotel is located just off the interstate we were traveling. Most rooms were let to construction crews, but despite all the trucks they were driving, parking was not a problem. There is a choice of restaurants nearby. Breakfast choices were typical, and morning clerk was friendly and helpful. We had a slight problem with getting our key card activated, but it was taken care of quickly.
There are 5 star hotels and there are 5 star hotels. This one gets 5 stars from me. I wasn't looking for a Ritz Carlton in Dickson Tn. I needed a clean comfortable room at a reasonable price. I found all that and more at the Best Western Executive Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful from the day I arrived. The room and the housekeeping were excellent. The location is convenient to all the things I need when on the road. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I was looking for a place in Nashville and all the places were about 10-15 miles away from my event and much higher. so I have had good luck with best western and gave this one a try. A good place for an alternative to Nashville.
Very clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay. I have stayed overnight on multiple occasions and have never had anything but great service. Although it's an older building, don't be fooled.....they have kept it up very nicely. The girls at the desk are great......and the owner, PJ and his wife Tina are wonderful and always around to help.
I was surprised to find the beds to very comfortable for once. I have stayed at several places and different hotels over the years, I have to say most of the time the beds are slabs with sheets as are the pillows. These beds were soft and there was soft fluffy pillows on each bed. I will get this place in mind on my next trip down.
The exterior was not impressive, but the room was large and clean with a refrigerator, microwave, and hair dryer. There is a nice, large shower head and grab bars in the bathtub. The personnel was friendly and very helpful. The motel is located between a Lone Star Steak House and a convenience store/gas station off of I-40.
First off the front desk staff are fantastic. Trish greeted me pleasantly remembering that I had been there a few weeks prior with work. When asked if there was anything else I needed as she gave me my key, I jokingly said a crunchy waffle at 6:10 the next morning would be all. The next morning as I walked in a few minutes after 6, Tiffany said she had just put a waffle in for me. I don't get this kind of service except when I visit my mother! The place is well lit, clean, staff & owners all speak to you. Once visiting here and you will not stay anywhere else when in the area.
I stay here before clean, safe, good breakfast, big rooms, easy to find. Can't hear the highway i a soft sleeper.Usually stay at Marriott but none in town & Nashville 30 minutes away. i left a tip wish could call me about my sweat pants i left there?
The staff to this hotel were very attentive. The breakfast was very good. It was next door to a restaurant. The place is older. There were some obvious repairs that had been made a few times already. The carpet felt a bit ugh under my feet. The lights were so bright outside that when I woke at 4 a.m. I thought I had overslept and that it was full bright morning. As a single woman traveler I felt wary of staying here and I wouldn't again.
During a winter storm, my wife and I had to get a hotel right next to the hospital where we work to make sure we could be there during the winter storm. During check in, the staff was absolutely amazing. Super friendly and very helpful. The rooms were super clean and updated with nice furniture. On our second of three nights, my wife needed some supplies, and Trish went well beyond her call of duty to find everything my wife needed. The roads were all icy and dangerous to drive on, so we were unable to get to a store to pick up toiletries and such, but Trish was able to find razors, shaving cream, lotion and much more because she understood we weren't from the area, and couldn't get to the store. The owner PJ was present every time we went to the office, and was really friendly and engaged in conversation with a smile on his face. Will gladly recommend this best western to to anyone. The staff was amazing and the room was a very clean and inviting one.
My only problem with our stay was that the bath towels are very small. The beds were very comfortable and firmness was just right. Pillows were a little "puffy" but I slept well on them. The room and bathroom were very clean. We have always been happy with our stay at Best Western Hotels around the U.S.
I've always liked staying at this hotel. It is much better than other Best Western hotels I've stayed at. Management and staff go out of their way to help you and hey are really friendly here. There are other hotels in the area but I have always liked this hotel and will travel an hour longer is need be to stay at this particular Best Western
The management here needs to be VERY proud of their team. We are in a puppy-friendly room on the "quiet side," even though I40 is roaring nearby. Logan's Roadhouse is next door, so leaving the pup in the truck in her bed while we went to dinner was totally comfortable and safe. One side of this Inn is smoker-friendly, and the other is not. What a gift to both sides! Many truckers, etc., stay here, and everyone feels welcomed. We paid $92 for us and the dog; I will come back here anytime. No frills, just very good!
I was already loving the quick check in, my room was nice, clean and comfy. Trish was very welcoming at the front desk. Just after going to bed my 5 year old daughter woke up and got sick on the bed. I called the front desk and Trish came to exchange my sheets for me. She asked if she could get her anything maybe some sprite and pepto from the gas station next door. I said yes and gave her some cash. This was such a blessing because my 7 month old was asleep & i am one sleepy mom who has to drive in the morning with 2 little ones. I've stayed here before and I will be making sure to spend my money here when I am traveling through. Thanks BW Exec for having such awesome employees and thank you Trish for going the extra mile!
If you have ever traveled with a cat, you understand how difficult it can be to find a hotel that accepts felines. Dogs are routinely welcomed at hotels, but cats generally are not allowed at most places. I was driving from North Carolina to Texas with a daughter and her cat, and we hoped to spend the night in a Memphis Best Western. Unfortunately, none of their hotels in that city would allow us to bring her cat, a well-traveled, well-mannered little guy. So we looked at other locations along I-40 and managed to find this hotel. A quick phone call to the hotel was all it took, and one of the owners personally approved our cat as a guest. We were so relieved! When we arrived at the hotel, we discovered it was perfect for the road-weary traveler. The young lady at the front desk welcomed us cheerily and the gentleman at checkout was just as friendly and efficient. Our room was peaceful through the night. The linens in the room looked, smelled, and felt spotless. The towels were brilliantly white, fluffy, and generously-sized. The bedding was clean and fresh. Everything in the room that we used worked beautifully, including the bathroom fixtures. The internet was fast and easy to log into, and parking was plentiful. The heating/air conditioning allowed us to keep it running on only a fan so we would not be awakened by the unit turning on during the night. The following morning, breakfast was ready at 6:00am, early enough for us to eat and still hit the road quickly in the morning. The selection is not large, but it is tasty, fresh, and plentiful. The only negative point is that one of the beds had a large crater in the mattress, as if a child had jumped on it and broken the supporting springs inside. It didn't matter to us since we had two beds and that person slept on the other side of the mattress. The beds were comfortable and well-appointed with blankets and pillows, all of which smelled, felt, and looked freshly-washed. From now on, when we make the drive between Texas and North Carolina, we will be sure to stay here again.
Good value, Exceptional clean, Quiet, Staff A+ The Staff very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Was very convenient with parking right in front of door making unload/load easy. Will deffinately stay here again!
this was a last minute booking for a travel softball tournament for my daughter, we enjoyed the stay. we stayed 2 nights . it was fairly close to everything . we didnt have the free breakfast because we had to be at the softball field so early.
Check-In was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was very suitable for our stay. Set-up was a nice presentation. The guest room itself was excellent, other than the issue with the phone not working, which did not bother us. Everything was very enjoyable! Room was clean and furnished to convenience. I highly recommend Best Western for a great stay.
Nice room - very clean. About $77 with AARP discount. Breakfast was great. Eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, fruit, yogurt, etc.... Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. No complaints whatsoever! It's right off the highway - but no highway noise.
Great service, quiet location with many food options a minute away. Staff was friendly and provided a nice breakfast experience. My room wasnt ready, but they went out of their way to upgrade me to a larger room at no cost to me. Good customer service.
Thanks to TDOT and thp, my trip home was delayed so I decided to call it a day. While watching 7 TDOT workers stand around deciding who should pick up the cones, I googled places to stay in dickson with the reasonable expectations of being able to reach that exit before dawn. The hampton was full and the Best western was next. I called, they had rooms available so I made the decision that I would stay there if by some miracle I made it to the exit. My check in was fast, room was clean and my stay was quiet. It is close to the interstate and a lot of traffic in the area. My room was at the front of the hotel and it was still quiet. Bed was nice, towels were good quality and tv was good. Rooms at the backnof the hotel should be quieter if that is a concern. Stairs are in the middle so shorter walk for the middle rooms if staying on upper floors. Breakfast was fine, not the embassy but better than some others. Staff was nice and kept everything stocked fully. I wanted a clean, decent and safe place to sleep. Overall, average price, decent clean room so it was what I wanted. Would stay here again without hesitation.
Another overnight stay on a 3,000 mile road trip. Telephoned my reservation to the hotel and received excellent service from Trish. Asked for a smoke free, pet free, room away from the previously reported noisy highway and that's exactly what was waiting for us upon our arrival. The room was spacious, quiet, recently renovated (new carpet, fresh paint, etc.) and was very clean. Breakfast was good and Beth made checkout a breeze. Look forward to staying here again.
My husband and I are planning to move to TN next fall once I can retire. We decided to take a trip to Dickson to see the area because it looked nice on the internet. We always liked Best Westerns so when we saw this 1 we booked it. We are glad we did ! The price was right which included breakfast, the hotel was nice and clean, the staff were all just wonderful especially the 2 owners and a front desk person named Tiffany. They were very friendly, helpful and just plain nice :) From what we saw all 3 of them went out of thier way for each and every guest ~~ They are great ! We will be staying there each and every time we need go down there before are big move !!
We have stayed here several times while traveling and have never been disappointed. The rooms have always been consistantly clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and very friendly. The owner is present on the property a good deal of the time and has made sure we were happy with our stay. The value is also exceptional. We have stayed at much more expensive hotels that weren't nearly as clean and offered no breakfast. Here they have a full, hot breakfast including everything from buscuits and gravy to yogurt and fresh fruit.
I asked for a quiet room. I was told that the motel was quiet and that there were had been no guest complaints. This is not a quiet motel! The traffic noise loud and unremitting. Three, count 'em, three cell phone conversations, right in front of my door at 7 am. A lot of money for no sleep!
We had 2 rooms. One for a dog. Checked in late. Horrible smell in both rooms. Front desk said it was from new asphalt. Other guests said it was an over turned road hill truck. No other rooms left. Sprayed room and fixed toilet. I got used to smell, my sister did not. She didn't sleep.
This was a stop before getting on the Natchez Trace Parkway. Room was from an older hotel but had been updated. Not over the top but doable. Good value with nice staff. You had outside entrances so you parked by the door of the room.
This was a good overnight stop on my drive from Texas to Ohio. I needed a reasonably priced place to stay where I could bring my cat that was close to my route without having to go all the way to Nashville or the other side. The staff was friendly and the room was clean.
A great stay, in a quiet area. I noticed that the room was very clean and newly redecorated. I would stay there again because of the area. There are several good restaurants nearby, such as Cracker Barrel, O'Charleys. Also, McDonalds and Wendy's for fast food junkies.
If you would like to watch HBO, be sure to request a room that has been "programmed". Otherwise, it's luck of the draw. Maintenance and cleanliness could be a tad better but overall a decent value and right next to a Logan's Roadhouse.
This was our midway stop to Ashville NC. Nice room. Comfortable beds. Quiet room on opposite side of highway. Free breakfast. If that doesn't do it for you, Cracker Barrel is nearby. Parking is roomside.
The location was convenient for our one night stop on our road trip. The overall experience was good and we would stay at this hotel again if passing through Dickson in the future. One thing to note this property is older but well maintained and has an outside access to all the guest rooms. The outside access worked well for us because we were on the ground floor and parked just outside our room. Good value.
I made a reservation here based on the good reviews I had read. Upon arrival, after dark, I asked to see the room before paying for it (as I always do). I was given a room at the very end of the hotel in a dimly lit area (this hotel has outdoor corridors) as this was the "pet room". Upon going inside, I saw a roach crawling on the mini fridge. I took a photo of the roach with my phone and showed it to the desk clerk who cancelled my reservation upon my request.
We had stayed here the week before and made reservations for our return trip. We were told that we could have the same room we had. Which we were happy about because it was on the end and away from the Interstate, However when I checked in, I was told that we had been moved to the 2nd floor because someone wanted rooms side by side, We of course were traveling with our Dog, and this was not acceptable. I said if you put us on the 2nd floor, will keep going. So we than were put in another 1st floor room, but it was not clean and had a lot of noise. We have reservations at other Best Westerns on our trip and am now concerned, It was not a good experience and do not recommend this place to stay.
We were on vacation and at the last moment decided to stay here! We will be back! Rooms were very clean, nice and smelled great. We were given AARP rates and Military rates, both discounts! Maybe we weren't suppose to but everyone was so friendly and nice! But the next morning when we went into breakfast who did we meet, the owner P.J., he was cooking waffles for anyone who wanted them! He is a great person, has a wonderful personality and good humor! Very professional who owns this hotel and congrats to his great working staff!
