Je m’inscris The king size bed/room was nice and big. Lots of space to put items on counter. It was quiet, the main reason I requested a top floor. I did not use any of the options that were offered, did not have breakfast. Did not use the exercise room. The clerk was very friendly and informative.
this place is horrible if you value your health the staff at front desk needs retrained very rude to each other, the kitchen person need trained how to cook and clean the dinning areas. house keeping needs trained how to move stuff when vacuuming. maintaince needs trained on upkeep and proper painting ect. as pictures show.
mold and and paint pealing all over food well don't order omelet if you want it cooked right. staff rude ac didn't work well in room just to much nasty to list . the house keeping doesn't move anything , dinning area water all over the counters near coffee and juice. kitchen / dinning area needs taught how to organize and keep clean areas. front desk needs to stop fighting i could have added more pictures
There weren't any other hotels available in Crawfordsville. It was so crowded because it's very rural off the interstate. We walked into the best Western plus and the girl was pretty friendly at the counter. When we walked into our hotel room, we noticed that the elevators are old and dirty, looking on the outside, not as bad as Biloxi Mississippi, but pretty dirty, and then when we got to the room and opened up the door, it was sold as a suite and they have so much room there that no one even uses it. It was kind of strange. It didn't look like a bedroom is like an old suite. The AC was a wall unit that looks very old. Is it from the olden days and outdated but it worked and was set at 62. I was actually cold at night, but the pillows in the bed were very hard and I did not sleep good I think I got, just a few hours of sleep I mostly was awake because I couldn't get comfortable in the bed. The shower worked and the bathroom clean, but it was outdated too. The room would be great for a bunch of roadwork or electricians and you guys wouldn't care but if you're with your wife or your kids it's not that good. It's nice that in the corner of an old outdated teeny tiny eating area. They have free breakfast and they make omelettes, but the coffee is in a little tiny old-fashioned dispenser machine and is very tasting and kind of watery . Stepping into the twilight zone
Awful stay. TV didn't work. AC didn't work, room never got below 81 degrees, "maintenance" was clueless. No one to make the breakfast omelet. Was promised a small discount, but of course I didn't get it. Plenty other choices in the immediate area and within 20 miles. Go elsewhere.
The breakfast is the best part of our stay aside from the helpful and friendly staff! We will definitely come back! Thank you.
Pool was freezing cold and breakfast was barely warm. Sauna was a lifesaver and liked the view from the rooms on the backside of the hotel but couldn't get a room there this time.. Like the citrus soap and dispensers. The employees were nice and everything was clean. Ps. Don't waste your money on Subway. Go to brother's Pizza by the square.
It is our favorite hotel in the Indianapolis area. We have stayed a number of different place and this is the best. It has a great breakfast with fresh cooked food in clouding a custom omelet station. Friendly helpful staff and comfortable rooms. The price is competitive compared other hotels. We also like the wall mounted shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Eco friendly hotel.
My family and I enjoyed the Crawfordsville facilities. Unfortunately, we were charged an additional $258 more than agreed upon, finding this out only when our credit card statement arrived as the hotel's printers were down and no receipt could be provided at the time of checkout. We paid for our stay on Booking.com. Called a month before the visit date directly to the hotel at Booking.com's suggestion to move the two day stay up one day. The hotel assured us it was possible and provided a receipt indicating the change in dates and the updated pricing. We stayed our two days, checked out, handing in our keys and asking for a receipt. As noted above, no receipt could be provided. Only later did we see the extra charge. I called the hotel and they denied making any charge. I called Booking.com and they said no charge was made on their end. The credit card statement clearly states "Best Western Crawfordsville". What followed was a five week ping-pong between me, the hotel and Booking.com. I provided all receipts (original booking, revised booking from the hotel and credit card statements). Each time I was assured it would get fixed but nothing happened. Finally, nearly two months after the stay and the unauthorized charge, I had to call the credit card company to dispute the charge. Unfortunate.
Very helpful staff, courteous. Close to the American Legion where out training session was. Comfortable beds, hot water
The people we talked to were fine, the hotel was rather deserted since we came at a not so popular time. So we thought it would be nice. We not only got locked out of our hotel rooms for an hour, in our wet swimsuits with no phones, no keys, and no access to our rooms. When we woke up in the morning, my boyfriend got water leaking on him in the restroom. It was leaking out of the bathroom vent, AND LIGHT FIXTURE!!! Then when we were checking out, I was told a 20% discount would be applied. Okay at least I get some money back. They call back later, 15% is the absolute best they can do. Guess who didn't even get a discount even after calling them back?? Mee
At first, I thought we had made a mistake getting this room. The building is old and dated. I had thought it would have been newer. The rooms are large, but again mostly dated. It is hard to update old walls and cabinets. There was new tile in the bathrooms and the shower was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the towels soft. The room grew on us and we didn't mind it as time went on. The front desk was very friendly. The breakfast was a little different than the usual. They had omelets that were more homemade and a wonderful yogurt machine. The hotel was close to the highway, but quiet. I think a 4.0 is the rate I would give, not 4.2
Great place to stay right off the interstate. I stay here 2 to 3 times a year with a good breakfast and friendly staff. Of the better hotels around the area. It is very clean and will not disappoint you.
The staff was the friendliest and were approachable, as well as, forthcoming to assist before even being asked. The breakfast was delicious, often restocked, and had high quality appliances on making the meal the very best. The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable!
Had a very pleasant quick overnight stay. 2 age groups of boys basketball teams there. Very rowdy until 3am, did not sleep well. Front desk clerk very friendly.
Stayed here while in town for the eclipse. Hotel was sold out & breakfast packed with people. It was crowded in the small dining area, but the food made up for the inconvenience. There's a window where you walk up to place your order for a custom omelette. Nice touch. Coffee wasn't great, but overall we had great stay!
Could the night clerk be any lazier? This guy gets paid way to much to say ok. I unfortunately stay here to often and I like the girls and morning staff, there's just a smug way he carries himself and I've been waiting for batteries for my remote for a couple days. Good breakfast. I've always told the girls to call my room if there's trouble and I'm concerned about them being alone at night, but this is a joke. I'm trying to not stay at best Westerns but I'm a driver and id rather sleep in my truck at this point.
Clean and very comfortable accommodations. Staff was friendly and attentive. Lots of delicious selections for breakfast; waffles, omelets, seasoned potatoes, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, cereals, toast, etc. Appreciated their mindfulness for conserving energy and water resources. Dispensers for soaps and lotions are a plus.Really no need for the small bottles.
My stay was amazing the breakfast was hot and fresh the front desk was friendly and professional the pool area was very clean and accommodating the lobby bathrooms was clean and fresh will stay again...................................
I love this hotel it is the best and it is clean smells good breakfast very good and fresh in the morning very good fresh coffee the staff is very nice everything is excellent here I love it everyone that comes to crawfordsville Indiana should stay here
Door to room had a huge gap at the bottom (to the point you could see the lights in the room and the cabinet just beyond). It was very difficult to make the door latch close and the deadbolt was very close to falling apart and equally difficult to line up and close. Coffee offered at breakfast was disgusting from a machine that appeared to have never been cleaned.
Don't pick here if you need actual rest. The proprietor allows the lobby to be used as a bar. Loud drunk group with loud music, very drunk and very loud. We asked them to be quiet but no luck. Front desk didn't care. $200 a no night rest!
Very clean place right off the interstate the staff was excellent to with. Hot breakfast was a great start to the morning. This Best Western is close to town with lots of restaurants. I would recommend staying at this hotel
This hotel isn't fancy but it is clean and the service is snappy. They are doing a renovation right now to make things even nicer...but we were never inconvenienced by the workers or any noise. The mattresses may be new - they were firm and extremely comfortable. We stay here every year for the Covered Bridge Festival. The festival is about 45 minutes away but it's a lovely car ride through rural southwest Indiana.
Nice hotel, very clean room, good breakfast with hot sausage, eggs and breakfast potatoes.. and an excellent chef (named Anthony) who made customized, made-to-order omelets! The omelets were fantastic!
This was a less than pleasant stay for us. The first room had long hairs all over the bathroom floor so we asked to be moved. The next room was better but soap from a previous guest was still in the soap holder and we had to get another bath towel since we only had one. We also had only one cup and at this point decided we wouldn't stay here again.
The staff was very accommodating, and friendly. My husband had his hip and knee replaced and hard for him to walk very far, so the staff had us a room ready just off the lobby. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy Breakfast nothing really to speak of. We recommend this hotel.
Staff was kind, at least there's that. They held a wedding there that was loud and obnoxious from 10pm-4am. Drunks bumping into people, smashing into walls. Room was in rough shape but usable. Pancake and waffles machine was broken. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
- Conveniently located, easy to get to and from from Interstate - Friendly and helpful staff - Clean public areas and rooms - Ample parking - Not far to local historical area, restaurants, and local park
Traveled with my husband, kids, and tiny dog. Im weird about smells so I was thrilled that it didn't smell or look like a pet friendly place! The halls were quiet. The staff was welcoming and helpful.
Wonderful hotel close to downtown with easy access to highway. Rooms are clean. There is a hot breakfast which includes made to order omelettes and make your own waffle with toppings. On-site parking available at no charge.
My husband and I were traveling to a wedding in Columbus, and chose this hotel based on location. It was convenient, just off the interstate. So the pros were convenience, a Cracker Barrel just down the drive, and the check-in woman gave us a better rate when we asked. We also discovered Wabash College, a wonderful campus to walk around. Now for the cons. We were given a room as we requested, higher floor and away from the elevator. But upon entering, the room had not been cleaned at all. Back downstairs with all our luggage, and were given another room. In that room, the TV did not work at all. Husband went down and was given a different remote. In the morning, there was an omelet station, but there was a sign there that said "Be right back." We were there for quite a while, and the man never came back, so no omelets. He was very busy refilling everything else, but even after we went to get our things and came back down to check out, the "Be right back" sign was still there. Disappointing.
The stay itself was fine, it was afterwards that's been horrible. A week before my stay, I cancelled my reservation and rebooked a different room. I was told the hotel would process my refund for the cancelled room, but they give me the runaround and the manager won't return my calls. Bottom line, I paid for two rooms and used one, didn't even get keys for the 2nd room. Will not work with this company again.
The hotel looked promising, but a series of mishaps made it into a disaster. We had checked into our room but found that the shower had not been cleaned. So we went to the front desk, and they put us in a room across the hall. The room across the hall did not have any electricity for the lights or phone on the right side of the bed, we let the front desk know and they suggested to check the plug at the headboard which we did. Part of the sliding door lock was missing on the door as well. We went to bed and were awakened at 2:00 in the morning by someone entering our room with a dog. We quickly let them know that somebody was already in the room. We went to the front desk and apparent a different person at the front desk was not made aware of our room change. After not sleeping much after the incident, we had a knock on the door from housekeeping, I told them we would be leaving in about an hour, about 20 minutes we had another knock from housekeeping and had to tell them the same thing again. My wife was terrified and angry about the entire incident. The breakfast the next morning was the highlight of our stay, and was very good. The person at the front desk offered a refund of our stay but said we would have to go through booking.com first to request it. I have since contacted both booking.com and the property and have not received any response, hence I am posting my review here. I am disappointed with Booking.com as they did not even post my review not made any attempt to contact me.
Overall was a nice stay, We're returning next week. Quiet stay. Manager really stepped up when the breakfast cook was too sick to show up and did the best she could to resolve the issue by cooking herself. She deserves a raise!
Room was clean and comfortable. EV charging station was a nice amenity and was the reason I chose the hotel. Although the breakfast sounded good, it was actually was a major disappointment, with rotten and over-ripe fruit, stale bread, and pathetic made to order omelets. The other selection - waffles , eggs, sausage, potatoes, etc. seemed OK.
We rented three rooms for a family wedding in the area. One room had a left over snack and a hair scrunchy on the floor by the nightstand. It also has no tv remote so when I asked for a replacement I received one with out a battery cover. A second room had a diaper on the floor by the bed. Clearly lacking an attention to cleanliness, standard upkeep, and any detail.
Our rooms were reserved since April of 22, we were suppose to be all together or close, but we were split on 3 different floors. The rooms were dirty, cereal pieces smashed into the floor around the bed areas, empty McDonald's cups and empty water bottles under the bed. Dirty clothes in the closet of one of our rooms. There was no TV remote in our room. The "clean" sheets on the bed looked like The soaps in the bathroom were not replenished, thank goodness we had brought some. Even the soap in the downstairs public bathroom was empty.
Room was dirty with clothes from a previous occupant on the floor. Main bathroom light burned out and the dispensers in the bathroom did not work. Front desk didn't seem to care. I don't think I will ever stay at this hotel again. Major Fail.
This is one of the best Best Westerns I have stayed in. I travel to the East Coast several times a year with my dog. This is a wonderful place to stop. Clean, comfortable roms. Excellent breakfast and great staff. Just a real pleasure. Great value for the money as well.
Breakfast sub par, bed yesterdays new… sheets on second bed in bottom of bed? We expected more from the BW brand. Other brands have better breakfast and accommodations. A motorcycle was parked in half of my HC parking. Good management would correct 95% of my issues.
If you can appreciate great service and value for your dollar, stay at this Best Western property. The staff was very gracious and helpfull. The town had great Stopping in at Alice's Resturant in downtown was an added bonus. Thanks to Best Western for making our stay great.
I have stayed at this hotel three times this year. We keep going back to this one compared to some of the other ones around the prices are reasonable and the rooms are clean. They have a great breakfast, and the receptionist are willing to help you.
This is the only hotel we stay at when we are in Indiana! It is always clean and the staff is always so friendly. The pool is always clean and the housekeepers are so friendly and go above and beyond to help you.
The room had bedbugs. I trapped one and took it to the front desk. I then took video of them all over the bed. The hotel offered me a different room with a broken air conditioner but I checked out instead. Unfortunately after driving 12 hours I was now stuck at midnight without a room being as everything was booked up. I had to then drive an additional hour to find a room in Indianapolis. Thanks Best Western
Room was traditional size. Hallway had a machine in it designed to mask odors that was worse than the original smell. Breakfast was not set up on time and the cook, who was there for individually prepared omelets, stared at his grill for 10 minutes before we just gave up and ate the prepared eggs. Desk clerk was often away from the desk. No carts for use in moving luggage from the room to the car. Best part of our visit to this motel was seeing it in our rear view mirror. Not recommended.
We stayed the night to recharge ourselves and our EV. EV Charger is available with a key from the front desk. All the employees were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The room looks fairly new with an updated bathroom. Bed was a little firm for my taste but I still had a good nights sleep. The hotel was very quiet. Breakfast in the am was the usual fare. Waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. They even had a made to order omelette. The pool was nice and we had the pool to ourselves there was even a sauna! There is a Cracker Barrell within walking distance. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.
I actually wish I were staying here another night! Very clean, the bed was comfortable, towels soft. Every member of the staff with whom we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. We had a room with a king-size bed on the first floor. It had a small upholstered sofa and all the items you usually find in a hotel room. The WiFi connect easily. (I mention it because on our 2-week travels, this was not always the case). I loved the bathroom which was fairly large compared to those in other hotels along our trip. The shower had easy sliding, clear glass doors, not a tub-weth-a-shower. In the shower was a dispenser with shampoo, shampoo, and conditioner, all with a mild citrus scent. The sink had (citrus) bar soap in a soap dish but also provided the usual mini bottles of lotion, shampoo and conditioner. There was a “hydrating lotion” dispenser on the wall beside the sink, as well. The complementary breakfast was wonderful. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage patties, hash brown potatoes. There was batter to make a hot waffle, cereals, breads, sweet rolls, bagels and the different spreads. Toaster, microwave oven - but the most impressive part of breakfast was that an attendant was there to make made-to-order omelets. Small omelets, yes, but made with cheese, fresh vegetables of your choice , and/ or ham, sausage, bacon. The hot coffee may have been the type that was a liquid concentrate mixed with hot water - the kind that used to be served at many hotels, ( and at Burger King restaurants many years ago). It does have a different taste from ground, brewed coffee - but I actually always liked it…and it's always fresh, never burnt-tasting. A feature that I saw in other hotels during our trip was a sign that informed us that to conserve water and keep staff safe from COVID, we wouldn't have room cleaning except every 3 days and fresh towels only upon request at the front desk. No sign to that affect here. We didn't have advance reservations to stay here as we didn't know where we were going to stop on this part of our trip, yet the price was the same as several other hotels where we did have advance reservations. I expected to pay more. Absolutely the best hotel experience during our 2-week road trip.
The price of the room (they have senior discounts), the friendly service, and the great personal morning omelettes make this hotel a best stay EVERY time I reserve a room. I use the pool and the temperature is just perfect! BW also offers a great Rewards Program too.
The sheets on one bed were dirty. There were old French fries on the floor and hair in the sink and shower from previous guests. The front desk staff gave us a new set of sheets to change ourselves, but nothing else was done.
Traveling from PA to SD. Stopped fir the night. Dawn, the clerk, was friendly and the check-in was quick. The room was spacious. The shower was hot. Made to order omelet bar for breakfast was a nice treat. Had an indoor heated pool. Would stay again.
Easily accessible from Interstate 74, the hotel has comfortable, spacious rooms. With the excellent options for breakfast -- including made-to-order omelets, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, and seasoned potatoes -- a guest will probably need to use the indoor pool or the fitness room to burn off the calories. The hotel has the environmentally-friendly practice of card-activated power in each of the rooms, which can lead to a warm start to your stay if the weather is sunny and warm. However, the air-conditioning unit was effective and cooled the room to an acceptable temperature. The most significant issue with the hotel property is the parking lot, which has several noticeable issues.
This Best Western is our favorite and we stay there anytime we travel through the area. Extremely clean and well maintained, friendly and helpful staff, and delicious omelets made to order for breakfast!
My family stayed at this hotel and it was such a nice place to stay. We enjoyed the roominess of the room. We also enjoyed the pool. The fountain in the pool area was a nice touch. We also enjoyed the fitness area. The breakfast was yummy, especially the homemade omelettes! The staff was also very nice. We would stay here again in the future.
Our quick stay in Crawfordsville was pleasant. The staff at BW were all friendly and efficient. We asked recommendation for place to get a good steak and were recommended to an independent establishment close by. After a long drive it was nice to have a place close, have a nice meal and relax back at the hotel before the next day drive.
I'm a little taken aback by the gushing reviews! My experience didn't mirror what others wrote. My 3* is rounded up—I'd honestly say 2.5. I just returned after a one night stay, and here are my thoughts: Pluses: Room was large TV was large, adjustable and had lots of options Microwave and fridge were helpful Parking was plentiful Breakfast had good hours A/C worked flawlessly front desk cheerfully honored my hour late checkout request Minuses: Bathroom had other guests hair left on floor No body-wash in shower dispenser Bed was lumpy in middle Despite sanitation promises posted throughout, not a single hand sanitizer dispenser had any sanitizer. No employees wore masks, ever Sink stopper didn't fully close Parking lot desperately needs repaving The breakfast was not tasty— I actually spit out an English muffin because it tasted way past its expiration. Other items were overly salty and room temperature The omelette cook “window” has a huge TIPS jar—just kinda off putting. Also, the omelette cook and presumably her son had NO issues arguing about a fellow family member (uncle Joe?) from the kitchen— which meant all of us eating got to enjoy it too. Trash receptacle was supposed to be foot operated, but the mechanism was broken so I had to use my hands. Gross. This place just didn't live up to expectations. If given other options, I'd strongly consider them first.
The room was clean and quiet, too quiet. There was not an option to run the fan all the time on the AC/Heater. The TV channel selection was good. DIRECTV is the TV provider. They have an elevator. The front desk people were friendly.
They need to change their name to “Worst Western Plus!” This location is absolutely disgusting but the reason for this review is to warn all others their are BED BUGS in room 208! Yep, coming out of the shower, back into the room, I spied a little brown critter making its way across my bed! I called front desk and was put into a different room (105). Upon entering, I went to inspect the bed and ALL FOUR pillows on the bed had multiple long black hairs on them! Suffice to say, I was DONE! I immediately booked a room across the street at the Holiday Inn Express. This was the LAST thing I wanted to be doing at 1:30 AM! The worst part is that, after 48 hours, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY COMMUNICATION FROM HOTEL MANAGEMENT! I haven't received an acknowledgment, an apology, or a refund. Also, when I first checked into my room (208) the carpeting was so dirty that I went back downstairs to ask the front desk for a vacuum to borrow. They offered to send someone up to re vacuum my room, but I just did it myself. Then, that evening, after trimming my beard in the bathroom, I used a wash cloth to clean up the whiskers, and after wiping the floor in front of the vanity, the wash cloth was almost black with filth! Despite, the seemingly high ratings, I would advise against staying here! I stay at hotels over 100 nights a year and I have NEVER seen a bed bug before! Trip typeVacation · Solo Service1.0Rooms1.0
I had a awful experience with this hotel. First upon arriving and getting checked in the lady at the desk who was checking me in received a cell phone call mid check in and walked away and answered her phone. pretty unprofessional period if you ask me. Upon waiting 10 min for her to come back she came back and stated it was her boss on the phone looking for someone. If if was her boss and she didn't answer i would assume she would know at 3 pm in the afternoon that she would be checking people in. Second I had 2 reservations 1225300 and 1225332 both whom i was told by travlu people that they were confirmed by Dawn at the hotel Saturday morning. Was told that they only had the one reservation and that they didn't have the the second reservation even though I had confirmation in hand from travlu. The lady said that they had a king bed not a 2 queen bed that i had reserved that they could get me into. Ok fine since the other person traveling with us didnt come . They proceed to check me in two rooms but we were going to have to wait for one room because it wasn't clean yet. We get to the one room its a King and it was fine but i was charged the price for a room with a kitchenette that i originally had booked the room i had did not have a kitchenette in it but still was charge the 20 dollars extra for the kitchenette room. third the reservation 1225300 was supposed to be a 2 queen they gave us another king when i went downstairs to have them change it the first lady was rude and tried to tell me neither of the rooms i booked were doubles and that was all they had when in fact i had the confirmations that both rooms were 2 2queen bed rooms. I was charged 118.10 for this room when the rate was to be 109.65. I keep being told i need to prove it to them when in fact i have both confirmation numbers from Travlu and travlu tells me i have to take it up with them. They dont want to take any responsibility on either end..
First visit. Good location, very nice rooms and staff. Had an issue with a blocked sink drain as soon as we arrived; was taken care of after I called the desk. Walls are thin…hubby awakened at 3am by people arguing in the next room. Breakfast was okay. Had an issue with my BW gift card not showing on my bill. Dawn took care of it for me and really appreciated her help. She also checked us in the night before with a smile. There's a Cracker Barrel you can walk to if you don't care to get in the car again. Would stay here again.
We made this guaranteed reservation well in advance. The morning we were due to check-in we learned that our assigned room didn't have a tub, only a shower stall. When we asked to switch to a different room with a tub, none were available. So we cancelled and stayed elsewhere. Because we were inside the cancellation cut-off time we were charged for the first night even though we didn't stay there. Disappointing.
Entire building super clean. Staff were the most hard working, friendly folks I've met in a long time. They were super accommodating. The manager was very friendly and responsive to all needs. Will stay again !!!
Do not recommend staying at this hotel. We have stayed at this hotel several different times over the last 5years, unfortunately with new management this have really changed! They charged our credit card for our hotel stay and then when checking out collected cash payment for the 2 nights. We made several calls to get corrected, was hung up on by front counter representative, manager in back ground said to tell me that they would get corrected and would not take our calls or return our email messages.
Not sure where these people usually stay that give this place 5 stars but wow! It is one of the worse places we've stayed on this road trip. We pull up in a partially dark parking lot. There are 2 people on the front bench outside that are smoking - ugh! We walk in the lobby and one of the smokers jumps up and she's our front desk lady. Not a good first impression. One elevator for a lot of rooms! Next we had a 2 room suite, no AC unit in the bedroom and the door wouldn't stay open. We propped it open and still the room was hot! Stupid design. Carpet was wet in the bedroom by window, never figured out why. The fluorescent bulbs are not attractive either. Horrible couch. Bed ok. Tiny pillows. The dust in the bathroom was awful. Toilet not clean. Good shower tho. Breakfast the next morning was a mess. So unorganized, food everywhere. We got coffee to go and bolted. We will not be back to this hotel ever again.
We spent one night at this property. Checkin and checkout were efficient by friendly staff. The room was comfortable and adequately appointed and quiet. While we didn't make an issue of it, the bed sheets appeared to be laundered but still had some stains and unclean looking areas. Breakfast was adequate but nothing exceptional and the area for breakfast was in the pool area. Overall, a satisfactory stay for the night.
As expected of best western. Clean. Big room. Comfortable. Not a lot of good restaurants open around. A bit far from Lafayette purdue. Exit doors very loud. Would come back though because of the price
The room was modern and very clean, as was the bathroom. Looked new, felt comfortable. I really liked it, only thing was the air conditioner never quite got cold enough for this menopausal lady to sleep comfortably. But it wasn't too bad. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good...offered eggs/omelettes, bacon, toast/bagel/muffin. Had a waffle maker but it looked like it had been abused. Had to eat at tables in the humid pool area but it wasn't so bad, we weren't there to linger over a meal just fuel up before going kayaking. I recommend the place
This hotel is very clean, has gravel lot for semi and RV parking, small indoor pool (5FT max), during breakfast one can get a customized omelet. All employees were very courteous and knowledgeable. Rooms clean and comfortably appointed.
I stay in many hotels throughout the year and this one was really good. In addition to a nice clean room with all amenities they had the absolute best breakfast ever. Not microwave faux omelettes, they were made right before your eyes with anything you wanted to add. This feature alone has sold me on more Best Western stays.
Upon arrival our room was what I would describe was "mediocre" as far as cleanliness goes. I noticed hair in the bathroom and the bed, however, I understand this could have occurred while someone was cleaning the room so I overlooked it. After settling in I went to get the shower ready for my 1 year old, only to notice something brown stuck to the shower drain. Upon further investigation this was POOP. I calmly and politely called the front desk to notify them and she advised they would move us immediately. We went downstairs with all our luggage and our 1 year old at 9 pm to move to our new room. We got our new room key and carried everything back upstairs only to open the door to the new room to find it had not been cleaned from the previous guest. There were beer boxes and an unmaid bed. Back downstairs we go to be given a new key and another new room. Back up stairs we go lugging our stuff and baby, open that door and AGAIN this room was still dirty from the previous guest. Back down stairs with a tired 1 year old and all our luggage and we were given a new key ans advised we were being upgraded to a suite room. Okay fine we are just ready to settle our baby in and shower in a clean room. We get up there and AGAIN this room in unclean with the sofa bed pulled out and trash in the room. I can't even make this up. We are exhausted by this point and travel down again with all our things and are given another new key, finally this room was actually clean. We settle in and go to bed only to be awoken at 1 am by the phone ringing. I was so frustrated I let it ring and then worried something may be wrong so I crawled out of bed and called down to the front desk and asked if someone had just called us stating we were asleep. A new front desk person apologized advising she was trying to see if someone was in the room because the previous staff member had not checked us out of the previous room and it looked like the room we were in was vacant. All of this and then the next morning I checked our bank account and found they had billed us twice for the room! I honestly feel like I couldn't make up a story this disasterous if I tried. I never leave reviews because I understand people are human and things happen. However, I always read reviews when making a decision on where to stay and positive reviews for this location supported by choice to book this hotel. Our stay was so terrible I felt like I needed to share this so that others could be warne
New hotel, very clean, large rooms, hot breakfast, large gravel lot for truckers.one of the best hotel stays I've had.Plenty of restaurants and food within walking distance.Far enough away from the interstate to be quiet.
Very nice hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean. Service very good. Breakfast was a little underwhelming because of a staff emergency. There are limited places to eat nearby, basically just Cracker Barrel, and maybe Macdonald's. So, it's a great hotel, but with a few minor issues.
This Best Western had all we needed for an overnight stay. Decent breakfast, and the pool was open Our room was spacious with 2 lounger chairs & 2 beds. Shower worked great, too! There is one EV charger.
We just completed a trip of almost two weeks in which we stayed in multiple hotels. This one was by far the best. I do not know if it is new or was recently renovated, but it is in excellent shape. The front desk employee upon our check in was very friendly and helpful; unfortunately I do not remember her name! The room was spacious and clean. There was a "normal" breakfast served--a rarity these days--including someone making omelets to order! The only thing I did not like is the use of liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner in dispensers in the shower.
I put in the wrong name with hotels.com, but they helped me fix it and we had a good stay. Room was clean. Bed was a little soft for my preference, but it didn't inhibit my sleep. It was quiet. They had a hot breakfast, but very little space to eat it when a large number of people came down for breakfast at 8 am. Pool was nice, water was a little cold, but it didn't stop my son from having fun. Liquid soap and shampoo in the shower were out.
I travelled to the area for one night with my disabled sister to visit our uncle in hospice. My disabled sister was not well enough to visit with me the second day, so in order for me to be able to visit with him (perhaps for the last time), the front desk allowed my sister to stay in the room for an extra hour and a half - on a busy Purdue graduation weekend. My sister, uncle and I are very grateful for their accomodation.
Great stay eco awareness was impressive.quick service, hot breakfast. Very clean room. Nice lay out of room and spacious . Good pricing for all of the amenities available. Easy booking, quick and easy checking in and out
From the time I checked in til leaving I felt welcome. The room was spacious and CLEAN!! Love the walk in shower, big soft towels, the bed was comfortable and had all the amenities I expect. Had a real breakfast~~~ NO Covid bag BS!!! Very safe place and got a good nights rest. Restaurant within walking distance. BUT the Creekside Restaurant and Lounge is only a couple miles down the road and has the best menu around!!
My family and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. My experience was positive. The property was close to the racetrack where we spent our days. They had a hot breakfast available for us each morning, and the room was large and very comfortable. I had booked a king room, but my family asked me to change to 2 queens. They took care of the change for me and all of our needs. I am very pleased with their service and would recommend to anyone and stay here again.
The room was dirty. Candy wrappers and other items under furniture as well as a layer of dust on the wooden wall above the beds. Tried to get coffee and breakfast from the lobby twice within time I was told it was available...nope and couldn't find the cook either.
My father went to get coffee and was knocking on wrong room door, front desk asked if anything they should know about him, he has dementia. They still threatened to get security. No compassion!!! Also no hot water!
Very disappointed with our stay at Best Western Plus based on other people's reviews. The hotel floors were dirty, the room was not very clean (spots on the bedskirt and the inside toilet lip was gross) and the pool walls had a line of scum. Also, the trash in the hallway was full and smelled so bad. After 2 days we told the staff about it and they finally emptied it. Surprisingly, the staff did not wear masks like we expected and things did not seem up to COVID-19 cleanliness standards. The good things were the comfortable beds and the omelets/waffles. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. I wish we would have stayed at a hotel across the street that was recently remodeled and cleaner.
Quick summary: like many BW-Plus properties, very comfortable with nice amenities. Good COVID-safe practices. Excellent cooked-to-order breakfast, even during COVID times (although I hate to promise their policies in the future.) We were on a road trip, and this was a convenient place to stay for a night after visiting friends at Purdue. We stayed in #308, which has a very comfortable king mattress and pillows. The duvet is a little warm unless you crank up the AC, but that is a minor matter (and typical of many hotels that have gone to using a duvet for better sanitary reasons.) All the amenities you expect of a well-run BW (we are fans of this chain:) in-room coffee maker, fridge, microwave, iron/board, good work desk, lots of plugs for your media devices, good lighting throughout. Lots of drawers for your stuff, and a good closet. Sofa sitting area. TV works well and easily with lots of channels. Roomy walk-in shower. Nice toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel mounted on the shower wall. Individual little bottle of body lotion. Lots of towels. (Okay, I had to ask for another roll of toilet paper when I did not see an extra that we needed,) The bathroom feels rather upscale with the stone counters and finish work in the shower. Spotless housekeeping - very clean. EXELLENT cooked-to-order omelettes, and lots of extras- biscuit, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc. Even in COVID, the mgt did not skimp. To sum: highly recommended! We'd be happy to stay here again.
If you come to Crawfordsville Indiana I recommend staying at Best Western Plus. This hotel has great staff, clean rooms, great wifi and a very fresh breakfast the fresh to order omelets are a big plus. With the covid going on they do a amazing job on cleaning and sanitizing rooms I feel safe in these crazy times.
On our recent vacation we stayed in 4 different hotels.. 2 of which were Best Western. Both were very nice and clean hotels with nice staff. The hotel in Crawfordsville, Indiana is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in. We definitely recommend them and have become members due to how well we liked them. We will look for these brand hotels in our future trips.
Overall the hotel was nice enough. Room was large as photo shows, but both my daughter and I are bathers and this was shower only. Glad we were only here one night. Beds were a bit firm for my taste and the room would not get cool enough at night, but again my individual preferences. The fan would not stay running on the heat/air unit even though we chose to stay on to cover noise. My other issue was breakfast. Website says hot breakfast. Check in staff said hot breakfast. Next morning was cold cereal in plastic wrap covered bowls and a tip jar. I get covid has changed some things, but didn't seem to be issue for the coffee carafes setting out for all the public to handle 24/7. Thank goodness there is a Cracker Barrel next door. Also noticed that none of the staff wears masks. :(
My fiancé and I are regularly in this area for work, this was our first time staying at the Best Western here and we'll be staying here every time from now on. Loved the Kitchenette, how clean it all was, very comfortable. Two thumbs up
Professional front desk staff, clean and quiet hotel. We didn't use the pool or fitness center but we toured both and they were very clean and inviting. The grounds and parking lot needed a lot of attention but other than that, we were very satisfied with our stay.
They STOLE my $100 deposit claiming we had smoked in the room. Police officers said the room did not smell of smoke and there was no evidence to support the employees claims. However was told they couldn't do anything. The whole time the employees sat behind the desk LAUGHING because they were getting away with it. No employees were nametags and WOULD NOT GIVE US THEIR NAMES OR MANAGEMENT NAMES & PHONE NUMBERS!
Leisure stay. Just decided to get out of house. The room was very clean and whole place was nice. All the staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The full size fridge in kitchenette was a great surprise.
I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights while working in the area. No one ever brought clean towels or linens, emptied trash, or filled the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion dispensers, nor the empty tissue box and toilet paper. Even when I called the front desk on the third night, I was told that she'd be right up. She never came. I will never stay here again. Customer service is the WORST!
After a stressful week of work, I wanted to take a little day off and get away for a change of scenery. I was able to get a room with a bathtub and treat myself to a little spa experience. The room was very clean and had everything an individual could possibly need for an enjoyable stay with plenty of space to accommodate a decently sized group of people. It was nice to be able to watch some television as I haven't the time to do so at home, plenty of channels available to choose from. Both checking in and checking out was a quick and smooth experience and the lobby was nicely decorated for the season. My only wish is that I had been able to experience a dine-in complimentary breakfast, but it is understandable given the current situation. I definitely recommend this hotel and will hopefully be staying here again in the future.
We were on our way for a few days off to visit family before the holidays we stopped in Indiana as it was half way to our final destination. The hotel was in a good location just off of the interstate. The room was very nice and clean. The only item that we were not very satisfied with was the comfort of the bed. It was too firm for us.
Stopped here on a long road trip. Enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room in the bright lit, auxiliary parking lot for the boat we were pulling. Rooms were spacious and clean. Still serving hot breakfast, which was a plus. Made to order and boxed to take with you back to the room or on the go. Staff was friendly too.
So surprised by how nice this hotel was. We were completely floored when we saw our room. The location was good, the outside looked well kept, the lobby was nice & clean-but our room was well above what I had in mind for a "Best Western" The bed was comfortable & the staff were all very nice. LOVE how they have went green with the electricity for the rooms!! Didn't do breakfast as there was too many waiting (with covid-19 restrictions things weren't normal) We will definitely start looking more at this chain in the future.
I review online extensively before any trip to avoid potential problems and picked this hotel out of several in this area. It is a small town and so limited in type of accommodation. Hotel looks decently kept, staff at desk personable. Asked for top floor which was given so people not walking overhead. My son complained of noise in hallway, you could see open spaces around doors in hallway so not sure what they could do about that to improve. Husband thought toilet seat did not look clean, so wiped it with disinfecting wipe. There is a glass shelf above toilet that was not cleaned, toilet paper almost out, had to ask for another roll. Furnishings a bit dark, lots of brown used. Mattress pretty hard, son was not comfortable. Stayed two nights, no extra washcloths supplied second day. Unfortunately had to wash a small batch of clothes, no dollar changer or detergent available. My husband had to go to two places outside hotel to get detergent and change for washer and dryer. Super thin comforter on bed, had to ask for another blanket (one is supplied in two queen bed room). Tried to get breakfast at 8:30am on a Monday morning, no longer available, although they would make you an omelet on weekend in take and go box. Most of hotel customers did not wear face masks in lobby although staff did. Do not bring up these points to be nasty, but to improve your customer service!
BW was a good choice to stop and stay for the night. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Employees all very friendly. Breakfast was a made to order omelet. The one thing I would ask is that you add towel bars to the bathroom so we have a place to hang towels after using. I'm not one to throw them on the floor! Would recommend and would definitely stay again...on trip home if we time it right.
We stayed here for a few days so we could visit Shades State Park. No complaints. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, room was quiet, shower had great water pressure. Plenty of restaurants in the area.
We made last minute plans and were able to get a room and check in within an hour of making reservation. We checked in earlier than usual "check in time". Staff was super nice. We even brought our German Shepherd and we got no issues from staff. Breakfast was made to order even with covid 19 restrictions. Place looked well taken care off and exceptionally clean! Thank you
We just stopped for the night but the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and bed was comfy. The room was big and felt updated. We would stay again for sure. Oh and the best part is that Cracker Barrera's right out front so good food close.
The stay was great the bed was very comfortable. The motel has a 24/7fitness room.i didn't use the fitness room but from what I saw on A brief glance in the room it look well supplied with fitness equipment
Me and my wife arrived around 9pm. I checked in at the front desk with Monique who is an exemplary example of customer service. She had a smile on her face the whole time and was nothing but helpful! We also brought our dog along to this pet friendly hotel and the staff loved her. The lobby was clean and bright and the room was perfect. If I ever find myself needing a place to stay while I'm in this part of the country again, it will definitely be at best western!
Spur of the moment trip. Hotel was really nice. Made a good spot to head out and see things every day. Want to go back when restrictions are lifted and things get back to normal again.Room was very comfortable. The microwave and fridge were very convenient.
I stayed in Crawfordsviille. Breakfast is less but stay in terms of room and Amenities are good. There are Pool and Fitness Centre as well. During Corona Virus times, Hotel Administration also made sufficient efforts.
Ms. Crissy and Jazmine at the front desk were amazingly knowledgeable and kind and superfast check in. Breakfast was great. Housekeeping was great and very attentive to make sure I had everything I needed.Great Place to Stay.
The breakfast at this hotel was amazing. Couldn't have asked for a more friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean. The gym equipment was in good shape. We brought our dog and they placed us on the main floor near the dog walk area. That was very convenient.
- Very friendly and helpful staff, knowledgeable of the area - Easy to get to from interstate - Room was very clean, large, and quiet - Excellent breakfast options, especially like the made-to-order omelet option - Amenities were new and easy to access
Great hotel to stay - room was very clean & well prepared. All the amenities available were super. Great breakfast ! Nice indoor pool to soak in ! Staff was excellent ! Easy check in - easy check out. Definitely would recommend & consider staying at Best Western hotels regardless of area, in the future. Much better than Days Inn, Super 8 etc.
Everyone was very helpful and responsive when we had a minor issue with the room. Breakfast crew hustles. Anthony whips up his omelets with pride and was very accommodating when I requested they be cooked a little longer than normal. Cleaning crew always did a nice job EXCEPT - when we hang our towels, please do not replace them after one use.
I stay at other hotel chains regularly. This was my first stay at Best Western Plus and it was fantastic. Friendly accommodating staff, Hot Breakfast included, WiFi, clean large rooms and very nice lobby. I will definitely stay here again
We had a nice room in the first floor that was close to the pet area outside and easy access to our room. Wonderful, friendly staff and a really nice breakfast set up. Easy on and off the freeway. All around great experience.
A bit of a firm bed, but very friendly staff, VERY nicely-appointed room, great bathroom/shower & good breakfast options. And a convenient Level 2 EV charger, which sealed it for us. Would stay again.
We were very pleased with our room and the quality of customer service we received. The facility was very clean and breakfast was exceptional. The only disappointment was that our room didn't have a bathtub as we were both eager to soak our aching bones after a long drive.
Great service, rooms were well kept, and breakfast was very well done. All the staff we interacted with were very accomodating and eager to help. Would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling through the area. Convenient location just off the interstate.
I came in off the road for a room the front desk agent Monique was so polite and friendly she was eager to help my with accommodation the room was clean and comfortable overall it was a very pleasant stay will definitely stay again great job to the staff
We had to stop last night at this location unexpectedly around 2 am after experiencing some car trouble. I was so impressed! The attendant on duty made check in quick and painless. Since I was juggling a toddler and two bags, she put me as close to the elevator as she could, AND managed to save me $10 at check in. This feels like a very safe location, and is spotless. I saw no flaws at all. The bed was very comfortable, with ample pillows and blankets. Outlets (American and European,) and 2 USB ports on both sides of the bed! Bathroom was immaculate, and even the remote had been disinfected. I never heard another soul—even when housekeeping was right next door cleaning. (We walked by the open room.) The best thing about this location is the eco friendly nature of the hotel. Lights and heat run on a circuit that are only activated by a key card you receive at check in, meaning there isn't any wasted power for empty rooms. Even though the room was chilly when we walked in because of this, it was warm within 20ish minutes. Checking out was easy, and even though we didn't stay to eat, the food smelled amazing! I don't know if we'll have a reason to stay this close to home again, but I would definitely recommend them—they made a mom traveling solo with a little one feel very secure!
very nice place. Will stay there again if possible. Enjoyed the breakfast. Easy on and off the interstate. Could use better instruction on how to utilize the chef made eggs.... Even though the check in clerk was brand new, she did a great job.
We were visiting family for Thanksgiving, and our two labs traveled with us. Best Western is pet friendly. Several weeks before our arrival, I called and requested a room as far away from hotel activity as possible, as strange noises activates the protectiveness in the pups....they bark!! Our room was at the very end of the hallway, on the first floor, a few steps away from an outside door, which opened to the parking lot that was next to the dog walking area. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Unfortunately, as hotels go, the rooms aren't well insulated so there was still some “noise”. I was disappointed in the breakfast but it was totally our fault as we slept a little late. My husband had the freshly made omelet which was great for him, while I selected eggs and potatoes from the “already made” area - could have been warmer - but again, my fault. The room itself was well designed, well stocked, and clean. The staff members were all friendly and accommodating. Everything considered, our stay was as good as could be expected, and above average in the pet department. We will definitely made reservations there again.
My husband & I and our two dogs were traveling to be with family for Thanksgiving and decided to stop for the night. This was a great choice. Monique, at the front desk, was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and a decent size for us & the girls (one is a husky & the other JRT/boxer mix). We will definitely keep this on our hotel list for the next trip.
Was a very nice hotel. Made to order omlettes or eggs any style for breakfast. Plus homemade breads. Staff was super polite. We only had a small problem at check-in but was easily fixed the next morning.
Check-in experience was poor. Wrong room type given (reservation made on bestwestern.com), took forever to change, dealing with trainee + a person who did not speak English well. Shouted out my room number, which made me feel unsafe, and were reluctant to provide more than two room key cards. However, room was well appointed & clean. Lots of power outlets, good lighting & generous size bathroom. Comfy bed, but very oddly small pillows. Poor water pressure in shower. Stay on top floor, as there was noise thru ceiling. Fitness center room temp was insanely hot & unadjustable which made it unusable for working out. Staff could not fix. Breakfast had good offerings, including omelettes, but served in a very tight space. Excellent coffee/tea service at all hours.
On a recent visit to Wabash College we spent two nights at this Best Western Plus. It's located close to other similar hotels in Crawfordsville. I booked there because it was slightly cheaper. Everything was fine. The room was comfortable and the elevator was quick. Breakfast is served until 9 a.m. — and the breakfast is the reason to stay here. Anthony has a sweet personality and he makes excellent omelettes, so he helps you get your day off to a great start.
I was extremely satisfied with this hotel. It was updated and nice! Room was spacious and nice. I would stay here again if I needed to. It was central to my needs and just overall what I expect of a hotel.
clean room, helpful and friendly staff. Location was perfect. Restaurants and gas stations nearby. Easy access from and onto interstate highway. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone wanting a reasonably price motel that is clean, comfortable and a quiet place to stay.
This hotel was clean, friendly, and a great value. It was easy to access in the middle of construction, close to Turkey Run State Park, Old 55 Distillery and Purdue, which was our Fall break this year!!
Friendly front desk personnel, clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, special orders for breakfast prepared by local chef, many other amenities, and located feet from the Cracker Barrel Restaurant where we had dnner. We couldn't have been more pleased.
The room was clean, comfortable, great shower, comfortable and pet friendly. The staff was so nice and they fussed over our dog! She loved it! The breakfast was really good. On the weekend an omlette was made to our specifications. But even on the week days there were scrambled eggs, breakfast meat and potatoes along with all the traditional continental breakfast choices.
First day of a 2100 mile annual road trip to Montana. Longest stretch (10+ hrs) from Maryland starting point. Great room. Easy access from Rt 70. Will definitely stop there again next year. We were sorry to be too tired to take advantage of the pool and spa. Both looked very inviting.
This is the nicest Best Western Hotel we have stayed in ever. The room was very nice and large. The only minor issue was running out of tissues. Breakfast was average but they did cook omelets to order - a plus. I would stay here again.
One of the best hotels I have stayed at in a long time. The breakfast was to die for. A variety of choices, a man making your own personal omelet. The staff was vary caring and thoughtful throughout my stay here.
I was there for work assignment the hotel make my state Exxon they were very extremely warm and friendly people the hotel was excellently clean rooms are excellent the booed at propice was excellent I totally enjoyed my experience there
Extremely kind and helpful staff, rooms are very clean and quite large. Breakfast area can get over crowded very quickly. Omelets made to order are very tasty but do take quite a quite a while to receive.
This was an excellent stay. The king size bed was very comfortable. The room was clean, as well as all areas WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE POOL. There was a 3-inch oily scum, as in a bathtub ring. I was able to scratch it with my room card, so it isn't permanent, just dirty. I had the front desk person look at it, and he acknowledged with his card, that it was scum. We travel frequently, and there is usually a pool service who gets in the pool and uses a biodegradable cleaner and green pad to remove the gunk. This is the case of my fitness club in my home town. Back to the hotel accommodations: the custom breakfast omelette was outstanding. All staff were friendly and courteous. We would definitely stay here again....but check out the pool first.
This hotel was an excellent choice. Loved the room, breakfast was wonderful - on-site chef. All staff very helpful. Overall, satisfied with everything! Cheaper than big name hotels and great quality for your money!!!
The room gave us plenty of space but there were outlets only between the beds. The chairs were very nice, but not placed well for watching TV as they were on the same side of the room. The breakfast was great with omelets made to order and fresh yogurt with toppings. Parking was convenient too.
An excellent Best Western; it has friendly staff, it is well maintained, and the window opens so one doesn't have to try and sleep with a noisy air conditioner when the evenings are cool enough not to need it.
This place is clean and pretty but pool was cold..sauna looked brand new but didnt get hot only 2 heating panels came on. Got woke up at 2 am to partying people in the room next door. I called front desk to complain and got attitude from the young guy who answered. Didnt even bother to go down for the free breakfast.
I've always stayed at the Hampton or Holiday Inn but decided to try the BW Plus this time. I got a roomy suite for less than I would have gotten a room at the HI. The suite had a full kitchen. The shower was equipped with designer shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers. The bathroom also came with a tea-tree oil foaming lotion dispenser and a wall-mounted magnifying mirror, nice for putting on make-up or shaving. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not; they felt overstuffed and hard, or like they were wrapped in plastic and too full of air. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Excellent customer care , Excellent room cleanliness , exceptional staff and very friendly always willing to help.easy highway access overall a great place to stay .highly recommend this facility ! Pool area is also very clean and water was perfect !!
Was not impressed with the whole experience after I found out that queen doubles were available but only kings were given out so they could sell more rooms to wedding quests. The staff for breakfast and rooms were amazing and did a fantastic job. It was just the registration I have a problem with and the beds were not comfortable at all.
This Crawfordsville facility is a 30 minute driving distance from Purdue but offers a much better place to stay as compared to motels/rooms in Lafayette. Rooms are clean and so are the bathrooms. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Crawfordsville is a smaller town but has all needed facilities and a Meijers/Walmart etc.
Room was clean and the facility was nice. Staff was nice as well. Only needed to stay one night but was a clean and safe option. I did wish the room was a little cheaper - $100 or so for one night. Other than that, good place to stay. Also right off the interstate.
I really did not find anything wrong with this hotel. It had everything that I Needed. Internet, hot shower with great water pressure, and that bed, I didnt want to wake up. Breakfast was great too. If in the area I will be stopping by again, I can't say enough about the amenities.
This is the best room I have had in a long time. I found only things to admire, and none to complain about. I recommend this to anyone needing a room in the area. When we got to the room, I just sat for a while admiring it.
Everything about this hotel was better than expected for a Best Western. They had an omelette bar, EV charging, and nice little amenities. I will stay here again and wish that I could stay at this hotel for every trip.
The exterior of the hotel and the lobby area were extremely attractive, clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and inviting, but the noise from other rooms and hallway were bothersome. Conversations in the hallway were easy to hear, door being closed across the hall made you look up to check to see if your door had been opened. Waking up in the early hours to footsteps across the ceiling made it hard to return to sleep. For breakfast the food was hot and appertizing with a good selection. The breakfast area was entirely too small for the size of the hotel. During our breakfast people were having to eat standing up holding their plates. Having fresh omletes was a great touch but only having the one cook made ordering and receving entree extremely slow. Our eggs were very good and ingredients fresh but the 15-20 minutes wait was extreme.
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. We were just here for one night but they had a very nice breakfast and check in & out was quick and easy. We would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.
The room was very clean and comfortable. As a young woman traveling alone, there were some rather unsavory characters hanging around outside the hotel (not the hotel's fault!) when I arrived that made me a little uncomfortable (and I rode up the elevator with a man who reeked of marijuana). When I entered my room, I saw that it was missing an extra security lock, and I knew I would not feel safe spending the night in the room without one. When I made the front desk employee aware, he immediately found another room for me to move into. I appreciated that he did make me feel like this was a petty issue to complain about. There was a chef making omelets to order for breakfast - that was quite a treat! When I was checking out, I saw the employee at the front desk write my credit card number on a piece of paper and then crumple it up and toss it in the trash. I was concerned about this and asked if she could shred it or give it to me so I could shred it. She obliged by giving it to me, but I was a little disappointed that my personal information was handled so carelessly.
Now that all the financials are taken care of, I can finally start telling people about my experience at the Best Western in Crawfordsville, Indiana. While visiting for my great grandfather's funeral, we were told we could cancel a room within 24 hours, so we attempted to do so. We explained the situation to them and they told us they “don't have time to deal with us”. Obviously upset, we called corporate offices and were told by them that they “don't give a f*** about your grandfather or his life”. My mother informed them that he was a WW2 veteran and their response was “I don't give a f*** about the troops either” and ended the phone call by screaming at my mother saying “f*** you, b****”. I am not one to complain on social media, but this situation was handled so entirely wrong at a very painful time in our lives and I cannot sit back and allow it. If you support the US troops and their loved ones, please share this. I want Best Western to feel the same pain they caused us. Sunny [-] is the owner and person whom called my grieving grandmother to insult her and spew profanity.
Hotel is in a convenient location near highway and restaurants. Hotel is pet friendly, although we did not see any pets. The room was clean and an adequate breakfast was available for free. There is also a pool, but we did not use it. Staff allowed us to check in a little early.
Breakfast was very good. Rooms were clean. It was a fine place to stay. The beds were a bit too hard, though, for my taste. This is a big deal to me when booking a hotel, and I always look for reviews that describe the mattresses. If you are looking for a soft, plush mattress like I do, keep looking.
This is a new hotel and is very nice. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was friendly. I highly recommend it. The fresh made omelette was a nice plus! Easy access for travelers. Great place to stay!
This will sound like one of those reviews that are just too glowing to be credible, but this really was a terrifically positive experience. I reserved by phone with Brad, who was knowledgable, efficient, friendly and totally competent. He followed through with finding my BW rewards number and sending me an email confirmation. He also recommended a restaurant and made sure it would still be open when we got there. We arrived and he was ably juggling issues for 2 other guests. Our room was excellent, not the usual box but with angled walls that provided character and plenty of space. Well decorated in soothing colors. Of course clean and comfortable. The door had a doorstop so that it would stay open while we unloaded the luggage cart. Remarkable! Why doesn't any other hotel have that small convenience? The windows opened fully. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great, and the bath products were way above average. Breakfast was good, and really amazing to have a person making custom omelettes. No other chain hotel does that - for Free. The room rate was reasonable, especially for BW members. We were completely delighted and only wish we could find other hotels this well designed and run. Bravo to Brad and whoever owns this Best Western.
The room we stayed in was very nice. The front desk woman was very friendly and helpful. There was a hot breakfast with a man that made omelettes to order. The waffle machine was out of waffle mix though. We would definitely stay here again.
Excellent price for such a nice hotel. I called ahead to notify the hotel of our late arrival and they noted it on our reservation. The eco friendly hotel was a new but nice feature for me. My son's only comment was that the bed was a little short for an over 6' young man.
Place was very clean. Checked in late(11:30pm). hotel staff was great and a speedy check in, Room was ready and clean with no bad odor. Breakfast was good and the omelette maker was very friendly and cooked a great omelette. Will stay again if in the ares
Best hotel staff and very kind and friendly. Our stay was fun and the omelet station was fun. The staff was very accommodating and I would stay again if I'm ever in Crawfordsville again. Very nice place to stay.
Easy check in & out with helpful personal who fully explained everything.. Omelets for b-fast was great change from normal b-fast food. Rooms nice and clean with good amenities. Loved the lotion dispenser instead of trying to get it out of small bottles. Location is right off interstate & there are a few eating places close.
We stayed on a Friday night while attending a high school graduation. The property is easy to find, right behind the Cracker Barrel, and is a modern property. It has all of the amenities you would expect from a Hampton Inn or Fairfield. Sits well back from the highway so is very quiet. Room was clean and spacious. Only downside the hot breakfast was a little limited - they did have an unusual option, a cook that makes fresh omelets. I'm not a fan of eggs - if you are, this place will be five stars for you.
I had booked this hotel online, then as recommended, called the hotel months in advance to confirm adjoining rooms for my daughter's family. Our daughter in law did the same. When I called about 2 weeks prior to our stay to confirm our choices of rooms, the manager herself told me that this hotel had NO adjoining rooms. She said if I booked my room online, they had no idea what rooms were in her hotel! After a tense conversation, she finally said that she had one adjoining room, and gave it to my daughter. Then my daughter in law called to confirm her adjoining room, because of my experience, and she went through the exact same lies from this manager. After saying she would notify corporate, the manager miraculously found adjoining rooms for her, too. One night during our stay, our rooms were not cleaned at all, including beds being unmade. When I went to the desk to ask that our rooms be cleaned (our daughter's, also), I was told that one of the housekeepers got fired that morning and they were short staffed. Their "priority" was to clean the rooms where people checked out, and ours were left dirty because we were staying. Unbelievable. At check out, we were charged for a crib that was never delivered, even though I requested it again when we checked in with this same manager. After requesting a refund at the hotel, and then by phone call after we left, they charged us again. I finally had to dispute the double charge with my credit card before this money was refunded. I have emailed corporate directly, and all I get are prepared responses over and over, even though I have requested someone at the corporate level call me, as I believe that they need to know about this rude and incompetent manager. Though this is a nice, new hotel, and the rest of the staff were all very helpful and nice, I would not recommend this hotel simply because of this very rude, incompetent manager.
We have stayed here several times as we travel to MN to see out son. Always very clean and staff is super friendly. Breakfast is top notch! We have never had a bad experience here. Highly recommended!!! Just a short walk to Cracker Barrel!!
Best Western Crawfordsville Indiana was a very nice, new, close to Interstate hotel. We enjoyed their free breakfast. They have a courteous and friendly staff. It is a nice addition to lodgings in the Crawfordsville Indiana area.
After a rough night of sleep due to an extremely uncomfortable bed, we had issues checking out. When we were leaving in the morning, a delivery truck was blocking our vehicle which prevented us from leaving. We asked the driver to please pull forward so we could leave. Instead, he continued to unload the truck and moved the packages into the hotel. This went on for several minutes. When we reported it to the hotel, we were told we needed to be respectful to the driver.
We arrived at 5pm and the room had been overbooked and prepaid however when Tiffany realized I was partially disabled she organised a room on the 1st floor. Extremely helpful staff. Cleaning rooms. Wonderful breakfast assortment and great pool/fitness area. Dog friendly as well.
One night here on a way to graduation ceremony. The hotel was clean and beds comfortable. We were able to walk across the parking lot to a Cracker Barrel so we didn't have to move our car and then find another spot! The breakfast here is very good and there is a gentleman who will make you a fresh omelette if desired. Seating is a bit tight if you don't get there early. Swimming pool for families was very active as well. The only thing that is a bit unsettling, is the toilets in the rooms are extremely loud and forceful and will wake up anyone in your room!!! The shower was a nice walk-in without a tub which we prefer.
This was one of the better hotels that I've stayed at. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel does have a pool and a small sauna, but no hot tub The made to order omelette at breakfast was great.
This hotel is hands down the best hotel I've stayed in for many years. Attention to detail in all categories: The value, the cleanliness, the helpfulness of the staff, the cook to order breakfast. It was all wonderful. There's nothing I could suggest to improve the stay.
We were charged for my husband's service dog, who has saved his life more than once. I can afford to pay, I just think it is Wrong. I don't blame the person at the front desk. When asked about the charge , she informed me that this was management's decision.
The hotel itself was nice. Kitchen staff and overnight staff were awesome! The made-to-order omelets are to die for! However, if you have a pet, they charge $20 per night. They policy states "Pet fees MAY apply". No amount stated nor frequency of charge. They charged me $280 for 14 nights. Not very happy about it.
Room 207 is clean & simply decorated. Microwave, fridge & coffee maker are clean in new looking condition. Actually, everything in the room looks newish. King bed was comfortable. Glass door shower & the toilet sits up tall so you don't "fall" down to handle your business. Iron & ironing board in closet. You'll be issued an additional key card for the slot below the light switch to maintain power on the over head light @ the door. Wi-fi for surfing the net is fine, but it was sketchy when using my firestick to stream movies. Comfortable atmosphere overall. Cracker Barrel, McPuke (McDonalds), Subway within walking distance along with a few convenience stores.
This was our first visit at this hotel. We were pleased to find the room was clean. Even the TV remote is cleaned between visits. We were also amazed at how large the room was. A comfortable temp was easy to maintain in our room. We will stay here next time we are in town. The staff was very friendly and quick to accommodate us when we had any questions or needs.
Front desk staff was very welcoming. Room was clean and inviting. Bed was quite comfortable. Breakfasts was very good, and attendant was friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again if in the area and needing a room.
The hotel was nice, it looked like it was either a new property or had been recently face-lifted but the real pleasure was how friendly ever staff member was. From check-in thru check-out it was just courteous interaction after courteous interaction. The breakfast was excellent also with a chef on staff to cook omelets to order.
Not much to say except, this is the place I always stay when I'm in the area on business. Great staff, spacious rooms, clean rooms, great location, and a good sized gym. The food at breakfast is great and they have a custom omelette station. The management team are excellent and always helpful. This Hotel should get 2019 Certificate of Excellence !!
The staff and accommodations at the Best Western were very pleasant. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was so good, and it was an easy location. We traveled with our dog and he was welcomed for a small fee, he enjoyed his time too!
We needed a place for a quick overnight stay while on an I-70 road trip, did some smartphone research and booked this hotel. We then looked at an EV-charging app to see if there were any EV charging stations in Crawfordsville and saw that we had hit the jackpot - the one non-Tesla charger that showed up was at our hotel. Brad, the desk clerk who checked us in, said that it is rarely used. He was not sure how to activate it, but checked by phone with the manager and within minutes our Volt was charging (at no extra charge) and Brad was going out of his way, although his shift had just ended, to make sure that we could get fresh coffee. This was just a brief stay, but all of the staff were welcoming, the room was good, and the bed was very comfortable. Most notably, the breakfast was way beyond expectations, including a made-to-order omelette station with a large variety of fresh ingredients and a friendly guy doing the cooking. In addition to the usual items, there were a number of thoughtful healthy choices at breakfast, including almond milk and soy milk and fresh yogurt. We don't normally take the time to review our stays at roadside chains, but had to post to say that this Best Western definitely earns its "Plus" designation.
The kids had a great time!! The pool was very warm :) this hotel has a little something for everyone! Their breakfast is amazing they have an omelette bar with a chef so cool! Our family will definitely be back :)
They went out of their way to help us. They even allowed us to use the lobby to select the pictures for my Mom's memorial service. The breakfast was outstanding. They cook breakfast anyway you would like. I would stay there again.
Very courteous and customer oriented at check in, lovely room and enjoyed the key faub to the electricity in my room. Bedding was soft to the touch and fluffy pillows and down comforter. Great water pressure for bathing and really appreciated the electrical outlet next to the bed on top by the TV stand, excellent placement selection! Thank you for a wonderful experience
The hotel was very nice, had friendly and helpful workers, and a great breakfast. The made-to-order eggs were very good. The hotel rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The workout room had a variety of equipment.
Nice and clean with a great breakfast. It was Close to the interstate . TV remote was not working and room was ice cold a Upon arrival. Other than that it was all good. I'd stay there again without hesitation.
This was the cleanest hotel we have stayed at off the interstate. Very comfortable beds and awesome showers. The breakfast is unlike any that we have had on the road. I highly recommend this Best Western!!
This Is the ONLY hotel I have EVER given 5 stars!!! I stayed while on business in the area, the staff was friendly, the room was awesome. I stayed in a king room with a kitchenette. It was stocked with utensils, plates, pots, etc. It was clean and modern. The pool was crystal clear and just the right temperature. The workout area had a wide selection of machines, so much in fact that I did not use my nationwide gym membership, instead worked out in the hotel. The breakfast was excellent also, a selection sure to please any age. Fresh fruit, delicious coffee, omelette bar, yogurt, etc.Thank you for the wonderful stay!!!
Very impressed with the quality and size of the rooms. Great omelette bar. Great experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Crawfordsville area. Close to interstate. Easy on and off.
Grew up in C'ville and came back to visit. This place was a solid motel that was clean, quiet, had friendly service, and had easy access to town. It's not the Ritz-Carlton, but hey, it's Crawfordsville Indiana for crying out loud!
Fabulous staff willing to go the extra mile. Full weekend due to a football weekend and they all still went above and beyond for our group. Breakfast was outstanding and rooms were great. Thanks for making our weekend even better
Everything was fine with our stay, accept I'd recommend bringing your own BAR SOAP for shower and your own Shampoo and Conditioner. The showers have "pump dispensers" for Shampoo and Conditioner and it takes at LEAST 50 pumps of each to get a quarter size amount of product.
Stayed for two nights and was pleasantly impressed. Check in and check out very easy. Polite clerks both times. Room was REALLY clean. Bathroom was spotless. Beds were very comfy. Breakfast was great. Made to order omelettes. Make your own parfaits. Make your own waffles. Eating area a little tight but the quality of food was way better than the Hampton inn and other hotels we have stayed at.
Nicest hotel I have stayed in in a long time. Very nice, helpful staff. Really comfortable bed. Best free breakfast I have ever had, including individual omelettes made. We just happened to stop but this was a treasure. Would go out of my way to stay again.
On our way to FL, we stopped for the night. Pleasantly surprised it was a new, green hotel. Very well appointed with a friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was amazing. The eggs and bacon were all cooked right there at the omelet bar.
Booked two nights here for the GNCC Ironman ATV event. The staff was kind and courteous from the moment we walked in. The room was VERY clean and comfortable. The location I absolutely PERFECT for the event. Not too close and not too far away. We'll be back next year for sure!!!
Staff and manager were awesome. The room was nice. I can't say enough about the wonderful breakfast. Good section and very Tasty. Accommodating owner and staff. We were very happy. It was crowded and hotels not easy to come by due to the Purdue game. We were fortunate.
This hotel was fantastic. Clean rooms. Breakfast was absolutely great. This hotel breakfast offered omelets made to order. I can't say enough for the employees at this hotel; especially: Diana, Heather, Cris & Geof. They were so helpful, friendly and just pleasant all the way around. I would recommend this hotel to all.
Room was clean, updates are nice, there was enough pillows for those who like lots of pillows, coffee was okay. Breakfast was spectacular, they offered all the usual continental breakfast plus a yogurt bar and an omelet chef. Staff had great food recommendations for us and were very nice. Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
Room was clean, staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and free breakfast was exceptional. Omelet bar for breakfast was a nice touch. I highly recommend staying here if in the area and will definitely return!
This was our first experience with a Best Western Plus Hotel. What a refreshing pleasure! Nice clean rooms, helpful employees, and best breakfast options ever! The price was extremely reasonable, and my only regret is that we did not get to stay longer!!
Freindly staff and best breakfast around. Made to order omelets, cappuccino machine, fresh yogurt. I just can't say enough about the quality of the breakfast offered. ALL the staff was so friendly. Rooms were very modern and clean. We will definately stay at this location again when traveling through Indiana!!
We were greeted warmly upon our late evening arrival. The Green Hotel experiences were explained. We were impressed with the cleanliness and stylish decor. Loved the comfy bed. Breakfast was filling and delicious. If ever in Crawfordsville again, this will be my choice.
Stop was on the way to the East Coast, and we arrived late in the evening. Staff was very accomadative and the room totally exceeded our expectation for size, cleanliness, and quality of furnishings. We could not be more pleased with our stay.
We stayed here one night prior to boarding the train at the Amtrak Station. The hotel was kind enough to let us leave our car parked here for the time we were away. This facility was beautiful. The rooms are pristine. The staff, especially Heather were so kind, welcoming and helpful. It is close to fast food and gas stations. It is also a good value.
Clean quiet rooms, great service, nice breakfast area with waffles, pastries etc. Convenient off interstate. Close to nearby restaurants. Bigger hotel than I expected with 4 stories. Ample parking. Would stay here again.
I usually do not write reviews, but had to this time. Here for a wedding and checked into the hotel. The woman at the desk went above and beyond making sure to give us all the details of the hotel. Very friendly. Said if we needed anything, please call her. Stepped into the room and there was a phone call from the front desk just making sure the room was okay. GREAT SERVICE! The room setup was awesome. The bed comfortable. The remote for the TV washed and placed into a germ free pocket. A note on the bed welcomed us. This place was a total surprise. Who knew. Plus the staff went above and beyond for customer service. Just wish more places would take note. LOVED!!!!
This is a nice hotel right off of the interstate. It's close to restaurants. The staff was very friendly and suggested several places to eat. The room was clean. We had a king studio. It was nice to have a couch and chair. They had a made to order omelet bar which my husband loved.
Like my title indicates, the very good rating I gave this hotel might be a little generous. It is on the right track for being very good, but there are some improvements that need to be made. I feel these are the good things about our stay in this hotel: Easy check-in, easy to find, really nice contemporary decor, one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had, nice size room, nice size bathroom, granite countertops, and there was a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a coffee maker in our room. Here are the negatives: the hallways were stifling hot and stuffy, there was a lot of noise from the room above us, the tile in the bathroom was super slippery (someone is definitely going to take a spill in the bathroom, if they haven't already), the bed cover had dirt on it (the bedding is white), and the pillows had short hairs on them (maybe a dog?), the pillows were the worst I have ever had at a hotel, and the curtains are designed to cover the air conditioner, so unless you leave the curtains open, the air blows straight into the black out curtains. Since there was a streetlight right outside our window, this was problematic. It was either sleep in a hot room, or try to sleep with a bright light shining in. We did both of those things, each for half of the night. The best thing I can say about this hotel (aside from the awesome breakfast), is that every one of the employees were engaging and kind. They all wanted us to be happy and enjoy our stay, and that was really awesome. I would stay here again, but would probably ask for a different room if we had a dirty bedspread with hair on the pillows again.
Hotel stay was exceptional. Everyone went out of their was and was very helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The omlets the chef made were amazing. Hotel was very clean and would reccomend for anyone to stay here.
I had booked four rooms for relatives. We all agreed that it was the best hotel we had stayed in. The rooms were large, up to date with electronics, and were very clean. The hotel had large walk in showers. The staff went out of their way to help in any way possible. We were pleasantly surprised at breakfast to have a chef that made delicious omelets. Great hotel.
Fabulous guest service. Mornings breakfast has a made to order omelette service. Rooms were clean and nicely updated. Would most certainly stay there again. The rest of the hotel looked nicely updated
Great stay. Very clean and friendly staff. Nice sizes rooms with comfortable beds. Pool area was clean and had towels available. Breakfast was awesome. Made to order omelets with fresh ingrediants. Would highly recommend. Ver
Was only here for one night but had an amazing time. Beautiful biew, nice area. Far enough off the highway that you can't hear cars at night. The breakfast in the morning was also delicious. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home.
A group of 15 of us spent the night here while touring by motorcycle. We booked four months in advance and were able to negotiate a group rate. The manager went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable at poolside while we recapped our day of riding. In addition, he gave us access to a hose and rags so that we could wash our bikes and one dusty Mustang convertible. I would definitely stay here again.
This is a super clean, friendly, updated hotel. Rates at this hotel are affordable, the staff is always more than accommodating, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and quiet. I reviewed this hotel a while back and the only thing I could pick on them about was the breakfast, and now they've even fixed that by putting in a live omelette bar along with a host of other choices. Excellent place to stay, my go to when I'm in the area.
I didn't plan this stop but I'm glad I did! Staff and management at check in were very nice, polite and accomidating. My room was beautiful! Clean, spacious and I loved that they had dispensers in the shower instead of the little bottles. Very eco friendly! And then there was breakfast. Oh my gosh! What an amazing selection to include a chef to make you eggs however you wanted them done to include omlets! I will probably make this hotel a staple stop on my travels home from now on! Prices were very fair! Highly recommend!
We have stayed at Best Western Hotels many times over the 24 years we have been married. We most always have had a good experience. Last year we had our first bad experience so we were reluctant to go back to one of their hotels but we decided to try it again at 3 different Best Western Hotels while we were on vacation. All 3 of the Best Western Hotels we stayed at were great but this location was Outstanding, Excellent, Superb. We stayed in room 212 and we were extremely happy. The Front Desk Woman made our first impression a complete pleasure. I plan to update the review with her name if it can be updated. Room clean, very comfortable; Breakfast wonderful, when I say chef made omelets to order with 4 meat selections, cheese onions, and just too many ingredients to remember, but I will not forget this experience. Pool was good too. We travel from PA to IL yearly with our family and we will make it a point to stop here every year!
Nice hotel, with friendly staff and a fair room rate. A couple of odd things: the tv hdmi cable was disconnected, had to figure that out. The thermostatstat on the AC was badly mis-calibrated; had to set it on 66 to get the room to cool off. Then at night, it seemed to cycle on and off every 5-10 minutes.
Beautiful decor, rooms very clean and spacious, breakfast was good, many items to choose from, liked the idea someone was there to make you a omelet with what you wanted, great staff at check in, would definitely go back!
The breakfast was very tasty and also offered an Omelet Bar which was a very nice addition to the typical breakfast at most hotels.! The room was very nice with a beautiful shower in the bathroom - bummer those of us that prefer a bath.
We arrive to this hotel and were placed in a room on first floor. Upon entering the room, I noticed the beds looked like they had been slept on. As we approach the beds be noticed What appeared to be Cheeto chip powder. In the drawer next to the bed was a half consumed Subway sandwich. We complained to the front desk. They refunded us $20 off of the room and moved us to another room at the opposite end of the building. Around 1030 at night, half of our group were sleeping including two small toddlers. A loud crashing noise came from our bathroom. My husband about had a heart attack. After the loud crashing noise we could hear a constant rain down of class. We were all completely shocked. My husband went to the front desk once again to complain. We had swimsuits on the floor that were covered with shards of glass. There was glass everywhere in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful but requested that we move to another room. The lady working there mentioned that the glass for that particular Shour was hitting hard earlier. So apparently it was a known problem. The only rooms they had available was one across from us which was a single bed with a pullout couch or we would have to move our group up to the second floor. We were tired and still had two children sleeping so we chose the room across the hall for the easiest move. When we arrive to that room the pull out couch already had sheets on it. The topsheet had to Brown/blood stained areas on them that we're probably the size of a fist. Super disgusting. I requested new sheets for that entire bad Brown/blood stained areas on them that we're probably the size of a fist. Super disgusting. I requested new sheets for that entire bed. It was very inconvenient and uncomfortable. With a rollaway bed and a pull out couch and a king size bed you couldn't walk on the ground. I had to climb over my husband in the night to use the restroom. The next morning I complain to the staff. Not only was the night incredibly uncomfortable I had clothing that had shards of glass in bedded in it from being on the bathroom floor at the time of that collapse. I left my name with the manager and my phone number. She never called me back. I had to argue about paying full price for the room. After calling corporate and the hotel multiple times she finally gave me 50% off total. Still a little ridiculous for the amount of hassle and chaos we suffered during our experience. People go to a hotel to relax and unwind after a long day of travel. They don't go there to be moved to three separate rooms and deal with collapse and glass, stained sheets, and half eaten food in a room. This entire experience was completely uncalled for and I'm beginning to question the quality of best Western hotels. I left a review a while back for a best Western that we found a man used underwear and pants in the corner of our room where my children are playing. Best western needs to step up with their cleaning crew. We are paying customers and we should get what we pay for. A clean safe room. And this manager needs to work on customer service because clearly ma'am you are lacking. It is common courtesy to call a guest who is experienced such a night and apologize versus a emotionless email after a fight for a discount.
The room was nice and new, I mean really nice. Bed and pillows were comfortable and fell asleep easy. Believe me I don't sleep well anywhere but my own bed, and fell right asleep. Highly recommended! Very clean and quiet.
Clean hotel, may have been renovated within the past few years, good location, good for families with children. Ask for a room on the top floor is you sleep lightly. This is a wood structure and you will hear noise. If you have no issues with that, any room is good. Pool is good size, the sauna did not work during our stay. Also, the kitchen was in renovation. I would stay here again. We had an issue with WI-FI limiting the number of devices connected per room at the same time but management found a solution for us.
Needed a pet friendly hotel and located this online. It was perfect for our needs. Clean, pet friendly, great breakfast buffet. I loved the walk in shower. Great place for us and out dog to stay. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for being pet friendly, yet clean!
Another had mentioned that they rarely give 5 stars. I, too, rarely give 5 but I feel this property deserves it. Smaller than most hotels, clean (my priority) and comfortable as can be, and easy friendly staff and check-in-out. Would definitely stay here again.
I rarely give five star reviews, but this Best Western hotel was excellent! It was clean, comfortable, and had a walk-in shower. The complimentary breakfast included custom- made omelets! After a long drive, this was a perfect resting place.
We stayed at this hotel on May 25 for 2 nights for a wedding. There were about 30 rooms booked for out of town guests. This is a fairly new hotel and we had never stayed at a "plus" best western.Definitely an upgrade from normal hotel. Very clean and quiet. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the end of the hall on the 3rd floor. Nice and quiet.Only problem was the bathroom which was quite small. You had to close the door when using the sink. nice big shower.Breakfast was not the usual continental breakfast. They had an "omelet chef". He would make just about any kind you wanted. Also scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, etc. Breakfast area was a little tight but our group was rather large. We spilled over into the lobby which was fine. Front desk staff was helpful finding us a place for dinner. Cant remember the name of the restaurant but it was close and on a pretty river and had a nice deck. I will be on the lookout for more "plus" best westerns. Hope they are all this nice.
Good location and nice rooms but breakfast was a mess. RAn out of foods, tv was on way too loud and breakfast area cramped for how many people were there. Selection of food was marginal as well. Room was clean and comfortable
Stopped here on our way to Tennessee. Easy to get to and comfortable room. Recently updated, very nice. Great breakfast with large selection. The check in and check out was fast. Friendly staff. We will definitely stay here again.
An easy check-in to a nice and clean room. Conveniently located to the interstate and restaurants. A nice pet walking area. The beds were comfortable and the roll-in shower was perfect for our needs. Breakfast was standard fare. The only negative was the amount of hallway light that came in around the door. Would defiant stay here if in the area.
The hotel and staff was very nice. Would defiantly stay here again. They have great deals on the room and the whole hotel is eco friendly. The room smelled delightful, very clean. The pool, work out room, and sauna were kept up very nicely. When it came time for breakfat they had a lot of choices, so anybody could find something they would eat.
I actually should have reviewed the BW below average due to the breakfast which lacked juice and coffee. In fact guest were going to gas station for their morning coffee. On the plus side we were checked in by Scarlet who was outstanding and very helpful, our room was spectacular and the property was located close to restaurants. The hotel offered an omelet bar which conceptually was a great idea but could not seal the deal.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and have absolutely no complaints. The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean and updated. The bathroom was really nice and I liked the shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the shower. The pillows on the bed were great too, not the flat/thin ones you typically see at hotels. Breakfast was also very good with a complimentary omlette bar. Would definitely recommend!
We've stayed three times now and have been very happy each time. Hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and professional, and the owner went to extra effort to give me traffic advice and make my pre-school-aged girls feel welcome. Breakfast is out of this world and breakfast staff so helpful and nice. We make a point to stop and stay here on our roadtrips across the country! Highly recommend.
I had a great first experience at this hotel and made sure to return for a second stay. While my second stay was just as good, I experienced an error with check-in that resulted in me bring charged for a second room. While I have been promised that this would be fixed, it has been a week and I have not received any calls from the hotel manager. I have called three times to date. I do not like that they charged my credit card when they knew of the issue. They should have suspended any charges until this matter was resolved.
Very nice place. Property is less than 2 years old. Staff are friendly & very accommodating. Room was terrific; well-appointed & spacious. Nice-sized bathroom with all amenities. The breakfast in the morning was nicely done & good food. Bud makes great omlettes. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there in the future.
My husband sprained his ankle and I requested a accessible room - mainly for the shower. The desk clerk cheerfully made the arrangements Nd kept us on the first floor. The rooms here are very clean, comfortable and quiet. I felt like we were in a spa resort with the attention to detail provided. It was extra nice to have a chef prepare eggs to-order at the continental breakfast. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
Staff here were outstanding. The omelette breakfast amazing. Great hotel to stop for a night. Only one problem and that was the ice bucket still had water and dirt in it from previous occupants. Manager was very quick to fix it. The pool here is really awesome. There is a dividing wall between the patio tables and chairs and the pool. An excellent way to keep from getting splashed in when the kiddos jump in. There is also a big TV in the patio area that you can watch whatever you want.
This week long trip was stressful enough as my sister and I were there to set up an estate sale for our parents. Upon arriving we were met with smiling faces and the manager was extremely helpful in our accommodations. Each and every day they were asking about our day and if there was anything they could do to help. They only problem I had was who was going to make my delicious breakfast when I got home!! Well worth the stop if you are travelling in that area.
We have stayed at several Best Westerns Plus, and this one is one of the BEST! The facility is new, beautiful room and EXCELLENT BREAKFAST with an OMELETTE BAR! We have never had an OMELETTE BAR, maned by a staff member. Staff was GREAT, will stay here again, would
I can't say enough good things about this hotel! The entire hotel was clean, the rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was to die for. They had a fantastic omelette bar and the chef was willing to make anything you were craving. We were in town for a wedding and most of the guests stayed here - it was fantastic that they saved room for all of us so that we could be in one place. The manager, Suba, bent over backward to help us make the experience for the newly married couple special. Everyone on staff was so friendly and helpful. Great visit - we would come back to Crawfordsville just to stay here again!
What a relaxing and great place to stay after a very long day on the road. The hotel manager is a wonderful person, wanted to make sure all our needs were met. A yummy and healthy breakfast was ready for us along with a chef that prepared a fresh omelette fixed the way we wanted it. He also prepared bacon and hash browns for us. Thanks for our best experience after 6 nights on the road. We will stay here again.
Room was nice, hotel had a nice foyer and breakfast nook with lots of choice. very helpful staff. this would rate a 5 if i had of found the bed and pillows comfy...too hard for me. Also had trouble keeping all the light out from the parking lot at night. To be fair i think my husband slept fine. Exercise room looked good as well as pool area, but i did not use them.
Very clean and well maintained. I would have given it 5 stars but they charged extra for my dog. We had a very comfortable stay. We had a problem with the cooling system and it was addressed right away. The room was perfect.
This is becoming one of our favorite hotels on our business trips. Well laid out rooms. Comfortable beds. We love the fact we can get made to order breakfast as part of the complimentary breakfast. Pet friendly too!
This is becoming our favorite hotel stop as we travel for our business every two months. We've even changed our route to be able stay here as it has easy access of the interstate and plenty of room for our trailer. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the comfort of the best is great! Breakfast is really good and now they have chef that will make you any type of eggs that you want, even french toast and plenty of bacon/sausage as well! Pet friendly and super nice staff!
We just left there and I had to review right away because I was so impressed with the hotel! We were driving to Kentucky from Minnesota and got tired so we called a few places and they had one room left so we took it! Lucky us! We arrived around 2:10 a.m. and were warmly greeted by name by Melissa who couldn't have been more accommodating! Our Suite was clean and big! And the next morning the hotel offers a free hearty breakfast with made-to-order omelets and lots of other options! And one more thing about Melissa...she had told us the breakfast went until 10:00 but when she realized it only went to 9:00 she kindly called us to let us know so we wouldn't miss it! Melissa was a bright, pleasant face of the hotel. If you ever stay in Crawfordsville, I would recommend staying here!
Best stay for the price including great service from all employees. Very clean room with a beautiful walk-in shower and king bed. Their breakfast was out-of-this world (omelets to order by a chef). Thanks Best Western!!
Desk staff very friendly and accommodating upon our arrival. Room clean, quiet and very comfortable. Our German shepherd was welcome and she appreciated being able to sleep near us. Great hot breakfast, eggs made to order, with wide variety of food options. We highly recommend this motel. Best value on Route I 74 !
Welcoming staff, helpful in satisfying our needs due to a surprise snow storm. Very nice hotel and staff was top notch. Cancelled room at hotel next door that was unable to help us. Manager was more than willing to help us. Overall very positive experience.
Loved the cooked to order breakfast! The manager, Sunny, was very kind and made us feel welcomed. She offered us a 'to go' breakfast if we checked out too early, but I'm glad she convinced us to stay until the kitchen opened. The place is pet friendly and has amenities we didn't even see after a long day of travel. Clean room, comfortable bed...what more could you ask for?
Arrived at 3:05 (check-in is 3:00). Approached the front desk waiting for a greeting that never happened. Went to our assigned room to find it was not cleaned yet. Garbage still in room. Went back to front desk to let them know room was not ready. Rather than offering a different room that was ready, they offered to store our luggage until room was ready. Hotel staff did not make us feel welcome. Standards below what I would expect from Best Western. Would not recommend hotel.
From check in to check out this was a great stay. We loved the omelet bar, what a great breakfast. Our room was clean and spacious. Staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the pool and sauna. Thanks for a great visit.
Stopped here after driving 12 long hours. The staff was very friendly, check in was super easy. The room was clean, the bathrooms nice and the television was great, (we actually got to watch a supercross race we thought we were going to miss) Got up the next morning to get some breakfast and that was also great. Its not your typical bagels, muffins, and cereal breakfast. There is a nice man named Brandon that will be happy to make you an omelet or some french toast to go with your bacon and eggs. Pleasantly surprised with the whole experience since I booked the room just minutes before we walked in.
My husband and I were just wanting an overnight get-away not too far from home and heard about the Vanity Theatre in Crawfordsville so we bought tickets to a show and booked the Best Western. I was pleasantly surprised at the hotels cleanliness and super friendly staff. Even though we didn't get the opportunity to use it, the workout room also looked very nice. We got a great nights rest also. Beds were very comfortable.
We stopped here for one night and found excellent accommodations. Nice firm bed, great shower with use of earth friendly containers. Omelet bar and expansive assortment of foods. Staff was very friendly. Nice gym space with treadmill, cycle, weights and elliptical.
Room was clean, new, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome! They have a omelet bar and they make their pastries fresh daily by hand. The pumpkin roll is fabulous! Super nice people that went out of their way to handle the busy mornings of a fully booked hotel. We went through lots of coffee and they were awesome at keeping up with making it! We've stayed there twice in 2 years for the GLVC Swim Championships and we would stay there again if we were coming back. Great place and really nice, friendly people
Here for the GLVC swim meet. Very clean, courteous staff, newer hotel. I'm not a breakfast person but choices were good. Have a cook to order omelette station. Highly recommend. Before arrival hotel staff called me asking estimated time of arrival since they were booked and wanted to be sure a room would be ready or at least letting me know check-in was 3pm . I arrived at 1pm and they had a room already cleaned and available. Will rebook as soon as 2019 reservations come available. Don't miss out on this great hotel.
We were thrilled with the property and our room. Front desk gal gave great recommendation for dinner. To our surprise when we went to the coimplimentary breakfast, we were offered “made to order” omelettes, French toast, and eggs. In addition to the standard cereals, toasts, yogurts, fruits, eggs, and sausage, the “chef” made fresh toffee banana bread and offered us a piece - still warm out of the oven. Can't say enough nice about this Best Western!
We stopped here briefly on our road trip. We arrived at midnight and was greeted by Karli. Friendly, efficient and even moved our room away from elevator without me asking. Room was clean and spacious - actually more than spacious. Nice finishings too. The next mornings breakfast was great. Omelets made to order. And super friendly chef and kitchen staff. I'd give this hotel 5 stars on every aspect.
Rooms were very clean. Bed was hard as a rock. The walls are very then and you can here everything in the hotel. Price was good but won't be back. Only good thing about it is Cracker Barrel is right in front of the hotel. Don't waste your time or money!!
Outstanding accommodations and staff at this hotel. Check-in was handled efficiently and the staff was personable and friendly. The room was very nice and very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Furnishings were up to date and appealing. Breakfast the next morning was a great beginning to the day. Highly recommend this hotel!
What a great place! Rooms were very nice and clean. It was -4 outside and have no problem staying warm in the room. The breakfast was unbelievable has its own omelette station where a cook will fix you any kind of omelette or eggs you would like. Definitely one of the best places to stay in the area and a good value for your money
Everything we needed was there and was comfortable and pleasant. We will come and stay again in the near future, We do not travel much but since staying there wherever we go we will look for Best Western first. We will also recommend it to others.
I was a lone female stuck in a snow storm on Christmas Eve - I was too afraid to drive any further and did not know the town or if it was safe. I could not have been more comfortable and felt VERY SAFE at this Hotel. The night clerk was awesome and kind and was just wonderful. I was a mess after trying to drive in the terrible storm. She made me feel very comfortable and it really helped me to calm down. Thank you!!!
After driving for 10+ hours we stopped for the evening. We were tired, cold and hungry when we were met at the main entrance by a very friendly Salish (General Manager) and he made us feel so welcome. The carpets all appear to be new, the room furnishings were very nice. The room was spotless, even a hand written note from housekeeping. This was the nicest BestWestern Plus we have ever stayed at. Sun morning we were getting ready to leave and they asked if we wanted breakfast or they could put a Grab and go bag together for us this was 6:15 but breakfast started at 7:00 on Sundays. No problem they brought a small portion of bacon for us and the omelet chef stopped and made us 2 omelets. All plumbing fixtures in our room were new and the electrical had all been redone.
We arrive at the Hotel on a late Saturday night( 5 rooms). There was a Nissan Juke setting in the right side of the entrance ramp. Which meant that if two cars were arriving one of them had to unload the suitcases over the snow and ice on the drive way. The hotel room itself was good. The beds were nice and it was clean. The swimming pool was warm but not as warm as bath water which was okay. The cons the hotel has a card that you can place on the bed and they won't change the sheets but would make the beds each day but which actually means they don't do anything in the room. we were there for 3 days. The beds weren't made, no new towels the trash was not emptied. In other words nothing was done. Hotel breakfasts are getting to be pretty standard. Self made waffles and coffee and tea choices bagels and rolls. The bacon and cooked eggs were in dishes that allowed them to be covered which meant that they stayed warm. But no fresh fruit and I didn't see any containers of yogurt. The breakfast was suppose to last until 10am part of the family went down at 9:30AM and everything was put away. So no breakfast that morning for a family of 5. The room shower was rather feeble there were no hooks for clothing in the bathroom so everything had to be on the counter. The temperature in the hall had to be in the upper 50s so you literally ran from the elevator to your room if you had been swimming. I had a long sleeve shirt a suit coat and a heavy overcoat and I was still cold walking down the hall. The work out room was nice and clean. Oh by the way that Juke was still setting in the same spot blocking the hotel entrance three days later.
Had room type issues at check in, semi resolved by extremely friendly customer service oriented staff. possible staff vehicle parked for 3 days blocking half of the entry way unloading area, Kitchenette cabinets had not been checked by housekeeping and there was food products left in the cabinets...forgot to report at check out. Newly remodeled baths have toilets way too low to the floor for adults or seniors. Great facility, priced right, clean and bright, extremely friendly accommodating staff, just a few things need tweaked to make it a great place.
We enjoy how new and clean this BW Plus is as well as the nice breakfast cafe that's available. The location is right off of the interstate exit and in a populated and well lit area.We especially enjoy the king sized beds and the workout facility that had more than enough equipment to share with other guests. We have now become BW rewards members because we pass this location often and trust other BW Plus hotels to be similar.
Staff were completely present, helpful, & professional. Hotel is beautifully decorated & in pristine condition. Room was clean & quiet & comfortable. Pool was perfect & breakfast spread was plentiful, hot, & delicious. Couldn't be more happy.
Loved this place. Will definitely stop again next time we pass this way! The bed was so comfortable. We slept really well. Breakfast was a special treat. At least it looked different than all the other places we have stayed, more variety and various ways of preparation. They were in the process of adding a new omelet bar.
We stopped for one night after driving all day. Desk staff was friendly and helpful with directions to restaurants in town. Room was very clean and had above-average amenities. Indoor pool was closed. Breakfast was above-average for similar hotels, and breakfast room was inviting.
Great room, well designed, clean and great bed. Plan on staying there again. The front desk clerk was very courteous and accommodating. I had called while traveling on the road a couple of hours out from the hotel. The clerk said he could reserve a room for me, but I did not want to reserve and he did not press me. I asked if there were vacancies, and he said there were. He was very pleasant on the phone and when we arrived in person.
I gave mostly 9's and 10's in the hotel's review. That's from a guy that rarely even gives a 6. The place was clean, the staff was helpful, friendly, responsive and spoke in clear English. The hotel itself was very clean and smelled clean.
We were pleased to find this Best Western Plus near the interstate highway in Indiana. It was clean and had comfortable beds for weary travelers. We would stay here again, given the opportunity. Nice neighborhood too.
In late and up early so only saw the room and breakfast. Room was very clean and comfortable. I got in late and the hotel was very peaceful so I got to sleep fast. Breakfast the next morning was well stocked with a nice variety and kept clean. I will be back through in May, but can't stay here again because they are full.
This is a great hotel. The room was very comfortable, clean, great shower, good towels. Bed was very comfortable. All the in room amenities were great. Loved the layout of the room. Very roomy and spacious.
We came down from the Chicagoland area to visit our daughter at Purdue for family weekend. After checking at all the hotels around Lafayette, we could not find anything at a decent price. So we decided to try this hotel in Crawfordsville, 30 miles south of W. Lafayette. It was definitely worth the drive! This was one of the best hotels and room that I have ever stayed in. Someone did a great job of designing the room itself and including "added features" in the room. A few examples would be: the special reading light above the bed, freshly cleaned TV remote, frig and microwave, USB charging ports on the desk and the nightstand, a digital clock that automatically adjusted for the time change from day light savings time to standard time, easy to use (and functional) heat control for the room, extra pillows for the bed, shampoo and soap already in the shower, wall mounted TV (avoids clutter), etc. etc. A lot of these things may seem little to many people, but when you add them all up and take into account the fairly reasonable price, it was a very pleasant experience for me and my spouse.
Very impressed. This hotel is clean, had a beautiful room and a good nights sleep. We are in the area once a year for covered bridge festival, will definitely return. Thank you Best Western for a wonderful stay!
The place was nice. Professional and Kind Staff. Large rooms. Comfortable bed. Decent work out room and equipment. And Diane, the morning cook, she threw down on the potatoes. Straight up amazing breakfast.
We called in of an evening looking for accomodation while on a roadtrip and we were impressed with our find. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The only thing we didn't really enjoy were the square pillows. They include a basic buffet breakfast and have pool and gym facilities. We enjoyed our overnight stay. Well priced too.
The rooms were very large and very lean air comfortable beds one entire state was fantastic the staff was wonderful Pool was nice and warm workout room was clean equipment was great again the entire hotel was fantastic
This has become my go-to property when I'm in the area. Very nice facility ... well maintained ... excellent, friendly, professional staff ... comfortable room. Fairly good value. There are less-expensive properties within a few hundred yards, but ... for the price, I think this Best Western is a pretty good value, regardless of whether I'm traveling alone or with my wife.
This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at and I frequent some expensive places in downtown Chicago. The rooms were well designed and spotless. A lot of small convenience features that I thought have gone by the wayside in the industry. Can't wait to stay there again.
We had reservations elsewhere and it was awfu, we didn't stay even one night, so this was a last minute booking. We really enjoyed the stay...the beds were a little firm for me, but other than that it was very nice!
I called ahead to ensure that they had a crib available and ended up booking over the phone. They were very helpful and answered all of my questions. They also called the morning of our checkin to see if I had any additional questions or requirements. Checkin was simple and fast, and our crib was already in the room! This was the highlight of our stay, especially coming into town after 11:30 PM with an exhausted 10 month old. The room was clean and the facilities were updated, but the superb customer service is what really stood out about this hotel. I look forward to staying at the Best Western Plus in Crawfordsville again in the future.
Nice stay. Good breakfast. Our bathroom wasn't clean, but they came promptly and cleaned. However, I couldn't get the image of the disgusting toilet out of my mind. Bed was comfortable. Convenient for our travels.
I booked a room with two queen beds for one night, last July, through AAA. Arrived for check-in last Friday evening. Got to our room and discovered it had one queen bed. Went down to the front desk, the clerk told me that my reservation had been changed but, could not tell by whom because it had been booked through a "3rd party", I suppose, meaning AAA. The clerk said she didn't have any other rooms and she could supply us with a roll-a-way. She brought the bed to our room within a few minutes and apologized for the trouble. My 6' tall, 200 lbs. son slept on the roll-a-way. He wasn't comfortable and didn't get much sleep.(Note: He's an experienced camper and is acquainted with sleeping on the ground.) I went down to check out the next morning and, when asked about our stay, I informed the clerk about our troubles. She checked my reservation and could see that it been changed a few days after my original booking. She also said that she couldn't see who changed it because it was booked 3rd party. She added that they could have changed the reservation themselves if they were already booked up when I booked my reservation. I asked her if that were the case, why was I not contacted. She couldn't answer that but, said she would offer a discount on our rate but couldn't because it had already been charged to my credit card. I'm not sure what happened with our reservation but, I was very disappointed and will be contacting AAA to advise them of the issues with my reservations. My wife and I both thought our bed was extremely hard. For most of the night there were some kids running around and I could hear a loud t.v. or, radio. I couldn't determine if was on our floor or, the floor above. Which ever, it was very annoying. The property was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was o.k., nothing to write home about.
We stayed in a king suite at this hotel and was extremely pleased with how roomy and nice the quality of this hotel offers. The very best firm mattress here, better than any other hotel We've ever stayed at. Will definitely stay at this hotel again when traveling to Crawfordsville, In.
Room great and staff very friendly. The breakfast choices were decent. the 24 hour coffee and water/iced tea was great. I would definitely stay at your hotel again. The soap and shampoo dispensers were not filled up.
From check in on a Friday afternoon to check out on a Sunday morning, we dealt with numerous "issues." Initially told at check-in that our room was ready and given key. Upon bringing our luggage to that room we found it open and in disarray with housekeeping definitely not completed. Went back to front desk and with much apology we were given another room down the hall. On Saturday, we left the room about 9 AM with the notice on pillow to not change bed (this is a very "green" hotel), and the soiled towels on the floor to be exchanged. We even hung the sign on the door that said "Make up room." Upon return at approximately 3:30 PM we found nothing had been done in the room. Called the front desk and with apology was told housekeeping was running behind due to hotel being fully booked. (If that was known in advance, one would think/expect the hotel to start earlier and/or have extra housekeeping help). At 4:30PM housekeeping had still not arrived so called front desk again, this time a bit more upset since we needed to get ready to leave for dinner and concert by 5PM. They did send someone with some fresh towels. Upon return at approximately 10:15PM the bed had been made up and the fresh bath linens and supplies were in place, though it did not appear that any cleaning was done. We noticed from first occupying the room that the bathroom door had a really loud squeak, but we ignored reporting that. On Sunday morning, prior to departure, tried to access the "free wi-fi," only to get a message that the "maximum simultaneous use" had been exceeded. Called the front desk and was advised the hotel was fully booked and maybe it was "overloaded," but just keep trying. Desk agent did offer to try to have someone come to the room, but we were getting ready to go to breakfast and check out, so I said forget it. I made a written list of all these issues which I shared with the front desk when checking out. The General Manager was there and the matter was referred by the desk clerk to her. She proceeded to give a long litany of explanation/excuse for the issues, which I really didn't need to hear. Her attitude was definitely not customer service oriented without any real acknowledgement of responsibility or concern. I referenced a joking comment I had made to the desk clerk at check in after the room switch and somewhat profuse apologies, about a discount on my bill. The General Manager said, well "you already have a discounted rate," (I made the reservation on the Best Western website), so there's nothing more to offer. I got my receipt and left.
Received other people reservations in my email. Even though I booked well over a month in advance and received there emails they told me I didn't have reservations for my daughters wedding! A real upsetting experience!
First day, they missed cleaning my room Second day they left dirty washcloth and towel on the bathroom floor and did not empty trash. Never replaced cups used in the room for 4 days. Body Wash dispenser was always empty The first day i went for breakfast there were no eggs and the attendant was standing around talking to another employee. So I left and ate somewhere else and each day after.... lazy people. I asked for a room on an upper floor, but they said there was none available. Yet the Hotel did not seem even near full.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and the bathrooms, especially, had modern and updated fixtures. The bedding was comfortable and the air conditioner was modern and not too noisy. It was an exceptional value.
Looked over areas that we were traveling near to book a hotel for the night. This hotel came up on TripAdvisor as being good. Rate was reasonable, and it included breakfast. Only downfall was that it was difficult to find plates, napkins and plastic ware for breakfast. A suggestion would be to have them in one area. Staff was very nice; room was clean.
Very nice, new, clean hotel with all modern amenities. Especially liked the key card to control all the lights and room temp to keep efficiency and costs down. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. Very affordable. We will be back!
We stopped in way home from trip out west. The hotel was easy to get to. The room was so neat, clean and up to date. The bed was so very comfortable and the shower felt great. It has small kitchen area. Great stay and would highly recommend
Clean, neat, well appointed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast bar was awesome and had just about anything you could ever want. When I need to go back to the area this is where I will be staying. Snagged a deal on Priceline so the value was excellent.
Our room was as nice as what other hotels would consider a suite. And the power saving feature is excellent. Unfortunately we only had one night to spend here and enjoy it longer. I would recommend this hotel for business or family travel, it would work for anyone.
We traveled and stayed for wedding in Crawfordsville. Although the hotel was filled we were pleased there was little noise from other rooms. Check in was prompt. We did report that our shower dripped and a light bulb was out on one of the reading lights. Because the hotel was so busy, we let them know to make up room during our two night stay.
It's overpriced for its location, considering there are four or five other hotels on the same street. But the facilities are very nice, rooms are spacious and clean, TV had premium channels and the staff were very friendly.
The rooms at this hotel are clean, well stocked and truly comfortable. It is a very good value for the cost. The customer service is excellent and the Manager takes a personal interest in making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff which caters the morning breakfast are friendly and make sure that your needs are accommodated. I will definitely stay there again!
We needed a large suite because our teenage grandson was travelling with us. It was very nice, but there was too much light from outdoors all night that could not be blocked out by the curtains. This problem seems so common at so many motels and hotels and bothers my wife and me because we prefer to sleep in a totally dark room. Other than that, the Crawfordsville BW+ was just fine.
A lovely hotel. Either recently updated or brand new. Comfortable, clean and appealing to the eye. Nice hot breakfast. Good exercise room and swimming pool. Complimentary coffee and tea available all day long.
Room was good size, clean, and comfortable. Loved the added touches like a cleaned and wrapped TV remote, etc. helpful staff and overall pleasant experience. Would stay again next time in Crawfordsville.
Hotel room was wonderful! We were staying due to visiting my in-laws. Unexpectedly my father in law passed. The owners of the hotel went above and beyond to help us get the rest of my family accommodations and checking to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be staying here again. The beds and rooms were very comfortable and clean.
We can't say enough good things about this hotel. The room was large, super clean, and extremely comfortable. The entire hotel was that way. Breakfast was amazing and the best we have ever experienced. Perfect stay!
We stayed here for swim divisionals. The staff was very friendly. The room was nice and clean. We were needing a late check out for our second day and they were very accommodating to our needs. We will stay here again next year.
This is such a nice hotel -- clean, friendly staff, nice rooms and great breakfast. We were in town for a swim meet and they opened breakfast an hour and a half early for the swimmers. I've never been to a hotel that did that before. The lady serving breakfast deserves a raise. She was helpful, kept everything well stocked and was quite chipper for 5:30am. The yogurt was the best I've ever had and they had blueberry and strawberry toppings available. This hotel is full of little touches to make your stay special. I would definitely stay here again!
Very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. They accommodated a large event in the area by opening breakfast earlier and leaving the pool and exercise area open later. Easy checki in and check out. Room was quiet.
really great hotel. Looks brand new. Only issue was internet. Tried multiple times and it would not connect. Staff was very friendly as well. I arrived late and they held my room (I called them to let them know).
I used to avoid Best Westerns based on experiences of 15 years ago but this location has changed my perception. Very clean, very quiet and up to date. Friendly staff made check in quick yet informative. Internet worked with no glitches and large parking lot made it possible to park my motorcycle where I could keep an eye on it.
Staff was very friendly. Hotel Very clean. When I travel and I see a Best Western Hotel, that will alway be my first pick. All the hotels i stayed at very clean. The one in Crawfordsville was a Green one.
I was expecting some glitches because this is a relatively new hotel but everything went very smoothly. I couldn't find a heavy blanket the first night but one magically appeared on day 2. I loved the layout of the room--more square than the typical hotel rectangle, thus it felt roomier. Good breakfast but it is also within walking distance to Cracker Barrel. Friendly staff behind front desk.
We stayed at this Best Western Plus hotel for one night during a recent cross-country trip. We had not stayed at a Best Western in several years, but this experience will motivate us to return to the Best Western brand. Clean, modern hotel; good staff; good breakfast.
We stayed here to attend a family wedding in the area. The hotel and the service were excellent. We were very satisfied with the room and there was nothing that could have been better. We were impressed that the room operated under green standards.
Was pleasantly surprised at how good the experience was....staff was welcoming and helpful....loved the bathroom especially....shower was really nice....will definitely come back next year...daughter lives in Crawfordsville.
Lobby, bathroom and other areas looked new and were very clean. Large vanity, white comforter, nice bed. Parking lot was quiet and safe feeling. Right off the interstate. Near fast food, gas stations, etc. Breakfast is the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, etc.Staff was very friendly. I'd stay there again when passing through. Not the very cheapest, but good value for sure.
Very friendly staff and very clean rooms. Good breakfast with good selection. Indoor swimming pool. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the Crawfordsville area. Rooms have microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee makers.
The hotel was very easy to get to. The staff went above and beyond addressing every question and need we had. The entire hotel was very clean and pleasing to the eye. Being a smoker, I enjoyed the fact that there was a lighted area with seating in a very pleasant place.
This by far is the "best" Best Western we have ever stayed at! We travel for our business throughout the midwest and east coast and always stay at Best Westerns. Excellent staff, rooms, breakfast, pool, parking, and easy access to the interstate. Great value!! Also, pet friendly with plenty of room to let them run in the nearby field.
This was the first time staying in this Best Western. When we walked into the room we were pleasantly happy with the appearance of everything in there. We have been in some pretty bad rooms before and this one was by far the best. I would recommend this to my family and friends.
Clean, comfortable safe! I'm an single female traveling alone so this is a BIG DEAL! Didn't check in till after 11pm and it's well lighted parking lot, comfort is a 2nd to safety and I felt safe here! Bed was comfy, everything was clean!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything you would need. We loved that it was pet friendly. And the checkout was easy and hassle free. A very pleasant experience for my family.
What a wonderful experience. My wife and I spent our wedding night at that best western plus in crawfordsville Indiana. Great facility and amazing staff! Great experiance!. I would recommend anyone to stay there. We will definitely stay there again
Very reasonable rate for the amenities of this hotel. Room was exceptional and I booked last minute over July 4th weekend. Location right off I74 with many nearby restaurants. Best Westerns are my favorite places to stay.
Excellent staff - very friendly and professional. Had a good free breakfast with hot food choices. The room was clean and newly remodeled. This is a very nice place to stay. This was our second time here.
Very nice and clean. Breakfast ok. Heated pool very nice. We had a stove, dishwasher and fridge, that was nice. Bathroom was very nice. Walls are thin and we could hear everything. Too expensive for washer and dryer.
Lobby and room were very clean - well kept up - pleasant staff. Not "bargain" priced, but reasonable for someone on a budget. Worth the money. One of the best hotel experiences we have had. Highly recommend. A++++++
Very clean lobby hallways the room was very clean the bathroom was very clean towels were white bed was comfortable pillows or white TV was clean remote was clean tables a room all around looked very very clean smelled good I like this so dispensers in the showers
Great hotel. Very clean and nicely furnished. Would have loved a hot tub after walking trails all day at turkey Run State Park but the pool was fine. Very good breakfast. Would stay there again anytime we are near Crawfordsville.
Large, clean room. Same with bathroom and shower. Shower easy to turn around in. Very good service from everyone. Manager frequently around and nice to guests and employees. Good supply of towels and wash cloths.
Holiday Inn and Hampton were full when we pulled into town. The clerk at Holiday Inn said the BW had rooms. I told her BW couldn't be trusted, you never know what your getting, but she assured us the hotel would be good. She was a bit off, the experience was wonderful. The room was clean, the bathroom had a shower only (no bath tub) which is perfect for us. The shower floor was slick and the tile in the bathroom was slick when wet. Had to step carefully during and after the shower. Read the other reviews and know all of us staying there were impressed. Breakfast was good, too. Clean breakfast area, attendant on duty, kept clean during the breakfast time frame. Keep up the good work BW. Let this one shine for the company.
Needed a bed for the night because of travel. Called several hotels and this was the only one with a room. I had to get a kitchenette room which was more expensive but thankful for the room. Very clean, need was a bit uncomfortable.
This is one of the nicer Best Westerns. It was very comfortable and quiet. Check in and out was pleasant and quick. We were offered a goodie bag or extra points as BW members. Staff was very attentive.
Clean friendly staff, good breakfast and spacious, freshly decorated rooms. We stayed after a family wedding and management was very accommodating to get us exactly the rooms we needed for our family of 10 to all sleep comfortably.
The staff were so polite and professional. Our room had all the amenities you'ld expect and more. We loved the XL bathroom and corner shower. The fact that the pool was salt water instead of chlorine was just icing on the cake!
The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, comfortable and updated. We would stay here again. The only room for improvement is the free breakfast. It wasn't very appetizing in my opinion.
We had booked a pet friendly room to see the covered bridges in the area. Hotel was a great location. Our room was clean, did not smell of pets or pesticides (some hotels spray after pets, we did not detect any such smells. Overall great experience.
I used my rewards points for two rooms, the rooms are clean and very up to date. THis location was one of the top Best Westerns I have stayed. The downside is it was 28k hotel points and checking at 140am and out at 7 seems high
Came to Wabash College for the "Big Bash" reunion and -- as always -- staff at BW Plus took excellent care of us. The room was perfect, breakfasts were great, staff very friendly and helpful, and overall it was a great stay. This made the Big Bash so much better -- never need to worry about a thing while staying at this recently-opened place. Very environmentally friendly too. If you drive an electric vehicle, they have a plug-in spot for you.
I liked the go green with the rooms. The room was great and very spacious . The kids and I enjoyed the swimming pool. The impression was very nice, it was clean and the staff was very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast very much.
Everything was great. Good value. There's really not much more to say other then it is really, really annoying trying to write more then i want or need to write. Trip Advisor should really change the min.!
We went on bus tour and had 1 night stay. Subhashina and her staff met our group at the door and welcomed us and gave each of us an information sheet. Rooms were large and clean. They enforced quiet time after 10:00 pm, so no wild parties next to your room. Breakfast was excellent and staff was very courteous. Her husband Satish was there helping right along with Subhashina and her staff. As general manager he was there to oversee everything and we wanted for nothing. I will definitely stay there again whenever we come through this area again.
I was expecting a quality hotel and I was not disappointed. Clean, good beds but beyond that the little things added to the experience. Nice looking furniture with mini refrigerator (no freezer, which I missed). The shower shampoo, body wash and conditioner in dispenser attached to the wall and not limited to a tiny bottle.
We were very pleased with the facility and service. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling in the area, you will not be disappointed. I had forgotten my wallet there. They called me and when I returned to retrieve it, they would not accept a reward.
Friendly and caring staff! Clean and comfortable rooms. Resturants and gas stations close by. Easy on and off of the highways. Newer facility! Whether traveling for business or pleasure, this motel should be able to take care of all of your needs.
The staff was very knowledgeable about the brand.. facility was clean even during remodeling. Only issue was rooms where not ready at 3pm... but it was a very busy weekend.. had several wedding parties memorial day weekend
We arrived on Friday afternoon and found out that when our friends added an additional night stay, we had not be included in that change. Both managers assured us that even though there were 3 wedding parties staying for the weekend, they would work things out for us, and by that evening we were all set. Our stay here will be one of the most memorable stays anywhere because that evening the Tornado sirens went off and a severe storm rolled through. The managers handled the situation calmly and professionally.
Jason Scott was extremely accommodating. There was a mix up with our reservation and he took care of everything. Nice facility. Looks like newly renovated. Would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was really good too.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The double queen room was more than spacious enough for my husband and I and our two children. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was warm. And the breakfast was good with many options.
Best buy for the price around. Clean, comfortable, and courteous - with a nice breakfast to send us on our way. This is our preferred place to stay when ever we cross IN in route to visit family out East
Efficient and speedy check in. The room, one King, has an excellent floor plan and furnishings with a sofa and nice desk. The lighting, which is so often lacking is excellent. Plenty of light, and the switches are in the right place, easily found and operated in the dark. Informed staff at the desk had all the right answers regarding local restaurants, etc. Breakfast clean and with great equipment, food choices that will satisfy most everyone. I've tried all of the Crawfordsville motels during the past 12 months, the BW most recently and I rank it the best in town.
This hotel is wonderful and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The staff is professional, courteous, and efficient which helped with both check in and check out. The breakfast was typical hotel fare but the cleanliness and attention by the staff was tremendous.
Excellent hotel located just off the main highway ramp. Easy on and off. I stayed here with family after a graduation at the U of I. Very clean, quiet (as the backyard is a cornfield) and staff is happy and helpful. The only thing ( and I am being super picky) was the breakfast staff was slow to refill items. They really didn't check until someone said something. Otherwise it was a great overnight.
Beautifully decorated and clean rooms with great looking décor. TV has lots of great channels. Nice indoor swimming pool and exercise room. Breakfast has both hot and cold items, but get there early to make sure that you get something to eat.
for the most part, stay was good. here for a wedding. check in at desk was a nightmare. guy (Shane) didn't seem to have it together. 2pm checking in and our room was not ready yet but we were guaranteed it would be. found a housekeeper (Amy) working in our neighbors room. asked how long till our room was done cause we need for wedding party getting ready and she stopped what she was doing to get our room ready. she was very nice and polite and the room was excellent when we got in even tho she had to hurry to get it done. will stay again just hope check in goes better next time.
I haven't stayed in a Best Western for many years and was pleasantly surprised at how nice this one was. The room was spacious, the bed was great, the bathroom has exceptional features (magnifying makeup mirror, very good lighting and eco-friendly soap/shampoo/lotion dispensers). There was a small noise issue that should be easy to correct. (We had a room that adjoined to another and the insulation of the door was not sufficient to block out noise from the adjoining room.) All in all a great experience. Breakfast was really good too!
Very clean. Courteous staff. Enjoyed pool, work out facility, and SAUNA! At such a reasonable price. Will be staying again as we visit our son at DePauw University (~25 miles away) over the coming years.
I was traveling from Florida to Wisconsin and needed a place to stay. It was getting late, I was tired, and happened upon Crawfordsville, IN. Fortunately rooms were available. Very clean, well run, and very accommodating. Wonderful stay.
This Best Western was an excellent place to stay. Was impressed with quality of rooms and upgrades. Quiet, spacious and very clean rooms. Shane was extremely helpful with information regarding the city of Crawfordsville and offered best places to visit and eat.
Everyone was very pleasant and the breakfast is incredible. The pool and sauna were immaculate. Rooms were very clean and quiet. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a little get away. Great stay!
Room was very clean and comfortable. Loved have restaurant and gas station near. The bed, pillows and temperature of room was amazing. I loved the updated features like USB plugs on night stand along with reading light. The hotel has energy saving features as well. Breakfast was ok. Loved the yogurt machine but did not care for the egg and sausage.
Nice hotel, clean, quiet, friendly staff and good breakfast. My only complaint would be is the pillows were too high/fluffy for me (very minor). Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Plus price was reasonable.
Front desk staff was very nice and personable. This is one of the best pet friendly hotels in the area. The team of employees at the hotel made me feel very comfortable. The breakfast had a nice variety every day and had several healthy food options daily.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean upon arrival. My only issue would be the very thin blankets and the beds are very hard and uncomfortable. My children enjoyed their stay very much as well.
We stayed here previously when it was under different ownership. Glad to see it's a Best Western, and nice improvemtns. Very easy and friendly check in, rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is about normal for most motels in this price group. Will definitely stay again when traveling east.
Very convenient location. Comfortable, spacious, clean room. Like the "green" practice. Good value. Would stay again. Only negative was in-room coffee was poor quality. Front desk staff very friendly.
We were truly impressed with our stay. Shane was exceptionally pleasant in both helping with the reservation one day (I had pet questions) to greeting us at check in the next. The room was clean and inviting. The breakfast buffet was well done and the lady who managed it was wonderful and extremely attentive. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this motel to others.
Rooms where very nice. Work out room was clean. We reserved a block of rooms for our bowling tournament and got a good rate. Was close to food and stores. Kids enjoyed the pool. Windows in room open. Had a good stay.
This hotel was only 6 months old when we stayed. The room was very nice and staff superb. We were leaving early to catch train and they made a snack bag for each of us. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
This is an up to date, nice hotel. Loved the layout of the rooms. They are a green hotel and even had a plug available for electric cars. Easy to get to right off the Interstate. Staff was friendly and helpful . Breakfast was above average.
We love this hotel! We have a plant in Jamestown that we frequently travel to for business and we always ask for the BW in Crawfordsville on our trip request even though it is a little farther to drive as we are coming from the South. It is well worth the extra 20 minutes or so.
Beautiful room which was clean and nicely updated. Had 2 queens and a couch. Breakfast could have been better. Only hot items were eggs and pancakes. Where's the meat? I ended up at McDonalds. I was counting on saving that ten dollars.
The staff was first rate. The facility is brand new. The food very good. Way better than the nearby competition. I recommend it highly and I stay in Crawfordsville about four times a year for the past thirty years! Well run, nice new place.
We were excited to find a brand new hotel in this location. They were only open for a few weeks when we stayed and we had a there were few problems with our room, but they were taken care of right away and the staff was friendly and willing to help in any way they could. I would definitely stay here again.
The staff was great. Very friendly! The hotel very clean. Didn't know what to expect due to the fact we usually stay at one of the other chains in the area. But with the new renovations that have been made. And if the staff keeps up the level of customer service, we will differently stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here on our way to Nashville from Wisconsin. Very modern room and very spacious. Many channels to choose from. The pool was being renovated so we weren't able to use it. The breakfast was excellent with lots of options.
Very nice hotel, extremely clean, great helpful staff, super breakfast with good assortment of food and staff to help with anything you need. Pool being finished and a washer, dryer for guests to be installed very soon. Couldn't ask for more. Great price. We will stay here every time we are here to visit family.
Newly renovated. Everything was wonderful! Beds, breakfast, price, employees and easy access to parking. There are some other pricey hotel chains in the area, but I am glad I chose this one instead. Thank you to all involved! My stay was awesome.
Newly remodeled, clean, quiet, friendly and attentive staff, rooms had a nice layout. Great place to stop on a road trip or for business in the area. Pool was under renovation, had a decent breakfast buffet.
Very glad I chose this hotel. Comfortable, clean and safe. Staff were very accommodating and breakfast was nice. There were other hotels close to where I needed to be with a much higher price tag, but not as nice as this one. Newly renovated with great staff.
New hotel, very nice with a great staff. Food for breakfast was very good, but the eating area was a little small. Everything appeared to be in good working order, but the swimming pool is under construction. Good location for travelers. Price was competitive.
This was a beautiful hotel. We found out later that it had been totally renovated. The rooms were very nicely done and the colors were great. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Best of all the price was very affordable. What a deal!
. We enjoyed our stay and was glad to get a room at a very decent price. The room was very comfortable and very spacious. Anything closer to Indianapolis was quite a bit higher or sold out. We were very pleased to find a quality hotel. Thank you Best Western.
Hotel is easy to navigate from nearby I74, Lafayette and Crawfordsville by vehicle; staff were friendly and helpful. low noise level in spite of proximity to Interstate, safe environment as female overnight alone. Rooms are very clean, nice, and spacious with refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot. Easy internet access. Hot breakfast bar with fruit juices, cereal, hot sausage, make your own pancake, bagel, etc. Will go back in near future.
Rooms are just lovely, nicest I have seen in a hotel/motel for a long while. Beautiful bath room, large floor length shower, glass doors, mattress comfortable, we both had a good nights sleep, very clean, very happy with stay, definitely recommend and reasonably priced.
Nice clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff.Great shower and huge rooms at a reasonable price. Within walking distance to eat dinner. Make this your place to stop for the night. Will be back again.
Great rates! I booked thru the trip advisor ap when we pulled into town. Fast check in! The room was very clean and comfortable.Friendly staff! We enjoyed bacon, oatmeal, cereal, cappuccino, and fruit for breakfast. We will definitely stay again if passing thru.
very good exp bug and billing I will check to see about billing. did not take care of it at lime however did question the billing. the bug was killed and placed in garbage. the over all cleanliness of hotel was very good so was not worry and I always set my belongings off the floor.
From before we arrived, we were treated like family. We arrived before check in, and they quickly got our room ready. They were friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and updated. The breakfast was okay, but was a bit crowded during a rush. Options were good for a continental breakfast.
The location is right off the interstate, so pretty easy to find. The room was very spacious and very clean. Nice updates to the room to provide a pleasant environment and stay. We had a pet with us, and there is a $20 deposit. Unlike other places, however, that money is refunded if the room looks OK upon checkout. In addition, we booked directly, but they honored the lower price I found on hotel.com. The breakfast was good - beyond continental. They had some eggs and sausage, and pancakes instead of waffles. We come through here a couple times a year, and we will for sure be re-booking.
Stopped here while eastbound on I-71. Staff were friendly and efficient. Had to get used to energy-saving technology in the room. You have to leave your plastic doorkey in a wall slot for the power to work in your room. Other than that novelty, the room was clean and spacious (we got a single king bed room). The brekfast had hot eggs, meats and most other breakfast foods - gave it a thumbs-up.
The hotel was brand new, I called twice before my arrival at the hotel to ask if the indoor pool would be open, and was told both times, that it would be. The day I arrived, it was not even CLOSE to being open. Went to take a shower before going to the wedding we were attending, and no hot water. Was told that they had to "re set" the boiler and it would be a little while.
Superb stay. Excellent staff. This hotel will change the landscape of staying in/near Montgomery County once it is complete. Plenty of room in a King. Love the individual bed lights and spacious bath as well.
The hotel was under renovation so we got an amazing rate on our room. Our room was already finished and was absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean and up-to-date. We stayed on Aug 18th and were able to use our card and did receive a receipt upon check-out. This hotel will be amazing once it's completely finished!
This place apparently is not on the Best Western website till Sept 1st. We stayed here last night and was told we had to pay cash. They did not have there credit card machine up yet. So they sent us to a gas station down the road to use the ATM machine. The hotel looks nice when you walk in. Then when you get to your room it smells SO bad like mold. It was making me sick. We walked up to the 2nd and 3rd floor to look around. There is signs of mold in the corners of the walls and the ceilings. So We went down stairs to get everything out of our room and check out. They had bags with some kind of eggs floating in water and sausage sitting out. Must have been our food for the morning. You could see it through the open door to the breakfast area. When we went to check out, the lady told us she could not refund our money because she already dropped it in the safe. I told her to call a manager! She said he just left. I asked about the mold smell she told me there was a different hotel here and it was flooded and they are trying to get the smell out. If there is smell there is mold! I asked for a receipt and she said she could not give us one because they were not a best western till September 1st. DO NOT stay here!
