Je m’inscris Hotel itself was clean and the room super clean. I found the front desk employees very friendly. Really all you can ask for while on the road. I needed some plates and forks from the hotel for dinner and unlike other places I stayed it was super easy to walk up to the cafe area and grab them. No hassle.
This is our go-to hotel when we stay in College Station. Staff is attentive and friendly. Breakfast had a good variety and tasty. Room clean with good air conditioning. Within walking distance to several restaurants and convenient to major intersection.
The wheelchair-accessible room with a tub and two queen beds worked out well for us. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was free. (Make your own Texas-shaped waffles, y'all!) Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The price was reasonable. I would stay here again.
While the hotel outside looks nice and the lobby is clean, the maid service lacks greatly. I was there for 13 days and not once did they sweep mop or vacuum the room. I had the same bed linens for the 13 nights I was there. I made comments and complaints, but yet nothing was corrected. I hope that management recognizes they have an issue and will take corrective action. It's too nice to let the lack of Cleaning the rooms drive it in the ground. I did send an email to the manager and also Best Western Customer Service. I heard back from customer service, but nothing from the manager of the hotel. That should be very telling about how concerned the manager is about their hotel.
Front desk officer Mr. Colby is found very supportive and an awesome person. He made my stay very friendly and welcomed. Hotel is very cleaned and tidy. Thay served hot breakfast with my liked food. Breakfast is just WOW! I must give 5 star rating.
We had a major issue when we stayed in that the hotel was non-smoking but we could clearly smell drugs for nearly the whole 7 days we were there. We reported it to reception & nothing was done. Also, one of the reception staff that did the early morning shift was very unfriendly bordering on aggressive. The pool looks really pleasant in the photos but you are basically in the car park with no screen to the coming & going of residents There are much better hotels around Located close to some good restaurants & easy highway access
I was charged at check in for length of stay and incidentals . I did not use incidentals . I now have to check for refund.
My husband and I were thoroughly please with our stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet at night, we didn't hear any other guests. The cooling system was relatively quiet and kept the room comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was clean and had a nice variety of food, for most tastes, such as scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, bagels, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit and hot coffee and hot tea. The area around the hotel is very convenient to other restaurants and the access road. The surroundings are very clean and well kept. We will definitely stay here again!
This Best Western in College Station is a great hotel! We appreciate the friendliness, the cleanliness and the great value. The rooms are large, even in the King size bed rooms, there is a couch and a chair and a coffee table. The beds are very comfortable. You receive a complimentary hot breakfast each morning and when we check in, we always ask for a couple of bottles of water and a blanket and they always oblige. It's also located close to great restaurants and a large grocery store. It's not located close to the A&M campus, but very close to the highway which would take you there quickly. We have stayed in this hotel numerous times and have never had any kind of problem. Highly recommend!
My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel as we were traveling to Central Texas. The hotel was very clean. The service was great and the price was very reasonable. The area felt very safe and the breakfast that was included was nice. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.
We were very pleased with all aspects of the stay. Cleanliness of the hotel and the room, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, amenities were all nice and the price was reasonable.
No complaints. Clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Staff was nice, friendly, and showed courtesy. Plenty of good restaurants and fast food options in close proximity along with a grocery store and Walmart near by.
This place got it right. They did an excellent job. Front desk staff greeted us with a smile, pulled up the reservation handed us the key and pointed us to our room while pointing out the breakfast room and hours. Lobby area was clean and decorated for Christmas. Room was clean, smelled fresh and the temperature was comfortable. Fixtures were clean and up to date. It felt clean and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and warm and the dining staff was so gracious; I asked about a particular breakfast item that was not on the line and a few moments later it arrived at my table, That was so very nice and unexpected but very much appreciated. If I am in the area again, this is my hotel of choice. So refreshing! I'd say this is one of the nicer hotels I've ever visited. Thank you. Clean, clean, everything is clean. Ample parking. Easy highway access. There are 2 restaurants within a very short walk. Kathleen at the front desk was very cheerful and professional, as was the young man at the desk in the evening.
This hotel was so clean, in the rooms and out, the parking lot is well lit, the Continental breakfast was very good, BUT the staff….they are so personable, courteous and knowledgeable! It's like staying with family!
Had a nice clean room in a safe location and near the attraction we were in town to visit. Also liked the morning breakfast as there were more choices than at other hotels I've stayed at. Price was very good compared to other hotels in the same location.
The rooms were very clean and staff was very nice. Didn't hear a lot of noise coming from outside the room ie people talking, kids running, etc. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. and would stay there again.
Second time staying here but definitely the last. Our first experience must've been luck. We smelled and found dried up vomit on and near the night stand of our room. This was during night shift and the female staff member at the front desk was very unsympathetic and she was like talking with a brick wall. She never once apologized for the inconvenience but said she cannot answer any of our basic questions. We had to downgrade our room which resulted in us (mom, toddler son, and dad) cramming into a queen size bed hardly getting sleep. The next morning for checkout we spoke with the manager who also didn't seem sympathetic, never offered to make it right and threw down our hotel card and whispered to the employee next to him while we walked out. Oh, he also insinuated we were making this up and said he went to the room when he arrived on shift but couldn't smell anything and in the same breathe said that could be because he can't smell anything since Covid. That's when we showed him the pictures. If you stay here and you come across any issue, don't expect it will be handled properly, professionally, and with hospitality. This is your warning to look elsewhere.
nice and clean rooms, great service, very good location, very good price, good rewards, hot breakfast, I personally recomended this hotel to all my friends and family, my daugther is atending College here so we are planing on visiting her every other weekend
Overall I liked this property. Most notable was the clean fresh appearance of the facility. Rooms and AC were quiet. Nice bath and shower. Breakfast was basic. Check in/out was easy. Parking close and well lit. Secure feeling facility.
Very clean. Great service. Comfortable beds, great A/C. Breakfast is not great. Gym equipment was limited, but sufficient. Overall, we will stay there again. Very satisfied. It was a surprisingly great value for our experience.
Clean, BIG rooms. excellent breakfast. Sausage was crispy as was bacon. Good stuff. Staff provided extra blankets upon request. Helpful staff. Towels at pool. Free Parking. Safe area. Walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants.
I'd highly recommend staying here as its a new hotel and very clean. There are a lot of dining and shopping options in the area and its a great location. The pool is nice and clean too and it was very refreshing to take a swim in the evening after a full day.
This is a warm and welcoming place to visit. The staff is kind and the rooms are clean. The beds were comfortable and I loved the pillows. I will definitely stay again when I visit my daughter at A & M.
Our room was clean and quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. We extended our stay, and the staff was helpful and accommodating in arranging that for us. We enjoyed a nice, hot breakfast each morning. We were also thankful that there was a guest laundry facility - we ended up needing to use it!
Very clean and lots of amenities. Keurigs in the room are a definite plus! There's a breakfast buffet included. The staff were very pleasant and the location is convenient. We will stay here again the next time we visit College Station.
This is a a convenient option for visiting A&M. I slept well and the room was quiet. I was very disappointed though with the breakfast. The first morning, the coffee dispensers were not working. After some time, an employee managed to get one to work. The next morning, there was no coffee at all. While there is a Keurig in the lobby, it was filthy. It looked like it had never been cleaned. I had to drive to the local coffee place and buy a coffee. I often stay at BWs because I like having the breakfast included. If I were the manager, I would have gone to a local coffee place and bought a few containers of coffee for the guests. So not a bad hotel, but they need to step it up with the breakfast program.
Terrible experience!! Stayed three days and room was never cleaned even after specifically requesting it from the front desk. Could barely get a cell signal in the room and had to go outside to make calls. Beds are incredibly hard and I could not sleep the second night because I couldn't get comfortable even on my back. Tried to cancel early but was told (after waiting 10 minutes for someone to actually appear at the front desk) that I had to go through Expedia (whom I booked with). Then was told by Expedia that only the hotel could change the reservation. The agent there was at least nice enough to try to work with BW, but they have been absolutely horrible to deal with. Will NEVER stay at another Best Western!
The room was nice with plenty of space, bed and pillows were very comfortable, and everything was clean. We did not use the in room amenities, but they were easily available. Breakfast was very good, and they had a very nice selection of items.
Upon checking in until we left the next morning, we had nothing but a great experience at this hotel. We were greeted in a great manner by the staff and when we walked into our room you could smell it the "clean" of our room. Everything was clean. The breakfast was good and we were greeted with a Good Morning. When we left we were also told good morning by three additional staff working that morning.
I keep coming to this hotel whenever in town. Unfortunately this stay was unsatisfactory. The room next to ours had a dog that barked constantly for over 3 hours. The manager reported it was fixed. And 30 minutes later the barking stopped. Fixed? Nope. 0700 the next morning it started up again. I got up and checked out. Sadly their inability to fix a problem that multiple guests complained about means I need to find a different hotel.
For the type hotel that it is and price charged this hotel is the best deal I've ever seen! The cleaning staff were exceptional and worked with me because of my weird schedule. I loved my stay and time in college station. What a lovely and vibrant place to stay while visiting family.
Coffee brilliant. Staff friendly. Breakfast awesome and included. Room (4 people) comfy and large and clean. Shower nice but bathslippery. I had virtual meeting and was allowed into conference room at 6. Parking free. I will definitely refer my friends!
Custodian Staff was very cooperative when requested to provide additional towels and toiletries. Breakfast was standard for BW. Noise levels were surprisingly low level. Local restaurants were nearby. Safe area for morning walking.
From Check-in to Check-out everything was trouble free. Everyone was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Most went beyond my (high) expectations and would be an asset to any establishment, including 5 star od 5 diamond inns.
We decided to stay here overnight on our way back home from a cruise. We chose this hotel based on reviews and price. We were pleasantly surprised to find there were restaurants within walking distance of the hotel or if you prefer a 1 to 2 minute drive. The young lady who checked us in on August 21 was very helpful and sweet, the room was exceptionally clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was good and has variety of items for everyone. We would definitely book here again and I will reccomend to family and friends.
Management nonexistent and the next day refused to listen to our concerns. Paid for a place to sleep, requested a quiet room, and received a noisy room (dogs barking, ice machine could be heard all hours, a/c loud, etc.). Just trying to move my daughter into her apartment for her 1st semester at Texas A&M.
We had a room with two queen beds, they were very comfortable! The bathroom and room were extremely clean with no lingering odor. The breakfast was great. Easy and convenient location, very friendly staff.
Overall, we were very please. The king bed was comfy and firm, and the A/C was super cold, much appreciated during TX summer. We were welcomed with a smile and overall everyone we met was friendly. We left too early for breakfast, so we grabbed the one to go. This was one of two down spots of the stay, as inside the bag was a bottle of water, an apple, and a cereal bar. Very disappointing. There was also no coffee in the foyer, which left us under caffeinated for our trip.
One of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in! Spilled a little water on the floor in our room and wiped it up with a bath towel and you couldn't even tell which side of the towel I used! ALL the Staff were pet friendly people and our mini Rat Terriers could tell it. They were on a first name basis with all before we left and our little Baxter didn't even have to be carried onto the elevator (first time ever). Keep up the good work! I stay in a motel/hotel most every week somewhere and with all that's going on in today's covid and staffing environment (attitudes, etc.), this place was truly a breath of fresh air!
Breakfast area is closed to using except for during 6:30 - 9 am breakfast time. We would have liked to sit there in the evening. Nice business center. There is a double queen, but unfortunately no Queen suite. Alyssa at check-in was helpful. Nice outside pool is open until 10 pm. Hotel needs to be upgraded and cleaned.
Very good trip. The hotel was right across from a shopping center so it was great to grab other foods or snacks to have over the weekend. The room was accommodating spacious for 2 people, allowing for a few guests to hang out comfortably when we had them visit before they left.
I travel to College Station 3-4 times a year for business. I specifically booked this hotel so I could use their destination charger to charge my car. Upon arrival the charging station shows to have power but will not charge. After checking with front desk, on two different days, and asking if they could turn on the charger, I got conflicting stories. First, I was told they just needed to turn on the electrical breaker; but the front desk lady didn't have the key to gain access to the electrical panel. The next day, I was told the general manager wasn't available and maybe they needed to call a technician to fix it. This is a relatively new hotel and the charging station looks to be in good working order so it's frustrating to book a new hotel that doesn't have their advertised amenities functional. I don't recommend this hotel if you have an EV.
Travis and Brayton are phenomenal! They went above and beyond for months leading up to our event weekend, and then knocked it out of the park between service, flexibility, special requests and anything else me or my group needed to make this a wonderful stay. Housekeeping had all of our rooms ready to go before they were needed, and every staff member I saw smiled and greeted me or wished that I have a great day. I'll be letting both their corporate office and the managers of this property know about the exceptional service we received. I'm so thankful for this team and their hard work!
I stayed here during a quick trip to Texas A&M. Positives Convenient to College Station, Bryan and Texas A&M Quiet, even though located near Highway 6 Friendly staff Clean rooms, just as shown in photos. Walking distance to Saltgrass Steakhouse, Walk Ons (sports bar) and soon a Gringos Large, walk-in shower Warm breakfast options including eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, and waffles. Also fruit and cereal Negatives Shower heads were VERY high. I'm 6' and it was difficult for me to adjust showerhead. Wouldn't be safely possible for smaller individuals. Overall, a quality hotel at a reasonable cost.
Great service, very nice room, staff always available. The breakfast provided was very extensive and immediately replenished throughout. The guest rooms are lovely and large. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
Came back to College Station and again selected Best Western Plus to stay. 100% because of their dog friendly policies. Travelling with a dog and finding a hotel can be a challenge and some hotels that say they are Pet Friendly, really are not so much. This one definitely is. I'd also like to mention Travis Houston (probably the most Texas name of any person I've ever met). He is absolutely the best hotel staff I've encountered. He immediately makes you feel welcome and takes care of every need immediately.
We were planning to stay 2 days in Seabrook, but after 1 day, we knew we had to go elsewhere. I saw this location and got a nights stay. So happy we made that choice, I rather had stayed here for the whole week! This hotel is newer, clean, and a lot near by. Looks like College Station is a developing town, would love to come back. The only negative, which really all hotels seem to deal with are hearing people above you or doors slamming from neighboring rooms. I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel when you never heard a door slam. Overall, great place!
Hotel appears very new, and extremely clean. Breakfast exceeded our expectations, with a much greater assortment and quality of items than anticipated. This was our second stay at this hotel, and the staff has been fantastic both times. We, without a doubt, will stay here during our next trip to CS.
Showed up to check in and they couldn't find my reservation. Did not offer to find me another hotel or compensate whatsoever. I'd edited my reservation to one Saturday night. They counted me as a no show Friday night, and couldn't find reservation when I arrived. ON A GAME DAY! Unhappy customer. Go to La Quinta, we did, and slept great.
Staff is very friendly! Hit breakfast, clean spacious rooms, quiet. We have tried several other hotels in the area but this hotel will be our go to from now on! We have never had a bad experience here.
Nice staff and great breakfast (a pleasant surprise given how so many hotels are using covid as an excuse to offer basically nothing). Internet is really weak even though I had a new laptop; needs to be improved which is easy to do if they cared.
Friendly and accommodating staff all the way round. Breakfast has lots of options and very delicious. Rooms with 2 queen has lots of space to move around and very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.
Thebhotel apparently overbooked itself due to the football weekend, so when our room was damp, humid, and smelly due to a malfunctioning AC, we were told there were no options for us. We went back up to the room to see if we could make it work, but the smell, the damp bathroom and entry floors that were literally slip hazards, and the damp feeling pillows and bedding made us return to the front desk to find out if maybe there was a rollaway bed as my sister's youngest son offered to give up his spot in their bed so we could have a bed in a dry room. No rollaway bed. We had to settle for extra pillows and blankets to make a bed for him on the floor, shift my other nephew to sleep with my sister so we could have a bed for the 2 of us. We gave back the keys to the front desk to the damp, humid room and were not charged for that room, but nothing else was offered for our troubles. Plus, that damp, smelly room was given to another guest that same night without the problem really being resolved (we were sitting in the lobby trying to decompress after the stressful situation and heard the other guest being given that same room!). Hotels should NOT overbook...EVER!
I had a week long training at Texas A&M TEEX and needed a nice hotel that was close to campus and some luxuries; restaurants, stores, shops, etc When I go back in a few months for another training, I will be booking this same hotel. This hotel was perfect!
Best Western off Hwy 6 South in College Station, 950 Arrington Rd. sits back behind front line commercial properties and is fairly quiet, next to Salt Grass and within 7 to 10 minutes of campus depending on traffic. Good set of bath linens, standard Plus fare in room other than the Keurig for coffee was an extra special treat. Nice comfy bed, clean, comfortable room, I was satisfied with all. Nice parking area in rear as close as front lot. Booked room at one price and was charged differing amounts over four days, understood but unexpected, make sure you ask I suppose!
This is probably the best hotel to stay at in College Station/Bryan if you are travelling with a pet. Overall, great hotel. They are serving hot breakfast unlike La Quinta's so don't stay at one of those.
This room was nice and hotel was clean and nice. The employees were all very friendly. The AC was a dream in the hot Texas summer because it worked really well and used a regular thermostat on the wall that was simple to use. I have already booked our next trip there since we enjoyed it so much.
I want the world to know, that Amber(front desk supervisor) gave us the best welcoming to Best Western. Her customer service created and set the positive tone for our stay at Best Western. I'm so happy Amber was there to help us during our stay in College Station! Thank you Amber for your wonderful customer service. We won't forget you.
Had a great stay for a 1 day get away everything thing was great from breakfast to the pool ac was working wonderful---total enjoyed my stay the breakfast was the bomb totally enjoyed the pool would definitely recommend Best Western Plus to family and friends
Very happy with my stay and the entire hotel experience. I travel for business and look forward to staying again. The entire staff always helps me with an early check in when needed and i love that!!!
Our room was very clean and modern. The customer service was excellent, and very efficient at answering question. I did however have trouble with checking in online but other than that we will definitely make accommodations to stay here again.
We arrived with a group.....only one elevator & one small luggage cart. Desk clerk hardly acknowledged us coming in. Our room smelled..always spray any way but room really needed to be sprayed with lysol. Breakfast offered food that had to be microwaved....have to say the egg cheese biscuits were actually pretty good.
I had the most amazing stay and service ever thanks to Brayton and Amber! From check in to the breakfast, to casual conversation as I came in and out of the hotel they were so friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend this location
This hotel was convenient, clean and friendly. The front desk clerk was awesome. The hotel was right of the exit and had good amenities close by. I would stay here again. Bathrooms were updated, beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet.
First, I have to mention the girl (A&M Junior pre-med) who helped us with our check-in (1/16 around 8:30pm). She was so very pleasant and friendly, and really made us feel very welcome. If the manager of this hotel reads this review, I hope you can find out who she is and let her know she did a great job. Bathroom is pretty clean. The walk-in shower is great (sometimes the curtain stuck and I had to yank on it), but water pressure is low. Counter space is small, but compensated by plenty of shelves underneath the counter. There were plenty of towels for two of us. Bedroom is spacious enough so you don't feel cramped. I love the little Keurig machine and greatly appreciated that the mini fridge is empty for us to use. Wifi works out without a hitch and not lagging at all. AC unit is pretty loud (just like any hotel). Here is my one complaint -- there was not enough cover to use. My husband likes to keep the room cold when he sleeps so I need to pile on more cover, but all we had is a very thin blanket sandwiched by 2 sheets. I ended up piling up all the extra pillows around and on me. Their parking lots (front and back) were very well lit -- a big plus. We did not eat breakfast there so don't know how the food was. Overall, this is a good place to stay with very reasonable price.
Alton at front desk was very polite and welcoming. The vibe when we walked in was warm and cozy. So thankful as we were caught in snowstorm while traveling. The room was nice and clean. Appreciated the fact it was small hotel and very quiet the night we stayed.
We checked in fairly early. The young lady that checked is in was quick and fast. We booked 3 rooms total. In our room the coffee pot was not working. So I had to constantly go from the room back down to the lobby to get coffee. I switched coffee pots from my son's room as he was leaving that day and I wanted coffee to take with us. I made the front desk aware of the situation so that I can switch the pots. Sonia Ratman had wonderful customer service skills and just a very sweet personality. She is great to be working at your front desk. We will definitely be back.
I wish I could give 5 out of 5, but I want to write an honest review by taking everything that happened into consideration. The check-in was fast, the staff was friendly and parking was convenient. We got a room on the second floor across the elevator. The blankets had been pulled up very neatly and pillows were fluffed nicely. In a bathroom, I found a lot of short hair on the top of the toilet, and the mirror wasn't cleaned well, but taking late time into consideration we were ready to go to bed. First, we found that one bed had short hair (like dog hair). Then I opened to check another bed and found dark-colored stains on the bedsheet. The thought that we were offered to sleep in someone else sheets during Covid was disgusting. The front desk person gave us a key to another room that was generally clean, except for numerous stains on the box spring skirt. We fall asleep. Everything was quiet, I didn't hear any noises. In the morning, we got a prepacked breakfast in a bag, which was much better than we received in other locations this season. When we checked out, the hotel staff was nice and brought us an apology for the incident.
We had to evacuate for Hurricane Laura. The hotel was new and still nice. The front desk is in need of courteous, knowledgeable and capable staff. My room was booked through 3rd party vendor. The hotel charged my credit card and said they credited it back but it never has shown up on my credit card. I have called four times so I have now filed a dispute with my credit card company and will be calling Best Western Corporate.
Clean, cool, nicely decorated, friendly staff, healthy and fresh breakfast choices to take on-the-go. I have stayed here once before and will stay here again in a few months. Nice restaurants next door and a grocery store and gas station less than half a mile away. Brightly lit parking lot.
The people that work there are very nice. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. Due to the Covid-19 the hotel didn't serve there normal breakfast but what they did serve was good. The hotel is located in a good area with eating places and shopping places around.
During this time where staying health is vital important and being safe is huge. To check into a hotel where the room is not cleaned or sanitizer properly is extremely unsafe. And when I ask for a refund I was refused.
We stayed here as we evacuated from Hurricane Laura. The entire staff was super friendly, especially, Catherine! She always had a smile on her face & the staff was SUPER accommodating given that we kept extending our stay due to no power at home. They were very easy to work with & we would DEFINITELY stay here again!
The Good: We stayed in this hotel during one of their busy weekend and they still met everything we asked for during the pre-checkin. The walk-in shower was nice (with terrible water pressure ... but that seems to be common in College Station) and bathroom is clean with ample space. The room itself is pretty spacious and surprisingly the mini fridge is not stocked with "touch it and we will charge you" items ... it was empty for us to put our own stuff in. The location is great -- close to everything but stays quiet. There are plenty parking spots with good illuminations. The So-So: You get the standard COVID 19 hotel breakfast ... we ended up eating out every day. Question: if restaurants and school cafeterias can be re-opened, why can't hotels start offering real breakfast food again? Our room is mostly clean, except there are some small "crumbs" on the carpet around the bed. Maybe the housekeeper skip the bedroom area? The bed is comfortable enough. However, we can't seem to find any "normal" thickness pillows (they're all so thick, really made our necks hurt). The Bad (and REALLY bad): The AC in room 326 was SO loud whenever it kicks in and it also rattles. I ended up using earplugs and my husband took sleeping pills to get some sleep. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel ... we probably will be using this hotel again (not room 326).
My experience with BWP has been excellent. I've been here before and throughout the Covid19 pandemic and they have went above and beyond with service and practice of social distancing measures. This place is always clean, affordable pricing, and excellent customer service. The staff in whole is exceptional. I recently had my debit card hacked and while awaiting a new card Katie Paddock the general manager told me no problem we trust you. Let me reserve the week and trusted me to pay upon check out. Who does that in 2020? Best Western Plus in College Station does. I recommend this is your stay while visiting.
I stayed at the BW in College Station for a week. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool and I appreciated that they had developed and implemented a plan to enable the swimming pool to be open in this Post-COVID world. The staff was out of this world and tried to help me with whatever they could. The manager Katie Paddock has a good team and it shows by not only the care she puts toward the guests but how she cares for her team. This overall made the stay so much more enjoyable. The room was fantastic and I really enjoyed the tile standing shower. I will visit again!
When in town this is our first choice of hotels. Friendly staff, clean rooms and reasonable rates-can't be beat! I'll be glad when the hot breakfast returns-virus be gone! Right next to a Saltgrass and Walk On restaurants. Just park and walk.
The staff made us feel right at home. The amenities are great to include everything you need within a block's radius. No surprises, which is exactly how a hotel stay should be. Thank you for such excellent service to Alyssa for being so polite and helpful with all of business center questions. Also, thanks to the night manager Renee for making us feel welcome. 5 Star review hands down!
Professional, friendly, and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room! We would definitely consider staying at this hotel again! They only offered Continental Breakfast because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Continental Breakfast is not our choice, but theirs offered excellent quality for that type of meal.
Traveling for work during this crisis is not fun. The receptionist, Catherine, welcomed me with a light in her eye that help to make this trip a little less painful. She accommodated my every need and was an upstanding professional. Thanks Best Western and Catherine!
The staff is always happy the breakfast is great with many items to choose from ,rooms are always clean, for the size of the exercise room it is well set up with a weight training machine and different types of leg machines, overall my stay was great
My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the College Station location. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds are very comfortable, the place is CLEAN, well stocked and in fantastic condition. The breakfast was wonderful, they have more choices than other hotels in the same price range and the food is really good. Kuerig coffee makers in the room as well in the breakfast area made sure we had a fresh cup when we wanted it. It was a great experience and the best hotel value I think I have ever found!
We stay at this hotel most times we're in College Station. Have tried some others from time to time but always end up wishing we had stayed here. Staff is also very friendly at the front desk and at the breakfast. Alyssa helped us out at front desk this visit and was super friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is very clean and attractively decorated. We had some unexpected problems getting our television to turn on. Tom, at the front desk, tried several times to help us. He gave excellent customer service. Eventually the problem was solved. I had no complaints and would without reservation stay there again.
This Hotel met everyone of my expectations for a great hotel. We made the reservation with ease online. We needed to check in early, due to needing to be at the wedding at 3pm (normal check in time). They were very accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and the room itself was very clean. Breakfast has real eggs...NOT powdered eggs. They crack them fresh everyday.
We stayed two nights because we were moving back to our home in College Station,Tx. The bed mattress was amazing the best one in all the hotels we stayed in!! We like very firm mattress but every hotel we've stayed in is always so soft!
Room was clean and very comfortable. WiFi worked well and breakfast was very good. Close to ameneties. The bed was VERY comfortable and different sized pillows give a choice to suit you. Fridge and microwave very handy.
Rachael and Alyssa were so wonderful to my family and our fur baby Ellie Mae. They went out of their way to make sure she was taken care of while we were out at Santa's Wonderland. These ladies are a true blessing and such a delight
This Hotel is very nice From the parking lot to the rooms! The Staff was excellent very friendly, prompt and personable! Rooms are clean, great decor, and great amenities. Stayed here so we could visit Santa's Wonderland and this Hotel was just minutes up the road so has perfect location with lots of restaurants nearby!
Katy the Manager was great along with her team. She was on top of all guest services along with her team. What a friendly place. The room was clean. Breakfast was great and the location was central to all our needs.
Typically this property is a good value for College Station. This trip, I was disappointed to spend $$$ for two nights and receive no house keeping. I was able to get fresh towels brought up, but wet towels and trash not removed and tiny toiletries not restocked. I am hopeful ours was a unique experience.
I can always count on a clean room, breakfast and good business center. I was not disappointed. Besides a tasty breakfast and friendly service, the business center had new, fast technology . My only issues were the Kurig in my room was broken and the cleaning staff didn't empty the water from my ice bucket.
Hotel was not far from the stadium & was very nice & clean . Staff was very friendly! Online check in was very helpful because we knew that we would be arriving late. We will definitely stay there again!
Came into town on a business trip and got a great rate! Very easy to find and plenty of parking. I was greeted with a rewards member bag, warm smile and quick check in. The room was easily, the best I've ever stayed in with a Best Western. I am beyond impressed. Very modern, big, super clean and lots of plugs. So many great little features overall. Breakfast had fresh eggs (over easy and scrambled), biscuits and gravy, sausage and lots of other grab items. Again, I can't say enough how impressed I am with this particular Best Western. Great customer service! Great stay! Highly recommend.
I just wanted to say kudos to DeAndre Minor. He was exceptional in helping me book a reservation. He was very compassionate and understanding and went above and beyond to help me. We will 110% recommend this place to all visitors. We had heard great things about it. Needless to say, my first impression of the place was blown away by the help that DeAndre gave me. We had a difficult time making a reservation because it was a football weekend at Texas A&M. DeAndre spent time helping us locate the best price and the best room for our family. He was awesome! Gig ‘em Aggies!!
I was blown away by the service extended by Deandre (front desk) and Katie (manager) during a stressful check-in process last week. The servers went down during a rainstorm, and they were unable to retrieve reservations immediately. However, their patient, calm and accommodating service will surely bring me back soon!!
Or check in was smooth and efficient even though we arrived a little early. Kaleb was outstanding and walked us to our room to make sure it was in good shape. Cleaning folks did a great job too and greeted us in the hall. Good value for the money. Thank you Kaleb and thank you best Western!
The room was clean and quiet as was the hotel overall. For a free breakfast, it was pretty good, with variety from one day to the next. Staff was nice. Although no vending machines except for ice, drinks and snacks can be purchased at the desk.
Clean rooms, cold AC, friendly staff and quiet. Check-in and out was fast. Grocery store close. Has many fast food choices and restaurants close by to choose from. Overall great stay! We will be back!
The stay overall was great! The issue was at check-in. We arrived at 1:50pm, after a relatively long drive. I realize check in is 3pm, however the front desk clerk couldn't lift his head from the video he was watching to see if any rooms were available & we were told to come back at 245p for check in. We walked back in the hotel at 245, as he was leaving. We ended up the first in line of about 6 families. Most of whom were turned away as we were. Their system is apparently new and the poor girl left to check us in struggled with the process. She could not have been more apologetic or nicer. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Check in aside, it was a nice hotel.
Received a rate online, when arriving at the hotel, different rate. After explaining to the receiving clerk, I had the same incorrect, higher price at check out, the next morning. The clerk at exiting was trying to have me on a Government rate, where I repeatedly explained I was on a Military discounted rate, received online. The location of the hotel is away from the highway, very limited signage, one entry/exit from the parking lot, hard to navigate streets arriving to the hotel. Not staying here again.
Fabulous Best Western in perfect location for our purpose. Wonderful beds, quiet, terrific shower, great breakfast with real eggs and breakfast meats, cereals, fruit, waffles, and pastries. Very friendly breakfast staff!
Best hotel stay ever! Hotel appearance overall was up to date and well maintained. Our room was flawlessly clean and even smelled fresh! Breakfast offered all we could have asked for. In summary, I got the impression that management had intentionally brainstormed expectations of a potential customer and then delivered great quality topped off with a touch of community spirit.
Warm friendly greeting by the clerk. Clean room and comfortable bed. Hot, well stocked breakfast. You can walk to the adjacent restaurant for dinner. They have a nice pool to relax in. Internet service was also available.
This is a new hotel with great rates on non-game weekends. Close to Saltgrass Steakhouse & HEB. Free breakfast is fantastic. This is a wonderful place to stay if you're visiting south College Station. Easy access to the highway, too.
Hotel feels new, seems very clean. In a good location more to the south. Spacious room. Reasonable rate. Breakfast was ok, not great but not bad. One thing I noticed was our room door and many of the other doors like the stairway door all squeaked pretty loudly. Probably could use some lubrication to quiet things up a little. Did not use Business or Fitness areas, but both looked modern and in good shape. Vending and drinks are next to check in. Ice machines on first and 3rd floor. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Traveled last minute due to a family medical emergency. Had a little confusion at first while checking in but the manager took care of everything quickly. Love this hotel. Great location close enough but not to close.
Really enjoyed this hotel. Very clean. The breakfast was very good!!! Spacious room. Came for a softball tournament and all the fields were within 10 minutes!! The pool could of been a little bigger but my girls still had fun!!
I booked this hotel to attend the Texas Aggie graduation months in advance. My daughter developed pneumonia and we were un able to attend... After several calls to the manager and a copy of the Dr. report. they refused to cancel the room and charged me $350 for the night! Ridiculous!!!! They will never get my business again! A little heart goes a long way!
We were VERY impressed with every aspect of this property. The staff were friendly and helpful, the building clean and in good repair, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfast quite surprising for an "included" breakfast. They are even friendly to our 4 legged, fuzzy faced family member. While there is an extra charge and a deposit for our small dog (20#)both were reasonable.
The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Our home was flooded and we had to move to a hotel while it was being dried out. The rates were great, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly when we had to extend out stay two extra days. The interior was totally updated and new. It was very clean. I would recommend for any one to stay here.
This hotel is nearly new but the cleaning staff here does a poor job maintaining the property. Our bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned: urine on the toilet seat, dirty wash cloth in shower, spit/toothpaste on mirror. The room was questionable: dust on the furniture and fixtures, spots on the carpet. Even our "do not disturb" sign was dirty. Will not stay here again.
I was plesend to stay at this hotel, nice room , breackfast was good , front desk agent very nice and helpful i dont remember her name but she had an accent.I will be back at this hotel. very quiet and clean
Staff unfriendly, rude and not willing to right a wrong. Booked a specific room type and was treated unprofessionally. Not helpful or unwilling to right the situation. They were in a hurry to go behind the half wall and sit back down and collect their paycheck without bring inconvenienced or interrupter. Customers needs to be treated better than what I experienced.
great hotel. There was plenty of towels, excellent air conditioning (remember you are in Texas where it gets very hot), and very clean. The best part was the cute little adjustable lights on the headboard of the bed that could be directed where you wanted them. I do love to read in bed. Breakfast has this cute setup for K cups, the coffee maker dumps the K cup for you. Our room had a shower only but it was a very large shower with plenty of water pressure.
great place to stay. very quiet and clean. good location, even though it is away from the campus. College station is not that big, so it doesn't take much time to get any where. The prices do increase during special events, but are still reasonable.
I stayed here with my family on a sold out weekend. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and the breakfast was top notch for a free hotel breakfast. The best part about the stay though, was the friendliness of the staff. They really went out of their way to say hello and to make sure we were having a great stay. The lady in the breakfast room was fast, efficient and friendly. They all seemed to enjoy their jobs and to take them seriously. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others.
Awesome Hotel. Our room was super clean and breakfast was awesome! It was like we had our own waiter and it was free! Pillows temperpedic, extra sofa/bed. Pleanty of space. The spa was up and running in November, and we took advantage of it! The staff was very helpful also. Love the touch screen to find nearby places.
I prefer to stay at any Best Western in the area of what we have in mind. This one was pretty, ok, and fairly nice. But, it didn't seem to fit the$ rate or BW 'Plus'. We were charged $130 when the advertised price on the internet was $80. The pool is an outdoor facility-and it was COLD! The bed was hard, and the pillows were terrible, large, fluffy, bundles of nothing supportive.
I was highly impressed with my stay here! I read the reviews before booking a room. Lots of good reviews so I booked. Upon arrival the place was spotless and clean. It had to be a new building because well, it smelled new and the decor and design was modern. Staff was very friendly and professional. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The shower was large! Bigger than your standard size, decorated in modern tile and clean as a whistle. The coffee maker in the room is a keurig which I thought was cool. Now the next morning we went down to the breakfast room. Oh wow! I just wish I could eat like that every morning! They had a buffet with just about everything you could want. The area was very clean, food fresh, and they kept everything well stocked. The sausage patties were very juicy and very good. One of my favorites. You had to pour and cook your own waffles which was kind of entertaining. They are large enough to take up the whole plate and very tasty. Over all this place exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend . You can have confidence when booking a room with them, well worth the price. I look forward in coming back.
Excellent motel. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet place. Conveniently located, close to many eating establishments. Pet friendly also, but $30/night is a little steep. We didn't try the breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
B.W.Plus was great. Rooms were clean, comfortable, everything in the room worked, and staff was very friendly and helpful with local information.Very affordable rate. Breakfast was very good, hot well made eggs and sausage, along with the standard fruit and cereal. Will stay there in the future.
We were here to visit the Bush library and read the reviews. They were all correct. This place is not your average motel. Yes, the breakfasts and service are amazing. Also the rooms are suits with spacious sitting areas. Everything here was first rate for our stay.
Just finished breakfast at Best Western Plus College Station and let me say that the food was amazing but the service was outstanding! The breakfast supervisor, Brenda Juarez, went above & beyond serving us even though we showed up 20 minutes before the dining room closed, as well as making sure there was plenty of food.
Wow—just wow! Made our reservation for an overnight stay following a visit to the Bush Presidential Museum. So wonderful, wish we booked additional nights. The hotel had a brand new appearance, with upgraded design and decor. The room was extremely functional, enjoyable and quiet, with one of the most comfortable beds ever. So this is a Best Western Plus? If so, I am converting this to being a primary loyalty brand. How lucky for folks who travel to TA&M!
I was not pleased when my company booked me at this Best Western; I assumed it would be, well, like a Best Western. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was: clean, bright and modern inside. Also a surprise was the breakfast hosted by the friendly Brenda Juarez. This is the ONLY free hotel breakfast I've had where the breakfast supervisor socialized with the guests much like a B&B AND they served real eggs instead of that flavorless instant egg stuff . And Brenda opened it early just to accommodate the early-risers like us. I plan to stay here next time I'm in College Station. And I've changed my negative preconception regarding Best Westerns. At least this one.
Excellent property, very clean, large rooms. The breakfast hostess Brenda Juarez did an awesome job with fresh made eggs and bacon every AM !! The breakfast had great assortment of both hot and cold items along with pastries Will come back if in the area.
This is a nice place with friendly staff and clean, modern rooms. When I checked my credit card charges a couple days later, they added a $ 20.00 fee to my bill. I called and they said that was normal and that my bank should remove it. We have stayed in a couple of dozen different Best Westerns and never had this happen. Won't be staying in this one again.
This property is an excellent property. It appears to be a relatively new property and well managed. Convenient location with a Saltgrass restaurant next door for quick access for lunch are dinner. Everything is very clean. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast area is nice, bright, open, and the assortment of food is continuously stocked. The person working in the breakfast area does an excellent job, is courteous, friendly, and helpful.
I read all of the reviews before booking this hotel for my trip to College Station. I have to say........they were all correct. This is the cleanest, nicest, most comfortable, most reasonable hotel with the BEST breakfast for a hotel.......EVER! Brenda Juarez is the Breakfast Supervisor and she is such a sweet lady who takes pride in the breakfast she prepares & oversees. You can tell how much she loves customer service & making sure the hotel guests are happy with everything. All of the food is real........the fried eggs, scrambled eggs......REAL eggs. Sausage patties & links.......REAL. Fresh breads & bagels......two waffle irons and all the fixings......the breakfast counter & seating area are both immaculate & inviting. I can't say enough good about this hotel. For the price, it's literally the best deal in College Station. Quiet too. I love this hotel and I will definitely be back. Kudos to Brenda Juarez!
We had the breakfast at the hotel. I rate it the best Hotel Breakfast we have ever had. Everything was presented in a professional manner. The whole hotel as well as the guest rooms were very clean. We would definitely stay there again.
When we're in CS, we always try to stay at this Best Western Plus on Arrington Rd. It's always clean and the staff is so friendly. Typical College Station friendly attitude. The breakfast are the best! My husband mainly wants to stay here because of the breakfast that Brenda Juarez, the Breakfast Supervisor, fixes. She such a good cook and makes everybody in the dining room feel like it's family dining and she's your mother fixing you a good breakfast before you leave home! Way to go Brenda Juarez!
The hotel is great. Nice clean hotel, helpful staff and a great breakfast. Brenda Juarez is the breakfast cook and she is not only a good cook, she is very friendly. We make regular trips to College Station and this is my favorite place to stay.
This was our 2nd time to stay here. Always clean, spacious, conveniently located. Traveling as a family, we have felt very safe staying here. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast supervisor, Brenda Juarez, by far makes this the best place to stay! She rocks it! She was working alone in a slammed and demanding dining room. She was so sweet and kind even though she was so busy! Room full of young children making messes and being loud. Didn't phase her for a moment! She is a rock star! We will definitely be back next year!!!
From the moment we arrived we were impressed. New facility with nice lobby and breakfast area. Room was great. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Did not use workout room but upon inspection was impressed with cleanliness and number of workout machines.
The hotel was great. Roomy rooms, ample pillows, comfy beds, but the best thing about it was the free breakfast. Good food, good variety: two kinds of eggs, two kinds of sausages. Gluten free choices and really good service. Brenda Juarez, the Breakfast Supervisor, was the only one on duty by the time we got there, but she was amazing. Fast and efficient and so delightful and friendly. She was smiling every time I looked at her. Her kind of work ethic is a joy to see, and the hotel is lucky to have her. We'll stay at this Best Western Plus next time we're in College Station. Thanks!
Best hotel for Santa's Wonderland in College Station. You won't be disappointed. We loved it. The rooms were huge, clean and the bed comfortable. the breakfast was great! Loved the service. Very helpful
We spent one night on a visit to College Station. This place came recommended from friends and we are glad we listened to them. The rooms were updated, clean and very comfortable. We didn't wake in time to have the breakfast, but we happy to have that option. This is a great place to stay if you are coming in for game or college visit!
Nice room and facilities but they gouge you with the price and two night minimum during football weekends. I understand high demand and economics, but justifying an over 300% increase from normal rates? I've paid less per night for a beach condo in Grand Cayman!!! C'mon man!!!!
We like the convenience of it and easy access. Don't like the price raising duing football season but we guess all the hotels do that so it is what it is. Friendly staff. Always clean and in good repair. Newspapers available.
This hotel is new and very nice for the money. Our king suite was perfect right down to the Keurig coffee maker. It is handy to the hiway but far enough off to be away from traffic noise. There was a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is an excellent breakfast, thanks to Brenda, and if you leave hungry, it's your fault!
I have traveled all over the place over the years, But I have to say that Brenda In charge of the complimentary Breakfast is By far the Best I have ever seen. She must have seen me looking around confused trying to fiqure out where everything was at and she helped me make coffee and find everything i needed. i Just want to say thanks to everyone at the hotel.
We had a really great stay at this hotel, partly because it was new, clean and service was excellent! The breakfast lady, Brenda, was an amazing employee and made sure all guests had what they needed and was so friendly. We stay at a lot of hotels for mountain biking racing and I've never seen an employee go above and beyond like she did. You could tell she really took pride in her work, which can be rare these days! We saw TxDot guys who'd been staying there come in to say goodbye, she helped a little girl fix toast to take back to her mom, helped kids whose parents weren't paying attention make waffle and was just so friendly and helpful. Loved that they serve real eggs, which Brenda pointed out. The only criticism we'd have was the pillows were kind of soggy, but the room/beds were very nice.
Good location. Easy access to Hwy 6. H-E-B right down the street for grocery needs. Dining selections varied, but plenty of options 8-10 minutes away. Front Parking limited. May stay there again next year
We were in town for a family wedding. This hotel was extremely accommodating and friendly. They offer handicap rooms and have excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this Best Western for your family.
We went for a 3 day conference. On the first night we returned to find our room not cleaned and the desk staff attitude was flippant. Other than this the facility itself was very nice and the breakfast and breakfast staff excellent.
Truly the only problem that I had was the very low water pressure in the shower. I told the front desk about it. she was very friendly and came to our room to check. She also checked with one of the housekeepers while she was cleaning a room across the hall. said it was the same and that was the end of that. She said that she placed a call to maintance but with it being the weekend, she didn't know if they would responed
Thought that the price would mean an older place and basic room with limited breakfast. Surprise. The place is only 3 years old, rooms are clean and good size and breakfast is better than most. Will be my standard place to stay when visiting CS.
I have stayed at this Best Western MANY times in the past year, and typically have been pleased with my stay (aside from mold around the bathroom vents in different rooms within the hotel). However, after what took place on my last visit, I will NOT be returning. At check-in (11:15ish pm), I notified the clerk that I had a travel credit (basically $20 rewards coupon) and asked if she needed it at that moment or in the morning at checked out. She said either way so we opted to wait. Also, the room I reserved was pet friendly as we were traveling with our 2 small (short-haired) dogs. Prior to booking, I reviewed the pet policy to make sure it had not changed, which even today, two weeks later, still states the same. Taken directly from their website: "We are pet friendly and allow up to two dogs in a rented room... The pet friendly rate is $30 per day with a $150 per week maximum." In the morning at check out, the clerk told me I could not use my coupon because my charge had already gone through "night audit," and she insisted that she couldn't change it. When I explained what the night clerk told me, she said, "Sorry, I can't change it. There's nothing that I can do." Then I looked at the charges and saw I was charged $60 plus taxes for two pet fees (nearly what just a room costs for one night). When I disputed the charge with the clerk (and even with the mgr. over the phone), they both told me the pet fee was PER pet and that their website "was wrong" and "the website needs to be updated and we've tried to have it corrected." I told them their charges were NOT in line with what was advertised on their website--false advertisement--and they should not be charging the "correct" amount if their website states the "wrong" rate. After several minutes of bantering back and forth, the manager finally agreed to refund the additional pet fee (and I also had to insist she reimburse the taxes as well because she didn't want to...). The mgr. also issued a credit for $20 for the travel card coupon that I hadn't been allowed to use. I also told the mgr that I didn't mind paying a reasonable pet fee, but did not understand how they thought they could get away with charging someone $60 for two small, short-haired dogs, especially when The Aloft charges NOTHING for pets... Her reply was, "We don't keep up with what other hotels in the area are doing." I suggested that they should; that there are plenty of hotels in College Station that are pet friendly; and, that we will be staying at them from here on out. I also informed the mgr that I would be writing this review to forewarn other travelers.
We usually stay here as a family because the rooms are clean and affordable and while it is not close to the campus it really doesn't matter because the campus has parking if you need it. The breakfast is like you are visiting a friend and it is extremely friendly and clean and tasty. As far as I can tell they don't put air freshener in the rooms which is great because I'm allergic to that. Front desk flexible and friendly. Brenda Juarez who supervises breakfast is a joy.
This Plus Hotel is staffed with great customer service focused people. My stay here was a pleasure. Great location, super spotless rooms and lobby and a hot breakfast with choices was a bonus. The breakfast area is airy and big. The breakfast staff was great.
Front desk lady, Dianne, was polite and professional. She was able to help me out with local directions and some good places to visit during my short week-long stay. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who enjoys getting the best product or service for their money.
I had an excellent few days at this facility, the staff was great, and the young lady dianne at the front was very polite and helpful. she ensured i was taken care of. would definetly come back the next time i pass through college station.
it was really nice staying got all the best service dianne hutson was the bezt at helping me get everything i needed nd answer all my question definently will b returning. dianne hutson has great customer servise as well she needs a raise!
I visit College Station often and usually stay closer to the center of town. I decided to try this Best Western Plus to take advantage of a gift card offer. I was not disappointed. Being somewhat new, the hotel has a modern appearance with spacious and comfortable rooms. My only issue was that the bed was very high (more than usual) so it was a climb to get in bed. I also felt rushed at breakfast. Although I got food and sat down to eat before the designated end-time for breakfast, the staff began cleaning and vacuuming around me 10 minutes later and asked me to leave. I would have appreciated a more relaxed way to end breakfast. The location of the hotel along the southbound of the highway also meant a U-turn on the highway going into town. I understand now though, that back ways are possible without getting on the highway. Overall, it was a good stay and I would consider Best Western Plus again in the future.
This is a nice and clean hotel in the not so crowded part of the city. Staff was very pleasant, especial Brenda, the breakfast supervisor. Brenda is very friendly, and tries to make everyone feel right at home. Best breakfast I've had at a BW. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows. I look forward to staying here again when I come for football games or to visit my daughter.
Nieces and nephews keep graduating, so we keep coming back! We always stay at this BW, primarily because it's a nice hotel with great staff, but also so we can slip around College Station the back way and avoid the melee around the university. Plus, we get to see the delightful Yazayra Figueroa (who has been promoted to Assistant Manager)! If you're having a bad day, she'll make it better!
We were pleased with the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the fresh breakfast and Brenda, the breakfast supervisor was such a pleasure. She provided a friendly start to our morning as well as great food.
We arrived at this hotel tired and out of sorts as our reservation at the BW Premier in Bryan was not honored and we were relocated here. The management team, Brent Toups and Yazayra Figueroa, were wonderful. They were able to assure us that we would be glad to have been relocated to their property and boy, were they correct. The property looked great, was quiet, and had lovely amenities. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was delightful and well maintained. Should we be in the area again, we will choose this Best Western.
We stayed two nights and while we were here everyone was amazing, rooms were clean and breakfast was AMAZING! Brenda the kitchen supervisor made sure everyone was ok, and made sure the food was was always filled. Did I mention the breakfast was AMAZING. Thank you,Brenda for the home away from home cooking and being personable.
We were in town for the Games of Texas track and field competition. This hotel was conveniently located near CSHS. Friendly staff and great breakfast! Very clean rooms and comfortable beds! We will stay here again next year... if we make state again.
Knowledgeable, hardworking, and accommodating staff. During our four night stay, Brenda Juarez (Breakfast Supervisor) served up a consistently amazing breakfast. We arrived one day earlier than our scheduled reservation date. The check-in staff, hustled to accommodate our oversight.
Stayed at the Best Western Plus College Station for a week while attending fire school. From the day we checked in to the time we left we had great service and a good time! Sonja, the front desk attendant for the majority of our stay, was very pleasant and outgoing, she even helped us play a prank on some of our other guys that showed up later!
We we're greeted with a very friendly staff and the room was very clean & comfortable! Morning was the highlight of our day because of the wonderful breakfast!! Brenda Juarez did a great job preparing breakfast and getting to know everyone!! We will be searching out Best Western PLUS as we travel from now on!!
This hotel was very clean. Rooms clean NICE BIG SHOWER —Good Breakfast. And Staff was very friendly . Took care of needs. Totally recommend this hotel to everyone. It's got a great location as well . Food places very close H-E-B close as well has washer and dryer ,workout room, and pool.
The stay here was fantastic! No other words to describe it, awesome indeed. Our room with King bed had a work desk, a two seater sofa and a single seater sofa. I stayed here for a week and throughout the time, I was working so WiFi connectivity was something I was particular about and the hotel had uninterrupted and good speed WiFi connectivity. The daily breakfast had a wide selection of items including sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, muffins, breads, cereals and juices. There is a Keurig coffee machine inside the room and near the lobby so the coffee glut in me was quite pleased throughout the stay. There is an H.E.B store nearby for any necessary purchases, a steakhouse restaurant right opposite the restaurant. The front desk staff was extremely pleasant and courteous and more often than not, I got whatever toiletries or stuff that I needed. The people at the front desk, were always smiling. While that is a minor point, it is indeed something pleasant to start your day! I used the business center to take some printouts and the laundry facility too. The only slight glitch is that this facility is a little further from Texas A&M University Campus and downtown College Station area, it is probably a 15 minute drive. But without a doubt, I'll stay here again if I need a place to stay in College Station!
I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. The customer service was beyond compare. Also, the front desk agent, Diane Hutson was very helpful in assisting me and my family with any needs or requests. She is a very upstanding employee and deserves recognition. Thank you for providing me with such a splendid stay, I really enjoyed myself.
Wow! Great place to stay. Reasonable prices, great rooms polite staff. I mean GREAT rooms! Plenty of parking in front and behind the building. Next to a great restaurant, you can just walk. Very near several fast food restaurants and a large grocery store. Ms Juarez does a fantastic job on breakfast. I'm in and out of BCS year, I'll be staying here from now on.
There were several hotels closer to Kyle Field but based on the reviews and cost we chose the BW Plus. We were not disappointed, the property is in a great location and extremely clean with some very enthusiastic employees!!! We have already let them know we would be coming back!
We were in town to order my daughter's Aggie ring. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast supervisor Brenda Juarez did a great job with breakfast - she was very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay again. Thank you
We were only in town for one night for a wedding. Angelica greeted us at the front desk and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. About 10 minutes after we got settled in our room, the phone rang and it was Angelica, making sure we were happy with our room and everything was okay - nice touch. The room was comfortable, the refrigerator was nice and cold, the air conditioning was adequate, the breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly.
Very Nice and clean. Brenda and Angelica were very helpful! The rooms were neat and clean. The dinning area was clean and the breakfast was amazing! The front desk staff was very nice, pleasant and helpful. The staff who cleaned our room was very nice also.
Booked a couple of nights here because we were attending a wedding in the area. Angelica welcomed us and helped us get settled. The next day we had missed breakfast by 10 minutes and the staff still let us grab some food to go. Now that is awesome in my opinion. I have a 10 year old and she is so picky so I am glad they allowed us to grab some food. Staff really friendly and helpful. We booked a King size with a sofa bed. Was comfy and the bathroom was beautiful, I liked the stand up shower design, felt like a spa.Highly recommend this location.
ALL the staff that I encountered were helpful and friendly; from those at check-in, to the breakfast staff, to those who had been cleaning and carrying trash bags - all were friendly and some went out of their way to talk to me. Room was great; nice shower; wonderful breakfast.
The reviews for this property are pretty spot on!. The rooms are great. They're large, clean, and easy to keep cool on a hot day. The pool was great, clean and big enough for a medium size group to swim. The staff, like front desk attendant Angelica, was friendly, easy to talk to, and fast to answer questions and address issues. The breakfast was spectacular! The spread was huge and included eggs, meats, pastries, yogurt, and Texas waffles, and the Breakfast Supervisor, Brenda Juarez, was so friendly and attentive every morning we were there, great for our group of High School athletes. Aside from that, some things future guests should know, all of our rooms had showers instead of tubs and instead of a second bed in the room, there was a pull-out sofa for extra sleepers. Additionally, it was hard to get the fridge temperature exactly right, drinks were either frozen or too warm. The elevator is slow, we took the stairs lots. We also had to travel to the A&M campus about 15 minutes on all routes, which might be a problem for some people when school is in and traffic is heavier. For us it was a great visit, and we'll be back again when we're in that neck of the woods!
While traveling around Texas with some friends we landed in College Station for an evening. Well kept ground, great room and a very reasonable price. When I checked out I forgot a bag in the motel and they found it! I called UPS and issued a call tag to pickup my bag. After some confusion and aggravation from UPS they finally sent a driver to pick it up and BAILEY, the front desk clerk, went WAY above and beyond her job description to insure that my package was packed and shipped properly. Thank you BAILEY for the exceptional service I've learned to expect from Best Western properties!!
Hands down BEST hotel of their chain in all 11 western states. Baily, Teresa and Brenda are worth their weight in gold. Super clean, fresh eggs, and the best service I've ever experienced with BW. Brought the kiddos this trip & this is where I'll stay from now on. Thank you Baily, Teresa and Brenda, you truely did win this Veterans Rep over????. -Jason W.
I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in College Station to attend the funeral of my brother. My brain was not at its sharpest and the very modern breakfast area had some things that were confusing for me. I couldn't figure out how to use the keurig style coffee maker. A very kind young woman named Jamacia helped me out with that and later helped me find a fork, spoon and knife. When I asked how to submit her name for being so kind to me she brought me a card with her name already written on it. This young woman was very kind and helpful to me during a very difficult time in my life. I think I will always remember her smile and gentle voice. Please give her a big fat raise.
At first my stay was not going well and when i called to voice my concerns they were promptly attended to.The GM Yasa(Im sure I spelled that wrong) was great! She corrected what was wrong and made sure we were comfortable. All employees were eagar to assist Angelica,Juanita both had great customer service. Whenever I am in this area again this is where I will stay
We recently stayed overnight at the College Station Best Western Plus. The room rate was reasonable, the staff friendly and the accommodation clean and adequate in every way. Our stay included breakfast. We don't normally like
Great hotel. Free breakfast..good coffee and many different foods to choose from, wide variety. Nice rooms, clean and comfy. Close to family member's home for after wedding get together. Price was average for a nice hotel..not cheap but not outrageous.
Located on southbound Hwy 6 feeder road on the south side of town, this relatively new hotel is a 15 minute drive to A&M central campus. We enjoyed a one night stay while attending a conference at the Student Rec Center. There is an outdoor pool and fitness room with minimum equipment, but adequate. Our room with 2 queens was good size, clean and beds very comfortable. We were on the ground floor and did not hear any noise from adjacent rooms or from upstairs. Front desk and catering staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast included omelets and scrambled eggs made from real eggs and real bacon, not cardboard strips. The hotel is located next door to Saltgrass Steak House, where we enjoyed a nice lunch and dinner.
When i travel to this area to work it is the best place for value in this part of town. The staff is very helpful for all your needs whether hotel or area related. Had a problem with some travel plans and there was no issue for late checkout!
A nice hotel, though a bit difficult to get to depending on the direction you're coming from. Saltgrass Steakhouse right next door, and a shopping center with an HEB just up the road a short way. Close to the Museum of the American GI and the Speedway.
When I entered my room, I made a beeline for the bathroom and found old vomit in the toilet and then, when inspecting the beds, found one bed that had dirty sheets. Blankets had been pulled up very nicely and pillows were fluffed, but I can state w/o hesitation that the sheets had not been changed. This is likely the result of one bad housekeeper, but nonetheless, I will likely not stay at a Best Western again.
Whenever I stay in college station for a business trip, this is the place I go to. Very quiet place, and everything is clean. Rooms look great and the beds are comfortable. My stay comes with complementary wifi and breakfast.
The hotel is clean, modern, has a solid breakfast, and is well maintained. The place offers a lot for the price. It's a great value. Right across the street is a Saltgrass Steakhouse so you don't need to drive to go grab dinner. Above all of that, I'll remember this hotel because the staff goes out of their way to be friendly and courteous. Good ole fashion hospitality is part of their goal and you can tell. From Angelica and Sonja at the front desk to the maintenance guy in the hall and the breakfast lady in mornings- all friendly; all making eye contact; all offering up a smile; all saying “hi.” Every time I passed the front desk I got a “hi” or a “how's your stay?”
If you are looking for a clean hotel with great breakfast this is the spot. The breakfast is better than most 5 rated hotels when Brenda is working. The location is convenient to Texas A&M and above average friendly staff.
I like this place. I've stayed there twice and will again. The location is good for getting around without dealing with campus traffic. There is food nearby and a grocery store and a great Golds Gym for a workout the bed was nice, room clean and I had a pleasant sitting area to relax.
We enjoyed our stay and felt welcomed by the staff. Our check-in process was smooth, and the staff was helpful. Thank you Best Western Plus for "going the extra mile" to make people feel comfortable and relaxed.
This best western is right off the highway and about 15 minutes away from the stadium. From the young lady who checked me in to the lady chef who cooked breakfast they had great attitudes in answering and helping you. They served real real real eggs and real juice not the concentrated kind. I could not eat the sausage nor bacon for it was pork. I was able to find something to eat so you should be able to as well. (I hope) Chic fil a is not far either. I will recommend this hotel. Salt grass is 4 hops and 10 skips away from the building. They do have a standard college fridge. HEB is car distance not even a mile.
I stayed here during a two-day business meeting. The grounds, public areas and rooms were all very clean. Although located adjacent to Highway 6, the rooms were quiet. The staff was professional and friendly. Our meeting coordinator also complimented them for their service. This would be a good hotel for anyone attending events at Texas A&M or in the College Station\\Bryan area,
Spent 3 nights. Rooms were very clean, comfortable bed. Well maintained public areas. Helpful staff especially Brenda J in breakfast buffet. Good, fresh, hot breakfast. Definitely will stay here again!
We were in college station over the weekend for an event and stayed at BW Plus. Staff was friendly, and the room was clean. Great breakfast prepared and served by very nice lady named Brenda Juarez. Will stay there next time I am in the area.
Stayed at Best Western for BCS Marathon and to see Santa's Wonderland. Perfect location for those. Hotel is very new and super clean. Breakfast is amazing. Staff very helpful. Breakfast had scrambled eggs and fried eggs plus all other breakfast buffet items.
Arrived at hotel , very nice , checked in, honored my early check in request. When we go to our room , it already had someone stuff in the room. A housekeeper in hallway near us came up and said she could help us. She radioed down to desk, got us a different room and let us in . We only had to stop by desk as we went down stairs later. This was really appreciated. Our room was very comfortable. Everything was super nice. Breakfast was very good. Lots of options.
We loved every bit of our stay down there especially this hotel! It was clean.. which is a plus in my book and the staff extra friendly extra nice and so helpful! The breakfast was great! We will be back definitely!! Oh and we didn't know they had a package for Santa's Wonderland I'd so I would have gotten it! But oh well next time!!
Great hotel that was very clean and modern. The price was right and well worth it The location also factor and was it great for our visit with my kiddos. The breakfast was satisfying and it was a great way to start the day.
Clean & super nice rooms. Full breakfast is worth bunches in our book, free breakfast goes a long way for this family. 2nd stay here in the last few months. Convenient location close enough to town yet far enough out u r out of all the extra traffic.
We were impressed with the quality and size of our hotel room. The bathroom had a large, modern walk-in shower with oversized good quality towels. We had a microwave and small fridge to store snacks. The king sized bed was comfortable, but I am bewildered by the smallish, cheap quality pillows. A king sized bed should have king-sized pillows. Housekeeping was very responsive when we called down to get linens for our sofa bed - they were at our door within minutes. The breakfast in the morning is ample, if standard free breakfast fare. The dining area was very clean, though, and the breakfast staff was friendly and busy keeping the eggs and bacon coming. There is a good steakhouse next door to the hotel, but otherwise you will have to drive a short way to get a variety of dining options. We would highly recommend this hotel, and based on our experience at this location, I am more likely to try BW+ for future travels.
Hotel is very clean and quiet. Staff has always been very pleasant. Rooms always look clean and I like the modern feel to them just wish they had better/more lighting and more space for luggage. Beds are comfortable--so comfortable I don't want to get up in the mornings. This hotel is away from the main hub of College Station, which is great if you want to avoid crowds and traffic, but can also be a negative if you need to get to Texas A&M campus--about a 15 minute drive without traffic.
The location is 4 miles from TAMU. Hotel common areas are clean and inviting. The sleeping room is spacious. Bathroom updates. Relaxing environment that includes fridge and Keurig. The breakfast items were great. Lots of options. The staff in the breakfast area were fantastic both mornings. Friendly. Accommodating. Spoke with the guests and thanked us for being there. Exceptional customer service by the morning staff.
Before this summer I hadn't stayed at a Best Western in years and wasn't too excited about the chain that I remembered. Best Western Plus is a great improvement. This property exceeded all my expectations. We visited the area because we were picking our dog up from a dog show. I wasn't planning on having my dog with me in the room. Plans changed so I called the hotel to see about a dog friendly room. They happily accommodated me. The room was very clean. I don't expect a dog friendly room to be super clean, but it was. The towels were large and fluffy. The beds were comfortable. I would suggest bringing your own pillow if you're picky about that. I would have liked to have mine, but it wasn't a big deal. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. The lady who worked in the breakfast room was especially friendly and made sure we had everything we needed at breakfast. Breakfast choices were good. No complaints at all. I will be adding Best Western Plus to my list of favorites.
The hotel is clean and modern and comfortable. The free breakfast is especially nice because it has real scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles served hot and efficiently. The breakfast attendant, Brenda Juarez, is so friendly, helpful and attentive. She makes sure that the breakfast area is ready, she greets you, and she will even pick up dishes. She made our stay enjoyable this year and last year and we look forward to many more stays. Brenda is enthusiastic and obviously takes pride in her customer service. She deserves to be recognized.
I have stayed in College Station for business many times. This was the best location in the price range so far. I'll be staying here on future trips. Very easy to find, extremely clean and close to good dinner options.
Our company didn't quite have the reservation right and the desk attendant went out of her way to get it all squared away. Plus the breakfast chef, Ms. Juarez was a joy to be around first thing in the AM.
I felt bad for our front desk clerk in the morning. she was the clerk working when we checked in friday night at 9m, and she was still the clerk working the next morning and afternoon. she looked exhausted but still did her job.
I'm on the road to visit clients several times a month and my only complain about this BW was the really bad pillows. They were no better than "spin lumpy fiber". Come on would you buy these to sleep on or buy them for your house guests? Too may quality, cheaply priced available pillows on the market to have supplied these.
I always stay at this hotel when traveling to the Bryan-College Station area. This trip was special as we were looking for a home in the area. As always, the staff was friendly and outgoing. The rooms are super clean and modern. Very quiet and convenient to local activities. Will continue to tell our friends and family to stay here. Very pet friendly as well. My service dog loves this place.
Nice hotel with a Tesla Charging Station! Large parking lot, good breakfast, friendly staff. Close location to Texas A&M. If you travel in an electric vehicle (Tesla or otherwise), this is a great place to stop for the night!
Recently, we stayed at the Best Western Plus necessitated by a family medical emergency. This is a new, clean modern hotel easily accessible off the highway and close to Baylor Scoot & White. Booking was simple. The staff was gracious and friendly. The hotel is pet friendly as well. I stay at hotels (other chains) that offer free breakfast, but this was a cut above. Good food, coffee (Keurig), juices, and variety of hot choices, including delicious waffles. Brenda made our breakfast dining so enjoyable. She really knows hospitable service and even went above and beyond by making delicious bacon and offering to-go containers, so we were able to take food to the hospital. Moneshia expedited our check-out very quickly. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting family, on business, A&M or Baylor Scott & White.
This location of Best Western Plus exceeded my expectations. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast made the stay here superb.
Selection was made due to proximity to training facility ---not usually the best criteria but was pleasantly surprised accommodations were great! Fantastic crew for all our needs --comfortable bed, large shower and quiet. A specific shout out to my breakfast companion every morning Brenda Juarez breakfast supervisor---she prepares in my opinion the 'BEST' breakfast of eggs and BACON --- unquestionably the best prepared i have ever had, buffet style.
Needed a place to stay at the last minute & this place did not disappoint. Parking was a breeze for my truck & trailer. Room was clean & spacious. Everything loooked brand new & loved the bath & body works toiletries. Bed was comfy & cool next to the air conditioning. Breakfast was also veey surprising. So much selection including waffles, pastries, yogurt, parfaits, 4 types of juice & 2 big keurigs with good coffee choices. Excellent place, especially for the price. Should I ever be back in the area, will definitely stay again.
My husband and I are from Schulenburg Texas. We stayed Friday thru Sunday . We haven't been to a hotel in more than 10 years. The staff were all amazing. The room was perfect. The complimentary breakfast was beyond our expectations. The Breakfast Super visor BRENDA JUAREZ was the sweetest most professional lady with a kind smile and awesome attitude! The food was delicious!!! The overall stay was great! Be very proud of your employees! Thank you!
This is the 3rd time I have stayed here. Such a great place to stay. I stayed 3 nights while my daughter moved in to start college. Great people at front desk, and Brenda in the breakfast room is always so sweet. Rooms are clean and well stocked every day. Will most assuredly keep staying here. Little outside of town but well worth the little drive south on 6 in a very quiet area of CS. Restaurants are close by so you do not have to drive back into town.
We were very happy with the entire experience, and the hotel was wonderful. The only hiccup we had was my fault. I left a $50 bill and my shoes in the room. Both were recovered, and this was extremely rare. I have had many left items at other hotels never be found. Somehow or another, most other hotels have "never seen" my lost items. Thank you for your wonderful integrity and helpfulness!
My family and I stayed here for 4 nights in April for Easter and to visit A&M. The entire hotel still looked new. Our room was very clean and the breakfast was good. Easy to get to with several restaurants near by. Highly recommend!
Do not use Trip Advisor to make reservations. You will have no hassels if you call the hotel direct. There is no way to make contact with ANYONE Trip Advisor. If you think you are gonna get that bonus for using them for a reservation good luck. I never got mine.
The hotel service was excellent, the public areas and the rooms were pleasant and clean, and the breakfast was decent with a good choice of foods. It is a bit further from the Texas A&M campus than some other hotels, but the drive was easy and only took a few minutes. There were good restaurants nearby as well as an HEB. Definitely a hotel of choice for me if I return to College Station.
Liked the modern look very much. They had very clean rooms and the rooms were tastefully arranged in decor. Within walking distance from a great restaurant and bar. great breakfast. comfortable bed and nice shower.
Great stay at this hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting A&M. Breakfast was the best we've had in a long time. Lots of variety. Rooms were spacious and clean, the hotel is quite new. The keurig in each room is highly appreciated. Bring your own Kcups if you want anything other than light roast! All of the staff were friendly and professional, no complaints at all!
Good place, quiet location, easy access to Hwy 6. Nice people working there, clean rooms new building, nice rooms. Beds are comfortable , AC works great. Fitness room was nice, pool looked nice. Good all around place to stay you won't be disappointed.
We had 2 rooms for one night for a family party we were attending in College Station. This hotel was wonderful. Very Clean, spacious and comfortable. Beds with lots of pillows excellent. The breakfast was very good with hot cooked items and varied. Staff at the hotel were Texas polite and friendly.
I recently stayed here for a conference and the staff was warm and friendly, they have great amenities and were very attentive to anything I needed. Pool was nice and the laundry facilities were clean, the breakfast was very good and everything was fresh, breakfast server Brenda was Outstanding, very helpful to all of our crew staying here. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and great facilities. I will definitely stay here next time I am in town. Keep up the great customer service.
Everything was nice and fresh entering the hotel. A very nice lobby. The room was very good with plenty of sitting spaces. Breakfast room was nice a clean. There were several hot items to eat. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs with link sausage.
Plenty of parking. Including 2 chargers for electric cars. Breakfast was OK, included real eggs (not powdered) . Wifi worked well. Rooms were clean and modern. A/C was a little cold when it cycled on. Elevator was very slow.
The hotel is fairly new and very clean and quiet. It's near a few restaurants (walking distance to a Saltgrass Steakhouse). The complimentary breakfast include cereals, breads, make your own breakfast sandwich station and a waffle station. The room was a nice size, the mattress was comfortable.
Right off the highway. Within minutes to TAMU. Fresh new look on outside and the inside looked the same. The interior was impressive. Room was adequate equipped. Breakfast selection was really good for a hotel.
Booked a handicapped room with a roll-in shower at least a week or more in advance of our trip only to arrive & find someone had given the room away "by mistake." Ended up taking 30 minutes to find some other room that did not meet our needs but all we could get.
Newer hotel, swimming pool is outdoors and very warm. A larger pool would have been nice but not needed. The staff is excellent, very helpful friendly and curtious. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast in the morning was good quality.
The breakfast is amazing both in variety and quality. Brenda is an outstanding asset to the place. Rooms are generally in wonderful shape. This time one of the rooms needed better cleaning in the bathroom and the fridge was dirty with previous occupants' food items.
Rooom was nice and roomy, Staff was very nice, check in/out was easy. Great stay. Breakfast was better than expected. Bacon, sausage, waffles, breads, muffins, yogurt, juices. Bathroom was roomy to accomdate 3 ladies.
New hotel, the rooms are beautiful, walk in showers a plus, very comfortable beds, not the usual hard ones you find in most $100-$125/ night hotels. Breakfast was very good, and rate was reasonable. Added conveniences: a 1 cup Kuerig coffee maker & refrigerator. Hopefully we will find more Best Western Plus hotels for our future travels.
Great Stay! Very modern and clean and Brenda, your chef, was outstanding and so personable! Her cooking is top notch, as close to homemade as you can get and she really cares about taking care of all the guests!
My room was next to maintenance room which had some problems and had an alarm beeping for two nights. They did not care and offered only to give me some reward points. Beautiful hotel but terrible customer service and sleep!
I was here to vet daughter set up from A&M Orientation ,Both ladies in the breakfast room was amazing.Hotel is very clean ,had a great stay. Now the front desk check Gal Anegela was was on top of her job, over heard her going out of her way to help other customers here with stuff they needed and what and where to go in College Station,I really did need anything but I just was drawn to talk to her,she advised my family to try Newks pizza, and a good place to park.
My son and I stayed at this hotel for 5 days while he attended soccer camp. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was kept very clean despite the amount of traffic that was in and out. The breakfast was wonderful and the food was very good. I was told they crack the eggs every morning, they don't use the powdered eggs! We spent every day at the pool and the pool was always clean. We had a great stay and will definitely stay there again next year.
Warm and welcoming staff. Hotel is clean, well lit, beds are comfortable. Breakfast has a large selection and great quality. Internet service was fast. This is my favorite hotel to stay at when on the road.
I couldn't believe that the suite was more luxurious and hi-tech than the Marriott Hotel I stayed at the previous days. The bathroom seemed like a high-end spa, and the shower was very stylish in design and function. There were an abundance of USB and power outlets, which make my stay more productive.
I travel a bit for business and always look forward to staying at this particular Best Western. The staff is outstanding. The property and rooms are always immaculate. Everything always works and smells great. I have not had time to eat the breakfast, but the coffee is good!
The staff was very friendly, quick check in and check out. The room was nice and the beds were wonderful. The free breakfast was nice, eggs, sausage, waffles. Right off of hwy 6 so it was a great location right in front of Saltgrass!
We appreciate the clean, friendly facility. We have stayed several times as we attend events at Texas A&M University. It is quiet, comfortable for our stay in College Station. We enjoyed our Breakfast each morning that was ready and waiting for us, thanks to Brenda for her smile and assistance by having the breakfast bar well stocked and ready to go!
Newer Hotel with modern décor and furniture. Comfortable. The service was good. Friendly staff, helpful and courteous. Good breakfast with good service. Had trouble with Wi Fi. Rooms could have been cleaner as there was dust on tables, behind TV and cobwebs behind chest of drawers. Though I had made reservations for room with two queen beds. Got room with one king and fold out couch. Overall it was OK experience.
This pet friendly hotel is a great place to stay in College Station. It's a good value in a convenient location. The hotel is super clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Even though they were full due to a lot of things going on around town for the weekend (youth baseball tournaments, etc.), we weren't at all disturbed with any noise or anything, so I would say the building is also very well constructed. I would highly recommend this hotel.
I had another great stay with BW+!! Perfect selection for everyone for breakfast, nice pool and gym. Comfy beds and perfect pillows, the rooms are quiet even though there were a lot of guests. We will only stay with y'all!
Great experience checking in, room super clean and nice, close to restaurants, and close to entertainment venues. Complimentary breakfast each morning was good. Room was comfy and cozy for an overnight stay. Overall great hotel.
Went for a wedding. This was the hotel they had chosen to book a block of rooms at. We got it at a slightly discounted rate and we're please with our stay. Nice rooms, comfy bed. No bath though, only showers.
Exceptional experience in this hotel we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the comfortable and accommodating stay. you too will enjoy the experience be it business or pleasure, we were not disappointed.
Check in was a breeze. The room was clean and modern. Beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a handicapped accessible tub. The handheld shower had an extra-long flexible hose. For breakfast, the Keurig coffee maker provided fresh coffee, there was a yogurt machine with available toppings and a waffle maker. Also available were eggs, sausage, toast and muffins. One thing that I didn't like was the way milk was served. The pitchers were not obviously labeled and you were never quite sure which milk (soy, whole or 2%) you were actually getting until you tasted it. The outdoors was neat and vey well lit. There were plenty of parking spaces.
Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted with a friendly hello. The front entrance and lobby were clean and well lit (as we arrived at 11:00 p.m.). Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a nice selection for breakfast the next morning. The waffles were quite yummy! The hotel is pet friendly and there is plenty of grass outside to walk your pet. The bathroom was quite roomy which is always nice and there is a Kureig Coffee maker in the room which is so convenient! I would stay at this hotel again.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. All of the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. Check-in and out were smooth and quick. The room was spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with many different options. The hotel provided a nice crib for our baby when we realized we forgot our pack and play and it worked perfectly. We would highly recommend this hotel.
Very nice. A/C was awesome! The breakfast had lots of good choices. Would definitely stay there again. Location was great and easy to get in and out. Shower was great. Nice and quiet. Good rate. Very clean.
The room was probably one of the nicest Best Western rooms I have ever booked. It was a cut above most BW's. I mean we really enjoyed this room. Super comfortable king size bed with a huge room, walk in shower. Next to a Salt Grass, nice. Very clean room. Large breakfast room with good choices.
Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. It seems like a brand new hotel. We had to go to a wedding in College Station and we were just hoping to find something near by so we booked the Best Western Plus and we're glad we did. Also there are many food options near the hotel.
Every aspect of stay went smoothly. Easy for traffic, but away from noisiest area of city. Fine location for big family visit to the pleasant southern and southwest home areas of College Station. Traffic flow is easy to get to anywhere on campus or other local facilities. Excellent and friendly service from staff, good variety of favorite breakfast food. Kudos to Jamacia and Amanda who assisted us.
I visited College Station to attend my niece's graduation from TAMU (Whoop!) and was extremely impressed with the staff at this Best Western! I stay at Best Western since I know the rooms are clean and well-appointed, but the service at this location was over the moon! We were juggling multiple rooms and had some gift cards, so the check-in process was not simple. Yazi never batted an eye and smiled through the entire process. She even gave us printed directions to get to the restaurant where we were going to meet my niece! She was truly exceptional! Brenda kept us laughing during breakfast and made sure the food was fresh, hot, and plentiful. We had a fantastic time at this Best Western, and will be back when my nephew graduates! The only down-side is that the prices at ALL the hotels triple during graduation. Supply and demand.....
Stayed here for a week to watch Texas A&M baseball series. The hotel is very clean and new looking. Rooms were decorated well and beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we've ever had on vacation and can't beat the hospitality from Brenda working there either, she was the nicest most hardworking gal ever! We had all good encounters with the employees, very pleasant and helpful. Shopping within just minutes of the hotel and very easy to get on and off TX-6. Highly recommend this hotel, I know we'll be staying there again without a doubt.
Pleasant stay overall with good clean rooms and excellent service standards. Facilities are adequate for a business traveller like me. Conveniently located. Stayed for 2 nights. On my recommendation, friends have stayed subsequently and were well impressed.
This hotel was clean and the room, very clean and well appointed. It fit our needs for the short visit to College Station. There is a restaurant next door, but we chose to elsewhere for dinner, just to get a better look at CS.
Excellent overnight hotel. Hotel is fairly new and clean. Rooms were good size, very clean and comfortable bed. WiFi worked very well. Breakfast was as expected and typical. Very good coffee, great value.
My family and I were in College Station for a special event. I chose this hotel for its great location and solidly great reviews; I was impressed by how much I received for my money. From check in to checkout the experience was flawless. The hotel is new and very clean. The staff is super friendly, from the front desk to housekeeping and the complementary breakfast may be the best I've ever had at a venue like this. I have to give a special "shout out" to Jamacia, who was working extremely hard to keep the breakfast room clean and well stocked. There was a serious crowd in there, all hungry and messy, and she never let anything run empty - AMAZING!!! This is my new "go to" place in College Station.
The toilet wasn't functioning when we go there. We had to move rooms. They were very. Ice about it and moved is pretty quickly. The breakfast was incredible. I have never seen a yogurt dispenser! Awesome!!!
Last minute trip...very pleased in room, breakfast was amazing..the staff was polite and very helpful. Overall we have decided we will be staying more with best western and hoping they are like this one. GREAT NIGHT STAY!!!
An excellent hotel for the money. Very comfortable and stylish all around. The rooms are large and plush. Excellent breakfast and service was perfect. Great place for the pets to stay as well. Loved our stay at this hotel.
My husband and I stayed here three nights. Everything was clean and new. Breakfast was better than most including eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal, etc. The breakfast room attendant, Brenda, was very personable, kept replenishing food, supplies, and tidied up. What a hard worker! The hotel is close to a shopping center with anything you may need. We enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend it for a stay in College Station.
We love this hotel! Great staff, comfy rooms, extensive breakfast, easy access to highway. The rates are very reasonable . We like the location because it's away from the bustle of college activity, but can get to events quickly and easily!
We were very pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our hotel room. Larger rooms than usual and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was hot and ready as they had three separate induction stove tops. We loved the yogurt machine which provided d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s yogurt! We would definitely stay there again! Only problem was the internet would not connect to my laptop which they said has been a problem with laptops only.
Property was quite clean and tastefully decorated. Although I didn't try the breakfast I did grab coffee and it looked tasty. Not sure if reason but GPS had trouble finding location so be cautious with that.
This hotel is new and very clean. We stayed in a King Suite and was nice a spacious for the 3 of us who were visiting the area for a wedding. We loved the breakfast each morning. It was very good and the area was very clean. Brenda was a delight to greet us each morning and help us with anything we needed during breakfast. It was a wonderful stay for the price!
The staff were very couteous, helpful making my stay very delightful. The hotel and room were very clean, pleasantly furnished, very roomy. I had a suite with a couch, huge TV, and a keurig. The breakfast was very satisfying, large array of choices and the staff were so friendly and easy to talk to. I will definitely stay here again.
Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. Loved the shower. Appreciated the shuttle bus to and from Santa Wonderland. That service was awesome. There was a wide variety of breakfast available. Several of my family members stayed here and we all enjoyed the hotel.
Best Western Plus College Station Inn & Suites is a nice place to stay with several places nearby to go and eat and shop. Hotel is extremely new (less than 2 years). Rooms were decent and the staff was very nice. I would recommend this place.
I have a lot of positive things to say about this hotel. Great location, modern decor, great breakfast, very quiet. But... 1) trash by elevator and outside was overflowing all weekend 2) strange odor on 2nd floor. Could not pinpoint what it was but it stunk - all 4 days of our visit. 3) we left for the day Friday and came back around 3:00 and our room had still not been cleaned. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! But a little disappointed that such a nice facility wouldn't maintain their trash - a big turn off!
Very nice new hotel. Super staff, love all the extra pillows. Coffee in the room is always a plus. Walking distance to Saltgrass steakhouse next door is a bonus. Easy access on Hwy 6 near 40. Will be back next competition for sure.
This is the second time for us to stay at this Best Western. The hotel is very close to our son's house. It is a new hotel and very nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast offers a pretty good variety of food options. We try to stay here whenever available. The area is growing rapidly with new dining places near each time we are back at CSTAT.
Everything in the hotel and our room was clean and comfortable. I felt safe and it was quiet. I felt the price was higher than what I have paid at another location in different cities but because I was with a group, we paid it.
This is a very nice place to stay while visiting College Station. Easy access off of Highway 6 within a short drive to campus. This is a new facility with a fresh and up to date decor. We also enjoyed the quick breakfast. This is our go to place while visiting CS.
I would have rated this hotel at 5 stars but since our bathroom needed a bit more "housekeeping", I gave them 4 stars. Fairly new hotel. Everything nice and shiny so to speak. Lots of parking, plenty of space inside for meeting, conferences, etc. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Hotel is pet friendly. We had just picked up a new little kitten and the staff had to see her. They were so nice. The room is very large and spacious. Has all the amenities needed to make your stay comfortable. Great large screen TV, large bath area, plenty of clothes space, along with sofas and king bed. It was very quiet. Never did hear anyone in the hallway or through the walls/floor. The hotel was booked solid so I was surprised it was this quiet. Back side of the hotel is up against a forest so no traffic noises. Front of hotel is about a block off the freeway access road, so little to no noise here. Saltgrass is just across the parking lot so one can walk there for meals. Overall, just a nice place to stay. Only about 5 min from the University area. Will stay here again.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile! The room was nice and new. There was a maintenance issue with the bathroom door squeaking LOUDLY...but it was informed to the hotel maintenance. The one elevator was an issue. It was either very slow or not working. We had to take the stairs a few times. Other than those issues, the hotel was nice and the complimentary breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. Overall, a pretty good stay!
I spent one night at the Best Western Plus when on a golf outing with a friend. The hotel is brand new, spotless and had the most comfortable bed with good quality bed linens that I have encountered in this price range. The room had a fridge, microwave and large, easy to operate TV and was laid out such that space was maximum and noone was crowded. The room was quiet and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding and plentiful. I would absolutely stay there again!!! The only caveat is that the wonderfully high position of the showerhead required one to be at least 5'6" and on tippy-toe to adjust, which was a bit of a giggle. Thumbs up all the way.
Nice clean new hotel. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was great. Lots of choices for picky kids. HEB was right next door. Harley dealership about 3 minutes away. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We chose this hotel because it was close to family we were visting, so next time we visit this is our hotel.
We stayed a few nights at the Best Western Plus while our kitchen was undergoing a renovation. We couldn't have picked a nicer hotel to stay at! The room was very spacious, everything was very well-maintained, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, courteous, and very hospitable. Great value!
Jamacia in the dining area and Zazazra, at the front desk were great at this location. Friendly, courteous and very customer orientated. The hotel was clean and well kept up. I will be staying at this location in the future.
We were with Special Olympics athletes. The hotel staff started the breakfast one hour early to accommodate all the athletes staying there so they could eat before they started competitions. The staff was extremely efficient and very kind to all the athletes, parents and coaches.
I was in town with 32 Special Olympics Athletes fom the Dallas area. The room that I shared with another man had 2Q beds, flat screen TV, free WiFi, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, iron and ironing board, and hairdryer. Everything was spotless and in perfect working order. The hotel I was told is less than two years old. Complimentary breakfast each morning with fresh scrambled eggs, and all of the usual items. The lady in charge of breakfast was delightful (always smiling), and chatting with customers. She really seemed to enjoy her job. Saltgrass Steak house within walking distance, and other food establishments very close by. I feel sure our group would stay here again next year if possible. The area is very quiet and safe in my opinion.
i like to stay here when traveling because it is easy to access and nice restaurant's near by. Hotel staff always friendly and the building is always clean. It is located on the edge of town so there is not a lot of traffic and noise to worry about.
stayed 1 night then went to BW Houston could not wait to get back to this hotel, staff friendly from check in to check out such a positive experience and the best breakfast room by far and [ Brenda] or [Brandy] so attentive to making sure everything was flowing so well thank you, thank you !!!
Very clean hotel! Breakfast amazing for it being in house and not a "restaurant". Shout out to Victoria, Miss Brenda, Tian and manager Yazayra. Her amazing and helpful staff demonstrates her leadership! Thank you for making our first experience in Round Top a memorable one. Salt Grass next door is amazing as well!
Nice standard rooms, decent breakfast, nice and helpful staff, restaurant next door, and easy access to major roads. Modern decor. Large parking lot. Very few people there as it was not a football wkend. I was there for wedding nearby.
I had a great time staying at BestWestern Plus the staff is wonderful and most of all you will love the breakfast they have there OMG its the best ever and the Att. Brenda was AWESOME. The rooms were very comfortable and the pool area was great. I will be coming back. I had a great time staying.
We came to a football game at Texas A & M University. The hotel was in an excellent location, close to the university, shops and more. The pool was a nice break from the hot weather and the room was very clean and spacious. The hotel staff was very accommodating and courteous. The breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here foe our next visits!
Clean and new and everything is where it needs to be. Breakfast is fresh and awesome and the staff on hand is continually restocking and taking your plates, etc... Really like a restaurant! Room is plush and plugs everywhere for charging, etc..
The colors of the room and furniture of our suite room were nice. This is the first time I have seen a blue wall in a motel room. Everything was new and in good condition. It was like a first class hotel. The room was big and roomy. We used the pool and they had nice chairs on the patio and tables. The room was also quiet. It is in walking distance to the salt grass.
Very good, moving up to a better class of hotel. good price range. would stay again at BW Plus in College Station, TX. However, I stayed at BW Plus in Ferry Pass, Fl. and would not stay there again. Cockroaches in breakfast area near food.
this hotel was awesome. great location with restaurants and things to do with the family. we moved in our niece to Texas A&M. this hotel is new from what i can tell its only 4months old. staff is very friendly and hopefull. they made us feel right at home. breakfast was awesome...like i stated on the title more than expected
Very nice staff, very beautiful hotel. Fairly priced. The breakfast was very nice and hot. Crowded but due to game day. Food was always replenished and therefore fresh and good. If Turkey products was served I would be even more impressed. Great location and great place to stay. I will definitely stay again.
Stayed here one night as we were visiting TAMU - I wouldn't say it's the most convenient hotel to the university but I actually enjoyed being away from that ultra busy area. Walked the short distance to Saltgrass Steakhouse in the evening and took note of the close proximity of HEB for a future week long stay. Hotel is clean and modern, the room bright and airy and the breakfast was exceptional for the room price point. Very comfortable beds! I enjoyed this overnighter very much and am looking forward to a week long visit later this month.
This place is so friendly and helpful with anything that you might need. Victoria helped me immensely getting my bill straight for my employer after my stay. The establishment is super clean, convenient to shopping or travel, and provides a good breakfast every morning. I definitely recommend the BWP College Station for business, work, or pleasure. Thank you for a great experience!
Everything at the Best Western Plus College Station was top notch! Clean, comfortable rooms. Great breakfast, super clean hotel, great staff. Pool area was great for the kids. Overall wonderful experience and would highly recommend.
This was my first time there and it was so wonderful the rooms were great but the room sevices was not that all great. They didnt change the sheets on my bed like i asked but thats ok i will come back. Your breakfast was the best the att. Brenda was great i loved how she greet everyone when they came in she always had a smile on her face and even refilled are coffee and orange juices for use. I give here a A for a great job she does. I'll be back in a month and i will tell others about your hotel.
ASA Nat'l was held in College Station. Best Western Plus had the best rates & being a few years old was very clean. The front clerk, Victoria, was very helpful to my family & I needs. The night clerk as well(I don't remember her name). Recommend
This was our 3rd hotel in a month to stay at in College Station. This was the most comfortable and cleanest of all. The staff at all the hotels in CStat are very friendly and nice. The breakfasts in the hotels are a great bonus and make mornings easier. This hotel had nice rooms and comfy beds. The location was good also. Easy access. We will be staying at this location when we return to CStat.
Overall stay was excellent, but I had no idea upon making reservation that hotel was so far from Best Western that I have stayed at prior to this visit...It was hilarious the way map quest directed us to Hotel...
I came to College Station for my son's Glass Doctor ribbon cutting. I have never been to College Station so I had no idea where to stay. I picked this hotel after seeing the price and the pics online. It might be just a little too far out for some people but I did not find that to be a problem. Plus it is right behind a Salt Grass Steak House which was a bonus. I have to say I was very impressed. The hotel was very clean and the decor felt more upscale than the average Best Western. We had a King room with a pullout couch. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows - lol - I always bring my own because you never know about hotel pillows. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. They have breakfast in the morning with eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, The hotel is only a year old. It is also pet-friendly which is a plus for me although I did not bring my dog on this trip. Another reviewer complained about a febreeze scent. That might have been because of pets but I did not notice it as being overly obnoxious in any way. That reviewer complained about the elevator being slow. It wasn't supersonic but I didn't notice it being that slow. If I had any complaint it would be that housekeeping missed us on the first day. I called down and they IMMEDIATELY sent someone up. I just exchanged towels but they were very apologetic and friendly. I appreciated that very much. This did not cause me to lower their rating. I did use the pool which, like another reviewer pointed out, was next to the parking lot. It didn't bother me at all. It is a tiny pool but I was only interested in laying out so that was not a problem for me. It was hot out but I can't blame Best Western for Texas weather! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. The price is great, service friendly, and I will definitely stay here when I come back.
i requested housekeeping 1 day out of 5 during my stay. Housekeeping had not been performed when I returned after 6 pm. Location a little further than I expected, but my reservation was last minute. I would stay here again, if i could not get a closer hotel to the university.
Stayed here in July 2016 when my son attended the New Student Conference. This seems to be a brand new hotel and in very good condition. The room was in great condition. We had a Double/Double and there was plenty of space. The breakfast was good. Nothing too fancy, but certainly sufficient. The only flaw I see in this hotel was the size and position of their outdoor pool (next to the parking lot). We did not use it, but if we planned to it would have been awkward. We selected the hotel because the did allow our small dog. ($25.00 extra nightly fee). Plenty of space to walk the dog. While not the closest hotel to Texas A&M, it certainly was easy enough to get there and back. I would recommend this hotel to people traveling to College Station.
Very quite and comfortable; Staff is very helpful and attentive to your needs. Had an issue with the bathroom cleanliness and was immediately changed to another room. The breakfast that comes with the room is very good with some really good choices.
Everything was great. Best value for quality compared to competitors. Have stayed here before, but this time there were pervasive odors in elevator and hallways that were not pleasant. Staff are very friendly and breakfast was in top 2 I have had at similar hotels.
Stayed for 3 nights in a king and sofa bed. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. It was located close to restaurants, grocery store, friends, and attractions. Would recommend and stay there again.
The hotel both inside and outside were clean, new, and welcoming. Bed, pillows, sheets, coverlet were good quality and comfortable for sleeping. Décor of hotel both interior and exterior was tastefully decorated, welcoming and calming. Staff was friendly, efficient and accommodating. Breakfast Bar was okay. Adequate sitting and eating space.
Check in was a breeze, staff very friendly, room was very comfortable, bed was very comfortable, landscape was beautiful, breakfast had a variety of food. Would definitely stay again at this location.
very nice place to stay. I haven't used best western in several years but chose them twice in the past 4 days and the places I stayed were nice, reasonable priced, and had friendly service, I would recommend this location to anyone traveling through the area. it's good for family or business
If you are in town and need a nice, clean place to stay visit Best Western Plus in College Station. We have stayed there twice now on our visits to A&M. They are close to the campus, but away from downtown. Good breakfast! Nice Staff!
Excellent place to stay in the College Station area. Rooms are very nice and beds are comfortable. The staff were wonderful and had a very friendly attitude. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone passing through.
We stayed for 2 nights while attending TAMU NSC. Rooms are clean, the staff is nice. They serve a decent breakfast buffet. The beds were a little hard for my personal taste. My only complaint was the NSC runs very late on day one. We got back to the hotel late and were exhausted. We wanted to buy a snack and my daughter waited in a line of other guests returning late for 20 minutes. The night desk clerk was no where in sight.
First time we have stayed in this hotel as our normal hotel was booked. The room and bathroom were clean. the staff went over and beyond to help. The breakfast was the best I have ever seen. Will defiantly come back! Only negative is the shower head is so high short people can not adjust it. Wish the water pressure was stronger. Everything else was spot on!
The hotel was excellent and the staff was awesome. The only problem I had was that the gps mapping took me to a deserted area across the hwy. called the hotel and they corrected the directions for me as this has been a ongoing problem for them. I would gladly stay there again.
Service was very good. Room was very clean and quiet. The free breakfast was hot and delicious. Whether you are in town on business or pleasure this hotel is a good deal and located in a convenient place, close to stores, restaurants, and easy access on and off highway.
I was stranded due to unexpected storms...only 40 miles from home and they did not gouge me; rather they dropped their prices. Very accommodating...knew I was stranded and gave me all toiletries. Had hot fresh coffee waiting with ALL sugar options and 4 creamer choices. Helpful and understanding. Brand new as they opened May 1 (I think desk clerk said). I was there May 26. Bed was comfy, although I didn't sleep well because my family was stranded in Brenham, while I was stranded in College Station. Our home is in between the two. If I had friends/family needing room in the area, I would definitely recommend this BW+.
Great hotel, service, and staff, food was cold but it was good nice, clean, beautiful rooms great bathroom facilities set-up for elderly as well.Definitely will stay at a Best Western Plus again Will recommend to friends and family and co-workers
Hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Accommodations were absolutely perfect. Clean and extremely nice room with a very comfortable bed. Would definitely choose this hotel again and would recommend to friends.
Our stay was comfortable and accommodating. The drive south was worth it because of the comfortable beds and new clean rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions. The hotel is so new the gps was a little off but we found the hotel just off highway 6
This Best Western is new, clean, and modern. It is about a year old as of May 2016. I was very pleased with how clean the room was which is my biggest criteria of a hotel room. We lest an ipad and the front desk called us within 2 hours of departure and offered to mail it to us.
This hotel is new. Interior was decorated well and was clean. The room was very nice. We had a long room that also had a sitting area with a couch and 2 arm chairs. This room also came with a fridge and microwave, I always enjoy rooms that come with a mini fridge. They serve a pretty nice continental breakfast, which another thing I look for when booking a hotel. I would stay here again. Good location, nice accommodations, with some nice extras! I was also impressed with the employees. Whenever I saw an employee, they were friendly and would ask how I was or if I was having a good day. I appreciated the interaction and friendliness of the staff.
Every thing was fine. Their breakfast was not all that great. No bottled water in rooms for coffee maker. The rooms were clean with plenty of towels. A quiet stay and easy to access. Food establishments with in walking distance so a lot of convenience in that respect. Over all a good stay.
When we called the desk about the TV being very dark they sent someone up right away. The gentleman was polite and called to ask how to make it it lighter. They said it was programed and they didn't know how. He said it was like that in every room.
Overall quality hotel, clean, new, nice. The only complaint was that our room was not serviced during the day, and I would have liked to see some whole wheat bagels or toast available at breakfast. Room was excellent.
I enjoyed the stay at this hotel for 2 nights. Very professional staff and good amenities. I would recommend it as represents good value for money and is conveniently located. There is pool too although I did not use it. I would recommend for business travellers.
I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and had a few issues. The rooms were nicer than average. #1 Upon check in the girl at the front desk gave us the check in speech and advised that she needed a credit card on file for incidentals. She gave us a price and assured us that it was necessary. The credit card was charged with a "hold" that was more then twice what was told to us causing an issue with my personal bank. When I spoke to the staff at the hotel, another girl (who I assume was in a position of leadership) took my information and promised that a (I believe she said the General Manager) manager would be in contact. It's been over two weeks and no phone call. No explanation. No nothing. So because of the staff members mistake, a guest is supposed to eat the problems that were caused? I find the lack of customer service quite disappointing. #2 The complementary breakfast wasn't terrible but it was not the best either. I would compare the experience to having that or nothing at all, but it definitely could do with some improvement. #3 Laundry Facilities! There is one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel! The dryer took two cycles to completely dry and there was a line to use the machines! Oh, and the front desk "ran out of quarters". It seems to me the hotel is very unprepared when it comes to customer service. Again, this needs improvement. Suggestion. Add laundry units to each floor and put a coin machine in with them! #4 Gym was average but very clean. Never seemed to have clean towels though. #5 The pool was clean but small. Seemed cozy though and was never crowded. In fact I don't believe I ever saw anyone else use it. #6 The Wi-Fi never worked and I could never get a decent signal inside of the hotel room. Had to use the business center (which was actually quite nice) to get work done. End result is I will be recommending that we seek other venues to stay at. Mostly due to the poor customer service.
This hotel was very clean and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had a late return to the hotel and wanted to order pizza for delivery - they recommended Hungry Howie's and it was the best pizza we have had. Thanks for a great stay - we will be back.
We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly. It is a new hotel. The breakfast was good. It is also convenient to TAMU and major highways. I would stay here again.
We were visiting a college student in town and the hotel was convenient to reach. Our stay was comfortable and the breakfast was good.we very much enjoyed the room size.. The bed was very comfortable.
Lovely Hotel but lot of unruly teenagers surrounding our room with slamming doors made for short sleeping times...should have put kids at end of hallway from other guests... poor planning on reservation staff to allow three high school teams to stay at once..doors heavy and slammed every time they left the room (which was a lot)
New hotel, feels sterile from walls painted white, accent walls pop with bright color. I'm not a fan of key lime green or was that some kind of yellow. Silver framed photos in rooms make you wonder if they ran out of money. This hotel seemed to be going for a hip look that was lost on me. The room was comfy but you could hear highway noise as well as hallway noise. Bathroom was nice, first time to have only a shower no tub. The tile color along with grout was not appealing. The tile floor felt sticky as if the wrong cleaner had been used. Full breakfast was unimpressive, lacked appeal and flavor. No vending machine, if you need bottled water or snack you must purchase from hotels Sundry. Had to ask for a printed bill upon check out. Weekend staff was very unsure of themselves.
Stayed on 20 Feb 16. Clean, great staff and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the eggs seemed to be fresh. New facility and money well spent. Restaurants and attractions near by. It is not downtown, but 10 minutes to stadium and university. Will stay again next time in college station.
I had a great experience at this place. Very clean, new, convenient location, and the staff is very courteous and prompt. Loved the breakfast. I'm in college station often for business so I'll be back soon!
We stayed here on 1/7/16 on our visit to the Bush Pres. Library. The hotel is new and the exterior and lobby look nice. The parking lot is well light and it is within walking distance of the Salt Grass Steak house. The front desk clerk was great a, helpful on dinner suggestions and very welcoming. The check out staff was also helpful. Our room (112) was good sized, clean and well decorated. The room cost seemed a good value to us. The hotel was about 20 min. from the Bush Library. We would stay here again.
Excellent option in College Station. Near the highway and HEB grocery. Clean rooms and hallways. Breakfast is very good including scrambled eggs, sausage, and Belgian waffles. Nice, clean, new breakfast room.
We stayed here after a visit to Santa's Wonderland. When we first arrived at 3pm the lobby was packed with people because the rooms were not ready for check in. However I went ahead and signed the necessary paperwork and left for Santa's Wonderland. When we came back that evening the room was obviously ready for check in. The room was nice and roomy as was the bathroom. My family complained of a sewer smell but I did not smell it. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausage, muffins, cereal, etc. All in all a good experience. We will be back next year for our annual trip to Santa's Wonderland.
We checked in late and the staff was very accommodating. Some High School group was there and occupied the bulk of the 3rd floor so they made sure we were at the opposite end of the hotel and not underneath them. Excellent. One side note....how you treat people is how you get treated in return. I've read reviews of multiple hotels and the whiners have bad service because they don't know how to handle themselves in difficult situations. Treat people with respect and they'll try even harder for you in a circumstance that you're taking personally and they're not the direct cause of. The Rooms are clean, spacious and smell fresh laundered. Don't know why i point that out but it was distinctive. nice. It has a nice restaurant right across the parking lot. Complimentary breakfast is the norm with eggs, one or two meat choices, waffles, fruit, bagels, cereal, juices, etc. Nothing remarkable, but nothing to complain about either. My rate for a king size room was $102 with everything.
I booked my race team for our first stay at this hotel for our race weekend at Texas World Speedway. Could not have been happier with the service and the quality of the hotel. The receptionist always asked what how things are and offered coupons to some of the local restaurants.
We reserved a double queen room for Saturday only while in town for the last Aggie home game of the season. The pretax etc rate was 199.00 The facilities were clean and attractive. The only negative was a very foul odor in the hallway of the second floor which was not present when we checked in near midnight but very noticeable when we checked out the next day. We dropped of our key cards at the unattended front desk so we're not able to notify anyone. Did not utilize the free breakfast so cannot speak to that.
The Best Western exceeded our expectations. Excellent customer service from the staff. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, excellent accommodations. We were booked into the wrong type of room (king instead of double). The front desk staff worked on the issue and were able to accommodate us into a double even on a sold out night.
This is a very nice hotel and the only negative is that you hear traffic on the freeway all night long. This would be rated a 5 if it weren't for the freeway noise. This looks to be a relatively new hotel. We stayed one night in a king room. The room was very spacious, as was the bathroom. The shower was good. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean upon check in. And the common areas appear to be taken care of and maintained. Breakfast was your usual hotel choices - nothing special but edible.
Very nice hotel! Great bed! I am not sure why all the hotels in this class are going to the small square pillows, because they look nice lined up on the bed? They are not very comfortable. Great WiFi.
Have stayed here twice and will do so again. Worth the extra mile or so South of College Station. Hotel is off the highway some so its quite. Close to an H.E.B. grocer and Salt Grass Steakhouse next door. Rooms are always clean and parking lot is well lit and secure.
I frequently stay in this area for business purposes and I really enjoy the Best western Plus and the Best Western Premier hotels because they are always clean and friendly. Breakfast is free and they have a good choice of items.
Arrived after driving to Aggieland that morning and attending the Alabama game. The first words out of the clerk's mouth were "are you sure you are at the right Best Western?". I showed her my confirmation number made through booking.com 2.5 months in advance. Next words were "uh oh". I knew right then they had lost my reservation and they appeared very unorganized with their booking.com papers which were kept in a crate under the desk. The clerk said "the problem is they never clean this thing out". Long story short, they lost my reservation and the manager on duty sign was blank. I asked if I could have her card just so I could call back the next day and be assured I was not going to be charged the exorbitant $428 for the room that night that I wasn't going to get to stay in. No card for the manager, no way for me to talk to a manager, no manager on duty. Highly recommend you double checking your reservation if planning to stay at this location.
The hotel itself was nice, but the service was awful. We stayed 4 days/3 nights. They never came in to clean our room once. The third day, we called the front desk twice and never received an answer. That late evening (after 6:00) we finally went to the front desk and had to ask in person to have our room cleaned. When we returned to our room that night, the room was still not cleaned. All they did was empty our trash cans. We also had several family members staying at the hotel for a wedding. Many of our familly members were coming from very far away and were told several days in advance that they could check in a little bit early if necessary. We had several family member try to check in between 1:00-2:30. They were all told no. They were told it was against policy. Even though there were rooms cleaned and ready, they still weren't able to check in early. It was frustrating because they had been told over the phone earlier that this would not be a problem.
Great place to stay but, as are all hotels/motels in the AggieLand area, way overpriced during "demand days" (football games, parent's weekend, etc.). I'm all for supply and demand economics however, there is such a thing as building loyalty and establishing a long-term relationship. Every time we go to College Station we end up staying in some place different because of the wildly fluctuating "supply/demand" pricing strategy.
Great Hotel, my door did not close properly. It was left open by the cleaning staff. I notified the desk and they said they would get it fixed the door did not get fixed during my 5 day stay but my door was not left open again.
Stayed here on business based on previous trip advisor review. Hotel was new, clean, comfortable and located well. Nice quiet rooms. Very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this to any in the College Station area.
We will only stay here when we are in College Station~ Location is good, rooms are very clean, breakfast in the mornings is delicious. The staff that we encountered during our stay were all very kind and helpful.
I'm very picky about "clean," and this hotel did not disappoint. Everything was spotless, which made the stay a great one for me. The staff was pleasant. They had breakfast, but we ate elsewhere with family. Sure smelled good though. I will stay again when I visit A&M!
