Best Western Plus Burlington

Fully satisfied with our stay and couldn't ask for more. Compared to other hotels at this price, I thought this BW was rightfully named a "Plus." One of the plusses I enjoyed was the large, covered courtyard, which was a nice place to sit with a cup of coffee. The convenience and good food selection at the attached Grill 5-8-4 was another plus. There were nice touches throughout. We recommend this hotel for a visit to Burlington or a stop along I-40 on the way to another destination.

We only stayed one night but found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at their onsite restaurant, Grill 584. My husband had the salmon and I had the seafood sampler. The pool was very nice. There's an area set up around it that has tables and chairs where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast if you don't want to be in the crowded breakfast room. This, of course, can only be enjoyed during the warmer months. The breakfast was good and had a nice variety of items. The staff is friendly and courteous. We will definitely stay again if we're ever in the area.

Pros-good location and attached restaurant not owned or managed by hotel is good. Shopping and dining abundant near hotel. Cons - rooms not cleaned, they reuse dirty pillow cases and reheat breakfast items and re serve them consecutive days. Hair found in home fries.

This property has a very nice pool/courtyard area and above average breakfast. The property is quite dated, although it looks like they are making some updates. There was seemingly no elevator to get to our second floor room, which was quite inconvenient with our luggage and belongings.

I first want to thank the hospitable desk staff for a friendly reception and very helpful check-in experience. The next thing I noticed was the 100% rating from the state Health Department; that score is almost unheard of. The room was very comfortable with good quality linens and toiletries. Ice was readily available. The WiFi was functioning well. The pool was very well-maintained as well as the surrounding terraces. Breakfast was adequate and featured some hot items; the coffee was excellent. Thanks to extraordinary management for an enjoyable and restful stay.

The property was very nice, the hotel and pool area were peaceful and very clean. The room was clean, there was some wear showing in the shower but otherwise top notch hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

We stay here often on our way to the east coast. Their rooms feel larger than most hotels with plenty of entry way and bathroom space.They are in the process of putting in new carpeting. The breakfast has many options from eggs and sausage to waffles and is served in a really pretty room. The pool area is fabulous. They have a large covered area with seating and tables. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. This last stay was the first time I could hear our "neighbors" next door - a group of ladies and they were just talking, but thankful they didn't talk all night.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant and bar are a plus! While we did not have time to use the exercise room or pool, the areas were very clean. This Best Western Plus would be great for business travelers as well as families,

A/C was hit or miss. Lighting by bed kept going off and on. Breakfast was okay. Pool looked nice, but weather to cool to use. No signs for vending/ice machines. Easy check in. Some areas of motel could use updates.

Great location and good value! We were not familiar with the Burlington area. The hotel is convenient to shopping, restaurants and the interstate. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good!

Great hotel, nice rooms, very friendly staff, located very close to shopping and dining. We had a king size deluxe room with a full size refrigerator, sink, eating area, The room also had a sofa, chair and desk..very rioomy

Great location, friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet, love the free hot beverage machine in the lobby! Even had a ramp for wheelchairs. Beds were soft, alot of room on the counter in the bathroom. Toilet was too close to the bathroom door and you had to reach behind you to get to. Otherwise this place is great!

From reservation to check out a great experience. Clean and tastefully appointed rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful.Breakfast offerings were plentiful and restocked. Toiletries provided. Lovely hotel, outdoor garden seating area. We had a very pleasant stay.

Very Clean, felt safe and secure, perfect location, no odors. Bed was extremely comfortable. This is an older hotel and was built when I lived in Burlington in the 70's. The property is very well maintained and you would never know that it was that old.

I loved this hotel for Elon homecoming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful! The room was comfy and clean .I enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the 5*8*4 restaurant nearby was very good and convenient!! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Had a nice stay during a chess tournament. Nice room and breakfast buffet. There is a pretty courtyard in the center of the hotel. The facility is close to numerous restaurants and is in general in a convenient location in the center of North Carolina.

The hallways had to be 100+ degrees, especially the 2nd floor. AC units in the rooms at least worked fine, which is probably the more important one. It was mid-October, not July, for perspective. In addition, at least on the second floor in the back of the hotel, finding the room is a chore. Directions to rooms are non-existent. Was looking for 247. You get to the floor, and have to go left or tight. You see 268 to the right, 250something to the left. You assume left and that they would decrease. Wrong! It is something like 255 to 267. You go right, and see a sign for 269 to 270something, right. No sign for what is left. Barely caught 225 was the next room after 268 (what???) Finally realized that was 225 to something like 254. Needs better signage. On the plus side, the rooms were clean, and for a 2-night stay, they did the room the day in between - most hotels don't do that any more for 2-night stays, usually requires 4 or so.

We always stay here when visiting the area. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. Even the maintenance crew fixing the building. Joyce at the front desk greats you with a 'welcome back'. Its nice to know that you can get this kind of friendly service away from home.

This location is nice, clean and the staff are friendly. Best Western Plus locations are typically acceptable when I travel but this is my favorite hotel and I've seen a lot of hotel rooms. It's well priced, consistent and the staff has always been exceptional.

If you are looking for a pleasant stay in a clean motel complete with a beautiful outdoor pool and well kept grounds, and an amazing free breakfast bar, the Best Western in Burlington ,NC is the perfect spot.

I stayed in a room that was poolside on the first floor. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed was comfortable! The gals working the front desk at check in were fantastic. Check out took a little bit longer (lady was a little cranky early in the morning). All was good and I would not hesistate to stay here again!

we didn't like to be charge twice for our room 224.65 and then 174.65 when we booked on line the rooms with our rewards was to get two rooms for 53.85 plus 75.42 but instead we got duke out of it. our account was charge two times not happy about that we will pay cash next time.,

This is the best hotel in the Burlington, NC area. Great staff, service, rooms, rates, and courtyard. Anytime I'm in the area for an extended time it's the place for me. Best Western Plus Burlington just can't be beat.

My aging parents live in an assisted living facility so I stay at Best Western in Burlington, NC for 2 or 3 nights, every month when I visit from out of state. My room is always clean, there is plenty of hot water for a shower or a soak in the extra long bathtub, the staffers are pleasant and kind. They provide free wi-fi, cable tv, and a delicious breakfast with plenty of freshly brewed hot coffee. The decor may be a bit outdated, but I have not found another place that provides such consistently good service for such a good price.

We were traveling through the area and made a last-minute booking. The service at the desk was phenomenal. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was attended very well and the selection of breakfast items was plentiful.

I'm a travel nurse and have experienced my fair share of hotels. For the price, this is by far the best spot in Burlington. The staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. Breakfast has a variety, and is always hot and fresh. Rooms are clean and secure. The pool/patio area is lovely! I'm so grateful to have this little home away from home while traveling!

We had never stayed at a Best Western before so we weren't sure what to expect. It was wonderful from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and all the spaces were clean and comfortable. We were in town for a graduation ceremony and it was close to our destination. That said, I believe our rate was a little higher than it typically would have been for a two night stay here, but it was still a good value for the money, and we would consider returning in the future.

The hotel was fantastic! The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was great! The restaurant/bar that's located in the hotel was exceptional! The hotel also has room for tractor trailer parking so that makes it even better for us.

Very nice hotel, great location, good value, excellent customer service. Lots of eating places close by. Very quiet and not to close to the highway. Hardly any traffic noise. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to my home town.

I have stayed at many different best westerns all over nc .by far this was one the cleanest hotel I have been through. The staff was friendly and very helpful . The hotel was clean and my stay safe as very comfortable looking forward to coming back soon

A friendly and courteous staff and an actual breakfast (versus 'continental') every morning (even on Christmas Day) made for a pleasant return and stay to my hometown. Access to the courtyard and pool area was a welcomed amenity. The room was clean and nicely appointed. And again, a friendly staff with each encounter made me feel 'at home'. Thanks for an enjoyable and stress-free experience.

Stayed with them again over a Thanksgiving visit to our son in Graham. Joyce at the front desk tried to call me on my cell phone to tall me the rooms I usually like to stay in were not available, and she wanted to help me pick out an alternate. Talk about outstanding caring customer service !!!! The only problem we encountered was on our last day, as we were going down to Breakfast, the new door lock would not engahe to lock the room. Finally, got it to work, but as we were.leaving to check out, the door again would not lock. i reported this to the front desk, and they marked the room out of service. Room comfortable, clean, and quiet. Will return here next time we visit our son.

First time staying at a Best Western Plus as I normally stay at other chains like Marriott. I was pleasantly surprised. The interior of the hotel is nicer than the outside. If you are looking for a newer upscale hotel with comtemporary flair and state of the art touches, this hotel is NOT for you. If however you are looking for a moderately priced hotel that offers a clean room and great customer service, then this is the place for you. The decor is a little dated, the beds were a little lumpy but the shower pressure was great. I give 5 stars to the staff at this hotel. We were greeted at the front desk by Glenda who gave us a warm welcome. Every other staff member we encountered was also just as friendly and professional. There is also a wonderful restaurant next door GRILL 584. Our family enjoyed a delicious meal. Great value and service all around and I would definitely stay here again.

The best place to stay when in Burlington, N.C. Chef Dave's food at Grille 5-8-4 is excellent and the hotel staff is super friendly and professional. The breakfast options are plentiful for all types of appetites. It's located near the interstate with easy access to the piedmont area.

We were expecting a continental breakfast but surprisingly received a full breakfast instead. The room was clean, the water pressure was great with plenty of hot water, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly and caring.

This hotel has it all. A beautiful lobby, newly decorated rooms, and an incredible restaurant (Grill 584) next door. It's first class and the staff are all top notch. We happened upon it because Winston Salem and Greensboro hotels were full and it was just off I40. What a find!

Fantastic services!! Courtyard was beautiful. Breakfast had food for any taste. Wonderful restaurant attached to hotel. Rooms were spacious and well laid out. Staff was extremely helpful and very friendly.

Dirty. Room was not comfortable. Bed was really lumpy…shower curtain was so far into the shower it touched me during the whole shower. The hallways of the hotel were full of workers…yelling at each other. The front desk staff felt like they weee doing you a favor. I would not return to this place. There are much better alternatives in the area.

Comfortable, clean rooms, courteous staff, excellent breakfast, reliable amenities.....what's not to love? :) Would highly recommend. I've stayed here off and on for years now and have always been satisfied.

Hotel staff was great. Our room was very clean. Breakfast was delicious. And the hotel was in a great location. Me and my family ran into no problems other than the pool being down due to someone having an accident. Overall I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back.

Weekend stay for family reunion was great. Excellent service by staff, great accommodations, and location is convenient to local shopping and eateries. I highly recommend BWPB to anyone that's looking for a great rate and comfort.

I was there 16 days, a lot of things were out of control of the BW- but because this location houses construction crews and other come and go travelers, there were loads of messes in the hall way and terrible trash over flow problems from the other guests. There was one wing of the hotel smelled like people LIVED there. It was so bad, and I HAD to walk down it to get to my room. Thankfully the hotel staff was able to accommodate me and moved my room- no hassle.

I began my stays with Best Western Plus in Burlington approximately 1 year ago as a travel nurse. I wanted a place where I could feel safe with Covid-19 protocols, have a comfortable, quiet room, and remain reasonably close to the hospital. This place ticked all the boxes! Staying here for the entire year that I was employed at the local hospital has been such a pleasurable experience. The property is within very close proximity to the facility, but what I got from this place was so much more than convenience. Joyce, Tiffany, and the other staff members have been like my family away from home. They have always made sure my room is clean and ready when I arrived weekly, and have shown genuine consideration for my crazy work schedule. The friendly staff in the kitchen were always eager to welcome their guests with a warm smile, hot coffee, and smorgasbord of delicious items on the buffet! There is plenty of parking and easy access via keyed entry to the building. My favorite thing about the property is the atrium. In it is the sparkling pool surrounded by trees and tables and chairs where everyone can enjoy the outdoors area. So cool! I would highly recommend this place because it is close to lots of shopping and eateries, but mostly because of the exceptional detail to the customer service each of the employees provide. If I could offer 10 stars, I would. Just giving thanks to Joyce, Tiffany, and all the others who made my stay at this Best Western Plus, a pure joy for me. You guys rock!!

Excellent stay, mainly due to the people working there and their commitment to their job. The big complaints would be the property needs some updates in parts of the hotel, and although the free breakfast had a nice variety, they could maybe rotate in a few extra items during the course of the week just so you feel like there is something different when staying more than a night or two. But none of this review is worth not giving this property a 5 as far as an affordable hotel experience.

This is not the place to say if you would like to say as a date night or if there's a local event going on in your within 50 miles of this hotel they do not allow gas to stay there if your home address is within 50 miles of this hotel.

Very clean hotel. Great location off of I-85. Full breakfast, quiet. I could tell there had recently been renovations. Great pool area. I wish I could have stayed longer. Will definitely revisit in the near future.

Very nice hotel. Staff was excellent. Breakfast area was clean and well staffed with friendly people. Restaurant next door had great appetizers, and the steaks and seafood are what they are known for. Location was as good as it gets to the town of Burlington.

I felt Safe Hotel was clean, And easy on the wallet. Amenities (breakfast and internet) were excellent. Staff was amazing. I would stay with a family. Bonus, mellow mushroom is right across the street.

Room was not ready, someone's deodorant was left on the floor, the blow dryer was sticky, staff didn't care, the bed/pillows were old & uncomfortable, the air conditioner was loud, the room/parking felt unsafe for mom with small girls (back by the fitness room with no other rooms nearby, no other people parked there, semi trailer parked right next to door), shower curtain would stay closed, breakfast didn't open until after we had to leave, fitness equipment was old and dirty and couldn't be adjusted for size. I got no sleep, and the girls were not rested for their competition. Do not stay here.

Love this hotel! Friendly staff, clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The pool is nice in the summer time. Always first choice. Great for families and close to shopping and restaurants. Great price for what you get!

By far this BW Plus has the best customer and the breakfast is awesome. When we were leaving, we saw the staff cleaning the rooms and changing the sheets on the bed. Now maybe that does not mean anything to you but it means something to me and my family. They even had sanitizer and mask for those who wanted them. Even the night staff was excellent and very knowledgeable about the area. .

Excellent staff, all are courteous and helpful. Great location near I-85. Excellent free breakfast. Room was value for the cost. Pool yard area looks like it could be at a resort. Has two floors, but no elevator; so if you can't navigate stairs be sure to ask for a first floor room

The location of this hotel is very good as there is plenty of shops and restaurants around, especially the grill next door. The front desk employee was very friendly. The room is okay, the bathroom/shower could use a facelift. There is no hairdryer in the room. The toiletries are of good quality. However, it is extremely difficult to get the shampoo and conditioner out of the bottle. Glad I don't have arthritis. The beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast is the typical, average deal: scrambled eggs, sausages, bagles, waffles, muffins, toasts, cereals, bananas, apple….

After driving for 13 hours in the fog & rain, I was very glad to arrive at this BW. I was quickly checked in, my room was very clean & comfortable. I was looking forward to having room service (yes, there is a restaurant attached to this BW that offers room service), but because I used my BW reward points I was unable to use this service. Other then that, this is a wonderful place to stay. I will stay again & again. Thank you for a refreshing night sleep.

Thanks to the outstanding customer service I was able to book a room last minute for my collegiate homecoming . The staff ( especially the front desk Manager Ms Joyce is great at her job and a joy to do business with! Great location for my needs . I have been staying there on and off for about 20 years and will always be my go to in Burlington NC.

Best Western Plus is everything you need to relax and enjoy. I would not choose another hotel in this area. I felt like I had come home and my family and friends were there. Everyone greeted you warmly and always wished you safe travels on leaving.

The inside of the Best Western was beautiful. Room wings surround a beautiful fountain and outdoor seating area that was inviting and unexpected. Looked more like what I would expect in a much larger city.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms were clean, staff was nice, and the beds are comfortable. They also had a real breakfast - not just waffles and cereal. They have an outdoor area that is very pretty.

This was a stop over stay as I headed to Virginia. Only one night, wish it could have been more. Friendly staff, nice lobby and breakfast area (with a real breakfast). I have actually changed my plans for my return trip home so I can stay there again!

Nice clean hotel. The pool area is beautiful, I wished that we had come to this hotel earlier in the summer. Breakfast was nice and hot with many options. Check in was easy and the lady at the first desk showed me how to get BW rewards.

Customer service was good!! My room was very clean and nice inside. I'm a truck diver I had plenty of room to park my truck and trailer. Everything is right in your area from food, shopping and dancing.

The staff at the front desk can not be more friendly. I always feel very welcomed. Rooms are always clean. It is a wonderful location to Elon University. Restaurant on property is a huge bonus, food is always good.

We stayed here for Elon family weekend. I have never stayed at the Best Western before although it's a older hotel it is extremely clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Great pool in close proximity of Elon which was nice when we had downtime to be able to relac at the pool. Very nice restaurant as well and lounge. Joyce at the front desk was exceptional! I would definitely stay here again

If you respect the property of others, and love a clean, comfortable place to shower and rest: this is your place! The covered court yard was awesome as well, as was the convenience of having a attached restaurant for dining.

Clean hotel, nice layout, rooms were very good and staff were very personable and professional. I thought the rate was a little high but it was Labor Day. They didn't make the room and though they has a sign at the front desk, the young lady never mentioned it and that you had to put dirty towels out by the door and they would replace but again, short on communicating to us when we check in. But, nice room, pool, and onsite restaurant. Would stay again.

We love this hotel, most of all because of great staff and management. It also has a fantastic courtyard and pool. Location is very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Gym was kept nice and cool and clean.

This hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and charming. Lots of parking. It is close to many places to eat and even has a restaurant in the hotel that is very good. Housekeeping does an excellent job with cleaning the rooms. My greatest joy is a good strong pressure shower head and each room has one. Makes me look forward to a shower.

The room was pretty good size and very clean. We had a good fridge and microwave. We miss the daily cleaning a little, but that's a COVID thing and not something to judge the hotel on. They offer a good breakfast with all kinds of choices including hot cooked eggs, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, pastries, etc. One thing I would add is that there was a large covered area, but with open sides with plants, tables, a fountain and large ceiling fans that created a nice cooling breeze. It was a great space and we ate out there with takeout or breakfast.

Beautiful accommodations. Top notch and great price. We had a wedding here for our daughter. Many guests commented on the perfect environment and comfortable setup. The entire experience was awesome. The rooms we rented were perfect. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond to meet our needs.

Played softball 3 straight days won the USA National Championship 65 & over great weekend very comfortable place to stay. The water problem at Burlington put a small dent in our visit.We will be back soon!$

TUESDAY 13 JULY2021 ● Checked in and had problems with lady at reception ● She checked us into a room on the second floor with NO Elevator ● Finally she changed our room to the second floor with elevator down the hall ● We booked several rooms through BOOKINGS.COM ● Two Rooms were changed from King to 2 Queens on June 18 Via Bookings.com website ● Bookings.com send confirmation that these two rooms were changed on 19 June 2021 ● Several days Prior to arrival called Property direct to RE-Confirm rooms ● Spoke to “I don't have to give you my name” and they confirmed All rooms including the change of 2 rooms from kings to queens ● One room – had issues with room - Requested 2 Queens – They put them in a King ● The guest was able to work it out (With some issues) with reception ● Same issue with the other room changed from king to 2 queens ● Lady at reception would NOT move them to a room with 2 Queens ● Put them into a King right next to the elevator and the noise of the elevator was VERY disturbing and they hadn't been in the room but an hour at best Also loud voices from elevator added to the disturbance ● Went to front desk/reception - Spoke to the same lady that me in and said the room is wrong and the guest needs a 2 Queen room ● She insisted NO as NO 2 Queen rooms were available ● HUM.., So how is it you gave me a Queen then changed us to another queen ● She was unable to answer the question ● Next I showed her the Bookings.Com change of confirmation we had done on line showing both rooms were confirmed changed to 2 queens on 19 June 2021 ● She said Bookings.Com NEVER contacted the property and it wasn't the hotels responsibility to make sure that the confirmation was correct ● Reminded her I called and spoke to “I don't have to give you my name” who confirmed the change ● Then another girl at reception butted in and with yet more bla bla bla saying it wasn't the hotels problem because Bookings.Com didn't notify them you take what your reserved ● I told this other girl I confirmed the change from kings to 2 queens with the property ● First lady at reception said I should have contacted the hotel directly ● Hello! Didn't I just say I called the property direct and the Bookings.com confirmations were confirmed with the 2 room changes ● Then she says that I should contact the group reservation department and speak to Crystal about this matter but she isn't here ● I asked what is contacting Crystal have to do with the issue at hand ● We should have booked a group with Crystal ● Hotel wouldn't match the room rate offered by Bookings.com ● Then she says we can't match the rates Bookings.Com offers for our hotel ● Bookings.com can only offer rooms at this property after negotiating rates with Best Western & the location I tell her ● Now she's clueless ● I asked for the manager and she gives me his card too ● What do I need his card for and why do I want to call him later when there is an issue with the room right NOW ● Is there a manager on property - And.., you said he's in the hotel ● Fine we will wait to speak to him ● Finally Dave came and spoke to with us ● Told him everything we had told the first lady and gave him a copy of the Bookings.com confirmation and the change of the TWO (2) rooms dates 18 & 19 June 2021 ● He too gave us the bla bla bla that Bookings.Com Never notified them ● Interesting this is how do they know if Bookings.com contacted or didn't contact them if they didn't check? ● I also told him that we called before arrival and a lady at this property confirmed the change ● I asked him Could someone here have not corrected the system to read the room change from 2 Kings to 2 Queens ● Finally he comes back and gives the rooms reserved of 2 Queen room THURSDAY 15 JULY ● Found out that there was NO drinking water in Burlington after being in the room for about an hour ● It was found that there was E coli in the drinking water ● This property did NOT contact us of the dangerous situation ● Hotel Did NOT Notify All guest of this problem - Only 3 rooms in our group received messages of the E coli in the drinking water ● We found out of the problem from another guest ● Best Western wouldn't take responsibility for NO drinking water ● The manager told guest that this was a City of Burlington problem ● They said we could BUY H2O @ $1.00 a bottle ● The property gives free H2O at Breakfast ● The Manager got a bit nasty with one of the guest in our group when she asked if the water issues did in fact effect this property ● Dave said he hadn't herd personally from government if the hotel was effected ● Best Western Huffman Mill Road took no real action to aid the guest in this situation FRIDAY 16 JULY 2021 ● Hotel offered a breakfast this morning as the drinking water situation had NOT changed ● Hotel would NOT provide FREE Water for All guest in the hotel who were effected by the E coli in the water ● BUT they have each day had FREE water at breakfast ● One of guest took 2 waters at breakfast and one of the ladies working in the breakfast room yelled at him and told him he could only have ONE (1) water per person ● I asked this same lady if there was USABLE ice and if so could I have some for my coffee ● She tells me yes then gets me ice ● I asked her again and she said this was good ice and not effected by the water “problem” ● A few minutes later she comes out grabs the ice from me and says the manager said we can't use the ice ● So why didn't you know that when you gave me the ice? She's clueless ● Better yet why do you have ice in your ice bins if the ice was made with water that could be contaminated? ● She just walks away from me ● They were trying to furnish coffee but the water had to be boiled then the coffee made to ensure No contamination ● By the time we left the hotel for the day the water situation still wasn't resolved ● Once back to the room after the tournament we receive a call saying that there will be boxed breakfast provided for tomorrow, but NO update on the drinking water situation ● Left for Home Didn't stay the last Night @ Best Western

Great location off the interstate and near many food choices.Had a small issue at check-in, but upon notification the manager personally addressed the issue beyond my expectations. The breakfast is fantastic. Highly recommend this establishment!

My children, a Reverand friend of the family and I stayed here and all agree we would come back to NC just because of the experience we had alone with the BW hotel. the room was clean and very comfortable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice room. Great bed. Shower wasn't good, but I told them, and I am sure they will fix it. It appears to be a family owned hotel and everyone worked to make our stay pleasant. I will stay there again in a heartbeat. Before planning you need to know that while indoors in Burlington is fine, outdoors often smells from the cattle yards.

This hotel was nice, quiet very clean and an overall good experience. The breakfast was good, hot and fresh. The room was clean and housekeeping was helpful with restocking towels and toiletries. I travel to Burlington on occasion to see an old friend. This trip was nice because we got to spend our Memorial day sitting by the pool.

We have been staying at this motel for many years when visiting the area. Have never had a negative experience here. The staff is always friendly and makes a genuine effort to make our visit enjoyable. As far as we are concerned, there is no reason to consider staying at any other motel.

I loved Every minute. Everything was beyond expectations. The dinner was delicious and the best I have had in a while. Very clean and well done. The ambiance is that if a higher branded hotel I will be back

Great place to stay and the towels were so soft. Nicely done. The breakfast was spot on, even with COVID protocols in place. Very clean inside and out and if it was warmer would have used the pool, it looked like a very pleasant area to hang out. Loves the ladies at the front desk, cheerful and professional, yet very personable.

We stayed here overnight to celebrate our son's Birthday. he lives in Graham, and we stay here whenever we visit. Welcomed when I arrived, and had has registered in the Building and floor I had requested. lady said she had seen my name on the reservation list that morning, ands remembered us from prior visits there. Room was clean, comfortable & quiet as usual. Doris, in the Breakfast area did the same. Also, it is so nice that they are back to their regular hot breakfast options, by using plastic disposable gloves. Nice return to NORMALCY !! Everything was kept clean, sanitized, and well stocked. On check out, the same lady the next morning, thanked us for staying, wished us safe travels, and looked forward to our return at another time---which we definitely will do ! Great clean, friendly, comfortable, and reasonable home away from home !

The staff here are exceptionally friendly. A breakfast buffet is included and has a huge selection, from waffles to biscuits & gravy to sausage to fresh fruit and more. Conveniently located. Excellent job with covid sanitization.

Generally when it's offered I don't mind paying $15 to $20 more for a better and bigger room but this suite was gigantic and it had a full size refrigerator wet bar pull out sofa recliner with an ottoman just a very nice room as a matter of fact I did not want to leave and I will definitely be making plans to come back

Wonderful front desk staff. Hotel is lovely and was a nice surprise for a somewhat older hotel. Hot breakfast felt Covid safe and clean with terrific options. Had dinner at attached restaurant, Grill 584 and the 45 min wait (Sat night) was well worth it! We were able to wait in the comfortable hotel lobby in front of a relaxing fireplace - then it was just a few steps to the restaurant when called to be seated. Dinner was awesome! Made for a good weekend.

Hotel service was decent. We appreciated the COVID precautions, but had to ask for towels and other supplies for our room like Kleenex, TP and trash liners. Our room had not been vacuumed prior to our arrival as we found popcorn on the floor. We were there with several other families for a sporting event and at least three of them found roaches in their room. The hot buffet breakfast was decent and we enjoyed the courtyard to sit and gather outside when the weather was nice. Overall it was ok, but I do not plan to stay again and would not recommend to others.

The staff, rooms, & amenities are great. Breakfast has a good spread, something for everyone. Efforts to keep everyone safe (covid) shows. This will always be my choice when I need a hotel in the area.

I stayed here while dropping off my daughter at school. The staff is wonderful/friendly, the room was large, clean and welcoming. The attached restaurant has a great menu and the included morning breakfast is a full buffet of fresh scrambled eggs (no powdered eggs here), home fries, bacon, pancakes, etc. If you're looking for a great place to stay in the Elon area...this is it!

We always stay at this hotel when in the area. Super place with employees who go extra steps to ensure your stay is remarkable. Very clean, sanitized, and extra precautions taken to ensure the safety of guests and employees. Breakfast is brown bag due to Covid19 regulations.

I want to first brag on the front desk clerk named Joyce. Every year our family meets in Burlington to celebrate my daughters birthday, and we always stay at this Best Western. Joyce remembers our family and we usually always get the same adjoining rooms as the year before. This year she went above and beyond, and took the time to buy balloons for the door of the room we were staying in so that when we arrived my daughter got a welcome surprise. Now that is customer service. We didn't even mention that it was her birthday, but from years past I suppose she remembered. Our family also LOVES the pool and the pavilion that is there. It is always clean and very well maintained. I would suggest this hotel to any one with children.

This is our 6th visit to this location. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished, the breakfast is wonderful and the amenities are great. They have a beautifully landscaped interior area with a pool and lots of tables and chairs with both sun and shade options. The attached restaurant is very good. Overall, a very nice place to stay with excellent staff.

Interior court yard became party central and two calls to the front desk did not stop the noise. Past midnight and a ten hour drive tomorrow. Since I can't get any sleep why not write my review now. I'd move to the parking lot side of the property but there's a party going on across the hall too.

I was so pleasantly surprised, this hotel was very clean and the hotel staff were highly professional yet very warm, caring and friendly. They made sure to sanitize everything I touched before they handed it to me: my credit card after use, the pen I signed their paperwork with, and even the money in their drawer had been sanitized. The bathroom tub was very clean as was the floor and toilet. The room itself was clean, all the decor was in great condition, and the bed was very comfortable. I asked for a poolside room, there was a sliding glass door out to a gorgeous partial under roof courtyard, and a beautiful clean pool. Gorgeous! Lots of tables and chairs with umbrellas, a fountain (although not in operation from the winter yet), a stage area, and lots of trees and plants. There is a workout room, a beautiful lobby area, guest laundry, a nice breakfast room (although closed due to Covid-19), vending, and much more. A great Family destination with lots of area for kids to play. There is a “Grill 584” on site accessed from the Lobby area. Lots of eateries and shopping, with Walmart a block away. Very convenient! Very clean, nice sized room. Would like queen beds instead of doubles, but they were comfy. Hot breakfast was very good, way better than most complimentary buffets you get. Definitely would book here again.

Hotel staff were nice and offered us shuttle service to and from a Shag Club party we were attending near there. Our room was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was better than most we've had.

We had a great stay in this Best Western Plus, with a very comfortable bed, tasty breakfast, good atmosphere, and friendly service. The staff were very helpful, from finding a good place to eat to just being generally helpful if we needed anything. We would recommend them just for all of that. Then, when we got home we realized that we'd left our jackets in the room. We called the hotel and they said they were found and being held for us. After talking to the manager, we agreed to use UPS. I paid for shipping and forwarded the label to the hotel. The manager himself took our jackets to the local UPS and gave them the label. The process just took a few days. We were really impressed with the quality and service while staying at the hotel and especially with their going above and beyond to get us back our lost jackets. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay at this hotel.

the room was really nice and clean. The beds were very easy to fall asleep and stay asleep on. The breakfast the next morning was so great with a lot of thing to choose from. The folks at the front desk were very nice to work with.

We were driving from Cape May, NJ to Atlanta and could drive no more. We found a great description of the Best Western in Burlington, NC on booking.com and did an about face on 85 to travel 10 miles back to get to it. It was worth every effort to do so. The staff was above par as was the room and the amenities.You rarely find a five-star restaurant with a hotel. We hit paydirt.

Great staff, great rooms, restaurant is good, breakfast is good rooms clean and quite. Hotel location is in a great location and has just about any option for any person, I have stayed here many time and it is always great.

Great location and convenient to the areas we needed to visit. Check-in was easy. All of the hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hot and good. Lots of variety to choose from and the fruit was fresh. The room was clean and comfortable with no issues. Highly recommend this hotel. It was perfect for our quick 1-night stay in Burlington. Also the restaurant adjoining the hotel was booming when we checked in. We had already eaten dinner on the road but wished we knew about the Grill 584 beforehand. The reviews are awesome and the menu looks great.

The lobby is beautiful. There was a life sized Santa in the lobby that was very impressive. The front desk person was polite, helpful and wished me a good nights sleep. It was dark outside but through the window, I could see a courtyard that was well kept. My room was clean & comfy. I did have a great sleep. I plan a lot of events and will consider this for anything I do in Burlington.

Good hotel and convenient to interstate. Clean and quiet room. Bathroom a little dated but still ok. Check in was quick and simple which was good since I arrived late in the evening after a long drive.

I've been to this hotel 3 times my 3rd time there were tiny roaches crawling in the fridge and dressers. We switched rooms it was fine until the next day when I kept smelling something awful it was a stink bugs on the faucet the whole time. The hallways also had roaches.

The best western of Burlington was a great place to stay. The upgrades in the room we're great. It's near shopping and attractions and restaurants. The breakfast that they provide it was out of this world. Will definitely stay there again on my visits to my hometown Burlington North Carolina.

One of the best, if not THE best, hotel experience we've had in years. Room was nicely furnished, king bed was comfortable, fitness center was clean, bright and full of new equipment. The breakfast was well stocked with a variety of options. The property was tastefully decorated, neat, and always well maintained during our three day stay. Above and beyond all this, EVERY staff member with whom we interacted was courteous, pleasant, and professional. Guest service is clearly a top priority for them. Probably the best value for the price we've ever had in a hotel.

location is a plus, check in was great because of the front desk staff; those ladies were awesome. Nice quiet hotels; is a lot bigger than it appears from the outside. lobby looks really nice. Price is great and breakfast is better than many.

This Hotel is a great place to stay! It is clean, neat and has wonderful customer service. Their breakfast is over the top! It has a wide variety to choose from. This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel. We will stay here anytime we visit Burlington, Nc.

My daughter has a severe milk allergy. The breakfast staff was so helpful and went out of their way to make sure she did not eat something with milk in it. They even came out wit the package labels and showed them to us. The complementary breakfast was great with plenty of options for everyone. The service we received would bring me back to this hotel again if I am back in the area again.

I've been coming to this hotel over the last 4 years. Always found it friendly, clean and a great place to relax, and due to its proximity to I40, a good base from which to visit sites around North Carolina.

Tub with shower, very clean, comfortable. Just little noisy in the hallway early in the morning. Breakfast very good. Eggs, waffles, juice, toast. Very good sausage gravy. Just with they had bacon. Had foam mattress which was wonderful! We visited family in the area.

Stop-over for one night. Place was beautiful. Wish I could have stayed longer. I loved the restaurant within and they had live guitarist playing. Lights outside in trees and fountain. Was nice. Actually a wedding rehearsal was going on. Lovely setting.

We stayed here for the first time when visiting our son, a student at Elon. This was a great value. The hotel is older and doesn't look all that inviting from the outside but we found it surprisingly nice. Always able to find parking. Only 2 floors high. Elevators fast & always available. Rooms were clean & decor was very nice. Beds were double instead of queen but that allowed ample room for appropriate furniture like a desk, table, chair, entertainment piece with nice sized refrig & drawers, & closet. The bathroom is a little tight w/ small doorway (due to age of hotel) if 2 are trying to get ready at the same time but there is a full length mirror outside of the bathroom & room has surprisingly good lighting. Bathroom also has good counter-space. Staff is friendly & does a nice job keeping it clean & well maintained. There r coin operated washer/dryers available, a beautiful outdoor, covered courtyard area with tables & outdoor pool. The attached restaurant, Grill 584, is a definite bonus...great food & ambiance and a large bar. Hotel has a great location. Easy access to route 40, close proximity to Elon University, & lots of restaurants & shopping right there on Huffman. The biggest negative was that our room smelled a little musty after being closed up for awhile. Great price! Most of the hotels raise their prices a lot for Elon events & well in advance. We got a great rate here & I would definitely stay here again. It met our needs.

We had the most lovely and relaxing stay. We had a delicious breakfast with the best coffee ever in a hotel. The lounge was welcoming. Dinner was lots of fun and had live music! The room was clean and spacious.

I enjoy best westerns very much most of the time everything is top notch, I only had a few tiny issues this time... shower head didn't work properly and there were no paintings on the walls, but other than that I was very comfortable.

We have stayed here in the past, and when it came time to evacuate coastal North Carolina because of Hurricane Dorian this hotel was our refuge of choice. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The property and rooms are always clean.

We didn't arrive to the hotel until nearly 1:30 am after calling to confirm that they had a room available. Luckily they did, and we didn't have to sleep in the car at the rest stop. The room must have been the last they had, as we were put at the very end of the first hall, which felt like we were being sent to the basement, because we had to walk down this long hallway the sloped downward. The room was neat and clean, although lighting was a bit dim. The room AC would make the squeaky sound every time the compressor kicked on, which was irritating but we eventually fell off to sleep. I missed breakfast, but hubby said it was okay, just a basic continental breakfast.

The staff is very helpful, the food is very good and the hotel is very well maintained. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Parking is plentiful and the receptionist gives exceptional directions on where to park to gain easy access to your room.

Aside from a slight odor in the room at check-in (similar to deoderizer used on carpet), which quickly went away, this was a little gem. The Greensboro hotels were busy, and this was accessible and affordable, with a great room, and amenities. The pool area was gorgeous, and we regretted not having time to relax there. This has been my second good experience with Best Western this year. The free buffet breakfast was free. Not great, but not awful.

The Best Western is located near lots of restaurants and they have a restaurant on site! The hotel was very clean, in great condition, and offered a hot full breakfast included with hotel stay. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure our family reunion was a success!

Initially when walking into the hotel, I was like ummmm. When I got to the room it was clean and outside by the pool was gorgeous!! Nice big overhead fans to keep you cool, eventhough it was extremely hot outside.

I just made an online reservation here today in which it said I could cancel and get a refund. I realized after I'd made the reservation that I would have to cancel it. I promptly canceled the online reservation expecting a full refund until I realized there's a $9.99 reservation fee. I travel frequently for business and I've never seen this before. Please be warned that if you cancel your reservation expecting a full refund, this property will keep a $9.99 fee. Unscrupulous business practices in my opinion.

This property was quite a surprising find! The attached restaurant had quite a variety, although it was more expensive than many. The room was typical, but modern and clean. The lobby area had some nice sofas and easy chairs for conversations. The hot breakfast and pool area looked nice, but we didn't take advantage of either. Overall, it was a nice property, and if my travels take me this way again,I'll seek it out.

this hotel was disgusting. I stayed here with a sports team and one of my teammates had to change rooms because of the pungent smell of smoke, despite the room being smoke free. The rooms were kept at a sweltering 80+ degrees and the front desk people were rude. To finish it off, I got lice from the hotel (I knew the sheets and pillows looked sketchy) and have been struggling to get rid of them ever since. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.

Dealing with David, in January 2019, to reserve rooms for son's graduation was very easy. Great communicator by phone and email. . We booked 6 rooms and had no issues. Hotel is clean and easy drive to campus. Nice restaurant grill 584 right at hotel for dinner. Breakfast each morning. Nice pool and outdoor area.

I arrived and the room seemed somewhat clean. When I returned at night after being out all day, my bed had just been tossed together, pillows thrown on the bed, shampoo not replenished and empty ones left in the bath, the tub takes over 30 min to drain and there was a big ugly black bug crawling around the room at night. I told the front desk and they moved me to a room next door that had been cleaned better. It's also easy to hear neighbors and when people walk in the halls.

I liked a lot this Hotel. The attendant was very kind with us. The room is big, the shower is great, the bed is very good, the pillows, the towels, everything good. The room also has TV, fridge, microwave, hairdryer. The restaurant 581 is very good and they bring to the room until 9pm. The breakfast is very good too and is for free. One night cost $140,00 I highly recommended this hotel, very good.

Hotel is average at best. Rooms are clean but old. Rate on line was substantially lower than when I walked in, so I had to stand at the front desk and make my reservation on line in order to get the lower rate. Would make a lot more sense for the front desk associate to be able to match the on line price.

Checked in on a Tuesday, went to extend my stay Friday , was told they were booked solid. Joyce , the manager , kept up with the cancellations and made sure I was able to stay there , not through one weekend but two.Great staff , nice rooms , very welcoming .

I stay at this hotel frequently when I travel back home and have seen it go through multiple renovations and upgrades. It now feels very high quality and upscale when you walk inside, it is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. This is my go to hotel in Burlington when I don't have my dogs with me. I use the Drury when I have the dogs.

Stopped there on the way to GA and on the way back. The first time we were there the shower was very difficult to use - hard to turn on and then either too hot or freezing - room was clean and beds comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly but very rude staff employee where you have breakfast in the morning - was very rude to my husband when he simply asked if they had any regular milk for coffee. The second time the room was clean again but tv turned on 3 times in the middle of the nite waking us and there were no toiletries in bathroom. The motel itself is nice and great outdoor pool patio area

Stayed here when attending a Duke basketball game.whole staff was excellent from check in to checkout.Breakfast was very good both days.This hotel was an excellent value.would definitely stay here again.

I don't usually stay at Best Western Hotels, but this one was convenient for us, so we gave it a try. Very well kept property. It is older, but kept very clean. Our room was large and comfortable. It was right along the inside courtyard, so we did hear some of that noise, other than that, it was quiet. I really liked the restaurant adjoining it - great place for dinner. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Good place outside of Durham, breakfast was good but not up to standards by other hotels like Hilton, rooms were noisy near the elevator, only stayed one night, Rooms were clean and spacious and had a mini frig

In town to tour Elon I got this hotel through a Priceline Express deal. I got 2 rooms, one for myself and one for teenage daughter. Even though I didn't request it, the lady at the front desk put us in adjoining rooms. Both rooms had 2 double beds, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Everything was clean, even the appliances, which I'm sometimes skeptical of. We were at the back of the building, so no road noise. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathrooms were also well stocked with towels. The hotel has a very nice restaurant that was busy on a Friday night. We didn't eat there, but it looked like it would be a good place to have dinner There is a complimentary breakfast buffet in the mornings, with lots of choices. Eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, hash browns, 2 different kinds of sausage, plus you could make your own waffles. Plus pastries, bagels, juices, milk, toast, coffee. All of the food and beverages we tried were fresh, and the dining area kept clean. There were only 2 minor things that made me give 4 stars out of 5. The layout of the hotel is weird. You can't get through the lobby or restaurant area to the rooms. You must go outside and in through one of 2 doors. It was pouring the rain the whole time so getting in and out meant getting wet. The other thing was water pressure and the shower/tub faucet in the bathroom. I worked with the faucet to try to get the best water pressure and never could get a good shower spray. It wasn't the worst ever, but it seems the fixtures for the tub need to be replaced as they were out of date and there was discoloration that looked like mold. (I don't think it was mold, but it didn't look good at all.) All in all, it was a very good experience and if our child decides to attend Elon we will stay again. It is very convenient to the University plus plenty of restaurants or shopping.

My husband and I really enjoy this hotel and usually stay at BW Plus on our Wedding Anniversary! We enjoy all that it has to offer! We really enjoy the restaurant next door. Everything is so nice and cozy and has the large hotel look but a very small & quaint feel!

Great stay! Very courteous front desk personnel. Unfortunately, the restaurant in the hotel is closed on Sundays so we went to a great Italian restaurant called Sal's on the recommendation of the front desk. It was delicious with great service.

The staff are really nice and friendly- and that is every one of them! we were travelling all day and wanted to just relax when we got there. found out the restaurant was there so we went in. what a GREAT meal and wonderful service. we ordered and were served quickly. this is really something because this was a Christmas weekend with all the parties scheduled here. I hope to visit here again!

This is a very clean and well maintained hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee was always available and fresh in the Lobby. In room internet worked great and the fitness room has good equipment and is available 24 hrs. Well stay here again when ever we're in the Burlington area.

We spent a night at the Best Western in Burlington after a Christmas Party. The room was great. The hotel appearance and staff were wonderful. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful, lots of items, eggs, sausage, biscuits, oatmeal, hot waffles, Danish, bagels, toast. Really great way to start the day.

Regarding the hotel appearance and personnel we were OK with all. The real surprise was the restaurant. This is a really classy place. We were treated like royalty, the food was excellent, and the prices were very fair. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area even just to sample the bar and restaurant.

Great place! Great staff! Phenomenal pool-side courtyard (seasonal). Great value. Easy access off of I-85/40! Have stayed here many times throughout the years. Several Family reunions held there. Give it a try!

I would not return to this hotel. The outside and lobby looked fine. The pics online were great. The room inside, though, looked run down. Called the front desk three times (4 am, 7 am and a few minutes afterwards, on the outside line) and let the phone ring 7-10 times. It was not answered. The heater in my room ran cold though it was on continuous at 73. I will say the bed was made up nicely with the pillows and the towel art was lovely.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while he attended a business meeting. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The rooms look over an outdoor courtyard pool. Lots of area to sit outside and enjoy the night air and you can stay out of the rain. The 5.8.4 restaurant on site catered the business dinner and the food was spectacular! Definitely would recommend this hotel.

We love staying at BW Plus. Great staff and Hotel in a great location. Our daughter is a student at Elon and this is our preferred place to stay when we visit her. We tried the restaurant for the first time and it is Very GOOD.

We stayed at this hotel recently for Family Week-end at Elon University. For the price, hotel level, and limited options in the area, this is a great option. Rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful and close to Elon. We also thought it was an added bonus to have a restaurant/bar in the hotel. Would stay here again and recommend for other Elon families.

The hotel layout is interesting in that it resembles the letter C--there are rooms in the front of the hotel and back and in the middle is a lovely pool and courtyard area as well as a spacious breakfast room. Location is very convenient and the restaurant attached to the hotel is even better than the hotel. Our room faced the busy road and the walls were paper thin-I could hear everything that was going on in the room next door. The shower and tub were a bit worn but I liked that they had extra towels available. Check in and out out was efficient though I was not recognized as a BW rewards member. The bathroom is smaller than most and there was no towel rack close to the shower (they need to install one over the toilet). I am giving it an extra star for its location and the fact that they were not greedy like other area hotels and significantly increase their rates during Elon's parent weekend. I would recommend requesting a room further away from the main road.

We were at this hotel one weekend night. It was a great room and stay! The buffet breakfast was full of variety eg. lots of fresh fruit, breads, hot items (eg. eggs), yoghurt, cereal selections etc. Also, plates, bowls and cutlery were not "throw away" ie. they were "real". This is better than most hotels, that use all throw away plates etc. The staff at reception and breakfast room, were friendly and helpful.

Not only was the room a great value, the staff friendly and helpful, the free breakfast extensive, and the location perfect, the restaurant was absolutely outstanding. We arrived late, and were greeted with smiles and quick service. The food and wine selections were wonderful. Five stars all the way!

I am very pleased with the level of service, the comfort, and the amenities at the Best Western Burlington. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and provide a helpful level of service. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, the breakfast is great, and the location is excellent.

Best Western was a comfortable, clean hotel. Great breakfast, internet, fitness room, pool and other amenities. There is a Walmart across the street in case you forgot anything and I would stay there again.

Stayed a couple of nights while visiting the area. Easy to find right off the interstate. Hotel was clean and comfy. Staff very helpful and professional. Good selection on breakfast buffet. Would stay here again.

Do you know of a restaurant is just really tired? Serving the same food (on the same plates, by the same wait staff) for the past 50 years? You know, the one that still has the original carpeting from when the building was built in the 1950's? That's what we have here - except it's a hotel. Pretty gross decor (sorry hotel staff, it's not personal, it's your decor, not you!) and bedding, and the worst mattress I have slept on in sooo many years. We stayed at the Hyatt Place in Durham the night before, and it was night and day. It's too bad because the Best Western is in a great location... but it's just not nice. Breakfast was pretty lousy too.

We got here on August 12, 2018 around shift change so both ladies were very helpful. I always prefer a first floor room because of my bad back. They got everything straight and really went out of their way to help. This is my second Best Western Plus to stay in in three weeks and I highly recommend them. Great job from everyone here!

This is one of the best, Best Western Hotels. The staff is always friendly and are able to help you quickly. The rooms are very clean, well stocked very good breakfast, pool is clean with a huge outdoor patio.

Last minute decision to stay overnight. Hotel price was reasonable ($127) for a Saturday. Hotel was clean, bed was small, but comfortable. Pillows are awful. Complimentary breakfast was pretty good. Would stay again.

This afforded me the best value for my money , Hotel pool area was beautiful,landscaping was beautiful the location was easy to access from the highway to the location was 5 mins tops, also lots of eating shopping area close by, lots of gas stations close by , best bang for your buck, highly recommended

We truly enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and very comfortable. Staff friendly, professional and helpful. Restaurant and lounge were great. Food was outstanding drinks were excellent. Barmaid was outstanding. Will definitely stay again on our next trip later this month.

Not sure about the bad reviews but I had a great time at this hotel. Everything was nice and clean and the lady at the front desk was very welcoming! I wish I could remember her name.. she was so great to me from just checking in to running into me in the halls. She made me feel right at home. I loved that this hotel offered a hot breakfast as well as other breakfast items such as bagels, cereals and muffins. Don't forget about room service from Grill 584. I didn't use the room service but it is available and I did order a cheeseburger which was the best. I especially loved the courtyard! I thought it was so beautiful. I can't say enough great things about this hotel. There is a small gym and guest washing machine and dryer. Plenty of outside access doors to come in so you won't have to walk a mile to your room. If I'm ever in Burlington again, this is definitely where I will stay.

For being Plus I thought it would be better than low end hotel. But I was wrong. First room they gave me was not even cleaned from prior visitor. Poor tub/shower faucet did not work right. Noise from people just standing in the hallway late at night talking.

Customer Service exceeded expectations. Wow it was amazing that The Desk Professional came up to my room and saw the stained extra bed and immediately came back and assisted me in changing the linen. We prepared the bed for my sister stay with me that night. Thank you.

Pool area is gorgeous! We arrived at 257 and our room was not ready...check in is at 3. They did put us in another room after about 10 mins because I had a fussy baby. SMALL bathroom. Breakfast buffet was good.

I normally do not stay at Best Western hotels, so this one was a pleasant surprise. It had a nice restaurant in the lobby and although I did not eat there, it was convenient if needed. The staff (Sonya especially) were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

When travelling from the Atlantic Coast to a destination more inland I was looking for a convenient place to spend one night. This hotel came to my attention. It's located perfectly, close to I40. Also, lots of restaurants and shopping opportunities are nearby. In the hotel everything was very clean and the people I came in contact with were very friendly.

Since I could not spend Christmas with my Grand Kids, I rented two rooms for two days at BW Burlington. It is convenient to the local mall and many restaurants. I took them shopping and to the movie at the mall and took one full day at the NC Zoo which is about 35-40 minutes away. BW Burlington is clearly an excellent value for the money!

I almost don't want to recommend this location for fear of it becoming overbooked. The hotel, staff and breakfast are wonders, especially for the price. It's across the street from Wal-Mart, Applebee, Bojangle, McDonald's and more. It also has an on-site restaurant that is always.

I stayed here while I was in town for my friends wedding. I was impressed with the facilities given the reasonable price. The hotel was clean throughout the common areas and the room. There are some good perks included. They have complimentary coffee/tea and a very good breakfast buffet that is included. Not your typical continental breakfast. The room was nice for the price. By no means was it fancy but it was a nice place to stay. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Burlington.

We enjoyed our stay. Accommodations very good. Staff was efficient and pleasant. Complimentary breakfast selection wide range. The restaurant on premises has a good menu. Ate early so missed live band.

Spacious, clean rooms. Has both work and sitting tables. Pair of USB charging ports on night stand. Indoor room access. Well landscaped facility. Beautiful and spacious pool area with large covered patio with ceiling fans, tables and chairs, fountain, barbeque grills and stage area. Security is excellent. Adjoining restaurant has good atmosphere and food is good.

This is a very large hotel in downtown Burlington, NC. It is recently remodeled and compares favorably with a Comfort Inn or an older Holiday Inn Express. Drawbacks include: only one elevator for a huge property, long walking distances including stairs to get to most rooms, loud old HVAC systems with the fan running constantly, paper thin walls and with mostly large contractor vehicles and busses in the parking lot. Another consideration is that they're a venue hotel for weddings and conferences. Over the weekends you'll get some smells and cussing going on. The good news is the staff is friendly and the breakfast is better than most in the average hotel category. But, you can do better.

We were visiting family member who goes to college at Elon. The stay was very comfortable. Clean Rooms , Hotel was very well kept, lobby area, hallways, dining area. There was a beautiful outdoor area overlooking the pool, tastefully decorated with Christmas decor. Breakfast was amazing! Glad we stayed here, felt cozy like home.

My week's stay here was very pleasant. I was there on business and felt comfortable.The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The front desk staff even offered suggestions for shopping and other local amenities. The staff at breakfast always greeted people as they came in and were willing to assist you. I was impressed with the overall cleanliness of the hotel both inside and out. The hotel restaurant/Grille had great food. Good value for the rates you pay.

I was extremely comfortable in the room, with my only complaint being that I had do complete about three hours computer worth of work at the desk, and when the heater kicked on it was blowing straight at my head. Otherwise, the room was nice, the bed was extremely comfortable, there was no noise and the restaurant is fantastic.

Some very caring staffers working here make this place nice for the public. There is a smell of mildew, which is a statewide year round problem in this state. The restaurant lounge is worth trying with a fair selection of drinks & pretty good Angus sliders at a reasonable price.

Very nice location for interstate needs. In addition, close to shopping which was a bonus for Christmas shopping on a business trip. Hotel was very clean and nice breakfast buffet. I have really enjoyed Best Westerns recently. Nice value and this location did not disappoint.

I have not stayed at a BW in years. My experience was great with pleasant, friendly staff and good food and service. This BW should have a billboard on the interstate advertising the most comfortable beds in North Carolina. I slept like a baby. Awesome experience.

Stayed here over Thanksgiving to visit our son & his family. WE arrived late Thanksgiving night, and the room we requested had not been assigned away from the street noise. Calvin helped rearrange our stay for 2 nights so that we did stay where we had requested. Clean, quiet, except for some occasional street noise, comfortable beds, nice buffet breakfast---kept well supplied & clean, and easy check out. Will stay here again when we next visit our son. This hotel does give a special rate to veterans--which I much appreciate.

Clean, great location, and friendly staff all made our stay enjoyable. Rooms are nicely decorated with great privacy. Front desk staff is always courteous and respectful. Check in and check out are very simple.

I live in Burlington NC and had lots of family in town for my sisters wedding, so I chose to stay at the hotel as well. It was convenient to the church for all the festivities, the courtyard was perfect for the family to be able to gather and the hot breakfast was great.

We stay here several times a year and we really love this place. They have great rates, an impressive breakfast buffet, great coffee, and a friendly and helpful staff! Joyce and Calvin are awesome! I definitely recommend this place!

This property needs updating and wouldn't be my first choice in Burlington. The staff was friendly and it is convenient but the rooms, etc. are tired at best. Our room was huge but there are now better choices in town.

Stayed here for 17 days - friendly staff, comfortable and clean with airy rooms; convenient location to University and Allamance Crossing malls, and next to route I40 for visiting Greensboro and Raleigh. Would definitely be a repeat visitor.

on the outside it does not look much different than any other motel but on the inside its a welcome surprise with clean large rooms comfortable beds and great value for what you get. Breakfast room is large and well supplied.

Have to admit I was a tish nervous as we pulled into the hotel. It is so much better inside. Looks to be recently renovated and clean. Rooms are spacious. The bath amenities aren't what I'm used to in a “plus”—basic soap and shampoo and conditioner only. Not even any lotion. Joyce at the front desk was so sweet. Was hoping the popcorn machine in the lobby would be up and running but 2nd night and we haven't seen any popcorn yet. If we return to Elon University and stay here, I would ask for a room away from the road. Lots of road noise last night that could be heard even over the ac fan. Still very good choice for the price. Clean, safe, comfy.

Rooms are extremely clean and up to date decor and very nice greeting at check-in.Only one other best Western I've stayed in came up to these stands. Don't miss if your in the area!

The room was clean and fairly comfortable, but the road outside is really noisy. I'm not sure if they are standard for BW, but the bed pillows were tiny. Also, the room was right next to an ice maker and some very noisy peopl loitering in the parking lot. We enjoyed the buffet and late checkout.

Stayed there for 2 nights. Clean and comfortable and the staff, especially front desk, was very helpful. The free breakfast was really nice, with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, country gravy, as well as fruit, cereals and waffles. Dining area very large and nice. Did not use pool. I did notice that the entire hotel seemed to have had recent updates done to the interior and was accommodating to the disabled. Very conveniently located near many restaurants, and even have one on premises. Great place to stay!

Great place to stay if you are on a budget. Staff was very friendly. The hotel itself is easily accessible to I-40 and very well kept inside. The courtyard is beautiful and the breakfast buffet had something for everyone. Outside pool was nice. The only thing we were hoping for was a hot tub. Beds were comfortable.

I stay here every time I come to Elon for my son games or move in/out it's always nice and clean the staff is always pleasant. I don't care to stay anywhere but here when visiting. The price is very reasonable and the breakfast is on point. I come from Florida and arrive late at times, they already has my account noted as a late arrival so my room stays secure for me. If you are looking for a place to feel like you are still home when you are away Best Western Plus Burlington is the place to stay.

Clean. Very friendly staff. Everything I needed was available. Good selection of breakfast items. Interent had no problems. Pool and fitness center were clean and well kept. Very nice, roomy outside lounging area with covered area; even when it rained there was ample room to relax outside.

Heading home from vacation, our truck broke--well and truly--in Burlington, NC--and unbeknownst to us, a mile from the Burlington Best Western Plus motel. It was a Sunday morning, and when the tow truck driver dropped us off, I poured out our tale of woe to the BW desk clerk. She immediately got the cleaning staff to ready up a room for us, even though it wasn't noon yet--we were in within 30 minutes, and gave us a very good rate. Ended up staying 3 nights while our truck was repaired. The BW staff couldn't have been more helpful, telling us about restaurants--and even a Wal Mart--within walking distance. Very nice place--huge covered outdoor patio and pool, perfect for relaxing while your truck is being repaired! Large breakfast area--never crowded--and very good food. there's even a restaurant in the motel--the 584--that serves excellent food. Even if you don't stay at the motel, try the restaurant. We couldn't have been happier, considering the circumstances--great place to spend three days of waiting.

The front desk was very polite and within minutes we had our room key, directions to the room and were on our way. They have a restaurant that they said had great reviews, but the meals were a little pricey. We went across the street for a pizza dinner at the Mellow Mushroom. Rooms were clean.

Fantastic stay very clean. Service was wonderful, sleeping quality was soft and fresh, rooms were clean the location was perfect and the rooms were with a good view. I loved the grill and the food was great. The popcorn was definitely an added amenity. The view of the lounge and pool area was a killer plus. What a nice place for a romantic getaway for a couple.

Comfortable bed with nice pillows. Quiet except at night when someone talked near wall in next room. Nice breakfast with better than average eggs, biscuits and real milk for the decent coffee. Odd access to the second floor room on a wing, but they're building an elevator. Pool looked nice with flowering trees but view overlooks a warehouse. Parking was tight in the front, forcing us to park in the dark back of the building which felt unsafe at night. Conveniently located near Elon and 24-hour Walmart for late night trips.

Great stay. Staff was so nice. We were planning to stay at another hotel but when we stopped at this hotel and saw how pretty the lobby was and how accommodating the staff was, we canceled our other reservation.Restaurant and pool lounge area are great. Pleasantly surprised! We are hoping to return during the next four years while our son is at Elon.

The staff at the front desk was excellent and loved the free breakfast in the morning. The pool area was a nice place to relax during the day or at night with a drink and the room was clean. Other than a minor issue with our refrigerator I would recommend this hotel. If you have a student going to Elon U, good place to stay since it is 10 mins from campus.

The hotel is nice. The only difficulty I had was room preference...when booking the website instructs you to make your room preference once there. Unfortunately, some staff makes it difficult to get anything other than a double room.

My wife and another couple were in Burlington to do some sightseeing for the weekend. Our friends made reservations in advance. I have stayed at many Best Western hotels but this one badly needs a renovation. It had an old building smell. The outdated carpet, curtains, and décor would be a start. Note that this is a two-story hotel but it does not have an elevator. The door to the hallway was smaller than the opening so at night light from the hall streamed in all around the door. We could easily hear noise from the hall. The air conditioning unit worked very well but it was noisy but not as noisy as the refrigerator. It was so loud, we had to turn it off. Despite the cosmetic deficiencies, our room was bright and clean. The room has all the usual amenities, flat screen television, refrigerator, microwave oven, iron, ironing board, etc. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I think the complimentary breakfast was better than usual.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small and pipes were loud. Overall Hotel is nice and clean. Although I did not use it, the court yard and pool area is looks nice and relaxing. The 584 Grill, is a good steak house and should be considered a must eat at.

I consider the Best Western Plus in Burlington the best hotel property I do business with. The staff ALWAYS go above and beyond to accommodate my employees needs. I assure you that you will be well taken care of when you stay here. I was recommended this hotel by a friend that lives in the Greensboro area. They have never let me down. I will continue to send them business because hands down they earn it.

WONDERFUL STAFF, Great breakfast, Wonderful pool, Clean and friendly. Will only stay here. Close to everything you may need. Great with my kids. They have a beautiful gated and covered area for sitting outside during day and night.

If you are visiting the Burlington area this is the best place to go hands down! The price is just right and if you are a military veteran it's even better! I was there for five days during my wait period for my apartment to become available. At the front desk Taylor and Juandrell both were very helpful and professional assisting me in every way possible! I had a 1000 questions and they were ready to assist me with a 1001 answers with a smile! The cleaning staff lead my Wilma went above and beyond to assist me with everything I needed for my room and was very patient and nice to me! I really appreciated their patients due to me extending my stay at the last minute several times! BTW whoever was the lady who prepared the breakfast is awesome! The free breakfast tasted good and it was more than enough variety for whatever food you were looking for (to include vegan) There is also an awesome bar attached to the hotel that food could contest any steak, sub or wing spot in the area! I forgot to mention the pool area and outside areas, wow! This hotel is highly recommended and I would NOT stay anywhere else! What a awesome, friendly well trained staff!

We stop at this motel every time we pass this way on vacation at the beach in NC. We have never been disappointed in the motel . The beds are comfortable,double not queen, but ok. The pool is always a favorite with the grandchildren. The grounds are nicely taken care of with scrubs pruned and trimmed. It looks like fresh paint on the exterior and the rooms also look refurbished. The management and the employees must take pride in this establishment The breakfast was good and the coffee hot.

Rooms were nice but double beds too small for four people. Most hotels have queen beds. Breakfast could have better quality food. Overall decent stay.Would stay again, but only with my spouse no kids.

A beautiful motel but our visit was marred by a maid who disturbed us the next morning when we had a "Do NOT disturb" sign on the door. Then when loading our vehicle, our room keys would not let us back into the building and we had to walk all the way around the motel (a long distance) to get back inside the maid lobby. The happened twice, once to my husband, one to me. The second time I was not treated very well.

Refurbished rooms, comfortable, very nice pool and pool area, super value. We were in town on a college visit to Elon. This place is a gem! The staff was great. Went out and grabbed take out and had a wonderful dinner by the pool

The hotel is making noticeable changes to modernize the outside appearance of the hotel and inside structure. It's been a while since I last stayed at Best Western, and the beds are as comfortable as ever. Plus, the staff is very attentive to your needs.

Nice continental breakfast with lots of choices. great outside patio and pool area, beds small. No elevator but only 2 floors which wasn't a problem for my family but could be for others. Restaurant was nice, don't recommend the steak. Location was awesome, lots of shopping and places to eat. Only one guest washer and dryer for entire hotel. Hotel was great for the price.

The hotel is in a great location. Everyone we encountered was friend, happy to be at work, very helpful and smiling. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff does a great job. Best of all the eggs are real not powered. yummy! The pool was clean, inviting and refreshing. The restaurant was nice, very busy with local traffic and delicious They have comfy beds, the rooms could be more soundproofed but overall I will absolutely come back.

I was a little worried when I pulled up, only because I couldn't imagine the beauty I saw in the photos. Upon entering the lobby, I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is beautiful. The courtyard/pool area is amazing with tons of seating a gorgeous fountain and very relaxing. My room was very nice and clean, the bed could have been a little more comfortable for my taste. The staff was awesome, the breakfast very nice with a great selection. The eating area is huge, not your typical "crammed in a small space". The restaurant is closed on Sunday so I didn't get to experience it. Overall a very nice experience.

Awesome experience with healthy selection of Morning Breakfast, Property is located near by to shopping malls, Food giants and other shopping centres. Staffs are very co-operative, apart from wifi connectivity issues everything looks good and highly recommendable for stay in Burlington Area.

Our stay was part of a sports group. The outdoor area was perfect for our team meetings and team meals. The staff was very accommodating and even provided space for our athletic trainer to provide treatments for athletes. The only negative was the double beds. When players are bunking together, the beds are small for 2 to share.

Very nice hotel with very friendly and helpful employees. We stay at this hotel once or twice a year while en route to our final destination.. Convenient to expressway and a good restaurant (Grill 5-8-4) adjacent to the hotel.

We stayed here for several days and the first night we stayed we had no idea what we were in for . We woke up to bed bugs ! My daughters were ate up ! We know for a fact it was because we saw one crawling on our bed ! My husband caught it (gross I know ) and took it to the lady at the front desk . We were moved to another room well unfortunately the air didn't work . So again we moved to another room and it seemed ok . The next morning my daughters were even worse ! We told the manager about our experience and he was more than helpful! He called the exterminator right away and said he would call us and let us know if there were indeed bed bugs . We didn't think he would call us . But to our surprise the manager did call us and told us that the room tested positive for bed bugs. He refunded our money and was very kind . He apologized repeatedly . The motel staff was very helpful and handled the matter very professionally!unfortunately we changed motels .

We stayed here Thurs-Sun in June. The room and bathroom was very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Beautiful outdoor patio with a lot of tables with umbrellas and also tables under a roof. The pool was very nice a little chilly but ok once you were in. The free breakfast every morning was not just continental. It had scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, hashbrown, sausage patties and links, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, and pastries. Also, juice, milk, yougurt, bagels and toast. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful We didnt have a chance to try the restaurant so couldnt comment on it

Our son attends Elon University and we stay exclusively at this hotel. They offer us a fair rate, the room is clean, and the staff is always very nice and accommodating. The express check out makes the stay even nicer.

The Best Western Burlington is an excellent place to stay. The 584 Grill and Bar offers delicious food and the service is great. Breakfast in the morning is way above average for a buffet. If you find yourself in Burlington and needing a place to stay The Best Western is it. The pool is also very nice and spacious.

Nice room, excellent staff ...breakfast was not good! I would recommend to stay here but find a tastier breakfast across the street...lots of restaurants within walkiing distance. The staff was excellent and helpful which made the stay very pleasurable

We stayed here while visiting family in the area. Based on the pictures I expected the hotel to be nicer than it actually was but it was ok. The rooms were newly updated but the building itself was fairly old. The housekeepers should probably pull back the curtains and dust behind them once in awhile. I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast or the adjoining restaurant.

Once again I had the opportunity to stay at the Best western Plus in Burlington, NC. I continue to be impressed by what I find there. It is a comfortable, relaxing, and well kept motel with very friendly staff. All on staff are ready and eager to help guests with any needs. The breakfast food service is the best I have ever experienced at any motel. I recommend this motel to anyone who visits the Burlington, NC area. I cannot comment on some of the amenities offered such as airport transportation and shuttle and taxi service. Whenever I visited we drove our own car.

This Best Western in Burlington NC is the best one I have seen. It looks nice & clean & friendly with a good attached restaurant & lounge. Definitely recommend for business, vacation, or just about any use. It was a little early for the pool to be open, but very nice area to sit outside with huge overhang to be out of the weather. Plenty of parking & close to plenty of restaurants & shopping too.

I had to change rooms and the staff was very accommodating. Great WIFI, great breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, and the rooms were very quiet. I had a peaceful sleep!! Conveniently located and the dinner restaurant at the hotel was at least a 4 star!!

As a travel nurse working night shift, it is often difficult for me to find a hotel that will allow me an early check in. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was kind, the manager was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel for business and travelers alike. The continental breakfast was actually good, and the beds were very comfortable. Despite youth soccer tournaments going on, I was able to sleep through the day.

It's cheap, but you get what you pay for. People are nice. Hotel really needs an update. No elevate so if you have much luggage or cannot carry your own, don't stay here. Not recommended for people who cannot carry luggage up stairs.

We had a great time at this hotel. The service staff was very friendly all the time! We hoped it was a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the courtyard a little more; but it was too chilly and windy. It would be a great space for any type of get together. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of options for everyone. My only recommendation would be to include a few choices that were lower in sugar or maybe more fruit options. It was very good though. There is coffee and tea in the lobby 24hrs which was nice. We found it very confusing to get to and from the room which was on the second floor. The halls all look the same making it challenging to navigate. The rooms have FULL size beds and not queens....so 2 people per bed can get snug unless you are ok with that. We had a microwave and fridge in room. The bathroom was a normal bathroom; nothing too exciting here. The amenities in the bathroom could use an upgrade; but hey it's just little things there. The bar attached to the motel had live music and it seemed popular. They had laundry rooms but I didn't notice what the fee was. Overall we had a wonderful time and would stay here again when in the area.

Great hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Perfect location. Close to everything but easy to get off the main road. Lobby was also comfortable to relax in. Friendly and helpful staff. On a main road but I could easily access a back road for good running routes.

I think I was asleep before my head hit the pillow. It was warm and cozy. You don't a lot of noise some place you stay. Very friendly. They have an amazing pool, bar and restaurant. There's also a fitness center. All for a reasonable rate.

Great location. Great accommodations. Great reception. My reservation was waiting on me to arrive and they checked me in quickly and efficiently. The room was nicely updated, clean and recently remodeled. If I had one suggestion it would be that they put in a charging station capable of accommodating more than one device. One on the night stand is not sufficient and the one on the desk lamp powers down with the lamp switch.

Loved our stay here! The hotel is very beautiful w updated decor and very clean. It was very quiet our entire stay, w no noise during the day or night. The beds were very comfortable, we slept soundly, and the shower water pressure was great. Every staff member was very friendly, from check in, housekeeping, the breakfast room, and maintenance. We were always given a polite and friendly "hello" when passing by in the hallways. We were even allowed to check in two hours early! The hot breakfast bar was great! Eggs, sausage, hash, waffles, gravy, biscuits, grits/oatmeal, bagels, muffins, dry cereal, a yogurt bar, and juice. And the coffee is delicious! The hotel is located right off of 40. The road is busy, but is surrounded by all types of conveniences. There is a Wal-Mart right there and Holly Hill Mall a little further down. So many eating places - Cracker Barrel, Applebee's, o'Charleys, Golden Corral, Mellow Mushroom, Long Horn, Mongolian, Firepit Wings, Chick-Fil-A, Arby's, Bojangles, McDonalds, Taco Bell, KFC, Krispy Kreme, and more - all right there. Plus, there are also several antique shops located in the near area. There are two things that I can mention that could be improved. One is that housekeeping comes to the rooms early. They ask if you need anything from them, but we had not even had our showers yet (especially if you get up and go to bfast first), so we were not able to let them in and our room was not tidied. Plus, since they came before we had a chance to shower, we then used our towels, and didn't have clean ones for later on. The other is that, as awesome as the breakfast is, it wasn't kept as clean as it could have been. There was someone that kept the food fresh and refilled, but the messes were not kept cleaned up. Biscuit crumbs, splattered gravy on the counter, spilled juice, full trash cans, and I had to mix my coffee at a table bc the coffee bar was full of sugar and spills. But honestly, the good of this hotel far exceeds these small issues! Our stay was wonderful and the price was on the lower end for all of this! We felt safe and comfortable here and will stay here again!

I've stayed at the Best Western in Burlington 4 times, and had good experiences each time. From the front desk through the cleaning, cooking and prepping staff, they've never disappointed. It's my go-to place when visiting Elon University, but can easily see it being a place to stay for any occasion. Very convenient, good (free) breakfast, and attached to one of the better restaurants in the area (make reservations in advance).

Easy on and off the interstate for travelers. The hotel has a lovely courtyard and pool. The breakfast options were good ones. Everything was well maintained. The staff was friendly. The bathroom could be a tad larger, but that's my only criticism. Overall an excellent experience! We would definitely stay there again.

Convenient to Elon University on an exit strip of chain restaurants and stores. Two story older hotel that looks to have gotten a redo in the last dozen years. May have been an elevator but had that 70's motel feel as we took the stairs to the second floor. But the corridors were clean and the room was decent. If you stay here and I wouldn't tell you to not, it has some plusses, just take note. It is a big "C" shaped building with a center pool courtyard area that looked to be very nicely laid out. Would be great for a family during warm weather. The lobby was nice as was the breakfast room. And there was a decent enough (Grill 5.8.4) restaurant connected. Just don't let them put you in a room out on the frontside!!!! Something was mentioned at check in that had me wonder. We used an online booking service (that starts with the letter "T" that isn't this site) and were told we'd get a better rate (and room?) if we booked direct. What we got was a room on the front maybe 50' from the "little" five-lane strip of cars and bright lights from all of those chains. I did my best to block out the light but the drapes didn't cover. And the ear plugs were a must but still didn't block out all traffic. Just get a room on the other side of the hall (courtyard view) or the back of the complex. It wasn't busy at all the first night but too full to move the second. The bigger issue was the prison camp search spotlights in the hall way and the room door that was too small for the opening. There was a solid 1/2" gap of light around the whole door and a 2' x 2' ceiling panel spot light inches from the door in the corridor. This made for enough light getting in from the hallway to seem like it was day time in the middle of the night. I tried shoving a half dozen towels in the crack with limited success. Just WAY too bright. May I suggest dimmers? Pick a different room location and you might be happier. At least with the noise. We could understand the phone conversation in the room next door. I think noise was always an issue bc the reno included a full ceiling of sound panels. The walls did not. The staff was friendly. Location decent and about as close to the school as you can get. Decent option. Just request a better room location.

This hotel clean. the staff was friendly. the full breakfast buffet was great. This hotel is conveniently located near the interstate, shopping and restaurants. parking lot well lite and felt safe to leave vehicle.

This hotel is very nice and close to everything. We were there for Elon's homecoming. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel. The restaurant is also very good. Also enjoy the free breakfast.

After a seventy five mile bicycle ride this was a great place to unwind and get ready for the next days ride. The breakfast was great and bed and room comfortable. All that this hotel needs is an elevator.

This hotel is somehow a AAA 4 Diamond hotel and the host hotel for Elon, but it is extremely lack disappointing. As a luxury hospitality professional, I was not expecting the level of service of say a Fairmont, but I was surprised when the front desk issued me an extra room key without checking my id. This is an extreme breach of security. My room smelled like cigarette smoke throughout the entire stay despite their being 3, tacky no smoking signs. Our room was also extremely humidm even compared to other rooms in the hotel. The windows were completely closed, but it was somehow always humid and stuffy. The beds were uncomfortable. At times I did not feel entirely safe staying at this hotel and felt the need to deadbolt & lock the door. The staff barely engaged with guests and did nothing to welcome or greet me upon arrival. This hotel is extremely disappointing overall.

Was booked as part of a conference reservation that we were attending in the immediate area. Room was clean and nicely equipped, breakfast was typical,walls seemed a bit thin (or our neighbors really had their TV cranked), 2 story but no elevator. Was on the upside of a good experience I'd give them a "B". Would definitely consider them if I was staying in the area on my on accord.

Stopped here on the way to visit family in Georgia - was so impressed! Very friendly staff, the room and grounds were immaculate, and the Continental breakfast was superb!!! Highly recommend! Also beautiful pool And courtyard !

We've stayed at many different places when in Burlington, and this Best Western was much better than most of them. The bathroom could have used some updates, as others have mentioned, but the entire room was very clean and had no obnoxious odor, the bed very comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was good and plentiful. The breakfast room was large and I didn't notice anyone who couldn't find a table. Other than some very loud voices in the hall at 3 a.m., the hotel was very quiet. The pool and surrounding area outdoors was absolute lovely. We'd definitely stay at this Best Western again when in Burlington.

The courtyard and the pool area of the hotel was lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to Elon but... Our room was old and tired and the door to the hallway was beaten up and very flimsy. We could hear every sound and conversation from the rooms next to us. Our sheets were soft, but the pillows were very small and lumpy. On the plus side, the AC unit worked well and was very quiet. For the money, we've had better rooms elsewhere.

The rooms where nice and the price was very reasonable. The breakfast was very good and so much to offer. This was a family trip and we each enjoyed our stay. The hotel was full but amazingly quiet. We do plan on another trip and will stay at another Best Western.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and plan to stay there again. With our son at college close by (Elon) we will be traveling here often. We picked Best Western because we know we will always get great quality at a great price. The free breakfast is a huge plus for a family of 5. We also love the pool and fitness room!

Although we stayed only one night, it was very pleasurable. The room was spotless and comfortable. The lobby was large and welcoming. Thay have a large atrium area outside by the pool. It is covered with tables and large ceiling fans. It is a very enjoyable area to sit and read or have a pleasant conversation. I will definitely be staying here again.

As a parent of an Elon University student, I would recommend staying at the Best Western Plus because it is a very comfortable and clean hotel that is located very close to campus. The staff here goes out of their way to assist you with any and every question or concern, and the outdoor sitting area/pool is just a nice place to sit and relax after a busy day. We will return but have learned that it's popular place so book it early!

Location,people and the rate was great. Next time I'm in the area I will stay here. From check in to check out was ALL GOOD. The breakfast the bed the tub the tv the room was all good. They treated me like they did not want me to leave. The staff is a real staff of likable people.

We were booked in another motel in Burlington but there had been a watermain break in the area so we were sent to the Best Western Plus. It is very attractive and the service was good. Would recommend it to all visiting the area.

Room was fine. Three of us shared a room. The desk clerk was very nice. Breakfast was horrible. The waffles were gross. Pool looked nice. We didn't swim. Restaurants across the street were good. The waitress was very nice.

Very clean and quiet. Great location, adjacent to shopping center and malls. The outdoor pool was very clean and refreshing, There is a large covered area with tables next to the pool. Staff went out of their way to help with any questions we had. The breakfast is outstanding and had everything anybody would want or need to start the day off right. I would recommend this hotel for you are coming to Burlington NC.

We stayed last night at this hotel, and it's hands down the most beautiful Best Western I have ever stayed at. The property is expansive and gorgeous, with the restaurant 584 attached to it. The menu at 584 was varied, and the steak I had was delicious. Our waiter, Dante, was topnotch, very professional, kind, and respectful. The lobby of this Best Western is very cozy with comfortable furniture. The free breakfast was standard fare with hot items also included. Our room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and we had free HBO. There was a great ice machine on our floor, and a beautiful kidney shaped pool. You can't go wrong staying here.

We had stayed here one night last summer, and it was great, so we stayed here again July 29 this summer. We had two rooms, and one was fine. I had made these reservations more than a month ago, but the room I was put in was right by the back door and right beside a family reunion. As we walked past the family reunion, it did not look like a bedroom, but was set up as a party room. The people at that family reunion were still talking loudly into the night, I know well after 1 a.m. Our room had a door that went into that room, so I think the noise could be heard through that door as well as through the wall. When I checked out, I told the woman at the desk that I had reserved more than a month ago and was put by the back door and beside a family reunion which went on into the night. I told her I would never stay in that room again. She took off $30 (and $2.93 tax), but since the room was $117.54, I thought more should have been taken off since we could not sleep. She was nice and said that was all she could take off. I suppose other than getting almost no sleep the night before a big family reunion, the place is alright. If we stay there next year, I will request that we not be put in that room.

We arrived late and had a university tour the next morning. The hotel is nice. Room is clean. Refrigerator and microwave both worked. Beds were comfy. Breakfast had several options, both hot and cold. We were there for no more than 10 hours, but were well-satisfied with the experience. We used points for this stay and all went smoothly with it. The staff was on the ball, as my husband made the reservation and my daughter and I used the room. there was no problem with the points being in his name and us using them.

I have stayed at this Best Western several times in the last four years. It is a very good choice. The beds are comfortable, the bath rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious. There is a laundry area for guest with a washer and dryer. The outdoor pool and patio is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly.

I go to this hotel every time I'm in town and I keep coming and that's because of the service and cleanliness!! They have a hugh breakfast, gym and other amenities. Check out Mellow Mushroom across the street. I love their pizza!!!

Our updated suite was attractive and bed were very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food in Grill 584 was very tasty and Chef Dave provided delicious buffet for our rehearsal dinner! Lee, the Banquet Coordinator was wonderful to work with!

We have been coming to this hotel for years now, my family union has always been at this best western every August . When I was little I used to love this hotel now that I'm older I see did he have yet to change anything I need to update this hotel. We actually compared a picture from 1992 to 2007 and it was the same blankets smh. It is an overall good hotel they just need to step it up.

We have been staying at Best Western Burlington, NC for over 20 years to visit family in the area. It is by far the best hotel in the area for the price. The manager and staff have become like family to us. The breakfast that is provided is top notch, and will meet everyone's taste.

We needed a hotel to stay in that was a half way point in our family trip. We came across this hotel and was pleasantly surprised with a nice older hotel and great staff. I would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in the area. We will definitely stay again if we end up in the area again.

One the road, we were. This was a one-niter. Checked in after midnight - no problem. Design was great: 2 stories, with ample parking in a convenient for loading\\unloading horseshoe shape. There was a clean spacious outdoor pool in the center with lots of shaded area and tables if you preferred. Breakfast included and delicious. There were numerous teenage soccer and baseball teams there.

We have family that lives in town. We always stay here when visiting. We didn't get to use the pool this time because we were in town for a wedding but the pool area is great in the summer and the covered courtyard is beautiful. Breakfast is good wide variety.

Hotel is very nice & pleasant. I've stayed here before about 2 yrs ago. Conveniently located from hwy exit, very family oriented, near restaurants & shopping. I will stay here again. The room prices are good.

We happened to have a second floor room that looked out over the courtyard/pool area and wound up listening to partiers yelling and carrying on well into the night. There isn't much insulation going on in this place because even people having a normal conversation in the room next door sounded like they were in the room with us. We called the desk twice and were told that the courtyard closes at 11:30 and they would do what they could. That turned out to be nothing. Finally I went to the front desk and asked to be moved. Lamar was working there and was very understanding and immediately found another room for us well away from the partiers. I wish I could give Lamar a separate 4 star review, but unfortunately I can't. His bosses shouldn't put him in that position. If the courtyard closes at 11:30 they need to come up with a way to see that it's emptied and closed or do away with the policy altogether and open a nightclub. The room we moved to was the same as the one we left; Paper thin walls and daylight around the door, but we were able to sleep at least. My recommendation to travelers in Burlington is to find another place to stay.

We went to a local shag club event and stayed at this motel for one night. Big mistake. We got back around midnight and decided we needed some food, went to IHOP, came back around 1:15 a.m., trying to get ready for bed we heard loud music, laughing and carrying on outside our room on the patio area. My husband called the front desk to ask how much longer this would be going on and was told "should be winding down any time now". Fast forward to 2:45 a.m. when they finally got done partying. They were having a wedding reception outside by the pool. My husband told the front desk person that this problem was self correcting. When she asked what he meant by that he said "We won't be staying here again."

Clean, comfortable, rooms at an attractive price. The entire place was spotless, with people working around the clock to keep it that way. The Pool was immaculate and the grounds very attractive. The staff takes pride in their work.

When I am in town again, I'll make sure to stay at the Burlington, NC Best Western Plus! Lot's of amenities, however I was too busy with business, next time I'll bring the family and I'll let them enjoy the amenities! Thanks and let the good times roll!

My daughter just graduated from Elon and this BW has been my family's favorite hotel for the past 4 years! Rooms are clean and comfortable. Won't find a nicer staff in North Carolina! Always ate at least one meal at Grill 584. Will miss staying with you!

Stayed there for 2 nights. Was very impressed with the cleanliness of the premises, the kindness of the staff and the breakfast selection. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Parking was ample and we did not get to use the outdoor pool due to the temperature. Very close to the highway.

We visit Burlington twice a year for business and have stayed several times at this location for several days at a time. The easy access off the freeway is helpful. The rooms are clean, however, the bedding is dated, with the flat, thin dark colored bedspreads. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very convenient after a long day of driving. The breakfasts are the predictable fare and the coffee is good. Everything is nicely maintained, so it makes for a decent stay.

The Best Western Plus in Burlington, NC is one of the finest hotels I have experienced. I recently visited the Burlington area and wanted a comfortable place to relax. Everything about my stay was memorable. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff. Everyone, from front desk to those who serviced the rooms, was friendly and took pride in what they did to bring service to guest. I advise anyone who visits the Burlington, NC area and is looking for the best place to stay to contact the Best Western Plus.

One of the best places in town. Close to University, Restaurants, Shopping. Staff is accommodating, friendly and professional, rooms are clean. Like being at home when you're not. I highly recommend. The restaurant and lounge is classy and affordably priced. Hotel also offers hot breakfast in the mornings.

Stayed at Best Western Burlington NC for nephew's wedding weekend and I have to say that the experience was simply amazing! The front desk agent as well as every other staff member that we encountered were extremely professional and friendly and helpful. Staff member followed up after check in to make sure we were pleased with our room and we were. It was perfect. Plenty of space to move around. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and convenient for us and my elderly parents who were staying there as well. Love the location. Quick drive to store and restaurants. Very clean property. would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Kudos!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I only stayed for a night while in town for a wedding. I called the hotel to book my room and the hotel manager Drell was very professional and very intensive to my needs. Will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I'm in town. GREAT SERVICE!

Stayed two nights. On the second day, our room didn't get cleaned. Complained to the desk clerk and was supposed to get a call from the General Manager, David Gant. After a couple days, I had to call him. He said there was nothing he could do. Ugh!

We stayed at this hotel when we travelled to pick up our daughter at Elon University. The price especially the Elon parent rate was excellent. The service was great and the hotel was really clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful courtyard, excellent restaurant, and nice rooms. Conveniently located of I-85 in Burlington. Close to shopping and many choices of restaurants but my favorite is right in the hotel, Grill 584..

When we arrived at our room at the end of a long day, we discovered bread crumbs on the sheets of both of our double beds. Evidently the bed sheets had not been changed from their previous occupants. Since it was very late in the day, we had already showered and unpacked, and we had to get up very early the next day, we did not call the front desk to ask for a new room. When we checked out, we mentioned the problem to the person at the front desk, who simply said that we should have called the night before. There seemed to be little surprise or sympathy and no offer to reduce our bill, for example.

Older but clean, we would stay again. The restaurant connected to the motel is great. The staff was friendly and the maid service was exceptional. Right beside Cracker Barrel. Very close to Alamance Shopping Center.

Located literally about 10 minutes from just about everything in the Burlington/Elon/Gibsonville/Graham area. Tremendously nice staff, especially Joyce at the front desk. Great breakfast spread, clean, fresh, and well tended to. Immaculate rooms. Great place to stay while in the area!

The location is very close to Elon University and to restaurants and other shops. Staff is very professional, courteous and friendly. Hotel is older but was clean and the complimentary breakfast is decent. I definitely recommend for business traveler and for those who are visiting Elon.

Our meeting was held here again this year and everything was wonderful, as usual. I needed to change the location of my room at check in and this was done with no problem. Ate at the rest. this time for the first time and the food was excellent!

I came to Burlington for my son's wedding, as a single female travelling on my own I found all the staff friendly and the hotel really comfy and homely. All that I wanted was there if I wanted it, the room was more than great for my needs. I can't say I've stayed anywhere better & I have been to a lot of places.

This is a great hotel. Very clean with a hearty, hot breakfast. There is an award winning local restaurant attached with live music. It is easily accessed just off of I40. The staff very accommodating. Will definitely return

I was only there for a night but it was a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, and the staff was helpful. it was the perfect place to stay for a quick trip. The continental breakfast was the same as I have experienced in the past, if I had any recommendation on that it would be to not combine the sausage with the hash browns, as a vegetarian that was something that bothered me, but not a huge deal either.

Whenever I visit my brother and his family in Burlington N.C. I always stay at this location. The reason for that is because I have never had a bad stay here and I have been choosing this location since 2004. In this era of " lack of customer service", I believe this speaks volumes for Best Western PLUS Burlington, N.C.

20+ relative stayed at the hotel for mom's 90th birthday party. Although the main party was held at the retirement home we reserved a conference room for the weekend to gather in. All relatives had good experiences at the hotel.

Always enjoy staying at this specific location! This location continuously has excellent customer service, excellent breakfast buffet and clean rooms! Anytime I am around the Burlington area, this is the only hotel I will consider.

Nice hotel and room but when I turned on the heating there was mold on it that went into the air. Could hardly breath the next morning. The pillows were way too small and too hard. Excellent free breakfast.

We arrived late on a Saturday and departed Sunday morning after breakfast, a complementary breakfast that was very nice. We stayed in a Hampton Inn in Clemson, SC the previous night, and the Best Western Plus was far superior and it cost significantly less. Room furnishings were new and clean, bed was comfortable. Lobby and other common areas were nicely decorated, the breakfast area was spacious and nicely furnished. The staff was attentive and constantly refilled the breakfast buffet, which included eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, and other standard fare. The staff was very pleasant and seemed to appreciate the customers. I wish we had arrived earlier on Saturday, because the menu at the attached restaurant (Grill 5-8-4) looked terrific, and other reviews of the food were quite good. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, we would certainly stay here again.

Staff and service were great. Ate at Grill 5 8 4 on site. Seafood sampler was really good. We always stay at BW because of their GREAT rewards program. Now that we've eat at Grill 5 8 4 I would stay at this BW over the 3 other choices in that area because of their on-site restaurant. We like a comfortable bed and good food!

Cracks around entrance door to room was quite annoying and light and noise was a problem because of this. The staff was good in all instances and I cannot fault them at all. There are a number of restaurants near the hotel but stay away from Pergos Italian restaurant nearby.

Like this hotel for convenience, service, quality, cleanliness and restaurant/lounge. Also, the food is of a very high quality. Enjoyed the music in the lounge, very relaxing after a hard travel day. Would definitely stay every time we're in town.

This was our first stay at a Best Western Plus hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and the location worked well for our visit. The lobby is updated and attractive with a friendly staff. Our check-in was quick. We would recommend this hotel to our friends.

Before I knew the quality of the Best Western, I was staying at the Ramada Inn. The Best Western is by far BETTER than the Ramada Inn, However, if the Best Western were to get their breakfast up to par like the Ramada Inn, the experience would be that much better. A better breakfast would enhance the BW quality stay.

OK rooms, food, décor, etc., nothing special. Courtyard in the center of the hotel is nice. Fitness room could use an update. Location is good. No problems with hotel staff. Express check-out was not offered.

Don't necessary judge this hotel by the outside appearance. The interior of this hotel and the rooms have recently been updated and the rooms are very nice and affordable. The adjacent restaurant has very good food also. The staff is very professional and helpful. We will definitely stay here again if we are in this area.

This a great value hotel with a good restaurant (584 Grill). The staff is excellent! The Hotel and Rooms are very clean, but need to be REFRESHED. I don't like the new small BEST Western Pillows. The free breakfast has a complete offering, from eggs to fresh fruits. We alway stay at this hotel, since it very convent to Elon University. The outdoor pool area is nice addition during the warm North Carolina Days.

The room was nice but the mattress provided a poor nights rest. The bathroom needed to be cleaned better in the corners and the commode bowl. The door needs to be rehung because there is one sixteenth inch of light coming in around the door at night due to cracks.

My husband and I were traveling back to Ohio from the Outer Banks and needed a room the night. We have stayed at Best Westerns in the past and have always had good luck with them. We seen this Best Western Plus and decided to stop. Rooms were very nice and very clean. The courtyard with the pool was beautiful!! Room rates were very reasonable and free breakfast in the morning! We had our breakfast in the courtyard...they have nice tables & chairs set up with umbrellas. Breakfast was also very good. I highly recommend this hotel!!
