Best Western Auburndale Inn & Suites

My teen and I were traveling for baseball. All the hotels near the park were booked but I found Best Western. It's 20 minutes away from the ballpark in Winter Haven and about 18 minutes away from Tiger Town Park in Lakeland. We had to go to both so thankfully they weren't far. Auburndale is a small industrial town that isn't inviting-at least not to me- but the Best Western made our stay comfortable and safe. The staff is friendly, their small snack store is open 24 hours, which my kid loved. I loved the room. Super clean, no carpet, and no bed bugs! The shower was also amazing. I didn't get a chance to try breakfast or go into the pool. Walmart is around the corner, which was a plus. And McDonald's was also nearby, open 24hrs. Another win for my kid. Overall, great place to stay. Even as I was checking out there was a woman cleaning the foyer! I checked in at 9pm Friday night and left 11am Sunday morning. If you're in the area for baseball or other reasons, I highly recommend them.

The hotel was kept very clean. The staff were nice, pleasant to chat with, and if we needed anything they were quick to assist. They went above & beyond for our special needs son, Miss Sherry was a God send. Ashley was also amazing. Miss Charlicia made booking a breeze & her customer service was a breath of fresh air.

The staff was very professional and kind the house keepers were all wonderful so respectful and friendly. Sherry and Tiffany were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful as well. Many different choices to choose from. Tiffany and Sherry were both excellent as well. Thank you for such an amazing experience. We will be using this location for our family visits.

Breakfast wasn't all that it could have been the eggs tasted like grit, they sausage was horrible and the biscuits were cold, could have had the biscuits in some sort of warmer. Wasn't really to many options to choose from for a family staying put of town.

sheets were stained and dirty, both rooms smelled like mold, and one smelled like cigarettes, our son whom stayed in one of the rooms came home feeling sick, blowing his nose, and coughing his head off.

Conveniently located with clean and neat rooms and friendly staff. Did not make use of the amenities due to my short stay. Price is reasonable. Good value for money. Would recommend it.

A Very Pleasant Surprise! Great staff, great room, totally comfortable. Very quiet and very clean. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this property. I was looking for a decent room for a good price. I got the good price but ended up with an EXCELLENT room.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Who knew a work trip would turn into a mini vacation? I booked the Best Western Auburndale Inn & Suites thinking, It's two nights close to LEGOLAND I just need a bed and a shower. Boy, was I wrong! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the manager a tall gentleman whose name I wish I could remember (I do remember he rides a Harley-Davidson to work, so that automatically makes him cool). He was friendly, professional, gave perfect directions, and checked me in so fast I barely had time to admire the lobby. Speaking of the lobby, it's not huge, but it's clean, stylish, and says, Welcome now go enjoy yourself. Then I opened the door to my suite… I actually looked around to make sure they hadn't accidentally given me the presidential suite! This room was HUGE! Two 50-inch TVs, a kitchenette, sofa bed, king-size bed, plenty of room to stretch out, and enough space that if I got lost, Google Maps might've helped me find the bathroom. Now let's talk about the bed whoever picked those mattresses deserves a bonus. Five fluffy pillows, soft sheets, and a comforter so cozy I seriously considered calling my boss and saying, Unfortunately, I won't be making it today my bed has requested another meeting. And the silence WOW! Usually in hotels you hear kids practicing for the Olympics upstairs, doors slamming, toilets flushing, someone watching an action movie at full volume, and a family reunion happening next door. Not here! It was so quiet I checked twice to make sure I didn't accidentally book a hotel inside a library. Then came breakfast… Listen I thought I was walking into a continental breakfast. Instead, I walked into what looked like a miniature Publix! The waffle station had enough toppings to make a five-star dessert strawberries, peanuts, syrups, whipped goodness I half expected someone to ask if I wanted sprinkles. The refrigerators were packed with yogurt, boiled eggs, bottled water, sparkling water, iced coffee, juices I wouldn't have been surprised if they had filet mignon hidden behind the orange juice. This place thought of EVERYTHING. I came expecting just somewhere to sleep. Instead, I found one of the nicest, cleanest, quietest, and friendliest hotels I've stayed at in a long time. The next time work brings me anywhere near Auburndale, I'm staying here again. Heck I might even invent a business trip just so I can come back. Best Western Auburndale you absolutely nailed it. Keep doing what you're doing because you've earned yourself a customer for life!

It was clean and affordable. Could have a guest washer dryer. Better breakfast items maybe different cereal, muffins ,granola bars blueberry fruit cups , doughnuts. Hot tub. Cost of incidentally like candy was high.

Rooms were very spacious, nice and clean. The staff was very polite. I have family in Auburndale so I will definitely be staying at this best western for every trip from now on. The price was very reasonable also

Got yelled at by the morning kitchen staff in front of the whole room full of guests for touching my own biscuit with my hand. (It was the only biscuit left in the case. She was very rude. I stay in hotels regularly for work and this is the first and only time I have been yelled at. Not sure if I'll stay at a best western if the staff is always this strict.

Any time we fly to Florida to visit family in Auburndale, Best Western is our hotel of choice every single time. Not only is it clean and freshly remodeled, the accommodations are comfortable and include a full breakfast which certainly helps. Chris is an absolute pleasure to work with when checking in and has the perfect personality for welcoming guests. The suite is so spacious and convenient especially when both my husband and I have to do online meetings for work during travel. French doors separate the living room from the bedroom. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, gas stations, and Wal-Mart, too. We have been please every time.

I came into the Auburndale area to visit extended family in Auburndale, Winter Haven, and Lakeland. This was a great location, reasonably priced, very clean, friendly and helpful staff - plus a pleasant pool/patio area on the east side perfect for early morning sun, coffee, and reading.

We were in and out quick but the place what outstanding. It was very clean and the bathroom (shower) was nice. The staff was very kind, I even tipped them separate from the breakfast crew. The breakfast was very good. Only way to improve is to offer the Udes gluten free muffins like other Best Westerns.

We really enjoyed our stay. We came for a youth tournament at Lake Myrtle, and it was really convenient. There are plenty of gas stations and Walmart nearby, which we ended up needing both. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great, too. Only drawback, we were having key card issues and had to swap at the desk a couple of times to get into the room. The locks or card system could use some tlc. :)

We were greeted by the concierge Chris when we walked in the door. He was very polite and helpful. It was convenient to restaurants and a Walmart in case you forgot something at home. Traffic was not bad at all in the area of the hotel.

shower is very slippery. slipped in the shower. had to leave early because I hurt myself when I slipped. think there should be some sort of texture put down so that the shower is not so slippery when it gets wet

Very nice place in a great location. The place was very clean. We loved everything about the place. They had a nice selection for breakfast. The kids enjoyed the pool and the gym. Our room was nice and beds were comfortable.

Room could be better. It had a constant smell of humidity. The staff was good and very polite. The overall experience was not great. Bathroom could also be better, there was some moldew on the joints.

The evening shift person...I think his name is chris..is so very nice to talk to but when I checked out Sunday morning the nightshift person was not friendly...but Chris being so great made stay better

The service was very friendly; even before we arrived, they had everything arranged for me and my family. My son received a gift bag for his birthday and said it's a 5-star hotel. The food and service were very good. Thank you very much to all the staff.

We took our grandkids to Legoland. BW was an affordable clean hotel not far from there. We had the king suite with a large king bed and the sitting room with a pullout sofa for the grandkids to sleep on. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice room for the price.

Always stay there in auburndale for family events, clean and I notice staff is long term employed: nothing else to add, get rid of the 200 character requirement; so annoying , 12345678901234567890

The room ( king size bed) was spotless and well-maintained. The hotel looks like it has had a recent facelift; everything was painted and looked fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. Decent free breakfast as well. They were painting the outside while we were there, which shows they are keeping it up! No issues, would definitely stay there again. Close to restaurants and Lowes.

Was a wonderful trip Chris was a very helpful at the front desk and really appreciate him all the way through my booking of the of my trip to services in the evening throughout the day. Everybody was very helpful, but Chris was excellent for us. Kudos to you all till next time thank you.

This was my first experience using this Best Western, it was so easy for me from booking to check out. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. All employees that I came into contact with were kind and helpful. So clean, and most importantly it was safe for this amputee. Getting around in the room was easy and comfortable. Thank you for having me. I will be back.

The hotel is always clean, comfortable, and welcoming, but it's the people who make it truly special. Chris and the rest of the team consistently go above and beyond, creating an atmosphere that feels safe, friendly, and familiar. It's rare to find a place where you can relax the moment you arrive, but this Best Western manages to deliver that feeling every time. If you're looking for a place that feels more like a second home than just a hotel, I can't recommend the Best Western Auburndale enough. I'm already looking forward to my next stay

Rooms were well maintained and clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very substandard as compared to other hotels in this class. Staff in the morning when I checked out was great. Staff that was on duty at midnight (man) when we checked in was clearly not happy with his job. He wasn't welcoming or friendly and charged the entire room stay to the “incidentals” credit card and not the pre billed prepaid credit card from our business organization. We even reminded him of this but he seemed very annoyed that we even brought it up. Well, just as we suspected he screwed up the transaction.

Your remodel was wonderful, large room, comfy beds and pillows, room was cleaned, desk staff was really nice and helpful, many restaurants in area with recommendations, ended up getting food delivered and even bought the desk crew pizza. I will definitely will stay there the next time I'm down that way for work.

I booked directly through Best Western's website, it did not mention this site is currently under renovations, if I'd know I would not have not booked at this location. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, they address the broken shower door & fixed immediately. The pool is small, debris/trash in it and had green algea on the wall, definitely not safe to use. I booked a 2 Queen w/ sofa bed room, they provided us with a 2 Queen only.

Room was very clean. Air conditioner worked well. Would of liked some cheaper snacks. Lots of traffic noises being close to a busy street. Staff was great. Answered any questions .that I may have had. Cleaning staff was also great.

The room was clean and for the most part quiet. Sherry from housekeeping was an absolute angel! She greeted me each morning by name and always asked how my room was, and if I need anything else. John from front desk was helpful when I made changes to my reservation. My one complaint happened when Sherry was off. I had requested that my room be cleaned, and after returning to my room it was not cleaned and the card asking for service was still on the door. Check in/out was super quick. They are remodeling, so there is expected construction noise during the day, and the laundry was unavailable. It would have been helpful to know at check in that they were not available, however, not a complete inconvenience.

Fantastic service start to finish. I stayed for three nights and housekeeping checked my room daily where most chains Dont. Breakfast was fresh and Tasty. Service desk staff was Friendly and welcoming especially John!! The only negative I can come up with is the prices for items in the convenience store were ridiculously high. If you set at 25% over cost you would still make a small profit and customers would purchase more and be less upset

From check in to check out the entire staff was friendly and helpful Congratulated us on our marriage and the room was extremely nice. Stores were close by and the bed was extremely comfortable!!!!!!!

The hotel was clean, we were welcomed by Chris who was very accommodating and friendly. They have a wonderful free breakfast and it was nice not being charged for parking. The room was decent and everyone else was pleasant.

The breakfast area of this hotel was terrific. Tiffany did an excellent job, ensuring that everyone had the food that they desired, that the area was clean, and that the various food stations were up-to-date and prepared for the guests. Thank you very much, Tiffany.

Someone must has stolen my personal item from the fridge, or not giving back to me after i called back right after checking out, and said i will pay shipping to please ship back to me. I know it was for sure in the room because my son saw it early in the morning, but we just forgot to take, and everything else was cleaned up when i called at night on same day. I will file a police report regarding this. Also the staff named John was really not friendly, not looking at us at all while checking out, and my son trying to say bye a couple times and he was not responding. Chris is much nicer, he's at the night shift.

If you are traveling through the Auburndale area plan to stay at Best Western. Convenient, clean, friendly helpful staff. The stay includes a great selection of food for breakfast. The breakfast room was clean, inviting, the food was fresh and hot thanks to Tiffany who was there and came around to see if there was anything else you needed.👍👍

My wife and I were looking to spend a night somewhere close to Bok Tower where we planned to spend a day; however all the hotels in the Lakeland/Winter haven area were priced around $300 a night...probably due to their proximity to Legoland..which was more than we wanted to spend. I expanded my search and found this Best Western at about half the cost so decided to try it. We were really pleased with our choice, our mini king suite was absolutely spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Whoever designed the room did a great job..an excellent shower with plenty of hooks and hangers, etc., a nice sized mini fridge large enough to hold plenty of drinks and leftovers, large screen TV, and bedside tables that had 4 USB chargers, which really came in handy. Breakfast was pretty much standard fare with cheese omelettes, bacon, grits, and assortment of breads and pastries...nothing outstanding but good enough...and complimentary. The coffee was also very good which makes a huge difference in enjoying breakfast. I would absolutely recommend this Best Western to anyone looking for a hotel in the area.

We had a group of professionals stay at this hotel while attending a district event. The management was easy to work with and made it stress free for me as the coordinator. The staff is friendly and a pleasure to work with. We all enjoyed our stay very much!

When checking in the gentleman working the front desk had his phone blaring on YouTube. He had walked away from the desk and had it playing for the lobby to hear. When returning, I think he could tell I was agitated and proceeded to tell me how he purchased a Range Rover for his wife in vehicles for his multiple kids. Apparently Range rivers are known to have issues so he watches the videos on how to repair them on his free time. When we finally got checked, and we proceeded to the room only to have to pass through extremely loud teenage boys living their best life. It was almost 11 PM by the time we got to the hotel and checked in after a sporting event all day. I called the front desk around midnight because the same gentleman were running up and down the hallway and screaming profanities. The front desk basically hung up on me saying they would take care of it. About 30 minutes later, it was still continuing so I called again. The employee at the front desk seemed annoyed to hear from me again however, I let him know. I have young children and it being well after midnight now was unacceptable to not let their chaperone know. I was able to let them know exactly what room number. These boys were coming in and out of and the chaperone went screaming at them even louder than the boys had been themselves. She also had no Care in the world for who called or what was happening. This behavior and volume level continued, and we attempted to get some sleep, but truly almost left to just sleep in the car because it was ridiculous. I would think there would be cameras on each floor for the employees to be able to monitor and anyone slightly paying attention would have seen and heard what was happening, but yet again his phone on YouTube was probably more important. Highly disappointed and will never return to this hotel, which is sad because it was fairly clean and in decent neighborhood that we frequent with sporting events often. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone else visiting.

Friendly staff. Clean lobby, complimentary breakfast, free internet, gym, pool. The room I got was very clean and spacious room. My only con was entering into my room the keycard sometimes wouldn't read right. Other than that 4/5.

It is only minutes from the local Lake Myrtle Sports Complex, restaurants, shopping, and other area attractions. Within a short driving distance to the cities of Winter Haven, Lakeland, and Haines City, this hotel is only twenty minutes from the famed LEGOLAND, and forty minutes from Orlando and its famous theme parks, including Disney World, SeaWorld, and Universal Studios. There is a 24-hour front desk, business center, a sparkling swimming pool, manicured grounds, fitness center, guest laundry, full breakfast, and a professional, friendly, and attentive staff. I highly recommend this hotel if your business or pleasure travel brings you to the Central Florida area.

Tiffany was amazing thank you for making Christmas a wonderful experience for us at best western recomend trying her south western omelet was unbelievably amazing and her kindness was very and attentiveness was the highlight of are Christmas vacation

Overall, the experience was great. Special shout out to Tiffany for making my morning experience much much better in the breakfast area. She's great. !! I also want to acknowledge the individuals who clean their rooms, they always went out of their way to make sure I had everything that I needed each day. They came in, very good service.

Breakfast was amazing Vicki and Tiffany were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was hot, and no wait times, yogurt machine was great, overall I had a wonderful experience. I will definitely return if ever back in the area. Also the overall hospitality was very nice and welcoming.

This is my hotel when I visit the area for business. Nice and well maintained rooms. I often use their fitness room, laundry, ... Walmart & nearby restaurants are at walking distance (even if walking is now usual in the US).

The stay was disappointing. The carpet in our room was damp and in some places wet enough to the point water was visible when you stood on it. Because of the dampness the room smelt musty which made the stay very unpleasant. The people working in the hotel were very pleasant and in general it was clean and tidy

Great place to stay, good hot breakfast. The only downside is low water pressure. Chris was very sociable and knowledgeable. We were safe during the hurricane the only complaint was losing power and so no elevator service and no hot breakfast of course.

My skin is so itchy. Dont know what they are using to clean their linen, but stop. The price is NOT worth the hotel services. One night was all I was willing to give. The nicer hotel was booked, going into a bigger city and renting a car. The breakfast lady was REALLY nice so I gave this place an extra star because of her.

Wonderful, clean hotel. We had a one bedroom suite and it was comfortable and roomy. The front desk staff was great and breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold items. Conveniently located, with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a short weekend to attend PolyCon at Fl Polytech University…about ten minutes drive from Best Wetern, Auburndale. Check-in was a breeze, friendly, professional, helpful staff, suite was spacious, comfortable king bed and soda bed. We liked the unexpected participation between BR and LR…made for privacy. This our favorite stay when visiting our student attending FL Poly.

BW Auburndale is located close to food stores, auto repair shops, I needed repairs done to my car, I only need to drive 60 seconds to find a repair shop. Overall my stay was great, it would be nice to have real eggs, not egg mix. Was not able to use the gym or pool.

it was good. But pillows are uncomfortable. Breakfast does not offer many varieties of options. it is needed to provide more services to the people like pool, vendor machines for beverages and food and directions for restaurants around the area

There were multiple bug found in my room. Very strange artwork. Breakfast food was low quality and on the bring of expiration. I would not recommend this establishment or anything under under Auberndale Hotel LLC to anyone.

good place to stay and relax very quite, the staff are nice, very clean, they offer breakfast, the parking is so easy and free, about 16 mins to legoland theme park, they have an out door swimming pool.

This hotel is fine, not great. I had a good experience with all the people I interacted with. There is a good breakfast with hot items including make-your-own waffles. The room was mostly comfortable. The sleeper sofa needs repairs or replacing.

At roughly $140 a night, I have been in a lot nicer hotels. It was a place to stay close to family. ANTS are a big problem in the rooms. Pool & breakfast was good just wished there was a little more to choose from or mix options up more.

We have stayed here several times for local sporting events and the staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. My son loves breakfast in the morning, but there are other good restaurants close by. We'll definitely be back!

From check in to check out the stay was excellent. Kim at check in was very friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, and it was quiet. The building is well maintained. This is a great motel for the money in Auburndale.

The staff was very professional and accommodating especially the hotel reception Kim. The hotel lobby, conference room and our King Suite were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was included--the waffles were delicious and the selection was varied--the attendant Candy was very accommodating in providing hard boiled eggs as we did not prefer the scrambled eggs a bit salty. We enjoyed the heated pool at night, we would have preferred a hot tub in the premises. The cost for the room was discounted by signing up with Best Western Rewards. The hotel ice machines were not working properly. Another issue was not being able to get any discount tickets to area attractions.

The night staff was rude but the manager was great and she went above and beyond for us. The pull out couch broke while my 5-year-old was sitting on it and the hotel could not fix it but offered us a cot and a pack-n-play instead. The bathroom also had someone elses hair in the tub and the sink had ants all around it.

The power went out which made my family and I miss part of an event that we were specifically in town for. It was too dark in our room to see anything & elevators didn't work (3rd floor). We asked for a discount on your room as a result and Cecila, hotel staff who lives locally, said that she would have left the hotel & gone to her house (that has power) to get dressed, so she doesn't think the manager will consider discounting the room for one night (huh, what???) When speaking with another hotel staff, earler, I was told that the manager, Jennifer Mendez, NEVER gives discounts in consideration for ANYTHING, it doesn't matter what, so no need to ask (huh,what???). Jennifer was out that day, so I was told to call back for her and given a time. Jennifer would not come to the phone to have a conversation with me. She kept passing the buck. I will NEVER stay here again. I can pay the same rate elsewhere and get some decent customer service. For a manager to avoid speaking with a customer blew my mind.

We were looking for a hotel with breakfast close to Legoland. This hotel was above our expectations! We were about a 15 minute drive to Legoland. The breakfast was great and the eating area was large enough for the hotel guests.

We were looking for a decent place to stay that put us close to Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. We found this location to provide exactly what we were looking for. It was only a 6-7 minute drive one way and as we had to go back and forth multiple times over the course of a weekend, this location provided convenience. It was also helpful that it included a decent complimentary breakfast! Kim at the front desk was pleasant and helpful with providing area events to attend for when we weren't at the field. Overall it was a good experience.

The only glitch was that the refrigerator wasn't working right, but after calling the front desk about it, they replaced it with a new one very quickly. Everything else was perfectly fine, clean room, clean bathroom etc. The breakfast was actually pretty good too!

All hotel amenities were as expected or better. Check in was quick, gracious, and welcoming. The bed was on the firm side but the ample pillows and comfortable linens were a delight. In-room bathroom was spotless and provided a comfortable massage shower. On-site breakfast was adequate and appreciated.

Customer Service was so great. KIM was the best front desk associate. She was so nice and pleasant. I run into a problem with checking in and she did everything in her power to to help me. It was very much appreciated.

One of the best experiences I had staying at a hotel. Stayed at another hotel which turned out to be an extremely poor experience, left there and stayed here. I told the front desk, who's name is Kim of my situation and she immediately turned things around by offering an upgraded room at no extra cost. She was extremely friendly, the room was great. Would definitely stay here again.

This is one of the best best westerns I've stayed at, always clean, friendly staff, breakfast is even pretty good for a hotel breakfast, I can't say anything really negative about it at all honestly.

This hotel was suppose to be a nonsmoking hotel and it smelled like smoke. I travel all over and stay at many hotel brands and this hotel was not taken care of very well. I will have to say the front staff was polite and helpful.

I try to stay at BW if we get bad weather because I live in a mobile home. It is very clean!! They always make sure there is fresh coffee! The beds are very comfortable!! Front desk staff are great!! Thank you Best Western staff for all you do to make your guests feel at home. Great Place!!

It was a good experience staying at the Best Western Auburndale Inn & Suites. The hotel is clean with all the amenities. It is located at an excellent location. Easy access to restaurants, Walmart, barbershops and other business. The hospitality was nothing but outstanding. The receptionist Kim, does a great job. She is very professional, friendly, kind, helpful. I recommend this hotel and I would be happy to stay here again.

Was overpriced. Older hotel, rooms smelt like heavy duty leaner. . We couldn't eat the contental breakfast, (went to McDonald's instead)and they didn't come and clean or change towels for 3 three day stay.

I had a problem with my original reservation due to huracan Ian and they move it for next week with no penalty. Clean rooms, delicious breakfast and great location. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Love this place very clean ,staff very nice . Breakfast was great. Location was good close to a lot of business. Price was good close to everything. I sleep very good bed was comfortable. I was on the last floor very good choice. I don't hear step on top or kids running.

Breakfast was good if you got there in time. Hours are 6-9 on week days. By 845 most stuff is gone which is understandable. The bathrooms were newly renovated with walk in showers and sliding doors. They are tough as they withstood my 3 year old trying to slam them. When in the bathroom you do hear the running water of other rooms. Not a big deal just unexpected. They were redoing the lobby and floors at the time of our stay. The pool was clean. The work out room had some left over trash it. We didn't use it. Just something I observed. Overall we would stay here again. It was close to many fast food places. The fridge was a good size. Turn down service is limited unless requested. The front desk didn't seem to communicate well with the cleaner staff as we had to ask the cleaning staff to clean the room. They weren't aware of it being on their list to clean.

I guess they were renovating when we were there July 2022 so there was plastic on the floors in the hallway and the room smelled exactly like a dirty vacuum bag. We tried turning on the AC but literally nothing helped. The staff was nice but I heard them put others on a different floor why did we have to be put right in the middle of the construction.

Hotel is currently under construction so lots of dust and debris. The room had a musty smell. My ice bucket had water left in it from the previous guest and ants in the bathroom. I choose not to partake of breakfast as everything had dust on it.

We had no elevator, hot water .We were breathing in dust had to listen to nonstop drilling . My wife and I are both handicap we had to walk all around just to go in and out . The only thing good about it is the staff .

I feel like this place would be good if there wasn't such heavy construction. If we had been told about it ahead of time I would have chosen another place to stay but since we were not, my son's asthma started acting up from all of the dust.

Construction was happening. The only morning that the construction made noise was on our checkout day. I felt sorry for the clerk on the front desk. I don't think I could have taken the noise from the floor tile being removed. It was very noisy.

The rooms were recently remodeled, very spacious and extremely clean. The pool is heated, so the kids were able to enjoy it until night time. The staff was very friendly and resourceful. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Legoland.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was very maintained. My room was clean and also serviced. The food was amazing not your typical stale pastries. The staff was very efficient and helpful. I would like to recognize Jennifer the GM who checked into make sure everything was up to par. The housekeeper Sharon, the breakfast lady Tara and Kim the evening clerk all did a fantastic job!

A decent place for the night, nothing fancy. The rooms are large and mostly clean (sofa was questionable). Service was friendly and the free breakfast was good (waffles, eggs, French toast, ham, assorted cereals, fruit, etc.. The property is under renovation, but it didn't bother us.

The hotel was renovating but they didn't disrupt the guests. One issue we had was that our room was never cleaned. We stayed from Fri-Tue even though we left the sign on the door it was never cleaned and we had to get more towels and toilet paper on our own. My adult daughter wanted to purchase items from the "pantry" in the lobby but was told she couldn't pay cash ( even though there was a sign saying they accept cash, debit or charge to the room. I had actually bought water the night before in cash with no issues.

Hotel under construction food not good for breakfast not much out said it was close to Lego land but was not worse time I've had at a best western an probably the highest bill never using this one again

They are in the process of finishing up remodeling. The third and fourth floor are finished. The room was spotless the bathroom brand new walk-in shower. Room 218 was perfect. The breakfast needs to be upgraded. Definitely not quality. But it would fill someone's stomach. The coffee in the lobby 24 seven was very good and handy.

Great hotel take the family we have stayed twice now and will book another trip in the future. The heated pool is awesome. There employees are always friendly and if you have any issue they are extremely helpful.

Wonderfully hotel! Nice, clean rooms, gorgeous new bathrooms. Super friendly and professional staff. We (a family of 5) stayed here for our trip to Lego land, it's about 20 minutes from the park but definitely worth it. We stayed in the king suite which was perfect for us. I will admit though the mattress on the pull out was in dire need of replacement, but my kids didn't mind. It was clean, just worn out. The free breakfast that was offered was also great and so was the lady who was working in it.

Toilet would not flush reported to front desk but there was no urgency or Maintenance on site. I booked for 2 days and checked out early to due to the customer service and not being reached out to and try to remedy the problem. I would not stay or recommend to stay again.

I have enjoyed Auburndale Best Western since the paint was hardly dry. BW has served Auburndale as the only midtown hotel. I've never been disappointed. The staff, notably Kim are pleasant and professional. Of recent our stay on the 3rd floor boasted an impressively renovated marble bathroom. (Nice to see the updates)

Check in and out was smooth and easy. Dot was a delight. After working a 14 hour day I was ready to pass out. There were children running above me, I called the front desk and they took care of it immediately. Because it wasn't my house I could hear every sound and there was a weird humm sound but I got through it. The room was very clean and nice. Beds were fairly comfortable as I sleep on a gel mattress. Great breakfast selection for sure! We would stay again. I thought they price was a little high for being in the middle of no where.

Even though the end of my stay was nothing to be proud of Kim made my check in and my stay welcoming. I will more then likely come back if I am welcome to. Relaxing and peaceful place to go to for a few days.

The hotel should NOT be taking bookings because it is under renovation. My room had a leaking ac unit that made the carpet around it soaked and the whole room smelled terrible. I complained and asked to change but it was not possible. My bathroom sink was leaking. The second flyer has bookings and was under construction. I'm sure once it is finished it will be great.

Had an amazing time and what made it all possible was Kim at the front desk! She went above and beyond. Will definitely come back. Breakfast was a good variety. I have no complaints about my visit. Again, Best front desk clerk ever!

We rented two rooms. Both had a musty odor upon arrival. The shower did not drain in one of the rooms. They called the desk and was told they would send up a plunger. They dropped it off and my granddaughter had to clear the tub blockage. Sure thought the person that brought up the plunger would have used it. The Air Conditioner worked fine in one room but the other room it would not get below 80. Made the room too hot for comfortable sleeping. The breakfast room also had no air conditioning. Made for a very uncomfortable breakfast. The price we paid was much too high for what we got. Very, Very disappointed.

My room was sown a floor where they were working on the other rooms. It was dusty and noisy. Should have been on another floor. Usually a good place to stay. There was a different lady at the desk and she was not very nice.

Everything about our stay was excellent! We travel with our competitive soccer club A LOT and this by far was the best! The staff was AMAZING and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We look forward to our next stay!

Not what we expected at all!!!! No elevator the entire stay with our room being on the third floor with a baby, stroller and luggage. Room service was not done after spending the day out. Its done “every 3 days or upon request.” Renovations were also being done on the top floor, which disrupted the water and had dusty hallways and stairwells. And the worst part of all was the carpet inside of the room…it was soo dirty that you needed your shoes on at all times!! We couldn't let our baby run around in socks bcs they were black within minutes!! Very nasty!! As far as the breakfast….very basic but i would never complain about complementary food so it was ok. Pool was probably the only nice thing about our stay, clean and warm. Staff was friendly. If we would of came a different time of the year the best we would rate this stay is 3 stars. However, we would not stay here again!

The bed was uncomfortable, hard as a rock, pillows uncomfortable and the shower grout was nasty. I heard there was breakfast served but didn't partake. The hallways were smelly. Would not stay here again.

Everyone was great and accommodating. Breakfast was a nice touch every mornimg.. the stay was clean and nice and reasonably priced. Everything was wonderful and we really enjoyed it. Even the laundry was convenient.

At over $300/night, I got a musty, dark, dated room with worn out and broken furnishings and roaches in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the bed was comfortable enough. I will not be returning to this hotel.

A dark and tired hotel with run-down furniture, worn furnishings, and cockroaches in the bathroom. The desk chair's pneumatic height adjustment was worn out and the apholstery was torn. I had to place three pillows on the chair to get high enough to reach my keypad. The bed was comfortable enough. I'll be back in the area in a few weeks to finish the project I was working on. I will not be staying at this hotel. I can't believe we paid over $300/night for this place!

Nice clean and spacious living space . Courteous and helpful Staff. The location was also very convenient in regards to food,stores and shops. Perfect place if you're staying for a few nights in order to participate in tournament play at the local park.

Jennifer at your front desk was amazing. She is super friendly, has a great sense of humor and went out of her way to answer our questions and give suggestions when asked. I think she wound up pulling a double shift that day but was still as happy and bubbly when we saw her at night as she was in the morning.

Always a great stay at this Best Western, a bit pricey but nice place, this is the only place I stay when I go to Auburndale. They have a great breakfast and always coffee. The rooms are nice size and very clean.

The stay was pleasant, breakfast was good they had a good variety of food. Weight room was excellent. Pool was also very nice. Customer service was very good. Our room was a little dingy. The shower rod was loose on the wall. Cleanliness was good but the color scheme was drab, browns, yellow, and gray. Not what I would expect from a Florida hotel. Overall experience was good and I would stay there again.

First off let me say that Carolyn at the front desk is honestly the best! I'm a very frequent guest here at the hotel and every time she's at the front desk just makes my day better. She always greets me right away and by my first name. I've never had anyone do that before. She always asks how my day is and if I need anything. So hats off to her she's super friendly and personable. So best customer service I've ever had from a hotel. And the hotel is great right where you need it and quick drive to things. Will keep staying here for sure!

Front desk was very nice & helpful, room was clean but biggest problem was bathroom. Bathtub seemed unsafe. The floor of the tub was not supported as it should have been…more like it was installed by an inexperienced do it yourself. Every time your feet moved the tub floor seemed to flex and made a creaking noise.

I needed a motel quickly due to a bad situation. I did not know how many days I would need. The morning front desk personnel were excellent , working with my unknown. The one problem was the initial check in. He had attitude and I was stressed enough without his questions! The facilities were great. Everything was sparkling. Breakfast was worth getting up for. On checkout, I wanted a grab and go bag ( the sign was at the front desk) but was told they didn't do that any more. Not the way to start my trip back home.

Hotel is well maintained and staff is friendly and helpful. We had two one night stays and hotel is in a very convenient area for shopping and restaurants. We were only stopping while passing on the way from the auto train to south Florida.

Excellent hotel. Heated pool. All staff is wonderful. Very clean great rooms the pools is super clean and so warm it is like taking a bath. Great coffee and breakfast. Can't say enough about the suite we stayed in very large with excellent bed.

It was awesome. I had to stay 3 days 2 nights due to my house being fumigated. The breakfast was yummy, they had a lot of options, pancakes waffles sausage eggs, omelets and alot more too. It was quiet. The only thing I didn't like, the beds were not comfortable.

This hotel is clean. The staff is professional, respectful, and helpful to say the least. Ms. Lis helped me by guiding me to a very good restaurant near the hotel. My stay was wonderful, I take getaways for 2-3 several times a year. This hotel allows me to stay close to home but feel a world away. This hotel is my honeycomb hideout. I can eat healthy as the breakfast has fresh fruit. I can swim all year round because the pool is heated. I can also exercise using the gym that is well equipped

The staff was amazing. Ms. Lis helped me tremendously. Ms. Kim was extremely helpful with helping me find places to eat. Will stay every time I am in town. The front desk and housekeeping staff were amazing. The breakfast was top notch.

My parents use to stay when they come to town. Since we were moving we needed a place to stay for the night. We decided to stay at the Best Western. It was clean and quiet staff is great. I would definitely refer this Best Western to anyone visiting that area.

I have stayed in many hotels from five star down to Mom and Pop Hotels. This place has THE BEST breakfast and staff! Roberto I think his name was went above and way beyond his job and we will be back again. He always has a welcoming and humbleness about him. He always is busy but not to busy to greet each and everyone who enters in the morning. The TV is a little loud but over all this place is amazing and even better are the staff. We can't thank you guys enough for making us feel at home. Oh, I almost forgot to mention how knowledgeable he is about the area and local activities, his recommendations were very helpful and appreciated. If your ever in the area, please stop by and say hi. This guy definitely deserves a raise or something. I could go on all day. Best stay in the WORLD!

I was there for only one night, I went to the complementary breakfast and tried to make my first waffle on the waffle iron and boy did I make a mess, but thank God Charlie the grey hair lady in charge of the morning breakfast came to my rescue, I can still remember her words With a big smile Don't worry sweetheart I'll take care of that and in a few minutes she cleaned my mess and showed me waffle making 101. The hotel room was very clean and presentable. The personnel at the front desk, in the breakfast area, and in housekeeping were friendly and kind. I felt that each member of the staff wanted me to enjoy my stay.

The location is excellent, just a 7 min drive to the Soccer Complex which was the reason for our trip. It is an older building and the room smells a little stuffy. The AC unit in the room was very loud making it a bit hard to fall asleep. I wish there was better ventilation. Breakfast was excellent and I really appreciated the kindness of the lady in charge of breakfast. We had to check out very early for a game and, she was very friendly and agreed to let us grab some breakfast to go before opening time.

Rooms were musty and the fridge did not work but I understand they did there best. But the handy man who works there named kodi made it worth it. He truly gave my family and i great customer service, he sets the standard for excellent service and I will be returning thanks to his efforts to make sure we were comfortable and well attended.

We were surprised that this hotel had all the amenities hotels used to have, including coffee makers and lavish hot breakfasts with ice cold orange juice, delicious hot coffee and hot food. Lots of attention to detail and the feel of being welcome. It felt like a high end hotel but at a modest price. Rooms were super clean. I really enjoyed my stay and have already recommended to a couple friends.

Wendy is very customer orientated . Needed extended check. I suffer from migraines and it takes mire time sometimes for medicine to take effect . I was told no last time . I was going to complain but I was in too much pain and got to busy . Asked for it again told Wendy what happen last time and she made sure I got the extended time . Thanks Wendy !!!

The Best Western Auburndale Inn & Suites is a beautiful and modern hotel, centrally located on US92W and minutes from the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex, restaurants, shopping, and other area attractions, including the cities of Lakeland and Winter Haven. Only 40 minutes from Orlando and it's theme parks, this hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, sparkling swimming pool, manicured grounds, fitness center, guest laundry, full breakfast, and a professional, friendly, and attentive staff. I highly recommend this hotel if your business or pleasure travel brings you to the Central Florida area.

Upon check in, desk clerk advised us there was not a hot breakfast - contrary to the hotel's webpage. Only two nights, so we checked in anyways (Burger King across the street). King Suite was roomy, but there was no dining table or bar to sit at. So, we ate dinner out of our laps on the living room sofa. Crumbs and debris all over the floor afterwards. There was no maid service, but if you asked nicely, the maid let us borrow her vacuum sweeper the next morning to clean it up. The floor light in the bedroom didn't work. In fact (excluding the bathroom, there were only 4 table lamps in the entire suite. No lighting in the kitchen...bring a flashlight. The spigot on the tub/shower was worn out, and the temperature had to be readjusted every 15 seconds or so. Tub took 15 minutes to drain. On the plus side, the wireless internet was reliable and fast.

Two day trip to Florida to visit family. Booked a king suite at the Best Western because the webpage for the hotel promised a "Complimentary full breakfast, a variety of breads, cereal, fruit, hot eggs,hot breakfast meat, Belgian waffles, yogurt, juice, coffee, and much more!" In reality, the hot eggs and hot breakfast meat were refrigerated breakfast biscuit that had to be microwaved. The "suite" had a walk-up counter with a small microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. No place to eat...you had to sit on the sofa and eat out of your lap. No maid service, but she'll let you borrow her vacuum sweeper - if you ask her nice - to vacuum all the crumbs off the floor from last night's dinner. The spigot in the tub was so old it would fall into the 6 o'clock position, so you had to readjust it ever 15 seconds to keep a hot shower going. Floor light in the bedroom didn't work. Including the bedroom, only 4 table lamps in the entire suite for lighting....bring a flashlight to use the "kitchen" counter. On the plus side, the wireless internet was excellent.

Great front desk staff. I forgot to print an important document for my meeting that day. They went above and beyond helped me get all squared away. Perfect for a one-day business trip. I would use them again.

Very clean quiet comfortable room . Very caring and professional staff , breakfast is very minimal . Has a pool, laundry , fitness room . Wal mart and aldi nearby . Flea market down the street . Had some minor issues with shower and toilet but was taken care of

It didn't start off too good to say the least the room look like it had some stuff on the carpet we had told the front desk agent Samantha who checked us in,didn't really expect anything to be done due being sold out an late but later that evening Housekeeping showed up an was and asked if she could come in and take a look to see if maybe she could clean it up or get the shampooer of course it was late so we denied that but she did clean up as much as she could she was very nice an handled it well my girls loved her gave them free snacks thank you for the courtesy I think her name was Christy or Christina very pleasant, again thank you for taking the time to acknowledge us an thank you Samantha front desk. Will be staying again

The rooms were ok but they over charged my card 3 times and when I had my husband speak to the manager to ask why I was over charged for the 150 deposit three times she was rude and not helpful and told me to call my bank to handle it. She also informed him if we were there 1 minute after check out she would be charging me for a half day. That is RIDICULOUS! I am not happy with her or this hotel. I have 3 $150 dollar deposits not yet returned to me and she has the audacity to tell me that!!! Worst experience ever!! Will not recommend to anyone ever!

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. I could not have asked for better service than what they have given me the rooms were very clean very helpful in helping me check in and check out breakfast is amazing.

Sketchy people hanging around hotel, dirty and very smelly mold non smoking area smelled like an ash tray we all got congested for those 2 nights only, we did not shower tub and curtains had stains, refrigerator dirty and freezer moldy

Dirty is an understatement. Will NOT stay here again. Shower/bathroom dirty. Every counter and table dusty. Trash hadn't been removed from previous person using room. Staff had bad attitude specially when I checked in. Elevator wasn't working.

The carpet was disgusting- it needs to be cleaned. The sofa and chair both had stains on them, so we didn't even want to sit on them. The sofa bed was so unbelievably uncomfortable that even my young daughter wouldn't sleep on it. The bedroom door are glass and there are no curtains or other privacy elements. I definitely would not recommend this hotel. There are many better options nearby. We will be back in the area next month and have chosen a different place to stay.

Pictures are very deceiving. Hotel smelt terrible, was dirty, and so loud almost made it impossible for my kids to sleep! There for a soccer tournament, the front desk staff seemed miserable and the best thing about the hotel was the girl that handled breakfast. She was very accommodating and professional. As much as we travel for soccer, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want to get no sleep, be treated nasty, and lay in uncomfortable beds.

Hotel looks nice enough from outside and lobby, but the rooms are old and in need of updating. Sloppy paint job, toilet and sink didn't drain well, paint chipped and peeling on old bed bases, needs new mattresses and pillows, thin walls, could hear local train, old style air-conditioner that kept cutting on and off all night, the plastic shower floor creaked with every step (felt sorry for the guests underneath our room). Definitely not worth the premium price charged!!

Do not stay here even if it is free. The parking lot flood lights in to the room, the drag racing out front, the dozens of trains and the accompanying train horns (approx 15 per train), the TV remote volume buttons didnt work, the bathroom floor was sticky, we got 1 hand towel and 1 shower towel.

I give this hotel a 10 staff was excellent that is a hard thing to find these days anything I requested for my room was acknowledged housekeeping staff was always asking if I needed any towels or wanted my room cleaned I will definitely stay again thank you I made my stay pleasant.

I'll keep it simple: Pros: check in was easy, comfortable bed Cons: No hot water , broken tub handle,No heat, Noise easily heard in hallways and from room next door, flat lumpy pillows, windows were very dirty, and so far it's been 6 days waiting for a $25 credit.. This hotel needs some work! I won't stay there again!

Best breakfast since COVID and exceeded expectations on every level. This will definitely be my go-to location going forward. Room was clean, staff was inviting as well as professional. This is a s the best stay in Winter Haven.

We stayed at the hotel through the weekend for a soccer tournament. The hotel staff were friendly and courteous. They helped us fill our large cooler for the soccer team. I would recommend the hotel and would stay again.

This is a very nice hotel on FL-92, a great place to stay if you're visiting any of the sites or for business. Obviously, check-in and breakfast are altered due to the Pandemic, but otherwise it is a great place to stay. I stayed in a regular room so I don't know about the suites. Parking is limited, you may be able to fit an RV or box (moving) truck in, depending on whomever else parked there. The room I had actually smelled like New Car (not the canned stuff, the ACTUAL scent of a new car), I had all the toiletries and towels I needed. They do not have daily housekeeping, but they will give you towels if needed. In terms of places to eat, there are TONS of places, from sit-down to fast food, all within 1 mile east of the hotel. The farthest would be Dunkin, which is about a mile-and-a-half east on 92. With shopping, there is a Lowes across the highway, and WalMart about a block east.

The staff is friendly ,efficient and went out of their way to be helpful to us. Hotel is nice, rooms are clean and bright. Our stay was short but we enjoyed it. Breakfast was a bagged muffin, water and snack bar due to covid-19 which was expected, coffee fresh and hot!

People are very nice. Coffee is good. I think there is mold there because my sinuses were really bothering me and there's a very musty smell. However,if you are visiting the area, this is really the only decent hotel to stay in.

We spent 10 days in the area bass fishing on the Winter Haven chain, golfing (easy), and travelling to the beaches on each coast, visiting Disney and Daytona etc. The hotel is fairly new, very well maintained, and a good value for the money. We had a room with a whirlpool tub and used it everyday. I highly recommend.

I book through an online agency that oddly got me a better price than BW.com. The room was spotless. The breakfast was good and the woman running it was very pleasant. The rooms were well appointed and I didn't hear any trains. It was nice to be close to Walmart since we had forgotten to pack a few things.

The facility was very clean but outdated. There was little to no water pressure in the bathroom sink and the shower curtain was coming off the wall. We heard people walking in the room above us and people talking in the room next to us. We will not stay here again.

I've been staying here off and on with my soccer team for the last 6 years. This year I must say that the Auburndale Best Western has noticeably upped their game. The concierges were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The staff was very responsive. Rooms were spotless, and cleaned quickly and without interference. All in all, a pleasant stay. If you are ever in Auburndale this is a great place to stay.

We booked two rooms for 2 night each for a quick weekend getaway. The staff from the beginning was great. From check in to check out. The breakfast lobby was very inviting and the attendant was very helpful and always made sure to ask if all was ok. The housekeeping supervisor was great also. She stopped us in the hallways to ask if everyone was good in the room. With 2 kids myself, the cleaning of the room was a must. The beds were clean, the towels and the carpet. The front desk agents were very friendly as well. I will come back for sure! Keep up the good work!

Since it is the only hotel in this area it is the only game in town. First night there we learned the elevator would be out almost the entire time we stayed here (looking on the good side we got a lot of exercise going up and down three flights of stairs). First room the AC/heat didn't work we were told how to reset it but after resetting it three times no luck so we had to move rooms. The first night loud noises from kids in hallway/next door. Paper thin walls you hear almost everything. The bathtub creaks every time you step. The second night there was a party next door and even though we knocked on their door twice it didn't stop until we were ready to wake up at 6 a.m. There were people smoking pot in the parking lot day two as well as next door during the all night party. HORRIBLE breakfast didn't even finish the food threw it away and went to a local restaurant. We are looking for alternative places to stay, unfortunately further away from family, for the remainder of our holiday time with family. Will NEVER stay here again. We gave 2 stars because of the nice staff at the desk and help from housekeeping staff.

Excellent hotel with excellent employees that go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. I always check for bed bugs and cleanliness before I bring my luggage inside the room. I was not disappointed. I visit this area frequently, and from now on this is the only place I will be staying.

Check in was a breeze, staff was friendly and helpful. This was an unexpected trip. The staff was courteous while I met with family in the lobby during an extremely emotional time. I will stay at this Best Western again.

I found this to be typical BW stay... what I would rate as 2.5 star. While not surprising as it was typical based on my BW stays, it was not 3.5 as advertised on the site that I booked it on... I believe Priceline, as that is who I normally book with.

I stayed in the King Bed Suite and found it to be very comfortable. There was plenty of space in the living area and a separate bedroom. The hotel had coffee available all day and a complimentary breakfast. It was easy to get to and decently priced.

I stay at Best Western's all the time and I also put my 4 man crew in Best Western's but this one in Auburndale was the worst I have ever seen. House keeping was not vacuuming the room properly I found a big hair ball under the desk. Then I started looking closer and all around the base boards was dirty, around the edge of each bed was not vacuumed properly. Just piss poor cleaning job.

The hotel property is well maintained on the outside and the rooms were very clean and ready upon our arrival. All of the staff was very professiopnal, as well as friendly and courteous, especially at the front desk. The morning breakfast hours were good and the offerings were more than we expected. The only missing item for us was a TV in the lobby area that guest could view shile waiting or relaxing in that particular area. Otherwise, it was overall very positive experience and stay.

Hotel was really clean the staff was pleasant. I arrived 3 hours before check in because I forgot check in wasn't until 3, they got my room available for me in like 30 minutes and let me check in. The only issue I had was I went to the lobby to buy a couple drinks out of their cooler and they were $3 apiece which is a little outrageous especially since one of the drinks was a Capri Sun. But other than that had a great stay.

Very nice kept hotel. Staff are very polite and helpful. Everything clean and breakfast excellent. The location was very accessible. When you check in the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. The check out is fast. They even offer you a check out express. The beds are comfortable, the bedrooms are clean and well organized.

My family was quite pleased with location, friendliness of staff, comfort and cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. Room temperature was comfortable, did not notice street noise. Pool area is neat and clean. Definitely will have family or friends stay at Best Western Auburndale again.

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you need to stay in Auburndale. It is the nicest place in the city. It's an average hotel overall. There isn't a ton to do or see in Auburndale, but if you go to Winter Haven, or farther out to Tampa or Orlando, you'll have much more to do. Staff was polite and friendly. The breakfast was as to be expected for a hotel breakfast. Fitness room was alright..2 treadmills, 1 didn't work. Nice pool outside. Room was clean, but shower didn't drain very well. You get what you pay for, and this hotel is worth the price.

I was in the area to find a place to hold a Fiber Retreat next year. The staff was very friendly and had answers for all of my questions. There were a few minor hiccups---ice machine on my floor broke and the folks above us were somewhat noisy. But the beds were comfy, great shower, and nice towels. It was quite clean and there were a ton of outlets...regular and USB.

They have a friendly staff that will help you in any way. They honored any request that I had. We actually received an upgraded Room because of my special request. No up charge. Very convenient location off Hwy 92 and the Polk Parkway. Not far from Disney.

The room was clean, and spacious. Mattress was the best I have ever slept on. It is a new building. No orders and very organized. I will definitely stay there again. Breakfast was waffles, eggs,sausage,juice, coffee, bagels,cereal, sweets, And fresh fruit.

Coffee was fresh and available 24 hours. I would definitely stay here again. I read a previous review about the carpets being dirty. My son walked around in his socks and the bottom stayed clean. This was an A+ stay for us. The older lady who was mopping the floor in the morning was very sweet and cheerful also. Whoever hired/trained these folks needs to get an award!

They are very friendly, well priced, well mannered, very clean, good breakfast bar, Nice refreshing swimming pool, beautiful landscaping, close to good food, wal mart, and gas. The only issue is the no pet policy. We had to get in touch with Rover an online dog sitter and have our pets watched by strangers in order to enjoy the hotel stay.

Although we came in with lots of family members for a funeral of our loved one we were in and out so fast we really enjoyed our room except for the horses running around above us but would to come back just to relax.

we had flown in from Boston early morning and when we went to our Hotel outside of Tampa Airport, we were told that there was no room available even though we had a reservation we were upset and tired and started driving towards Winter Haven where we were going to visit a relative we drove by the Best Western Auburndale Inn and stopped. Carrie was at the desk and she accommodated us and we started feeling better because it was 4:30 am and we were tired and aggravated. we had a nice room for three nights and the breakfasts were excellent. the Inn was very clean and Judy at breakfast was very nice to us because I had no idea how to use the waffle maker. we were very fortunate to come across the Best Western Thank you

Room had a "dirty rag" smell when you first walk in. You dont notice it after a while. Nice size mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room. Hotel has heated pool outside but needs updated. I also saw a workout room. Basic continental breakfast from 6-9am. The whole hotel has potential but needs updating everwhere.

Just had a long day this place hit the spot a smile after a long day goes a long way. Had great night sleep and on the go the next day. Well if I pass though this way again this a place I will stay for a good night rest.

No hot water in the suite. Super small pillows on the bed. They charge 2.14 cents for a water bottle but do give you free apples. Hmmm. Hotel staff hung up on me 2 separate times. They never offer early check in. Totally disrespectful towards me regarding my ESA animal. I will never return to this best western. And that is sad because normally best westerns are a great hotel. The only reason i had to stay here was because i was in a wedding who had a block set up here. (They admitted it was their first block ever.) Good luck to you of you stay here!

Staff was excellent, service excellent: They accomodated our early game time by having the breakfast bar open a few minutes early. Upon checking out I showed the morning rep two photos of silverfish bugs that were in the tub on Sunday (not here during day 1). She said thatshe would make a note of it. She did make a flippant remark that "Well, this is Florida."

We came on Thanksgiving night and the room was great it was a little more than what I want her to pay but the room was very nice clean the breakfast was excellent and the staff was excellent also and I would refer friends and family to stay there.

My family and I stayed at the Auburndale, Florida Best Western due to a fire at our home. We were guests there for 3 months. Can not say one bad thing about our stay at this Best Western. Extremely clean rooms, excellent service and great breakfast bar. The entire staff was warm and friendly and made a point to make us feel welcome as they did with all guests.

This hotel was a little off I-4, but that short drive saved us a few dollars and lead to a very nice nights rest, a very friendly staff, and some great Pizza delivery! We usually ask for the advice of a "local" for pizza, and we weren't disappointed. The breakfast that was provided was good, hot and plentiful. The beds were comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was great.

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the breakfast items. As we stayed several days, it was wonderful to have a bit of variety daily, especially with the hot food. Never once did I consider going somewhere else for breakfast. The Breakfast Room employees were friendly, helpful, attentive, and cleaning unobtrusively but constantly. The cleaning service employees likewise were attentive and responsive. I tend to assume that the desk employees will do their jobs well and efficiently but not often have I been as impressed by the other employees as I was while staying in this specific hotel.

When I check into this hotel the staff goes over and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe. As I am usually traveling alone to visit family in the area, they continue to ask me if there is anything they can do for me and always give me the room I request if it is available.

Lots of fast food close by but restaurants are farther away.. Clean rooms and great staff. We had 17 or so family from Seattle to Baltimore there that we hadn't seen in quit a while ,the pool closed earlier than we were ready to go to bed so the staff let us stay out without issue.

The room was very stinky, very odd smell. Sink was clogged, ice maker didn't work on the 3rd floor. House keeping knocks on the door at 9:00 am asking for dirty towels, when some of us weren't even awake yet or we were still showering. The beds were definitely not queen size beds, rather a double

The room was ok, and honestly I didn't see any other options for the area. The AC came on and off every coupe of minutes all night long. I wasn't able to get a good nights sleep. The shower/tub was cheapish and made cracking noises as you moved. It felt like a tub over a tub....bad job. Overall, the staff was friendly, but I'd probably chose another location to stay.

Receptionist went out of her way to help us with directions and to locate a nearby 24 hour restaurant. TIP: If you use GPS to find hotel leave out the "west" part of address: using "west" put several of us in an industrial park; w/o the "west" led to hotel. I used 3rd party employee discount to purchase my stay; 3rd party sent wrong (too low) of a payment - receptionist accepted my proof of purchase and told me that she would handle the matter so I wouldn't be inconvenienced.

Great stay and great breakfast. Staff was helpful. The lady in the breakfast room keep all food stocked and the area clean. We would stay here again. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The bathroom tub and toilet needed some work (seemed loose).

The overall stay was good but I was put close to noisemakers. The remote in the room was broken. Besides the room, there were places to go for dinner close by and Wal-Mart is close too, that's a plus.

The building is fairly news.Standard room with an inviting lobby. Front desk service is very friendly. They offer apples in a basket upon check-in. I like how they wrap these fruit individually in Saran Wrap. Certainly makes it ore hygenic.Free breakfast is always a bonus. Premises very clean. Pool is fairly small, but they have a couple of tiki huts that put you in a vacation mode.

Room had dingy smelling carpets, had to buy candle to compensate smell, roach in toilet, broken/creaky tub floor, room key stopped working, went downstairs, no attendant for 10 minutes, I could go on & on but I am running out of characters.

We wanted to stay at a clean hotel for just 1 night inbetween our Legland vacation. Although this hotel was 13 miles away is made the most sense for the price. Staying at one of the Legoland resort has never been an option because of the price. We usually travel with other family members and price and comfort is important. Winter Haven has either really expensive hotels or really outdated hotels. With BW we were able to have a very clean room with free breakfast. With 7 total family members the free breakfast is a huge bonus. I would stay there again.

Very happy with the property. Looks good from the outside, rooms were very clean. Breakfast was decent, toast, english muffins, blueberry muffins, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, etc.. Pool is a bit on the small side, but the kids had a good time, that's all that matters.

This is the hotel we prefer when visiting family in the Auburndale area, and we were not disappointed. Clean and comfortable room, including the bathroom, friendly staff and very good breakfast included. Bed was very comfy and provided a good night's rest.

Overall a pleasant experience. The hotel room was comfortable and clean. The provided breakfast was more than adequate. The personnel were very accommodating and polite. The showerhead leaked and the Wi-Fi did not work very well but these were minor issues. We enjoyed our stay!

This is a nice Facility located close to Restaurants and Shopping. Room seemed to be recently updated and clean. The Room was a good value and a completive rete for the area. Great Staff is very attentive and professional.

We stayed at this location for my nieces soccer tournament April 27/28. Due to some confusion with our room we were put in a suite by the manager. The location was perfect for the soccer venue and it was very clean. The manager Mia went out of her way to be sure all was good for us. Alexandra and Michelle also helped make this a very enjoyable stay. Everyone needs to have such dedicated managers/employees with such outstanding customer service. We would definitely return to this location based on how well we were treated Thank you Mia, Michelle and Alexandra

Staff pleasant, but hotel tired. Our third stay for family reasons. Seems expensive at $191 plus $30 taxes for one night of average hotel. Needed two nights. Only hotel in town. Plenty towels adequate. Our WiFi would not work - our security server did not accept it.

Only a 15 min drive. Nice area. Nice staff. Breakfast included. Rooms were clean. Everything up to Best Western standards. This is a great option. I was concerned at first being that it was Easter break and hotel rates were through the roof for these central areas. I was about to throw in the towel when the BW popped up. It was great. Trip was set!

Listened to the guy in the next room snore all night, along with random banging bumping noises. The folks above kept their TV on all night and I could hear the dialogue perfectly. The room smelled like dirty socks fermenting and the two staff members I came into contact with could care less if they were employed.

Nice hotel. Prices were up due to Strawberry Fest. Sara at the front desk was very nice and helpful. She was helpful getting directions to the Fest and avoid traffic. Breakfast was good. The location was handy for restaurants, too.

My first encounter at checkin was with Sarah. So professional, kind and caring. I came to Florida from Maine to get my 82 yr old mom out of the cold weather, and get to sit outside for a few days. Sarah is way more than a front desk clerk. She was so helpful and willing to cater to the needs of me and my mom.I would hire her in a heartbeat to represent my company if I was local. She is a treasure. All of your staff from housekeeping to other front desk associates are amazing. My interactions with Naomi were also amazing. I have been here many times, and will continue to come often. Sarah exudes exemplary custom service skills, and I hope she gets rewarded for just doing her job. My mother wants to adopt her and take her back to Maine.

We chose to stay here for three days as it was in a not so busy area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It's an older hotel which looks like it has been redone. Breakfast was just okay - we tried the juices but they were pretty watery - the coffee was excellent. The pool was nice but the pool deck and furniture could use some cleaning. Overall, it was a nice place to spend some 'quiet' time.

Booked the room for a large soccer tournament through Expedia. Our team unfortunately had to cancel due to injuries. We are 1 week away from the tournament. Called to cancel and get refund and Best Western is refusing to give the authorization for Expedia to refund our money even though they previously said cancellations up to 24H in advance are okay. Even a supervisor from Expedia contacted and BW still refuses to refund the money. In addition to loosing my family as a customer that will NEVER book at another BW hotel our League Director will also not set up blocks of rooms with BW if they don't make this right with us and other parents that are trying to cancel. Considering we have hundreds of players in our travel league you would think BW would do the right thing! Absolutely horrific customer service!!

I'll definitely be back! The hotel was clean.. and not just a fresh coat of paint kind of clean. It's actually clean. The pool was heated! The breakfast had quality and a variety of foods! Even real yogurt and my girls loved the Nutella on their waffles. The staff were all extremely friendly! It's worth every dollar spent. Honestly, it was hands down my favorite hotel experience!

We stayed here due to it's proximity to the Lake Myrtle fields. (6 minute drive) The rooms were clean and comfortable, bathroom was just ok and the fridge didn't smell too good, but we were hardly ever in the room. Breakfast was good, but the eggs could use some work. Waffles and all other items were great and the kids didn't seem to mind. Coffee was good and free flowing all day. Pool was small, but heated. All in all, it did the job and didn't break the bank.

My stay at the best western was amzing. The staff SARAH and NICK were awesome people and made my stay wonderful. Breakfast time LUCY was amzing doing what she does so everyone has a wonderful breakfast

Stay elsewhere if possible. At least I will. Not up to the standards of the Hilton chain. The only reason I choose this hotel over a local Hampton was because of the jacuzzi in the room. This one turned out to be useless. And when I asked for my rate to be discounted to allow for the crappy tub, I was told the best they could do was knock off $20 a day. This new rate was way more than a standard room would cost me. Plus there were other things in the room that didn't work correctly - all though the manager did help with most of the additional problems. Oh well. Live and learn.

I was immediately impressed by the staff. They were very attentive & knowledgeable. The room was excellent!! I loved the suite having a jacuzzi as well. There were also places to eat & shop nearby. We will most definitely return!

The staff makes this hotel. You feel like your home away from home. Rooms are clean and fresh. Even though they are renovating. And that is just about done. Breakfast is just right. You can eat healthy to start your day.

Very quick check-in. Friendly staff member. Did have an issue with the toilet seat. Front desk sent someone to fix it in less than 10 minutes. Stayed for 2018 Florida Classic Soccer Tournament. Will stay again.

We attended a soccer function and stayed at the Best Western.. The hotel is only 5 minutes away from the sports complex. Decent breakfast and clean rooms. We stay there every time we come to Auburndale for soccer.

When I call to make reservations, the staff always remembers me from previous visits and always tries to give me the room I request. The location is near my kids, so makes it easy to meet and lots of restaurants to eat.

This was a great experience staying in this hotel. The front desk staff and the maintenance staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are all being refurbished and it was very nice to be the first people to use everything in that room

Its always,good,to,stay at bestwesterns. They are my top place to stay when,I am,traveling. Whether its,business or family trips best western is the place that has it all when you need or forgot something

The staff was very friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again. Was conveniently located to LEGO Land. The property is very safe for families and women who may be traveling along.

The stay here was over the top. The room was great. Plenty of towels. The front desk was more than amazing. Really made the stay there. Once I checked in, the lady there was REALLY helpful and friendly. Very happy and great costumer service.

Other than creaky bathtub and worried I might fall through, I did not . That said, the staff, dining area and room were excellent. I loved the view of the front of the hotel the most. I will definitely stay there again if I travel through there.

Good Stay , very good breakfast. So quiet room. In the front desk very nice the people. The decoration in side the room is not have good taste. But you have clean room, good aire condition, hot breakfast, comfortable bead, hot water, good TV......

Went just for the night for an anniversary getaway, and had a wonderful stay. We stayed in the whirlpool suite and although it needed reset, they took care of it promptly and we ended up having an amazing night. That you to the staff for handling it.

Friendly bilingual customer services. Room was clean all the time. The breakfast was great and on time. The hotel is close to shopping center, food restaurants and fast food. It is easy to locate from the street.
