SureStay Plus by Best Western Auburn

Motel could use some repairs but I have no complaints. They keep it clean and I feel welcome there. Nice lobby, breakfast could improve. Like the all day coffee. Stores and restaurants in walking distance. Nice porch for smokers and non smokers. Will return again

We come here often because of the cleanliness, the great breakfast, the good prices and the kind staff. We enjoy the quietness of the area but the accessibility of restaurants, etc. is just a great place to get away and rest. This visit did not disappoint us.

Went for a couple nights to focus on writing but the seating available wasn't the most comfortable. However, if you are looking for a place to stay during a road trip, this place is nice. Convenient location to the interstate, stores, and restaurants. Good breakfast and cute setup.

Staff lied about when breakfast was going to be served on weekends. Wasn't able to get breakfast the morning before my event. When I asked the front desk when checking out, they said it was at 7 and didn't even offer an apology. Rate wasn't that much different than other hotels within a 1/4 mile. One reason I chose this place was because of the "free" breakfast.

This hotel was chosen based upon the excellent reviews. Boy was that a mistake! I cannot believe that anyone would say that this was a clean hotel. The building is in disrepair with dirty walls and stained linens. The seal on the window was broken and cold air blew in. The worst part of our stay was that it was 18 degrees outside, and the heating wall unit was off. It took hours to heat the room to an acceptable temperature. It was quiet but there were not many people staying there. Needless to say, we did not eat breakfast and hope that the owner improves the hotel so that others might have a satisfactory experience. I have added some photos but not all.

Down home feel was excellent. Love the screened in porches.!! The front lobby is cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area. Love that Walmart is within walking distance as well as lots of places to eat out at

The room was just a nor al room, but it was perfect. I was able to open the windows for fresh air, the grounds are lovely. The water pressure was what you would expect from a hotel and the pool was great! I travel monthly and I will definitely book here again!

Stayed in room 105 on Sat 8/26/2023 Affordable rates (best I found among a half dozen all right there), even better with AAA or Best Western Rewards. Great little architectural details, porches, and common areas. Large, clean, recently updated and well appointed rooms with fridge, microwave, and mini coffee naker. Very comfortable bed. Old but very functional through the wall heat / air / fan. Easily keeps room plenty cold (or hot or anything I'm between). No closet just a small hanging space opposite sink just inside room, but outside bathroom (toilet/shower). Bathroom small, dated, but clean. Personable friendly staff. Decent breakfast with: 3 cereals, assorted yogurts, fresh fruit, 3 or 4 juices, coffee, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy (surprisingly good), assorted muffins, toast, biscuits, bagels, PB, jelly, honey, butter, cream cheese, fresh made waffles, maybe real or decent imitation maple syrup. Very affordable pop and snack stuff at the registration counter - way cheaper than the gas station across the street. Walmart, Applebee's, Gas, and numerous drive thru places (including Culver's, Arby's, and more) all very close. A fantastic basic 2 star hotel with a little personality. Brandy the general manager was working the night desk... shows how to lead and prioritize guests with kindness, fairness, humor and a great attitude. With her at the helm the rest all makes sense!

An inexpensive older hotel with a new sign. Overall it was clean and quiet. The first room we were given had not been made up or cleaned. On our return to the front desk we were immediately given another. The lobby is large with table games and people were enjoying them. The hallways need a good coat of paint. The “free” breakfast was about what you would expect for a modest hotel. The coffee was good. I would probably stay there again since all the other nearby choices were chain hotels.

Friendly staff, quick check in, and a clean and tidy room. If you decide to stay here, be sure to take in the beautiful inside lobby decor that the previous owners decided not to change. One regret is we did not have enough time to enjoy sitting on the porches, one on each side of the front door. If we visit Auburn again, we will definitely book this hotel.

I loved this hotel and was leery due to the low price. It is decorated to pay tribute to the auto industry and is an incredible price. I didn't realize it's a little difficult to find. Waze didn't quite work. When you get off the exit for the hotel, turn right at the light for the road. THEN turn right into Aldis. From the Walmart parking lot you'll see the Red Roof. This hotel is right next to it. Wi fi was great, breakfast was basic but good with sausage, biscuits and gravy and a waffle maker.

The place was charming. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was yummy and there was a decent selection of choices. Enjoyed playing chess and checkers in the lobby. Nice country porches for some old fashioned front porch sitting. Loved this place. May need to find other reasons to visit this area just to stay here again.

I reserved a room months before my stay. I called the week before to confirm the days I had reserved and that I had ground floor and two beds. Confirmed. I showed up early the day of my arrival and was told the 2nd floor has not been cleaned yet. I pointed out that I reserved fist floor. She continued to question me if I was sure as there was nothing on my reservation to indicate that. This went back and forth for several minutes. Her questioning me if I was sure and stated no one changed my reservations. Aggravated I left for three hours in hope they would straighten it out. I can back and the man behind the desk guessed who I was. So there must of been conversation. The conversation continued over the changed resv. He insisted I reserved wrong. I told him I resv the same room every time I make a resv. They kept insisting I reserved wrong. This ruined my my evening as they are just insulting me. When I finally got to my room. Only one bed! I checked the week before on the two beds as I friend was going to meet me there and ended up canceling last minute. I knew beyond a shadow the hotel did something. As I checked out Sunday I expressed my frustration again. "Oh I switched it" the female clerk says. Because a third party told her I was with them and switching to the second floor should be no problem. I have nephropathy and carrying things up and down stairs can be dangerous as I cannot feel my feet. I've fallen multiple times. The fact this hotel staff continued to belittle me for not making my reservation correctly and connecting me to group that I had noting in my reservation to do so. My weekend was ruined as I had stars to worry about and being insulted by the staff o0f this hotel when t was their doing and denial. Don't expect what you reserve or even what you may confirm the week before your stay. I guess show up and see what they give you. Had they told me the week before when I called I would of found another hotel. In all actions. They never apologized. They never said I'm sorry with the exception "I'm sorry sir you did not put that in your notes" I did and they deleted it.

I stopped at this hotel for a one night stay traveling through Indiana. The check in was smooth with the employee being very professional and courteous, The room was clean- loves that it had a bathtub. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The check out staff was also excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stray again if in the area. .

Clean is the most important factor in a hotel stay & this hotel fit the bill. Our room was also comfortable & quiet. Everything functioned as it should. Exterior needs a bit of work, but nothing that affected the interior. Hotel personnel were friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We stay at this hotel every time we travel here for business. It is a quiet setting with a lot of pictures and replicas of the areas car history. The beds are comfortable and you get a firm and soft pillow choice. Small breakfast with good variety of choices including juice, fruit and real eggs. The rooms are older but clean. They also have an screened in outdoor area for people that smoke.

Mia's customer service was amazing! Very kind and open to talking to the guests. Breakfast was great for what they had. I loved the atmosphere and the smokers porch. They did have a nonsmoking porch as well. Felt safe and at home. Highly recommend.

Everyone here is always so friendly, and the rooms are well cleaned. Comfortable beds are a huge plus. Hotel is easy to find right off the freeway, but set back from the road enough that traffic noise has never been a problem for us.

This hotel used to be the local Auburn Inn. It is so quaint. You walk into a delightful old fashioned looking lobby. The hostesses are so friendly and care about your comfort and stay. It is about 15 minutes from Waterloo, IN Amtrak train station.

The staff was very helpful and they would get breakfast out real early for those folks that went to work early. I like it because I got fresh towels daily that a huge plus for me. I will definitely stay here again!!!

Do not use their card swiper, it works intermittently, have them manually input your credit card information. I have my credit card company disputing one of the two charges. They charged me two times for the same night stay. Oh and the coffee pot in my room was really bad. Took 15 min to make one 1/2 cup of coffee. With the shower curtain completely closed the water seems to find it way on the floor around the toilet. Poorly designed bathtub.

We had stayed at this place back when it was the Auburn Inn and booked a room because it had been such a positive experience. What a disappointment! The ownership apparently has changed and so has the quality and not for the better. It began when we booked our stay ahead of time and decided to extend our stay. We called the hotel and they could not find our registration in spite of the fact we had a confirmation number. It turns out they had misspelled our name on the original booking. We corrected the spelling and asked to extend our stay when we were told was possible. When we went to check in we found out they had NOT corrected the spelling and again it was a problem. Imagine our surprise on the third night of our stay we were locked our room only to be told we only had reservations for two not three nights. We were told we could stay the third night but the price was outrageously high but we did not have an alternative at that time. Of note was the fact the hotel did not appear to be crowded so we were not charged the way higher amount because of availability. The breakfast was the same all three days - over cooked fried eggs and sausage (in addition to other options) not at all like the last time. Not sure I would want to go back.

I will start out with the positive things~the lady at the front desk who checked us in was very nice and friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable and the TV had lots of channels. As someone else mentioned ~when we first walked up the sidewalk we noticed the carpet on the front steps was ripped and falling off and the steps squeaked, there's a broken railing on the top front of the building and one of the front gas lights has a globe missing. In our room they had taken a towel rack off one wall in the bathroom and globbed some drywall "mud" over the holes but they didn't take another half hour to sand it and repaint it! All the things that need to be done are not costly or will take a lot of time but they take away from the appearance of the hotel. IT JUST NEEDS SOME LOVE AND A LITTLE BIT OF ATTENTION!!

Overall this is the worst Best Western I've stayed in. The entrance and porches are falling apart and filthy, if I hadn't made reservations I would have left just from the first impressions. The pool was clean but the cement surround was broken up and the furniture was dirty and there were no towels. There is no shade at all at the pool so you sit there and bake while the kids play in the water. We've stayed here annually for about 30 years and it has gotten progressively worse each year. I know these are individually owned but doesn't Best Western have standards they have to meet ?

I love this hotel, everytime we travel to Indiana to spend time with my family we stay here. The rooms are clean, the desk personnel are very friendly and helpful, the free breakfast is more than just cold cereal or donuts. The rooms have a frig., microwave cable TV. What I really like is you cannot hear the people in the next room. They even have a smoking area.

Everyone was so nice here! The accommodations were excellent. Very clean, fresh rooms. The breakfast was delicious (waffles). The outside pool was just amazing, as we're the grounds. Everything was kept up and beautiful. We will definitely stay here again.

We were in town for my son's basketball tournament. Very nice hotel and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the check in and out process was very smooth. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time in Auburn indiana this past week. !!! Was a nice little get away,quiet, close by shopping. We are thinking about moving here!!! Nice little country style setting. Great family location.

This hotel was a very clean and quaint hotel, just what our family needed. Even though we were in the area for a sad occasion the staff made us feel right at home. One of the best things I liked about the hotel was it is only a two story hotel with some of the older style woodworking (or so it seemed to me). The front entryway has 4 stairs to walk up to a beautiful oval windowed entry door. On the outside of the entryway there are two separated closed in porches, one for smoking and one non smoking. The vegetation at the entryway gives a feeling of being in a country like setting even though the building itself sist in a mall area. Wonderful idea! Clean rooms and helpful staff will make me want to come back to the area.

Broken tv remote, coffee maker heated water, did not dispense, jets in tub broken, all non essential. In the AM when toilet overflowed, and flooded the Bathroom, that was the deal breaker. Reported to desk, unable to shower before we had to leave. One person operation doesn't cut it. Never again.they were busy fixing the oj machine.

Hubby and I drive a truck were helping at a Walmart on a dedicated run to Michigan everyday..we take a break and this hotel is perfecr.I Its quaint its homey and the rooms are huge and bed is so comfy.the breakfast is good and they have afternoon cookies not the cheap ones but otis spunkmyer, the check in was easy and every staff member we came across was super nice and they have a wrap around screened porch..I love this hotel and we will be back in a few weeks..Thank you so much Shane & Dana Shoemaker

We love this hotel! It's been a great getaway for us the past 8 years and we're amazed at how affordable it is! The hotel has a "warm" atmosphere and makes you feel at home in many ways. We love the large rooms and the bed/bedding is so comfortable. When we want to do a last minute trip close to home, this is our go-to!!

We love this place! It's warm and inviting, clean, and the customer service is always great. We've been coming for about 10 years and is such a great place to really rest - which is exactly what we needed! And the price is wonderful!!

Formerly the Auburn Inn, Best Western has kept the beautiful woodwork that adds so much charm to the property. The large lobby offers a sitting area for groups to gather and plan their day or share their adventures. The room was spacious and clean with a microwave and mini 'fridge. Plenty of free on property parking. The fitness room has limited equipment. Our first encounter with a Sure Stay did not leave a good impression but this property is absolutely gorgeous and immaculate. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

This hotel is a great value! It's inexpensive, clean, and located conveniently off the highway near restaurants and stores in Auburn. We stay here whenever we come to the area. The only problem we've experienced was that our room's cooling system did not work well during our last visit. At checkout, we did notice several new air conditioners in boxes...So hopefully this issue will be resolved.

This has not been our experience in the many times past, but this time: Not up to COVID protocols either. Room was dirty around edges, toilet was still very dirty from previous visitors. Minimal breakfast was unappetizing, could have offered healthier pigs choices, Security doors didn't lock. Breakfast staff spent most of time w/her phone.

This hotel and staff were great. They pay attention to the little details that make a stay great. From all-day available coffee, to the screened in porch, and the available afternoon cookies, the amenities were wonderful. Also, the free breakfast was hot, plentiful, and delicious. The best breakfast I've had at a hotel since the pandemic started.

The motel exceeded our expectation. The bed was comfortable so we slept well. The room had a microwave and a refrigerator which we didn't end up using. There was a variety of items to choose from for breakfast and we left full. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice clean hotel and very helpful staff. Booked our room on the official website, for some reason it sent the hotel incorrect information. There were 3 of us and they had us in a single bed room. Alysa worked for 20 minutes to shuffle things to get us a room with 2 beds. It was difficult for her because they and every hotel was at capacity due to the county fair. She went above and beyond to make it work

I/we have stayed at this hotel several times when it was the Auburn Inn. The character of the large lobby is appealing, along with the covered porches (when someone is not out there smoking). My non-smoking room was indeed non-smoking. Their basic breakfast was just that, but ample. The luggage cart is almost useless as there are steps from the driveway into the hotel, and there are no automatic doors. The only realistic option is to use the side door at the end of the building. I also cleaned the AC filters in the shower - they were filthy. Staff told me they were cleaned more often during the height of COVID, but it was obvious these were not cleaned in months.

We just checked in. Lobby is beautiful. It is hard to find. The reviews are inflated. I'm not sure where these people have stayed. This is gross. See the attached photos. Mold and holes in the wall in the bathroom. The amount of dirt on the floor and door is scary.

The hotel is a little hard to find (it's behind other buildings), but it's worth it. Designed to look like an old fashioned inn, though built only about 40 years ago, it has a pretty, wooded lobby and a couple of screened in porches. The rooms are nothing fancy, but perfectly fine, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom/shower works well. Breakfast is nothing fancy, but there was enough variety to make it work (good coffee, too).

My room was really clean, including the carpet. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The lobby is kind of cute, too. It has an old time charm about it. The lady at the front desk was polite and it didn't take long to get a room. Only con is that the parking isn't great. However, if you're hungry, there's plenty of places nearby to grab some food and there's a Walmart next door.☺️

I was impressed when we first walked in. The lobby is beautiful - lots of classic woodwork, and a cozy seating area around a fireplace. I know it might not be everyone's thing; but I liked the fact that they had open Bibles on two of the side tables. If that's not something you like they can be ignored, but I thought it was a nice touch. To either side of the front entrance are screened in porches, with a table and four rocking chairs each. One is smoking, one is non-smoking. We were hanging out in the non-smoking porch last night, and couldn't notice the smoke from the other side.... Our room was large and clean, and our king bed was very comfortable. There is a breakfast buffet in the mornings. I look forward to staying here again when we're in the area. ( If I was pressed to find something negative I would mention the fact that the tub/shower was more slippery on the bottom than I was comfortable with.... It isn't something that would stop me from staying again, or from recommending it to everyone. I recommend that you take in the great car museums in town, as well.

we have stayed there now four times and will go back again when in town. Staff is excellent service as well. Would go back again when in town. Screened in patio is a big plus. Restaurants close by as well as Walmart.

The hotel has lots of charms. Feels like a quaint little bed and breakfast. Had breakfast every morning on the screened in porch. Rooms were clean and fairly updated. The only complaint we had was the fan only button on the air unit didn't work and the toilet was loose on the floor. It shifted under any weight. Also, the bathroom fan did not work. Compared to the over all stay though those were very minor things. The staff over all was very friendly, the rooms were clean and well maintained, the hotel in general was clean and well maintained, and the bed and breakfast feel was a wonderful experience.

Room was clean and spacious got a text morning after 1st.night asking if everything was ok and if we needed anything to let them know . Breakfast bar was excellent and kept stocked. Screened in porch was perfect for evening drinks and socializing

Very impressed with the cleanliness of this reconditioned property. Very large and updated room. It had one of the BEST window A/C operation I have had in 10 years!! No noise, automatic and kept room cool. Limited Breakfast, but adequate. Excellent Coffee, Juices, Waffles and misc. Local relatives visited who had not seen this property & were impressed with the style, decor and cleanliness. Excellent staff BUT, short staffed. GREAT bed,TV....

This facility is older but has been maintained and was vary clean. Room had better and more bath towels than most hotels costing more per night. This hotel meet and exceeded all of our needs at an extremely reasonable price

When I arrived, check in was fast and the guy at the desk was friendly. The hotel was very clean and organized. I enjoyed my stay. Upon checking out the lady was very nice. I would definitely stay there again!

The lobby is an old timey theme and very welcoming. Room was clean, looked very nice and well stocked with towels. The evening clerk was very nice and helped me with any problem. I would have no problem recommending others to stay here sight unseen.

Decent hotel. Nice staff and ok rooms. Breakfast quality was disappointing. The location was right off the highway but room was quiet. The room was very large with microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was a bit dated, but clean.

This hotel is local for us, about 10 miles from home, but I wish I could find more like it when traveling. We stayed when our water heater went out before a holiday weekend and we wanted a place to take a nice hot shower. It is a nice, safe location with ample parking, and an easy walk without crossing traffic to Culver's, Arby's and Aldi. Within about a half mile there are at least a dozen fast food chains, as well as Cebollas and Jalapeños Mexican restaurants, Oriental Gourmet, Oriental Buffet (they do carry out) and Salvatori's Italian restaurants. It is also very close to Walmart, Kroger, Dollar Tree and CVS. The room was pretty big, with a comfortable bed, refrigerator and microwave. The sink was outside the toilet/shower area. There was plenty of water pressure. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly. We felt it was a good deal for the price range and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we need a hotel in the area. Be advised, there are 3 steps up from parking to lobby entrance, although there is a buzzer to notify them if the steps are a problem. Maybe there is another door without steps, I didn't ask. If steps are a problem, I would recommend contacting the property. The only thing I would change is that the bathtub floor was a little slippery, though certainly not the worst I've encountered in a hotel. There was a large towel rack/handrail in the shower. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and felt that this motel was a good value for the price.

A good value for a trip to Auburn. Very nicely automobile themed. Patio spaces available for warmer days. Friendly staff. All well with the room. Breakfast as good as can be expected during a Pandemic.

This hotel reminds you of a small town ski resort with it comfy sitting areas and fireplace. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The modified breakfast was hot and tasty with eggs sausage and biscuits.

I flew into Fort Wayne to pick up a truck I bought on the Internet. Mechanical issues necessitated on overnight stay. Checked Trip Advisor and landed here. The hotel was built in the early 80's with early twentieth century decor focus around the Auburn car history. Hallways are well lit, doors have modern cars touch electronic locks. Rooms are large, spacious and accommodating with ample work desk, refrigerator and microwave. King rooms have comfy chair and ottoman, double queen does not. LG big screen had plenty of premium channels. AC was package unit that was quiet and efficient. Rooms were clean, beds and pillows very comfortable. Bathroom also very clean. I did request a different room as the base of the TV in the first room was broken. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Joined the Best Western club and got $6 reduction on room price. For $59, I haven't found a better value in all my travels. As a matter of full disclosure, I do not have any connection to this hotel or Best Western or any employees;

Selected this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews. It's over rated! Older facility with local decor which is neat. Have two nice screened in front porches to relax. Hotel is not ADA compliant. Two steps up to get into the lobby, and no elevator to reach second floor. For young healthy people, not a problem. For senior citizens with arthritis, not a good choice. Large rooms, clean, comfortable. Did not get to shower in the morning - control knob fell off in my hands - should have checked it when we checked into the room. Could have got a different room at that point. Surprised with good breakfast during Covid - hot breakfast served by staff, cafeteria style. Dining area was tight - we weren't six feet apart.

The old Auburn Inn still has the class of its prime. Our king room was a great value, very clean, and offered a great night's sleep. (The only negative: while it was very clean, the shower/tub could use some attention with a little paint & plaster.)The COVID-19 breakfast was good with several options available. We will stay again!

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in that is lower priced. The lobby has a very homey feel with screened in porch and rocking chairs. Breakfast was yummy and had quite the selection. They also have a very nice outdoor pool. The pool area was extremely clean! This will always be my hotel of choice when visiting the area.

everything was great from the room to the outside screened-in patios, which is a great plus for the hotel. Lots of places to eat near-by stores Walmart all with-in walking distance. Will stay there again when in town again.

This was my second time staying here. It's a new BW property and very nice indeed. Very clean and socially distanced for COVID times. The room was very clean as were the common areas. The free breakfast was abbreviated but very nice just the same. I will stay here again when I come to Auburn.

Lovely place with old school charm but modern conveniences. Lots of hot water. Room was very clean. Bed was rock solid, just how I like tham. Quiet. Some highway nouise as it is a few hunderd yards away but I use earplugs so no prob for me. Great staff.

This hotel is awesome! Angelica was the front desk clerk when I checked in and she had just made cookies! YES! You get afternoon warm, fresh cookies here! Angelica is very pleasant and capable and was helpful to me during my stay - great personality, always cheerful. My room was a King room on the first floor. It was well appointed, the bed was comfortable, the internet worked flawlessly, there were a lot of TV stations, I never ran out of hot water, the breakfast was good each day with many selections of both hot and cold foods, fruit, yogurt, etc. as well as bagels, muffins, pastries, eggs, biscuits & gravy, make your own waffles, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something. It was always clean and items were always fresh. This location is close to just about everything! You can walk to Applebee's or Culver's, Walmart or Aldi. The microwave and fridge were helpful when I grocery-shopped for supper instead of eating in a restaurant. Note: the fridge has a small freezer at the top - I say this only because some hotels don't have that, and this one does. It helped me freeze my ice-packs for my cooler to travel with. Even though you are close to so many things, my room was very quiet. Tip: being a security expert, if you have a first floor or ground floor room always make sure that your windows are locked before you go to sleep or leave the room with valuables in it! I had a ground floor room and had no problems and this is a very safe area, don't get me wrong, but as a woman travelling alone and having been in the security business I mention this so that other travelers are aware. Everyone on staff that I encountered was very nice. The hotel has a home-like feel to it with a screened porch and games like checkers available and also a fireplace and a sitting area in the lobby. Very nice.

Great comfort and convenience. My second stay and I'll always stay here when in the area. This older facility is completely update with HD tv, USB ports and a nice breakfast. Close to I-69 and my business calls.

For our 54th wedding anniversary we enjoyed our stay at the Sure stay Plus Best Western Hotel while checking out the Auto Museums in Auburn Indiana. There was a fire going in the fireplace in the main lobby that made our registration all the more enjoyable. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We were given quite a few options from their breakfast bar. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy one of their front porches or their outdoor pool.

Older but well maintained & clean motel. Breakfast was standard Best Western items but more than enough for a great start to our day. We would stay here again-great value & close to the venues we wanted to visit.

This is a very nice place with fireplace in lobby and screened in porches to set in during nice weather. We had a large room with lots of space to put things. Everything was clean and comfortable. Will stay here again when in the area.

The beds were comfortable. The rooms were quiet and clean. The price was very reasonable and it was just off the highway. There was a free breakfast. My daughter got to make her own waffles. I would stay there again.

Good-value, clean, breakfast and location. Needs improvement-breakfast variety (has several choices but if you're there for extended stay, it's the same thing every morning. If sleeping on the right or North wing, be ready for traffic noise.

Nicest lobby I've ever seen at this price point. All staff members helpful and courteous. Great location. Some issues with the HVAC unit, which I reported to management ... the unit would randomly switch itself to AC mode. Not nice in December!

Stayed here over 25 years ago when it was the Auburn Inn. So happy to see it's kept the local feel. Homey and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Auburn area. Good location.

I really enjoyed the 1 night here check in easy and quick. The room a king size bed which was super comfortable I had a great nights sleep you have the usual flat screen tv microwave fridge etc free wifi which I didn't use. Breakfast was nice the standard best western plenty and quality from waffles toast bagels to hot sausage egg biscuit etc. They do have a gym with 2 machines didn't use.

I love this motel I stay here every chance I get and always have enjoyed it. The breakfast bar is great and the food taste great as well I have no complaints with any of my stays and I have passed it on

This place is definately a 5 star in my books, Great place to stay, super friendly, super quiet, will come again great sleep, Walmart right across the street and an Arby's that you get a discount at just for staying!

Don't pass over this small-name hotel by Best Western. Quiet, perfect location, large rooms, large lobby, screened porches. Adequate breakfast. Very comfortable stay. We'll be back for next year's Great Lakes Game convention

I book this room as a one night stop over of a 10 day trip. 50th anniversary, first night out, wanted it to be nice so I booked this room based on the web site. When we arrived we had trouble finding it because the sign was covered up. The hotel had been sold. We couldn't get in the front door because it was blocked off. The lobby was tore up. I understand it was going thru a remodel but I booked this hotel from their website as the "Auburn Inn". "Historic and Elegant", boy was I in for a surprise. Old is not historic. I booked it on the phone so I actually talked to them. No one told us the name had changed, the lobby was torn up, the carpet had been removed from the stairs. We stayed in a construction zone. and no elevator. I'm dragging my bags up a stairway where the carpet is mostly gone. The room was well below what we expected. credit card machine didn't work at check in. Just totally disappointed. The rate was reasonable but we sure didn't get our monies worth. Came back down to ask for recommendations to a restaraunt. No one was there except some construction workers that didn't speak english. Could not find anyone at 6:00pm

This is an older hotel. It is being updated and the lobby and screened porches are attractive. DO NOT book this hotel through a booking site. Call direct for the best rates (the web site link does not work). The staff is friendly and accommodating. Although surrounded by newer hotels and businesses, we would defintely book again.

The property and staff are first class. I could not ask for a better stay. Clean modern efficient first class staff and best of all a GREAT NIGHTS SLEEP. I've stayed in hotels three times this price and have not received the level of service and comfort as I did at this location

This hotel has ornate wood paneling from at least 60 years ago in the main lobby. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is located only about a mile from downtown Auburn and 1.5 mile from the Auburn Cord Duesenberg automobile museum. The only drawback for me was its location next to the interstate and some road noise at night.

I had booked a double queen room but was given a king with a little love seat. My 12 year old is 5'10 so that would not work. When we went back to the desk there were several excuses before she finally admitted that there was a correct room available and could stay. I almost moved on. Beds were comfortable. I don't know about breakfast because I missed it.

Stayed here a single night and enjoyed our stay, including being offered homemade cookies at the front desk by a friendly clerk. The interior of the hotel is quite nice and seemed almost plush, with a round couch in the main lobby and screened verandas on either side of the main entrance to the lobby. Our king room was clean, quiet and comfortable and just a few steps from the lobby. The free breakfast was a nice bonus that we enjoyed. My only small complaint was that I had trouble adjusting the shower, which assaulted me with such a force that the streams of water felt like tiny knives. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay.

We stay 3 night at the Auburn Inn. great service, nice helpful staff, good breakfast. Double queen. great rustic style. easy parking. Centrall location easy drive toAuburn Cord Duesenburg Museum. The National Auto Truck is behind ACD Museum too. less than 2 miles away.

The off-season rates are amazing for a hotel with beautiful woodwork, antique wall paper and a screened in porch. Plus a wonderful breakfast is included with eggs, breakfast meats plus biscuits and gravy. Very impressive!

I thought from the other reviews that with the screened in porches, that this hotel would be in a picturesque setting - but no it is in a store parking lot. Our greeting was from someone who hated their job. There was no workout area and the breakfast was substandard for this class of a hotel. Everything was clean though.
