Wonderful stay and very comfortable. The beds were great and it was quiet. The price was low and didn't expect much, but it was nicer than expected. Breakfast the normal free breakfast and was good . The area was a good area. Went to the Quick trip next door and got water.
I have never felt unwelcomed in a hotel until I stayed at this one by the man working at the front desk. His attitude from the time he walked out was bad and just got worse. I will never darken that place again. The room we were in had a funny odor to it, almost like a chemical smell, almost burnt your eyes til you got use to it. Our carpet was damp so I am not sure if they had just cleaned the carpets or what. Breakfast was 2 stars.
I stayed one night for an early flight. I would have rated this 4 stars but there was no hot water in the shower. It's been a long time since I've had to endure a cold shower and it's not all pleasant. The hotel was not full - the parking lot didn't have many cars - so I don't think it was a case where a bunch of people got up early to shower and used it up. Other than that the room was very basic with plain furniture, plain walls (not even cheap hotel art), a sticky TV remote, hard mattress with spongy pillows, and signs of wear and tear such as chipped paint. Breakfast was very basic so I skipped it.
Rooms are furnished with above average furnishings. Didn't hear any sound from adjacent rooms. Refrigerator was adequate temperature as well as the freezer. It kept a small container of ice cream frozen. TV's connection has been upgraded in the rooms. Is easy to operate. CC is very easy to turn on/off. Room AC was set to a comfortable setting upon arrival. Amenities were in the room as well as availability to makea hot cup of coffee/ tea (decaf also). Additional items available at the desk, just need to inquire. All staff have been very pleasant and efficient. Adjacent and across street are eating places & a Quiktrip is at their "front door". Walked over thru parking lot without having to navigate the traffic on the street. Will definitely be staying again nex week>and in the future anytime needing to stay overnight in Owasso, OK. Ice & drink machine on both floors. Apologies for this review being so lengthy.
Hotel is conveniently located right off of Highway 169 in Owasso, OK. Lots of fast food nearby. Rooms were adequately clean and staff was friendly.
We had started our trip with a let down of a hotel and then we went to the Sure Stay plus by Best Western on 76th street. The desk attendant was very helpful and accommodating to our needs. We had a king size bed room. It was very clean and nice. The bed was comfortable! There was no over use of cleaners to cover smells in this hotel at all! We were on the floor with dog owners and you never knew they were there. It a very clean and nice hotel. The cleaning staff do an amazing job! Little more variety in breakfast hot food options is the only thing I would say. The options we had were good tho. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're in the Owasso O.K area.
This is a great place to stay. The room was very clean. The staff were all very nice. My handicapped room was great! I could actually get in the shower and there was a rail at the toilet. It was very quiet, even on the weekend. The only thing that I didn't care for was the breakfast. We ate it the first two days, and elected to go elsewhere the last two days. If in the area, I will definitely stay there again.
We stayed at this SureStay Plus in Owasso for a week long business trip. The location was excellent, only spoiled by nearby construction. But even with that, we were within 6 minutes drive of all of the places we needed to be that week. The beds were softer than some hotel beds but still a little firm. AC worked great. The kitchenette had a semi-full size frig, a 2 burner stove and a microwave. There are no utensils, pans, pots, silverware or glasses provided in this kitchenette, so bring anything you want to eat on or cook with (this surprised us as we were used to kitchenettes being equipped at other hotels). The BBQ/Picnic area is in bad shape and the grill is like the ones you see at state parks, so bring your own charcoal. The breakfast was biscuits and sausage gravy along with cut up sausage pads, 3 types of cereal, yogurt, along with packaged sweet rolls, a gallon jug of milk and a coffee maker. This did not change in our 5 day stay. It was exactly the same every morning. The room has one table and no desk. Plan on working or eating, not both. The sink did not stop up and there is no way to stop up the bathtub for a bath. We do carry a universal stopper that allowed full sink and a bath so consider adding something like that to your collection, Housekeeping was super - kept the room nice during the stay and while not the Homewood Suites or a Residence Inn, it worked out well for our trip. Had to use the airport shuttle for a quick trip back to Dallas and was almost late to the flight as they tried to put a later shuttle request together with mine. Overall, a good place. Will stay here again.
All of the people who helped us were wonderful. Polite and very nice. Beds were softer, but still hard, than everywhere else we stayed during our 2 week vacation. Room, reception area and breakfast area were very clean.
This hotel has Nice clean and comfortable rooms. They have Helpful and caring staff. Good location for our trips in the area. Good choices from the complentary breakfast, we always enjoy our stay in this hotel.
I was making a reservation online through the Best Western website and I called the hotel to confirm the price included taxes and fees. I was told it did but when I checked in the price increased almost $30.00 because of taxes and fees on top of the $4.00 per night cleaning fee. Plus $100 damage deposit. Just be careful when making an online reservation and be prepared to pay more plus don't believe what they tell you.
Very good service with shuttle collect to & from airport. Staff professional and accommodating. Very professional. Rooms clean and well arranged. Comfortable beds. All necessary services. Breakfast facilities adequate but not used. Would certainly recommend this hotel as a way point for travelers. General Managers Nicki & Paul cannot be faulted for their service and attitude
Nikki and Paul, the owners, are amazing. We stayed during a power outage that was declared a state of emergency. There were no hotel rooms anywhere and when we found them we lucked out. The room was extremely clean and nice. The housekeeping staff were kind and helpful. The overall experience was perfect!
Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. . The bed was comfortable, the linens soft, and the bathroom was neat and clean.
We were without power after a huge storm rendered the majority of Tulsa without power Saturday June 18th. Sunday afternoon we had called & checked every possibility for a cool room for the night. We were fortunate enough to find Sure Stay Plus in Owasso, they had just re-gained power & had people lined out the door praying for a room. Nikki, the manager came up with a game plan off the cuff & started to get everyone on a list. As the phone rang off the hook, she dealt with calls & us all simultaneously. I was so impressed by her calm under pressure to get staff to prepare rooms for many family's and always did so with a calm demeanor & a smile. This would not be our last encounter with Nikki. We booked two nights that Sunday, only to find out that power to Tulsa was expected to be restored the following Saturday! Again I spoke with Nikki only to find out that there were no rooms left. She somehow managed to book us for two more nights (in a different room) It made us feel so special that she worked to figure out how to accommodate us once again. Having stayed in two different rooms in her hotel, we can say with confidence that this is a modern, clean & exceptionally comfortable place to call home when home is not available! thank you for the great experience!!
Staff was amazing. We had to extend our stay, manager was very helpful. Hotel is visually clean and smells clean as well. Standard breakfast with waffle option. Surprisingly quiet during the weekend .
This place tried to charge for a service animal and then proceeded to ask what the service animal is for and said its not a disability when the dog is papered. This place is by far the worst Best Western we have ever encountered. Such a shame to do that to someone. The lady's name is Donna. I do not recommend this place. When calling for GM name she hangs up. Would give -0 if I could. Be aware you guys. She's very very unprofessional. By law you can't even ask what the dog is for. Hippa violation. This is sad, very sad. Shes disabled and now you made her feel bad. That's bad bad customer service. Will be calling sure stay cooperate and BW cooperate for sure.
Excellent Customer service! Excellent Location! Excellent good night's sleep! Excellent Breakfast Selection! Excellent coffee! Excellent amenities! Excellent environment! Excellent parking area! Excellent overall stay!
Excellent room and very clean. Breakfast is meh..sausage is terrible, biscuits were hard as a rock. Front desk is excellent. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the breakfast. Parking lot is well lit.
Nice clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Good variety of breakfast options and several places to set and enjoy your meal. Good location and easy to access. Being close to shopping and restaurants helped us get settled in for a good nights sleep.
The shower pressure was great. Our dog was welcome, for a fee. You cannot leave the dog unattended which may be understandable but I didn't think of that before our stay which caused my adult son to have to stay in the room instead of joining our mission activities Staff was not friendly or helpful but was not rude either. The breakfast stinks. They have sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy, waffles, sugary cereal, and the same muffin in a cardboard tray that were set out every day. I'm thinking they were likely very stale.
We use Sure Stay Plus Hotel in Owasso for our employees when working in the area. The hotel staff are kind and attentive, the hotel is clean and no smoking. The rooms have been clean and the PRICE is excellent. The location is close to the airport and they offer a shuttle.
1) they did not come to make the room!!! :-( 2) terrible internet 3) water in bathroom doesn't drain :-( 4) shower poor water flow 5) having a kitchenet - but no idea what for, since there is no cup, no plate, not even a spoon, so how do they expect to cook or eat anything?!? 6) Breakfast is below poor.
This hotel stay caused us to forever boycott all Best Western hotels. The coffee maker had dried coffee grinds which showed that it had never been cleaned. The bathtubs were not cleaned, dirt on the shower walls and dark stains on the tub floor. They said it was no smoking rooms but they tried to hide the smoke smell with sickly fruit scented deodorizer to try and hide the smoke smell....it didn't work. The laundry facility was filthy and the washer didn't work....I had to call the front desk twice to help me get my laundry out of the washer, the lock would not unlock on the washer door.I ended up having to wring out my clothes and put them in the other washer.I ended up spending 4 hours washing 4 loads of laundry and spending $16.00.The walls were filthy and there was dirt all around the edges of the walls and the floor hadn't been cleaned at all! It was hard to get service as there was a bell at the front desk but I tried ringing twice and no one came. The smell was the worst. The whole place smelled like a dirty apartment that was using fruit scented deodorizer to cover up the smell...it didn't work, smelled terrible. The beds were awful to sleep on,didn't get much sleep.Never again will we ever step into a Best Western/Sure Stay Hotel.
In contrast to some recent Best Western stays, this property was CLEAN (no science experiments growing in the shower - bonus points!). The room was comfortable and everything worked. They are ‘pet friendly' for an acceptable $15/night for our little dog. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The “hot breakfast” only works if you count the waffle maker (yum) and toaster. All the rest was cold cereal, fruit and packaged pastries (it filled the hole but McDonalds is just up the street). But, again, the breakfast spot was CLEAN. The parking lot was well lit so we felt like it was safe to leave the truck overnight. The price was right and if we're ever back in the area, would definitely stay here again.
My entire stay at Sure Stay was like a home away from home experience!! Excellent Customer Service . The Hotel staff really cared about there guests. They even paid very close attention to sanitizing and cleaning the hotel rooms!!
We spent the night here before flying out early from Tulsa International. While there was a little bit of a drive, this hotel was a good choice for us. From a simple check-in process to a really clean room to an excellent price, we recommend Surestay!
Super clean, very accommodating, staff are very friendly. In a safe area, bed was comfortable, even smelled clean the staff allowed us to check in as early as possible because we had somewhere to go until midnight. Can't find friendlier people.
Amazing value for the quality. We have pretty much decided that this is the hotel of our choice when ever we are in this area. It, conveniently located next to the highway. The staff is always helpful and courteous. The rooms are large and clean. The bed is comfortable, the rooms are quiet. We generally sleep in so have not actually had the opportunity to try their breakfast offering. About the only downside for this hotel is the parking. It's barely enough especially when it's over half full with large dually trucks or folks who aren't mindful to park within the lines.
I chose this hotel because of the ratings and the free shuttle from the airport. I only needed a quick overnight stay. When I landed at the airport, I called Paul, and he was there within about 15 minutes in a car to pick me up. He was very personable, and helped with my luggage. Nikki at the front desk helped my with my quick check-in. They made sure I had everything I needed. The free breakfast was good, and Paul made sure I had a bottle of water to take with me on my journey. He took me back to the airport, and made sure I was happy with my stay. This hotel is a bit further from the airport, but it was definitely worth the few minutes drive to stay at a safe, clean hotel.
Carpets are nasty. Weird smell when you come in. The rooms smell bad and are stuffy. Our alarm clock came on with a static sound as we were going to bed. I turned it all the way down and this morning while getting up at 5:30 the static sound came on again. The stairwell smells like a barn. Entrance to the elevator had something nasty looking smeared on it. Breakfast bar isn't much. Hot water in the shower only gets warm. I won't be back.
Best Western in Owasso has been our go to hotel for some time. It is always clean, reasonably priced, and has all the amenities for our stay of 1 to 4 nights while in the area. TV, Internet, Ice, Breakfast, Coffee 24x7, etc. We don't spend much time at the hotel, but they reliably offer all the basics we need in the mornings and evenings. It is quiet, well kept, easy to navigate, and convenient to other businesses, They are always friendly and responsive.
Glad we found this hotel on AMEX Travel site. Staff was great, quiet rooms, nice beds. Booking another night for a trip next week. We stayed for 3 nights while looking for a place to move. A definite recommendation from us.
My family and I stayed here for one night while visiting my parents at Baptist Village. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was fresh, and the staff was attentive and always available. We will stay there again. For the price, it can't be beat.
I enjoyed a fairly normal stay at very nice hotel without a mask mandate. I stayed here because of the Health and Freedom Conference in Broken Arrow. Their hotels were full, Tulsa's hotels require masks, this hotel in Owasso made masks optional. This is the one I chose.
Food good convenient atm work out place vending good rooms clean but when asked could i check in early guy said no have to pay 30 more he watch ed me trying to stay awake in the lobby need to be more accommodating for overnight workers
My my, this hotel was amazing! the hotel managers are so very sweet, and the rooms were so clean. it was amazing service, from top to bottom. they took care of us. the rooms were clean, showers worked amazing. recommend staying here!!!!
Paul and his team do a great job, and we will continue to stay here when in Owasso. Everyone from the off hours desk staff and housekeeping are polite, professional, and helpful. This location and facility is convenient and always clean and welcoming.
First time trying out a hotel on Owasso and was not disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are well appointed and quiet. The current road construction makes it a little challenging maneuvering in and out but not impossible. We did not get a chance tontry out their continental breakfast.
I stayed here for a week when I first moved to OK. You will not find a better place for the value! Room was spacious, very quiet and comfortable. Staff was really friendly and accommodating. The fact that they have a guest laundry room is a huge plus! I'd definitely stay there again and recommend to all types of travelers! It is pet friendly and a non-smoking facility.
