SureStay by Best Western Meridian

I like to start by saying I stay in hotels throughout the country and very few have great location. To be in Meridian, MS this is a nice hotel, friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast could be better but four stars is why I rate this hotel. Until next time

We spent One night here. It was clean and basic. TV remote didn't work but just needed new batteries. Ice machine was out of order but you could get ice from the office. The people working there are trying very hard. Hotel was quiet. It is a little confusing to get to.I would recommend if just for a night or 2.

The accommodations were great, and the people were better. The breakfast was the best we had on this trip. It included gravy and eggs made by one of the people in the office. I'm sorry I don't remember his name. The lady that checked us in was also very pleasant.

expensive sure stay that claims hot breakfast, which is a lie...only continental breakfast offered...we stayed here because pet friendly...only to find out $30 fee on top of over priced room...won't be back...

Great little money saver just off I-20 in Meridian. It's no frills, nothing extravagant, but comfortable and clean. Money has been spent on appearance which is unusual these days on budget motels. Counter staff were very friendly. Only downside: don't expect continental bfast to be anything but edible nourishment; for decent tasting food go elsewhere.

Recently stayed at this hotel. Very quiet location. Clean rooms, and grounds. Very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel is walking distance to several restaurants. Good location for shopping eating and easy to get on and off the interstate.

Very good hotel for a one night stay. The hotel has been renovated. Everything looked new. It was clean, quiet and affordable. All of the basics were covered. The bed slept well, staff is friendly, and the hotel is clean. The room was nice. The breakfast had the basics, food was good, and breakfast area was clean. The only thing I would make note of is that there is no elevator. You have to climb stairs if you are on the 2nd floor. If you have problems with stairs just request first floor. We had no problems here. The location is just off the interstate and restaurants are nearby. The price is good. We would stay here again if in the area.

The room was updated and very clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and had four pillows on each bed. The TV was large and clear. We just spent the night but would definitely return to stay here. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good but a little cold for eggs and sausage gravy. The only suggestions I could add would be to clean up the outside of the building a little. The inside was much cleaner than you would expect from looking at the outside.

The place was a nice inexpensive place to crash for the night. The breafeast was by far any good. there were eggs ice cold. beef on toast ice cold, Cooffee cool.. The waffels were the only thing hot. There was a microwave to warm thigs up.

This place was great clean great service. Also dog friendly, which I loved. A great place to stay. Was affordable and comfortable if your ever in this area I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you

Low quality, room smelled like vaping or smoking, argumentative manager. No idea why this subpar motel gets good reviews. Live roach in bath towel. Spider in sink. Does not live up the Best Western standards or name. Would not recommend. Avoid.

We just needed a place to stay overnight with our teenage kids. I thought the family suite would give us a little more space so I booked it. I should have looked at the description more carefully. It had a king bed and a full bed, so my kids weren't happy about sharing a full bed. A queen sized bed would fit in the room and would be a good idea. The AC wasn't on when we arrived, and it was HOT. It took about an hour to get comfortable. The room was clean and quiet. Mattresses were firm but not uncomfortable. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. This really stood out. The free breakfast had a variety of foods, including scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy and waffles. Very good. I would recommend this motel.

I had to come to Meridian due to the death of a family member but the staff made my stay brighter! They were helpful and the breakfast was neatly displayed. The air conditioner was perfect in my room and with the recent heat wave, that is no small matter.

We travel with our small dog. Not always easy to find a hotel that is pet friendly. This place met our need. Although it's dated it was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. WiFi was good. AC was cold. Breakfast could be better ( food was not hot). Check in was a breeze and clerk was very friendly. Easy to find. Will stay here again.

We were late getting into Meridian and found the SureStay relatively empty. Reviews were good so we tried it. We got a 1st floor room, which we wanted. Room was quiet, A/C worked, and beds were comfortable. We did not do the breakfast. No issues at all. We left Meridian the next day but ended up back there that night. We went back to the SureStay. For some reason we were unable to get a 1st floor room. The clerk insisted we had to take a 2nd floor room, The hotel was not crowded at all. We took it. Again, no issues with the room. However, because we could not get a 1st floor room I gave this hotel t only 4 stars. Can anyone explain why? Overall I would stay here again, but first asking more questions.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were outlets (but no USBs) behind each nightstand. The room entrance is from the outside and there is no elevator to the second floor. Ice, vending machine and washer/dryer are outside and not secure.

We have stayed at this location twice now. One year a part. Found the managers and staff to be kind, welcoming and helpful. Our pets are welcomed and we will for sure stay here again on our annual passing through.

The tub had pubic hair. The soap tray had soap residue. The sink and bathtub did not drain well. I was very disappointed because every Best Western I have stayed in has been wonderful. I will not stay in a SureStay again!

Basic budget motel a La 70s with outside entrances, but very clean with an excellent bed. However breakfast was in a very small room with two adjacent tables setting a total of eight. Lousy social distancing. Tables not cleaned between patina and breakfast very skimpy with much of the limited choices mostly gone

Stay here most passes through to other home. We've stayed here numerous times. The rooms always clean, breakfast consistent and better than most budget hotels. The problem this visit was the cigarette smoke getting into room somehow. It wasn't thick but for non smokers that we are it made resting a challenge. We called front desk night staffer who acknowledged but acted as if there was nothing that could be done…perhaps not. Upon departing let manager(?) know who also was no help. A discount or refund would help but more so, letting us know they know it's an issue and they will do some about it. In that connection, the hotel has a lot of blue collar guests who are courteous, well behaved and leave early. Many of them smoke outside their doors so perhaps the smoke comes in through the AC? FYI if you're sensitive to smoke

Great experience. Front desk super rooms large and comfortable breakfast great with sausage eggs biscuits and gravy. Convenient location . Very enjoyable would stay here again. Be sure to request a downstairs room. No elevators. We were lucky to get last downstairs room and were able to park right outside the door.

Stayed overnight on a long trip home. Not too far off the interstate. Super nice people. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great nights sleep. As a matter of fact, I almost overslept! Coffee was fresh and hot.

Very clean and very affordable. The staff was super nice and accommodating. The grounds were well kept. The breakfast lacked options but the coffee was good. Centrally located to dining and entertainment. Will definitely stay again.

For a budget style hotel this is a gem! Clean, modern renovation, no bugs, and very nice staff. Truck parking. Had biscuits and gravy for breakfast with eggs juice coffee and yogurt. This place is a Gem. Very friendly front desk folks. If ever need a room in the area again will 100% stay again.

The property is older but clean and comfortable. Stopped for 1 night and just wanted a clean comfortable room. I'd not heard of SureStay, but am a member of Best Western and trust the name. We decided to take a chance and was a good experience.

Room wasn't clean, a pair of socks found in room, that did not belong to us. Bed linen was stained. Staff was helpful & friendly. location was good. Breakfast was ehhh, you get what you pay for! Cheap hotel!

Booked and paid for 2 rooms - 1 king and 1 double - when we checked in they only had king rooms, and 1 kid had to sleep on an inflatable (that luckily we had packed). What a great way to start our family vacay!!!!

This was my favorite hotel on my week long road trip. Every single person was friendly (which didn't happen at my other 5 hotels). The manager was terrific and really took great care to make sure everything was perfect. The housecleaner was happy and upbeat and proud of her work, as she should be, the room was spotless. The lady in the breakfast area and I had a nice chat and listened to music together. Lovely garden areas. I felt like family.

Stopped on our way to New Orleans. Room was as described and pictured. Clean king bed with chair and ottoman. Fridge and microwave. Good shower pressure (always a plus for me). Breakfast was typical continental - waffle maker, cereals, juices, etc. Front desk was very friendly. You can tell he cares about the customers and hotel.

This is a 2 story motel with no elevators. It has outdoor corridors. We stayed in Room 104 which has a large, accessible walk in shower, refrigerator, microwave, large TV, and a comfortable King bed. There were 8 seats in the small breakfast area. The motel seemed clean and well mainaIned. We would stop there again.

We had no problems with this stay which automatically rates a 4 out of 5. Everything was as expected. We needed a clean place to stay overnight at a reasonable price. Check and check. The room was in good condition with microwave and fridge. The breakfast was a little weak in that there was no fruit, not even bananas. Otherwise, it was fine with cereal, oatmeal, waffles, juice and coffee.

We were impressed by the very friendly and professional staff who greeted us upon our arrival and as we departed. The room was very clean, the shower had plenty of hot water and the bed was super comfortable.

First off, the customer service is 5 star. Ms. Kanu was so helpful. She even helped me carry my breakfast back to my room in the morning just because she saw my need. I didn't ask! The room was clean and very sufficient. No complaints. This is defiantly a great place to stop for the night and I would stay many more times. It's a great price but the service is way above the price point!

The person behind the desk was friendly and provided a quick check in, even though we arrived late night. The rooms were clean upon inspection and all amenities were in working order. Overall is was a good and restful stay (minus trying to have a 5 year old sleep for an hour) and you get you pay for. Don't expect a Best Western Plus or a luxury hotel, but do expect a good place to stay if you just need to stop and sleep.

Place is in need of upgrades. Worst problem was our non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke. When we reported it to the front desk, they gave us another room. Only room available was one with a spa tub in it. Then the clerk told us that since we didn't pay for the spa in room, we should not use it. So the spa takes up a good 20% of the room and we end up with a room with a much smaller living space and a spa that we can't use. So it was cramped to say the least.

The facility is dated but clean and well maintained. The check-in staff was courteous and professional. The room was clean and comfortable with a good wifi signal. I slept like a log and had a good breakfast. Will definitely return.

Stayed here for one night on the way to North Carolina and one night on the way home. Our room was comfortable and clean. Bed was very comfortable, great water pressure in the shower. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of this property. Even the back of the bathroom door was clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and I liked that there were pillows of different firmness. Close to the interstate without interstate noise.

I am a Best Western Reward member and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Room 105, stay away. Terrible smell, it says no smoking but we could smell smoke, gross curtains, terrible bed, and so much more. Also, as a member, I was not offered anything when I checked. Pitiful, just pitiful.

Our room was clean and was a great rate for the one night when we were passing through on our way home. We will stay here again next year on our annual vacation road trip! A special Thank you to Dee the GM for being helpful with a booking mix up and making sure the rooms and grounds are clean!!

The SureStay in Meridian, MS, is a clean well furnished hotel. However, I found it a bit noisy, as the walls seem "thin." The TV channel selection was unique along with a good Remote. The AC seemed to struggle to keep the room cold. We like it cold at night for our Bulldog, Belle, who travels everywhere with my wife and me. Ice was nearby and the parking is good.

The staff at the hotel is great. Very friendly service from everyone. The room was disappointing. We were just stopping for the night on our trip, and looked for deals online. After reading other reviews, I decided to spend a extra to stay at the SureStay. It was cheaper than other places but about 35 more than other budget hotels like Quality Inn. I shouldn't have spent the extra. The room was run down and the carpet felt dirty. It turned the bottom of my feet black, so I wore shoes in the room all the time. The chair and ottoman were dirty. The desk and desk chair were in bad condition. The room overall was just depressing. Still, it served the purpose. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good. So, it's not the worst room I've stayed in, but it wasn't what I expected.

What an amazing host!! Dee Ravalji was awesome!! Friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and quiet and we felt completely safe! We had stayed at a Microtel on our way through and it was awful, we came upon the Surestay when we went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel and I went in and talked to Dee. We reserved a room for our way back through. The location is perfect for on and off interstate. Will definitely stay there again!!!

Finally ... out of the house and on the road!!! Spent the night here during our trip. Close to dining locations and is right next to the highway. Clean and well kept. Practiced social distancing and personnel were "masked up". Just before we checked out, the housekeeper found a charger cord that we had left and was able to get it to us. Thank You!!

Nice hotel set far back from the road and very quiet. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, AC worked well, great water pressure, plenty of towels and pillows provided. Free parking, complimentary breakfast

Old Rodeway Inn. Typical, run down, but adequate for the usual 75$ rate they charge. That, however was not what I paid. I was in a hurry when I got into town in the evening and went on Booking.com and simply hit the button. Big whoops and was charged 153$ or easily twice what the room charge should be, My fault, but be careful. I got to the room and went online to see their $75 normal rate.

I being staying at the hotel since Nov 2020, due to my Job working in Meridan,Ms, the morning Nikki the morning front Desk Rep is very nice she have your coffee hot and breakfast ready when you walk in the door, she we answer any question you have, she always have a smile and speaking, there no doubt about coming when having off time, the rooms are very nice and clean.. thanks

Stayed here on a business trip and really enjoyed my stay! Dee was super nice and check in was quick and friendly. My room was SPOTLESS, spacious and very comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Grab N' Go breakfast was adequate. Will be returning again for work weekly for next few months! Hospitality is in their DNA!

The hotel is alright for the price. However, the room was not clean. I had to wipe up a bit of water I spilled when I first got there, and the towel was black. The floor was filthy. I imagine the rest was, as well.

we found this hotel in the midst of the cold front. great room and attentive staff. we had a little trouble locking the door but otherwise the room as comfortable and war. happy to find this respite in the cold.

The hotel is a good night's stay. It's clean and in a good area. Watch price gouging if booked online. Call hotel directly for best pricing specifically military discounts. Watch your bill during the checkout to be sure it is correct. Overall, a decent experience.

The check in was quick and friendly. Our room was clean and updated. Bedding was comfortable and clean. Showers worked great. Coffee in lobby. Very clean. Restaurants and shopping close to hotel. Close to highway, but room was quiet.

During a record week for Covid infections in Mississippi, the front desk staff (two people) were not wearing masks. Although the room was nicely updated, the wifi did not work and a complaint to the front desk only got empty promises to fix it.

This is one of the newest of Best Western's new budget motels known as Sure Stay. I was traveling home with a new dog and needed a clean, quiet place to stay where the pet fee was not too expensive. I chose this location and am very pleased. Although the location is just a short distance from I-20, there is no noise. It was also a good location to walk a dog. The rooms are newly renovated and clean. It is not a brand new hotel, and there were a few things that could have been a bit cleaner, but nothing that was awful. The GM was training a new front desk employee when I arrived. Both were very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel if your needs are simple. If you normally stay at a Hyatt, you won't be happy here. If you want a clean, quiet, and comfortable room because you are traveling from point A to point B, this is a good choice.

Perfect place for an overnight pit stop. The staff were all really friendly, the rooms are modern and spotlessly clean, and they had the best rate in town. Located right off I-20 and I-59. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Needed a hotel in Meridian for a night and I noticed my normal hotel's price was higher than normal. I checked a few other of my favorite chains and the prices were too high for this town. After reading the reviews I selected the Rodeway Inn. I am very happy that I did. The place has been remodeled and was clean and comfortable. I met one of the owners and she was very nice. You could see why her place was in good shape after talking to her. She cared. The location was perfect for me. The price was right too. Comfort Inn you may have lost a customer. I'll stay here again next time.

For the price, a great deal: clean room, nice staff, well-kept grounds.Just one interstate exit away from downtown Meridian. I will probably stay here again in the near future. Restaurants nearby, and hotel is pleasant. Lots of TV channels, including multiple HBO channels.

We stayed here because of the reviews and price. The rooms are clean, quiet and updated. Our king-bed was firm, which is fine for us. There is no elevator if you need one. Breakfast has waffles and usual fare. Plenty of parking available. Pet friendly place.

Hotel was newly updated, staff was friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and quite spacious. Would stay here again. Had a nice variety for the free continental breakfast. First hotel i have stayed in that the non smoking room didnt smell like smoke.

Whenever working out of town in the Meridian, MS area, this is THE hotel to stay at. Friendly staff, clean rooms, truck parking and location make this a go to place for me when in the area. They also have a very nice breakfast!
