Sure Hotel by Best Western Hilden-Duesseldorf

Stayed here for 3 nights either a group of friends. I found the hotel warm, clean, nice public areas and very good staff. The hotel is well located for walking into Hilden, just a few minutes walk, where there were a good selection of shops and places to eat. Would recommend the hotel if you want to stay in the Hilden area.

We had a fantastic stay and were honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews, as they didn't reflect our experience at all. The rooms were a great size, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The shower was large and powerful, with lovely toiletries provided, and the beds were incredibly comfy. We also really appreciated the huge windows that could be opened to let in fresh air. The bar area was a real highlight — a great atmosphere and incredibly friendly, welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. There's also a shop right next door, which is perfect for picking up snacks or drinks, and the city centre is less than a five-minute walk away with plenty of shops and lovely restaurants. Overall, it was a brilliant trip with genuinely friendly staff throughout. I'd happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city, or even to those looking for more affordable accommodation just 20 minutes from Düsseldorf.

There's not much choice in the Hilden area but this hotel looks good from the outside, and the staff are very friendly, helpful and competant, however, the aircon, wifi and noise from the road are not satifactory

I had a very poor experience at this hotel, starting with a frustrating registration process and unprofessional service. The rooms did not have air conditioning, and when I raised this with the receptionist, I was simply told, “It will be very hot.” That response, combined with two extremely uncomfortable nights, was unacceptable. The level of service was far below expectations – the receptionist appeared inexperienced and unprepared to handle basic guest concerns. I had two upcoming bookings, both of which I've already cancelled. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. This hotel did not meet even the most basic standards of comfort or professionalism.

Absolutely terrible outdated hotel that alleges to have 4 stars while offering a standard of 2 stars at top. Extremely overpriced - paid 180€ per night for tiny room with no window and tiniest single bed ever I never seen in any hotel in my life. Old, outdated, smelly… just horrible place. I don't know of there is anything better in the area, but I would never stay here again and do not recommend this place. One of the worst stays I ever had in my life.

Slept good, pretty calm place even though my room faced the road outside. I went with train and it was just a short trip to the station. It's very nice located in small Hilden - if you want to get out of the big cities. City center is right around the corner.

Hotel was similar to any €50 per night budget hotel..(but I paid €200+ per night) I had a number of small complaints when I was there. Massive keyring with key for room access, to avoid holding on to this massive keyring when going out I would leave it with with reception. This would mean sometimes a 5min+ wait to get it back on entry as there was only ever one person on reception. But good news (not) one day they changed the lock on the door to key card. But each day it would stop working requiring me to go back down to reception to get a new one 3 days in a row. No hint of an apology. Room small and 20+ years old. See other review pictures. ( Thought I was staying at my Grandma's). Bath/shower leaked on the floor. Room came with coffee maker (2 sachets of coffee) and complimentary water. These would only get replenished once in the week I stayed. Even after leaving the "make up room" sign out the whole time I was there. Futher would not get coffee cups or glasses changed. Dirty cups in my room all week. Breakfast, was ok. But I noticed staff wiping crumbs onto chairs with the fresh napkins that would be set out for the next guests. (Day after day). Multiple Futher annoyance like the above. Old tired hotel with staff that put in little effort probably because of bad management. I regret staying here. I should have slept rough.

Stayed for 2 nights at this 4 star hotel in the middle of Hilden close to the shopping street and about 15 min walk from the station. The lobby, restaurant/breakfast room was recently renovated because of a serious flooding a couple of years ago. They did a good job, the interior in this part of the hotel has been updated with a very contemporary feel to it. We booked a standard room, however the heating was not working properly and we got upgraded immediately which was very much appreciated. The rooms, looked a little bit dated, but were to my delight utterly spotless. The bathrooms especially the shower trays and doors were immaculate, although some water was leaking onto the bathroom floor when using the shower. The housekeeping department is doing a good job for sure. I was pleased to see soap dispensers installed rather than having all those little customary bottles with soap and gel, saving on plastic. Good forward environmental thinking. Because the floor covering was carpet rather than tiles or laminate I would have liked some of those hotel slippers that are customary in most hotels these days. Also as a 4 star I would expect an iron and board in the room for convenience. The breakfast offerings are the usual fare and I was pleased to see milk alternatives available. The breakfast room was quite busy and you could do with an extra member of staff looking after the buffet to replenish it in time. All in all I very much enjoyed my stay here. I think that the room rate charged is very fair and honest but thought that the prize for the breakfast per person maybe at 17 Euros is a bit steep. However, I wholeheartedly can recommend this hotel.

We were here with our 3,5 month baby. (she slept with us, so no bby bed needed) We had a room at the back and was quite silent and cozy. I have to assure, that the shower doors are not sealing perfectly and leaking a small lake after shower. The double bed is actually two beds pulled together. It was bit uncomfortable because of the gap :/ The rooms' and bathroom's interior are a bit outdated style comparing to the star rating, but in general clean. Breakfast Buffet was nice considering, that it was in Corona time. BUT! Some business visitor, who got coffee served and personally table pre-cleaned by the staff was refusing to wear a mask and talking on the phone all over the food. Unfortunately the staff wasn't saying anything for this. In despite of the fact that it was written clearly, that you have to wear mask for picking food. In my opinion it is like this since a year all over the world. It is very concerning, that the staff doesn't care about some very serious fact like this, even if the business man seems to be a returning, well- paying guest.
