AC units out loud and obnoxious. The bathroom and shower was no clean. Pink mold growing. Breakfast was mediocre. Coffee was bitter. I would not recommend this hotel. Front desk people were looking at their phones and not engaging with customers.
This is the third time I stayed here in this hotel and as always I enjoyed my stay. Very nice , clean and well maintained property. Management team is doing great job by keeping up their property. Fast check in and checkout process by friendly front desk staff. Will definitely stay again.
We stayed on the third floor, the water pressure was terrible... my wife opted to not try to shampoo her hair for our two day stay. I'm bald and 6'2" and was frustrated! For the cost, it isn't anywhere near spectacular! The TV channels kept freezing up... Bathroom door wouldn't latch... We heard a dog yapping a few rooms down but that's on the pet owners leaving the dog alone constantly. At least the breakfast was better than just a muffin...
Very clean, modern amenities, good breakfast, conveniently located. I was very pleased with the room; comfortable furniture and lighting options, ports for charging phones, large sized mini fridge. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel was nice. The pool was small but a good temperature. The pillows were way too soft for me; I had to double them up. The breakfast was very good. They had both hot and cold selection. It's 10 minutes to Hershey Park. I was not a fan of the no room cleaning for 3 days. We were there 3 nights and although our towels were replaced, beds weren't made, nothing was wiped down, only one garbage was emptied. I know a lot of hotels are doing this since they can't hire enough people to properly service all the rooms, but I like the room to be cleaned daily.
Very clean, comfortable, breakfast is great! Family friendly. Kids loved the pool! Hazem was extremely accommodating and made sure my family and I weren't rushed at check out especially with my kids. Tiffany and Caitlyn were very helpful and clear about our stay. Caitlyn was patient with me and answered everything I needed to know! Highly recommend!
Hotel can be compared to a Hilton, very clean and everything works very well with zero issues. Breakfast bar has everything you possibly would want. Check in was great and easy as check out was also. Handicapped parking was clearly marked on the pavement. If directions were needed they were very knowledgeable about the area. Overall experience was excellent !!! Recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience what we did .
Likely the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. Free breakfast was non existent; place was dirty, other guests were allowed to drink and loudly party in the lobby past 1am. Our expectations were low to begin with, but this place was worse than we anticipated. Avoid it.
Three of us stayed for one night after a late concert. The hotel was a short drive to the venue. Check-in and check-out were simple and quick. Breakfast was included, and there was a nice assortment. I went on the later side of breakfast, so some things had run out, but that is expected.
Everything was new rooms have new furniture and nice beds. Staff as always available and breakfast was excellent.
My only issue was that the room was 80 degrees when walking in. It was clean throughout the entire hotel!
The best part was water spout at the ice machine to fill my reusable waterbottle !! It was also so close to Hershey park which was perfect!!
I could not see a single thing wrong with this hotel, everything was in excellent shape, especially the room. A great experience!
Hotel looks like new. Clean room and clean lobby. Friendly staff. Was a little pricey but had $50 reward coupon that made it worth the money.
We stayed here two nights while visiting Hersey Pa. Trip advisor reviews were good, so I chose this place. Great service at the front desk. Very nice selection for breakfast(different hot items daily), plus the basics : bagels, oatmeal, lots of sweets. I did have two issues with our room. The air conditioner didn't always work, and the coffee pot didn't either. When I complained, they moved us to another suitable room. This is what I would have expected from a hotel, and they did their job. I would stay again.
Stayed here when I was in town for a concert. Good clean hotel with a pool. Staff is very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is good and has a lot of options. Location is great for visiting Hershey park - only a few minutes away. Would definitely stay there again.
The bathroom was dirty. Floor was filthy and sticky. Cold showers. Breakfast was not fully stocked. Had to wait for food items - bacon, yogurt, pancake batter, juice, muffins, bagels, and cinnamon rolls. Staff showed no sense of real urgency to get the issue rectified. I told the front desk of our concerns upon checkout and was told that the manager would be contacting me. It's been 5 days, and I've heard nothing. Overall, not a great experience.
made a mistake when booking. Customer service staff in charge of answering phones would not accommodate at all and were very rude. The front desk and breakfast staff were very kind! Would not stay at a best western again!
We had a great experience at this hotel. Check in was easy. Room was very clean. Free breakfast was AMAZING! It wasn't just sugary cereal and donuts, there was a hot bar too - which was great! Overall our was a great value for what we paid!
This hotel was fairly new, and you could tell. Everything was clean and modern. Could use a few more usb ports in the room. The lobby and breakfast area was very comfortable, and the included breakfast was excellent. The guest room, and mattress, was also quite comfortable.
This hotel is exceptional. They are pet friendly and non smoking which are must have for us. The staff is outstanding. They treat you with respect and are extremely helpful. This was our second stay at this hotel and it definitely will not be our last if we need to stay in Hershey, PA.
Overall experience was disappointing. Beginning with check-in, the clerk was rude & off-putting. Beds were unkempt, toilet & shower dirty, multiple light bulbs out, no tissues, TV remote broken, no water pressure and terrible noise from other rooms. We had been driving for 8 hrs, it was 3 a.m. so I spent 30 mins cleaning and sanitizing room. We should have checked out, but decided to roll with it. Our bad for not finding another hotel. Our friends who owned two hotels in Hershey both 3 Diamond properties recommended BW+ based on reviews. It's unfortunate in this day and age that you can't always trust what you read anymore.
Clean room, comfy beds, and the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast was meh, but I find it's rare that a free breakfast is amazing. I didn't attempt the 24/7 access to coffee. I appreciated the proximity to Hershey. Our room was right across from the elevator and we didn't hear it when we were sleeping, so pretty good noise insulation. Still heard neighbor coughing and the other neighbors' kids roughhousing - not too bad.
We stayed the weekend with a family group to go to HersheyPark and other local attractions. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The pool was fantastic. 6 & 8 Year old enjoyed it.
The hotel is fairly new and in very good condition and very clean. The breakfast was well stocked and more than adequate for a quick bite before hitting the road. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly.
Hotels are a little pricey now, but don't we deserve it the few times we travel. Loved the updated amenities- great citrus toiletries in shower that we seniors can actually read! We had an issue with tub drain stopper, but employee came up & fixed & even cleaned tub…great hot breakfast, staff very friendly & helpful, excellent location, nice pool inside - don't forget your swimsuit! Recommend highly!
Very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Front desk gave us suggestions on restaurants and good bars. Our room was very clean, updated and the beds comfortable. Will definitely stay there again.
We chose this hotel because of its location to Hershey. Also close to the Hershey Tánger Outlets and many places near by to eat. We enjoyed the outside which had tables and chairs as well as fire pits.
Got there a little over two hours before check-in, and they charged me $25 for early checki-n. That was a first for me, and I travel over 100 days each year! Also, the tip jar thing. I can understand tipping the concierge for assistance, the person taking care of the breakfast eoom or the 8ndividual cleaning your room, but that front desk that is just doing what they have been hired to do (and charge you $25 for early check-in)? Nope!
Room was clean, breakfast options were plentiful. Had an indoor pool that was small but nice if not crowded. Check in was a breeze, clerk was pleasant. Restaurant options are close by. Overall a nice stay within 10 minutes of hersheypark
Hotel was very nice. The rooms were very clean and air condition worked great in them. Staff was more than helpful. They kept the towels stocked in room without having to ask. Pool was nice. Open pretty late which was good. Breakfast offered a nice variety to choose from. Will definitely stay again.
I stayed in the main Best Western building. Rooms were clean and all amenities were functionable. The staff was very kind and helpful - especially when I had to adjust my reservation through a third party (I ended up rebooking directly with the hotel as it was MUCH easier). Location is a short drive away from Hersheypark and walking distance to several places to eat any time of the day.
My daughter and I were in Hershey for a sporting event. We had a very enjoyed stay. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff was professional, helpful and kind. The breakfast, which was included was very nice. The offerings were plentiful and fresh. Highly recommended this Best Western
I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting the Hershey area. It was approximately a 7 minute drive to the park and close to all the area restaurants. The hotel was very clean, we had no issues whatsoever. There was a breakfast buffet included that was well stocked and fresh. I will definitely stay here again in the future!
The room seemed clean, but when I looked around more, it was super dusty, the floor was sticky, and the battery cover for the remote was broken. The broken remote was obvious. When I picked it up, it fell off, so this was not new damage or was not cleaned by staff. The shampoo was completely empty. When I went to get coffee, this was also empty. On a Sunday morning, when the hotel is close to or at capacity, there should be two pots. There is a coffee/latte machine that I used, but the coffee was not drinkable. I feel ripped off. I paid for breakfast and coffee, but both the breakfast and coffee were unacceptable. Unhappy.
Our room was dirty, shampoo dispensers in shower were empty, fridge had food in it from previous guest, floor was dirty beds looked i fresh pool was very dirty and not worth price. Wouldn't stay again
Sorry but I have to say it... this place was not worth that price that we paid for it. 2 nights cost us $493 before taxes. I originally booked at a different hotel that we have stayed at before but when we got there they didn't have my reservation and were unfortunately all booked up. Thanks Expedia. That left me and my family scrambling after a 5 hour drive and with some hungry bored kids. We found this Best Western after bough 10 phone calls to other places and had to pay more that $100 more than the other hotel and the quality was worse but there wasn't much more available in the Hershey area for those 2 nights (midweek too!). The hotel was ok, not great, but the price was still way to high. This hotel is probably only worth about $120-150/night. The breakfast was good, that's about it.
We stayed there during our visit to Hershey park. The hotel located in an excellent location with easy access to shopping centers and Hershey park. Everyone working at this hotel is friendly, professional & polite.
It was a busy weekend with multiple concerts happening and the 50th Anniversary of Hershey Chocolate World going on. School had also recently let out, so there were a lot of families there with tons of kids. We paid approximately double what the normal going rate is, so I am reviewing the hotel with that in mind. The woman at the desk for check-in was very nice and was working very hard to get everyone checked in quickly. There was complementary tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. The area needed cleaned, but we checked in the evening, so it was a nice perk after traveling. We stayed two nights. The room itself was spacious and modern. They have Direct TV, so there were plenty of channels to pick from . It was quiet, we didn't hear any noise from the room next to us. The only thing we heard was the person above us stomping around in the morning. I found the beds comfortable, but I can sleep almost anywhere comfortably. My husband has a bad back and he did not find the bed comfortable. The breakfast was hectic and took a while to get through the line, but my husband enjoyed it very much. They have a pancake machine that was entertaining for kids and adults alike. The breakfast attendant hustled hard to keep everything stocked despite how busy it was. This breakfast is not very vegan/plant-based friendly if that is important for anyone. The biggest negative for us was our room was not as clean as we would like. There was snot on the shower curtain and shower walls, which was immediately off putting. There was something all over the wall in the bathroom. Both cushions of the couch had large stains on them. There was something all over the desk lamp. Everything was sticky. The linens did appear clean, which was a major plus. Overall though, we felt pretty gross our entire stay there. The lobby bathrooms were very dirty as well. I used them late at night, but I suspect they did not get that dirty in one day. Overall, we will not stay there again. We really aren't picky people, but even we found it hard to look past the lack of cleanliness.
The rooms were super clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was much better than average. My partner and I are vegan, and we appreciated the almond milk for oatmeal, potatoes, and fresh fruit. We also appreciated the car charger, since we travel with an electric vehicle. The only negative was the air conditioning system. The fan stays on constantly and cannot be shut off. Apparently this is true throughout the hotel. It was a little noisy at night and somewhat irritating. It also seems wasteful of electricity to have the fans running constantly, even when rooms are unoccupied. But overall, a great place to stay and we would return if ever in the Hershey area.
We took a short getaway weekend with our daughter and grandson. We were very satisfied with our experience at this BW+. It's a little further away from the center of Hershey attractions and dining choices but not a deal breaker by any means.
We had a one night stay for our trip to Hershey Park. The location is convenient and safe. The staff is very friendly. Rooms are small but have everything you need and the decor is nice. The free breakfast is excellent, too. My complaint is with housekeeping and cleanliness. The pool could use a good scrub. The room itself had some cleanliness issues as well. There were stains on the toilet, not from us! The bathroom floor needed a good scrub, and when I went to use the lotion, it was apparent another guest used it, and it was not switched out! Also, the alarm went off at 6 am. from a previous guest and woke us up. They need to shut off the alarm between guests. Finally, the back kept falling off the remote. It seems like it was the back from another remote that didn't fit. Walls are thin, and we could hear other guests. Things calmed down after 11, but I could see this being a problem if you had noisy guests.
Very nice hotel. After a full day at Hershey Park/Hershey World, we arrived to find a clean room with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was great, typical of Best Western. My daughters liked the new pancake machine. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel and will definitely return.
Staff were extremely nice to my family. Very knowledgeable with the area for things to do. The pool area was clean, They had a very nice size gym. The breakfast that we had was very tasty. With a good assortment of delicous breakfast goodies. The pancakes were my son's favorite.
We stayed for one night in a double queen room. The beds and pillows were very comfy. We had a walk in shower in the bathroom which was very nice. The blackout curtain was very dark and helped us sleep. The young lady who checked us in was very helpful and nice. The main areas were clean as well as the room. We skipped breakfast to sleep in but I know Best Westerns and their breakfasts are always good. The pictures they have provided are a true representation of the property.
We just stayed the night while visiting Hershey park and this hotel did not disappoint. Modern, clean rooms and the breakfast was great - pancake and yogurt machines were a hit. It was close to all the places we were going to.
We had a great extended weekend in Hershey. No problems experienced at all. Friendly attentive staff. Nice amenities. The restaurant seemed slightly overwhelmed by all the club members at times, but this was not a huge issue. Hope to get back there.
The hotel was spotless, everybody was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good! We will stay next year for Hersheys RV show! We also had a wonderful meal at a restaurant we saw a review on trip advisor! The hotel was in a great location with plenty of ample parking. The hotel rooms were very soundproof also.
The hotel was kind and very accommodating after my son was injured playing college football and we had unexpected stay for him to return to the hospital for treatment the next day. We were given a roll away bed for my daughter and a handicap room for my son, at a low rate of $159.
The place had everything I needed. Room was clean and comfortable. The lobby is a nice place to hang out. I didn't have the breakfast, but it was included. I also didn't have to pay for parking. I would book this place again.
We stayed over as family of 5 while we visited Hershey Park. This hotel is all new, beautiful, and extremely clean. Tiffany was the hotel manager on duty when we arrived and she was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located and they offer a great complimentary breakfast as well. Coffee and tea is available 24 hours. The rooms have refrigerators and microwaves. My only complaint would be that the pool is on the smaller side, as well as, the pool towels. Overall was a very comfortable stay and I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for 1 night in March. The hotel is fairly new. You could even smell the newly laid carpet in the hallways. Our room was very nice and very clean. Breakfast was OK. Location was great, just minutes away from everything. The only potential down side for some people may be that it is pet friendly, though we saw no pets during our stay.
Our coffee machine did not work, but it was remedied quickly. The room was very clean and in good repair, the staff was helpful and friendly. This was my first stay at a Best Western but I would reccommend and stay again.
We selected this hotel for a soccer team block after seeing it was brand new. Everyone had wonderful things to say about the cleanliness of hotel and their rooms. Everything was in working order and we were all very happy with our stay.
Arrived early and was able to check in at 12:30. Had to pay $25.00 extra but it was fine. We stayed 3 nights. Breakfast was included in your stay and was good. The rooms were clean. Hotel is a year old so everything is new. Staff was friendly and helpful. You were greeted with a smile. They emptied your trash and refreshed your towels daily. You need to keep your room clean and make your own bed which again was fine. I still tipped house keeping daily. We didn't use the pool or gym. We were to tired from the park to even use it. I would definitely return to this hotel. You were 8-10 minutes away from Hershey Park. Which was perfect.
This was the second time we stayed here and both experiences were great! The rooms were clean, the a/c was quiet, and the staff exceptional. We were especially impressed with Jakeem and Adrian: Both young men were exceptionally customer oriented, friendly, and helpful. I fully recommend this hotel!
Great place to stay! Rooms were excellent, staff were all super sweet. Breakfast was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend and I will.be staying again. It was also in a great location. Close to everything!
I cannot say enough great things about this hotel! Every staff member always smiling and saying. "Hello" or "Good Morning." Jessica at the front desk was also great throughout our stay. SUPER clean, modern hotel and great breakfast selection. Rooms were all new, very clean, spacious and perfect for our family of 4 stay. Price was on point for what we wanted to spend and Hersey was only 10 minutes away. This will certainly be our go to for our next visit to Hershey.
A little expensive, $800 for 2 days, but it offered the most and was updated, amongst the hotels in that area. Hot breakfast was available as advertised and the rooms were upgraded, so I paid a bit more for peace of mind during our stay, as I did not want an old room or underwhelming breakfast.
My husband and I are coming to Hershey, Pennsylvania and decided to choose this hotel because of the reviews. Location is good. Hotel is very near to Hershey park which is great. When we went to our room, there were hairs in the bathroom floor and sink and they gave us an accessible room but didn't complain. Walls are paper thin that we can hear everything-Footsteps from the people above us, children running and its a pet friendly hotel too so we heard dogs barking too. The next day, the alarm went off from the empty room next to us and woke us up at 6 in the morning. Tried calling Front desk but no one answered. Husband went downstairs too but no one was there. After 10mins, it stopped. So it would be nice if housekeepers will turn off the alarm after the previous guests left the room. Housekeepers didn't take the trash out and didn't leave a door sign too. We left early and not coming back to this hotel.
This is a great hotel option when you travel to Hershey. It's about 3 miles from the Park. The Hotel is new and very clean. Rooms were fairly modern and beds were very comfortable. Rooms have little fridge and microwave. They serve a full breakfast in the AM and there is a small snack option for purchase. Kids loved the indoor pool and there is an outdoor patio adjacent to it. The staff was friendly and professional. Adrian and Jessica were wonderful- Best Western Corp, please commend them for the great job they are doing at his location!
The employees were very professional and attentive. Check in and check out we're very smooth. Hotel is very clean inside and outside. Not a bad drive from Hersheypark. Pool was nice and clean. Plenty of towels and chairs at pool area. Breakfast was good.
Fantastic, practically brand new hotel. That was my main reason for booking it the day of my travel after canceling another hotel. Everything was clean, fresh and new. Breakfast in the morning was good. My kids used the treadmills in the morning but we didn't get to use the pool. If we go back to Hershey I'm definitely booking here again
Pretty good stay! Hotel new, clean and the shower was hot! Beds were clean and comfy. Big breakfast but we opted to skip it. Walls tissue paper thin but thankfully the crying children ceased by 9 pm. We were planning to have the kids swim in the evening but we were notified at check in that the pool was down for maintenance. We were offered a sister hotel to swim at but that seemed like an inconvenience. A shame because the pool was one of the deciding factors when choosing our hotel. If we were ever to return, we would stay again.
I have a four year old son so I wanted somewhere quiet, soundproof, and still beautiful. It's right on a main road, so finding fast food and the grocery store was easy. We were only 10 minutes from Hershey World and Hershey Park. Our room was clean, the oversized fridge was awesome (not a full size, but bigger than traditional hotel fridges), and I loved that it wasn't very crowded. This hotel fit the bill! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone - with or without kids.
New, clean and modern hotel. Rooms with hard floor (no carpet), shower (no bath tub) with dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and soap. Great indoor heated pool. Great breakfast with a pancake machine (kids loved). Great location, 10min from Hershey Park.
The hotel front desk clerk greeted me with a smile and helpful information. She was one of the most pleasant and efficient customer service people I have ever had. The hotel is very clean and everything appears to be new or newly refurbished. The bed was very comfortable as well.
Picked this place as it was a newer property and had a pool. Unfortunately, because the pool was small, and they had a bunch of young boys staying at the hotel that were rough housing, we were not able to take the grandkids to the pool which was quite disappointing. Most of the room was clean, some dusty areas, but comfortable room and bedding. Breakfast was decent. Wished it was a little better price point but would recommend and return if in the area.
Our stay was awesome. The staff was remarkable. We had an early check-in and they made sure the room was ready on time. We traveled with our 3 Pomeranians and the room was spotless. The room was nice and big and the bed was very comfortable. The whole hotel overall was exceptionally clean. The had an area designated outside to take our dogs to go to the bathroom and even had bags and a desiganted trash can to put the waste. The breakfast was amazing. They had a large selection to choose from and everything tasted great. This hotel is great and we would recommend it to anyone. If we need to stay in the Hershey area again we will be staying at the Best Wester Plus Hershey.
The location is the best getting out of the park or concert, because everyone else is going toward Harrisburg, and you sneak right back into the Best Western. The Elton John concert ended at 10:30 PM we were back in the hotel by 10:50 PM.
Very nice property. Staff was very helpful and professional. Room was very clean. Beds are plush beds or I would have gave the night sleep a higher number. I prefer my beds a little firmer. Pool was a good size. Exercise room was one of the best in a hotel this size that I stayed at. Beautiful hallways and rooms. Very clean property.
Needed a last minute stay in Hershey and this hotel was the perfect fit. Good value for a new property. Room was clean and provided everything I needed for an overnight stay. Would stay again if in the area.
We found this new hotel to be lovely. It was clean, comfortable and we experienced none of the issues some of the other reviewers mentioned. Jessica was especially wonderful. We were returning home from Shriners hospital after our daughters surgery and needed adjoining rooms since she is 13 and needed privacy and she was able to accommodate us with a phone call and held two rooms for us. I highly recommend!!
Stopped at this hotel during our Texas to Rhode Island trip. Found it very clean and the staff was very friendly. Good choice if you want to visit Hershey Park as it is close enough but not within walking distance. Lots of food options in the area and this hotel is pet friendly. Beds were comfy and the price was well worth it. Would recommend staying here.
I hate to write this review bc I wanted to love this hotel. True rating is 3.5 stars. There are several wonderful attributes, but they are also really missing the mark on a couple things, and for that I probably would not return. The good: Newly constructed, modern decor, nice rooms, bathrooms, pool, fitness center, and common areas. The included breakfast was pretty good. The in room fridge is larger than the usual size. The Keurig and k cups in the room were nice. Everything was clean and smelled fresh. Lots of outlets and USB ports. The bad: The heating unit was not regulating the temperature correctly and resulted in the room either being way too hot or too cold. The shower water took a while to heat up, and just about the time you lather up, it switches to freezing cold. While we did not hear any noise from adjacent rooms or the hallway, we could hear every single step taken by the occupants of the room above us. There was clearly a short cut taken and no soundproofing or acoustimat used in the flooring system. Also, housekeeping should disable the alarm clock when previous guests vacate. The alarm went off at 6am and I could not figure how to get it off right away. Above all this, probably the biggest issue I had was that they charge $25 for early check in. We spend almost every weekend in hotels and neither Marriott, Hilton, or IHG properties do this. Those brands also accommodate complimentary late checkouts. Check in is not until 4pm which is the latest I've ever heard of. They will not give you your room, even if it is ready, until check in time. I asked them if they would inconvenience a guest by making them sit in the lobby waiting for hours before giving them keys while the room just sat vacant? This is such a bad policy. They finally did acquiesce and let me check in at 1pm without paying the fee. I did not even dare ask for a late checkout after reading the reviews and based on my check in experience. In summary, this is a really nice and new hotel with a perfectly acceptable free breakfast but poor heating/ac, lack of hot water in the shower, and inconvenient policies regarding check in. When we are on the road, which we frequently are, staying at a hotel that is accommodating is so important. For that reason, I plan to stick with Marriott, Hilton, or IHG on our future travels. Even if the water and heating issues were resolved, and even though this is a really nice hotel, I'd still choose one of the many other options that offer more flexibility with check in/out. We were traveling with a group and our experience was consistent with everyone else's. We probably had 15 rooms booked here. No one got a hot shower or had a consistently comfortable temperature in their room.
Our stay at Best Western Plus Hershey was a positive from the start. We were greeted by Jessica at check in with a pleasant helpful attitude. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Our daughter and son in law were given the room right next to ours. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the Hershey area!!
The hotel looked great!!!! It may have been remodel because everything looked brand new. The breakfast in the morning was delicious too! We loved our experience and would stay there again in the future.
This is a fantastic option for the Hershey area. Building seems brand-new, amenities are terrific for this price level. Not the greatest location as far as immediate attractions, but a quick drive to most places. We will definitely be back.
Spent New Year's Eve with the family. Hotel was nice and clean and dog friendly. Beds were comfortable. Pool a little small but worked for the kids. Breakfast included and coffee station all day a nice perk..
We stayed here for one night on 12/31. Booked this hotel because of its great reviews and because it was a newer property. Room: Beautiful. New, smelled great, just what we were expecting. Loved the view of the shady red roof in and parking lot. At least I could see my car. We were back from dinner at a local restaurant around 7:30 and were going to rest before we went out to enjoy some New Years Eve festivities. We suddenly hear dogs Barking from down the hall. I figured, ok, dogs are staying here and maybe their owners put them in a strange room and then left so they were barking. We shower, get ready to leave and they are still barking. Non stop barking. We were downtown and saw the festivities with food trucks and the "kiss drop" etc. and decided, it wasn't that great of nightlife so let's just go back to the room and watch a movie instead. The teenagers were bored. We arrive back at the hotel and the dogs are still barking, 10:30 pm. Not just barking, crying, whimpering, howling, barking, non stop. I opened my room door to see if anyone was around. Seems it was about 2 rooms away. We could hear it clearly through our closed door. Barking was continuing until I finally fell asleep at 1:30 am. Who knows when it actually stopped. The walls are paper thin. Thermostat: The room was HOT. No matter what you had it set at, it wouldn't stop pumping heat into the room. Woke up at 3 am sweating, my husband standing by the thermostat for the 4th time, now trying to turn the air on. Heat was set to 67, room was 78!! Tried to turn the heat OFF first, get back in bed, it clicks back on again! I wish we could have opened a window. All 4 of us sweating. Glad to wake up sweating at 3 am because now I can hear the dogs again! Breakfast: I didn't even go down but my husband did and said they had two items: eggs and sausage. No toast, not a bagel, the waffle machine was "broken", no fruit, nothing else. Two items. Last but not least, check out is 11 am. You better have your butt in that lobby AT 11 am or you are getting a phone call! 11:04 as we are walking out of the door, phone ringing asking if we are extending our stay. My husband says no and we are gathering our stuff and walking out of the door now. My teenage son is taking one more sweep of the room, under beds, bathroom, etc and phone rings AGAIN not even 5 minutes later. We take the elevator down and expect LOADS of people checking in by the urgency of 2 calls in under 10 minutes but not a person in sight. Not a CAR in the parking lot! We visit Hershey a few times a year and to be honest, there are MANY other places that we will be spending our money in the future. I will not be recommending this hotel to any family members or friends.
This hotel just opened in July and is very clean and modern. The rooms are spacious and the king size bed was comfortable. A hot breakfast is a nice touch. The body lotion in the room reminds me of lemons. The staff is very personable and friendly.
Our room was ready for a 2PM check which i did not request but the front desk attendant said she would be able to accomodate the request. We were going to a concert at Elizabethtown college and would meet our family and have dinner afterward. Which meant an 8PM check-in which we did not want to do. Our room was on the 4th floor and was clean, nicely furnished with easy access to the elevator and lobby for a great breakfast in the morning. Arriving and departing was an easy access to rt 743 which for our return trip home. This was our second stay at a Best Western Plus in the same week. As a rewards member The Best Western is the best choice for "one night stays".
Clean, new space; very polite, thoughtful and accommodating staff; spacious and nicely designed rooms; good breakfast — everything you need for a comfortable stay. And you can bring your pet too! I loved it and certainly would consider to use them again when I am in the area.
The staff here went the extra mile (consistently) to ensure that our hockey team had everything they needed, including helping us out with a nice breakout room for a team dinner and ensuring we had items available for an early morning grab-and-go breakfast before an early game. This is a new, fresh, and clean facility near downtown Hershey and Klick Lewis Arena, making this property a "hat trick" for future stays in the area!
Could not ask for anything more. Pool, breakfast, exercise, convenient to attractions, market, no hassle parking, etc. I felt more comfortable in this hotel than any for along time. We could bring the dog. It was a nice trip beacuse of Best Western.
Excellent experience! The hotel is new but things were running smoothly when we visited. The rooms are efficient and we appreciated the fridge (a larger than mini size) and microwave in the room. Check in and out was smooth and we appreciated the customer service from Kinjal! We enjoyed being able to bring our dogs (we have successfully used the Barking Lot at Hersheypark twice now). Rooms were clean. Breakfast was fairly standard for this hotel class but they did have gluten free options! This is a great option near Hersheypark—higher quality than many at this class near the park. We will stay again next time we're in town!
Great team. Great new immaculate modern property. Very accommodating staff. Great location, sumptous breakfast. Would definitely stay there again. Near Hershey town ctr and Hershey Park. Off of Chocolate Avenue
This hotel is brand new so of course its clean and really pretty. The hotel room itself was very clean and loved the decor. the front desk was very nice and pleasant as well as the director of cleaning who happened to be there when we checked in. everything was great except the breakfast. Nothing left to eat at 8:30 AM. In all fairness there was a group of kids soccer or softball teams there so it was packed with parents and kids. Overall a very nice hotel and would definitely return.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Hershey. Everything is new, so what's not to like! Spotlessly clean room, nice decor. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Extremely nice bathroom and shower. Towels were displayed beautifully. Water pressure in the shower was a little low, but manageable. Odd set up with an older hotel across the parking lot, and signage was odd, as we almost passed by as the older hotel's sign was much larger and prominent, but that has nothing to do with the quality and niceness of the hotel itself. Very nice staff, very friendly and accommodating front desk staff,, as well as employees we met in passing. Very nice lobby, and above average hotel breakfast with pancake maker. All in all, a wonderful stay, we will surely be back!!
Everything was beautifully maintained and staff could not do enough to help. Breakfast was fresh and well stocked. What a great trip! Will use this hotel again in the future. Lobby was welcoming and a place for a large group to gather and spend quality time.
I have no complaints of our stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything is new at this hotel since it's been open for a few months which is a bonus. The rooms were very clean and totally disinfected and there was toiletries and a hair dryer as well as a steamer in the room with a refrigerator and keurig. The complimentary breakfast was also very good and fresh. I highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed here for 3 days while visiting the area. The hotel is very new with nice decor. I was surprised that the mattresses were not a little more plush for a new hotel. The breakfast was adequate with eggs, sausage, and pancake maker. I would stay here again.
Very nice, new hotel near Hershey Park. Far enough away to be away from any traffic and crowds from the park, but very convenient. Breakfast was better than average for a free hotel breakfast. Staff was friendly.
Our family recently stayed at this lovely new property for a quick 2 night getaway. All the adult siblings and our parents came in from various states. The first night our mom was rushed to the ER and it wound up being a 10 day stay with multiple surgeries. We never knew when we'd be able to check out and the hotel was so caring and accommodating for us, even when they had a sold out weekend coming up. They were so concerned for our mom's well-being and showed us so much care during a very difficult time. Outside of that, the hotel was beautiful and clean in an area with not too many excellent options. The breakfast was generous for the very reasonable rate and the round-the-clock available coffee and tea was a great help to us, running on no sleep. In short, without the family emergency, we'd highly recommend - in a time of chaos, we couldn't imagine having stayed anywhere else.
Pleasant stay - clean, clean, clean which is very important to me. Staff very pleasant, location great. Overall very pleased, even the breakfast in the morning was great. Close to everything the area has to offer.
Brand new & beautiful hotel in Hershey,PA. Very professional management, front desk , housekeeping & breakfast staff .Good experience and Value worth for recommending to friends and family while visiting Hershey, PA.
This is a newer hotel and everything was wonderful including the staff. Breakfast was included and they had plenty of options. The parking lot was a tiny bit small if I had to find anything to nitpick at all.
This was the second month I believe that they were opened brand new hotel nicely designed the rooms were nice the beds were so comfortable The pillows were a little bit hard for me The breakfasts were excellent I was surprised that the quality of the food very very good, The staff were very catering anything you needed they accommodated you with. I recommend this place to everybody.
