We have stayed at Hotel Bad Brambach several times as wellness guests and had always been satisfied, which made our most recent visit all the more disappointing. At check-in, I politely asked whether there was any possibility of bringing my almost 90-year-old mother into the spa for an additional fee, as this had apparently been possible in previous years. The response at reception was not only inconsistent, but above all exceptionally unfriendly. What shocked me most was the comment: “Then you are not the right fit for our hotel.” Such a tone toward long-standing guests is completely unacceptable in my view. The fact that another staff member explained the very next day that this service was in fact generally possible made the whole situation even more confusing and frustrating. The lack of service was one issue, but the disrespectful behavior at reception was the real problem. It is a great pity, because an experience like this overshadows the entire stay.

Excellence throughout. Highly enjoyable and recommended! One of the best hotels in Germany! Planning to return soon.

You can't use the Thermen Baeder unbtil 1530 with a room key. No one told us that you have to make dinner reservations before 1600, we tried at 1630 and it was too late. The staff did not try to help us in any way. It ruined my husband's birthday completely.

I did not find better place for the stay around Bamberg. The connection to Bamberg is fast and it is worth it, staying in Bad Staffelstein, and enjoying hotel surroundings and amenities. Perfect in every aspect, definitely come back again.

Nice and clean hotel with friendly service. Close to city center where you can find small shops. Breakfast was also fine. Only downside was the crowd of people in the morning and the long que in front of egg buffett. maybe they need to extend the size of this buffett.

Sehr gut Hotel und gut essen. Spacious rooms, good cleaning and excellent food. Nice spa area at the hotel and easy access to the Therme. A number of beers to try at the bar. The staff is professional and friendly.

Nice hotel with good staff and room. Swimming pool especially good, but the thermal baths across the walkway are excellent and worth visit. Very good breakfast. Good free wifi and free parking. Quite a lot of business people staying. 5 minutes to the autobahn for easy access.

Stayed here for the 6th time and once again, brilliant. Good service and friendly staff. Good food and plenty of choice. Yeah it's a bit more expensive but totally worth it in my eyes. I will be back there very soon and a lot in 2018.

Business trip led me into the Kurhotel and it was a pleasure to stay there. Relaxation and SPA is great and the food menu in the restaurant exciting and delicious. Even the bar offers food which are perfectly fine before enjoying the SPA. Personally I can recommend the sauna area (additionally priced!) to fully recharge and get ready to work. A lot of older people are present, the charm of the hotel is more like whisky and piano, don't expect party people and action.

Hotel Is situated in Bavaria which a breath taking area off Germany. The hotel rooms were very clean as was the rest off the hotel. Breakfast catered for all. Cooked or European . Plenty of healthy options. Very well equipped gymnasium. The pool was closed but you can use the pool next door to the hotel at obermaine therm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meals were very nice. Only one thing. I recieved a 100 euro fine for smoking on the balcony. Wasn't very happy about that. Should be better signs for not smoking outside. Apart from that a really pleasant stay

I stayed here because the hotel I usually stay at was booked up, but I liked this one better anyway! Only stayed one night as this was a stop for me on a longer drive. Resort feel to it, I didn't get to use the amenities, but there seemed to be a few! Would stay here again!

Nice hotel with good staff and rooms. Swimming pool especially good. Very good breakfast, but evening meal menu and food not up to the rest of the hotel. Steaks were a bit chewy and not a great choice. Good free wifi and free parking. Quite a lot of business people staying.

I am staying more than 100 nights a year in hotels around the globe. As soon as I knew I will visit Erlangen I decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Bad Staffelstein again even when it is approx. 45 minutes north of Erlangen. Even as a very picky visitor this is probably one of the best hotels I know of. What I like - Large, clean rooms with a VERY convenient large bed. This hotel provides arguably the best hotel beds I have found in Germany. High quality material, good in size and the head rest adjustable. - Nice sitting area, both inside the room and on the balcony - Good sound proofing however in the rooms at the end of the floor (e.g. 119) the train can be heard which passes about 500m behind the hotel. - Large bath room with a good size shower and good water pressure - Large flat screen TV with good selection of national and international channels. - Very friendly staff that makes everybody feel welcomed at any time during the stay - Large covered parking for a reasonable fee with automatic doors and elevators leading to the hotel. So even accessible for elderly people and people with luggage - One of the best breakfasts I know of... good selection and high quality - Minibar in the room - Free WiFi and fast - Online check-in possible so all information (e.g. company address) is already in the system at arrival time - Large wellness area with pool and sauna and extra services such as massages. There are only two things that pop in my eyes every time I am here a.) The management clutters the room with signs, welcome papers, rules, announcements to a point where the cozyness is affected. I once counted more than 50 of these signs. Who in the hell will read all of these? I keep on moving them in one place so I have space for other things. b.) Fire security of the hotel is constantly compromised by the staff members. There are fire doors with large signs ("this door has to be closed") throughout the hotel and the staff keeps on blocking them open. I know these doors can be annoying but security is second to none. If you are in the region I highly recommend that you stay here.

Arrived for business trip. Very nice room. However, the wifi was non-existant. The manager tried to tell me there was no issue with their system and I must have problem with my computer. when I asked them to provide their IT person to "explain" what the issue was, he set an appointment. The person never showed. No one followed up. Amazingly on the last day, I suddenly had usable speed. I felt the manager's attitude was one of if yu don't like it you can leave.

I really like staying here. I've spent about 15 nights here this year. It's expensive, but everything is so well-organized with each detail and amenity thought out, that it makes it a perfect respite from a busy week. Breakfast, free parking, and strong wifi are great. The therme is wonderful, and the staff is very kind. I'll be back!

The hotel is situated adjacent to Obermaintherme, a very nice spa in Bad Staffelstein. By checking in at the hotel, the guests have three hours free access to the therme. Also the hotel itself has a pool, so for people who love to have access to pools and also a great variation of pools, this hotel is a very good choice. The hotel has also a restaurant with well tasting food, though a little bit expensive. The breakfast was good and all staff very friendly in the restaurant as well as in the other parts of the hotel. The room was very nice but with a small safety box for the wallet or passport, so computers and tablets are to be hidden in the room. Internet: Very difficult to connect to the hotel's Internet system. After 30 minutes I contacted the reception and told them that I have done exactly as the instructions in the room but I could not connect to the Internet. Then they told me that the instructions are wrong and showed me how to do!! Well connected, I found the Internet extremely slow. Only 0,5 Mbit up and 0,5 Mbit down. The hotel is a "must" for pool lovers! But if you need a fast Internet due to your work situation, it's difficult to recommend a stay in this hotel.

Hidden gem located next to the famous Thermal Baths and in a lovely location. Staff were friendly, rooms were large, well appointed and there were a lot of small touches in room ( bath robes for kids and adults, pool bag, hanging rack on the balcony etc) that make the difference in terms of Customer service. Parking was undercover and free and access to hotel well signed. We had breakfast next morning in hotel and it was excellent. Go past the Thermal Baths to an amazing park gardens that has a natural outdoor inhalatorium and some amazing sculptures - an absolute surprise find.

I can say one from the Best of best hotel when I have already stayed! (250 hotels nights per year). Great wellness, breakfast, staff, interier, big room.... Fully recommended for business, family, recreation...

best choice in this region; excellent place near main station; free parking in the garage; excellent people which make a very good job and do everything for a wonderful stay; very good breakfast; we can also recommend the bar in the hotel which serves a good choice of food; nice spa-area with mid-size swimming-pool; also has a fitness center;

This is a very nice modern and friendly hotel. Besides for being right alongside a Thermal Spa that I did not visit, it is in a beautiful location, well tended gardens, friendly staff, with all that I would expect from a good hotel I found it to be a perfect hidden gem. I do not know how easy it is to get to here, I think it is about 1.5 hours drive from Nuremberg, but I believe that there is public transport and it is well worth the effort.

This hotel is situated on the outskirts of the small town of Bad Staffelstein but right next to the Obermain Therme which must be a plus for those who wish to indulge in this activity. The hotel itself has its own indoor swimming pool with loungers on which to relax. There is also an adjacent quiet area with comfortable seating.There are also saunas and a spa/massage treatment centre. Rooms are very spacious and all have a balcony with chairs and a small table. There's even a rail on which to hang wet swim suits etc. The bathroom too is large with walk-in shower and heated towel rails. Our double bed was comfortable. Housekeeping is done promptly and very well. We were part of a conference and had all our meals in the hotel. The breakfast buffet is outstanding in choice and quality. I particularly appreciated the wide range of bread available.Lunch and dinner were also buffet style with many choices but I saw that there was an a la carte available to guests. I would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel

Great hotel with a lot of tiny details to make your stay memorable. The breakfast buffett is great and it is nice to relax in the spa after a busy day. It was really worth the 20 minute drive to/from my customer. For sure I'll come again!

I stayed overnight for a nearby meeting. I arrived at around 22.00 and the staff gave me a warm welcome and check-in was quick and efficient. The room itself was huge, plenty of desk space for the laptop and papers. Wi-Fi Internet access had a reasonable speed. The only thing that irritated me was the piped music being played out over the speakers in the lobby. The flute type music was seriously annoying me. I noticed the clientèle were mainly senior citizens and perhaps they find this sort of thing soothing. I'd rather have silence.

Stayed here on a business trip on the weekend. Chose this location as it was next to the Obermain Therme. Did not know what to expect, but Best Western premiers are usually quited good in Germany. Free parking in front of or under the hotel. Friendly, welcoming staff. Spotless common areas. Old fashioned key fobs with transponders instead of keys to be returned at the desk as you come and go from the hotel. I don't recall choosing a particular room type, but my room was large and clean with a queen bed, couch and chairs, desk, Television, minibar fridge. Small balcony for every room, it appeared. Bathtub/shower combination. My only disappointment was that it was quite hot and the rooms are unairconditioned. I might think twice about booking this hotel in the summer again. I left the door to the balcony open, but it didnt' do a lot of good. Another letdown was no water kettle in the room. I needed an iron and board and my safe was locked upon arrival. Someone came up right away to open the safe and another to deliver an iron. The women on the housecleaning staff were efficient and friendly. Checked out the hotel's sauna and pool, but did not use them....looked great. Breakfast was excellent and varied. All in all a good stay...if a bit sweaty. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there any time but the summer. Do take advantage of the OBermain Therme....if you just use the pool section it'll be fun. The sauna (textile free) area is excellent.

This is a modern, well designed hotel with friendly staff and good rooms. Some weird mannequins make it a little other worldly and entertain. Bedroom large, this goes for the whole place. Breakfast excellent. I suspect if I had stayed longer and used more of the facilities I could easily see 5 stars.
