Firstly, if you are arriving by plane, the number 6 bus goes directly from the airport and stops right outside the hotel (Park Merl). Public transport is free. Easy peasy. Nice entrance hall and very nice restaurant to have breakfast in (of which more later). Bedroom was nice, not that big. King sized bed. Mattress was hard. There is firm and there is hard – this was hard. I woke with backache every morning. The lighting was a bit strange as the bedside light only worked when the two ceiling lights in the entrance worked. We tried every combination and eventually gave up. Nice bathroom, strong shower. Towels changed every day. Nowhere to hang them but that's the same in most hotels so it was over the doors and over the chairs as usual. Hook on wall for shower cap which is good and hairdryer. Lots of mirrors in the bathroom – none in the bedroom. Chambermaids slightly over zealous. Note to self – don't leave clean unused cotton wool pads by sink. Gone! Had to buy some more. 2 flannels provided of which I used one but that was taken away the next day and not replaced leaving just one. I hid this one in the shower to ensure it wasn't taken away too. Separate area for packing and to keep suitcases which was very handy. Plus mini fridge, tea/coffee and safe. Also had balcony overlooking the park which was nice. Breakfast was a whopping 20 Euros per person per day. This is the most I've ever come across as an “add on”. We were expecting big things. Well, it was fine, had everything we needed but certainly nothing more than that. No option for cooked breakfast which my husband likes. Just help yourself – fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, jams, cheese, eggs etc. All fine and we were happy with it, but not worth 20 euros. Why don't they just give a fixed price with breakfast included? However, I do recommend the evening restaurant – Le Bistrot. The food was absolutely superb. Overall, a nice hotel, friendly helpful staff and we enjoyed our stay.
