Terrible hotel, terrible service, and not dog-friendly. We stayed here for several nights, and the room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke. We informed the hotel that the room did not smell fresh, but they did nothing about it. We had dogs with us, and according to Booking.com, additional charges might apply. However, I find €35 per dog per night outrageously expensive. We were also charged €25 for parking, only to find that there were no parking spaces available. Absolutely disgraceful.

I had a very good stay in this hotel. The room was spacious and cozy. The bed was big and very comfortable. The staff was friendly too and the breakfast good. The only thing I didn't like was the traffic noise from outside. My room was facing the side of the main road and you could hear the cars through the windows quite loudly. Also the the doors on the hallway don't close quietly so you could hear the slamming of the doors frequently. I asked for a quiet room in advance but maybe it was not possible.

The room was ok and we had no problems checking in and staying for the night. However, at check out I was told that my outstanding amount was €55, the receptionist said that he will take €50 from the deposit and then charged additional €5 to the card I used the day before. That was correct and the charge was taken instantly. After a moment I noticed that additional €43 was taken from my card. I went back to ask what the charge was for and I was told that they do not recognise that payment and don't know why it was taken. I got no help or explanation of what happened. From my side it clearly looked like a fraud so I cancelled the payment. I do not recommend staying at this hotel and will definitely not be returning

Worst stay immagianable. Airconditioning was a portable aircon that made more noise than a diesel truck and produced no cold air. We were accompanied by Mr. Cockroach in the room to make us feel welcome... Parking was a hefty €25 which didn't include a parking space as every spot was taken. 0/10, would not recommend.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I think future guests should be aware of this. Our stay was fully paid in advance. At check-in, we were asked to leave a €50 security deposit per room, and the receptionist explicitly told us that the money would be released the next day, after check-out. That did not happen. After leaving the hotel, the funds were still on hold. When we called the reception, we were then told that it can take up to three days for the deposit to be released. In other words, we were given completely different information from what we were told at check-in. I have no problem with a hotel requiring a security deposit. My problem is with the lack of honesty and transparency. If the actual release time is up to three days, simply tell guests that from the beginning and let them know what to expect. Don't promise that the money will be released the next day and then change the explanation afterward. Unfortunately, details like this make the difference between a hotel that respects its guests and one that does not communicate honestly.

Hotel was calm except for the noise of the air conditioning - had to be switched off at night as it was too noisy … when it was needed! Hotel parking was expensive (25€/day) but useful.

Rude staff, cramped room, and in the morning, the surprise of a clogged toilet – I had to leave my room to use public restrooms. It was awful. I spoke to the manager about it, and she didn't apologize for the situation; she simply said she would send a technician. This technician turned out to be the cleaning lady who entered my room without permission, and my husband was undressed. It was a nightmare. She entered the room and spoke rudely in French to us guests who just wanted to be there resting. It was a total disregard for our needs. There are several hotels in the city center and surrounding areas of better quality. Don't come here if you want peace and respect. The pillows were awful and of very poor quality. In short, an experience that will make me never want to return.

The hotel is well located near a tram stop that goes directly to the airport and also within walking distance of the main sights, bars, restaurants and supermarket. Nice welcome on arrival. Good sized room - clean with a good shower. Didn't particuarly like a €50 deposit being taken - it feels cheap to do so as if the guests are ruffians - also paper cups for coffee in the room also cheap. That aside we had a good stay.

The hotel is well located with easy to the tram (line to airport and rail station) and within walking distance to the downtown. There is a relaxing park in front and easy access to the grund. It is secluded from the main road and very quiet. My room was very spacious with all the amenities expected (kettle, instant coffee/tea, safe deposit, mini-fridge as well as premium soap). The bed was comfortable and the pillows soft. I had meetings in the Kirchberg area and the tram took me there under 25 minutes. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

The location is why I chose this hotel. But there is no reason to go again. It is strange to be in a place which seems terrified of its own guests. An extra €50 a day (!) is preauathorised on the credit card in case you have breakfast which costs €20; the rooms are ok (and clean) with no wardrobe, and with broken hangers. There is a kettle in the room, but the hotel evidently doesn‘t trust its guests with proper cups, there are just paper beakers. I asked for a cup at reception and they insisted I had to go to the restaurant to get one, and the waiters there looked as if I‘d just suggested we commit a crime together and insisted on my room number. Hotels in Luxembourg are expensive, but I‘ve rarely experienced such poor value for money. The staff were all friendly enough, trying their best. The culture comes from the top and I wonder why this company are in the hospitality business at all.

Good friendly welcome, comfortable room on the ground floor, good beds, very clean and felt safe. We asked for another pillow, delivered in minutes. A light in the toilet (there is a separate toilet, which we like) broke and again, very quickly fixed. Five or six minutes walk from the Hamilius stop on the tram from the airport, about the same time into the city centre. A comfortable stay in a quiet part of town (no passing traffic near our room) and the room well insultated from noise in other rooms. All the staff we met were friendly and polite.

Asked for 2 singles and was told when we arrived at hotel only had a double (That left me and a co worker in a double bed (2 males) so as you can imagine not good at all! ) Asked if I had a car outside and the moment I said yes was charged another €25 euros to park for 1 night! They then took a further €50 euros deposit that I have now requested back 3 times and keep getting a standard generic message back ! Staff miserable, pillows like paper and generally an overpriced rip off ! Save your money and book elsewhere!

hotel parc plaza luxembourg is a Low range B&B with small rooms (Luxembourg is not Japan), old structure (freshly painted but still very antiquated) and fraudolent business behaviour. The staff will overbook and give away rooms on a first come first served basis, ignoring reservations and contractual commitments. hotel parc plaza luxembourg WILL take your money and WILL ignore yout reservation. i was offered the same type of room I travelled here for... for an extra 15 EUR fee. this is blackmail: pay us extra or you won't have anywhere to stay. hotel parc plaza luxembourg stafff conduct is concerning and raises questions on the legitimacy of the entire Goeres Hotels operations.

Beautiful hotel within 10 minutes walk of city. Rooms to a very high standard.Fridge and the most amazing shower.Staff at reception are so friendly.Always a positive ❤️If you don't want to dine in the Restaurant, they have a selection of yummy snacks at reception.x

Good location and comfortable rooms. Well located for the winter markets and CBD. There are fair points about the shower door, or absence raised and the pillows are thin. I am sure they will give you more if you ask. It really did not bother me. Great views from the hotel of the old town. The hotel also has some electric bikes for hire which made a great way to explore the city.

Excellent location in a quiet location. Rooms are sufficient and breakfast is satisfying. Beds are comfortable but I found the pillows to be very uncomfortable. They are big but too soft. That is about the only thing I did not like about the hotel. Shower area does not have a door and there are no storage cupboards in the room but that was not a major issue for me.

We are on vacation from the USA for 6 weeks in Europe. We were in Germany for 9 nights at 4 hotels and B&Bs. They were just OK, with one failing on many points. We have traveled all over Latin America, NZ, and parts of Asia, so I think we know good and bad from hotels and B&Bs. We stayed at the Hotel Parc Plaza in Luxembourg for 5 nights. I will start with the PROs and end with the CONs. PROS -only blocks away from all the action this city has to offer - more and varied types of food in restaurants, clothing stores, etc. than you would have time for in a month. -close to all of the blockbuster things you have to see in the city that are over the top wonderful and one of a kind. Luxembourg doesn't come up often as a destination but boy that is a big mistake. There are tons of things to do here. -the hotel is older but feels fresh and new and blends with many of the buildings built in the late 1600s. Clean everywhere, even the back stairs are spotless. -our room reflects this. It appears that all the individual rooms have big glass windows that opened fully or at the top. One floor has a/c and we are glad we booked that as a few days got up in the high 80s and 90s F. (of course this cost more). -we got checked in quickly, the elevator responded quickly to go up or down, the showers offered hot and even hotter water, good lighting and two tables. This is important as my wife and I work at night on the jobs we separately got before we left for Europe. -we always want a quiet place as this is part of getting away from our regular lives back home. Our room had at least double pane glass that dumbs down outside noise, and the walls between the rooms must be thick as we heard almost no sounds. As opposed to the last place in Germany where one child cried and the other perhaps 2 years old screamed all day and part of the night (not in pain just because I think she liked the sound). -Kiril, I thing he is the manager at front the desk, was ALWAYS naturally friendly, joked around, understood us, helped us (and others) with his own personality, not like it came from some Corporate order or dictate. He truly loves his job and helping people and making them feel at home in a large hotel. A one-of-a-kind special person that this hotel is lucky to have. He alone deserves 5 stars. CON So here I go. NO CONS. This has to be a first for us. And I think it will be a first for you too. You will be a lucky person if you stay here. Staff was excellent When we arrive at restaurant young man showed us how to go at reception(sorry doesn'tknow his name) At reception Salima was serve us, she was excellent and explainedus how to way the room, All over staff are very good includingrestaurant

Nice room, nice bathroom. Great, fantastic location! Great views of the city of Luxembourg. Breakfast was very good, very much worth the 21 euros charge. Negative thing, the air conditioner device almost in the center of the room

Stayed in Luxembourg for 2 nights as we have driven past so many times on the way to Germany we decided we needed to see what the city had to offer We wanted somewhere close to the city centre with car parking so chose the Park Plaza Firstly location absolutely fine with plenty of parking Reception was efficient welcoming and easy Rooms were clean and well equipped with kettle and fridge- always a good sign Would stay again if we had another stopover Not the cheapest in town though as breakfast was over 20euros each which I still think is high

The Parc Plaza is all in all a good place to stay. The restaurant bar is at the front of the complex and the food is good and the beer is cold. The hotel is of a good standard with all the facilities you would expect. A tip for the motorcyclists, the barrier does not recognise motorcycles (they say it's a weight thing but I think it's a mass sensor thing) but all is not lost there is a removeable post on the right of the barrier, just remove it ride through and put it back. I have added a phot to show the post.

Excellent hotel! First class staff and facilities. A great place to stay! They think of everything - central location. Quiet park nearby. The restaurant looked very good. Plenty of other choices nearby if you prefer. I love Luxembourg, a surprise mini-adventure, glad we chose this hotel!

hotel is ok, but the management is super unfriendly. so i asked twice to fix the shower, nothing happen. room had no AC it was around 35 degrees in the room...! we couldn't sleep at all... and when i asked and complained for all this at the end to the very unfriendly managerin for a discount of the expensive car parking. she just sayed no and charged me anyway from my deposit...?! never had an experience in a hotel like this, with this reaction of "they really dont care". i never go back there.

The hotel is ok for a short stay in Luxembourg. The room was functional, clean and the bed slept well. The breakfast buffet is ok with a sufficient choice of options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Getting to the city centre is a 10-to-15-minute walk.

Nice room. Very clean. Lovely staff. Excellent restaurant. However no door on the shower room. Entrance sensors don't work for motorcycles and the intercom doesn't work. They charge for parking even though there was no room in the secure car park.

The location is incredible! Walking distance to the city, shops and sights. It's super cute and cosy and exactly as expected. Parking was available (for a cost) and the top had all expected amenities including a decent sized fridge. I would definitely recommend to stay here!

Excellent position, few minutes walk from the centre, and nicely situated. Not top luxurious, but very good standard. Breakfast is great, overlooking the valley. All in all excellent price-quality for a stay in Luxembourg. Difficult to find better.

Clean hotel room with a couple of maintenance issues. I mention this as they were sorted swiftly. Good service and pleasant staff. Breakfast was good. Lovely view of Pont Adolphe from out back. Entrance is a bit odd but once you work out to go behind restaurant it's all fine.

Odd, odd place. Can't tell the hotel from the road as its hidden behind a restaurant, which is where you have breakfast, which has no kerb appeal at all, infant could do with a jet wash. Once through the barrier down a cobbled lane you eventually find the reception. Check-in was smooth and reception clean. Room spacious, clean and comes with kettle, fridge, safe and complimentary water. Nicely decorated too. Bed was huge but sadly not a good night's sleep as the pillows are terrible, far too soft and flat, had to ask for extra and still had to fold in half to get any firmness. Staff polite but not over welcoming. Outside areas could do with a spring clean and tidy. Hotel perfectly located for the centre, 5 min walk.

Hotel is in a central location close to city center. Staff were very nice and helpful, fast and easy check in. Very good communication when messaging before arrival. I was arriving early and asked if I could check in early they told me if possible they would accommodate this and when I arrived quite early my room was ready. Nice spacious room with fridge, safe TV, bathroom and efficient WIFI. Rooms don't have air conditioning and the weather was very hot while I was there. I think the hotel was supplying fans but I didn't ask rooms have nice big windows you can open.

The Hotel is very close to Hamilius Bus station (bus 29 from airport, or n. 9 or n. 16) and in Front of a nice small park with sparkling fountain . Few meters away ...on the left , the city center (place d'Arms) on the right Bridge Adolphe leading you directly to Gare Centrale. Remember that in Luxembourg all means of transportation are FREE and this is wonderful , especially to visit the most beautiful site of The Vianden Castle . The Hotel is in a very strategic position close to the center , distant from the noises. We had a very nice stay with TOP breakfasts (nice patio to have it) and very clean and comfortable rooms. Personnel also gives you an excellent and very competent service. What else? I strongly suggest this Hotel. If coming back to Luxembourg one day, surely i'll be again a Parc Plaza Hotel guest.

Odd, odd place. The location is very good and the staff friendly enough but everything else very strange. Horrendous decor. The shower room has no door and wall mirror angled so wherever the person you're sharing with in the room sits they can see you, so that makes for an interesting experience. But I always give a hotel the benefit of the doubt if a good nights sleep is had which sadly wasn't the case. There's no air con or any kind of cooling system so had to sleep with the window open - but guests and staff all night smoked right outside main reception which is where we were. Also, the pillows were ridiculously flat. Not joking… we had to have three each to get through the night. There are better places out there I'm sure.

We were looking for a place near the center and not too far from our parking (the hotel provides parking to the tune of 25EUR). Our room was small but it was ok for our needs. The bed was comfortable, there was a seating area and a patio door that looked into the courtyard so it was nice and quiet. Perfect location if you want to visit Luxembourg center. Note that the hotel requests a 50EUR pre-authorization.

This was our first night on our European Road trip, just googled hotels near where we parked and this one came up. Lovely hotel, central location, but the hotel set up is weird, rooms are in one place, the breakfast room/ restaurant are located about 200 yards away in another building. Reception staff were very efficient, room was lovely and clean,, with balcony, but no outlook because the trees hung over the balcony. Couple of problems with the hotel, there is very limited car parking, and the rooms don't have air con, which was a problem the night we stayed, it was a heatwave, the room was just so hot, we ended up having to sleep with the patio doors wide open, just to try and cool the room down.

Do you know what, it was cheap good quality, yes a bit quirky but okay. Room was clean and bright, sperate toilet to the bathroom which was welcome. Did come home with a couple of bites, not sure where these came from. Need was comfortable and hotel quiet. As mentioned in previous reviews, breakfast is in a totally different building. No big deal at all. Really good quality breakfast and dinner good views. The hotel is no more than a ten minute walk to the centre of Luxembourg.

Stayed one night for business. Oddly located in what seems like a Warren of twists and turns. Reception staff were very efficient and helpful both checking in and out. Breakfast is located in a nearby (2/3 minute walk) restaurant. Was standard fare, cereal, fruit, yogurt & small cooked selection. Staff helpful again. Only off putting think was the orange carpet & paint in the corridors, slightly over powering on the eyes!

We stayed here as a group. The hotel was wonderful and the breakfast was amazing. But...bring an umbrella as it's a short (and pleasant) walk from the hotel to the restaurant. The rooms were comfortable. Access to the rooms was about a half a block from where our tour bus parked because the lot was too small for a bus. There was underground parking for automobiles.
