I checked in late and Ares explained things extremely well, helped me set up a reservation, I was having a rough night and he helped put a bit of a smile onnmy face.

First off..I would not suggest this hotel if you have children or elderly family members with you. They only care about catering to the construction contracts evidently! i was charged 25$ for 2 washcloths and a towel..my grandson spilled my soda off the nightstand and my son rushed to wiped it up off the floor before it got under the bed which is closed off by metal barriers. At this time we are on the second floor in the middle..no elevator..so go down the stairs located on each end then walk around the building to get to the office for some rags? You mean the rags your housekeepers wrap around that swiffer mop and so called clean the floor with? So it all began becauce i requested a bottom floor having my grandson with me. At checkin i was told to check back the next day. We stayed 4 days and it took them 2 days to get me a bottom floor. The manager Abe says to me "because i kept asking... he asked one of the construction guys to move rooms and accomodate me..so the guy packed up and left"..who tells a customer that? So are you finding a way to charge me something because you lost another? The whole front of the hotel bottom floor was not being used because they are "remodeling"..from what i was told. I even tell the manager Abe i would not mind the construction noise because our AC was not workly properly in the first room plus the lack of outlets we had to move the microwave and coffeemaker near the bathroom sink..hazardous..to even use them.. We didnt even hear one hammer or see anyone in and out of those rooms the whole time we were there through the week. Id said probably something else is wrong with the rooms! And always get a receipt! i have stayed at this hotel before and our first experience was decent besides their computers systems taking our payments and them saying the room wasnt paid..not once but twice it happened during a week and half stay. i let that go. But i have never had a deposit taken or money taken out of a deposit anywhere because of towels!! oh and the phone didnt work in the room to call the office if i had wanted to have them come with a rag! i still wouldve had to run down stairs and around the building smh! Btw beakfast is a choice of over steamed sausage.. eggs.. and soggy hashbrowns.

5/5 3 minutes ago on Google I arrived early and was greated with an awesome attitude and a great smile by Martha. Her welcoming made us forget how horrible the heat was. Loved the clean rooms. Very nice swimming pool and delicious breakfastagain thanks Martha for breafast. the manager was super friendly and great attitude thanks Abe. I will definitely be back soon.🫠

I've had such a positive experience staying at Hotel Serene, and I especially want to recognize Martha at the front desk. She has been absolutely amazing! She is warm, kind, welcoming, patient, helpful, and professional. She always takes the time to listen and help, and she genuinely makes you feel cared about and welcome. Her compassion and positive attitude truly stand out, and Hotel Serene is lucky to have such a dedicated employee. Izamar at the front desk has also been wonderful. She is kind, compassionate, patient, and welcoming, and I really appreciate the way she has treated our family. As a mom with children, including a child with special needs, I really appreciate how the staff handles concerns. They communicate respectfully and let you know what needs to be addressed so that everyone can continue to have a peaceful and comfortable stay. Abelardo Gomez, the General Manager, has been very kind, understanding, helpful, and professional. If an issue comes up, he communicates respectfully and gives us the opportunity to address it rather than simply making us feel unwelcome. That understanding means a lot to me as a parent. Heather from housekeeping has also been very kind and friendly, and we appreciate her. Overall, I'm very grateful for the kindness, patience, and professionalism we've experienced at Hotel Serene. Thank you especially to Martha, Izamar, Ab,for helping make our stay comfortable and positive. ❤️

Best small place I ever say in Glendale. Everything is close by.There's a lot of shopping centers as well as restaurants.And bars. Me and my boyfriend enjoy the good collection breakfast. They have from omelets to burritos, sausage and bacon. The pool was amazing. I love how they renovated the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Great job to the manager for keeping the hotel clean and thanks to all the staff fot their hard work.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Total nightmare (and was a motel, not a hotel, as the name states.) Four families of four booked double beds in mid-January, then when we arrived the day of check-in in early March, they told us ALL that our credit cards were "declined" and the only option left was a king bed or nothing... so a lot of kids and parents ended up on floors and air mattresses, with no other hotel options avail within 30 miles (due to Spring Training and other big events in town.) There were also several other issues- people openly smoking drugs on the motel steps, someone potentially sleeping in a taco truck in the parking lot all weekend, and the pool had multiple code violations. Overall it led to a really uncomfortable weekend for a lot of our sleep-deprived kids and parents. The MOTEL staff offered no apologies or discounts, just blamed us guests. If we had paid $60/nt, I'd still be dissappointed, but we paid $230/nt!!!. Very deceptive, IMO.

After a long day of travels Martha went above and beyond making sure we had a comfortable room for our family. She helped us get a refund from an accidental third party booking. She was patient, kind, and is a true professional customer service hero!

Love this hotel!! Price is great, people that work here are even better, they go the extra mile to make sure to match ur good energy so come here be ur best and get it best what more can u ask for from the Best Western!!!

The hotel staff was so wonderful and kind. They made us feel so comfortable the entire time. Also, they were very knowledgeable about the amenities available. Sara at the reception desk was particularly helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

We went with family and enjoyed 2 rooms - check in was fast and easy. Reception was super accommodating and friendly (bilingual as well which is always a plus for me!), they gave me the key cards with wifi password already and explained and showed me all the amenities. I loved the view our rooms had, easy to find and walk towards our vehicle without any inconvenience. Breakfast was great! I loved how clean our room was, it made staying there so enjoyable for a family with a toddler! The pool was nice, I really liked the fact that it was located in an area with nearby shopping district that just so happened to have my favorite restaurant! Safe to say we'll definitely be recommending this to everyone looking a place and will be for sure coming back! 10/10! :)

Martha was very welcoming and friendly making the experience comfortable from the start! She went above and beyond and deserves a raise for the work she puts in and the way she positively represents this hotel. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable with a lot of space. Overall I recommend this hotel especially for the affordable price!

It was a rainy day in Phoenix but Martha made the checkin super fast and easy for me. She was so pleasant to work with. I had a lovely stay.

Came for a family vacation and got some great comfortable rooms, David was quick in getting me a room, and Ashley helped me with a problem with the air conditioner.

Best secret around the Arrowhead and Peoria Sports Complex! A room is a room, it's the service that has me coming back. Rooms are clean and don't need to worry about smoke smell from the previous people. Love setting up the laptop and fast wifi without having to call a IT person lol Thank you to Martha and the staff!

It was the best ever bw I went. The breakfast is good, and the room is small but good. It is not a 2-star hotel. This is 4-star. I recommend it so much. Please, if you are visiting the Musical Instrument Museum, go here. It is near the good places, and fuel stations. And, most of all, it is cheap.

Generally a nice hotel with quality beds and good overall service, with a good coffee service and free breakfast. However we were charged $25 damage deposit which they kept because we soiled one towel to clean up a minor spilled coffee that they provided. Worse yet when speaking to the manager he made it sound like this was a typical thing of charging guests for minor damage. A $2 towel with a coffee stain does not warrant a $25 charge.
