Wir waren lediglich eine Nacht im Best Western Ivywall in Puerto Princesa. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Gleich neben dem Restaurant hat es einige Restaurants und Läden, welche gut zu Fuss erreichbar sind. Wir können dieses Hotel empfehlen.

Sind im Zuge eines 2 wöchigen Philippinen Urlaub 2 Nächte im Hotel gewesen. Total zentral. Freundliches Personal. Größe und Ausstattung der Zimmer Passt. Im Zimmer teilweise leicht modriger Geruch. Restaurantbereich sehr sauber und schön. Pool im 3 Stock. Alles sauber und ok, aber etwas klein. Auf jeden Fall eine Weiterempfehlung!!

Best Western eben, hier kann man eigentlich nichts falsch machen. Alles recht neu und sauber, Frühstück auch lecker, Restaurants gleich um die Ecke und Massage sehr zu empfehlen. Flughafen ist auch in der nähe hatte aber überhaupt keinen störenden Einfluss. Da unser Sohn krank war haben wir uns einen Abend das Essen aufs Zimmer bestellt, eine absolute Vollkatastrophe und zudem völlig überteuert, mit das schlechteste was wir in 4 Wochen Philippinen erlebt haben. Ingesamt ist das Hotel aber zu empfehlen auch wenn die Klimaanlage im Zimmer erwas schwach war.

Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Flughafen. Da sich die Anzahl Flüge aber stark in Grenzen hält, gibt es keinen Fluglärm. Das Hotel bietet einen kostenlosen Transfer zum Flughafen an. Das Personal ist freundlich, aber zum Teil nicht sehr motiviert. Z.B. an der Poolbar wurden wir länger nicht bedient, da sich die Angestellten am unterhalten waren. Das Hotel an sich ist aber schön und verhältnismässig günstig.

Große Zimmer, gutes Frühstück und ein angeschlossenes Restaurant mit allabendlicher Liveunterhaltung. Trotz der Nähe zur Haupt sehr ruhig. Die wenigen Sehenswürdigkeiten im Zentrum der Stadt sind nicht weit entfernt, um das Hotel gibt es eine große Auswahl an sehr guten Restaurants

Wir waren für 10 Nächte im Best Western Hotel. Die Zimmer sind schön und modern eingerichtet. Alles wirkt sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Morgenbuffet ist in Ordnung, viele Einheimische Gerichte, aber auch andere Sachen. Also für jeden etwas dabei. Allgemein ist das Restaurant gut, die Speisen werden aber ab und zu kalt serviert. Das Personal war mehr oder weniger aufmerksam. An der Rezeption waren sie stehts hilfsbereit, doch im Restaurant zu wenig aufmerksam. Es werden auch Massagen angeboten. Diese sind auch sehr gut, jedoch kriegt man den gleichen Service zum halben Preis in der Robinson Mall. Der Pool wirkt gepflegt und ist erfrischend. Jedoch gibt es nur wenige Liegemöglichkeiten neben dem Pool. Die Lage des Hotels ist Zentral, nahe beim Flughafen. Man kann verschiedene Touren unternehmen. Leider bietet das Hotel erst ab 06.00 Uhr (auf den Philippinen heisst aber 06.00 Uhr nicht punkt 06.00 Uhr...) einen Transfer mit dem Hotel-Eigenen Bus an. Wenn man früher auf den Flughafen will, muss man ein Trycicle nehmen. Das war ein wenig unangenehm, den genügend Personal hat es auf jeden Fall. Ansonsten sehr solide.

Zum Abschluss meiner Reise durch die Philippinen habe ich eine Nacht im Best Western Plus The Ivywall Hotel verbracht. Das Hotel ist relativ neu und entsprechend sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage ist gut und vieles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal ist gewohnt freundlich und das Frühstück war hervorragend. Auch wenn es sicher günstigere Unterkünfte gibt, passt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis hier.

Check In war eine Katastrophe. 2 zimmer gebucht . Buchungen lagen angeblich nicht vor. Nach mehreren Versuchen zwecks Rücksprache mit der Best Western Buchungszentrale Buchung gefunden. Vorher sollten wir noch das Booking Voucher von Agoda an die Buchungszentrale senden. Alles sehr umständlich.Dasselbe für eine Verlängerung für eine dritte Nacht.Preis nur über Internet buchbar. Ansonsten waren die Zimmer ok, die Betten gut, das Frühstück für jeden was dabei.Der Pool sehr klein und p...warm. An der Pool-Bar gabs zwar eine Happyhour, jedoch nicht wie sonst üblich, Getränk reduziert bzw. ein zweites gratis. Check out ging einigermassen.Kreditkartenabrechnung noch nicht erhalten.

waren für 2 nächte hier. zimmer: sehr sauber, bett bequem, klima etwas laut, fernseher war gut badezimmer: hatte feuerameisen sonst sauber, bademäntel und flauschige tücher, warm wasser, toller föhn personal: sehr freundlich, sehr kompliziertes einchecken, redet nicht miteinander und muss dann unterlagen lange suchen... restaurant: in room super!, essen sehr gut, frühstücksbuffet könnte besser sein fazit: gut für 1-2 nächte, empfehlenswert

Wir sind schon am frühen Vormittag angereist und sogar die freundliche Managerin hat sich bemüht, dass wir rasch unser Zimmer beziehen konnten. Das Personal war ist gut ausgebildet und überdurchschnittlich engagiert.

Vorab habe ich mich mit dem Hotel per Mail in Verbindung gesetzt, um den kostenlosen Flughafen Shuttle in Anspruch zu nehmen. Dies hat Problemlos geklappt. Nach unserer Ankunft wartete jemand auf uns. Das Hotel liegt nur 5 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt. Wir haben lediglich eine Nacht dort verbracht, da wir am nächsten Morgen weiter nach El Nido gereist sind. Ich kann dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Es ist noch sehr neu und sehr modern. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Weiterhin gibt es einen Pool mit Bar, Fitnessraum und einen Spa Bereich. Das Frühstück bot viel Auswahl und nicht nur die typisch asiatischen Bestandteile wie Reis und Suppe. Es ist nicht das günstigste Hotel, aber den Preis auf jeden Fall wert.
Wir sind hier abgestiegen um Touren zu starten. Es ist ein Hotel auf dem absoluten WEST Niveau was wir kennen. Hier lassen sich locker einige Tage in einer wohlfühl Area verbringen. Poolanlage ist sehr überschaubar. Zum abkühlen reichte es. Frühstück ist von der Vielfalt nicht das non plus ultra, aber völlig(!) ausreichend. Gym hat neueste Geräte. Zimmer super. Einziges manco ist die Reception: der check in/Out dauert unsagbar lange. Mehr Speed wäre echt willkommen. Wir dachten es war nur eine ankommenswelle, aber dem war nicht so. Wir haben zwei mal hier eingecheckt, und beide Male ?
