Great customer service, rooms were large ,clean and comfortable. Bed were comfortable!!! Bathroom was spacious, plenty of room!! Love the amenities!!! Breakfast was some of the best I ever had. Lots to choose from!!Would definitely stay there again!!!
The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The employees were efficient. We will be back. Had an indoor pool. And an exercise room. Could buy drinks and snacks. Water for shower was hot and didn't run out before the showers were done.
A 5. The only thing that I could see that needed change, the towels were getting really thin. Everything was clean and the bed was so comfortable. We had 2 puppy dogs. We had enough room to walk them. The place didn't have a pet smell at all. We will probably use them when we return.
The hotel was great! Akia at the desk was awesome! Hotel was clean and staff was friendly and professional! Good breakfast as well. Would stay there again if passing through Lonoke, Arkansas. We would rather stay in a smaller town than in the city.
Stayed one night while traveling cross country. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Area felt safe, and had good parking. Breakfast had a good amount to choose from and was quite delicious. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
Awesome if only the young lady at the front desk when we arrived had been more pleasant and sincere and spoke (behind the plexiglass) so that she could be heard!!!! The hotel and everything else was great!!! Just ask the front desk young lady to throw in a little friendliness; it goes a long way!!!
This is one of the best BWs we've stayed in. Very clean, well maintained and nicely furnished. Easy to find from I-40 and a good rate for our budget. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the usual Best Western tradition- plenty of choices to start our day. We'd stay again!
The location is convenient to the interstate and a few fast food stops, the room was very clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was plentiful. One thing, and it's significant- the fragrance in the lobby and hallway was very overpowering. It was just too strong and will drive some away if it hasn't already. I'm just happy it wasn't in the room.
It was the first time we stayed at a best western. We were very impressed! It was very clean. The breakfast was incredible, there was a large variety. Everything was hot and fresh. The staff was very friendly! We are definitely going to stay here again.
Best pillows, bed and sheets I've ever experienced! I actually took A picture of the manufacturer tags so I can try and buy for myself, they're that good. Incredibly well cared for property and great staff. Breakfast eggs were unimpressive but everything else was awesome
Will, the receptionist was very kind and attentive, from the beginning, the environment was very clean, and the breakfast was excellent, I recommend this hotel to rest in a super clean room as well as the bathroom, i give to them 5 stars as well.
Very nice, clean hotel.. the staff was very professional too. We will plan on staying here when on this route. After checking prices of the other hotels in the area - this was a great deal. Breakfast was good too. Hot and cold selection and a great coffee machine !
If you want an “EXCELLENT “ place to stay, this Best Western is it!!! This location is exceptionally clean, quiet and reasonably priced. The front desk staff (Crystal Redfield) is an exceptional employee and if more businesses had employees like her the business would excel. We look forward to staying again.
I've stayed here numerous times and each has been just what I needed: a good room, gracious staff, a hearty breakfast...at a decent price! There's also a pool, exercise room, and a business center for those desiring them...I come to rest while en route... And There's a rewards program as well. I'm sold!
The room was immaculately clean. No musty smell like many other places I have stayed. I LOVED the citrus products and the idea of not being limited to the teeny tiny bottles at most places. Beds were comfy and fresh. DOWNSIDE: We were awakened by guests out in the hallway at 6:30 am. I think they had their door opened and were in and out of their room. Maybe some signs posted to be considerate of others while in the halls would be a good idea. They were loud for at least 30 minutes! Otherwise, the stay was great and I would highly recommend to others.
It was a nice, clean, and comfortable room. The check in went very smooth with a friendly staff. The parking area seemed safe and secure with plenty of parking. The morning Breakfast are was clean and well stocked I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with family or friends
The room was nice and clean. The bed comfortable. Chrystal checked us in and she was so nice and helpful. We stayed here a few months ago and she checked us in then too. There was a large breakfast selection. The only complaint we had was we wanted to watch the MLB Allstar game in the evening, but they didn't get Fox on the TV. They got CBS, NBC, ABC, but not Fox??
We weren't sure what to expect as this was our first time traveling this direction. We wanted to find something west of Memphis and east of Little Rock. After searching online, we found this Best Western plus and decided to give it a shot. I was able to pay with points, which was nice! Check in was quick and easy. We brought our dog and there was a $20 charge for her. No issues there. Our room was located right next to an entry door which made bringing in luggage easy. The hotel itself and the room had an overwhelmingly floral/gardenia smell. The smell was honestly too strong. If it would've been toned down a bit, it would've been fine, but I woke up with a headache and a sore throat from it. We were in room 102 and the room is somewhat dirty and really needs a good scrub down. The trim is dirty, the walls are dirty. It's not so bad that we didn't want to stay, but it's not somewhere we would stay for a week. It was fine for an overnight. No signs of any bugs except for a couple mosquitoes flying around, which is unavoidable during the summertime in the south. The mattress was very comfortable and we had the best nights sleep as far as that's concerned, of our trip over the past couple weeks. The pillows are euro pillows, which the best western's all seem to all have now. Terrible little lumpy pillows but if you ask for a couple extra, you can prop yourself up OK. The breakfast smelled good but we woke up too late to snag some. They do have a wonderful espresso machine which I was able to use before they closed down the breakfast area. I did not swim, but the pool looked lovely and clean from outside the door. I used the laundry facilities ($1.50 each in quarters) and they were fine. Vending and soda machines at the end of the hall are convenient. There's also a gas station right in front of the hotel for beverages/odds & ends. Convenient place and I would definitely stay again if it was just an overnight. I would not want to make it long stay unless they cleaned up a little bit better though. There seem to be plenty of parking when we were there. The garbage at the rear door closest to our room door was overflowing and garbage on the ground. The small area for pet relief seemed cleaned up and was natural grass, not turf so that was nice. I gave it four out of five stars because overall it's fine for a two star hotel and a quick stay. With a little elbow grease and less perfume, they could get a five star I believe.
The lady at the front desk was very kind, welcoming, and helpful. The room very clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a pool, fitness room, and a complimentary breakfast. Overall a pain free and pleasant stay. I would certainly go back!
Very clean inside and out. Well maintained. Easy parking Location right off of interstate so very convenient. Bed was very comfortable. Very quiet surroundings. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Air conditioner was quiet and kept room comfortable. Easy checkin and checkout process.
We stayed here after a wedding as it was the second cheapest and seemed pretty nice. The room was spacious, clean, and didn't have any odors. We liked that we could control the AC from the wall instead of the unit panel itself. It was a little noisy but that's any hotel room AC. Bed was super comfortable, however the pillows were very flat. The TV is a normal tv with cable channels, we personally wished it was a smart TV. As for the bathroom, it was surprisingly spacious and had plenty of counter space. The shower had good pressure and all the linens were clean. My only complaint for the bathroom is the lighting is VERY dim so don't expect to do your makeup in front of the mirror, I had to prop my phone up at the desk in the room. Breakfast was awesome and featured boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffles, biscuits, gravy, toast, muffins, bagels, cereals, fruits, juices, and coffee. Overall a nice hotel for a short stay, just could use some small upgrades.
Spacious room, comfortable bed, pet friendly hotel. Conveniently located right off route 40. Thought we were in middle of nowhere but discovered a super Walmart walking distance away for food or needed items, so that's a big plus. Hot breakfast included with room. Only complaint is that the coffee maker is located in the bathroom, and that's just gross.
It is so clean and reasonably priced! Everything is in good working order. The halls/doorways are well lit. The breakfast is hot with a lot of variety and even has an espresso machine. There is iced lemon water, hot water, and coffee available at all times. There is so much attention to the little details that make a good stay great!
Very clean. We were happily surprised about the condition of this hotel. We usually stay at a competitors hotel but for this location it had bad reviews so we decided to try this Best western. The beds were clean and comfortable. We have bookmarked this location so when we come back through, we will stay there again. Only negative is all the tables in the breakfast area were dirty and I had to find hot water to clean the syrup off.
It was very Very clean and a nice complementary breakfast. Kids loved the inside pool and that it was open til 10. The Beds were comfortable and pillows were so soft. Just a great overall experience and the price was rite. Will definitely be staying again
Nice and clean room, great cappuccino machine and full breakfast bar. My only complaint is that the parking lot is blacktop and probably 200F in the sun - if you have a dog you'll have to be strategic about how to get them in and out. I'll be back though, we had a nice overnight stay.
Clean, very comfortable with restaurants and fuel station near by. Breakfast very good. Best Western has always been a great choice. All this for a reasonable price. Will recommend and probably return. And I didn't even have a reservation!
Nice, Clean hotel. It was a safe hotel. Super Nice beds and good pillows! Attendant was so helpful! Checked in at midnight. Didn't get to make it to breakfast. No coffee in the lobby. Pool and fitness center looked clean! Would definitely stay here again! Nice little town.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was immaculate and in working order. The breakfast had many choices and were all very tasty. This was one of my best stays at various motels this trip. I will more than likely choose Best Westerns in the future.
Check in was fast, room was clean. Fairly quiet as well, except a few rowdy people showing up late, which didn't last long. Doors slamming kept waking me up, but that's not the hotel's fault! Overall a good experience. Gas and food very close.
Stayed 3 different times while moving from OK to TN. Conveniently located to hwy as well as gas station, restaurants and Walmart. Beds are firm and very comfortable. Front desk staff are courteous, although the checking process seemed to take longer than expected... but we did have 7 traveling with us and needed 3 rooms. Great breakfast options but eating room is a little tight. Would gladly stay again.
Great place to stop just before Little Rock. This hotel is Super clean, bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was fantastic. Lots of room for large vehicles to park. The pet fee was only $20 compared to most of the places in the area. We will definitely stop here again.
This management and ownership group knows how to care for a property. I was pleasantly surprised by service, cleanliness of rooms and property amenities. After checking out the competition I promptly booked here. Best hotel in many miles by many miles!
Front desk folks were awesome. Lobby was nice and clean and smelled good. The room was clean n cool. The bed was really comfy. Hot water was great. TV had a lot of channels to choose from which is nice. Overall very satisfied. Definitely would stay again.
It has easy access from the interstate. The staff very friendly and helpful. They offer an early good breakfast for any leaving early. We had an easy check in and out. The only thing close to eat was fast food and another sit-down chain restaurant which was ok for us. We would recommend this hotel.
Over night stay on the way home to Oklahoma. Check in took too long since I'd done a pre-check earlier including ID. I think it was a new employee?? Room was large and both room & bath were very clean. Bed and pillows were super comfy. Got a great night's sleep after driving 8 hours! Breakfast room was bright and clean. Had scrambled eggs, sausage links with biscuits and gravy. Nice touch was grated cheese for the eggs. Nice assortment of bread, cereal, muffins plus waffles. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it. Workout room had "Out of order" sign on the door. Lonoke doesn't boast large dining choices so we got roasted chicken, mac'n'cheese & pint of ice cream at Walmart just 5 minutes away! Overall a nice stay.
Everything was so clean. The room was so convenient especially for our dog. Breakfast was excellent with many choices - even blueberries! Front desk service was so accommodating at check-in and checkout. We will definitely be staying here again
The staff member made registration easy and shared all the information I needed for my stay. My room, the hallways and the stairs were all clean. The hotel smelled good. The breakfast was good, but the area is small. There were options for breakfast and the coffee machine to make your own coffee is excellent, they have two waffle makers. The food is hot. The scrambled eggs were very good. The Mexican restaurant which is close to the Best Western is good. There's a Walmart close by. There is also a waffle house, but I've never eaten there. The Indoor pool appeared to be clean. I did not swim. The fitness room was closed.
A great stop and location on our travels. Very easy on and off the freeway. Hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and didn't have any odor or stains. Breakfast was good for a start on a long days drive. Will stay here again.
Overnight stay on our way to Chicago. Clean, organized well staffed. Convenient location for our road trip. 2nd time here. Previous here in November. Looks like others are discovering great location. Real estate Investors take notice.
Great service and very comfortable clean rooms. I would stay at this hotel again. Will recommend any of my friends or family to stay
Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Only thing that I can complain about was the bathroom lights. They need a higher watt bulbs. Was kind of dark.
Had a great experience, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and delicious
Everything was great, food, staff, the pool. Only negative would be that the free WIFI didn't work. It said we were connected but I am assuming too many ppl were on the internet at same time.
The motel was clean and nice, staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay for the the most part, however there was a hiccup. The people who were in the room next to me had dogs, who barked & growled approximately half the night. I called the front desk to see if they can could remedy the situation. It wasn't the most pleasant experience, but I made the best of it.
The pillows were fantastic but more importantly, I received a genuine warm welcome! Clean, welcoming, accommodating, comfortable! Homemade breakfast was available as well. I'd stay at this location again! Right off the highway for easy access too.
Very clean and comfortable hotel. The bed was amazing! Continental Breakfast was very good and the staff exceptional. Our stay was relaxing after a very long day of traveling on the road. We would recommend and definitely stay at this hotel again!
The best part was Chrystal at the front desk. She was kind, friendly and very helpful. I wasn't very hungry and had some celery in our ice chest. I wanted some peanut butter to eat on the celery. Chrystal found some for me! The room was clean. The only thing missing was a freezer in the frig. We wanted to freeze our ice packs, but no freezer section in the frig. Other than that one thing, our stay was great.
Very friendly & helpful at check in - We traveled with an ESA pet, so utilized a pet friendly room. Even the back stairs leading to the room were clean and fresh smelling. The room & bathroom impeccable, bed comfy. Pillows are big & fluffy, so if you like a thinner one be sure to bring your own - Hubby loved them - but for me they were too much. However, everything else was literally perfect and more than made up for that small inconvenience. So glad we stayed!
Staff was great. We checked in very late, and someone was there to happily greet us. Nice pool for the kids. Good continental breakfast. Good location right off the freeway. ………………………….. I went for a run in the morning along beautiful country roads. All in all, it was a really nice stay. The front desk let us have an extra half hour for check out.
Beautiful property with comfy rooms! Shower water pressure was great and towels were soft. Had to leave early, so we couldn't stay for breakfast, but coffee was available in room and in lobby. Right off Route 40 made it a convenient stop for us.
I was traveling across country driving for days. I chose Lonoke AR because I didn't want to stop in a busy city like Little Rock. I went an hour past to avoid the noise. This was the most sound proof room I'd stayed in for a long time. Silence. No loud door slamming etc. I slept for nearly 8 hrs uninterrupted. Unheard of on the road. Bed was comfy. All amenities were good.
The room was comfortable and quiet at night. We are traveling cross country and this BW worked out very well. The only issue we had was the instant coffee machine, instead of fresh perked. The breakfast choices were very good otherwise. Thank you.
Very nice hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. We loved the fact of no carpet in the rooms. The hot breakfast was great with lots to choose from. The coffee machine made excellent coffee of your choice. Our room was quiet, nice tv and comfortable beds.
We stayed for 2 nights. We came in town for a funeral and we were impressed. The hotel itself was clean. The staff was super friendly. Our room was sparkling. We even had some free breakfast. If we ever need to come back to town, we will stay here again!
Since I stayed at this hotel chain, I am and have been staying with them since on my trips. Such nice people, property is clean and can't say enough about the rooms, space, and comfort is amazing. They have a indoor pool, workout room, free breakfast
Very nice young lady checked us in, room was very clean and comfortable- great price/value. The bed linens were smooth and soft, very nice feel. Bath amenities were above average. You guys need to fix your review page a minimum of 200 characters is too much to ask… take whatever the guest is willing to give.
The ladies at the front counter were great! The room was cleaned and I slept great! They were able to set up my membership and hopefully it will work. They told me about all amenities that is available for used and how breakfast will be served in the morning.
Nice clean place Not the Ritz but all we needed for the night We were traveling fromSan Antonio to Knoxville and simply needed a clean comfy stay and this fit the bill plus the price was reasonable the staff was nice Breakfast was sufficient and the breakfast area was clean
Really liked the whole room, the employees were polite and respectful, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in our travels. The only thing I seen was they need a bigger place for the pets to go to the bathroom. Other than that one of the best places to stay I would recommend to anyone.
Check went smoothly. Desk clerk was friendly and was helpful to move me to a different room after the first one smelled like a smoking room. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good.
The room experience was great. The staff was very friendly. Recommendation for restaurant for dinner was perfect. The breakfast was very disappointing. Biscuits were dry and hard. Gravy was too salty and pasty too eat. The eggs were cold.
The halls and room were clean. The pool and gym looked pristine but we didn't have time to use them. I was able to have biscuits and gravy for breakfast so that made me very happy. Everyone working there was smiling and pleasant. If we ever have to go back to that part of Arkansas, we will book there again
The room was very clean, the bed extremely comfy and ease of check in/out. The breakfast was plentiful, but the biscuits were too hard and the eggs were extremely dry. All in all, I'd stop again! Side note: They need to fix the gap in the door between the frame and door. Too easy to Jimmy the lock and get in.
The bed and pillows were great! The breakfast was better than a lot of similar hotels. The pancake machine was pretty interesting! The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 is because I had to call the place when I got there because the lady at the desk was nowhere to be found! She came and was really nice but I would have loved some way to page her if she was busy doing other things
Clean and comfortable beds nice clean showers, a wide variety of items making for a nice breakfast very friendly staff over all a very good experience would most definitely recommend and stay there again
The accommodations were very nice. The staff was helpful and considerate. This hotel is tucked away near a gas station where I stopped to fill up and I just decided to stay. Breakfast was included but I overslept, but got coffee on my way out.
It was very late and we needed to stop. There are other hotels in the area but I HIGHLY recommend staying here. If you get Caleb at the front desk then you're day/night will be golden. He got us checked in swiftly and was very sweet to both my boys. My eldest interacted with him quite a bit & Caleb responded well. Clean hotel, comfortable bed and great variety at breakfast. I will stay here again if I'm ever in the area.
My stay at the Best Western Plus Lonoke was perfect. The room was clean and cozy, the a/c worked great, the building was quiet, which I appreciated, and the TV remotes worked! The front office was very helpful, provided me a room on the second floor, at my request. Anytime I drive through Arkansas on I-40, I will break my trip there!
After a long day and late night, it was nice to arrive to a helpful front desk, spotless room and leave in the morning with a nice breakfast. Plenty of breakfast choices and good coffee. The cleaning staff were smiling and singing as they worked. Highly recommend!
Everything was clean. The lobby was tasteful & inviting. The innkeeper was friendly & helpful. The mattress was comfortable. The pet fee at this hotel is the lowest we've ever had. I highly recommend.
Everything was how it should be: nice reception, clean, good breakfast, quiet room and reasonable price. We spent one night because we are heading home after a long road trip. This Best Western was perfect for a much needed rest. Thanks so very much!!
We needed a good place to sleep during our long road trip. This place is conveniently located near the interstate and has a few dining options and Walmart close by. The rooms are clean and breakfast options are plenty. Overall a good value.
The staff is very friendly , beginning with desk clerk to thesraff constantly rotating yhe breakfast items. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast had enough choices to please everyone. Pool was a welcome reprieve from day of travel
Very clean & relaxing room. The mattress was very comfortable. Bertanyia at front desk at check-in was very Professional & Helpful. She forget to give us our free water & etc,& she did not mention ,Thank-You for being a Diamond member. Jay the very nice & Professional young gentleman ,who I checked out with was very friendly & ask,if we had a good stay. I said , we did have a very relaxing & comfortable stay.
The bed was awesome. We got the best night sleep ever. The room was clean. Staff at desk was polite, helpful. Breakfast was hot and just what we needed before taking to the road again. Thank you for the experience.
Located in a good location with mutiple restiarants and other services. Well maintained hotel, with comfortable rooms. Great staff, friendly service with a nice breakfast area! The indoor pool is a big bonus!
The good part is that this is a very clean hotel. The bad news is they did not honor my reservation but told me they did not have a room of the type I reserved (which I do not believe since the hotel wasn't even half full). Instead of offering an upgrade at the same price, they down graded my room and told me that was the only thing available.
The front desk staff member that check us in was extremely helpful. He confirmed that we knew what amenities available to us. What time breakfast was available. He showed us the best way to get to our room. Will be returning to this location on our trip home as well as future trips.
nice room helpful staff restaurants near by breakfast was okay may stop again if near by one day. Nick at the front desk was very helpful. right off the interstate freeway easy in and easy out thank you
Good place to stop for one night on the road. Facilities are older and in need of update. But the rooms are clean and they do allow pets. Really good Mexican restaurant next door. Easy freeway on and off.
the staff was very pleasant and caring. I felt the price was way too high for a retired person. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was not very good ... cold and lacked flavor. No variety offered and noticed people in the breakfast area the night before and not sure if the area was cleaned after they left
We traveled from Georgia to New Mexico just before the Labor Day holiday and stayed at the Best Western Plus in Lonoke, AR. We travel with a dog, and were so pleased this location welcomed our Great Pyrenees! Mr. Ray at the front desk is a master at hospitality. As I have mobility issues, he helped hold doors and made sure we had an accommodating room. He made check in quick and easy. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable. The location is quick off of I-40 and there are several options for dining nearby. I highly recommend this location and hope to stay here again on our next trip. Thank you Best Western for a wonderful stay.
Rooms are clean, staff are there when you need them. The bed we slept in was firm. Over all the stay was a positive experience. This best western (BW) had hand sanitizer in multiple locations. Disinfected rooms after guest checked out.
I can't believe the clerk remembered me from our last stay in February! Amazing team. Rooms are big and clean, staff is friendly and the breakfast gets your day off to a great start. Will definitely stay there again
Great place to stop and rest in a cross country drive. Staff was excellent, room was clean and modern, and the breakfast and internet both great as well. Exceeded all expectations! Plus, there's a great local Mexican restaurant within walking distance called Mariachi Grill that was an added bonus. Will definitely remember this as a great stopping place!
From check-in to check-out everything was great. Ray at the front desk was charming and pleasant, my room was nice and refreshingly cool - despite the heat advisory! The young lady at the front desk in the AM also did a fantastic job with keeping the breakfast area clean and stocked, while checking out guests. It's nice when staff takes pride in what they do, which obviously Ray, the young lady in the AM, and housekeepers do! Definitely would stay here again!
We stopped here on our way to Tennessee. The check in was easy and the man was very nice and attentive. The room was very clean and the beds were great. The price was good. The breakfast was fully stocked and hot. This is a small town and it was very quiet.
Reported and stated he would be right up. Never saw him and the temp in the room reached 80 degrees. When we reported the next morning, the front desk guy said “oh he was probably busy and just forgot. Sorry about that”.
I only met 2 staff members. There was no problems. The room was clean, everything that we used worked the way it made to work. Breakfast was good. I cannot say anything negative about our stay there. The location for my wife & I was halfway between our home & Norman OK
Staff were at the desk despite a late arrival and they were helpful with parking our trailer. Hotel was clean and everything functioned…….definitely not the case with many other hotels advertising themselves in the same bracket. For this type of hotel and price range……good value.
While the area around the hotel is a bit run down and can be off putting, the rooms themselves are nice, clean, and comfortable and the staff is friendly, helpful, and responsive. As someone who travels a great deal with her dog, I LOVE Best Western hotels. Most of them have outside facing doors, making it easy to get in and out with my pet. And so convenient for packing and unpacking the car. I am a big fan of Best Western in general thanks to the fact that most of them have the door facing outside (and not inside the hotel itself, making taking your dog out at night for a bathroom break a huge production. BW's set up makes this a breeze. I really like this hotel and would stay again for sure. Also, while I don't love the overall industrial look of the area it is in - it is convenient to the highway and lots of fantastic restaurants.
Stopped at the Best Western Plus Lonoke when returning from a disaster relief mission trip to Southwest Kentucky. It popped up as a potentially good spot to stop overnight, and it met our needs and expectations. Reservations were made with the BW app, check in was quick, and the beds were wonderful after 2 weeks of sleeping on cots. We left early so missed the provided breakfast, but very positive overall experience.
Good value, breakfast was good as I typically dislike hotel breakfasts. We slept 9 hours and were in the hotel a total of 10 so not much to share but it was a pleasant experience and the staff was accommodating and friendly.
My stay at the Best Western Plus Lonoke AR was great. I got a good nights rest, no noise. Easy access to I-40. A great Mexican restaurant next door which was recommended by the desk clerk. Nice quite room at an affordable price.
They put us in a hallway with a bunch of people with dogs. We're told because we reserved online we couldn't change to another room. Dogs barked all night. Someone was trying to open our door at midnight. If it wasn't for my wife pleading with me not to open the door, someone would have been seriously hurt. Walls are paper thin. You can hear people talking and hear their television. The fan on the ac sounded like a jet was coming in for a landing. This place sucks. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more to stay at Holiday Inn or Hampton.
Love this hotel. Stopped when traveling in July and August Perfect access to get on and off freeway Great staff, really good breakfast and awesome coffee! Will definitely stop here in Lonoke when traveling!
We picked this location, because we were looking for a place between Little Rock and Memphis. We were pleasantly surprised by this property, because of its neat and clean appearance, and the wonderful historic city. Found a great restaurant in downtown called the Grumpy Rabbit, that added to the charm. I highly recommend this motel, and the city.
Luke from the front desk was a God-send. We traveled for 300 miles with no availability. We called BWP Lonoke and Luke answered right away. He was able to have us book the last room and it was amazing! The room was so spacious and clean. The bed was one of the nicest I have ever slept on in a hotel. The hotel access from I40 was easy and convenient. We will definitely be stopping here again if we are ever traveling back this way. Thankful we found this BWP!
we could not be happier with how the hotel staff accommodated a late night, unexpected check-in for our family of 7. Kids tired, adults more tired, driving environment dangerous, screaming infant, this facility saved us. I have always been happy with Best Western - it is our "go to" home away from home.
Great hotel but hard to tell from the outside. Not an attractive area, but a very comfortable Best Western. Very comfortable bed, and I'd have preferred a bathtub. There's an indoor pool which was great for the heat but we were too tired! We had dinner right next door at a Mexican restaurant, highly recommended, great service: Mariachi Grill.
This hotel was full of smiling faces happy employees and accommodating staff. The hotel was impeccably clean & the breakfast was hot and delicious and plentiful. This location is truly a gem! We started our travels in Arizona and this was the first hotel that lived up to expectations... actually exceeded our expectations!
Traveling with our old dog is never easy. Numerous times we have been put in the pet rooms and they are usually less then clean. But our room here was wonderful. Clean in excellent shape. No stains, smells dingy decor. I was pleasantly surprised! We enjoyed our stay after a Kong day in the car!
Best staff around. Helpful and Courteous. Went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable. From the time we stepped in the hotel if felt friendly. Smelled clean. Room was spotless and well stocked. Door was open for us and was greeted by a staff member to make sure the room was good.
This was a great hotel. Employees, meeting your needs, cleanliness in lobby and rooms were perfect. Breakfast was 100% delicious and so much variety. I highly recommend it his hotel, sheets are clean, hallways, nothing was stained broken, quiet. It was perfect. And while checking in I was asked if I wanted to join the best western rewards so I could be able to receive discount, points. I couldn't be happier. Thank you
My husband and I stopped in after being on the road for a VERY long time. Nick was so welcoming, friendly and professional. We're so thankful for the excellent service we received. If given the opportunity to stay at the Best Western in Lonoke again, we certainly will.
Desk manager offered his opinion of a nice place to eat in town which turned out to be spot-on. The Grumpy Rabbit was a delightful restaurant with delicious food and wine selections. The room was spacious, convenient, quiet and well maintained.
Third time we stayed here and the pool wasn't usable! The manager then wanted to argue with me. TV was stuck on one profanity channel. The hot buffet is that you push a button and a rubbery pancake studies out the machine! Really?? We cancelled our return stay. For over $90 bucks spent here you can do better down the road. Room was clean but that was cancelled by the no care attitude of the staff.
This is the third time we stayed at this hotel, it was not a charm. We waited between a half hour and 45 minutes for the check in. Quite a line when we started and there was still a line when I left. We had made reservations online. The beds were fine actually very comfortable. The breakfast was below standard. They ran completely out of coffee and went about 10 minutes before bothering to refill it. I understand with Covid things can't be 100% normal but this wasn't even close. This hotel has done much better in the past.
An overall enjoyable stay on a night passing through. Hotel seems to be offering most amenities at this time, though the breakfast area was not being replenished frequently at the time we ate as several items were out over the times we checked. Friendly desk service and a comfortable sleep, so overall a good value for the money paid.
We stayed here during our way to TN. It was fine for a night. I didn't sleep well, which was a big bummer. The a/c was noisy so we had to turn it off, then we got too hot. The doors shut noisily, so early in the morning we could hear all the doors, people walking, and dogs moving about or barking. Every time we turned the water on, it made loud noises and sprayed everywhere as if there were air bubbles or pockets from a leak or disruption somewhere along the line. They had cereal, oatmeal packets, yogurt, and fruit - less than pre-pandemic times I'm assuming. Otherwise, it had decent amenities and staff was friendly.
Traveling across country we stopped in and had a good night sleep. Hotel was clean and neat and everything was in working order. Easy in and out from the freeway and plenty of parking as we were pulling a trailer.
I checked in here December 20th and had made a mistake with my reservation and booked it for the June 20th. Well not only did the extremely kind checkout girl (Haley) make me welcome and help me with a proper check in and found me a room. At checkout the manager (Jay) took care of all the stuff with Hotels.com and I received my money back. I am amazed by the kind and professional crew that I dealt with here. Great room and slept very well Thank you thank you
The service, place, and people are the best ever. They have become apart of our family. It's like coming home. They greet us with a smile and know exactly what we need extras of before we even ask. The know our first names and the names of our kiddos. They take the time to ask our kiddos how they are and if they need anything. The beds are so comfortable. The pool is the best place for the kids to release energy and the gym helps me release stress from the travel.
This was a last minute check in while traveling on 10-25-20 and the young lady at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and breakfast was good. The hotel had a very clean smell and felt clean. Thanks for a great stay! :)
The good: our room was spotless, location was convenient, everything functioned well, pet friendly. The bad: curtain in room had shredded spots. Continental breakfast was very poor. No protein at all to speak of, breakfast burrito that had to be microwaved was filled with brown goo and tasteless. Would have been worth spending a little more somewhere else and getting a more nutritious, hot breakfast included.
We stayed in a room with a single king bed, was impressed with the stylish decor. The size of the room was bigger than most. Very clean. Continental breakfast only due to covid but that's okay. The only thing that could have made our stay better would be more eating places in the area. There are several hotels but not that many places to eat.
The desk chair in the room was missing part of the material on top of the chair. It apparently had been torn off (actually looked like a chair someone would have set out for garbage). Also, there was a t-shirt or underwear in the garbage can in the room that cleaning staff failed to remove from the previous quest. Desk staff at checkin was very accommodating as was the staff when I checked out. They appeared very concerned at my comments about my findings in my room.
Great service, friendly staff and super clean. Very impressed with how fast the check in was and how super clean the rooms are. Very modern and nice! Breakfast was hot and fresh, at check out the staff was friendly and super nice!
The front desk guy never cracked a smile, even though I tried to be pleasant with him at check in. The bathtub wouldn't drain during the shower. I'm thinking how the heck does the housekeeper clean the bathtub and not notice this?? Breakfast was over at 8:30 instead of 9:00 as stated, except for what was left. Nothing new got put out despite several people asking for waffle mix. No more was the standard answer. Other than that the place seemed nice. Maybe practice customer service to improve tremendously.
The place was very run down. It started at the front desk for check in. The gentleman came out to check us in while playing a video game. He was very friendly but finishing a video game is not professional. We check into room and the room at first look and seemed clean. We used the back door which they tape open the door lock so there is no security there. There is trash all around outside and the small dog areas are filled with poop and they do not provide bags. We asked for a cot and he was very accommodating to help us. I opened the cot and thought no way in hell myself or my family was sleeping on that. They need to throw it in the trash. Disgusting. I then noticed that someone's dirty razor was in the trash can so I brought them the bag with razor and asked for a new trash bag. The hotel advertises an indoor pool but it has been broken. It seems the owner just do not care about this hotel anymore. The breakfast was bad. I walked in and there was only one clean table. I moved stuff from other tables to make a couple clean tables because I do not want to sit next to others people trash. It was at least 10 minutes before anyone came in and cleaned up the tables. Did I mention the bed was hard with no give. The bedding seemed very dingy. They need to buy new bedding for the hotel. The shower drained slow and the shower handle appeared to be broken and it was hard to use. There was dust stuck to the walls around the shower. I would not recommend this hotel unless they literally clean up their act.
It's showing its age - I'd give it 2-1/2 stars if I could, but I can't. At $100+ (including tax) it gets two stars. I thought Best Western Plus was a step above Best Western, but not so here! Here's why: 1) There was a grinding/grating sound on and off all night that sounded like someone moving furniture nearby, 2) the mattress was worn out, 3) the walls are thin, 4) draperies are shabby, 5) the sink was very slow draining, 6) the toilet seat would not stay up unless I pressed it back hard against the tank, and 7) the microwave was missing a leg so that it rocked badly in its cubbyhole when we tried to use it - no coffee cups in this microwave! BUT on the plus side the two gentlemen behind the desk when I checked in were real nice and accommodating.
Our Motor coach was being worked on just down the road at a Camping World Center and this hotel was just what we needed in the perfect location to meet our needs while we waited for them to complete the work on our Coach.
The curtains were falling apart there were ants in the bathroom and the mattresses we soft with craters in the middle . We had traveled all day with delays because they closed the highway and we were too tired to leave and go some place else very disappointing
We had been driving for 9 hours and were looking for a comfortable place to stay. We have always had good experiences staying in Best Western Plus hotels. This place is NOT a Plus hotel! When I arrived it had a funny smell, and when I went into the room it was worse. The room had an off smell, and the linens were dingy and stained! When I called down to the front desk to complain about not being able to get many channels, I was told “ it happens sometimes, and there is nothing I can do down here”. I felt like he was rude and uncaring.
We weren't there very long. Arrive late and departed early but everything went very well. The staff was very friendly the room was clean, albeit a little small.. but we were only there for a few hours so it all worked out. The breakfast consisted of the basics oatmeal, waffles and the like with country potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese omelette and sausage. Not top notch, but was good. Although we didn't use it, the workout room was looked very impressive. Nice place to stay.
Old but clean. Dated hotel needs some freshing. Clean room. Convenient to the interstate. Nice friendly and helpful staff. Bed was comfortable. Decent rate for the night. Overall good stay and if we were passing through here again I would stay here again
A nice and clean Best Western Plus. The front desk recommended a good flower shop near them wehere we could sent flowers to a relative in Texas. They called to make sure the place was still open as it was almost 5pm, and asked the shop to please wait for us as we were only 10 minutes away. Great service.
The room just did not smell good when you entered. I can't say that it stunk, it just had a strange odor. After walking around barefooted in the room for about 5 - 10 minutes your feet were entirely black so obviously the carpeting was filthy.
Keep in mind this location. Rooms are clean and tidy. Not a new place, but well kept. Staff was very friendly and came to the rescue with a fan because I couldn't breath (lung condition), and room needed to cool down. Breakfast is very good. If you don't want the freebie, there's a Denny's right beside the parking lot. It is nothing fancy and will need some upgrades soon, but for a night or two is just fine.
We had stayed here a couple of years ago when it was just about new. I thought it would be a good place to stay since we had a good experience before. We were wrong. The desk chair in the room was missing about half of the vinyl covering leaving the foam rubber padding exposed. When my wife tried to sit in it, the chair almost flipped over backward. In the bathroom there was a patched hole about 6" x 12". It was just patched, not smoothed or painted. We will be passing this by on any future trips and stay at the Hampton Inn down the road.
great place and good location ,would stay here again, people were friendly. we was just passing through looking for a place to rest for the night . We stayed at Best Western hotels the whole week trying to build up points. The person at the front desk never told us about points until the last hotel
The staff here are excellent. Everything else could use some help. Rooms were clean but dimly lit and cramped. Mattresses and linens were okay not great. Breakfast was sparce compared to other BW's. The area is questionable. I was expecting a more improved and updated property but this was not the case. Easy access the interstate and amenities nearby.
I was treated like Royalty and I loved it. The bed was excellent. The pool was refreshing. The food was hot and fresh. The place was spotless. It had a very pleasant smell throughout. Great internet connection. I will be back
Very friendly staff. Great personalities. Room was nice accommodations. Nice quiet location. Good food nearby. Internet an TV reception great. Definitely a place that I would stay at again. Bwp us the hest
This hotel was BY FAR the best place we have stayed on our 2 week trip starting on the east coast all the way to southern Texas. Breakfast had a huge selection of food that was ACTUALLY good! Beds where comfortable, service was great, towels are so nice we just got online and bought some for our home! Our family was catered to add though we where in a super pricey luxury place. Best Western the Medellin family thanks you for treating us as part of your family!!
Service was great, amenities are excellent, professional staff, clean and straight, will likely use them again for my next stay, location is perfect for me, breakfast was good and they were checking to make sure not to run out of stuff.
We selected this brand due to them being dog friendly. Their dog relief area didn't have bags and had poop everywhere. The room was nice and pretty clean but the hallway needed vacuumed so bad. The front desk staff was very nice and fast checking us in but I'm not 100% sure that if I was in the area again that I'd choose this hotel.
We stayed here one night and found the staff and motel to be great. Room was clean, breakfast was good and fitness room was nice. They had just filled the pool, so it was cold, but very nice. We ate dinner at Mariachi's ( next store) and it was superb. I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay!
Stopping in Lonoke, Ar. on our trip back to Oklahoma City, OK., we were tired of traveling and just drove in no reservation. We were greeted with a friendly staff member. check in was quick easy and the room just around the corner down the hall. Need extra towels, no problems. They pointed out if we need to do laundry and the other areas we might need. Very clean room, and it was a quiet place to rest. Very enjoyable stay. Excellent breakfast for me the next morning. Easy check out and we were on our way home. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay relaxing and comfortable.
Stayed here on our way to a Dallas. Pretty disappointed with the property (smelled like urine in the hall). Free breakfast was very unappetizing, sausage was gray...won't be back. Not much to eat around the hotel. Waffle House (yuck) and Burger King. Walmart about 1/2 mile away.
A very good place to stay east part of Little Rock. Personable employees, clean room and facilities. We'll stay here again when we travel through this area. Breakfast items were less than expected but sufficient.
This is a very nice best western. It is right off the freeway and close to conveniences. It is quiet, comfortable and clean. Great and helpful staff. I left my earrings. Before I missed them, the staff found them and called to send them to me. arkansas at its best.
A very nice place to stay. a little older than some Best Westerns but very clean and the bed was wonderful. The front desk was very hellpful and the internet was working well. Would stay here again any time we are in the area.
great family running the place, felt very welcomed and greeted well, area bigger than it looked, great comfortable room and quick check out, this is a plus of pluses, stay here and you will be happy and sleep well
Welcoming place to stay....be sure and join their rewards program so you can get $10 off your next stays. Breakfast was cheese omelets, sausage, waffles (you make) with great toppings, and several continental items to choose from. So the Plus....that's plus fitness center, pool, and breakfast. Good fast place to stay off the interstate...no bar FYI.
Having stayed at this property in the past , like the location . Decent rate. Bed ok. Breakfast could be improved. But would stay again. Several hotels at this exit, but prefer this one and a Best Western member, The TV would be nicer if it was high definition and more clearer.
My family stayed here for one night to attend a funeral. We checked in & got on the elevator which sounded like it was going to fall apart...we got in late & went straight to bed...upon waking the next morning, we found hair everywhere in the bathtub! There was a huge gap in the door where it didn't connect all the way when closed, which allowed for a lot of light from the hall to enter the room while we were trying to sleep. The heating unit didn't warm the room like it should, not to mention that it was 60 degrees in the room when we checked in...not very comfortable when coming in out of 20 degree weather. After checking out, about half way home, we realized my daughter left her memory foam pillow in the hotel room. We immediately called to let them know & we were told it was nowhere to be found. This pillow could not have been mistaken for theirs as the pillow case was gray flannel with dogs on it...after a few days, we call back to ask if it had been found & again was told “no & we are not responsible for items left behind”. So basically, if you leave something there, it becomes the property of whoever finds it! I would strongly recommend that you go next door to the Hampton!
What a find this hotel was. We were hoping to get on the other side of little Rock and happened upon this hotel. It was great! The location was convenient. It had a pool for the kids and a very comfortable room. The breakfast was great and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.
This hotel is just outside of Little Rock. It should not be considered a "plus" hotel. Unfortunately, there is not much surrounding the hotel as far as eating establishments. We had to wait to check in as the clerk was away from the desk. The room was okay but there were very few television stations and some of them were a bit fuzzy. The breakfast was hotel standard fare: eggs, omelets, sausage, biscuits, toast, and a few pastries.
The staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfy and clean. The hot breakfast was a little less than we expected but still worth the price. Good parking and close to the highway and a few stores
My family and I stayed here based on others who had reviewed this hotel. Although it was convenient to the interstate and the check in was quick, it was not a great experience. No bottled water was given or even available to purchase. The ice machine was broke and the breakfast in the morning was cold before 8 a.m.....even the coffee! The room was clean but dated. The cable TV was fuzzy and the walls are very thin so it was loud. I won't be staying here again
We enjoyed our stay and the beds were so comfy! the breakfast bar had a good selection and we had fun splashing around in the heated pool as well. the rooms had everything we needed plus extras. good!
We had a good time, great sleep, good food, easy location. We plan to use this hotel again when we make another round trip to Pennsylvania for family business/pleasure. We always feel like family here.
While the hotel was updated and my room was very clean. The walls are thin and all you could hear were doors closing and people talking in the next room. As I said the room was clean and updated the toilet didn't flush and it smelled like a musty old basement in the room.
No Hot water in the shower Cobb Web in the corner of the room with little spiders. I had to buy air fresher for the room because the front desk didn't have anything to fresh up my room told the maid about the cob web she say okay but when I return to my room the spider and web was still there. The front Desk and the lady working the breakfast was nice and very helpful
Best thing I can sat is receptionist was nice. Hotel rooms had an awful odor. Nauseatingly so. Sprayed room spray and perfume but nothing helped get rid of the odor. Only stopped for a night halfway to home and would have left except my husband needed sleep. The first room we were given had hair and pee stains on the beds. Nasty. The room smelled really bad too. The next room we were given smelled worse but the beds were cleaner. I had a blanket with me and covered the bed with it before I laid down. The curtains we off the rod I. Several places and the hem was out about half way around. The air conditioner and bathroom fan were very noisy. I slept on my blanket for a couple of hours then got up and dressed. Didn't even want to use the shower. We left before breakfast and went to the McDonald's next door. Couldn't even think about eating at the hotel after smelling that awful odor all night. My husband tried to heat something in the microwave but it started smoking and smelled like electrical fire was going to start. Coffee pot in room had no pot. The coffee from dining area was cold. There was nothing good to say about this hotel. Do not stay there,!! It would not let me rate service, cleanliness, etc. service was ok. Filthy, smelly place to stay
There was an odor that was really bad....smelled it as soon as you came through the door. It was a medicinal/cleaning smell....but not pleasant at all. We had 4 rooms and went straight to Walmart to find something to cover it up. Only one girl working on a Saturday night and she was doing her best to accommodate everyone but it was too much for one person.....I really felt sorry for her.
We had a great night stay with comfortable beds, the staff were friendly. And our room was clean and fresh. The pool was a refreshing end to the long day of travel. And the hot breakfast was a good start to the day!
My husband and I stopped here after driving 600 miles and were tired, hoping for a comfortable bed and pleasant stay. We were not given either. In fact, I don't believe this hotel meets the "Plus" rating of Best Western at all from the hotels where we have stayed in past years. The ice machine was broken on the first floor, the pool was broken. The bed was hard and the whole hotel smelled stale. Also, there are no restaurants nearby except the Waffle House. Virtually no places to eat--anywhere. So, bring your own food or snacks with you! Best thing I can say is that we didn't sleep on the street or in our car. It certainly did not meet our expectations at all!
Stayed here June 24 checked out the 25 . Was not a best Western plus. Should be rated less . Ice machine on the first floor was out so I walked to the 2nd floor like the sign said and only got two cubes out of the machine. The pool was out of order too. Breakfast was only 6 AM to 9 AM this should be longer . The sheets felt itchy .The room had a slight odor.
Stayed here on my way to Arizona with my two children. I had no problems checking in. My children rushed to the indoor pool, where it was extremely humid, and the water was murky. The room itself was nice. Breakfast began at 6am, and at 6:30, there was nothing available to eat except for waffles. They had one person setting up breakfast and checking people out. I was disappointed that I had no meal choices. We had our waffle and hurried on our way.
There is no Plus in Best Western here in Lonoke , AR on 102 Dee Dee Lane. We stopped & got a room on 6/22/18. First there was No Parking but finally someone left & we got in their space at 10:30 pm. Then there was no luggage racks. We get to our room. It ok, pretty norm until we tried to use the TV. All channels was snowy & wavy , plus my wife is legally deaf & we were unable to get the closed captioning on even though the remote had closed caption button on it. We called front desk & they said can't help you. Only had two ice machine. One was Broke & the other completely out of ice. Then when we took our showers the water sprayed sideway & even with curtains it flood the entire bathroom floor. Anyway , we left ASAP the next morning almost at a run. Oh forgot still no luggage racks the next morning. When we left the back security door was propped open with a rug. Not very secure & anybody could come in. We will never stay here again. Kerry
Clean enough. Price was okay. Breakfast was lacking...we ate early on a Saturday and lots of things were out. Eggs were dried out. Coffee was good. The whole place smelled a little odd. Smoke free property, so that was nice. The bedding at most Best Westerns drives me crazy! The pillows are ridiculously small, but the worst thing is how they make the bed where the comforter doesn't cover your shoulders unless you either scrunch way down in the bed (which leaves no leg room) or untuck the comforter from the bottom of the bed and re-make it (which is a pain)! Why can't they just make the bed properly?!!
My needs when traveling include a clean comfortable room, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast and a reasonable rate. This Best Western meets those needs. It is located near I-40, but is quiet. There is a pool and workout room. I discovered it on a trip west and chose to stay again on the return home. If you like mexican food be sure to check out the Mariachi restaurant next door. Nick's Bar B Q (which also has great catfish and burgers) is the next exit on I-40.
Room was nice had slight odor but nothing major and I think someone had spilled some perfume also. Bed was very comfortable. Morning breakfast was great. And thanks for having the easy clean remotes. It was a good stay.
Friendly and helpful staff, plenty of parking and an area for pets to run in rear of property. Restaurants and a Walmart within walking distance. The room and hotel look to be recently updated, with modern deco and amenities, very nice for the price.
Great stay. Staff was very friendly upon arrival. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was quiet throughout our stay which was very good. We didn't use the pool or fitness room but they looked good. Breakfast was very good - a variety of hot foods like sausage, eggs, waffles (even with sugar free syrup), and cold foods like cereal, yogurt, pastries, breads, etc. It was a really good experience so my husband and I booked the hotel again. We stayed twice, once in Dec 2017 and then in Jan 2018 as we were travelling back and forth across the country. Both stays were great - no complaints/
It is clean and quite. Plenty of safe parking. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and everything worked as should. The beds were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the breakfast area was very clean. Very easy to get to from the interstate.
We took a spur of the moment trip to visit friends in Lonoke Arkansas and chose Best Western because they were pet friendly. The room was well furnished and clean. The staff was very helpful and curteous. They provided a nice breakfast with waffles, Danish, eggs, biscuits and gravy and sausage and cereal. We felt very safe and comfortable there and will definitely be returning!
the people here went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable we had a situation were a transport truck was parked off the property but running his reefer I mentioned it to the front staff and she talked to the driver who moved his truck with no problems at all thanks to everyone at this motel thank you all so much and for all the help I received, from everyone including the use of things I didn't have
The beds were the most comfortable beds we have slept in in a long time. The rooms were clean. Cons: - the room smelled like cigarettes - breakfast room is tiny (4 tables) - very limited breakfast selection - no lids for to go coffee
A pleasant stop on the way home. Very clean room and pleasant staff trying very hard to please. Special breakfast well prepared and presented. The area has only fast food joints close by, but the Subway nearby had a lady who made salads like your Mom.
But, I forgot our swimming suits hanging in the bathtub to drip dry and left without them. My suit was from Dilliards and cost well over $100, husbands just a regular suit. I called the hotel the afternoon we checked out, no had turned in a suit, I described it and left phone number. I have called the last 3 days inquiring, no one, not even the lady who cleaned the room has found a green/blue/black bottom halter top suit. I stayed at a hotel in San Diego and then went on cruise to Canada, left a drawer full of sweaters and slacks, they shipped them to my house all accounted for, none missing. Don't leave anything behind, hotel is not responsible and it says it on paper you sign.
Enjoyed our stay here. Only stayed one night as passing through town but check in and out were quick and painless. Staff professional. Breakfast okay, average for night with buffet breakfast included.
Friendly people. Comfortable decor and attractive breakfast bar. Love that dog is welcome at BEst Western motels!! Travel with small behaved dog. She has traveled by car and airplane over 200000 miles. Tried other motels but unhappy with their cleanliness. I am a loyal customer!!!
The room and decor are nice. Room was clean. The thing that keeps me returning to this hotel is the staff. Some of them have been here for years, and they always remember me. But, even the newer people are very friendly. The breakfast attendant is very engaging in conversation, and she almost makes you feel like you are in a "service" restaurant, rather than buffet style breakfast bar. I have never had an issue here that was not immediately resolved by the girls at the desk. To me, it is worth the money I spent & I will keep returning.
Everything was good about this place. Check-in service was friendly and fast. The room was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were soft. Wifi was fast. It was quiet. Breakfast was good. Check-out was a breeze. Easy on and off access to I-40.
We frequently stay at this motel and we have never been disappointed. The staff is excellent - friendly, helpful and ready to be of assistance. I would recommend this Best Western Plus to anyone going through or staying in Lonoke, Arkansas.
Customer Service is Priority No. 1 at this property. The new management was clearly in control of their facility and personnel. The property was extremely clean and lighting in the parking lot was good. Breakfast was plentiful, hot, and ready on time. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and I will stay here again when I come to the Lonoke area.
We stopped over for the night-checked in at 9pm and left at 5am. The front desk staff was very friendly, the room was clean, noise wasn't an issue, and the bed was very comfortable. We have it on our list to stay at again.
The rooms are clean and nice and the hotel staff go over and above to make sure you are comfortable. Great price also. The location is great, easy on and off the freeway. Convenient to Wal-Mart. Great!
Our room was spacious and fairly clean. The bathroom floor could have had a better cleaning, there was hair on it. The bed was comfortable. Our biggest complaint was that when we went down for breakfast there was no breakfast. The room was dark, chairs up on the tables, no one present. We went to the front desk, no one there, a bell that didn't ring. When we spoke loudly a manager came out, checked to make sure there was nothing out, and went back behind the wall calling out she would set something up. We did not have time to wait so went to the McDonald's across the street. We were not the only ones looking for breakfast. Seems like the manager should have known there was a problem and taken care of it instead of being so surprised.
The staff were very kind and accommodating. The room was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. Our breakfast was hot and the coffee was delicious. The property was kept up nicely on the outside as well as the decor on the inside.
Our family had been traveling most of the day. We stopped for an overnight rest. The hotel was clean. Check in was easy and fast. The room was very spacious, and clean. The shower had great water pressure as well. The bed was so comfortable!! Breakfast was very good the selection was great. There is a new manager there now, Tyler, he went out of his way to answer a question that I had asked the front desk lady and she did not know. He came to the desk even on his day off to give me the answer. That was a refreshing change that made me feel like I was special, and important to them. Thank you for an amazing stay. We were refreshed to finish our trip.
This Best Western is very good. The rooms were well appointed and clean, everything worked. Staff was helpful, courteous and professional looking after all our needs. Well located with lots of restaurants nearby.
We were very satisfied with the place. Check in experience was very welcoming. We felt the rate, although we had enough points to get a free night, was on the high side but that seems to be everywhere. Disappointed that the military rate isn't as good as other discounts. We told Jennifer at check in she makes us feel that we would stay here again.
From the time we checked in we felt it was wrong. Manager on duty was unkempt and seemed a bit like she couldn't care less about anything. Upon entering our room, my wife turned down the bed. Sheets were very wrinkled. Human hairs present. Debris present on the sheets. I noticed the pillows were very wrinkled too and had been fluffed but not changed. We called down and got another room. Walking into the second room about knocked us out. Smelled skunky like old Corona beer. There was no smell of clean to be detected. The toilette wasn't clean. One pillow had a mascara smudge on it. The sheets were wrinkled as if they had been slept in. My wife and I had been driving for 6 hours and were ready to crash. We did not need this experience. We checked out and stayed at the Hamilton just about 50 yards away. Someone needs to get some new staff in that place. It also needs some renovation - it's old and wearing out.
traveling cross county stayed in several best western hotels and this was just ok maybe the other spoiled us. Breakfast fair bed was comfortable had an issue with key and lock we did eventually get a new room after the staff tried to fix the problem after driving 11 hours we just wanted to get settled not wait for repairs+
Clean, comfortable and in the middle of nowhere but there was an excellent Mexican restaurant next door. Would stay again if in this area. Not a tourist mecca but a small town where people were friendly and helpful.
we had a 2 queen room,it was nice and roomy and clean.the employees were very nice and gave us free razors and shaving cream because i had forgotten mine.great indoor pool and good breakfast.would stay here again.
Nice hotel, clean room and bath, the bed was comfortable.. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of food. Staff was helpful in suggesting restaurants for dinner. We will stay here again when we are passing through.
We love this hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. They always treat us like friends. Great hot breakfast. Comfy beds. Conveniently located for our weekly trip. We always try to stay here on our way through.
We absolutely enjoyed the best breakfast we have ever eaten at any Best Western Hotel, the kitchen staff was most helpful. The check in staff was most accommodating in our request to stay on the ground floor.
I booked thru priceline and received a decent price even with the added dog fee. (Which is not cool, but my choice to stay here). Check in was fine, nice lady. The room smelled nasty of smoke and mildew. Bathroom was not clean, water was still in tub, pee on toilet and toilet paper not flushed. Disappointing after a long day on the road. Called the front desk, they changed my room. 2nd room did not smell, but had the same problem with the bathroom (makes no sense). They also had painted and not removed the plastic around the a/c unit. Not a big deal, but seems they should be following thru on making their rooms ready. I removed after checking with the front desk to be sure it was just painting remnants. Had biscuits and gravy for breakfast, which was good.
everything but breakfast was good., the location was ok, they really need to improve the breakfast, the lobby smelled like B.O. the Jacuzzi was nice though, pool was adequate would have been better if less expensive
Had a last minute request from work in Lonoke and saw Best Western on trip advisor and decided to take a chance. Book room by phone and with corporate rate it was $85 a night, which seemed a bit high for a best western, but needing to be in town by 7am I decided to risk it. Was checked in by the general mgr easily enough and the downstairs area appeared to be OK so I figured I may have gotten lucky. As soon as I got off of the elevator on the 2nd floor I was immediately struck by the musty smell in the hallway. It was pretty over powering, buy as I had no other accommodation lined up I went on to the room. Opened the room and was extremely greatful that the musty smell did not encroach into my room. The room was pretty good with a king bed, couch, table, and flat screen tv. Bed was comfortable, room appeared to be well cleaned, my only big complaint was the curtain above the ac. It sticks out above the ac unit & the fan catches it causing the curtain to billow out and catch all of the ac. I ended up putting the round bed pillow behind the ac to hold the curtain down which seemed to fix the issue. Tuesday morning when I got up there was no hot water, ended up taking a cold shower to be at work at 6am. Wednesday morning the hot water was back working, but the WiFi would no longer accept my room code. There are a very limited number of restaurants in the direct area to chose from and if you usually Uber like I do the wait seems to be roughly 30 min to go anywhere. Knowing what I now know, when I return I will stay in North little Rock and drive the extra 10 min in the morning and skip Lonoke and the best western.
I will start with the good for the hotel: Location was great for us and the lady who checked us in was friendly. The room appeared to be clean and was fairly spacious. The breakfast was good and seemed to be fresh. But with all of this, one had thing can ruin it all. While taking a shower, I started seeing ants in the shower. When I got out, there were ants on the dresser and counter tops. I ended up with a few ant bites!!! Got home and my luggage had more ants in it and all of the clothes that I had. I called to let them know and they were aware of the ant issue but it had not been resolved. If not for the ants, I would have given a LOT higher rating!!!
Two things we didn't like: the smell of the hotel and the quality of the breakfast items. The staff was super kind to us and I felt safe there even though it's next to a gas station. I noticed they've tried updating the hotel however it does still smell like a senior-living place which was bothersome. The AC unit needs either replacing or repair because it was taking in too much outside air which made our room extremely humid.
Clean, quite, spacious rooms. Older building but fairly well maintained. Service was good and staff was friendly.?. Breakfast was cool and good selection. I would have given four stars if no for the rust ground the toilet.
Heat and A/C system was not working properly, room was dirty. Employees was not friendly. When told of the problems their response was "sorry about that, have a nice day" Will not stay at this hotel or refer them to anyone. VERY unhappy with this hotel.
The hotel was easy to locate. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable and the bed was amazing. We were only passing through for one night but I would recommend this hotel for an extended stay.
Nice BW Plus. Breakfast was good but the breakfast room was small and there was no place for us to sit when we came down. The lady refilling the supplies was nice enough to open the adjacent conference room so we had some place to sit. The carpet in our room felt sticky so I made sure to not walk barefoot on it, but the bed was clean and comfortable. The lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim, but everything worked. AC was cold. Room smell a bit musty when we first arrived, but once the AC got going, I didn't notice it anymore. The employees were all very nice, so overall, it was a good stay.
I stay primarily in Best Western hotels. Never again for this one though. The first room we were given, the bed and sheets were wet. The next room had ants. We didn't tell them about the ants because we were exhausted. The "hot" breakfast had cold biscuits with pasty gravy. Cold scrambled eggs. The only good thing I can say about this place was Jennifer who worked evenings, was very helpful.
We like to get thru big cities when traveling so we don't have morning traffic the next day. Saw Lonoke on the map and that it had several major motels. Decided to try Best Western despite mixed reviews. It was just fine! We don't do around looking for minor issues and there weren't any! Clean throughout. No smells or odors as mentioned by previous reviewers. Big room with 2 Queen beds. Comfortable mattresses, lots of pillows. Very quiet. There ARE hair dryers-hanging in bag on back of bathroom door. Lots of hot water for shower, and a non-skid tub with grab bar. Breakfast was adequate (if you want gourmet, go to a restaurant or stay at a $200 night motel)! Coffee, juices, breads, rolls, bagels, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy and selection of fresh fruit. The pool looked lovely (indoor, heated) but was too tired to swim. And our room bath towels would have been ok for the pool. Don't hesitate to stay here. Oh, for great local food, take 31 south about 1-2 miles to Pruitts for some amazing fried catfish, home cooking and pies, and then head south another 4 blocks to Tidwell's Dairy store for great ice cream/custard. Friendly people, made our stay!
The refrigerator didn't work at all. The room smelled musty. I was too tired to care but when I went to bed, I saw a couple of ants on the bedside table. All throughout the night, I battled ants in the bed. The bed itself would have been comfortable if not for that. I will never stay in a Best Western again.
Avoid if you don't like dealing with really musty/stinky rooms. We complained to the desk when we checked in and the room they moved us to was no better -- seems a general problem with this hotel! At check out the manager avoided me, so no chance to try to offer a fix.
Had a reunion in Helena Arkansas and the hotels there have been pretty "iffy". Stayed here and loved it. Booked the extra large room with the king bed and sofa. Clean, comfortable room and friendly staff! Huge 50 inch flat screen tv made my husband delirious!
This was a good value for the price. We priced out the other hotels in that area and Best Western Preferred was $30-$70 cheaper per night for a good quality stay and breakfast. This was great for basic needs of a hotel.
No hairdryer and room was damp and had odor of "wet dog"...suggest making only certain rooms pet friendly and offer choice to early arrivals...also let parents know there is a " minimal noise" restriction after 7pm...
Clean and comfortable room with friendly staff. Good value. Would recommend staying there to anyone in the Little Rock area. It is easily accessible to a major highway. Walking distance to a good restaurant.
Great rooms and service for the price. Breakfast and rooms are well prepared and displayed. Everything you'd want in a trip just passing through. Can't ask for any better from Staff, Location and Hotel. It does have a business room where you can wi-fi and conduct business as well as a Printer. Nice accommodations for the health nut needing to exercise. The pool is indoors and well kept.
Very clean. Nice pool that was clean. Room was clean and has been recently remodeled Bed was comfortable! Air conditioning was quite. Nice breakfast but it should be opened until 9:30 on weekends. Otherwise good stay!!
Excellent hotel! Easy location - decided to stop here as we were passing through on I-40 (opted for Lonoke, after reading some unfavorable reviews about Little Rock areas). Indoor pool - thumbs up! Staff - thumbs up! Cleanliness/comfortableness of room - thumbs up! Continental breakfast spread - HUGE THUMBS UP! Highly recommended.
This Best Western was okay, but I don't know how the Plus designation is determined. The room was very small and left very little floor area around the king bed. Lighting was almost non existent in the room as well as in the bathroom...very dim and shadowy to try to see what is in our suitcases or fix hair or makeup in bathroom. The wash basin water has been minimized with an insert to make a very weak spray like a public restroom, not possible to rinse face effectively. The staff seemed to have been at minimum and it was nearly impossible to find help when needed. Pool had no towels and staff could not be found to get some. The heated pool was pretty cold. There was no staff present at breakfast. The waffle iron was not plugged in and a family with children had to wait while I discovered it unplugged and plugged it in. The sausage patties were so hard and dry that they were not edible. They must have been recooked from the day before. The overall impression was of an older establishment, somewhat updated, but did not rate the BW Plus designation in my opinion. There was no air conditioning at all in the corridors, making it feel humid and muggy. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable enough (though the springs did seem somewhat worn). The most positive feature was the hand held shower for rinsing my very thick long hair. The room appeared clean. Access to the highway is convenient. We chose this inn for the chance to eat at the nearby Pruett's restaurant for their delicious catfish.
This is the place where the middle becomes accessible whenever a end around takes the first step in a long path for the entrance of a slumber sort of stay since a timing is of importance for the many ways of access.
On our way east we decided to pass through Little Rock and stay here. The property has a pleasing appearance and there is plenty of parking available. It has been highly rated on TA so we had no fear of getting disappointed. The staff was excellent. Rhonda, the front desk person was very friendly and professional. Our problem was the room we were given. It had a terrible odor, something like a "wet dog" smell. We turned on the AC and went down for more items to bring up to the room. When we got in the room the second time we still smelled the offensive odor. We went back to Rhonda, told her the problem and we were immediately given another room which smelled much better. Breakfast was an enjoyable experience with plenty of food items available. The dining area is sufficient to seat many guests and was kept clean at all times. The Wi-Fi was adequate in all areas of the hotel. The property overall is clean and well maintained but there is no guarantee that any particular room assigned will not have had pets in it prior to giving it to another guest. In our travels, it isn't unusual to see guests smuggling dogs into rooms without notifying the staff. Rhonda told us they try to keep the pets on the first floor but some people ignore the rules and sneak pets into rooms.
Great place to stay if travelling interstate 40. Convenient location. Easy access. Clean, comfortable room. Quiet -- could not hear the neighbors in next room. Staff was courteous and professional. Would stay here again.
We had a great stay at Best Western Lonoke... It exceeded our expectations...Our check in was quick... The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable... Check out was also quick... The only complaint I have is the Television was not working as well as to be expected... Thanks to the staff they were great...
This is a very nice motel. Room was clean and breakfast was good. If you are in a wheelchair, be sure to ask them if they have a walk-in shower. The handicap room had support bars, but no walk-in shower.
We would definitely stay in this hotel again. The quality and cleanliness suited the rate. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was sparking. Hats off the the cleaning staff for showing pride in their work!
we just drive for fun to different route and finally we find this place seems to be reasonable stay so we did. we did enjoy. and let the front desk know about my concern they took care of it quickly. they did good job.
Not as good as other Best Westerns we've stayed as recently but it was OK for one night. And only restaurant nearby was a not-too-great Mexican. But it was conveniently located for our travel and easy on and off the interstate.
The room was clean and very comfortable. We were 4 days into a cross country road trip from out west. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast area was spotless.
Room, the bed, the shower are great. Everything worked. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast of scrambled eggs and sausage one of the best I have had in a hotel that provides breakfast. All for a very reasonable price. It is the sort of place that just makes traveling better.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Its an old property, and I cannot see how it is rated a "Plus". For example, the breakfast was terrible, the coffee cold, the eggs/saugage runny/greasy. They still use the old type soap bar. Walls/ceiling very thin. Noisy all night. I would rate this hotel a "Minus." vs a "Plus." Will not ever stay their again.
Hotel was out of the way Front desk was friendly Breakfast person was not helpful & no smiles Cold coffee & out of almost everything by 7:30 am Rooms where clean & comfy Wish there where more amenities close by Thank you
My husband & I spent one night here on our way to Nashville from Galveston. We couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel room was spotless, the staff courteous, the beds comfortable & the breakfast better than most.
Checked trip advisor reviews, so stopped here to get out of Little Rock morning traffic. Nice motel, decent beds. Not much in offering for eating if wanting to walk. Ok rates for small town. Would stay again.
Clean and well maintained and excellent staff. We were very happy with everything during our stay. Price of room was reasonable and very good considering the quality of the service. We will stay at this motel in the future.
Best Western in Lonoke was clean and fresh. Desk staff was professional but friendly and helpful. This is a short distance out of Little Rock and therefore gets you beyond the morning traffic on your way East.
After reading the reviews, my husband and I decided to give this place a try while traveling on I-40. Room is clean, affordable and bed comfortable; friendly front desk staff. All made for a nice stop on a long journey!
This hotel was clean with modern decor and all interactions with staff were pleasant. My husband and two preschool aged children stayed for two nights while attending my sisters wedding. All of our needs were met and would recommend a stay to anyone. My oldest and I attempted a dip in the indoor pool and it was a little cold for my taste but didn't seem to phase the five year old. Always a nice feature with kiddos.
For the price, this hotel was a great deal. I had several choices at that particular exit on I-40 but decided to give this BW Plus my business. It looks to be a newer hotel with clean, pleasant exterior. Plenty of parking and welcoming desk staff. The room was large and nicely furnished with chair, ottoman, king bed, mini fridge, microwave. The bed was super comfortable. I would have liked slightly higher wattage light bulbs in the bedside lamps, however. The otherwise crisp white coverlet had what appeared to be old stains on it which weren't apparent in daylight but appeared under the artificial light of the lamps once the room got dark. Otherwise, the sheets themselves were clean and white and well fitting and didn't bunch up. Hooray for this hotel using fitted bottom sheets, something the higher end hotels just can't bring themselves to do. The bathroom was clean and spacious with plenty of towels. The only problem I had was that there was no hot water at 5:30 AM. I had to get on the road very early and when I turned on the tub faucet I could not get hot water, no matter how long I let it run. Same for the sink. I ended up washing up at the sink using cold water and a face cloth. Otherwise, a good stay, gas station and a fast food restaurant conveniently next door. Good internet connection.
What a relief, after 12 hours of driving, to find a clean and inviting Best Western with a welcoming lady at the front desk. All was clean and comfortable. A nice hot shower, clean linens, comfortable bed and we were asleep in minutes - well a granddaughter spent some time on the internet, but....
Nice clean and comfortable room and property. After driving 10 hours today, the neighborhood felt safe enough to take a 45 minute outside walk around the area. I'd like to mention Leslie (front desk). She was so helpful ( making a fresh pot of coffee) and recommending a local restaurant. She didn't steer me wrong. Leslie had extra time for every guest that inquired about anything. I would make one suggestion: have additional parking area for vehicles towing RVs and/or trailers. The neighbouring motels do have this available amenity.
It was late at night and I was getting sleepy. I was looking for a hotel with higher star ratings but had to sleep. The location was easy to get to. The staff was friendly. When I got to my rom I was surprised. It looked brand new. Very clean and was equal to a much more expensive hotel in quality at half the price. You won't likely be disappointed.
It was a great place=welcoming, helpful, personable staff, --location easily found, looks fairly new- rooms was clean,& nice--great value-plus I'm a Best Western rewards member! stayed for only for one night - I would recommend if you are in the area.
Room easily accessible to interstate, nice and clean facilities and great free breakfast! Really good service at the front desk and very helpful. It was a pleasant place to stay on our way to the 'west'!
We stay at this hotel every time we go to this area, every couple of years. We keep going back because the beds are very comfortable, it's always clean and quiet, the staff is great and the breakfast is good.
We stopped on our way to Nashville . Location was great a lot of places to eat. The room was good size but the furniture had not been cleaned there was dried white fluid all over the front of ottoman and dark stain on chair. There were some stains on sheets too. The food was ok.
Everything was clean - from front desk, room and bath. Front desk personnel was very pleasant and helpful. Just off the Interstate, but quiet. For traveling through, everything we needed was very close - food, gas, and stores.
Really enjoy staying here. Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast (she goes out of her way to make sure we are happy), comfy beds. We travel through here every week and stay here as often as possible.
Located right at the I-30 interchange. Reasonable rate. Well lit corridors. Good clean rooms with good air conditioning. Large flat-screen TV. Updated bathroom with excellent shower. Good breakfast -- eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. -- and local restaurants nearby. Elevator. Indoor pool, workout room and coin laundry. Ample parking. Good value for your money.
We recently spent 1 night here because they were one of the few hotels that still accept our 4 legged children with a small fee on our travel route. The hotel was clean and quiet but the carpet was really moist. I couldn't tell if the carpet had been recently cleaned or the air conditioner wasn't keeping up with the humidity. We kept our shoes on and hit the road before 6
We chose this hotel because we had hotel points to use from previous Best Western stays and are generally happy with the Best Western Plus hotels but this one was less than what we had expected. The bathtub was not clean (had hair in it) and the A/C unit was not working properly and made a loud noise all night and the closet door magnet that was supposed to keep the door closed was held on by a 3-4 inch strip of blue painter's tape. On a positive note, the carpet and bed spread looked new and very nice but the rest of the hotel really needed taking care of. Just didn't seem to attain that "Plus" rating.
We stayed at this hotel for one night on our way back to Illinois from Houston. The hotel was clean & our bed was comfortable. The TV did not have a great picture on some channels, which was odd because the hotel is in a town just north of Little Rock. I got up at 5:00 in the morning to take a shower. Despite letting the water run for a very long time we had no hot water. So we packed up & loaded our van intending to shower when we got home. When I notified an employee about our water situation she apologized & said she'd get some hot water coming our way. Really?! Our room was at the end of the hall. My mother-in-law's room was closer to the lobby & she did have hot water. While this hotel was clean, not automatically having hot water is a deal breaker for me. We will not stay here again.
Last night out on a stressful week long trip. Found the most peaceful Best Western I've stayed at - ever. No traffic noise (though I-40 was a quarter mile away), room temperature perfect, no "noise seepage" from hall or other rooms. Just a clean, quiet, comfortable night's rest.
I stayed here on my way to the east coast from Texas. I have two dogs, around 40lbs each. There was a $16 pet deposit which was refunded at the end of the stay. I sometimes worry about pet hotels being a bit "drab", (I don't travel with the dogs often) however this hotel was a pleasure for all of us to stay in. I want to rave, specifically, about the staff. They all were absolutely wonderful. The concierge I booked the room with earlier in the week was a pleasure to work with. He helped me get the best rates and was super sweet. He even put us next to a side door for added convenience when taking the dogs outside. We ended up arriving a little after midnight & when we arrived, the ladies at the front desk were very cheery and made us (including the dogs) feel welcome. The room was great as well. The lady working at breakfast the next morning was lovely and kept the area very clean. We all know how messy some people can be when it comes to hotels...and the area was spotless. Overall, it was a great stay and I will definitely be staying here with the dogs again the next time I make the trip to Texas.
We had booked this room because we had planned to attend a class in nearby England, Arkansas; the class was cancelled, so I checked my confirmation email to cancel the reservation. What I had missed when booking was that I had (for the first time) booked not through Tripadvisor, but a company called Agoda. Their policy is that unless you cancel prior to 3 days in advance, you will still be charged for a 1 night stay. I missed this little detail when originally booking the room. All I can say is: DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH AGODA! The rep who answered my call claimed it was Best Western's policy that the reservation had to be cancelled 3 days prior; I know that is a lie, because we have stayed at Best Western hotels all over the country, many many times. She called them, and at the same time, so did my husband. The manager said he had just gotten off the phone with her, and that it was NOT their policy, they had not charged our credit card. We checked with Visa; the charge had been made from an off-shore company (Agoda). After over 40 minutes of the rep explaining the same thing over and over, we finally got her to check with a manager (they wouldn't talk with us directly) and got our charge refunded. The rep said that Agoda was a "sister company" of Tripadvisor. All I know is that I will be MUCH more careful when booking rooms in the future, and may not book through Tripadvisor again. Again, the Best Western manager was great, friendly, and even let us know that the price Agoda tried to charge us was more than we would have paid had we booked directly with him. I'm sure the hotel is lovely; we will most likely find out for ourselves in the future.
Great hotel. The staff is very friendly. The room was clean and updated. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was great, could use some hard boiled eggs though. Second time staying at this hotel and it has not disappointed either times.
We like this place. The rooms are clean and in good condition. The people working the front desk are always nice and very helpful. This place is easy to get to right off of the interstate. There are several restaurants close by so you don't have to be hungry.
We got to the hotel around 9pm and left by 8am the next day but the hotel was clean and quiet. The front desk staff was very nice and pleasant. The breakfast that's included had something for everyone - eggs, Bengals, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea and assorted juices. We didn't stay a long time but our first impression was great.
Best Western Plus is really nice and clean! Bed is comfortable, and decor is updated. The staff were accomodating. This hotel is easily accessible from the interstate. There are fast food places nearby.
Very Pleasant room, very comfortable bed, updated decor & linens. We slept like a log. Good hot or cold breakfast, convenient location, convenient for restaurants & gas stations close by. We will stop there again on our way to Tulsa to visit family.
Very friendly staff and great value for the price. Perfect overnight stopping point on our long trip capped off with a swim in their very clean indoor pool. We will most definitely be staying there again in the future!
Nice place to stay. We were upgraded to a suite, which was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The location was good - just right off the freeway. Service was good and staff friendly. What more can we say??
We made the reservation while on the road and were very pleased with the lobby personnel, the room and the breakfast. We have expectations about Best Western and were not disappointed. It was clean and comfortable and the people were friendly. Thank you, Best Western.
All staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful. The area was safe, the hotel was clean, and everything was perfect! Breakfast was super tasty! I hope to be able to stop here again sometime!!!!
The desk staff is friendly and was able to accommodate my request for a end room after guests on each side of me was loud. The room was clean, everything was in working order. The breakfast was okay, they serve scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, sausage gravy, cereal, fruit, the usual
No complaints about this location at all! Everyone was very nice at both check-in and check-out. The room was extremely clean. It has a real nice indoor pool and fitness room. Good coffee at this location and a good selection of breakfast items.
The internet rate was lower but I received the lower rate when I asked, plus my senior discount. Front desk person very nice, helpful and informative. We arrived late and had to leave early so didn't get to use the exercise equipment or the heated pool. The king bed was perfect and no sag toward the middle. The room had a desk, recliner, microwave, and refrigerator. The bathroom was stunning with it's large granite top and all black accessories including the large black-framed mirror. The bathtub had a no-slip surface built into it. Breakfast was delicious. The hot foods were sausage, eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, waffles AND SUGAR FREE SYRUP. I am an insulin dependent diabetic and rarely find sugar free syrup. Thank you very much to the person who made that decision so I could enjoy a waffle. Clean, quiet, comfortable, like-new appearance, what more could you ask for?
The desk staff was helpful and gave online rate even though I arrived in person without reserving ahead because I mentioned that it was cheaper online and asked if I could get the better rate by walking outside and doing it via smartphone. The room information says there is a sundries/food store within the hotel, but there isn't. There is, however, a McDonald's with the newer Cafe items across the street - it's very easy to get to. The room was very nice, very clean, and the bed was especially comfortable. There is a pool and a fitness area. It's just off the interstate in a rural area before a small town. If you need items, there's a Walmart very close. The hot breakfast was plentiful - with belgian waffles, biscuits and sausage gravy. WiFi excellent.
A clean comfortable room, friendly staff ... very pleasant experience ... a gem on I-40 in Arkansas .. we were so pleased we stayed on the eastbound (return) trip too! Looks like more (food wise) may be coming to the surrounding area.
Stayed here on a cross country solo driving trip. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I was happy to find a small fitness center where I could use the treadmill for awhile after a long day of driving. I thought it was a touch expensive. For some reason i never got a receipt, although the previous night, also at a Best Western, the front desk person asked if I wanted my receipt under the door or emailed to me.
Checked in late (10:30), but was quick and pleasant. Room had a musty smell at first but went away. Room was clean. Dizzying carpet pattern and ugly hallway carpet. Bathroom fan needed cleaning. Nice tub surround! Room had micro/fridge. A/C had an air diffuser to keep from blowing up under the curtains. Good idea!! Hotel is easy on and off the interstate between and gas station and another hotel with McDonald's across the street.
Staff is outstanding, great location from the hustle and bustle. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable! Plenty of outlets scattered in the rooms for all your electronic needs, such powering your essentials, wifi is really good! Great price for the accommodation! Highly recommend!!!
Comfortable place to stay for the night while driving through Arkansas. Room was large and there were two comfortable queen beds. I always have to get rooms with free internet because of work and it worked great. That does not always happen. Breakfast was ok, however, I have had better at other Best Western's.
We were pleased with the quality and staff. We stayed at this hotel while traveling home from visiting family during the holidays and the lobby was beautifully decorated. We would recommend this hotel to travelers. We love Best Western!
Overall good experience with reasonable pricing. Great location with helpful staffing and decent breakfast. Clean and well attended to location. Seemed safe with easy access for traveling. Had a little computer issues with check-in but the front desk clerk was very nice.
Many areas of the I-40/I-30 route through Arkansas do not have the lodging accommodations that I desire. This Lanoke Best Western was super. When we checked in, the desk clerk offered us the option of a free room upgrade to a pillow-top bed. After a 6-hour tedious drive in the rain and fog, this was much appreciated. The staff lived up to my Southern hospitality expectation. The room and bath were large and super clean. Bedding was comfortable and I loved having a large bath vanity! We got the best restful sleep of any of our recent travel stays.
We were very happy with our stay at the Best Western hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was fresh and good and had a variety of items to choose from. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.
I stayed here on my way to and from Louisville, Ky. I had a dog and there was plenty of grass which was nice. Also a convenience store right in front of it. Very friendly service and a very clean & always felt safe walking my dog at night. The only problem was I was on the highway side and it was a little bit loud. I would for sure ask for a room on the opposite side of the highway. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay.
On Sept 16,2015 My Friend Kay and I pulled in to this hotel after driving for over 11 hours. The staff was wonderful. Asked for a room with two queen beds. The room was perfect clean nice. We slepted like babies. Nice hot shower. They told us to park the U haul they were very helpful the breakfast in the morning was super anything we wanted they had it . I would stay here again thanks for everything
Greeting was excellent, all hotel staff friendly. room was very nice, breakfast was one of the best at a hotel, for the price i could not believe the great service. One of the nicest hotels tostay at, even one of the nicest Best Westerns. All peeople very friendly, especialy the on i booked the room with. Highly recomend to anyone staying in the Little Rock area. thank you wll for the great experience.
Rooms were clean and quite. Can't beat the price. Included a nice breakfast. This is a great place to stop in if on a road trip and need to lay your head down for a good nights rest and not pay a fortune.
very clean and rooms and décor and amenities were great. I would recommend this to travelers. I was travelling alone, so I wanted a Hotel with inside doors. Staff was great in informing me of near by eating places and of those that delivered. Will definitely make this on my return trip.
The hotel looks very nice and modern but it took checking 3 different rooms before finding a nonsmoking room that didn't smell like smoke. The lady at the front desk was very helpful but when you are tired and just want to settle into your room for the evening having to go to several rooms is not appealing. The room we finally got was nice. It still had a smoke smell but much less than the others. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. Breakfast was OK. It was the usual hotel food.
With all the glowing reports of Best Western Plus, I decided on this place because of it's competitive rates. I'll go with the good first: Very friendly staff and check-in/out was easy and accurate. No problems with bill. The free breakfast is pretty standard for these places, but the waffle maker always makes my day. Internet was pretty good and easy to use. Room was clean and well situated and quiet. I liked the fact that there are some restaurants that will deliver to your room if you don't want to go out. The bad: The smell that greeted you when you entered the building was a little appalling, and I'm afraid it colored the rest of my experience with the the hotel. Very chilly and musty and a little more sticky humid than I was expecting. Even the room was excessively humid. I've been in hotels in extremely humid environments, and I felt that it could have been handled here a bit better. The shower handle was also a bit loose and inaccurate. So with all that, it gets an average rating from me.
This is one of the best hotels we've stayed in. The location is very easy to get to. The staff is very good. They recommended a Mexican restaurant nearby that was great. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
