the location of hotel is just amazing. service was also pretty good. to be honest this hotel was one of the best places to stay in my 7 days tour in georgia, and its not about the prices, I have payed much more in tbilisi but this one was way better. also wanted to say about transport. there are companies who are trying to take more than its costs so I tried to search the optimal and I find out the young guiding driver whos name was george. he made a tour with 7 stops while driving and we learned a lot about this country, By the way he suggested this hotel as one of the best solution for staying in gudauri and he was right, so I recommend him as well. here is his number. whatsapp +995 551 71 41 51

Hi everyone, I stayed at Best Western Gudauri this week. Let's review the property: 1. Hotel location: Very Good. Just on the road. Convenient 2. Property: Hotel is good at first impression but when you observe in detail, it seems like that the team there is just running Hotel in despair. Most of the doors are loose. You can see hinges and bolts coming out. No proper maintenance. 3. Service: very poor. I asked for iron but they said, they can't deliver as staff comes at 10am. No room assistance before that. I don't understand how a reputed international group like Best Western afford such staff. They were pretty rude. 4. Food: Please think that you are on a date and don't care if the food arrives after 45 minutes or more. Or better get it delivered to your room. However its not guaranteed when the food will be delivered. I had to wait for 15 min to place order. And after 30 min of placing order, they informed us that the food will be ready after another 30 min. They had opened a new Indian restaurant but the chef was not in mood to cook before 8pm. Very bad service. I have seen people sitting in restaurant for 20 min and no one came to take order. Conclusion: Stay at your own risk.

Though it is a 4 star hotel but the size of the bedroom was very small. There was hardly any space between the bed and the table that had the kettle and cups and could be used for multi-purposes. However, the bathroom was a decent sized one. Common to most of the Georgian hospitality sector, the person at reception was not very helpful or supportive. She never had a smile on her face during several of my interactions with her for various reasons. The hotel has a kettle in the room and supplies of tea/coffee/sugar but no milk/creamer. As I am not used to black tea or coffee, I enquired about it and was told they don't keep milk/creamer sachets. Luckily, the restaurant was supportive and gave me a glass of milk for no charge. The breakfast was average with only a silver lining for desi guys like me that they had a few Indian items like Kulcha with Chole and stuffed paratha with Rajma and Dal makhni respectively on the two days that we stayed there. The service was a bit slow as replenishment of the empty trays took time. My room did have a small balcony and a great view of the mountains all around.

Easy Check in, Check out, Friendly staff, tasty and fresh food, comfortable stay. Serene and beautiful locality in the middle of snow covered mountains in the month for April. Situated next to the Highway. Spacious rooms with all amenities. Additional heaters available upon request

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I never review hotels but if anyone is visiting with children to Gudauri I would not recommend. The safe were extremely rude and anything you asked seem like it was an inconvenience for them. They weren't helpful or friendly. The breakfast selection was terrible and when asking for a cappuccino the staff member said no because quote: if I make you a cappuccino I will need to make them for other guests too. The hotel restaurant didn't open til 2pm each day so getting food for our young children was difficult and again the food selection wasn't great, staff kept giving us half our order and then when asked if the other dishes are coming they simply said we didn't order it and then stormed off. Every other place we visited for food or to go for drinks was a lovely experience, friendly staff and great food. Highly recommend visiting Gudauri but don't recommend staying at the Best Western. It will ruin your holiday.

First, the good stuff. It's a nice, modern hotel. Feels 3.5*. Not fancy, but well built and a nice design aesthetic. Staff are excellent. Look, it's not 5*, but they are genuinely helpful and friendly - for example, they always answered whatsapp to book us a taxi, whatever time of day or night. But... location is not great for a ski hotel. First, it's not ski-in, ski-out. Second, there it literally nothing within walking distance. No shops. No cafes. Nothing. Nearest supermarket is a 30-minute walk. That's fine, so long as you are OK with isolation. I felt a bit claustrophobic. Overall, good hotel and good value. But I wouldn't go back because of the location.

We had 2 bookings with Expedia for 3 rooms at this hotel, but upon arrival, we were informed by the hotel staff that they have only received 1 booking from Expedia. Instead of throwing us out in the cold (like many other hotels would probably do), they did all the hard work for us by calling Expedia to solve this problem, which is of no fault of theirs. From our vast travel experience, we think most hotels would have expected us to call Expedia ourselves, to try and find out where our booking was. The General Manager, Ms Leena, was very efficient and professional in explaining the whole situation to us, and directed us to the restaurant to have our dinner, whilst she tried to sort out the problem. Despite the hotel being almost fully booked, she was kind enough to accommodate us in the only available rooms they have at that moment, although these are rooms of a higher standard than those originally booked by us. In addition to that, she also did not charge us for the dinner we had while waiting for the rooms to be ready for us. This is the highest customer service that can be attributed to any service-industry establishment, and we must congratulate the hotel for having such an amazing staff like Ms Leena, who was so calm and collected when dealing with a stressful situation like ours. She was able to confidently make decisions like what is expected of a good senior staff of an organisation, without much fuss and unnecessary fanfare. The rooms were clean, and very modern, and all the basic necessities we needed were provided for. Breakfast and meals at the restaurant were also great, with very efficient staff running like clockwork. The jacuzzi and sauna are complimentary, and have to be booked in advance for the privacy comfort of the guests. Free shuttle buses are provided to take guests to the ski lifts. The staff were all very professional and efficient. We can highly recommend this hotel to those visiting Gudauri, and our advice is, if you can afford it, go for the Family Rooms. They are much more spacious and luxurious compared to the standard ones.

Nice place covered with snow and experienced snowfall as well. Food was not upto the standards. Mostly salty for us. Restaurant closes at 10pm. We went to child snow activities to a place around 1km from the hotel. Amenities and service were good.

I booked two rooms for two nights via agoda.com and received a decent deal. The hotel is centrally located near the main road, with front and backside mountain views and a balcony for every room. The rooms are small in size but clean and best. Comfortable beds, Room heater, free wifi, coffee and tea maker, and running 24x7 hot water. Breakfast is offered free and is with good variety—smooth check-in and check-out. The reception staff is pleasant and welcoming. However, the breakfast staff doesn't seem to be that caring. We checked out at 8 am and were under the assumption that breakfast starts at 8 am; however, the staff refused to allow us to have a coffee and shut the breakfast door, which sounded unprofessional. They could have offered a coffee, at least. However, the staff refused and shut the doors harshly. Spas are available; however, needed booking on the day in advance. Hence we couldn't use it. Overall we liked the hotel except for the breakfast staff's behavior on the last day.

I was there in the start of November the rooms were clean we were provided a room with a beautiful view there was room services and the staff was very polite but didn't like the catering staff we reached around 8:56 and they were like the breakfast is at 9:00 am and slammed the door infront of us but which was not polite at all but over all experience was very good

Visited hotel in September 2022, hotel is new very clean and modern, restaurant is designed very nicely as well. staff was very friendly helpful advising with all of our request. breakfast nice, there is no live station which would be nice to add, but we asked for additional omlet and they were kind enough to provide it free of charge.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, food was amazing, interior was great and the staff was so friendly, kind, they tried their best and thank you for everything.I highly recommend this hotel for anyone. We were staying for eight days and that was one of the best experience in my life. Once again thank you for everything, I definitely come back ❤️❤️❤️❤️

we have visited this hotel in august 2022 for few days. new hotel, very clean rooms, very very good service, staff is very friendly. breakfast is also very good. will definately come back for winter holidays.

This place is divine - the staff are super great (shoutout to Vika!) - they made sure that you feel at home; very friendly & hospitable. The hotel lobby is great with such an impeccable interior (nice lounges), the restaurant serves an amazing food - hands down to their super yummy Khinkali; breakfast spread was nice too! The rooms are beautiful - spacious balcony, comfy bed & pillows (very important to me) - the bathroom is spacious too with nice rain shower. The staff also helped us book our paragliding which is great! Such a beautiful experience - exceptional, indeed! :)

I'm giving it 5 stars because of the ladies in the reception who were just the sweetest and most caring people. Thank you! I will however note that the room cleanliness needs some improvement. When I checked in, it looked clean from far, but it was not clean. Balls of dust on the carpet, hair (not mine) on the table, in the bathroom. They even left their mopping clothes in the bathroom. I threw it under the sink… Restaurant: breakfast was very tasty. The staff - they all need to start smiling. Overall nice hotel. Would gladly come again.

Jacuzzi on the roof with snow covered mountains view. Comfortable & cozy room (Bed, Pillow and Duvet), lovely balcony setup. very helpful staff.. they arranged a pizza for us at midnight even though their kitchen was closed.

I really enjoyed the stay over there. It was calm and quite. All the staffs in the hotel are very helpful. They are ready to guide you with the locations and its details. If you need a PCR test too, they will arrange it for you. All the whole , the stay was quite wonderful and memorable one.

We had a lot of fun in the hotel!the stuff members we're great especially one stuff memebre called Nini she helped us allot and wase so kind and nice to us. she really made our vection!! thanks Nini we love you :)

I came for a ski vacation to the hotel and everything was great. The service is amazing mainly because one of the hotel workers "Nini" she is the best! She is helping us every time with a big smile! Thank you very much.

The hotel staff was excellent. The rooms are small, but they have everything you need for a perfect family ski vacation. Hotel manager Nina helps with everything. The receptionist tended to help with anything we asked for. There is a shuttle car that serves hotel guests. Breakfast is good and includes vegetables, eggs, cheeses and hot dishes. A varied dinner accompanied by a singer and saxophone. We were and really enjoyed. Ski equipment can be rented from a shop next to the hotel

I stayed in the hotel last week and it was amazing. We book direct with the hotel and the rate is much better. The staffs are always willing to help and assist you always. Their manner is very polite and helpful. The room is a bit small in my opinion, it is only fit for 2 luggage and you have space to open 1 bag each time. As well as the bed and it is quite hard. I fall off the bed in the night time ^^. the room is warm with heater in bedroom and bathroom as well as the floor is warm. The mountain view is facing the main road but it was amazing for the sun rise. I did the time lapse VDO. The food also amazing, there was Saxophone show during the dinner. The price of the food is acceptable, not too expensive. The outdoor jacuzzi is really good for photo and relax. It is not open all the time, you need to book with the staff in advance. I use the transfer from hotel to Tbilisi which cost 250gel. The service is also good and driver was very much. The location of the hotel is on the main road not in the ski area. But they have transfer to the ski area. It is nice, cozy and comfortable place to stay. Just not suite for many luggage, if you have only 2 bag will be fine.

Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is professional and attentive. The food is amazing. The owner is very nice and helpful. We were 10 pax (5 rooms) and the owner was involved with everything and made sure we have everything we need. The best hotel in Gudauri by far.

Such a good resort with well setup rooms and a great staff to support your requests. The location is close enough to the Ski Slopes and to other restaurants as well that you can walk it or get a short cab ride.The breakfast options could improve but not bad anyhow. The highlight is probably the jacuzzis on the roof; so imagine sitting in a warm jacuzzi during snowfall or while it's snow season! Awesome

The hotel is newly opened and is clean, modern and the rooms are really comfortable. The staff was helpful with everything and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The food serving, both restaurant and breakfast/dinner buffet was excellent. Will recocomend if you´re visiting Gudauri to ski (which you probably are) since the hotel rents out skis and equipment for very reasonable prices and even has a free shuttle bus up and down to the ski-resort.

My husband and me were in Hotel Retro for two days. Room was clean and cosy with nice views. Restaurant was 2 min walk. In balcony was super chair!!! Breakfast- very very delicious and healthy! I really recommend.
