"Great Venue & Service Delivery"
Harold B, 20 Février 2024

Little was known of the Inn at Great Neck until I visited the venue and decided on having the 50th Birthday Party there. The team at Inn at Great Neck are highly professional, detail oriented, and well organized. Jennifer, Social Sales Manager was very accommodating and helped immensely in creating a meaningful experience. She supported us through the event - from menu planning to providing seating layouts, and décor. The costs were not overwhelming. I would definitely recommend the Inn at Great neck for your next event.

"Big change for worse here: BEWARE GUESTS!!"
Margie S, 04 Février 2024

Have stayed here over 100 nights this year and suddenly there is a BIG CHANGE FOR THE WORST. There is no security, even though there is a front desk person because the ball rooms have double doors out to the street and they were flung wide open during 30° weather. I reported it four times during our six-day stay, but Paul at the Front Desk kept saying he don't know anybody who has the lock. I was very concerned by the security issues indicated by that statement. I actually grew up in this town and know it very well, but this time had a dog with me and never walked a dog at 4 AM down the streets and they are not safe at those hours and the fact that the hotel doors were flung wide open and anyone could've walked in is a absolute disaster. Up until very recently they had a regular television in the room. With the recent upgrades, which were very minor, they change the televisions to a satellite system, and they leave a 10 point set of instructions of how to turn on the television from your phone after you get a certain app on your phone. This has to be done each time you come back to your room, and it requires two remote controls. The whole process took us almost 45 minutes. The breakfast was thrown as if it was thrown to dogs, just thrown all over the counter, and they were out of coffee cups and out of yogurt and out of bacon. They told us that they're bacon was on a “bacon rotation, which meant that every other day they had bacon and every other day they had sausage. We told them that this was the most ridiculous thing we had ever heard and told them so and they went out and bought bacon. The Bellman never came to get our luggage, and when we brought everything down ourselves, late 60s and early 70s, not easy!, They told us they were just busy! Maybe worse of all what is the fact that they recently did some very minor upgrades and took away the bottles of shampoo and replaced them with pump bottles on the wall and the pump bottles were clogged with old product and one bottle was so stuck full of old conditioner that it fell off the wall and broke into three piecesafter hitting my ankle and cutting my skin open. We reported this to the front desk and they sounded surprised, but never came to fix it, not in three more days of waiting did they come to fix it.Not at all.

"Get a room away from the train tracks"
Christina W, 13 Décembre 2023

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, I didn't expect to be put in a room next to the train (especially paying such a high price). If you book this hotel be sure to request a room at the front of the hotel and away from the train. Otherwise you better bring your earplugs.

"banquet room. Inn of Great Neck "
Lisa D, 26 Septembre 2023

The room was beautiful and set up perfectly before the event. The staff was efficient and extremely polite and helpful. We will definitely use this space for our next holiday event The food was warm and served efficiently.

"Awesome Customer Service!"
Clint W, 09 Août 2023

I had booked at another hotel in the area but was very displeased with the accommodations. Halfway through my trip to NY I decided to have a look at Inn at Great Neck. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Nearly completely booked for the 2 nights I needed they first made sure there was a clean room I could view and then made arrangements for me to stay. Understandable I was told it would take some time to have the room ready but before I even left the property I had my room key!

"What in the world?"
julianna b, 31 Juillet 2023

My finance and I wanted a romantic weekend away, but we got anything but! A stalker was given hour hotel room number by a friend of hers who is an employee, she proceeded to call us making threats and showed up in the middle of the night, forcing us to call the police! If your privacy is an issue do NOT stay here! In addition we came back to the room one night and the carpets had been torn out of the hallway!

"Wonderful night's stay!"
634avig, 17 Juillet 2023

My wife and I stayed for one night the week of July 10th. This is a really fine inn. It is immaculate, the room was really nice and well-dimensioned. As a bonus, we found that we had a balcony. The staff was extremely helpful. We highly recommend the Inn at Great Neck, and we would absolutely come again. As a nice touch, the bathtub was really deep, and I luxuriated in a (really hot!) bath. For the quality of the inn, the price is truly a bargain.

"Great Hotel and Restaurant"
413colleenp, 22 Juin 2023

Excellent hotel, it was so clean and the restaurant there was amazing! All the staff was friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely be back again.

"Great experience"
Michele Z, 19 Juin 2023

This is one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed at. Staff is great, helpful and accommodating. When I walked in I was greeted with smiles. I stayed with a few friends and we had such a great experience. Location is great. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. I said to my one friend, “I got the best sleep from this bed, I may have to buy the same one”. Seriously!! I got amazing sleep and I would 100% come back to this hotel. Highly recommended hotel!!!

"Avoid this hotel like the plague."
David T, 14 Juin 2023

If you plan on getting married and are considering having your bridal party stay here, LOOK ELSEWHERE. When I arrived, the coffee machine was broken, and I knew we'd like some coffee in the morning, so I asked for help. The hotel sent a staff member who only understood Spanish to my room. I tried telling him what was happening, but we didn't understand each other because of the language barrier. Well, needless to say, we didn't get to have any coffee. When we left for the wedding, apparently, they thought I and all of our guests weren't coming back to the hotel and were all checking out cause NONE OF OUR KEYS WORKED! Why? Do they expect everyone to stay inside the hotel for their entire stay? My brother also needed a playpen for my baby niece - you'd think they would provide something decent for the amount you're paying; instead, they got a playpen that was falling apart and hard as a rock. My parents were also staying at the hotel, and the cabinets in their room were falling off the hinges. My wife's aunt and uncle stayed at the hotel as well, and they are elderly; the air conditioning in their room was not working, and the hotel had no solution for them. The night my new wife and I returned from our wedding to spend our first night together, we realized - this room wasn't accessible! My wife is a paraplegic and requires an ADA-compliant room, meaning a lower bed, a roll-in shower, and a higher but standard-shaped toilet. Well, the bed was too high for her to transfer into. The bathroom had a bathtub she couldn't get into, and the toilet was too wide for her to fit her chair on. We ended up packing up and LEAVING the hotel on our wedding night and drove back to my in-law's house to sleep for an hour or so for a planned brunch we had the next day with family. It was a terrible ending to an otherwise fantastic day. After speaking with the woman who helped us book the rooms, she said she would provide our mother and father-in-law with a 50% discount for our room. Well, the fun didn't stop there. My wife and I got married on Saturday. Her parents booked us a stay here and paid for our rooms and everyone in the bridal party (very kind of them as this hotel is out of our price range). We arrived at the hotel, and they took our cards for "incidentals" I asked the woman at the front desk why they were taking a card when my mother and father in law have already paid for the room, and she assured me we wouldn't be charged. WRONG. We woke up this morning (Wednesday after the wedding) with a fat charge on our card - and this was after discussing getting a discount because of all the other issues mentioned above. Avoid this hotel like the plague. We had some of the wedding guests stay at the Holiday Inn nearby, and they did a great job - 0 complaints from our guests. Why overpay for a terrible experience? If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

"great staff but outdated hotel"
clarissan2013, 03 Juin 2023

I've stayed at the Inn at great neck before...it's the only decent hotel in Great Neck. Location is right by the train so, if you need to get to the city, this is the place to be. the inn could do with some sprucing up...the rooms are looking dated and the sofa in my room really should be replaced...it's very old and dirty looking. the linen on my bed was scratchy and the Tv small by today's hotel standards. a free breakfast on weekdays is a nice surprise although there would need to be additional staff allocated for this since the breakfast room is none too clean and the offerings are very limited. the best part of this hotel is their staff...Paul at the front desk is very competent and helpful, Felix the bellboy is super nice...the housekeeping staff is great and keeps your room immaculate. the bed is comfy and if you don't need bells and whistles you can have a comfortable stay here. My sink was slow to drain and despite many mentions of this it stayed that way. other than that all other concerns were addressed quickly and fixed.

"Unique atmosphere and super friendly staff"
cathy k, 18 Janvier 2023

Staff was able to help me sort out some issues with my reservation. They were also very knowledgeable about transportation options into NYC. I really liked the decorations and the furniture. I would definitely recommend.

"Terrible"
Christina C, 06 Janvier 2023

The staff is disrespectful. Hotel lobby bathroom sinks didn't work. Lobby bar was rude. No air conditioning in our room and when I called down they claimed they didn't have it but then said they did and would send an "Engineer" who also said it didn't work for our room.... You can run the air but you get heat. The heater is dirty and the floor under the furniture is dirty. It is a less than desirable hotel. We won't be back.

"Phenomenal Service"
danafA8558NN, 09 Décembre 2022

Paul, Karen, Eric, and Felix were outstanding every single time we had a question about the area and about having to extend our stay indefinitely. Our son was hospitalized here in New York, and we flew here on an emergency basis. We were so upset and confused, and they were calm and helpful every single time we interacted with them which was a lot since we stayed there for at least a week until we got housing at Ronald McDonald House Charities. Honestly, we can't thank them enough and would so very highly recommend this hotel to any and everyone.

"Hotel needs to be renovated"
Diane G, 07 Novembre 2022

The whole hotel, including the rooms, are shabby need to be renovated. The carpet in my room was very worn. The curtains look like they are from the 1980s. The bed and sheets were very uncomfortable. However, the room was clean.

"Worst hotel experience I've ever had"
BScripter, 29 Octobre 2022

I've stayed at many hotels over the years and have worked as a front desk agent and concierge. I've never had an experience this bad. At check in, there was nobody available to check me in for over 20 minutes. I have a disability and, although I stay in a regular guest room, it is very hard for me to stand around waiting and waiting for someone to help. The manager was abrupt and completely unapologetic when she finally did assist me. I emailed the General Manager and again received no apology, just a statement that they were glad I was ultimately helped to check in. The same thing happened at check out. Nobody was at the desk, but I didn't have to wait as long. In the room, two lights were broken (out of maybe five or six) and the first two electrical outlets I tried had no power. The bed was very uncomfortable and worn out. Maybe there were coils starting to poke through, but something was bothering me. The internet was hit or miss.

"My horrible stay"
Nyahessences, 09 Octobre 2022

I was in town for a wedding. I have stayed in Best Western hotels but this is the worst. We were assigned a room that had people belonging in it there was someone's purse, luggage, etc. I was given another room that was not very clean and the heat was not working. I informed the front desk facilities never came to address the issue.

"Rude staff"
kdkerski, 19 Septembre 2022

The staff at the front desk was very rude to everyone in our party. We stayed for multiple days and felt like our stay was an inconvenience to the staff. If we had not been there for a wedding I would have changed hotels.

"Our stay"
verdiaqua, 11 Septembre 2022

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding in the area. Charming art deco hotel. Rooms are a generous size, air conditioning worked beautifully. The only drawback is they hold extra money on your credit card for amenities. And did not explain what amenities were to me when asked.

"Unprofessional staff at the breakfast area"
H3198BUstanc, 07 Septembre 2022

We were part of a wedding group end of first week of august and stayed for 4 nights. During the breakfast hour I let the staff ( just one man in black shirt & trouser)working the breakfast area by himself know they were out of eggs. I was soft spoken and Polite, the staff lashed out at me raising his voice asking me to be patient and saying if I wanted I could come and see back in the kitchen. The staff totally lost it and I was stunned, not sure what the staffs problem was but this was no way to behave for someone in the service industry. I pointed this out to the manager who said this was unacceptable, not sure if any disciplinary action was taken with the staff. Otherwise the hotel is at a good location with decent rooms and good connectivity to the city via LIRR. The poor review is due to the intimidating and unprofessional behavior by the person servicing the breakfast area.

"Terrible business"
blauring5212, 15 Août 2022

I booked Inn at Great Neck 3-4 months in advance for a wedding. They called me TWO days before my stay to let me know that they overbooked and that I would be transferred to their sister hotel, Adria Hotel and Conference. They would not give a discount or any concession for the inconvenience. This would have been fine if it was the same quality of hotel but the Adria is a 3 star and the Inn at Great Neck is a 4 star. The price difference was only about $10 a night between the two. Immediately I went online to look at the reviews for Adria and saw they were terrible. I thought "okay, maybe it's not that bad, also it's too late to book another hotel or Airbnb because it's two days before." Boy was I wrong! Checked in at the Adria and immediately found many dirty stains and issues in need of repair in the room. The room felt unsanitary. The towels we got had stains and hair all over them and when I asked for more, all of the "new" ones they gave also had stains on them. But there was nothing I could do as it was a weekend and all the other nicer hotels in the area were booked or charged 300+ a night. I'm disappointed that Inn at Great Neck moved my reservation to a lesser hotel only two days before. Had I gotten advance notice of this, I would immediately have booked somewhere else as the Adria was shabby and filthy as expected. Sure, I know Adria is a 3 star hotel, but I have stayed in other 3 star hotels that have been immaculate. Inn at Great Neck's reasoning for moving my reservation was that they had another wedding party that extended their stay. They extended last minute and I booked 4 months ago. Inn at Great Neck clearly did not care that I had already booked and let the other wedding party stay additional nights. This happened to many other guests at the same wedding and none of us were happy about it. I will be leaving a separate review for the Adria.

"In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king."
Bruce0460, 05 Août 2022

There are only 2 hotels in Great Neck: The Andrew, and the Inn at Great Neck. The Andrew is a dump, so the Inn wins by default. But it's a 3-star hotel with 4-star rates. It needs a major renovation. And during my most recent trip, I was incredibly disappointed by the fact that I couldn't get the Yankee or Mets games on tv in my room because the Inn doesn't subscribe to those channels. Really?! Maybe we'll stay in Port Washington or Massapequa next time.

"The best hotel in great neck"
ominilove14, 25 Juillet 2022

This hotel is the best hotel in great neck the staff is great and wonderful super friendly. The room are super clean and Roomy the beds are so soft and very comfortable. The music they play great it very quiet .

"Wedding Block Hotel: A Must Book for your Big Day!"
leighmariew2022, 21 Juillet 2022

We used the Inn at Great Neck for our wedding block hotel and we are so grateful we did. The entire experience working with the staff from this hotel was amazing from start to finish. Aside from the hotel being a preferred vendor with our venue, My husband and I actually won a free honeymoon night stay as one of the raffle prizes that were given out at our venue showcase back in the fall of 2019. Once we received that, we knew it was a no brainer to book this hotel as part of our wedding block. We met with Anthony Ferrerosa in October of 2019 and he graciously walked us through everything we needed to know about our big day. He put me at ease knowing if I didn't max out all the rooms we reserved that we wouldn't be penalized for it. Fast forward to 2020, everyone knows what happened then. Unfortunately, we ended up postponing our wedding to December of 2021. The postponement process with the Inn at Great Neck was nothing short of a breeze, everything from December 2020 transferred right over to the following December. After what felt like a decade of waiting we finally approached our wedding. About a month before our big day, we met with Anthony to go over all the details once more. Anthony made sure every detail was solidified for us, he even made sure details that had nothing to do with the hotel were in place, which my husband and I both really appreciated. We felt very taken care of at Inn and knew that they wanted our day to be just as successful as we wanted it to be. Thankfully, our big day went off without a hitch! The Inn at GN provided our guests with a shuttle service from the hotel to the venue and vice versa at the end of the night too. Our guests were also greeted with welcome bags that the Inn graciously distributed for us. When my husband and I got to the hotel the night of our wedding they offered to hold our cake for us in the big fridge in the kitchen so it didn't go bad (THE BEST!) When we finally got to our suite it was decorated with rose petals and champagne! The perfect way to end such an amazing day! We are both so grateful we used the Inn at GN and couldn't have asked for better service from beginning to end. Anthony will always be one of our favorite people and we hope to work with him again in the future!

"Wonderfully comfortable hotel"
Raymond305, 19 Juillet 2022

I'm a many-time guest, and the hotel never disappoints. Great service, ambiance and location. Great restaurant too! Spacious and well-appointed rooms with a quiet chill atmosphere. Twenty eight minutes to Manhattan by train with the station being adjacent to the hotel.

"Great Location that needs an Update"
MarkS7093, 16 Juin 2022

This hotel is close to all the local places (food, retail, coffee, and train) and all these places are within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable, beds are good and bathrooms are adequate. The hotel itself needs an uplift, there is peeling wallcovering and the carpets are a bit dated but otherwise a good place to stay.

"Perfect Event Space"
tjny97, 08 Juin 2022

Great place to have a party! Beautiful space, great food and an amazing staff who went above and beyond! Anthony Ferrerosa helped make every detail of the event perfect! Bartenders, Amy and Corey offered outstanding service. Servers were super attentive. Hospitality and then some. My guests were impressed and I was thrilled with the entire event, from planning phase through party phase. Stayed the night and was pleased with the accommodations of the hotel as well. Highly recommend and can't wait to throw another event there!

"Never to return"
marciaj69, 03 Juin 2022

I've stayed in many hotels around the world, but my experience at the Inn at Great Neck was most disappointing. On arrival the receptionist at the front desk could not have been less welcoming if he tried. We had to ask questions for everything - for example - what do you need to register, where the lift was, where the restaurant was? Information that receptionists generally provide you with on arrival, with an accommodating smile. Our experience in the restaurant also left a lot to be desired. The bartender didn't attend to our group, we had to ask him for the drinks menu (even though we had been seated for approx. half an hour) to which he claimed that there wasn't one, even though it had been offered to a couple earlier. He eventually took our order for drinks and food and it was a much longer time later that we began to wonder why the food was taking so long to arrive. To our astonishment it turned out that the chef/cook had disappeared! No one thought to inform us, so that we could make alternative arrangements as it was quite late in the evening. We were somewhat confused at this situation, as we had seen groups of people eating on our arrival in the restaurant. I feel saddened at the lack of hospitality that we received during our short stay and for that reason I will never stay at or recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Anthony Ferrerosa to the rescue!"
skosser, 28 Mai 2022

Two weeks before my grandson's Bar Mitzvah, we were told that the hotel which was holding our reservations ( 20 rooms) and Brunch arrangements had overbooked and we had nothing! Anthony Ferrerosa to the rescue! The Inn at Great Neck was able to accomodate our guests and also provide a fabulous brunch. Anthony took care of every detail in providing appropriate rooms, coordinating the transportation and even checking the weather to decide whether the brunch should be indoors or outdoors. Due to flight delays and cancellations, Anthony made sure that our guests had late check-outs and early check-ins when needed. My son arrived at 7:30 AM and Anthony was on the phone with a room for him. Anthony responded immediately to any question or concern. The brunch was fabulous and Gabby and Josie were extremely attentive and so very pleasant. The Inn at Great Neck is a charming hotel with superior, caring customer service. They will be my first recommendation for anyone needing a hotel in the area. I look forward to hosting a party there in the future. Thank you Anthony, for making a potentially horrible situation into a wonderful experience.

"Wedding"
peterbX369CJ, 26 Mai 2022

Our experience with The Inn was amazing. My wife and I were helped by Anthony many months before the big day and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was quick to respond to any questions we had and provided us with so much help in regards to planning for the big day and made the big day extra special. All the staff at The Inn were pleasant and helpful but we couldn't help but notice the hard work that Bria and Mike W. showed. They both were very professional , accommodating, and would check in with our table several times to make sure that our party was good. It was such a pleasure working with Anthony and interacting with the staff at The Inn and hope to stay there again in the near future.

"Anthony Ferrerosa @ Great Neck Inn"
Adventure698782, 22 Mai 2022

When we first met to prepare for our daughters Quinceanera and book the Great Neck Inn for all our out-of-town guests, I knew we were in good hands with Anthony Ferrerosa! He made sure to check in during the event's planning and secure the perfect room for each guest! He stayed connected during their stay and checked each room to ensure our guests' comfort. He went truly above and beyond on his day off! My guests checked out and then found themselves with canceled flights. They could not leave till the following day, and I texted Anthony in a panic - he answered immediately and rebooked my guests for the night! He was a lifesaver. Five starts to Anthony at the Great Neck Inn!

"Excellent Stay!"
Vie_and_Rose, 21 Mai 2022

I've been to many different hotels/motels for years, mainly for business so it is usually a very stressful event. However, this has by far been the best hotel I've stayed at despite the business I was attending being the most stressful. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The chef and bartender were great at their jobs. It is also a cleanly and beautiful hotel overall.

"Bridal Shower and overnight accommodation"
Explorer567084, 08 Mai 2022

We had a bridal shower at Inn at Great Neck in April 2022 for my niece and everything was wonderful! Our guests enjoyed it. The event exceeded my expectations. As part of the package, we received overnight accommodation at the hotel for my niece and her fiancé. My niece told me they had a terrific stay and that it was like a mini-vacation. The overnight accommodation was a fantastic bonus, the cherry on the top of the cake, for the entire event. Anthony, the sales manager, really went above and beyond. His attention to detail was super thorough from the placement of balloons and flowers to the setup of the room, the “Winner” stickers, and the photo collage. His extra help made such a difference in making the event a success. The food was delicious. Amy, the server, was top-notch. She was very attentive and responsive to my niece, our guests, and any requests that came up. Bria, the bartender, and Alex, the valet, were both very helpful and super friendly. We would definitely hold an event again at the Inn at Great Neck!

"Happy with our stay"
MicheleFC1, 31 Mars 2022

We were very happy with our stay at Inn at Great Neck. The location is great. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The interior decor is an attractive 1920s art deco theme throughout the lobby, hallways and rooms. It takes you to a different time. The best thing about our stay was the size of our room. It was very large (especially for an inn in an urban setting). We had a ton of space with a nice view of the city below. We had a chair and ottoman for relaxation in our room. The room was clean and attractive, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. I would definitely return to this inn if ever in the area again.

"Would not return"
Dreamer09676877654, 27 Mars 2022

This hotel has a decent location and, despite looking out at a commuter rail, our room was reasonably quiet. However, what could have been a very nice place to stay was degraded by numerous minor yet, in the aggregate, disappointing concerns. Regarding our room, we found that our hot water was not always hot, lampshade had tears, room picture was not properly framed, a bathroom light was burned out, bath radiator rusted, HVAC fan sometimes noisy,... On our first day we went down for breakfast at 8AM and found that the egg serving tray did not have anything left (staff said their delivery did not happen) and there were two thin/small/hard pieces of French toast. After asking we were brought some cereal and a few more pieces of French toast were brought out. Another couple (after asking) were brought yogurt. On request I was given a glass of juice. [Why not put these items out for everyone instead of three fairly empty silver warming trays]. The caffeinated coffee urn was empty, but staff did bring out a glass carafe of coffee to fill our cups. The first night we enjoyed a couple of drinks and appetizers at the bar. It was interesting that when I showed the bartender the 'Yelp' coupon for a welcome glass of wine he knew nothing about it (I did not press it as a $6 glass of wine was not worth the effort). The Car Valet service was spot on and the room cleaning staff met our expectations. I have traveled and stayed in numerous hotels and found this to be the only one To which I would not return.

"Nice Stay, Wonderful Staff"
shuwanagoodson, 22 Mars 2022

Stayed at this location on a business trip. The hotel and room were clean and spacious and the staff was wonderful. Area had multiple eating establishments to choose from and location with easy access to surrounding area. Would definitely use stay again when I am back in NY.

"I'm almost speechless"
Fearless41671594401, 19 Mars 2022

Claude have mercy, what happened to this place? We stayed here during the pandemic..it was great..and that's why we came back for a 2nd time.. We can't believe the difference and not for the better..the Direct tv satellite system isn't working and we were told it's because of the rain..(that was last night..and it wasn't raining..smh)..The A/c isn't working and the room is hot as hades. I informed the concierge and was told to turn it off. Like no kidding. What I did was open it up and turn off the hot water in the unit. I can't even open the windows to get some cool air in the room..it's like I'm staying at Rikers or some Russian gulag So now I'm sitting here in the lobby where it's cooler at least and waiting for another room..it's a 2 day reservation…. I'm tired of all these COVID related excuses even though the COVID card wasn't played and wasn't presented as an excuse.. $410 for this for 2 days..3/18-3/20

"Only spot to stay in Great Neck!"

The Inn has caring and kind people working there....they really are concerned about customer comfort. Rooms could use an update, but in working order. Good to see the restaurant back open. Highly recommend if in area.

"Exceptional Service for my post-wedding stay!"
chelseateresa11, 21 Janvier 2022

My husband and I had gotten married last summer and through all of the stress of rescheduling and re-planning due to COVID, we were looking for a hotel for our guests to stay and mingle after our day wedding. Needless to say, Anthony from the Sales Department went above and beyond to make our day less stressful and beyond accommodating. We were swept away by everyone's kindness and professionalism and we would certainly recommend this place to everyone in the area who is looking for a relaxing stay! We were also hosted graciously by their bartenders - Gabriel & Jelie - who greeted our guests upon arrival. Certainly a wonderful staff and great hotel!

"Great stay at the Inn at Great Neck"
Lani P, 07 Janvier 2022

Art Deco design with beautiful furnishings in the lobby. Our room was nice with wonderful and comfy bed and pillows. The shampoo conditioner and body soap in the shower were a nice touch. We had everything we needed. We were thrilled to find that Chatanooga and our very favorite bakery Noir were just across the street. Both establishments provided excellent food. We went to Noir daily and took goodies home for our husbands.

Excellent Customer Service Before We Arrived. Sheryl was outstanding. She corrected a reservation that was triplicated. Even though our trip was cancelled, due to COVID, I would stay here because of Sheryl's great customer service!

"Had a great stay!"
ckesss, 13 Décembre 2021

Just wanted to say that we absolutely loved our stay. It was an all around excellent experience and Everyone we encountered working at the hotel was just so amazing and friendly and made us feel at home. We loved the rose petals, champagne and kind note left by the staff when we returned to our room from our wedding. That was the perfect ending to a perfect day. After our wedding we had a small afterparty in the lobby bar for some of our wedding guest staying at the hotel and The bartenders were awesome and took good care of us and the food platters we ordered were awesome as well. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Anthony F. was an absolute pleasure to deal with while booking all of this. He made planning everything a breeze and even helped us arrange a shuttle for our guests. We also treated some of our guests to breakfast our last morning at the hotel and loved it, our waitress Mercedes was a sweetheart. If we ever have another event in the area we will make sure to come back for a stay!!

"The best hotel accommodations and staff."
caracross111221, 26 Novembre 2021

SHOUTOUT TO ANTHONY FERREROSA! WE LOVE YOU!!! From the moment we stepped foot into this beautiful hotel in fall of 2019, we knew we had to choose it for our wedding accommodations. Our wedding was originally October 2019, but we had to postpone due to COVID, to November 2021. Working with Anthony and the staff at The Inn At Great Neck Hotel has been an absolute pleasure. There was no confusion, no stress, only helpfulness, great hospitality, and sincere guidance. The hotel is so beautiful, clean, newly renovated, fully stocked, and accommodated with wonderful staff members. We have been working with Anthony Ferrerosa since day 1, and we have to say, he is the absolute BEST EVER. There was never a time where he wasn't present, nor was there a time where we had to wait a while for answers to questions or concerns we have had. Anthony has been an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, and we cannot commend him enough for all he has done for us, our families, our wedding, and our guests. There is NOTHING he can't do! My husband and I agree that throughout planning our wedding, Anthony F has been a breathe of fresh air, and has been one of our favorite vendors to work with. He always works with a smile, and has put a permadent smile on our faces. We are so glad that we chose the Inn at Great Neck. Our stay was perfect, with no hiccups. Our guests enjoyed their rooms, my husband and I enjoyed our bridal suite (both nights), and our families loved the brunch the next morning, post wedding. The service at this hotel is highly recommendable, and should be praised. We will be back for sure, as we have been telling my newly engaged brother to chose this hotel for his wedding! Again, thank you to The Inn at Great Neck Hotel staff! You all were SO wonderful and we cannot talk about you all enough. And to Anthony, you are a superstar and deserve the world. We love you!

"Quick Overnight in Great Neck"

Changed my plans and did a quick overnight in Great Neck. Enjoyed my stay at Inn at Great Neck. Service was great, staff was friendly and my room was very nice. Had a nice dinner in the restaurant before heading out for my evening event. Will definitely stay again.

"Great value/Wonderful Experience"
TVGross, 15 Novembre 2021

I really enjoyed my 2 night stay at this Inn. My expectations were not high since I was staying there on business. I was pleasantly surprised!! The rooms are huge and clean. After checking in, I immediately hooked up my laptop and connected to the internet with no issues. Raj from the front desk texted me to ask how was everything? He asked if I wanted to sign up for BW rewards. I told him that I thought that I was already signed up. He researched and discovered that my account was "inactive". Long story short, he was able to get me back on track. Huge thank you to Raj!! As for the restaurant, imagine my surprise when I called down to order dinner (expecting to have to go down to pick it up) and they told me they would deliver to my room. I've stayed in a bunch of hotels since COVID and MOST of them do not offer room service anymore. Thank you Inn at Great Neck for not using the pandemic as an excuse to cut services. The food was so good that I ordered room service again on the following night. The burger, DELISH. The margaritas, YUM! Do not hesitate to book this gem! 10 Stars.

"Wedding Party Rooms"
Kmightymel, 27 Octobre 2021

The hotel itself is very clean and pleasant. The shuttle provided by the hotel went smoothly bring us back from the venue to check into our rooms. There was a slight glitch at the front desk which resolved itself by morning with no issues. Anthony the sales manger was very accommodating and apologized for the slight mishap and definitely went above and beyond to ensure our family and friends were extremely happy with their experience there. Overall we were pleased with everything and if anyone is looking to book rooms for a wedding venue do not hesitate contact Anthony the Social Sales Manager at the hotel.

"It was an awful experience! Worst hotel ever!"
535mardas, 11 Octobre 2021

We stayed there for 2 nights because we had a wedding. Prior to our arrival, there was a storm which flooded the hotel. We were never notified by the staff or anyone else that the services at the hotel were not in use until after we checked in. We were given a room on the 4th floor of the hotel and had to walk up and down the steps in the stairwell. The stairwells, hallways and rooms were filled with terrible fumes from the trucks that were pumping out the water in their garage. We asked for a room on another floor but they were not able to accommodate us. We called the manager and left several messages as well stopping by the front desk to talk to him. But he never got back to us. The entire lobby and hallways smelled of mildew. The ceilings in the bathroom had black mold all over them. The rooms all smell musty and the windows had plexiglass on them, so you couldn't open them. This was definitely a fire hazard. DO NOT STAY THERE! THIS HOTEL IS AWFUL. THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

"Average, But Worth a Try"
Max G, 22 Septembre 2021

September 17 to 19, 2021. The employees were friendly, professional and helpful. The property is nice. The common areas are well-maintained. The mattress was very comfortable. Avoid Room 202 if you're a light sleeper - - this room faces the street and is directly above the front entrance, so you hear car doors closing through the night and you also hear occasional loud guests. There was also a fruitfly or gnat issue in the room. We mentioned the issue to management and they offered to move us to another room - - we were only there for two nights, so we declined the offer. There was another major issue that occurred; it was resolved relatively well, and when we checked out the person at the front desk made an adjustment on our final bill to make amends. It wasn't the best experience I've had at a hotel, but I'd stay here again.

"Dirty, old, outdated hotel/horrible place with unprofessional staff"
tedm433, 22 Septembre 2021

We had reservations to stay in July for one week. My wife was going to have surgery and she was going to recover at the Inn for one week. We checked in and found the room to be dirty. The decor was outdated and appeared to be from the 1980's. The room smelled musty. We checked out after two hours. It was a major deal to get a refund on our weeks reservation, only to still be charged a deposit fee for one days stay DO NOT STAY at this hotel. The staff at the desk was also very unprofessional.

"Horrible, would never recommend"
Jacqueline F, 09 Septembre 2021

Service and staff both stink here. Take your business elsewhere, you will be happy you did. The manager is vile and so are his staff members. There is no housekeeping unless you stay at least 3 nights, lobby stinks of mildew.

"Average hotel"
robinmnjones, 30 Août 2021

We stayed in this hotel for a wedding so we did not choose it ourselves. Everything was clean but decor was a bit worn. The lobby was small so there was not a comfortable place to hang out with friends and family. The only outdoor space was a small area facing the street. The shower and the bed were the best features of the hotel. The internet quality was poor.

"Excellent hotel"
DoreenVIrginia, 29 Août 2021

Stayed there for a wedding. It is a beautiful hotel with comfortable beds. The room was quite. We ate at the restaurant and the food and service was great. Only negative is a $14 a day parking fee. I highly recommend it.

"good"
sarrafabrizio, 28 Août 2021

the stay was good it definitely met my expectations. i certainly enjoyed that it was extremely quiet as i am a fussy sleeper & enjoy the quietness throughout the hotel & outside of it. the staff brought me up a plug for my charger considering i only had the chord so that was helpful.

"Incredible hotel"
Stephanie H, 25 Août 2021

This is a classic hotel. Very unexpected. The employees were friendly and helpful. They were always anticipating my needs. There are great restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Mediocre at Best"
TBSMKS0305, 24 Août 2021

We come to Great Neck to visit our parents. We came a few months ago and the hotel was not great - we understood because of Covid there would be no valet, no cleaning of rooms and no breakfast. Stay wasn't a quality time. However - although the rules for Covid have relaxed I don't understand the lack of maintaining what was once a beautiful hotel. The lampshade in our room was torn. The lights in the hallway were flickering. There was bad rust on the venting in our bathroom. The bathroom vanity lights had bulbs out. Great Neck is an upscale town - this hotel used to be wonderful - I don't understand what happened!!

"Wedding Room Block & Rehearsal Dinner"
Paradise759477, 23 Août 2021

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at The Inn at Great Neck and also had a hotel room block for our wedding. Let me tell you – Anthony is the best! I would highly recommend working with him. He ensured our rehearsal dinner went smooth and even stayed late to make sure there were no issues. Amy was a wonderful bartended and Patrick was an excellent dinner attendant and made sure our food was served perfectly. The room and menu were gorgeous, and the food was exquisite! We had an absolutely amazing time at the dinner, and I know this was because of his attention to detail. For the room block, everyone checked in with ease and really loved their rooms. There were no hiccups along the way and we were so happy that everyone really seemed happy with their stays. Great hotel and wonderful people, highly recommend!

"Wedding Accommodations"
blevi87, 12 Août 2021

My husband and I recently chose The Inn at Great Neck for the guest hotel for our wedding as well as our rehearsal dinner and morning after brunch. Anthony and his team were amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure that our guests were comfortable and that had everything they needed. No requests was too large or small. When it came to hosting our event, Anthony and his team were quick on their feet when met with obstacles brought on by guests who did not RSVP. They were seamless with the transition and none of my guests new there was an issue! I could not have asked for a better place to stay. When we arrived at the hotel after the wedding, our room was decorated with roses and there was champagne waiting with a lovely note. We felt so incredibly taken care of and special! I would stay here again and I would recommend using The Inn at Great Neck for any future events!

"Bed will be stripped with no sheets for you to sleep on"
naz7474, 11 Août 2021

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding of our friends. We were staying in a room as a couple. My boyfriend left the room early afternoon and came back to the room a total mess. The bed had been stripped with all the sheets removed. My boyfriend called the front desk to have them put sheets on the bed. He even reminded them again as he was leaving for the wedding and they said they would send someone up to make the room. We came back after the wedding around 3 am and the room was still a mess with no sheets to sleep on. We asked the front desk to send someone up and they wouldn't. We had to come down get sheets from them and make the bed ourselves. I complained the next day as we got to bed an hour later after this whole ordeal and they reluctantly gave me a late check out. No apologies or discount. I'm pretty shocked at the service for a hotel this price. It's meant to be a nicer hotel, but the basic services of a hotel were not provided. Would not stay here again and don't recommend it.

"Friendly and convenient"
jdotgarcia, 08 Août 2021

This place was very friendly, affordable and very conveniently located. While it's decore can use an upgrade, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We came for a wedding and they were very attentive during the rehearsal dinner and service was excellent.

"Amazing Hotel!!"

My daughter had a block of rooms and an after party for her wedding. This is a Great Hotel! Clean and a Wonderful team . Anthony was amazing, attentive and professional. The afterparty on the patio was amazing! Great experience overall!! Thank you again Anthony!!

"Wedding of our Dreams!"
erinwalinski, 04 Août 2021

Nothing but praises for Anthony and the amazing team at the Inn at Great Neck for putting our wedding together! After almost two years of planning, having to reschedule, dealing with regulations and safety measures all while surviving a pandemic, they helped us have our happily ever after with our friends and family! They were so accommodating with every changing circumstance. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and friendly faces everywhere! If you are planning your wedding or event and are looking for a no stress and relaxing time, the Inn at Great Neck is your place to go. We traveled almost an hour for our venue because of how welcoming Anthony and Corey were! Thank you again to Maria, Gabby, Yolanda, and Scott as well for everything you did along with Mike and Alex for taking such great care of our guests when they arrived!

"Great Hotel"
RodCece, 03 Août 2021

Great hotel, great experience. The chief engineer Albert goes above and beyond to ensure the facility is running in mint condition always. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Rooms are very clean and well kept. Excellent prices, they ensure all guests enjoy their stay at the hotel.

"Nothing great about the Inn at Great Neck"
usernameAB, 01 Août 2021

Hotel room was musty smelling, noticed some wallpaper peeling, and decor is dated. Felt more like I was staying at a 3 star motel. Stayed there for a wedding weekend in which the actual wedding/reception was elsewhere but the rehearsal dinner was at the inn and the service was profoundly slow. Basically there was a delay of an hour between salad and entree and we only had two servers with a rehearsal party of around 70 people. The brunch the next morning was in a different area that had no A/C. Sorry to say I won't ever go back there.

"No hot water?"
statusone, 01 Août 2021

When I booked this hotel in the town I grew up in, I expected pretty much a 4 star hotel..a few others from my home town had stayed here for HS Reunions, visits, etc. Location was close to the center of town. I asked for an accessible room, and got one ( # 204)..It was not ready when I arrived around 2 pm, so I waited in the lobby and the room was ready about 2:30 pm. I had dinner plans for 6 pm, so I planned to relax till I shaved & showered at about 4:30 pm. When I started to get ready, I ran the shower ( FYI, I shave in the shower..), and waited a few seconds for it to get hot. I noticed the "flow" or "power" was extremely weak...possibly the weakest flow I've ever had in a hotel of this so called caliber. So I stood there with my hand under the water waiting...30 seconds..1 minute...2 minutes...3 minutes..FOUR minutes and the water never got hot..barely lukewarm..I shut it off & called the front desk. They said there was nothing they could do because it was Sunday, and the handyman/ plumber doesn't come in till 8 am Monday. Nobody to fix in house room issues in a 4 star hotel?? So, I took a shower & shaved in cool water..NOT fun! And soooo weak was the flow... The next morning, a guy named Paul came to my room about 9 am and said he was trying to fix the water temp. He said he was NOT the handyman, just a front desk guy. He was running the water in the room next door to me and said, it was fine next door..mine was a little bit warmer, but certainly not "warm" or "hot". He said the handyman comes in at 1 1 am, not 8 am and seemed perturbed when I told him I was told last night he'd be in at 8 am..he kept apologizing and said that the hotel was having problems getting help...at $220 a night , I think hot water should be a given, don't you? So I took another quick shower Monday morning and plan to take another one around 4:30 pm after I had been out in the 90 degree heat all day..Guess what? Again, no hot water! Again I had to shave in cold water.. A few other problems in this hotel- there are NO USB outlets to charge your cell phone, and I lost my adapter earlier in the trip, so I had to go out & get one from CVS..no USB outlets in 2021? The mini bar was also not cold for a few items I placed in there..not cold at all.. Paul did his best, and some of the staff were nice, but when I filled out the survey after I got home stating all my issues with the water & shower, the manager at the Inn at Great Neck sent me a notice stating he was sorry the hotel "didn't meet my expectations" and he'd hoped to have me come back again..I didn't know HOT WATER was an expectation, I thought it is pretty standard..come back again? I don't think so.. BTW, I told him I would not write this review up if he refunded my $223 for the room for one night..I used points for the other night..he never answered me, nor did he refund my VISA, so I guess he'd rather take his chances on a negative review.. So, I wouldn't stay here again even it was free..room #204 beware..no USB...this hotel is about 15 years behind the times..no handyman available 24/7...

"Hotel Disappointment"
michael102160, 19 Juillet 2021

This property was terrible. Air conditioning did not work. Room was changed. No service. We were offered the bellman cart to use as long as we returned it. No room cleaning. No additional towels when asked. No water or soda available. Ruined a nice family event and wedding.

"Terrible experience"
jennifervS2218SI, 16 Juillet 2021

Booked online for 2 nights, arrived late from JFK, checked into room around 11:30pm, room had a terrible smoke smell. Went down to lobby, they did not offer me a different room, just said oh some rooms smell like smoke! Now it is midnight, I canceled 2nd night stay, they could care less.. Room was filthy, found and video taped bugs the next morning, totally grossed out, Stay somewhere else!

"A very Happily ever ending to an amazing wedding!!"
erikafX7791FI, 07 Juillet 2021

Where do I even begin.... As if planning a wedding isn't stressful enough and then becoming a covid bride and having to change our wedding date 3x. We can't express how much we appreciate Anthony and all the staff at the Inn. Since December 2019 when we originally locked in our wedding block, Anthony was nothing but accommodating and pleasant through the whole process. He went above and beyond to make sure my husband, our guests and I had the best experience after a long day of partying. After the wedding when we got to our suite, there were rose pedals all around our bedroom. Anthony left us a thoughtful hand written note and a chilled bottle of champagne that melted our heart. All in all, I can't express enough how Anthony and all the staff helped make our wedding weekend the best it could possibly be. I highly recommend having your wedding block at this hotel.

"Wedding Night"
Katdiprima, 29 Juin 2021

The Inn at Great Neck went above and beyond making my wedding night special. Anthony was always in constant communication with any questions or changes I had. He recommended a wonderful shuttle service for my guests and i. (Ultimate Class Limo). Everything is very personable there and the night stay was so comfy.

"Great Hotel--Best Wedding Weekend Ever!"
soterioss2021, 28 Juin 2021

We had first heard of the Inn at Great Neck when we met with our team at The Village Club at Lake Success. With my husband's family from Westchester, and with several friends from out of town, we decided to book a room block to make our guests' experience more convenient. The Inn at Great Neck didn't just do that--they did more. My husband spoke to Anthony often to ensure that everything would be in order for our guests and for us. From Day 1, Anthony was nothing short of amazing to work with. Such a friendly, patient, and professional point of contact. We had around 100 guests stay at the hotel and they couldn't have been more satisfied. With clean rooms, comfortable beds, and the convenience of the hotel amenities, we were all very pleased with the staff and service at the Inn at Great Neck. Not to mention, the hospitality suite, which was designated for my husband and his groomsmen to get ready in, was an amazing experience for them right before the day started. The convenience of the hotel shuttle to our venue was something our guests could rely on and it gave us one less thing to worry about. Also, the late night bar hours with Gabby and Mike was a huge hit for our guests that wanted to keep the festivities going. Karen at the front desk was so kind and accommodating to our guests--we are extremely grateful to the entire staff for everything they did to make our experience so wonderful. We highly recommend the Inn at Great Neck to any couples looking to book a room block, or to anyone looking for a room in general. Reach out to Anthony as soon as you can--he will exceed your expectations! Stephanie & Soterios

We stayed at the Inn for a June 2021 wedding weekend. Both the rehearsal dinner and after wedding brunch were held at the hotel. The food for both events was excellent! Anthony is very personable and made certain that the ballroom was set-up and decorated as instructed and that everything went smoothly. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Anthony also recommended a local florist who delivered table decorations at a very affordable price. Many of the hotel rooms had balconies and some were suites. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was in an excellent location and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Anthony was amazing at coordinating our wedding (twice!lol) and it was a very busy holiday weekend Saturday night wedding! He accommodated us for a brunch, an after party last minute, and had amazing communication through the whole process. They gave us digital/email hotel booking information so we can tell our guests immediately about room blocks & also paper cards for invites etc. they sent us updated lists as well as guests booked so if we needed to extend our block, we had plenty of time. The day of the wedding, they allowed us to stop in before reception (the bus & roles Royce hung outside and waited and had a couple of drinks at the bar …and it was a very rainy day but the hotel staff was there helping us get back and forth the bus so we didn't get wet. Anthony Helped us set up a shuttle to and from the hotel to the reception as well. It was seamless & also a very clean and efficient shuttle! They also had on the screen in their hotel lobby our wedding shuttle times/ brunch time for our guests so whoever was staying there had the information always. Checkout wasn't until after the private brunch which was also amazing , so no one had to go out of their way for late checkout or skip out of brunch early! (PS the Private brunch was delicious, our guests came and went for the 2 hours we blocked and the food was always refreshed and warm. Beds were very comfortable, and the rooms, bathrooms were very clean!!!! Every staff member were so respectful and kind! Overall great experience. Everything we paid for was worth it and the prices of everything were extremely fair my husband and I were very pleased :)

"As a hotel, leaves much to be desired"
TravJeff, 06 Juin 2021

It appears that the Inn at Great Neck does a brisk business in wedding receptions, and, judging from the reviews, they seem to have many happy customers for such events. As a hotel, the property leaves much to be desired. The best aspects is the location -- near many restaurants, bakeries, LIRR station, etc. But the hotel experience itself was disappointing. Our room was badly overdue for maintenance, with damaged wallpaper, a toilet paper dispenser that was falling apart, and a microwave that emitted a burning smell anytime we used it. When we arrived we were told to self-park in the garage, and that's quite an experience -- getting your car into the garage requires phoning the front desk to have the garage door opened, and once you're inside, you are greeted by what looks like 50 years' accumulation of broken-down equipment, lumber scraps, and the like. Upon check-in we were told that, due to Covid, our room would receive housekeeping service once every four days. In our six night stay, we received no housekeeping service.

"Perfect Hotel Block for Wedding"
FellowTraveler390419, 02 Juin 2021

I have nothing but positive things to stay about the Inn at Great Neck and the staff here. I would highly recommend staying here for any reason, but especially for a hotel block for a wedding or event. We worked closely with Anthony to set up our hotel block for our wedding and he was so incredibly kind & helpful. He went above and beyond. He created a sign for us for our wedding guests, he helped us with transportation to and from the venue, and he was always so responsive and organized. The hotel was a great location, right near so many stores and restaurants and right near the Great Neck train. The hotel is beautiful and rooms were so comfortable.

For my wedding weekend I had my groomsmen stay here and we did our rehearsal dinner there. Anthony and Karen were very attentive to me and my bridal parties needs . The dinner was amazing and the unlimited wine was truly unlimited . I would definitely send anyone who ever ask where's the best place to stay in Great Neck. When choosing your meal , chose the chicken Parmesan . It was so delicious !

"What a dump! Discourteous management, cheap amenities, noisy, unaccommodating. Stay away.."
Rick A, 31 Mai 2021

We stayed two nights over Memorial Day weekend. Here's what we experienced: Valet parking was full so had to park on the street and move the car by 9am Saturday morning; housekeeping staff talking to each other loudly in the hallway very early Saturday and Sunday morning; housekeeping walked into our room without knocking while we were dressing; no large bath towels, only hand towels and small shower towels; no hangers in the closet; manager would not give us one hour late checkout and hung up on me. If we ever have to be in Great Neck again, we'll use Air BnB instead. Inn at Great Neck is an absolute dump.

"Host Your Wedding Block Here!"
581matthewo, 16 Mai 2021

First, let me start by saying, I switched my wedding block from another hotel to this one. The first hotel I was using had awful customer service and the coordinator was extremely unresponsive. Anthony, at the Inn at Great Neck wasn't just the complete opposite, but he was beyond incredible. He always responded in a timely manner, even providing me with his cell phone to reach him at any time. He provided me with support in making sure my bridal party received double bed rooms so that they could share and save some money. When our wedding was postponed due to the pandemic, he was empathetic to our situation and he made sure our wedding plans were rescheduled as they were for our new date. He set aside some time a week before everything occurred to talk through all of our plans and see if there was anything else we needed, including arrangements to hand out gift bags to all of the guests that we were bringing. I planned to stay at the hotel the night before my wedding to be there in the morning to get dressed with my groomsmen, and I decided 2 days before that I wanted to get some food for all of them. A late evening text to Anthony on his day off and he had a menu back to me to choose from to be delivered to the room at the time I chose. During the stay at the hotel, the concierge Karen consistently checked in on me via text message to see if there was anything I needed and to see how my stay was. After my wedding, Anthony helped set up a late bar with some snack foods in order to allow for the late bar to be open until 1AM which was the guidelines for COVID at the time. The bar tenders Mercedes, Gabriel and Jeliel were so kind. There was never a line at the bar due to their quick work and at the end of the night they left us pitchers of water after they wrapped up. They kept me aware of the ongoing tab after we passed the initial approved amount as well which was extremely nice to make sure we could decide to keep the party going. The hotel had our room cleaned after we left it in a rush to go to the ceremony and they even draped rose petals all over the floor in the room and around the tub. Anthony left us a thoughtful hand written note and a chilled bottle of champagne as well. We also had a brunch the next morning with Mercedes and Gabriel back to help again as well as Soby. All of the food was delicious, which after the night before was exactly what was needed. All in all, I can't express enough how Anthony and all the staff helped make our wedding weekend the best it could possibly be. I highly recommend having your wedding block at this hotel.

The your Valet was Phenomenal such a hard worker! The Manager who greeted my daughter and me took our photo was both polite and oh so welcoming. The food was exquisite and the servers were all polite tans very accommodating. When I asked if the breakfast meats were pork, I was immediately informed I would get chicken sausage delivered to my table. I will most certainly return to this establishment. An enjoyable Mother's Day Brunch Thankyou D. Clark

I can't express my appreciation for Anthony and all staff at the inn at Great Neck! All interactions were professional and my event was amazing thanks to everyone! Especially the sales manager Anthony!

"Best Wedding Hotel on LI!"
EileenWalsh24, 25 Avril 2021

I had my wedding at the Inn at New Hyde Park yesterday and spent two nights at the Inn at Great Neck. To set up our room block and plan for our day, we worked with Anthony. Anthony was an absolute pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond to make sure everything about our stay went perfect. The rate for the room block was so reasonable and they made it easy for my guests to book with our group code. He set up a bridal hospitality room in what is actually a boardroom for me and my bridal party to get hair and makeup done. They set up high chairs and mirrors. They also brought us mimosas to drink. He coordinated having my hotel room directly across from this room so we could go back and forth easily. It was the perfect space! I suggest any bride booking here go for this room if it's available. Our hotel room was very nice. It was clean and the decor fit the style of the hotel well. When my husband and I returned after our wedding, they had champagne and rose petals on the floor. It was a nice surprise to come back to at the end of a long day. I highly suggest using the Inn at Great Neck if you're having a wedding near by it!

"Great Location"
Michelle G, 22 Avril 2021

I choose the Inn at Great Neck because it was close to my wedding venue, there is a great dinner a few blocks down and a bagel store that can accommodate breakfast for the morning of. We coordinated with Anthony Ferrossa, sales manager he is very kind, attentive, welcoming and caring. He answered all our questions, my wedding was pushed back due to covid and he made it easy for us to do everything online so no additional travel was needed to ensure the room block was secured. While getting ready we were able to an additional chair up within minutes. The staff made sure no time was wasted. The rooms placement was done well so that the bride or groom did not see each other. The Inn decor was very nice, I really liked the pictures in all the rooms. This hotel has a wonderful promotion, which unfortunately I was not able to take advantage of, if your room block has 10 rooms you are able to get a free shuttle van to your venue. What a wonderful bonus, so if you have a lot of guests flying in or staying the night then this is the place for you!

"GREAT HOTEL FOR MY SPECIAL DAY!"
I8832HOdanad, 11 Avril 2021

I can not thank the Inn At Great Neck for accommodating me on the most important day of my life. I booked a suite and the dressing room with ease. The room was nice and large enough for my bridesmaids to hang out if they were not getting hair or make up done. The dressing room/conference room was a must and perfect for what we needed, especially because I had a larger bridal party. The room was open and set up perfectly for us with long mirrors and chairs for hair and make up. Anthony was their for me every single step of the way. He was so accommodating in offering late check out, asking how the dressing room needed to be set up, and emailing me through out the process. Anthony Ferrossa is your go to person if you need to set up something at this hotel. Especially if it's your wedding, he was absolutely amazing. My wedding has been rescheduled from 2020 due to COVID and when we finally got to try again this year, I am so happy we picked the Inn at Great Neck for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready. I would highly recommend !!!

"Daughter's Bridal Shower"
Israela S, 09 Avril 2021

The Inn was a beautiful place to host my daughter's shower. Anthony, the Social Sales Manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was attentive beyond every expectation. He worked with me to plan the perfect event. Our servers Mercedes and Jeliel were top notch! I highly recommend this amazing place.

"Wedding Block"
ashleymP4084AZj, 27 Mars 2021

We booked The Inn at Great Neck for our wedding block and we are so glad that we did!! We worked with Anthony who was very attentive, answered emails right away and was very friendly. They were so understanding through out this whole pandemic and definitely did right by us! All our guests said their rooms were very nice and clean.

"Ruined valentines day"
sharanw2020, 16 Février 2021

Very long wait to check in. Only one staff person working at certain times therefore no one answers the phone. There was no valet even though they charged $15 for valet parking and since it was only one staff member it took 20 minutes for the garage door to open. The garage is really a dungeon/ storage facility with no clear marking to park. The room was nice however the television didn't work. There was no engineer on duty so it was never fixed. The restaurant had nice decor however the food took extremely long. We were there for three hours and finally just left after waiting 35 minutes for the dessert. My Valentine's Day was ruined by this hotel and to top it off they charged the credit card over$500. Currently trying to dispute this charge. This hotel is a rip off. Don't give them your credit card information or they will treat it like their personal piggy bank. Never again

"ENOUGH HAIR IN THE LINENS TO MAKE A WIG!!"
elizabethg158, 30 Janvier 2021

Don't get me wrong, the hotel is nice, the room was very spacious and comfortable, great mattress... But there was enough hair in the linens to make a wig! It started with one hair peeking out of the fancy folded towel, I laughed as I pulled on it and it just kept coming, it was long! I don't get grossed out easily and hey, hair happens. But then we pulled back the sheet and the amount of hair stuck to the blanket beneath was far from funny. It was just everywhere, long dark hairs stuck everywhere, and a few short curly hairs too if you know what I mean. We got our the spare blanket from the closet thinking we would just use that on top of the bed, but that was even worse! I attached a photo, and every square inch of the blanket looked exactly the same. We were already pretty settled and I had surgery scheduled for the next day (we came from out of state specifically for me to have brain surgery at the local hospital) so we decided to grin and bear it rather than ask to switch rooms, because the linens would likely be just as bad in another room. They're all laundered the same, right? So I spent 2 days picking a stranger's hair out of my bed trying to hide it from. My husband so he would get grossed out. I showed the photo to the manager at check out, she said she would mention it to the cleaning staff but nothing more, didn't offer to take anything off the bill, nothing. My surgery had to be delayed, so we have to come back again and we'll stay here again. Because it is the best value in the area, but we will thoroughly check the room before making ourselves comfortable.

"Peaceful stay"
joannez117, 22 Décembre 2020

The bed was comfortable and the service was top notch! The garage has security like Fort Knox. The hotel has thick walls, so you don't hear people slamming doors or talking next door. The room had plenty of lights.

"Nice Place"
Edward1976, 22 Décembre 2020

This place was very nice, clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. i was worried being next to the train tracks it would be noisy but it wasn't at all. They have valet parking but don't recommend and full size trucks unless you are a experience driver.

"Rehearsal wedding event"
166stuartf, 09 Novembre 2020

I can't give enough praise for Anthony and the staff at the Inn at Great Neck. We had a family event and needed 9 rooms during the pandemic. Everything was done to perfection. My guests were so impressed with the hotel from A to Z. All COVID protocols were followed and my guests were very comfortable to stay there. Everything that was promised to be done was executed with care and to perfection. I highly recommend the Inn at Great Neck. One could not find a finer hotel. Thanks for everything!!

"Rooms need to be checked more thoroughly"
FrGeo, 17 Octobre 2020

The staff, and to check in and check out experience was pleasant enough. The room was a good size And was well appointed. However, there are numerous items in the room (fridge, iron, toilet) that needed to be replaced or repaired. Some of those items could've been repaired during our stay but were not.

"Hotel stay"
Lfish9111112, 12 Octobre 2020

The INN at Great Neck went above and beyond for us. We booked them for our wedding stay and after party. Once the pandemic hit our plans changed a million times- and the hotel was nothing but sympathetic and accommodating throughout ALL of it. I stayed two nights and in two different rooms. Both rooms were clean, beautiful and spacious. Anthony went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. All staff wore masks and temperature checks were enforced. I would stay at this hotel again and again and again!

"Wedding"
512jamiey, 23 Septembre 2020

Anthony (sales manager) was fantastic he was always checking in on my husband and I and made sure we were always comfortable and had everything we needed. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. Anthony was always on top of everything going on and kept us in the loop at all times. Anthony surprised us with champagne and roses after we got married which was so sweet and made our night. Anthony is genuine and caring I would only go to his hotel just because I know I will be treated well by him and the staff whenever I stay there in the future. Alberto (engineer/ handyman) was there to save the day if we needed anything. Our mini fridge was not working so Alberto quickly got us a new mini fridge. We needed more light in the room, Alberto brought us a lamp. He went above and beyond to help us. This hotel is more than 5 stars it's 10+ it's incredible !!!!

"First Communion- Covid 19 times"
raquelpY811BM, 20 Septembre 2020

My daughter's first communion came out perfect with Anthony's help (Social manager), I had 3 days to plan this event and he made it so easy for me. Signs were posted, tables indicators, set up, lighting, temp taken, waivers for all our guest at the lobby. Thank you to Chef Oral , every single guest had something good to say about the amazing food . Service Staff - Mercedes very helpful and always wearing a mask and gloves. Alex, very friendly when receiving guest. The Inn at Great Neck gave me that peace of mined since I felt that the staff and property are totally prepared regarding sanitation for you and your guest to feel safe in this difficult times that we are facing due to Covid19.

"Fabulous Staff and Service"
nataliegN4908QB, 10 Septembre 2020

I ended up booking a last minute hotel block for my wedding at the Inn at Great, and the staff was super helpful in accommodating all of our needs. I was able to get a bridal suite earlier on in the day for my whole bridal crew to get hair and makeup done, and they didn't miss a beat - even brought a stand for the dress! So impressed, and highly recommend!

"Bridal Shower -- In the time of COVID-19"
CCCourtney724, 29 Août 2020

Inn hosted my Bridal Shower which was about 32 guests. It exceeded my expectations! Anthony was easy & wonderful to work with when creating the menu, table arrangements and overall day of plans. Everything was perfect and completely COVID-19 compliant & safe. At no time, did our guests have concerns or issues when it came to their health. The service staff of Mercedes & Soby cared to everyone's need who wore gloves & masks the entire time. If you're looking to have an event here -- I highly recommend.

"The Inn @ Great Neck is Excellent"
amwillie, 09 Août 2020

The Inn at Great Neck unexpectedly became our new home after storm damage and power outages forced us to vacate. We were welcomed with open arms by the excellent staff: Anthony, Stephanie, Paul, Felix and Karen. These folks were absolutely phenomenal - each doing the job of three or more people at once due to the sudden influx of guests - and all in the middle of a pandemic. We couldn't rate our stay more highly than 5 stars or we would have! Thanks again to all of you for making us comfortable.

"Wedding Bridal Room Block"
hailsill, 06 Août 2020

The Inn at Great Neck, and especially Anthony, was wonderful. Paul, Karen, and Nick from the Front Desk were all very helpful and made my wedding room block experience excellent. Thank you to the Inn at Great Neck team!

"Wonderful Hotel!!"
mgendel, 06 Août 2020

My friend and I stayed at the hotel with her parents for her wedding weekend. Anthony and his staff were incredible!! They thought of everything - there was a dress rack, dress stand, and high makeup chair already in our room when we arrived. They gave us early access to the honeymoon suite the day of the wedding so that we could get ready in there. They even surprised my friend and her new husband by creating a rose petal walkway and putting rose petals on the bed when the arrived back at the hotel after the wedding. I called them with so many requests and questions and they were quick to respond and provide us with everything we needed and more. It was a wonderful stay and I can't thank them enough for taking care of us!!

"This hotel was a GODSEND"
Henry S, 29 Juillet 2020

I had to travel to New York in mid-July 2020 under very trying circumstances. The Inn at Great Neck furnished as stress-free an environment as I could have hoped for. I ended up making reservations about a day before arriving. From my very first contact with an angel named Stephanie to subsequent encounters with staffers including, but not limited to, Nick and Corinne, every single staffer at The Inn at Great Neck was gracious, considerate and supportive beyond belief. If they can be this wonderful to ME under very trying circumstances, my mind boggles at how they would treat YOU under far more relaxed conditions. I had a choice of where to stay during a very stressful visit to New York, and words simply cannot express how grateful I am that I opted to stay at The Inn at Great Neck! I want to proffer a HEARTFELT THANK YOU to everyone at the hotel who helped to make my visit good as it turned out to be!

"Exceptional stay"
andychambers2020, 25 Juillet 2020

Cannot say enough about the wonderful staff and amenities in the heart of Great Neck Plaza. Great area for restaurants and shopping. Exceptional bed for comfortable sleep. The restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating is beautiful.

"Just like family"
JaimeRN0517, 11 Juillet 2020

This might be a lengthy review but it is indeed worth the read. This hotel isn't like the regular functioning business hotel where you check in, do your thing, and leave. The people here make you immediately feel like you are a part of their family. I stayed here as a travel nurse during the COVID 19 pandemic and the staff at the hotel literally made this experience for me. I cannot tell you how thankful I am to have found this hotel and this staff. To start, when I had called to book my reservation they were super attentive about my concerns and reservations about actually booking. They offer you a choice between a balcony or a kitchenette and they have different rooms you can choose from to make you really feel most at home. They have a parking garage so you don't have to worry about street parking or have concerns about your car. They text you every couple of days to just check in on you and see if you need anything. If you do need anything, just give them a call and they automatically will go out of their way to get it done and what is even more amazing is, is that they are truly HAPPY to do it. They have house keepers that come and clean your room and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that because at my prior hotel the staff would not enter your room for any reason during the COVID 19 crisis. They have a restaurant there that has a DELICIOUS breakfast and a menu that anyone in your family can find something they like on. The best part though, is that all of the staff have become my friends. If you want company they will sit down and talk with you over dinners or coffee or whatever. They really take you in. Prior to my move I was mainly just working and sleeping, I didn't really know anyone and didn't even know where to start with things to do. The staff here has gotten me out to do things and really taken it upon themselves to make sure that not just my hotel experience is amazing but my whole experience in New York is amazing. They are truly beyond words for the way they work here. And remember, this is during COVID so they are running on minimal staff and they were still able to provide this treatment. Thank you to everyone involved in my stay including Anthony, Nick, Mercedes, Karen, Michael, Carmen, Paul, and Stephanie. Just one last thing, everything you need is literally within walking distance. The train, the market place, restaurants, laundry mat, coffee, etc.

"Staff was wonderful"

Very helpful front desk, bucket of ice, directions, parking garage, cold AC !! Very comfy hotel, very nice for the price, first floor balcony overlooking the Lobby area. And I must keep typing until I reach 200 letters or this review will not post !!!

"Awesome stay at Inn Great Hotel"
fasia2018, 20 Mars 2020

We had our wedding at Leonard Palazzo and we're recommended to have our room block at this hotel. I'd like to first say that Anthony has been a stand up guy and professionally handled our group. Upon check-in, his staff of Michael and Stephanie welcomed us with exceptional service and accommodated particular requests. Once checked-in, the staff was very helpful with directing our guests and assisting with a shuttle service to the venue. The night of the wedding, Anthony kept the bar open late for us to continue the partying! The bartender was attentive and accommodated our music requests. Lastly, check-Out was seamless and any hiccups that came up Anthony handled seamlessly. Big thank you to the entire team and Anthony for going above and beyond for making our big day special!

"Great stay. Wonderful staff."
timS8757FX, 08 Mars 2020

Hotel was staffed very well. Gave attention to my needs. Was always very friendly and exceeded my expectations. Great price value. Would stay again. Restaurant offered fine dining and traditional foods. Overall experience was very good. Didn't have any negatives.

"Avoid"
Safari084763224626, 06 Mars 2020

Room and hallways were dirty, heater didn't work, restaurant was disappointing, and exercise room was a joke (and dirty). Although the location was convenient, I will not be staying here again. Also, be aware that the train runs right behind the hotel and it's loud.

"Great place to relax in great neck"

Great neck village has many nice shops and the inn at great neck is a nice hotel with a casual relaxing bar and lobby. I recently met some friends there and we enjoyed some wine and cocktails in the late evening.

"Exceptional Stay"

Quick trip for a candidate visit to USMMA. Inn at Great Neck was a wonderful place to stay. Great location to campus. Hotel was clean, staff was attentive, food at the restaurant was good. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to the area. Felix is a gem!

"A Wonderful Weekend!"
Rbex93, 03 Mars 2020

I made my son's Bar Mitzvah weekend at the Inn at Great Neck and would recommend this hotel to anyone! We used about 40 rooms and had excellent service. Michael and Anthony were incredibly helpful throughout all of the planning and made me and my guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout the whole visit. The entire staff, including Julio and James were wonderful. I would stay at this hotel again!

"Valentines Day and Wedding Weekend"
Dtr215, 03 Mars 2020

Anthony...we want to thank you for your exceptional service and your courteous and professional manner. Your assistance with our arrangements associated with our daughter's wedding was top notch. Everything went smoothly and helped us to focus on each special part of the celebration. The rooms were beautiful (both ours and the Bridal Suite) and the Valentine's dinner on Fri night was delicious. Sunday's breakfast brunch was just perfect to unwind with our family and friends that stayed at the hotel after celebrating our daughter's wedding that was held nearby. We will definitely recommend The Inn at Great Neck for an awesome experience. Michael - thank you again for the superb service you provided to us. Everything was top notch and your friendly and professional manner helped to ease our stress :) We will definitely recommend The Inn at Great Neck to friends and family that this is the place to stay! Our out of town guests commented on how awesome and attentive your staff was during the weekend and especially at the Valentine's Dinner. We had 12 for dinner and our server was so pleasant and energetic. Thank you again!

"Nice comfortable hotel"
shatekab2016, 26 Février 2020

I stayed here on business for a couple of days. Everyone from check in to check out was so kind and accommodating. The only thing is I wished that the Wifi was better. I had to use my cell as a hotspot to complete some work I had had to get done online. That's why I gave a rating of 4 stars. Other than that, this hotel is very nice and I would recommend it to anyone to stay.

"Excellent customer service"
Masham2219037, 31 Janvier 2020

My in laws room did not have heat for the first night of their stay. They were given a space heater for one night which obviously upset us. I went to James a manager at the front desk and he immediately refunded the night and gave them a new room in five minutes . He was Extremely professional and courteous. Thank you for understanding

"Birthday celebration"

"Location and Service"
FHANDS, 17 Décembre 2019

I recently had a wedding at the Hotel, and booked over 25 rooms for out of town guests. The rates were very fair, and the Guest Service team was very helpful. They helped with transportation, and the Sunday brunch for out of town guests staying there. The brunch was the only food i can review here, but it was very good. Gabby, Kareem & Julio did a great job making omelettes and eggs, the other amenities from Juice to coffee to muffins to bagels were all excellent. They also did a nice job clearing plates and dishes. The key to the event as well as throughout the Booking Process was with Anthony Ferrerosa, Sales Manager. He was very helpful and intuitive throughout the process. Many thanks to all. It was a great weekend.

"4th High School Reunion"
gailwX3320LV, 04 Décembre 2019

The venue, food and service were outstanding. Our events coordinator, Anthony was warm and professional. He surprised us with many beautiful details such as lighting with our school colors, and customized menus with lots of school signage everywhere to make our reunion extra special. The dining and cocktail rooms looked amazing. All Anthony's ideas were point on, and he and his colleague Michael made themselves available at all times. They were so courteous as well as the entire staff of "The Inn At Great Neck." Everyone was so accommodating and they attended to all our requests. The evening ran very smoothly and turned out more amazing than we had imagined. All our guests had nothing but high praise for our first reunion in forty years. Thank you Anthony and The Inn at Great Neck! We are are already planning our next reunion there!!

"Reservations should Matter"
IraBfromCSG, 04 Décembre 2019

Arriving excitedly for a 5-day trip to the hotel, I was told at check-in that the type of room I had reserved (balcony) was not available. What a shame to be told that after having reserved the room months earlier, and paying more than standard for the room. The front desk representative told me that she'd add breakfast to the room to make it right, which I understood as a daily breakfast - Later I found that it was breakfast for one day, using a slimmed-down voucher-menu...Hardly fair compensation. The room itself is large, but the beds in the two-bed rooms are smaller than queen beds, seemingly full-size. There are good aspects, including a fridge in the room, great shower pressure, and bathroom supplies refilled plentifully. The hotel is within walking distance to the train station, with easy access to Manhattan. On the last day at checkout, the elevators stopped working. I had the unfortunate experience of carrying three large suitcases down 5-stories, not something I planned to due at the age of 50+, but we had a flight to catch. Overall, a fine location, just a few problems with basic execution.

"Wedding Block Accommodations Made Easy"
paigeegiap, 18 Novembre 2019

I worked with Anthony, the social sales manager, at the Inn at Great Neck to reserve the room block for my wedding guests and the space to host a morning-after brunch. Anthony was so easy to work with. He and Michael, the sales coordinator, were always helpful, professional, and courteous. They were quick to respond to my phone calls and emails and capably handled all of my (many) requests. I made a serious error in judgment during the planning process and Anthony saved the day! I had previously secured a smaller room at the Inn for Sunday brunch, but when A LOT more guests than we had anticipated confirmed they would attend, Anthony came up with a quick solution and relieved me of having to find an entirely different venue for the brunch less than 2 weeks ahead of my wedding! Rather than a room that could maybe hold 30, he sectioned off an area of the restaurant that could accommodate 70 - without any additional charge or guaranteed/minimum headcount. I am so grateful for Anthony's constant willingness to go above and beyond. Working with him was the least stressful part of my wedding planning. I'm also thankful to the rest of the staff at the Inn at Great Neck for their service - for reconfiguring room reservations so no one was left bedless, handing out gift bags to arrivals, continuously replenishing chafer dishes and silverware for the mob of brunch attendees, and decorating the bridal suite to make even bedtime special. And if you, reader, couldn't already tell, I highly recommend the Inn at Great Neck! Also - aside from the service - I recommend the Inn at Great Neck for its location. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the Long Island Railroad and right in the center of town, just off Middle Neck Road. Guests can find anything they need right around the corner - pharmacies, coffee shops and restaurants, boutique shopping, and beauty salons.

"It was o.k."
Arlene R, 08 Novembre 2019

On January 24, 2019 I called to make a reservation for November 1-3, 2019 for my niece's wedding. I requested a handicap accessible room. I was told me they were already reserved for other guests and I had no choice but to reserve a regular room. In the comments area I requested to be notified if an accessible room opened up. I called twice and was told that the accessible room was still not available, the last call being made was two or three days before check in, the person at the hotel telling me she'll definitely make a note and will give me that room if there's a cancellation. Upon check in, I was told there was no cancellation on the accessible room and then found out that my ex sister in law reserved the room to which I found strange because she is fully able bodied with no physical disabilities. She did switch rooms with me. If this room was reserved for a non family member, I would have been stuck in having problems doing certain tasks. The beds were 30 inches high which is too high for persons with physical disabilities. The height should be between 22 and 25 inches high. I didn't know that I could have requested that the beds be lowered. I filed a complaint with their 800 customer service number. When I spoke to the manager of the hotel, Nicholas, he kept insisting that I booked a regular room and I kept telling him I was told they didn't have a accessible room. I don't know what he didn't understand. I was comped for one night and not both nights.

"Always a pleasure "

The Inn at Great Neck was incredibly helpful over the course of our entire wedding planning. Anthony and Michael were very responsive and accommodating. All of our guests were very happy with the experience and we'd recommend the Inn at Great Neck to anyone planning a wedding nearby!

The staff of the Inn of Great Neck went out of their way to make our guests enjoy their evening at the Inn. The food was presented beautifully and served to perfection. The staff was kind to both the adults and the children. Having a party at the Inn ensures a holiday dinner enjoyed by all with none of the cleanup!!

"Pleasantly Surprised!"

We came here for a wedding which was held at the Inn at New Hyde Park (about 20 minutes away). We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room & decor. Everything went smoothly. Service was very good. Price was reasonable. Hotel provided good shuttle service to & from the wedding venue.

Thank you to Anthony for ensuring me it would all work out fine. Thanks to Julio for really stepping up and helping me with anything I needed <3. From the helpful lady at the front desk to the guy who helped carry things in for me

"Amazing service!"
SERmeetingplanner, 09 Octobre 2019

I stayed at The Inn at Great Neck earlier this month for a business trip. I felt compelled to write this review because the front desk staff was amazing! Stephanie and Lance were so friendly and helpful! Staying (and working) in plenty of hotels, I have never met an overnight agent who was so friendly and professional - even in the large hotel chains. I was very pleasantly surprised by this. Also, very cute little town with lots of walkable restaurants/shops and convenient to the LIRR. (Keep in mind - VERY close to the train but it doesn't run overnight so it will not disturb your sleep.) Keep up the good work front desk staff!

"Very nice hotel"
anne A, 05 Octobre 2019

I always preface my 4 star hotel reviews by saying that I reserve 5 stars for super luxurious hotels. This hotel was lovely, but not 5 star! The room was on the larger side, had a nice big bathroom and a little fridge/coffee area, plus a sofa and desk seating area. The bed was very comfy. Our room looked out into the back of the building to nothing special, but then again, I doubt any of the rooms had much of a view. The check in process was easy, and they even had our room available early. The parking is valet, but was efficient enough. We only stayed one night for a wedding, but did have a very comfortable stay. They are also part of the Best Western rewards program, so that was a nice, unexpected bonus!

"Love, Laughter and Happily Ever After!"
Lauren V, 04 Octobre 2019

A huge thank you to Anthony, Michael, Karen, Stephanie, Christopher and the rest of the Inn at Great Neck staff who made my wedding weekend a complete success! As soon as we met Anthony, my now-husband, Edward and I were impressed by his professionalism, attention to detail and availability to answer our questions and concerns. Via email or by phone, Anthony designed a weekend for my family and wedding guests, even providing us his favorite hotspots and restaurants in Great Neck. This lovely boutique was quite hospitable, even offering champagne as a check-in option. The rooms were immaculate and the amenities were bountiful. Even with a change in the plans and we needed a handicap accessible room right away, Anthony and Michael were quick to grant my new mother-in-law a room to fit her needs. Our bridal suite was beautiful and natural light lit it up for my photography team! My make-up artist and hair team commented on the ease of working on the bridal party is such a suite. Housekeeping and room service were quick and efficient when it came to turning over our room and delivered breakfast for my bridal party and guests so quickly. Christopher was our shuttle driver who had the explicit duty to deliver the bridal party and I to our venue and back. He was attentive and my guests gushed at his friendliness and humor. The morning after our wedding the Inn at Great Neck held a brunch for guests. The food was delicious—yogurt parfaits, fresh pastries, eggs, turkey bacon and sausage, fresh fruit and pitchers of mimosas and Bloody Marys. Our wedding weekend was officially complete. Thank you for making our wedding accommodations easy and worry-free!

"Our Family Holiday Event Was a Huge Success!"
Joan G, 03 Octobre 2019

Anthony, The Inn at Great Neck's Social Sales Manager helped me plan our event and was there to help on event day. The event space “Board Room” was perfect. Our servers Martha & Kareem were delightful and very accommodating. Food & presentation excellent. What more can I say!

"Quick Anniversary Getaway"
Matthew B, 01 Octobre 2019

My wife and I decided to do a quick getaway for our anniversary. Since we wanted to check out Sands Point Preserve (20 minutes away) we decided to stay at the Inn At Great Neck for the night. When we arrived, valet immediately met us and took car of our car. Check in was quick and smooth. Our room was spacious, clean, and my wife LOVED the shower. The balcony was def a plus! We were able to relax outside in the nice weather and enjoy a nice glass of wine before dinner. Since there was a private event in the hotel's restaurant, we took a nice strool onto their main street and had dinner out there. After a comfortable nights sleep, we enjoyed their hot breakfast buffet. All in all we enjoyed our stay, from service to accomodations. Thank you!

"Wedding Night Stay for Bride & Groom, Family & Out-of-Town Guests"
kevin r, 26 Septembre 2019

Recently booked block of rooms for my daughter's wedding. We first visited the hotel to see the rooms and property and the staff was very accommodating. From there, worked with Sales Manager Anthony Ferrerosa who was extremely helpful and always available to answer questions and assist us with all of our needs. Overall was very happy with everything and our guests who stayed their loved the rooms, which were spacious and spotless. Our post wedding breakfast the next morning went of without a hitch and the food and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay anywhere near the Great Neck area whether it's for a special event of otherwise.

"Beware of group bookings "
PPS12345, 23 Septembre 2019

We booked a block of 10 rooms and a function room on the weekend of our daughter's wedding. The function room was for Friday night and Saturday meals which we had arranged with an outside kosher restaurant. I booked everything in April and signed a contract. All was well at that point and the person I had been dealing with was very helpful. Two weeks before the event I contacted the hotel with some questions only to find that the person I had been dealing with was no longer working there. I was then told that the hotel would not honor the contracted rate for the event room because it had not been approved by the manager. When I emailed them the signed contract they agreed to honor the room rate but then added on other fees and charges which had not been previously agreed. The new person dealing with group bookings was incredibly rude and abrasive and the manager was inflexible and indifferent. It felt like I was being penalized for their prior employee's apparent lapses in following their internal process. They started throwing up all kinds of obstacles and were very difficult to deal with. A week before the wedding when I hadn't yet signed the revised contract they threatened to cancel the event - a week before the wedding! In the end I signed the revised contract under duress, noting that they were leaving me with no choice a week before my daughter's wedding. In the end, the weekend went off without a hitch. The hotel is adequate (nothing special), highly overpriced for what it is (albeit it was Labor Day weekend aobteh rates were higher than normal), and our room backed onto the railway tracks. Considering I was spending thousands of dollars at the hotel, I thought they might have given me a decent room. Some of the staff were helpful and others not particularly. I arrived with a minivan full of stuff to unload, and the most help I received from the bell person was that he brought over a cart and pointed me to the elevator as I struggled to wheel it in! The generous tip I had prepared in my pocket stayed there. I got a bit more help checking out. So the service levels are hit and miss. The rooms are large but dated and generally the hotel is ready for a major rehab. Clearly there is a management problem here and I would advise anyone doing a group booking or renting a room for an event to be very cautious.

"Looking to Block Rooms for your Wedding? Look No further"
milenicebukovsky_, 19 Septembre 2019

My husband and I wanted blocked rooms out for our wedding this past Saturday 09/14/2019, and working with Anthony (Social Sales Manager) made everything so easy. We had a big group coming from upstate / out of state, so we wanted to make sure we accommodated them fully bc they came all the way to Long Island for our wedding at Leonards Palazzo which was 5 minutes away. Setting everything up was a breeze from blocking rooms, to setting up the shuttle and late bar, to even LAST MINUTE wanting to set up a catered breakfast for the morning after our wedding. Anthony made sure everything worked out for us. Our wedding started and ended at the Inn at Great Neck and my husband and I couldn't be happier!

"Good to stay"
Traveler68090177566, 16 Septembre 2019

Great experience here. Hotel staffs are nice and helpful. Rooms are very clean and looks nice. Although I only stayed here only for 1 night due to business meeting, I will the place is still impressive.

"do not stay here"
GusK540, 13 Septembre 2019

Expedia completely screwed up our reservation and the management of the hotel could not have cared less. They basically said "it's not our problem." Avoid staying here, they don't care about you. Dirty room? Too bad.

"Wonderful stay in Long Island"
950bridgetm, 01 Septembre 2019

Stayed here for business and had a wonderful stay. Great hotel with lots of character, very clean and comfortable. The team was wonderful in service to do anything to help you. Great hotel of choice if in this area.

"Poor, Rude and wrong attitude"
svatsa, 30 Août 2019

he hotel and accommodation was fine. The issue is about discrimination. The issue was food - breakfast. The coffee was cold and the food given was not consistent with the order. Coffee was cold, the food was almost inedible. On talking to the manager - Anthony Sarrosa - he said he knows his food is good and he does not care (literally his words) of what i think and i have to pay the bill (which i did not say i would not) and told me never to come back. As an Indian he double checked to see if I had the credit status to pay the bill. I have tried to reach out to Nicholas to call me so that i can provide the input but he has also not bothered. In 30 years of living in USA this is the first discrimination case i have come across and it seems the hotel does not care

"Wonderful service"
Satnarain1, 26 Août 2019

Our group of family and friends stayed at the hotel for a few days, as my son and now daughter-in-law were holding their wedding reception 5 minutes away. Location of the hotel was great and the bed was very comfortable, however, most importantly, the service provided for our wedding party was outstanding. A special thank you to Mercedes who worked the very busy bar/restaurant on Friday night. Our group of 25+ people clearly kept her busy, but she was swift in making our drinks and had a great attitude, even though she was clearly busy between both the bar and restaurant. Also a VERY big thank you to Anthony Ferrerosa who handled all of our requests and accommodations before arrival. The service Anthony provided really allowed us to focus and enjoy this special time. Thank you so much!

"Too much"
Bruce K, 23 Août 2019

My wife and I recently stayed here. We used to live near by and had always heard good things about this hotel, and saw that the ratings were really good. I'm not sure what people are raving about. The pluses were the staff and the location. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and you're only a block away from the LIRR which gets you into Manhattan in about 30 minutes or so. The problem is that, for the money, it is a very tired hotel. Wallpaper is bubbling up off the walls, the carpeting is old and worn. It just seemed kind of dingy. When we arrived the elevator was out, so the lady at the desk said we needed to carry our bags up the stairs. The stairs were very narrow and steep, not something I wanted to tackle. Then we come to find out there was a service elevator and someone could help us with the bags. That started us off on the wrong foot. The bed also was not the greatest. I felt like I was on an old mattress, you know that little dip in the middle kind of thing. Overall this was not a really good experience, especially considering what we paid. I had stayed the night before in a Red Roof in which was much cheaper, cleaner and nicer.

"Debbie S"
Debbie S, 31 Juillet 2019

We had a great stay at the Inn at Great Neck. The staff was friendly and attentive. We particularly have the highest praises for Ilene Milman who took great care of our family during our stay. She was absolutely wonderful!!!

"Hotel Block"
Patricia N, 29 Juillet 2019

We used the Inn at Great Neck for our hotel wedding block. The staff was great to work with. Along with the block of rooms, we had rented a hospitality room between our wedding ceremony and reception, where guests had a place to mingle and have some light refreshments. We had a shuttle to get guests to and from the venue, which was punctual, clean, and our guests were very happy to have this as an option. We also had an after party at the hotel bar and a buffet brunch the next day. The food was phenomenal and the staff kept checking on the buffet. My husband and I had the bridal suite, and we came back from our wedding to rose petals and a bottle of champagne, which was a nice touch.

"Lovely, uplifting and beautifully flowing space!"
Aida d, 28 Juillet 2019

The room was relaxing and stylish, all the amenities were easy and classy. Our hostess Ilene Milman couldn't have been more accommodating and Gracious! We were there for a family funeral and celebration of life and Ms. Milman and her staff treated us with the utmost compassion and respect. The Celebration of Life luncheon which was held in the hotel banquet room was delivered elegantly, providing a delicious selection of food and drinks as well as a beautiful and relaxing environment. The valet parking was a great feature. The Town of Great Neck is charming, with many lovely shops and easy access to the train to NYC. We have used that form of transportation into Great Neck in the past and have found it to be a fun and quick experience. We look forward do staying at the Inn at Great Neck again and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in this area.

"Friendly, helpful staff - great location for a wedding weekend!"
Grand58, 21 Juillet 2019

We were there for a wedding about 10 minutes away - wonderful shuttle service to venue. Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff - especially Eileen!!! Clean, large rooms - boutiquey, lovely hotel! On one of the hottest weekends of the summer, the staff was so calm and accommodating. Cute town. The bridal party hosted a delicious buffet Sunday morning. The bagels were delicious!!

"Neat, clean, luxury - fantastic for business trips."
Charles P, 18 Juillet 2019

I've stayed at The Inn multiple times in the last two years - always on business travel. The staff remembers me, greats me by name and handles check-in efficiently. The hotel is well located, clean and has a wonderful cocktail bar. The rooms are always clean and neat - it is a stress free place.

"Perfect end to a perfect night!"
Sandyrd1021, 17 Juillet 2019

I had my wedding at a near by location on 6/28/19 and had my hotel accommodations for myself, friends and family at Inn at Great Neck. Ilene Milman was an absolute gem! Always quick to respond and assist us at anytime. We also utilized their shuttle service to get guests to and from the wedding reception, the late night bar (best decision I've ever made), and a brunch the morning after. The food was great and the service was awesome too! Would recommend to anyone getting married in the area this is your one stop shop for after party needs!

"A wonderful time "
JohnA683, 15 Juillet 2019

Now because I am the typical road warrior I rarely ever get a chance to enjoy my stay at any given place. That said the family and I took a trip to Long Island for a wedding and we had the best time staying at this hotel. The staff are amazing, and the hotel has everything except a pool. They have a bar and restaurant in the hotel as well as a fitness center, and the hotel is very clean and modern. They also have valet parking which is a must for this area. I must also note that the hotel is part of best western so if you are a member that is a big plus.

"Manager needs to go to Customer Service School"
Discover97686, 23 Juin 2019

I'm rating this hotel average because the property itself is fine, most of the employees are fine but the manager hasn't got a clue about customer service. I see in other reviews he asks you to contact him directly - I did but to no avail. Had to stop by front desk and insist on speaking to him. Had a very heated and admittedly loud public argument. He could have diffused the situation by a. returning my email b. calling when I asked c. leaving a phone message asking how he could help d. apologizing off the top to a 6 year customer. ANY of those things would have been fine! instead he decided to mansplain to me how a hotel runs and treat me as if I was of no concern to him. I'm sorry this isn't an SLH hotel anymore because Best Western was almost as unresponsive... so far....next stop...head office...

"Lovely Upscale Inn"
lifeisforlearning, 13 Juin 2019

We were there as part of a wedding party as it's a little less than a mile from Leonard's Palazzo. It's a lovely, upscale place. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds. Parking is valet only, but an inexpensive $14 per night. We had a brunch at the Inn the morning after the wedding, and the food was superb. The only quibble I had with the hotel was my that parents, aged and using walkers, needed a walk-in shower instead of a tub shower. The Inn said they had no handicapped rooms available, but ultimately graciously upgraded them to a room with a separate walk-in shower. However, perplexingly, the walk-in shower had no grab bars. That's unusual for this day and age, with an aging population and broadened sensitivity to the needs of people with disabilities. Even if it's not a handicapped room, every shower, whether a tub shower or a walk-in shower, should have grab bars. Most every place I go, and I travel a lot, has grab bars. If you need grab bars, be sure to ask in advance.

"Great hotel close to Leonard's Palazzo"
JK_RB, 03 Juin 2019

All aspects of our stay were very pleasant. Valet and check in were friendly and efficient. The rooms are very nice and clean (lovely toiletries). They included a convenient shuttle to/from Leonard's for our wedding group. The restaurant food was very good at lunch time. They offer a breakfast buffet, which was also good. We all had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Disappointing weekend stay"
salemst, 20 Mai 2019

I booked this hotel after reading all of the great reviews so am thinking our experience may have been the exception. I booked a room for 4 people with a king bed and a pullout sofa. When we got to the room, I was initially disappointed that we didn't have a balcony, but I hadn't asked for one so was ok with that. We did have a lower level room that abutted the train tracks so could feel the train go by but couldn't hear it during the night; again, can't complain. When we opened up the sofa bed, we realized we had no sheets so called down for them; they were brought up right away (a positive). But the sofa bed was really dirty. The mattress was stained and there was what appeared to be food in the folds. I would have expected that the room would have been ready for 4 people and the pullout clean. We also found that we had two refrigerators in the room (a positive) but both were not very cold and didn't get colder when adjusted and one had some other guests moldy leftovers on top of it which makes me think housekeeping doesn't check those spots regularly. So, while I won't stay here again, I'm thinking our experience was more the exception than the rule. One other positive is that the bar area and bartender as well as the valet were very friendly.

"Wedding"

Attended a wedding here and booked a room. The staff made the entire experience delightful and memorable. All were accommodating, professional, and helpful above and beyond. Highly recommended. I particularly commend the director of social events who was extraordinarily helpful.

"Great Place to Stay on Western Long Island"
Leo D, 08 Mai 2019

The accommodations, food and service were outstanding!! It's located a short walk from the Long Island Railroad Station in Great Neck providing easy access to New York City without having to have a vehicle. Valet parking is available if needed for the stay. Based on our first experience at this hotel, we will definitely use them again for a family trip to the city.

"A MUST place to stay on Long Island"
KathleenAnneLynn1616, 07 Mai 2019

The Inn at Great Neck is a charming Inn with spacious, comfortable rooms, first rate service, a restaurant that never disappoints. The staff are courteous and helpful. Located in the heart of Great Neck within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the train station. And it is Pet Friendly!!! And some rooms have charing patios!!

"Lovely Bridal Shower"
Linda F, 04 Mai 2019

We had my daughter's bridal shower in the Empire Room and it was flawless from booking to planning to enjoying the shower. Ilene was wonderful to work with! She was very accommodating to a couple of last-minute changes and had very helpful suggestions to make the day special. The staff on the day of the event was pleasant and efficient. I felt that everyone we dealt with truly cared about giving us the best experience possible and we truly appreciate all the support we received.

"Lovely Boutique Hotel"
maryrF8597BM, 22 Avril 2019

This hotel is in a fantastic location right in the middle of the village. The valets were quick and attentive, the lobby was nicly decorated and the front desk attendant's were friendly, efficient and quite knowledgeable about the area. There was a cute lobby bar and a restaurant on site, we did not use the food service but it looked like they had a busy and well attended Easter buffet. Our room was lovely and well maintained, I think each room has a balcony. I would absolutely recomend this hotel.

"Like Avis, they try harder."
L5797UQjohnp, 15 Avril 2019

Stayed here for a wedding nearby. Looked like our group had half the place, another wedding had the balance. The place is not in great shape, but you can't fault the staff. Everyone was very pleasant and eager to please. Especially Ilene, whose title was sales manager but she worked as a greeter, cleaner, concierge, all at the same time. She is one of those people that seem to truly enjoy their job working with guests and helps you overlook the fact that one elevator was not working. If they spent the bucks to fix this place up, it would be five stars. Downtown Great Neck is nothing to get excited about. This is truly a destination hotel = if there's something you need to be doing in Great Neck area, it will be fine.

"Great Hotel"
Chris68104, 01 Avril 2019

Overall this hotel was awesome for our business trip. Stayed here for most of the week and the staff was great. Good dinners in the hotel restaurant. I wouldn't suggest the appetizers, but main dishes were great. Loved the breakfast each morning.

"Wedding Weekend"
Joyett38, 28 Mars 2019

I only have wonderful things to say about our stay at the Inn at Great Neck from March 22-24, ‘19. We booked a block of rooms for our daughter's wedding weekend. We also had a Sunday afternoon brunch in the banquet room and a Late Night at the lobby/bar area. Because of the amazing people working at the Inn at Great Neck our wedding weekend was seamless. Thank you to Ilene Milman amd Anthony Ferrerosa, for their help in planning and coordinating the late night, brunch and shuttles to and from the wedding venue. Thank you to Mo at the bar and the other bartenders and servers who made our stay so comfortable. Thank you to Mike and our other shuttle driver for all the trips this weekend. Thank you to the housekeeping staff for keeping the rooms so clean. I'd highly recommend the Inn at Great Neck if you need a Great Neck location for your group for any function. Their courtesy, warmth and professionalism is exceptional.

"Thank you, Anthony"
Mvertun, 26 Mars 2019

Want to express great gratitude to Anthony Ferrerosa for being a guest speaker for students with hospitality major in Nassau Community College, for sharing his valuable experience and representing Inn at Great Neck in best way.

"Very comfortable"
Vanessa M, 10 Mars 2019

I stayed for 3 nights for a business trip. The rooms are huge, very clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and lovely. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, which was delicious. Breakfast team provided tea after requested. Brits need their fix and they were happy to help.

"Professional comfort in Great Neck"
Charles P, 27 Février 2019

A clean well maintained luxury property within walking distance of the Long Island Railroad and many fine restaurants The Inn is a wonderful place to stay when you have to be away from home on business. After a few visits the front desk personnel greet you by name. Miriam, Stephanie, Paul and the rest expedite the checkin process and handle your requests expertly! The morning buffet breakfast is above average and Mo mix's professional cocktails to rival any Manhattan night spot every evening!

"Good Service and Pleasant Accomodations"
Paula H, 27 Février 2019

My husband and I were looking for a quick weekend getaway close to our home in Brooklyn. We've stayed at the Viana several times, but I wanted to try something new, and the Viana's website mentioned the Inn at Great Neck as their sister hotel. The hotel has a very cool art deco decor. Our room was a nice size and pleasantly furnished, the hotel was quiet, and all of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. My only critiques for our stay were that the food in the hotel was decent but not great (especially for the cost), and I wished the TV had pay per view movies.

"Very disappointed in this hotel."
jackD9927TZ, 21 Février 2019

When we arrived to the room none of the power on one side of the room was working. Had to call an engineer who left power strips to get power to work. The hotel elevator was stopping on the wrong no matter what button you pressed. Made reservations for 20 people for Sunday brunch. When the guest arrived the tables weren't setup and the buffet trays were empty. I had to personally move all the tables together and get the silverware. No matter if it's 1 person or 50 there is a 19% gratuity charge. During the week I ordered the lox plate. Again I had to fill my own water glass and get silverware. I again was charged 19% gratuity with no service. I was told by valet it would be 5 minutes to get my car. But it took 50 minutes because of some event. They did not care about a paying customer. To many other places to stay to put up with such crappy service.

"Don't let the reasonable price fool you..."
Laurie C, 20 Février 2019

Stayed here a couple of days on business and was really pleasantly surprised. I had no idea what to expect. So often as a business traveler, you see pictures and get one impression; arrive and get another. What a lovely hotel! The service is outstanding, rooms are great and the food was really, really wonderful! I'm often inclined to go elsewhere for meals rather than eat at the hotel when I travel, but in this case, it was better to stay in. So refreshing. It wasn't very busy during my stay so I'm hopeful more folks will come to know this place.

"Thanksgiving dinner ripoff!"
234sandram, 04 Février 2019

Went here for a change for our Thanksgiving dinner. Buffet was served in the lobby with doors opening and closing and people checking in. We left a very generous holiday tip on our card for the waiter not knowing they had already added the tip. No one seemed to bother to correct the mistake. When we got home and looked st the receipt we realized the tip was charged twice and immediately phoned to correct it. It is now February and we have been given the run around from this place. From the restaurant mgr Julio Narraro to the Hotel mgr with no effort to correct this. Last time we're going here!

"Be aware of special “problem” with credit card machine"
Than89, 02 Janvier 2019

Stayed here in early December 2018 for 2 nights. Check in late at about 10:30 pm and there was a strange “problem” with the card machine so the receptionist tried on “another” machine and finally got it to work. I didn't suspect of anything at the time. This was the only place I used my credit card and paid cash everywhere else during my visit. On January 2, a fraudulent charge was made in a Melville restaurant for $14.93 but no restaurant name was listed. I called the hotel but did not receive a call back from the manager, although I can expect what the response would sound like. So be aware of any “problem” with credit machine during check in.

"Nice place to stay in Great Neck"
sue o, 26 Décembre 2018

Very clean and conveniently located in Great Neck near shopping and the train station. The basket of goodies in the room is a very nice touch as well as free water. Did not eat there (had Best Bagel bagels in the morning which is quick walk from the hotel) so I cannot comment on the food. Internet is free and very good!

"Clean, Friendly, Great Location!"
61Bounty, 18 Décembre 2018

The hotel overall and my room in particular were super clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Convenient if travelling via LIRR -- just a few blocks away from station. Stores and restaurants also within walking distance. The room was spotless & extremely comfortable, including the bed and large bathroom. A large tv screen mounted on the wall was enjoyed from a cozy leather chair. Their buffet breakfast features a wide selection of choices. Highly recommended.

"Our office Holiday party"
reeky86, 17 Décembre 2018

Great Neck is the best venue for any party. I work for Northwell Health system and we held our holiday party at Great Neck Inn. I worked closely with Corinne , she was nothing but a delight. She made sure everything was well taken care of prior to the party. And lead staff Julio made sure we were attended to throughout the night. We are so happy to have had the party there. All wonderful staff , the food was delicious the drinks were amazing. We're looking forward to next year already :)

"Great Place and Fabulous Staff!"
Scott W, 29 Novembre 2018

The hotel in very clean, nice size rooms, and all very comfortable. Great place to stay.... but, the best thing about my stay was the staff. They were all very helpful, kind, and patient. They helped me out with a couple of jams that I had gotten myself into. You will have a great experience here.

"Stay here and you won't be disappointed!!!"
Ginny M, 28 Novembre 2018

Without a doubt this is probably my most favorite hotel I've ever stayed at! On arrival we were welcomed by a very warm and friendly staff. The bellhop kindly took our luggage to our room. Upon entering our room we noticed right off how clean it was. It appeared very well kept. The bed was very comfortable. Also, we had a balcony with a very nice view. The room was very spacious as well as the bathroom. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated for Christmas with Christmas music playing in the halls and elevator. It really put me in the Christmas spirit. The location and the amenities at the hotel can't be beat. It offered a hot breakfast buffet each morning which my husband and I enjoyed. It had everything you could want from bacon, sausage, eggs, home fries etc. and on top of that, the food was fresh, delicious, and well stocked. We always ate in the hotel lobby enjoying the 1920's decor where it was warm and cozy. The hotel's location was only 2 minutes from the train station which was very convenient for us as we traveled to New York City for a day. In conclusion, when I stay in Great Neck again I will look no further than The Inn! The atmosphere here was special and I felt at home. I don't feel I'd get that experience else where. Thank you to the manager and staff for a wonderful stay!

"Return Trip after two years"
Brian C, 11 Novembre 2018

The first part of my visit was great. The room had a nice balcony and the rooms had been refreshed since I last stayed. It was really very pleasant and a great bargain for the price. Unfortunately, the trip was marred by an awkward incident. A man walked into my room at 6:00 am, clearly not expecting to see anyone. I was asleep and obviously startled. He profusely apologized. 15 minutes later, a female hotel employee opened my door and started to walk in. She also was surprised to see me and quickly left. It was obvious that the two were planning a tryst in my room. Worse yet, the hotel staff was completely uncooperative when I called, and suggested I made up this story. Having awaken an hour earlier than expected, I went to the gym, which unfortunately had not been refurbished and was the size of a large closet. Two disappointments at once! In conclusion, I would recommend staying, but don't expect a great gym, and use your deadbolt!

"The Best Best Western at which I've ever stayed"
LBrand22, 07 Novembre 2018

The room was very spacious, with a small kitchenette, desk, make up table, large bath and room to do exercises on the floor. Three large windows filled the room with light and it was nice and clean. At breakfast they offer a choice of buffet at the lobby bar, or a sit down restaurant with full menu. I asked to add spinach to my omelette (it's not listed on the menu) and voila! Fresh spinach was generously incorporated. I even liked the turkey sausage, much to my surprise. Both check in and check out were effortless, and the shower was strong and a perfect temperature. Here is why they did not get 5 stars: the mattress was soft and the pillow hard (I prefer it the other way around), the room was a chilly temp and took all night to warm up, and the towels are scratchy.

"Poorly run and shabby"
handj67, 21 Octobre 2018

We stayed at the Inn at Great Neck for two nights, and received no housekeeping services during the day between the two nights. No housekeeping means no fresh towels, no made bed, and no coffee available for the next morning's in-room wake up. Maintenance was not keeping up with deterioration. The lamp behind the one comfortable chair in the room was broken, the shower curtain was coming unhemmed, and in the bathroom the GFI plug tripped whenever it was used. The rusty spots on the baseboard heating in the bathroom had not been fixed or even covered with paint. The breakfast buffet was almost entirely out of food at 10 o'clock on Sunday morning. We had to wait 10 minutes to get scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, and French toast. Right out of the kitchen even some of that was already cold. The people at the front desk, the room service waiter, and the valet we're all pleasant, and working hard to make our stay comfortable. They just don't have the facilities they need to support their efforts.

"Disappointing"
Scottwec, 13 Octobre 2018

We arrived just before 5. We had to wait in the Lobby over 20 minutes for our room to be ready. Was not offered a drink or anything as we just saw there. Also, my wife asked for a feather free room. Was told it was. Got to room and pillows had feathers. Asked for feather free pillows and was told that pillows have “fake feathers”. Sounds like fake news to me. She then looked in closet and found a foam pillow they claim they didn't't have.

"Wish I could have stayed longer..."

Highly recommend. Unfortunately, it is very popular for weddings so could not. Would definitely stay there and commute to Manhattan from nearby LIRR station on future trips. Thanks to the excellent staff and for a wonderful stay! First rate!!!

"THE PLACE TO STAY!"
Erika F, 24 Septembre 2018

I cannot day enough positive things about this hotel! This is the place where I stay whenever I need to be in the area. The location is perfect (near all modes of transportation and close to all major highways). However, what makes this hotel ideal is two-fold. The rooms are lovely, well-equipped, and very well-tended to. Additionally, the customer service is outstanding! Special thanks to Briannie for finding me a perfect room in the hotel amidst a joyous wedding clientele! Her commitment to customer service was exceptional!

"A Hidden Surprise"
Michael B, 20 Septembre 2018

The rooms are incredibly spacious and open. The staff is friendly and professional. A really nice recluse hidden away in Great Neck. Within walking distance of all of the main shops and restaurants of Great Neck (all of which are all Middle Neck Road). Within three minutes of the LIRR station; making getting in to the city a breeze for a day trip. The restaurant in the hotel “La Brasserie” is, much like the hotel, a nice surprise. A bit expensive, but the food is fresh and tasty along with the very friendly staff. My only issues with the hotel are as follows: -The lighting of the hotel always feels dark, barely lit. It feels like the dimmer switch is always on low. Sometimes this can lead to some confusion finding a room (my claustrophobia also kicked in slightly because of it) -They charged me $2 for a travel-size tube of toothpaste. Perhaps this is not atypical, but having forgotten basic hygienic products before, I've often found most hotels will provide them complimentary. The Inn does not, so be sure to pack all of the products you will need.

"Pre-Honeymoon Bridal Suite Stay"
Henry E, 19 Septembre 2018

My wife and I stayed at the Inn at Great Neck the night of our wedding. A number of or wedding guests also stayed at the inn. We had an excellent stay there. The bridal suite was large, clean, and set-up with celebratory champagne and rose petals. The hotel also set us up with a shuttle to and fro the reception site. The driver was on time and very professional. Anthony was extremely helpful in setting up the room block for us. At the time of checkout there was an error in our bill which was addressed in no time. Definitely would recommend to any couple getting married in the area.

"Our Wedding"
frusso271, 08 Septembre 2018

Just wanted to take the time to thank you and the rest of the staff at the Inn at Great Neck for making our experience truly special. From the moment we started planning your whole team made it easy to book the shuttle, bar, and guest rooms. Throughout this process you have been very attentive and quick to respond and it has been much appreciated. Besides the planning, the Inn at Great neck exceeded our expectations. Our guests raved about the bar/Lobby and the size of the rooms. Thank you for making sure the shuttle was on-time which allowed our guests to fully experience cocktail hour. The Late Bar was excellent! Our guests appreciated and enjoyed the pizza and it came out just as the guests were arriving. Michelle and I were late to arrive but the staff went above and beyond by cooking us some food after the kitchen was closed!! Our bridal suite was excellent! The complimentary champagne was much appreciated and the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet the next morning was delicious as we experienced it ourselves and heard the compliments from our guests. Overall, we just wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work in making our day truly special!

"Parenst weekend at USMMA"
Lynne M, 05 Septembre 2018

An absolutely lovely stay from start to finish. Greeted warmly by both the valet and the desk staff. Valet could not do enough to help us get our bags out of the car and up to our room. Room was spacious, clean and welcoming. Loved the large bathroom and deep bathtub. Beds comfortable and linens high quality. Breakfast buffet had plenty of fruit and choices and the staff working it were lovely. Helpful and friendly! Temperature in the room perfect. My only thing I would say that could be improved - no ice machine? We had to call down to the desk to get ice. We will be back!

"Acceptable for a wedding"
Yan M, 01 Septembre 2018

I recently had my wedding in Great Neck and therefore mainly chose the Inn at Great Neck for its location and convenience. Overall, my experience was OK. The staff were really great and responsive when it came to booking my rooms and setting up shuttle service for our guests and what not. The entire experience of booking the rooms and getting that set up was great. I blocked off several rooms in advance and had all the specific rooms figured out so that my bridal party could stay on the same floor (this was done months in advance). On the day of our reservation, I found that our rooms were moved and some people from the bridal party got moved to a different floor because a guest decided to stay an extra night? I don't know how it is that advanced reservations would be moved to accommodate later ones...Anyway, it was annoying but not the end of the world. My bridal suite was a decent size (I've been told that it runs on the smaller end tho). The room itself was clean enough and seemingly OK. However, I later found that most of the outlets did not work with my phone charger (standard plug) and only one particular outlet actually held a charge for my phone. Also annoying. There were also minor aesthetic things like broken cabinetry and lamps that didn't work that just made the room seem overpriced. With what we paid per night and with it being the bridal suite, I expected all the furniture to be intact and pristine condition. Also, the elevator was broken and 2 of my bridesmaids got stuck just going up and down continuously. Not the hotel's fault per se, but bad upkeep? However, the staff were overall accommodating and nice and they allowed us to extend check out for 1 room and that was appreciated. I didn't necessarily love the hotel but it served its purpose and I think it played a crucial role in allowing my wedding to go as planned.

"Felix went out of his way"
Travelsboca777, 27 Août 2018

Felix went out of his way and ran to the store for us for toothpaste. This shows how great the staff is here and they go above and beyond to make sure the guests are happy. This was a last minute trip for a family matter but the rooms are nice and having someone go out of their way when they are done with their shift is just exceptional service. Highly recommend.

"Wedding Weekend"
whit128, 21 Août 2018

The Inn at Great Neck was wonderful to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Our wedding was nearby in Manhasset and we had a large block of rooms here. Anthony was exceptional in responding back to emails, phone calls, and assisting in coordinating the day-of transportation to the venue. Every hotel detail from Friday-Sunday was accounted for and made for a very relaxed Bride, Groom, and Family!! :) Our guests were very happy and felt at home from the moment they arrived on Friday until the wedding weekend ended with a Brunch at the hotel on Sunday. Thank you, Anthony, and the entire staff at the Inn at Great Neck for helping to make our wedding weekend what it was!!

"My 60th birthday party"
MSJNY, 19 Août 2018

From the planning to the execution of my dream 60th birthday, the staff of Inn at Great Neck were there to make sure that what I expected to happen will be realized over and beyond my expectations. I requested to bring a lechon (roasted pig) and they said yes, they understand and accept cultural traditions. I was with Anthony till nighttime to discuss and iron things out. He was exceptionally helpful and helped make this happen. The event was last night, Julio and the girls were there to make sure my extra decorations and slideshow were up and running and the food was served perfectly. Willy cut up the lechon to a T so everyone was able to have a taste. They even gave me a complimentary suite for the night! My guests enjoyed the place and had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and would have parties here again. Thank you Inn at Great Neck.

"Wedding Guests"
Vincent S, 12 Août 2018

We reserved 12 rooms at the Inn at Great Neck for our wedding guests and the rooms were above average: extra large and clean with good amenities. On Sunday we all had breakfast in the restaurant which was professionally arranged by our coordinator Anthony. The restaurant food was good , modestly priced and the service was excellent. I would rate the total experience 4 1/2 stars if I was able to do so.

"Wedding weekend"
Audralindley, 11 Août 2018

Had our daughters wedding weekend for our guests stay at The Inn at Great Neck. Anthony and Ryan were always so helpful with any questions I had and made sure everything went smoothly. The wedding was at The Village Club at Lake Success and the hotel provided a shuttle bus to and from the venue which worked out great. We also had our Sunday morning breakfast in the Empire room there which which was a very nice room and we had a breakfast buffet which was very good. The rooms are really nice and luxurious. The Long Island railroad is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend Inn at Great Neck if you are in need of a hotel in the Great Neck area for a wedding or any other type of affair.

"Old,dark nd dingy!"
Pilar336, 06 Août 2018

Family booked this hotel for my children and I to stay! I feel bad because family paid for it and somehow the bill came to me..what a rip off!! Sorry to say..it's stuck in the 80's..now I love hotels with character but it is it overflowing with it..it reminded me of an old persons retirement home..smells like it too! good location if you need to go into the city. Complimentary coffee in the lobby AND HOT WATER ...no tea...just hot water!!! ???????? that is so weird! Who drinks just hot water? I stay in hotel pretty much every other month but this was a doozy! ????

"My Wedding Weekend"
Ann Marie P, 19 Juillet 2018

My wedding was this past weekend and it seemed like a fairytale! Everyone says planning a wedding is stressful and hard. Ryan and Anthony at The Inn at Great Neck made is so very easy. They both answered every call and email right away. They guided me through the whole process and made it enjoyable. When my day came they made me feel like a princess from beginning to end. They not only helped but went out of their way for everything. I'm truly impressed with this hotel, the service and especially Ryan and Anthony. Thank you so much for making my wedding day a dream! ~Ann Marie & Thomas

"home away from home"
Richard M, 13 Juin 2018

I'm in my 4th year of traveling to Great Neck for work a couple times a month and always enjoy my time at the Inn at Great Neck. Everyone is so friendly and they go out of their way to make sure everything is just right. The location is very good and is walking distance to a lot of restaurants and a movie theatre. I sometimes eat at the hotel restaurant and have always had very good meals there. I enjoy chatting with Joanna and Mo at the lobby bar and Paul, Erik and Miryam at the front desk are very easy to deal with and I always enjoy my shuttle ride with Hubert. I like that there are all sorts of different room layouts and the beds and pillows are great. It makes me enjoy the time I have to spend away form home..

"Ongoing excellence in Great Neck"

"Pleasantly pleased!!"
kshelby, 28 Mai 2018

Needed a room overnight due to husband having heart surgery in an area hospital. Inn @Great Neck was the perfect spot! Close to the hospital...was surprised at the size of my room, everything very comfortable and convenient. Everyone was great from the time of check in to checkout, including valet parking.... Gloria the bartender was especially nice to chat with while I decompressed from a stressful day, then handled taking my food order and delivering to my room...food good with awesome, friendly service all around, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again but hoping our circumstances won't require it...thanx all!!

"Wedding Weekend Wonderful"
Suregirl57, 22 Mai 2018

We stayed at Inn at Great Neck as part of a wedding weekend and were pleasantly surprised with the excellent accomodations. The front desk staff was super busy with four weddings happening at once but they graciously met our needs for an early check-in. The room was a standard King and it was not only huge but very clean and well-appointed. It was a delight.

"Outstanding Customer Service"
96Art, 11 Mai 2018

Our company hosted an international delegation of physicians at the Inn at Great Neck in May of this year. The hotel was very cozy...almost family-like. The staff though, each and every one of them, from Hubert the shuttle driver to Nick the GM, treated all of our group with the greatest degree of customer service, dignity and kindness. I am not sure what Nick is doing but his leadership of providing "excellence of service" shines in each and every employee there. I highly recommend this place for group events! In addition to great customer service: rooms were clean, house-keeping proficient and even their restaurant was above normal. Great Job Guys!

"Great service!"
Melissa H, 05 Mai 2018

Mounsif at restaurant/bar was fantastic...I chose to stay in vs going out because of him!! His recommendations were spot on and I truly appreciated his excellence in the service industry! Will be back!

"Great (Neck) Surprise!"
travelsnob60, 01 Mai 2018

I had no idea what to expect. Being a hotel snob I never was comfortable with any of the hotels I read about on Long Island, so I always stayed in the city. If only I had known about the Inn at Great Neck years ago my travels to Long Island would have been so much easier. So, from the beginning the valet's were great. Very nice and helpful. Walking into the hotel not knowing what to expect, I was very pleasantly surprised with the lobby. Very nice, elegant, cozy and welcoming. The hallways and elevators all get an A+ rating. But now came the most important observation of all: the room. Well, what a nice surprise that was. Totally current, perfect condition, very roomy, pleasing decor, very clean. Umbrella in the closet. Good size safe. The same can be said for the bathroom. Very nice, current, large, large tub/shower, clean with all the amenities. The towels were very soft. As for noice that I had read about from the train, I was on the 5th floor with the trains right outside my window. Barely heard them at all, and what I did hear was a muffled sound. Hardly noticeable and not an issue what-so-ever. Much noisier in the city staying on even the 50th floor. All of the staff throughout the stay were friendly, as you would hope for. And last but not least, the bacon and coffee could not have been better! A new gem for me.

"Havening Techniques® Training"
Feliciana T, 09 Avril 2018

Such an amazing staff, from Alex at the door, Corrine for the putting together a perfect event package to Julio managing the weekend everything sorted brilliantly! We had happy students and doctors, it was a two day intensive seminar and with the right setting we had a great event. The staff in the Resturant were so sweet, the food was delicious, you've got to try the Tuna crusted in sesame seeds, and the crepe tacos with steak! Mohammad brought over the most delicious fries ever. We stayed at the hotel over the weekend and the staff made us feel like family. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the pillows were amazingly fluffy and the sheets were crisp. For our students traveling in, the convenience of the LIRR was perfect! Thanks again for making this event wonderful.

"Good hotel but noisy"
irishgirl000, 02 Avril 2018

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Lovely rooms and bathrooms but noise of trains and central heating units in bedrooms made it hard to sleep. I would have no issues returning once I got a room at the front of hotel as trains run all night.

"It's all about the customer"
Gina103, 29 Mars 2018

Fantastic place. Beds are very comfortable. Despite the fact trains are behind it, you can't hear them. The staff are customer centric, especially the van driver. I absolutely loved it hear and hope to come back again. Highly recommend!

"Wedding weekend"
genehirsh, 29 Mars 2018

We stayed at the Inn for our son's wedding and hosted about 40 guests. The staff was great, especially Ryan the reservations manager, and exceptionally accommodating with arranging for hospitality suites, shuttle service to and from the wedding venue and room guarantees. It's a beautiful boutique hotel with very nice rooms and suites. Would definitely recommend highly for anyone in the Great Neck, North Shore area.

"Business Trip to Long Island"

What a wonderful boutique hotel! The entire staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean when I arrived, and the bed was super comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area next.

"Excellent customer service"

"Our Go to when in NY "
Kenmar5, 27 Février 2018

Friendly, clean, comfortable and quiet. Stayed three days. We found it to be relaxing and the excellent quality of the room service that we ordered was a pleasant surprise. I only wish that they had softer pillows. Located near the train station, restaurants and shops. Forget Manhattan.

"Amazing staff and hotel"
Van E, 26 Février 2018

Our stay was awesome! We got married not to far away and stayed here the night before our wedding and the day of.The staff here is very friendly and extremely accommodating. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. We first worked with Ryan Curran to coordinate our stay, a wedding block, after party and breakfast the next day. He was extremely attentive and welcoming. He responded right away to any questions/concerns we might have had. It was a lot of emails haha. But he is very professional and super easy going. It was a pleasure to work with him. We also worked with Anthony Ferrerosa to iron out our final details. He was amazing, super friendly and accommodating. Our guests raved about the service and the rooms. The valet workers, bellhops, bartenders, front desk were so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel so welcomed! I honestly felt like a queen! We would definitely recommend to our friends or anyone looking for an awesome place to stay! I would definitely go back and stay at this hotel in the near future!

"Great hotel, very clean, will be staying again"
Michael D, 26 Février 2018

My recent stay for my staff and I was very nice and we will definitely be staying again. It was located very close to our annual dental meeting, about one block from the train station. Everyone said their room was clean and bed's were very comfortable for a good nights rest. We also all enjoyed the food at the restaurant which we ate at for breakfast lunch and dinner. The staff is what made our stay even more pleasurable, from booking to checking out, greeting us with friendly customer service and everything in between. One of the managers there, Nick, went out of his way to make sure all our rooms were next to one another even when the hotel was almost at it's full capacity when my office manager booked. I will definitely be returning back next year for our annual dental meeting . Thank you for making our stay a great one!

"Valentine's Day Getaway"
Matt C, 19 Février 2018

Had a beautiful Valentine's weekend overnight at the Inn at Great Neck. We are returning visitors to the hotel and were not disappointed. As always the room was spotless and the hotel staff was super attentive and helpful to all of our request. The beds are also something to come back for, super comfy with big pillows the best sleep I we had in a while lol. We had dinner at Brassiere in the hotel and the food was delicious again. I had the salmon and my finance had the penne with chicken. Then we had them send desert up to the room and they were very prompt. I live locally on Long Island but its great to have a place were you can come and pamper yourselfs for the night. We will for sure be returning.

"Great Large Rooms, Great Location Friendly Staff"
pageslady, 14 Février 2018

The hotel is located about a block from the Great Neck train station. The lobby is pleasant, check-in is easy and quick. Two elevators for 5 floors are sufficient. The rooms are large, and fitted with all the necessary accessories. A tub/shower, good lighting, a comfortable king size bed, desk and several chairs. Coffee makers in the room and fresh coffee in the lobby in the early morning. There is a simple restaurant with a small buffet (eggs, meat, potatoes, cereal, breads and fruit in the morning. The same area becomes a bat in the afternoon and evening. There is a full restaurant attached to the hotel and dozens more within a few blocks. I have stayed there many times and enjoy returning.

"Great deal near a train station"
Bill D, 19 Janvier 2018

The great part of this hotel is the quality for the price and the location. The bad is also the location. Rooms in the front of the hotel street side are nice and quiet, but the ones in the back with windows facing the train tracks are noisy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the valet service was good for parking. I would stay here again if I needed to be in that area again.

"Good hotel I'd stay at again, but had problems."
Poxbox23, 22 Décembre 2017

Valet service is excellent. Felix in particular was very professional. The front desk desk was a little more random. Some employees seemed uninterested. Still helpful though. Housekeeping was adequate. Although this hotels housekeeping is taught to create a flower out of the facial tissues. To me, having my facial tissues handled by some stranger and stuffed back into the box is an unsanitary disgusting practice. The ac unit was very loud and took a couple nights before I could get used to it. The bedspread had a stain on it. Toilet lid wouldnt stay up in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet in the bar area was uninspired. The bacon was overcooked at times. There was usually one item in the buffet allowed to run out. You had to ask to get them to refill it. Service again was random, ranging from excellent to uninterested.

"World class service"
Charles P, 22 Décembre 2017

I've stayed at "The Inn" every week for one or two nights since summer. The facility is well maintained and the staff is excellent. Top notch service with a smile and clean, warm comfortable accommodations in a low-key classy atmosphere.

"Excellent stay"
traveling2008, 21 Décembre 2017

Stayed here on a quick overnight visit. The room was updated with many nice amenities. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel has a nice homey feeling, and the staff were very nice and accommodating. Many options at breakfast. Well situated in Great Neck, close to the train to NYC.

"Best hotel in Great Neck"
mamawass, 19 Décembre 2017

We often visit Great Neck and have stayed in most of the hotels in the area, The Inn at Great Neck is by far the best available. I try to book as much in advance as I can, as they can be sold out due to the many events that take place there. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is always very good. There is a small room with some exercise equipment, but they will give you a pass to the NY Sports Club a few blocks away, The town of Great Neck with its many stores is in walking distance. The best part of the hotel is the staff who are always friendly and helpful, and we feel very comfortable and welcomed as they remember who we are and greet us by name. The front desk staff is wonderful and I am giving a shout out to Anthony, who goes out of his way to make us happy!

"Technical Director "
dax2018, 11 Décembre 2017

I have had the pleasure of utilizing this facility since it opened 23 years ago. It is well maintained. The day shift check in employee has also been there for 23 years. He is professional and feels like family. It's a great pleasure to have the Inn at Great Neck as my “home” in Great Neck.

"Great Place to Stay in Great Neck"
night002, 02 Décembre 2017

This is a lovely older inn, quite gracious, updated and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a bar and restaurant on the first floor with a range of offerings, well-worth sampling.

"Great experience with the wedding block of rooms"
mashishka, 23 Novembre 2017

We reserved a block of rooms for the wedding. All our guests had an awesome experience - we were able to receive multiple upgrades and had overall nice experience. Thank you to Ryan and staff for helping make everything go well.

"Perfect place in Great Neck"
HeatherAnn390, 18 Novembre 2017

We stayed here under unfortunate circumstances: death in the family, but from booking the room to check out, the staff made us feel very valued. We ran into a hiccup with the temperature control in our room, which Anthony, at the front desk, was more concerned about than we were- which was a refreshing change from experiences I've had at other hotels! We brought it to his attention in the morning and left for the day. When we got back to the hotel later that day, he was relieved to see us and made sure to give us an update on the room and that the problem was more involved than originally anticipated. Without skipping a beat, he already had a new room (upgraded to a suite!) ready and waiting for us. He then comped us the breakfast buffet (highly recommend!)and apologized for the inconvenience. While this could have been a really frustrating situation, Anthony provided solutions above and beyond what we would have expected & before we even asked. We have family that lives in the area and come here at least twice a year. This situation has ensured The Inn at Great Neck will forever more be our preferred place to stay in the area.

"Just the facts: Sleeping on the train tracks, consistent errors"
xody r, 15 Novembre 2017

I wanted to love this quaint little place. Fast free wifi. Nice-Looking room. Comfortable bed and great pillows. But my room was on the train tracks - like right in front with barely trees in between my windows and the tracks - with trains going by several times an hour!! I asked to switch rooms and was told I couldn't. And this is on a random Tuesday night - really, you are at full capacity? OK. So I go to sleep and put white noise on my phone to combat the train noise. No worries. Then I ask for a wake up call at 905 (important meeting the next morning, better safe than sorry), and they say they can't, it has to be 9am. OK. 9am please. I wake up from my own alarm at 9, they call me at 910. And, to make things interesting, at 9:03, as I'm standing naked in the bathroom, a maid walks in. WALKS IN! If she knocked I couldn't hear her, but seriously?!?! So I get ready and go downstairs - there is free breakfast buffet. But the eggs are dark yellow shriveled balls - probably sat there for hours. A woman is standing in front of it mumbling "well this is gross" and walks away. I am starving and decide to order fresh eggs. I order an egg-white omelette with whole wheat bread, and get this: I get a regular (yellow) omelette with rye bread. Seriously?? The wait staff is nice, and I can tell that they are trying, but at this point it stops being funny. Also the coffee isn't hot. I'm just embarrassed for them at this point. Never again.

"Best choice in the area"
pjce717, 20 Octobre 2017

Very nice hotel. Small lobby with a tiny bar area.Greeted promptly at the front desk. I had lucked into a suite for only a few $ more than the standard room when making my reservation. Lucky me! There was a comfortable living room with a love seat and chairs. The separate bedroom was huge, especially by NY standards. Nice bathroom with full amenities.A very comfortable stay.

"Wedding guests"
rose112d, 17 Octobre 2017

We blocked rooms for my Daughters Wedding weekend. Rosanna was a dream to work with. She helped with every detail and was always quick to respond. We enjoyed a Buffett breakfast the morning of the wedding in the Bridal Suite while the bridal party, MOB and MOG were getting thier hair and makeup done. Our guests had drinks at the lobby bar after the wedding. The following morning whatever guests remained enjoyed the restaurants reasonable Buffet Breakfast.

"Erika Jansen Makeup Artist"
824cheryl, 03 Octobre 2017

Ladies... This past weekend was my sons wedding weekend, which was hosted by this Inn for rehearsal dinner, after party andbreakfast. PERFECTION Another important aspect that I forgot to include in my previous review was that Ryan was able to secure me the BEST makeup artist ever after my original lady backed out at the last minute. Erika Jansen is AMAZING, professional and caring and awesome! If you want to look exceptional for an event or even just a romantic night out with your man call her. You will feel so confident and beautiful. I felt amazing all day and my makeup was applied at 9am and lasted perfectly until I went to bed at 2am. I purchased a lip gloss from her for touch ups throughout the day and that was all I needed. Treat yourself to an amazing experience. You will love it!

"My wedding weekend angels"
Cheryl S, 02 Octobre 2017

My son got married this past weekend. We used this Hotel for the rehearsal dinner, the after party and the hangover breakfast, and sleeping accommodations. My two beyond awesome contacts were Ryan and Julio aka My Angels. The hotel was clean and beautifully appointed. My guests were treated like royalty. The food and drinks were top notch! Every single person I came into contact with was helpful and smiling. I travel a lot and must say that this experience was beyond perfection. Every wish was granted and every need was met beyond my expectations. These two men do not know the words "no" or " we can't"! They made this journey magical from check in on Friday to check out on Sunday. I absolutely can't say enough good things about this place! Book it for yourself to experience the magical adventure that awaits you??

In the other hotel I have stayed at they bad my bed, and in this one I had to make my own bed, and they left the food try in the room for both days, and they did not pick up the bath towel from the first night I was staying in their. I am glad I am not going back to NY other then that it was a nice hotel.

"Nice place."

I loved the old town feel of this hotel. The reception personnel were professional and the room was spacious. Breakfast was tasty and the service was outstanding. I will be back soon. (This app is annoying asking me to write more)!

"Anthony was AMAZING!!!"
Sarah F, 03 Septembre 2017

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding of one of my best friends. The staff was great and extremely helpful - especially Anthony who works at the front desk. He was super nice and went above and beyond for everyone in our party! Thanks for an awesome time!

"Clean and comfortable with a less corporate atmosphere"
TravelFan48105, 23 Août 2017

This is a good hotel which was conveniently located for that day's work. I arrived in the evening to a nice warm welcome from check-in staff. My room was large, clean and comfortable. It was equipped with a nice desk, comfortable chaise, Keurig coffeemaker, and mini fridge. The bathroom was a decent size and updated. After a good night's sleep, I had the breakfast buffet which was $14.99 plus taxes and had a good selection of hot and cold items, including bagels, eggs, fresh fruit and decent coffee. The only unpleasantness came at check-out where the desk person was not very helpful and was unwilling to do his job with a smile.

"Wife going in Hospital "
Nason J, 21 Août 2017

We visited Long Island as my wife had (successful) Open-Heart surgery & the hospital recommended we stay at the Inn at Great Neck where they had a special rate for patient families. It's very nice boutique hotel with a VERY courteous & helpful staff including Paul, Anthony and Miriam at the front desk who were super helpful, and Gloria, Martha & Joanne in the restaurant that served a great hot breakfast buffet - except for the burnt toast (JK- personal joke!). The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I really liked the heat lamp in the bathroom to help you dry off and stay warm coming out of the shower. Overall, the Inn at Great Neck has a nice, cozy feel with a friendly staff; I highly recommend.

"Great place for a meeting or stay"
Anthony K, 18 Août 2017

Recently had multiple meetings for business - hotel was very accommodating, responsive, and friendly. The restaurant had very tasty food and in general-- the hotel had a relaxing atmosphere. We had a great couple days here!

"Daughters wedding"
happycat22, 16 Août 2017

We stayed over one night on the 15th of July. Our room was ready for my husband to get ready there early before wedding. Everything was just perfect when we got in that night. We were totally exhausted from the day so we slept well. The next morning we had a very nice brunch in one of the many rooms they have for catering. The bellhop was very patient with us getting our many bags from two rooms! The only negative is there is no parking lot and you have to use valet parking.

"Lovely hotel"
bkc229, 09 Août 2017

I stayed here as a bridesmaid with the rest of the bridal party and the bride for her wedding in New Hyde Park and it was great. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to us and all of our needs. The mother of the bride had breakfast sent up for us and it was simple bagels, muffins and fruit. Everything was fresh and delicious. The location of this place is very nice. LIRR is less than a minute walk and restaurants are within walking distance. There is also a CVS two blocks away, which was very convenient as well.

"Wedding Day Bliss! "
kerr0885, 08 Août 2017

I chose the Inn at Great Neck as the hotel I would be staying in for my wedding day and also where I invited my family members to stay, as well. I had originally been introduced to Ryan Curran the day after I had booked my wedding venu. From the moment he emailed me, his professionalism and willingness to assist me with anything was overwhelmingly refreshing and pleasant. We kept in touch for over a year and he helped coordinate anything needed. Upon arriving at the Inn the day prior to my wedding I was greeted by the valet attendants and the front desk concierge who went above and beyond in every way. Everyone knew who I was and congratulated me on my marriage. Every one knew me by name and made me feel so special. I had a few requests for the order of the rooms for my family members and even though they only have about 50 rooms they were able to accommodate me with a pleasureful attitude. The rest of the day into the next the entire staff made me feel like a princess. I have stayed in many Ritz Carltons and other extravagant hotels, but never experienced true service like this. Ryan and the team made my wedding day a true fairy tale come true. Even down to the details of Ryan setting up our honeymoon suite with rose petals and champagne and a beautifully written note from him. I am still in awe over the entire experience and cannot thank them all enough for what they did! We will be back each year on our anniversary!

"Always a great place to stay"
Richard M, 02 Août 2017

I've been traveling to Great Neck for work the past 2 1/2 years and have stayed here most of my trips. It is a fantastic place and the everyone treats me wonderfully. Great bar and restaurant. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Very close to a neighborhood full of restaurants and the LIRR is only a short walk away. There is even a movie theater within walking distance. I highly recommend the Inn at Great Neck.

"Awesome Hotel - Complete Surprise"
bccrab, 01 Août 2017

I had a meeting here and stayed in this Inn for one night. I thought it was a great hotel in a nice walkable neighborhood. My room was super quiet and comfortable. The staff were great and very helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions. Room service breakfast was very good and quick. My room was right next to the small workout room but when I closed the door I couldn't hear a sound - very soundproof room. Bed was fantastic. I don't get to LI often but I'd definitely stay here again.

"what a pleasant surprise in great neck n.y."
jerryr111, 20 Juillet 2017

we were very pleased when we checked in and were so pleasantly greeted. The employees obviously went through wonderful training and it was evident during our 5 day stay. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and was very good. The hotel is conveniently located near he heart of a Great Neck all activity and the train station. The rooms are very nice and large and clean and well appointed. .....I will definitely stay here the next time in town.

"Simply amazing ! "
kanella007, 11 Juillet 2017

I have stayed at many places and no place compares as far as impeccable hospitality customer service and cleanliness. Anthony At the front desk is beyond amazing! Anthony is so on top of his game! He is so courteous, polite and incredibly friendly. I felt right at home. Anthony is experienced and so kind I was taken back at how someone can be that wonderfully accommodating ! He in my eyes deserves every promotion there has to offer. The rest of the staff was so polite and sweet as well. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was beyond delicious ! Bartenders are so cool too ! If you are in town or need a weekend getaway I recommend this place !

"A bit worn........"
DanoNJ, 11 Juillet 2017

This hotel is well located in Great Neck and accessible to the corporate parks in the surrounding areas. Lobby is nice enough and service was fine after checking in. However, when I called to ask about my reservation, I waited on hold for 10 minutes and then gave up. I called back several hours later and was put on hold again - this time waiting almost 10 minutes again before talking to someone. The room itself is a bit worn out. The air conditioner is extremely noisy turning on and off all night, there was paint peeling off of the ceiling in the bathroom and the bed & furniture should be replaced. Being in a rush, I opted for the buffet breakfast - $18 for food that sadly was barely edible. On top of that, an automatic gratuity of 19% for a BUFFET! There must be better places to stay in the area. Will investigate.....

"noisy air conditioner and worn out room"
MaeFlower05, 07 Juillet 2017

I was staying at the hotel for a wedding in the area. My room was dirty, dark and small. It was as though the room had been part of a suite which had been chopped into separate rooms. The television was off to the left of the bed. When I say that the room was dirty- I mean that there was hair on the toilet seat, hairs in the air vent, and stains on the carpet. But the worse thing was that the air conditioner was extremely noisy. I complained about the air conditioner on the first night and was told there was nothing they could do. Then after being woken up multiple times during the night- I complained in the morning and they were able to fix the air conditioner. On the up side the staff was very nice- however based on my room I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

"A last minute booking with a night to remember!"
Allison D, 04 Juillet 2017

We were attending a wedding in Great Neck and decided to stay at The Inn since it was very close to the event venue. From the booking to check in to the check out everyone was extremely helpful, courteous and our room was very clean with a lot of space. I was a tad concerned when I looked out the window and saw rail tracks and thought OMG I will hear a train go by every so often but I was wrong. No noise, a rest-filled sleep and a place I highly recommend staying at if you're in town. Cheers to The Inn!!

"A very nice find in a good location"
Al-Sue-Maine, 29 Juin 2017

Location is dependent on where you want to be, but for doing business in Long Island, and having access to NYC, this is a good place. The hotel is very nice - probably the nicest BW we've ever stayed in, and for the quality of the place the prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a bar in the lobby, and a nice restaurant attached. The location is very close to downtown Great Neck; a lot of things are within easy walking distance. Parking can be a problem, but the valet parking is very reasonably-priced. The hotel is also pet-friendly, though there is a charge. Prices vary by season and perhaps occupancy levels, but prices are generally pretty reasonable. It's our "go to" place in the area.

"Unfortunate customer"
Donna D, 13 Juin 2017

As a long term senior employee myself in the hotel hospitality industry. I am well aware that this is not the way to treat situation I encountered with particular accommodation at the Great Neck Inn. Beware of providing your credit card information. I had made a reservation for the weekend and was informed the Sat night was unavailable but could be put on a cancellation list. Requiring multiple nights I booked the available Friday night with the chance the sat would come av.ailable as encouraged by the guest service agent. I was able to find suitable accommodation at another location so within a week of a 24 hrs cancellation policy I called and cancelled. I received an email confirming my reservation and charged when should have been cancelled. I made a personal visit and Priscilla and Anthony reassured me this would be taken care of. Another email informed me this was a no show and charged the full amount. So be careful you don't have to cancel when making a reservation at this establishment. Our hotel would never treat our guest and their hard earned money so poorly. We like our guests to return

"Nice & clean hotel, terrible for conference"
Kay Y, 02 Juin 2017

The room itself is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, but definitely outdated. The lobby is cool with the art deco style and the staff are great & attentive. We were at the hotel for a work conference and the ballroom/conference facility was atrocious/totally outdated. The sound system barely worked, the acoustics in the room were not good, the food service was a disaster. It felt like they never do conferences and I really hope we don't do ours again next year there. For a hotel stay only, it was great and super close to the LIRR stop and cute shops/restaurants.

"First time at the Inn: Won't be the last!"
Brandy J, 25 Mai 2017

This was my first time in New York and I can't wait to come back thanks to the Inn at Great Neck! Everyone here is incredible from the front desk staff like Miriam to Moe at the bar. I felt like an old friend thanks to their friendly conversation and caring attitude. While everyone was wonderful, I was especially impressed with their shuttle driver Hubert. He was the most considerate and accommodating driver I have ever had. He was so friendly and informative about the surrounding areas that I picked his brain almost daily about local history and places of interest. I looked forward to my daily rides with Hubert and the great conversations, which he made sure included everyone in the van. I was also very impressed with Felix, who always had a smile and kind words no matter how busy he was. Felix seemed to remember everyone staying at the Inn and would go above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere to go along with their wonderful staff. The beautiful art deco decor and clean, comfortable rooms just made my stay a truly memorable experience. I can't wait to come back and see everyone again!

"Wedding weekend hotel"
3CCS, 24 Mai 2017

Prior to our son's wedding weekend, Ryan (social coordinator) worked with us for the past year to ensure guests attending our son's wedding would have an amazing experience throughout the wedding weekend. We highly recommend your Inn because of Ryan. We took advantage of shuttle service, late bar and breakfast buffet. Rosanna was very helpful too. She answered my many, many emails quickly and addressed all of my inquiries. We blocked 14 rooms for our guests the weekend of 5/20/17. The hotel has an art deco vibe and from the moment you enter the premises you realize you are not an ordinary hotel! All of our guests loved the lobby, lounge, bar and restaurant decor. The rooms were impressive and immaculately clean. Mo the bartender was so personable and fun. The Omelette Chef and waiter and waitress who ran the breakfast buffet were excellent and attended to our guests' requests with professionalism. Our shuttle driver, Hubert, was entertaining and made sure everyone arrived to and from the wedding reception safely. Everyone single staff member we encountered at the Inn at Great Neck were friendly and professional from the valet parking attendants to the front desk staff to the bartenders and restaurant staff to the housecleaning crew. A few of our friends accidentally left items behind and the housecleaning staff immediately went to rooms to retrieve items for us. We were so happy we booked our group at the Inn at Great Neck. A great time was had by all!

"Good"
Frances B, 23 Mai 2017

We spent one night while stopping to visit family. Art Deco decor gave atmosphere. The staff was nice and valet parking a must in that area. The room was comfortable. It was rather pricey but for one night alright

"Daughter's Bat-Mitzvah"
reisnerpr, 23 Mai 2017

I had my daughter's bat-mitzvah party at The Great Neck Inn. Ryan Curran, the social sales manager was amazing to work with. Very professional, kind and patient. His team of waiters/waitresses, security, door attendants were absolutely lovely and very attentive. Ryan and his staff went above and beyond to make my daughter's special day wonderful. Rosanna was also amazing too. She helped me with the preparation and details before the party. I still don't know how she was able to get that enormous cake we were serving inside the kitchen. I was holding my breathe a little but, Rosanna delivered. I also loved the rooms. So spacious and clean and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. We enjoyed brunch at the restaurant the following day. It was a nice selection of muffins, french toast, waffles, eggs, fruit, etc. I definitely recommend The Great Neck Inn for an event you may be having, a special lunch/brunch or even a night out and stay over for an overnight or weekend.

"Family-like atmosphere"
Jussi S, 22 Mai 2017

I was on a business trip in New York and spent a week at the Inn. I have to say that the hotel surprised me very positively. It's very clean and welcoming, and the rooms are comfortable. The bed was also very nice to fall in to after a long day. The kitchen is very good. Have to recommend the beef brisket, absolutely delicious. A big thanks goes also to the hotel staff. Thank you Mounsiff and Yolanda for great service and company. BR from Finland

"Quality service "
Jessica D, 18 Mai 2017

Large, clean rooms. Great Art Deco decor. Walkable community with area restaurants. Free, punctual shuttle to nearby locations-great for business travelers. Overall excellent service at all levels - front desk, restaurant, driver.

"Stayed overnight as part of a Bridal party."
Sue Ann C, 17 Mai 2017

The stay was too short but very pleasant. The wedding was at a local venue so the bridal party made arrangements to make rooms available to guests. So convienent, after the church we dropped our bags off at the Inn and a shuttle took us to the recception which was near by. After the reception the shuttle picked us back up and took us to the Inn. The bar stayed open late to accomodate the guests for a cash bar after the wedding. Then the bride and groom arranged a breakfast buffet for the overnight guests. The overall trip was wonderful.

"Wedding prep"
Sara R, 16 Mai 2017

A suite was reserved for a bridal party to prep for a wedding. Staff was nice, suite was a bit small for our group even though the bridal party wasn't very big. However the valet staff was amazing because it was pouring rain and we were in and out a lot and they let our cars idle near by on many occasions. They seem like a great place to hold an event and even had several going on that day.

"Exemplary customer servicee"
Edward930, 13 Mai 2017

I am a regular business traveler to the area and stay at the Inn most weeks. The whole staff, front desk, valet, drivers, servers, bartenders, service people; any and all associates, truly understand how to exceed the customers' expectations. Clearly their culture is 'customer first', hats off to the ownership, management, and their team for consistently making me and all guests feel like they are truly valued. Shout outs and thanks to all.

"Reunion brunch for 25 people "
Holly H, 10 Mai 2017

My event was a huge success due to the excellent staff here. From booking the event to the food on the actual day, everyone was a pleasure to work with and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. Thanks for a job well done!

"Booked 30 rooms and brunch for son's wedding "
Lynn-Anne S, 08 Mai 2017

Very happy with Inn at Great Neck. Booked 30 rooms for our son's wedding this weekend. Rosanna was extremely helpful and cooperative with questions, changes and additions. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Staff very accommodating. Brunch for 72 excellent. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend The Inn at Great Neck!

"Clean Hotel, Great Location"
hercush, 28 Avril 2017

We recently stayed in this hotel for one night while visiting the area. The accommodations were clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent, and we were able to walk to sites nearby. Before leaving, I booked a return stay. The front desk was helpful in any requests.

"Glad we booked here."
BobCMiddletown, 23 Avril 2017

We stayed two days in this hotel. They call it a Best Western Premier but it's not a BW by any standards. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean. A very nice restaurant in the Lobby area and one of the best stocked bars I've seen in a hotel. The Management and staff were very accommodating. It was so good were heading back on another business trip and will be staying there tonight.

"Wonderful location in Great Neck"
Emptynest2, 07 Avril 2017

Nice boutique hotel on Long Island. We were here for a family wedding and we're pleasantly surprised by how nice and unique this hotel is. Very comfortable and clean. Very close to restaurants and shopping. Amazingly close to the Great Neck LIRR so very convenient for going into NYC. Did not hear trains so the building seems well insulated. The staff was friendly and helpfully well! Overall a great stay!

"wedding overnight stay"
Pat L, 03 Avril 2017

stayed for one night for a local wedding. nice brunch on Sunday morning. Didn't really use any of the hotel facilities . Did use room service on afternoon of arrival and was nice. Staff friendly and helpful

"This is a Premier hotel?"
Harris T, 02 Avril 2017

Second time at this property, both for a friends child's wedding. It pretends to be a boutique little hotel but in actuality it's just a Best Western with nicer trim. If you sit in the bar/lobby restaurant every time someone comes in or out be prepared for the blast of cold. Hotel policy says you can't bring your own bags up to the room? Sounds like a scam to boost staff tips. One big positive - very comfortable bed. Big pet peeve of mine: toilet bowls do not belong next to the tub.

"OVERPRICED"
jerrolds2017, 31 Mars 2017

hotel charges for parking they have a very overpriced restaurant. attended a breakfast buffet, and the eggs were cold and there were no bowls for the cold cereal. it was not an oversight, because I asked for a bowl and I was informed there was none. the breakfast buffet paid by the host was very expensive, especially for we got.. it was a pathetic buffet.. I had better free breakfasts included with stays at other hotels. I will never use this hotel again. a rip off.

"Overpriced Hotel"
hsperling005, 30 Mars 2017

Do not go to this hotel unless you want to be ripped off. They charge for you to park your car daily and it's valet parking only so your also tipping employees. The restaurant menu is overpriced. For room service a $2 fee is added onto each thing you order.

"Great hotel, got upgraded to a suite!"
Tysie86, 19 Novembre 2016

Had my brothers wedding in the area and couldn't of found a better spot. Right next to cafes, bars and shops. A beautiful little suburb.. We were also upgraded to a more expensive suite because it wasn't being used.

"In a pinch "
User, 19 Novembre 2016

I am a Great Neck local who needed to stay last minute at a nearby hotel. Conveniently I was accommodated by The Inn at Great Neck with ease efficient and very nice service . I was extremely delighted by the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, the friendly and efficient staff and the close proximity to town with quick eats shops and the train into manhattan 30 minutes away. I travel all the time and stay in many hotels this was surely an extremely nice place to stay .

"Decent for business travel"
Ying S, 16 Novembre 2016

The location is great as it's so close to the LIRR station. It takes about 30 mins to get to Penn station. My room on the 5th fl was spacious. Everything was pretty clean and neat. Housekeeping lady was so friendly. Overall, the service was not bad. The room is kind of worn out and not many TV channels available (specifically no local sports channels). However, the wifi was fast and stable enough to stream video. Another drawback would be that you can hear the LIRR trains come and go during the night as it's so close to the train station. If you are a light sleeper, it can be troublesome. Overall, it's decent and convenient for business travel. If I were on a leisure trip, I would personally find somewhere else, simply for a better experience.

"Spectacular hotel for wedding guests"
Lmitrani, 09 Novembre 2016

We had over 30 rooms booked for a wedding; all of our guests raved about the hotel--it has a charming, comfortable ambiance and the service is first rate. I worked with Rosanna for several months before the wedding--to arrange transportation to the wedding venue, to arrange a hospitality room, etc--and she was a pleasure to work with. Not only is she super responsive and professional, she also let me have my dress sent to her personal office a week prior to the wedding! I highly recommend the Inn at Great Neck and their fantastic staff.

"Great service"

"Nice Hotel in a nice area"
Q4942JUchads, 30 Octobre 2016

I stayed at the hotel several times and have not had much disappointment. Friendly, clean atmosphere in a nice neighborhood. A little on the pricier side with a bar and small restaurant. Always a good place to stay on a long trip.

"Great Manhattan Alternative "
Lisa J, 28 Octobre 2016

Love this place. Located in the heart of the charming village of Great Neck it's convenient to everything. Hotel is beautiful and service by all staff is great. They really make you feel at home. Wonderful bar and restaurant too. When we stay here we often travel in to Manhattan for business or pleasure and it's an easy trip. Hotel is a quick walk to the train station and the train ride into the city is quick and easy. Hotel rate is easily half of what you would pay in the city and Great Neck has many great shops and restaurants. Love the city but this is a lovely break!

"Excellent wedding weekend! 20+ rooms and big Rehearsal dinner party"
whuck, 26 Octobre 2016

I booked 20+ rooms for the weekend (40+ room nights) and all the guests were charmed by the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. No the hotel isn't brand new but it's full of character, everything worked well and the staff was great. We also had our large rehearsal dinner party in their banquet rooms and the setup, menu and execution was flawless. Each plate looked and tasted as if it had been made to order rather than one of 50. I cannot say enough about Ryan Curran, event manager, who worked closely with me for over 4 months to block the rooms, plan the dinner and execute. However, entire staff was top notch. Great job, memorable weekend!

"Does the job. "
David S, 23 Octobre 2016

While in Great Neck there aren't many options. Rooms are clean but dated. Resturant has surprisingly good food. If you need a reliable hotel for a day or 2 this is your spot. Location is perfect as it's a block or two from town.

"About valentines weekend "
Rhonda B, 22 Octobre 2016

I am very excited about valentines weekend 2017 ,staying at the inn @ great neck ,you cannot say one bad thing about this exquisite hotel and the kindness of each and every staff !the hotel itself is kept well maintained and never ever far from perfect ! Rhonda Bienes

"GNN North Clas of 66 Reunion"
w0nder18, 19 Octobre 2016

Everything was perfect; the room, the staff, the food. Ryan did an incredible job of meeting every need we had. The room was beautiful and the valet people were so helpful. The lobby is lovely. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making ths a magical weekend for all.

"Nice, simple hotel"
Richard D, 17 Octobre 2016

Travelling here on business. Hotel has restaurants and shopping that are walking distance. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean but a little dated. Wifi let me stream video with ease. Room service available with good choices, lobby is quiet and inviting to work in.

"PERFECT UPSCALE HOTEL IF YOU ARE ON LONG ISLAND!"
Susan D, 12 Octobre 2016

We only stayed one night (unfortunately!), but our suite was perfect and beautiful for the three of us. Our generously sized room left us wanting for nothing. The bathroom was luxurious and we even had an ironing alcove. The pull out couch and king bed were extra comfortable and we loved the robes too. We were lucky enough to enjoy some wonderful cocktails at the gorgeous bar where Carlos ( I hope I got his name right) took perfect care of us. They also have a lovely restaurant which we will try next time. This elegant Inn has it all, and if you can use your points you will be lucky like we were! It has a great location for all of your travel needs.

"Hits and Misses"
KKEJM, 07 Octobre 2016

If you need a hotel in the area it's probably the best option. It does have issues though. Our room had an exhaust fan in the bathroom that rumbled in the wall separating the bathroom from the bedroom. It was a loud humming motor sound all night. I sleep lightly and had a tough time on night one. I talked to the front desk and was told there were no other two bed rooms available so they sent an engineer up. His fix was to put a tissue over the vent. It did quiet it somewhat but seriously? I went to our same room on another floor and it did not have the same problem. My daughter had a room with two beds that also did not have the issue. My brother in law stayed for one night and complained of the same thing in his room. Why not install a fan in the bathroom that turns on when you turn on the light. We were there 5 nights. I had to buy ear plugs to sleep. We had 3 people in the room. The toilet paper was less than half a roll two days and housekeeping didn't replace or add another roll to the room. I finally had to call. Nicely designed hotel but it needs some work.

"Loved it!!!!"
Bklynbrain, 02 Octobre 2016

Upon arriving the outside is in great shape and looks really nice. Nothing crazy but definitely it's been kept in great condition. As I pull into the drive Way I am greeted by the valet guy. His name is Mike he was polite professional and had a great attitude. Immediately helped us unload our car onto a cart as we get situated inside with the young lady named Miriam he put our car in the garage for us . The lobby was beautiful it was modern and tasteful. Miriam is also very professional & polite. She gave us a quick run down and check us in extremely fast but was very thorough in giving us the information we needed. We stood there for one day and anything we needed Mik and Mariam helped us out. They gave us directions to the local stores local restaurants even gave me a pass to go to the gym up the block. Upon entering the room on the fifth floor we were amazed on how beautiful it was. We have stayed at many places and this one was in the top five. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We were really impressed that they had organic coffee. They folded the towels in cute little shapes. We had made a reservation for dessert at the restaurant downstairs, The restaurant was also very beautiful. While there we got some fried calamari and two different desserts. We got there before they're about to close and not once did anybody rush us to eat our food. The dessert was nicely prepared and tasted delicious along with the fried calamari. This hotel also has a late night bar for the ones who want to hang out and have a few drinks when everything else is closing. It's also a lot safer not having to leave the hotel and have a few cocktails.. we requested a late check out so we can get a couple of things done in the area and without hesitation they said no problem. I have to say that one time someone knock on my door to harass me about leaving. When we left I asked Mariam if she knew anyone that could set up a tie for me, she called someone on the radio and then had Mik run the tie down the hallway, within two minutes he had it around my neck ready to go. I give this place five stars. From cleanliness to convenience to politeness it was great.

"Really nice overall environment, with great service form all angles"
Bobby B, 30 Septembre 2016

The Jacuzzi was great and the mineral salts made it even better. Room and furniture really nice. Big, nice bathroom. The robes came in handy, all the devices worked well. A/C responded well, TV worked easily and conveniently.

"Great place in Great Neck"
Kurt H, 29 Septembre 2016

The Inn at Great Neck is by far the best hotel in Great Neck, NY. It is extremely clean and very comfortable. The hotel staff will go out of their way to help in any way they possibly can. There are many restaurants within walking distance, and the Long Island Rail Road station is less than a block away with a 20 minute ride to Penn Station. If you rent a car, parking can be a problem, although the Hotel has valet service. If you fly into JFK and use the Air-train to the LIRR a rental car is not needed with the train station so close. There is also great cab service in Great Neck, and an excellent liquor store just across the street from the train station.

"Great Service and Nice Rooms"
MarshBruce, 28 Septembre 2016

Comfortable room. Windows that open. Sink in washroom. Pleasant In-house restaurant for breakfast. Nice sized flat screen TV. Free Wi-Fi. Convenient valet parking at $14/day. Only wish pillows were more comfortable. Helpful staff. Front desk could not advise as to location of nearest 24-hour restaurant when we arrived after mid-night; later we learned it is the Bayside Diner down Northern Avenue.

"Honeymoon"
Rgibson198, 26 Septembre 2016

I did not want to travel far for my honeymoon and read the reviews on the inn at great neck and thought it looked like a lovely place. The minute I walked in I was welcomed by the valet. I noticed how pleasantly quiet it was as I entered the lobby. Unfortunately my first disappointment occured when I checked in. I had made my reservation four months in advance. In both, speaking to the staff and e mailing several times informing them I suffer from claustaphobia and could not take an elevator they informed me my room was on the 4th floor!! I was so exhausted I just accepted the room and hoped to speak with the staff in the morning to be moved to a lower floor. The next day I approached the front desk explaining the situation and that I had made the request and confirmed via e mail by management months ago was told the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do. The remaining days of my stay I had to climb 4 flights each time I left the room to dine. To add insult to injury my room was right above the train station!!! On the brighter side the meals were deliciously prepared and the dining room staff professional and friendly. Each staff member I encountered was equally as professional. The room was clean and comfortable. Would I return again? I am on the fence, however it is a lovely quiet hotel great for business layovers or a shot escape from reality

Great experience at this hotel. The room is excellent, clean and spacious. Definitely a great place for business or pleasure. Quiet and great place for a business program. The entire staff is professional and accommodating

"Fun Stay! Rad Lobby :)"
msumm077, 08 Septembre 2016

I came to Great Neck for my cousins wedding just 15 minutes away from the Inn. I fell in love with the lobby decor right away and all the cool chairs they had :) We are a pretty loud bunch and all of their staff put up with us and even had fun with us with smiles on their faces which is GREATLY appreciated! BIG shout out to Mike the Valet who took care of all of us the entire weekend with great hospitality! Thanks for a memorable stay!

"What a gem!"
Kevin K, 07 Septembre 2016

What a little gem right in Great Neck! We were invited to NY for a wedding that was about 15 minutes away from the hotel. It looks like a small local hotel from the outside. You walk into the lobby and it smells so good right when you walk in. I forgot the names of the people at the front desk but when I was checking in I was starting to get a little annoyed that it was taking so long. Then I realized that two people were working together to accommodate my requests for room size and location. We got exactly what we asked for . The rooms are spacious and clean, the bedding and furnishings new and the bathrooms updated. The place was nice, the people were nice and since they don't have much of a workout space they gave us free access to two health clubs that were within walking distance. The hotel is located close to coffee shops, restaurants and other shops. Really enjoyed our short stay there.

"I'd stay here again"
RustyS03, 05 Septembre 2016

Purpose of trip: visit to USMMA. After researching the hotels in the area, I decided on this one and was so pleased that I did. Staff was very accommodating as I needed an early check in and they were gracious and pleasant. The front desk clerk was also a jogger and provided me with a running map and suggested route. The restaurant was very tasty and service excellent. I was very pleasantly surprised and would love to stay here again. Very highly recommended

"Very clean and very polite staff"
Squawbrook, 24 Août 2016

My wife and i stayed here and we would recommend it to anyone. The buffet breakfast is acceptable and the service during breakfast is very good. The room was very clean and the overall hotel was clean. The Valet parking attendants are polite and friendly. All in all a very good spot. It is somewhat dated however still very nice.

"Staff and wifi"
AnAnthropologist, 12 Août 2016

I have stayed here repeatedly over the last year when in the area on business. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is terrific and the location is great-- within walking distance of a lot of restaurants. The only downside from a business perspective was that the wifi was terrible. However, that has been addressed which is great. Definitely the place to stay in the area.

"Charming with very friendly staff"
David W, 11 Août 2016

Stayed at this hotel as part of a block of rooms for my nephew's wedding. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The large king room was very nice and larger than most hotel rooms. One thing that could have been better was having ice machines. You had to go down to the bar or call down and tip someone to come up with an ice bucket.

"Wedding Accommodations"
Emmanuel V, 07 Août 2016

We decided to suggest accommodations at the Inn At Great Neck for our recent wedding reception held at the Village Club of Lake Success. Rosanna, the manager, and her staff did a superb job. All in all our out of town guest booked over 30 rooms. The property was beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were given the option of hosting an after hours party at the hotel bar and also hosted a brunch that followed our reception day. We asked for several changes, welcome bags to be delivered to each room, information to be posted to guests as well as coach buses to use this hotel as the meeting spot for guests who didn't have transportation and were staying at other properties in town. All our guests complimented us on an exceptional weekend. Thanks Inn At Great Neck. We could not be happier.

"Nice Art Deco Hotel - Good Staff"
DonutSprinkles, 06 Août 2016

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The lobby has a seating area that blends into an area for the bar, which serves food. Small buffet style breakfast on mornings for approx. 15 bucks. They automatically tack on gratuity, which I thought was interesting. There is a free hotel shuttle that will transport you to a pretty wide area. I was there for business and it took me to my office 11 miles away. You need to make a reservation to be sure there is space. You can also reserve for large groups in advance. The immediate surrounding area is pretty low key. A few places to eat a block away. Although I should add that the hotel food is decent. Super close to the train station (block and a half) you can easily get into downtown New York in 30 minutes. Staying here there really is very little if any need for a rental car. I stayed on the "train" side of the hotel and although there is a double pane, you can still hear it. I slept through it both nights, no problem. But definitely a consideration for light sleepers.

"ArtDeco hotel but over priced for what it was "
berrycleo, 02 Août 2016

Friendly helpful staff particularly the bell boy who was very helpful as we had a lot of luggage and he also was the valet Parker. and ok facilities if a little tired. Fridge and microwave was useful. Room service menu was not too dear if limited. but in general the hotel was over priced for what it was.

"Thank you Samuel!"
louwheesy, 31 Juillet 2016

The hotel was very clean, turn down service was lovely. Food and décor was exceptional, all the morning wait staff was excellent and couldn't do more. Reservation agent Samuel went above and beyond to help with everything I needed and even with my computer issues. So professional and very kind. Thanks so much!

"Beautiful hotel"
Maria A, 27 Juillet 2016

My husband and I spent an over night for a family wedding that was local. We were able to have a shuttle drop us off and pick us up from the venue. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly, polite and willing to go above and beyond. We would definitely stay there again!

"ArtDeco ambience"
Paula D, 24 Juillet 2016

We enjoyed our one night at the Inn. The staff was extremely accommodating from the gracious valet and desk clerk to the very prompt room servers. The room was large and lovely. We had read reviews about the street noise but were not bothered by it at all.We enjoyed the view from the small balcony. We ordered room service for dinner and were pleased with promptness and quality of food. This hotel is well worth your consideration.

"The room was large and comfortable, but smelled of stale cigarette smoke"
L W, 23 Juillet 2016

Our experience was average at best. It was clean and spacious, but smelled of old cigarette smoke. Dinner in the restaurant was mediocre and breakfast the next morning was okay, but nothing special. Service was pretty good, but there really weren't that many patrons in the place.

"Weekend Stay"
rocheny, 21 Juillet 2016

Had our wedding guests stay at this hotel over the 4th of July weekend. Ryan and Rosanna were fantastic. They were able to provide all the rooms needed and the free shuttle to the venue was an absolute plus. They offered the bar for an after party and a brunch was available also

"Not the greatest"
Laurie H, 20 Juillet 2016

Terrible parking situation. You either pay $14 per day or pay to park in the town lot where there is a time limit. Sheets were rough! The shower head sprayed everywhere, including the ceiling. Mold was growing and the paint was peeling off from continued dampness. The ad said robes provided, only one in the room. Outside our window (which didn't open at all) there was a lot of trash. It's Ann older hotel, which we thought would have charm, instead is showing her age. Nothing impressive at all. It was a convenient location, but I don't want to stay again. We wrote an email to the manager regarding our stay. The response was unimpressive. For the same money ($190-200) there are many hotels on LI that are very nice.

"Excellent small hotel (boutique)"
Brad M, 20 Juillet 2016

Everything you need in the Heart of Great Neck. Charming Facility with quick access to train to Manhattan, restaurants, shopping and all needs within walking distance. I have been staying here for years and it continues to improve.

"A Nice Suprise"
Rick M, 18 Juillet 2016

Recently stayed at the Inn At Great Neck for a wedding. The facility was clean with nice size charming rooms. On site parking valet parking was very convenient. The following morning we had brunch for the wedding guest and the food was excellent. The staff was attentive from the parking valet to the front desk to the wait staff.

"Deceitful, deceptive practices "
JanRSF, 12 Juillet 2016

We booked here for a wedding 6 months ahead of time and made two reservations, one for the two nights at the wedding rate and three additional nights at a cheaper weekday rate. These were done by phone so we only had a confirmation for the wedding block. Six weeks before we arrived a representative of the hotel called to ask if they could combine our two reservations and we said only if we could keep our lower weekday rate and they said no problem. However when we arrived we were charged at the higher rate which ended up costing us more than $100 and no amount of arguing would change their mind so we suggest that you only stay for your function then move on. The hotel is ok but Great Neck is a little boring. Not too many places to eat without a car although there was a good bagel store and a good deli two blocks away. The Great Neck train station is two blocks from the hotel so it is easy to get into the city.

"Great Neck stay"
Douglas S, 11 Juillet 2016

great costumer service the staff was wonderful room was nice the bathroom had lovely marble the shower had great pressure. exercise room very antiquated small and the equipment was a joke. other than that I slept great, appreciated the insulated windows so no noise was disturbing my rest. great location

"Hotel with Personality"
Margaret W, 06 Juillet 2016

I recently spent an overnight at the Inn at Great Neck because it was the suggested room block for a friend's wedding. Situated in the heart of the town of Great Neck in Nassau County Long Island is this gem of a boutique hotel with a 1920s flare. Convenient to the LIRR to travel into New York City, rooms are cozy and nicely appointed with a few retro decor items along with an single serve Keurig coffee maker in the room. I had just recently stayed at a Marriott Resident Inn and a full service Marriott, and the bed at the Inn was more comfortable. But best of all is the cozy little lobby bar to hang out and share drinks and conversation with good friends, but bring your wallet because the martinis are Manhattan prices! I also left something in my room and didn't realize it until I got home. When I called, I was placed on hold while the front desk immediately sent someone to the room to look for my forgotten item, which was retrieved, to my relief. I didn't partake in any of the culinary offerings while there so I can't review the food or service. They provide off street parking which you have to use at a cost of $14.00 per night because surrounding parking on the street is meters. Some shopping and restaurants are easily within walking distance also. There is something to be said about staying at a smaller boutique type hotel like the Inn, and that something would be I'd do it again!

"Comfortable Hotel with a Great Location"
TERRI SCHWARTZ, 05 Juillet 2016

We had a family party this past weekend and for the first time I had to stay in a hotel in Great Neck. The rooms are very nice, the beds extremely comfortable and they had Gilchrist & Soames toiletries in the bathrooms. It's located minutes from town so it's a perfect location if you want to shop, dine in a local restaurant or take the train to the city. Valet parking is available - there is a daily fee.

"A Great Hotel in Great Neck!"
Deborah387, 04 Juillet 2016

Well honestly can't say enough. The hotel is really pretty inside. Nicely decorated with calming colors and the that staff is willing to help in every way possible. Spend two nights and was able to walk the town even though many stores were closed your not stuck in your room! Jones Beach is about 40 minutes away (approximately - depending on traffic) but it's a beautiful beach so leave early in the morning and enjoy your day! 15 minutes from the Inn at New Hyde Park....(wedding reception only)

"Best Stay in Great Neck!"
Christian H, 03 Juillet 2016

Awesome art-deco hotel in Great Neck. Not a typical hotel like a Holiday Inn- it's a lot smaller and no typical ammenities like an ice machine and workout room. But never fear! Lots of space to work out in your room, and they bring ice to your room on demand. Great extras like complimentary water bottles and a Keurig machine with free K cups, but don't expect them to be brought up without asking. I had to call to the front desk every night to have them replenished, which was a minor nuisance, but they did it happily. If I were to stay in Great Neck, no doubt I would stay here. Did I also mention it's within easy walking distance to lots of stores, restaurants, and about a 4 minute walk to the LIRR? Awesome!
