I am giving a 2 star simply because the front desk was very friendly and the breakfast wasn't bad. Unfortunately, the comfort level was very disappointing. The mattresses were rock hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were equivalent to throw pillows. And the sheets/bedding were not held to any standard. We would have likely slept better had we thrown an air mattress on the boat and stayed on the lake.
The hotel was amazing. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. A young girl was training, she went out of her way to welcome us After we got into our room, she called to make sure everything was up to our expectations This hotel is excellent
Both the room and the breakfast were first rate. The front desk staff were more than helpful. We left an air purifier plugged in, and didn't realize the unit was missing until we got home. They found the unit, and are shipping it to us. A fair price, and a great stay. jack from Katy TX
We came to this area to visit Win Star Casino. All of the hotels by the casino were so expensive. We decided to stay here as it is just 25 minutes away and the cost is very reasonable. I am so glad. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of hot water. The bed was so comfortable. The associates are so kind, helpful and welcoming especially Jeel. We liked this hotel so much we decided to stay an extra night. Thank you for making us feel welcomed and for ensuring that our stay was perfect.
This hotel gets 1 star just because I can't give it a half!!! DO NOT stay here!! NO BREAKFAST! Rooms were NOT CLEAN! We couldn't get out of it fast enough!! It needs torn down as it past run down! The rooms stank and I was afraid of someone breaking in. We should have left!
Excellent staff, good experience. The facility is well kept and clean. The staff running the hotel are exceptionally friendly and highly cooperative. We have stayed at this location before and continue to be well pleased with the overall experience.
The hotel was fine. The only thing odd was when I checked out. The guy asked me multiple times if I was leaving. I let him know I was almost done with clearing out luggage and cleaning up after my family. My son went down to the car and the same man immediately came knocking on my propped open door. When I opened it, he asked again if I was leaving. I felt like that was odd. We still had over an hour before checkout.
Stayed two nights. Clean room. Accommodating front desk. Great breakfast selection both days. Easy in and out. Have stayed here before and not been disappointed. This hotel has inside rooms. Appears to be a safe environment. Clean inside pool. No hot tub.
I booked a room through hotels.com for the Best Western Plus in Ardmore, OK. I spent an entire evening looking at hotel reviews and since this location had good reviews and rooms with jetted tubs, I booked a king, non-smoking, jetted-tub room. It was about $100.00 more than a standard room, but we were looking forward to soaking in privacy instead of making a trip to the community hot-tub. I had the option to pay in advance with a non-refundable option or pay an additional $21.00 to be able to cancel if needed. I chose the non-refundable, pre-paid option. The front desk person was really friendly and check-in was a little bit long for someone who pre-paid and pre-checked in, but eventually we got our key cards and headed up to our room. As soon as I entered the room, there was no jetted tub. I went downstairs to speak to the same person who checked us in. I pulled up my receipt that clearly stated I booked a king, non-smoking room with a jetted tub. He told me that they only had two rooms with jetted tubs and they were already occupied. In addition, since I booked through a third party (hotels.com) I would have to contact them for any issues. He stated hotels.com sent it over as a king room only. I opened the hotels.com app and started a chat with an online agent. This person was very nice, confirmed the correct reservation and asked me to hold while they contacted the front desk. They then responded to say they had escalated this to the manager and asked for me to be moved. I told them there were no other rooms to move to since no other rooms had a jetted-tub. The response was to contact the manager. I spoke to the front desk clerk again. He stated hotels.com had called, but unfortunately, because there is a masked account number, he could not provide any help. He kept saying that if we had booked with them directly, he could have helped us out. I stated that I expected to be refunded the difference between a regular king room and a jetted tub room. He stated he would discuss it with the manager. We checked out the next morning and I did not ask to speak with a manager because I assumed this was something we could resolve online and the front desk was busy with customers checking out. When we got home, I had an email from hotels.com. They stated they had again contacted the hotel manager by phone to request a refund, however, since my booking was non-refundable and didn't allow for any exceptions, Best Western would not be issuing a refund. I immediately fired off an email to again explain I paid for something I did not receive. I also advised I was not looking for a full refund as we obviously chose to keep the room we were given. I stated a non-refundable clause should have nothing to do with being charged for a room I didn't get. I advised them I would be filing a case with PayPal and my bank and that I would no longer be using hotels.com to book my stays and I would not stay at a Best Western as well. Not that I thought that would have any impact, but by now, I was pretty upset. hotels.com responded to my email by saying the were extremely sorry and as much as they wanted to fulfill my request, they are subject to the rules and restriction of their vendors and they do not have authority to override their policies. They also wanted me to know their operation team will continue to do their best to improve their customer service so incidents like this will not happen in the future. I wrote back and told them they took my money for something I didn't get. I stated this was basically theft. I notified them I had filed a claim with PayPal and was also making formal complaints to the BBB against hotels.com and Best Western. I also advised that I would continue to fight this until it was made right and that due to the amount of time I have had to keep this in the forefront I would now be asking for a full refund. hotels.com responded and advised they would credit me 50 Key Rewards. Whatever that is. If someone tells you they aren't going to patronize your business any longer, the response is not to offer them some kind of discount that doesn't even begin to come close to making things right. I opted to take both hotels.com and Best Westerns surveys and I explained the situation as I have here. Today I got a random email from some company called 37131 Property to say they sincerely apologize for the issues I encountered with my reservation. They stated it's “frustrating” when booking expectations aren't met, especially after pre-paying for a specific room. They were sorry again for the inconvenience and lack of resolution between Best Western and Hotels.com. Have a great day. I have filed a complaint with the BBB as well as posting this review on their Facebook page. I'll update if anything is done about it, but I'm not expecting to get reimbursed. I just hope this saves someone else's money.
Great place to hang out with family at Lake Murray near by. Easy to find and get to the lake and house where family was staying.
Hotel Breakfast was nice, hot, and delicious. Many options to choose from. The bed was comfortable and clean from what we could tell. The bathroom, however, was not the cleanest. There was a half used roll of toilet paper with little hairs on it, glitter and hairs on the bathroom counter and in the sink. The stopper for the shower was removed prior to us checking in, and just sitting on the little shelf in the shower. They did have the best prices in surrounding areas, so 10/10 for not overcharging for a one night stay. Overall experience was 8/10.
Just moved to area and the house wasn't ready when we got here. What was only supposed to be a few days stay turned into a two week stay. The front desk helped us out with pricing due to our situation. The house keeping staff was great. Breakfast was excellent. The pool was nice to cool off in on a hot day stressful day. Overall this was the best hotel experience I have had at any hotel. 10 stars to the entire friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Ardmore, Oklahoma for business or leisure.
We had a couple of minor problems which is why we gave a 4 instead of a 5. Overall a nice place to stay and we will stay again when needed.
This hotel had the best bed and pillows out of any hotel at which I've stayed. Truly slept well. Enjoyed the full breakfast with lots of options and the helpful staff and quietness of the hotel. Perfect stay! Would definitely recommend.
Room smells like mold. Bathroom smells like mold. Already having asthma issues after just 5 minutes. Carpet is moist in spots. TV doesn't work. WiFi is doesn't work. Lights were flashing off and on in bathroom while in shower. Couldn't switch rooms bc there was nothing else. I don't have a clue how this place got a 9.4 rating. I would hate to see what a 8.0 hotel would be like. 0/0 do not recommend. *The only good thing is the front desk lady is very kind and helpful.
Best Western is always my preferred hotel during travel…the ardmore location in particular! They are always so helpful and accommodating and I feel safe in their hotels!
The staff was great and check in was easy. The fitness center was clean and had good equipment. I was impressed with the breakfast.
We were greeted on our arrival by your friendly staff. Our room was clean and quiet too. We asked for evening food recommendations and enjoyed a busy Mexican restaurant nearby. Thank you! The hubs raved about your breakfast the next morning. The biscuits and gravy were delicious he said and I enjoyed your sausage patties and eggs! If we were ever in your neck of the woods again, we will enjoy another stay!
Stayed here with the family. The staff were extremely friendly. Was clean and the beds were comfortable. Let me tell you, this hotel had the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. The sausage was actually really good! The pool was a little cold. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.
In town for a square dance and once again selected the Best Western. We have stayed here 4-5 times in past two years. Hotel has had the same manager and staff which tells us it must be well run and a good place to work. We has a small problem with a BW gift card but the manager resolved it in a matter of minutes. The breakfast is wonderful with lots of hot and cold options as well as additional condiments for your real eggs like cheese, peppers, onions and salsa. Rooms are clean and hotel always feels bright and fresh. We highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.
We stayed here on our way home from a cruise. What a delight! The room was super clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Being on the road, breakfast is a necessity and this one did not disappoint. Great selection. WELL DONE! We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. And a great value too.
I am very hard to please in regards to hotels. I normally stay and Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. Some of those are great and some not so good. I stay away from Best Western because they are usually very nasty. I broke my Hampton Inn tradition and chose this hotel because of the reviews. Long story short, if you are not happy at this hotel, you cannot be made happy in a hotel. Nothing needed to be done better. The facility still feels like new, looks like new. I slept very well, and it was very quiet while the parking lot was nearly full. Breakfast never satisfies me, but this one was a bit better than what I usually find. Eggs didn't seem to be the normal bad stuff, might even have been cooked right there. No extra frills or bells and whistles at this location, just really clean, neat, and new looking. Nothing to be concerned about like mold, road noise, etc. Again, if you are not happy here, it will most likely be your fault. Do not hesitate to stay here and that is from someone who usually is not happy in hotels. My favorite place in the whole world is just inside my front door... this place would have to be my second favorite. Go for it!
Everyone was so friendly and helpful! We had a few special requests because of my abilities, and Jeel and James made accommodations. They also checked in with us several times to make sure all was well. Those two put service first. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Breakfast was excellent! We'll stay here again!
Starting for the procces to book a room was easy, when uou arrive to the front counter they are really nice and the whole process took me like 5 minutes or less, the room was clean a d look really nice , then the next day the breakfast was really good. There is a lot of option , wafles cup cakes beguels scramble eggs sausage. Overall was a great experience
The room was clean and big. Our room had a kitchenette and full fridge. It did not have utensils or cups however (didn't hinder us in anyway). Beds were comfortable and there was a huge breakfast in the morning. Air worked good. Friendly staff also!
The team at BW+ in Ardmore was warm and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was fresh and stocked and our room clean and comfortable. The location is convenient for interstate travel. We appreciated our stay at this facility.
Warmly greeted! This is a great and comfortable hotel to spend the night or several if in the area. Spacious Room extremely clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Excellent breakfast. Reasonable rates, Highly recommend, will return.
I had a stress-free stay here in Ardmore. The AC unit had a continuous fan setting and I heard no noise from my room. The breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. A great place to rest, just what I needed after a long day on the road!
Far Better than what we had expected. The hotel was super clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I mentioned at checkout that the next time we returned, that we would indeed stay at that location again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Slept all the night. Very comfortable bed and even the pillows were good. The entire room was exceptionally clean and everything worked. Even all the light bulbs were working. Wifi was good and strong. Breakfast was a little above your average motel breakfast and there was a good selection that was kept filled. Didnt like the coffee, but everything cant be perfect. Sam at the front desk got us checked in quickly. They even called after we had been in the room for a while to just make sure everything was to our satisfaction. At checkout Sam thanked us for our business and hoped we would return. Shook my hand and wished us a safe trip.
Everything was there and clean. Service was friendly and prompt. If you need anything- all you had to do is ask. We needed extra towels. Called and received them within 5 minutes. Extra towels were by the pool, so you didn't need to bring from room. Pool is inside. Can't beat the service.
Buyer beware! I booked this room via Expedia. I had an unexpected death in the family the morning of the trip. I reached out to Best Western Ardmore and explained the situation. They told me to contact Expedia, since they hadn't been paid yet for the room. I reached out to Expedia. They contacted Best Westen, who refused to refund or offer any sort of resolution. So I am now out $185.79!!
The staff was super nice and friendly! The hotel clean and spacious. Loved that they had a small bar for a relaxing drink. Several very nice restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Will definitely stay again.
The entire staff was phenomenal and helpful! Sid, Sanjay, James and Amy all went above and beyond for us. Several family members stayed here and we have not been together like this in years, the staff was great dealing with our requests and anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and fresh with a great selection. The drinks in the lounge were very yummy! No way to top the cleanliness inside and out nor the hospitality.
If you want a place with nice, friendly desk clerks, clean rooms, and the best breakfast buffet ever, then stay here in Ardmore, OK. You will not be disappointed. This place is made for the weary traveler and provides a great atmosphere in which to relax on your journey.
We visited turner falls Friday, Sat & Sun while there in Oklahoma we stayed at this hotel which was about 30 mins away from the falls. Our stay was great, breakfast every morning was hot and fresh. Beds were clean and comfy. Water pressure in the shower was not so great and the TV stopped working on the second night, but this were minor set backs. Would definitely be staying here again our next trip to OK.
#315 was a spacious room with a "kitchenette" -micro and fridge. I stayed here for 5 nights. Clean, good beds and I was not disturbed by noise. I had breakfast included but I did not find it very good to be honest. No problem for me though, as I had breakfast elsewhere after trying it the first morning. The front desk was very helpful, kind and serviceminded. I'll be back on my next trip.
We loved this place. One of the most friendly check-ins we have ever had. Room was huge with plenty of places to sit. Electrical outlets for all of our electronics. Comfy bed. Great wifi. Super breakfast. Quiet. Great location.
Very nice, clean 3-star hotel. All the staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable with nice linens and variety of pillows. Towels were nice too. Breakfast was good, with a variety of foods. The attendant in the breakfast area was exceptional, keeping foods stocked and area clean. The hotel was quiet for a good night's sleep.
We were traveling back from Texas to Missouri and needed a nice safe hotel on a late night drive. Did some quick research while in the Burger King drive thru and decided this was the best option. Plenty of parking, nice and clean, SUPER friendly lady at the welcome desk. Overall we couldn't have been more pleased. The previous night we stayed at a different hotel in northern Oklahoma and the experience was not as pleasant. We were thankful for the great experience and yummy breakfast!
We have stayed at this hotel before and will stay here in the future. We were on our way home to Canada from Texas for Christmas. The hotel is close to the interstate and close to a couple of restaurants. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was very adequate and what we needed to get us started for the day and quickly on our way. We will stay here again in the future and have recommended this hotel to others in the past.
I travel extensively and this hotel tops every other stay! Every employee I interacted with was exceptional. They have several different types of rooms including many with kitchenetttes. Their whirlpool room is very nice too. Breakfast was the best I've seen in any hotel without paying an additional charge. There were a lot of things to choose from and it was well stocked. The owner/ manager clearly wants his customers to experience top-notch service and it shows!
Large and clean rooms, amazing breakfast, and awesome staff! We will most definitely choose this hotel when we are in the area! The only bad thing was the slow elevator but i wouldn't even consider that bad!
Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us an excellent choice for a dinner restaurant. Also checked twice to make sure everything was fine in the room etc. At Breakfast the hotel owner stopped by our table to also make sure we enjoyed our stay. Very clean and well kept property.
Very friendly caring staff. This property is very nice , clean and comfortable. The breakfast had 1 of the largest selections I've found, on top of the usual eggs and sausage they offered fried potatoes, tortillas, cheese and polish sausage. The bar is an added bonus
After travelling 7 hours to pick up my granddaughter, we arrived very tired at the hotel. The check-in process was excellent! The room was very large and the bed extremely comfortable. We had a very quiet great night sleep! The breakfast was excellent with many choices! And the check-out process was perfect! Love staying at Best Western!
This hotel was one of the best ones I have been to in a long time. The service was well and the breakfast was amazing the women who cooked it did a really well job. The place was super clean. Every worker was very friendly. I will always go back here!
My family and I serve overseas, but tend to spend 3-4 weeks in hotels once a year when we return to the States. This place truly felt like home. The breakfast was top notch, the fitness center was perfect for our needs, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff is the definition of Oklahoma hospitality - my 60 year old dad at one point made a joke about the indoor pool room temp being too warm for his taste (it was warm, but it was lovely) and two folks came in immediately to make it more comfortable for him.
Have a great comfortable stay while picking up my children from a long stay in Texas and long drive. The hotel and staff made the trip worthwhile, stress free, and relaxing. The front desk ensured we were taking care of by costly rooms and also directing use for near activities.
Great hospitality & customer service! Great hot/ cold breakfast options. Safe and secure establishment for our vehicle and family. Very clean and sanitized rooms. Great internet service and Highly recommend!
This hotel was very clean and service was exceptional. The breakfast was good and they had plenty of selections to choose from. Our room was quiet and we had no issues with anything at the hotel. We would stay here again with no hesitation.
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was very clean and comfortable, hotel staff were always helpful, and we had nothing negative the entire stay. The breakfast each morning was amazing and the food was fresh and delicious. Overall I would stay at this hotel again the next time I go to Ardmore.
Was in town for business and family. This hotel is right off the I-35 exit and easy to get to. Since it is right on Broadway, there is easy access into the heart of town for business and Commerce Street. Even though it was close to I-35, I heard no traffic noise at all. Staff was very nice and the free breakfast was one of the best ones I've seen offered. During breakfast, the manager came around and greeted the guests, asking if everything was ok. Great attention to customers! Heard a bit of noise when the folks above my room checked in, but quieted right down and I didn't wake up once during the night. Would absolutely stay here again!
I was pleasantly surprised with our last minute stay in Ardmore. The surrounding area is very nice with tons of options for food, drinks, gas etc. The front desk employees were all very kind and helpful. They were super busy & sold out, I overheard, but we were checked in quickly and smoothly. Of course noise level was high being as it was Spring Break but not long after 10 pm (when pool closed down) things started to quiet. We booked two rooms and both were clean, modern and functional. Very happy with our stay & Ardmore is on our way home from visiting family, we will definitely be staying again!
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in a very long time. Great employees but the breakfast by far was the best I have had in a very long time at a hotel. I would stay here again if I need to.
Very clean and modern. Close to I-35 and local eating establishments. Will definitely stay here again if we're in the area and need a safe, clean place to spend the night. Ardmore is a nice town as well.
Speedy check-in. The room was large and very clean. The lighting was very good and the beds were great. No noise. You had to wait a bit for hot water but it wasn't an issue. At breakfast, the coffee machine was out of order and the gravy for the biscuits were terrible but everything else was good. We would stay here again.
Excellent hotel, comfortable rooms with plenty of space to move around. Breakfast has a great deal of variety and is excellent quality food. Beds are comfortable with nice linens and wall control thermostat was a welcome addition. Price is on par with the amenities and much better than higher priced hotels. Will definitely stay here whenever I am in town!
This hotel, in Ardmore, OK is super clean and has very friendly staff, good breakfast and feels safe, however, when staying here don't expect to be able to use the room's kitchenette. I stayed for 10 days. They do not provide utensils, plates, cups, toaster, etc. They said it was due to covid but that needs to change. This would have rec'd a 5 star from if the kitchenette was stocked.
We made a last minute decision to drive 3.5 hours to Winstar Casino. Luckily their rooms at a ridiculous $300+ a night were sold out! We found the Best Western in Ardmore less than 30 minutes away. Brand new hotel, excellent staff, very clean and easy exit off I-35. We could have stayed there 3 nights for the price of 1 night at Windstar. Great option!!! Definitely will stay again in the future!
Repeat guests - desk staff, manager and everyone we encountered was wonderful - friendly & accommodating. When the dining room is busy, whoever has a moment steps in and helps - super to see such teamwork. Everything was clean & well maintained. Desk clerk even stopped by our room to see if there was a problem because he could here beeping from the hallway. We'll be back!
My daughter and I like to take weekends sometimes to get away and pick a random hotel hotel somewhere and just go. The service, rooms and breakfast was phenomenal. We will definitely be finding a reason to come back.
The best place I have stayed and will stay again when I'm in town. Best serviceable has the best breakfast. Laundry room was clean and no problems with the machines. Bar was open and best service and even got stuff to make the drink I wanted.
Everything you look for in a hotel stay. The exterior/grounds were clean and inviting as was the lobby. Everything was clean and I saw people actively cleaning. My room looked and smelled 'clean', but not like disinfectant. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The hot breakfast was better than expected with the 'setup person' doing a great job of keeping everything filled and fresh looking. The check-in was a bit dicey as the clerk was not the friendliest but you never know what is going on in someone's life so ... but everything else was great. All in all, a great value, too. Will definitely stay again on my next trip.
This BEst Western, from what I understand, is fairly new. The outside of the building and the grounds are very pretty and well kept. The rooms are wonderful. The buffet is great. The front desk and manager are very personable.
We were very pleased with this hotel. Front staff was very friendly and accommodating with my request . Check in and checkout was easy and fast Our room was clean attractive and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was the normal hotel fare ...but it was hot and fresh and had good selection to choose from. Will definitely stay here again in the future. Management really took the effort and time to make sure his guest were satisfied in every aspect of their stay.
We'd never stayed at a Best Western before, but this was our best hotel experience! Extremely kind staff, great breakfast, and wonderfully clean room! We will definitely stay here when we come back to this town!
The property is well-maintained and clean. All of the staff were very friendly and very helpful. I was immediately greeted once I entered the establishment. After finishing all of my paperwork for the purchase rent a room receptionist more than helpful on explaining room location Hotel layout and all the amenities
The experience basically ruined my little get away. I was emailed a pre check in option the night before so that my room could be ready the day of. Showed up, room was not assigned yet. Looks like the hotel is owned by a Indian family who takes care of all aspects of the hotel. They were yelling from the desk to the 2nd floor back and forth if rooms were ready yet. I was given my room, had to call the cleaning people back in to vacuum because it had obviously not been there was trash all over the floor. I then saw dust all over the tables so took it upon myself to wipe everything down and it was dirty! Found hairs in the bathrooms as well. Looked like the only thing they did was change the bedding. I proceed to brush it off and get ready for my event, got a knock on the door to turn down my phone that was playing some music. Music was not even 1/2 way up on my phone speaker and it was 5pm and they were still cleaning all the rooms on my floor. Ok fine turned it off. husband and I proceed to leave to our event and once at the elevator get ran after by a gentleman who was no where near our room to remind us of the no smoking policy. We proceed to tell him we have not smoked in the room and he tells us he smells marijuana from our room and if our room smells of it they will charge us a deposit. At this point I am LIVID. I am now accused of smoking pot in the room. I was upset I didn't enjoy my event, didn't end up going to the casino I had been eating to visit and ended up picking up our stuff and driving 2 hours back home that night.
So we can go back and visit i will return to the best Western there right down the street they had go carts and a zip line there was a pool in the hotel that was pool that we got in after a long day of baseball
We stayed one night, traveling from Dallas to the Midwest. I called and Sanjay was helpful and professional. Check in/out was efficient and the room was very clean and super comfortable!! Full breakfast!! I would definitely recommend and stay again if I'm in the area.
Let me tell you if you're reading this run don't waste your money do not stay there let me tell you a little bit about my experience the room was horrible the customer service was horrible we rented five rooms spent all that money to get the rooms to go play at the casino to come to the dusty roach motel to get treated like we were some animals The Host manager whatever the housekeepers need to be fired they all need a whole new crew everywhere all the way around them and tell you I will never ever ever say there again my bathroom had pubic hair on the toilet and it wasn't my hair or any of our people somebody else's that was with us Air didn't work the bed was not clean we came a long way to this Bed bed bug hair infested Motel hair on it let's long bed bugs problem we had to clean our own rooms and change the bedding so unprofessional
In order to write a proper review, one needs to know who is writing it. Ive stayed at 5 and '7' star hotels in 8 different countries. My wife has a degree in hotel management. I'd classify this hotel as a nice 3.5 star hotel. The rooms are clean and modern. I stayed in a kitchenette suite and was surprised at how well appointed it was with a fan over the stove, and not a cheap fan, a braun. The staff is polite and accommodating. The breakfast was, surprisingly, cooked properly with an acceptable amount of choices. During this time of covid, sanitizer was provided. The staff wore masks. If I was to make a suggestion to the staff to improve service: When I entered the unit, I searched through the cupboards and drawers trying to find the cooking utensils. There are none. There's not much point having a kitchenette unit without a way to use it. I've stayed in kitchenette units before and all of them had a basic assortment of plates and cups, can openers, pots, pans etc. I was disappointed with that because I travel with food that needs to be cooked so I don't have to eat at expensive restaurants and I was excepting to have a basic spread of cooking equipment. Especially for the price. Please consider adding some basic equipment to your kitchenette units. I've never seen a kitchenette unit that doesn't have anything to cook with until this visit. Most people don't travel with an assortment of pots and pans, that's why we book kitchenette units, because those basic utensils are normally provided. So I was unable to cook the food I brought, and the kitchenette was of no value because I had to eat at a restaurant. In this regard, the room did not meet my expectations. That's the only complaint I have, and given that I booked a kitchenette so I could cook my own food, instead of a regular room, it's a big one.
We stayed for one night. The reviews on this hotel were accurate. Our room was ready when we arrived. It was clean, comfortable and quiet, despite being across from the pool. We were pulling a small trailer so parking was a bit tight that night as the hotel was full but we managed. We'll definitely stay here again if back in the area.
Our stay in Ardmore was a comfortable down-home experience. We were impressed with the cleanliness of our room and attention to detail. The staff was very professional, warm and welcoming. We were very happy to find a hotel with great facilities and an outstanding breakfast to top it off. --Looking forward to our next visit.
The staff was outstanding. They were helpful and friendly throughout our trip. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had many options and was well maintained. We'll definitely return to this hotel!
I've stayed at this hotel several times before and this time was a bit of a disappointment, the floor around the bed wasnt clean and we were only given 1 blanket and 1 pillow for the hide a bed, not sheets.
Nice updated room. Four soft small pillows on King size bed. We could not figure out where the room darkening shades were. The outside curtain did not move and then there were shears. Turned out the room darkening shades were behind the shears to the side. The desk clerk was nice enough to come in and help us with it. That breakfast was huge and hot. Big variety. Was a little scary that we had to serve ourselves during Covid. The hotel staff wore masks but some people coming in to serve themselves breakfast did not.The hotel water had a strong strange smell to it and the ice made our pop taste funny. Strongly recommend getting a filter for your water at that hotel!!!! From 3:00-4:00 am some people talked loudly outside our room in hallway. We heard them leave so we don't think they were staying at the hotel but possibly partying with someone there. Our room was very close to the front desk so they had to have heard them too. They should've told them to leave!!!! I don't think I would stay at that hotel again.
We tend to stay at a Hampton Inn in this same area, but because I am unhappy with the comfort level of the bed at Hampton Inn, we decided to try the Best Western Plus (given that it had great reviews so far). The lobby is very modern looking, colorful, clean. They actually had a small bar in the lobby open for guests, which we didn't try out. The front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. They have a heated pool that was open and a fitness center. We didn't use either, but we did look in on the pool. It was a nice little pool, but due to COVID, we didn't really want to swim. The room looked and smelled clean, and was quite large in comparison to other hotel rooms with 2 queen beds. There was even a lounge chair with ottoman in addition to the desk with chair and a padded bench. The hotel isn't far from a variety of restaurants, so we left to get some dinner. I suppose we could have eaten in the lobby/bar area, but there were only high-top tables with stools and couches. Not very conducive to eating BBQ. We went back down to the lobby at one point and the two front desk gentlemen were mopping the lobby and hallway. It's nice to observe the attempt at cleanliness - even without COVID. The room was a little warm overnight. We prefer a cooler temp for easier sleep, but I don't think the fan stayed on all night. In addition, the comforter on the bed was thick and warm. So, that didn't help with body temperature. The bed itself was a little more comfortable than the Hampton Inn bed - a little softer - and I appreciated this immensely. Also a plus (for me, due to allergies), there weren't any feather pillows in the room. Didn't have to mess with checking each pillow to find the foam/poly pillows. Breakfast was the usual hot breakfast hotel fare. I was a bit surprised that there wasn't much for COVID protocol in regard to the breakfast. The gentlemen refilling things were wearing gloves and masks, but otherwise, we didn't really note any Covid-style changes. There weren't any tables marked for non-use. Thankfully the area wasn't packed and we picked a table as separated as we could. Of course, we could have taken it up to our room, too. The hot food was good - eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage, biscuits and gravy and then your cold/room temp fare of pastries, bread, oatmeal packets, and make-your-own waffles. I didn't see any swapping out of serving utensils or anything of that sort, but they did have a hand sanitizer station near the breakfast area that we used prior to eating. The two staff working the breakfast area even brought around fresh food to tables to see if anyone wanted seconds - which I've never seen done before and thought was a nice gesture. Here is really my only real issue, which the hotel may or may not have been able to control - the smell and taste of the tap water. It honestly tastes and smells like lake water. The juice machine in the breakfast area used tap water - so the juice had the lake water flavor, unfortunately. The coffee DID NOT smell or taste like the tap water, which made us happy. I'm guessing it was overpowered by the coffee. You smelled it when you took a shower BUT at least you didn't continue to smell like it after the shower. So, I would suggest that if you are staying at this hotel - bring bottles of water to drink or take medications. Don't drink the juice from the machine at breakfast, and be ready for the smell during showers. Otherwise, overall, we had a pleasant experience and would probably return. I just wish we'd known about the water situation ahead of time so we could plan with more bottled water and avoid the juice. As a side note, we've stayed at the Hampton Inn in this area a couple times and never noticed this strong taste or odor in the tap water. Maybe they treat theirs??
The hotel was clean, rates were reasonable, people very friendly. Moring breakfast was good, consisting of eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, juices, coffee, waffles, yogurt, cereal, milk, etc. The room was nice and everything worked well.
Had to stop overnight in Oklahoma unexpectedly. We chose a random hotel off the highway. What a treat. Staff was amazing and real food for breakfast. Exceptionally clean and welcoming. We will return.
We were at this Best Western for an extended stay for a family funeral. The Staff is absolutely incredible and tended to each and every need. Even knew our names as we went in and out. The hotel is incredibly clean, as were the rooms. Everything was in working order and the breakfasts were the best we have ever had--I think Homemade. We will stay again for sure.
The hotel was clean, sanitized for the conditions present currently. The staff was very friendly and professional. They kept the breakfast area completely clean and the food was good. They have a 24 hour fitness room which is very convenient. I really had a wonderful time there and I will return in the future.
Check in a was fast and the desk clerk was extremely nice and helpful. Room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would stay there again when driving thru. They provide a full breakfast, not just pastries and coffee, and everything was great.
Traveled for business. Arrived late and was greeted by the Friendly staff. This is a VERY nice hotel, looked brand new. Unfortunately, the bar was not open because of the virus. Room was very CLEAN! Will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area!
I have stayed at this hotel for several nights on more than one occasion. I am completely impressed with the staff and the hotel. The breakfast is a full hot breakfast. Every employee is pleasant, always willing to help and attentive to their guests. This hotel is clean and I see employees cleaning on a regular basis to keep all common areas disinfected for guests. I will always choose to stay here when in Ardmore.
Loved the hospitality and how friendly and accommodating Amy and Michelle were. The whirlpool room was awesome and very relaxing!! Room was very clean and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely visit again
We had to stop unexpectedly in Ardmore due to bad weather and we are so glad we chose to stay at the Best Western Plus. The hotel is conveniently located, it's very clean, and the staff were all so nice and helpful! We would definitely stay there if we found ourselves in Ardmore again.
Everything was just what I expected, or better! The hotel was very clean. I was really impressed. I felt safe and that's real important these days with Covid-19. As usual, 4 tempurpedic pillows, clean bedding, comfortable bed, clean tub, a decent TV with a remote that worked. I would definitely stay there again!
We are a group of Shriners that take an annual motorcycle trip. This year we spent our first night at the Best Western in Ardmore. It was most enjoyable. The breakfast buffet rivaled a nice restaurant. Annie really took care of us.
We return to this hotel every time we play golf in the Ardmore area. The staff is awesome and remember us when we return! The rooms are great an the decor is new and nice! The breakfast is also done well!
We chose Best Western Plus based on TA reviews and its location, on Hwy 70W and I35. We booked a king suite with kitchenette, and were in room 220 for a two night stay. Our room was VERY clean, spacious and quiet. We especially liked the coffee maker, microwave and large refrigerator. Breakfast was included, and was a piece of fruit and muffin "to go" because of Covid 19. Staff was very friendly! We will return!
Great experience! I was especially looking for a hotel with good cleaning practices during the pandemic and Best Western Plus was fantastic! The room was spotlessly clean. Hotel staff were friendly, and the room was great - it even had a small kitchenette. Would definitely stay again.
This was our first time at Best Western in Ardmore. We come every year to go to Turner Falls. The staff at the front desk was friendly. However, the manager and his daughter were rude. Our room was only cleaned once during our 3 night stay. Not a fan, and being rude like that will cause me to go elsewhere next year.
Hands down the night manager was the BEST!! Very polite, informative, and Exceeded all my expectations. The cleanliness of this hotel was phenomenal you would have never been able to tell it has been there for 4 years it looks brand new.
Room was dirty. Screw driver in toilet to keep it from running. Removed it and the toilet ran all night. The room smelt like mildew and the towels were covered in hair. I definitely regret spending my hard earned money here.
I enjoy this Best Western and have become a member for further stays at other Best Western. I like the price per stay and will continue to use them. Understand with pandemic, food is very minimal but good.
Everything was lovely at hotel. Full breakfast and everyone was extremely nice. The room was great and southern hospitality was very evident. They made a big deal about points and snacks since we were platinum members.
Hotel is very close ti I35 freeway. There are restaurants nearby, but were restricted to takeout due to COVID-19. There was a basic breakfast that met our needs. The hotel was clean. We will stay here again in the future
We were just passing through Ardmore and I had booked the Best Western for 1 night, but I wished we had longer! Best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. Great coffee and everything you could possibly want food-wise, all laid out thoughtfully. The lobby was clean and inviting. Rooms were clean and new. 4 pillows per bed (what?!!) Nice smelling soap and shampoo. The whole hotel was so thoughtfully planned, it made traveling convenient. Didn't get a chance to use the amenities of pool or fitness center.
This hotel was comfortable and very clean. The staff went out of their way to make it special. We played cribbage in the bar for several hours and had a great night's sleep. The next morning we had a breakfast that was better than any we had had on the road for 2 weeks. The potatoes, eggs, biscuits and coffee were like you cooked them at home. Excellent job by the food service staff.
I've stayed at many Best Westerns over the past few years. All very good experiences. two of my favorites were Best Western Plus in OK City and Best Western Plus in Ardmore, OK. Convenience, location, friendly staff and great breakfast. Reasonable prices.
I had a Free Night Voucher that needed to be redeemed so I was able to travel to Ardmore, OK for a Business Trip. Upon arrival the Hotel looked nice, plenty of parking and plenty of Restaurants nearby. The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was good and area had plenty of seating. Overall an excellent Hotel to stay at.
We reserved a room with a suite as we were meeting up with family members and sought a private area to converse. It worked wonderfully well. Nice hot drinks available at checkin, evening cookies and a breakfast buffet. Easy access off the interstate. Limited gym facility. A great gathering place in the lobby to converse. Super clean which wins me over above everything else.
Two Tesla destination chargers, a great shower, comfy king bed, a well-maintained facility and room, an on-site bar, good breakfast, friendly staff, and very easy access to I35. I definitely recommend this hotel.
A man who called himself Reverend Fields actually told me if he “was 6'8” and 300 pounds he would jump and claw across the desk and grab me “... what else he said I stopped him and asked him if he was threatening me. He was very angry and patronizing because I asked him in a simply joking manor at 5:55 am if they are holding the breakfast hostage until exactly 6 am. He was very threatening in his tone and continued on with sarcastic comments. I have two days left to stay there and I am scared out of my mind. I will be transferring hotels. The look in this mans eyes were like he wanted to hurt me. I had to go to work but I will be making a police report.
The hotel was clean and safe. The beds were not hard, the pullout couch bed was ok but not very thick, the daytime clerk was very harmful and friendly, Debbie I think. It was a nice hotel we'd stay there again.
I really enjoyed my stay here! The room was much nicer than other best westerns I've stayed at. The lobby area was very nice and the bar area just added to my satisfaction. Will stay again here again.
It was a greatest stay love the king size bed and so clean. Keeps me close to family members who live near by. Hope to stay again next time I'm in town. Hope to use the pool next time I'm there. Very nice stay.
I wasn't looking for the Best Western on this particular stop but after the night I will definitely be searching for one on my next stop. The friendly service and comfortable bed and room made for a good nights sleep! Thank you BW!!
One of the Best Hotels I have stayed at this year, including all other Best Westerns. I try to stay at Best Westerns when I travel because of the overall satisfaction with the chain. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Ardmore area. The staff were some of the best anywhere. Thanks for a pleaant stay.
Stopped for an overnight stay. Nice hotel, clean, beds were firm and there were several choices on breakfast bar. Easy to find and reach. Would stay again. Night check in staff also did the breakfast bar in the morning. Hard working staff
Very nice hotel and people were very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again on our trip from Nebraska to Texas. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. Easy to get in and out of and the convient store next door was very helpful
Five of us stopped here on our way from North Dakota to Texas. A very nice, updated hotel. Only one person working for check in and check out and that person had to bartend and maintain the breakfast buffet, which they did very well and were very pleasant while doing it. Easy to find and a great place to stay, would certainly stay again if passing through.
the breakfast was fantastic, one of the best I've had at a hotel. the bed matress wast very firm, we happen to like ours softer, but there were also plenty of pillows to easily sit up and read or watch television. outside of the very firm mattress it was a very nice place to stay
Everything was great, very clean, helpful staff, good breakfast. I liked that the tv had a guide so I didn't have to search every channel to find the program I wanted to watch. We have stayed in a lot of hotels this year and this one was the best.
Everything was very neat and clean. Price was right. Only problem experienced was that the Gideon Bible was missing. Bathroom arrangement was very good. Best Westerns are one of our favorites when we do travel.
The hotel is new and the room is comfortable and well appointed. I had a microwave and refrigerator in my room. The bed and linens were super comfy. They have a bar in the lobby. The lady working the bar on the evening of Sept 28th 2019 is an excellent bartender as well as being a delightful person to converse with. Keep and promote her and sadly I do not recall her name.
We met my in-laws here to pick up some items that my wife had requested and to deliver an item to my father-in-law. Now that the back story of the reason we stayed here has been told, we come to the review. The staff were some of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. My M-I-L is just a little particular about the kind of room she stays in so the fact that she was satisfied is worth eight stars all by itself. The rooms were comfortable and very reasonably priced, which is one of my favorite things, as I am so tight I squeak when I walk.
First of all, customer service with Naz was top notch! After arriving late in a town that had most hotel stays booked up this weekend, Naz was very helpful. Stay was amazing! Hotel was very clean, modern, comfortable and smelled great! Great offerings and amenities - breakfast and bar also! Comfortable bed and pillows! I can only rave about my stay!
All of the hotel employees were very kind and extremely helpful. At the breakfast service they had eggs with peppers and cheese in them but my husband doesn't eat cheese, so the breakfast worker made him fresh scrambled eggs without cheese. She was so helpful and kind. We took advantage of the pool and gym with there and everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay.
The front desk staff were great. The hotel looks new, inside and out - clean, welcoming lighting, awesome/attractive lobby & bar area with TVs, & big, really nice breakfast area with plenty of seating & a lot of delicious choices; and my room & bathroom were perfect. I loved the style, cleanliness, comfortable bed, good fridge, microwave, new bright shower. I will stay there again.
From the moment I arrived and til I left, the staff treated me like royalty! Waited til the last day to check out the breakfast, big mistake...Fresh eggs, homemade fried potatoes all served with a smile. You will not be disappointed if you stay here in Ardmore!!
Everything was Sooo Comfortable!! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud!! The Clean room was Excellent! Didn't want to leave!! Didn't like room service waking YOU up before 9 A M knocking at the door!! The Microwave was tooo High to reach! When taking down a Cappuccino heated up Spilt on me a little! Good thing Didn't pour ALL of it on me!! And wasn't too hot either!!
The bed was so comfortable and it was so quiet on the 3rd floor. Just great relaxation. I stayed there with my 18 year old daughter and we both felt refreshed the next day. We had stayed at Lake Murray the weekend before and got zero sleep because of kids running up and down the halls screaming. This was a delightful experience after that crazy one!
We had stayed in a hotel nearby with a decent rating and almost the same price. Best Western blew them out of the water, and for only a few bucks more. Annie at the front desk was so nice and great to talk to. She works really hard at making sure your stay is perfect. We actually got a chance to give the room a sniff test before we booked it. The last hotel we stayed at smelled like they had a pest treatment. Best Western felt like being in a new car. Annie even made sure that we got a replacement TV before we returned to our room after a long day swimming. The room smelled so clean and so where the bed sheets. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was A++ also. It had food up until and after the 9 o clock time. No need to ask for more items. The potatoes were delicious. I have stayed in several hotels with my family over the years and I have to say this has definitely been the best experience. Highly recommend and will definitely visit OK again to stay in this hotel.
I have not been so comfortable in a hotel room in a very long time. I want to go back....IMMEDIATELY, and stay again. Room was clean, tastefully appointed, cool with the a/c already running. Bed was very comfortable with a pillowtop mattress and many pillows. Bedding smelled fresh and was plentiful enough to snuggle in. Bathroom towels were actually soft. No highway noise could be heard. Staff was friendly and approachable. The snacks in the little pantry in the lobby were reasonably priced, to my pleased surprise. The only downside was the breakfast scrambled eggs. Jalapenos had been added, so they were entirely too spicy for my taste. Overall excellent experience.
A really good value, room was fresh and nicely appointed. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Waffles were also available. The only issue was with trying to get the bathroom lights to work. They were tied to the switch at the door, and the BR lights did not work until the switch was flipped. This required trial and error almost to the point of asking for another room. A weird way to set up a room. They need to post a notice of some type about this.
Me an wife enjoy coming to ardmore, the stay wasn't as good as the last time we were at best Western, hallways need shampoo an the exhaust fan didn't work in our room, the noise from room above us was horrible couldn't sleep, next time we will get a room on top floor whatever hotel we stay at
So it was 11pm and we needed to find a room to crash for the night because we were tired and going through Ardmore late at night and needed a place to sleep. I called a few local hotels and no one had a two bed room available until we called Best Western. We booked the room with 2 queens (4 people, 2 adults, 2 young kids). So the property is very nice. Nice rooms but most importantly was how comfortable the beds were. We stay in hotels fairly often and the beds at this hotel are among the most comfortable we have had. Didn't get a chance to catch breakfast in the morning as they stopped serving at 9am. But the room and property were excellent. Would be the first choice next time I'm in Ardmore. No major complaints at all. There is also an on site bar if that's your thing, but I didn't visit it. Pool and exercise room also on site. Only advice to management is to extend breakfast to at least 10am. Also parking is an issue. I know the hotel was quite full but we had a lot of trouble finding parking. There were 5 big trucks (semis and RVs) in the parking lot and they each took up multiple parking spots leaving us having to find parking off site. The semis were occupying 6+ spots.
Broken jets in jacuzzi. Too much furniture in room. Hard beds. Not enough parking spots. No clerk at check in or check out had to find them. Average price hotel average overall. Convient for area.would stay again.
We have been to about 10 different Best Western locations over the past 2 years. With the exception of the Ardmore location the breakfast is always the same. Pretty much on the bland side with the eggs and potatoes when available. This was our 3rd stay at the Ardmore location in the past 6 months. Kim has been the kitchen prep person the whole time. At our first stay there we noticed that Kim took extra care and steps to make breakfast enjoyable by adding flavor to the eggs and potatoes. It may seem small to her but it's really a big thing to us to know that someone cares enough about their guest and goes the extra mile to make them feel at home. WAY TO GO KIM!!!!!!!!!
When entering the property the first thing I noticed was how clean and well kept it is. Our guest service lady was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. She told us where the room was located and other important things. She took the time to recommend a wonderful restaurant for dinner. The room was fresh and clean. The beds were comfortable and I slept so well.
Clean rooms, friendly staff and good location. Newer hotel with modern decor. Laundry room available and breakfast too. Only complaint was the bed was not very comfortable and it made a lot of noise when you would roll over .
We got to the hotel July 6, 2019 at about 1am. Check in went great, Neysa was very nice and things seemed to be going good. We got up to our room, walked in and it looked like someone was staying in there. The bed wasn't made, strawberries on the counter and towels everywhere. So downstairs we go. There were no more rooms but she offered to clean ours. The hotel itself is pretty but it wasn't worth what I paid, especially when we got a dirty room
This was a wonderful hotel room, It was spacious, clean and had a proper bathroom with a ADA compliant roll under vanity. There was a small cocktail lounge on the first floor. The breakfast the next morning had a nice variety of choices, which were actually hot, unlike many other hotels where the food is lukewarm at best, My only complaint about this room is the bed location was close to the wall, on the side where I need to transfer my wife onto the bed, I am used to this, so I always try to move the bed over a few inches, but was unable to do so, The bed location and tall mattress are a common problem for us at many hotels across all brands , so I don't want to single out this hotel.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel is one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. It's very quiet even though it's on a busy 4 lane and right down from Interstate 35. The staff are very friendly, informative and gracious. The breakfast bar was outstanding. Lots of choices, everything fresh and hot, plenty to eat. The hotel even has a small bar in the comfy, spacious lobby. There is an indoor pool and fitness center, too. I will most definitely stay here again when I come to Ardmore. A great hotel with great staff!!
I'm extremely picky about hotels. To a fault, a hotel snob, and we were very impressed with the staff, atmosphere, cleanliness, location and comfort. The hotel is only 3 yrs old, and still looks (and smells) like brand new construction. Having a bar in the lobby was a nice convenience too. If you stay here, at some point, you MUST try Two Frogs restaurant next door. Outstanding atmosphere and the food is awesome!!
Room looked like it was the employee lounge...bed pillows and covers were all rumpled and unmade, Used soap in bathroom and lotion all over counter, half stand slurpee in the refrigerator. Called management 3 times to discuss and they will not call back. Charged $160 per night for a dirty room that normally runs $84 per night. Staff very friendly..... there is no manager on property nor any way to contact them.
We stay at BW all the time and this was our stay at this property. The property is quite new, very clean, and the staff is very professional. They have a cocktail lounge and the Very Best Breakfast we have ever encountered. This hotel is top of the line.
Stayed for over a week and had a great time. The Staff was great. The breakfast was awesome. The location was close to everything. The internet at times was very slow but that's ok and I understand. I loved the cookies they had at night. The bar was a nice added touch.
Great hotel. Smells clean and fresh. Beautiful decor. Staff very accommodating. Best breakfast ever. Wonderful pool and fitness center. I would recommend to anyone and plan to stay anytime I visit my daughter, grandchildren and great granddaughter. They all loved pool and breakfast.
As all the best westerns I have stayed at, it is clean and comfortable. What makes this BW different was the customer service...top notch specifically Annie at the front desk who went above and beyond to assist us. Also the night clerk Samuel was a delight to chat with. Highly reccomend!
Chose this because of the indoor swimming pool as my granddaughter insists on swimming when we stay at hotels. Pleasantly surprised by the bar in the lobby even thawed didn't partake this stay. Room was fresh, new and clean as well as comfortable and spacious.
We arrived during very tired during a rainstorm, and were greeted by a friendly and very efficient check-in clerk. Even though, the hotel was almost fully booked by some baseball teams, it was quiet and kept very clean. The hotel had a very classy and appealing decor in the room, as well as in the common areas. The breakfast buffet was by far the best I have experienced at any Best Western hotel so far. We had a very pleasant stay, and will definitely be staying there again during out travels through that area..
We were headed home from the Rio Grande to Canada, and stopped here for the night. The hotel is close to the freeway, gas stations, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Everything was in good working order. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was adequate and allowed us to quickly get on the road in the morning. We will stay here again in the future and would recommend this hotel to others.
Our room was amazing! Had a small kitchenette! Very clean! The girls loved the chocolate chip cookies & the breakfast was fresh hot with a lot of options! We picked this hotel for heated pool & it was pretty cold for an indoor heated pool really should be warmer. Other then that we enjoyed our stay!
Newer property. Very clean in all areas. Check in and out was quick and easy. The room was clean and spacious. Comfy bed and good blackout curtains. Had a TV, fridge, microwave and in room coffee maker. Breakfast was just fair.
My husband and I, stayed here overnight on route to a different vacation location. The hotel is clean and easily accessible from the highway. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area again.
Beautiful hotel, our room was amazing, we had a whirlpool tub in the room that was perfect after driving 11 hours that day! They have a very nice bar area, which we did enjoy a drink, and the breakfast as always at a Best Western was fantastic! The lady working the desk when we checked in was very nice and friendly
Hotel was great. Great breakfast available for 4 hours in the morning. We were traveling as party of 8 and had 3 rooms. We all thought it was a great experience. We didn't go to pool, however room was right across. It was very clean.
Very clean property. In the morning the elevator button to the 3rd floor was broken. It was reported to staff and they were on it! It didnt get fixed in the next hour however they were working on it. It was inconvenient but they were doing their due diligence. I will stay again!!!!!!!
Stayed one night & we enjoyed the pool & the breakfast..we didn't sleep well because of people stomping upstairs & doors slamming at all hours but I know that's not the hotels fault so I would stay again
Overall very clean and friendly staff. The staff at this motel has various duties and handled them all very well. Asked for more towels and an extra blanket with no issues or problems. Very nice suite and accommodated 3 persons well.
Check in was fast and easy, Front desk staff, Kimberly was friendly and welcoming. BUilding was clean and inviting. Room was excellently cleaned and maintained, no noise from inside or outside. Bed was very comfortable like brand new, pillows were just right. Hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and toast available as well as variety of cereal and fruit. Four different juices, and waffles. Will definitely stay again when I visit Ardmore.
We stayed here on our way from Missouri to San Antonio. The hotel was reasonably priced, has excellent staff, and the rooms were very nice. Breakfast was included which saves time when traveling. We liked it so much we stayed there on our way back from our trip.
We always stay at Best Western Plus in Ardmore when we travel to San Antonio. We arrive late, so it's nice to know you'll be arriving at a clean well-run hotel with a good breakfast to start our next day of travel.
We were passing through & wanted to stay in this area. I chose this hotel because it was moderate price. I booked through hotels.com, mainly because I had a free night to use. When I arrived I asked to confirm if it was all paid & the amount, so I could make sure it was handled properly. The person at desk gave me vague answers & told me to check with who I used to book the room. So I called hotels.com to get all the info, then spoke to the person at desk..............then she said yes, to everything I had already asked about & could not confirm. The room was ok. The breakfast was good. When I went o check out, nobody was at the desk. After waiting 5 minutes, I just left my key card on the desk.
Stayed here for a golf tournament. It felt like there was one staff person doing all the work. She was fabulous to check us in. Then she looked like she was working overtime mopping the floors and keeping the elevator clean. She made sure our stay was very welcoming. The room was decent and hotel was close to the highway. The breakfast was nothing to speak of. The walls were thin. I have a Best Western Rewards card. However, I chose to stay at a different hotel when I came back to Ardmore 3 weeks later.
This is a relatively new BW and definitely has the latest updates. Our check in was quick and easy, as was the departure. Our room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was good sized and also very clean. There is an indoor pool that is clean and well stocked with towels. The bar/lounge area had very comfortable seating with chairs and couches and was a great place to just sit and unwind. Breakfast was excellent. Most of all, the rates were extremely reasonable! We will definitely stay again.
We travel by motorcycle, the staff was very warm and accommodating. It was getting ready to thunderstorm, they allowed us to park under the mezzanine. Super clean great service! And the amenities are awesome!
Another great Best western with a great bed! Always enjoy the suites so I can kick back and put my feet up for a while. The front desk young lady (Lindsey) was friendly and helpful and recommended a great place to eat!
My family made a quick trip into Ardmore for business. This hotel was reasonably priced, and very nice! Rooms were nice and big, rooms were clean. Kids enjoyed the pool! Would definitely stay again in in the area.
This was an excellent stay! Great free breakfast with lots of selection (make your own waffles with several choices of toppings), fried eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, 3 choices of dry cereal, 3 types of yogurt, and fresh fruit! They also provide a free deodorant or toothpaste at the counter, should you need it. Pool was clean and looked extremely clean. Staff was always friendly and smiling.
This was such a nice hotel. Very new, modern & clean. It even smelt good. Most hotels with an indoor pool just smell like chlorine. This was did not at all. They put us in a handicap room, which we did not need, so it wasn't ideal but it was still OK and it was nice room. The bed was so comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good and they had great coffee too! I was very impressed.
This hotel is quite a good value. Rooms are new, beds are comfortable and everything was fine. Only feedback on the bed is that it is tall, so those of us that are shorter (5'2”) need a stool! The Breakfast was good with an attendant keeping it all replenished and clean.
Hotel was very nice and clean. Smelled good when you walked into the room. Breakfast was good. Fried eggs first morning and scrambled the next. Location was good. Not far from I-35. Would recommend. Not far from Turner Falls, Chickasaw and cultural center.
The room is very nice, clean and comfortable. Nice indoor pool that the grand kids enjoyed while we were there. The breakfast was good and usually good choices each morning. The staff is very friendly and provide excellent service
The room was comfortable and clean the bed was stiff and all the amenities were available. Breakfast was average and the staff was okay. There is no view of anything and they do seem to be a bit overpriced but not a bad experience.
Overall the experience at this Best Western was fine. We had a room with a king-size bed and a jacuzzi tub. Everything worked well in the room. The complimentary breakfast had hot and cold options along with some fresh fruit (apples and bananas). The bacon and biscuits I ate were hot and the workers were keeping everything well-stocked. The only drawback to our stay was that our room looked out over a parking lot and the security lighting kept the room from getting dark. Although there was a short white curtain that blocked the view in (or at least we hope it did!), the heavy drapes which would have blocked out the exterior light at night and the early morning sun were not made to close as then they would have blocked the air conditioner. A shade that can be pulled down would be a nice addition.
Once we finally got checked in after a slight hiccup from hotels.com where I booked the room we got settled in. The lady working the front desk that night 6-15-18 (cant remember her name) was awesome and very helpful. Thankful we brought our own pillows, not sure why hotels think those pillows they provide are comfortable and the bed was uncomfortable. The whole design of the bathroom was odd, taking a shower water got all over the floor. Turning on the shower made the smoke alarm go off. Just floors me how people at a hotel think they can make a pig sty of the breakfast area just because they are guests there. Yes the hotel will clean the messes up but geez use come common courtesy for the people working there when staying at the hotel. Cereal all over the floor from kids who's parents obviously were not watching them. Get back to our room after breakfast and I plug my curling iron into the outlet and guess what- smoke alarm went off again. I have had better stays at hotels and booked this one based on reviews. Don't think I am being too picky. Was our anniversary weekend and stopped in here for the night on our way to Oklahoma City.
Only issue is this BW is a tad overpriced, and it is a no view, as in my room looked directly onto a car wash. Aside from that, it is an excellent hotel. My room was very nice, everything clean and comfortable. The staff was great, check-in and check-out quick and efficient. Definitely recommend.
Checked in at 2:00 AM due to driving home from a business trip in Houston, TX and just couldn't drive the three more hours to my home. Two other hotels were full (LQ and ?) and so thankful they were because I would have missed out on this awesome hotel! First off, loved the late check-out since arrival time was so late. Super clean and very quiet and was able to get a wonderful nights rest! I am looking at traveling to Ardmore tomorrow just to see what the town has to offer and checked rates and just realized the rate given to me at 2:00 AM for an impromptu stay was less then all rates offered on the Best Western website and for that, I am truly thankful. I missed out on breakfast because I chose to sleep in but I'm sure it would have been just as awesome as the hotel. Thank you for giving me a safe, quiet and clean hotel to rest before heading home! I will see you tomorrow, 6/9/18!
This hotel is either new or freshly updated. The room was great and had fast wifi. We had laundry to take care of and the laundry facility was very nice and reasonably priced. We would stay here again if in the area.
The facility was just off the highway, easy to get to and located in a nice area. The room was nice and we had a place to park our antique car that we felt save leaving it overnight. The breakfast was very nice and added to the value of the price to stay.
We recently had a team baseball event in Ardmore and chose to stay at the Best Western. It was very clean and nice. The updates were great! Breakfast was yummy and high speed internet was great. Also in a great location and close to lots. Will definitely stay here again
Our two rooms on the second floor (a Queen Suite and a King with Kitchenette) were both nice. Big 50" (or so) TV and beds were comfortable. Best part (for me) was the incredible shower pressure and shower had placed at a reasonable height so a 6'2'' person won't have to duck to take a shower. I loved it! Too many hotels these days are trying to "save" water by cutting the pressure, but that just causes people to take longer showers. This was a nice change! The included breakfast wasn't bad, and they had a mini-pancake making machine which spit out two dollar pancakes within just 30 seconds or so, as well as a waffle machine, bagels, toast, muffins etc. Eggs and bacon were "so-so", and the plastic utensils were kinda cheap but they did the job. Nice of them to offer breakfast though, as some people don't want to go out for food/coffee right after they awaken. Plenty of very good eating options near the hotel and downtown. "Two Frogs" is a short walk and is very good with a great atmosphere. Fellow Tripadvisor member cindywho24 reviewed this restaurant recently and stated in part of her review that "A musician or a lover of bands and music must own this place. It was filled with autographed memorabilia like guitars, posters, etc. a stage is set up and ready to go for live music. The walls are a rich colored red with dim lighting." Couldn't have said it better myself! The hotel is fairly new, doesn't allow pets yet, and has a bar downstairs that while very basic, is functional and not too expensive (the front desk clerk was also our bartender so apparently the bar is open but no full-time bartender). The "pours" were good! Appreciated that. I would stay here again while in Ardmore.
This hotel was really nice, breakfast great and the beds were super comfortable. It was a little out of my price range but it was late so I just took it. While I may not stay again because of price, I had an excellent stay here.
Rock Chalk Jayhawk! Time for a break! We found this Best Western at our half way point to San Antonio, Texas. What a lovely facility. Very modern, new, clean and comfy. Friendly service as well. Many restaurants a short distance away.
This property is beautiful, the employees are friendly and helpful, but if breakfast is your thing, theirs is pretty mediocre. I am a big fan of the Best Western properties, and this was very nice. I will stay here again if the need arises, but might pass on the breakfast. I don't stay at hotels for that. Many are just lip service to the requirements of the chain
This hotel is fairly new so the the front decor and updated rooms were very nice. The big vanity in the bathroom and comfortable bed made our stay acceptable. Fitness center well equipped with free weights to use.
I am always happy to see a BW in the area I need to stay. This one was no exception. Cute modern lobby and the room was much bigger than I expected. Updated modern bathroom with lots of counter space and the bed was so comfy I slept great! Right off the highway and easy to get too, weren't a whole.lot of eating establishments around and the ones that were were note open when I got there at 10 pm but breakfast was yummy in the hotel. Coffee out front was actually.good too.. Best Western is continuously great at least in my experience regardless of what state I'm visiting
I thought this was a new hotel when I checked in. That is the way it looks, so I was surprised to learn it is 4-5 years old. It looks new. Good place to stay. Comfortable beds and comfortable room. Easy to get to off of I-35. Some restaurants near this property.
Absolutely no complaints. Everything was great and above expectations. The customer service was great. I booked through Hotel.com seconds before entering and they had my booking the second I walked in.
An AWESOME hotel stay with large rooms, extra pillows and towels and a variety of breakfast items. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is 25 minutes to the Winstar Casino and the Two Frogs Restaurant next door served delicious food in an eclectic music atmosphere. We will definitely stay here again!
Last night when we checked in we were greeted by a wonderful night desk clerk by the name of Vivic. He was so sweet and very helpful. We'd highly recommend staying here. Very clean and comfortable! Breakfast area was also kept very clean and stocked.
Nice quiet area to get some rest. Upon the late arrival, the staff member on duty immediately stated that we would receive a discounted rate. The price for the room was well worth the money spent. I will stay here again if needed. Thank you Best Western!
Wonderful new look! I like the way BW is now branding itself. The breakfast, bed, look of room are all nicely done and have come a long ways. Staff were super friendly. You can'y go wrong with staying here---and reasonably priced.
The hotel was very helpful. Staff was friendly and the two rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was great, lots of choices. The beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed the pool. The kids were so excited. The pool was clean and spacious. Thank you for a another great stay!
Great location and professional staff. Comfortable beds, large TV and high speed internet. Will stay at this location if the opportunity presents itself in the future. Rolled in early in the morning and was dog tired. Check in process was a breeze and check out was easier.
I have an excelent service and treat counter sales have big care about clients and very helpful I 100% recomend the stay on this great hotel make me feel tranquile and relax on my trip hope I can stop back soon
It's become our home away from home, and the kids love the breakfast and indoor pool! The last couple of visits have been the best along with earning reward points towards a free night! I made sure to let staff know we'd see them at Christmas!
I had my 2 teen boys for a combo business and family trip. Staff was so kind to the boys and very agreeable to them staying for an additional hour past checkout while I worked. The location was very convenient and the price was perfect. Value of the stay far exceeded the price.
we were rewarded this room with our points collection. Great use of points... no issues at check in or check out... folks were professional and courteous. If we had any questions they were answered quickly. Love the look of the building.. lit up nicely and grounds were well kept. Room was awesome.. comfortable. This is why we have the points to use... because we love the best western chains and use them often during our travels
We were very satisfied with our Stay at the BWPlus in Ardmore. We make frequent trips to San Antonio and Ardmore is the halfway point. When checking in tired at 10:30 pm we just need predictable/reliable cleanliness and comfort, and a quick bite before we hit the road in the morning. This hotel provides all that plus. We'll be back.
Very nice hotel with superb staff. Plenty of places to eat nearby. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great nights sleep. There rooms are very comfortable and modern with everything you would expect from a Best Western.
Good value and nice construction Hotel is beautiful inside and out. Rooms are large and very accommodating. Would stay again - good value for that area. Our google map got us close, but directions were not perfect.
We have learned to expect the best service, good food, and friendly staff when staying at any Best Western Hotel in the USA. This one also met all our expectations. We are pleased to recommend this location.
Sammy at the desk was great. We were in town for the HOG Rally. Rooms were nice, clean, housekeeping did a great job. Free breakfast was very good lots of options. Staff was friendly and always helpful (Sammy) I just can't say enough good things about.
Overall pretty good. Beds and linen could use updating compared to other Best Westerns. Bath mats need to be provide due to tubs being very slippery. Failed to acknowledge Best Western Reward members and offer water, etc.
really enjoyed the extra length and amenities of the Ardmore facility when compared to that in Grove and other best western locations . The addition of the sink and mirror into the bathing area is a plus and well over due.
We made reservations at this Beat Western as it was only about 50 miles across the Texas state line and a nice stopping point heading to Nebraska. It has either been recently renovated or its new. Either way, the hotel was wonderful! Beautiful and clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stopped and stayed yet again in our way back. That's how much we liked the hotel! Would definitely stay again.
We arrived late from a long group trip and the staff was super nice and even recommended a restaurant which was fabulous. The price per room was fantastic. We as a group would recommend this hotel highly.
Last minute deals are amazingly cheap for such a nice motel. Great rooms, breakfast, bar and restaurant, pool, etc. full service motel for bargain price. Easy to get to, good parking, exceptionally easy check-in/out.
We specifically looked for a Best Western to stay for a Labor Day mini-vacation for our family. We were given Room 214 with double queen beds. We paid $286.26 for a three night stay over Labor Day weekend at an early non-refundable stay rate. The Good: • Location is right-off of I-35 and has a number of places to choose to eat nearby. • We felt no concerns about our personal security and felt comfortable walking. • Parking lot was well-lit and the exterior is kept nice. • Newer Best Western property, but seems to have been built on the cheap versus other newer Best Westerns that I have stayed. • The room was clean and well-maintained, except for the scale on the shower head. • Aside from running out of milk, the lady working the breakfast did a decent job in keeping breakfast items stocked. • Sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy were in the breakfast offering. • Gluten-free Chex was available, as well as yogurt, fruit, etc. for those that cannot have gluten. • The room was made-up nicely each day. The bed and pillows were comfortable (which I struggle to find at any hotel). • The TV, microwave, refrigerator, and anything else that you could use, all functioned properly. • The fitness center is better that some Best Westerns. In particular, a rack of dumb bells is available. The fitness center was stocked with towels each time I used the facility. The Bad: • Swimming pool is very small and was not heated. Whoever designed the swimming pool area did a poor job. The signed stated capacity for 28 people, but I bet those 28 people better be well-acquainted. • Running out of milk at 8:30 AM during breakfast on Labor Day. • Breakfast area was too crowded for us to have a place to sit on 2 of the 3 days. • Location of the waffle and pancake grills in the middle of the breakfast bar. Poor design – backs-up the breakfast line. Those should be moved to the end of the counter. Better yet, add a counter that is dedicated to those items. • There should have been two people working the breakfast over Labor Day weekend. The lady doing the breakfast service was working her tail off and really needed help to service the guests properly. • No additional shampoo/conditioner was left in the room during our stay. I like to use the shampoo and conditioner so that I do not have to pack it for trips. I had come to rely on Best Westerns for this, but now I guess I know better. • Slowest elevator I have encountered at a Best Western. Again, the cheap feel of the construction of the property, overall. • I never had the feel that anyone was in charge at the property. I know that falls to the front desk, but the feel was just not there. The Ugly: • The scale on the shower head is the sort of neglect that can lead to Legionella. • Room 214 is a terrible room with regard to noise. The first morning, we were awakened by loud conversation that originated from front desk shift change prior to 7 AM. That night, then at 5 AM the next morning, it sounded like Native-American stomp dancing above us. I informed the front desk of both of these incidents. The final morning, the stomp dancing waited to start at 6 AM. We did not get a lot of rest during our stay. • Room 214 is across from the elevator. We were awakened many times from people pushing the elevator button, having conversations, etc. Room 214 is terrible with respect to noise from the elevator. • Paper-thin walls seem to be the design for this property. When not awakened by the stomp dancing, or the elevator, or the loud desk clerks in the lobby, we were awakened by the numerous times that people were loud up and down the hallway. Children running, adults running, loud conversations at 2 AM. I have stayed in many Best Westerns across this land and this property seems to be the worst for noise. We ran the fan on the air conditioner constantly to try and mask noise. TIPS: • Insist on a room away from the elevator and the lobby, if you do not wish to be awakened before sunrise. • Be prepared for the physiological reactions to cold water if you choose to use the swimming pool. Guys, you should skip the Speedos and ladies might wish to swim with a dark-colored shirt. • Place the fan to the “ON” position to mask noise from the hall. • We ate at Two Frogs (about 300 feet to the west of the hotel) and enjoyed the food. • Valero gas station is next door. It is also a convenience store and is a place to get snacks and drinks. FORM LETTER REPLY from Ardmore Best Western : "Thank you for completing the survey regarding your recent stay at our property. Front desk was very inattentive and disinterested. Quoted a higher than average rate due to a concert. Was lowered after rewards number entered and then raised back to the original price of $150. Sticker shock for south central Oklahoma. Your BW loyalty doesn't matter for this location.
We booked here because the casino in the next town was sold out for the concert we were attending. Very clean and new looking! Front desk was friendly and our room had a kitchenette in it. One of the nicer Best Westerns we have stayed in. Will return if we can't book at casino for our stays.
Loved the experience at the Best Western Plus in Ardmore OK. The lobby was very inviting. Hotel staff were friendly. The location was easy to find and close to restaurants and shopping. Would stay here on our next visit.
This is a fantastic Hotel, Decor is very modern and as a man i was kinda digging it, The noise levels were great, nice and quiet facility. Breakfast was fantastic, well stocked and was constantly monitored. Check in/out was a snap. There is a gas station right next door you can just walk to if you needed something but didn't want to drive around. They have a small area in the lobby with snacks and sodas available for purchase 24/7, Appliances were Up to date and functioned well. The entire facility was very clean and parking was pleasant. It has indoor pool and a fitness room (All Equipment works and Works well) Really if i had to make a complaint the only one i had was that this facility did not have a Hot Tub, Aside from that it was great!
Another great stay at a Best Western...this time we stayed at the Best Western in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Tucked right off of I35, easy access was the name of the game. We were tired and wanted a hot bath and a comfortable bed....this place delivered. I could have spent days in this bed. The rooms were top-notch. Our group all had wonderful comfy beds with great linens and pillows. Can't say enough...the staff was fabulous. If you're ever in Ardmore...stop by the BEST WESTERN!
These was a great place it was clean the people were very helpful the room was comfortable the pool was excellent the parking lot was well lit up at nite overall I would give this hotel a top 10 place to stay!
We were in town for a Cody Jinks concert. This was close to the venue and I am glad we chose it. The young lady that welcomed us at check in was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is appearantly fairly new construction. The lobby and lounge area were very clean and well kept. Not sure if the sheets had been recently changed, or if the maid just had really long hair. Very pleasant experience. I would stay here again.
The hotel was very new inside and beds were great, all amenities were in good shape and well handled. The front counter girl named Casey or Kasey was Excellent she informed us of all hotel information and went into tourist information mode later when approached discussing the local cuisine and things to do, she is Awesome!
Weekend road trip with the family. New hotel for $83.00 before taxes not bad. Room was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast wad good what else could your ask for..... so wet stayed an extra night.... we will be back!!!
Our company has stayed at this hotel on several different occasions and I can say that this is one of the best hotels. First the front desk specialists are very kind and helpful, the rooms are very clean, beds are very comfortable. The pool was very relaxing and also very clean. The breakfast is one of the best out of any hotel that we have stayed at. The ladies clean the rooms everyday and provide you with fresh clean towels. Normally at other hotels you have to beg them for clean towels..This hotel is why I now stay at other Best Western Locations..
Stayed here on July 15th loved it. Traveling to , checked in at 9:30 pm. Called ahead and reserved and gave me the Best Western rewards elite discount and got a handicapped accessible double queen suite. Brand new hotel only 1 year old , beautiful decor in lobby and bar. The room was great loved the decor. The accessible bathroom was great , lots of grab bars in shower and around the toilet. Perfect I would definitely stay here again.
This is our first stay at this Best Western although we have stayed at many Best Western Hotels over the years. The new Best Western Plus is a definite upgrade from the past. We did not find one reason to complain about anything. Could not have been more satisfied.
We spent one night here, while passing through town, and I wish that we were here longer. This is a lovely modern hotel with nice decor, clean (spotless) and comfortable rooms, and a friendly, professional staff. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, the best of the Best Westerns at which I have stayed (many). Do yourself a favor and stay here; you will be glad that you did.
If you love breakfast like we do, this is the place to stay! Kitchenette rooms not worth it if you don't plan on bringing your own cookwear. We mostly got it because of the large fridge since we were going to multiple lakes. The beds were awesome, AC was working great. Friendly staff. Pool is small, sorry kids.
This is a favorite place of mine to stay. Only one year old so everything is fresh. Much attention to detail....everything I needed for a wonderful stay! The only drawback for me was the hardness of the bed---not enough cushion for these old joints!
This property was clean, bright, and colorful. The staff was cheerful, friendly and professional. The requested room was just perfect. I am a retired corporate trainer who used to travel a great deal. Best Western Plus in Ardmore is the best value I have found. Much better experience than many more expensive and well known national chains.
I was pleased with our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. I Was a little dissapointed with the bar though, as it was very small and we didn't see a bartender anywhere around. Close to several restaurants and a gas station. I would definitely stay here again
Appears to be a fairly new hotel, about a year old. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had pretty good selection - eggs, waffles, sausage, bacon, fruit, cereal, pastries, biscuits, etc. Will stay there again next time we are in area
The room was fresh and clean. Staff was welcoming and very helpful. Will definitely stay the next time we travel through Ardmore. Decor was updated and modern. Temperature was easily controlled by wall thermostat. High point was the cleanliness.
After five days on a six day road trip, it was nice to have easy access off I-35 in order to reach the hotel. Beds were very accommodating, and the air conditioning served my friend very well. Wi-fi had some connection issues, although it did have to handle two computers in action. Morning breakfast was good.
No problems, very clean and well kept, comfortable, quiet, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was unbelievable- EVERYTHING! And everything was a good temperature and attractively displayed. We will definitely remember this hotel for future stays near Dallas.
My fiance and I stayed in the king jacuzzi room for our 4 year anniversary when visiting Lake Murray State Park. Everyone was so friendly to us. The room was really nice and cozy and the breakfast was amazing! Thank you so much for your hospitality! We will definitely be back if we make our way around that area again.
The manager, the people both at the front desk and the housekeeping, made the stay pleasant as they were all helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was relaxing for us, and more than met our expectation in comfort. We extended our stay twice because it was so comfortable! The only thing I would have changed was to have an outdoor pool instead of one indoors.
If you want a friendly front desk staff, clean hotel & restful night's sleep this is the one to choose when you visit Ardmore, OK. The décor is contemporary. The hotel's bar is a pleasant & relaxing place to spend some time. Everything about this hotel meets & exceeds my expectations.
Wi-Fi kept kicking us off. Other wise everything about the stay was outstanding. Upfront lady Casey was outstanding . Made my family feel welcome and cared for. ! A+ stay will stay there again in the future.
All in all we enjoyed our stay. Some pluses, bar area in room. Excellent ac super cold. Side chair in room had ottoman and was very comfortable, as well as office chair in room. Noise reduction really good it was tested by a baseball group in at same time. Will stay here again.
Beds are very comfy. Front desk staff is very friendly & helpful. Breakfast fresh & hot - kept well plenished. Rooms are clean with nice space. Location easily located. Will definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus in Ardmore, Ok, and the breakfast selections were very good and tasted great. We will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future. Great service and staff.
Other than the breakfast time being a bit off for a holiday the hotel was really nice. The car wash behind it was a little noisey first thing in the morning but the hotel can't do much about that. Nice room.
We stayed at the Best Western for one night during last weekend. The hotel is beautiful, the room we had was wonderful, the staff was helpful. A great location as it is close to several restaurants. We would definitely stay at the hotel again and would highly recommend it when traveling to Ardmore.
Staff were all very nice and helpful. Room was spacious and clean - the thermostat was excellent. Great breakfast options. Very cozy and comfy bed. Great pool. Very close to the highway and several food options.
We just needed one night in Ardmore so that we could explore the local fun spots - Turner Falls, Arbuckle Drive through, And GW exotic animal park. It was Spring break for us but very calm and not crowded at the hotel. When we checked in, it was with the manager, and he was so friendly and helpful. The room felt brand new and immaculate. Breakfast was fully stocked, and very good. Waffles, sausage patties, yogurt and bacon. We enjoyed the free tea and coffee in the lobby as well! Did not try out the pool. We would definitely stay here again for the low price and great experience!
What a Wonderful stay!! Everything was top notch. Would go out of the way on my next trip to stay here. Can't say enough about this hotel. I stay exclusively at BWP and in my opinion this is their flagship.
This is one of the best Best Westerns we have stayed In.Its very nice. Our room was spacious and clean.Breakfast was good.I would highly recommend this place if your passing through Ardmore,OK. Didn't get to enjoy the pool but maybe next time.
Very comfortable beds but hard to get into due to bed height. Especially for an older person.light switches were a little weird as to what ran what. Hotel was very clean and staff friendly and attentive. Hotel is new. Breakfast standard but very good.
I was thrilled to find this gem! The hotel is so modern, clean, and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot breakfast and the workout room. The price was very fair for what we experienced.
I really loved their upscale premises and their wide range of amenities. Their rooms appear new, and they are upscale, classy, comfortable, and well appointed with amenities such as microwave, HD TV, internet, frig, etc. They have free coffee in the lobby 24/7, (as well as a coffee maker in the room) and they have a very nice free breakfast room. Like the title says, this hotel is exceptional, and I enjoyed it very much. In fact, I'd stay at this hotel any time, it is a great hotel and the prices are very reasonable. That's what the "5" rating is about, and you can believe this 5 was earned!! I travel a lot, and This hotel is one of the best value to quality hotels I have ever stayed in.
Trip advisor rate was $79 when I got there it was $94. Our bathroom had dirty towels hanging up when we got . I won't be stopping there on my next trip I will use Hampton inn . Need less to say the dirty towels is what did it in. We where tired and went to be and just left the next morning with out complaining
This is hands-down one of THE best, Best Western's I have stayed at. Clean, well-kept, bed was comfortable, there is an ACTUAL thermostat in the room (not just on the unit near the window as you usually have), above average working mini fridge and a working microwave, DAMASK sheets!!!!!!!, and shut the front door.....even have some goodies to sprinkle on top of your oatmeal at breakfast (I kid you not!!). The breakfast was great as well as any staff I came in to contact with. side note: I do not know if this standard, but the swimming pool also had a handicap accessible chair/lift. Also, there is a hole-in-the-wall Mexican food restaurant across the street - great food. Service was so-so, but the food was great and pretty quick
This was a beautiful hotel and very clean, rooms were outstanding very big bathrooms were outstanding, and breakfast was great. Employees were very helpful and kind. Found the BW PLUS hotels are great
I was told during reservation there was a hot tub and when we got there we were told they were in certain rooms for another price. Front desk clerk was not very cheerful during check in/out. Pool was open and not properly signed stating that it was closed for cleaning/shocking. Having irritated eyes for the rest of the night was not my idea of fun. Kids were miserable.
rooms and hotel very clean. breakfast was very good. we got their late in the evening around 9pm. the person who tended us had a smile and when asked if government rates given she did verify they did. continued to have a pleasant smile.
I loved the staff so much. Kayla and Hailey at the front desk were so great. I was in town for a few days visiting my boyfriend and they were insanely helpful with telling me things to do to stay busy during the day while he was working. Joe is the gm and he was there when I checked in. He was great. He checked on everyone at breakfast every morning and if there were any problems he handled them immediately. It's obvious that they all care very much. The place is really clean and is by far the nicest and most beautiful best western I have ever seen. The reason I hesitated to write this is the only problem I encountered...the hotel owner. When he is there, you can hear him from anywhere in the hotel screaming at the employees. He was in the room next to me yelling at a housekeeper that she was doing a terrible job and threatened her job multiple times (I have no idea what he was talking about, the entire hotel was very clean and my room was perfect). It was disgusting. She ran out of the room and I saw her crying by the elevator. Even then she was kind and polite to me when I asked if she was ok. If I had a staff like that, working as hard as they are and doing the job they are, I would be so happy. He has no idea how to talk to his staff and best western should have done a better job screening so that they could give this beautiful hotel to someone who would appreciate it and treat their staff right. The fact that the staff keeps showing up and working so hard despite how they're treated by ownership is even more of a testament to how incredible the staff is. I will stay there again but hope he doesn't show up while I'm there. Great stay, but I wish I hadn't heard that guy talk to the staff like that.
Best hotel I've stayed at in a long time!! Practically brand new and you could even smell the new paint. Everything was clean, the breakfast was really really good and the staff were very nice. Highly recommend!!!!!!
Room was large, deco was interesting, bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel for a great stay. Also, the breakfast was presented in a very pleasing manner and the lady caring for it was so cheerful and helpful. Breakfast items were tasty and a wide selection
Look carefully at what is offered in this hotel and compare them to your needs. Ground transportation such as taxi service is not very good and at times non-existent. Breakfast is nominal, nothing beyond minimal. The front desk and kitchen staff are excellent and will do their best to assist you. But, they are limited.
The hotel is nice, but has enough flaws in the paint and trimming to bug me. Being new, it should stand out and look better. The top blankets had stains on them and looked like they hadn't been washed. I wasn't offered any Diamond level benefits when checking in. Good location and I expect that they will get better with time. Still new and they have to work out the kinks. I'd stay there again, but I'm hoping that everything will go up a notch. Breakfast was great! They had bacon and sausage every morning. The hotel staff is cheerful and they always had a smile. All around, not a bad stay.
This is a very nice and new hotel. Very nice front desk and breakfast staff. The rooms were spotless the bed was very comfy and the free breakfast was tasty. We stayed here rather than the cabins or lodge at lake Murray which is 10 - 15 minutes away. There was a bar and pool area which we did not use but looked very nice. Close to a variety of restaurants. Will most definitely be staying here again.
Clean rooms, comfortable beds, smallish pool, but but nice and clean. Breakfast staff great. They have bar open late, nice for a quiet drink. Not much in the area, so need to drive around to go anywhere interesting. Close to Windstar Casino ( 25 miinutes), convenient place to stay. 15 minutes from Lake Murray
Nice room that was both large and clean. Good size TV with comfortable bed/pillows. Decent breakfast selection. Only complaint was the difficulty connecting to wifi. There is also a gas station and Pizza Hut next door which is convenient.
Pros Newer hotel Beautiful decor Comfy bed Very nice front desk desk staff Free breakfast Very Clean The bed was fantastic and the hotel is very comfy and clean. Cons No cookware, no dishes and no silverware in a room with a kitchen. Bar has very limited drinks (no margaritas, just basic jack and coke style drinks) Manager never called me to discuss our stay after being asked. (Waited 3 days before writing review.) After arriving and checking in we notice that our kitchen that had a two burner stove and a decent size fridge had no cookware silverware or dishes we contacted the front desk she said she'd leave a message for her manager and see if she could get us a discount on the room. She didn't know why there was no dishes or cookware in the kitchenette rooms. The next morning we want to check out there was a discount on a room but the manager never contacted us so I asked again for the manager to contact us and as of 3 days later still no contact. I am glad they discounted the room to apx the price of the rooms without a kitchen but am disappointed that the hotel advertised a kitchen to cook in but neglected to say there is no cookware or dishes. I have never stayed at a hotel with a kitchen and no cookware or dishes. Very odd to that the coffee maker is in the bathroom when there is a kitchen.
The hotel is nearly new and it was kept up that way. Everything was clean and the decor was great. The staff was very good and making our stay pleasant. The bed was very comfortable. The parking lot was well lit and very safe.
The hotel is absolutely wonderful, from check in to check out. The breakfast was decent. And the indoor pool is very nice. Haven, the front desk gal was amazing. When a problem occurred on my bill she spent a good two hours making sure it got fixed. Although I was told the manager would be there the next day to speak with me about it, he was going to be there around 7. When 8 o'clock came he was still not there and we had to get on the road. I would have liked to spoke with him, but I am hoping the problem is corrected. The room is nice and big and very very very clean. It made our trip that much better. I would also love to know what kind of soft pretzels they serve at there hotel breakfast, they are super yummy.
The hotel is new and is very clean. Room was big and beds were comfy. Free internet and breakfast. Breakfast was great and they had plenty for everyone. I have no complaints about this hotel. Would recommend and stay here again.
Our stay was very pleasant and relaxing. It was very quite and tranquil even though it was in town. The staff went way above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay even more pleasant. It's was just a very short drive to the lake so the location was perfect. I will certainly stay again and maybe even bring more family with me. Thank you so much!
Originally booked this hotel from a third party online booking site but when we showed up, they had no record of my reservation. However the lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and was able to get us into the same room for quite a bit cheaper! She even offered to help with our luggage! (I was alone with my three children) I had booked 2 nights and had never even considered that they would bother cleaning our room, from what I had experienced at other places. Not only did they do an amazing job cleaning, we happened to be in their pool and the cleaning lady came down and asked if we wanted them to save the kids' drinks they hadn't finished and if there was anything special we wanted them to do, like make more room for the roll away we had! Needless to say, I was blown away with the staff and experience all together. We spent a lot of time in the pool and the manager came in several times to ask if the temperature was okay and the breakfast staff were very friendly as well. Highly recommend this place!
We stayed here recently and were very impressed. Our room was great, spacious and contemporary. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We have stayed in several hotels in Ardmore, but this will be our choice in the future. Great for the price.
Stayed with my sons for the holiday weekend. Room was great and the General Manager, Joe, was very helpful and professional. He was extremely friendly. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to visit our family.
WiFi router needed to be reset but front desk gave me a hard time saying "nobody else has complained". Also, no local network channels were available. It's new so they might still be working out the bugs.
We are Hilton Honors holders and decided to try BW+ so we did and the property was great and at a value$ Have been a BW member but never really tried since being spoiled by Hampton Inn. Best Western sure stepped up and at a value.
I received excellent customer service and found the facility to be in great shape. Did not have time to take advantage of the amenities but the room was large and comfortable. Good location just off I-35. Would highly recommend.
I've grown weary of writing less than stellar reviews of hotels. This Best Western + is praise worthy in every respect. Being brand new a few glitches wouldn't be a surprise but we didn't experience any. Everything was in order, and of decent quality. Even the breakfast items were a step above the typical Best Western offering. The location and parking were excellent as well.
My family and I stayed at this property over the Memorial Day weekend and were blown away! Joe, the General Manager was so great! He went above and beyond to assist us with restaurant recommendations and anything else we needed. He seemed to be working all of the time and was always checking in with other guests to see how their stays were. The rooms were super clean and all of the other staff was friendly. It is very clear this management team knows what they're doing! Would definitely bring my family here again!
I was getting close to the area in which I would be researching family and decided to stop and stay the night at the best western. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean including the outside. I would stay here again for sure.
Still smells like paint. The check in staff was extremely friendly. and i slept comfortably. The fitness room had everything you needed for a basic workout. It was a great stay. Some of the breakfast items were oversalted, however.
Beautiful, new hotel! Our room was clean and super comfortable. Despite a super-late check-in, the process was quick and easy. We slept so well we almost missed breakfast LOL The sliced bread is SO GOOD! We also enjoyed using the fitness room. Great time and recommend this place to every traveler!
The Staff and hotel were a fantastic surprise..I change the frame of mind I (had) towards Best Western Hotels. The Manager or Owner was delightful with conversation and ensured our stay was to our expectation. The Breakfast selections were expansive and great tasting. HIGHLY recommend this Hotel.
We stayed here and ended up having to take our vehicle to a nearby garage to be repaired. The staff at Best Western was over the top accommodating while we waited for our car to be fixed. We couldn't have asked for anything more--amazing!
This hotel is great! The staff was so nice & accommodating. The bed was very comfy & room was super clean. A great location as it is close to several restaurants & a gas station. I will definitely be staying there again next time I travel that way.
This hotel is brand new! Staff so nice!! (Shout out to Rene) Decor over the top Room beautiful - Bed was amazing Breakfast Delicious Joe, the GM greeted everyone. Even the housekeeping lady made me smile Perfect score Thanks, Desiree
Hotel just opened and everything was excellent. I usually use Marriott brand hotels but made a last minute switch from the nearby Springhill Suites and was VERY happy I did. Staff was as friendly as they could be, there's a bar/lounge area off the lobby, hs wireless Internet and more that I never used. For price and quality, great choice.
