Start waking you up by 9am to get you out. They come in after knocking. I told front desk and they still came back in our room 20 min later. Loud talking and banging around on neighboring walls, they want you out even if you have a late check out.

I always stay there, when I come to town, great hotel, always have family and friends, breakfast is always great, rooms very comfortable, and staff was very polite, love everything about it, can't wait, to the next stay.

The hotel was very clean and services were great. The only negative was the pool was unavailable due to pandemic but this was beyond the control of the hotel. The room was large and bed and pillows were so comfortable

This is a newer place. The room was in great shape. The bed was amazing as well. From the time that we walked in the door to the time that we left the staff was amazing and eager to fix anything if it needed fixed.

Hotel was very clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a little pricey compared to what I'm used to paying for a room, but it was also a better experience than I've had at most places.

Nice and very clean hotel. Loved the beds and linens. Room was clean and VERY SPACIOUS. Grab and go breakfast with the Covid was delicious and healthy. Nicely located near local food and attractions. Overall a great visit.

Hot tub room was spacious and clean. Bedding was fresh with out a heavy scent. Front desk was helpful, when I asked for two more towels. Breakfast items were brought out quickly when supplies were low. Enjoyed stay and will stay again if we can get a sitter for the kids.

We really enjoyed this hotel! The room was very nice and clean! And the staff was great!! We had an issue with our tv and they sent one of the housekeepers to fix it and she didn't leave till it was fixed right! And the front desk girl Beth was really a great hard working lady! Loved every minute!!!!!

This hotel is a great option when visiting the Texoma region. Madill and Tishomingo have great main streets with shopping and restaurants. This hotel was clean, our room was huge, and everything was simply perfect. I wish I could have stayed longer.

We had a great stay here. The room was quite spacey for the two of us. We appreciated that they left pastries and fruit out all day so we could grab a quick bite after a day at the festival. We only had a couple of issues. One was noisy neighbors on our last night. The front desk did a fantastic job getting them to quieten down after their second visit but it may have been the threat to leave if they had to come back again. The other may have been a busy staff or no tip left by me that day cause we got an early start but on Sunday morning, our room wasn't completely put back together. Pillows left on floor and trashcan left by front door. Not a biggie, just surprising to see. The location near food spots in walking distance was fantastic too. You could walk across the parking lot to Braums or around a quick corner to Boomerangs or a little farther to Taco Bell. All amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion) were in dispensers except for one small bar of facial soap. The shower gel smelled lemony.

Everyone was great. Clean rooms and bathrooms., The breakfast hot and good coffee. The value was good but the taxes was at $20.17. The pool was just right temp. Plenty of parking and central located to Texoma Lake and North Texas.

The fire alarms went off daily at 6am nobody had a clue why or how to silent it. Staff was very rude couldn't find them half the time. I asked for owner or manager was told they are on vacation. Power went out for over an hour and a1/2 in the middle of the day.

Stayed at this hotel during the 4th of July while visiting family. Hotel has clean rooms and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and helped whenever you need them too. They also had free cookies in lobby. Would stay again if in area.

Best nights sleep we've had all trip and a huge room with welcoming staff (even though the uniform of the breakfast person looked to be pyjama bottoms?!) Breakfast let it down a bit though, there were eggs and sausage patties but they were like warm and there wasn't much choice of bread. No bagels or English muffins, mainly cakes. Let it down a little.

Even though the town is a bit old, this hotel was an extremely nice stay. Very refreshing & staff was extremely nice & helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel if needing to go anywhere in the area. Wonderful location, wonderful rooms, costs was very reasonable & I really like my military discount, helps a lot.

Looked for a place to stay during fishing trip to lake Texoma. Found this to be the best and closest. It was a quite and clean place to stay. Had a early show time at the lake on Sunday and breakfast wasn't started until 6:30. So had to gab food and run. Just your normal hotel breakfast. The problem I had with it was the sausage links were cold. I will stay here again during my next fishing trip.

We spent 2 nights there. Following the advice of other Trip Advisor reviews, we asked for a room away from the train track and got it. During the first night, because I was up for “other reasons”, I did hear very faintly the train whistle. Very faint and the 2nd night—didn't hear it all. Breakfast was great both days. Rooms clean. Bed firm but not hard, just the way I liked. The shower head is way up there on the wall, so if you are a tall person, you would not need to bend at all. Hahaha. We will definitely stay here again should our travels take us this way. Thank you for a good nights sleep.

The Sand Bass Best Western in MADILL, OK is a great place to stay, especially if you are planning to go to Lake Texoma. There is plenty of room for our pick-up and 35' boat. It is easy in and easy out. I prefer to stay at at the Best Western rather than at a cabin at the lake. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in or around MADILL, OK.

My sister and I were fortunate to purchase tickets for a concert in Tishomingo but couldn't find accommodations in the town. Fortunately, we found this Best Western in Madill on Trip Advisor then booked online. The hotel is new, clean and fresh. Service was great. Definitely recommend Best Western Plus Sand Bass and Suites.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, easy parking, and a good value. Stayed here many times and the management appears to be maintaining a good level of a quality product. One suggestion would be to add a threshold sweep to the bottom of the room doors so that light and hall noise could be excluded from the room.

In Madill, this proved a wonderful haven for us. We stayed 6 nights. The management came through consistently with delicious breakfasts, clean facilities, friendly room staff and good advice for us. The price was fair and people and treated us very well. We look forward to our next stay.

You wont get a much better hotel in this area. The staff is super friendly and professional. The facility is clean, rooms and bathroom are clean. We didn't have any issues. Close to the lakes, close to surrounding towns (family lives in Tishomingo). Breakfast is good. Traveled with small children and it was easy.

New hotel, great large rooms, good breakfast, great value for $$. Convenient to restaurants, quiet, staff very helpful. Loved the larger rooms and two real chairs plus desk made it very comfortable. Would stay again.

Even though we checked in during a horrible storm the staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We lost electricity several times throughout the night and all the staff stayed calm and was very reassuring

Beds were comfortable, rooms were very clean. We showed up with our two small children and stayed in a room with two beds and we were very comfortable. The bedroom was spacious. Breakfast was good. I highly recommend while in Madill, OK. We will definitely stay again.

This is a great little hotel. I stayed for business as it was the closest to where I would be working the next day and was surprised at the quality of the place given its location. I had not even looked it up online before making a reservation. It ended up being a pretty new hotel, very clean, great full complimentary breakfast, and excellent staff. As someone who travels a lot, I expect a certain level of quality at a Best Western over the others, and this one meets that expectation. I will stay here again in the future. A++

I hate to write a 200 page essay so this should be changed! I think the stay was an excellent experience. The staff was very accommodating. I feel the lady that checked us in went above and beyond which she didn't have to. 10/10 is what I give this stay and a big part was just because the experience with this employee trying to make out stay the best.

I love staying at the Sand Bass Inn! It is like staying with friends, but you have privacy and can come and go as you please. I think I gain a few pounds every time we stay because of the cookies. They are always plentiful and warm.

This was a great place to stay. It was a quiet place to stay. It was a little way off the I 35, but worth the extra distance. It was clean, beautifully decorated, the breakfast was good. It was pet friendly and the area around the hotel was nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I felt safe and comfortable. The kids had fun playing in the pool. We will be staying there again when we travel through the area. I would highly recommend this hotel!

My family stayed for 6 days and each day was high quality comfort, good hot breakfast and continental type items. Fresh cookies in the lobby. Beds and pillows were comfortable, as was the couch sitting area. There was a counter over the refrigerator and microwave for our food prep area. The pool and exercise area were nice. Close to Walmart and restaurants, and within walking distance to fast food. Professional staff is friendly.

I made the trip to Madill with my son while taking him to college. The room was one of the nicest I have ever stayed in. Very clean and neat. The breakfast was excellent with a significant variety to choose from. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The went beyond the call of duty to make sure our stay was a good experience. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Madill, Oklahoma. We'll be back.

This was our first time at a Best western plus. Stayed for 5 nights in a double Queen suite. Housekeeping was exceptional! rooms were very clean, breakfast was pretty good. Pool was awful! Key card stopped working 4 times and the fourth time it happens the front desk clerks response was "it happens" well we have stayed at countless Holiday Inn Express and Hampton hotels and it has NEVER happened!! I would definitely have the housekeeping staff train the front desk in customer service, they were very welcoming!

Too many excellent assets exist at this hotel, which the front desk personel are the jewels among many jewels. The food selection at the breakfast was amazing. So many choices and all taste so very good. The Coffee they serve at this location is the best coffee I have every consumed. I enjoyed the pool and the sauna so much. And there is a extremly clean bathroom right there at the pool so you don't have to go to your room. The bed was so comfortable. Just loved this hotel and when visiting OK again I will stay there.

I was very happy with this hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. I had a great night's sleep all week. They have happy hour a couple nights during the week which was nice. Very friendly helpful and caring people. Clean rooms and up to date. Beds in the room we stayed in were clean and neatly made. Bit on the firm side for us. But still very pleased with everything Sand Bass has to offer. AAAAA+

This hotel was great. It was clean and up to date and the staff was very cheerful and welcoming. The continental breakfast pretty much had it all-something for everyone. We would definitely stay here again. Worth the price.

We were in town for Sand Bass Festival. Enjoyed our stay here. The décor was amazing. Breakfast was delicious, lots of variety. Service was great and the staff was vey friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the hot showers too.

Close to fishing area accommodations were very nice and clean. Personnel was pleasant and accommodating. Check in/out was efficient close to walmart and eating places. Hotel is approximately 5 years old so has newer decor and good layout.

I travel quite often and thus was my second visit to this hotel. It is always well maintained with clean rooms and good friendly staff. Room was well equipped with good a/c which is always a plus for me.

We just spent two nights at the Best Western Plus, Sand Bass Inn in Madill. It was a very nice place. As I've said many times, the most important thing to me is cleanliness. And this hotel is very clean. Our room was extremely spacious. The bed was very comfy. The room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Very nice. The hotel was not noisy at all, even though it was full both nights. There is also a nice breakfast provided free. We had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and waffles. All were very good. The staff was also very friendly. I had only two minor complaints...one the water pressure was not great, which made the shower just so so. But the biggest problem was that parking was a problem. But only because some people with boats are jerks and took up 5,6 or 7 spaces parking their trucks and boats. The hotel offers large spots for trucks and boats, but they were up the long drive to the highway and I guess some of these jerks were too lazy to walk a few extra feet. One one night, over 20 parking spaces were taken up by 3 vehicles because of their boats. One even parked a boat in the handicap parking space. Really though, it's a great hotel, if they would just enforce some parking etiquette.

Rooms were very clean and staff was pleasant. Bed was comfortable and had a selection of pillows, which is great. Breakfast was okay. We went down about 9:00a.m. and it had not been replenished. Once we told the lady, she replenished quickly.

Very nice & clean hotel. We will stay here again! The staff was amazing. I can't say anything about the breakfast because it starts at 6:30 and we left to go fishing at 6:00. It's close to a McDonald's so we hit their drive-thru on the way to the lake. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

We were going on a fishing trip at Lake Texoma and wanted a motel close by. It was very clean and had nice size rooms. There cookies and coffee available in the lobby and they serve breakfast in the morning. There are also restaurants close by. When I go back to Madill I will be staying there again.

The room was beautiful and clean. Even the sofa bed was comfortable. The staff was super friendly. They even let us check in early when we arrived a few hours ahead of schedule. The hotel was very quiet, no slamming doors or loud people. My kids loved the free cookies in the lobby, too!

This hotel was an excellent place to stay in a small town. The hotel looked very nice, the staff very accommodating, the bed comfortable, the complementary breakfast was good & all for a fair price. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Madill, Ok after staying here.

I was traveling and had to re-route dye to weather. I looked up this hotel online and made the decision to stop. It was a good choice. Nice comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

Right on the main road, but set back from the highway. Very clean and fresh. The staff was very accomodating. Room was big, mattress firm and comfy, nice coach in room. Fitness center was adequate. Would have loved to use the outdoor hot tub but not serviced yet for the season - It will be ready early April. Breakfast was fine - Normal faire Scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt waffles, cereal, and, breads.

My companion and I stayed two nights in March. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Room was clean (suite) on the backside of the hotel. Our room looked out onto a residential front yard. Front desk staff helpful, polite, and professional. Didn't sample breakfast, but it was the usual fare. Coffee was good. This is a completely non-smoking hotel which I value. Would stay here again.

We spent two nights at Best Western Plus Sand Bass Inn & Suites. The check-in was friendly and went smoothly. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable but the pillow was bigger (fuller) than I like and can comfortably sleep with and there were no smaller selections. The bathroom was clean and functional and supplied with the usual shampoo, conditioner, etc. The free breakfast had several food items to choose from and in our two days included dry cereals, yogurt, toast and pastries, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage (one day) and bacon (the other day). There was also orange juice and coffee. Overall it was a nice, clean, quiet place to stay with nice amenities. If I'm in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

Stayed here overnight on a Friday night in November. Was thoroughly impressed with the friendliness of the hotel clerk, the overall classy appearance of the hotel, the cleanliness, and the super nice rooms, extra comfortable beds, the showers, TV, internet, microwave coffeemaker, and many other amenities in the room. There was a really nice breakfast room (free), with mega selections. again, everything was clean, clean, classy, classy, classy. excercise facilities, mini-mart for vending, excellent, excellent, excellent. No, I am not overdoing this review. I stay in a LOT of hotels, this is one of the best values I have ever found in many years of travel. Book it, you won't be sorry, unless you require an on-site bar/lounge facility.

My first time staying there, as I pull trailers out of Madill. The room was very large and clean. Staff was very nice both at night and day shift. Breakfast bar was hot and very nice. I will continue to book rooms there. The only negative is as I was traveling down the road, I had my wife ( at home) to call the 800 number to book a room. The lady told my wife that they only had one room left and they need a card to not only hold the room, which is fine, but wanted to charge the room with no change. But , I wanted to change card numbers when I got there to put room on business card. The lady at central booking then proceeded to call me for a different card number. I told her that if it was going to be that way, I would just stay somewhere else and hung up. Did not have time to look for card traveling down the interstate. The lady out of Phoenix, AZ then proceeds to call my wife back at home and tells her that I said for her to put it on a card., which she did. My wife calls and tells me what she has used a card. I tell her to call and cancel the charge , because that is not what I told the lady. I told my wife I would take my chances when I got there . When I got there, they had plenty of rooms available and local staff was great and gave me a lower price quote for room, then Central Booking. Do not use Central Booking for Best Western, but call them direct. Very Nice motel for a small town.

Hotel experience was really good overall. Check in and out was easy, beds comfortable, very clean rooms and hotel, and pleasant staff. Only downside is very limited breakfast options on breakfast bar.

We stayed 3 nights in room 116. Check in and out was fast and easy, the front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Our room/suite was very nice, clean and comfortable. We had a good sized fridge, a micro and a pull out couch. The water pressure was a little low, but you'll find this at most hotels. This hotel has a fitness center with one treadmill, one elliptical, one bike and a weight machine. They provide a tv to watch while you are torturing yourself. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast but one morning noticed they served the ever present powdered fake eggs with sausage. The hotel sits a little ways back from Main Street so there isn't too much street noise. It's also right next to a Taco Bell and Braum's with a casino across the street. The room had plenty of electrical outlets for our electronics. For the anglers, it is about 20 minutes from Catfish Bay Marina on Lake Texoma. I will definitely stay here again.

Plus: spacious, beautiful room. Very clean. Comfortable mattresses. Quiet location (few freight trains). Breakfast offered, attractive lobby and breakfast area. Usual breakfast fare. Minus: no safety strips or mat in bathtub! (scary for me, I need canes to walk). No housekeeping came to room the day after we checked in. Around 2 I called the front desk and was assured they would show soon. I went out, came back at 4. Room was untouched. Trash cans were full, toilet paper low, coffee supplies exhausted. Plus: front desk employee Brittny brought toilet paper, clean towels and replenished coffee supplies, apologized for housekeeping failure. Lastly, a staff member Leanna, housekeeping, offered to lend me the change to use the washer and dryer. The front desk could not help me get change to use the machines. Leanna overheard me talking to front desk trying to get change. Leanna also took my laundry to the laundry room for me. Amazing. I paid her back and left her some yummy pumpkin spice cupcakes as thanks.

My stay exceeded my expectations. We couldn't be more pleased with the service and the kindness that was shown. Not only ease of booking, but quick and friendly check-in, great room and good breakfast! Highly recommend!

Was surprised to fine such a nice place in this small town of Madill. We were in town for a softball showcase at Murray State College in a nearby town. Very large rooms and very clean. Nice location and friendly workers.

excellent service and beautiful and clean room. good breakfast with real scrambled eggs. good amenities in room. refrigerator was cold and had coffee maker that was clean and everything looked new. enjoyed our stay.

Not quite up to standards on the breakfast buffet. Food that should have been hot was very decidedly, NOT. Not up to safety temps, and for a buffet where a lot of people come through and handle the food...BRRRRRR. My husband and I wouldn't eat. The bed gave us both sore backs.

What a pleasant surprise! A great hotel in a southern Oklahoma small town. Impressive exterior design conveniently located in Madill (We were visiting Tishomingo and there were no hotels in town). Absolutely better than expected. The hotel is only 4 years old and our King Suite was huge. We will definitely be back whenever we are anywhere close!

This Best Western is always reliable. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is always attentive, never disappointed. We travel to Madill often on business it is the only place to stay as far as we are concerned.

we stayed at the hotel for two nights for a wedding. The hotel was very nice, clean, decorated nicely, comfortable bed, the breakfast was better than I expected with eggs, biscuits, waffles, breads, yogurt, fruit. Staff was courteous and helpful and professional.

We found this hotel after exploring Lake Texoma. There were no suitable accommodations near the Texas/Oklahoma border so we decided to keep driving to Madill. We were quite surprised to find such a clean and well kept hotel at a decent price in Madill. The parking lot was clean and well lit. The landscaping was nice and appreciated. Staff was nice and patient upon arrival when we asked for rates. My only complaint would be that when I asked for a complimentary razor or to buy one they couldn't seem to find any. Would return and recommend.

This is an outstanding hotel in it's physical plant. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was a little hard, but OK. The breakfast does not meet the standards of the competition. Hampton, Fairfield and Holiday Inn Express all have much superior breakfast buffets. This is in the south. No gravy for biscuits, no potatoes or grits. Most items were slightly warm, not hot, Spruce up the breakfast and would be an excellent property.

We recently made a trip to Oklahoma to visit family. We had 9 people 4 kids 5 adults. We had a great and amazing experience at Best Western. First the check-in was very smooth and quick especially with getting 3 rooms. The hotel is very clean inside and out. Very up to date and modern feel. The rooms are very spacious and very nice. There is a small snack and drink area in the lobby for purchase. The pool and hot tub are outside and very clean and well kept. Overall our experience very nice and could not of asked for a better quick getaway.

Couldn't be more pleased. Zero complaints. Fresh coffee and warm cookies upon arrival. Very nice decor and landscaping, which I appreciate. Wait staff didn't rush us out of the breakfast room even though we stayed longer than posted hours. Will stay at this hotel every time we are in the area.

Best place in Madill to stay! Staff great, newer hotel. Being a newer hotel it is nice and clean, staff is helpful and very polite. They offer breakfast and complimentary newspapers in the morning. I will stay again.

A big thank you to Best Western Plus in Madill, OK. I really enjoyed my stay and felt home away from home. The staff took really great care of us, and were so nice. The rooms and gathering areas were amazingly nice and totally exceeded expectations! Would definitely stay at this place next year.

We chose this hotel since it is one of the newer hotels in Madill. It was very clean, with modern, spacious rooms. Our room had internet, cable, a frig & microwave, along with a separate desk and sitting area. We will definitely use this hotel again.

This was a great place to stay. Excellent rooms and the bed was very comfortable. We would stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone. We didn't swim in the outdoor pool but it was a great pool.

After staying at this Best Westen hotel I will start looking for another in other areas that I travel, this is a new experance of a very old chain hotel that went for a long time without change. This hotel is located very well in Madill and easy to find.

This was my second visit to this hotel for business. The first visit, approximately 2 years ago, was great. However you could clearly tell the hotel has deteriorated with time. The staff was a little less than cordial upon our arrival. They weren't mean or rude by any means but just seemed like they were not excited to be working. The room was nice and clean however outside the room, where most customers make their impression of the location, was in less than ideal condition. I can't speak for the first floor but the second floor had numerous blemishes on the walls where it appeared someone had come in and repaired irregularities with the drywall and had sanded the excess and left it on the floor. This wasn't just an isolated location, but multiple places. They also failed to paint the patches within the 3 days that we were staying here. The breakfast was pretty decent and the staff in the mornings did a great job of keeping the various items stocked. Overall the location is probably average for a chain hotel. In the Madill area I'm sure it might be considered above average however in comparison to my previous stays at other locations it would be average.

Stay at this Hotel when visiting family. Have been coming back every year for the past three years. Friendly Staff, clean, quite room, good breakfast, fast free wifi. Located in the middle of were we need to be.

Better than staying in Ardmore OK where my work took me for 1 week, this town in 28 miles east of Ardmore and I received a much better value and experiece staying in this town of Madil. Be aware that eating locations for quality food was limited in Madil. If you like meat, then you are O.K. here. The Hotel was great and a real surprise, with respect to its quality. Breakfast was sort of average. Coffee was so-so.

We have stayed at this hotel many times since we come to Oklahoma for the Tishomingo Bycicle Ride every year. The hotel is kept in excellent shape and looks as new as it was a few years ago. Personnel are excellent and very friendly. We love this place.

I had to wait for the front desk clerk for over twenty minutes. The refrigerator made a loud noise all night long had to get up in the middle of the night and unplug it. I had NO coffee pot in the room. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Very nice hotel friendly and helpful staff. Close to a few good restaurants and a grocery store just up the street. the internet was less than I had expected but the quality of the room made up for the lack of speed. I would stay at this Hotel again when i am next in the area.

Planned a quick weekend getaway to the Winstar casino last minute for my fiance's birthday...we were unable to get a room for Saturday night at the casino, but did for Sunday night so we had to find a place that wasn't too terribly far from where we were going to be gambling...there were plenty of other choices down the road but they were either priced too high or very questionable...we decided we'd prefer to drive a bit vs taking our chances on the other properties offered. We went with the Best Western Plus Sand Bass Inn & Suites because of all the great reviews it got here on TripAdvisor and it met all of our expectations. As far as value for your money it can NOT be beat. Very pleased.

I stayed at this hotel and I was very impressed! It was clean and comfortable. It smelled good everywhere in the lobby, halls, and room. I could have sworn that it was brand new even though they said it was three years old. It's without a doubt one of the nicest three star hotels that I've stayed in. I totally didn't expect to find something so nice in a small town in Southern Oklahoma. The beds were very, very comfortable. I loved the decorating. I didn't have the breakfast.

Oklahoma Sister's and Cousin Road Trip was made perfect when we checked in to this hotel! The young lady at the desk was very friendly and most helpful with our reservations made through TripAdvisor.com. She gave us all our requests except one and we did not find that to be a problem. We had wanted adjoining rooms but at least we were next door and on same floor. VERY clean rooms and very comfortable. Breakfast was at 8:45 for all of us and it was disappointing in not having some items stocked anymore. People coming after us even had it worse since we took some of the last that was left. There was fresh fruit which did help. The coffee was perfect! We hope to make another trip to Tishomingo together again some day and if we do we will stay here again.

Nice clean hotel - only complaint would be the pool being out and the non existent breakfast bar. If I had known that the pool was out of serviced then I probably would had booked another hotel close by, it was summer and the kids were looking forward to using the pool. The pool was green.

My husband and I took a trip to see the dentist at Tishomingo, we had to have a room that was handicap accessible and this place was the only one close that had it. Our stay was awesome, great food at breakfast, nice clean rooms and a wonderful staff.
