« Run like hell from this place »

It's just awfull! The room stinks, the food is terible and there is a guy (from my understanding, it's the owner) who smokes in the lobby and in the restaurant! The bed is uncomfortable, the breakfast is poor and in the night the noise in the room doesn't let you sleep at all.

« Pretty on the surface, rotten inside »

The hotel is quite horrible for the price. The moment you enter the elevators and the halls a musty smell hits you. Then you enter the room. It looks quite good until you notice dead bugs on the wall and window that ,by the way, were never cleaned during my 4 day stay there. I would not recommend this hotel when there are tens of better hotels in this city

    « Excelent »

I stayed for 2 nights and i felt very good. It is a good hotel, pleasant and not so noisy. Clean room and comfortable bed. The food was tasty and the personal polite. Fre parking. I will return for sure.

« Clean, well priced, up and coming, but a bit noisy. »

Stayed here for several days. Foyer and rooms are impeccably clean and the reception staff welcoming. I had a room to the front of the hotel. Room was clean, large and comfortable with usual mod cons (kettle, mini-bar, TV and free wifi). Although this hotel is a new addition to the Best Western chain and the service was improving bit by bit during my stay, it is however worth noting that the hotel needs to address: 1. Frequency of checks on availability of soap etc in the rooms 2. The parking at the front of the hotel needs to be made driver friendly, perhaps by having the curb lowered. 3. Some sound insulation for the rooms at the front of the hotel would be appreciated, or insisting that the city council install in traffic calming measures (especially during the night). 4. Ensure that Breakfast is ready at the advertised start time.

    « 3night business trip to bucharest »

Since this hotel is close to the Village Museum we booked it and thank good there was not much traffic on the main road otherwise it would be a nightmare with all the noise. The Aircon of the room was not working and we complaint thinking it would be fixed the next day but no luck. Also please note the rooms facing the road are much better than the rooms facing the rear so make sure you check which rooms you are getting.

    « aggressive Owner »

I want to share with other travelers a bad experience I had this week in BEST WESTERN PLUS Expocenter Hotel in Bucharest, so... checkin was great and the room was fine, the food in the restaurant was not so good, but hey, not a big deal (happened), however... when my wife and I wanted to check out, we we're not sure if our credit card got charged prior to our arrival or perhaps we need to pay at the check out, I called my bank to clear this issue and while I am making the call a man came to me and without introduce himself start blaming me for not wanting to pay, i asked him : "who are you" ? he answered : "i am the owner of the hotel" i couldn't believe this is actually happening, Europe, 4 stars hotel, how come... well it was real, the owner became even more aggressive and my wife (9 month pregnent) told me to pay now and go, we paid and left, never to return.

    « One night and a day »

The hotel is on a very noisy road, so the terrace of the restaurant is not a pleasant place. The room was OK, clean and the minibar well equipped but very expensive. The breakfast was as expected, normal continental food, but the espresso not have to pay for it. The staff is helpful and kind at the reception and the restaurant as well.

    « Nice an warm »

Because I have been there in a very cold evening in January , I felt everything being warm. The reception lady that was waiting for me, the room getting warm quick, the waiter in restaurant that recommended very good romanian dumplings ( papanasi). Maybe one exception: next morning another lady in the reception, maybe a trainee, that did not know how to say hallo to the guests in the morning ( maybe she was too sad:) Relaxing experience in a stresful world.

    « A very good hotel!!! »

I spent 4 night in this hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice , the rooms were clean and spacious. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel ' nice service /good food. The check in was quick , i was on B&B.We upgrade for a superior room and about the location , i liked it 'caouse it is near Baneasa Mall. As a 4 stars hotel i can recommend to all my friends.

    « Amazing place »

    « Convenient place »

We upgraded the standard room booked via to a superior one as the standard room was below standard for a 4 stars hotel. The superior room is excellent, the breakfast was a la carte because there were very few customers for a buffet one. The personnel was very polite. Don't get a room facing the street as the noise insulation is not adequate to combat the morning car noise on the bulevardul poligrafiei (very busy in the morning). I guess this gets even worse during spring summer if one wants to let the window open. No gym room but one can jog in Herastrau park that is near enough. Very clean rooms and b/room. Very convenient parking in front of the hotel at no cost. Very good free WiFi. Very convenient location if one does not want to get into the centre of Bucharest. I would recommend this hotel!!!

    « Great new place »

I had a nice evening there and enjoyed to stay in this hotel. Rooms were very nice, friendly staff, and also a nice restaurant . The only thing is that not all the rooms have a nice view. Great place for couples but also for business.

    « Very pleasant stay »

Stayed at Best Western Plus for 5 nights. Everything was perfect. Big and nice room, very clean, good room service. The staff was very helpfull. Easy acces to praking. I would recommend this hotel for anybody who wants to have a nice stay in Bucharest.

I was very happy considering it was my first time to Romania. Very nice staff, the check in was very quick. The breakfasts is good and diversificate with self serving. The room was just perfect! Clean, big, with comfortable bed. ? The area of the hotel is good, not far from the mall and other stores.

It was a pleasure my staying at Best Western Expo Hotel in Bucharest. Everything was as it should be at a 4 stars hotel. Staff was polite and helpful with all my requests, i am a 5 stars guest, usually i go only to Marriott, but this time i had business in the Hotel aria and i was very impressed by everything: food, breakfast, lobby, business aria, staff and specially the room. Next time i'll spend my money on this hotel too. I used the taxy they called me, i wanted to go out in downtown, and the taxy driver was very nice and honest. It s not my first visit to Bucharest and i was surprised by the honesty of those people. I totally recommend as it will be my first option next time I will come back to Romania.
