"Comfortable and stylish Aiden Hotel Lodz "

Arden Hotel has been a very comfortable and stylish base for our 10 day stay in Lodz. Close to both Piotrkowska shopping street and all the attractions at Manufaktura. Situated in a quiet, safe area, the front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. Secure parking is available onsite. The spacious room exceeded our expectations, comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Delicious breakfast to suit a wide range of tastes and dietary needs is definitely worthwhile. We ate at the hotel restaurant on a number of occasions; enjoying Polish cuisine served by attentive, English speaking staff: Ania and Oliwia.

"Solid Hotel for a Night or Two"

We had the misfortune of arriving on a day when the city was in the process of doing work on the power lines. Consequently, the electricity on the entire street was turned off for hours. The hotel staff, specifically front desk agent Eliza, Barbara (a manager I think), and Angelika (housekeeping), went above and beyond typical customer service and very kindly offered to assist us carrying our heavy luggage up the steps to our room since the elevator was not in operation. The room was clean and spacious with a nice walk-in shower. There were a couple of negatives about the hotel, however. It is somewhat isolated without many restaurants nearby. It is not fully accessible as there are steps to get into the building and then a sunken floor in the lobby requiring that you climb down a couple of steps and then up a couple of steps to reach the front desk. Also, there are no laundry facilities or service available on site, which I believe is advertised on the hotel's website. Overall, however, this is a fine hotel for a short stay.
