« new, clean, everything works well »

Stayed here 3 nights. The room was spacious, clean & comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool. I appreciated the separate freezer vs. the usual freezer within the fridge that you get in most motels. The hot tub & pool were both clean & good temperatures. Front desk staff were helpful & friendly. Convenient to the park & walking distance to restaurants. The only thing that needs improvement is the standard-issue breakfast; would be nice if it the main ingredients were not sugar & white flour. I don't expect that to change anytime soon but it seems not too hard to include plain yogurt as a choice along w/ all the sugary fruit flavored yogurts. I paid with credit card points so I got a better rate, but the $ rate is pretty steep for what this is, which is a somewhat fancier version of a generic motel. Especially w/ that breakfast, which is essentially the same as what I've gotten at places that were half the price. I don't know, maybe it's an expensive location. (Someone else picked where we were staying so I don't know how it compares to the competition.)

« Nice Stay In Zion »

Loved staying at this motel. Everything was nice and new looking and very clean. I believe this property had just been remodeled. Our room faced the mountains and it was so peaceful sitting on the balcony in the evenings. We also spent time around the fire pit in the courtyard. This was a nice touch. Saw some deer stroll in and back out. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in this area again.

« Hotel just outside Zion gate »

The hotel is new, clean, comfortable and in a beautiful setting. It is minutes from the Zion park entrance and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Free breakfast is provided. There is a nice pool and hot tub which come in handy after a long day of adventure. Free wi-fi and balcony to enjoy the view from. The staff were friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning soon.

    « Zion National Park »

The hotel was in just a great spot! The balcony was so nice to sit on in the evenings. The staff was very helpful and sweet. The breakfast was very good! It is easy to walk around in the town. The shuttle stop was just in front of the hotel so convenient. We had a great time in this little town. We ate at Oscars where the food was great and we at at Noodles and pizza where the food was also good.

    « What a Great Hotel »

This is a very nice hotel that has been open only a short time. The rooms are very nice and parking is free and plenty of it. The shuttle to Zion stops right in front of the hotel which is great. The staff is very helpful and willing to help you. Breakfast is very good and a nice way to start the day.If your are going to Zion this is the place to stay!

    « Perfect property! »

This is the perfect Zion hotel destination. Close to the park and all the amenities that beautiful Springdale has to offer. Walking distance to everything including the best restaurant in town, the Bit & Spur. Can't wait to return.

    « Exceptional hotel! »

Wonderful hotel with an ideal location! Everything was clean and comfortable and staff was excellent. Outdoor pool and hot tub had a beautiful view of the mountains. The Zion shuttle stops directly outside the hotel to take you to and from the park. Rooms have balconies which is so nice to sit and enjoy the view. Can't wait to return!

« Highly recommend if hiking Zion »

The hotel was clean. Staff were super friendly. The hotel is very close to Zion Park and on the Zion shuttle line. The view from my balcony was spectacular! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone exploring Zion.

    « Best Western »

Hotel personnel were professional and friendly. hotel was clean. slept on second floor, and it was quiet (though it was too cold for people to use the pool). the fire/convo pits were a nice touch--I think I saw three of them. Bed was comfortable. breakfast was ok--eggs, yogurt, etc. This place was very convenient to the restaurants, coffee places, rental places in Springdale. We rented bikes and biked into Zion--great way to see the place without any lines! we skipped all the shuttles and that way skipped all the crowds.

    « Great place »

This hotel is super clean and friendly. It's in a great location for Zion. There are bus stops right in front of the hotel on either side. The pool and hot tub were nice and the internet was fast. The town it's in is adorable.

« Standard Best Western - excellent staff »

Do not stay on the ground floor! We were booked for 2 nights and the first night we literally had almost no sleep. We heard every activity going on by the couple above us - all night long with just enough pause in between to allow us to fall back asleep for a half hour until they started up again. The manager was super sweet and allowed us to check out the next morning with no penalty. It was really disappointing as we had booked two nights in the middle of a Vegas trip to spend a day in the park but we were so exhausted we just wanted to leave. The hotel is brand new and while I cannot say enough about the staff, all of whom were really wonderful from check in to check out, the hotel is really overpriced as it is just a standard BW kind of motel with a parking lot out your front door/window. Amenities were non descript and minimal and there is no bathtub, only a shower with very low water pressure. There are far more charming places to stay.

« Wonderful Place to Stay »

When we stayed, the hotel was only 3 months old. Accommodations were great and so was the staff. This hotel is within walking distance to the park entrance but still has a shuttle stop across the street. We loved having a microwave and fridge with freezer in the room. The breakfast gave us energy for a day of hiking.

    « National parks visit »

Modern clean convenient location. Decent breakfast. Easy to get to Zion bus service and local restaurants.Nice large room with 2 televisions .Good fitness center . Nice pool Good lounge chairs with spa.

    « Western Parks Trip »

It was an excellent stay. Staff was so friendly and accommodating even when we checked in at 5 AM. We were even given a BW rewards room upgrade. Room was spacious. We will definitely stay with BW Zion next western parks trip.

« Brand New and a Great Staff »

Can't say anything better. It's a great hotel and close to the Zion Canyon NP entrance. Beds are comfortable, free breakfast is delicious, room even had a balcony with a view of the canyon. The staff exceeded my expectations.

« Great location for Zion trip »

This new hotel is immaculate, has great views, and is very convenient for shuttle stops. We could walk to galleries and dinner. The room was comfortable and quiet. No complaints. The guest laundry was great to have after hiking in the park for days.

« Great Stay in March »

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights for a hiking trip to Zion. Can't imagine a better choice in the area. The rooms were new and good size. We stayed in the back building and it was very quiet. We had a nice view from the front porch although we only stepped out there in the morning to check the weather.. The breakfast was what you expect from this type of hotel, not great, but it's right there and you can get a food start for a hiking day. They also offered breakfast very early to mid morning (can't remember exact times). Also, the shuttle stop is close by - even for the shortened route. Great stay!

« wonderful stay at the Zion Best Western Plus »

We had a wonderful stay at the Zion Best Western Plus - everything was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. All areas of the hotel were super clean and pretty. The room and bathroom were great - comfy bed, lots of pillows, good wi-fi connection, lots of room to make snacks to take hiking, large clean new bathroom.

    « Location »

The BW Zion appears very new. The lobby and rooms were lovely. You have to use a shuttle in Zion National Park. There is a town shuttle that picks you up right across from the hotel and takes you to the Park entrance. Very convenient. There are many shops within walking distance to peruse after dinner. We ate at the Pizza and Noodles which was delicious. We had a great stay.

« Great hotel just outside Sprindale entrance »

The hotel opened in January 2018 so everything is nice and new. Paul the GM is a super nice guy and very helpful. Views from the hotel are great and the breakfast is pretty good as well for a complimentary meal. The rooms are very spacious and ours has 2 TVs. The pullout for the kids was nice because it was new so the kids had no complaints. The pool is convenient and adequate size and the hot tub was nice after a long day of hiking. The showers were great - as a tall person who gets the low shower head in the chest treatment in many places - these are high up and you are able to enjoy a nice refreshing shower after some fun in Zion. The rooms are a little on the noisy side so we just ran the AC to drown out the noise from outside and next door. That was the only room and hotel negative. The young lady who worked the front counter was not as nice and welcoming as Paul. When we asked they turn the morning TV off the loud political shows playing in the eating area, she retorted, We put on what MOST people around here like. Mind you, it was our family and a nice couple in the eating area. A simple turn of the channel would have been appreciated. Zion is such a relaxing place, it would have been nice to escape the vitriol on the TV for breakfast. Definitely take advantage of the fire pits and eating area for some take out pizza. We would recommend this hotel.

« Great proximity to Zion »

We only stayed one night here but it was a very pleasant stay. The room still smells like new construction. The staff was friendly. The kids really enjoyed the pool area with hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was great with a lot of options and it was easy to just grab breakfast and get an early start into Zion and avoid the lines, particularly the shuttle line for the park. Recommended for those that want to be as close to the park as possible, without being in the park. :-)

« Gorgeous location; breakfast buffet a perfect example of wasteful practices »

Very close to Zion National Park, and view from hot tub is beautiful. Pool is private and not road-side, which is a plus. Very disappointed with the breakfast buffet. When you pay over $200 for a room and you have flimsy plastic forks and spoons and paper plates to eat your breakfast...the experience is cheapened. Food was typical of American hotels fruit, cereal, yogurt, omelette-style eggs (which were kind of plastic in texture) a waffle maker (this was good, but the "maple" syrup was high fructose corn syrup...gross!), juice, coffee, pastries, etc. The amount of cutlery and paper waste going into the garbage cans was too bad, especially after hiking in a national park. If I had known, I would have brought my own camping plates and steel cutlery from the car! Our room was directly above the parking lot, so we had no intention of enjoying the balcony overlooking everyone's cars. Also, because of this, we were not comfortable keeping the shades up to allow the natural light in. We kept the shades drawn for privacy but that meant the light was not as pleasant. Our room (#126) did not have central lighting, so we had to manually switch on and off all the lamps. The bathroom door was very heavy and would not prop open. This is annoying because if you want to go back and forth from bathroom to the main room to get changed, grab a towel, etc, you are always opening the door. Also, for ventilation, it is impractical. The room is marked wheel-chair accessible, and I can only imagine the annoyance of having mobility issues and not being able to keep the bathroom door open for better... mobility. Finally, one more design flaw: The fan in the bathroom is connected to the light, so if you leave your room but want to keep the fan running to prevent everything from staying damp in the bathroom (remember, you can't keep the heavy door propped open, no door stop), the light automatically stays on. Other than all this, the bed was comfortable and we slept soundly.

    « Convenient Location »

Close to park entrance, restaurants, and shopping. View from the hot tub was spectacular. New hotel so every thing was clean. Breakfast had eggs, meat, oatmeal, coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, yogurt, bagels.

« Great team and great location »

Checked into this hotel today. Had to modify last minute due to an error on our part, but the staff was incredibly accommodating in helping us. The manager came to greet us and was so nice. He provided great local tips and details about Zion. So welcoming and friendly. We interacted with at least 5 other employees here and everyone was absolutely wonderful. We are traveling with two little boys who make their presence known and everyone has been so sweet and patient with them. The pool area and view is awesome. The location is ideal for exploring Zion and the folks here are so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

« Best Western Plus Springdale, Utah »

Beautiful new hotel. Enjoyed the location and friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Too cold for the pool during our stay but the hot tub was nice. We had snow which make the mountains at Zion National Park even more beautiful.

« Very nice, clean, in great repair »

We were housed in bldg C, and initially were facing pool-side, but asked that we be moved to the other side (quieter) and this was done, no questions asked--nice. If we had been upstairs we would have had a nicer view. But, they asked and we chose downstairs (nice that they asked about that as well). Breakfast was nice, with hot pre-made omelette (eggs precooked and folded over plain so you could unfold, and add cheese, salsa, bacon bits and sausage/Canadian bacon, you can make your own waffle (almonds/choco chips, cinnamon powder, butter, syrup), almonds cinnamon and choco chips also provided for instant oatmeal, and other usuals such as bread/toaster, OJ, apple juice, tea, coffee, cereal/granola. Not bad. Probably would have put a 5 star if bed had been a bit more comfy; they did provide lots of pillows. Great options on satellite TV, bunch of HBOs, Cinemax, and other through DirectTV, but---couldn't get the Jazz game! :( Did use their Wifi for that on our computer. We apparently got a nice deal during relatively down season (March) at $130/night which was comparable for other hotels in La Verkin and much closer to the Zion Park. Otherwise appears to be around $240/night.

    « Brand New Hotel »

This hotel was located very close to the entrance to Zion National Park and was on the Main Street of Springdale, UT. It was very close to all the restaurants in that area. The hotel was opened just a month or two before our stay, and the landscaping and design of all the buildings was very attractive. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

« Best Western Zion Canyon Inn great views, new facility and reasonably priced. »

The views are spectacular throughout the grounds. Check in was fast and very friendly. All the staff we encountered tried to make our stay pleasant. The value was very reasonable. The road construction was the only negative which is scheduled to be completed in mid April 2018.

    « Lovely new hotel »

We stayed here on about the third week they were open. The hotel is very pretty and has a lovely view. The hot tub and pool area is outdoors and very nice. We really enjoyed taking a soak after a day of hiking. The breakfast was good and had many choices both hot and cold. The beds are very comfortable and the the rooms are very clean. I would definitely stay here again. This hotel is very near Zion National Park in the town of Springdale. There is no restaurant on property but there are many choices close by.

    « Fabulous Views! »

Definitely my new Favorite! The views are absolutely stunning, the staff was friendly and helpful, Breakfast bar awesome! Can't wait to book my next stay, these guys are definitely taking "The new guys on the block" seriously!

    « AMAZING GETAWAY!!!!! »

A magnificent view from a magnificent venue! The staff were all VERY friendly & helpful. Rooms are beautiful & comfortable. Breakfast was a wonderful variety of choices. There are excellent dining options close by and Zions is right there. Definitely a 5-STAR!!!

    « Beautiful New Motel »

Beautiful new motel in the heart of Springdale! Central to excellent dining and close to the gateway to Zion National Park. This motel offers new clean rooms, swimming pool, free continental breakfast and a friendly helpful staff. The perfect launch spot for your adventures in Zion and a great place to relax at the end of the day! Definitely recommend this motel if you're traveling to Zion National Park!

« The new kid on the block--but worth considering »

In some ways all the rooms face the beautiful Zion scenery. We really enjoyed the NEW of this hotel, from the perfect beds to the cleanest bathroom. Breakfast was a great spread and gets you ready to ride the Zion Shuttle or a a trip across the Tunnel. Being 'off season' also bring the most silent nights and low traffic on the amin street. We had a dual queen bed room. Large and well furnished.

    « Excellent »

This hotel is brand new and provides an excellent experience. We traveled during the off season but weekends were fully booked. The room was excellent as was the hot tub. The pool was open but not heated however, brr. My husband took a couple of quick dips any way to contrast the hot tub. The breakfast buffet was better than many places we've been and we use Best Western quite often. The service was excellent at the front desk and other places in the resort. The road construction in front of the hotel is nearly over after a solid year of one way traffic. Plan your visit any time after April 2018 and you should be all set.

« Great family hotel near Zion National Park. »

Spent the weekend here with my family on our trip to Zion. The staff were super friendly and check-in was a breeze. Rooms were clean and the outdoor fire pits were an instant hit with the kids. Breakfast was good, with many options to choose from. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Zion.

« Great Hotel Near Zion »

Love this Hotel Stay 5 nights in a king Suite. Had a great view of the Park. Breakfast is included it was a great way to start are day before a hike. It's a newer hotel and you cannot go wrong at all. Will be coming back for sure. 5 Stars for Service.

« Great views from every room »

This place had just opened up, so it was shiny and new. The staff was lovely. They really cared about you and helped find restaurants and things to do. The rooms were well outfitted and the views from them were amazing. They have several outdoor firepits as well as pool, fitness room etc. The daily breakfast was ample to get us through our hikes. They are super close to Zion National Park

    « Beautiful view »

The hotel sits right at the mouth of the canyon. From your balcony you look up and see the canyon walls. The breakfast was better than most Continentals and the outdoor fire pit was really fun. The hot tub was big enough did not feel crowded. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean. I had a great time. We also went to Oscars Cor dinner and enjoyed some great burgers.

« You found the one »

This place is a must stay when visiting Zion National Park. It is brand new and the rooms are so clean and spacious. The staff is overly friendly and willing to help with anything. The pool and spa are in the perfect location and you will want to spend your time there after a day of hiking. Look no further, this hotel was made for you and me!
