We had family that purchased a home in Lacombe. We are very pleased to have chosen Red Deer to stay and visit. Such an easy drive up the highway. So private and convenient to Restaurants and even a medical facility located right next door.

My six daughters and I landed at the hotel at 10:15pm. We snuck in a quick swim and raided the vending machine for yummy treats. Thank fully the machines take debit, so lack of change was not an issue. After a restful nights sleep, we proceeded to enjoy a delightful breakfast courtesy of the Best Western. While packing up, my 16 year old daughter asked to bring a load down to our vehicle. As soon as the elevator doors opened, my sole set of keys, fell out of her hand and plummeted down the elevator shaft through the tiny gap by the elevator opening. We were informed we would have to pay $150 to have the maintenance man retrieve the keys. This was upsetting information as our lovely $180.00 hotel stay was now nearing $400 for one night!!! I was upset but knew we had no other options. We felt lucky to be able to wait in the pool area and enjoy a swim during the wait on the retrieval of the keys. Around an hour later, the nice front desk lady, brought me my keys that had obviously been though a rough ride and proceeded to tell me the General Manager said she did not have to charge me the $150.00. I am very grateful and my daughters and I look forward to our next stay at the wonderful Best Western! Thank you!!

We were in Blackfalds for our daughter's softball tournament. The hotel was Clean, Comfortable, friendly and reasonably priced. The front desk staff were efficient and helpful. We started too early for the complimentary breakfast so they provided "grab and go" bags to accomodate us.

Horrible experience with parents in laws and birthday our daughter. Staff change our schedule and they kept saying we didn't change and they charged already two rooms. I booked two rooms . I showed confirm email . But, still arguing. See we are coming today! And NO rooms.

I'm very sorry you had such a disappointing stay with us. I have investigated what transpired with your reservation and unfortunately there was a miscommunication between Best Western and our PMS system. I have refunded the charges for the rooms that were charged in error and also discounted your rooms that you did use. I again apologize for the situation that transpired.

Did not feel that the value matched what felt like a premium price charged for the room. Guest room felt dated and is showing a lot of wear and tear. Bathroom was small and cramped with no fan for ventilation.

We stayed at this Best Western for one Saturday evening and we really enjoyed our stay! Our party was 5 adults (all family members) and we rented a King Suite (1 King bed with 2 singles) and then an additional King room. The hotel online check in process was super easy and when I received a text confirmation, I was able to text them back a request that our 2 rooms be closer together. They responded very quickly, and were able to accommodate our request, which was appreciated. Once we arrived at the hotel around 4pm on Saturday, the 2 front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby entrance was bright, clean and welcoming. Our King Suite (Family suite) was clean, comfortable and spacious. The mattresses were softer than normal, but still quite comfortable and we all slept well. There was a couch, a comfortable lounge chair and a desk chair in the room, so we could all visit in the one room. The only minor issues with the room is that there is only one small bathroom. It would have been helpful to have an additional sink or toilet in the other bedroom area. And for mirrors, there was only one additional long mirror just outside of the washroom and no mirror in the 2nd bedroom. That would have been helpful too. The other King room we had booked had a living room area as well, and it had a little kitchenette which was nice! It had a 2 burner hot plate, sink, dishes and a mini fridge. Definitely a great option if you're staying there longer than a few days. There was a full dance troupe and hockey team also staying at the hotel that weekend (and my goodness they were LOUD!) and no manners. The front desk staff had to quiet them down around 11pm because they were running down the halls like a stampede of elephants. We didn't get to try the hot breakfast because the teams had eaten everything by the time we checked out that area around 9am. There was very little cereal left, no pastries, and the dining area was kind of dirty. But that's expected when you have that many kids left to do their own thing. The staff couldn't keep up with the demand for sure. It would have been nice to try the breakfast as it looked like they would have had a great selection. Overall, we would definitely stay at this Best Western again!

Good breakfast, awesome staff, super clean room. Great value for your money! Would recommend especially if you have kids, pets and/or are looking for a jacuzzi in your room! The pool was good for the kids!

They were super accommodating of my dog and changing how many we were bringing and not bringing. Also we asked for a late checkout and they were super easy about it. Just said no problem. Pool was warm and clean and breakfast was hot and ready and easily accessible. Would recommend.

I was on my way down to the hotel and there was a staff member who was really stressed for whatever reason. She complained to me and another guest and in while she was complaining she dropped a few F bombs. Other than her, my stay was great.

Great place to stay, staff went above and beyond, breakfast was great and readily available, would 100% stay here again! Nice size hot tub and hours were great for a family trip so that we could enjoy the city and return for a dip and relax the body.

Always a pleasant stay. Staff is wonderful ... and not just cheerful and helpful, but go out of their way to accommodate requests. Beds are comfy, and kitchenette suits are very suitable for extended stays. Full kitchen unit is a studio suite, and kitchen is fully equipped!

Good Breakfast ( sausage, eggs, cinnamon bun, pancake machine, bananas, apples ) WIFI always worked no limit on number of devices. no spam to pay $ 9 for better internet, all staff very friendly, place was clean. pool open till 11pm was nice as well. Railroad near by which didn't bother me but did bother my wife. LOL

The hotel was very accommodating & provided excellent customer service. The ladies at the front desk were fantastic. Best customer service I have had in a long time. Only issue was the pool was a tad small & the bottom was rough - so some kids had scrapes on the bottom of their feet.

Had very relaxing 1 night getaway to Red Deer, Alberta! The nearby casino was a total bust, so it was nice to come back to our hotel room for a soothing dip in the hot tub of the uncrowded pool area. The breakfast the next morning was definitely appreciated!

I travel alone because my husband is not interested and, when I'm in Red Deer, I always stay at this Best Western because everything works and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. My husband worked internationally for years and stayed in the 'best" hotels. Having seen a lot of them, he rates a "great" hotel as one that is quiet, has a good shower and bathroom fan, and everything works as it should. When I add the overall service and friendliness of this hotel, for me it rates as a great hotel.

Got an excellent rate on a suite and enjoyed a nice quiet stay in spite of the hotel being quite busy overall. Friendly front desk staff and the breakfast room was unusually clean and cared for, unlike some similar hotels we've stayed. Would recommend for sure.

Staff and food great. Shower had no pressure or it straight up needed to be changed or cleaned Noth sure which. Just really sucked we had to wait till the next hotel to shower everything else was fine

Loved the suite with a separate room for the kids, rooms are clean, comfortable beds, good location, amazing restaurants within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. Gym was great too, not dingy like some hotels. Parking was easy. I'd definitely stay again.

My first hotel experience in years! Awesome staff and easy check in. There were multiple events in the city and the hotel was BUSY, but staff were awesome and the breakfast bar was plentiful! The entire team was great with my dog. They provided poop bags and dog bowls. There is a decent stretch of grass to walk your pooch right by the hotel. Gotta love pet friendly!

We reserved two nights at this Best Western to attend a funeral. The front desk clerk, I believe her name is Amanda, was very helpful & sympathetic. We arrived before check-in time & were allowed to check in early for which we were grateful as we wanted to get changed & ready to go to meet the family. I asked the following morning if we could extend our stay by a day to spend more time with our friend who had just lost his wife. The front desk clerk, Amanda, extended our stay without question. Room was clean & comfortable, breakfast was fine, internet worked well but it was really the caring attention of the front desk clerk that enhanced our three night stay at this difficult time. Great place to stay however the City of Red Deer has more traffic Circles than Paris with no signage to where most Hotels are located from Highway 2 or Highway 11. The hotel managers should get together and have the city install signage to this area. Otherwise it could take more time to get here.

Great location, very clean hotel. Amazing service from reception and kitchen staff. Excellent breakfast, a variety of options to choose from, cereals, oats, muffins, yoghurts, sausages, different egg options etc. Breakfast was refilled constantly. There seemed to be options for everyone. There were fruits too. I love Best western hotels. I will continue to stay at Best western whenever I travel.

Our stay at the Red Deer Best Western was very relaxing, and we definitely enjoyed the air conditioning in this extreme heat wave! The service was excellent, as were all the staff! There are many restaurants in the area, and it is right next to the main highway. We will definitely return!

We attended a football camp and as such pretty tired end of day. We are fans of Best Western and can always count on a good stay. This round with the hot temperatures the A/C proved to be working a bit of overtime and frankly the "old" window air model we had was a bit noisy . . . but being tired it was OK. Folks at the front desk outstanding. Room and facilities terrific.

My experience was friendly staff, who made my visit easy and uncomplicated. clean comfortable room . While I didn't have the complimentary breakfast. I appreciate that it was there if I wanted it. Hotel has a swimming pool and a hot tub to rest your weary bones after a day of travel. Location was easy to find and close to get back onto highway 2 again without being close to the hiway. Found everything quiet

We had a wedding early July in Red Deer and all our family stayed for a couple nights plus a lot of friends stayed the night of the wedding. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond allowing our family early check in to get to the wedding on time and even a late check out for some of the guests the day after. They were short staffed because it was the first weekend after Covid restrictions were lifted and everyone working there did an amazing job from rooms to breakfast.

Great hotel. The staff was amazing, so kind to us and very accommodating. We had a large wedding party and they were able to make us very comfortable. There was a leak from our AC and they moved us right away without even a thought. I needed a sewing kit and one of the staff came back with a few knowing we might need it for the wedding. Amazing and would recommend!

This particular best western has some of the politest and most helpful staff in the industry. This must be a well run location. Always clean and a convenient location. Considering the breakfast bat is closed for Covid, the food is pretty decent for a grab and go.

Worth staying here for the staff alone. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, and they all come across as sincere in ensuring you have an enjoyable stay. The hotel is conveniently located just off the highway, but is out of the way enough that there is zero traffic noise. Many hotels that offer breakfast seem to use Coronavirus as an excuse to save a few bucks by providing nothing more than a toke "breakfast". The breakfast here is substantial, with several options that will keep you going for a few hours. Hands down the best hotel breakfast I have had since coronavirus restrictions began. Awesome place to stay in Red Deer!

Always polite and respectful, clean and quiet. The "Best Western" Breakfast has expectantly taken a hit recently. No ATM and Laundry takes quarters and loonies. The coffee maker in my last room didn't work, but they usually do.

Overall the hotel is great. Nice quiet area with restaurants close by and easy access to and from the hotel. The internet kept dropping at different times but wasn't a major issue. The only thing lacking in the morning was the breakfast. Yes the selection is limited due to COVID but having the option of a pre boxed cereal would be nice to have as well as more than just apples for fruit. Otherwise it was as expected during these times.

We stayed two nights at the Best Western in Red Deer. Social-distancing & masks are mandatory at the hotel. Our room was quiet & clean, the bed extremely comfortable. The Grab ‘n Go Breakfast is a great option during the pandemic. The breakfast was delicious! Well done!

They let refer trucks park in car parking very close to the building making for a noisy night 7 pm to 7 am. Its like sleeping at a truckstop. Took three time up the elevator trying to get key card to work. After a long days driving that was very frustrating, didn't seem the receptionist at all.

Price was great, very Covid friendly, we got a free upgrade before arrival, which was great as we stayed for 3 nights, even though it was next to highway, never heard traffic. Great hotel for a pet. Restaurants in area

Reception desk staff were wonderful ... cheerful and accommodating. The breakfast cafe was cozy, and the breakfast items were available all day, not just for a few hours in the morning. Because of Covid-19 restrictions, food was limited to grab and go, but the selection was pretty good ... muffins, scones, fresh fruit, yogurts and even egg burritos. That was a nice surprise. Guest room was spacious, clean and bed was very comfy. Wish we could have stayed another night.

We had a great stay at this BW hotel. We love the beds and service we get at the Beat Western hotels. The breakfast is a nice bonus. You couldn't ask for more from the front desk staff everyone was extremely friendly. The hotel was also nice and quiet at night which was grand. Spacious without being enormous. We stayed in a two bedroom suite for three nights and it was a very relaxing stay. Highly recommend.

Clean and comfortable. Traveled with a junior high cheer team and had a wonderful stay. They loved the pool and breakfast. Rooms were generous sized and beds were comfy. Easy check in and check out with great rates.

We were in the area for a Youth bowling tournament.Very enjoyable experience. Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and the staff handled our check-in and check-out in a very pleasant and efficient manner. We have stayed at Best Western in other places and have always freceived the same excellent service.

The staff was very helpful, I forgot a few items and there were able to supply them, especially the extension cord when it was -30C. The breakfast had a good variety, the beds were very comfortable. I really liked that the remote was cleaned and repackaged for the next guest.

Decent value for money. Good location. Fast internet. The only issue was the overall lighting in the room. Its inadequate. But all in all a fair value hotel. Also the airconditioning unit was very noisy. Maybe it I was just unlucky to get this one.

We always enjoy staying at this hotel because they treat us well and have no problem that we travel with our service dog. Andrea looked after us because we required an early checkin and was always very pleasantg all weekend when she was on the desk.Thanks for your great hospitality.

If I can't stay here I'm not staying at all. This is the only hotel that I will stay at in Red Deer. The location is perfect the green space is wonderful for my dogs and yes they are dog friendly. The staff is amazing and the hotel is exactly what I need.

The hotel was very clean and cozy. The front desk team was very friendly. The hotel is located in the North industrial side of Red Deer, this made it great for my business trip. Plenty of near by food and drink locations.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. My diamond status was recognized before we arrived and they upgraded our room without us asking. What an amazing treat after a long day stressful day and flight. We fully enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace to help us relax. Highly recommend this hotel!!!

Overnight in Red Deer We needed to have a quick night in Red Deer to go to a concert. We love Best Western because they are a pet friendly hotel. The suite was clean, relaxing & just what we wanted. The breakfast was great. The staff were friendly.

Poor. Noisy at night when one is to be getting sleep. Awful! KIds screaming and running the hallways at night should be addressed by the staff. I should not have to tolerate this until i gat angry and have to phone to the front desk. Even then it did not stop for over half an hour!

My wife & I have stayed at this hotel many times for both business and weekend getaways and we have always enjoyed very good service and a clean & welcoming facility. I had also stayed here monthly for business over a period of 7 or 8 years and had always been satisfied with the quality of the staff and facility. This latest stay was equally satisfying.

Friendly, helpful staff! Reasonable room rates. Hotel is clean with comfortable beds. Wifi is included. The continental breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. There are restaurants within walking distance. Enjoyed are stay!!

As always a very pleasant and covenient stay. Very curtious and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast hot or cold. (I do wish they had Marmalade). Lighting in the rooms is less than ideal but I have not been in many hotels where it is.

Excellent stay at this hotel, easy check in and friendly staff. We requested a pet room and were placed in a room close to the door so we could access it with our dog. Location of the hotel was perfect, quick in and out of the area.

We stayed in the handicapped room at the Best Western Red Deer. The amenities in the bathroom were excellent but the bed was NOT up to Best Western Standard. We do not require anything special about a mattress just normal back support and prefer to be able to stand up straight when we get up!! This mattress felt like it was filled with very soft CHIP FOAM like a cheap pillow. We stay at about 25 Best Westerns every year and have never had such a soft, poor or wore out mattress. I can assure you we will not be back to this hotel again. There are several hotels nearby and we will be staying at one of them on our next trip.

I stayed at the Best Western one weekend for a conference, the overall experience was fantastic. My only concern was the lack of seating during breakfast. Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of tables, however too many bodies that weekend had filled them. My room was nice and large with a king size bed, perfect for my needs.

Our room was absolutely clean, comfortable beds, and very quiet. The hot tub was nice and hot and the pool was refreshing. Didn't use the exercise room due to us only being there for one night but will next time. The staff is fabulous, considerate and caring. Will definitely be going back again!!

Very comfortable rooms and the staff are truly amazing. They make you feel like family and do what they can to make the stay comfortable. Located right next to the highway as well as a 24 hr gas station so you really don't need to go far to find what you need.

I always stay at the Best Western in Red Deer it's the only place for me. It's a convenient location of fantastic hotel and the staff are amazing. But the most important thing to me is they allow me to bring my fur babies along and that's very important to me because with having to go to meetings and things and being able to go back to the hotel and look after my puppies it's very important to me that I can have a safe place for them where I know that they'll be okay.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Red Deer on a spur of the moment trip. We had 4 kids and 2 adults. We were expecting so squish in to two queen or king size beds but much to our surprise it was a room with a king, a sofa bed and a separate room with two singles. It was much more than we expected and the price was extremely reasonable. I saw that it was rated 2 starts on hotels.com but that is so not true... we've been to much worse 3 star hotels. This one was clean, the staff very friendly and our kids enjoyed the pool!

Stayed in Red Deer over the August long weekend as the Best Western in Sylvan Lake wad booked. Red Deer hotel was about 15 mins from Sylvan. Breakfast was fine and despite being near the highway the hotel was quiet.

We recently stayed here with a group of 44 people who were mostly all children and youth. The family suites are amazing with a separate room. Everything is modern and immaculate and no noise. The breakfast was delicious and there is a Tim Hortons and restaurant within walking distance.

Best Hotel you can stay at while in Red Deer. Entire Hotel Staff are so friendly and helpful right from Front desk, Housekeeping to the breakfast ladies. Hotel manager is always there and willing to answer any questions. Rooms are very clean and the entire property is maintained well.

Very good stay for one of our nights on our girls' road trip thru several cities to look for a dress for her son's wedding. Check in was easy, room comfortable, breakfast great. The hallways were a little chilly with the air conditioning on full all the time but rooms were easy to control temperature so all good.

We had a wonderful 3 day stay here. The room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. In particular, the front desk staff member, Renee, had great customer service skills. As well, when I asked for change to do laundry, I was given a voucher to make up the right change, and a small bag with detergent and a dryer sheet. That was a simple thing, but above and beyond what other hotels have provided in the past. I really appreciated it. Also, there were teams and children there the weekend we stayed and I didn't experience any problems. The pool and hot tub were great and had hours that meant we could really make use of them!

the staff are very frendly and help full. the lobby is clean and very tidy the front entrance to the hotel is clean nice flowers beds. The room are clean the bed are comfortable lots of pillows to choose from. The one thing that bugs my are the sports team that stay there the parents let they kids run around up an down the halls. I was talking to the staff about this and some of the parents will yell at the staff if they say something to there kids and they complain if they don't get there own way I have read some of the bad reviews from them and I personally feel it is not fair to the hotel as I have been staying here for 3 years.

Great location and easy to get off highway 2. Then Taylor Drive will take you to south Red Deer or college. Excellent staff, large rooms and near some good restaurants. Busy hotel but staff are efficient and will meet your needs.

Great weekend for TOPS PRD. Great service. Staying here again next year! Would have liked more towels as women sharing need lots! Breakfast was plentiful and - although I don't know if we were supposed to - was able to grab a yogurt and some cereal in the evening.

Very clean and well maintained venue,beds are very comfortable,pool and hot tub is well maintained.we had an issue with an extremely loud vent 2 doors down from our room which was super noisy which wasn't dealt with during our stay.good value for the price that we paid,they even honoured the group rate for the event that we were there for..other than the issue with the noisy vent I would suggest staying st this hotel.

I booked a "2 bedroom" suite for 6 nights. In my mind a 2 bedroom is one bedroom with a bed and the second bedroom with a bed, both bedrooms with a door. That is not the case. One bedroom has a door with 2 twin beds. The other area is a king bed with a pull out couch and small common area in the same space. The hotel technically did not lie but I felt deceived and so did my other friend who checked in the same day for the same amount of time (6 night atay) as I made the recommendation. Aside from that the price is decent, breakfast is super. Our room did not get cleaned yesterday but I know the hotel is full capacity. The disappointing part is that I have family coming to stay at different times and we will be a tad uncomfortable. When I called the front desk, they understood my concern however they were not able to do anything for me other that give me 2 queen rooms at double the price I am paying. If I had of known I would have booked a VRBO house.

the hotel is good the rooms great at bit off the beaten track for shopping in red deer the only thing that spoiled it was the kids soccer team staying there running all over the place some were staying in the room above us and it was like thunder with them running in room above just make sure when you book to make sure there is kids teams staying there the breakfast was good

Nice clean spacious rooms. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. There were several egg options, three types of breads, cereal, etc. There were also gluten free options.

I always stay at BW Hotels due to their cleanliness and reasonable pricing. I have stayed in Red Deer a few times and every time feel they are so overpriced. This time was no exception. After we checked in we realized they had hockey teams staying in the hotel which made for a noisy hotel. Understandable as they are away having a good time and good for them. Love seeing the kids having fun playing mini sticks in the hallway and the parents having a good time. My complaint is when I booked I would have appreciated being told so I could decide whether to stay or choice to go elsewhere. People traveling need to be able to get their rest in order to drive the next day. The breakfast was nothing special in a very small room. I have stayed in many Best Westerns all as nice for a lot less money....

This hotel has some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered in my travels all over the world. They take pride in their work and their facility and it shows. Unfortunately, Room 117 is down the hall from the back exit off the stairs. Patrons can enter the hotel with their key cards. This makes the walkway outside the door an ideal location for smokers. Each morning I have endured the stench of cigarettes and/or marijuana seeping down the hall or being pulled back through the ventilation, I'm not sure which. A most unfortunate way to start the day in an otherwise great hotel.

I was having a not so great day, When i arrived in the early evening the young lady at check-in was awesome and made me feel like i was coming into my own house, cracked a joke and made me smile and realize that it was not that bad. I had an awesome stay. then when checking out the young lady made me feel good and made me wonder if I should even go...lol. These two young ladies are keepers.

Well kept, friendly staff,laundry is cheap. Breakfast is alright. The pool is not bad. Has a hot tub after a long day. If they used real eggs instead of the quick eggs in the morning that would be cool.

Newer clean hotel. Large room. Very reasonably priced. Weather very cold on our arrival to hotel -25 plus windchill. Offered us a cord to plug in our rental vehicle. Front desk staff very helpful and pleasant. Bowl of fresh fruit available throughout the day. Coffeemaker ,fridge and microwave in room. Offered extra coffee . Had coffee available in dining area all day. Good breakfast with sausages ham omelettes or scrambled eggs as well as cereals pancakes , muffins toast bagels and hot oatmeal. As well as many toppings and yogurt and juice. Even had almond milk available. Easy access from highway. Quiet.

I've stayed at this Best Western many times It Feels Like Home. The staff are amazing. The hotel is in a great location for me easy to get to everything. I travel on business and I even can bring my dogs to this hotel they're very dog friendly. If I can't stay at this hotel when I travel to reddeer I don't go to Red Deer. I would just as soon wait until I can get into the Best Western I'm a loyal Best Western client and I will remain that way.

The location worked well for us with easy access to the QE and to downtown via Taylor. The facility is new with all the usual upgraded amenities including Kerig coffee and those lovely duvets. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Being a Best Western points member we chose to stay at this hotel on our overnight stay in Red Deer. The rate was excellent for the class of hotel. The desk clerk on duty offered to upgrade our room to a King suite with a Jacuzzi. Very nice large room.

We spent the night, comfortable bed, nice layout. Location is handy to the hiway so you can access both north and south Red Deer real easy. The only concern was cooling the room dow as it was very warm all night. We will stay there again.

Stayed here with our ringette team. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was fantastic.Girls enjoyed the pool, breakfast was pretty good with scrambled eggs and sausage or ham. Automatic pancake maker was great to use. Fresh fruit in lobby was a nice touch.

If you don't know where to book in red deer, book this place! The rooms are great. The beds are so comfy and the room is very clean. The breakfast is good. The staff are beyond pleasant. You will not regret this hotel. I hope to be back here. I'll book the exact same room. Also this hotel is exactly 9 mins driving from every other place in town. I know this because every place I went out to, or for dinner was a 7-9 minute drive.

We had a gift card for $100 and the could not accept it. It was a gift from our family but because it was purchased through a 3rd party and not directly from Best Western they disabled (expired) the card. Even though there is NO expiry date on the card. I thought this was against the law. They already have their money.

Great hotel with super staff! The person at the front desk gave us a no charge upgrade to a family suite which was a really nice touch. The breakfast was really good and the staff member working the area was really friendly and gave great service. Definitely will stay here next time we travel to Red Deer.

Good location close to restaurants, shopping and easy access to the highway. The staff was extremely helpful when needed and were very engaging. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. I spent 4 months at this hotel and the staff work very hard to accommodate their guests. The housekeeping staff are personable and hard working individuals. I booked here for a hockey tournament in nearby Sylvan Lake. When booking I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with the GM,Dawn, what a nice lady. Upon checking in I was recognized for my rewards membership and offered an upgrade!! Kids were treated with candy canes and cookies, even as teenagers they loved it! Breakfast was beautifully displayed, hot and tasty. Hot offerings were different on both days. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and professional. Room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely will book here again!! A job well done to this hotel team.

We stayed in the jacuzzi suite. It was nice big space except it was broken and the pool was extremely cold and the hot tub was extremely hot. The bathroom was very small. It was very loud in hallway. Was only one elevator. And I found it very rude that the front desk doesn't stand up when checking you in or out. Wouldn't stay again wasn't worth the money.

This hotel is truly amazing. The wonderful management and fantastic staff are absolutely outstanding! They always go way over and above and make you feel like family. The hotel is spotless in every area. The rooms are spacious, modern and very comfortable. As Diamond Select members we stay at several Best Westerns and this hotel exceeds expectations in every area. Absurdly easy to access of the #2, #11 highways, and a few blocks west of Taylor drive, the hotel is amazingly quiet. Pool and hot tub spotlessly clean, VERY satisfying breakfast with excellent variety included with the room. In-room safe for your valuables. Staff friendly and helpful. Now my hotel of choice in Red Deer!

Clean kind and a great Lakeview. For such a reasonable price you really Can't ask for more! Location is best for walking the whole Pier and downtown area. Love the fresh complimentary breakfast as well.

A very good stay! We were booked here for a conference at the Red Deer College. Reasonable access to that facility. BW was a good choice for accomodation, great staff, good rooms. Overall a posistive experience!

I stayed here for one night while attending a conference in Red Deer. This has been the best hotel I have stayed at in Red Deer. I usually come for overnight stays in Red Deer at least 8 times a year for meetings. Rooms a spacious and pristine with all amenities. All staff that I encountered were terribly friendly and courteous. They have an awesome continental breakfast which has just about everything one needs. hot food was great. Access to Highway 2 is right there which save a host of time if you are travelling. Reasonably priced as well. Good job Best Western on this one

We made a last minute booking for two nights in a jacuzzi suite. I didn't think the hotel would be able to accommodate our two dogs in a jacuzzi room but they made it work. Our stay was fabtastic. We will be back again. We had a much better experience here than at two of the other hotel chains this trip. The pool was clean and a good temperature as was the hot tub. The fire place in the room worked well. The staff appeared to happily accommodate our request for a later cleaning time. Definitely recommend.

We enjoyed a nice night at the hotel after completing the 6km Mud Hero obstacle course race at Canyon Sky Hill. It was a great location close to restaurants, liquor stores and a great spa we went to for a massage. The rooms are nice, the staff friendly, the hotel was clean. We were disappointed that there were no corkscrews available - we had to go back to the liquor store which was quite inconvenient. Also, we were really looking forward to sitting in the hot tub and relaxing, but it is very small and at 10:10 pm it was full of kids, so no hot tub for us. The breakfast was good, I loved the little cups with cheese, salsa and green onions - allowed you to doctor up your eggs a little. Nice and fresh.

Last summer we stayed here 1 one night on our travels and loved the family suite so much, this summer we decided to make it part of our summer vacation. We stayed 2 nights this time, all the staff we encountered were very friendly, we checked out the complimentary breakfast and enjoyed the pool and hot tub both nights. The family suite is spacious, clean, 3 beds are perfect when travelling with teenagers, and these beds were the most comfortable of all our hotel stays on this vacation. I think stopping in Red Deer and staying at this hotel might end up being a permanent part of our summer vacations.

While in Red Deer, my husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western. During check in and check out, all the the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoyed having a hot breakfast, not rushed at all. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I have stayed at this Best Western before, and chose to stay again because of my previous experience. Staff here are friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean to detail. and a choice of pillows from firm to soft to choose from. Breakfast was a hot meal and the kitchen staff were efficient at keeping food well supplied, and tables were cleaned off immediately. They even came around with coffee pot and asked if you wanted more coffee. Outside was clean, with lots of parking, with a Tim's and a restaurant very close by. Stay here again in the future, that's an absolute yes. Easy to get to from Highway 2.

Good sized room with excellent amenities. Hotel provides a breakfast as part of the deal by way of a buffet which just adds to the overall satisfaction of staying here. The hotel is easily accessed off Alberta HWY 2, though nearby restaurants are few. Definitely a recommendable stop-over.

We have stayed here years ago and it was very go then. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming, The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and clean. Did not have breakfast,but had coffee and the breakfast looked pretty good. There is some green space around the hotel to walk the dog. you will note I always include the dog.with that being said our room was on the first just down from housekeeping so it was a little noisy in the morning. This was the only little draw back from a very nice stay. Will definitely stay here again

This was a typical best western -clean, continental breakfast (with lots of variety), and good value. My one disappointment is that I was on the fourth floor and the wifi didn't work there for me. It showed signal strength on 4th floor, but no connection. When I went to the first floor, it started working (without my intervention), but I wanted to use wifi in the room. Maybe stay on a lower floor?

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient and the woman working the buffet breakfast in the morning was excellent. Our hotel room was clean, even the bathtub. (Which some hotels barely clean.) The bathtub in our room was SPARKLING. Hooray! The bed was also very good, and the Wifi was good, too. It has a convenient location, just off the highway, and our drive to the Westerner Convention Centre was fast. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we're in Red Deer.

This hotel is a simple, basic hotel but it is clean, great comfortable beds, plentiful hot breakfast buffet with friendly, hard working staff. I was on the main floor during a volleyball tournament and was not disturbed by noise. This hotel is definitely worth the money you pay. Great value!

Management and staff are exceptional. Above and beyond customer service. Rooms are very clean and well decorated. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast is always fresh and tasty. Location is very convenient, just off of Highway 2. Truly our favourite hotel!

My partner and I stayed there this past family day long weekend. (Feb 17-19, 2018) He was equally unimpressed. The property itself, the rooms and the structure was very well cared for. Clearly, the maintenance staff care about the guests. However, the daily-use common areas were not kept clean or even safe. When I asked the front desk to address this issue their behavior does not bear repeating - except to say that if it didn't involve their cell phones or the computer keyboard the front desk staff were completely unwilling to bother themselves. The housekeeping staff barely provided the minimum I would expect at a one star establishment. They would make snide quiet comments in their own language - unfortunately for them it is also the language of my family, so I clearly understood every disrespectful utterance. The guest abuse and chaos continued in the morning breakfast room. The management is clearly asleep at the wheel. There was an abundance of staff but no one was willing to provide any service. If the management does not soon provide the staff with basic training on hospitality and core politeness I suspect this hotel will not maintain it's rating for long. Unfortunately, for this chain I am a North American manager at my employment and I will take steps to make sure that my valued staff are not exposed to this sort of treatment.

Great hotel with exceptional staff who are friendly, helpful, and always prepared to make your day with a smile and positive comments. Great location close to many amenities and also close to the major hiway in Alberta. Even when your room faces the guest you never hear the noise associated with traffic!

Stayed here twice now on business. Attentive, friendly staff. Very welcoming feeling. Comfortable bed and nice breakfast location. Rates are pretty good for this area and location is close to major roads and restaurants.

One of the very good properties in Red Deer. I was used to staying at Leva Avenue hotels but this time I made an exception and did not regret it at all. Nice place in a quiet location in the heart of city. Excellent staff smiling check in and check out. Clean rooms. Although breakfast could be improved, no options for a vegetarian guest. In all would recommend this hotel for business or personal travel.

I've always been a fan of all BW locations. Had a bit of a slow check-in experience because the sole person working at front desk got caught up in pool servicing. The room was a bit musty but very clean. I habitually check mattresses for bed bugs and they were nearly spotless, which was a relief. Breakfast service was amazing - the selection was fabulous with non-dairy (almond) milk and gluten-free options. Everything from omelettes to oatmeal, I was impressed with the variety offered.

Awesome staff :) The woman at the front desk was super friendly, and great with the kids; I would stay again just because of that! The rooms were nice and clean, and the housekeeping ladies were kind. Breakfast busy, but it was good; staff were really good at keeping up on everything. Pool was fine, and same with hot tub. Overall good stay.

Lots of parking space. Close to QEII (also known as highway 2) for travellers. Convenient in the corner of Red Deer so whole city is available. Transit just a block away if needed. Tim Hortons also just a block away if that's important to you. Pool and hot tub included. Hot breakfast in mornings.

Well we were in Red deer again for the annula fall dog show and our hotel of choice was the Best Western. They have great staff, great rooms and they treat us like family. the grandkids came for a visit and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub amenities as well as the spacious guest rooms allowed us to visit without being cramped.

This motel was chosen for its proximity to Red Deer College. It is on a busy main street, but the room was quiet & not much traffic noise. It is across the street from Bower Mall, a MacDonalds & Wendy's restaurants. Breakfast is included which is very helpful.

we can appreciate how hard the staff of each hotel are trying to help, we found the front desk staff are usually exceptional, the breakfast menus are good, staff again very pleasant, keep up the good work, it pays off to recognize how important the travelors are.

Would choose this hotel again! Awesome service and a nice hot breakfast! Rooms are very clean and loved the fact that they offered a pet-friendly room! Overall it was a great experience! Also a really good location...close to everything and close to highway.

I used to stay here regularly on business for 7 or 8 years and was always impressed with the quality of the hotel staff. This visit was no different and in some ways it felt like a homecoming after not having had stayed here for more than a year. The staff have always worked hard to make my stay pleasant and thus I did not hesitate to take my wife here on a weekend getaway. It was another pleasant stay at a very nice facility with exceptional staff.

Great place, great service and superior staff. The location is excellent as it is right beside exit to Calgary and the place is quiet as well as friendly. The rooms give you great sleep and I am sure to book this place again and make it my regular stop over.

well, the price is right for sure. in a great spot beside the highway with a few restaurant options withing a two or three minute drive. Disappointed that I got the absolute worst room in the hotel - second floor directly over the lobby in front of the elevator. I heard every guest arrive and didn't get a view from the window - it looked directly at the stucco'd rear of the portico over the front door. My wife reported that the breakfast was good. easy to park. very pleasant staff.

I am so sorry that your experience with us wasn't top-notch. It is definitely unfortunate that a very few select rooms are not the most ideal, with restricted views and / or near an elevator.

You cannot go wrong with staying here. The place is very clean, breakfast is great, pool is small but it is a pool and has a hot tub with a exercise room. Very good for what you pay and what you get. They are constantly cleaning and keeping the place nice. Extra kudos for the breakfast room staff, they are outstanding!

Very friendly staff. Building seems to be very new, and is well maintained. Comfy room. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but looked quite good. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on!

As always, the best hotel in Red Deer!! Fantastic staff, well kept up property and very comfortable rooms. Whenever I'm passing through Red Deer, if it makes sense in my schedule, I make a point of staying here. It's always a great experience, both people-wise and facility wise.

Staff here is fantastic, wish they would have allowed a cot in the room that was very disappointing. Especially since we requested one on the booking but were not informed there would not be one until we checked in.

Location is convenient although a bit of construction on access road on September. Beds are very comfortable and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Had a nice hot breakfast. Would recommend as a inviting and comfortable stay.

We got a great deal on a king room suite. It was spacious with a sofa bed & chair with room to spread out. There was a coffee machine & mini frigde which was great to keep drinks cool. It was clean and kept that way during our 3 night stay. It was not far off QE2 so very convenient going from there to Ponoka for their stampede. Despite to proximity to the railway & highway it was very quiet and did not hear any outside noise. They have a nice breakfast nook with the usual Best Western breakfast, which was satisfying to get you going in the morning. Also close to Tim Hortons and Macdonalds if late night snacks needed.

Clean guestrooms, pet friendly, friendly staff and professionally dressed staff. Shower has bulk shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Lots of food delivery options close to hotel. Good cable TV service. Stayed here for one night after a camping trip to have a comfy bed and hot shower and to relax before heading home. Would stay again.

We decided to stop in Red Deer on our travels and chose this hotel, at first I thought it was a King bed, twin bed and a pullout couch but we got a family suite that had a bedroom with 2 twins and the King and couch in a separate room. This is such a great setup when you're travelling with older kids. Even though it was a little dated, it was very clean and all 3 beds were super comfortable. There was even a small jetted tub in the bathroom. Travis at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. There was a spacious parking lot that was really convenient since we were towing a boat. The beds were so comfy we slept in and didn't make it to breakfast. I wish more hotels had these kinds of rooms available, it will definitely be a stopover point on our travels in the future.

My wife and I made a trip to Red Deer for a Scent Detection Competition with our dog. We stayed here in April and definitely wanted to stay here again on this trip. The staff are very pleasant and the king room we always ask for was great. We plan to stay here on any future trip we make to Red Deer. Thanks for doing such a great job of making our stays so pleasant.

We stayed for one night in a room with 2 queen beds. The hotel has ample parking spaces available. The front desk area is clean with modern/tasteful decor. They have newspapers and fresh fruit as well as comfortable couches in the main lobby for the guests. We enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub: both clean and well-cared for. We didn't use the exercise room but we could see it through the pool windows and it looked decent. Thumbs up for the pillow-top beds! We had a wonderful sleep. The air conditioning worked well and the bathroom facilities were up to date and functional. Having the single-pod coffee maker in our room for the morning as we packed was also very convenient! We were happy with the quality of the hot breakfast and the variety of items offered. Thank you to the cooks for the yummy cheese omelets: really tasty! The breakfast room had enough space for everyone dining at the time we were there. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and genuinely warm and welcoming. We plan on staying here again when we need a hotel in Red Deer.

Another great hotel with the Best Western family. Clean new and modern hotel which was nice. Great suites and amazingly friendly staff. Pool was decent and hot tub was ok. Kids were running around free but it was a weekend. The breakfast was decent but I hope they get the coffee machine fixed. Waiting on a keurig was not overly good but hey it is what it is. Will stay here again

very clean and up-to-date just need to be a trapeze artist to navigate the bathroom door opens and stops in front of toilet need to squish in to close door to shower or use the toilet. breakfast staff were great nice and friendly . wide selection of goodies to eat.

My family and dog stayed at this best western location as we were travelling home. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and accomodating, from reservation to check in, breakfast and check out. The kids enjoyed the pool, and we enjoyed being able to have accomodation for our Chihuahua too. Thanks for a great stay. This will now be our stay over hotel when on travels :)

Staff were excellent, helpful and considerate, room was very large and clean, only complaints would be the washroom was rather small and the bed was a little firm for my taste, however it was not uncomfortable at all. Had our 2 large dogs along and they were welcomed by the staff who even offered to care for them if we wished to use the pool area. Overall we were very impressed.

The room was clean, the hotel staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet and the rate was reasonable. I've stayed at this location before and I will again. It met all of my expectations and was good value for a business stay.

Great staff and excellent stay.Nice to stay at a place that is like home in regards to feeling good and being remembered when you check in and check out. Always look forward to coming back. Think they should find a new place to partner with other than the Mojave Grill as it lacks with their standard of service. State and Main comes to mind. Other than that, will be back in a couple of weeks like clockwork

We were upgraded to a king suite, had 2 gift cards, enjoyed a great sleep in a king bed, had a delicious breakfast, and this was excellent value! The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast staff were especially cheerful. I recommend this hotel for the value and price paid, including a full breakfast!

This hotel is always a good hotel to pick. They do take care of their customers. There is usually a Best Western near and it's worth it to stay. We use their facilities when and where we can. The pool if fun too.

Jen at the front desk always had a smile and a hello every time I passed through the lobby. She is a great asset to this location. The room was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. Thank you for the motorcycle parking and allowing several of us to park under the canopy and close to the building when severe weather was threatening. Definitely stay at this location again when visiting the area.

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past when my husband had business in Red Deer. Because we know it and it is conveniently located close to the major highway, it is a hotel of choice when we plan to stay overnight in Red Deer.

The hotel had all the amenities, and our suite was spacious and felt super clean. The staff were extremely friendly, yet professional and above all, helpful. I would definitely go back and/or recommend this hotel. This would be my first choice.

Great hotel, wonderful staff, very economical and close to major roadways to get around Red Deer (if you have kids the hotel is next to the trampoline park) and to go to Sylvan Lake. Rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable!

we arrived around noon to hotel and were extremely surprised that they could check us in early. We enjoyed a very relaxing stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. Front Desk staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They accommodated us so that we were just across the hall from the family we travelled with. The kids loved the pool. The breakfast staff was very efficient and were constantly refilling items so the breakfast bar was fully stocked.

Nice place but pool wasn't what I thought it would be. Rooms and bed were great. Bathroom was small and hard to get around in. Television Cale was horrible, but all in all rooms and service was excellent.

Night away with the wife was wonderful. The staff upgraded our room adding to the experience. I would recommend staying at Best Western Red Deer. I travel for work and stay in a lot of hotels and this was one of my favourites.

Loved my stopover in Red Deer, AB. Jennifer was very nice at check-in, ate at the Mojave restaurant next which was delicious, and relaxed the evening in the very clean Jacuzzi. Breakfast just needs some fresh fruit assortment choices.

Very nice property under the Bast Western flag. Clean rooms, great staff, awesome bed. What more can ya ask for when travelling right? Would highly recommend. If ya need a good night stay here is the place!

Great Location. Clean. I would highly recommend if your in the Red Deer area to stay here. Restaurants are close within walking distance. Free breakfast is always a bonus as well. Rooms are huge and staff was always polite.

The room was disappointing for the usual Best Western Hotels..It looked dated with the carpet that looked like "Should I walk on them in bare feet"? The TV's are too low for watching while lying in bed. The staff were great. The breakfast was very nice. The all day coffee was delicious.

I have stayed in dozens of hotel all over North America. I am always amazed at the friendliness of the Best Western staff. However the one in Red Deer Alberta exceeded even their expectations. Great staff enjoyed it very much.

The staff are friendly and go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable. Best hotel experience in Red Deer. The breakfast is great - everything you need for a good start to the day. Rooms are spotless.

Great stop for the night. Have been traveling for 26 days. At which some of the hotels were Best Western. This is the first one that in the 8 years I've been a platinum member has offered me an upgrade. So delighted. Room was wonderful. King suite and great bed. Hotel staff great. Breakfast was really good. Ham, sausage, pancakes, eggs. Would definitely recommend.

The Best Western desk staff are the best ever!! So friendly and helpful! I did get sandwiched between a lacrosse team, and as I had to be in bed and up early was afraid they'd be running around all night long. But they settled down around 10:00, and all was good.

This hotel is the first hotel that took us all in during the evacuation last year take during the Wild Fire of Fort McMurray, 4 animals 3 adults. They released our stress and feed us, clothed us and made us feel like family-if we needed anything they would of bent over backwards for us. The reason why I'm writing this again because we recently stayed here again, with flowers presented to them and give them business to say THANK YOU with all of our hearts in mind.

This was definitely a great experience for us. We were down in Red Deer for the Woody's Marathon and the hotel staff were so accommodating with early breakfast setup and late checkout. This is so much appreciated by the runners. We have stayed at this hotel before, and it's always this way. All the staff are friendly, happy people. The hotel is well kept, clean and comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good accommodation at a very reasonable price.

My wife and I have been staying here once a month for the past 21 months as we prepared for her bariatric surgery at the Red Deer Hospital . We can't say enough positive things about this hotel, the reception desk people( Lisa, Jenn,Dawn, just to name a few) go over the top pleasing us and all the hotel guests. Maintenance man was busy all day and really tried to accommodate the guests and still get all his daily routines completed. We have at least 3 more post surgery appointments and we know if we need to stay , this is our home away from home! Rooms are always clean, they have a great staff there also and the breakfast is very good.

Really great design and décor in room. It had 2 TVs and 2 phones! Had a nice little kitchenette and huge bed with a variety of pillows. Bathroom was a tad small but otherwise fantastic room! The staff were also fun, helpful and very engaging.

First off let me state that I always stay at Best Westerns and have stayed at this one in particular multiple times without issues. I had reserved a room here for May 13th a week in advance with my credit card for my wife and daughter as they needed to stay for rugby tryouts in the area. My wife had forgotten her credit card at home (6 hours away) so the lady at the front desk named Annie told her there is nothing they could do to accommodate her and she will not be able to stay there. The wife had offered her a $500 cash deposit or whatever they needed to secure her stay with no success. My wife then called me where I in turn told my wife not to worry I will call and fix this. I called the front desk (Annie) and was told the same thing there is nothing they can do that would allow them to stay the night, she even seemed happy with this like she won and I lost it was unbelievable. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told she was away for the day. I then called Hampton Inn and Suites and they accommodated me within minutes!! One email sent to me and a reply with some scanned info. from myself my wife and daughter were in a room. No more Best Western for me looks like I will be at the Hampton for all my travels from here on in. Thank You Hampton for taking care of my wife and daughter!!!!

We are sorry about this experience – it is hotel policy to have a Valid Credit Card and ID present at time of check-in. This is crucial to our efforts to eliminate credit card and ID fraud at our hotel.

Chose because of TripAdvisor. Not disappointed. Outside of city centre, but not isolated. Check in easy in a typical BW lobby. Clean and inviting. Room: typical BW. Clean, reasonable size, good layout. Bed: Average. Bathroom: well appointed, and shower was decent. Amenities are basic. Check out was simple and accurate. Breakfast was good. All in all a fine place.

I stay at the Best Western in Red Deer several days each month for business. My experience has always been wonderful, with friendly and competent staff, well equipped gym, clean and comfortable rooms and good value for dollar. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Red Deer and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Husband went for swap meet, I went for shopping, for Grandson. His Grad suit. All in all we enjoyed this trip. Hotel was easy to find and staff very friendly, even the dog loved it. Would go again one of better hotels

We certainly enjoyed having you all visit!!

This is a good hotel and great value for your money. Pool and rooms were clean and nice. Stayed in a family suite which had two rooms one with a king bed and pullout sofa and the other room with 2 twin beds. Was super handy for our family. Would definitely stay here again.

Drove up from Calgary to visit friends and take Roy Forbes at the Elks Club. Check in was a breeze with the young lady at the front being totally engaged and ensuring we had everything we needed. Room was large, clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. The absolute best part was the young lady in charge of the breakfast room. She always had a smile, kept the buffet fully stocked and sang to herself as she cleaned the tables. Truly someone who enjoys her work...made my day.

We got here late at night on our way home from calgary airport. After a week in Mexico the beds in this hotel were like heaven and it was nice to have full pillows. We booked the family suite and the boys liked having their own room with twin beds and our daughter didn't complain about the pullout. I tried the Jacuzzi but it was very loud and with it being so late I just decided not to use it in case someone in another room was bothered by the noise. Breakfast was good the next day as well.

My work took me to Red Deer AB. Upon check in staff were very helpful. Provided me with a selection of restaurants nearby, very cheerful and helpful. Later in my stay provided me with directions to a local address. The room was very comfortable- the bed was dreamy. The décor was modern.

Close to the highway, although they are still doing construction so you need to pay attention. Room was great and had everything you would need for a lengthy stay but super for a only a night too. Staff friendly and helpful. No restaurant in facility but a nice selection of restaurants in close proximity. The provided morning breakfast had an array of choices with great coffee (better than the coffee in the room.)

I've stayed here before, but my wife joined me this time and was blown away with the size and cleanliness of the King room we had. We also appreciate that you accept pets because we were here for a Scent Detection Trial with our male Rottie. The front reception staff are very personable and we enjoyed Lisa's friendly attitude whenever walked by the front desk. We'll be back and stay here again.

Having you and your family stay with us is our pleasure. We are all dog lover's and thoroughly enjoy all the fur babies who come to stay here.

Lots of choices for hotels right in this area. Best Western has always treated me well and their hotels offer good value. This location is no different, spacious clean rooms, fast wifi, plenty of parking, self serve laundry if needed as well. I would have liked a pillow with less loft. No other concerns at all during my stay.

This was our 2nd stay and this hotel and it was just as nice this time as last. The person at the front desk moved us to the 4th floor (from a room on the main floor) when we checked in and she realized we had no kids or dogs with us. There was a large group with children around 9-11 by the looks of them and we were told they were all on the 2nd floor. We didn't ask to be moved, she offered right away. She also suggested that we come down for breakfast after 8 a.m. as the teams would all be gone to their games by then.

I am a regular at the Best Western in FORT SASKATCHEWAN and I love the rooms clean great free hot breakfast friendly service great hot tub pool gym. Close to restaurants and malls. I have been a member of there rewards program and I am a platinum rewards card holder. So when I planed this trip I called and booked a room they reduced the going rate upgraded me to a AMAZING room. The food was good nice fresh and hot. You will be very happy if you book at this hotel.

This was the first time we have stayed at this hotel. It was a very pleasant surprise, easy to find, just off the QE2 highway, and lots of parking. The place is very clean, and modern. Our room was very reasonably priced, super clean, lots of room, quite, the bathroom was very clean, but very compact, not that it was missing anything, very well appointed, just no waisted space I guess. We didn't hear any noise from outside even though you can see a railway from our window.... One of the best sleeps I have ever had, the bed and pillows were amazing. Room was all you would need. The free hot breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and friendly... We will be staying here again, and would highly recommend it to anyone

Your might think I work for Best Western but I don't and never have. We arrived in the late evening and we're greeted with a very pleasant check in . The king room was nicely appointed, spacious and clean. We did have the breakfast buffet the next morning which was well stocked, clean and had great coffee. The check out was quick and easy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on the QE2, Alberta's busiest hi-way. Great place to take a break from the ever busy traffic and it's always nice to be greeted by a smiling face!!

Great customer service. The front desk even found a pillow that I could use after discovering the room pillows were a bit too high. Hot tub was awesome, nice and hot. Pool was cool. Very nice continental breakfast. Room was very clean and comfortable.

This hotel is located close to other hotels and some restaurants. The staff is lovely, the rooms are clean. The hotel feels dated, with small bathrooms and an average breakfast. The pool area has a nice small pool and hot tub. The breakfast area is tiny and has an older feel.

Fantastic hotel in a new and developing area. I checked in and the front desk clerk was very nice and professional. good spacious and clear room and well laid out. good for either business or personal

Myself, husband and two children (2yrs&7yrs) stayed here last night. Beds were very comfortable, lots of pillows. Room was very quiet, staff was all very friendly. We used the pool very early in the morning (6am) and my boys loved it. Breakfast was phenomenal for a free breakfast. Seriously, they had pretty much anything you could want to eat for your morning meal (my seven year old's favourite was the 'pancake machine') they did not cheap out on this, believe me. -honestly, the reason I even took the time to review was just to commend the incredible breakfast Also, room was a really good price and hotel was in a great location. *suggestion to manager: relocate clock in workout room to opposite wall so that guests using pool can see it! I have stayed at this property several times and each time I have been treated in a very professional manner. The front desk have always been extremely pleasant and courteous. The rooms have always been clean and the beds are second to none. Breakfast is good nothing extraordinary but lots of food items to choose from. Location is near the highway from Calgary to Edmonton so very convenient for business and pleasure travellers.

Stayed in an executive suite. It was roomy and clean. There was road construction ongoing during our stay but it did not affect our comfort at any time. Solid breakfast provided in the morning. Easy location off the highway. Staff were friendly and gave good advice. Not sure why there are two TVs in the exec suite with no wall inbetween but nice to have an option.

Stayed here for two nights while watching the Spartan races in Red Deer. Check in was a breeze, the receptionist, l think her name was Jenn was very helpful and efficient. Our room was clean as was the whole hotel. There are about 5 different hotels bunched together as well as a Tim Horton's and a restaurant/bar called Mojaves. They include a breakfast which had a good selection of cereals, yogurt,fruit, bagels and muffins. On the hot side they had cheese omelette and sausage one day and scrambled eggs and ham the other. Recommended.

We had a junior suite, so we enjoyed the extra space and bath robes. The ceramic mugs and real glassware were also nice to have. The hotel's art was very good and appropriately regional. The staff were very friendly, and all aspects of the hotel worked well, and it was very clean. The pool is a bit on the small side, but otherwise fine. A little twist for breakfast was their pancake machine, not the regular waffle machine. The pancakes were okay, but I wouldn't write home about them. Waffles were available for the toaster. As of this date (early Sept 2106), there was a lot construction in the area, so there's a dusty detour to get onto the hotel grounds. This is just temporary, of course.

Great hotel for very moderate price. We had a room with king bed and pull out couch. Excellent room, nice décor and very functional with a separate desk. Internet service was very good. Breakfast was more than adequate with variety of hot food as well as traditional breads and pastries and dairy products. Pool was nice. As it was during the week, it seemed there were no other families and we had the pool to ourselves and our granddaughter. It was heated and she had a wonderful time. Staff were very friendly and efficient. would certainly recommend.

The BW Red Deer was a great choice for our family while attending a family event in Red Deer. Easy access from the highway and to shopping. The hotel was quiet and had excellent amenities (pool, hot tub, hot breakfast). You can not beat the value. Most importantly - excellent, friendly, helpful employees! All we encountered were just great. I would stay there again and recommend this property.

This is the only hotel I book when in Red Deer. I don't look anywhere else. The prices/ location/ staff/ room/ breakfast are the best. I stay there once a month for business, its the real deal. I had a small issue about my room bill last time and DAWN was very professional and I call it top shelf. Thanks DAWN. Cheers.

This was my first time to stay at this Best Western Plus. The moment you enter the door you are warmly greeted and made to free at home. The room was very large and comfortable. Due to road construction it was interesting getting to the place, but well worth the effort. The buffet breakfast is bountiful and very delicious. I look forward to my return trip in December. Me and 2 friends booked in to this best western in red deer ab for a 5km foam fest. When booked in advance we got a great room 2 queen beds. We asked for extra towels they didnt hesitate to be prompt. We used the in room coffee and needed cream and sugar and an additional decaf they were speedy to deliver. The room was clean and fully stocked. We asked for a late checkout but there were too many as many people were in town for the same event as us. But as a courtasy after our race we asked if we could use the showers on main but they made us keys for our original room after we checked out; there where we could shower in a calm and comfortable. We advised the front desk when we were finished and went on our way. Really amazing service. Definately will be returning..

Best Western hotels are always a good bet. Clean, comfortable and good value. Decent breakfast and strong coffee which is a Plus for me. We used the pool and the temperature of the hot tub was perfect.

Stayed for one night on part of a fly drive holiday from the UK and wish it had been longer, this is a very comfortable hotel, all the staff are extremely helpful and happy to deal with any request. We were upgraded to room 402 which had a hot tub, it was spotlessly clean with a great bed and all the amenities required. A good breakfast was provided, a nice selection of food with something for everyone. I would fully recommend this Best Western hotel.

Had to travel to Red Deer to deal with an estate and perform a funeral service. The staff are exceptionally friendly and courteous. "Annie" (front desk) has an infectious smile and warmed our days, lighening our load everytime we saw her. Indeed, the staff respond like you are family just arriving for a visit. We had a suite with a table in the kitchen area which made this an ideal setting for a considerable amount of papperwork we had to deal with during the week. This would be perfect for a businessman who had to do such on his trips. No need to sit with. Your briefcase, binder or computer on you knees.

Due to the wild fie and subsequent evacuation of Fort Mcmurray, we required a pet friendly hotel and required extended stay. The hotel provided a family room for the entire time. Very comfortable and clean. This hotel extended excellent service and extra amenities to Fort Mcmurray families. A fund raiser and barbecue was put on for Fort Mac in the parking lot. We will always be thankful for the kindness shown by all staff at this hotel. 10 out of 10

I recommend this home away from home at any time! Stayed king suite ground floor. Hotel is very modern, nicely decorated. Rooms are clean, average in size. Fairly quiet at night. Lots of parking. Good in room coffee makers (Kuerig) Breakfast was fine, normal standard stuff. Internet was bad. Started out 5mbps (a slow standard) early afternoon and went downhill from there....to the point that by 8pm it was so slow it was unusable at 1mbps. I called tech support, better wasn't possible. TV had no guide built into programming. I hate that. It means I have to scroll thru all the channels to try to find something to watch. I stayed for 4 nights, I had a second week of work in Red Deer, but I didn't stay here. Average rooms and lousy internet/ TV don't cut it anymore.

Unfortunately, our cable provider does not offer us a guide for our guest room tv's. This will be something we address with them as well.

Awesome experience! Very friendly staff, great clean room, and a great hot breakfast. We had no problem getting a late check-out at no extra charge. Lots of parking, easy to access from the highway. Highly recommend!

Received a complimentary upgrade which was very nice and appreciated. The room was well equipped but I did have an issue which was not reported so this is fact and by no means meant as a complaint that might otherwise have been addressed. I have allergies and some hotels don't bother me, some so-so, and others really bother me. With this one, it was the latter. I don't know if it was the room, or the building but evenings were unpleasant. The building air system seemed to be always on, i.e., the bathroom ventilation was on steady. Dust stirred up from the rest of the building came in under and around the door and I ended up cheating the system by placing a sheet of paper up against the vent thereby limiting air infiltration around the door. -------Breakfast was so-so, nothing special. Parking space is plentiful. Access is good. Road noise is minimal but I did feel the building move as the train, I suspect, went by.

We do have an ionizer on site that we have used in the past to purify the air. I'm not sure if this would have solved the issue, however it's our goal to ensure every guest experience is superior. Our complimentary hot breakfast bar is one of the best in the area, offering three 'build your own' stations. This includes mixed berry topping for the pancakes, granola for the yogurt and shredded coconut & dried cranberries for the oatmeal. Again, thank you for posting your review.

This is a great hotel with amazing staff. The front desk lady who works weekday (forget her name) was absolutely amazing! She was enthusiastic and very welcoming. The hotel looks brand new (not sure if it is or not), but everything is very clean and modern. The rooms are spacious with lots of room. I was here for business and this will be my new go-to hotel in Red Deer

This is a great Best Western to stay at. The rooms are very clean and the staff are extremely professional. There is a good breakfast selection. Since it is near the main highway running from or to Calgary from Edmonton, easy to get to. I have stayed here several times in the past and will be during the next few months. The staff is very friendly, the room spotless, the bed heavenly. Get a King suit, very comfy. The fitness room is well supplied and just off the pool area. No slide means the pool is great for more than kids. Hot Tub and showers right there too. Gift bag upon entering is a nice friendly touch.

Number 1 asset - fantastic front desk staff. 5 stars for the welcome? Number 2 asset - clean, sparkling rooms - not the most spacious bathroom but I love the attention to cleanliness. The mattress was a little hard (mattress pads a good idea?) but lots of lovely pillows. The thermostat worked well too. Number 3 asset - the cinnamon buns - I'd love the recipe as they were the best I've ever eaten. Actually, lunch and snacks at the conference centre were delicious - another good surprise although a little butter or mayo to put in the buns before the meat would have been nice. There needs to be wheelchair access for the business centre and breakfast - it was not the best. I'm glad we had brought our own cereal just in case. I think it just needs a little menu creativity especially given the supply of fantastic local vegetables, grains and fruit in the province - and the quality of the rest of the meals. Best Western - I apologize - I was expecting less. Please keep up this standard elsewhere and we'll come back.

This is my go-to hotel when traveling in the area for business. Beds are super comfortable and I usually get a better night sleep here than at home. Fitness room is good. Hotel is quiet during the week. My only recommendation is to make the breakfast a bit more exciting/appealing. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were a sports group of 14 families that stayed at this wonderful facility. The service was excellent. They even provided an area for our potluck dinner and again for evening group hangout and snacks. They went above and beyond what we even were asking for. I highly encourage everyone to stay at this property, especially teams.

Hotel was great! Dawn and the rest of the staff were great. They were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good as well. Thanks for being awesome!!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during a hockey tournament. I agree with many of the reviews that it is a nice facility with a great breakfast and some friendly staff - the lady who works in the breakfast room in particular was outstanding. My one complaint, and it is a significant one, is how the children on our team were treated. On the day we checked in, at 4 pm, a small group walking quietly to one of the rooms was yelled at by staff and told they could not be in the hall without a parent. Later that night families from our group were asked to leave the pool an hour before it closed because they happened to be there as part of a team. Not because they were disruptive or poorly behaved. We approached the staff about this, trying to understand why we were being singled out when we had been nothing but respectful and our children well behaved. There was no acceptable response and, in fact, the children were stopped again the next day and an explanation of where their parents were demanded with some of the parents no more than a few feet behind hearing this. I am not sure if the hotel does not like teams, or maybe just children in general, but perhaps they shouldn't register as a tournament hotel in the future. This is our third time at this tournament as a team (First at this hotel) and never have we been treated so poorly. We are respectful decent people, not thugs, who paid full price to stay at this facility and were not treated accordingly. We won't be back and if you are with a team, or have kids, I suggest you look elsewhere.

After an unpleasant stay the weekend prior at the Best Western in Lethbridge, this property in Red Deer was reassurance as to why we prefer Best Western properties. The staff at the front desk were prompt, courteous, friendly and helpful. The bed was to die for. Literally we crawled in and just never wanted to get up again.

Planning a trip to Edmonton and back to Calgary? Red Deer is a great way to break up the trip and this hotel has beautiful suites that are roomy and so comfortable. The 3 sided fireplace in our room with a sitting area, was a wonderful surprise and the Jacuzzi and king bed adding to our relaxation. The staff at the front desk were so very pleasant and helpful, eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The rate was fabulous as well.

The Best Western chain is my hotel of choice and the Red Deer location is yet another shining star. The staff here are exceptional, super friendly, caring, helpful, I could go on. The hotel and rooms are super clean, beds are so comfy you won't want to get up in the morning. I rate this hotel a solid five on the basics as that is what is super important to me. Now for the not to exceptional standard. Internet - The hotel internet is spotty at best. If you need to spend hours working and require internet you're better off using the hotspot on your phone. This has been addressed by management and I was told they are working on a better solution. Breakfast - If you enjoy the very basics for breakfast you will be super happy, if you are wanting something with a big variety including fresh fruit and fresh cooked fair, you'll be disappointed. It's certainly not the worst I've seen but a few minor additions would make it on par with the rest of the hotel and some of it's sister locations. I do love this hotel as it is super quiet and I just don't have enough kind words for the staff.

Stayed in King Jacuzzi suite. WOW! Fireplace, Jacuzzi, extra seating area. Could not have been better. Highly recommend. Great date night. The bed and bedding were the best we have ever experienced in any hotel.

We stayed here for a soccer tournament. Ours was one of 8 teams staying in the hotel at the time. We didn't hear other people in the halls. Everyone was well behaved. The breakfast staff were over run but still had smiles and kept up very well. The rooms were spotless and all of the staff were friendly and smiling. The location was excellent and easy to access.

Another good stay at a Best Western. Their hotels always offer the same kind of standard and you know what you get, which I personally appreciate. Clean and comfy room, breakfast in the morning and friendly staff. All you need.

This hotel has some qualities that are outstanding, but then it has some things that are incredibly frustrating, so I'm still not sure if I rated it high enough or low enough. We had a suite, and it was outstanding, including the most comfortable pillow and mattress I've ever slept on. That alone gives the room a 5. Wifi, slowest I've experienced at a hotel in years, a 2. Configuration of the TV's in the suite, no rating, but humorous. The suite consists of a King Bed and a pull-out sofa. There is a TV in front of both, but are about 5' apart. Close enough that when you use the remote to control one, it controls both TVs. You turn off 1 TV and they both turn off, when you change the channel of 1 TV, they both get their channels changed. Hotel Hallways, the air conditioning was on so high all weekend that we'd get icicles hanging from our noses waiting for the elevator, a 1. The elevator, so slow, a 1. Free hot breakfast, exactly what you expect from mid-range hotel chains, average but free, so a 4. Staff responsiveness, a 3; check-in was quick, easy and friendly, a 5, but later that evening we discovered no bedding or pillows for the pull-out sofa. We went downstairs to request and the front desk person had a look of fear in her eyes and said she didn't know if there were any extra pillows or bedding to be had. I'll give her credit, half an hour later she knocked on hour door with what we needed, a 3. Check-out. What check-out? At 10:15 Sunday morning we came to check-out but there was a sign on the front desk that somebody would be there in 5 minutes. I counted 11 of us waiting to be checked out and I didn't have time to wait and so I left. Which reminds me, I'd better check my credit card to make sure there were no extra charges since I haven't seen a bill yet, a 1. I'd stay there again because of the beds, but if these other problems persisted, I wouldn't give them a 3rd chance.

A new hotel since we've been there but it was clean, friendly staff, and good quality. Bed was the MOST comfortable I have ever slept in. Will definitely go back. Only small issue was the location right on edge of town and a little difficult to find entrance for the street but certainly worth it.

I stayed one night at this hotel. I wanted to treat my young daughter with a stay in a nice room with a jacuzzi. Our room was big. King bed with a living space partly separated by a fireplace. Everything was clean and in working order. Check in was quick and easy. I requested some additional tea for our in room coffee maker and it was no problem for the front desk to provide it. The morning breakfast was adequate and fresh. The only downside of this hotel is the train that goes right by the hotel as well as the major highway that is right there too. If you're a light sleeper then this location is definitely not for you. I bring along a white noise maker for my daughter so she wasn't bothered by it but I am a light sleeper and it woke me up even with the white noise in my room.

With the convenience of being located right off the QEII, unfortunately the train tracks run along side the highway. Although, we have always offered ear plugs at the front desk, we will now be providing them in the night stand of every guest room. This should eliminate the inconvenience for guests in the middle of the night. Again, thank you for posting your review and we would love to welcome you to our property, in a parking lot facing room, the next time you require accommodations in Red Deer.

Everything good as usual. I have stayed here before to visit family. I am visiting from California and this is the perfect place to stay. Everything works good and beds are very comfortable. Will stay here next trip to Red Deer.

When I need to stay overnight in Red Deer I always stay here - people are nice; place is clean - only drawback in the internet is slow but apparently they will fixing that soon. One of the nicest Best Westerns I have stayed at.

Clean rooms and good layouts. Very execeptional hotel with a delicious free breakfast. This hotel has very friendly staff and is central to most attractions in Red Deer. Close to Tim Hortons and a Shell Gas Station

I have had "another" stay at the Best Western in Red Deer. I have stayed at this specific property a few times, and at Best Western properties "many" times. There are never any surprises. The properties are consistent, the beds are very comfortable, and (most important) the IT always works. I need to have a good outside IT line to get work done; that is a "must". There are a couple of decent pubs/restaurants under a 5 minute walk from the property. Both are fine. The walk there, and back, never does me any harm. And, there is always the hot tub.........

stayed here with work for 1 week, then moved to a different hotel because of the train yard out back. subsequently stayed there again because work booked it but i was given an east facing room which was a bit quieter. the rooms are ok, the top floor rooms are big , they remodeled the hotel while i was staying there so the noise and carpet glue smell was a bit much. they serve breakfast every morning so its good for working guys , there are restaurants within walking distance too. price was up there but work covered it. i wouldnt pay that much to stay there .

This hotel is located in a district of other hotels. As we are Best Western Reward patrons, we always come back to the Red Deer Inn. We have stayed many times over the years at this Best Western. The staff at check in has always been pleasant. The room we have stayed in has always been clean, comfortable and the bed was always a comfort for sleeping. We have occasionally found that we have been upgraded once we check in. What we thought we were going to have has been a pleasant surprise for us. We are very pleased that all the rooms we have stayed in provide the microwave and fridge. Though we have not used the exercise room or pool on any of our stays, they always appear to be clean. The breakfast area is also clean with enough selections to please. We would highly recommend this hotel to stay at.

Each year to celebrate our wedding (December 8 ) anniversary we travel to Rosebud AB to attend their Saturday brunch & theatre. In the evening we square dance at Gates United in Red Deer AB . We stay overnight in a hotel/ motel because on Sunday we attend Cow Patti brunch & theatre at Lacombe AB Golf Course. What a wonderful surprise this past Saturday December 12 evening when we opened our room to find a jet tub and fireplace! Thanks for the upgrade and we have already booked our stay February 13 for Valentine's day . A & N Edmonton AB

Attended the Red Deer Best Western on business. The rooms were clean and the staff were very accommodating. the room was quiet and the beds comfortable. The area surrounding the hotel has sufficient restaurants and bars to accommodate a wide range of ages.

Overall, my husband, my stepson and I had a great experience in this hotel during our 2-night stay. The room was modern, chic and very clean. Breakfast was good, lots of variety. The gym and sauna were really excellent. The staff were very professional and friendly. It's a good hotel to stay at.

Thsi hotel is well kept; staff is very friendly and quick to offer help Our room was very nice and breakfast was good .Would love to see ham or bacon on menu as my husband is ok with sausage but I'm not really fond of it as usually not cooked enough .

Thank you for the suggestion in regards to serving ham on our breakfast. Please know that we actually do serve ham. Due to our limited space and without offer the same thing everyday, we alternate between the hot meats we serve. We always try to accommodate guests requests for anything in particular they may require or need. Please don't hesitate to ask one of the attendants should you require something that you may not see.

Stayed for 2 nights. Very friendly staff in all areas. We were upgraded to a King suite and really enjoyed that. The breakfast area was spotless and a really nice lady was working there. Great parking. Hotel is far enough from the main roads that you hear virtually no noise. We'd definitely stay here again.

I stay at this hotel every time I come in to red deer but this time was the most special time yet. This is a dog friendly hotel, only this time I wasn't traveling with my furbabies. In the last 6 months all three of my dogs passed away, two of them because they were old very old, but my 5 month old French Bulldog puppy died unexpectedly when she got into some hand cream. When I booked my room I explained I had no dogs with me and why sadly. When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by the hotel staff and one of the cleaners. I got the biggest hugs and the sincerest I'm sorries for my loss. They are incredible staff. But my biggest surprise came when I got up to my room, they're on the bed was a little stuffed animal puppy a beautiful sympathy card and at towel puppy Complete with eyes nose and a little mouth. It brought tears to my eyes as to how caring these people who have now become like family to me are. I could never ever stay at any other hotel when I travel to Red Deer these people go above and beyond and they are truly truly the top tier of Representatives of Best Western hotels. I have stayed at many many many Best Western hotels and none can surpass the staff at this hotel. If you have pets and you are traveling to Red Deer make sure you stay at this hotel you will never regret it.

We just stayed at the Red Deer Best Western, and they have the best staff. From the front desk to the house keeping staff, we felt everyone went above and beyond to make our stay totally enjoyable. We took our dogs, and this hotel was wonderful, and there is miles of walking area right outside the door. We can't say enough about the excellent service we received, so we want to thank them all.

The air conditioner/ heater was extremely noisy, So i didn't use it. The head board above the bed wasn't clean. The Hot breakfast was not good and very little of there... Very disappointing Very noisy as the train next door actually shakes the bed when passing by!

We were welcomed by friendly staff and told exactly where our room was. The room itself was clean and well-appointed. The breakfast was excellent with a nice selection of food. We were asked if we enjoyed our stay in a very professional manner.

I rarely spend more than one night in a hotel and usually don't sleep well when I do, but thanks to the super comfortable mattresses and pillows and adjustable room temperature, my daughter and I both slept extremely well three nights in a row. Room was well-appointed, wi-fi worked perfectly. Front desk staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was better than expected. Location, although just off the No. 2 highway, was relatively quiet. Would definitely choose a Best Western again!

My wife and I visited Red deer and enjoyed Best Western plus. A friendly staff, clean well kept rooms and a great morning buffet added to our enjoyment. I did make use of the small exercise room which was convenient however it cannot hold more than 4 people. The equipment was in top notch condition.

Very comfortable, wonderful breakfast, incredible staff, great location. Price per night a bit high... oil country!!!... but they all are to high priced for an economy that is supposed to be depressed??

I stay at this hotel every time I come to Red Deer which can be quite often at times. Clean room, nice gym, pool and hot tub. Friendly staff and a good variety breakfast. Only one negative on my last stay was the toiletries and complementary coffee were not replaced everyday. But overall I would stay there again.

We were in Red Deer for a funeral. The accommodations were comfortable quiet and clean. The breakfast was impressive and a good start to the day. The staff were all polite, courteous and helpful. Will stay there again.

I really enjoy Best Western Hotels. I love the cleanliness and their continental breakfast. The one thing I do not appreciate is their signage. If I don't know where I am going, I find it very hard to locate one of their Hotels due to their small signs. Red Deer Best Western is a prime example. Tucked neatly in between TWO other larger hotels with bigger signs is this Best Western. I still love this hotel...so I took the time to find it. I asked a few Red Deer locals if they knew where it was, and oddly enough the three I asked had no idea. I must say again, Best Western is a great hotel and I will find one even if I have to spend an hour looking for it!

Although this hotel is of the best western chain and i have stayed with them before there were a few issues with my stay mostly just the quality of the staff there, the rooms were alright nothing special, could use some better staff.

In keeping with that, staff members who do not display outstanding customer service skills are typically not kept on our team.

Excellent location and amenities. The room was clean, quiet and hotel is modern. Only downfall was the lady who checked us in and out wasn't friendly and was unpleasant. Everything was good except that.

The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very clean all the way through. The pool, hot tub and exercise area were very clean and all modern equipment. The complimentary breakfast has a large variety to choose from.

our stay was so wonderful. there was a small issue with the water temperature in the shower and they quickly had it fixed. we didn't want our room made up but required refills on our coffee. the staff made sure that we not only got what we needed but that we had a good selection. the atmosphere was positive no matter where we went in the motel .i would highly recommend it for a relaxing time.

Seemed to busy to look after the hotel guests. Took too long to check in. I am not completely satisified with this aspect of the property. Otheriwse the room was great and everything in it worked well.

Needed a room last minute. Had 1 room left that fit our needs. Checkin clerk was so helpful and pleasant. The room was great, clean and beds comfortable. Will stay there again when in Red Deer. Had a bad experence in another hotel so almost drove back to Edmonton but glad we gave Best Western a chance. The continental breakfast was more than we expected. Both hot and cold choices.
