Best Western Wesley Inn & Suites

After staying here last year, we decided it was worth another visit. The facility is well maintained and spotless, the breakfast offerings are outstanding, and the entire facility is inviting. We stayed using BW points which made it a very easy choice.

I recently visited the Gig Harbor for work and stayed at the Wesley Inn & Suites. I very much enjoyed my stay! Check-in was quick and easy. The clerks were friendly and knowledgeable and were able to send me to an excellent local restaurant for dinner. The room was large and very comfortable (and even featured a fireplace!). Breakfast in the morning featured plentiful portions of hearty food and a variety of health-conscious options. I would definitely recommend the Wesley Inn for your next stay in Gig Harbor!

At 78 years old, this was my first solo trip. I enjoyed everything about this lovely Family Owned Inn. I hope to return another day in 2024 when I visit relatives I have discovered from Ancestry.com who live in Gig Harbor. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

This place should be a Best Western Plus Plus, I don't know what's with their rating system. It's a mature site with well updated large rooms, large clean windows, very clean and friendly. Breakfast was very good, crispy bacon with a cheesy herbed scramble and baked cinnamon rolls, and many side breakfast alternatives. Close to the highway, but quiet and nestled into a mature landscape. We had a king easy access unit, with roll in shower and a wet bar over the microwave and fridge and Keurig coffee maker by the second sink. Bed was great, came with 4 standard pillows, not the weenie little ones. Big windows with heavy drapes, standard motel a/c heat pump that was in good working order. Building entry features automatic opening large glass doors, door locks worked on the first try. Pool was closed for the winter, didn't use exercise room or the WiFi as cell service was strong. Choose this one.

Very clean, comfortable and friendly hotel in a beautiful location! Walking distance to Gig Harbor downtown area. Very friendly and welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. We were in town for a family event, and really enjoyed our stay.

This place is beautiful and fully equipped with all of the amenities you could need. The location is perfect, close to the freeway but far enough away that it's still very quiet. The bed was lush and cozy as ever. They have great coffee mugs in the rooms. There was a pull-out mattress in the couch. The location is laid out spaciously so it seems quieter than many other locations. My last stay, I was unexpectedly upgraded for being a rewards member and it made that stay for my birthday so much better. The only bummer for me may not even be an issue for a lot of folks; their pool is outdoors. It's Washington. You can only use an outdoor pool 3 months out of the year. I love to swim and love that so many of these hotels have pool facilities. So it's not the end of the world if I don't get to go swimming. The stay was lovely and I would recommend this location to anyone.

We were upgraded to a King Suite with sofa, jetted tub & fireplace, and 2 TV's. There was a bar area with sink, microwave, mini fridge, etc. A very comfortable bed and room was super clean. Staff was very cordial and helpful. The property grounds were beautifully maintained and there is an area to unwind next to office with a fire pit, tables and chairs. We walked behind the property on a little trail with pine & cedar trees, Very pretty area. Definitely one of the nicest Best Westerns we've ever stayed in. Thank you Wesley Inn for a great stay!

This Best Western hotel is great place with the staff members going out of their way to welcome guests, thank Elite members and willing to help guest meet their needs during there stay. Location of hotel has several great options for restaurants on water in gig harbor

This is not a typical Best Western by any means. With the exemplary service they provide along with top-notch professionalism, our company has come to know the Best Western Wesley Inn more as a boutique hotel. The staff goes above and beyond each time our Montana owner comes to Washington on business. Although he must still travel several miles to our plant in Puyallup, WA, he prefers the Wesley Inn over any other in the immediate area. Always pristinely clean, with comfortable rooms, our business owner finds the Wesley to be his home away from home. As we all know, home is where the heart is.

Caught an older male employee stealing part of a tip for the housekeeper to clean my room. I left two $10 bills. He emptied the trash & stole one of the 10's. When I confronted him, he denied it, said wasn't two 10's just one. Finally he pulled the $10 out of his pocket & have it back to me. I then gave $20 to the housekeeper who was going to clean my room & told her of the theft. I told the mgr. while checking out. Today I called & to my surprise he still works there as he's a 20+ year employee & part of the family. Talked to the owner named Blue & he says he was reprimanded. Blue used a word for stealing part of the tips. I told him once a thief always a thief. This employee has probably been stealing for the 20+ years. Was referred by Hanger Clinic to stay here while getting my new IDEO Device. I made the Hanger Clinic aware today of the theft & lack of caring about the patrons or the housekeeping staff being stolen from.

Our weekend getaway to unwind and have fun! We stayed for two nights in a lovely king suite, even though we only live an hour south. We love to stay at the BW Wesley Inn and take in all the local restaurants, shops, and outdoor walks. We dropped off our bags and went for dinner & a movie at the Galaxy (comfy seats). Next day, after a great breakfast, we were off to the Pt. Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, then back to our room to change for dinner at Anthony's overlooking the harbor. The last day, was another welcoming breakfast before heading to the Bonsai Garden & Rhododendron Garden at Weyerhauser, a little lunch at IKEA and off to Bellevue to see our new grandbaby! The Inn is just the perfect jumping off point for sooo many activities in the greater area. We didn't kayak in the harbor this time, but it is another favorite activity for us, and we rent the paddle kayaks at the Gig Harbor Fly Shop.

Traveling with partner and were pleasantly surprised at how well this property is maintained. Our king room was spacious. Our bed was comfortable but could have been a little firmer for us. Big plus to us was that we were on second floor and our window opened so we had fresh air instead of recycled AC. The swimming pool was inviting with lounge chairs, plenty of towels for poolside.The breakfast was substantial. Of the three morning we ate there there was a different entree each day. Good selection. Tea and coffee in lobby all day with cookies in the afternoon. Hilly but easy walk to the downtown harbor area, maybe a little over a mile so we got exercise too. Was the best Best Western my partner and I have stayed in without hesitation. AJ at the front desk does an excellent job to accommodate! If you are near Gig Harbor and need an overnight would highly recommend this Best Western!

Wesley Inn was a very pleasant hotel with a great location near the Gig Harbor historic marina district and with easy highway access. The staff was very nice and accommodated our requests easily and without any issues. The breakfast, while unassuming, was nice and the hotel was very comfortable. It is a great spot for a weekend at Gig Harbor.

Great place to stay. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The beds were comfortable, room was clean, breakfast was wonderful. An added bonus is the discount we received. Looking forward to coming back next week!

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Gig Harbor for 3 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was quiet, spacious and everything worked just right. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were welcoming. A unique feature of this hotel is the heated outdoor pool - it was fantastic. The hotel is a short drive from Gig Harbor with plenty of eateries and there is a Starbucks within walking distance. We recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for a night on our way from Whistler B.C to Olympic National Park. We chose this instead of somewhere in Seattle or Tacoma because it was more reasonably priced and safer than similarly priced hotels in those 2 cities. We were not disappointed. The rooms are immaculately clean and very spacious. There is a fridge, microwave and the "normal" toiletries you find in most hotels. The parking is plentiful with electric car charging available. And the hotel is located very close to the highway without incurring the noise that sometimes comes with that. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had continental items as well as eggs and sausages. I only gave 4 stars because of the overuse of disposable items like cups, pre-packaged breakfast items etc. Big corporations like Best Western should be much more in tune with their environmental impact and adjust accordingly.

At $321 per night (including taxes), our expectations were a little higher than what this hotel provides. The room was at best generic builder grade with cheap furniture. The bathroom was also cheap builder grade. The bed was not very comfortable nor the pillows. I did not get a good nights sleep either night when you were there. The best thing in the room was the air conditioning unit. There was no safe to store your valuables and bottles of water were not even provided in the room for each guest. the free breakfast was a very basic cold cereal with minimum amount of fruit and the warm food was hardly edible. There were no amenities other than a small pool but no Jacuzzi. There was no bar or restaurant at the hotel. No happy hour was provided. Nothing about this property, the room, the service, or the area provided for the high price we paid for a nightly stay. I had to ask a second time to have the room made up, and it seemed like I was inconveniencing the front desk when I asked. The entirety of the room being made up was to set new towels on the bathroom sink which is all that was done and to make the bed. In fact, they didn't even push the nightstands back next to the bed after making the bed. Nothing else was clean or done in the room Where the room was made up. Again to provide such metal mold service at such a high price for room each night is unacceptable. I asked to speak to a manager or the owner and never heard from anyone. When I went back to the front counter and spoke to Chris who said he is the manager, all he could say is "well many other people enjoy their stay here." He never apologize for anything or offered anything other than 1000 points on the Best Western account that he already had known I had only created when I booked the room this time as best Western is not our families regular go to hotel chain when we travel. I was not too impressed with Chris's customer service skills.

I enjoyed the ambiance & conveniences of this hotel. It is a bit off the freeway, with large trees and a bit of landscaping. The pool is open all evening, and the lobby breakfast was all very fresh with plenty of options.

This quaint hotel is located in a quiet, almost residential neighborhood, yet is within minutes of gas stations, restaurants, and other points of interest. Our room was tastefully decorated and was very roomy, super clean, quiet, and had a fireplace that we enjoyed even though it was summer. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The front desk associates were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The free morning breakfast had a great variety with hot foods that changed daily. The breakfast bar was kept very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay so much that we changed our travel plans and cancelled the next night's hotel reservations so we could stay here an additional night! We will definitely stay at the Best Western Wesley Inn & Suites the next time we are in the area.

This is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood area of nice homes. The hotel itself is only two stories. It's layed out very well and was incredibly comfortable. Everything was clean, quiet and the bed itself was very comfortable. We had dinner out and upon our return enjoyed the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient for the WA-16 freeway, but well insulated from it. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Stayed in the King suite, which was very comfortable (real separate daytime and bedtime areas). Good quality breakfasts, lots of good coffee throughout the day. Family run, and they truly treat you like family! Will absolutely stay there again on our next visit to Gig Harbor.

It didn't feel like a chain hotel, but more like a boutique hotel. It had personality. Breakfast featured hot cinnamon rolls! Great staff, very helpful and super friendly. Nice and quite! Areas to gather family and sit around and chat!

As a business person traveling from Portland to Washington, it was refreshing to walk in and be greeted with courtesy, friendliness and comfort. It was my first time at this hotel and all plus location for business was perfect,

This hotel is very well run. I believe every well run business starts at the top. From a small local business with 2 or 3 employees - to a large corporation, if a business has an exceptional person who is running the show - like a GM or whoever is in charge of the day to day operations - it shows all the way through.

Overall - I love this hotel. I have stayed at this location twice and the staff is welcoming and helpful. My 1st stayed was incredible- no issues! My 2nd stay had issues. My key card had to be re-charged 6 times in my 3 night stay, my room was super cold when I checked in and took over an hour to heat it up to a comfortable temp, and last but not least when I checked in my Carbon Monoxide / Fire Alarm Detector was going off in the room- every 3 minutes. I notified the front desk right away and did get help right away with a new battery and rest of the devise however it started up again the last night of my stay and had to get help again.

We booked mainly on the courtesy and friendliness of the booking agent Sue ... she answered the phone right away - after we got no answer at another referred local motel ... we arrived almost at midnight but had no problems with check-in ...

My daughter said, "This is the nicest Best Western we've ever stayed at". Kind of sums it up for us. It's a bit more expensive than most Best Western's we've stayed at but it is worth it. The main breakfast items were homemade and they sure tasted great!

We have traveled the world and this hotel is in our top 5. It is clean, roomy, comfortable and quiet. The staff is great, helpful and caring. We have stayed in 5 star hotels with top accommodation but they don't match the simple home style welcome here.

Looking for a great place to stay in Gig Harbor? This BW is in a great location, it is a newer property. Very clean, nice room product, and relatively close to get any where. We were able to drive down to the harbor to shop and have dinner. It was close to the wedding we were attending. Easy to jump on the highway to go any distances too.

Quiet - out of the way of the business downtown noise, beautiful gardens, clean comfortable rooms. Staff is warm and welcoming. We have stayed here once before; this visit is consistent with the first visit experience.

Almost everything of consequence was not operable. Especially the A/C. It was 91° outside and 82° inside all day and night. It made for a rough night with little sleep. The noise level in the room wasn't bad, except for the inconsiderate people on the other side of the wall. I understand that the hotel or it's staff have no control over these types of people and that they are plentiful these days. For the price of the two bedroom suite, things could have and should have been much better. A buddy of mine uses AirB&B and I think that I will go that route from now on.

We were pleasantly surprised by the entirety of this property. We stayed over 1 week due to water damage to our home. All of the staff was friendly and accommodating, especially since we had our Service Dog with us. While breakfast was included, it was hit or miss with the server. A few days, it was well stocked; others not so much. Nonetheless, we will book again.

Beautiful hotel with an oceanfront inn look and feel. Staff was wonderful and always happy to help with local food and activities ideas. Kids and adults enjoyed the pool and beautiful grounds. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Wesley Inn & Suites. The hotel is charming with comfortable rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. The breakfasts were some of the best we've had at a hotel. Being able to stay there with our two dogs was wonderful. This was our second visit and we look forward to coming back again!

We have been at this place many times, and it is always wonderful. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast is very good as well. Sue and the staff is amazing and always takes care of us! I can't wait to come back!

There were 3 of us and we got the Large King Studio with a Jacuzzi, fireplace and front room with foldout couch. My king bed was very comfortable, but the foldout couch was not so much so. Also the A/C could not cool the room any lower than 78. I have to say that the staff was exceptional, they went out of their way to please, and even heating my coffee. All in all it was very quiet, adequate parking and a pleasure to stay at.

There were 7 of us. We had a king room upstairs, a king pet friendly suite with jacuzzi and a double queen. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. All of the beds were comfortable. The windows were screened and opened so those of us who wanted fresh air instead of A/C were happy. The hotel was quiet even though very full. The pool and hot tub were outdoors and very well maintained. Breakfast was pretty standard with egg dishes, hot and cold cereals, fruit etc but did have lemon cake slices instead of just packaged sweets. There was fresh iced lemon water in the lobby. The staff was really nice and very efficient.

This is our 2nd time at the Gig Harbor Best Western within 6 months. Both times (and we arrived after 11pm each time) it was the same gentleman checking us in, he was very nice. The following morning, different helpful and cheerful staff members. Great walkable area for your pups any time of day and close to Starbucks ♥ Just a lovely hotel, easy on and off freeway access.

We had a very nice five night stay. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The parking lot and hotel seemed safe and the breakfast had enough variety to please everyone. They had coffee and ice water in the lobby through most of the day. We could hear a little bit of highway noise and some activity at the pool, but at night it was quiet. The A/C unit was a bit loud, but it worked well. Note there was no in-room safe if that's important to you. Housekeeping service was by request, just let them know the night before or in the morning and they will take care of you after check-out room resets are done. I e-mailed a question to the manager and received a prompt reply, which I really appreciated. Thanks for a great visit, we will stay here again when we need lodging in Gig Harbor!

Great experience with my dogs Very welcoming and easy stay for the dogs. I would stay here again. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming no matter if it was daylight or the middle of the night. Rooms were spotless.

Rooms were nice, clean, and spacious (King suite). Everything worked properly and was easy to use. Heating/AC easy to adjust. Staff was very helpful with answering questions and accommodating since I was traveling with two disabled adult children. Breakfast was tasty and had a good variety of options. Parking easy and free. If you are staying in Gig Harbor, this is an excellent place to stay.

Wesley Inn is a beautiful hotel with great rooms. Most importantly the rooms are very clean and the best are are comfortable. Everyone woke up refreshed and excited about the day. The staff are very friendly and inviting. Gig Harbor is a fantastic charming town. I recommend checking it out. I know we will be back.

This hotel is well taken care of, and the staff are all friendly/kind. It is quiet which is nice for when you are working night shifts. I haven't met a team member that I dont enjoy the interaction. This place also makes me feel SAFE!

I was happy to not see homeless or drug dealers wondering the area. My car wasn't vandalized, Or my car wasn't broken into. Crime in the parking lot is my biggest concern. So far nothing has happened, But Washington state seems to be falling down hill with being a crime zone

In the interest of full disclosure, I like to pay attention to details so that I can provide a full and honest review for those that like more information. If you are looking for a decent bed and hot breakfast and don't really care about anything else, this place will fit the bill. If you want more detailed observations, keep reading. I stayed here on two separate occasions for multiple nights. This hotel has a lot of promise and they do get a lot of things right. The rooms are large, and the breakfast is what you would expect, (maybe lacking on a few options that other places offer like almond milk) but overall, they had several hot and cold options. There was a nice little kitchenette area in each room (I stayed two different times). with a fridge, microwave, and sink. My disappointment is mostly with the manager. Housekeeping had skipped my room two days in a row, I did not have the “do not disturb” sign on my door, they just skipped my room (I tipped generously each day). Honestly, since it was only me, it was not that big of a deal, I mostly needed a few new towels and my garbage emptied. The first day, I reached out to the front desk, and they ran up some towels and took my garbage, no big deal. I was sure to notify the front desk the next day that I would be out for the afternoon and welcomed housekeeping to freshen up the room. However, when I returned later in the day, the room was skipped again. When I approached the front desk to ask what happened I was rudely yelled at by Sue the manager and given a lecture on “grace” and that these are hard times and that they only have one cleaner. Honestly, I was really surprised because I was not rude, I only wanted to know why my room was being skipped so that I could avoid it again. I was really surprised because my other interactions with her and the front desk had been fine, to be fair maybe she was having a rough day. In addition to that incident, there were a few other things that I wasn't thrilled about. The staff does not wear masks, even though they are still under a state mandate to do so. I did not bring this up to anyone so to be fair, maybe they would have worn them if I had asked. I found it interesting that they have signs everywhere that they are following Best Western's guidelines as well as the CDC requirements, but they aren't. If they only have one housekeeper and they are skipping rooms then I can guarantee you that they are not doing any extra cleaning or sanitizing. Also, if you look at their replies to other reviews that mention the same thing, they just state a boilerplate response that they are following guidelines. What guidelines are they following? Certainly not State or CDC. Regardless, the mandate will be dropped soon in Washington State so this might be a moot point for some people but it was really telling to me as a customer. The rooms can be loud if you have anyone staying in the next room over, I heard the conversations and TV and I don't think they were trying to be overly loud on purpose, just really thin walls. Regarding noise, just a heads up that landscaping starts their leaf blowers at 7 A.M on Wednesday mornings, that's a fun way to wake up. Lastly, I realize not everyone will care to look this closely, I was disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the rooms. On first inspection, everything appears to be fine but when I stay somewhere, I tend to look at the details. Upon a closer look, the frames are dusty, the light switches were oily and dirty and the toiletry cady in the bathroom was crusted with soap and grime. I stayed two different times and both rooms had these issues. All of these things considered I will be making frequent trips to this area for a while so I think I will explore other accommodations.

The Gig Harbor location had an extremely clean lobby with good snack selection and a wonderful hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, french toast & waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and oatmeal! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful! Our room was very spacious (and it was just the basic king bed room), quiet, with nice amenities such as K-cups and good quality soaps and shampoos. We will 100% stay here again next time we visit. Everything was within a 10-minute drive of the hotel which was a plus!

This was just a quick, late evening check in for the night. The grounds and lobby reception was very well maintained. We didn't use any amenities, just the tv and the bed - very comfortable sleep! Thank you Gig Harbor, WA

I would have given the experience a 10 if there had not been the issue of the hotel not accepting AAA at check-out. As a note of humor; we got a kick out of noting the shower curtain had magnets to help keep the curtain in place while showering, but the tub was made of fiberglass, not metal. Funny.

Newer hotel. Grounds are well-kept nice outdoor pool and hot tub. Complementary Wall Street Journal. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast with hot eggs, sausage and French toast. The walls seem thin you can hear noise conversations from adjacent rooms. It's about a mile to the waterfront.

The State of WA has a mask mandate in place and though the hotel's website states they have a strict policy, the staff at the front desk were not wearing masks. We booked a meeting room for the day snd had to direct our clients through the pool entrance to avoid any contact with staff. We will not be using this venue again for our meetings and certainly will not advise our clients staying here.

Beautiful hotel right off the freeway and town. Close to pretty much everything including the water. The staff was very friendly and courteous. For a free breakfast it was very good compared to others that we have had. Nice big conference room.

Convenient location, very nice relaxing grounds, offset from major traffic, tucked away in green peaceful area yet close walking distance to local coffee, easy access to hwy 16 and local shopping. Free breakfast and coffee in the morning in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

Wonderful visit in picturesque Gig Harbor. Everything completed by competent, friendly employees, from reservations to check out. Great quiet setting, warm atmosphere, well appointed room and common area.

Imagine our surprise when we arrived at the front desk to check in and we were met with a desk clerk with no mask. I asked about it and he told me hotel management did not think they were necessary, so they did not wear them. We checked in anyway because it was late afternoon and did not want to find another hotel. This is in violation of the Washington State Health Department orders. We will never stay here again.

Rooms, hot breakfast, and location were all well done. The breakfast had oatmeal, cereal, sausage, eggs, muffins, and toast. Coffee available all day. Staff friendly & helpful. Rooms comfortable with refrigerator & microwave. Pool was closed & I only had one issue. Some of the staff were not wearing masks.

I was extremely disappointed that staff mostly wasn't wearing masks, despite a statewide mask mandate and despite us asking them to wear masks since we have young children at home. Staff also wasn't enforcing the mask mandate among guests - at least 50% of guests were not wearing masks either. The lack of COVID protocols and violating the law was quite concerning and really made us uncomfortable staying there. If you care about COVID protocols, I would recommend avoiding this hotel.

One of the best Best Western Hotels I have ever stayed in. Very friendly, helpful staff, facility was clean inside and out, quiet, swimming pool, and great breakfast. I would certainly stay there again as well as recommend it to friends.

I would've given this hotel a '10' because even though it's an older property, it is clean and has a lovely setting. However, the staff and guests did not wear masks throughout our stay, even though there's a mask mandate law in effect in the state of Washington. I would not recommend this hotel if you believe in staying safe, keeping others safe from COVID, and following the LAW.

Staff unfriendly and unresponsive. Breakfast is terrible. Hotel is clean and amenities standard. You're staying here because there are limited options in Gig Harbor. Pool closes early. Wifi slow. If you call the front desk, they will ask you to come down instead. They all seem inexperienced and not customer focused. Mattresses and pillows are poor.

I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel in Gig Harbor and it met my every expectation. Everything was super clean, the breakfast was plentiful with a nice variety of things to choose from, the bed and pillows were very comfy, it was quiet, nice view. The front desk staff was amazing and so friendly. I have not even one complaint about this place, Id stay there again and again!

The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Cleaning staff greeted you in the hall and cleaned the room beautifully. This Best Western is located right off the highway so convenient yet our room was quiet. I would stay here again.

My employer asked me to set up two separate reservations for his in-laws and mother. Sue Braaten was amazing in the reservation process and as our business contact. At check in, all had a wonderful experience with Jacob. He was upbeat, friendly, and most welcoming. He had the perfect attitude to represent the Wesley Inn to greet and welcome guests. The standard rooms were not available so they received an amazing upgrade. The rooms were well decorated and uniquely laid out. The nice variety of food at breakfast just really topped it all off. The family really enjoyed their leisurely stay and felt right at home.

The BW in Gig Harbor is a wonderful place to stay. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. They definitely know what great customer service is. Hot breakfast was very good and rooms spacious and clean. Pool area is very nice, although the pool was a little cool.

This Best Western, located in Gig Harbor, WA was close to everything....within one mile of the grocery store, coffee shop, the church we needed to attend due to a funeral, and the Waterfront. Beautiful flowers all around, and very clean lobby area.

This is a dirty hotel, the carpet turns your socks black, the heater/air con was loud, hair in the bathroom sink, pubic hair on the bath tub mat, hot tub full of kids and dirty, pool looked dirty and full of screaming kids. The breakfast was terrible. Requested to not be in a pet room and that's exactly where they put us, it smelled and was dirty.

I didn't have the highest expectations being a Best Western. However, at $200+ per night, I do expect clean sheets and fresh towels. We had two beds in our room, both had hairs in them when we pulled the sheets back. I told the front desk, they said they'd get the sheets changed. We got back from a long day and, while it did appear that the sheets had been changed, we still found hairs in the sheets. It was disgusting. We told the front desk again and they were dumbfounded. There were stains on the towels and crumbs in the “new” bowls at breakfast. While the staff was friendly, they didn't exceed our expectations when we found so many issues with our room. We checked out early and moved to an Airbnb.

Spent two nights at the Best Western Wesley in Gig Harbor. Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable rooms. Close to main street. Internet was fast and consistent. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast is what you would expect at at Best Western. Cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs and sausage.

We had a great stay in a quiet, larger than average 2 queen room. Love that the rooms have a fridge and microwave and that the hotel provides a delicious hot breakfast each morning. The hot tub wasn't hot when we were there, but it was late, so we didn't mention it to the front desk. The staff was incredibly helpful and cheerful.

We stay here regularly and love this place - it is the Best - Best Western that I have stayed - Great value for this type of hotel. They maintain a family and pet friendly atmosphere. Rooms are very clean and updated. Breakfast is very good - sausage, scrambled eggs, hot cinnamon rolls, cold cereal, bagels, muffins, milk, juice and coffee. Great pool (a bit small) and hot tube. Very nice landscaping with a fire pit. Aidan took amazing care of us at check in handling an incorrect room issue!! Hold on to the great staff that are employed - all are very friendly!! We will be back again and again.

Overall average stay at this hotel. Nothing I'd rave about to friends but I would stay again if needed. Pros: Room size, convenient location, very friendly front desk staff Cons: Walls were paper thin, we could hear our neighbors pretty easily. Bring ear plugs for sleeping if your a light sleeper! Breakfast was decent but not a wide selection. The stay was nothing special but not terrible either.

This was my second time staying at the Wesley Inn and I will definitely be back.There customer service is amazing and the warm cinnamon rolls in the morning hit the spot. The rooms are nice and very clean. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Our kids loved the pool & hot tub and the complimentary breakfast and internet make for great value! The property is centrally located in Gig Harbor with lots of activities to do and restaurants to try. We enjoyed walking the Gig Harbor waterfront!

The night clerk-Charles accused us of something we did not do and threatened to call police for no reason. We felt racially targeted and were treated like dirt by Charles. The hotel was given ample time to make things right, but refused to do so. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're a person of color.

This facility is very nice and extremely well maintained. My wife is exceptionally picky about cleanliness and even she was impressed. Also, the staff is very well trained and friendly. I truly cannot think of anything that could have been better.

The hotel was perfect for the price - but what stood out about this stay was the customer service. From the first phone call to the check-out the staff was one of the friendliest & most helpful we've experienced. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Overall my first impression of the Inn was that it was nice. However, the first morning there, I went out to get the breakfast at 0630, which is the time it was stated it would be ready, only to find nothing there. I was traveling with my dog, and I could not leave him in the room, according to the rules, so I had him with me. Thinking it would only be a few minutes wait, we waited. ten minutes go go and still no breakfast. Finally a woman saunters out from the kitchen o tell me I can't have the dog in the area. I told her I came out only to get breakfast, which clearly was not ready. She stated, "its there". She came in late and breakfast was late, but decided it was a good time to tell ME the rules. Would not stay here again, There are other pet friendly hotels in this area where you do not have to "guess" what time breakfast might be when traveling with a pet.

The outside of this Best Western was beautiful! I asked for an early check in and got a call hours beforehand saying my room was ready! The staff was so kind and took an interest in my stay. The lobby, common areas and room were clean and modern. We had a great stay!

The facility is clean and inviting, the rooms are clean and refreshing, and the whole experience was wonderful. Everyone at the Inn were cheerful and friendly!! I will definitely stay here every time I come to Gig Harbor, WA

Our handicapped accessible room was recently redecorated and immaculately clean. The evening man at the desk, Aiden, was lovely and kept his mask on properly the entire time we talked. Can't say the same about the day crew. They were friendly, but mask wearing was nearly nonexistent among those other than room cleaners. Sue, in particular, came very near us without a mask. I asked her if she had one and she raised a very loosely woven scarf partially over her nose and mouth. Most of the time it was just around her neck. We are both in high risk groups. We would not have traveled away from home except that a tree fell on our house and we had to vacate. Our insurer paid for a week's stay. These comments pertain to our first night, a Monday.

My wife and I wanted to get away from home for a night so we decided to stay at the Wesley Inn. The staff at check in was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. Our stay was altogether enjoyable and a nice break from being stuck at home. We wanted a change of scenery for a night and the Wesley Inn hit the spot.

I have never had to stay in a hotel in the Puget Sound area before because I have lived here all of my life. Just recently, however, during the pandemic I have given up my apartment and am staying across the state temporarily. I was in town for doctors' appointments and needed a place to stay. The hotel is quiet, clean and welcoming. You walk into a spacious lobby and either directly back to ground-floor rooms or up a wide staircase to another floor of rooms. It was easy to socially-distance, and the rooms seemed very clean. I did not feel it was necessary to sanitize anything myself. The remote, for example had been intentionally and carefully placed on the bar under the TV next to the ice bucket and cups. The host also explained that they not only sanitize after a guest checks out but again before another guest checks into the rooms. The rooms are not fancy, but they are nice. They are large and well-appointed with a nice desk area where I was able to do some work. The bed was comfortable. The host took care to give me a room per my request at the far side of the hotel away from the parking lot, and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Both the night desk host and the day hostess were extremely helpful and pleasant. You can walk 3 minutes to a great Indian restaurant for takeout (one of my favorite restaurants in the Gig Harbor-Tacoma area), and there is also a coffee/sandwich shop right on the property. The town of Gig Harbor with brewery, distillery, other restaurants, shops is just a 5-minute drive down the street. I ran out right away to pick up takeout and a couple of grocery items from the Bartell's nearby and was back to my room and snug for the night in a jiffy. I didn't want to leave!

I have to say, the people that worked here were really friendly, helpful and wonderful! And this establishment did allow dogs, which we so appreciated. We had a suite, (room # 149) and the bathroom itself was small and pretty crammed space plus the sink in it was so small, although we did appreciate having a vanity with sink outside the bathroom. The room was outdated, and sadly was a big disappointment. The breakfast the next day, considering the whole Covid-19 was going on, was really nicely done, with a pretty big variety, some items were packaged up, but that was fine, and something for everyone really; much better than alot of the other hotels we have been to, so that was a plus! It was located pretty far from the waterfront part of town, so we had to drive there. I doubt we would stay there again.

We selected this property due to location and the fact that you can get a truck and trailer in and out of the parking lot without problems. The hotel is nice and seems new; room was very comfortable and had a sink, fridge and small counter. Speedy wifi, comfortable bed; near many restaurants. Very clean.

As we enter a renewed COVID lockdown, this property had a lack awareness and enforcement of masks and social distancing. There is no signage or enforcement of safety protocols. Housekeeping and breakfast staff did not wear masks or wore them on their chins. A front desk person was not wearing a mask due to health issue. At Hyatts and Hiltons, a staff person with a health issue would have to wear a face shield. The property is nice and clean. However, I can not give a positive review due to the hotels lack of awareness and caring about the safety of their guests and staff during this pandemic.

We had a lovely, large, ground level room for a 4-night stay. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast offerings were exceedingly generous considering the Covid restrictions. There was a nice balance of hot and cold choices plus excellent pre-packaged choices as well. The staff is friendly and excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Our dog liked it, too.

We flew in to town to be with a family member for surgery. Because of Covid, we were not allowed to go into the hospital to wait during the procedure and our rental property was over an hour away. I called Wesley Inn & Suites and explained my situation to Bleu, who was very compassionate and understanding. He offered us a room for the day at an accommodating rate. In addition, when we arrived, he offered us the hotel breakfast buffet at no additional charge. The room was pleasant and nicely arranged. Nothing fancy, but clean with all the necessities and then some. We had access also to free wifi and a great working desk area. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely seek to book a room here.

Clean, nice and friendly staff. Great breakfast and items available it you had to grab and go. Pool and hot tub was maintained very well and the grounds were well taken care of as well. Laundry on site was also available.

I absolutely love this hotel, and the quaint waterfront town. It's basic, but the grounds and staff are amazing. If you are looking for an enjoyable stay, especially if traveling with kids or a dog, this is the place.

Love the property, staff are the most friendly you'll ever meet! Not your typical Best Western. Highly recommend. They have a comfortable outdoor and hot tub area along with an outdoor lounge with fire pit for relaxing. Close proximity to downtown Gig Harbor where there are so many great food options.

Room was nice and spacious, we had a room with fireplace and jacuzzi tub.we tried to use the jacuzzi tub but water was really yellow like dark urine was really gross!! After running the jets and draining the tub, it left a black fleck residue in the tub. When we checked out and told the front desk this, they said to run the water 15 to 20 minutes to get it clear. Would have been nice to know that in advance. Only for this I gave it a three if it wasn't for this it would have been a 5.

Wonderful hotel clean rooms lots of room. Centrally located in a great area. The breakfast each morning was wonderful not just continental it had everything from oatmeal to eggs and hashbrowns to begals, cereal, pancakes. The staff were friendly. I would definetely stay here again.

Spent the weekend exploring Gig Harbor. Booked in for two nights in a king jacuzzi suite with fireplace. Efficient and friendly check-in. Room was clean. Enjoyed the typical buffet breakfast found at most Best Westerns. Will return if we're ever in the neighbourhood again.

My husband and I were in Gig Harbor WA for the Valentines weekend and stayed at Best West Gig Harbor and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel staff was very friendly, our room was clean and spacious. We are looking forward to our next visit in this area and staying at this location again.

My wife was working in Gig Harbor for the week and I tagged along. We normally do not stay in Best Western hotels but this was the nicest and best rated hotel in town. After staying there, I can see why. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bed had a standard king sized hotel mattress.It looks like the room had been recently refurbished. It was clean, well maintained and comfortable. The internet was very fast. A couple of things that stood out were the staff and the breakfast. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Not sure if they were family but they made us feel like family. The breakfast was amazing. It included homemade touches not usually found at a hotel. We had biscuits and gravy made from scratch one day and freshly made scones another day. This is in addition to the standard scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. One day they also had breakfast sandwiches which looked great. Although we should, we normally do not tip the breakfast preparer (chef) but this time we did. Also, there was coffee and hot water and a wide range of teas available 24 hours per day. The coffee was very good but if you are a Starbucks fan, it is only a short (driving) distance away. Overall it was an amazing stay and will stay there again whenever we are in the area.

We Really enjoyed staying at this Best Western property. It was very clean, the rooms were really nice, the breakfast was great, the employees were wonderful. I only wish we had more time just stay there instead of our activities that we had planned.

This is a great place to stay. The breakfast provided was wonderful (just would suggest a little more variety of egg dishes from day to day for those staying an extended period). Otherwise, the staff was WONDERFUL! They accommodated us very nicely when our daughter was in the hospital for surgery and ended up having to stay longer than anticipated with a few complications. The hotel staff were gracious to extend our stay on a daily basis and do everything in their power to accommodate unforeseen circumstances. They were all very professional yet caring and accommodating to help meet our needs. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gig Harbor.

This is a great and comfortable hotel. The staff are outstanding and I felt right at home. I had doubted the high ranking of the hotel, but it proved to be outstanding and it deserves the highest of ratings!

Beautifully decorated lobby, thorough orientation from front desk upon arrival, unbeatable breakfast, tight security of property, nicely updated rooms - bravo on the bathroom redo, comfortable beds, everything working properly, in-room microwave, refrig and coffee maker. Great stay.

The hotel staff at the Best Western Wesley inn & suites were amazing, not just one or two staff members, but all of them. It was very refreshing to experience such good service during my stay on 12/13/2019. we are living in a world where good customer service seems like a thing of the past. So when you do finally get great service you appreciate it so much more.

This property is close enough off Highway 16 to be super convenient, but tucked far enough away from the highway to be extremely quiet. I was staying on a comp-ed night and they gave me a king suite with a jetted tub OMG! right next to the fireplace! The bed was extremely comfortable, too. I will definitely stay here again, though I'd never be able to afford THAT beautiful room! Wow! Super friendly employees!

My wife and I stayed here because she had surgery that day and a follow up the next day. Was very impressed with this property right from the beginning. Super clean, lots of parking fairly easy to get to. This Inn is only one exit away from St. Anthony's; so if you have a day procedure and don't want to drive all the way home this is the place to stay. The round about's getting to the hotel and the hospital are a mess so take your time and know where your going. The staff went above and beyond for me "thank you" The only negative i can say is the side/far end door closes at 7 pm and does not open with your room key.

Recently visited and stayed for almost a week. Clean hotel and helpful staff. Beds comfortable. Simple, attractive decor. Good breakfast selection (considering no cost). Wish the hot tub operated in winter. No workout facility on premises. Convenient location in town.

The room was larger than we expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Breakfast was really good. The room was very clean with a small refrigerator to keep our bottled water and snacks in.

Each time I stay at Best Western I am greeted quickly, with smiles and friendly talk. The rooms are very clean and inviting, with enough amenities to make me feel comfortable. The morning breakfast is very good and the lounge area is inviting.

ManGer made sure we were on the quiet side of the hotel. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and we were next to someone who thought a party at midnight was appropriate. The room was clean, nothing too special but the amenities like the refrigerator and welcome chocolates were a nice touch. We didn't get the chance to enjoy the breakfast but they did have coffee ready to go when we left at 5:00. am.

Beautiful location, very quiet surroundings; rooms were outstanding and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, a wide variety of choices. We received excellent service from all staff at this hotel, wish we could have extended our stay.

This was our first time in Gig Harbor. This is a nice place to stay. We did not spend a lot of time in our room. We stayed in room 259 that is a two bedroom suite. It is a bit odd in that there is only one bathroom and it's in one of the bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own sink which is helpful. It is a very spacious room with a full kitchenette. Housekeeping was the only issue we ran into. Three of us stayed four nights. Housekeeping did not replace all the amenities each day or leave enough towels for three people some days. On our last night we returned to our room around 1am to find it had not been cleaned at all. After a long day outand just wanting to climb into a clean bed I was disappointed. I walked to the front desk to talk to the attendant. He was apathetic about our situation. I expected him to apologize. He did ask what we needed and came to the room with the items but did not seem concerned about apologizing for the lack of service. When I checked out I was asked about my stay and let the lady know about housekeeping. I got kind of the same response. We did eat breakfast one morning and there were a lot of choices to pick from. I did enjoy the food. The mattress in our room was rather firm for me. I had a sore hip from lying on my side.

I so appreciate the little things like water bottles and mini chocolate bars in the room, fun amenities and and grab and go food (hard boiled eggs and string cheese) along with a wonderful free breakfast.

Checkin wasca last minute thing. I got a room next to a utility closet and a hallway on two sides. Between the noise from upstairs and hallway noise there was constant noise up till midnight and starting again at 5 AM or so

This is the place to stay if visiting Gig Harbour. We stayed as a couple for three nights in early August 2019. We booked this hotel because it has a lovely little pool and jacuzzi. My wife and I were received by a really friendly lady on reception and although we were well before check in time we were allocated our room on the ground floor very quickly indeed. We were delighted with our room. It was very spacious and looked out on the pool area. The bathroom(with bath) was excellent with toiletries provided and good quality towels which were changed every day. The bed was really comfortable and we had coffee/tea making facilities and a fridge in the room. We had absolutely no complaints and enjoyed a restful few days after a busy period in Seattle. Breakfast was first class and buffet style. It is provided in the hotel foyer and there is plenty of space for everyone. We absolutely loved use of the little heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi. The hotel is serviced by the little holiday trolley bus which leaves just across the road and covers both Downtown and Uptown Gig Harbour. It costs very little and in fact is free for seniors. Loved it. We really enjoyed our visit to Gig Harbour. Staying in this hotel was a pleasure.

Fantastic staff, clean, comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast with plenty of seating. The grounds are clean and absolutely beautiful. There is a courtyard with an outdoor fireplace. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

The hotel is beautiful but the staff are what makes this place special. They went out of their way to help a family in need of a room in a hurry at midnight. We felt like we belonged there. I won't stay anywhere else!

From check in to check out the situation was not handled as one would expect. I have stayed in hotels over 1,500 nights with extensive business travel. This place did not offer the best rate when I called and asked for it - fould one $30 less per night online. When I asked about it by phone they then offered the rate. Only to let me know on arrival that the rate was wrong online. Of course by then I was already there and did not have tie to consider other options. Why was I calling - specifically to see about a late check out. Otherwise I would have simply booked on line. The rate question alone would not have prompted this review. We were told our room was on the deluxe wing - if you call deluxe wing rooms that have not access other than a stairway leading uo to them I guess that is deluxe. When e were sold this deluxe option on the phone the size of the room was mentioned as larger but the stairway only arrival was not mentioned. We literally loaded a cart with all our road trip items that included a cooler only to have to unload it all to carry it up the stairs from the second floor (to which we rode an elevator) to our delux wing. We were also sold on a balcony - the balcony looked out to a busy frontage road. It added nothing. BUT now the reason for the negative review. Remember why I had called to book rather than just booking online. It was to know we could have the late check out. I was told Noon wouldn't be a problem but 1 pm may be a stretch as it was the busy season but to simply call the AM of departure. We did this and the person, SUE, who answered the phone was rude and uninterested in our situation and said NO - out by 11! She was also rude related to the internet wireless question I asked. Also the hook on the back of the bathroom door needs to be fixed, wasn't on door securely so no hook in bathroom. Also get some desk lamps with USB or power in then, this is 2019.

We stayed at this hotel on June 16, 2019 for one night. We chose a room that had a king and a queen bed because we had three adults. The room was very large with enough room to even add another king bed. There was a gas fire place in the room which would have been nice in the winter. This is an older hotel that is very well kept with modern updates to the rooms and public areas. JJ at the front desk was very helpful and Wesley (the dog) was also very friendly and came and greeted each of us. The included breakfast was almost your standard hotel food. We were told that there was homemade cinnamon rolls on the weekends. There were no rolls or sweets of any kind. This hotel is a little pricey but for one night we enjoyed our stay.

I have stayed at this Best Western frequently when I have business in town, and overall it's a quality hotel that I used to like. They've done some recent upgrades in some or all of the rooms that look really nice. The breakfast spread is very well done with many choices (although I hate the gross powdered eggs with something crunchy in them!), but it gets really, really boring if you are staying there multiple days as it seems only one item changes on occasion (french toast to cinnamon rolls). This last time I stayed in room 112 which is the first room on the left if you take a left at the main hallway on the lower level. I left early the next morning and had my "do not disturb" sign up only until I left at 8:20 am. The cleaners never came that day. I wasn't pleased to return and see that they hadn't come. OK, I can let that go, but then at 1:30 am I was awakened by 2 men having a loud conversation on the patio right outside my room. I had to call the desk to ask them to quiet down. The hallway was really noisy too from about 5 am on and whoever was above me in 212 (cleaners maybe?) had some giant lead feet, so it was a very poor night's sleep. I had gone to the front desk that day to request a late check out for my last morning there since I didn't have an appointment until 11:30 am the next day and really needed to make up that sleep (I spoke with Charles I believe), but I was awakened by the gardener with a leaf blower right outside my window at 8:30 am!! WTH?! I got up and closed the window, and then saw him spraying what was likely Roundup in the patio a foot from my window that had been open. I would have wanted to know what I was being exposed to and sure didn't expect to be woken up by hotel staff. I tried to sleep again, but never did make up that lost sleep (noisy hallway and bigfoot upstairs again). At exactly 11:00 am the phone rang and a very rude male staff member wanted to know why I hadn't checked out yet. I reminded him that I had asked for a late checkout and he said, "I don't see it in the computer" and he had an attitude like therefore you need to get out NOW which I found most insulting, especially because I'm disabled and those extra minutes were vital to me. He wanted to know exactly when I'd be out and was not nice about it. I literally needed 20 or 25 minutes over the 11:00 checkout. What was the big hurry?? I felt so rushed I left without my leg braces on and set the keys on the desk as I left and I heard him yell condescendingly behind me, "Thank you ma'am." Ugh, why the need to be rude? Why the heck are there no quiet hours (so many hotels post signs in the hallways now), where was the cleaning crew on this trip, and why does that particular manager have to be so darn rude? When I got home I cancelled the 7 day stay I have coming up and booked a lovely casita in a private Airbnb home for a much more peaceful stay.

Superb hotel, clean quiet super large rooms, in excellent location. Staff are welcoming, friendly, helpful and efficient. Convenient for all amenities within Gig Harbor area, or highway if transiting through.

This hotel had the nicest and most friendly staff. We had a great time in the heated outdoor pool. The property was well maintained and very clean. The location was great and in walking distance to several food locations.

We traveled from Long island NY to Gig Harbor for a family wedding. We had cousins come in from all over the country and we all stayed at this hotel. It is by far the BEST Best Western I have ever stayed at! The rooms are spacious and CLEAN! All staff members were extremely pleasant,kind,and.helpful. The lobby decor is warm and inviting. The complimentary breakfast was delicious,always hot and refilled quickly. If I ever come back to this area there is no doubt about it,I will definitely stay here again! Thank you Best Western for getting it right, all your hotels should follow in Gig Harbors foot steps!

We attended my son's graduation at University of Puget Sound but stayed in Gig Harbor for the convenience of not having to navigate downtown Tacoma. We went down to the water front at Gig Harbor for some nice walks and dinner. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. My mom came down with a bad cold and they helped with extra tissue and helped my dad bring breakfast up to here in the room so she didn't have to get out of bed. The $6 toll to go into Tacoma was worth it and lines at the booths never took more than an extra minute or two.

I travel often and find this room above average. Very specious! Friendly staff and a quiet location that's not far from restaurants. I've added this to my list of hotels I will definitely use again. Great place to stay!

This was by far the best Best Western I've ever stayed at. It was so clean and everyone was so nice. To top it off, they greeted my dog with a stuffed animal and treat! I will definitely be returning to this location.

We have been at this hotel twice now and will likely stay again soon as we have family in the area. The staff is wonderful, the hotel is nice, the rooms are huge and clean. There are real coffee cups and glassware provided in the room which is such a nice touch. Parking is easy. While the access from the highway is simple, you'd never know you are so close to it.

The hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Gig Harbor, especially if you're needing to visit the Hanger Clinic. They offer discounted rooms for your stay. They are very understanding and supportive for those with special needs. This is the only place we stay when we go to Gig Harbor.

We've stayed in this hotel a few times and the rooms are always super clean and the staff is very helpful. The additional sink and counter space outside of the bathroom is a huge benefit if you are traveling with family. Breakfast was great and I love that they always have coffee and water available in the lobby. And it's good coffee!! Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great hotel and amazing staff however I was charged an extra $25 fee that was never explained to me. Contacted the hotel with no response back. I would recommend this hotel due to the quality of service and cleanliness of the room but I would caution that you will be charged hidden fees.

Very comfortable hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast good, with hot and cold food. One day had smoothies as an option. About a mile from downtown, near Starbucks, Indian restaurant next door.

We were visiting relatives in Tacoma and decided to stay out of town across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in Gig Harbor. We were looking for a quiet hotel with easy access to the highway. Because of the Trip Advisor ratings, we selected the Best Western. First and foremost, the care and attention of the staff was excellent. We were greeted immediately in a friendly and professional manner letting us know that we were important guests. We felt welcomed, and that we mattered. I had requested an ADD room, and it more than met the needs of my wife's mobility issues with plenty of room to maneuver and grab bars all throughout the bathroom. The room was comfortable, and well laid out, clean, and the bed was a pleasure to sleep on. We brought our own pillows, but this time we didn't need them. The morning breakfast was very nice, with eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, toast, oatmeal, juice, coffee, etc and a complementary copy of the Wall Street Journal to read, and NO TVs PLAYING IN THE BREAKFAST ROOM (just nice soothing music). Overall, the stay was excellent and we would come back again and recommend it to others. As with all hotels, there are always a few issues we have to accept, and two that we experienced were lighting and noise. I have found few hotel rooms with good lighting for just sitting and reading a book or magazine other than in bed. Our room had very comfy chairs, but even pulling one up next to the table and moving the table lamp close to the chair helped a little. Noise is always a problem in some hotels. Our next door neighbor wanted to watch TV when we wanted to sleep. I thought the walls were a little "thin" so that we could hear people talking and laughing in a next-door conference room. But, that's why we bring earplugs with us. Neither of these issues are show-stoppers, nor should they detract from the many other fine attributes of this hotel. Overall, it was a good stay, and we were well rested and well fed when we left the following morning.

This hotel is excellently located near downtown and just far enough from the freeway to be very quiet. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Their recommendations for local restaurants were just what we were looking for.

The hotel is nice and it was clean and the staff was friendly. However, the room was over priced for the off season. And they charged us $5 parking because we booked through a third party agency. There is no justification for charging for parking in a very non populated area during off season. We were told that the breakfast was a full choice of food selections but I've never seen such a small amount of options.

When the snow falls and the staff meet you in the drive with shovels and help push you into spaces, you know you choose the right Hotel! I got stuck sideways in the middle off the lot trying to back into a space and in less than a minute a friendly hand was there to shovel out a snow block in the rear, push me back, until I get traction and back into my space.

Absolutely, one of the best hotels. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Very very clean. I would recommend to stay there. Will be back there the first chance we can get back there. Highly recommend to stay there!!

We were hit with a storm that forced us from our home. We turned to our local Best Western in Gig Harbor, and they met all our needs. We were pretty much confined to the Inn for three days to wait out the storm. The room was excellent, the staff extraordinary in seeing to our needs, and the owners were one top of things during a difficult time in managing a power outage and over a foot of snow making access difficult. We know where to go if this sort of thing confronts us again.

Front desk staff was right on top of things. Pleasant place to stay. Quite enough for a day time nap... But enough going on to be an active place to stay. Pool and Hot Tub outside and down for the winter... But they looked nice and easy to get to. Free Breakfast was Flavorful, Easy Fresh and large enough area to not be crowded. Sue at the Front Desk was very nice and easy to work with.

Great staff, service orientated. Attention to detail. Nice presentation of furniture in lobby. Breakfast had a nice variety and a few nice surprises. Room was comfortable, clean. Pride of management and team at this location is clear.

Great place. We have stayed there every year for the past 4 and it's been great each time. Terrific staff. Clean, comfortable room. Decorated outside for Christmas. Super friendly guy prepared breakfast.

We stayed there for a get away mid week, dinner at the Green Turtle. Was very good locaiton not walking distance (at least not in the winter) but close to town. Very clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Nice strong coffee :)

Had a great experience with a very friendly staff and a very comfortable room. All was quite and they were helpful in giving us a recommendation for dinner. They were putting up the Christmas tree & took our pic with Wesley the dog. Nice people :)

Well run hotel nestled among the trees in Gig Harbor. Our king room had a microwave and a small refrigerator. We stay here on our way to Port Angeles to catch the MV Coho for our annual Victoria vacation. The drive through Tacoma is always awful, so we get over the Pass, through Tacoma then settle in here for a quiet evening.

Wonderful hotel and great location! Easy walk to the waterfront- great restaurants and fun shopping. Hotel is well cared for and I would highly recommend it for small meetings and/or special events. It is obvious that the staff takes pride in what they do, and they truly care about creating a memorable guest experience.

Reservations: I spoke directly with the hotel. They could not have been more friendly and accommodating with room preference request. Breakfast included: 6:30am-9:30am M-F and until 10am on the weekends. A FULL breakfast buffet. Scrambled eggs, link sausage, various breads, pre-made waffles, (GREAT homemade cinnamon buns on the weekends), juices, coffee, various teas, ingredients for making power shakes (including protein powder) and use of a Bullet-type smoothie maker. Nice addition!!! The room: spacious, clean, complimentary wi-fi, nice soaps/toiletries, small fridge, small microwave oven, extra pillow (in a sleeve), and blanket in the closet. Suite room: a colleague stayed here. The room was spacious and had a gas fireplace. Front desk staff: Very pleasant and helpful. They graciously and generously acknowledged a special occasion for me. Location: Conveniently located a short drive from the historic harbor, restaurants, pizza restaurants (several of which deliver). We watched the OWNER assisting with breakfast activities, behind the desk and interacting with guests. Business meeting and group dinner: there is no restaurant at the hotel but our group (through the hotel), had made arrangements for a lunch and dinner. The food was catered. A baked potato bar with a salad at lunch was disappointing as a number of people indicated that their baked potato was not fully cooked. The salad and multiple toppings for the potato, were good. The dinner provided was GREAT! Options were salmon or chicken. All at our table chose the salmon. It was a VERY GENEROUS portion, perfectly cooked and tasted delicious! Parking: There is a $5 per night parking charge. Bottom line: This is a VERY nice Best Western Plus motel. We enjoyed the area and enjoyed our stay at this particular motel. We WILL return and stay here again.

Our house flooded and we needed a hotel that worked with our insurance, and could accommodate our dog. The Gig Harbor Best Western was AWESOME! The staff were so kind and caring. They really made a difficult experience better (and fun for my 13 year old daughter). Every morning they had treats for our dog! The front lobby was like a comfortable living room/coffee house and was a great place to meet up with friends. What a surprising and great experience!

Stayed 4 nights at the Best Western visiting relatives. Positive notes, quiet, great afternoon and evening staff, very helpful, outside and lobby attractive and a great breakfast buffet, you could smell the cinnamon rolls coming down the steps. Negative notes, The hotel for the price could use some updates. The room was large, somewhat updated - the beds were hard and creaked - felt that they needed to upgrade the sheets - they were yellow looking and the material had stubs, a sign of sheets washed too many times - not convenient to downtown, did not have a car - no restaurants, shops or services in the general area - bathroom was not cleaned one day - bathroom door had no hook to hang clothes and the door needed to be stained or painted. Close to a major highway, could hear traffic noise at night.

This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Best Western has great hotels all over the US, but the staff, rooms, and overall experience at Wesley Inn and Suites was FANTASTIC! If ever in Gig Harbor, WA...book at Best Western Wesley Inn and Suites.

Everything about this place is good except for one important thing. The walls are paper thin. You can hear people walking and talking in the hallway. Somebody came in next door at 11:30 p.m. and you could hear the person walking around the room. On the other side at 4:30 a..m.. we heard people making banging noises which stopped after I banged on the wall . Bring earplugs if you stay here.

I was on my way to Port Angeles but after a long flight to Seattle, I wanted a place to stay on the way but not in Tacoma. I discovered Gig Harbor , a little town nestled within the woods and near the water. Wesley Inn was nestled within these woods in a very quiet location but not far from the express way (easy on and off). The hotel is in excellent shape and the rooms are spacious. I stayed in a junior suite (upgrade) and was impressed. Itv was huge. It included a kitchen-like counter and sink and a fridge larger than the usual mini fridges found in many rooms. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom/shower had all I needed. I especially liked the classy amenities. The service was great as well. The hotel is relatively close to supermarkets. The breakfast was very simple/limited: the cut fruit was pineapple and watermelon (?), the breads were not identified (whole grain?) while the cereal did have labels! All in all though, I will stay here more often when on my way up north.

This is the second time we've stayed here. The location is always perfect for us, short drive to the harbor and around some shopping and food. Always appreciate a room with full length and extra mirrors around so the bathroom isn't the only place to get ready. Nice quiet room on 2nd floor. Wish for pillows that aren't quite so fluffy which hurt my neck. On our trip we had free breakfast at a Hyatt and a Holiday Inn, and this was our favorite-not all gluten. Easy parking. Cute seating area to the side and would love to try outdoor pool sometime when not so smoky from all the fires. Not a new hotel but kept up and friendly staff!

Our room was $300 per night and the quality did not correspond. There was a $5 parking charge, which is pretty weak outside a metropolitan area. Our room was dated and had a funky smell. The staff was well trained and helpful. The breakfast was also a nice touch. Location is good and bad (good is that it is close to highway and easy to find, bad is that there is nothing within walking distance) IGNORE RATINGS BELOW as it won't let me register anything but

Beautiful, clean, quiet, friendly. Rooms are nice and very comfortable. This is a great little gem. Best hotel I stayed at on this trip. If you're in the Seattle/Tacoma area I'd highly recommend a stay here.

This is a lovely hotel nestled in “the woods”. It has an outdoor pool which our kids really enjoy. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff are professional and friendly. They offer a complimentary breakfast which is very convenient. We come here every year. They treat us like family.

If you find yourself in Gig Harbor and need a hotel this Best Western will surprise you. The rooms are huge. They have a full breakfast with gluten free options available. There was fresh fruit, herbal teas, breakfast potatoes (they had butter so I had to pass), scrambled eggs. The outside of the hotel looks more like an apartment complex and all the flowers are beautiful. There's even a heated pool. The room has a microwave and small fridge. At 1am I realized we were out of bathroom tissue and they delivered new supplies within 5 minutes. It was very easy to stay there. Highly recommend.

This hotel is still locally owned and they will treat you like a local/family. We had to be out of the house due to having our floors redone and the hotel staff went above and beyond by offering us the use of the swimming pool the day before we came and letting us check in early. The breakfast was good. Just a walk down the hill and your in the heart of the Harbor. Clean, comfortable, quite and many places to sit and visit with family or friends.

The Best Western Wesley Inn in Gig Harbor Washington is an excellent hotel in Washington. We were there for one night on a road trip with our daughter. Welcoming and accommodating are the first impressions we had. We were allowed to check in early and even given an upgraded room. The hotel is on the trolley line in Gig Harbor. Very convenient. The morning breakfast was excellent. I strongly recommend this hotel !

We recently stayed over the course of 10 days while waiting for our townhome to be ready for move-in. While a hotel experience is great for the kids, it is a strain for the adults living out of suitcases and a car full of household goods. The staff and amenities at Best Western made our stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend the Wesley Inn for any traveler coming to Gig Harbor!

Took a trip to Gig Harbor for my husband to be fitted with an ExoSym orthotic device at Hanger Clinic. Best Western has a special and exceptionally reasonable rate for clients at Hanger. Customer service, handicap accessible room, rate and amenities are the reasons we will stay at Best Western when we return.

Nice smaller property, family owned. The room was very quiet and comfortable for the 3 nights I was there. Excellent breakfast included for the cost and the internet was good. Convenient location and quite. Nice stay.

Beautiful exterior and far from the worst hotel I've ever stayed. But overall it's not a place I'd choose to stay again. I travel for work and stay at Best Westerns most of the time. But being Diamond Select status doesn't seem to mean much of anything at this location. I truly feel I was given a substandard room. I'm currently staying in room 112. I'm lucky that I'm here for work and have to get up early anyway because my room is right next to the lobby and elevators so I have to hear everything. On top of that, the air conditioning unit for the lobby is outside my window as well as a lounging area. So it's noisy. And that's without my upstairs neighbor walking around. Thank you Ambien for making sleep possible. There are also several things I find annoying about the interior of the room. Some of them minor, but collectively they've made my likelihood of staying here again unlikely. But first. The good. 1. Building is attractive. 2. Their amenities work. 3. Staff is friendly. 4. Breakfast is genuinely good. I've had enough powdered eggs and dry turkey sausage to last me a lifetime (looking at you Fairfield Marriott in Bremerton) This place is a step above when it comes to hotel fare. 5. Pet friendly and have a cute dog on site as a greeter. :) 6. Surrounding area is very attractive with plenty of shops a short walk/drive away. 7. A trolly stop across the street that costs a dollar and takes you to different spots. 8. The beds are good. Maybe not as good as my sleep number bed at home, but my back didn't hurt on these and my pressure points were not achy in the morning. Now the annoyances: 1. The curtains. The patio area is right outside my window. They have blackout curtains but no sheers on the window for privacy. So I can open the curtains for light, but no privacy. Or keep them closed for privacy but have no natural light in the room. 2. The window unit. It works great, but the vents cause it to blow directly at the bed. So if I get it as chilly as I like it in the room, I've got the full blast hitting me while I sleep. My solution has been to create a pillow fort wall to block the air. 3. The refrigerator is tiny. I like to get some food to have at the hotel and that's not possible here. I barely had room to fit the water I bought into it. And the freezer compartment is extra tiny. Smallest fridge I've seen in a hotel room to date. 4. USB plugs. They have an alarm clock with USB ports on one side. But the other has nothing. Either bring an extension cord or be prepared to dig behind the mattress to find the outlet hidden there. 5. The tv isn't centered to the bed, and while it is wall mounted, it can't be tilted or turned to make viewing better (it's a small thing I know. But I'm annoyed now) 6. Then the noise again. Honestly. If you book here, ask for a room away from the elevators and off the first floor. I came in really late and just took what they gave me. It's been unfortunate. Overall it's a decent hotel, but the room I'm in has left me with a poor impression and no desire to repeat the experience.

I choose to stay at this hotel on business . I booked a room for a week-long stay . After awhile in the room, I noticed a lot of loud guest noise happening above me which perpetually kept going on, including running and furniture moving and some sort of ball dropping repeatedly for over 4 hours . It was particularly important for me to get a decent night's rest , and so I visited the front desk , explaining the noise situation to the front desk assistant (named JJ) and requesting a different room . She initially refused , telling me that it was too late in the day to change rooms, that she was worried that she would get in trouble with her boss , and that she couldn't move me because changing rooms "cost the hotel money " . I said that I really preferred to change to different room and asked again. She replied "Fine!" and seemed upset and angry, but did assign me another room . The second room was an improvement during the next two days of my stay, until I began to notice cigarette smoke coming into the room , which ended up being someone smoking below my window on the first floor and in a more remote part of the building area directly below my room . I ignored it but after it happened a few times, I decided the following day that it truly was a problem and that I needed to talk to someone about changing rooms . This time I approached the front desk , I encountered Sue , the hotel manager and owner , who was immediately rude and dismissive to me, and was bristling with hostility and attitude. Sue declared that she was "not going to move me" , even accusing me of moving four times , which was obviously incorrect. I thought maybe she's having a bad day or had misinformation , which she acknowledged she did have misinformation , but remained unapologetic , just as rude or more so than her assistant JJ , and still refused to move me at my request . She also repeated to me what JJ had said , that it cost her money to change rooms , which apparently was at the true root of her refusals . I travel much of time on business at various hotels and I have to say that I've never been treated in such a demeaning way by a hotel manager . It was nearly laughable, if it hadn't been so insulting . I'll never stay at this hotel location again because of this negative experience I cannot recommend it to anyone because should they have an issue , I wouldn't want them to be treated as I was . Also, on another note , I booked this hotel with the understanding that parking as included with my room rate and total cost , and yet the hotel charged my credit card for daily parking fees.

As soon as we walked into this hotel we knew it was special. The people behind the desk were fully engaged in welcoming us and ensuring that our stay was everything we wanted it to be. Our room was light and airy, with leafy trees just outside, filled with birdsong. It was great having the tub, toilet and sink inside the bathroom, and another deep sink in the main room, near the coffeemaker and microwave. The lighting in the room is rather dim. Nice desk, plenty of outlets. Good internet. Breakfast was considerably better than what is on offer at most hotels, and the staff in the kitchen was outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure that guests had what they wanted and that the food was constantly restocked. And no TV in the breakfast room, which we consider to be a big plus. Large comfortable lobby. Gated pool with tables and chairs--good for families. We would have used the fire pit outside the front door, but it was raining--still, a novel idea. It's a long walk down the hill to the harbor, but if you take the route through Grandview Park, it's a nice walk along a quiet path and then through a residential area (ask the front desk to tell you how to do). Highly recommended both for the physical layout of the rooms and the hotel, and the outstanding service of employees in every department.

Incredible value. Top notch service. Excellent room layout. Great kitchenette area. On trolly/bus line for convenience. I'm definitely staying there whenever I'm back to Gig Harbor. Choose to stay in Gig Harbor, you wont regret it.

Stayed for two nights while attending a graduation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Liked the location because even though it had easy access to major roads it was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. The grounds are well kept and plenty of parking. Didn't have an opportunity to take advantage of the breakfast but it looked good and smelled wonderful. Would definitely stay there again.

Terrific place to stay, every staff member was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. The daily hot breakfast was a pleasant surprise. There was even a healthy make your own smoothy bar.

Good value for the area. Friendly, helpful staff. Central location. Clean and well maintained rooms. Good selection of breakfast items. Bed not terribly comfy, but on par with most other hotels. No addtional fees for wifi or parking.

I love this place. The staff do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. The hotel and grounds are clean and well cared for. Rooms are spacious and amenities plentiful. Lots of choices for breakfast.

We have stayed numerous times at Wesley Inn and have always been pleased with the level of service. That being said this stay had a few issues: 1. A smell in the room probably from some sweet deodorizer used to mask some other smell. 2. Had to ask for a hair dryer. 3. A large group having some sort of conference who were very loud into the night and made the breakfast difficult to navigate.

Great outstanding service from the JJ and Patty at the front desk. Awesome upgrade by the time i checked into the hotel. Staff very professional, breakfast was great also. Whole area was very clean and maintained.

The facility was very attractive with nicely cared for grounds. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very caring and friendly. They were helpful and attentive. We totally enjoyed our stay and felt that Wesley the mascot was a bonus . He makes a great greeter. They are pet friendly. This is a plus and something I may take advantage of in the future.

This hotel was a great home base for exploring Gig Harbor, Vashon Island, and Defiance Point. It was close to fast food like Jersey Mike's and Panera. That helped keep the trip costs reasonable. They were pet friendly but told me the pet fee will soon be going up from $20 to $50!

What a wonderful group of people managing this Gig Harbor Best Western. You feel like you are in a bed and breakfast inn. We came to spend a week at the Hanger clinic and felt so cared for by the excellent staff here. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Make no mistake my wife and I love the ambiance and location of Best Western Wesley Inn and Suites in Gig Harbor. You can't help but appreciate Natalya the night clerk who goes out her way to make guests feel welcome and accomodate requests. Natalya puts a smile on customer service. Also impressive is the morning kitchen staff who prepare an outstanding breakfast selection every day. The scrambled eggs are moist and fluffy and warm, not dry and rubbery like many other "free" hotel breakfasts. The breakfast potatoes are always good as is the link sausage and french toast. There are bagels and pastries and cereals available along with plenty of fresh fruit (apples, oranges and freshly cut pineapple and watermelon). There are also juices, coffee and tea selections. Kudos to the outstanding kitchen staff. We have stayed BW Weskey Inn and Suites previously and will stay here again. However while we have been impressed on prior stays with housekeeping staff, this visit was a disappointment. When we checked in on a Tuesday evening our room appeared clean with the exception of a bent and likely used cotton Q-tip on the floor behind the toilet. I wanted to report this to front desk but my wife suggested we wait and see if housekeeping found the Q-tip when servicing the room Wednesday while we were away for the day. Sadly the Q-tip was still there behind the toilet when we returned to our room. We did report the oversight Wednesday evening to the front desk clerk. Unfortunately all management team members had already left for the day. By the way this visit we did not leave a gratuity for the housekeeping staff who usually get a "tip" of between $3 and $5 daily from us.

Stayed here as guest of a friend two years ago. Was so pleased took my wife there and a few months later stayed there with my brother two nights. Excellent, clean accommodations, helpful staff and great breakfasts. Reasonable prices for the area. Enjoyed our stays and will return.

A very nice lobby and staff (especially Kathy) greet you upon entering. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The best offerings of a chain: consistent quality and upkeep, a nice breakfast and amenities like a fire pit and pool - with a few boutique hotel touches like the handsome, weathered boat that hangs from the lobby ceiling.

Our son lives in the area, so we always enjoy having this second home to stay at. Everything here is so nice and inviting. Love the service we receive and the pool is an added amenity we enjoy too in the summer time.

We use WESLEY Inn when we visit our family in Gig Harbor, It is the best hotel in the area. It's a very convenient location for all the fun in Gig Harbor. The amenities and staff are wonderful. All in all the best around.

Excellent cleanliness; very responsive, very attentive to our every need. Breakfast was very good. It is in a convenient location and surrounding area is quiet and secure. All the amenities that I would normally find in a more expensive hotel were available.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Wesley Inn and Suites in Gig Harbor. This hotel is lovely on the outside and on the inside. The woman at the front desk was very welcoming. We were able to get into our room before check in time. The room was very roomy. There was a sitting area with a comfortable chair. The king size bed was very comfortable. The room smelled fresh and clean. The breakfast was very good. It included fresh baked cinnamon rolls. And the coffee was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It is a very nice property, and staff are also quite nice. It is quite convenient to the restaurants down the (very big) hill at the harbor. One day breakfast was really good because they offered an egg/potato/onion/tomato concoction. The next day it was back to standard scrambled eggs and separately prepared potatoes, which seemed undercooked and thus inedible. Very nice, big rooms. Pillows were actually too puffy for my preference. And too bad pool is closed in the offseason.

Great place to stay, clean, excellent décor and looks. Extra friendly staff. Best place to stay and best motel that we have stayed in. Highly recommend it to all. Families and pets are very welcomed. We have stayed here many times and enjoyed are stay every time. The motel has very comfortable feel, great lobby and the architecture is great. You feel like you are at home. It would be a great place to live full time. I would highly recommend this to all. Don't miss it.

I have stayed at this hotel before and was not disappointed this time around. Before I was here during the busy summer months and had a most pleasant stay. This time, during the off season before Christmas, the hotel was charming, cozy, and wonderfully delightful to stay at.

The staff is genuinely caring and very helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The facility itself is very well maintained, the rooms have upgraded features that show the facility's commitment to making the guest experience enjoyable, and its location is very convenient to Gig Harbor, Tacoma and the Olympic Peninsula.

I always enjoy my stay in Gig Harbor Best Western. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. I enjoy the convenience of having breakfast on site. The location is close to town and many good restaurants too.

We has a King Suite. Microwave and a refrigerator was provided. Business desk, easy chair and ottoman made is comfy. The bed was comfortable and clean. Easy on and off the freeway, but very quiet, tucked into the woods.

Super gracious and accommodating reception desk, delicious breakfast, pleasant meeting rooms and sufficient public restrooms for those attending meetings, convenient location, attractive grounds, small cooler in lobby for snacking. Parking spaces are a bit tight and limited in number; my room could have had enhanced lighting but overall a place I'd recommend without reservation.

Very nice Best Western. The suite they gave me was great; it had a fireplace and was very spacious. The staff was friendly and courteous and checked me in quickly. I was able to set up my office and had extra outlets and USB ports at the desk which was very nice and helpful. I even found some tasty chocolate chip cookies in my suite. I highly recommend this BW on Gig Harbor for business and leisure travelers.

For a night away from home can sometimes be difficult for me. The hotel front staff made me feel welcomed, engaged in conversation and made me feel comfortable. The room itself was comfortable with a good size and was clean. The breakfast area was spacious and there was a good selection of food and everything tasted wonderful.

This Best Western is as quaint on the inside as it is on the outside. Room was very clean. We appreciated the details, i.e., granite countertops, wet bar, microwave, fridge; for added comfort. Great location and the staff was very helpful.

Best Western in Gig Harbor is an awesome Pet friendly hotel staffed by caring and responsive people. Close to the interstate and downtown Gig Harbor. Access to free WiFi, pool and hot tu. Morning breakfast is good and hot, not your average hotel morning breakfast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. From check-in to departure, the staff was friendly & professional. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept in at a hotel. The complimentary breakfast was very good. A very positive experience all around.

The people who run this hotel do a really good job. It is very homey feel to it. The location is great as it is just off the highway. There are great restaurants near the water that are just a few miles away. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Our son attends the University of Puget Sound and this is where we stay when we visit. For us, it beats staying in Tacoma and it's not so far from a travel perspective. Clean, comfortable rooms, solid WI-FI, an awesome staff, great location. The beauty of Gig Harbor makes this well worth it. Plus, it's close to one of our favorite places to visit for happy hour, the Tides Tavern. For us, you can't go wrong. Check it out.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious room and a friendly & professional staff. Good wifi & free breakfast had some healthier options. Easily explored Gig Harbor and Kopachuck State Park. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a comfortable retreat in a lovely location.

There is nothing flashy about this tired old hotel from an earlier era. It is a Best Western after all. They added an elevator this past year! It is a big improvement. However, the hotel as a whole is not tacky. It is a large, old wooden structure. There is glue on wood flooring in front of the microwave and refrigerator area at the door. It is coming up. There is a cute little dog in at the reception desk. It is relatively near Gig Harbor and some of the amenities in the area. This is no destination hotel. But if you need to be in the area, it works fine.

I've stayed before and can't say nice enough things about this hotel. Great staff, good location, convenient, huge rooms and a good atmosphere. The breakfast is nice too and town is easily reached on foot. Parking is great and I've always had a good night sleep.

Clean, comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast left us a bit dissatisfied. Not much selection and eggs were cold, waffle my husband had crunchy on bottom cold on top. Sausage was really good though.

The BW Wesley Inn and Suites is a lovely place, both outside and in! The staff was extremely friendly and caring and we were treated with graciousness and true hospitality. The room was clean, nicely appointed, bed was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed or could want. I will definitely stay there again!

I stayed there for a women's retreat. They have done a remodel and boy it is beautiful. The best thing about this Hotel is its wonderful staff. Next the breakfast with homemade cinnamon rolls. The grounds are beautiful, lots of flowers. The pool is located in a courtyard which provides privacy.

I have stayed at a variety of hotels for work and leisure... this is one of my favorites. The hotel and rooms are always immaculate. The variety at the provided breakfast is appreciated. The staff is very gracious and helpful. And last, but certainly not least, the Gig Harbor is awesome! It's close to Tacoma (where I usually am traveling for business). It has beautiful places to visit on the harbor - restaurants, shops, historical locations. I will always request to stay at this location from now on when traveling in the area.

My wife and I spent two nights here this week as we searched for a new home in the Gig Harbor area. This is our second visit to the Best Western Wesley (BWW) and once again, Kathy and her wonderful staff did not disappoint! Professional customer service that rivals any of the big hotel chains, great breakfast presentations, clean rooms and comfortable beds and pillows that virtually guarantee a good night's sleep. We'll be returning to Gig in a month or so and will definitely be staying at BWW once again! Thank you Kathy and staff for a wonderful visit!

What a great hotel and staff. My wife and I were there for 10 days while I received new bilateral exosym . I walked 2 blocks to the clinic. The breakfast at the hotel is really good, fresh and hot. Breakfast staff the best. Our king room was large, clean and comfortable. We had no car but used Gig Harbor taxi. and ordered some food in. There is a Burger king, Subway and a oriental restaurant 5 min. walk . Bus out front as well. I highly recommend this hotel. Best staff ever, friendly, and they care

Was clean, quiet, comfortable and the room was big. Wish the breakfast would have offered flavored coffee creamer at breakfast and the water pressure was terrible for getting shampoo out of your hair but overall it was a pleasant stay!

Love staying at this place while visiting family in Gig Harbor. It's so comfortable, fun with the pool, and just very inviting! :-) Plus a lovely breakfast and always have coffee & water available for convenience!

We arrived to a welcoming front desk who was understanding of my service dog and very polite. Since my husband was to be at a meeting the next day, the hotel allowed me a late departure from the room, which was very appreciated! The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was of a standard continental-type, with plenty of space to maneuver and no lines or crowding. Very happy with our stay here!

The hotel is very nice, better than other Best Westerns I have stayed in. It was clean and nicely decorated. Beautiful trees outside. Friendly front desk staff. Room was large and comfortable with a refrigerator. It is close to waterfront. Would love to come back and spend more time here. Also, the breakfast was very good. Better than most and the woman setting it up was very pleasant.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and professional. Morning breakfasts were terrific, in fact, the best hotel breakfast we have had. We were there for week and I would not have minded if we had stayed longer.

Room was very quiet--set in large fir trees right outside the window. Everything worked. A/C great. breakfast was a buffet with usual eggs, meat but good oatmeal as well. Staff very friendly. Lots of free parking. Would stay here again

The hotel was a lot more expensive than a higher level Best Western. I was given a price for veterans and then later told that was only for active duty. The conformation showed the discount applied to veterans. I was charged extra because they said the price quoted was for active duty military. I called the hotel after making an online reservation to be sure it was correct. I was it was fine. Then later told the above.. The BW Plus is much nicer and much less expensive and active duty or veteran is the same. We stayed in 3 different BW hotels during this trip and others were great. The blinds were broken in the room we had with a king size bed. They moved us to a room with 2 queens. The hotel needs to be refurbished, the hall carpets had large stains and elevator was not clean. That make a person feel the whole place is dirty.

Very clean, wonderful staff. Loved that they had real cutlery for breakfast. Also breakfast had a large variety and was tasty. Rooms were very comfortable and also bonus hot tub and pool. Very well kept and comfortable hotel

This was our first stay at a Best Western, BW, in a long time, and could be our last. I booked our room under the military/veterans program that BW has on their web site. This policy does require an ID card when checking in. When I checked in was told I would have to pay $5.00/day for parking, with the hotel web site stating that parking is free, because I was checking in under the Military/Veterans program. When I questioned this I was told that the hotel charges all military and veterans for parking, but not anyone else. The next morning after again being told by the front desk this was the policy, I called BW client services to complain, who, then called the hotel and directed them to remove the charge. I was called by the hotel manager, who I went to see, and was told the charge would be removed from my bill, and that "this one time" they would let me check into the hotel as a veteran, but that was not their policy. When I pointed out to the manager, that there was a specific policy of BW for veterans she said she was not aware of it and I had to show her on the BW website via my iPad. She stated this was not the hotel policy and she " would have to do something about it". I find it hard to believe that veterans and military would be treated differently. The excuse for charging the military is that the government would pay for their parking, basically charging the government for something that is free for everyone else. As far as the room was concerned, it was good, with no real complaints, exception noted above, but the furniture is starting to get a bit worn. Overall if you need somewhere to stay in Gig Harbor, you have very little choice, just 3 hotels and this one is mid range of them all, but with prices much higher than a comparable hotel elsewhere.

I spent more than a week at this hotel and it was a great stay. Every time I entered the lobby I was greeted by a pleasant staff member and Wesley the public relations dog. This hotel felt like home without the stress of the responsibilities of home. The hotel was clean and quiet yet people were out and about the hotel enjoying the amenities. I think the pleasant, polite vibe of the hotel was infectious.

Manager/owner (Sue,Susan,Susie)was extremely rude to our group. Did not communicate ahead of time. Some things that we had discussed with her and seemed ok with her ahead of time she completely changed her tune on when we arrived. We had approx 40 - 50 rooms filled with guests for the wedding and she was as rude as can be to us all.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Our room was so cute & clean wonderful breakfast friendly & accommodating staff & Wesley the little mascot for the hotel is just adorable. We will be back when we come back to Gig Harbor. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!

Patricia at the front desk made our stay very enjoyable. Pleasant, helpful and a pleasure to work in. She made check in super easy. Housekeeping and most staff were very professional. Extended themselves to our needs. Breakfast was included and very good with a lot of variety.

Overall a very nice place to stay. Excellent breakfast and extremely polite staff. Room was large, clean with quality furnishings. Its a little expensive but the overall quality is there to warrant the expense.

Its been years that I stayed at a Best Western but this one is comparable to Marriott. Staff was friendly and attentive, breakfast was good and well stocked. Great Indian Restaurant walking distance, Trolley stop across the street. A block off the freeway so no traffic noise. Great experience.

Every member of the staff including the owner/manager, was 100% focused on providing each guest and pleasurable stay and attending to their needs. I can't say this about many hotels, and I have stayed in many, but we truly felt like we were at home.

We have stayed here on several occasions and everyone is so nice. This hotel is pet friendly as well and has breakfast served in the lobby daily. Would recommend it to anybody looking for a place to stay in Gig Harbor!

This hotel was very nice and perfect for a family trip. The room was great for my husband and I, with our two small children. The breakfast was resteraunt quality, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The pool was the perfect sized and lots of fun. We would definitely stay again and recommend.

Rooms with nice decor, pretty clean but areas of hotel have old/tired decor (halls, tub/shower areas), TV's are outdated & have cable + HBO only. Pool is dirty with no light and no lighting in the pool patio, despite being open until 10. Staff were wonderful.

The hotel employees are professional and courteous. The hot breakfast offered a good variety of choices. The grounds and facilities are very nice--and quiet. The only negative: mattress was too soft for my back.

Had a great stay at the Best Western. The close proximity to the trolley stop made the trolley to Uptown and Downtown Gig Harbor extremely convenient. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The breakfast is not great but it came with your stay so I was not expecting anything fantastic.

Beautiful place to stay. And in the heart of one of the most beautiful places. This Best Western is stunning! Friendly people, gorgeous surroundings, and dog friendly. My husband and I traveled with our two tween boys and our( 2) dogs. Everyone was very kind and the dog friendly rooms were exceptional!! We will be back! Thank you to all the staff and the other four legged pups we met!

My wife and I stayed here for a conference. First the good. Location. Check. Grounds. Nice! Now the other. Price/Value. Not great. We're here at peak season on a weekend. This is still the best hotel in the area but overpriced for the accommodations. Poor construction, cheap furniture and beds, old tv, no adjustable rolling desk chair - seriously? Breakfast is included but very uninspired. However, nice staff. Overall a B- or C+. Would stay there again but hope for a better rate.

Staff was very helpful & accommodating. Public transportation is across the street from the hotel & very inexpensive for the day. Ask for restaurant discounts at the front desk. The waterfront oh Gig Harbor is beautiful & pleasant to stroll.

After watching the Chamber of Commerce Youtube we were expecting Gig Harbor to be like a little seaside town on the coast of Maine. Not so. It had a gouge the tourist in high season vibe. It also felt like a suburb of a metro area. Urban rather than village. Upscale. Nicer shopping areas. Wesley Inn was fine. No cookies. We had a view of the kids playing in the pool. I thought I could swim the length of it in 3 strokes so I didn't try to swim around the children playing. Really great fresh fruit salad at breakfast. Dead peonies needed trimming. Other deferred maintenance.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my wife and one-year-old daughter while in town for my brother's wedding. It was the worst hotel stay of my life. To make a long story short, we had a disagreement with the hotel about our room rate prior to check-in. In retaliation, the hotel went out of its way to make our lives miserable. First, they threatened to cancel our stay altogether 3 days prior to the wedding (in which I was the best man). It literally took a phone call from the bride to keep our reservation. Then, once we checked in, the hotel repeatedly locked us out of our room -- often times when we returned late at night with a crying baby in our arms. (We later learned from front-desk employees that these lockouts were done at the hotel manager's request.) It was really, truly bizarre. I'm planning to file a formal complaint with Best Westerns's corporate office because of the experience. I'd avoid this hotel at all costs, especially if you're planning a wedding. The management team is irrational, unprofessional, and horribly dishonest. Your wedding guests will thank you.

Excellent overall. The hotel is 47 miles from down town Seattle . Hotels.com listed it as 23 miles on the website. Spoke with them and they Have not corrected it. Shame on you hotels.com. With that said, no fault with the hotel . As I said it is excellent hotel and I would stay again in my travels but not for going back and forward to Seattle for going on sight seeing tours as we did. Too far away and traffic the worst , no matter what time of day

The rooms are very nice. The bed sheets had hair in them (black) we are blond. Front desk staff assured us it was from housekeeping and that they are in the process of requiring them to wear hairnets. We are pretty good at checking that the alarms are off when we first check in and of course we didn't this time and the darn thing went off at 3:00am! Between the hair in bed and alarm going off, did not get much sleep. They had upgraded our room before our arrival and it was VERY nice. It had a fireplace and 1 king and 1 queen bed and was quite spacious. So that was a nice surprise.

Great environment for a quiet getaway and base for exploring the amazing Gig Harbor area. The beautiful grounds and great staff were wonderful and really added to our stay. You'll find a ton to do in the area that is based on the rich history of Gig Harbor and the staff will help facilitate if needed.

I had only a couple of comments-no major issues: The rooms were not terribly well insulated. We had our TV on very low volume and got a complaint from the front desk. Seemed very weird. I thought the hotel was over priced for the type of room and amenities but it was ok for us as we were on a short leisure trip.

Always have a great stay at all Best Westerns that I have stayed in. Great service, clean rooms and great breakfast. The staff was excellent,. The grounds were immaculate. I would stay here again and my family enjoyed the stay.

This is the best Best Western I have stayed at. The exterior was beautiful and hardly looked like a hotel, and was impeccably landscaped and taken care of. Room was wonderful and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again when in Gig Harbor!

I know I do not think of high end when I see the Best Western name. However, this Best Western is a 4 star experience and by far one of the cleanest hotels we have ever seen. I would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful place. Lovely rooms and walking distance from Hanger Clinic. Friendly staff and very helpful. We had a nice time in Gig Harbor. I wish that we could have stayed longer. We will be back many more times in the future.

All members of the staff were genuinely caring and helpful and the amenities in the room were first class. The size and comfort of the room was unequaled. The location of this property is convenient to Tacoma and the Olympic Peninsula.

I was visiting the hanger clinic in Gig Harbor best question was a very close and comfortable place to stay I had to get the XO Sam built by Ron and it was great to see all the different folks that were there from there hanger clinic

Very pleasant experience, clean, conveniently located to town center, pool, breakfast, clean and friendly staff. Enjoyed my stay, very comfortable bed and pillows. Room temperature stayed comfortable all night without adjusting.

This is the place to stay in Gig Harbor unless you absolutely must have a view of the harbor. We found we liked the Wesley Inn so much that we didn't require a view to fully enjoy this historic town. We walked across the street to the Cushman Trail. We took the short walk to downtown and enjoyed the historic harbor path then rode the Trolley back to the Wesley Inn. (The trolley stop is right across the street.) The hotel staff recommended one of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever eaten in. This quiet and immaculate hotel with its warm staff made our visit to Gig Harbor just perfect.

LOVE staying at this hotel for my business trips to the Peninsula. Would not even consider staying elsewhere. Fantastic staff! They remember your name and face and greet you warmly as you come and go. The breakfast is hearty and delicious. The rooms are spacious, clean, well-appointed. LOVE IT!

This is a doggy hotel. I do not mind dogs. I do mind dogs that are on counters in the lobby. I was on a business trip and I cannot even go up to the counter without having dog hair. The owner had her small dog on the counter playing with her. I feel this is unprofessional. If you are going to ok dogs there must be rules. Like no dogs in the lobby. The rooms are clean. The outside is beautiful lovely landscape. The pool is small. When I tried to call the manager after my stay I never received a call back.

We have stayed at Wesley several times over the last few years and have always enjoyed the staff, rooms and great breakfast. There location is conveniently located near the hwy. I have recommended them to several friends.

This is a lovely hotel! I would definitely stay here 8again. The rooms were well-equipped with all the essentials. The best breakfast by far! And the most courteous breakfast staff and front desk staff.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of place, high ceilings 10ft, nice room (at least the one i stayed in was) Pool, jacuzzi, laundry, complementry coffee 24-7, friendly help. If i wasn't relocating to area and returned just to visit, i would most surely stay here again. The cost per night for what recieved was well spent. breakfast spread wasn't to shabby either, comparable to more costly competitors.

Customer service is lacking. Don't trust Patricia.... Housekeeping doesn't change sheets as requested. Response to issues, reservations, etc. is very poor. Proceed with caution. Beds are comfortable. Room was quiet.

I recently stayed at the Wesley Inn in Gig Harbor. It met all my expectations and then some. Here;s some of the things I liked: - there are 2 floors -the free breakfast is freshly prepared and there are a lot of options, including fresh fruit - the rooms are spacious and included a desk I could actually work at (room enough for my laptop and my papers) - plenty of outlets for charging devices - friendly and helpful staff

Been here three times, and it's always a quality experience. Lovely town, good shopping and restaurants, pretty views of the boats and Mt Rainier. Hotel staff goes out of their way to make it a quality experience, and the breakfast is delicious.

Amazing stay!! The staff, the room, the service, the breakfast...you will NOT be disappointed!! The breakfast is wonderful--eggs, sausages, waffles, French toast...who does that? FREE?!! Water bottles in your room...chocolates... And LOVE the little dog at the front desk...totally pet friendly!

We have found a beautiful place to stay when visiting our daughter. We are planning a road trip with our Labrador and they will "...accept her with open arms...". The staff at the Wesley Inn are the nicest we've encountered at a BW in several years. You'll love this quaint inn. Enjoy

We were here three nights, everything was very nice from the room to the breakfast and especially the staff. Quiet and comfortable. Fresh fruit at breakfast. This is a great location to explore Kitsap Peninsula and very short drive to the Gig Harbor waterfront. The 6 mile Cushman trail is across the street. Very quiet location.

This hotel is a gem for several reasons. I came in to Gig Harbor on business and after a terrible night elsewhere landed in Best Western lobby hoping that there was room for me. Sue at the front desk just scooped me up and took care of everything. She was so genuine and so professional! My room was perfectly decorated and ready for me to relax after a hard days work! Couldn't have asked for more and will stay again. Thank you!

Stayed here 7 nights while floors were being refinished. Not exactly a leisure stay, but the staff were welcoming the room was comfortable , the breakfast was delicious. land it was very quiet. Would recommend it. The only thing that I would comment on that is not meant to be negative is that there is a large bathtub equipped with a Jacuzzi in the bedroom and it"s placement just seemed odd. Perhaps some would like it , the people in the room next to us used theirs and we thought an aircraft was landing next to us! Once we realized what it was we laughed and hoped they would not be using it too late at night, and they didn't.

I have stayed at this hotel last three years when visiting family. The staff and owners are friendly and accommodating, the building and grounds are pleasant and well maintained and I look forward to the experience again each time I come.

Great hotel in a great location close to the harbor. Accommodation was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hot breakfast was a nice start to our day. Prices were elevated due to the Thanksgiving week, but normal prices are a good value considering free parking, free internet and a hot breakfast. I would stay here again.

The hotel was amazing, the service was fantastic, and everything was presented in a clean orderly fashion. My husband and I come here for our anniversary, and this place is so great for this, it's quiet, clean and romantic. We will continue to come back for our anniversary

Nice hotel with a professional staff, pleasant atmosphere, comfortable beds and "clean rooms/linen" according to my wife whom I've learned to believe in matters such as this! Easy on/off freeway access right around the corner and very close to other nearby excellent restaurants in Gig Harbor. My wife and I spent three night here and would definitely consider saying here again.

Nice place, friendly staff. Cute town with a lot of nearby shopping and restaurants. Good breakfast in the morning. Housekeeping just replaced towels only -did not tidy up or clean, hot tub/pool closed for the season.

We were here for a family event and a wediding. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. The entire staff was professional, pleasant and looked out for all of our needs. We had dinner at Anthonys which was excellent. Beautiful area, I highly recommend Best Western Wesley Inn and Suites.

Dark rooms, depressing. They told us they are constantly remodeling - I can see why - everything they have done is horrible. Don't be fooled by the pool - It is a joke, it is too little to use. As soon as we got there we asked for our money back. They refused. Stay away from here!!!

Comfortable, warm, friendly, welcoming, very good breakfast, gym next door and in one of the most beautiful small harbor towns in America. A plethora of places to eat, and when the sun is out Mt. Rainer, covered in snow is splendid to see, and with boats on the Sound, white caps on the water, and dark green evergreens glistening after a rain, and the air fresh, it is one of the most invigorating, and pleasant places to be, and the hotel is the best place in the area for business travelers, of which I was one, to stay.

Rooms were always excellent, staff is VERY helpful and friendly. It has character, great for a business stay. Though not in downtown (where tourist hotels are), its a very short walk or drive in. Quiet and accessible.

The location was easy to find using our gps system. And the setting of this Best Western was exceptional. There were trees and bushes surrounding the motel which made if very attractive. The parking was close and convenient and we had no trouble finding a parking space. They had a very nice staff who were helpful in selecting a room that best suited our needs. The lobby was spacious and had a "gig" boat hanging up high. The staff explained why that was there and why the town was named for it.

My wife and I love the Best Western, Wesley Inn. This past week-end, we opted to go there because of the storm and potential power outages in our residential area. I had papers I needed to get done in a relaxing atmosphere without the threat of losing power. No power outage and not much of a storm, however there was plenty of comfort and relaxing. The staff there is always pleasant and helpful. The gracious entryway is very inviting, and most importantly, coffee is always on and good.

We have stayed at the Wesley Inn Gig Harbor several times as our kids live in the area. It has always been pleasant, clean and has an excellent, exceptional breakfast. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and wifi is superb.

Stayed here for 4 days. The location is great. It is handy to historic downtown and well maintained. However, you could hear whenever the occupants above us walked around thanks to the creaky floorboards. Plus, the conversation of the neighbors in the connecting room was pretty clear until well after midnight thru the connecting door making sleeping difficult. On the positive side, the lobby and breakfast area was spacious with ample seating.

I booked a regular king room, it was an average room and smelled a little musty. It was clean so I just stayed put. I wish I had spent the extra and tried the suite with fireplace. The people in this hotel are very nice and I am sure if I mentioned that my room smelled a little musty they would have moved me. They have a nice breakfast in the morning and it's not too crazy like some bigger hotels that serve breakfast. I would stay here again, great location close to town.

The services were very good rooms were clean on time. The entire staff went above and beyond board to make sure every thing were in order and ok. The complete staff were super front desk room, service and the breakfast persons were super. The gentle man that prepare the breakfast was super helpful I was on crouches and he assisted me each morning he was there. Special thanks to him and all the others.

I would give this place 5 stars for the front desk staff alone. The room was comfortable and clean. There was not noise from other rooms although there weren't a lot of cars in the lot so there may not have been any occupants in those rooms. My only complaint would be that the breakfast is the same every day - some variation would be good.

This is a Wonderful place to stay for family and couples of all ages. Super friendly staff and they provide a nice breakfast, last time I stayed they had more of a variety this time it was almost the same thing everyday but it was good. The grounds are well kept and the hotel is very clean. My son wanted to workout but the gym was close on Sundays and the days that were schedule to be open it closed early. These were only the 2 things they could try to improve. Overall It is a wonderful place to stay and I will always stay here when in the area.

Our room is very romantic with a fireplace and whirlpool tub. Excellent service during our stay with tea and coffee always available . Our room was cleaned even though we slept left everday. We will stay again

Very pleasant reception. General Building appearance is an up tic from the usual elongated style of most motels. Exterior signage could be better. As for the room, the appearance was rather sparse. No pictures on the wall. It simply did not seem very cozy for a rate of $175. Hand held lower nozel holder was gone, and the coffee maker was broken. Now for the positives. Location is in a quiet spot. The king bed was firm and conformable with nice selection of pillows. (A comfortable is the most importantly of all ! !). Breakfast selection was more than most. Breakfast area was roomy and attendant was on the ball. All in all, if in the area, we would probably go back.

The Best Western Gig Harbor is a well run, guest focused and pet friendly motel. The breakfasts were consistently good and provided some variety during our stay. The pool was small but clean and well maintained in a nicely landscaped area. We were greeted each morning by a friendly small dog who kept station at the top of the staircase. The staff was helpful as our travel plans kept changing. The only shortcoming is the lack of any views. Rooms in the back were up against a wall and a commercial building which resulted in a dark cave like effect.

Best Western Inn and Suites in Gig Harbor is a pleasant small two story hotel right off highway, and just a short drive or trolley ride from downtown Gig Harbor. Architecture looks more like an inn than a typical chain hotel. Lobby is lean and bright with coffee available. The breakfast area is open to the Lobby area. Breakfast is included with stay and is typical hotel limited buffet, although probably better than most (scrambled eggs, sausage, bread and pastries, cooked oatmeal with toppings, yogurt, waffles and cereal). We stayed in a queen double on second floor. Rooms were clean with small mini frig, keurug coffee and microwave. Nice soft white sheets and fluffy white towels. Front desk staff was wonderful! Very helpful from first making our last minute room reservation to helping us plan restaurant choices and boat tours. Very very friendly and helpful. We needed a wine opener and one was given to us in a nice white box with hotel logo (nice gift to take home) . I would definitely stay here again

After booking my stay early in the month of August I realized that this hotel immediately charges the rate of the room to your card. Not the day of check in or check out, so be aware of that. Also be aware that there are no refunds for cancellations! You should also know that this hotel can charge you for smoking in a non-smoking room even if you had not smoked in it. I stayed recently and was charged a smoking fee $250 which was a false accusation and was not disputable with staff. At a room rate of nearly $250 a night the accommodations and room quality were some of the poorest I have seen. The hotel has not been updated since the early 90's and the faucet and fixtures in my bathroom were loose and wore out. I was in town for a wedding and I will let my friends and family of friends to never stay here at the Best Western of Gig Harbor! They are not the only game in town so do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

The hotel was inviting and clean. The staff, however, are what make this hotel stand out. Friendly and helpful. We asked for recommendations for dinner and they handed us a list of recommendations. The room was decent sized and very clean. I especially loved the Christian music that is playing in the lobby. Our Continental breakfast was a notch above the rest. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The hotel was very friendly and warm. The staff made us feel very welcome. Rooms were clean as well as the rest of the property. Location to the town was just a few minutes drive from the property. Parker, the resident hotel dog, was a special perk!

The Best Western Wesley Inn & Suites, Gig Harbor, is the perfect hotel to explore Gig Harbor, LakeBay, and even near-by Seattle. The rooms are a good size for a family, beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast is perfect for everyone.

We spent a wonderful weekend at the Best Western Plus - Gig Harbor. The hotel exterior is very charming (Cape Cod style) and the inside is just as lovely. It was very clean and up to date. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a wide range of selections and was absolutely delicious! (We want the recipe for the fabulous cheesy egg & potato souffle! Oh... and those cinnamon rolls are to die for!!) The staff was the best part of our stay ... so friendly and welcoming ... couldn't have asked for a better experience!

All four of my colleagues liked the Wesley. We especially enjoyed breakfast. Clean, friendly and professional staff with a nice looking hotel in a wooded environment. Gig Harbor does not have a lot of hotel options. This has to be one of the best. Recommended

I travel for business and have stayed at many of the hotels up and down the I-5 corridor. With out exception this is the BEST hotel in this chain and well worth the additional 10 minutes travel time I spent to get there. Breakfast was unbelievable and of a much higher quality than you will find at any of the other hotels. I was traveling with my family and this location made us all feel safe, comfortable and appreciated.

I am lucky to be able to travel often, and this is among my favorite hotels!! It is clean, large, welcoming and every staff person I've ever encountered is really nice and willing to do whatever they can to make you happy. Our daughter attends school in Tacoma, but we choose to stay here in Gig Harbor at this hotel over any other hotel in Tacoma! You won't be sorry!

So the hotel is nice yet but I guess it's true looks can be deceiving we stay at the hotel for a couple of days and it is a pet friendly hotel but the room was not friendly there were fleas in the room the guy I was working with got bit by the fleas we reported it the owner and she pretty much shrugged it off as if nothing had happened and did not really acknowledge or really show care about the situation I would be careful staying at this location

Overall, this hotel was very pleasant with lovely grounds and excellent breakfast. The room seemed somewhat dated, but included a fridge and microwave plus business desk. The rate per night was high compared to other Best Western Plus hotels we have stayed in, likely due to the popularity of Gig Harbor and limited accommodation choice. Also, the hotel was quite a distance from the very picturesque harbor, popular restaurants and shops.

The hotel was very clean and was quite up to date. The hotel room came with specialty bottled water with Wesley Inn labeled on the bottle, very nice touch. There were Keurig coffee makers in the room as well, this was something that gave it that small home feel. I really liked that. The pool and hot tub were a little on the small side, but the hot tub water was nice and hot unlike some hotels... This completely fixed my view on those amenities. No issues with the internet. I was able to game and watch netflix without any issues. Overall, the hotel was very nice and had a great feel! I will book this hotel next year for my next training! Good people, good HOT breakfast. made the stay that much more memorable and comfortable.

The Wesley Inn Staff were generally courteous although check in and check out were not done accurately. Our cards were charged before we received our bill and had to be credited and corrected. We had rooms reserved for months in advance for our daughter's wedding and our room preferences were ignored. Rooms were clean, housekeeping services quickly responsive. Breakfast included? Hot breakfast items were barely edible, really poor eggs, frozen potatoes reheated, cheap breakfast meats. Other items were generic - breads and packaged yogurt. Oatmeal was really thick and gluey. We skipped breakfast there after one morning, ate elsewhere - not a good value. Wesley Inn generally overpriced for services provided, however there are not a lot of other hotel options in the Gig Harbor area.

The hotel staff were wonderful doing everything they could to make us comfortable and happy. we came to Gig Harbor on our way to moving to Gig Harbor and the staff were great and took every advantage to help us to figure out how to navigate in Gig Harbor.

Terrific location near highway 16, close to everything, didn't hear any noise however. Excellent service that went out of their way to personalize our experience in our stay. Highly recommend this place !

Had a great experience here.The hotel was very nice with pretty flower gardens everywhere. The staff and locals were very friendly. Hotel was convenient to local transportation. My only complaint would be that the hotel hot tub was not hot but cold. Breakfast was typical but coffee was great. Beautiful town, would go back tomorrow!

We stay here several times a year when visiting our son and family. We have always had a great experience and pleasant stay. Hotel is clean, quiet and well staffed. Breakfast is excellent. Never considered staying anywhere else

What a gem! The hotel has a homey feel that is magnified by the friendly and helpful staff. Would like to thank Sue for all the helpful info she provided and Kathy for offering to take things to Fedex for us after she got off work. It's a lovely place and I wish we could have stayed longer!

We have been out many times in the past 4 years looking for a home near the water in Gig Harbor. Each time we have stayed, we did so at the Wesley Inn & Suites. This time our visit was for good and as usual they didn't disappoint. Anywhere you stay in the harbor you will find above average prices, but you won't find the same level of service or value for your money. The staff are always friendly and eager to help find a destination or help plan an evening out. If you are looking for a clean hotel room where you can get a good night's rest, the Wesley Inn is the only place I would stay.

The fact this is listed number one in Gig Harbor says more about Gig Harbor lodging than the quality of The Wesley Inn. My double-queen unit was a standard motel room and the free breakfast was mediocre with very few healthy options.

We were two couples, the husbands had a golf tournament at Madrona, the wives had tickets for the Gig Harbor Garden Tour to Benefit Literacy. My husband and I stayed Friday and Saturday. When we checked in we were given a Jacuzzi room! We found out later that they were booked up, so anyone who was staying 2 nights was upgraded. The room was incredible, with a gas fireplace, full size sofa, and a lovely Jacuzzi tub. The bed was incredibly comfortable. When the other couple came they were given a standard room, which was also very nice and spacious but without the fireplace, Jacuzzi, & a chair in lieu of a sofa. The pool and hot tub area are very nice. There is also a patio apart from the pool with a nice gas fire pit and plenty of tables and chairs. We took advantage of everything. The rooms were very clean and up-to-date. It all made up for the fact that we weren't on the waterfront, and we would definitely stay here again (even in a standard room).

The staff at this hotel were amazing! They greeted my dog and I like we were old friends. The room was really comfortable and very clean. All of our needs were met. They really made us feel comfortable and lessened the stress of moving (with a pet). Thank you all!

We had an excellent experience at this hotel. We travelled here while working with the Hanger Clinic for medical reasons. Wonderful, helpful staff. The breakfast is very nice. The lobby is a great space to spend time visiting with family and fellow travelers. A trolley stop that goes around Gig Harbor is at the entrance of the hotel parking lot. We would stay here again!

This place is situated on beautiful grounds. The rooms are tasteful, spacious. There is a heated pool which the kids enjoyed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And, oh, did I mention the breakfast. You won't find those plastic waffles here. I don't know how they manage to provide such a nice spread, but it is consistently nice and delicious and includes fresh fruit.

Excellent service , good breakfast clean and comfortable rooms. Well keep grounds and The exterior of the hotel looked like a lodge. I would refer this hotel to anyone staying in Gig Harbor. We stayed here to be able to travel around and not have to fight the traffic of Seattle and Tacoma.This area had beautiful small towns and countryside.

June 2016--stayed here for 3 nights Was greeted warmly and everyday staff were extremely friendly and helpfull Room was BIG!, coffee and tea maker, fridge, microwave, radio/clock. Bed was superbly comfortable, bathroom big, in fact there was a LOT of room in the room! No restaurant on site-buta great Indian Restaurant next door, a Subway Burger King and Teriyaki, just 200m down KIMBALL DRIVE Alternatively go for a walk into town-(about 20 minutes) and theres a great general store and restaurants. Cant complain, look forward to staying there on my next visit

I ALWAYS stay at this hotel when I travel to Gig Harbor. There is no reason to go anywhere else. The hotel and the staff are the BEST. The location is perfect and breakfast is way above that served at other hotels. Try it and see for yourself. I love Gig Harbor and I love staying at this hotel. It truly does feel like my home away from home.

We love to visit Gig Harbor and the Wesley Inn is our go to place. The grounds are beautifully maintained with gorgeous flowers, large pots and hanging baskets. The staff is always welcoming and they are very kind with our old Labrador. The rooms are nicely appointed and have some warm touches like a stuffed toy dog that represents the hotel four-legged ambassador Parker.

Can't go wrong in anyway choosing this establishment, very nice accommodations, nicer still staff, and close to many activities, including a trail across the street. Shopping, dining and sporting activities all around.

This hotel is in downtown Gig Harbor and the area is very scenic. The hotel is very attractive. Our room was on the first floor and right off the lobby. The problem is that our room has very thin walls and I could hear the man in the next room who sounded like he was preparing for a speech. Good thing we had a TV to drown out the background noise. BUT, the free breakfast was very good.

Stayed here twice earlier this year. Both times came away very happy. The staff is so kind and helpful and love the little mascot, Parker! Rooms were very clean. Pretty grounds for walking dogs and easy to get to. Easy on and off for getting around. Couple of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast available. Not that great but nice for a quick bite. Also loved the drink and deli type items available in the lobby. Can't say enough about everyone on staff that we met during our stays. Great place for the money in an area that doesn't have a lot of choices.

I had to go to Gig Harbor for a funeral. This place was recommended. I was surprised at how nice it was for the price, and for a Best Western. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. I travel a ton for work and have stayed in places ranging from hookers-getting-arrested-in-the-lobby to 5 star hotels in Australia. If I ever have a need to return to Gig Harbor, I'll stay here again. Wasn't super excited about the religious tracts in the room, but we just ignored that.

We spent two nights at Best Western Plus, Wesley Inn at Gig Harbor at the end of our Washington state holiday. Staff were very attentive, The room was big and comfortable with good wi fi. A good choice of breakfast with real cutlery. The hotel has a nice relaxing feel and we thought value for money.

was clean and friendly just need to do something about hard cheap mattress and check tv remotes kinda out of the way but again if your looking for a pet friendly clean room and do not mind hard beds this would work for you when I complained about remote on tv it should of been taken care of but I did not push it it was just laughed off

We knew this was a friendly place when we were greeted by the "Lobby Dog", the hotel's ambassador. Staff was all equally friendly and helpful. This gave the hotel a truly personal feeling. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we return to Gig Harbor.

Nice hotel for families, as it offers suites for separate sleeping areas. The pool was a hit with the kids, and the breakfast food was healthy with diverse offerings. Location is not very close to tourist activities, viewpoints, or parks... you will need to drive. Transit, however, is right across the street!

Love love lover the atmosphere of this hotel. It's has that rustic, laid back kind of ambiance. The staff have happy faces from 4:00am to whatever time of the night. Your reservation comes with an American breakfast buffet . The room is quite comfortable. It came with a sink, mini fridge, coffee/keurig, complementary bottled water and the other usual amenities. Good wifi and cable as well. The bed is comfy. Though it's an older hotel, my room has been renovated. No elevator but I wouldn't have it any other way. The hotel is sorrounded by trees. You can hardly tell that there's a convenience store on the next corner. I would come back to this hotel in a Heartbeat.

Terrible desk staff, mixed up rooms, staff became angry when called out on mix up, very unprofessional. I booked their best room and was told we were getting a king with a pull out cot. Complained and was put in a room with 2 queens next to electrical room. Then, after another staff told us the first room was actually a king, queen, and pull out, we took that room, but the staff who made the error, became inappropriately angry. Would not recommend this, average rooms, expensive, bad service

You just cannot beat this place. The staff is superb, the accommodations outstanding. No aspect of our stay was overlooked. This was a major part of the best vacation we've taken together in 40 years.

Located just off the freeway (Hwy 16) main city center exit. five or six blocks from the water front and lots of dining choices. Large rooms that are modern and very clean with coffee, microwave and frig. Breakfast starts at 6:30 and features lots of fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, hot and cold cereal. slept in rooms both facing the front and back of the building and both were very quiet.

We have stayed at this motel multiple times when in this area. Have always been happy with the accommodations Hotel staff recognizes us and treat us like old friends, very welcoming. Breakfasts are always interesting and fun to enjoy. Would like a decaffeinated black or green tea- don't care for herbals. Other than that personal preference, very enjoyable experience.

Hey yall. Capt Funtime here. This place was unfortunately a disappointment. Look, they have all the stuff in the pictures. And we did use the electric car charger which was nice. The price of the rooms where as much as a stay in Hawaii. The walls are thin so you hear everything. The pool and spa which photograph well where broken. The rooms where not cleaned unless you ask. I don't know folks. For $500 bucks for two nights I expect better. Maybe if you can get a deal for $89 bucks or something. Using their language, "My expectations where not exceeded". Ye be warned!!

My rescue dog and therapy dog in training was just BANNED from Best Western Wesley Inn and Suites! My first visit to this hotel was in 2011 just before I first moved to Gig Harbor. Since then my family and friends stayed there multiple times and even chose this hotel for our annual family reunion this past fall. (Spending upwards of $10,000 in the process) While not a luxury hotel by any means, the rooms are generally clean and comfortable and the central Gig Harbor location can't be beat. The hotel advertises itself as "pet friendly" but what happened to me yesterday left me speechless and shaken. I help run a non-profit pet rescue and one of my dogs is in training to become a certified therapy dog. Since we live close by, about once a week we would make a quick walk through the hotel in order to give the dog new experiences and build his confidence. My dog is a very well mannered teddy bear and was always greeted warmly by the hotel guests and staff, so much so he would perform tricks for the front desk staff for treats! So imagine my shock when the hotel's owner confronted me in a most hostile way. As I was walking through the lobby the lady behind the front desk (the owner) asked me if I was a guest. I explained that while not staying there now, my family and I had spent dozens of nights on the property in the past several years. She yelled at me "I can't have you on my property!" I was so dumbfounded I didn't know how to respond. I asked her if she CAN'T have me on her property or if she didn't WANT me on her property. She just snapped at me once again in an even louder voice said "I can't have you on my property! Leave the property!" I was stunned! It wasn't just WHAT she said, it was HOW she said it. There was so much rage in her voice and was completely emotionless, almost like she was enjoying the encounter. Keep in my that my dog has never barked, growled, slobbered or exhibited any aggressive behavior, unlike the owners Lhasa Apso who roams unsupervised throughout the entire property including the parking lot! You would think someone in the SERVICE industry might have a little more tact by saying something like: I'm truly very sorry sir but due to safety concerns I'm afraid only current guests are invited to bring their animals on the premises. But no, the hotel's owner showed a complete lack of common decency. I take NO pleasure writing a negative review of this hotel but I was so shaken by her rude and demeaning comments that I felt compelled to share my story. Actions have consequences and I have informed my family and friends of what happened to me and my dog. We will NOT be holding our 2016 family reunion at this hotel (7-10 rooms for 4 nights) nor will my company sponsor any event having anything to do with this hotel.

This hotel is quite nice when you drive up. It gives you the feel of a bed and breakfast. the entry way decor is warm and welcoming. The wonderful woman at the front desk was awesome! Thanks Kathy! I stayed in a suite which was quite large with a kitchen area and a fireplace, It was very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and seemed to be crafted with care. I was in the area on business and looking forward to returning for leisure.

We were in Gig Harbor for a memorial service. The rooms were clean and the staff was very pleasant. We also love the adorable friendly dog that greeted us in the lobby. We enjoyed our stay and do not have any complaints.

I stay here whenever I come to Tacoma to visit our daughter in college at the University of Puget Sound. I love coming to Gig Harbor. It's a quaint little place, off the beaten track, and the staff here is superb. The grounds are immaculately kept and the rooms and lobby are always impeccable. This is one of my very favorite hotels!

On a recent trip to Gig Harbor we stayed at the Wesley Inn and Suites...mostly because we were familiar with Best Western...knew Best Western would at the very least be above "adequate" ... The Wesley Inn and Suites was so far about adequate I was amazed...we have stayed in five star resorts that did not have the level of service we received... The rooms are modern and clean...the staff amazingly friendly and beyond accommodating.. Seldom do I take the time to write a hotel review, but I had to this time...I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and we WILL stay there on our next trip to the Harbor.

My family was on Spring Break and wanted a place near Tacoma. The hotel was in excellent condition, continental breakfast was good, had a wonderful night's sleep on the bed (best of our Spring Break trip). The hotel staff was friendly and had maps of Gig Harbor to find restaurants and museum.

Our room was conveniently located on the 2nd floor. It was very clean and had all the amenities we could want. It was quiet and the bed was excellent. There were bathroom toiletries each day, a hair dryer, coffee maker, microwave, and mini-frig. We had chocolates each night. The wifi service was excellent. The staff are all very warm and friendly. Our room was made up quickly each day.

I had a very nice experience from the gracious staff to the extremely comfortable bed/room. I would recommend this hotel and plan to stay again soon. It has a nice serene feeling and is located smack in the middle of Gig Harbor making the water front and shopping very close by.

Overall superior hotel experience. Friendly, helpful staff. They exceeded our expectations in every way. The best night's sleep we've ever experienced in any hotel! The location was convenient to the freeway and to the events that we were attending.

The service was great, the rooms were ok. I was expecting the rooms to be a little nicer from the pictures online. It looked updated but not recently updated and the finishing work and details were not very good. There was still old carpet left in the closet which surprised me. The outside of the hotel was just as beautiful as I expected, very welcoming. Overall, very happy with our stay.

We were very satisfied with our one night stay and would recommend this establishment to family and/or friends anytime. In the event we return to the Gig Harbor area, we will most certainly stay here again.

This hotel, though far from home, has earned the title "favorite hotel" of our family - dog friendly too! The morning breakfast bar has a variety of hot foods, cold cereal, freshly cut fruit, breads (with toasters available) and several types of hot and cold beverages available. The icing on the cake, the breakfast eating area compares to a nice restaurant - beautiful views of the outside and comfortable tables. Just so I don't forget there were three types of complimentary newspapers available to take with me!

One of the most friendly places we have stayed in this year. The rooms are luxurious, comfortable beds, fantastically clean plus the full hot breakfast included was wonderful that's high praise from someone who loves to cook and bake. Time after time when ever we encountered a staff member we were greeted with a smile accompanied by a question if we needed anything or is there something I can get for you?

I checked in with my husband to a Fireplace/Jacuzzi/balcony suite over the weekend. The hotel is beautiful and you can tell that a lot of time went into it to make it look beautiful. The rooms are huge and the beds are better than Westin's bed which is what they mostly known for. The breakfast was great and hot and there was a lot of different selections to meet all picky eaters needs. I wish I could live here.

The location is easy to get to from the main highway from Tacoma north up the Kitsap Peninsula. Grounds are pleasant and park like. Lobby is spacious yet warm and inviting. checkin was fast and efficient. Room was large and nicely appointed for both business and leisure use. Shower was excellent with great water pressure and perfect temperature. Bed was to die for. Best sleep in ages. Room was quite. Breakfast was "typical" but I'm not a fan of buffet breakfasts. Oatmeal was very good and selection of other items seemed better than average.

First class hotel from start to finish. Quality property with quality staff. With the exception of a rogue alarm clock in a vacant adjacent suite, this property checked all the boxes for me The breakfast is as one would expect from a hotel with no on site restaurant, but it is acceptable. The pool and hot tub looked inviting although I was there in the off season so they were not available. As Arnie said..... "I'll be back"!

As part of an on-going company project, this was the go-to spot for our entire team when staying in the Gig Harbor area. Our team had a lot of requests and needed a lot of flexability with schedules and conference room spaces and the staff at this hotel went above and beyond to accommodate us and they greatly exceeded our expectations! The customer service and professionalism was like no other! Weather you are going there for buisness or pleasure I HIGHLY recommend this hotel! To all the staff at the BW plus Wesley Inn thank you for a job well done and being so outstanding!

This hotel will meet your every need and more! They have excellent meeting spaces, very nice rooms with fireplaces, and the staff is extremely accomodating and hospitable. They are so much better than other hotels in the area!

Great location for a stay in the Gig Harbor area. Unless you want a bed & breakfast, this is the place to stay. Great staff, better than average hot breakfast, and a very quiet location. Gig Harbor is a fun little area that is growing. Just a short drive from Tacoma across the narrows bridge. North is, Paulsbo, and access to the Olympic Pennsiua.

We found this place to be very nice , clean and the staff was helpful . The rooms were nice sized felt very comfortable staying here . We chose to order pizza from dominos ( IT WAS GREAT ) and it arrived fresh and hot. We will stay here again in future.

Gig Harbor is awesome, hotel is conveniently located. Nice room and clean. Great price for the room. Stayed in a King room, bed was pretty firm and I woke with a sore shoulder. Pillows were extra fluffy. First room I've ever stayed in where housekeeping did not replenish everything. Weird. If you want things replenished or want extra coffee, you should try asking the front desk. We did not tip housekeeping. Make sure you eat at Net Shed 9 and try the Surprise Margarita at Pueblitos on Harborview Drive. Service gets 50% because of housekeeping.

The hotel staff is amazing and the location has been perfect for our business conference and meetings. The rooms are very clean and comfortable the food is great (Betsy is awesome), but the part that sets this place apart from the rest is the friendly hotel staff. They really do care about you.

Outstanding customer service, totally exceeded expectations! Very comfortable room and a genuinely friendly staff willing to accommodate any need/request. Impeccably clean!!! I would go out if my way to stay here again! Meeting rooms were very comfortable as well, beverages frequently refreshed and staff checked in often. As a frequent businesses traveler, this is one of the best!

This is one of our favorite Best Western Hotels. It's conveniently located near shopping and downtown Gig Harbor without the high rates. The rooms are oversized with a nice kitchenette perfect for multiple-day stays. Also, the beds are very comfortable.

I use this particular hotel in Gig Harbor every time I go there. I am always treated well, sleep well and enjoy my stay. The owners and staff are all amazing and I could never say enough good things about how caring and helpful and professional each of them is. Breakfast items are always tasty and the coffee is rich and abundant. The hotel is nicely appointed and kept up. It is pet friendly also, which is a plus now that we have a pup.

We have stayed here many times and continue to receive great customer service. The rooms are nice size; always clean and comfortable. Will stay here whenever we are in town. Reasonably priced. Good selection for breakfast.

Beautiful, updated property with big rooms with microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator set up with a broad kitchen counter. Fragrant amenities. Kudos to the staff for allowing me, a diabetic, to take food along for the ride home over a dicey mountain pass.

The location in Gig Harbor is great. The people at the front desk are very attentive. The morning breakfast was good quality. The bed was very firm. The room was clean and neat. We have stayed at this motel every time we have come to Gig Harbor and always been very satisfied with the service and cleanliness of the rooms. The bed in this past room was very firm and I think you can request different firmness of beds. I will ask for a less firm bed next time.

The room was fabulous, the mattress comfortable. It was extra great to have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and sink in the room. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The breakfasts were delicious with eggs uniquely prepared. The coffee was excellent and I helped myself to a second cup which is rare for me in hotels. We liked our stay so much the first time on a Sunday night that we returned on the following Friday night when we returned to the Seattle area. General Manager, Sue was very helpful and Parker, the hotel dog, was engaging.

Excellent service, clean, great area of Gig Harbor. Would totally stay here again! The owners were around and that is refreshing to see. The breakfast is outstanding - great fruit. The outdoor pool and sitting around the pool is great too.

Clean, mostly. Bathroom shower head shows brown stains. Good water pressure. Bed pillows were horrible. Room was sterile, lacked color or wall hangings. Complimentary breakfast was tasteless with diluted eggs. Front desk was helpful. Sleep quality was good. Place was quiet.

Nice family atmosphere and customer friendly staff in the city of Gig Harbor, Washington State. Comfortable rooms and reasonably priced. Also dog friendly. Their own dog, Parker, usually roams the premises and they even have a Parker look alike toy dog in every room.

This hotel was so clean and well cared for. We stayed three nights and was impressed from the time we checked in until the time we left. The rooms were large and very clean. Breakfast was above average. Great location and one of the best hotels we have stayed at.

Reasonably priced. Large room with one king bed. Bathroom could use a little updating. Excellent location to the waterfront. Decent breakfast, nothing exciting, but had essentials: yogurt, fruit, cereals, standard eggs, sausage. Would stay there again. Be aware, if you book through Trip Advisor you won't get your Best Western reward points.

We used to stay other places in Tacoma when visiting our son at Puget Sound. A friend recommended this place and it is awesome. Clean rooms, good service, friendly staff, great place to stay. Close to a couple of really cool places to eat or grab a beer. Really recommend staying here on the Gig Harbor side of things when visiting this area of Washington.

We stayed in one of the suites for an evening away from the kids to celebrate our anniversary. The Staff was great, had several wish us a happy anniversary. Room was great, and had everything we expected. Lobby and building was nice and very close to many local restaurants, movie theater, and pubs.

Very well maintained inn with some special amenities. Great location in a quiet area and close to shopping and restaurants. The added breakfast was very good and saved going somewhere in the morning for breakfast as there was not a restaurant close to walk to for that meal. If the weather had been warmer I might have opted for a swim in the morning before other activities. In all, a lovely facility for a stay in Gig Harbor.

.We stayed for a Sunday Night in a pet friendly room. (Why do hotels charge more for a pet--$20-- but not more for rambunctious children?) Anyway the room was small but clean and modern and close to an exterior door, however the "pet" area was at the far end away from the door so not very convenient and the door is locked (nice night feature for security) at night and you must pass through the lobby anyway. The hot breakfast is served in a bright and pleasant room and was typical American light breakfast. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The facility is equipped to service small conventions (approximately 250) and gatherings in several meeting rooms and there is plenty of parking for guests and visitors. The location is convenient to the highway (WA-16) and modern shopping mall and the historic downtown is a short drive or bus ride. In spite of its location to a major highway it is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice and is moderately small. This is a good place to stay when in or visiting Gig Harbor which in itself is a great destination.

I would recommend this to anyone. it was very clean, the room was large with a refrigerator, microwave sink and Kurig coffee maker. The bed AND pillows awesome! Friendly staff. If in this area again, would defiantly stay here. Gorgeous area. Breakfast was great.

Wonderful staff and very beautiful grounds. WE enjoyed our 3 day stay and then two weeks later a 2 day stay. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with something for everyone. The rooms are very well appointed and decorate nicely. It was extremely clean and relaxing. We will be returning soon.

My hubby and I ALWAYS stay at this hotel when we are in Gig Harbor. It has comfortable beds, a GREAT breakfast and the most helpful staff of any hotel anywhere. It is located central to so many great places and activities and has really great freeway access. If I could rate it higher than ten, I certainly would.

Everyone and everything was perfect. We felt right at home. Highly recommend for the friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was very clean, food was excellent and checking in and out was very easy. There was a pool and hot tub that was very clean. The king size bed was very comfortable.
