Best Western Fort Wayne I-69 North

The room is a king suite. Very nice and big. The bed is hard and uncomfortable. The morning desk clerk was very rude when asked for trash removal and new towels in our room. She claimed they only clean rooms every three days. I was like and?? I have a toddler so would like the trash changed and clean towels. Wow I was like okay thanks. Guess I'll have to go to Walmart and buy some towels and trash bags to clean the room myself. The breakfast was good and the hostess was very sweet and helpful. The night clerk was a real nice professional gentleman. Get rid of the rude morning desk clerk she makes the place look bad with her rude attitude. Also asked the cleaning lady with the cart she claimed that she couldn't but there were other lady's . Guess she was there pushing that cart with cleaning supplies and towels for nothing.

We're best western award members, and we stayed here because I was getting ready to have surgery.And it was close to the hospital. The best western did not disappoint. Very friendly rooms were very clean.The pool was great the night before. My husband and brother were able to get a quick bite before my surgery. It was just minutes from the hospital. Definitely would stay here again.

In the area for softball. Made a room block, no issues, clean, pool, no complaints. Very thankful for the checkout time so we could leave at 545am, play 2 games then come back and check out! Food nearby, easy on and off hwy. We will be back!!!

Very Clean and pet friendly. This is the first pet friendly hotel I've stayed at where you couldn't smell dogs. They we're accommodating and friendly. The rooms have been renovated with new counters and fixtures in the bathroom. They are located next to many restaurants in walking distance. I didn't give it a 5 because I thought the breakfast was not my style. I would stay here again for sure.

All franchises are not created equal. Call the place directly with your questions before your purchase. Call centers know little about the actual place.

Think twice before staying here! The hotel does not look like the photos, which are stock photos from the corporate office. It is dirty, dingy, run down and poorly managed. We were in town for a wedding and ended up canceling our reservation and stayed elsewhere.

My granddaughter and I were traveling from Michigan to Ohio when my vehicle started acting up. I pulled into the BW parking lot right off the highway, we were not staying there, however, the manager ( Shannon ) was a huge help in jumping the car and staying with us until the tow truck arrived. She and her team were very helpful and she did the very best she could by helping us out. Thank you!!🙂

My wife and I stayed at this hotel June 7. Frist the breakfast not that good, the eggs were runny and the sausage was colded and there was no regular coffee and wouldn't be any until Monday. For the price of this hotel should be a lot better. Wouldn't stay here again.

Sleep was great. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Maid service lacking in our room ..there were potato chips pieces scattered across the carpeting. Crunchy! No shampoo but two bottles of conditioner. The towels definitely need replacement. Morning breakfast lackluster. According to the room attendant who was on her cellphone sitting down at a customer table, the food truck hadn't come in. Coffee was black water.

Don't let the lobby scare you off. It nearly did me with the water stained ceiling and missing tiles. I was tired so checked in anyway. Charlie, at the front desk was great! So welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Corporate, give that guy a raise. When I got to the room I was pleasantly surprised at a completely updated room. You can see that this is not a new building, but everything in the room was redone and CLEAN. Nice floors, bedding, towels, and bath. I don't mind minor imperfections as long as it's functional, clean and odor free. TV was huge, larger mini fridge and nice microwave. Room was quiet all night. Didn't use the pool so no comment there. Breakfast was the standard fare and also had BACON! Fix the lobby ceiling and I'll give you one more star. For the price, I wasn't expecting the Hilton, and I think it was just fine. I will be watching for my $50 refund on incidentals charge.

The picture on the internet looks nice but when we got there it was dirty and had a smell of pets. They refused to refund the night even when I said I would not stay. My wife would not even go in to look at the rooms. The corporate BW said they would have to stand behind the proprietor of that location because of the good reviews 4-1/2 stars it had. My friend had to stay because he came in late from Switzerland. He said he would never have his wife stay there, and compared it to when he was in the military. The other people that I recommend the BW Hotel to, changed there reservations to a Hampton down the road. The man at the desk said he worked at the Holiday Inn down town and said that was much nicer.

We had a room with a king bed. It was clean and good sized. The bathroom had all the necessary toiletries. The bed was comfortable and the room was fairly quiet. You could sometimes hear a distant train and low hum of the freeway traffic, but it's very faint. I'm glad I used the app to check in and pick my room before I arrived because when I got to the desk there was nobody there. The phone was ringing but no one showed up to answer it. I wanted a physical key and to review my check in but after a few minutes I decided to go to my room. The other thing that was a bit annoying was that I saw there was an extra $20 charged on my credit card that didn't show up on my bill. By then I had left the hotel so I had to call. I was told there's a $20 deposit for incidentals that apparently gets returned after several days but I didn't recall seeing this at the time I booked the room or on my receipt. I'll have to monitor for this to make sure I get my money back.

The room was super clean, Mattress was older as it had a bit of a hump in the middle but otherwise very comfortable. Pillows we also nice. Staff at the front desk got us in our room quickly and we're so friendly. Breakfast was ok, I have had more options at other hotels but did the job. Location is great although little tricky getting to it if you have never been. It is in a plaza setting so great food options right there, no driving to find a place unless you want to. Jimmy Johns, Steak and Seafood restaurant and Bar and Grill right there. I would def stay there again.

Very nice hotel and staff, was pleased to see a mattress encashment room was clean and in great shape I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area, breakfast was small but at today's food prices that's to be expected otherwise this is a great place to stay with friendly staff and nice comfortable rooma

It is an immaculate facility with a great complimentary breakfast and many food choices. It is next to Richard's Restaurant and away from the typical crowded hotel/restaurant scenario. There are other restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend this property, and if I return to the area, I would stay again.

This is the BEST and cleanest, most well maintained hotel, as well as Best Western we've stayed in. I'm the pickiest of picky travelers, and I notice every flaw. From booking through Best Western.com under my Best Western account, to talking with front desk staff prior to arrival and during stay, and to our 4 night stay, this hotel has the best employees, from front desk to housekeepers, to maintenance staff who all work hard with a smile and said they are proud to work here when I would stop to compliment them. We had a King Suite, and it was the biggest King Suite we've ever been in of hotel accommodations. The commons area and unit we stayed in was so clean and well maintained from walls to carpet to floors to appliances. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. So many ceiling lights and lamps to keep our room well lit. I have read the reviews and can say honestly that many flaws pointed out are simply not what we saw. Staff is so accommodating and friendly. We plan to stay here again when in Ft Wayne.

The room was clean, colors were calming staff was courteous. Food was gourmet and dining area was kept clean and refilled. Vending machine with lots of choices was available. Employees were very friendly and helpful. The outside grounds were impeccable

The room was nice. Plenty of pillows on the bed outlets for chargers that were easy to access. Everything was clean. A/C worked well. We felt safe. The fitness center had 3 pieces of equipment. The treadmill worked one night but not the next. This was an overall positive experience and we would stay here again.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and very accommodating. When we checked into the hotel, they gave us a room on the 2nd floor. When we were walking to our room, we could smell something like burning and as we opened the door to our room, the smell was very strong. My husband said that it smelled like somebody was cooking fajitas and burned them in our room. I knew I couldn't stay 2 nights in there with that smell so I asked if they could move us. The clerk has no problem moving us but asked if he could follow me back to the room to check out the smell. He didn't even go into the room, all we had to do was open the door and he was "let's get you moved". He upgraded us at no additional charge to a king suite. I thought that was very nice of him especially since it wasn't his fault. Breakfast was okay, the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins, juice and coffee. Good location, several places to eat in the area.

A totally pleasant stay. Greeted by two friendly and professional staff at check in. Enjoyed the room, the breakfast, fast internet, top rate staff and certainly the value and location. We were close to everything. Right off major highways. By far, the best value we found in the booking process. Not disappointed. Will visit again...

This property is very well maintained and surrounded by plenty of restaurants so you can park and pretty much walk anywhere you need to. Pool was perfect temperature!! My room was huge so having family visit was nice with sofa and extra space

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, pleasant staff. And if you like Dominoes pizza then you're in luck because they are in the same parking lot and delivered to our room 20 mins after we ordered.

We got in late and check in was a breeze. Breakfast was warm and fresh We would definitely stay at this location again.

This location was VERY clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful Cost was very good especially now adays. Across the parking lot was Pine Valley Bar & Grill the food was excellent which made this stay even better. We stayed here on our way to Nashville and then again on our way back. HIGHLY recommend staying here at this Best Western @ 2902 E Dupont Fort Wayne.

Hotel was GREAT!! Quiet, clean, and comfortable. They have those great dual shades for complete light blocking. Window pics were taken at 9:30am on a sunny morning to show how well they work. A variety of pillows on each bed for your pick of comfort. Microwave and a large fridge in the room (that wasn't all frosted over!). Properly lighted workspace with an adjustable chair. Lots of conveniently placed outlets throughout the room (with a snug fit for the plug). Also a couple of USB outlets on the nightstand. Temperature control was responsive and reliable. Bathroom and shower were clean and water pressure was good. (Although, just like every other hotel, I have to ask why can't the plumbing industry come up with a durable line of hotel shower heads?) Lastly, the place smelled fresh.

We stayed for a volleyball tournament and got a king suite with a separate room. It was great because the teammates could hang out in the living room area/ shut the french doors and my husband and i had quiet in our room.

We were traveling to see family so we stayed for the night. The room was clean and stocked. The staff were nice and helpful. The area was close to the grocery store, places to eat, and gas stations. Would stay here again!

Large, clean, comfortable room, newly renovated. Breakfast hot, delicious and well attended by staff. Desk manager, Shannon, was very pleasant and accommodating. I will stay there whenever I go to Ft Wayne.

First the hotel was super clean, safe, staff was super all three shifts at front desk were great. Cleaning crew was excellent at their job, Maintenace got us a new tv in a matter of 15 minutes after being notified the other tv went green color. Breakfast was very good coffee was there 24 hrs to get. Hotel was super nice our king bed was comfy and no noise problems just an excellent stay. Wife and I stayed 4 days with our dog attending dog show everyone was great . I recommend staying at the BWI69 location you will not be sorry

Travelling with a pet we find it very difficult to get a decent room. I am sure some of the public do not care how much mess they leave from their animals. Even though we are charged a cleaning fee we do not allow the dog to sleep on beds & always travel with a dog bed. It's quire annoying when you are given a sub standard room because you have a pet. The room at this hotel meet our standards so for that a big thank you to BW

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast counter is a little crowded but the food was decent. The lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom is slightly inconvenient. The beds are uncomfortable but not a deal breaker. Food and drinks in walking distance is a bonus for sure.

Unusual location in a strip mall parking lot made it a little harder to find late into the evening. Breakfast fine, nice room and shower. Huge TV in the room, too. Bed very uncomfortable, I thought I could sleep anywhere but the mattress in our room was awful. It's been four days and they still have a $50.00 hold on my credit card—night clerk promised it would disappear when we checked out. That is not true!

Very pleasantly surprised with the clean, modern rooms. No problems with service. Employees were friendly and helpful. A pool and a workout room! It was easy access from the interstate and local restaurants.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay. The rooms was large and the beds were comfortable. The staff did a great job and the breakfast was good with several hot options including scrambled eggs, sausage, and waffles.

Friendly staff easy check in and out. Clean rooms and breakfast area. No bacon or sausage for breakfast to go with eggs. Exercise room was a bonus for me to do my morning workout. Place near my mother's.

The pool was clean, my daughter loved swimming in it. The hotel staff are helpful, even though it looks like they are short-handed. The location is within a strip mall area with restaurants within walking distance.

I liked the location because it was the beaten path for what I was there to visit. Private. The stay was great & quiet. The continental breakfast was the main amenity that I used. I also used the pool.

We stayed here one night . The hotel is clean and well maintained on the exterior. There is lots of free parking available . The lobby is very clean , front desk staff very helpful, friendly and professional . Our room was clean, spacious , with a comfy bed . We had a quiet night's sleep , no noise at all . We will return .

The staff treat you like family by going above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of!! Pool is always clean and available, beds are comfortable, breakfast hot and tastes good,grounds are kept up.

The suite was perfect for me us. We were able to put our infant to bed without having to worry about getting too quiet because there is an extra room. The breakfast was really good as well. It included a hot breakfast which is always nice. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff were all friendly, and kept up with breakfast. There's lots of options. Eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, bagels, bread, cereal, probably more I can't remember. Juice and coffee too. Because people were still eating they didn't stop breakfast right at 10, so you don't have to worry about being kicked out if you're eating. The pool is heated, inside with tinted windows, and 3-4 feet deep. Rooms were clean, beds are very firm. Right by the hospital, speedway, dominoes, a few other small places and a couple bars. All within walking distance.

Probably the cleanest, quietest friendliest Best Western I've been to. Easy check in easy parking helped make this a pleasant stay. Breakfast was much better than expected, too. Convenient location for our travels and would stay here again.

We have driven past this Inn 3-400 times or more and totally missed it. We've eaten right next door and missed it. We won the stay in a silent auction at a charity event. My expectations were MORE than met. The room was GREAT, spacious, welcoming and comfortable. They have an ample supply of cable stations to watch (if you choose). The Trolley Bar next door has excellent food and our waitress was stellar. The dining experience almost matched our lodging pleasure. This inn is only 20 miles from home. But our plans definitely include a return trip and we will probably add an extra night.

This hotel is 5 minutes from our son's home in Fort Wayne, IN. Perfect place for grandparents to stay during a visit. Pool was a great relaxer after a full day of full-blast grandchildren. Will choose this hotel over and over again when we visit.

This hotel was very clean! Nice pool. Rooms were remodeled. Decorated nicely. Liked 3rd floor away from noise. Didn't try breakfast. Only prob with pool is we checked in and we're told it's being cleaned, open on half hour, tried twice and was actually 1.5 hours later. It was cold!! We didn't have much time then cuz had theatre reservations. Ice machine out on our floor. Bathroom door squeaked. Shannon (Sharon?) at check in not friendliest, no smile. We'd stay again cuz comfy and clean and nice rooms, great price. Bonus, it'd part of a strip mall so over 6 restaurants in walking distance. Awesome!

Newly renovated. Very nice. Clean. Equipped. My accessible room was very roomy. Staff was very pleasant and went out of the way to see we were happy. Breakfast was good. Hot. Filling. Room was clean. Beds were very comfortable.

I feel like they falsely advertised this hotel I looked up reviews and pictures and they left out what the hallway and stairways really look like and also the hot tub was gone and just used as rock and plan decorations I will never stay again I was embarrassed for my daughter and her friends to stay here for her birthday. Also the key cards stop working around 10:45 when check out isn't until 12 definitely not worth $100/night

The room wasn't even clean all the way. Half done. The pillows and mattress are like rocks. The ac barely worked. Smelled like mildew. Noisy as hell. Staff wasn't wearing masks, and were deep in their phones.

Terrible 3rd shift manager at this hotel! Not only did she kick our volleyball players out of the lobby where we were having a team meeting, I wasn't aware Indiana was a prohibition state, but then followed us to the pool area! We had beer, all aluminum, not glass containers, and she literally held the door open at the pool as she announced we had to leave. We were treated like criminals, instead of volleyball parents and their kids. Meanwhile, the hotel floors stunk like marijuana, Indiana is not legal for that, but they were not concerned. We will never book their again!

Pictures look better online . If your looking for relaxation this is not your place . The room completely reeked of cigarettes, the fireplace didn't work , and the worst most uncomfortable bed I've ever laid in. I would never return to this place.
