As a travel agent I have stayed at numerous hotels around the country and around the world, ranging from very primitive options to ultra luxurious ones, and everything in-between. My husband and I found ourselves needing a room for one night in Casa Grande, Arizona. I am so glad I selected the Best Western Plus. The hotel has plentiful, free parking, free WiFi, a small outdoor pool and indoor workout room, neither of which we used. The Best Western Plus is an immaculate, new hotel, with bright, cheerful rooms, nicely and simply decorated, wonderful window blinds which help block the heat but still allows light to flow through the large windows. The air conditioning worked seamlessly and effectively which was necessary in such heat. Beds were comfortable, with ample bed lighting which can switch to personal lighting with the press of a switch if one is reading in bed and one doesn't want to bother one's partner. The front office staff were all very efficient and pleasant, offering us a snack plus a bottle of cold water from their pantry upon check in. Sometimes it is the smallest and the simplest of unexpected gestures that are the most gratefully received and appreciated. They do not have elaborate fruit options, but the normal banana/apple and orange selections. The free breakfast buffet in the morning offers tasty and healthy options. The yogurt machine and make your own waffle iron plus the elaborate coffee machine elevated the breakfast experience to a level not normally associated with Best Westerns. For lunch and dinner options, the Texas Roadhouse restaurant is located in the same parking area as the hotel, with many other dining options, mostly fast food, near by. Many restaurants are closed Sundays and Mondays in this area. Yes, this hotel charges a higher rate than others in Casa Grande but to us, it's well worth the money. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and know we will be back.
Always enjoy my stay with Bestwestern For business and personal stays. Looking forward to future stays.
A recent overnight stay was a first at this particular BW property. It is usually much more expensive than similar hotels in the area which is why my GF and I have always stayed elsewhere on our occasional overnight stays in Casa Grande, but I was rewarded a free night's stay as a BW Rewards Platinum Member so we decided to finally stay at this BW on this trip. Upon arrival we could immediately see why this property was always more expensive. Since this property is only a few years old, we probably shouldn't have been surprised by it's modern design and decor, but it was very well maintained and immaculately clean which speaks volumes about the management and staff. There is ample parking and secure entrances/exits on all sides of the building which makes it convenient no matter where your room is in the hotel. It is close both close to the I-10 and many dining establishments. The Texas Roadhouse is just a walk across the parking lot. The breakfast is better than average for a BW both in selection and quality. The attendant was friendly and kept the food area clean. It is due to all these positives that make it especially disappointing that we can never stay here again. While walking to our room, we noticed the placard on the door handle requesting that the room be serviced which was a red flag. As I opened the door, I saw that the bed was indeed unmade. Then, to my horror, I saw an open suitcase on the luggage rack. I don't know if anyone was actually in the room at that moment and I wasn't sticking around to find out. When I reported it to the front desk clerk she asked me MY name even though I just showed her my ID not five minutes before and she said there's not supposed to be anyone in there to which I replied, "but there is someone in there". She came back with "I know, I heard you." Very rude. When we finally got a new room and key, it was only then that she apologized for the mistake. Now, in all the years I've stayed at hotels/motels, I've NEVER been given a key to a room that was occupied. This raised serious safety and security concerns. This incident could have been very embarrassing at the least and very dangerous at worst. We kept both our inner locks engaged during our stay and I made sure to accompany my GF back to the room if we were both out at the same time. I get that mistakes happen, but it is the staff's responsibility to ensure that mistakes such as this don't. I wouldn't NOT recommend staying here, just proceed with caution
This hotel is very clean and even smells like a beautiful spa. Pam and Terese are so helpful, friendly and professional, providing outstanding service. Breakfast has a good variety of items, is fresh and very good. Will definitely stay here again when visiting family in the area.
Stayed for 30 days and on the last day asked for a 1 hour late check out and they wanted to charge me. Policy or not this shows no care for your customer. Holiday Inn 1 minute down the road actually cares about their loyal members.
I messed up my reservation and the staff here worked with me until I had a solution. They genuinely care about their guests. The hotel is clean, breakfast is ample, coffee 24/7. I highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.
This is a nice hotel in a good location with easy access to I-10 and Florence Ave. A Texas Roadhouse is just across the parking lot. Staff is very friendly, rooms are nice. TV and internet worked great.
I enjoy my stay every time I come here for business - my colleagues enjoy their stay as well. I love the high quality breakfast and clean room and the staffs are so friendly - it feels like home away from home!
While there are other good hotels in town, we opted for this one because it was only 2 years old. We realized that it was quite a bit more expensive than others in the area, but were hoping for a nice stay. Lobby area is very cold-looking, with the breakfast area right in the lobby as you walk in the door. Area filled with tables with upturned chairs on top. Not much to decorate the area or make in more comfortable, even though it was near Christmas. When we entered the lobby, early evening before 6;00pm, there was no one in sight. We stood at the reception desk for 13-15 minutes trying to be heard by calling out and tapping on the counter. After a long wait, a young girl came out from the back. Not very friendly, but at least she finally showed up. When we checked out there was discrepancy in the price. Same girl checked us out, possibly she was new and just lacking skills and courtesy. The rooms were very sterile looking with little decor, but they were very clean. The breakfast was merely adequate. At the same time, i want to give credit where credit is due. There was good lighting, with an extra reading light at each side of bed and more than sufficient electrical outlets. All good things, but it takes quite a bit to overcome poor service. In my opinion, hotel is overpriced and not a good value for your money.
Staff were professional and courteous , rooms are clean , well maintained and breakfast was delicious. I look forward to staying at the BW every time I come to Casa Grande for work. It's a home away from home.
I always stay here when I come to town. It is pleasant, clean friendly experience. The breakfast has great selections and fresh daily. The staff is always available and helpful to answer any questions. Quiet rooms , spacious and well laid out.
Clean hotel friendly staff decent breakfast selection. Definitely would stay there again. Enjoyed the convenience of Texas Roadhouse within walking distance of hotel plus BW provides a 10 percent discount coupon.
Great stay, outstanding service, outstanding staff. Clean rooms, hotel was over all a great stay. A lot of businesses around the area. Beds are comfortable, good pillows and comfortable comforters ………………………………………………………………………….
Friendly staff, great breakfast, clean hotel This was the best stay I have had in my travels. We were here while waiting to close on our house and it was very enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to stay in the area, short or long term. You have shopping and the highway right outside the hotel. An excellent experience!
Very new hotel with great service and a wonderful breakfast. This hotel is in a great location near everything you would need or looking for. The fitness center is clean. The rooms are very comforting. Walking distance to restaurants
Pam is absolutely wonderful and took great care of me and my family. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again. The hotel staff also ensured that all of our needs were met and were very responsive to our requests. Everything was clean and quite peaceful. If anyone is looking for a place to stay in Casa Grande, this is the hotel you should stay at.
Staff was awesome & the room was definitely clean & up to date! Breakfast was ok…could definitely use a few more options. I will definitely be back…I was not disappointed at all. Next time I'll remember to show my room key card to receive my 10% discount at Texas Roadhouse
This property is very clean and is very well managed. The staff is very professional, friendly and excels at customer service. Rooms are very clean and comfortable The best choice for lodging in Casa Grande.
We were in need of a hotel at the last moment. BW had availability and was kind enough to give a discount. The hotel was clean and bright upon entry. The staff was accommodating and kind. Our room was quite large and had the refrigerator and microwave we needed. The beds were quite comfortable and the noise was very little at best. The morning breakfast provided was sufficient. I would reccomand BW even if we were not in a bind. Why I chose the hotel across the street is beyond me. I won't make that mistake again.
Fantastic room for 5 adults. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Close to interstate. Quiet and couldn't hear any outside noises, or noises from the hallway. The staff was always ready to help us with extra towels and washcloths as needed.
I stayed here for 3 weeks while visiting a friend who was in the hospital. Hotel is very clean and in a great location. Staff is very nice and accommodating. As a solo traveler I wanted to stay in a place that was safe and secure, and I did feel very safe there. The amenities were very good. The hotel had a full hot breakfast that changed daily. A coffee machine in the lobby was very good and was available all day. The laundry facilities were clean and orderly. The room was spacious and had a refrigerator and microwave, and was very clean and quiet. There is a Texas Roadhouse restaurant in the adjacent parking lot within walking distance that was very good and convenient. There are also many restaurants in the area that one can drive to. The gym was neat and clean as well and never crowded. They do have an outdoor pool and jacuzzi that I did not use but it looked well kept. I've stayed at other hotels in this area in the past and this one is the nicest. I would definitely stay here again.
DO NOT STAY HERE. What a horrible hotel run by incompetent people. The hotel manager is a clown that had her awful staff call the police on my family saying that we couldn't have 4 people in our two double bed room despite telling the manager at checkin that we had four people staying in the room. I was literally woken up at almost 10pm to be harassed by these sleazy people. The woman at check in also insisted that there be no damage to the room as the hotel is relatively new which to me seemed odd to be told as if I were a teenager throwing a party despite telling the woman at checkin that my family is in Casa Grande because of a surgery my mother was having less than a quarter mile away. Upon getting in the room I made sure to take photos of a spot on the chair and powder residue on the walls as it was clear the people running this place are the type of people to pull some BS. Tried to call down to the front desk 5 times to inform the woman of this but my phone wasn't working. I went down to the front desk to show them the pictures on my phone and said my phone didn't work to which they did nothing about it. The person also made insensitive comments that if my mom's surgery doesn't go as planned and extending my stay. This hotel is located behind a Texas Roadhouse where we ate dinner. Upon walking back to the hotel the sloppily put together front desk person was taking pictures of us which my niece noticed. Later, my nieces went downstairs to get their luggage from my sisters car only to have that same person FaceTiming the manager and pointing her camera at them. After the police left our room, my sister and I came down to the front desk to figure out why we were being targeted by these horrible people only to be met with some more BS by the unkempt front desk associate claiming that the manager was at home monitoring the surveillance footage and that we had multiple girls coming and going from the hotel. The front desk thing insinuated to the police that we could be involved in human trafficking but if that was the case then I wonder why the police never bothered to investigate by entering our room and talking with everyone to ensure everyone was safe. This has been a beyond embarrassing situation and the management of this Best Western is straight garbage. Front Desk refused to give me any information about the manager and when I asked for a phone number to call I was told to Google it. I recorded the whole situation just in case these people want to deny the facts of what took place. Had a housekeeper interject herself in the situation and she told me that they aren't corporate and that they make their own rules. The front desk woman Pam is recorded saying we had 6 people in our room and then stated that the police removed a 5th person from our room and I asked for the verification of this bold faced lie and then deflected. Very glad I had that recorded. Racial profiling isn't a good look Best Western. DO NOT STAY HERE.
However, there are limited choices in this area. This hotel is brand new and very conveniently located to family. They offer a "full breakfast" but you need to know that it is not edible. The room windows do not open to allow healthy outdoor ailflow. When we returned home, I found that the hotel attempted to charge me $113 more than the checkout folio. I called the hotel to remedy this, and they didn't know anything about it, and the manager was going to be out for 2 days. They said someone would call me, but nobody ever did. 2 days later, the wrong charge was reversed, and the right charge was made, so everything was fine. But still nobody called me or apologized for the error.
This hotel is very quite and very clean! The breakfast was yummy and coffee was always available. We stayed over a holiday and we still had full services available. Housekeeping was efficient and friendly too.
The staff at BW+ Casa Grande do an amazing job of keeping the hotel clean and comfortable. We won't stay anywhere else in the area. We feel safe, and welcome every time we stay. It's a quiet place where we can relax after a stressful day.
I would encourage you to maintain your Hotel housekeeping service standards like I saw. For example, clean Guest rooms, deep clean amenities, Etc. All the two rooms I used was very clean and the house keeper came every morning to clean. Thank you about that.
Comfortable beds and clean. TV loud enough. Spacious room and a chair for reading. Toilet seat needs to be tightened. Room 112. One of the reasons we stayed here is the ad said hot breakfast. Usually that means sausage and egg or bacon and some boiled eggs. Yogurt was not individual. Came from a dispenser. Coffee was not great and where was the half n half. They had pre packed burritos which I detest. No scrambled eggs, no sausage. Please add hard boiled eggs. Not expensive and it would have made all the difference. Also I am supposed to be offered a bottle of water when check in because of the rewards. None. Aside from that bed was very comfortable. Disappointed in coffee and had a bagel in the end.
This hotel was easy on and easy off from the freeway Great room and amenities Plus you get a free breakfast You aksi get a discount at the local restaurant Staff was friendly and courteous Rooms were extremely clean there is plenty of parking If you will be in this area I recommend this hotel and don't forget to sign up for the rewards
We were just stopping through Casa Grande and we came upon best western. Though the prices were a little bit expensive, Audrey helped us get a better deal. When we got up to our room there weren't enough towels or coffee and she brought everything to us. She is amazing. Definitely worth the stay,
The hotel was very clean and nice. It is one of the newer hotels in Casa Grande, AZ and in an area with shopping and dinning very close. The staff was courteous and friendly, too... It had a clean and relaxing pool in the back...
I stayed at the Best Western Plus Casa Grande for 3 days on a family trip and it was a wonderful stay. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel was super clean and very quiet! The location is well situated within Casa Grande for access to restaurants and shopping. Will definitely stay here again if coming through Casa Grande!
Very nice Hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast offered was hot and there was a range of choices of breakfast items. As a solo traveler I felt safe and secure staying here. Bonus the pool was open!.
I spent a whole day with my partner, we heard not a single sound it was peaceful, clean, very eye catching, it's an amazing place to stay if you're traveling or even if it's just a couple days to get away. I highly recommend
My husband and I stayed here for a few days and it was wonderful. Great staff. CLEAN rooms. Delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. They welcomed my service dog as well. Lovely place to stay
Hotel very nice. Unfortunately, pool/ hot tube remain closed 4 months after hotel open. Area appeared ready for use but staff stated hotel hadn't received approval from state to use them. So disappointing as weather was 70s and sunny. Also breakfast food ran out 40minutes prior to end of breakfast time. Noisy at 11:30-12midnight. Awakened by tv in adjacent room. Need to upgrade insulation/sound barrier!
My husband was traveling for work. We were pleasenly surprised to find that our room was very spacious. That's always a great thing when traveling with 3 kids. The room was very clean. The breakfast choices each day were great. It was a little different each day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our only true complaint was that the pool was not open yet. If the pool is important to your stay you may want to check that it's open before you book!
If you're looking for a great hotel, especially long-term, choose the BEST WESTERN PLUS, CASA GRANDE! i stayed in a King Suite for 2.5 months and it was a great experience. Free Breakfast, WIFI, and two (2) 49" TV's -- one in King BR; other in the L/V. Never had any issues, staff was friendly; Owners remembered me with bereavement when a family member passed away! Its's the Best in CG!
Brand new hotel and very clean. On major boulevard so centrally located to restaurants, mall, gas stations. Hotel has very comfy bedding and pillows, which came in handy after a very long drive. Bathroom is bright and had tub/shower. Room included a microwave and refrigerator which was helpful. Breakfast was pretty good - eggs, waffles, cereal, muffins, bagels, bananas, OJ, coffee, tea (coffee/tea available 24 hours). Hotel also had a fitness room. Staff was phenomenal!
New beautiful facility. Staff was friendly and helpful, will stay again. Close to shopping - Walmart, Mall, Restaurants). Safe, well lit facility, easy in and out for parking and location. Price was a bit high but that is normal for this time of year in a demanding growing area.
