Best Western Canton Inn, Canton

Exceptional room with great a/c for Tx heat and hot showers along with excellent breakfast with variety of fruit, breads, muffins, biscuits, eggs, sausage, and plentiful coffee or drinks.

Despite the overall positive reviews, this was not our experience. We found mold in several areas of the room, including the bottom drawer of the dresser, the return drain on the sink, the ice bucket, and the ac unit. It made sense because the room smelled like mildew and mold when we arrived. We noticed that the longer we stayed, the worse our allergies got. Fortunately, we were only there three nights and don't have any chronic breathing issues. In addition to the mold, the room was really dirty. The carpets had not been vacuumed, and the shower floor was not cleaned properly. Normally, we can overlook a semi-dirty room, but there is no excuse for active and growing mold. This needs to be addressed promptly because mold can make future guests really sick, especially ones with medical issues that affect their breathing. I will return to Canton for the shopping, but I won't be returning to this hotel.

This is a roach motel + my room smelled like straight weed. When I went to go to bed that had a roach and a spider on the pillow

Good location, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Employees were very friendly and helpful . Lighted well at night and felt very safe.

I killed 10 roaches in this room!! Had to throw away all snacks and check all bags before we could load in our car. Killed one crawling up the mirror. Ladies at the desk were sympathetic but could only adjust the rate. For $220 a night I expected more. Won't stay here again!!

Staff consistently friendly, efficient, and effective. Room clean and not cramped with everything working and plenty of quality linens. Great breakfast with a couple of egg choices, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. Also a yoghurt dispenser to build your own parfait. Good coffee. Orange and apple juice and flavored soda available. Three cereals available and a variety of baked goods.

Overall we felt this was a good value. It's hard to find accommodations for a family of 5 and this Best Western had a room with 3 queen beds, for about $150 including tax. As we were just passing through and needed a place to sleep, this was perfect. The woman at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. Breakfast was good - biscuits, gravy, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, two kinds of muffins, a selection of cereal, yogurt, apples and bananas. Everything we ate was good. My only complaint was the cleanliness in the bathroom in our room. There was dust, hair and some light soil at the base of the toilet, and some light but visible soil on the wall by the toilet. The fan on the bathroom ceiling was very dusty. The baseboards in the bathroom and the room were dusty and dirty. It was off putting to say the least. If it were not for this we would have easily given the hotel 4 or even 5 stars. Based on the number of positive reviews I'm hoping we just caught them at a bad moment and this improves, and I hope others will leave a review to let us know if this continues or was just a one-off experience.

Read online this was the best in Canton Tx. Not sure of the other places. The parking was excellent and when we walked in we could tell the place has been updated and clean. It's a little off the highway but worth it. The front desk was very friendly and helpful Great stay

The phone has a ghost. Both at 3:22 and 6:02. No-one there when answered. THe staff seemed disconnected. The facility was fine. The room was clean. Freshly redone rooms. Freshened outside. Good as motels get.

Very impressed with the customer service of all employees, on the phone and in person. Very helpful getting me extra pillows (pillows are very small and soft, plus they found me a small step stool - beds are a bit high for a shorter person). Very well maintained. Housekeeping did a nice touch with towel & toliet paper presentation. Would suggest marking entrance of guest rooms on first floor... the humps are a trip hazard. I tripped the first time. May want to check door frames... mine had a gap (I can see light coming through). I didn't feel unsafe. I would definitely return... had great conversations with employees and other guests.

I was in a road trip with my family on 12/21/2024. We didn't book a room but luckily found this place so jumped in for a room. Devon was really sweet and nice that even told me about their reward program. She was personable and helpful. I will come back soon!

Disturbing! I had to unplug the refrigerator because it made so much noise. This is the desk chair that came in my room. Seriously! This chair is just wrong. Garage sale? I think best western could do better. May have to pass on the free breakfast tomorrow.

It is a nice, clean room for a 2day stay to experience First Monday Trades Day. The breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well and the bathrooms had been updated. Location was great. We will stay here always. Close to downtown.

Clean rooms at a good rate. The hot breakfast was great. It consisted of fresh real eggs , sausage and pancakes. Easy on/off from I 20. Very quiet. Office staff was very nice and helpful. Internet was fine for our purpose. Would recommend and would stay again

Good friendly staff, check in and out. Convenient location, just hard to find. Great rooms, bed and huge big TV. Excellent breakfast with quality selection and fresh “brewed” coffee. Oh, nice clean pool. Close to Highway intersection and downtown.

Great location for our visit. Rooms currently being renovated and this was on the website and at check in. Enjoyed the breakfast, cinnamon rolls I could eat my weight in them. We got a room that was renovated and slept good on the new bed. Staff provided great customer service. Santa approves this review

We stayed with Best Western due to renovation at home. This was a very pleasant experience and would stay again if the need arises.

We tried this on the way out of state. Room was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast in the morning was as fresh with many options.

We were in town for a quick trip for a funeral so did not want to spend a whole lot of money on a hotel. This hotel was a wonderful value for the price. The staff were extremely friendly and the room was remodeled and fresh. The bed was very comfortable and all amenities worked. AC blew cold and water pressure in the shower was awesome. Everything was extremely to our liking. No resort-type frills, but definitely worth the value. We plan to go back to Canton and will be staying here if possible.

Our stay was wonderful. The room was SO clean! The lady at check in was very friendly and helpful. The room and hotel exceeded our expectations our kids thought the towel folded like a monkey was awesome! Very fancy.

It has been a while since I stayed at the Canton Best Western. My husband and I usually stay there when we need a hotel in Canton to visit family, as we think it is the nicest hotel there. We had a king room. It had a desk with a desk chair (I think it was upholstered in vinyl), a chair upholstered in fabric with an ottoman, a small television with a blurry picture, a microwave, and a refrigerator. The bathroom sink area was open to the room, but did have a tile floor. The shower/tub and toilet were in a very small separate room. The room was spacious, but the furnishings were worn. The chair was threadbare and needed cleaning. The clothes hangers were the kind that have a pole with a knob that fits into a metal bracket that encircles the rod rather than hooks. (I assume this design is to deter people from stealing the hangers.) I do not like that style because (a) you cannot easily rearrange them; and (b) it reminds me I am staying in a low-rent property where other guests are likely to steal. Worse than that: the metal parts of the hangers (hook, knob, bracket, clips) were rusty. I tried to be careful to avoid accidentally cutting myself as I did not want to spend part of our Christmas visit in the local ER getting a tetanus shot. There was no blanket on the bed or in the room. Breakfast was disappointing. They did have hot food (eggs, breakfast meats) and I believe a waffle maker, but the pot that would have normally had oatmeal in it had gravy in it. Oatmeal offering was packets of instant oatmeal. Sigh. Coffee was Folgers, which I do not care for. The television was blaring Fox News. The price we paid (seventy-something before taxes) wasn't horrible for a motel in a small town. HOWEVER: the reason I felt compelled to write a review is: during First Monday weekends, this hotel charges close to two hundred dollars for the same room. I would be furious if I were charged that much. I suspect ownership of this hotel has changed and the new owners are just trying to squeeze as much revenue out of the property without investing anything in it. I am not sure if we will stay at the Canton Best Western again. Definitely not on First Monday weekend.

Staff was unprofessional, both in appearance and attitude. Wa unhelpful. The rooms were not handicapped accessible and there was a pool of blood on the landing of the stairs. I advise against this motel.

The bed was very uncomfortable. It was stiff and the tv could have been bigger. The location of the Hotel is good. It's easy to get to and easy to get back onto the I-20. It was very quite. I was travelling alone and I felt safe.

We stay here every time we are in Canton. The staff is absolutely amazing. Breakfast is wonderful!! There is a great selection of options. It's a little older property but it is very clean and well maintained.

The room was clean, the a/c worked and the heater in the bathroom was great! The breakfast was amazing with an automatic pancake maker that my grandson loved. The people were very nice - especially the lady doing the breakfast. We were there for a close family member's funeral.

I was not sure what to expect in a small town and we were in for a family funeral. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff and service were outstanding. The place was extremely clean. They were remodeling the lobby area but had a temp station set up and everything was a breeze. Breakfast was decent with lots of options (I prefer just coffee and piece of fruit but family liked it all). Rooms are not the most modern but nicer than expected and CLEAN. Although we opted for no room service, they left a bag of fresh towels and toiletries on the door which I really appreciated. I will definitely stay again when in town.

The customer service was excellent. Very helpful and professional. Breakfast was delicious. This facility is presently in poor condition and room rates are very overpriced. It's' my understanding they will undergo a renovation soon and we might give it another try after. Definitely wouldn't stay again if property stays as-is.

This hotel was managed with caring employees, clean rooms, safe environment, and close to everything in Canton. We had a pleasant stay. Will be back. Excellent price for comfort. Friendliness goes a long way.

We arrived into Canton Best Western around 3:30 pm, and were promptly checked into our room. The room was already cool, which was important due to heat wave Texas was experiencing at the time. The room was clean and ready for us. The air conditioner was a little noisy when the compressor kicked on and off, but it kept the room plenty cool. The pool area was typical “hotel pool”, but was clean and somewhat cool. Plenty of towels were provided poolside. Breakfast in the morning was nice. Biscuits, gravy, pancakes, sausage, eggs, etc. , and being served from 6am to 9am was nice also. The only draw back was access to get to the hotel was not marked well, making it easy to miss. Nice, large “trucker friendly” parking area also. I'd stay here again when in Canton without hesitation.

This is an older property and it shows, however the room we were in, on the second floor had been remodeled/refurbished and was very comfortable. Good mattress and plenty of pillows. Old very recognizable design but everything worked and was comfortable. Good value at this price point.

I'm very happy with my choice to stay at this location. The price is comparable to others nearby. We enjoyed our stay. Clean and well supplied rooms. The internet service was fast and dependable. We will stay here again if in the area and need a hotel.

Hotel was Spartan, but very clean. Beds where soft and comfortable and the room AC was good and cold. Staff was friendly and efficient Hot breakfast the was served every morning was fresh made and delicious, really was something that you would expect to find at a higher end hotel. I've stayed at hotels that were $150 a night that did not have as good of Breakfast service.

This hotel is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Great staff too! Pool was clean food was good nice rooms lots of extra pillows. Nice smooth parking lot with easy access to your room. The tvs were very small tho.

Large room, large fridge, sheer and blackout curtains. Full breakfast. Not a new hotel but clean and quiet. Located just off the I20 service road but not directly on the highway so you don't hear the traffic. Easy access from I20 service road or Highway 19 in Canton. Outdoor swimming pool with a small splash pad & weight room. Friendly accommodating staff. Extremely convenient to Canton Monday Trade Days. Gas stations and restaurants (Jalapeño Tree, Mexican, Whataburger, Dairy Queen, Dairy Palace, Taco Bell, Jerry's Pizza, Dennys, Golden Chick, McDonalds) all located close.

lots of good things about this place. the breakfast (included) was great! pet fee was very reasonable. beds were very comfortable. great location as well. only down side was water pressure in shower in our room was poor, and although we got the in room internet working, we had to place a call to a tech guy. staff was friendly. would stay again.

First time staying at Best Western. We are Diamond Status at Hilton. I have to say, this was a Great Experience all the way from the Front Desk to Room, Breakfast and Check out. This hotel could not have been cleaner, the breakfast was superb and the staff was Extremely Friendly.

The hotel is priced higher than any other. Breakfast is only a 3 hr window on the weekend and if you don't get up before 9, you're out of luck. We had issues connecting to the WiFi and was told to call someone else. The tv was so dark you couldn't watch unless all the lights were turned off and a universal remote will not adjust. The toilet was so low to the ground that unless you're short it's difficult to get off of. The bed was so worn out and uncomfortable. I appreciate someone taking out my trash and bringing fresh towels I was uncomfortable with someone coming in my room without my knowledge while I was gone.

While the hotel is older and out of style the staff does a wonderful job of keeping everything clean and well maintained. The breakfast selection was a pleasant surprise and the breakfast area was clean and the attendants made sure everything was kept stocked. The food quality was better than I have seen in much newer and fancier venues.

First Monday Canton girls trip. Room are to expensive for the quality. I will drive a little further for a better values next time. I rented 2 rooms, 108 and 204. I had hoped to get connected rooms but wasn't able to even though I booked in June or July.

Extremely clean, detailed room. Great employees (Front desk, kitchen staff, maids, management). Great breakfast. I felt very safe. No complaints. I definitely will stay at the Best Western in Canton, Texas again and will recommend this place to friends or anyone. When I attend the trade days, that will be the spot I'll stay!! I will recommend this hotel. It was clean rooms and quite. Staff friendly and kind we will be returning in a few months . The pool was nice not over crowded. Can't say enough about the hot breakfast bar.

Clean, great staff, good breakfast, quiet, easy on/off heading to Dallas from Louisiana. Great alternative to staying in Dallas! Allows pets. Safe for parking, moving trucks. Lots of room for parking and moving trucks. Just east of Dallas. Regular "down home" sort of town, doesn't put up with the crap you get in the cities. Nice little town, regular, working ranch-type unpretentious folks in Canton, Texas! Dog injured foot in move, found vet immediately, addressed injury, and back on road just like that. No foo foo stuff in this city with vets either, they address the problem and get it done without all of the nonsense you get in the city. Very sensible place to stay if you are on the road and need a good, safe, clean place to stay. A little older property, but would take it in a second over newer properties in Dallas! As a truck driver, it's not always easy to find a good hotel with truck parking available. Not only was there dedicated parking, but it was actually pretty roomy. The room itself was a bit older style, but the chair and bed were both very clean and comfortable. The desk area was pretty nice to be able to setup my laptop and do some work. All the staff were really friendly, from the time I called until the time I left. Anything I needed, they took care of. The hot breakfast was really good too. I'll be staying here again in the future.

This two story motel ( There is an elevator) provided us with a very comfortable overnight stay. Large room, comfortable bed and excellent shower. Staff was very friendly and professional and the breakfast while standard hotel fare was filling and plentiful. Overall impression, good location, enjoyable overnight hotel

The property and rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were all helpful and pleasant. Checking in was easy and quick as was checkout. Internet in the room was free, something which is important to me, and it worked well.

Great hotel, no problems with anything. Staff was very helpful with rooms, breakfast. There were maps for eating and local entertainment. Great location for the First Monday events. Rooms were a bit pricey for me but, it was First Monday Days. I checked around and they were all pricey in this area of Canton.

We find this to be a very reasonable priced hotel. Comfortable clean beds, and with a very well managed dining room for breakfast. It is located off the highway a bit so seems quiet. We stay here several times a year, and recommend it for travelers. There is an outdoor pool and plenty of parking.

We travel to First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas a time or two a year. We ALWAYS try to get our room booked at Best Western Canton Inn. It is the most convenient hotel to the trade days grounds. The rooms are clean, the service is exceptional and the breakfast is wonderful!

This property is not new but is extremely well kept and spotlessly maintained. The staff is friendly, qualified and do an excellent job of making your stay pleasant. I have stayed in Canton numerous times on business trips and can stay at any facility I choose. Jennifer and her staff have made the difference in me always coming back to this hotel! From the friendly check in, the fresh hot breakfast, spotlessly clean rooms to seamless checkout. The rooms are always well stocked and everything always works as it should, when it should. I have spent more and less on a room but not had a better experience for any price.

The service hospitality was above and beyond the moment we called for reservations and the moment we left (we had left our phone charger in the room and they made a courtesy called to notify us). The rooms were clean and smoke free. Heating worked perfectly. Drainage worked perfectly. Used both the refrigerator and microwave and had no problems (all of these are significant concerns when we stay at a hotel). Overall, an excellent experience.

It was a little hard to find as the in and out via Google maps took us through the alley. The better entrance is over by the Days Inn. Dogs allowed. First floor, easy in and outside with the dogs. Spacious pet area. Well lit spacious parking lot. Clean rooms. Only downside was I had a human trafficking scare the one night. I guess being so close to Dallas and all. Glad I had my dog and the guy slowly came in, parked, then took off roaming the parking lot then the Days Inn lot. Just grateful both lots were super lit. Loads of suspicion. Anyway, continental breakfast available. Mini fridge and microwave in room.

This hotel was clean and friendly. Had the best visit. great location. staff was so great. We enjoyed the workout room. Our family had a really good time. We ordered extra coffee and it was in our room when we arrived.

We were attending a wedding for the weekend and stayed here because it was close by. The room was clean, staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a welcome surprise that the motel had a full breakfast which was quite good and the area was very clean. My husband thought the bed in our room was quite comfortable. We also had our small dog with us. The motel allows pets at a small charge. The grounds had a large area to walk your pet. There are nearby fast food restaurants to walk to for a quite bite. I definitely recommend this motel.

Best Western Canton Inn is a very clean and comfortable place to stay. The rooms have coffee makers, refrigerators and microwaves--and they all work. The beds are crisply made and comfortable. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise consisting of real scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage and nice biscuits. It is run by friendly people. I always stay here when I come to visit my dad.

The staff is great! It's the cleanest one in Canton. Great breakfast and walking distance to meals. It's a little outdated, but the rooms are very clean and the staff is outstanding! It has a pool and also a splash pad for the kids. Very family friendly!

I checked into on Thursday, Sept 2, 2021 to for the Labor Day Weekend. Checked out on Sunday, Sept 5. Overall, everything was fine. Upon arrival, front desk clerk was super friendly and very pleasant and made check in a breeze. My room was clean and sanitized with plenty coffee, towels, etc. TV was clear and good channel selection. Bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. Air worked great. Water was fine first night although the shower pressure was a little low, but was tolerable. 2nd night had the same problems, but on the 3rd night I had no water at all in the shower and nothing but cold water at the sink. I called the front desk which the first time calling was no answer. Called a second time and when inquiring about why no water in shower was told "we have water heater issues". I asked if this meant we would have no water for the night or what and she simply responded by saying, no maam, no water. NOPE, I wont choke this up to Covid excuses and say management needs to better train employees on how to talk to customers and how to respond to such problems. She offered no apology or "we are trying to get a serviceman out asap", offered no discount, no refund, no nothing. While I realize this a problem that can happen anywhere to anyone...I would expect a little more professionalism and at least the offer or mention of something in same way to at least try to make things right. I GOT NOTHING. I didnt bother asking....leaving a review on social media usually justifies lack of concern on a business' part. I was already willing to overlook the roach I had to kill crawling on my rooms wall on my second night just as much as I willing to overlook the fact WIFI never once worked even after going to the front desk asking to confirm my password to make sure was being entered correctly and looking TWO clerk in the face explaining IT IS NOT WORKING. Overall, I would probably still recommend. Pool was great. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices and they did keep coffee made all day/evening with plenty of sugar, creamers, etc. Parking is plentiful. Well lit and I felt safe. I would stay again especially considering this seems to be the best of the area.

When rating a hotel or motel with the 1-5 star system, I think it's important to note; the stars given are for the rating of a hotel in its own category. In other words, you wouldn't give a cheap motel 5 stars in comparison to a Four Seasons or Ritz. Well, you get the point… So how does BW in Canton rate, compared to its peers? Well, I've certainly stayed at nicer Best Western Hotels in my day, as this one is quite a bit dated. The rooms could use a super update, with new carpet, better bathrooms area, and a nicer shower. And the pool, which is rather on the small side, was in need of a major scrubbing. The bottom was filthy. But my room overall was clean; and the A/C worked really good, considering it was 102 outside. But the reason I'm giving it 4 instead of a 2 or 3, is simply the service. The staff is super friendly, and seems to work very hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And I'll note, the continental breakfast was quite good. The lady running it is in there super early, and has everything out hot and ready to go. A shout out to her, and especially the gal on the evening shift, who both made for a pleasant stay. I'm not sure this place would compare to a Hampton Inn or HIE in this category, but given the excellent folks working here, I'd certainly recommend it for a one night stay.

The Best Wester in Canton was fantastic. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great. The staff very friendly. I feel I got an upscale hotel at a reasonable price. I would recommend staying here and will stay here again. Keep up the good work.

Front desk was not helpful at all. Didn't care that we evacuated and were displaced. We wanted to extend our stay due to the hurricane increasing in strength. They were going to make us move 3 vehicle loads of our belongings because their regular was checking in that weekend and wanted our specific room number. Also wanted to charge almost $190 due to an event even though we weren't there for that event and were tight on funds since we didn't know how long we would be in a hotel. They wouldn't help in any kind of. The best part was another evacuee went and asked to extend and about the rate and they were told they could stay in their room and they would override their rate at checkout (we sat in the breakfast room and listened to this other evacuee tell her husband this). So how can you help one evacuee and not the others. So we ended up finding another hotel in the next town over who was much more accommodating and helpful.

Great experience. Great location. Friendly and helpful front desk. Very good breakfast. Tables and chairs around pool area so we could sit sit and chat in the evenings. The only thing I would change would be the shower head in our room because you couldn't alter the flow.

We stayed there as part of an event. When you don't have a choice in who makes the reservations, then you can't complain. But as a member of IHG, this hotel doesn't even come close to my expectations.

This hotel has easy access from the interstate, desk staff and manager were pleasant, professional, and helpful. The hotel is older, but very clean. The rooms open to the outside, if that's a security concern. I would stay there again.

My wife had previously booked a stay at another hotel in Canton, needless to say we did not stay there. I came over to the Best Western and was greeted by a lady named Rylee (hopefully I spelled it right) she was very helpful and got us in a room to save our visit to Canton. Room was great and very comfortable thank you Best Western Canton Inn and look forward to our next visit.

The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, breakfast was a substantial continental with plenty to choose from and the Cafe staff were great. The hotel is right in the middle of pretty much everything in the area. Would stay here again.

THe hotel room was clean and freshened daily. The front personnel were acommadating, nice and professional. The breakfast was awesome, especially during COVID and the waitstaff and food preparers were friendly... everyone wore mask. The hotel overall was easliy located and clean parking and grounds. The swimming pool and splash pad were in working order.

The hotel was ok, but needs new mattresses, and lots of minor maintenance items, including exterminating. It was right off the freeway, and the prperty is pet friendly so rooms have a little odor to them.

We were ending a three week trip on the road for business. I needed a guest laundry (which they don't have) but the young lady at the front desk was amazing. She had such a joyful yet calming presence and helped me getting documents printed and even let me borrow and eraser to update my calendar. The parking is good if you are pulling a trailer and the internet was good. I would recommend staying here if you are in Canton. We have family that lives here and it is the BEST in town.

This place was clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing. Breakfast was actually hot and not all cards. Fantastic place. We would stay here again. We didn't use the pool, but it was clean. Parking was good. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Check in and out was a breeze.

All staff we had contact with was pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained. We were in a room facing the Interstate and hardly any highway noise was noticed . Breakfast was AWESOME!!!!

Rooms were clean, spacious and comfy bed. The staff was amazing and most helpful. Always smiling and genuinely glad to see you. The breakfast was a full spread with all the fixins. The breakfast ladies made you feel very welcomed. Plenty of parking for large trucks. Close to EVERYTHING!

I spent four nights and had a very clean, well laid out room. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. They had a full breakfast that I did not expect during these Covid times. I would definitely stay there again.

Some kind of grease on bed's headboard . TV remote broken and when I asked for a new one, offgoing shift didn't tell new shift. I went down to desk after 45 minutes to get new remote, but that one didn't work either!

We booked 2 nights and as soon as we checked in and got to our room we should have left. The room smelled so bad that we went to dollar general and bought febreeze. The wifi did not work at all so we called the front desk and she said let her work on it and she would call back, but never did. We again called and she offered to reduce Our stay to 79 and cancel our 2nd night stay. I might stay here if it was the only option, but definitely not if I had another choice.

The property seems well maintained and clean. The only problem that seems to continue is the internet access from the rooms. The last time we stayed here, the access was slow and intermittent. The most recent stay, I was never able to connect at all.

I don't like to post negative reviews, but with my experience at this property, it certainly deserves one. Old and doesn't look like it's been updated or maintained very well. It's one of those places where you park your car in front of your door. Check-in was fine, the front desk lady was nice and friendly. The first room, after unloading bags from the car, I noticed the flush handle on the toilet was hanging down. It looked odd so I tried to flush it and found the plastic rod inside the toilet was broken in half. I told the front desk and she said the maintenance man had just left and wouldn't be back so it couldn't be fixed. This was at 3:00 pm. She gave us another room on the opposite side of the hotel so we had to pack our stuff back in the car and drive to the next room. Upon walking in, it was hot and stuffy so I tried everything to get the A/C to come on, but it wouldn't. I called the front desk and the lady said, "Oh, I forgot to turn it on. I'll do it right now." The A/C is controlled from the office? It came on, but no matter what I set it on, high cool, medium cool, or whatever, it didn't do anything but very noisily blow tepid air. I eventually just turned it off and opened the door for a while because it was cooler outside than in the room. Every 5 - 10 minutes, the TV picture, no matter what channel, would pixelate, like watching satellite during a heavy rainstorm. It would stay unwatchable for 2 or 3 minutes then go back to normal. It was not raining or even overcast. The room was advertised to be 2 queen beds, but if those were queen size, they are the smallest queens I've ever seen. The beds weren't even the same size - more like a full and a twin. The room curtain was on a rod several inches from the window which resulted in the very bright light right outside our room glaring in through the open slot and there was no way to close it all the way. Even with all the lights out, it was like another one was left on. Extremely annoying. The shower head was clogged so unless you put it on the intense water pressure, it mostly just dribbled. And for this we were charged $98.64. So not worth it!

If you are in the Canton Tx. area there is absolutely no better place to stay than here. Superb staff and excellent amenities. Location is quiet even though it is close to the interstate. Plenty of dinning options nearby. Breakfast served for guest (safe and clean with gloves provided during pandemic) Great food and friendly service.

The breakfast was fantastic, they took great care to make sure everyone was safe and healthy during their stay. The staff overall was very helpful in finding things around the hotel. During this trying time it was really nice to go and enjoy some time away from home.

A great place to stay to attend the Canton First Monday Trade days. Great staff and facilities. It is just a short walk to several restaurants. Only 1 mile to the Canton First Monday Trade Days site. Book early and enjoy your stay!

I went here with my partner, the room was neat and tidy and the only real complaint I had was with the internet. There are plenty of food options very close by, and their procedures for helping stop the spread of the virus are very well laid out and followed.

This location was awesome. The night staff and morning staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was big, nice and clean. They had a full hot breakfast that was delicious. We brought our two dogs, also. They had plenty of outdoor space and grass for the dogs to walk around. Easy parking by each room. It was a great experience.

Although the room and hotel were tidy and the staff pleasant enough, our room had a strong musty odor when we entered. The pool had green stuff (algae?) on the bottom in areas. That is all I have to say.

My daughter and I stayed at the Best Western Canton Inn during our trip to First Monday Trade Days. Our room was very clean and quiet. The pool and area around it were clean as well. I was helped by a nice lady working in the breakfast area. The staff was taking all necessary precautions due to COVID-19 while still making guests feel comfortable. I was happy with the stay and would book it again.

If you want an extremely clean room, quiet nights with comfortable beds, you want to stay at the Best Western in Canton, Texas. I attest this Best Western has extremely professional, friendly staff that make your stay a joy. You may find a cheaper hotel in Canton, but if you stay at this Best Western, you will be glad you did because of the comfort and outstanding free breakfast buffet.

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western Canton Inn. From the moment we checked in to when we checked out, the staff was exceptional. I really appreciated the staff protective covering and cleanings during the pandemic. The breakfast was very good and the ladies serving were very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again when we stay in Canton.

Nasty, always noisy, last time there roaches crawling on table between beds. Commode lids always loose, nasty bedsheets and bedspreads. Go ten minutes more East on I20 to brand new Fairfield Inn, beautiful, clean, comfortable

Very friendly and efficient staff. Clean room and heater was already on when I arrived. Do wish a disposable shower cap was included in to bath convenience items in the future. Staff was very friendly, efficient and assigned me a downstairs room close to the office. I really appreciated this as I was a sole female and checked in very late

We stayed here on our Holiday Travels. The property and rooms were very well maintained. The hotel is pet friendly with a small fee. The breakfast was setup and stocked well. Hotel is close to interstate but far enough away to be fairly quiet. The biggest downfall is the short toilets. They are definitely too short if you are over 6ft tall. All in all a good stay and would return again!

Best Western, Canton, Texas had very clean rooms, towels were great, bed and pillows were very comfortable, climate control worked well. Refrigerator and microwave were in excellent working order. Pet friendly facility. RV hookups. Great coffee and breakfast! Very helpful staff. 5 stars in my book!

I've stayed at this hotel several times this year and I've always had a great experience. All of the staff was great. The breakfast was also fantastic. Easy on and off the highway. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable.

Old worn out and filthy furniture. The desk chair looks like it was taken oit of tge dumpster. The lounger had stains from hair jell. Arms of chsir worn and stained. Lukewarm water in the shower. Toilet was same size as a preschool toilet, way too small

Clean room in a decent location. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was about the same as other best western locations. Really nothing to complain about and nothing to rave about either. Good value for the money. Would stay here again

My brother and I stayed at the Best Western in Canton so that we could work on our property in Van Zandt County. It is so nice to stay at an extremely clean, quite and comfortable hotel in Canton, Texas. You will not find a better hotel in Van Zandt County. On Saturday night, the hotel was extremely full and when we went to bed, we did not hear a thing. There is nothing better than a restful night of sleep and the Best Western in Canton, Texas delivers that.

Friendly people at the desk, at breakfast, maids. Would always chose this motel. I have been her many times before and will do so again. Very clean rooms and the breakfast was delicious! The central location in Canton, Tx makes it simple to find anything in the town. It is also easy access off the highway I20.

It has be updated and is really nice. Has a good breakfast. Was quiet. The soap was good with argon oil and not just the cheapest. Decent exercise room. No problems. Will likely stay here again. Places to eat within walking distance.

Easy check-in, comfortable clean room, great location, tons of parking, our place to stay when we are in Canton. The pool is inviting, the splashpad is great. I have to admit, the breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever had anywhere. We will always stay here for First Monday n Canton.

We were in town for our niece's high school graduation. (Almost) Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff were friendly. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. We loved the pillows! Breakfast was perfectly cooked (especially the scrambled eggs!) and delicious. The breakfast attendant even brought us almond milk when she heard that my husband and I were lactose intolerant. Our only issue was that the toilet in our room was tiny. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay.

Passing through Canton and found this diamond in the rough. Friendly front desk and breakfast room staff. Rooms and public areas very clean. Older hotel but they have done a good job of keeping it up to date. We stayed in 210. Firm bed and no noise. There is a reason they're rated #1 for this area!

I can't think of a single negative thing to say about our stay here. The room was clean and beautiful. Although the outside looked like a decent motel, the rooms appeared as nice as higher end hotels we have stayed at. From the sweet handwritten note by housekeeping hoping we enjoy our stay, to the sweet lady refreshing the breakfast area in the morning, everything was perfect. The breakfast was amazing and we will definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in Canton, Tx. again.

Lobby is very upscale and flows into the breakfast area. Not your normal small town motel. Great staff. Comfy beds. Plenty of parking. Trailer and semi parking. I stay here every time I need a motel in Canton. The WiFi is faster than at my house

I always enjoy this Best Western. I stay here everytime I visit family in Montgomery, AL. I live in Albuquerque and Canton,TX is near halfway. This Best Western is the best! I like the King size bed and the rooms are always clean and the breakfasts are delicious with a variety of cold and hot items.

Room was very clean and nice. Staff was super nice! The breakfast was very good! There was waffles, scrambled eggs, patty and link sausage, cereal, toast, muffins, cinnamon rolls, oatmeal, juices, coffee, etc. etc. This is not a normal continental breakfast. Way better! Many places to eat at that are very close to the hotel.

Nice place to stop for the night. Easy access from the freeway, only caveat---able to hear all the freeway noise. Staff very friendly, room clean, and prices reasonable. Easy access to restaurants in town.

We stayed for one night, our room was very nice and very clean. The front desk staff were very friendly. We were with a group and they let us use the breakfast area for getting together with our group for a lite supper and snacks. The location was perfect and the breakfast was great, especially the waffles.

Not the pest experience ever. My wife left her neckless and bracelet in the room the day we checked out. She call the office to see if the cleaning staff had found them. That was a no. so she asked if they would look for them and they did that. And still no. We also wanted to come back that same day to look ourselves in person and the office manager said for us to not make that drive that night and suggested that we come the next morning at 8:30 and that she would put a block on the room because she had several other rooms open and it was already late. So we got up that morning and made a 1.5hr drive to find out that she did not put the block on the room and that it was rented out. Still no neckless or bracelet. So not only we are out of a neckless and bracelet we wasted a half of a day driving for nothing. We hope the cleaning person or manager enjoys the neckless and bracelet. So I don't think that we will be returning anytime soon. And yes I will be passing this message along to others.

Check in was fast, the doors were on the outside of the building and we parked right by our door. The hotel rooms are really big and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and you had a big choice.

We stayed here for 1 night recently during a business trip through the area. Hotel setup is OK. Service at front desk is good. Breakfast is good and friendly service. Rooms are up to par with Best Western standards. All together a good hotel to stay in when you are in the area.

Pretty much what you'd expect in this location for this price point. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good and well stocked. I'd stay here again if I were in the area for a night or two. Hotel is right off the highway, so convient for travellers. There are a few places to eat within walking distance.

Exceptionally clean rooms with very comfortable beds. The staff was very pleasant and handled the checking in and out smoothly. The breakfast was well prepared and the wait staff very helpful. The maid service is what impressed us the most. The cleanliness of the room's was what impressed us the most. Ultimately that's our biggest concern and they did an excellent job.

We go out once a year on the Memorial weekend for our medieval group's event. If we aren't camping then we stay here. Last time about 12:30 in the morning my mattress failed. We called and they had a room for me right away. It was after 2 in the morning when I was finally able to get to sleep, but it was a restful one. The next night one of the couples in our camp couldn't stand the heat anymore so they came and joined me. We all slept well and had a wonderful breakfast in the morning.

Terrible place...even as a last resort you're better off under a bridge...literraly your last stay at a best western motel.....you should be ashamed of yourselves or be forced to sleep in your own cesspool

This was our second time staying here during a weekend trip to the Canton Trade Days. The rooms are always clean, they are updated, and the beds are comfortable. I did not hear any noise and we were on the bottom floor this time.

The place is cool, I would drive to Tyler for a better Hotel experience. The place is well ran, rooms are fairly clean. The breakfast is average at best. No meeting rooms at the Hotel. Staff is awesome I would certainly stay there again.

This is a hotel that I will choose to stay in each and every time I spend the weekend in Canton. This hotel was well maintained, friendly and attentive staff and great amenities. Completely satisfied with this hotel!

Can't say enough about this place. The large 3 bed room we had was spotless. The staff was extremely courteous and soft spoken. ...but the breakfast was better than most full restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel if your staying in Canton. It is also very close to the world's largest trade days event.

We had a King room, very clean, house keeping leaves you a very nice message, made you feel welcomed. Our bed was extremely comfortable, room cool. Breakfast is excellent with lots of choices. Front desk was very helpful when I ask for directions even giving us a map of the town. We will definitely be staying there on our next trip to Canton

A quick weekend trip equaled a nice place to stay at a reasonable price. We found it here! Easy access to the interstate.. good location to what we needed to do.. and a lot of nice folks running the place! The room was clean, well appointed, quiet, and a good breakfast was what we found. One mile to Trade Days fairground. Just off I-20. Next to a local tradition Dairy Palace. Ice Cream and food. Be sure to stop in. The BW is really clean and updated at few months ago. Great wi-fi. Great BF buffet. Very clean. Good hot water. We could not hear the traffic on this the Interstate. We will return to this location. Good Front Desk Helpful and polite. Very clean.

I normally use another hotel brand when I travel however, this Best Western did a good job! I was pleasantly surprise when I walked into the room, it was not a new building but a newer building, its very well kept the room was clean and fresh! You get breakfast with your stay and surprisingly a very TASTY breakfast, it was beyond clean in the breakfast room which is nicely situated on the property. (Really it's a good breakfast) I only had one issue with the property... We were there for two nights after the first night when we left for breakfast we realized we didn't need our room card to get into the room... The door was broke and the room was not locked ALL night long...Thankfully we always use the Deadbolt so we were safe. The front desk was very apologetic and moved our room immediately as the maintenance person was out for the weekend. Over all the property is worth a visit, the Staff is Friendly, the Breakfast Fantastic and by far one of the best properties in the area!

Our room was very clean, and the bed comfortable (even for a hotel mattress). We had a room on the corner and at the top of the stairs but we weren't overwhelmed with outside noise (bonus for light sleepers). It's right off the highway and conveniently located near several dining choices. The staff was very friendly and the hot breakfast was fresh and the breakfast area was clean and not cramped.

We stayed here for two days when we were in town for a funeral. The room was very clean, roomy and comfortable, and the AC worked great. Staff was pleasant, personable and extremely nice. The only reason this place lost a star is the bathroom. There were insufficient towels, which is not a big deal, but there was no vent fan! That bathroom turned into a sweltering pit of misery after every shower. Alabama's normal ambient humidity does not allow for quick evaporation, so about 3 minutes into each shower, it was muggy and foggy and clean clothing brought in to dress after the shower was soggy and sticky. Having to leave the bathroom door open to convert the room from post shower sauna to bearable was annoying, and having to leave the door ajar to deal with normal biologically produced bathroom smells was just plain gross.

Absolutely beautiful experience all around. The staff has a natural ability to assist in your stay not only being relaxing, most of all you leave there with a memorable moment in time that makes a difference. When people have internal beautiful qualities it shows at the work place. They made a notable difference in mine and only went there to apply for a job.

Stay at this hotel every time we are in this area even if it is a little out of our way. Room is always clean and fresh. Food at breakfast is always above standard. The ladies go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Was able to utilize the business center and staff sent a fax for us. Conveniently located (within walking distance) near a Dairy Queen and Schlotzsky's. May even consider coming back for 1st Monday.

Not easy to locate when entering Canton on highway 19, as it is tucked in behind a Shell station and if there was a sign along the highway I totally missed it. The reception area is pleasant and the staff friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room to which we were assigned was clean, neat, and well appointed. It had a nice sized desk, a comfortable easy chair, and a very comfortable king size bed with good supportive pillows. The room lighting was great, especially for older eyes. The only real negative was the bathroom. It almost seems to have been added as an afterthought. It is quite small. The toilet is the size one might expect to find in a childcare facility or a kindergarten and it did not flush well. So small and so low to the ground that it is difficult to sit on and even more difficult to get up from. This is dangerous for the more mature. A full breakfast is provided as an additional bonus.

Stayed here one night. The room was extremely clean and well kept. The front office person that checked me in was very courteous. I didn't go to breakfast or use any of the other amenities but will be staying here again, I am sure.

I will probably be returning to Canton and I will definitely stay here if I do. I was a pain, but this hotel treated me with the very best service. From the clean rooms to a very nice complimentary breakfast I was so glad I chose to stay here instead of one of the other hotels in the vacinity.

I was told this is one of the nicest hotels in Canton. But I stay at a lot of nice hotels and I would put this one smack dab in the middle along side the Holiday Inn Express in Covington TN and the Hampton Inn in Henderson. In other words, a clean, safe, modest hotel. Nothing special, romantic, or architecturally interesting. But it did the job. Breakfast was really good, but REALLY crowded! The space was pretty small. But aside from that, if you are planning to visit First Monday Trade Days, this place is a great option. Too far to walk to the Trade Day grounds (a little over a mile) but an easy drive.

Located just off of I 20 in Canton, this Best Western is typical of the chain, the rooms were generous sized and clean. The breakfast buffet also typical with the usual offerings. During our stay, there was a significant water leak that forced the entire water system complex to be shut down for several hours. The management was informative of the situation and had the problem resolved in a few hours. We found a letter on our door informing us of the problem, however, there seemed to be more concern about making sure their performance reviews were kept high rather than concern for the guests.

I stay here when traveling on business in the Canton area, and have always been pleased. The staff is professional and friendly. Tonya greeted me and remembered me from previous stays here. If you reserve ahead, they will have your ac/heater on and room comfortable for you. Their breakfast are top notch, not just your typical heated up frozen "omelets." Kudos to Johnnie (GM) and staff.

5 stars because of the value. All employees were very kind and helpful. The room was extremely clean. The beds were comfortable, and the climate control system was very good. We really enjoyed the breakfast. There was plenty of variety, and the eggs and pan sausage were the real stuff! We didn't utilize any of the other amenities.

I made the mistake of booking a nearby hotel and moved to this one instantly. The staff is very kind and helpful. They are a bit pricey but the rooms and peace of mind that come from this atmosphere make it worth every penny. The room was beautiful, up-to-date, clean, and the beds were comfortable. I really love that the tv remote was manufactured to be easily cleaned each time the room is used. I'm not a complete germaphobe, but I appreciated this feature. I will be staying here again when I return later this year. Thanks Best Western!!

This was a good place for us to stay. The best in the area. Clean, very comfortable beds. Convenient location. The price is too high, but on Canton weekends, all the rates are too high. We will stay here again.

I would highly recommend Canton, Texas Best Western - very nice and helpful to us - thank you for your great service to us. We had issues with the internet and the front desk person came to our room to get us up and running - she was great!!! We had a very long day and were tired and she took care of us in a quick amount of time.

With small upgrades it's come a long way. Noisey parking lot, dusty tv however clean & didn't fear sleeping in the bed like some hotels I've ran across. Easy access to first Monday, soft towels, good bargain.

If some industrious company would open, say, a Springhill Suites in Canton, they'd really rake in the $$$. Which is to say, Best Western Canton is the best current option for a decent motor hotel in this little trade-days town. At $110-plus, it seemed a little pricey to me, especially because our room was noticeably musty when we walked in and the air conditioner wouldn't come on. Turns out they activate it remotely on check-in. Never heard of that in all my travels. They'd probably call it environmentally friendly; it felt a little chintzy to me. Pluses: clean and quiet, lots of eating-out choices within walking distance (go to Dairy Palace, trust me), very friendly employees, and a generous breakfast in a pleasant eating area. In my book, the place doesn't rate 4 stars -- not for $110-plus! -- and I'd give it a 3.5 if I could. But if you want to play it safe in Canton, this is the place.

Needed a pet friendly room on Thanksgiving night. They had a budget friendly, clean, well maintained facility to take care of our needs. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and professional. The breakfast items were plentiful and offered a wide variety of options. Good coffee.

The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help with any questions about the area. Answered questions and gave us information about Dallas. Very quick check in and check out. Made sure the room and breakfast was up to par. Will stay again.

Best place in Canton to stay! The management and staff were extremely friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable and it is just a short distance to Canton Trade Days. We have stayed at other hotels in canton and none of them compare to this one. When we come back to Canton this will definitely be where we will stay.

This hotel is a good choice with few to choose from. The service is excellent in an aging facility. Probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had anywhere including new hotels in big cities. Pleasant employees who strive to serve well.

I walked in without a reservation and helped promptly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was right on my route for the trip. The Flea Market crowd was starting to arrive and I had no issues with traffic or parking my truck at the hotel. Recommend place to stay.

The Best Western in Canton may be one of the cleanest hotel I have ever been to. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The internet speed isn't going to knock your socks off, but it was fast enough for normal browsing. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet during the late night hours. I recommend staying here without hesitation.

Beds were VERY comfortable! The room was clean, comfortable pillows, we had hot water and heat/air so I was happy. Not the Ritz but served its purpose and friendly staff!! We were in town for a wedding and several of us stayed here.

The Best Western is the best hotel in Canton. We stay at this hotel every year for our annual sporting event. We have always enjoyed the great breakfast served. We especially appreciate the friendly caring staff.

This hotel met my expectations as far as a Best Western is concerned. The main issue was that our beds were lumpy, bumpy, and down right uncomfortable. We woke up each day with super stiff backs. The breakfast is mediocre. The staff is friendly and professional. The area is clean and it serves it's purpose being right off highway 20. Overall I have a hard time being too negative, however, I had to mention the issue with the beds.

Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast offered was ok but I did go extremely early and feel I probably didn't allow enough time for everything to be put out. My front desk encounter was great checking in by the genuine convo and smiling face lady

I stay here once a year and love their large rooms and how accommodating they are. Beds are great. and the breakfast is decent. The staff is friendly and the rooms are always really clean both when we arrive and each day we are there.

Was travelling from Dallas TX to Orlando FL and came across this property as the night was wearing on me. Upon arrival, the front desk person was exceptionally pleasant, which was welcome from hours of driving all day. Got into the room and it was spotless and the sheets tightly fitted and it smelled fresh. Being tired I went almost straight to bed and awoke to wonderful hot water for a shave and shower, ...that felt real good. The breakfast area was very well maintained and there wasn't a person who wasn't cordial from the front desk to housekeeping to the breakfast attendant. Very nice....very nice indeed.

I have stayed at the Best Western Canton Inn three times in the past few months. The rooms are always clean. The staff is very friendly. They have a decent sized semi-truck/Rv parking lot just to the east of the hotel. Also lots of places to eat, including the world famous Dairy Palace. One suggestion. If you are passing through the last weekend of the month book your rooms early as they sell out. They have a giant flea market down the road and people travel from all over for it.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 10 years. Sometimes with my girlfriends shopping and sometimes with my husband. The staff is professional but so caring to make sure all your needs are met. Checking in and out is easy and fast. The outside appearance (and lighting at night) is beautiful. The rooms are spotless. I'm very picky and over a10 year period have never been disappointed. The air is as cold as you'd like and the beds are very comfortable. I/we would stay nowhere else!

What a nice surprise. Great place to stay! So clean and comfortable. Tanya our night check in person was so friendly and accommodating, as well as, Terry our check out person. Room was on second floor and very quiet. Beds comfortable and room very clean. Cleaning staff left nice welcome notes in our room. Best breakfast we've had at a hotel in a long time. Again very clean and well stocked with lots of choices. Kitchen crew was so friendly and helpful stopping by to ask if we needed anything. Everyone on staff we came across was friendly, cheerful and kind. They all seemed to enjoy their work. Would highly recommend this hotel!!!

Everyone is always so friendly here,from the desk staff to the dining room. Even the maintenance man was friendly. The rooms & grounds are immaculate. Very accomadating. We travel with our 2 dogs who are always welcomed here. Breakfast in very nice, real food.

I have spent weeks here while working. Everyone is polite. Standard breakfast. Clean rooms. Good parking. And here is more crap for trip advisor. They make it really hard to just say something nice about a place. So, I give trip advisor a 3. Not very good.

Great place to stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was a great place to stay on our way home from vacation. When we checked into the hotel the lady at the counter was very pleasant. She went above and beyond to help us make our stay a good one. We would definetly stay at this hotel again.

They have the friendliest workers and are so courteous. Clean rooms and are set up for handicap if requested. They have a morning breakfast. Easy check in and check out. Take care of any issues right away.

I was extremely pleased with this hotel! I was SO impressed with the cleanliness of the room. It was truly spotless and in very good shape. It looked almost new! The staff at check in and when I went to the desk to get a toothbrush, were extremely nice, and helpful. I have already recommended the hotel to others. Overall, it was a very good experience!!!

Check in was smooth. I had asked for a second floor room and we did get it. Room was clean and nicely updated although the size is pretty small. We had a king room and it just seemed smaller than most hotel rooms we have stayed in. The bed was nice and comfy and the water gets extremely hot. No worries about not having enough hot water. The only thing I would change about the room is I would add some Velcro or snaps to the wall and curtains to be able to block out the light better from outside at night. I guess I am not used to staying in places with the doors to the outside and it was just weird seeing the shadows of people walking by as you are laying in your bed. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We were in town for Canton First Monday trade days. If we ever come back we will stay here again.

First room the lock on the door didn't work so we have to gather everything up and room to another room. We were told that the maintenance man was only one who could which the lock and he not reachable for the next 2 days. They need a new maintenance man!

The person at the front desk was very friendly. The room had a hand written personal note from Jackie and Natasha for us to have a safe and blessed stay, which we found thoughtful and that they care about their patrons. The room was very clean. In the morning, the cleaning ladies, desk lady and the breakfast room attendant greeted us with a sincere smile and warm greetings. They were very conscientious, a happy team, thoughtful, sincere and proud about their job. This is the best hotel to stay in Canton.

I am a germ person so very picky where I stay, when we got there friendly staff quick check in time. Got to room very very clean I checked bathroom out clean enough for me to shower in all white no brown stains which I hate beds comfy an clean floors where clean enough for me to walk bare foot. Pool clean an love the splash pad an the breakfast in the mornings where great friendly people kept it up. Will be staying there next year when we come to the ETCM. We stayed here 4 nights while participating in the Lone Star Santas' Convoy of Toys. We visited 2 area school districts bring toys, and share "love, hope, and joy" to children who were affected by tornadoes that struck the Canton area the end of April. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. Although our room seemed a little smaller than other hotel rooms, it was clean. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows need to be replaced. Google GPS wasn't good at finding the BW as it sat waaay back off the frontage road behind Schlotsky's and the Dairy Queen.

Please see the comments I have made in the prior paragraph. The moment I found out about my unsanitary conditions I contacted the front desk. Left late and kindly they were able to allow me to change rooms. The clerk at the front desk said that there would be some compensation and I really didn't pay attention to it. When I found out it was $12 I was insulted. And if that is what the offer truly is, then I will be happy to give it back to you. I expect far better customer service with a chain like yours.

We stayed here for 4 nights. All of the check-in staff were superb. Amazing even. Its the housekeeping that is sub par. Our first morning we were out of the room by 10 am. Housekeeping had just finished cleaning the room next door and watched us leave. They never cleaned the room, took out trash, made the bed or brought new towels. The second morning i ran into a different housekeeping crew. I told the lady (she was American) that the room didnt need cleaned "we just need new towels and stuff". That was exactly what they did. They gave us towels and left the room as is (bed not made, trans not taken out, etc.). I blamed that on myself because my statement could have been taken any number of ways and the lady obviously did exactly what i asked. No less, no more. The 3rd morning we were out the door for the day by 9 am. We came back around 830 pm. No clean towels, trash not talen out, bed not made. It was just my husband and i staying there and we arent messy people, but to not take trash out for 3 days is ridiculous. And making the bed each day should be bare minimum for them. And asking for towels shouldnt be necessary. Tanya at the front desk is just about as personable as anyone could possibly be. She is a very sweet lady. And so was the blonde on the 3rd morning of our stay when i needed to extend our room for an extra night. The hotel rooms are nice and clean when you go in. But dont expect to have cleaning staff clean the room each day or bring you towels unless you ask.

Not an overnight guest, but stopped in to charge my electric car on a road trip. Tonya and Susanna were both very helpful, kind, and accommodating. They graciously allowed me to plug in and enjoy the lobby area and wifi while I waited for my car to charge up, offering friendly conversation and making me feel welcome even though I wasn't actually staying at the hotel. Thank you, ladies, for embodying the true spirit of hospitality!

While not the newest hotel on the block it has good amenities and a great staff. The pool is a nice addition and will be enjoyed by both adults and young one. If you're in the area and need a hotel you should check this one out

I have stayed in other hotels in Canton Tx and this one far exceeds the others. Walls are somewhat thin but did not bother sleep as beds were very comfy. Breakfast was great and all staff was super friendly.

Happy with the trip, service, location would stay there again. Would recommend to travelers coming for Monday trade days. Many businesses in walking distance of motel. Staff was friendly and help full.

The cleanest rooms and friendliest staff I have ever run into in all my travels. I will go out of my way to stay there. The hotel was a little hard to find because Best Western has changed their logo and I was not aware of that and I initially drove right past it. coming from the East it is on the other side of the highway and the entrance is not well marked. coming from the West the entrance is right off the service road. It is back a ways and this reduces the highway noise.

Our check in was smooth and very friendly lady. When we got to our room it was extremely dirty. Especially the restroom . The shower curtain had mold all along the bottom as well as down the side of the tub and on the floor

Stayed for Trade Days April 28th - 30th. At check in, the staff was very friendly and helpful - info, made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we knew to let them know if there was anything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. Although advertised as continental, breakfast was hot and very good. Saturday the weather turned angry and tornados tore through the little town. As we gathered in the safest part of the hotel, the staff remained calm and lighthearted. When the electricity failed, a staff person relayed information she received from her husband. In the morning, the electricity was still out but we found coffee and a hot breakfast staff had gone out and brought back. Wonderful people. Will never stay anywhere else.

Clean hotel, nice staff, easy parking and a full breakfast bar. Very nice location, close to the trade days complex and away from freeway noise. Do not trust internet prices. We received a cheaper rate by calling the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel on April 28 th, 29 th, and 30 th for Canton Trade Days. Great hotel and room and the staff was great! Good breakfast also. The staff treated you like family. The staff had a list of local places to eat which we tried and once again it was great. Then the tornadoes hit and entire town damaged and loss of power but the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a dinner on Saturday night and breakfast Sunday morning. We were truly blessed with this hotel and staff. You are our new home in Canton. May God Bless you and keep you safe during the recovery. Thank You!

We visited this hotel when we went to Canton Trade days. The hotel was very clean, had a great breakfast, and an amazing staff. Saturday evening at 5 tornadoes were touching down all around us and the entire town lost electricity. I was amazed that even though the weather was horrible the staff drove to another town, loaded up with food, and brought it back to the hotel for all of the guests to eat. Although we didn't have electricity all night. They had a hot meal waiting for guests the next morning. This is small town hospitality! I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone! Best Western these employees receive a bonus!

Stayed here two nights while attending Canton First Monday. Excellent location for this. Food was also EXCELLENT. Service was first class. There was some noticeable noise, may have been from kitchen area, not sure.

Stayed here a few times during the First Monday Trade Days. It has been renovated fairly recently and is in excellent condition. The parking lot could use some work. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Location is great if you are attending the Trade Days. Reservations should be made well in advance for Trade Days weekends.

Very clean, comfortable, and great breakfast. Very happy with this choice as we just pulled in from driving all day looking for a place to rest. As we walked in the lobby area was clean and the staff behind the desk were very friendly. I would stay here again no problem.

This was a reasonably priced and clean hotel located just off the Interstate. Had a nice breakfast and the staff were very friendly. Bed was comfortable and met my expectations in every way. Only problem I had was a noisy A/C unit, but not that big of a deal.

We were looking forward to watching our favorite TV program after checking in only to find the picture on the television in our room is so dark it almost un viewable. Unable to find a brightness adjustment, I called the front desk for help. Tonya stated that the sets do not have a brightness adjustment "Believe me, I have tried to fix the picture on TV's in almost all of the rooms". My disappointment, bordering on anger, is the hotel knowingly rents rooms with defective television sets with no disclaimer of any kind (yes we would have gone somewhere else) and chooses not to replace the bad sets because "they are only about one year old". Additionally our room has a very unpleasant odor although it appears clean.

I stayed here with my dog for a local dog show. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very close to the Canton dog show that happens every October. Even though there were lots of dogs there, the rooms were quiet and I was bothered by barking.

They renovated this property a couple of years ago and it is more modern, cleaner and more up to date. Great location for First Monday. It is a bit more expensive than other properties there but we have tried them all and it was worth the added expense. This is now our go to place when we are home visiting family. new breakfast room is really nice and has a good selection of food, parking is abundant.

I have stayed at many hotels in "small town Texas" This is by far one of the best. The customer service is Excellent, they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. And the new amenities make it even better! The breakfast was to die for! I will be back!

Stayed at this hotel to attend first weekend - extremely nice staff. Very customer focused. We had multiple rooms booked and after a call to the hotel they arranged to give us rooms next to each other. Good breakfast - kept it stocked even though there was a morning rush.

This was a very nice facility to stay while going to First Monday Trade days! The entire staff were very hospitable and we loved the hand written notes from housekeeping! The free breakfast was an added bonus as well as close proximity to the Canton trade day area. We definitely will plan our future visits at this motel.

This is the nicest hotel in Canton. The rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. The bed was great and I had an excellent nights rest. Check in was easy and fast which was nice because I had 6 rooms total.

My family has been staying at Canton Inn since the mid 1980's. We have always had excellent service and a clean room. The hotel has recently gone through a complete update and it is beautiful. The breakfast room has everything you could possibly want to eat. The motel is just minutes from Trade Days, Paul Michael's and many fabulous places to eat.

The Best Western changed their logo, so we passed right by it! The rooms are alright, nothing spectacular but alright for just one night. The people at the front desk were nice. Rooms are very clean. Toilet was runny. Convenient location. I might try somewhere else next time for the same price.

Very comfortable...had a nice stay. The receptionist Tonya was very sweet and courteous. The rooms were a nice size and clean. Needed a couple of extra pillow and Tonya attended to us right away. Would definitely stay here again, given the opportunity.

Very pleasant interaction with the Front Desk when making the reservations and that continued on through our entire stay. We had ground floor king rooms, they were clean, comfortable although a little 'musty' smelling upon entering. That cleared quickly though. All of the staff that we saw were friendly, courteous. We enjoyed a full breakfast the next morning that was good. We did not have any coffee packets in our room but the breakfast room opened at 6 so was able to get it there. Encountered no issues. Very pleasant 1 night stay.

The room was comfortable. Toilet was broken but we didn't find out until around midnight and didn't feel like trying to move to another room. We made it work. We had a gift card to use for payment and we were not allowed to use it.

The room was clean and updated in decor, but the layout of the hotel (room doors are outside) and the smell of the room make it feel like it has been around for a while. The room didn't stink, but didn't smell fresh. The breakfast options were very nice, and the service was excellent.

We were visiting the area for a family reunion. This hotel was on the freeway with easy access and close to the little town we needed to go to. The rooms were clean, the a/c worked perfectly (we were there in July - VERY humid!), no shortage of hot water, and the internet worked. Couldn't ask for more. Perfect for what we needed!

If you are looking for a CLEAN, family friendly place to stay look no further. Super friendly staff and close to almost anything you could possibly need. The front desk has a listing of local restaurants to try that I found very helpful. The breakfast is out of this world.

The rooms were very, very clean! The staff was so helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The eggs were real, no powder. The bacon was nice and crispy and the sausage very good. The biscuits were homemade daily with white gray. There was cereal, fruit and yogurt available. If you leave from breakfast hungry it is your own fault. The pool was nice and clean and they have a water sprinkler by the pool the kids can play in. I will go back many times. This was a great place to stay and affordable. I have stayed in another hotel across from here and it is not as nice and the breakfast was not very warm. Staff not as friendly and things were not as clean.

I have to say i have stayed at several best westerns but this one by far has the best breakfast i have ever had My husband and I had homemade biscuits and cream style gravy was soooooo good, we went back for seconds...eggs were fresh and the coffee is to die for...they have everything. most important was the bedding I felt like I was sleeping in my own bed...Sheets great count and pillows were so soft we felt like we were at home....Thanks for a great stay and especially the staff they were wonderful and friendly. I recommend and we will definitely be back......

Great hotel with many restaurants close. We finished the races at 2:00 AM and there was a restaurant right around te corner. The only issue was that their breakfast was over at 10:00 AM and we did not get back to the hotel till 2:00 AM

Hotel is set back from the main street and not easy to find entrance so I missed it and had to double back. However, it is centrally located and is not far from all the action at the trader days market. My room appeared to be situated over the breakfast area and noise level made sleeping late near to impossible. The small breakfast area was very crowded;I had to take my food back to my room since there was no place to sit and eat. Breakfast choices had a variety of foods to choose from and those I tried were delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

Stayed here for the 2nd time this year. Nice hotel, clean, with friendly staff. Breakfast room is small and was busy, worried we would not have a table, but some one got up just in time. Trade days busy time, and breakfast items re-filled and kept tidy.

We prefer staying at Best Western hotels because of the comfort of the beds. This is a fairly new hotel so everything was clean and fresh, instead of old and rundown. The only objection I have is the one very small bottle of conditioning shampoo and no shower gel, just bar soap. I feel they need to update that and the coffee that was provided was terrible tasting.

Just stopped in on my way east and I was very pleased with the room, the warm friendly service, hospitality and the great breakfast. I'm actually staying again on my way back west. My grandson enjoyed the waffles and ate two servings of breakfast!

I don't recommend this hotel they were really rude they kick us out of the room just for there housekeeping to clean and finish early .Also wanted to charge extra for 10min after 11am really bad customer services they need to be more polite and have extra people to do cleaning after 12pm. People sometimes work until late and with housekeeping knocking every 20min is exhausted. Need to have better services.I Will not stay at this hotel again

We stayed one night for a girl's trip to experience First Monday Trade Days in Canton. The convenience of the location to the hotel to the Trade Days, along with places to eat, any last minute items at Wal-Mart, etc are maybe 10 min from the hotel. I'm not a great sleeper but was pleased at the comfort of the bed. The hotel is very small in some places like checking in and the breakfast room, but it's still functional. The rooms and bathroom are a great size so it was nice not feeling crammed with 3 other girls in the room. The pool area/splash pad was great to relax by after we finished shopping. For as much traffic Canton gets with the Trade Days, I'm surprised there's not more hotels here to choose from, but I'm relieved and grateful that we had a good experience here and know where to stay when we come back.

Since there is no way to see everything at First Monday Trade Days in one day, we decided to spend the night this month. This hotel is absolutely top notch. Friendliest, most helpful staff I've ever encountered, and I've stayed in my share of hotels and motels in all ranges. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, the entire facility if very clean, and the swimming pool even has a splash pad that my grandchildren loved.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Employees were kind and helpful. Location was just minutes from first monday trade days. Easy access to everything we needed. Quiet rooms. Had a great time. Would go there again. Booked ahead of time via Internet and had no troubles and it was quick and easy.

We were so pleased with everything about this hotel. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. There was ample parking and pet walking areas. The beds were so comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. Way to go Best Western!

It was a good nights rest in my travels. I thought the price was too much for the area. The room was very clean and the layout was efficient. The location of a restaurant was good But there were no delivery in the area.

Comfortable, clean, price mid range, awesome staff. Highly recommend this hotel. We were traveling in two separate vehicles towing a 35 foot toy hauler and a 12 ft trailer, it was so difficult to find a hotel with adequate parking for such a large load, so thankful for this accommodation also it was such a blessing to find all this in one hotel. thank you. We will be staying there on our return trip.

This motel is located just off I-20 but we could not detect any highway noise issues. Upkeep is excellent and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. There is a small pool area and a splash fountain play area for kids. Breakfast is adequate and included as is wifi. This is probably the best lodging in Canton which does not offer anything more than motels. We will stay there again when visiting family.

Nice and clean very good breakfast. We stay at all the best westerns but this one gig us on prices a king was $179.00 +taxes and a double queen $202.00+taxes during their once a month Canton Flea Market Days!!! They should of served us breakfast in bed and gave us vouchers for a free night for that price. Also no washer and dryer. No hot tub and the pool is outside.

There are a couple of requisites I have when staying at a hotel/motel.... 1) things that are suppose to work, should work (keys to your room, etc) 2) the bathroom shouldn't smell 3) if you say you have wifi---it should work. 4) electricity---you should have some. 5) relative quiet in the wee hours, especially from staff. 6) the ability to have privacy should I need it. Guess what was missing from my stay at the Best Western---which is supposedly, the best place to stay in town? All of the above. Now, staff can be as nice and friendly and sweet as can be (may it be noted that ANYONE I came in contact with, was incredibly kind)---but I'm not staying at their house, am I? I'm staying at the hotel. So when I leave your sweet, kind self---everything needs to work and work well. So, when I parked my car, grabbed all my gear (working trip), with full hands, head to my room---and the key doesn't work. I'm annoyed. Not a little annoyed, a lot annoyed. My full hands walk back to the lobby where they have to reactivity my card. (Sweet as pie lady working the desk) Get into my room, AC isn't on, so I switch it on, bc that should help the musty smell in the room that I think stems from the bathroom. Upside: there's a decent size fridge in the room. Which I definitely use. I sit down on the bed to connect to the wifi. Guess what's not working? The wifi. How'd you guess? I call the front desk---no, actually ma'am, I don't want to bring my laptop to the lobby so you can trouble shoot it. Would have been great if someone could have popped by my room though. (Once again, sweet as pie lady on the phone) The real fun began this morning. I'm here on business. I have a curling iron with me, electronics that need charging...you know, normal stuff. 6:50 in the morning, after the rain has stopped---electricity goes off. We're about 5 minutes shy of 7:50 right now---and the electricity still hasn't come on. Guess what that means? No electricity in a very dark bathroom, no lights to help me put on make up, no way to heat up my curling iron, so I look ridiculous after sleeping 8 hours on a hotel bed with bed hair. And most importantly---no AC!! Yay for not being able to be "fresh" when you're going into meetings. Doesn't this sound like a fun adventure?? THIS SHOULD NOT BE AN ADVENTURE. I am not camping. This is not the woods. I don't have a sleeping bag on me. I haven't gone in search for firewood!! So, around 7am staff starts pacing back and forth in front of my door bc right next to it are employee only closets. No lights are coming on but there's at least 3 or 4 staff members pacing back and forth and chatting their little hearts out. And I have to open the blackout curtains to allow some semblance of light in to get ready. So while these men walk back and forth, I'm having to get dressed with that sheer curtain lining as my only privacy. How fun is that? If all these things hadn't happened, I still would have given this spot a 3 star rating just on purely quality of accommodations. But all these things did happen, and I'm leaving rather unimpressed. And honestly, to not have a spot of electricity while having to get ready in the morning...I need a 50% refund. Bc I might as well have slept in my car---and occasionally been able to turn on the AC. (Oh----and about 12 times or so, sparks of electricity would come into the room causing clicking noises and the lights to flash on and off....so fun!) But kudos to a very sweet staff.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the rooms very comfortable and clean! They have a great breakfast, I was happily surprised that they served a full real breakfast and I loved the fact they used real eggs and bacon! It was a little more expensive then other hotels in town but believe me you get what you pay for, I stayed at other hotels in town and will be staying here from now on! Rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff was very nice!

The room was so clean. The desk clerks were so friendly and checked us in so fast. The breakfast was good. Best waffles ever. The internet was fast and easy to connect. The keys to the room made it easy to open door while carrying in suitcase.

I was very dissatisfied in the price of the room which was only 1 bed Too much for the appearance of the room. The door had a half a inch crack at least, the shower if you are short good luck with getting wet , its so high and will not adjust its height. This is the first time i have been dissatisfied in Best western stay.

The GM and staff were very helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was better than I have at home. The best reason to stay here is the staff and a good nights rest. We will be staying here on our way to Louisiana and East Texas from now on. The access to the hotel is good as well as the location of all the restaurant nearby. Great place for the family.

I needed to rest to keep driving. My Grandmother had some good rest. Beds and pillows awesome. We missed breakfast you should extended one more hour like other Hotel, but other that that good hotel. Great Hotel I recommend this to anyone.

The best staff I ever dealt with, from the reservation to the check in. Great room and location. When I called to make the reservation I had a couple of needs that needed to be met, and the lady who took my information down was over the top great. She met all my needs and beyond. I wish ever motel had someone half her skills.

The overall stay was average. The location was good for the area. The biggest complaint they began cleaning our room before we checked out. They apologized for the inconvenience but I felt they could have done more.

Best beds ever! Very clean, Free breakfast, free internet, close to Canton shopping, great staff!! We went on a girl's weekend to Canton and although the hotel is a little pricy (I'm used to 5 star hotels on the river walk for this rate), but after all, it was Trade Days Weekend and they will get that price hands down. We paid it gladly and had a blast on our trip! Definitely going to use this hotel again!

This was by far the cleanest and friendliest hotel I have stayed in years. Not quite walking distance to Trade Days Main Grounds. But walking distance to eating places. Location is great. Easy access both directions on the service road to get places. Very nice, clean and quiet.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Could have used more shampoo, more towels/washcloths. Conveniently located to the First Monday Trade Days grounds. Cost was too high but all of the other properties are just as expensive on First Monday weekends.

We had a nice two nights in this hotel. Staff was very accommodating and the room attractive. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and the décor. It seemed a bit pricey but we were there for a special occasion weekend. We did not have breakfast but again the staff was very nice when I went down in search of tea bags.

The hotel was nice, clean, with friendly and efficient staff. The beds were comfy. Bathroom could have been cleaner but acceptable. Older hotel but located exactly where we needed it.....near the flee market. Would stay here again.

Had a great experience, staff were great, room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was a little noisy with construction workers leaving early in the morning, but other than that the overall experience was very nice.

My husband and I stayed here while shopping at Trade Days. It was a great hotel, and I definitely recommend it. I was concerned that it would be too loud, considering the door to the room goes directly outside, but it was actually very quiet. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast had a nice variety, including cereal, bagels, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, sausage, oatmeal, and hot eggs, among others. It's a short driving distance to Trade Days. Additionally, there was a gravel lot available with enough room to park truck and trailers.

We recently stayed at the Best Western in Canton. This was a great place to stay.The rooms were large and,very clean. The staff were helpful about recommendations for local restaurants. The room included breakfast. Be sure to book ahead for the trade days.

The hotel is situated within one mile of the Trade day show. Very clean quiet and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast has a variety of items both cold and hot, with the hot items freshly made. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is perfect for that quick stay to Canton to do the fleamarket. It is close and includes breakfast. When I go back for Trade Days I will stay here again. The position of our room was right by the stairs though so was a little noisy at times and there was the light from outside that was shinning in our room even with curtains closed. But it served its purpose and we will stay here again when we come back.

This is everything that you want from a small town hotel. Convenient, clean, friendly, comfortable, and economical. If I am in that area again, I will go back to that hotel. This was in Canton, TX, a fun place to visit. And you could definitely enjoy more than one night. Nice restaurants and things to see and buy.

My wife and I were passing through on our way out west and decided to stop here for the night. Since we had our two dogs with us we thought this would be a good place since Best Western is a pet friendly place to stay. The staff were great from the time we arrived until we left. The room was comfortable and clean. It was nice to have a room with microwave and fridge too. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. There is also a large are to take your pets outside, though I couldn't find an dog waste container or bag dispenser so I had to use my own. Either way, it was a good stay, and we would recommend this property to any passing through.

We never got to stay here, but the staff was wonderfully helpful both when I made the reservation and then had to cancel. And they were going to take our 4 dogs for only $5 each. Good price and definitely pet friendly.

Best Western is the best location and easiest access to the grounds for First Monday each month!! Why stay anywhere else!?!?!? They have recently remodeled their lobby and breakfast area. The breakfast area is 4 times the size it was and they are cooking for us now! Breakfast items change so you don't get bored with the same things.

Very basic but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage as well as cereal, bagels, muffins, etc. I had a very delicious cinnamon roll. This was my second visit to trade days, last year we stayed on the Mountain in a facility that did not have centralized heat so I was very happy to be in a motel with modern conveniences. Prices were a little higher than what we have payed in the past but it was worth it. I would definitely recommend this motel to a friend.

I did not plan on coming here. I was hoping to stay with family in Rhome, TX but it just didn't work out. The hotel was nice. Nothing to write home about. The breakfast was outstanding. I don't know what kind of bacon they use but I had to take a few pieces with me on the road - best I ever had. Great coffee too! I was a little nervous because they put me in the back of the hotel but it ended up being okay. Still, tho, I didn't get much sleep.

My husband and son looking for a place to stay after the Cowboys game. Worked just fine for them. Here is what they told me: that I might have wanted a little more updated bathroom and bedding. But the breakfast was amazing! Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Our compliments to the cook!! Friendly front desk personnel too!

The shower curtain had blood stains. Pillows were nasty and extremely uncomfortable. Glad I brought Lysol disinfectant spray and clorox wipes. The price of the room was increased due to Trade Days. I will be inquiring about some cabins I had seen while driving around.

Best Western Canton is a beautiful hotel with a pool and dining area and attractive main entrance. It is very expensive, but we wanted to stay in Canton and so chose to stay there...The breakfast wasn't fancy but was atiquate. there was little variety and frankly we got tired of the scrambled eggs and sausages everyday....Bisquits and gravy would have been a nice alternative... the kitchen asisstants were helpful.

I absolutely love this hotel. Everyone is very professional and kind. The only issue we had was our remote stopped working and we had to go get another one and the WIFI didn't seem to be strong enough. Kept cutting on and off

WOW, this place is much nicer than we expected! Everything looks new, is super clean and it was quiet. We liked the big (bacon, eggs, potatoes, waffles, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, etc) breakfast they offered to get us ready for a full day of shopping just minutes from the Original Grounds. They also offer free wifi.

We came into the East Texas area for a family reunion in Grand Saline, Texas. We had a great experience at the Best Western Canton Inn, and would recommend it to everyone. The hotel is located right beside Interstate 20, so it is very convenient. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

WE like staying in Texas because everyone is very friendly and considerate. I have traveled to many states and I find Texans happy, helpful and very accommodating from conversation to driving ethics. I feel safer when I travel in this major city compared to others such as Florida, Atlanta East coast etc..

Pleasant visit. Comfortable bed and easy chair. Breakfast was delicious and included make it yourself waffles, real scrambled eggs, choice of juices and coffee. Tables were kept clean and ready for next patrons.

We've stayed at this Best Western the same time each year for the past three years and although it's been okay in the past, it's definitely improved this year. They've remodeled since last year, and the "look" is more pleasing. They've added an elevator, which is a big improvement for those wrestling with luggage, etc. up the stairs. The size of the "breakfast" area is a little larger (have juggled coffee and breakfast on our laps on the couch lobby in the past). The staff is much friendlier than the past. We did have some issues our last day, in that the air conditioner stopped working and the toilet wouldn't flush, but overall, we really didn't have any problems until then. I will stay there again next year; same time, as it beats the alternatives there in Canton.

It was a great place to stay while shopping First Monday in Canon! Very clean, recently remodeled and the hot breakfast was awesome! Wifi worked great and was used quite a bit in the evenings to conduct business.

The hotel was just a mile or so from the Canton First Monday Market. It was clean, staff was courteous, and they allow pets for a $25 fee. The room had a hair dryer, ironing board, iron, a microwave and pretty large refrigerator. There is a pool with splash pad open until 10pm. Breakfast options included just about anything you could imagine and is included with your stay.
