Not the best western you would expect. Outdated small rooms . Bathroom wasn't really clean . Didn't feel comfortable to take a shower. I'm staying in lot of hotels and I always look for the best hotels in the area. But this one in Bloomington is not a nice place. The front desk and breakfast area was very nice and clean. The people were friendly.
The only drawbacks of this hotel was that the heater was kind of noisy & the room was a bit small. My husband couldn't maneuver around me by stepping aside. He had to completely walk to a different spot so I could get past him. Couldn't just scoot next to him. Area was a little tight.
Room was way to expensive for the quality of room we stayed in. Heat and air unit was loud (something loose and rattling in the fan). Water pressure was low. Parts of the room reminded us of the 1980's. King Bed was very comfortable, hide-a-bed was not. The staff were excellent.
I love that they had free EV charging so we could get away from home with out needing to take time to charge. The room was nice. I will say the bed was pretty stiff and I'm typically a guy who likes more support from a bed, but still an enjoyable room with fast internet.
Room OK, needed a bathroom fan. Needed hot water 24/7 not just hit and miss. If you want a micowave you need to tell them. Ask about the breaskfas meals, menu board do not match. This location needs better lights in the back parking lot.
We usually never write reviews for three star hotels, but this one is exceptional. Stayed 2 nights to visit family and were impressed with the friendly, midwestern attitude of the workers and staff. Rooms and bath amenities were top notch, hot breakfast was very well presented and we appreciated it that the breakfast was available before stated time as we had an early flight departure. Many, many restaurants within walking distance and small mall next door. We'll be staying here again when we come back!
We stayed there for a football weekend at Illinois State University. The hotel had comfortable beds and good room amenities. The breakfast was good. The service was nice. The location was good with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby.
My room had blood and hair on the sheets. I did get a discount and new room but that is CRAZY!! Always check at least the bed you are sleeping on. Staff was friendly but room service should definitely be thoroughly observed before settling in.
Very nice hotel for one night on the road. Good breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable bed, cold AC, hot shower. Highly recommend. And the location is good—near shopping and restaurants. We will stay here by time we drive through.
Nice room and breakfast. Comfortable bed. Extensive floorplan so could involve walking. Rooms were quiet. Internet worked and ice machine were on our floor. Nice looking outdoor pool. No specific help up staff but no problems
This Best Western was very nice...it looked practically new. The bed was very comfortable, and it had the quietest air conditioner of any place we have stayed at. Very clean, too. The breakfast with the very fluffy eggs and bacon was yummy. Would definitely stay here again.
Clean. Smelled fresh too. Breakfast had much variety. Parking was convenient. Breakfast was hot and ready at 6. Plenty to eat till 9. Staff was helpful throughout the entire stay. Conveniently located near several stores and restaurants. Pool was adequate.
Great room and very quiet which was surprising given the number of athletes attending camps that weekend. The bed was great! There was little left for breakfast after the wrestlers left but the staff tried to keep it stocked.
We booked this hotel for our boys for a basketball tournament for the weekend. One of the workers brought someone out to the pool to engage in a fight with someone who was staying at the hotel. We tried to get them to stop. They would not which caused all of our kids to get scared and not want to swim. No one called the cops or did anything when I went down to the desk to get someone to handle the situation except for asked the people fighting to leave. I couldn't believe one of their workers brought that kind of trouble to her place of employment. On top of that had her kid their swimming during this as well. We won't be back.
Excellent value for the money. Clean room, clean bathroom. Breakfast was good, fresh eggs or biscuits & gravy. A meat choice (sausage or bacon) would have been a plus. Location waseasy to get to from highway, and with numerous restaurant choices within a decent distance.
I stayed overnight due to winter storm. The staff at desk was helpful and offered suggestion to eat. I quickly ran and grabbed a bite to eat. Upon return the staff was outside shovel and salting so guest wouldn't slip. Room was clean and very comfortable
This was our 40th night on a road trip. Hotel food gets VERY boring. What stood out about this one was there were so many healthy choices. Fresh oatmeal, fresh yogurt, two healthy cereals, fresh fruit and more. Not to mention two choices of meat. The hotel was very clean, and we had a quiet night, no road noise. We rarely give a hotel 5 stars. This one deserved it !!!
Just stayed one night. It was fine. We didn't have a microwave which was unfortunate, but I'm sure I probably reserved a room without one. It was clean and quiet. It was close to many different restaurants and shopping experiences.
Very comfortable place to stay. Helpful staff. Room was clean and supplied with essentials. Breakfast had a lot of selections and coffee was fresh. it was very quiet until the trash pickup made a loud noise at 4:00 am.
Good stay, comfortable room, great bed ! Fantastic breakfast "bacon, sausage, eggs, and real oatmeal. The building is kinda Quirky as the floor from front to back of building is not even. One walks up a small incline, then some rooms, then down an incline ???
We arrived around 9 PM and the young gentleman at the desk checked us in quickly. We got to our room and found several problems. The toilet would barely flush and we assumed that it was clogged. We contacted the front desk and only the young clerk was working and I think he was overwhelmed . There was nobody else to help him and he promised to help. We finally got it to flush if you constantly held the handle down and even then it was slow. The internet didn't work and the front desk said he called tech support. It finally started working 30 minutes before we checked out the next day. Some of the towels in the bathroom had black streaks on them . The smoke detector in our room had blue tape all over it. Outside of the hotel by the pool, there is a door marked electrical room that wasn't even closed or locked. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable so that was a plus. The next morning at breakfast, many of the food items were empty. The lady who was working opened up the warmers and saw they were empty and did not fill them. I realize that it was 30 minutes before they closed down the food area but there were still around 20-25 people down there including some sports teams and there was barely anything to eat. The lady working at the front desk this morning was very nice as well. If I'm in the area again, I will stay somewhere else.
I'm giving this 4 stars up from probably a 2 or 3 because the staff was so good and accommodating. I had some fairly significant problems with my room that resulted in an embarrassed desk clerk who moved us to another room across the hall. I'm not going to post the pictures of what we experienced because I don't want to lead people to believe that what I experienced was the rule rather than the exception. Unfortunately my second room had other problems that we talked to the clerk about when we checked out. She was nice enough to work out a room rate adjustment, despite telling her that I wasn't looking for anything compensatory. What I will say though is the rooms are modern looking, nice televisions, comfortable bed. The humidity was out of hand though in the rooms. This is mainly due to a lack of ventilation in the bathroom. After taking a shower at night, the entire room was damp, all night long. The AC was either freezing or you were hot due to the humidity. I woke up cold and everything felt damp from the humidity. The breakfast was about what you would expect for this price range. I'm all, I would give this hotel one more stay to see if the experience was any different. The management and workers are the reason I'd give it another shot.
If it moved it came apart. Handles, switches etc. Bed was hard. Internet non existent. Hot water cut off. Didn't offer a discount despite all of this so definitely be more vocal than I was. I will seek other accommodations next time.
It was all good! Comfortable beds, clean rooms, very courteous staff, great lobby area to gather. We were a group of 6 in Bloomington for an anniversary event and to meet with each other after many, many years. We were able to get a good rate and this was a great location for the anniversary venue.
This was an outstanding hotel and the service was exceptional. The rooms were very clean and well-kept. You also are nearby many exceptional restaurants for food. The location of the hotel was excellent for our trip.
Hotel was nice, rooms really tight, we booked a queen double and you could hardly get by bed and TV stand without having to turn side ways , no fans or hair dryer in bathroom which both such be a must.Overall good experinece
Stayed here while in town for my daughter to go to orientation at Illinois Wesleyan University. The location was very convenient. The hotel is ok…nothing to get excited about. It served our needs. For future visits, I will explore other options.
We had a very good experience during our stay. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was good and had variety, not just carb loaded options. The pool was inviting. Hotel is close to everything you may need. Lots of stores, food options and coffee places.
First off, everything looked good but with more time..issues noted. It is located next to a housing development with a fence separating, but has a sketchy feel. We literally saw a big ol Cadillac drive in, drop their kids off at the hotel pool and drive off!!! The desk clerk was nice, but was clearly overwhelmed. When we got there, we had to wait for check in as a sign on the desk read to wait as she was off helping other guests. Our room was clean and was generally upgraded, however the red moldy bathtub caulk negated the efforts to update the bathroom. New caulk is a quick fix!! The halls often smelled like weed, which is becoming the norm in many places I'm sad to say. The back door would not lock, so anyone could just walk in day or night. We told the desk clerk who said she'd tell maintenance..of course nothing was done. So much for the locked for your safety signs. There is a truck in the parking lot with its transmission or motor laying on the ground...hence the seedy remark! Sleep quality, bed, wifi, AC all fine. The outdoor pool looked nice but was not cleaned up, with old plastic cups and wet towels all over from the day before. Breakfast was barely adequate. Upon leaving, we could see the lobby bathroom floor had been mopped, but you could hardly see in the mirror...who cleans a bathroom and omits the mirror? This place could be much better with more/better trained staff and real maintenance.
I stayed here May 7, 2022. When I checked in, the staff told me I might not be able to get an Uber to the concert at the Castle Theater (The Hu - fantastic performance.) When I got upstairs, the door to my room wouldn't lock. Although staff tried to fix it, they didn't have the parts. I was moved to another room, and the key cards didn't work. This was fixed in minutes. One of the staff members told me she herself would drive me to the concert because I had lost time. Bottom line: Things do go wrong wherever you stay. But everything that did go wrong was addressed immediately. My room and the lobby were sparkling clean. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. And if you do go to a concert at the Castle, you can park for free across the street.
Best western has never let me down and always has great staff. I would definitely recommend Best Western to my friends and family. The internet and breakfast are great. I'm definitely going to stay as often as I can
Horrible,Scary, Lying dishonest Management making up stories to kick guests out. Disgusting. They changed me to a new room after my first room on my first night had a broken and clogged bathroom sync, a broken non functional toilet tank, and a broken heavy metal towel rack that fell on me. Disliked · My first morning at 5am the metal towel rack above the toilet tank and the rack fell on me on my upper left back shoulder. Not a single hotel manager reached out to me to check if I was ok, if I had any injury from the rack, or at least to apologize. Nobody apologized for my room not having a functional toilet for the broken and clogged sync or for the rack falling on me. Instead The General Manager Bobby threatened to kick me out of the hotel because I went to the front desk and asked for my room to be cleaned, I stayed 8 nights and not once they cleaned my room or changed my sheets or give me new towels or toiletries. The GM said they didn't have a cleaning person at that moment and I had to make my own bed and clean my room. To what I replied: “I don't work here, so please send someone to clean” but they didn't, they kept saying to request for cleaning the night before which I did multiple nights but they never cleaned my room. So when I replied to The GM “I dont work here” He started yelling “Get out of my hotel!” He followed me to the elevator yelling and harassing me to leave. I went up to my room and The GM called my room to keep his harassing and he lied to me saying he had video footage of me sitting outside of my room and that's why i had to leave so I asked him to show me the “footage” because I knew he was lying. I explained to him my horrible experience from day one, then he apologized because he said he didn't know I was the same person that had the rack fallen. I honestly have no words for how horrible they treated me. The lack of sympathy and Honesty the staff has is sad for a hotel this busy. Dishonest General Manager, dishonest Management. God bless them! And God protect future Guests from these dangerous dishonest Hotel Crew.
Lots of pillows, small but several. Lots of toiletries. The water in faucet barely came out. The air conditioner was VERY noisy. There were some folks that must have checked late (9 or 10 pm), very loud. (Hotel has no control over that though). It sounded like someone from hotel came up to quiet them down. There was also a broken down truck in parking lot. Engine and muffler was laying on the ground. Front desk clerk did recommend an awesome place for supper.
The hotel rooms were nice, beds comfortable, air-conditioned was wonderful! Rooms pretty clean. Staff was very nice, and helpful!! They could do a better job on their breakfast, but it isn't that big of a deal for me. I also didn't like the parking lot, it didn't have an outlet on the backside of the hotel. But overall, our stay was good!!! Thank you to the staff!
Everything was excellent except the slamming of exterior exit doors. Received excellent customer services, excellent room conditions, breakfast outstanding, polite energetic willing to help staff, everything I have come to expect of a Best Western Hotel, except being woken up several time during the night by the exterior exit door being slammed. Hotel needs to put automatic closures on the exit doors to prevent the slamming when clients leave the building and let go of the doors.
Overnight stay on way down to visit our daughter in Clarksville, TN. Very nice, clean hotel. Excellent breakfast. Comfy beds, fridge, microwave. Pool. Workout room. Very impressed with hotel. Would stay again.
This hotel is not very clean. There was a bad smell throughout the hotel. The beds and pillows were very lumpy. The room was very small for two queen beds which made moving around difficult. The room was not very clean. There was lint on the bedding and mildew in the bathroom
A very nice Hotel. Conveniently located. I was extremely impressed with the staff because they were so concerned with with our well being. The free breakfast is actually good. Nice variety and very clean breakfast area. I would definitely stay there again.
Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Picks you up at the airport too. Made arrangements even though it was in the middle of a blizzard. This place will far exceed expectations and is a great value for the money!
Very luxurious room at an economical price. Staff was very friendly. No complaints ar all. Breakfast buffet was comparable to other establishments I've visited. Complimentary pickup service was very nice too.
The room cost was reasonable. The beds comfortable. Each had a reading light by each queen bed for those who read before retiring. The breakfast was ok but in light of covid each item was individually wrapped: ie. Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, Danish was wrapped in plastic, hard boiled eggs in plastic. There was a variety of fresh fruit
The beds are comfortable and they serve a good hot breakfast (pancakes, biscuits & gravy, etc.). In the first room given, the TV didn't work. The second room given had poor internet connection and was next to a room being painted (smelled paint fumes for 2 days). Housekeeping staff were loud in hallways (making it difficult to work in my room due to the noise) and were rude at checkout (inquired multiple times prior to the checkout time and nearly walked in on me as I was getting dressed). If it was not for the low rate I was given for the multiple night stay, I would have left after the first day. Definitely disappointed and will not return to this hotel.
The Best Western Plus Bloomington East Hotel in Bloomington, Illinois is a little off the beaten path for those traveling along I-74...but let me tell you, it's worth the effort if the traveler is looking for a CLEAN facility with FRIENDLY staff and a nicely maintained hotel for an overnight. This particular BW offers breakfast in a spacious dining area. And...the price simply cannot be beat. We've been to several other BWs recently that charged more and provided much less. Our room was a little tight for three of us, but we managed and would definitely stay here again if coming through Bloomington. With the Bloomington East Hotel, we feel that BW is back...and we're glad it is.
Sad, dark decor with very poor lighting. Didn't publicize that there was no maid service (due to Covid) unless requested. I requested but still nothing. Had to ambush workers I came across in the halls to ask for bed-making, towels, toilet paper, coffee supplies. Weak water pressure and several electrical outlets were too loose to hold a plug. Poor signage about wet floors; I took a hard fall one morning and slid into the lobby on my stomach like a performing seal. Front desk person saw me but said nothing (another guest helped me up and asked if I was injured). In-room phone was dead. HVAC worked well but was noisy. Nice TV, fridge and in-room coffee but coffee packets were hard to get replenished. Good hangers in closet. Non-smoking; smelled clean. Didn't use workout room but it looked nice. Ample parking even with the big-rig trucks taking up space. Was made uncomfortable one night returning to the property by loud guys smoking weed at a side entrance.
our room was very clean, hot tub was great but it took a little time to fill it,,,bed was very comfortable...the television had more sports channels than any other ..heaters were a little noisy but no too bad..over all the hotel was very nice..
Overall it was fine fir a one night stop over. Bed was a bit on the hard side for me but husband thought it was fine for him. Definitely outdated halls and rooms but lobby appeared to be updated. Bathroom had a lot of mold in the bathtub corners needs some good mildew cleaner. Also the soap holder in the bathtub was gross (caked soap etc) don't think anyone has cleaned that daily. Breakfast is all prepackaged highly processed fast food not much in the line of healthy options to choose from. We realize some of the foods are here due to Covid but we have stayed at other chains that share doing hot fresh foods and the nightly price is in the same price point. I think a good refresh snd update of halls and rooms would be beneficial.
The address given to us to find Motel which we put into our GPS got us lost, we had to call again, and found out NOT to include the 1/2 in the GPS address . Once there, there were good eating options close by which was the only plus Once in the room, several problems popped up. Remote did not work had to go to front desk to get new batteries. No Luggage rack in the room and very limited space to put suitcases up off the floor. Small sectional couch in the room took up space and then a larger desk inside the door made it difficult to get into the room with two queen beds. First motel I have stayed in where the hallways went up and down. But worst problem was in the bathroom, we found several long black hairs in plain site on the back and seat of the toilet. By that time we were ready for bed so didnt want to change room, but when we checked out in the morning we informed them of this lack of cleanliness but there was nothing offered to compensate for this, even after I showed them pictures. They didnt seem concerned just stating they would talk to housekeeping. Bathroom was extremely cramped with no fan vent. Price was too high for what we received. We would not stay here again for several reasons .
Had some problems with my recent stay. Much could be attributed to the pandemic (short staff, rooms not cleaned, etc.), but forgetting to turn off a pre-dawn wake-up call requested by a previous inhabitant of the room I was in? There's no excuse for that. In this technological age, when a person checks out all wake-up call requests should be eliminated automatically. I worked in IT.
My experience was great overall, you won't be disappointed. Fitness rooms, HOT breakfast, bar inside hotel that closes late for us guest who arrive after 10pm. Great great experience and so comfortable beds. I actually slept
We reserved 13 rooms for our softball team. Chrissy at the front desk took great care of us and our girls. The building is newly remodeled and spotless! The breakfast was good. We have zero complaints! Great hotel!!
Although the room was nice and the staff was very friendly , we had to leave the motel because of the fruit fly's in the room. I'm not talking about one or two but swarms of them throughout the room and bath room. At first we attempted to kill them off but realized it was hopeless because of the number of them. We had to leave the room and asked the clerk for another room but after stating there were no rooms available we had to leave to find another motel. I realize that some things just happen but I'm sure if the room had been cleaned properly this could have never happened. Being a rewards member I expect much more from this name brand.
Fast check-in and check-out with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very clean hotel in a nice central location. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel when visiting the Bloomington/Normal area.
Very nice stay No issues and outdoor pool is a huge plus. I mean indoor ok in winter but who even thinks of pools in winter in Illinois. For that head to Florida not Illinois and nothing like drinking a jack and coke and hanging out at the pool See you there Monday
We only needed a room for 1 night while traveling a long distance. The staff was friendly and the room was basically clean. There was mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. The room was average, nothing special. I had no problems with the WiFi, just a little slow. No complaints and the price was not too bad.
The front desk staff are wonderful! The rooms are clean and neat. Housekeeping staff here is also wonderful and willing to help with anything. Maintenance is also wonderful. They have a nice breakfast in the morning and the lobby is beautiful and spotless. The pool is nice also and they have a great workout room! You can't go wrong staying here!
We stayed here for 2 nights. Checkin was quick and easy. Public areas were clean. The elevator was pretty jerky but we always got to where we wanted lol. Room was a decent size (king rm) and clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast was grab n go and not many things to chose from.
Checked in on Friday June 25th, nice staff member check us in, had 2 Rooms. Gave credit card for payment. *Upon arriving back from visiting on Saturday, both rooms were not cleaned by housekeeping staff. Went to front desk to inquire about linens being changed and clean towels, another staff member at desk told me that housekeeping staff was gone for the day and gave us sheets and towels which she was nice enough to bring to room. If there's not enough staff members working in house keeping then you need to let guest know of the short staff. **On last morning of stay the front desk clerk called my son's room and told him he had a balance due of $122.08 which needed to be paid. We went to front desk and spoke with Kyra regarding bill, told her already paid for both rooms which a bill was sent to my email that morning which had $0 balance and was deducted from. Credit card. She then called for her Manager Chrissy Larkin, which started telling us that the night auditor made a mistake with the reversal of monies to state paid and continue talking to Kyra showing her the screen and what not to do(really, lm a guest listening to nothing, l then asked her so since there's an error made by your auditor, you want us to give you another $122.08 so that you balance even though you already took that. Ms. Larkin starts to raise her voice and l tell her why are you raising your voice, she calls me honey.. l inform her what my name is. And she says we are not trying to rip you off and l said but you are. If this person is the manager, sales director for this hotel chain then some more training needs to be provided. Very unprofessional person and rude..
This is not Best Western Plus quality!! The room was small - not where to even put your suitcase. Poor water pressure and no fan I bathroom. Nothing hot for breakfast was available other than coffee. The bedside charges did not work. There was a water leak in the hallway we came through - not very inviting! The desk staff knew nothing about restaurants in the area and gave me no indication if I got my reward points. This hotel was simply not of Best Western Plus quality!
Traveling with family, we chose this hotel based on reviews. It was a remodeled kind of old fashioned motel, with some panels placed along what appeared to be former outdoor corridors. The room was pretty small, as was the bathroom. Wi-fi went off soon after we got in the room. In fairness, I think this was due to a storm going through. Our room was near a back entrance, and it was surprising to see it wasn't locked after dark. It was clean and had everything needed for a quick overnight stop. Desk clerk, Jasmine, was very nice and helpful.
Several things to consider here. The rooms are way too small with too much decor filling up the room. We reported some stains on the ceiling and that it appeared that pieces of the ceiling might fall down. Maintenance the next morning hit the door twice, yelled maintenance, and without waiting unlocked and opened the door. The secondary lock kept them from getting in, but it was rude and inconsiderate of them to rush into the room like that. Even if there was a leak (which we did not report, just stains and it looked like parts of the ceiling might fall down), they should have attended to the "leak" the night before when we reported it, not the next morning. We stayed at this location because this was where my brother was staying and we wanted to spend time with them. The trouble is, my brother requested the shuttle service for in the morning, twice that night, yet the shuttle was not ready for them. They were told that the van sitting outside would take an hour to get ready, what a joke. Thankfully we were there and were able to take them to the airport. They almost missed their flight thanks to you all. I will not be staying at this location in the future for personal or business trips.
The staff and even the owner were very pleasant and professional. The room was clean and nice and newly renovated. The stripes in the parking lot could use some repainting, and the laundry washer and dryer could be updated/upgraded to commercial sized units. They were small and outdated.
The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay great. I will definitely be back. If I ever need a room when I'm close to the area and they have great food near by as well. Would definitely recommend to family and friends
Okay for a overnight stay especially if alone. Quarters get pretty tight with partner, and definitely would not recommend for families. Felt quite claustrophobic in room. The quality of the decor is mediocre. The wear on the hotel makes it seem older than it is. Plus, it is located on a busy street making it easy to access but you do hear road noise inside room. No healthy breakfast options if seeking low carb.
Find Another Hotel - there are plenty at this price point that have decent sized, clean rooms. My room had bath hardware hanging off the walls, hair stuck to the shower walls, 5 pieces of Kleenex, and a hellish long walk, up a ramp to the elevators from the front desk. You can spend the same amount of money and get a better designed, better run hotel that is not hidden down an approach street right next to the high traffic Veterans Highway. If I ever have to go to Bloomington IL again I will be going elsewhere for accommodation.
expectations are low in my price range, but this was a pleasant surprise. Coming and leaving were quick and efficient. Butit waste room that will bring me back. It was meticulous. As I drew closer to my night's stay, doubt crept in. Can a room in my price range really as good as the reviews. Well, it was even more than I expected. I will stay again if I go to family on that route.
The hotel itself was very average. However, they advertise as a non-smoking hotel, but do nothing to enforce this policy. It was clear upon check-in that a guest in another room had been smoking. The issue was reported to the front desk and I was assured it would be addressed. The issue was not addressed and the smoking (cigarettes, cigars, marijuana) continued throughout the night. Fortunately, our room was far enough away that the smell didn't enter our room, but anytime we left the room, we were overwhelmed with the smells.
Always very polite and quick check in. Hotel room is always very clean as is the lobby. If staying in the area and looking for a deal, I look for this place because it's reasonably priced and very nice
Chrissy is very helpful at the front desk very nice and accommodating. The room was nice and clean very tidy nice and warm not a lot of noise very relaxing stay no riff Raff that's always an a plus....
The hotel sits back off the main road but is near every store you could possibly need. Close to restaurants, the mall, target. Postmates even delivers to your room if you don't want to leave! Super clean and bright, you can tell they take care of the property. I often travel alone and always feel safe staying there. Front desk staff is always kind and accommodating. Overall a great stay every time, this is my go to hotel in Bloomington, IL!
Definitely worth the price!! Great location near lots of food options and staff is amazing! Asked for late check-out and they extended it to 1 pm which was great as I'd been on the road for 2 days and it was nice to not have to rush!
Good place to charge car overnight. Would be nice to have another charger just in case the 2 spots were taken. The room was just the right size for two people. Staff was very friendly and made good conversation.
If you are heading to Bloomington Normal, try out the unassuming Best Western Plus off of Veteran's Parkway. Greg the manager and his staff will make you feel right at home. They have excellent protocols in place for COVID-19 and we have always had extremely clean rooms. Greg has worked with my family to help us continue to visit my elderly mother and mother-in-law through the pandemic. We use the Best Western as our home base while in town. We are even greeted by name when we come into the lobby! It is our home away from home and we appreciate having a great place to stay!
Very clean, reasonably priced, comfortable and pleasant along with helpful staff. So much so that we chose Best Western Hotels for the remainder of our trip. Very accommodating since I was on crutches.
I stayed at a place that was 3 times more expensive than Best Western and enjoyed Best Western 3 times more than the expensive place! I've stayed 4 nights. Staff is friendly and attentive, place is clean and organized. Unlimited beverages...for free! A refrigerater, closet. A cozy space. No complaints from me.
Staff did not wear a mask throughout 90% of my check-in process. When staff was wearing a mask it was down below the nose. Third floor smelled like weed, my room had a musty smell and my coffee pot did not work. Only paid $60 for this room but considering the current pandemic I did not feel safe at all. Stay away if you are at all concerned about COVID 19.
The hotel seemed clean from your first step inside the doors. The lady working the front desk was very nice and wearing a mask. Our rooms were nice. The hallways were quiet during the night. The next morning, the breakfast was just warm juice and prepackaged sugary snacks - Honey Buns, granola bars, muffins - plus either an apple or a banana. The woman working the desk on Sunday morning did not wear a mask or face shield, nor was there plexiglass installed on the desk. She was nice, but it was worrisome that she didn't bother wearing a mask. There were a lot of restaurants within the immediately area.
Easy on and off the I-System along old Route 66; the desk clerk was the best I've run into in years (she was a wealth of info on what to see, where to eat, roads to avoid, etc.). There was vast array of restaurants within a minute of this motel; immediately next door is Bandanas BBQ (the best I've ever had outside of North Carolina). I'll stay here again, and will look forward to it.
Traveling in the midst of a pandemic is worrisome due to the risks involved. Our arrival at the Best Western Plus Bloomington East provided us with immediate assurance that we would be safe. The lobby was impeccably clean with the faint odor of sanitizing products and the front desk attendant was wearing a mask. Once on our floor and on our way to our room we could detect the trace odor of cleaning products giving us a sense that precautions were being taken to sanitize the rooms. Upon entry to our room that sense was confirmed when we discovered a pristinely cleaned room that even smelled very clean. We have developed our own protocol of bringing our own sanitizing cleaning products with us and we did perform the task of wiping down and sanitizing every touch surface in the room and bathroom. This requires we make a very close inspection of the room and we discovered nothing amiss. Other travelers should rest assured that the management, supervisors and housekeeping staff at this property are taking their responsibilities to provide a safe and sanitary environment for their customers very seriously. We never saw any employee not wearing a mask and midday of our second day, while rooms were being cleaned, we again detected the odor of the cleaning products being used. This was very reassuring to us. The hotel was very quiet and we enjoyed two restful nights here. Without hesitation we recommend others to stay here while visiting the Bloomington / Normal area. We compliment the staff we encountered for their friendly, professional attitudes during what has to be very unusual times for them.
Very nice facility, friendly and efficient desk personnel; clean and new-highly recommend this location. This facility is in Bloomington-just off Veteran's Parkway in the Eastern part of town; near the Mall, restaurants, etc., and hoping for back to normal after COVID, but this facility was very accomodating in spite of COVID.
Easy check in and very friendly staff. To-go breakfast not very impressive; no drink. Room is good size and there are lots of compartments for storing items. Room had a half couch which was nice. Fridge is decent size but not cold enough and no way to adjust temp. Good lighting in room and free wifi. Toilet seat was not cleaned and there was no bathroom fan. Having to open door handles at the same time of scanning key card on scanner was very inconvenient. Not possible if hands are full with bags. Flusher knob on toilet was hard to find and reach because it was up against sink. Not a terrible hotel for a cheap one night stay.
We were there at a difficult time, the Coronavirus closures had just started in Illinois. This meant they had to shut down the hot breakfast but the cold self-serve was still good. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and, when I last saw the front-desk guy, he was diligently sanitizing the breakfast area.
A nice facility that is clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was good and the setting for it was nice. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a little difficult to get to but once ypu are there it is worth the effort to find it. Plus, there is a very nice barbacue restaurant just a short distance from the hotel.
The staff of the motel were friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and had comfortable beds. The breakfast was good and had a good selection of breakfast items. Definitely would stay again if in the area,
Beautiful renovation with comfortable beds/pillows and surprisingly quiet seeing it is in shopping areas(mall across street). ADA room a little tight without adjustable shower hose(tub...room 105). Floors are inclined in various places...odd. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Hot breakfast. Over all...a good stay.
Hotel was very clean and up to date. Chargers everywhere. Good lighting and no weird smells or anything weird. Everything worked like expected. Staff was super friendly and helpful. If I am down in the area again I would definitely choose here
We stayed at your hotel for my husband surprise bday weekend check in was easy and the guest service lady was great room was nice and clean love the towel heart on the bed upon arrival super cute thanks for a great stay will be back again !!
The place was great nice bed very quite the clock was very bright and illuminated the room when you had the lights off trying to sleep heater maintained a comfortable setting the bathroom Was very clean breakfast was ok staff very friendly lots of parking
Everything was great. It was an overnight stay but the staff made sure everything was in order. Being a business trip they worked to make sure the direct billing was intact. The had refreshments during the evening before bedtime and I woke up to a full breakfast of bacon and eggs as well as other items of food to choose from.
Extremely clean, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. Comfy beds with nice pillows. Great pricing. Would definitely stay here again. They treat their guests as if this is a 5 star hotel. And it should be! Was there with a bunch of teenage boys for a hockey tournament. Our families were very happy with this hotel.
Stopped for on overnight rest on my drive from Chicago to Kansas city. The rooms and the whole property is fresh and comfortable with nice service by the staff. They have adequate parking and nice breakfast spread. The wifi speeds are fantastic and thats about what one needs for an overnight stayover on road. Overall a good stay!
I stay at this Best Wester Express every time I'm in Bloomington on business. Great location. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by. ISuper comfortable beds and very friendly staff. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the country. I rarely get such value for my dollar.
The hotel was in a great location for traveling to ISU. Room was clean, but could have had more attention to vacuuming the corners of the room. And no extra toilet paper we had to call down but they did come very quickly. Beds were very comfortable. It was a nice stay.
excellent place to stay. Clean, neat great friendly staff. large varity on breakfast. Very safe area!! I would recommend this place. Nice poole, workout area. Coffee any time. Chocolate chip cookies most nights
The only part that lacked 5 stars was location, but that's not their fault :) . It wasn't especially close to the roads we were traveling, but I chose it because it had good reviews, and BEST PART, we got it for FREE with our accumulated travel rewards. It took us a long time (since we don't travel a ton) to have enough points to get a room for free, and this was a GREAT way to wrap up a long vacation, before the last leg of the journey home. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was excellent!! I would probably choose this one again, even if it IS off our route a bit.
I cannot rave enough about the service i got from Arrionna. That smile of her's will make even bad news sound good. She is always willing to help. She makes you feel special. Give that woman a raise. The other front desk worker Rebecca could use a lesson or two from Arrionna. She was too worried about smoking and talking on the phone.
Went out for a softball tournament and had Best Western gift cards, so chose this location. Best Western is one of those hotels where you know you're going to get a good experience regardless of location, and this was no different. Check-in was easy, staff was helpful. There was a nice little personal touch I haven't seen at a Best Western (or any hotel for that matter), a handwritten note with a little towel heart left on the bed. Secondly, I asked for a couple extra pillows and boy did they deliver. Bed was loaded up with all the pillows we needed and then some. In reality, it's a good place to stay close to 55. Hotel was clean, room was clean, and staff was welcoming, whether it was the front desk staff or any of the housekeeping staff. Checkout was as easy as it could be (if you've ever paid in gift cards at a hotel, you know it's naturally a challenge for the staff based on the accounting processes). However, the person running the desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The one caveat about the hotel was the bathroom. Let me start with the compliments: It was clean and well stocked, and the shower head was built to accommodate my 6'4" height. Awesome. However, the bathroom in my room didn't have exhaust fans. Draw your own conclusions. Breakfast was your expected Best Western experience: waffle maker, eggs, meat (bacon), biscuits and gravy plus pastries/oatmeal/cereal. They did have this one-touch pancake maker which looks to be changing the hospitality breakfast game. Not even a fan of pancakes and got some just for that experience. Plus, hadn't seen this at a BW, but they also had a build your own yogurt parfait thing. Good selection, but didn't change either day. All in all, if you're going to Bloomington and want a better-than-your-average-Best Western experience, I recommend the place.
The hotel was clean and like new, The people were so helpful and nice made my stay feel great and i feel if I needed something taken care it would be done by the hotel staff. If I ever am in the Bloomington Illinois area again this is where I will stay.
This is recently remodeled. Bed and bedding are excellent, Flooring did not discolor my white socks. Staff is friendly. Bathroom was brightly lit and clean. Breakfast was good. However, the room, 116A, is small for a Plus Hotel. There is no chair or sofa, only an unusable, toddler sized, corner seat not suitable for watching TV or even sitting comfortably. The bathroom vanity was actually too small in my opinion.
Of all the places we stayed at on our vacation, the price was close or the same as others. The quality of our stay was way better at BW than any other place...hands down. I would recommend BW to anyone.
This was the last stop on a 9 day tour of the UP in Michigan. We were now within a day's drive of home. Arrived at the hotel and greeted promptly. We asked for a first floor room ... accommodated easily! We were asked for our BW+ number, and then accorded the pleasantries of being a BW+ member. Nice touch. Room was clean and bright. I don't think that the hotel is new, but it has recently had a facelift. It shows. Very nice room, clean and bright. Beds were comfortable ... but, we always bring our own pillows. Somehow, we just don't sleep well on hotel pillows. Ahhhh ... We just needed a place to park our bodies overnight, so we didn't use any of the facilities. We were meeting friends for breakfast the next morning and skipped the meal. Overall, a great place to spend a night.
Peace and tranquility. All the way down to the smoke free environment this hotel was quiet, brand new clean. No musty smells, no foul Indian food odors, no nasty Cigaret or marijuana smell. The hotel was brightly lit inside and out given you the feeling of securityAnd cleanliness. In the morning breakfast was organized and very tasty. A breakfast Room Was Bright and spacious and kept clean the whole time. I recommend this Best Western to Everyone Needing a nice quiet restful stay I personally would stay At this Best Western again
This was an excellent experience. We has super service, the staff was very caring, professional, and courteous. The room was very nice, the lobby was very good, the breakfast area was roomy and clean, the food was warm and very good. This hotel is an excellent value.
Got into this hotel late because of our stop at the St. Louis Arch. We were greeted by the friendly staff at the front desk and give our room quickly. We got a candy bar and a drink then went up to the room. Nice and quiet which was great since we were exhausted.
This was a very nice place to stay. The room was good and the facility was clean. The WiFi worked very good. Breakfast had a large variety of options. Check in was a little slow because no one was at the desk when we arrived but they apologized for the wait.
This hotel is a nice facility. The overall appearance is nice and the room we had was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Breakfast offerings were similar to those found in other Best Western faiclities with a nice variety of good food in a pleasant setting. The facility would be a little hard to find without a gps but it was well worth the effort to do so.
The hotel is nice, staff friendly areas were clean room was clean, my room was a 1 king bed but the set up for the bed and the fridge makes it hard to move of you open the fridge you block all the way to move through the room, the bathroom was clean but the shower curtain had mold which was kinda yucky. The breakfast is good!! Only issue was there was inly one person working breakfast area during rush hour so some items you request may not be brought, I asked for hot water and It was never refilled, the guy couldn't keep up. Also I believed removing the original packaging for the danish is a waste of time. Besides that it is a good hotel it was fair for the price.
I'm a long-time Best Western Rewards member. I checked in on June 18. I asked for an upper-story room, away from groups, pets, etc., because I had to work until late. On entering, I realized that there were no lamps, of any kind, anywhere in the room. There was a small wall sconce on each side of the bed, and one larger sconce on the wall across from the bathroom. I called the front desk, and the clerk checked with the manager to see if she could find a lamp for the room desk, so that I could work on my laptop. She called back and said that the manager had informed her that the motel did not supply lamps of any sort in its rooms. I then found out that the strips with three-prong plugs and ethernet? usb? plugins, found on each side of the bed on the night stand shelves and along the back of the room desk, were all dummies. The openings were filled with plastic plugs. That meant that to charge the four devices I carry with me, I had to dive under the wall outlets under the night stand shelves. THAT meant that I could not, say, sit at the desk and use my laptop, tablet, and phone while charging. I point out that this was an Accessible room, I asked for it for a reason, and getting down on my stomach to plug in my chargers is a major operation. I explained to the desk clerk that I needed to work at the desk for several hours; was she sure? The desk clerk very conscientiously looked up corporate policy, and said that all that is required in a Best Western Plus by the franchise agreement is three wall sconces in each room, and no set numbr of functioning wall outlets. There were a number of other problems, most notably that the controls for the wall unit were buried at floor level, with less than a foot of clearance from the cabinet for the refrigerator. UNLIT. IN THE DARK. WITH NO LIGHTS ON THE WALL. After dark, just try to change fan or temperature settings. And the bathroom floor was covered with sticky grey blobs, and the sink and tub drains were slow, but by that point I saw no reason to get moved to another room (see above). Of course, the reservation was non-refundable. Here's the underlying problem: I've been a member of the Rewards program for several years. This was a Best Western Plus. APPARENTLY, I HAVE TO RUN DOWN A CHECKLIST AT EACH AND EVERY BEST WESTERN PROPERTY WITH THE FRONT DESK TO DETERMINE WHETHER MY ROOM WILL HAVE LIGHTS, CLEAN FLOORS, OPERATING WALL OUTLETS, AND USABLE HVAC CONTROLS. So what, exactly, does "Best Western Plus" on the front of a property indicate? To put it another way, if I can count on a Super 8 or a Red Roof Inn (or, for that matter, a Motel 6) to supply me with a usable desk, usable air conditioning, and a clean bathroom, who needs Best Western, and Best Western Rewards?
I discovered this hotel when I was in town for the Stream Punk convention. Upon arriving, I fell in love with the style and feel of the hotel. Streamlined but stylish, I loved everything about the room and the time at the hotel.
The hotel has been updated & the decor is very nice. It is in a central location with easy access to many stores. The breakfast choices were good and the staff very helpful. It also has secure access which as a solo female traveler is comforting.
On the plus side, the room was very clean, everyone was friendly, lots of towels, good shower. On the down side, the TV didn't work, the air conditioner loudly turned on and off all night and the pillows were way to firm for my liking and the layout of the motel as a whole was very odd. Stay only with a very good price.
Outstanding service provided by hotel staff,Rebecca saw to it that we were taken care of. Hotel is close to highway and easy to find. Eating and shopping is very close by, was directed to a Mexican restaurant that was outstanding. Definitely will stay here again when in Bloomington!
The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and was able to accommodate for your personal needs. The free breakfast was very good. Everything is within walking distance or a very short drive (5 Minutes) from the hotel. Overall, it was a very nice stay. Would recommend.
Pool was closed with a paper taped to the glass door...sorry for the inconvenience....our near week stay not once did we ever see any attempt to fix it...also the maid staff never took our our small trash cans...they came in and made our beds and put some towels back...never replaced our shampoo bottles with full ones...
My husband and I were very happy with our stay. We liked the modern, updated look. The price was great, especially considering that other hotels in the area with lower ratings charged more. The staff member at the reception desk was very nice-we booked at the last minute and not many rooms were left. After she confirmed that we didn't need the accessible room automatically assigned to us, we appreciated that she recommended a room on the 3rd floor (a quieter area). Would definitely stay there again if travelling through Bloomington.
I stayed here while attending a conference at another hotel where the "special" conference rate was still much higher than that which I paid at Best Western. According to the staff this hotel had belonged to another chain and underwent a complete remodel when it became a Best Western. It is a very attractive facility throughout from the lobby to the breakfast area to my guest room. I found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant.
You can not get a better stay at the price poin . This is a much better hotel than you realize.the food was outstanding. the location to medical and restaurants was super. The hotel staff jeit very clean.
I called while on the road to get a room for the night. Was able to secure a room on-line and upon arrival, check-in was a breeze. The room was very neat and clean. Just wish there had been a hair dryer. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.
The newly renovated Bloomington location is lovely. It is very clean and the design of the room is an efficient use of space. The staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one.
Newly remodeled, Accessible bathroom was really nice. Easy to manuever in. Very Clean and spacious. Good location with several nice restaurants around. Nice breakfast. Easy Check in and out. Outdoor Pool.
This was our first visit to this hotel. We were coming from the airport (at night), and although we could see the place from the main road, we found it a bit tricky to get to. The check-in lady was very friendly, and directed us to our room (which we appreciated since the elevators were not very close to the lobby). Our 2Q room was nice and clean, but there wasn't much room between the beds, walls, and furniture. The bathroom was pretty tight too, and the water pressure was average. After a quiet and restful night, we checked-out the breakfast area which was well-stocked, but not real tidy (like there had been an earlier rush). The hot foods were hot, and the cold items, cold. Overall, we had a nice stay at a great price!
I have not stayed at a Best Western in years. I stayed at this one twice in the last four or five months. It was a pleasant surprise especially for the cost. If you are looking just for a place to crash and don't need anything fancy, this lace is a great value.
Exceptionally clean, however rooms were small. Perfect for a quick stay as we drove through town. Very good breakfast. We would definitely stay there again. The facility was easy to find right off the freeway.
This hotel met all of our expectations. The check in staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. We left early in the morning so we could not enjoy the breakfast. The evening staff made us coffee in the morning. We were traveling south and it was off the interstate but we found it easily. It was also easy to get on the interstate to continue on down.
We stayed here on a quick trip, and since the price was very inexpensive, we weren't sure what quality the room/hotel premises would be. Rebecca was friendly at check in, didn't rush us, as I had a few questions. The room was modern and very clean. The breakfast area was good sized. There's an outdoor pool. The hotel layout is different, but is handicap accessible. The only thing that gave away this was not a brand new hotel was the popcorn ceilings. :) We were very pleased with our accommodations and would recommend this hotel!
I visited this establishment on Saturday December 22nd 2018. Very nice place, very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, but what I really loved was the fact that I left my diamond earrings on the bed when I checked out. An hour later I noticed they were gone and remembered I left them on the bed. I immediately called Ravi at the front desk and he was phenomenal. He called two people to attend to the room to check for me. They found my earrings and had them waiting for me at the front desk. I have lost items at hotels before, and I have called and those items were long gone. I truly appreciate the honesty and integrity of the staff at this hotel. I would certainly stay here again! Service was excellent!!!
We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago when it was a Baymont and walking into it now it seems like a completely different hotel! They got all the little details right. The hotel has gotten a wonderful update that consists of all new everything. Clean is an understatement. Staff beyond friendly. Breakfast decent and free! Wifi worked great. Rooms comfortable and nice. For the price per night this is the best value in the area I think. We will be frequent visitors!
Nice hotel with newly renovated with all amenities. Wide variety of breakfast menu. Good for a break in i55 for travelers. Has Direct TV, WiFi and rooms with office friendly setup. Ample parking space
We stayed for a night before we left to st.louis. The place is clean and staffs are friendly. Breakfast is good too. All for a cheaper price. We will consider this place to stay again if we are around Bloomington.
This hotel was wonderful and at an excellent price! Good value, clean, appropriate appointments and adequate breakfast. Hospitality by staff was appreciated after a long drive and tire problems. They recommended a fabulous restaurant in the area and could direct us to good coffee in the morning.
I did not see the hotel in the daylight so not sure about the outside, but the inside was updated and very nice. Had a very comfortable lobby area to hang out in. THe rooms were clean and very comfortable. Arrionna checked us in and was great! Very good value for the price. Nice breakfast in the morning.
Arrionna checked me in. Was very gracious and polite. She took time during busy check ins/calls and slow times to talk to me. As a female rooming alone professionally and personally I was reassured that I chose the right hotel for safety and comfort. Arrionna went above and beyond to keep me company instead of making me feel I was being a bother or interfering while taking care of other customers right away. She's awesome. Very personable and quick even with multitasking. This is without losing the hospitality that is lost at most hotels. She's an amazing employee and I would recommend this hotel based on her performance soley. She makes it worth it.
This hotel was very nice with extremely kind staff and many stores and restaurants all around. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The wifi worked very well. The breakfast was very good. The one thing that was a little different than other Best Westerns was that the size of the rooms was a little small. Other than that it was very nice.
The service was great from the manager Arrionna and if she is not the manager she should be,also very respectful humanizing and committing at a high profssinal customer service is great she was very attentive and addressed aLloyd of my concerns . the room was great it was beautiful, this place has a nice Fitness room and a pool outside not open in this season over all this was a great experience
We loved our 5 night stay here. The hotel was new and very clean. The staff was so nice and helpful. The desk clerks - Arianna and Rebecca - always had a smile on their face and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The maintenance gentleman - Chris - was quick, thorough, compentent and helpful when we called for help to unplug a toilet. Jeff, who helped in the breakfast area, was helpful and friendly and very prepared to have a great breakfast ready each morning. We loved the biscuits and gravy! All of the maids were friendly each day, saying hello, good morning, can we help you? We really enjoyed our time here. There were three of us and a baby. Room was quiet and worked out quite well for us. Very clean rooms, nice amenities and quiet. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the General Manager, Greg Rakestraw. He is a hands-on manager who I saw daily working along with the employees to be sure the hotel looked great. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to visit family. Thank you, Greg and staff. We had a comfortable stay in your hotel.
Due to their franchise structure, Best Western stays are hit or miss. This one was definitely a big hit! The hotel was very recently remodeled with a contemporary motive, similar to a Hampton Inn. It has a spacious lobby and breakfast area with complimentary coffee, tea and cocoa all hours. The bed and pillows were super comfy, with soft sheets and a fluffy comforter. It is located very convenientlyto major chain stores and lots of chain and independent restaurants. The only downsides were: 1) an angled sink in the bathroom made sharing the space difficult and 2) the direct TV service had virtually nothing to watch outside of infomercials and college sports, unless you did pay per view. That being said - if my team makes it to the State meet next year, I would absolutely stay there again!
I was in town for 2 weeks and I was able to get a good rate for the stay. The hotel has been recently renovated and was quite nice. The room was a tad small and the breakfast was the same each day but the staff was more than accommodating and friendly. I would certainly stay there if I am back.
This hotel has been recently renovated and has been done very well . We were extremely pleased with the room and all the facilities. Check in was easy , and we got a call from reception to see if everything was all right. The hotel is slightly hard to find , but we made it through the car park
I was really impressed with this place. Everyone was really friendly, the beds were extremely comfortable, and it was squeaky clean! The outdoor pool remains closed because they don't have a chair lift yet. The gym was great! Lots of free weights and room. The breakfast was also very good and had hot items such as biscuits and gravy, waffles, and scrambled eggs and bacon. There are some touches of a higher class hotel in some areas such as luxury towels. My suggestions to push this would be to include honey and cinnamon by the coffee section. (And also to brew better coffee... it was drinkable but barely.) I also wish their sheets weren't so scratchy, but the comfort of the bed made up for it. They have a charge port for electric vehicles. It's in a nice area near a shopping center. (Can I say, HomeGoods!) My only complaint is that the on-site “restaurant” doesn't have many options.
The staff at this new renovated hotel is the best! First, our stay for 1 night was flawless. Clean rooms, clean lobby, everything in perfect condition. Staff was very helpful in accommodating our travel with 5 children. We had a restful night. Second, we had a little glitch with payment via Expedia and hotel - they were very prompt to fix that! And thirdly, I left my dress at the hotel, and a staff member mailed it to my home address after work. The customer service is amazing. Thank you, and we will stay here again when traveling through Normal, IL.
Had a great time with the hubby. We were greeted personally by the manager. He mentioned they had just recently remodeled. All of the rooms looked clean and fresh. The bed was comfy and they had great amenities to go along with it! Looking forward to staying again.
Great service, staff was very accommodating. I have a very sensitive nose and usually find hotel stays very uncomfortable due to that but my stay here was very nice and did not bother my nose at all (possibly because rooms were just renovated). Also never one to turn down a good waffle (or two) at the breakfast buffet. Thank you
Front desk was very attentive and generous. They upgraded our room with no additional charges. This is a wonderful place to stay with family in Bloomington-IL. Nice very modern rooms and lobby.Nice full buffet breakfast including to make your own waffles ,biscuits and gravy, sausages, frozen yogurt with toppings and much more....thanks
Fantastic Service! Newly renovated! Definitely recommended. My permanent choice for my stays here in Bloomington. The rooms are spacious with modern amenities. Loved the reading LED lights. Excellent breakfast & the Manager was greeting all the guests. I liked that personal touch. Very hospitable.
